Park
Zwin Natuur Park is a 159-hectare nature reserve located in Knokke-Heist, Belgium. It features a lagoon with dunes, salt marshes, and salt pans, offering picturesque coastal hiking and cycling paths. Visitors can explore the wildlife and natural surroundings on guided tours or at their own pace. The Panorama Tower provides stunning views of the area.
Wow! What a stunning location to view the sunset, you may wanna cover yourself up in winter cos it can get pretty windy. Plenty of paid parking available and it’s not very expensive. The walking paths are amazing and the sheep and cows here are the cutest! Definitely coming back in the summer- if you’re around Bruge, it’s only a 30 min drive to this national park. Do visit!
Alfred A — Google review
Great place to learn about the local nature and the bare foot path (blotevoetenpad) was fun. Knee deep in the mud ☺️ Therese a museum where you can sit in a cockpit and fly like a bird among other things. However, i think the tickets are a bit expensive and my museum card didn't give any discount.
Arend H — Google review
The Zwin Natuur Park (nature park) is located along the Belgian-Netherlands border and offers view of the North Sea. There is an informative welcome center with a giant LEGO bird at the entrance and interactive information. The Shelter located just off of the welcome center offers guests food and beverage options. As for visiting the nature park it is recommended to buy tickets online (up to one day in advance) otherwise at the welcome center. There are also trails outside the nature park for cycling and for walking. The dunes overlooking the North Sea and the beach are nice to explore. The closest parking is paid / for a fee. Highly recommend
Nanita — Google review
We had a lovely day at Zwin Natuurpark. We could see a lot of birds at the different stations. Don’t expect to see animals like in a zoo - here they can come and go as they please. The storks just had little ones, this was great to see from the tower. Make sure to take some time for the museum. We felt they presented their infos super well to different age groups and we could have spent hours there alone. Also, it’s beautifully made.
Tom E — Google review
We visited the paid section and it was absolutely worth it. It must be great with kids too, because many of the interactive parts in the park (e.g., guides stationed here and there at different posts to give more explanation) are clearly geared toward children. But adults learn something as well! ;) My favorite feature was the birdwatching hide that uses one-way mirror glass. The "garden" it overlooks has lots of feeders, so it’s teeming with birds. I even saw a jay right in front of us! Awesome.
Tristan — Google review
Very nice activity to do near Knokke. If you don't have a bike or a car you have to walk around 3.5km from the nearest bus stop. It's a nice natural reserve, totally worth the visit.
Joe — Google review
This flat park is an absolute disappointment, not worth the time or visit. There are barely any birds, unlike the parks back home. It's just underwhelming; we came during the season, but nothing here impressed us. I'd suggest choosing another place for a nice stroll.
Irena D — Google review
The park looks interesting, but the service is poor. There is no any indication that dogs are not allowed at the parking entrance. We walked around, finally found the park entrance, there we found out our dog is not welcome. While we still need to pay the parking fee.

Ended up in this place on a rare sunny Saturday in Belgium. Loved the vibes, almost tropical in feel (but this was also due to the weather) the sand white and soft and does not stick to your feet. Knock back a couple of beers while watching the sunset. The foods good, will have to try the BBQ buffet the next time for sure! 10/10 would come back here when it's sunny again
Shaun D — Google review
Excellent beach bar. Friendly staff, good selection of drinks, sandwiches and snacks. Watch the surfing lessons with a beer. Nothing too strenuous!

Perfect spot, to escape, enjoy the vibes, feel ailleurs, dream of Africa, tropics or Mediterranean beach bars (ok yesterday it also particularly hot, so thanks to the weather that helped). P.S. salad kip and avocado was good !! Which is not to be given for granted. Pizza not home made nor Italian-style but hey, nobody’s perfect

Beach
Knokke-Strand Beach Bar is a privately managed stretch of beach in Knokke, Belgium. It offers various amenities such as sun beds, chaise lounges, and kids' play areas. The beach is known for its cool and stylish atmosphere and is considered the trendier sibling among Belgium's coastal towns. Knokke-Heist, where the beach is located, hosts numerous cultural events and boasts a vibrant beach bar scene.
Concerning the beach, during winter it's still a popular place to walk. Great vast space for kids and dogs too. Today was windy and great to reinvigorate. Small shells for kids to pick up too.

Might be cute, but service is 0. I order an ice coffee. I got this. I ask: is this an ice coffe? is it with milk? The waiter was unable to tell me if there was sugar or lactose on it. So many allergens in a glass that should have 2 ingredients: coffee and water. Intead, I got lactose, sugar, chocolate and gluten.

