The experience was good, but I recommend it only if you have children. I was there with my girlfriend and we had fun, but we expected more excitement. The rooms are pretty small, but full of details and information and voice instructions. A little bit expensive 18 euro for after 15:00 clock and 20 euro for anytime of the day. Very big shopping center(the kind you can get lost in it)with a lot of things to see. You can find all the shops you want and they have few super-markets with good prices. Also if you go out on the Terrace you get a pretty nice view over the city.

Lots of closed places, mostly just mobile phones, shoes, senior clothes shops and a bubble tea shop, apart from the usual bakeries and some fast food shops. Curiously a large ice cream restaurant which remains open no matter what economic issues are thrown at it. The car parking is good though. Not expensive and gives you good access to the shops on the high street, which are mostly a repetition of the shops in the centre. Nice for a visit but you see most of it within the first half an hour. One thing I never could stand about bremerhaven though, all the damn vampires.

A steak ordered medium was almost well-done and more tough than it should have been. Overall, the food was oily and somewhat bland. Really interesting zoo placed at harbor area in Bremen Haven. Many animals and sea life are to see there and you need some time to come around and see everything. It is also possible to sit down and have a drink or buy some souvenirs.

I really enjoyed this visit. It was so cool to be able to bring our dog somewhere with us. We got some gorgeous photos of him here to remember our trip. The restaurant food was delicious and not too expensive. There are some really cool underwater viewing points for the seals and penguins. The seals were very entertaining and seemed to be having a lot of fun playing. The gift shop is very small and not much choice. I didn't realize there were polar bears here until I got here which I don't love. I probably wouldn't have come if I knew that, although, they will probably only exist in zoos by 2050 as I read on their display.

There were also seals, sea lions, penguins, and other cute creatures. There were plenty of descriptions of all the animals, as well as the threats some of their species face to their future. There was also an aquarium with a display of various marine animals, all well lit and dazzling to look at. The enclosures for some of the animals do look a bit small, but there do seem to be areas for them that you can't easily notice. There is the mandatory gift shop, but this is always good to purchase from as this helps the zoo. There is a good cafe as well, as well as good facilities. The zoo is nicely placed in a great setting which allows for great photos. It is also great for kids due to its size, and good fun. Highly recommended.

This place is probably my favorite museum to date. If you have ancestors who came from Europe you will probably enjoy this museum very much. I spent 6 hours just in the emigration portion and could have spent more. Ensure you save time for some research, if that interests you. I spent a little over an hour there and they chased me out at 6:00, closing time.

Excellent buffet. All freshly cooked and a huge choice. Its extremely popular with locals and rightly so. Staff were friendly and attentive. They managed to squeeze us in at 7.30pm on Wednesday so clearly a very popular restaurant. Food was good and can recommend.

The place is very chic, with local food, very well prepared, tasty and good. I am coeliac, the personal were attentive and prepared for any questions during plates ordination. On the other hand, the price is also high, at the same standard you eat. Good and expensive. For a special occasion worth it. To be improved, maybe the time of food preparation...(I mean, sometimes with kids is more difficult to wait) and, we asked a prosecco and received another wine, not even sparkling. Having a full wine wall inside, we thought they would be prepared. Again, maybe was only a random mistake...

It's horrible. This is all a very typical example of a tourist place killing a restaurant. People walk along the embankment, people come in anyway, there are a lot of tourists, so you don’t have to worry about quality. The second point is the lack of competition. The restaurant presents itself as a gourmet restaurant, and there are a couple of such restaurants in the city. Therefore, again, you don’t have to worry about quality - there is no competition. In any big city, such a restaurant would immediately go bankrupt with such a menu and such quality of service. I absolutely do not recommend it, terrible service, terrible quality and terrible prices.

The atmosphere was excellent. Service is so so due to language barrier. It was a busy restaurant but the waiter was attentive. The fish is delicious but I think the risotto was a bit raw. It would be a perfect dish if it is cook a bit longer. Lobster soup was ok, I prefer a slightly thicker version. The butter for bread was delicious. It was a wonderful date night , dessert was nice, sunny evening 🥰

Bit pricey/upscale but definitely one of the best, maybe even the best depending on your taste, restaurant(s) in Bremerhaven and surroundings. Food menu has a nice selection of seafood but rotates it's menu every other month so there's always something new. Their drinks are OK-ish, there is some room for improvement on the cocktail selection and quality\preparation, the Gin selection is 👌though. Seating is nice and cozy in the winter and has a *really* nice view of the harbor when sitting outside in the summer.

