A very impressive view. Plan on going 5 to 7 pm so that the sun is shining in the best direction, and there are no tour boats in the bay to detract from the amazing nature in your photos. The walk back is up a steep hill, so only try it if you are in condition enough to handle it. I would NOT recommend bringing young children because you will probably have to carry them up the hill back to your car, and the viewing point is too dangerous for them.

Navagio Viewpoint is hands-down the most jaw-dropping coastal view I’ve ever seen, so breathtaking that I visited twice—once at sunset and once during the day. Each time felt like stepping into a completely different world! During the day, the turquoise waters of Shipwreck Beach shimmer in 50 shades of blue, revealing every vibrant detail, while at sunset, the scene transforms into a warm, golden spectacle that’s pure magic. I could also see and hear wild goats in the distance, their calls echoing through the cliffs, adding a raw, wild charm to the experience. The best views come just beyond the official barriers, where the scenery is even more spectacular, but extreme caution is needed—there are photos commemorating several people who tragically lost their lives here, so stay safe and avoid risky areas near the cliff edge. The sheer beauty of the scene, framed by lush greenery and dramatic cliffs, left me speechless—it’s an absolute must-see in Zakynthos. The viewpoint is easily accessible by car, with a small parking area nearby, but it gets crowded, so arrive early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the rush and enjoy the view in peace. A tip: bring a camera or phone with a good zoom to capture the shipwreck details, and watch your step near the edge, as the drop is steep with only a basic fence for safety in the main area. There’s a small snack bar nearby for drinks, but it’s pricey, so pack your own water. Highly recommend visiting both at sunset and during the day for two unforgettable perspectives of this iconic spot!

Amazing views if you walk past the gate. Some dude started yelling at people and telling them, "get back. Don't you understand that Zakynthos is an earthquake island". Well, if an earthquake hits, it won't matter what side of the fence you're on. Regardless, this spot lacked a lot, tons of trash, too many people, etc... If you want to have the best experience, rent a boat to see Navagio Beach!!

The place needs a bit of a workout. Installing some bins would be ideal for uneducated tourists as there are lots of bottles and rubbish at the edge of the cliff. And the fence should have a different design as it stops you from seeing much. Good parking lot but when crowded probably it is a problem.

First of all: The actual view is beautiful. Everything else - such as getting to that view - problematic. Just be aware of that. I can recommend getting there between 9:30 and 10:30. Not too crowded, parking possible. There is one big parking spot - if that one is full you can park on the side of the street. There are some shops where you can get ice cream or drinks. From the „legal“ path its basically impossible to get a nice view. And we all want that perfect photo. So sadly there is no real way but to go a bit beside the fence (safely!) to get a quick look. Obviously its very crowded but worth a visit anyways!

This is one of the most famous beaches in Greece! It's on many postcards! The actual beach is now closed for visitors because of safety concerns as the cliffs have been collapsing recently. The view point is amazing! They have built a safe path to it! The views from there are just stunning 🤩!!! Highly recommend visiting! It can get busy so you need to get lucky otherwise just a bit of wait till your turn 👍. There are couple of coffee shops where you can get refreshments and ice-cream and have it while enjoying the stunning views.

The beach is beautiful with crystal blue waters and white sand, but it's totally overrated. Also, there are minimum 5 boats in the bay at every time. Since 2024, there are regulations from the Greek Government to not let anyone go on the beach or swim nearby because of falling cliffs (and you can see rocks that fell on the beach on the sides). You can only stay on the boat as they will turn for 15 minutes in the bay, then go to another spot if they have swimming spots included.

Always wanted to see this since I was a kid. Finally nice to have ticked it off. Shipwreck is cool but the amount of tourists is insane. Do prepare yourself for that. Best to hire your own boat for the trip as it will be more enjoyable. I would do that next time.

Lovely viewpoint, very small area open to be able to take a picture. The queue for the viewpoint platform took about 40 mins. They are doing work in the area so may be better next year. Well worth the wait though, probably best to see from a boat tour.

Closed to public from 2023 due to limestone landslide, no access to it by car, the viewpoint gets a bit busy, it’s a 10 min walk to the furthest point. Views are incredible. This famous cove can only be reached by boat, and you cannot go ashore because of the shipwreck remains on the beach. Still, the view of the dramatic cliffs and turquoise water is absolutely breathtaking, and swimming in the crystal-clear sea right from the boat is an unforgettable experience. It is definitely a tourist hotspot and can get very crowded, as it’s one of the most iconic places in Zakynthos. Despite that, the scenery is so unique that it’s worth seeing at least once. Floating in the water with the shipwreck and cliffs in the background is something you won’t easily forget. A good tip is to visit during the week rather than weekends, as it tends to be slightly less busy. There are no facilities here, so come prepared — but that’s part of the adventure. Overall, a must-see location in Zakynthos for the incredible views and experience in the water.

It's definitely a must-see, but it's impossible to reach by land. The stunning color of the sea and the ship create a wonderful blend. However, going to the beach and swimming in this area is dangerous and forbidden because rocks can fall from the mountains. But I definitely recommend visiting by boat to see the scenery.

Absolutely gorgeous place to swim from ,once boats have left,although I can imagine it being very busy in peak season.there is a makeshift board to dive into the crystal clear waters where we watched a pod of dolphins fishing. There are a fair amount of steps to traverse, so only go if you're able bodied. At the top there are 2 large carparks and eating places.

One of the best spots on the island, when the sun enters the caves, a very unique effect is visible, the water inside the caves hits the rocks and turns into ice blue before splashing back. This effect is only reserved for your own eyes, cameras are unable to capture it. 100% worth a visit!

One of the nicest spots in Zante, visited from the windmill stair that goes down directly to the sea. Can be crowded and filled with boats depending on the day/time, better be there early in the morning.

Visited the Blue Caves with Michael travel tours. It took around 5 hours and we visited Shipwreck beach also. It was one of the shorter tours but I still enjoyed.

It's truly remarkable to stand before a tree over 2,000 years old, steeped in such rich history. There's a small square nearby where parking is convenient. The area is bustling with charming local shops offering a variety of delicious, authentic local products. A must-visit spot to experience both nature and local culture!

