Caldea Spa

Thermal baths
Spa
Caldea Spa, located in Les Escaldes adjacent to Andorra la Vella, is the largest thermal spa in Southern Europe. It opened in 1994 and is renowned for its naturally high-temperature thermal waters rich in minerals. The spa features indoor and outdoor thermal pools, saunas, jacuzzis, solariums, and exclusive spaces for both adults and children. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing experience with various health benefits from the geothermal activity of the area's waters.
Magnificent would be an understatement. The building is the cities centerpiece! The view surrounding the town will take your breath away but the building gives you an opportunity to grasp the cities unique natural spring and spa with the view! Inside is like an oasis and paradise. There are different chambers with hot and cold pools and they have 2 separate saunas, one a little smaller and a bit more intimate. My personal favorite was the hot steam room! There are fountains with cold water to cool yourself while you relax in the steam room. It was very blissful and relaxing! They also had massages and a hydro massage room with multiple stalls. Lockers were included, very spacious with family sized lockers as well. Showers and restrooms were clean and easy to navigate. The upstairs restaurant was affordable and delicious! They offered a special while I was there on a Sunday and I even got a discount on drinks which were similar prices to Spain and France. I would definitely suggest taking a trip here to see one of their many pools and accommodations. I mentioned many but there are plenty more accommodations!

🛸 Ever bathed in mountain spring water sourced from 2000 meters up? Sounds dreamy, right? Well, hold your horses—by the time it reaches you, it’s generously seasoned with chlorine. You’ll walk out smelling like an Olympic swimming pool, skin dry enough to sand furniture. 🌊😅 But jokes aside, the place itself is impressive: spacious, super clean (think NASA lab standards), and stunning views of the mountains. 🏔️ Summertime was chill, but rumor has it winter turns this place into a human traffic jam. ❄️🙈 Quick tips nobody mentions at the entrance: 1. Forget your flip-flops—barefoot is mandatory, unless you splurge €3.50 for stylish anti-fungal socks. 🦶🏻🍄 2. Underground parking is a sneaky €8 for just 3 hours. Instead, opt for the open lot just 50 meters away (cheaper and less annoying). 🚗👌🏼 Bottom line: Great experience with a few chlorine-flavored catches. Come prepared, and embrace your new poolside perfume! 😂✌🏼

It's an average spa. Nothing too special. What I liked the most was the massage. It was good, Diana did a great job. What I disliked was the lack of a normal swimming pool, the scarcity of a jacuzzi to lie back and how complicated orienting yourself around was. It is like a maze. Also, if you don't speak Spanish unfortunately, I would not come back. Also, I don't think they will have a hard time talking with you. o not recommend getting the premium pass - it is not worth it.

I paid 48 euros and had the worst experience. The staff refused me to take a bath because it wasn't a swimsuit I was wearing, and they were too lazy to explain why. So I still don't know where the problem lies with this swimsuit. I bought the attached photo of the swimsuit for 50 euros at a department store. It's just after I took a shower so it's wet, but it dries very well. I wear this one at Marina Bay Sands and Four Seasons pools,I also went to a public hot spring in Budapest, but I have never been refused a bath. My friends have never told me this swimsuit looks unsanitary. As a result, I ended up paying 48 euros and just watching the bath. It's the most ridiculous experience of the year. If your facility has such interesting strict rules, please check the swimsuits at the first reception desk.

A Wellness Escape in the Heart of Andorra – 5 Stars for sure Caldea Spa is absolutely breathtaking! From the moment you walk in, you're transported to a serene world of warmth, water, and relaxation. The design of the spa is modern. with incredible views of the mountains that make the experience even more special. The thermal waters are amazing — whether you're floating in the lagoon, enjoying the bubbling jacuzzis, or unwinding in the outdoor baths under the sky. Every corner feels thoughtfully created to help you fully relax. The contrast between the warm waters and the cool mountain air is an unforgettable sensation. The staff are friendly and professional, everything is spotlessly clean, and the overall atmosphere is calm and rejuvenating. If you're visiting Andorra, Caldea is an absolute must. It's the perfect way to unwind after skiing, hiking, or just exploring the town. I left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already planning my next visit. Highly recommended!

