The Museum of the 20th Century in Hoorn, Netherlands is a unique attraction suitable for all ages. Housed in a charming historic building, it offers an engaging exploration of the local area's history throughout the 20th century. The museum boasts an extensive collection of items such as household objects, toys, fashion, and technological artifacts from different eras. Visitors can expect a lighthearted and enjoyable experience that evokes nostalgia and provides insight into the past.
The lego exhibition is very pretty and exciting 😍 Also the exhibition of the 20th Century is well planned (every exhibition is a room from a different decade) and impressive, and than there is another 2 big halls of lego exhibition. The cafeteria is very very simple but it is located right next to a lego tables, in which the kids can play while we could enjoy our cup of coffee. Include in the museum card!
Gil J — Google review
The first floor of the museum can be viewed in half an hour. But for the second floor, reserve some time! The exhibits are incredibly interesting and you can spend hours looking at them. There is a cafe and a souvenir shop. All the staff is very friendly and caring.
Yuliya L — Google review
An excellent museum. It starts with rooms from the various eras of the 20th century and a shopping street. My favourite part was the toys and Lego. You can really see your childhood on display. I was here for 1.5 hours but could have spent a little bit longer to take my time before it closed. I recommend the audio tour for the English speakers as it translates the main signs that you see.
Claire D — Google review
We visited this museum specifically for the LEGO exhibit. It was nice, though we didn’t love that almost everything was behind glass, which caused reflections, making it hard to see the details (let alone take photos). Still, it did bring back some nostalgic feelings. At the end of the exhibit, kids can build with LEGO themselves. The only downside is that the area with the LEGO bricks is quite dark. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The museum itself is small but enjoyable. I imagine it would be especially meaningful for those who lived in the Netherlands in the 20th century, as it likely brings back fond memories.
Olga D — Google review
A great museum for all ages. For the older ones there will the constant "wow I still remember this" and for the younger ones the possible understanding about how we older ones grew up. During this visit with my son there was the bonus of the temporary exhibition "Lego, 90 years"
Rudi A — Google review
Walk through to Dutch living rooms from the 20th century. I loved the Lego exposition.

Amazing museum! We visited with three generations (grandparents, parents, and kids), and everyone enjoyed it. The electronics section is particularly interesting, with rare pieces like the first, pre-VHS consumer video recorder (Philips N1500), and the Video 2000 system. A lot of work went into collecting and putting everything together so nicely. The LEGO section is a nice add-on for the kids!
Andrei O — Google review
Went here with the social deal discount. Not too big, not too small. Fun to make the trip down memory lane. Friendly staff. The discovery tour for kids with the mice is a bit messy. Mice are missing, many objects when found do not have the answer to the question to be found anywhere. Idea is nice though. Hope they will fix it. The Lego exhibition is nice to see. Kids love to build something with Lego and get rewarded with a true Lego buildmaster diploma. Free parking at the Nieuwe Wal is nice. Only a short 15 minute walk from there to the museum or you can take the free shuttle that departs every 20 minutes. Against what their website states, do not call them at the 06 number mentioned on their website to inquire for the shuttle as that will lead to a guy getting cranky at you for calling him. The shuttle will keep going back and forth. No need to call. Worth visiting!

Restaurant De Hoofdtoren is located in one of the oldest buildings in Hoorn, offering a stunning view of the harbor. Housed in a historic tower that was once a defensive gate, this atmospheric restaurant serves delicious local specialties such as freshly caught fish and traditional Dutch stews. The building itself is an attraction, with visitors able to climb to the top for panoramic views of the city and harbor.
Stopped for lunch with my wife and son. Loved it. We all loved it. The food and atmosphere were fantasitic. We had two weeks in Netherlands and Belgium and this is the restaurant I remember most fondly.

Very nice and traditional place close to the sea! Nice experience to get in What we taste was really well done!

In Hoorn, with the harbor in sight, we arrived at restaurant "de Hoofdtoren", despite the beautiful weather, we found a quiet spot inside. After looking at the menu, my choice for my dinner was "fish of the day". After my order I already received a small taste of bread with "Olive tapenade". The dinner was great. The staff is super friendly, nice and helpful. Definitely a location I can recommend.

Lovely place to eat in Hoorn. We had dinner and the service was attentive and careful. The restaurant is located in an old tower, on the second floor, so the access is through a spiral stone stair. A lot of the lights come from candles and it makes it very cozy. The food is not fancy, it is regular but served in good portions. They offered a small kit of activities to keep my toddle busy (crayons, stickers, colouring, sudoku) and it was lovely. Very nice evening there!