Good beach in Belgium touristic city. Be ready - there is a huge problem with parking spaces near beach. In hot days you probably need to park your car in 1-2 km away. Here you could find a lot of restaurants, brand shops, small markets near beach, what makes more comfortable to visit beach.

Simz is a delightful spot that offers a charming blend of breakfast and lunch options, featuring eggs, granola, ham and cheese. Whether you prefer your coffee hot or cold, Simz has you covered. The outdoor seating area is ideal for soaking up the sun while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere as passersby stroll by. While portion sizes may be on the smaller side, there’s ample space for families to gather around big tables.
Perfekt taste of Coffee and lunch and very sympathetic Chief and Personal; direct View to The beach included!

Eggs, granola, ham and cheese, we got And even a few coffees both cold and hot. The outside space is perfect for a sunny day, You’ll be able to greet people walking by with a subtle ‘hey’. Portion sizes are average, even small, But big tables and space to accommodate you family and all. Staff is very sweet and useful, They’ll serve you with kindness, very helpful.

The place was dirty. The waitress blond was RUDE she should not be doing that job. I ordered tap water and then they brought me bottled water… Sneaky and dishonest. I don’t like being taken advantage of. My friend ordered an omelet with sausage and cheese from the menu and then they brought a omelet with only tomatoes. When asked about it they said that they do not have a omelet with sausage on the menu (not true, we showed him) Would NOT recommend.
Giorgio S — Google review
Belgian waffles were bone dry and crumbled like dust. The scoop of vanilla ice cream could not save it, as it was a very cheap ice cream that contained water. Coffee was not noteworthy. Service was comptent and vigilant. All in all for a coffee, iced coffee and a waffle were a disgrace.
Petros D — Google review
Tense atmosphere created by the blonde lady, rude and impolite, with an aggressive attitude. They messed up my friend’s order and, despite it being clearly their mistake, they kept insisting that the item wasn’t on the menu, until my friend picked up the menu and proved them wrong. Prices are high for what you get: a dry sandwich with barely any sauce. If this is your only dining option in Knokke, you’re better off skipping the meal altogether.
Michele M — Google review
Previous years service was ok. This year they were very rude, not efficient (40min queue with only few people for the take away : they prioritise people that eat in the restaurant). Also crazy pricing : they charged us 50cents to cut the sandwich in 2 pieces…
Thomas C — Google review
Possibly one of the most overpriced restaurent in terms of quality and quantity I have ever visited. 20 euros for a burger that holds standards lower than most fast foods, 50 Cl of water for 6.5€. This place is a scam in every way possible. I would recommend not eating at all then ever entering this place.

Nestled in the charming coastal town of Knokke-Heist, Le P’tit Bedon stands out as a culinary gem that has caught the attention of gastronomic inspectors. This delightful restaurant boasts an elegant interior and offers a fantastic selection of wines to complement its exquisite menu. Each dish is not only a feast for the palate but also a visual delight, with divine sauces that elevate every bite.
The scampis on a wooden grill were a true celebration of life for my tastebuds! Add a nice sea view on a terrasse, cute interior inside the restaurant - overall a great place to have dinner where I would gladly return!
Valeriya T — Google review
Beef carpaccio was ok, homemade shrimp croquettes were excellent and steak was great. What really let me down was the lack of service. Several other people arrived after us, and all of them received their bread, food and bills before us! Was it because we’re of asian origin, makes me start to believe. Won’t be returning. Also their card reader only works with contactless, which is quite ridiculous for an establishment of this nature…

WOW! For me the best restaurant in Knokke! Beautiful distinguished interior, great selection of wines, delicious menu. Not to forget the great service and the most beautiful tableware. Every dish a sight for the eyes and the sauces are just divine! A great place to go with friends or to take your parents for a treat. If you want to explore it you must check out the Lunch Menu. (3 courses at a very attractive value)

Inside and the seating outside at the beach are awesome. Staff is friendly and some of them speak german, english, french and dutch. Food has a very high quality. Worth the price! For evening I would suggest a reservation. Unfortunately only inside possible, but understandable.
Rene — Google review
They couldn’t find the reservation but did their best to overcome this mistake. The waiter serving the terrace was really nice. However the food was at best banal, at worst not good (my fish was dry and tasteless, the vol-au-vent almost industrial and the meat not very good). Overpriced of course given the city and location. The white wine Arneis was excellent!

