Spiaggia di Marinella is a large, comfortable and equipped beach known for its turquoise waters. The sand is soft and the water clear, making it an ideal spot for families and snorkeling enthusiasts. While it can get crowded in July, the easy access and nearby amenities make it a great vacation spot. Although sunbeds can be expensive, visitors recommend bringing towels instead.
Sandy beach with many kiosk providing service. We went here beginning of May on a stormy day so most store remain closed. The beach however is beautiful, worth visiting 👍
Phuong N — Google review
Gorgeous beach, kid-friendly and with beautiful clear water. Very well equipped, with a cafe, a restaurant, and boat/windsurf/jetski rental.
Lorenzo C — Google review
Absolutely stupid!!! There is a parking there marked as private land - stop / no entry: where are hundreds of cars parked with no logic, super bad pebbles road, if you get lucky like me, you can semi-block 1-2 cars and get to the beach, where you will get like a Monaco €30 sandwitch… this is just Italy… better chose Greece.
Cosmin R — Google review
Very nice beach, super wide with crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming or just relaxing. The downside is that beach clubs take up a lot of the public space, which can make it a bit uncomfortable. On the plus side, there’s a free parking area close by, which is very convenient.
Rodri D — Google review
Absolutely beautiful...the water was so clear. It was busy but didn't feel as over crowded as some we have been too.
Sam J — Google review
Beautiful sea in this sheltered bay. It's a narrow and very busy beach with prebooked sun loungers. We got 2 on the day with an umbrella for 50 euros 😶 Friendly and respectful beach sellers. Pay on exit carpark.
Edwina J — Google review
This beach seems to be limited access (only accessible to certain hotels and residences that border it). It is quiet (even during peak season), with plenty of space. Sand is a bit rough, but not terrible. Has a bathroom, and has sellers of food & refreshments. Can rent an umbrella and chair.
Adam H — Google review
Nice beach with crystal clear waters. 4 stars as there are much nicer beaches in Sardinia. Very toddler friendly and a large parking lot

Lovely little street food place with a magnificent view. The octopus salad and porchetta sandwich were very good. Service was good and there are lot of options to choose from. Try this place out when you are in the area!

Very good and delicious Porchetta Sandwich BUT the sandwich bread was the cheapest on earth ,dry . Overall lovely lady and good services

Fantastic food by Jessy! Super friendly service. Great choice of food from fish, burgers, meats, salads, deserts and drinks. Breathtaking views, worth the stop!! Grazie Jessy

A roadside stand with really tasty paninis - the best we’ve had in Sardinia 😋 The lady who runs the shop is very funny and creates a great vibe. She jokes around and plays fun music while you enjoy the view and food. We had the cotoletta and salsiccia with chicory - salsiccia being the stand out! We will definitely be back before we leave Sardinia!
Claudia P — Google review
Great food truck owned by a cool lady located at a beautiful look out point. Watch the sun set while eating a porchetta sandwich with provolone or octopus sandwich! ** Tip text the number ahead of time to find out timings as they can vary from what Google says.

Fantastic experience here - asked for what options they had for gluten free and they pulled out all the stops to make sure I was happy. Ended up with a beautiful ham and mozzarella sandwich that tasted incredible. Thank you! The view is pretty special as well!

Cala Sabina is a stunning beach located near Capo Figari in Sardinia, Italy. Accessible by train along the promontory, this sandy shore boasts a Caribbean-like appearance with fine golden sand and clear turquoise waters. The beach is surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation and framed by a granite promontory, creating a picturesque setting for visitors to enjoy.
Very cool spot to watch the sunset. Nice areas to climb on the rocks and snorkel and a water obstacle course too. There is a very hip beach bar playing cool music and serving good food and drinks too.
Chloe R — Google review
The beach is a bit harder to get to, so less people, which is great.
Alistair G — Google review
Ok beach. If you take a walk to the beach next to this one it’s a bit less crowded but also smaller. Not a lot of space but still better
Michel S — Google review
this was one of the best beaches we visited in our 3 week stay in August. Many others were great , with one major issue - overcrowded, this one wasnt. It has all necessary facilities, parking, a great restaurant (a bit pricey though), plenty of space and crystal clear water.
Daniel J — Google review
Went to this beach 5 days ago. Beach was busy but lovely sea. Beach bar provides great food and place also becomes a beach club in the evening. great place to watch sunsets. parking prices updated.
Michelle A — Google review
We visited this beach at the end of June and were absolutely amazed. The water is a stunning turquoise blue, and the sand is soft and white – truly picture-perfect. It’s also ideal for families with small children, as the shoreline is very shallow and safe for little ones to play. There’s a beach bar and a restaurant on site, as well as showers, which makes spending the whole day there very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, especially towards children, which created a very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We watched the sunset there twice – it was absolutely wonderful and made the experience even more special.

Perfect beach, not too crowded as many others. Very good connection by train from Olbia. Somehow Google shows the route only to the beach club there.