There are interesting choices on the menu. On the top floor beautiful window view on the port of Hoorn. Cool historical building. Not very cheap

We had drinks and snacks and it was the King’s Day… great service and their WC was super clean and hygiene.

Very cool restaurant. Felt very fancy and still the staff was very nice to us, clearly beaten down tourists hahaha. Probably better to make reservations but we were able to find a table without it. Delicious food, I love goat cheese and their fried one as entry was great! The restaurant is most definitely not well chair accessible but they have a bar in the ground floor that might be and also serves food.

Municipal Harbour Hoorn

Marina
Municipal Harbour Hoorn is a charming and picturesque destination that offers visitors the opportunity to take boat tours, stroll along the waterfront, and admire the historic buildings. The area features a former prison building that has been transformed into a cinema brasserie, restaurant, museum, and hotel rooms. Surrounded by water and a park, it's an ideal spot for leisurely walks and boat tours. The harbor also boasts various dining options including a Michelin star restaurant.
Hoorn is one of the most picturesque towns in the north of the Netherlands. The port area is worth visiting at any time, even in bad weather. Fortunately for me, I arrived on a beautiful day, which made the walk even more pleasant. My visit was quite short, so I didn't get to see everything worth visiting in the area and missed some important tourist attractions. However, here is a short list of things that are worth seeing: The pier, full of boats of all shapes and sizes The countless bars and restaurants on the shore, offering reasonable prices and good food The old defense towers of the medieval city, especially the "Hoofdtoren Hoorn" The numerous canals, locks, and bridges, an additional proof that the Dutch truly are people of the sea The statuary group "De Scheepsjongens Van Bontekoe" Juliana Park, which starts next to the port and extends almost to the city center, where you can admire some of the fortified gates and bastions that were part of the city's defensive structure In short, Hoorn is a perfect destination for a short vacation.

The Westfries Museum, located in Hoorn, Netherlands, is a captivating destination for history enthusiasts and art aficionados. Housed in a beautifully restored 17th-century building that was once the seat of the Staten-College, the museum boasts an extensive collection of artifacts from the 1500s–1800s. This includes historical paintings and items from the United East India Company.
Fantastic museum with a grand entrance l went to see the Rembrandt collection which was awesome and so well presented in a building that is quite beautiful and going through stages of sympathetic restoration. Staff are very welcoming. It is actually two 16c houses joined together on three levels that was originally 8 homes. They have a lovely shop by reception and bag lockers. They use the app BQ connects which really enhances your visit.

Beautiful museum with a wonderful collection. 2-3 hours there felt as a minute. I wish though that more materials have been translated into English/ German. Although English/ German coverage is very significant, there are some interesting materials available only in Dutch.

Amazing little museum with works of Rembrandt! And a modern artist Anat Ratzabi. Was great to watch the classic Dutch art and a modern together
Kris S — Google review
This delightful museum in Hoorn's historic town square may be small but is packed with many riches of Holland's 'Golden Age'. It contains the history - in models, paintings, furniture, ceramics, artefacts - of the VOC, the once-famed 16th-18th century Dutch trading company. It's well worth spending an hour or two and can easily fit into a day trip. Tip: make sure to see Hendrik Vroom's marine painting 'View of Hoorn' (1622) and Tineke Fischer's 2018 art installation 'Nootmuskaat en Folie', a beautiful memorial to the people of the Spice Islands. Special mention also to the museum's friendly and helpful staff.

I was not aware that only Rembrandt etchings were available at the time of visit due to renovation but the lovely Woman on the desk took me outside and directed me to the Statenpoort where they show a 20min display on the history of Hoorn which I really enjoyed. Thanks!