The oldest tree of the island. Visiting it is for free. There are stores next to it that provides according products, so if you are interested in that, there’s probably something that you could visit too. The way this tree has grown towards every possible direction is incredible. It is worth a short stop to have a look.

Such a unique place! The ancient olive tree is fascinating and makes you feel part of history. The locals here are incredibly kind, offering homemade olive oil, honey, and other specialties. We loved our visit and left with both souvenirs and great memories.

The Old Olive Tree is not much to see. It doesn’t have the infrastructure or feel of a historic relic – it’s basically a large olive tree surrounded by many souvenir shops trying to sell their products. Very touristy.

It's an interesting place, but once you've seen all the olive trees on the island, it's not that impressive. But the fact that this tree is over two thousand years old gives you food for thought.

4.5 is a fair rate for this beach. It’s super picturesque with torques clear water. Great place for snorkeling. By the way, there is a rental spot for scuba diving and snorkeling. We also have had a great experience of searching and catching for crabs (I have released them subsequently). The only drawback was its overcrowds and dirtiness on the ground (mostly from smoking).

Absolutely gorgeous beach and one of my favorites. Very good for snorkeling and it has shallow waters as well, it's gradual and it's ranging from 30cm to 5-6m or above. It's not suitable for kids since you can't really sunbathe and it's kinda hard for kids to reach the shallow water zone.

The nearby taverna offers sunbeds for a small fee (around €5-6 for a set with an umbrella) and serves delicious food with amazing views—perfect for a post-swim meal. Arrive early to snag a sunbed and enjoy the tranquil vibe before it gets busy. The sunset here is pure magic, making Porto Limnionas a must-visit for nature lovers and those seeking a serene escape!

A lot of empty bottles, cigarettes and other trash around. Nevertheless you must check it out 🫡 There are some cold streams in the water and different depths for different goals. Also you may rent diving equipment here. Hard to get into the water. The beach has jumping spot ~3-4m

A lovely, long sandy beach lined with plenty of bars and restaurants along the way,perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. The water was shallow, clear, and great for swimming or just cooling off. We really enjoyed our trip here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful spot with good amenities nearby.

Busy yet lovely sandy beach. The sea is a few meters from your sunbed (should you wish to rent one... 10 for 2 and umbrella) and as smooth as a pond. The beach bars are reasonably priced for a snack. A view to enjoy and if you like planes, a good spot yo see them come in to land!!

We really enjoyed this beach overall. Water was clean and very shallow for kids to play. Beach was fairly clean from what we saw with many Restaurants and Beach Bars near by as well as some water activities for rent as well. We’d definitely return here again some day.

Laganas Beach is a wide sandy beach with shallow and clear waters, perfect for swimming and relaxing. The area is lively, with many bars, restaurants, and water sports options, so there is always something to do. It can get crowded, especially during peak season, but the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. A great spot if you enjoy long walks by the sea, good food nearby, and a mix of relaxation and entertainment.

The photos are taken after a storm. The beach is covered with sand and a few clams. You don't need special shoes for going into the sea as the first meters are with sand and clams, but after that it's only sand. There are multiple restaurant/beach clubs which offer sunbeds for 10 euro/person, drinks not included.

Well the setting is absolutely stunning, the taverna is located in a very beautiful location. We arrived just before 10am and there was ample parking in the car park (we visited at the end of June), the drive down is on a windy narrow road. There are terraced areas with sunloungers and cabanas that take in the wonderful views of the coastline, these cost us 30 euro for 3. A cabana is 40 euro. The loungers are comfortable and there is plenty of shade. You need to get here fairly early as by 11am all of the loungers were taken. You can order food and drinks to you seat, from the friendly young staff. We did notice one of the more senior members of staff constantly shouting at the young staff which seemed unnecessary and wasn't very relaxing. The sea here is beautiful but it can be quite chilly, beach shoes are ideal to climb in and out off the rocks. Unfortunately there is no shower to wash off after swimming in the sea. The toilets were good in the morning but needed a clean by about 3pm. The taverna served very tasty food but the service wasn't great, we felt rushed even though the place was only half full. We spoke to senior staff as there was a slight problem with the card transaction and they were very unhelpful, which was a shame. This place has the potential to be a 5 🌟 location but I feel the service let's it down.

The setting at Porto Limionas is absolutely stunning the views and crystal clear waters are by far the highlight and worth the visit on their own. We booked a cabana which was comfortable and gave us a great spot to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, the lady who greeted us came across as quite condescending and even a little rude, which was not the warm welcome we were hoping for. The waiter who looked after us later was genuinely kind and attentive, which made a big difference, but sadly this wasn’t consistent with the rest of the staff. The waitress we interacted with also seemed unfriendly and dismissive. As for the drinks the cocktails were disappointing for the price. Given the location and cost, we expected better quality and balance in the flavors. Overall, Porto Limionas is worth a stop for the breathtaking views and waters, but the tavern itself really needs to improve on both service and drinks to match the beauty of its surroundings.

Beautiful bay, but very disappointing service We only wanted to have a coffee and a glass of water during lunchtime, but unfortunately, the staff was unfriendly and dismissive from the start. We didn’t receive any sweetener with the coffee, and when I politely asked for it, their attitude became even worse – as if we were bothering them. The bay itself is absolutely beautiful, but the poor atmosphere made us decide not to stay for a swim. We waited over 30 minutes for the coffee, which was overpriced and not even good. Several other guests around us were also complaining about their lunch, so we didn’t feel like ordering any food ourselves. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Please beware, they charge for the bread that you bring to the table even if you dont ask them to. A food is OK, I was not really the fan of it, however the wait time was a little bit too much, and the staff was not so kind either. There was always a huge line at the bathroom and there was no warm water or any paper towels to dry your hands. I would not really recommend it to be honest.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced – we had sausages with fries and a delicious Frigania for dessert. Highly recommend! Sunbeds were €20 per set (July 2025). However, a heads-up: while the setting is idyllic, some staff members are quite unfriendly and more focused on chasing away non-paying visitors than creating a welcoming atmosphere. Luckily, we were served by a kind and helpful young woman, a great reminder that it’s the people who truly make a place special. Despite the mixed service experience, I recommend Porto Limnionas and truly hope to return one day.