Sos Aranzos Beach is a picturesque white sandy beach with crystal clear waters located near the town of Golfo Aranci. It's easily accessible by a short drive and offers various water sports activities such as windsurfing and snorkeling. The beach may get crowded during peak season due to its limited space. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions like Tavolara island, which features stunning beaches like Spalmatore beach.
Lovely little beach with some room to sit. Challenging to arrive via public transport as you have to catch a bus then walk for 20 minutes down a freeway then a rocky road. Nice cafe next to the beach which has some great affordable food and drink options too (with lovely service).
Shalysse R — Google review
Good place especially for kids, the water is not deep and not cold. there's parking fee (10euro per day if I remember well)
Donghan L — Google review

Beautiful beach, stanning vews and clear water. Hiwever, the free space is a very small corner. Recommended only if you don't mind paying for the sunbeds, there are planty available.
Valentina P — Google review
Very nice beach. Only few people in June. Good snorkeling. Bar with services. Nice white sand.
Luigi T — Google review
Beautiful clean beach. The sand glitters! Snorkelling is fun as there are fish who stay close to the shoreline all day. Views of passing Yatchts, ferries, cruise ships and sailing boats dotted around the bay. Delicious coffee at the beach cafe. 😍

Beautiful beach, amazing bay, lotsa fishes. A bit bad the road to get to it though. Payed parking, 1 euro per hour or 7 all day. It deserves a trip.

Il Nodo is a charming spot nestled in an idyllic port, perfect for those looking to enjoy authentic local cuisine without the tourist markups. Many visitors find themselves returning multiple times during their stay, drawn by the reasonable prices and delightful dishes. The catch of the day paired with good wine has received rave reviews, while breakfast offers a lovely view of boats at the marina—though options may be limited early on.
We had a lovely breakfast looking at all the boats right in front of the marina. Not much choice of croissants even if it was quite early.. The lady at the counter was very nice, super attentive. Overall perfect for a quick stop before going to the beach!

very decent place in the area. the food worths the reasonable price. I kept coming back here a few times during my stay. The Tiramisu was so good but they usually sold out even when it was 7pm, a bit unfortunate but every other thing was good. they offered digestivi shots at the end too!
Hoang D — Google review
I’d consider to go elsewhere for a dinner. Service mixed our order, it can happen, however the food doesn’t give a credit to Italy. Salad was plain. We were expecting vegetarian got a canned tuna in the middle, a few leaves of basic letuce carrot and rucola. Gnocchetti ragu was terrible. Tasted like it was made out of ready to cook meal from your grocery shop. The cheap versions of a ready to cook food. Slow service, waited for a second meal around 10 minutes. Waiters were confused. Did not expect to get a food and service like this in this area. One good thing, the singer and musicians were great!
Marek S — Google review
If you want to eat where the locals eat this is the place to go. No expensive tourist prices here and great local food. As with all restaurants avoid peak times and you will have the best experience.
Frank S — Google review
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The food was ok, quite hit or miss. The calamari was a bit too tough for my liking, the beef was very tender and juicy though. The drinks were delicous and not too pricey. They had a bit of an ant plague, which they tried their best to stop. The view towards the port was very pretty.
Tiffany L — Google review
Not bad, but also not excellent. The food was good, the personal was ok and the view was also great. In my opinion the Pizza was acceptable, but I've had better Pizza. That is the only reason why I didn't rate this restaurant 5 stars.

Il Regolo is an exclusive seaside restaurant located on the beach in Marinella, offering a perfect setting for breakfast by the sea, fresh seafood lunches and dinners, and delightful cocktails. The restaurant prides itself on serving high-quality dishes and an excellent selection of wines. Guests can enjoy attentive service with a charming atmosphere and great views. Additionally, Il Regolo offers vegan and healthy options along with a fantastic wine selection.
Honestly one of the best spots on the island! At first you think it’s a little pricey but for what you get it’s a bargain! Snacks constantly brought to the table, best cocktails we’ve had on the island and super friendly staff despite our terrible Italian! We even asked for the bill but there was a breakdown in communication where they thought we ordered more drinks- they gave us the drinks for free to say sorry! Obvs leaving a tip for that kind of service!
Rebecca T — Google review
We had a very good experience at this place. Proper sunbeds with great food. It is a bit pricey, but we had a good service and finally someone spoke English (it’s rare to find people speaking English in Sardinia) and we were able to communicate. Our time there was very relaxing.

This is one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. The juiciness and flavor were exactly what great meat should be – 100% spot on!! You need to try it!!! And they have glutenfree bread and guttiau that was delicious! Thank you Fabio for the professional and warm service🙏🏼✨

Cannot agree with the negative reviews. One of the best spaghetti vongole, never tasted them with botarga (fish eggs), a lot of vongole and proper size… yes you pay 30€ for this dish but it totally deserves it. I was served very well but I was almost alone at 15:30, in any case the chef did not close the kitchen just to set up my lunch ready… amazing. Las surprise came with a recommendation for a local liquor, and the coffee, first time they serve it right in 3 days in Sardigna. All in all, highly recommended.

A scam & catastrophy It didn’t start good. We where ignored at the table for the first half an hour, though we asked if we could atleast order the drinks. With that as an input we should have left. Finally the waitress arrived and explained the menu verbally. No printed menus where available. No prices, no english. With that as an input we should have left. Though, we where starving so we ordered Vongole. When the meals finally arrived they were extremely small, only 3 clams opened - the rest without clams or unopened- and with tracks of sand that crushed in our mouths. An insult to the Italian cousine. We should have left. So we asked for the bill. They wanted to charge us 10 euro/person for services. Anyone who has been in the area knows that they normaly charge 2-4 euro/person. A scam! When we pointed this out they became aggressive. We finally left! Big warning - don’t go here!
Olle T — Google review
The food was amazing and one of the most gourmet food I've ever had in my life. I was really surprised, because I didn't expect the food to be that good. The personal was nice and also there was a DJ, but the music was in my opinion a little too loud. I recommend the food 10/10, also the nice location right next to the beach. The only thing you must be aware of is that the price is really high and also the "coperto" costs a lot (+15 €).