Eetcafé 't Schippershuis is a charming spot nestled in the picturesque harbor of Hoorn, where you can soak up the local atmosphere while enjoying delicious Dutch classics. Great spot in the harbor with cold beer and service with a smile. Met the owner and he introduced me to another local amateur photographer. Great find in Hoorn

Visited this place on a bike trip very costly place in a nice old VOC trading town of hoorn. Had some nachos so nothing fancy. They were good!
Roberto J — Google review
I have travelled around different places in the world but this was the WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I don’t know where to begin. Service was horrible, she forgot our apple juice 3 times. Then she delivered the most appalling stuff anyone could ever see. “Sandwiches” were supposed to come with a salad, there was no sight of it and when I asked, the girl looked at me like “what do you want” and told me “I don’t know, that’s how we do it” well if that’s how you do it, it is a scam! You cannot offer something in the menu and then deliver half of it?! Apart from it it did not taste good, I mean cheap and dry toast bread with something dry on the top, … yay
Nik O — Google review
Here you will find the Dutch experience: a menu with Dutch classics. The sun was shining, the terrace was out and there was a table available. I went with the uitsmijter. 3 eggs with cheese on 2 slices of bread. I requested to have the eggs fully baked which was not a problem. The service was great: friendly and efficient. All an all a nice experience. Thanks!

During a stay in Hoorn, it would be remiss to overlook the delectable culinary offerings of Italiaans Restaurant La Sfida. This establishment captivates diners with its genuine Italian cuisine, featuring exquisitely crafted pastas and tantalizing sauces. The ambiance is imbued with a charming rustic touch, enhanced by the presence of traditional furniture.
I had the greatest experience ever. The food portions are small but it helps you to feel less bloated. Service was amazing i loved the italian guy and how he talked to us. The Lady with piercings was also very very nice. Food is absolutley amazing it was a wonderful experience. Music was nice. Interior was nice. Not expensive at all for what you get. It felt pretty fancy too. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

We have been coming to La Sfida for many years, and every single time it feels like coming home. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. The quality is consistently high, and you can truly taste the passion in every dish. A special compliment goes to Chef Francesco. His kindness and hospitality make all the difference. He always takes the time for a friendly chat and makes us feel genuinely welcome. For us, La Sfida has become a favorite place where we not only enjoy excellent food but also the warm atmosphere and sincere hospitality of Chef Francesco and his team. Absolutely recommended for anyone visiting Hoorn.

This man knows how to cook! We came here twice in 3 days after a bad experience elsewhere. You can tell the passion and knowledge about food. The pizzas are small, but they are advertised as such. They are more of a side / starter or part of a multi course meal if you order that. The main dishes here are the pasta plates. And they don’t disappoint. Every meal, side, starter we ordered was excellent. Service is also attentive and caring. Ambiente could be a tiny bit nicer if you‘re looking for fine dining, but in no way bad. Thanks for having us! We will be back
Sean F — Google review
We were recommended the restaurant by a friend. The food we ordered was the Chef's 5 course meal and it was DELICIOUS. Each course was unique in it's own way and the owner described each dish perfectly. The staff was really friendly and tended to us really well. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone around Hoorn and we will definitely be coming back here.

Truly delicious food. I was going to go to an Asian place but they were full. Happened to walk into this Italian place instead. The owner was an extremely kind and enthusiastic Italian man. The food was truly delicioso. I especially loved the bruscetta woth burrata and truffle (special of the day). Because I also ordered the special main dish of the day, the owner put his special apron on me:p. Do not miss out on this experience! Prices were fair.

Staying in Hoorn for 2 nights and decided to go to La Sfida for Dinner. We were amazed with the food, all pastas were handmade and the accompanying sauces were delicious! The ambience had a beautiful wibe with rustic furniture. The server was super friendly and suggested some menu items like the meat sauce with Pappardelle which was my favourite... We ended up buying some Arabiatta sauce & Truffle oil as well from the restaurant to take home! Do not miss this restaurant if you are in Hoorn...

We went to Hoorn for the day, beautiful city easy to get there by train. We stopped at the Marque for lunch, best idea of the year!!! The service was excellent: they helped us to choose the best wine to go with our food. We were sitting outside by the canal. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful. The staff is very nice, friendly and professional. It Was so good that I forgot to take a picture of our main course… I am just wondering why they don’t have a Michelin star???

A lovely Mediterranean restaurant located in a historical VOC warehouse. I opted for the 3 course lunch, and the wine pairing and was not disappointed. From the 1st starter of seared tuna, to the summer truffle risotto, to the perfectly cooked Halibut, each course was beautiful to behold. The fresh ingredients sang from the joy of having been treated with such respect and care. It was obvious from the introductions that the staff have a lot of pride in the dishes and the wine, and rightfully so. I enjoyed my lunch so much that I caved in to their recommendation to finish my meal with their signature dessert of Tiramisu. What an excellent meal to remember Hoorn by.

