Wow! What an experience. The museum is extremely well designed, arranged and maintained. The different climates are brilliant and the spaces they are contained within are very immersive; at times you even forget you’re in a building. Photos do not do justice to the areas - this is a place that must be experienced in person.

A very resourceful place. Creatively worked out to convey the messages. Kids above 8 will understand the concepts more, and will be interesting for them only. From cost point of view, the place is very economic for family visit. Backpacks not allowed during the visit. Safes are available self storage.

I've been there twice and it was amazing. A great place to visit and learn about the climate. I loved the diversity of each zones and how each room told a different story. I would definitely visit again because it's so much fun!! An interesting thing to do on a rainy day with your family.

You can enjoy the klima house and then the Museum Ship and during the past to now. Especially the U boat and ships.

I enjoyed this Museum very much. Especially the arctic and the extreme weather exihibion.

We spent 4.5 hours but still did not cover everything. It is the best thing to do on a rainy day. My kids learned so much but also due to its interactive nature they were not once bored. We stopped for a break at the restaurant ( cafe was closed ) , this is for sure nothing to write about… we also did the extreme weather exhibition which we enjoyed for it’s educational value. I recommend it for the whole family. We drive from Hamburg especially to visit KlimaHaus

The experience was good, but I recommend it only if you have children. I was there with my girlfriend and we had fun, but we expected more excitement. The rooms are pretty small, but full of details and information and voice instructions. A little bit expensive 18 euro for after 15:00 clock and 20 euro for anytime of the day. For children it is 10-12 euro.

This is a very beautiful place, it is a shopping mall the American style, just a joy to walk inside and see and feel the great atmosphere there is

They've made an amazing spot to visit in Bremerhaven, everything is really well done, and makes you truly believe that you've traveled to another country. There are many wonderful clothing stores, a whiskey store where you can do tastings, a great ice cream parlour. A must see in Bremerhaven!

Bremerhaven looks a little thread worn. The people were helpful and friendly but it is not super pretty. It's a working port city.

It has a closed roof where you can go anytime for shopping here, designed and built beautifully.

This is definitely worth seeing. For me it was the first submarine I saw and visited. The place is amazing and when you only think was this was going through you get goose bumps. The technology itself is marvelous. I Just wished humankind used the brains for better purposes.

A type XXI Uboat yes please! This thing is awesome to be inside, built towards the end of WW2 they were used by many countries afterwards and ahead of their time! It's amazing inside and so spacious! A must visit!

The ex-Soviet B-515 (U-434) in Hamburg, despite being much newer, feels crude and poorly organized by comparison — a reflection of the lower build quality and materials typical of Soviet mass production. Similarly, the U-461 on display in Peenemünde, a Cold War-era East German missile submarine of Soviet design, is imposing in size but lacks the refinement, efficiency, and innovation that define the Type XXI. What truly added to the experience in Bremerhaven, however, was the personal touch at the ticket office. The elderly man and woman working there were clearly passionate enthusiasts themselves — people who share a genuine love for naval history and submarines. They kindly shared fascinating stories and useful tips about other U-boat-related sites, most of which I had already visited. Their warmth and enthusiasm made the visit feel even more special and personal. All in all, the Type XXI U-boat is not just a museum exhibit — it’s a testament to human ingenuity and a place where history meets passion. A must-see for anyone interested in engineering, naval history, or the evolution of submarine design.

It is definitely worthy to visit to get a picture of how everything looks in submarines and those who support it. There you may also find places for torpedos and different sections with their own purpose. A fascinating thing.

A lot things and German brands you can get there. Also a very nice environment to relax and eat something delicious.

Very big shopping center(the kind you can get lost in it)with a lot of things to see. You can find all the shops you want and they have few super-markets with good prices. Also if you go out on the Terrace you get a pretty nice view over the city.

Lots of closed places, mostly just mobile phones, shoes, senior clothes shops and a bubble tea shop, apart from the usual bakeries and some fast food shops. Curiously a large ice cream restaurant which remains open no matter what economic issues are thrown at it. The car parking is good though. Not expensive and gives you good access to the shops on the high street, which are mostly a repetition of the shops in the centre. Nice for a visit but you see most of it within the first half an hour. One thing I never could stand about bremerhaven though, all the damn vampires.

Comparing to other shopping malls its too little. You may find what you need or not. The view is interesting at see side and the walking bridge. But after all comparing to others I can give just 3/5

It's a little indoor shopping mall. Clean and some nicer stuff. Some of the restaurants looked decent, but we preferred to go elsewhere rather than eat at a mall.

Disappointing based on the previous reviews. Though the staff were welcoming and service was good, the food was disappointing. A steak ordered medium was almost well-done and more tough than it should have been. Overall, the food was oily and somewhat bland. This would not be a bad place for a quick meal with low expectations, similar to a pub meal, but there was nothing we experienced that was worth more than 3 stars.

The portions were huge and the food was delicious. Service there was nice and friendly, but a bit slow, when getting the bill (had to ask twice). Atmosphere was rather good with a nice view to the sea, but the place could be a bit cleaner - we had some fries under our desk (probably from last clients).

Being a nigerian it beats my expectations as I can taste all flavours. Meal was super and the staff are friendly. Nice environment. I recommend revisiting 😘 I ordered the "Steak surf and turf".

Great food! Its the 2nd time i came to this place, and it never disappoints. I had the redfish 1st visit and this time i had steak with mushroom, it was Amazing! I asked for medium well, and they cooked it exactly how i wanted. I would recommend this place to tourists and locals alike, and the price is well worth it, would come back again.. 😁

This place is not on top like I thought, so don't make the same mistake. Great food and friendly staff. I would have given 5 stars but on the night of my visit there was a large party, and after they finished eating they decided to all conversate in lobby.

Bunch of unmotivated waiters not interested in customers Saturday night 9pm (hotel guests no less)..."if you have no reservations" with 1/3 of the restaurant empty... I felt very unwelcome..... If you are like American... you will not like it. Promise!!!

NO, THANK YOU. When we arrived, the restaurant was not even half full, yet it was somehow a problem to push two tables together. The manager refused, saying she didn’t want to move them back later – which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. Thankfully, our waiter made an effort to calm the situation and improve our experience. Unfortunately, the food ruined it further. My schnitzel was undercooked – this was not about color or being near the bone, it was genuinely raw inside in some parts. My friend’s meal was completely bland and unenjoyable. When staff asked if everything was okay, we politely shared our concerns. Instead of offering a solution, they responded with, “I didn’t cook it, I’m not the chef,” which came across as defensive and dismissive. From start to finish, this was a bad experience – rude and unfriendly staff, poor service, and tasteless, undercooked food.

Very good food. Fast and friendly service. But we were forced to pay a tip of 10%, even when we refused. Knowing from locals that it is not a custom.

You guys just say “I’m sorry the manager Helene was tired that day we will give her holidays so she can come back with better mood “. And that is! The more you are rude on here the more people can see that it was your fault, and that you will continue to treat others like that lol …. The first encounter with the service was with the manager and she was so rude. Bekim the waiter was nice at least he made the situation less unpleasant I thank him.

Sorry but this was an awful experience. The staff was rude and the food left me with a stomach ache. DON‘T COME HERE! I can’t believe they would put someone like Helena in a position where the rest of the staff calls her the boss bc she was the rudest of them all. When there was any feedback about the food the staff would discuss with us. I have truly never had an experience like this wow