Nestled by the sea, Yachting Club Vela Blu is a charming spot that perfectly blends the essence of a pizzeria with the ambiance of a delightful restaurant. Having visited multiple times during my boat trips in Sardinia, I can confidently say their pizza is exceptional—even for someone who isn't usually a fan! The octopus and mussels are standout dishes that truly showcase their culinary skills.
We had a fantastic experience here!! The service was great. The staff were good and the pizza was unbelievable!! Great to go for drinks or any of the main meals!! Well done. It may have been the people I was with that made it extra special, but the offering is good!!
Buyisiwe V — Google review
Well located, this club is a pizzeria with a few tables close to the sea. I honestly though it was more a restaurant while their offer is 5 dishes and 20/30 pizzas. Anyways I appreciated the overall quality of what we have eaten (both pizza and dishes). Best dish I strongly recommend: impepata di cozze (mussels). Price ok. Service ok (they asked us to change table after we sat which wasn’t ideal)

Really nice place to lunch or take an aperitivo. Nice and cooperative service. Good food, we lunch cozze and linguine vongole with botarga, 3 ignusas and wine. 80€ Great Aperol Spritz in the late afternoon. We will come back

The guys are great , we visited these place several time during our boat trip in Sardinia , I am not the big fan of pizza , but they do it very well, the octopus for main dish was also nice and the best mussels , the waiters is so nice and happy, especially women with piercing in the nose , unfortunately do not remember her name she is the best one, our big company of 9 pax would like to appreciate the staff and place

We went there with some friends. We got some grilled Pecorino, octopus with potatoes, pecorino cheese cream as appetizers, then we had some Zuppa Gallurese, guilt-head bream, a hole squid and 3 Deserts. We would definitely recommend to try the Dolce Della Casa, a cone made out of carasau bread filled with pistachio ice cream, ricotta cheese, fresh peaches and sauce. The Zuppa Gallurese was also very very tasty. We also had 2 bottles of Vermentino wine. Very good food, very honest prices and an attentive service. The location is not wonderful but not bad either.

The owners/servers speak English very well. On the beach AND the nearest marina street. Take a look at the desserts in the display case as you enter. This place is just a dream! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Sardinia :) The service was great; the waiters were very attentive and friendly. As a starter we had the dish with artichoke and our main dishes were the risotto with fennel, gamba’s and parmesan and the spaghetti with clams. We loved all of them! Everything is locally sourced and tasted very fresh! Also the drinks are good. For dessert they come to your table with a cart filled with the most delicious desserts and you can pick the one that speaks the most to you. We went for the tiramisu, and loved it as well. It is a bit expensive, but I thought it was worth it since besides the good service and food you also have a spectaculair view. I loved the vibes!

I really would recommend a visit if you’re staying close by. The service was excellent - thank you. We had the octopus with Jerusalem artichoke to start which was delicious and then I had the prawn and fennel risotto which is almost certainly the best risotto I have ever had and I wanted to hug the chef! The tiramisu for desert was ok but would personally prefer a boozier and stronger flavour. Would gladly return. Thank you to the whole team for your efforts.

Beach
Prima Spiaggia Golfo Aranci is a family-friendly beach located in front of Via Cristoforo Colombo, northeast of the village's port. It offers a relaxing and quiet atmosphere with few shops, plenty of restaurants, and gelaterias. The beach provides a perfect view of the harbor and is great for romantic couples seeking an intimate holiday experience. While there is no nightlife, it's ideal for those looking for a peaceful vacation.
Beautiful, clean, quiet beach…. Good if you are staying with kids, sand is clean and the water is not too deep…So many nice restaurants around…

A beech within a calm and tranquil bay, a little less picturesque than some near-neighbours, but markedly less busy and with good facilities near by 👍🏻

Relaxing and quite. Few shops, plenty of resturaunts and gelatelarias. Places to walk and lovely beaches A small and intimate place to holiday. Great for romantic couples. No nightlife so is great for a quiet holiday.

A nice and quiet public beach that is worth to visit for maximum chill. No functional showers there but good possibilities to eat freshest fish at the harbour market.

Beach
Spiaggia di Cala Moresca is a hidden gem located in Golfo Aranci, featuring impressive cliffs, scattered pine trees, and golden sands. The beach is situated in a small bay near Spiaggia Bianca and offers Caribbean-quality waters. It consists of two beaches with fine golden sand and a verdant promontory of Capo Figari nearby. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling around the rock formations and relax comfortably on the soft sandy beach.
Super spot after a 10 mins walk from the parking lot. E true gem! Cristal water, some fish, and very calm early in the morning ☀️

Little ways walk to the beach but this place was so cool. Nice spot for a swim and to sit & hang out.
Anna S — Google review
Beautiful sheltered cove, it’s an easy 15 minute walk from the car park, car park is located down a dirt track which advises no stopping, keep driving you will see sign for parking with tickets via card machine. Lots of little fish in the shallows, really gorgeous location.
Danielle B — Google review
Good beach but a bit dirty. It’s pretty small also. The walk is easy and flat and takes 15 mins from the paid parking which is located at (40.9883930, 9.6356491). The beach has a beautiful view and is one of the less touristic ones although still gets pretty crowded towards the midday. The fact that it’s not super clean makes it a bit less appealing. There is plenty of fish though at the end of August (including schools of really small fish) so snorkeling is really interesting - probably the most interesting snorkeling in Sardinia I’ve seen. The view from the beach itself is also pretty picturesque. I would not go there deliberately if the road takes more than 1h and maybe would not repeat several times but definitely good to check it out at least once in your trip.