The Museum Hoorn-Medemblik, situated in the charming city of Hoorn in the Netherlands, is a captivating destination for history buffs and train lovers alike. Housed within a 19th-century station, this unique museum offers an immersive journey into the past with its remarkable collection of lovingly restored vintage steam trains and carriages. Visitors have the opportunity to embark on a nostalgic ride aboard a working steam tram, experiencing the allure of early 20th-century travel.
That is what he of the most emerging experiences I have had in a while. You may take a steam train and a boat to travel around. I bought my tickets online but you may get it from the station. The train had coaches from different generations as well as a restaurant car. You may take a bike on a special platform as well. Food is good, staff is nice, trip is exciting! Great for kids and elderly, as well as for people with disabilities. Have fun!

We took the Tulpentrams tour that runs from April 15 to May 4, 2025, expecting to see beautiful tulip fields as advertised. Our trip was on April 30, and unfortunately, all we saw were empty fields — the tulips had already been cut. It was very disappointing and frustrating. The only tulip field we saw was a small patch far in the distance, probably one that just hadn’t been harvested yet. It was very disappointing. Why weren't we warned in advance? Why sell a tour called "Tulip Fields Train" if there are no tulips to see? This feels misleading. The tour organizers should adjust the tour dates according to the actual blooming and harvesting of the tulips, instead of selling tickets without being honest about what visitors will experience. Other than that, the train ride itself is quite long, and without the view of blooming tulips, it’s really not worth the time or money.
Rina — Google review
Spot on attraction. One that will not continue for much longer. For one all the train personnel are pushing 150 years each ....joke...they were very sweet and lovely to see them in action. But basically this tour will take you a few decades back. Train is cute, station taken out of Thomas the Tank Engine books. The landscape wonderful. Then you get to a boat that takes you an hour cruising around the harbor. There is food and snacks along the way. Recommended.
Jose G — Google review
It was so enjoyable. Lovely to be able to stand outside in the fresh air and meander on the train through the Dutch countryside out of airconditioning and also at a slow pace. Plenty of time for a leisurely lunch at Medemblik before boarding the boat. Sitting upstairs in the sun as we sailed was delightful. A really nice experience.

What an amazing little museum showcasing how the steam engine trains were made and maintained even today. Hoorn in itself is a popular place to take a train ride to Medemblik. The trains and train station look like a fairytale. Highly recommend to visit if you are travelling to Netherlands. Its less than a 1hr drive from Amsterdam.

A historic ship and the museum steam tram from Enkhuizen via Medemblik to Hoorn – a nostalgic journey through time. From the Park & Ride in Enkhuizen, we boarded the historic ferry Friesland at 10:40 a.m. We thoroughly enjoyed the nearly 90-minute crossing across the IJsselmeer to Medemblik. We had a good hour's stop in Medemblik itself before continuing on the rails. Charming carriages pulled by a vintage steam locomotive continued the journey for another 90 minutes along the historic line to Hoorn. Upon arrival in Hoorn, we were able to gain some fascinating insights into the history of Dutch steam railways at the museum station. A wonderful conclusion to the museum tour. The return to Enkhuizen was a relaxing experience by public train. There are plenty of food and drinks available on board, both on the ship and on the train. The children are also well-informed, with a small activity kit. Tickets can be booked online in advance. We booked a day in advance and still managed to get seats. The tour is also possible in the opposite direction, starting in Hoorn. However, we ended up back in Enkhuizen on our route and still had plenty of time for a stroll through the beautiful old town.

Super fun day out! I took the train from Hoorn to Medemblik and back and it was such a great experience. The train takes its time so you can enjoy the scenery and have some time in Medemblik as well. If you arrived early at Hoorn you can see the timeline for the steam tram in the Netherlands.

Gorgeous venue located on the water. The foyer is spacious and with nice views to the water front. There’s a bar, a restaurant and large seating area. The acoustics of the hall is very good. Pit is comfortable and with very good acoustics too. The staff is helpful and welcoming.

Goos is a cozy and welcoming cafe located across from Heavens & the Saint in Hoorn. The owners, Myra and Daniel, offer a completely vegetarian menu with many vegan options available. They also provide traditional cafe dishes with plant-based alternatives. The restaurant offers shared dining as well as classic main courses and starters for lunch, dinner, and drinks. Additionally, they have a changing weekly special every week. It's recommended to make reservations due to its small size and popularity.
A great vegetarian gem in Hoorn! The food was very good and interesting, they offer different cuisines it was hard to choose what to order! The waiters are really nice and attentive. We enjoyed seating outside and having our meal under the sun. I would go again!