This is truly the best spa in Andorra — both for the quality of the facilities and the professionalism of the staff. Everyone was welcoming, courteous, and highly professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The spa offers three options: Classic, Classic Plus, and Premium. We chose the Premium option and highly recommend it. With Premium, you have access to all zones, which allows you to fully enjoy the four hours included in your session. Between the jacuzzis, hammams, saunas, shower rituals, and more, there is plenty to discover. If you only take the Classic or Classic Plus option, you might run out of things to do more quickly, so Premium is absolutely worth it. You can also book a professional massage, which we did — the result was excellent. One of the highlights is the beautiful rooftop areas with stunning views of the Pyrenees mountains. No matter which option you choose, you’ll enjoy these breathtaking panoramas. In the Classic Plus area, there are also fun “fruit pool” zones where you can even take selfies using your electronic bracelet. Be sure to pick up your photos before returning your bracelet at the end, as they’re stored under your ID — otherwise you’ll lose access. The photos are paid, so check the price beforehand. If you want to capture your own moments, smartphones or GoPros are fine, but we recommend using waterproof protection to keep your devices safe. The spa is also well equipped for guests with reduced mobility, with adapted showers, lockers, and access to all areas. The only small detail to keep in mind is that most of the staff speak Spanish; for French or English, you might need to use Google Translate. However, they are so polite and professional that communication is never a real problem. Overall, an outstanding spa experience. We truly enjoyed every minute, will gladly come back on our next visit to Andorra, and give this establishment a well-deserved 5 stars!

came here with my family of 5, we went for the premium package, we all really enjoyed! we recommend the premium package, more expensive than the others, obviously, but so worth it. the staff were amazing, a man helped us at the start and his name was manlolo, he was amazing, we also met a young lady who we think her name was wila, she helped us get the photos off of our wristband. lots of photo opportunities so don’t forget a phone. brilliant experience!

Centre Comercial Illa Carlemany is a top destination for a shopping spree, featuring high-end brands, chain stores, a cinema, and various dining options. Visitors can explore the center to find souvenirs for loved ones. Recent visitors have praised the mall's ideal layout, impeccable cleanliness, and friendly staff at the stores. While some wished for more variety in certain items, overall recommendations highlight the enjoyable retail experience.
Just had an amazing time at Illa Carlemany! 🌟 The layout is super easy to navigate, and I found everything I needed without any hassle. The staff at the stores were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made my shopping experience even better. Plus, the place was spotless! Can’t wait to go back! 🛍️

A tiny shopping center in a tiny principality of a country that has all in one parking, car wash, dry cleaning, shoe repair, making copies of keys, clothes alterations, a supermarket, restaurants, a book shop, cinema, shoes, electronics, jewelry, a pharmacy, then clothing shops of different brands…convenient to get ski pass from Grandvalira stand. Customer service from shops could be better, more attentive, more friendly and pleasant. Toilet is smelly with some dirty stalls. Nice Christmas lights though. Giving it a 4 instead of a 5 stars for the dirty bathroom.

The menu features a variety of robust meat dishes, burgers, and fresh fish options. It's an ideal spot to enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
5 nights in Andorra and saved the best to last. Absolutely incredible. The food was top. Miguel looked after us so well. House wine was amazing. A definite place to come next time we are in town.

It started as a great night, the gentleman in the reception it was very pleasant and helped us find a table for our family. Although, the gentleman that served us it seemed very cold, stressed at the end of our meal bumped to my wife and not apologised. We were slightly disappointed because it could be a better experience and not what you would expect from this type of restaurant. Also, for our daughter of one year old we order from the kids menu, some boiled pasta that charged us 18,00€ and about 3/4 strawberries for dessert 13.00€ seemed a bit excessive to be honest. Our food it was more elaborate and better price. It doesn’t make sense. But the food it tasted good and the environment in the restaurant it was great.

Excellent Tapas and wine selection. Cozy ambiance . The carnonara had very liquidy sauce so we wouldnt recomment it. But overall it was a wonderful experience.

One of the best restaurants I have been in. Do not miss this gem, perfect for a nice romantic dinner! We each had a paella and it was 10/10. We were also served 2x complimentary glasses of cava which made the night even better. The staff is incredibly polite, attentive and sweet. Would definitely come back on my next visit to Andorra!