Amazing beach! I stayed there until dusk :) I parked my car a bit (650m) before the official parking on a different parking lot for free :)

Coco Drink is a delightful spot that perfectly captures the essence of beachside relaxation. Nestled right by the shore, it offers stunning sea views from shaded tables, making it an ideal lunch destination. While the staff may not be fluent in English, ordering is still manageable with a little creativity—using translation apps or picking up some basic Italian phrases can enhance your experience. The wait time for food is impressively short, and while the cuisine might not be gourmet, it's certainly satisfying.
Great place for a drink or coffee, directly at the beach. The staff was very friendly and they also accept credit cards.
Tamas G — Google review
I dont understand bad reviews. Its called Coco Drink and not Coco Restaurant… to have feeling to be treated like in restaurant lol… We came at lunch time. Table in shadow with seaview! Perfect. Staff dont speak English but you can order. Of course you can use app translators when you dont understand dish in menu… or try to learn some easy language Italian … Time between order and food delivery was short. Food was good! No problem with anything… you can visit this place … If you are not picky like other customers with bad reviews… boss probably understand customers reviews and learnt from the past..
Michaela H — Google review
This café is all about the location, not the food. It’s right by the beach, so yes—the prices are a bit high, but that’s kind of expected. The vibe is super chill though. Tables are set under trees, which gives you some nice shade and makes the heat much more bearable. A pleasant place to spend the afternoon with a drink in hand. But I wouldn’t go for the food. It doesn’t feel like much care goes into what they serve—I ordered a panini and, honestly, it was just a cold sandwich thrown together without much care—definitely not what you’d expect. It doesn’t feel like much effort goes into what they serve. Come for the view and the laid-back atmosphere, not the menu.

Good was okay, but the view was perfect. Really friendly and honest owner.
Thomas Z — Google review
We arrived and found a table, eventually we were told it was table service we waited another 10 minutes before anyone arrived, we went to order and was asked English? We said yes and he went away for another 10 mins without any explanation. The order was then taken, drinks took another 15 mins, the 4 panini then arrived, all were wrong. Another 20mins later the correct ones arrived, the rolls were at best very stale, apart from a couple of bites the food was left uneaten. Terrible food, terrible unfriendly service.
Mark W — Google review
Very poor service and expensive drinks, but nice view along the beach.
Fredrik S — Google review
Very poor service. If and when your food is coming is a lottery. Quality of the food compared to prize is expensive. Location is the only thing this joint has to offer.
MortenP — Google review
Don’t go for food! Waited 25 mins for our order to be taken, then a further 20 mins for our drinks to come, then an additional 20 mins for the wrong food to arrive. Finally got our food (paninis) absolutely awful, bread stale filling not great and we barely ate half of it! Staff miserable and felt like we were an inconvenience. I would not recommend.

Ristorante La Spigola is an exquisite beachfront establishment renowned for its delectable seafood pasta offerings and its inviting outdoor seating area. The cuisine and service are both exceptional, with the waitstaff providing valuable suggestions and recommendations without being intrusive. A delightful surprise awaits patrons in the form of complimentary amuse bouche and petit four, which add to the overall culinary experience.

Amazing experience for this seafood restaurant in Golf Aranci with Incredible view over the sea. We’ve chosen tasting menu, the waiter was very accommodating as some of us didn’t eat raw fish, so the menu was customized for them, we really recommend this experience especially that the chef is really keen to protect the sea environment! We will definitely come back

It’s like a fine dining restaurant. Foods and portions don’t deserve their price. Prices are very high, main courses are 36€ and starters 24€ but you can’t feel ful after eating one main course and one starter. Starters cannot be counted as a portion they are very little. We ordered a mereng as a dessert. It was the most basic dessert I have ever ate and it did’t even taste good. Just don’t waste your money by going there.

Fine dining family restaurant that focuses on local produce and sustainability. You’re literally sitting in the sand which is novel. We had a group of 7 without a booking at dinner time and it was no drama and impeccable service. They provided extra tasting items, and all the dishes were delicious. Very seafood focused. Thanks for a wonderful experience

Restaurant
Ristorante Pizzeria Da Andrea is a must-visit gem nestled in a stunning location, perfect for those looking to indulge in an unforgettable dining experience. During my recent holiday, I had the pleasure of enjoying dinner there with my family, and it truly stood out as the highlight of our trip. The restaurant boasts a charming outdoor square that enhances its inviting atmosphere. The service was both professional and warm, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
Extremely beautiful place. Staff is very friendly. It's family friendly. Pizzas are really good there. The seafood platter was not the hit, but whole fish grilled is worth it. Their pasta is really an experience, that will make you realize how pasta can be different.

Absolutely amazing seafood restaurant! This place is a real gem for fish and seafood lovers. Every dish we ordered was incredibly delicious and fresh — you can truly taste the quality. From appetizers to mains, everything was perfect. The service was also outstanding — friendly, attentive, and professional. I’m giving my highest rating to this restaurant. 100% recommended!

A small Italian restaurant located close to the beach, hotel, and bar. It has a fairly large menu with plenty of options to choose from. Note for tourists: there are many varieties of pizza, pasta, and traditional Italian desserts. Gluten-free pasta is available, but unfortunately, there are no gluten-free pizzas. Overall, the food was delicious and we were satisfied.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to the beach hoping to grab a pizza for lunch. While at first we were disappointed to find that pizza is only served in the evenings, we were blown away by the quality of the pasta dishes that we ordered instead. I ordered the spaghetti alle vongole and it was one of my favorite dishes that I had my entire trip to Sardegna! The mussel antipasto was also delicious and the quantity was amazing. The service was also extremely friendly (some of the nicest on our trip to Italy) and I really enjoyed speaking in my very basic Italian with our waitress. Another worker also was very kind in helping us choose a dessert. The semifreddo di mirto cannot be missed! Overall, I am so glad we stumbled upon Ristorante Pizzeria da Andrea. What was meant to be a quick lunch before the beach turned out to be one of our more memorable meals on the island!