We ordered coffee and hot chocolate to go. Both were quite tasty, but the portions were very small.
Olga D — Google review
It occurs to me that too often, I only leave reviews for the places I like. Sigh. I shall try not do that in future. But here is another one that I like. It’s a 100% vegetarian (not vegan entirely) restaurant/bar - just have a drink if that’s all you want. Spirits and a good selection of beers including draft. Long and frequent opening hours and that’s welcome in Hoorn lol. Very good, pleasant and attentive service. I even had the food here and I am a carnivore. Really good! It’s small and civilised so don’t go looking for a party!

We had a super delicious lunch in great ambiance right by the big church in Hoorn, which is now a hotel. Since our daughter has celiac disease, we have to be extra careful with the preparation. This concern could take us the owner. She was very friendly and pointed out the gluten-free dishes to us. So they have a separate fryer here without gluten contamination. We will be back again.

We went to Goos twice and loved the numerous veggie options - super tasty!

Great fun and safe for kids of all ages.

For just One euro a child you'll get access to the cityplayground of Hoorn. There are a lot of great obstacles for kids to play on. There is also a small restaurant to order simple food and ice-cream. A lot of parkingspace as well. Worth a visit.

Cheap, well maintained playground. It's not too big, but offers a few hours of fun for the kids. Mainly for children between 3 and 7, older ones will be bored quickly. There's a simple eatery, providing snacks and ice-cream. Great terrace to sit outside, while still being able to have an overview of the full playground.

Nestled right by the picturesque Hoornse Hop, Grand Café Restaurant ’t Hop offers a delightful dining experience with stunning views of the Markermeer. Whether you're in the mood for a satisfying lunch, an elegant dinner, or simply a casual drink, this charming spot has you covered. With its spacious terrace, it's the perfect place to unwind and savor delicious bites while basking in the sun on warm summer days.
The view from this restaurant is great! Could stand to have one more vegetarian dish that does not involve French or goat cheese 🙈

Nice place for a summer drink but in winter the wind will blow you away trying to get there haha 😅, luckyly they have an inside restaurant with a nice view to the lake.
Fiorella C — Google review
The service is incredibly slow and pays no attention to guests at the terrace. The table near us had to remind the waiter about us sitting in the corner and asking to make an order for 20 minutes. They served us food first, and we had to wait for another 5 minutes for the drinks. Who does this in hospitality? They also didn't bring any ashtray through the whole time although they said they will. The male staff member was very polite. The staff first took the order from us and then cleaned the dirty table from previous guests only after we reminded them this is not ours. The tables around us weren't clean at all. We saw at least 3x staff members and the terrace and indoors were half empty. I think the staff members need somw better training, some better managament and/or a push in any form. We saw some other people similarly annoyed, some walked away. What a pitty for such a good spot!

Here with the Amuse tour early in the day. I finished my wine and food and then politely asked for a glass of water - it was 28 degrees outside - and despite being a paying customer I was given a plastic glass and sent downstairs to fill it in the toilet! What kind of service is this?! Unimpressed.
Michelle H — Google review
The waitresses are not very customer friendly and I might even wanna say rude in dealing with the customers. We changed the seat after letting one waitress know and ordered more drinks. The one who served didn't notice the change which was the duty of the first waitress. The server treated us rude, arguing with us and even corrected us how to behave.