Apparently it was recently renovated and it usef to look a lot more spirited and I honestly wish it were still that way even though I didn’t see it in thats state but despite the fanciness it still feels very welcoming and pleasant to be here :)! The food was really good but the service was out of this world. José did an amazing job and recommended us different fish based on who we thought we were as people and he was directly on the nose. He said for me that I seem like someone who doesn’t like to work so I should get the rapé… He was very very right. Very funny and friendly! Really loved experiencing this place :)

Massive space for groups of all sizes, yet the place has a charming and warm ambient. Big menu also, with set menus during working days also, some exquisite dishes included, although not all of them perfectly executed (e.g. bravas or trinxat can improve). A bit overpriced though, but good overall. They do -unofficially- accept dogs as well, so it is a plus. Illustration: set menu for 25€ Labels: 2Eat, #mediterranean, #seafood, #groups, #terrace

Siam Shiki is a delightful culinary destination that showcases the vibrant and diverse flavors of Asian cuisine. With dishes steeped in tradition, this restaurant offers an array of tantalizing options such as tempura prawns, tuna tartare, and chicken soup infused with coconut milk and galanga. Diners can also savor stir-fried beef with basil or indulge in the popular Pad Kee Mao noodles. The ambiance is enhanced by unique decor elements like a fish tank, creating an inviting atmosphere for guests.
Really great food and atmosphere, the fish tank, the design and service were on point! We tried the Spicy Tuna Maki which was delicious! The Phad Kee Mao Noodles and Phat Phet Phed, although it said it would be 2 chilly spicy on the menu, it wasn’t really spicy, we had to ask for extra spicy. Maybe asking to make the dishes as original thai dishes would’ve been a good idea! Anyway, the service was really fast and great, the waitress was very kind and attentive. We really enjoyed the idea of putting a little candle under the curry to keep it warm during the dinner. Little details that make a big difference in the experience! [Price: 52€ for 2 people]

Beautiful setting and delicious food, at a fantastic price. Especially the vegetarian and vegan options! This was the best place we ate in Andorra. Hans was friendly, knowledgeable, and the perfect level of attentive. We had a wonderful lunchtime experience after a few hours at the Caldea spa next door. Thank you staff!
Katie R — Google review
The food was delicious. Particularly the Pad Kee Mao! However, the service made us feel quite unwelcome. They let us in "as a favor" and asked us to make reservations in the future, while the place was 75% empty throughout our lunch. The server treated us as an annoyance, with weird comments about English/Spanish translations. Additionally, they didn't speak Catalan. Still, a worthwhile place to grab food before/after a good Caldea session!

Super nice service and INCREDIBLE food! Nigiri de salmon flambeado to die for, avocado and shrimp salad, spicy tuna makis, chicken curry, the yucca and mango dessert are yummy! The best restaurant in Andorra, great variety!!! The salmon is out of this world, it literally melts in your mouth. Anytime we are here, we go!

We got takeout here after spending the evening at the spa. The food was ok. It's obviously food that's altered to suit the local palate. The chicken yakitori we ordered was pretty good. The Thai curry dish was not bad either. But the yakisoba and one other Thai noodle dish that we ordered were pretty mediocre. However the portion was good and the food hit the spot after a long exhausting day.

Ordered hamburger and their special potatos. The hamburger was ok, not bad but not something that blew my mind, the hamburger was coocked to medium and with some juice so I can give them that. The toppings were ok. The potatos were quiet flavorless on their own but their sauce made it different, the amount was generous. The waiter was nice and they have wifi, the atmosphere was good, probably better in the evening or more busy hours. The prices were a little bit pricy for what you get but not too high. Overall, this is decent place to eat if you are in the area and craving for hamburger, you should go and try