A heaven for sea enthusiasts, this museum covers all aspects of the maritime activities. The first part displays a Hanseatic cog, and tells the history of trade and seafaring in North Sea during the middle ages. The second part is focused on the modern history of shipping.

The museum is nice, I just wanted to highlight a surprising and misinformative bad mistake: who glued teeth on the upper jaw of the sperm whale?? Some wannabe artist?? Sperm whales have teeth on the LOWER jaw ONLY! 🙈

Interesting maritime museum Several ships you can go on board.. a tug, a whaling ship and a 1920s cargo and salvage boat that worked all over the world. There is a large steel sailing boat as well as U1 submarine from 1945. Inside there is a reconstruction of a medieval cog boat discovered in the estuary. Well presented and informative exhibition. €3 for the museum which includes entry to the ships outside. The submarine was €3. Plenty of parking nearby, restaurants and a big shopping centre close by that sells food. Great views of the estuary. Recommended

If you are fan of ships and other stuff related to vehicles that keep you from drowning while crossing big blue parts of our planet, there is very good chance you will like it here. With only 4€ price per person it is a bargain, and amount of information you can find on ships, food, equipment and other sailor things is pretty good. Information is mostly translated to English so that is also huge plus for non German speakers. Some of exhibits are interactive, there are sound presentations, mini theater and plenty of interactive things for children to enjoy, even driving remote controlled ships on a giant pool. I have been in a better museums, but few of them offer this good value for money.

Ok before you drive an hour or so for this beach, know that bathing is not allowed due to container ships and other boats. The tide messes up the beachfront as well so its a giant mudpit, fun for kids but maybe not what you expect. The beach has a Nice playground, showering, toilets etc. Also be aware it Costs money to enter, not alot. We paid 5 euro for 2 adults and 2 kids. Its for the maintenance etc.

There is a nice playground for kids just near the beach which is quite practical coz directly at the beach there are lots of broken glasses and a narrow sandpatch barely for walking. The bigger Maddy patch is also fun but maybe for adults only. For kids it gets abit too dip to walk in. But a fun activity as well. The restaurant staff are friendly and snacks are delivered on time. No crazy waiting times. There are also lots of parking spaces (paid) in case you come by car and the train station is also nearby. According to the maps it’s about 27 min walk from the location

Just a really refreshing and tasty burger joint. They had great beers and wonderful tasting burgers. Right on the Grand Platz and easily recognizable. The gentleman I had as a server spoke great English and was wonderful. Very extensive drinks and cocktails menu to accompany their excellent beer selection. Very nice place to walk around with friends and or family. There are some games for the kids as well as a lot of green spaces. There is small corner of the lake where you can bath your feet. During summer season, you can do a mini golf or rent a boat to go on the lake. Toilet facilities seem to be closed in winter and I find it very inconvenient. The scenery is nice. Good place to jog as well (if you can).

Dazu kommt, das es bei den Experimenten und physikalischen Phänomenen keinerlei Erklärung gibt (warum funktioniert es so wie es funktioniert) Das Personal vor Ort (2 ältere Herren) wirkte ein wenig überfordert und auch genervt und war durch die Geburtstagsgruppe so weit eingespannt das man als normaler Gast keine Fragen zu Experimenten stellen konnte. Also alles in allem OK aber auch schade. Von der Umsetzung her wäre bestimmt mehr raus zu holen, aber vielleicht haben wir auch nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt und es wird das nächste Mal besser wenn wir alle Attraktionen sehen dürfen.

Service was terrible. Our primary waiter was nice enough and helpful at first. After our food came we didn’t see him again for well over an hour. After tracking someone down (twice), in an attempt to order coffee and get out leftovers wrapped, an angry busser came and loudly stacked our plates declaring that our silverware wasn’t positioned correctly to cue the servers we were done. The salad was literally swimming in dressing and the fish was unremarkable. Would not recommend primarily because of the terrible service and pissy busser but the food was nothing to write home about either, especially considering the price-point.
