Military Museums
The Åland Maritime Museum in Mariehamn, Finland is a captivating cultural institution that celebrates the maritime legacy of the Åland Islands. Visitors can immerse themselves in the region's seafaring traditions and history through a diverse array of exhibits, including preserved boats, ship models, and historical documents. The museum's centerpiece is a meticulously crafted reproduction of a ship complete with living quarters and galley.
Great museum exhibition with a great variety of covered themes, from ship models to lighthouse's lights and history explanation. Tickets covers two museums, this one and the Pommern ship. A good visit would take 90-120 for both museums, or 60-90 for this one only.
Aleksandr F — Google review
Very nice meusum with interesting collection of ship and ferry...the pommern is quite interesting and good to keep in mind the last entrance to pommern is around 1pm. They have lockers and bike parks for visitors and they accept meusum card:)
Newsha M — Google review
I really recommend visiting this museum if you want the know more about Åland and their history. But even just if you want to know more about seafaring from their perspective. There are lots of different things to look at, to read about and you will get amazed about how much goes into the history and science of boats, cruises and seafaring.
Emma S — Google review
An awesome museum detailing the seafaring past of Åland, surely a must see if visiting. The exhibits inside are very interesting, as is the full rigged ship Pommern, the main star of the museum.
Zagreous — Google review
Interesting and very exclusive. I could have spent more time there.
Ruddammsbrölet B — Google review
If you're into ships and anything related, this is the place to visit! The ticket price was 15€ for adults. The place has 3 floors total with one underground. There are plenty of interesting things to see and discover, including: a real pirate flag, highly detailed ship models and artifacts from the life of sailors For children there are many interactive expositions to explore with "sea monsters" as a highlight.
DMINATOR — Google review
A nice museum experience. Could have stayed here for longer.
Otto G — Google review
Inside you can find tons of stuff from 18th century to present day including one of the two existing, authentic Jolly Rogers.

Museum ship Pommern

Museum
The Museum ship Pommern is a well-preserved, four-masted merchant sailing ship built in 1903, located just behind the Sjofartsmuseum. It once operated on the trade route between Australia and England, carrying cargo and a crew of 26. Visitors can explore the historic vessel through guided tours and ramps, gaining insight into sailors' lives and experiencing its unique atmosphere. The ship offers audio guides in multiple languages to enhance the learning experience.
What a great experience. It makes you feel humbled and appreciate the hard work sea men did and do. It's truly amazing how big the ship is and how much cargo they were able to hold in the old days! On the deck of the ship you can get headphones and phone so you can listen in to the crew and what they went through. Amazing experience and highly recommended.
Blanka F — Google review
Kinda funny when you look from the outside and thinks "it doesn't look that big" and then you get inside and realize "oh this is a big ship". They have created a route on the top layer of the ship with points where you can listen to theatrical recordings of what life on the ship could have looked like, and then on the lower parts you can see what the inside of the ships looks like. Even a small lightshow at the very bottom that illustrates a storm out on the sea. I really recommend visiting Pommern if you want the know more about Åland and their history with ships.
Emma S — Google review
Excellent preserved ship from the early 20th century, easily accessible and across the maritime museum.
Damadans T — Google review
This is one of the best museums of sailing ships.
Dariya G — Google review
Probably the best ship museum in Mariehamn? If you are in to real world sailing boats used for shipping in the early 20th century, this is for you. Tickets can be bought online or at the ship. Don't miss the 19 minute informational movie where actual sailors that sailed the Pommern in the 1930s are interviewed.
Calle — Google review
This was a great sight to behold. They give you a pre-recorded audio of the conversations in the ship to have a feel of the sails back in the days. I got my ticket at the museum and you can use it for the two museums or visit the Pommern twice. I enjoyed touring the museum.
Tochi P — Google review
Very interesting attraction in Mariehamn. The same entry ticket goes for Mariehamn Maritime museum and the Pommern, definately worth the visit. Ship and its decks are also wheelchair accessible, although cabins and some areas are not.