Good pizzeria/restaurant. Perfect for families with children of all ages. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We've had a starter, a typical Sardegna"gnocchi" for the kids and second dish of fish. Everything very tasty and good. To complete the meal we've had the home made "Dolci": Saedas, semifreddo al mirtillo and panna cotta with caramello. Those were delicious! The price was reasonable, considering that we were in four and we had a fish dinner. I'm missing the fifth star only because it a windy evening and while eating a paper napkin flew away from a table and ran into my feet. Nothing to be worried about, but a little of more attention is worth it.

Location is great but the service is not what I expected from a day beach. It costs 45€ in July for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. There is no service directly at the sunbed. You have to go to the restaurant / bar to get something. During the whole day noboday checked if we needed something. When we decided to have lunch, around 2:30PM, we were told that the kitchen was closed and we could only get a small sandwich. If would have been great to know in advance and I was expecting to have a least small snacks available during the afternoon such as French fries, ...

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Tavolara Island. Not quite as popular as Cala Moresca, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Tavolara Island is a rugged limestone island located in north-eastern Sardinia - Gallura, known for its towering cliffs, beautiful beaches, and dive sites. The island offers basic amenities including a restaurant. It is part of a protected marine area spanning 15,000 hectares that has preserved its environmental heritage and diverse fish fauna.
Beautiful place. Only half an hour away on a boat. 3 restaurants and a very nice outdoor seating area. I loved the wild beaches only a short walk away from the port. Definitely recommended for beach lovers

What to say? Tavolara Island is one of the most beautiful island within the Sardinia island. Its visible almost from all the eastern coast. And its a paradise. Beautiful beaches and hikes and crystal clear water all around. You can reach it with a 16 euros (return) ticket on a little shuttle boat easily from Porto San Paolo. A must!
Giulio A — Google review
Must go on a hike here if you're into fun and adventure and are fit and not afraid of heights. The beach there is also spectacular and the view is nothing short of amazing. There are restaurants of different kinds there that were reasonably priced.
Ramy G — Google review
We paid €40 for a parasol with sunbeds, but apparently you have to reserve in advance for the first row — something we weren’t told and couldn’t find out how to do. By 4:00 PM, many spots in the front row were still empty. It felt more like a power play than a real reservation system. This kind of management needs to be addressed — even the king should step in and fix it.
Rizoholland — Google review
Tavolara Island is a breathtaking little paradise near Sardinia — a handful of families, a beach, and a few restaurants that feel like heaven. Dinner under soft lights with lobster pasta and a sea view made it unforgettable. The isolation, cliffs, and quiet make it pure luxury for the soul. 🌅🍷
Silver G — Google review
The trip to Tavolara with the boat Falcone was a nice experience, a fast crossing with a nice crew to reach Tavolara's beach, very welcoming with cafés and restaurants. The experience to the Piscine of Island Molara is recommended in summer for a nice diving moment and new panoramas. Affordable price, recommended arriving a little earlier to find parking for getting to the harbour in the little village of Porto San Paolo.

This might be my fav beach on this coast I went there evenings for swimming and just chilling in a not crowded place as this coast tend to be. The road down to the free parking lot might get bumpy and you have to be careful, otherwise all good. Each evening around 17:00-18:00 you could find free parking spots. Great for snorkelling 🤿 as well Be careful if you remain still in the water, the fish might bite you 🫣

Secluded little coves, one beach with amenities, then one smaller with just sand, one with just rocks, one with a tiki bar :) very steep and bumpy dirt road, that doubles as free parking. Small car recommended. Sea is beautiful and diverse, white sand, rocks, fields of seagrass mixed, great for a quick snorkeling.

The restaurant takes advantage of its prime location by offering stunning views of the bay of Golfo Aranci, making it an ideal setting for a memorable evening meal.
Stayed on the Gabbiano Azzurro hotel beach for the day and had lunch at their beautiful restaurant overlooking the spectacular Golfo Aranci bay. The service was exceptional with young and old staff waiting. We had a tuna sals and Octopus salad to start followed by a veal milanese and fried seafood with chips. A beautiful spot next to the water, service impeccable and food gorgeous. We went twice, for lunch and dinner, the menus different for each visit, we started with ceviche which was lovely and fresh, then a starter of pasta (cooked to perfection - well we are in Italy!) and a main, for lunch this was swordfish (not a large plate), and dinner the suckling pig. Only small point, warm bread would have been nice. Highly recommend.

Excellent service with a beautiful sea view from the outdoor terrace. In the summer, it’s most pleasant after the sun has set. Terza Spiaggia is a popular restaurant in Golfo Aranci known for its stunning location overlooking white sandy beaches and beautiful ocean views. The menu features fresh Mediterranean cuisine, with some ingredients sourced directly from the sea. Visitors can enjoy excellent coffee at the beachside bar restaurant. The beach itself offers crystal-clear shallow waters, making it perfect for children to play and swim safely. Additionally, there are umbrella and sunbed rentals available for those looking to relax by the water.
This beach is a beautiful and peaceful spot, perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. One of the best things about it is how shallow the water is — you can walk out for several meters and the water remains comfortably shallow, making it ideal for families with small children. The sea is calm, with no waves at all, so it feels very safe and relaxing. The water is crystal clear and has a pleasant temperature, which makes swimming and just floating around an absolute pleasure. It’s a great place for those who enjoy calm, clean waters and a laid-back atmosphere. The only thing to keep in mind is that the beach itself doesn’t have a lot of space, so it can fill up quickly. It’s best to arrive early if you want to secure a good spot, especially during high season or weekends. Overall, it’s a lovely beach for a peaceful swim, great for families, couples, or anyone who just wants to unwind in beautiful surroundings.