La Sapinière is a beloved gem in Knokke, perfect for enjoying delightful lunches and dinners in a warm, social atmosphere that includes a charming garden terrace. Diners can savor delicious tapas, truffle pasta, mussels, or grilled tuna while soaking up the relaxed vibe. On Saturday nights, the ambiance livens up with music that invites guests to dance and unwind.
My absolute favorite place to go in Knokke. Service is fantastic, and they serve Cuvée de Briqville as the only place in Belgium (besides Gigi). Truly exceptional
Willem D — Google review
Maybe the worst experience I’ve ever made for the price! The service was practically nonexistent. We waited about 50 minutes for our first round of drinks, and the second round never arrived. One waiter served the wine, only for another to take the bottle away. After we requested it back, it was returned without the cooler. Not a single order went as intended, to the point where we had to laugh about it to avoid crying. Utterly absurd. One waitress was very kind and tried to do her best, but it’s clear that she couldn’t save the situation alone. The starters were bland at best, with the vitello tonnato being particularly disappointing. To top it all off, I ended up with stomach issues because of it. The main course was mediocre. I can’t rate the drinks because they never showed up. The restaurant was completely booked, and I can only hope our experience was due to brutal mismanagement of the staff. Really. 1/5 is almost kind here for this pricetag.

Belgian restaurant
In the heart of Knokke-Heist, Belgium, Brasserie Rubens offers a bustling and pleasant atmosphere with waiters in long aprons weaving around tables. The slightly old-fashioned feel adds to its charm as it serves reliably good Belgian classics and excellent seafood. With a location beside the coastal promenade, diners can enjoy a sea view from the outside terrace during summer while savoring classic Belgian dishes like shrimp croquettes and smoked salmon.
Always very good brasserie food. Fast service (sometimes even too fast, don’t order apero drinks & food at the same time if you want some time in between). More cozy in their interior part (must make a reservation online) - the terrace is less cozy but no reservation required.
Katrien — Google review
The desserts and fish were fresh and tasty — definitely the highlight of the meal. However, there were some limitations in terms of sides. Typically, a fish dish like this would come with something more refined, such as potato croquettes, but here the only options were a starter or plain French fries. Overall, the food was tasty, but the atmosphere felt more like a part of the tourist industry machine. The staff seemed rushed and not particularly welcoming, and the place lacked a cozy or intimate feel. It came across more as a high-turnover spot catering to passing tourists rather than a place to relax and enjoy a meal. The bill came to €130 for two main courses, desserts, water, and a Coca-Cola — a bit on the high side considering the overall experience.
Rina — Google review
We had a wonderful dinner at Rubens in Knokke! Even though we don’t have reservations and there’s usually a queue, it moved surprisingly quickly we only waited around 10–15 minutes. The atmosphere is super relaxed, and you can tell people are happy to wait because the food is totally worth it. Once seated on the terrace, the staff made the experience even better. They were warm, welcoming, and had a great sense of humor it really added to the friendly, lively vibe of the place. We ordered the famous shrimp croquettes and three different types of mussels: white wine, garlic, and cream. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. You can tell this is a local favorite, and now we know why. Highly recommend if you’re in Knokke and craving great seafood in a fun and casual setting. We’ll definitely be back!
Jan C — Google review
A beautiful restaurant right on the beach in Knokke. It’s a bit more expensive than most places around, but absolutely worth it — we enjoyed every dish. The tomato filled with grey shrimps and the mussels were both outstanding. Service was great, and the fact that it’s open after lunch makes it perfect for a relaxed seaside meal. Highly recommended!
Anastasiia B — Google review
Solid restaurant with a good price/value in Knokke. Make sure to reserve online - You can get a table without reservations but then you have to queue for long time. Large outdoor seating area available. They accept card payments (including american express).

Lovely and authentic Belgium Brasserie. Old deco with white tablecloths that offers traditional dishes. I was not a fan of BE brasserie but now I would go back there when visiting Knokke. The poussin/young chicken was very tender, same for the steak. The sauces delicious and they have generous salad portions as side dish. The waiter was attentive and could easily switch between Flemish, French and English. He also quickly adjusted to my dietary restrictions. It was quite crowded for a Monday evening, off-season, however, you could still talk easily. Happy that we booked online in advance.
Alexandra P — Google review
Great service, delicious food and an amazing view of the ocean. Can definitely recommend.

This place is absolutely outstanding. Our waiter, Jannick, provided the best service we’ve ever had, with the perfect balance of attentiveness and sensibility. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

A nice, old time classic casino in Knokke Heist. It has a large choice of machines as for the begginers as for experienced players. 🎰💰💲💵💸 As exciting as gambling in a casino can be, it’s important to be aware of the risks involved. Casinos are designed to take your money – that’s their business model. And while you can win big at the casino, the odds are always in favour of the house. 🎰💸💸💸 Have some fun with your friends and family. Good luck 🍀

Nestled in the charming coastal town of Knokke, Cremerie François Knokke is a delightful destination for ice cream lovers. We thought they are the original François, which has freshly made crepes. But nope, they brought us reheated crepes in 1 or 2 minutes (they didn’t even bother themselves to heat properly lol) and it was very bad. And the best part is coming, it’s 20 euros with the ice cream and the strawberry 🤠

Great variety of fresh ice creams! There is ice cream sold in every possible way- in cups with fruit, in cones, in bowls with fresh fruit and nuts, in waffles and on pancakes. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed, and the service is very helpful and accommodating. Good decaf cappuccino too.