We had a Seafood Pizza, some pasta and two times the salmon and prawns dish. The prawns on the pizza were not peeled. It looked like a pizza margarita with some seafood dropped on top and it had no flavour. The same applies for the salmon and prawns dish, the prawns were not peeled and also difficult to peel. The potato wedges and rice was also very dry. The salmon itself was ok though and the pasta was also nice. In general it was kind of disappointing.

We stopped by on our bikes, and even though they weren’t officially open yet, they kindly served us a cold beer. The view from here is the best on the entire island – absolutely breathtaking. Sunsets must be incredible from this spot. A fantastic place with a truly special atmosphere!

We had an amazing time at Porto Schiza Tavern! The food options are wide and local-based and the staff was really friendly. But the most special thing was the view, we enjoyed an impeccable sunset and a beautiful atmosphere. Just a little reminder, even if you go in august, bring a jacket if you go for dinner, as the sea's breeze gets a bit chilly.

The most remarkable part of our experience here was the sunset, absolutely amazing view. The food was good, but the waiter not so friendly. The road to the taverna is quite difficult even more at night.

A very cozy place right in the port, with a great vibe overall. The menu is varied and there are many dishes to choose from, perfect for all. There are many fish dishes to try, including local fish. The dessert is to die for! And the staff is super friendly and outgoing, speaking perfect English.

A nice place with a view over harbor. The stuff was very efficient and quite friendly. The meat was dry and not tasty, the fried potatoes were too salty, while the tzaziki sauce and vegatbles were fresh and delitious.

Food was kind of not very nice, like it didn't taste good. The salmon came with a weird teriyaki sauce and was dry. My seafood pasta had sharp pieces of shell in it. The white wine came out WARM and was disgusting. The best bit was the cats causing a commotion nearby.

Lovely beach, very busy so it's best to get there early. It's a large deep sandy beach but as you can appreciate half of it is closed off because of the turtle nests. The waters Lovely a clear. Three huge parking lots next to bars, restaurants and the turtle conservation centre.

Nice beach where turtles lays their nests. Part of the beach (Fortunately) is still reserved for the turtles, but it's still big. Nice sand and crystalline water, highly suggested Just outside there is a big parking spot and a free to visit small turtle museum to spread awareness (must visit)

Beautiful loggerhead turtle hatching spot even though we weren’t visiting during the hatching season. There were some people flouting rules such as using drones, but there were equally some weirdos telling people off without having a clear understanding of the rules. We were visited by the massage guys every 10 minutes once and it added to the anxiousness of the day. But the beach is shallow, beautiful and after speaking with the staff, hopefully gets more cordoned off during hatching seasons.

Lovely bay, crowded at this time of the year as the majority is closed for the turtle nesting and beware the far end as it is frequented by nudest bathers. The bay is shallow and calm offering great safety for children.

Nice sandy beach, we like to snorkel and tried to do that at the end of the beach where we noticed rocks. Nothing special from marine life to see. Warning - many nudist people here, they walk around with no swimsuits touching their private parts. We were disgusted. Don't take your children there.

A very nice Sandy beach, clear waters, plenty of people and sunbeds, but still a limited space for people to use their own umbrella and towel on the sand. Not as much as it should be, and the two bars have illegally placed ropes closing off a portion of the beach but that's up to the city to investigate and prosecute, and they wouldn't go against business interests over the environment and the visitors

Free parking onsite with very comfortable beach chairs for rent. There is also a free section. Showers, changing rooms, toilets and beach bar onsite as well. They differ in price from back to front of beach. We paid 25€ for a set of two chairs with umbrella, which is more or less the current going rate throughout the Ionian as we visited both in Lefkada and Kefalonia as well. Food and service were great and reasonably priced compared to other beach bars. The water is shallow and very warm so perfect if you want to bring kids or a family. There was nice music and vibes as well. Would recommend visiting! Corina took great care of us.

Very nice and cosy place! There's music, but not too loud. There are lot of people, but we could always get sunbeds and umbrella, despite on other beaches. The prices are moderate, the stuff is always available and very friendly. Our favourite on Zante. 😍

A stunning beach and well worth its award. Sunbeds are 10 euros each but are so comfortable and come with waitress service to them. Had 2 great days here which included food and drinks. Well worth a visit.

Nice, clear and clean water. Good service and very fast, the food was also very good for a beach! Sunbed pricing is based on distance from water - starting at €30 next to the water, all the way down to €20 further away. There might be a minimum consumption per person, of about €10-€15 per person, but if you get food, there’s no problem in getting to this. Overall, great experience, no wonder it’s one of the most popular ones on the island.

Nice place and beach. Need to take you waters shoo with you. It’s small stones in the beginning of the water and later sandy. Good beds. Approx 20 euro,s per set in the back and 30 more near the water. Nice bar and drinks. A bid on the price but you get nice service in return. The restaurant is also good. Had the club sandwich and was great. Like this place a lot!

Nice sandy beach with fine, clear water. You have organized beach - like classy Banana casa playa (beach bar) with their sevice, wi-fi, ATM, parking place with roof... If you are more ascetic type, you have wild beach beside. Public KTEL bus could bring you to the beach which is friendly to disable person. On the beach is service of water sports. I have very enjoyed this beach, so absolutely recommend you to visit it.

Heavenly place, the bay is great, sand, there is natural shade and nice sun loungers. A great place to watch the sunset. Access is only a 15 minute walk from the bus stop or parking lot. The restaurant is quite mediocre and expensive.

It's a really nice long sandy beach. It's great to laze away the day. The sea is shallow and inviting. The cliffs are interesting as they seem to have crystal inbedded in them. You might see turtle nest on the beach but do not go yo close to them as they are protected by law. ACCESS to the beach is from 7am till sunset only.

Shallow clear water running up to a sandy beach strip. Safe for small people. Access only from sunrise 7am to sunset due to nesting turtles 🐢. Eggs hatching from late July to October and sites are marked out. Lifeguards until 6pm. Facilities behind the beach, Kalamaki Beach Hotel direct onto beach for good lunch & refreshments. Pedalos etc, for hire, along with sunbeds,& parasols - at €20 a hit!

Lovely, long and wide beach. A lot of the rear of the beach is roped off where the loggerhead turtle nests are. A lot of the nests are covered with a small wooden wigwam to protect them. The sea starts out shallow so it is ideal for children. On the day we visited there were volunteers excavating a nest and there was a small turtle starting it's journey to the sea.