Restaurant
Indigo restaurant & bar is a vibrant establishment located in an old stone warehouse, offering a Scandi-inspired menu in a contemporary setting. The restaurant serves expertly cooked dishes like barbecued Aland hamburger with Bearnaise sauce and handcrafted fries. It has been recognized as one of the best restaurants in Finland by the White Guide Nordic. With its lively summer patio and late-night bar, it's a trendy spot for drinks and dining.
Amazing place right in the center of Mariehamn, fantastic food and service at a reasonable price!
Olle W — Google review
A great experience at Indigo. The server and service was amazing, 3 of us had the duck and it was delicious! I would 100% recommend
Megan W — Google review
Excellent food, our party had Tuna as well as 'abborre'. Both were delcious. Good wines to pair them with. Service was second to none. Indigo has three different areas -> indoor + terrace + bistro. Indoors only 'fine dining meny', terrace has both bistro and fine dining choices. You only need to go next door for dancing and drinks at Calypso, which is in the same building.
Patrik W — Google review
Amazing dinner experience. Indigo restaurant (inside sitting) serves locally produced food, Scandinavian recipes with inspiration from all over the world. The vegetarian option was wonderful, the only downside was that it didn't fill us up that much. With the food comes an appetiser of different Åland bread, butter & cream cheese, very delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful and the house wine tastes great!
Tabea H — Google review
Great restaurant with friendly staff and moderate prices.
Calle — Google review
Absolutely delicious and trendy food that takes you completely out of the quiet Aland ambiance outside. Fantastic selection of beers and friendly service! Tack!
Graham G — Google review
Food and service was good. We ordered salmon and steak bread. The restaurant is fixing so all customers take food at outdoor. It’s very hot and noisy. And maybe because of the salmon, the area was full of flyers. At the end the eating turned to a fight with flyers. Hope soon customer can get seats indoor that could be better.
Jin ( — Google review
Excellent food and good service. Garlic bread as a starter was best ever and steak with bearnaise sauce was brilliant. Also very dog friendly place, you can bring your dog to terrace.

Restaurant
Restaurang Nautical is a relaxed dining spot with a terrace and scenic water views, offering a menu featuring local specialties such as seafood and meat dishes. The restaurant has gained recognition in the White Guide Nordic for its emphasis on pure flavors and meticulous ingredient selection from local suppliers on Aland. Housed in an old stone warehouse, it provides both fine dining and bistro options, with equal attention given to the preparation and presentation of each dish.
Absolutely fab for a long lunch. 💯 staff with a very pro service. Food very decent at lunchtime, a bit on the pricey side. The view with the matching wine over the bay will compensate for the sting. My doctor suggested using glasses. I used two. The Pommern is still a bit dizzy in my eyes.. 🥴
Toni S — Google review
Super beautiful place, in the heart of the Mariehamn harbour. Elegant decoration and touches. On the food side, super big disappointment that the tasting menu can be ordered UNTIL 19:30 (in a main and popular restaurant, seriously?). Waitress did not even try to suggest anything, but « it is what it is ». Well, less money for them 🤷🏻‍♂️ The food we were able to get was very simple but very good, very good assemble of flavours and general dishes. A bit pricy for what it is, but probably we pay for the location as well, which is fine. The disappointment was the service, even if friendly, not on the level of this kind of place. No suggestion, bringing dishes with no explanation, just a « here you go », opening a wine of 100e like it’s a vulgar beverage, no smile or thank you… even with a big bill. Feels like a low-budget brasserie service. Here we do not feel we have right value for money and standing of the place. I’m sure we want to try the place again, mostly for food selection and views… but eating as early as 7pm…
Aymeric R — Google review
Superb!!! Just keep in mind that for main dishes you have until 20:30-21:00 to place your orders as the kitchen is starting to close around that time.
Piotr J — Google review
Dinner with colleagues was fabulous, a mix of the the set menu of ginger and garlic prawns (scampi) followed by veal noisettes and finished with frozen yogurt, and the al la carte option of scallops, butter fried perch with vanilla ice cream. The food was delicious and the view over Pommern is outstanding. Atmosphere is calm and quiet with attentive staff. Highly recommended.
Ian S — Google review
Restaurant Nautical was the perfect upscale seafood dinner my family was looking for. There are two prefix menus and an a la carte menu, all within season. Nautical accommodates gluten and lactose free allergens. The langoustine starter was really rich in flavor, I definitely recommend it.
Joclyn L — Google review
I have been to a lot of good restaurants in the world. This is what you looking for; perfect food, nice selection of wines and beautiful atmosphere with a view. Never leave Aland island without eating here 🤤

Nestled along the picturesque Sjopromenaden in Vasterhamn, Pub Albin is a charming pizzeria that captures the essence of a perfect evening out. With its inviting sun deck offering stunning views of the water, this spot has become a beloved hangout for locals and visitors alike. The menu features an array of thin-crust pizzas crafted from top-notch ingredients, making each bite a delightful experience.
The vegetarian pizza was great - never had asparagus and pistachio on a pizza, but it was delicious. They offer local chilli powders to put on the pizza as well. The location is cozy, right next to the marina and the big sail ship pommern.

All the cutlery was dirty. Some plates were dirty with stains of food. The tables were dirty. The staff was not engaged at all and barely said a word when they came out with the food or when we ordered. The pizzas were tasty though!
Erika S — Google review
We had lovely burgers and the local brew. Fantastic venue. The only downside was the very long waiting time
I G — Google review
No service, you order inside, clean your own table etc. But the view is spectacular. Good (Pizza) is okay but not great…
David S — Google review
We had ice cream and the staff were super friendly, had a great time!
Ryoji M — Google review
When we arrived at the place the waitress didn’t pay any attention to us. We didn’t know if we should wait for table service or if we should order inside. Maybe you should leave a note guiding your customers what to do. Also the waitress didn’t tell us anything even though she saw us sitting outside. The pizzas were tasty but the experience was not so nice.