Simply put, the best ice-cream. Great service, great ice-cream, and affordable (for this region). The ice-cream is very light and smooth in texture and the flavors really shine through. The best ice-cream I've had in recent memory.

The pancakes and coffee are great, but the service is beyond being insulting, My wife has asked for a refill of hot water for her tea (the glass was far from full at the first serving) and after a gasp and a deep sigh, the waiter, or was he the owner of the place, came back with a glass with a two centimeter water, bottom, It's a real shame and if you wish a service level as you deserve, you better avoid the place. Plenty of others in Knokke.

Great waffles. Nice place. Sad that they are so stricts with serving times. Not so commercial customer oriented.

Brasserie
Brasserie Couteau offers delectable cuisine, particularly when it comes to their fish and meat dishes. While the service may be slightly sluggish, the establishment boasts an elegant setting and a close proximity to the sea, allowing for a lovely view. With reasonably priced offerings of high quality, this brasserie is especially convenient for families with children. The mussels are highly recommended. Furthermore, patrons can expect exceptional service from the amicable proprietor of Brasserie Couteau.
We had the pleasure of ordering from the more select menu of this beautifully designed establishment and enjoyed a truly refined lunch. The location is, of course, excellent, and the ambiance is calm and inviting. The chef himself warmly greeted us, wished us a pleasant meal, and kindly bid us farewell. The price-to-quality ratio is also quite reasonable, especially considering the standards of Knokke. Overall, it is an elegant brasserie offering hearty, thoughtfully presented dishes with generous portions, making for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience

Waiting time is very long! We have been waiting for PASTA more than 50 min. The restaurant is understaffed with a one waiter and a couple of owners. The owner is busy with chatting with the customers and making some weird comments rather than help. Truffle pasta was below average. Plain and overcooked noodles with a truffle sauce.

Very good atmosphere and there's enough options on the menu. The shrimp croquettes were were very good here.

perfect location were children can cycle, play while parents can enjoy food, drink.

Our Go-To Spot for Good Times and Good Food This restaurant has become more than just a hidden gem for us – it’s a place where you’re welcomed with a smile and where everything simply feels right. The food is genuinely delicious and the value for money is outstanding. Even though the place was fully booked, the entire team remained friendly, attentive, and warm – naturally and sincerely so. What stood out especially was how wonderfully child-friendly the atmosphere is. We visited with a baby and a toddler and felt completely at ease. Dogs are also welcome here, which made our visit even more relaxed. The only (very small) downside was the noise level – it did get a bit loud at times, but that’s understandable in such a lively and popular place. In short: A place with heart, great food, good people and a real feel-good vibe. We’ll definitely be back for a third time !

Super nice and typical beach restaurant at the Belgian coast. Lies just in front of the beach and a nice square. We went with our family and had a very good time. The food was amazing, very tasty and nicely presented. We can only recommend this place.

Very very good food. The codfish was amazing and so was the Vol au Vent. Service was too slow for a brasserie though.

Have been here at least 5 or 6 times over the years. One of my favorite classic brasseries in Knokke. Always great service, family run place and cozy atmosphere. Can definitely recommend the shrimp croquettes, cod, mussels, linguine a la vongole and the steak tartare. Kudos!

Restaurant DeLy's is a charming little gem that truly knows how to make guests feel welcome, even without a reservation. The atmosphere buzzes with energy, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience. Their three-course menu is a highlight, featuring exquisite dishes that are not only delicious but also beautifully presented. While it's unfortunate that the menu requires group participation, the flavors more than make up for it.
The 3 course menu was really good. Just a shame that 1 person cannot take the menu if others are not taking it too. But overall delicious dishes in a modern setting.

They were very accommodating even though we didn’t have a reservation. Food was very good and we enjoyed our meal very much. It was busy when we were there so we appreciated their efforts in accommodating us!

(Translated by Google) Food ordinary but not sensational. Too salty in my opinion. Classic interior but it was not really warm which did not feel pleasant. Too bad there is no menu for the aperitif range and prices. Overpriced for a lunch for two, approximately €150.

Celebrated the Valentine Day here. Food was very delicious, waiters were friendly and made time to take pictures of us. Even asked to have Chef Cedric/Owner come over to have a picture with him. Would recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.