It's...ok. It's not the nicest beach, if I'm honest, by my opinions, it's a bit of dive (and I'm not talking with a snorkel). However, I imagine that is due to it being a nesting beach, so there is likely little you can do to it in terms of doing it up a little. It's a nice walk from one side of the beach to the other, between Kalamaki and Laganos ( I'd say about 40 minutes but feels shorter). I did also accidentally got chance to swim with two turtles one evening (they are huge) which was nice. If you're in the area, it's not a bad visit - but I wouldn't make a special trip for it.

I can not imagine, how such a place can be called "National Park". It is dissgusting!! In front of this rubbish are turtles eggs places!! Poor. It is 21st century, and we have this??!!

A bit of a climb or hike to get up here but an excellent view of the beach with all the turtle pyramid things. This is the trail dirt track that goes to either the nudist beach or a hike up the hill to the taverna at the top. Its a long walk but worth it as the taverna is really nice and has fantastic views.

Beautiful beach,shallow sea with sand.Turtle nest area. Only spoiled by the sheer amount of litter along the beach and if you look behind the rocky cliff you could easily fill a couple of wheelie bins.Shame some tourists don’t give a toss.Good view of airplanes coming in to land over the beach at low height.

The island can be reached via a charming wooden pier, and the water is crystal clear. It’s very beautiful to admire the island from the pier. To access the beach, there’s a 5-euro fee (I didn’t pay it).

Cameo Island is well worth a visit. There is a 5 euro per person fee that includes a photo keyring momento. You access the Island via a wooden bridge. There is a cafe selling drinks with slight inflated prices. There us a stunning swimming spot, with crystal clear water, beach shoes are ideal as it's rocky under foot.

The island is lovely but there are so many more beautiful locations on the island - it would have been so much better if it wasn't crammed with people, there is no space to sit/lay down. You have to pay €5 to get in but then they don't seem to limit people so you can't actually enjoy the beach.

Be there early, €5 PP entry fee but you get 2x keychain with the photo they take there. Place to lay down is limited, there are chairs in the shade but first come first serve (the free). A lot of boats stop by but still nice views, warm water but rocky

Cameo Island is a place that is difficult to compare to any other. This small, rocky island connected to the mainland by a wooden bridge makes an incredible impression from the moment you set foot on it. During the day, Cameo invites you to relax in a cozy café with a breathtaking view of the Ionian Sea. If you're lucky, you might encounter Caretta Caretta turtles swimming around the island, which have taken a liking to this place. But the real magic begins when Cameo becomes a wedding venue. Weekends here often belong to young couples from all over the world. The island can be rented exclusively - the ceremony takes place by the bay, surrounded by white decorations floating in the wind, with a view of the sea and the setting sun. It is not without reason that it is said to be the most beautiful wedding venue in all of Greece.

We had a lovely day here! Walk along the rope bridge and it’s €5 per person in. This also includes a key chain with a photo. Stunning views and a great place for pictures.

Well worth the visit, although not very well signposted if on scooter/car. Great situation and scenery on a sunny day. Wooden footbridge over to Cameo Island, difficult passing oncoming people when busy, especially with prams,children or disabled. When you get to the island step off bridge onto rough ground then have to climb two sets of steep steps and then pay a charge of 5€ per person to go onto viewing point and small restaurant, this isn't advertised before you get on the footbridge! Definitely not recommended for young children, elderly or disabled. When you arrive in the bay there are countless ticket touts offering boat trips, which can be annoying.

“Zakintos “ The island is beautiful and definitely suitable for a holiday. However, staying in the same hotel for more than a week feels too long, as there is practically no offer outside the hotels, so it’s good to change location a bit. Before booking, it’s worth checking if the hotel really matches the description – I had an issue myself and had to switch on the same day. Otherwise, everything is well organized. A highlight is the trip to the turtle island, although it is overly promoted.”

We stayed for 12 nights just outside Zante town in a villa on the hillside. It was the start of October so the intermittent weather was to be expected. Hiring a car gave us the option to travel around a bit and do some shopping. Roads were fine, sometimes a bit narrow but parking a struggle so expect a walk in the town centre unless you are lucky to find a space. We ate out around 7 nights and found some real gems. Ones that stood out to us were... TAVERNA AKROTIRI: for traditional Greek food and amazing service and family run. Ill never forget the sample tray they bring out, very helpful, and the homemade vanilla ice cream, made with love ADEMAM; delicious modern food with low lit courtyard seating. The soup of the day was amazing. Definitely try the pressed lamb! ZAZU: tucked away in a back street, this tapas stye experience had everything. The food was delicious with traditional and new flavours. We ordered 4 which was plenty BELLO: an Italian restaurant on the front by the marina. Complete menu from fresh pasta and traditional dishes the service was efficient and the food very tasty We used Google maps to find our way round and help us decide which places to visit. Its always reliable we find and get guided by what people have found and photograph

Absolutely fell in love with Zakynthos! Beautiful! Great food options! And wonderful tour options by Happy Days Zante! Dennis & Leo were awesome tour guides for the two we chose while there!

Very nice place, with lots of swimming pools and water parks and, ice cream and lots of lovely people. and nice food and the weather is beatiful. BUT, there are lots of dangerous roads with cars riding on a eage of a cliff but I come here every year and you should come too

Overall the hotel is very good!!! They provide brilliant buffet breakfasts In addition, their reception can speak English fluently, and they are very helpful as well. I highly recommend all guest can live in here if travel in this island

I wanted to reschedule check in dates to a few days after (I’m well before free cancellation) however the hotel did not review my request and took my money.

My recent stay at the Nikon Boutique Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to assist, setting the tone for a wonderful visit. The lobby was elegantly appointed, blending modern aesthetics with classic comforts. It was clear that every detail was meticulously curated to create an inviting atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, which I appreciated after a long day of travel. My room was a delightful surprise. Spacious and impeccably clean, it boasted a comfortable bed.

The room is a little bit small but it’s really well located and you will find a lot of lovely restaurants and shops next to you!! The cleaning service is not great as they just do the bed and they don’t even hover the room! The breakfast is good but there is not a lot of variety as a lot of the hot food is pork based!! But I recommend this hotel if you are visiting zante for the first time!! The location is perfect to go everywhere!!