Restaurant
HINCHA - MIM Andorra is a spectacular restaurant located on Avda. Meritxell in Andorra. The place offers top-notch food and service, making it a must-visit when in Andorra. Visitors praise the attentive staff who provide excellent recommendations and assistance. The quality of the food is outstanding, with dishes like lobster ravioli and tableside-prepared carbonara pizza receiving high praise.
We loved the place, ordered the famous Messi's macaroni and some other stuff. Everything was delicious and not really pricey.
Hrisio B — Google review
The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere, but that is all, totally overpriced for what it offers! Had just a really good Steak Tartar and white wine, but … mains for me and my friends, no flavor at all, Messi’s granny pasta it was a disaster, hard pasta and burned at the top, with no flavor meat inside, all 5 pasta dishes coming same way, skip that for sure! Meat selections with items out of stock, chosen one, came a bit out of the cooking point desired and boring flavor! Now, the worst for sure is that ball desert, we got the big one for 50€, what a mistake, it for a chocolate shaped ball with cheap filling, even popcorn, we ate 1 third of it I left the rest. If the food is boring and you want to have some fun, go to the toilet! It’s funny to see people there struggling to figure out how to get in/out. Just a bit of fun to distract you from your poor meal.

3rd time visiting Hincha whilst in Andorra. The 1st two times we went during lunch. The 3rd time for dinner. Each time we took an extensive menu. - About the food: everytime it was very delicious. This time as well. Although I should mention that it's fun for the kids to pay extra for the chocolate football. But beware: the inside isn't gastronomic or fine at all. It's a chaotic mix of choclate mouses, popcorn, peacan nuts,... Bummer in comparison with the high level of primary courses. - About the drinks: we asked for a menu with adapted wines this time (since it was mentioned on a poster in the elevator). No one knew what we were talking about. Nor were we recommended suitable wines for each course. - About the staff: Flexible when it comes to kids. Furthermore very friendly staff members although things felt very rushy this time. It wasn't a relaxed experience in comparison with previous times. Small sidenote: they charge you for 'complimentary olives and focaccia bread'. A bit weird on this level of restaurisation when comparing with our other experiences with restaurants across Europe on this level.

The state of the art on tourist traps. From the uncomfortable seating (to avoid guests overstaying their welcome) to the prohibitively expensive cuts of meat. This restauranteur naturally will rather rely on a name and expensive products as opposed to taking any risks in the kitchen. All the operating costs tuned for the optimal performance. From the salary of the young cook handling the 300€ steak to the community manager’s miserable compensation for reading through this. I found this restaurant an insult to the hospitality industry, specially after taking over the emblemating location Casa Canut was. Anyway, yes, the food was perfectly inoffensive.

Bluefin tuna tartare with avocado was a bit salty but okay. The burger in the photo was ordered for a kid and requested to be well done. Ravioli with lobster is highly not recommended. There were three okayish pieces of lobster outside and some brown disgusting substance inside.

I was not expecting much for this footballer owned restaurant but they still managed to disappoint me ! The burger comes with cold buns, no burger sauce but rather an industrial mayonnaise, 2 slices of tomatoes salad and allegedly caramelised onions, the cheese is not melted everything is between cold and luke warm …very unpleasant when you are eating a so called “gourmet burger” They will make sure that your mustard and mayo come when you are finished… Prices are materially above any Andorran and European standards with a pathetic burger priced at 22€ plus 6€ for a bowl of fries A place to be avoided at almost all costs Many other much better alternative around at a fraction of the price. A waste of my lunch!
Tibo C — Google review
Overrated restaurant. While the pizzas are decent, they’re not worth the high prices. The service is subpar and fails to justify the cost. The wine prices are over three times the retail value, which feels like a scam in this country. There are far better options to explore elsewhere.
Ariadna B — Google review
One of the worst meals I can remember. It started badly and only got worse. The focaccia was so dry it was almost impossible to swallow, like chewing cardboard in the desert. The carbonara pasta was nauseating. It was greasy and heavy, with a taste that made me want to stop eating after the first bite. I ordered the beef medium, but it was completely raw inside. Not rare, raw. The béarnaise sauce had separated entirely and was just a puddle of tasteless, melted butter. I ordered the steak for one person, but they never asked how much I wanted and brought out a 500 gram piece of raw meat. I told the waitress about my experience, and she didn’t apologize or offer any solution. She just asked if I wanted to eat the rest of it. Honestly, I wouldn’t have eaten it if someone paid me. A truly awful experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
