Terrible rules of the shopping mall. They put a bicycle stand to a place where there is no place to sit next to it. Me and my friend are bike packers therefore have all our belongings hanging on a bicycle. While one was shopping the other one had to stand half an hour at the sun without an ability to sit anywhere in a shade. The security guy didn’t let us to put our bicycles anywhere closer to the shop despite there were plenty of motorcycles standing next to the benches.
Terrible experience ! They have water bowls for the dogs but treat people terribly! How nice!
Almost the biggest shopping mall in Samsun city - Turkey, with the availability of most brands in.
The upper level is mostly food court in addition to some toys brands there.
The remaining levels contain different clothes, kitchen, furniture and etc. brands.
You'll find what you need surely.
The prices are acceptable specially if you visit it during discount seasons.
Like other shopping malls, it has a very huge car parking space.
You can have an amazing shopping, have a great meal and enjoy a movie all in one place
Big mall and contains many coffee shops and restaurants. Good that they specialized in an outdoor setting area, where you are able to drink your coffee with beautiful views of the sea and city.
Lots of brands, location is exactly at Piazza tram stop and fantastic balcony of the restaurant which has a sea view of the the Black Sea.
If you have a car higher than 2.1m you won’t be able to park inside the parking lot.

The best and largest supermarket in samsun, it's almost impossible not to find what you want there. All the ingredients that you need for Chinese, Indian, Italian, tukish and American cuisine. Also clothes, home and office applicants. Take my advise and visit it, you'll be surprised.

Bandırma ferry is a must-see attraction in Samsun, Turkey. It's a replica of the 19th-century steam freighter that carried Atatürk from Constantinople to Samsun, marking the beginning of everything on May 19, 1919. The ship has been converted into a museum and is open for tourists to visit. Inside, there's a great exhibition featuring some original possessions from Atatürk.

"The Bandirma boat which a fulfilled a very significant role on the the way to independent Turkish republic, has taken its unique place in the history by taking Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, as the 9th army inspector, and his eighteen friends to Samsun.
The Bandirma boat was built as a passenger and cargo ship in 1878 in Scotland under the name of "Torocaderto" and wad operated for five years by a company.
The Bandirma boat was used as a cargo vessel under the name of " Panderma" registered in Ottoman maritime administration ( idare-i Mahusa), bu a greek shipowner from 1893- 1910.
The Bandirma boat 9th army inspector Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and his 18 friends on board from Istanbul and arrived to Samsun on 19 May 1919. It served as a mail steamer the on. The Bandirma boat was out of service in 1925 and later it was dismantled.
A genuine model of the Bandirma boat with its original size (47.70 m x 6.83m. x 4.27m.) was built by the Governorship of Samsun. Its environmental arrangement was realized by the Samsun Governorship and Samsun Metropol Municipality."

A must see place for all Turkish citizens and foreign visitors to understand the basics of the Turkish war of independence that started in 1919. You can see the unique documents on British Invasion of Turkey and Mustafa Kemal's will to resist.

It is a big park with lots of different kind of trees in it. There are sports equipment in public usage and walking trail across a couple kilometers. If you want to do morning sport or evening walk you can prefer this park and enjoy your day.

Nice park. Came for the May 19th celebration which included the jet show. It was very impressive, if not quite loud. Youngsters should bring ear protection, but I didn't see any of the sort. The park seems large and nice but I haven't explored much.
If you ever felt depressed or stressed and you want a place to make you feel better and breathe, take my advice and visit this park. And if you like to spend a nice time with your family or your friends, it is also the perfect place. There is a small Cafe, bathroom, kids playgrounds, football field, basketball area. Have some rest out there and forget about everything ❤
Great place for lonely person, family, & kids. There are several things you can do there. Enjoying the sea view, some ice cream, amazon small museum, and playground for kids.
Ataturk Started his movement from here. Very nice Park along the Sea.. His Ship Bandirma is there and many others historical thinking and Statues. Further ship is converted to a museum and open for tourists to visit. Samsun city have so many statues of Ataturk, his companions and Army. I enjoyed alot samsun atmosphere too.

The museum was really interested. Museum personal allow to take your reminder photo. There was Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s and his friends about a lot of information.

It is a free museum, no charge at all. It contains personal stuff belong to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Well organized museum and well explanation about stuff. I highly recommend. It is located at downtown and parking is really tight. I recommend you to use public transportation to the travel Veteran Museum.

Maybe this the most friendly and nice staff I have dealt with in Samsun.
They serve only Cag kebab with starters and bread. One by one till u ask them to stop. For Arab people it’s similar to Mshakik

I tried Cağ kebap several times in Istanbul and now in Samsun, I decided to try it again at this restaurant. The restaurant is clean and has a welcoming atmosphere with its inside and outside serving places. The service is very good and quick. The Cag kebap which serves with four small dishes of onion, yogurt, salad and peper mix tasted good and fresh. They offered a cay after the food. Good place to visit.