Amazing, shallow water, great for kids, but you have to arrive early to get a spot or be a hotel guest. We wouldn’t get a spot even though there where plenty ones empty but unfortunately they wouldn’t rent it to us because they said all the spots are taken…(during or stay of approx 2h none of these spots was taken but maybe not being a hotel guest made us be unworthy lol) Beside that we had one of our best beach experience ever, cause the water is stunning and due to the high salt concentration you can easily float on top of the water for hours.

Beach
Spiaggia Baia Caddinas is a small, approximately 70m long bay located behind the Hotel Baia Caddinas in Golfo Aranci. It offers a sense of privacy due to its relatively small size and is surrounded by rocks on both sides. The beach is family-friendly and popular for swimming and snorkeling, especially during the high season. Additionally, it features beautiful views and clear waters, making it an ideal spot for relaxation.
Beautiful beach, good for snorkel and paddle board and a great restaurant and bar!

Lovely quiet beach with a cafe, bar and restaurant. It’s worth noting that there are some storm drains that run into the sea, so if there’s lots of rain the sea can get rather murky. Other than that, it’s lovely! The restaurant is nice too, had some lovely seafood from there.

Where nice and clean beach. The sand is white and sea is blue. The beach is small and part of it is taken by hotel so it can be crowded

(Translated by Google) I was in the garden room (small house) at the beginning of August 2024! The sea view was a huge stroke of luck, but it was purely a coincidence. The disadvantage: Right next to the playground and location of some events. You rarely have peace and quiet on the terrace. Another disadvantage was the very poorly functioning air conditioning, which was more of a blower, hence one star less. The hotel is located in a beautiful bay with super clean and clear water. A huge hit are the seats (lounger and umbrella) reserved for every guest, always in the same place. Therefore, the usual fuss about making reservations with towels is no longer necessary. This is a dream! Unfortunately, some of the hotel and the rooms are already getting old, including the garden room, with very few sockets, little cooling, slightly rusty shower grilles, etc., which needs to be renovated at some point. But the hotel has a lot of interesting eye-catchers, based on “Hundertwasser motifs”, in the reception hall, as well as the room, which has a round shape, as does the shower cubicle. I personally really liked the hotel. The food is delicious, the staff was super friendly! Only the next supermarket is not very close. It's all a bit remote. I didn't use the pools that belong to the hotel, but they aren't really that great either. The bus services aren't really usable either. The hotel/rooms were cleaned well and that is very important to me. In short, it was a very nice stay with beautiful scenery and great swimming. So price-performance ratio is okay! Also Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist okay!

Ristorante Vecchio Semaforo is a charming restaurant located in Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, with a maritime-themed design and outstanding service. The restaurant offers a great menu featuring fish, pasta, steak, and chicken dishes cooked to perfection. There is also a wood-fired pizza section at the far end of the kitchen. Guests can enjoy dining alfresco on the outdoor terrace with glazed doors that provide a bright and airy ambiance.
Very good. Great pizza, really tasty fish, best beer in town, and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Well deserved 5 stars. Also, many thanks to you, Andres!

Overall we had very poor experience. It was a storm and the restaurant is very poorly protected from rain, even cooking area. Restaurant was flooded. We were given pizza menu, but they couldn’t serve pizza due to rain. I had fregola with shrimp tartar: it was the most okay dish. However they served it in the boiling oil: it has not only cooked my mouth, also the tartar. Still, it was tasty. My partner had extremely salty tuna tataki. As a side dish he ordered sautéed vegetables: it was a tiny portion of steamed leaves for 7€ that they forgot to bring together with the main course. In general stuff was not attentive. When we tried to share our experience, stuff couldn’t care much.

We discovered this superb restaurant on our second evening in Golfo Aranci and dined here all but 2 of our 11 nights in Sardinia. The food is excellent with a great menu offering fish, pasta, steak and chicken all cooked to perfection. They also have a wood fired pizza at the far end and the kitchen is partially open to view. There is an outdoor terrace for dining alfresco and the glazed doors slide back providing a bright and airy ambience. There is something for everyone including homemade pasta and desserts by the shy yet talented chef. There is also a great choice of draught beer from both Italy and Belgium together with a good wine list. Great service was provided by Andrea and Nadia and we were looked after well by Marco the owner. We generally ate early as the restaurant opened and saw a lot of regular holiday diners who returned again and again who enjoyed the place as much as us. A must if you visit Golfo Aranci!

MUST TRY! Wonderful and very accommodating establishment! Food was outstanding and the service was even more amazing. We don’t speak Italian, only English, and our server Pamela was quick to come over and translate the menu for us. They didn’t have exactly what I wanted on the menu so Pamela asked the chef to curate a pasta dish for me and it was on point! Overall 10/10, will definitely be back soon.