Restaurant
The Saint Food and Wine is a welcoming spot for food and wine enthusiasts, located on the ground floor of the Heavens Hotel within the majestic Grote Kerk. The warm and modern decor incorporates characteristic elements of the building. This unique restaurant, situated in the Grote Kerk on Kerkplein, offers a beautiful dining experience with a lovely terrace for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I honestly had the best time here. The quality of the food is high and the menu is short but curated guaranteeing a great experience. And the price was very reasonable considering the level delivered.
Alexander B — Google review
It's a very unique restaurant and hotel in the church. The quality of the products was good.
Sergei Z — Google review
Beautiful location, amazing decoration and atmosphere but poorly trained staff and overpriced food. I am Dutch and live in Portugal - as I miss some food I asked for an off-menu dish (a Dutch specialty called “sateh”) as I believed I ordered this 1-2 years ago and liked it a lot. The waitress apparently didn’t like the ask and replied “they only serve culinary food and I should reconsider”. That didn’t felt great - but still not a show stopper as the lunch menu offered several options (mostly luxury sandwiches). We ordered a steak tartare and a Dutch shrimp croquet sandwich. Each sandwich was priced over 17 euros - hence expectations were set. When the food arrived, we were surprised with the minimalist portion of tartare (a soup spoon full) as well as the lack of almost any shrimp in the croquettes (we found 3 - remember Dutch shrimps are very tiny). No salad to the side, no side dishes and everything was served on a hotdog style bread. While the food was freshly made and the croquettes were tasty (but contained merely only ragout and no “meat”) - we felt we paid way too much for these dishes and were sorry we stayed after the initial remark of the waitress. It is a pity as the restaurant itself is absolutely amazing, but a strong signal it was nearly empty during lunchtime on a Saturday beautiful afternoon with the busy local market out on the street. The manager who we shared our unhappiness was very friendly, but there was no spontaneous initiative to make us leave happier. A small Dutch drink (oranjebitter or something else locally) when delivering the bill would likely have prevented this negative review. I usually do not leave a review for a place which I have negative feelings - I prefer to push forward what is good in life, I just could not leave this one.
Robin H — Google review
The restaurant is beautiful, the location is great, with parking space close by. The atmosphere is lovely. But the food is a total dissapointment. We had the filled eggs with caviar as a starter and that was very very dissapointing. The eggs were literally taken out of the fridge, cut open and had some sauce put on top with caviar. It was not enjoyable. Filled eggs are supposed to be actually filled, not with something on top. We then had the zuurkool salade with parelhoen, but that was not tasty. We also irdered the noodles with mushrooms and that was tasteless. I even had to ask for salt and pepper for it. We didn’t like it. The kafswang was not great but nod bad, it was a very small portion though. The fish was good but nothing special. Only one carrot as “zilte groenten”. We also ordered fries and “salad” On the side, but the salad was only lettuce. It was dissapointing. The desserts (creme bruilee and tarte tatin) were very good. We won’t recommend this restaurant.
Lina P — Google review
We spend a great evening. Restaurant is very stylish but not overwhelming. I love the bar where you could see ceiling of that old church and other details reminding history of the place. But this is not all what The Saint offer. Meal we order were delicious. Vegetarian quiche was full of taste and beef bourguignon tender and juicy. There is variety of wine selection and if you cannot make decision, you can count on advice of the service.
Kasia G — Google review
We had a negative experience and would not recommend. We asked for nojitos, which were on their online menu, but the waiter said they don't do that and brought us a paper menu. He came back to take our order and made us feel pressured to choose, even if we were not really ready. The list of mocktails on their new menu only has 3 items and they are not described, so we too one of each and were quite disappointed: all 3 were very basic, premade drinks with barely any add-ons. I wonder, how are they not be able to make a simple nojito. They also forgot one coffee, and we had to go ask for it. Turns out they did not note it down when taking the order, and claimed we did not ask for it. They took a good 15 minutes to deliver that coffee then. Overall, it was close to 1 hour later when we had something to drink on the table for everyone. When they brought the bill, they forgot some items, which we corrected. Honestly very surprised by the general sloppines and unprofessionalism, at such a special location. Really put a dent on our stay.

Pizzas are very small compared to smaller restaurants but cost more unless you dine in or pick up. Delivery radius is not big enough. Dine in isn't inviting and actually rather cold (both the vibe and tempertature in the sitting area).

(Translated by Google) The foe yong hai was a lot, and also way too salty. We've been coming here for years, and the food is always excellent, including the foe yong hai. But this time we simply couldn't eat the foe yang hai. All the egg in the container was twice as salty as usual; it wouldn't have been good if we ate it. The chef really overdid it and ended up selling it anyway. I think this is a real shame, especially considering the price, and it's just a waste of food. We also don't order the ketjap balls anymore because they were always overcooked the last few times. Like many other reviews, I think Lin Wah has unfortunately deteriorated significantly in recent years.

(Translated by Google) Always ordered food. Often good but what we got yesterday was really not okay. The sauce and that has been the case for months is as thin as water. That is not a sauce come on. They fill the container with vegetables and I seriously counted how many pieces of meat were in it. But only 4 and in the other container 5 pieces. Then you pay 21 euros for a container of meat with 4 pieces. Scandalous. And the meat did not taste good either. Very bland. Just not what we were used to. So no more for us here. (Original) Bestelde altijd eten. Schandalig. En het vlees smaakte ook niet lekker. Heel flauw. Gewoon niet wat we gewend waren. Hier niet meer voor ons dus.