The central location drew us to this hotel and it really was in the middle of all the action. Staff is friendly and helped as needed. Rooms are adequate and extremely clean. The breakfast buffet (included with our room) offered lots of variety. There is limited parking for hotel guests; however, parking is available within the surrounding area. Great access to restaurants and cafes as well as the waterfront. Would highly recommend a sea-view room to really enjoy the location of this hotel.

Awful service. We trusted this venue for a family wedding and they massively let us down. Promised they would be accommodating and on the wedding day wouldn’t allow drinks to the room. DO NOT BOOK! Promises are always broken. Even when staying in the hotel they still charge €25 for sun loungers!

Simply amazing! From the moment we arrived at the restaurant until dessert. The atmosphere was enhanced by a DJ who created a great vibe without the music ever being intrusive. We enjoyed a truly fantastic wine, with an impeccable starter, main course, and dessert. Service was flawless. Absolutely worth the price.

We just loved this place and stumbled across it based on reviews. It's rare when the ambience, food, service and music are aligned for a simply stunning evening. The food is definitely creative and plating is gorg. Service is super friendly - Costadina and Stavros were great to get to know and we appreciated their recommendations. The restaurant wasn't even super busy last night as it's the beginning of the season but the garden setting was still magical with the dim sexy lighting. The music was the icing on the cake and honestly made last night one of my fave dining experiences - and we've been around! Kudos to the team - I would come back to Zakynthos just to dine here again! Definitely go! X

We had noticed that a well-known Norwegian public figure had visited the place a few weeks ago and shared very positive feedback. This piqued our interest, and we were eager to try it ourselves. The food was absolutely exceptional, and the tables were set in a charming courtyard surrounded by beautiful, natural scenery. The service was impeccable. Unfortunately, we had indulged in a rather large lunch earlier in the day, so we only had a main course. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend coming prepared to enjoy a three-course meal—or even more. This place comes highly recommended. Thank you for a truly unforgettable experience!

From the welcome to the farewell, the staff was absolutely amazing. Attention to every detail and each member of the staff knew exactly what to do. The cuisine is exquisite on all of its aspects. Fragrant colors, perfect blend of textures as well as flavors.

If there’s one dish on the menu you should order, it’s definitely the Sugo starter. I love that for every dish served, the waiters and waitresses give a brief explanation of what you’re about to enjoy, like how a course menu would be done. Very attentive staffs as well.

First I must mention that I am French and that my expectations might be different. As for my relation with time (and money). The place is great, the staff is friendly. And the food is exquisite. Nevertheless tonight it seems like there were huge organizational issues. For a table of 6, it took us 3h for a stater-main-desert. As I said, staff was very sympathic but we have seen like 5 or 6 of them. Not to mention the software issue where our orders had not been properly registered.This explains the somehow hectic service. All in all, taking into considération the value for money, i put a little 2/5 because with such prices (especially on this location), you should-could improve the expérience (As an example and like the icing on the cake, another (new) waiter had us pay the bill. Bill totally in Greek so impossible to check and then it was automatically selecting a 15% tip that we refused. We would have rather considered apologies for the long service and some shots tbh.)

We saw the restaurant sign on our way to the beach, checked the reviews, and since they’re so good we stop on our way back. It didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere in their garden was a 10, the food was delicious, good portions too. I would suggest booking in advance if possible since we were lucky enough to walk in and get a table, but most of them were booked.

From the very first visit, when my future wife and I tried the lamb, moussaka, and octopus, we felt as though we’d stumbled upon something unique and unforgettable. Each dish was not only delicious but prepared with a touch of care and tradition that made the flavors stand out. On our most recent visit, I decided to try the pork chop and pork souvlaki. Coming from a country where pork recipes are deeply rooted in our culinary traditions, I wasn’t expecting to be impressed — but I was proven completely wrong. The meat was grilled to perfection: soft, tender, juicy, and yet fully cooked. The portions were so generous we couldn’t finish them and happily took some to go. What elevates this place far beyond the food is the people. The owner took the time to meet and greet us, instantly connecting with us on various topics while generously sharing the cooking secrets behind their incredible dishes. Alexandros explained how their octopus turns out so tender on the grill, and how the lamb is slowly prepared to perfection before serving. Conversations like these made us feel more like family than customers. Over multiple visits, that feeling has only grown stronger. Each time we’re welcomed with genuine smiles and enthusiasm from the owner, his father, and the entire team. Our server Christov added another layer to the experience — with thoughtful recommendations that sometimes surpassed our own choices, enriching the whole dining journey. The taverna is always bustling, and for good reason, but we’ve always managed to find a table for two even without a reservation. That, paired with the warmth of the staff, left me truly feeling special every time we dined here. This is not just a restaurant — it’s a place where you come as a guest and leave as a friend. Wholeheartedly recommended.

If you’re in Zakynthos and want to experience real Greek hospitality, Kostas Brother is a must! The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth perfection, the mousaka was rich and comforting, and the octopus was simply unforgettable. What amazed me most is that everything our waiter promised about the dishes turned out to be true — no exaggeration, just honesty served on a plate. We weren’t treated like “customers,” but like friends and family sharing a meal. And then, as if the food wasn’t enough, the atmosphere came alive with live Greek music, sung straight from the heart by the owner and his brother. Their voices, sincerity, and warmth filled the night with something magical. The whole place feels natural and green, like dining inside a little piece of paradise. Now, for the “cons” (which aren’t really cons at all): Portions are generous, you may need a small siesta before moving again. The music is so joyful you might find yourself clapping along before you realize it. The friendliness is dangerously addictive — you might just want to move in and never leave. In short, we loved everything. If you want delicious food, genuine people, and a place that feels like home, don’t miss this taverna.

We visited twice in a week. This restaurant is very popular with live music. It can be busy. Serving team are friendly and excellent English. They are attentive, at least until all the food is served, but then can drift due to the large numbers of covers. Food is very nice. We enjoyed all our meals. Atmosphere very lively for a small village and hugely enjoyable.