"A Memorable Evening with Enjoyable Food" Rating: ★★★★☆+ (4.5 stars) Review: A charming restaurant with a maritime design. Outstanding service team; the owner is very friendly. Enjoyable pasta. Total cost: 85€ for two, including 2 pasta dishes, 2 salads, 3 desserts, water, a soft drink, a glass of wine, and a digestif. Location: We had a wonderful last evening of our trip to Sardinia at this restaurant. We were captivated by the maritime-themed design and the subtle decorations. The service team was exceptionally polite, and the restaurant was conveniently located within walking distance of our hotel. Food: Most importantly, the food was enjoyable. We ordered tagliolini with lamb ragu and the black (octopus ink) pasta with a plain pomodoro sauce. The pasta, which was homemade as our waiter informed us, was really good. It’s among the best we’ve had around Olbia region (including Golfo Aranci). Just be aware that the lamb ragu may contain some tougher pieces of meat and bits of fat, which is quite traditional, I suppose. After enjoying our pasta dishes, we indulged in three desserts: a homemade tiramisu (good but not extraordinary in my opinion), a delightful semi-frozen pistachio cream (though the portion size was relatively small, as is typical in mid-range and upscale restaurants. It's not on the menu, so you should ask for it), and a traditional dessert consisting of fried dough with honey (while it's a local specialty, I personally didn't find it particularly special, this one you probably won't miss not trying). Specials / Unexpected Services: After our meal, we were pleasantly surprised to be offered a complimentary local digestif, which was quite enjoyable. Since I had a cold, I mentioned that I should probably have another one. Marco, the restaurant owner, then generously offered me a selection of different grappas, and we sampled two of them together. Conclusion: This restaurant is an excellent choice for a delightful dinner with friends in a charming atmosphere, complemented by fine wine.

We were the first guests of the evening when we arrived at 18.30. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and even with just a little English, communication went well. The food was delicious, and the staff were thoughtful about helping us share dishes. The service felt personal and relaxed from start to finish. Highly recommended!

The service was amazing, tge decor was stunning and the food was very good. The staff was observant, positive and open. The bathroom lights were very dim, but otherwise an overall very good experience.

Ristorante Don Pedro is a beachside establishment in Sardinia with an attractive terrace offering reasonable prices and a welcoming atmosphere. The service provided by the friendly staff is excellent, and there is also the option to rent sunbeds and umbrellas. A large parking area is conveniently located behind the bar, free of charge. The restaurant offers moderately priced dishes ranging from 6 to 18 EUR, although portions are relatively small. Nevertheless, the quality of the food is good.
We had great experience today afternoon in pedro bar, perfect food, beautiful beach ideal for chill evening with friends or familly
Marcel G — Google review
Don Pedro is the worst establishment out of the three in Cala Sassari, which is a very beautiful beach, and should be avoided at all costs. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would definitely rate it a zero. We have visited Cala Sassari many times over the last two years and have tried all the establishments here multiple times. We have concluded that Don Pedro is a place that should never be visited. I’ll start explaining our experience from the point of renting a sunbed. Around 4 PM, we lay on a vacant sunbed in an area that wasn’t very crowded. An attendant saw us, and we made eye contact, but he didn’t come over immediately to charge us. So, we went for a swim. Half an hour later, while we were still in the sea, another employee came, touched our belongings, put them on the sand, and emptied the sunbed. We got out of the water immediately and asked what was going on. The answer we received was that the sunbed we were using had been reserved by someone else for the entire season and that it could not be rented. We questioned why the attendant who saw us when we arrived didn’t warn us from the start and why they didn’t put a “reserved” sign on the sunbed. There was no answer and no apology. This place is run by rude, disrespectful people with no sense of customer service. The day before, we had visited their restaurant. The portions were large enough, but the pricing was excessively high for the taste. If you’re going to eat at Cala Sassari, you have better options just nearby. Another point is that they charge 50 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella, even if you rent them at 4 PM. I have visited countless beaches in Sardinia, especially around this area. Generally, if you arrive at a beach in the afternoon, they charge you a “half-day” rate. However, Don Pedro will do anything to rip you off. Additionally, they have another scam concerning parking, which I provide as extra information. If you want to park on the road right in front of the entrance, they take money from you and give you a “disabled card.” This way, you won’t be fined during the daily police inspections. In fact, parking on that road is illegal. The best option is to park in the parking lot, which is already large enough, at a rate of 1.5 euros per hour during the season.

Great beach restaurant with a relaxed vibe. Prices are reasonable given the location right by the sea. We paid €47 for 2 mains, 2 beers and 2 coffees (umbrellas and chairs are on top of this) Portions were big and filling, food was ok overall, nothing fancy but a solid choice if you want a casual meal by the beach.

La Terrazza su Figarolo Home Restaurant in Golfo Aranci offers a unique and authentic dining experience with stunning views. It's a family-run restaurant where meals are prepared in the family home kitchen using fresh ingredients, including fish straight off the boat. The hosts, Tiziana and Fabio, provide warm hospitality and present the delicious food with passion. Guests can enjoy an intimate dinner while taking in the amazing view over the bay of Golfo Aranci.
I had an extraordinary dining experience today at la terazza. The home-cooked meals were both delicious and heartwarming, making it feel like a true culinary haven. Each dish was crafted with love and authenticity, bursting with fresh flavors that delighted the palate. The cozy ambiance and attentive service added to the charm, making it a perfect spot for anyone seeking a genuine, heartwarming meal. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant for an unforgettable home cooking experience.

Our visit to La terrazza was extraordinary. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfectly setting the stage for the evening. The service, provided by the charming couple who run the restaurant , was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. The food was simply outstanding, with each dish beautifully presented and full of flavours. Their wine recommendations were spot-on, enhancing the overall experience. What truly sets La terraza apart are the personal touches and the hosts’ passion for their craft. Their stories and dedication made our evening unforgettable. They really offers a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience that we will cherish forever. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience! We dined at one large table with a group of strangers, whom we got to know over the course of the dinner. The view overlooking the marina was wonderful. The hosts prepared several delicious courses accompanied by wine. They explained what each course was, what inspired it, its origin etc. Highly recommend!