Food and service are good, but the price is exaggerated.
My experience at Pecko Firin in Ilkadam Samsun was quite disappointing. The place was incredibly crowded, and most of the available spaces were designated for smokers. For non-smokers like me who wanted to enjoy a meal without the scent of smoke, the only option was to sit near the restroom. Unfortunately, this meant having to endure unpleasant sewer odors every time the restroom door opened. This environment was far from appetizing. I ultimately chose not to dine there, as I didn't want to contend with the overwhelming smell of cigarettes and the unsavory sewage scent during my meal. Instead, I opted to eat elsewhere.

North side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the north side side of town. Start the day off with Amisos Hill, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Onur Anıtı. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Nice place to visit and spend sometime walking and viewing the city. Tickets are free for the park, however you need to pay for the Teleferik. Unfortunately, no bathrooms are available in the location
It's a good place to have a rest. But, you know, if the restaurant had working, it would be much better. Now you can't spend much time here: it's just no where. But it's really good place for sightseeing and taking photo. Oh, and it's also a place for children to play: but, again, not now, cos it's many building materials here.
The cable car was not working and not so much to do, just restaurants, toilet and a very short walk around.
It is a quiet nice place, when u come home after a long day, it would be pleasure to have a cup of Turkish coffee there and enjoy the beautiful view.
There was a very nice restaurant, but I found it closed. There was repair work going on, and I found the cable car closed at 6:45 p.m. I don’t know why I visited it on Saturday.

Nice little shopping mall with a couple of trendy coffee shops inside , the place is classy with a big migros store inside. Big parking space outside and under ground, just next to the beach and a wonderful walking area. There are many restaurants and coffee shops around the area.

Nice amusement park for kids with lots of things to play & trampoline.
Also there is a nice green land in the park were you can set & enjoy.
Infront of it there is huge place near the port were you can find lots of restaurants & you can enjoy the walk along the port .
We had fun. Mostly the place is for kids but some young people can also find the toys useful for themselves. Visit and have fun!

Nice place to visit if in Samsun. The first place Ataturk visited after a sojourn outside the county. The scene is recreated on the pier.

A nice place to have a breathe of fresh air and to escape the choas of the city centre within walking distance. It is a place we go to practise social distancing in a relaxing atmosphere with the family. It is a pity that the lake isn't as clean as it used to be.
If you want to spend a nice, and quiet day, then Love Lake is the place to go. The gardens surrounding it would embrace you to a realm of joy, the air is full of refreshing scents of flowers and trees, the sky is pure and looking at it gives you the sensation that the world is still a good place, and humanity isn't so doomed. Once you walk by the lake, you'll see people walking, horses, and dogs. The water is so crisp and clear, you would see the jellyfish resting calmly. Walk few more miles and big ships will start to appear.
Personally, I bring tea and my favorite book, and sit on the benches facing the lake; A thing I do quite often when I visit Samsun, and I miss whenever I leave.
The only thing that would make this place even more charming, is bringing a loved one. It's indeed a wonderful place.
I visited there in the middle of the day, but it would be nicer if you go there at sunset, you can ride a bike or a horse and watch the views.

Worst club I've ever seen. Some 10 min dance music, immediate changes between songs and suddenly stops and people start karaoke Turkish traditional pop that is not possible to dance. Literally disgusting unbearable music taste. Also Self service which doesn't even matter a thing.

This is the first Turkish restaurant I have been to on my trip from Tbilisi to Istanbul. The manager is very friendly and helpful even when i cannot speak turkish! The food was great, I had one pide with 3 meats and egg, and the rice pudding. The restaurant has a proper oven so the bread is very tasty.
With its speciality of Bafra-pide, we tried this place fir the first time and it was a good choice! However, their lentil soap was mediocre.
Pide was excellent, crunchy on the sides and baked fresh in front of you. The place feels simple and welcoming, with old photos on the walls adding charm. Staff were kind and friendly, and the rice pudding with hazelnuts stood out as a must try.

We visited this Pideci on our first night in Samsun and ordered the Harman (a couple of cheeses mixed with egg, parsley and some butter.
It was so good, we ended up coming again the next night and had the Sujuklı pide (cheese and spicy sawsage slices)
The pide dough is soooooooooo crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside (exactly as it should be) aside from the fact that the mixes are exactly as salty and spiced as needed.
As for our sweet tooth, we satisfied it with a Sutlaç (milk and rice pudding) with a generous topping of crushed hazelnuts! Yum!
Simple, affordable, clean and super tasty. Staff is very friendly. Pide is delicious. Also you should try rice pudding with hazelnut!