Very nice garden patio with bougainvillea flowers. Right next to banana beach clubs, so it is nice place have dinner after a long beach session day. You can immediately notice it is old hard working family establishment. Local cousins and selection of local cheese which i don’t see often in the other island restaurants. Around 10pm owner and i guess a friend of his starting play bouzouki and guitar which is nice for a enjoyable evening. Highly recommended if you are nearby part of the island. Reservation is recommended.

The meat was very tasty and perfectly cooked. The fries could be a bit better but overall a nice experience. Good restaurant

My partner and I visited Essence on our first evening after falling in love with the place when we walked past. We made a reservation and indeed, were very warmly welcomed into the restaurant, which was very much appreciated and immediately put us at ease. Both ladies looking after us were very kind in helping us choose our food items, and they made sure everything was okay throughout - but without us feeling as if our personal space was being invaded. The food was absolutely exceptional. The ambience was very very special as well: Beautiful birds tweeting amongst glistening fairy lights as the last of the summer sun set. We loved it so much that we visited for a second evening, and everything remained 10/10! (A rare surprise nowadays). Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. P.s., we felt the prices were definitely lower than the whole quality and experience, which is why we tipped on both evenings. In England we would have for sure been expected to pay at least 150-175 for the whole food and experience.

Delicious cuisine ! Great combination of flavours, colours, authenticity and innovation! Octopus was exquisite, the halloumi with the beetroot, the mushrooms, the cauliflower (everything!) were excellent.. all very fresh and with an outstanding service !

Finally, after being a bit disappointed with other restaurants in Kalamaki I found this gem and visited twice. This is a fine dining experience and therefore the prices are a bit higher compared to other restaurants in the area, but the quality, service and atmosphere are so much better. This is the best restaurant that I found in Kalamaki during my stay, absolutely recommended.

Visited Essence for our second experience of the holiday our last night. This time instead of having a starter and a main course we decided to stick to the tapas having six dishes between the two of us. Prior to getting our order we had the on the house food aperitif to get the taste buds going. The dishes we decide to have were: Cauliflower steak (cooked thick slice of cauliflower in light spices, Greek yogurt, egg, breadcrumbs) Crab Kataifi (hand picked crab meat rolled and fried in Kataifi pastry, sesame mayo) Sea bass sashimi (cured sea bass with soya and sesame seed sauce which I think has treacle mixed in with it) Albondigas (duck meatballs, almond aioli, fresh mint) As I said we had six dishes so to make it up to six we had two off the crab Kataifi and ordered up the Paella arancini (seafood rice croquettes, tomato confit, Parmesan. For drinking we had a bottle of wine Service was great, food was great, and the ambiance was great. A very nice place to have a special meal. Will be back again.

A nice friendly restaurants with beautiful plated dishes. It's more of a tapas bar with sophisticated use of fresh ingredients. House wine was also great and cool. For when you feel a bit fancy. Remember to book in advance, we were lucky to get a spot.

Exceptional place, the staff is polite and friendly. Creative plates, everything was very tasty. It exceeded my expectations. The decoration is tasteful. There is also parking which is very convenient.

It is a nice pebbles beach, free sun beds, stay in the shade of the trees, shallow sandy water. If you are in north east and the wind is blowing you can come to this beach. I recommend it.

The beach is small, but if you are interested in the view and swimming you won't mind. There are good restaurants, boat rentals. This was our favorite free beach.

Really nice and quiet beach just 20 minutes outside of Laganas. The water is clean, warm and as blue as it gets. Plus sunbeds are free of charge and the parking is easy. There is also a small market where you can get everything you need.

Nice little beach with plenty of parking. It has pebbles but you cand find sand in the water. Showers also available and a lot of shops and tavernas. You should get here in the morning to make sure you find a spot.

Keri beach is a lovely quiet place with no noisy bars. Spend the day lying under the trees with the breeze and in the shade. Little shop at the middle hires beds for 5€. Don't expect a sunset.

Today we visited Keri Lighthouse restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing! The view is worth a million, the atmosphere is incredible. The service is 100 out of 10 — the staff are very attentive and friendly. The food is tasty, I would rate it 8 out of 10. Overall, a wonderful place that I would love to come back to.

We took advantage of being on this beautiful island to discover this gorgeous seaside restaurant! The food is delicious, the selection of cocktails is a real bonus, and the view is breathtaking! A must-visit on the island.

We had a lovely meal at Keri Lighthouse Restaurant with an incredible view over the sea and cliffs — absolutely breathtaking during sunset. We ordered a traditional Greek salad, fresh fish, and lamb. The salad was crisp and refreshing, with generous chunks of feta and ripe tomatoes. The fish was grilled to perfection - simple, flavorful, and fresh. The lamb was tender and full of rich, savory flavor. Friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommend for both the food and the unbeatable view!

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing view. We really enjoyed both the food and the wine selection. While many visitors seem to come mainly for the photo opportunities, this place is genuinely worth a visit for the full experience — the view and the food. The pistachio profiterole is a must-try!

Ok so going into my visit at the Keri lighthouse I had high hopes for the experience and glad to say they were largely met. Let’s start with the view, we booked for food about few days in advance and good god. AMAZING views like I’m sure if you’re visiting here you’ve seen it but it’s truly as good as it looks online - perhaps better. I found the service to be lovely, all the gents went out of their way - especially what looked to be the host in helping us get a taxi hope - do yourself a favour if you’re not driving BOOK a taxi there and back in advance.. we were waiting about an hour for a taxi. Food was pretty good price wise compared to Ireland I found it about the same as a normal restaurant here - €20-40 for a main starters about €11-13, €35 for a bottle of wine. It was our only “dinner out” as we had all inclusive so I can’t compare to other restaurants in the locality. We got the steak and the lamb shank for our mains, I LOVED the lamb shank - might have been some of the best lamb I’ve ever had. The steak had a lovely flame grilled flavour - it was a tad overcooked but the grill flavour made up for that - a bit of additional seasoning wouldn’t have gone a miss but all and all a good steak. Some reviews don’t speak highly of the food here I have to say the mains were great. Starters we had the meat balls, some bread and chips - all of which were just fine We loved.. and I mean LOVED the Greek wine that we got. We ended the dinner with some lovely cocktails. Throughly enjoyed the evening.