I came here with my 2 sons, 12 and 15th. The food was very good.. Lot of different courses. My sons don t eat like adults and they don’t drink wine. I paid 300€, 100€ for each one of us. That’s not a fair price. There must be a price for adults that eat and drink wine and a price for kids or teenagers. For this price it was good to bring them in an upscale restaurant on the beach. So just ask the price before you go and make sure your kids don’t pay 100€ each

We visited Sardinia and went to La Terrazza su Figarolo twice. Everything there is fantastic: The delicious authentic food is prepared with fresh ingredients, fish straight off the boat and real passion for cooking. Tiziana and Fabio are warm, welcoming and polite hoste, they make guests feel at home and present the food very well. Last but not least, the view over the bay of Golfo Aranci is amazing and it is a pleasure to see Fabio at work in their beautiful kitchen. On top of that, they serve great wines that complement the food. We had two babies with us who also felt very at home - they just slept in their prams while we had some of the best food we'd ever eaten! One member of the group had some food intolerances, which Tiziana and Fabio maneuvered very well and created a fantastic menu for this person, also. If you are on Sardinia, this is a must! In fact it's worth traveling to Sardinia just for this experience!

Pozzo sacro Milis

Archaeological site
Attraction
Pozzo sacro Milis is a well-preserved sacred well from the Nuragic era, showcasing its ancient history. Despite centuries of manipulation and recent damage to its dome, it has survived almost intact. The site is a unique example among Sardinian wells and features splendid steps dating back 4000 years. Located near Golfo Aranci train station, visitors can reach the well by walking along the tracks and descending white stone steps to witness this remarkable piece of history.
How to get to the sacred well: get into the Golfo Aranci train station; once you are in front of the tracks, head to your right; walk along the tracks for a while until you reach some white stoned steps; walk down the steps; head to your right until you reach the well; enjoy.
Metalpsyche82 — Google review

Alessandra F — Google review
(Translated by Google) How to get there: from Golfo Aranci station, continue on foot along the railway line for about 300 metres. Alternatively, follow the Maps directions and cross the tracks. Obviously caution! In fact, the monument is located near the Golfo Aranci railway station, built in the nineteenth century. During the construction of the station the well was unfortunately partly demolished. However, it retains the staircase and the well chamber, of imposing proportions. The staircase, oriented south-east, is made up of approximately 40 steps and is approximately 9.50 meters long. It is built with regular rows of carefully worked shale, limestone and, more rarely, granite ashlars. The roof of the room, with steps and of particular architectural value, creates a sort of inverted staircase. The staircase leads into the well chamber, with an elliptical plan (diameter 3.00 m x 2.40 m) and with a rather slender ogive roof (height 9.29 m), now tall (originally it must have reached 11.00 m). No trace remains of the vestibule that must have preceded the monument. The monument dates back to the end of the Middle Bronze Age and was frequented in the Late Bronze Age, in the Late Bronze Age and in the Iron Age.

Gross beach. Fish farm right in front of it. This place is really disgusting: as others say there's a fish farm right there in the bay which creates nasty water with pollution and dead fish around. Murky water, bad smell, particules in suspension in the water.... This is really gross. I would never come back and swim here. I wish I had seen the reviews before coming here on an unpaved road and paying a lot for a bad parking area...

There's a huge fish farm literally 120 meters away from the beach. It's the only thing you can see when looking at the water from the beach. The water, as a result of the fish farm, is gross, murky, cloudy. Would not recommend this beach and I would surely never get in this dirty water...

(Original) Stupenda!

(Translated by Google) Cala Moresca is truly magnificent and the 15 minute walk is amply rewarded by the beauty of the cove. However, our car was broken into and all our luggage was stolen (it was our last day of vacation) in the famous little parking lot that no one was guarding that day. I would have preferred to park incorrectly and be fined than to lose everything for a swim. Tourists, be careful, cars are being targeted.

Ristorante Don Pedro is a delightful beachside eatery that perfectly captures the essence of Sardinia's coastal charm. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making every visit feel warm and welcoming. Diners can expect generous portions of freshly prepared dishes, with some favorites running out during the day—a testament to their popularity and freshness! While prices may be on the higher side, especially for drinks, they reflect the prime seaside location.
Staf very friendly and polite. Specially Simone! Awsome view and environment Food very tasty and in the right proportion Deserts are great as well! Price VS food VS landscape is fair

Clean beach, clear water, comfy sunbeds, friendly staff, shower and toiletts for customers and delicious food. All for fair prices.

Located by the harbor, Ristorante da Cinzia e Massimo offers a picturesque view and a tranquil ambiance. The personnel are welcoming, and the chef exhibits remarkable creativity in crafting delightful cocktails infused with various fruits and spices. Undoubtedly, this establishment stands out as superb. While the food is commendable, some staff members may appear disinterested in providing top-notch service to tourists. However, it is still worth visiting if one can reciprocate the level of engagement they receive.
Literally by the port with amazing view and quite atmosphere! Friendly staff and the chef is an artist!!! Especially when inventing amazing spirits with any kind of fruit and spice! Simply the best! Thanks for the great experience!

Nice food but very poor service, we waited ages for drinks, then waited a long time for food, then I had to find a waiter so I could pay the bill. Othe people at tables close to us was also complaining about the service.

Good food but staff seemingly uninterested in giving a professional service to tourists. Worth a visit though if you can give as good as you get!