Keri Lighthouse offers a truly amazing view, with plenty of tables facing the iconic cliffs – and that’s what makes this place so special. The decor is also very beautiful, creating a great atmosphere. The food is okay, but the service is very friendly and welcoming. A reservation is definitely recommended.

First stop on a day long tour with TUI and we found it really interesting. The guide from the museum was clearly spoken and very informative and explained the whole process from the local farmers bringing in their olive harvest to the end product of olive oil and the options the farmers then have. The tasting session at the end of the tour was also very enjoyable.

It's ok to go there and see how it's all made and to taste. It's free entry. Only if you expect to buy the olive oil for a good price you are mistaken. Your better of tasting there and buying it in the local shops because the prices are far to high even though they make it themselves. Check the photo it will prove to you that I am correct.

very nice olive processing facility. we did a self guided tour and saw the whole process. at the same time you can buy and taste all their products on spot. would be great to go a bit deeper in processing technology for curious ones ;-)

All different presses are on display in the courtyard and lots of different trees, olive, orange etc... and plants can be viewed too. Then inside is a working modern press and 8+ different olive oils can be tasted and purchased. There are also other local products e.g. honey soap and olives. Highly recommend 👍. We bought some amazing olive oil 🪔.

Nice experience. A small tour in a real factory. You start outside where you find some old machines how they pressed olive oil in the past. Information signs give information about this equipment. When following the route you go inside the factory, were you the unloading dock of the olives, the cleaning, pressing, separation and water separation machines for cold pressed extra vergine olive oil. At the end of the tour you can taste different olive oils, olives and tapenade. Verg kind employees walk with you to explain the different equipment and the process. All is for free. At the tasting station you can also buy different olive oils and products. The real olive pressing seasons starts from about half of October till February. This is done inside this factory.

Well worth it. A great little factory tour, from the ancient presses arrayed outside of the building to the modern automated machines inside. However the guided tour is a must, to getting all the details that make it so interesting. A variety of oils and olives to taste and purchase. With plenty of Parking and free admission, what's not to like. Thanks.

A very nice place to visit. The staff are very kind. We found out how olive oil is made, we could taste their products which are also available for sale. It's definitely worth visiting.

“Zante Water Village – Simply Fantastic!” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a gem! Zante Water Village offers incredible value (€25 for a full-day adult ticket!)—truly a great price for everything you get.   Where do I even start… the slides are amazing. From heart-stopping plunges like the Free Fall Plus and Kamikaze to the thrilling Boomer Bowl and head-first Mat Racer, there’s non-stop excitement for all adrenaline levels.    Cleanliness here is top-notch—everywhere felt immaculately clean and tidy, and the lifeguards were attentive, which made the whole experience feel safe and relaxing.   The atmosphere? Perfect. Easy to spend all day in the sun, lounging on free sunbeds under umbrellas, riding the relaxed 300-meter Lazy River, and enjoying the laid-back vibe with minimal queues and plenty of space to chill.

A beautiful aqua park with facilities for all ages. The prices are very fair. The atmosphere is excellent. Large and small swimming pools, slides, a relaxing river surrounded by palm trees and flowers, a jacuzzi and a lot more...

A great day out. Water park was clean and staff were incredibly hard working. FUN FACT : There are two pool bars that only take cash and as a result were not very busy... so take some cash to avoid the long queues. Price of food and drink very reasonable. We booked our trip through Peters Tours, so a coach picked us up from our Hotel (Diana Palace Hotel) and took us back at the end of the day. I'm giving the attraction a four because of the fake La Bu Bu toys on sale. My daughters were desperate and as a surprise, we bought them one each at 15 euros each. Terrible fake imitations and a terrible let down to the end of an awesome day.

Fun waterpark. Variety of slides. Probably only need about 4 hours there. Plenty of sun beds, was very quiet when we went, ? Due to location. Good priced food there. Lockers €5 with €1 back if key returned

Brilliant place, clean and so many options to choose from. Great for families, kids of all ages and adults too. The eatery can get busy at times but they are working at super speed so a little waiting but it's okay.

Decent size water village which is larger than the one in Tsilivi. Was a queue to get in as many coaches arrived at once. Plenty of sun loungers and a wide selection of pools and slides for all ages.

Good value for families, but organization could improve Rating: 4/5 stars I booked our tickets through My Tours, who arranged the booking. On arrival, the ticketing area was extremely disorganized and we ended up waiting about 45 minutes to enter despite having pre-purchased tickets. That delay lowered the experience a bit. A practical tip: bring your own towel, as towels aren’t provided. The place is nice and compact, with shorter queues compared with larger parks, which is great for families with kids. Food was decent, but there are no halal options available on the island—the options elsewhere are better, though you can find some good choices overall. Overall, worth trying, especially for families, but be prepared for some organizational hiccups.

Beautiful taverna with a stunning view, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Everyone was being attacked by mosquitoes because there's a stagnant water next door, and a regular gave us some mosquito repellent. I ordered a fish dish and left it because the quality was like frozen from the supermarket. Dry, tough, and tasteless. My wife's too, but it was still edible. For 20 euros, I don't expect much, but I left it. I guess I'm used to better. We saw that the "no smoking" signs didn't apply to the chef. The 2 and 3 picture is fresh from a other taverne same price, we know kwality to find!

Super delicious and flavorful food, especially the musaka! But unfortunately the fried calamari is not tender and misses some sort of dips, we think. Staff (or owner) is very sweet and welcome. The location is unfortunately very noisy because of all the quad bikes.

The team was really great and the sitting area was great but the same does not go for the food. Our octopus was cold and I personally do not understand why they served red mullets and calamari with french fries. Ok for casual dining but would not recommend it.

Ate here last night and decided on just ordering a few starters and a few drinks. The food was absolutely amazing and there was so much of it. Shrimps were bigger than King prawns with rice and whatever they were marinated in was amazing. Mushrooms and garlic bread and salad. Wouldn’t have managed a meal after that .

Excellent food and service. If you search for exceptional experience - go to Taverna Keri! We took a table on the balcony and it was good choice because we had better view to the harbour.

Been there 5 nights now. Delicious food, great atmosphere and very friendly service. A real family restaurant. Even when it starts to rain they manage to get everyone sheltered, it was very cosy. The mixed grill is enough for the biggest appetite. But if you have room for more, the desserts are amazing ! Tiramisu, the best I ever had. Chocolade cake, just wow. Baklava, to die for. I might go back tomorrow for my last meal this holiday. Yamas.

Delicious food – everything fresh and perfectly seasoned, just like a homemade Greek meal. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. The garden is beautiful, a perfect spot to enjoy your meal in the shade. The whole place has a truly unique and relaxing vibe.

Ole Ole is an amazing family run Taverna in Zakynthos. From the minute you arrive you are greeted with a warm welcome and shown to a table. The restaurant is very popular so always busy so a good idea to book in advance, especially if you are a large party, to avoid disappointment. The staff are very friendly and many speak several languages. There is a large selection on the menu all of which I tried were delicious. This is my second year staying in Agios Sostis and I ate at Ole Ole every evening, I was remembered and greeted like a friend each time. I’m hoping to return to the resort next year and will definitely be eating here again! Can’t recommend enough!

We only stayed in Zakynthos for 3 nights, but we ate here twice, and were so sad to not have gone for a 3rd time. Prices are reasonable, food is amazing and the atmosphere is gorgeous. We will definitely return on our next trip - the Octopus Stifedi and Seafood Tapa are highly recommended.

It’s a lovely restaurant! The vibes were really cozy. Our waiter was kind and so was the owner. The prices were similar to the restaurants nearby. Our food came out quickly and was amazing. I would definetly recommend this place!

Super nice family restaurant! I went to Zakynthos with my parents for a week and we ate at ole ole 4 times that week. Very friendly staff and super tasty food. When we came in and left we were greeted friendly and thanked with a hand. The taverna is beautiful with all the flowers and lights which makes it very cozy and snug. So if you want to go to a restaurant where it is cozy, snug, friendly staff and tasty food, then you should definitely go to ole ole! You should not miss this if you are on Zakynthos!

Simply amazing! We visited for wine tasting and some nibbles on a hot afternoon and it was great to sit below the grapes and have some chilled white wine. The sommelier was really nice too and explained everything to us. I would highly recommend a visit though keep in mind that it’s aimed towards a mid to high end tourist crowd rather than locals.

Beautiful winery, we came for the premium wine tasting. 6 glasses of lovely wine accompanied by a delicious cheeseboard, nice chilled atmosphere and music playing over speakers. Staff were brilliant, very informative about the wines and attentive. Great value for money- would recommend!

The location is really nice, especially in the early evening. Prices are a bit above average, but the food is exceptional. The gift from the kitchen was impressive, and the dip with the starter was amazing. The main course was just as good, especially the dish of the day. The meat quality is excellent. We've never had such good spare ribs—the meat fell off the bone. Highly recommended! The service is friendly, quick, and gives great advice. I don't usually like many wines, but the waiter picked a fantastic one for me here.

We can definitely recommend Grampsas Winery for a wine tasting in a calm and unique atmosphere under the grapevines 🍇 We tasted five of their wines, we especially liked the Gran Rosé, Verdea and Verdea Traditionelle. The service by Sofia was perfect, she explained everything clearly and answered all of our questions. Thank You so much for this experience, we had a great time🤍

Unfortunately, this was by far the worst wine tasting of my life. The location was beautiful and the waiters were very friendly, but three wines were served at the same time and unfortunately only two minutes were spent talking about them. After about 30 minutes, the next three wines were served at the same time. In addition, there are two dogs running around, which unfortunately have fleas. Dog owners who bring their own dogs should be aware!

The best restaurant we've ever eaten at. The beef tartare was cut right off the bone at the table and was incredibly delicious. The spare ribs were also beautifully marinated and tender. We also ordered some sushi, which was truly delicious. Dessert alone was reason enough to go there. The Dubai chocolate dessert is truly delicious.

We visited the restaurant for dinner and were charmed! We decided to try their sushi too. We ordered two types of sushi, pasta with truffle and gyros. We were very impressed with everything, but we were most charmed by the cocktails they served us. They were simply amazing! During our entire vacation in Zakynthos, we had not drunk more delicious cocktails. The restaurant has a pretty good interior, the service is good, the staff is extremely friendly, they served us quickly, even though they were very busy. I recommend it! We would come back.

The place is top-level. Having dinner here was a very pleasant experience. The food is delicious, the decor is beautiful, and the service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended for a date night. The garden makes a great impression. The sushi is outstanding with unique flavor combinations, and the tartare was tasty and beautifully presented.

The best restaurant I went to during my stay on Zakyntos. Everything is a 10/10, we went back for a second time on our last evening because it was that good. The waiters are all lovely and the service is great. Great price for the quality of food you get. Would definitely recommend.

I usually never write reviews, but for Botanic Garden I make an exception. When we arrived our table was not ready yet so we got offered a place at the bar where we were welcomed very kindly. After 5/10 minutes our table was ready and we immediately got help from one of the lovely waiters. After helping us decide which rosé wine to take and ordering the rest of our food, we were amazed by the amazing quality. Definitely the very best restaurant we’ve been to on Zakynthos!

We had high expectations of this restaurant, but unfortunately these fell short. We were greeted promptly and given our first round of drinks quite quickly. We were seated in a nice area by the small pond in the corner. We then ordered our mains and were offered some bread to start. We quickly learned that bees / wasps would be a problem as we ate, as they were ever attracted to the flowers and bushes that are around. (We did expect an element of this being a garden place). The bread starter was quite nice. We didn’t wait long until the mains arrived, but when they did we were quite disappointed. The portion size on the sea bass was pitiful. We had one small and thin fillet of bass, sat on a bed of what only can be described as tomato soup. There was not veg or side included with this, and would have been enough for a started if I am being completely honest. The BBQ ribs were more of a suitable portion but were 8 euros more expensive. The 3 langoustines were also disappointing as they had a small amount of meat on them and there was no water bowl to clean your fingers. After we finished our mains we did tell the staff that we were disappointed from what we considered a more upmarket and expensive restaurant. After receiving this feedback the lady that served us was apologetic, and ended up giving us 4 free limoncellos and free desert. This did salvage some of the evening for us, however the bill still exceeded 135 euros. The food itself was tasty, however I think there is a lot to learn for this restaurant, and they have focused heavily on design and profit of the place over the customer experience in terms of actually eating the food and what should be the best in town.