If you're seeking an authentic Finnish sauna experience combined with a refreshing swim, Badhuset Mariebad is the perfect destination. This public swimming hall offers a unique opportunity to enjoy indoor and outdoor pools while soaking in stunning sea views. While many might prefer the tranquility of lakes, Mariebad provides a comfortable alternative for those who shy away from open waters. The facility boasts beautifully designed swimming pools, including a 25-meter lane pool ideal for serious swimmers and water polo enthusiasts.
Beautiful swimming pools. There's lane swim 🏊 and water polo 🤽‍♂️in one 25-meters-pool. Then there's adventure swim with water slide in another pool - which is a little bit warmer. A part of the adventure pool is outside so you can lay there and watch the view of the ocean 🌊 There's also a jetty so you can swim in the ocean all year round. In winter ❄️ they make a hole in the ice. Of course there's a sauna to warm you up afterwards. Both single sex saunas and mixed sex saunas.
Rebecca L — Google review
We were there right after the school holidays ended, so they closed the whole entertainment area with pools, jacuzzi and slides for a month of cleaning. Despite this, they still charge a full price, for which you get a 25m swimming pool (mostly unavailable since lanes were booked for the sportmen and groups), a small pool for kids and a sauna - that's it. The corridor between the pool and the sauna was cold and uncomfortable. There were no hairdryers. Probably when everything is open, it is a nice place, but our visit was not great.
Elena M — Google review
A very good pool. Very nice and warm, with an unexpected outdoor pool area. The only thing that made myself and daughter uncomfortable and I'm sure it's a cultural thing, was that on entering the open plan changing room, we had to shower nude before going in the pool. Us being from the UK, we just don't do this. We arrive in our swim suits under our clothes ready and it's also standard to have your own stall to get changed in. At no point does anyone see anyone fully nude, again I assume this is a cultural thing.
Stacey C — Google review
Half of the pool area was out of service — the relaxation section and the outdoor part were both closed. The only part available was the swimming pool, yet the price was the same as when the entire pool was working. It didn’t feel fair to pay full price for only part of the experience.
Boris B — Google review
It was ok. The shower room was not as clean as I like (lot of hair everywhere) and the outdoor pool and the slide was closed. It's quite small but they have nice normal pool also.
Maria K — Google review
The whole spa section was closed and there was neither a warning at checkour nor a discount on the price
Saku M — Google review
Very good spa and swimminghall. You can both relax or/and exercise here. You can exercise on swimming courses or relax or play in different pools and water slope. You can enjoy the outside pool or even go swimming to the ocean.
Poor B — Google review
Great place. 25 meter indoor pool for swimming, another for children playing, third warm for relaxing extends outdoors with view to sea. At least mens saunas are fine, but could be a little hotter (to Finnish taste). There is also an indoor waterslide, possibility to go for a dip in the sea on summer, and small Thai restaurant in the same building.

The Åland Museum, located in Mariehamn, Finland, offers a comprehensive look at the history and traditions of the Åland Islands. The museum features exhibits on archaeology, maritime history, art, and more. Visitors can expect detailed explanations of the island's heritage without overwhelming information. The friendly staff provides a welcoming atmosphere for those interested in delving into the region's history and art.

I didn't know Aland history start from 7500 Although the places is not that big, it tells a long history of Aland. I saw never such old things really displaying here they make a high quality booklet for the display items, very informative, However like all the other musume , the light is barely to look at the book, and one of the monitor showing national history was not working, still appreciate their effort

🌿 Today I visited Ålands Museum again — and every time it feels a little different. It holds the whole history of Åland — from ancient times to everyday island life and the sea. Everything feels warm, real, and thoughtful. ⠀ I loved the soft lighting, the peaceful silence — it’s like the museum invites you to not just look, but feel. ⠀ There’s a room with moving projections — ocean waves, wind, tree branches all around you. You can just sit there and breathe. Honestly, I could stay for hours. ⠀ There’s also a small café corner with tea, coffee, little desserts and even a sink to wash your hands nearby 😊 So cozy. And the gift shop at the entrance is full of special items — not just random souvenirs, but things with the real spirit of the islands. ⠀ You don’t need to rush. You can drop by for a moment — or spend half the day. I think I’ll be back. Probably soon. 🌬

Good and important place to visit for understanding Åland history and culture.
Fahmida E — Google review
I've visited the Åland Museum several times, including once with a group from Medis during our internship. The museum is located right in the center of Mariehamn — close to a square, shops, cafés, and the harbor. It's very easy to get to. The first time we went, it was during a special event — the museum was hosting a celebration, and the staff were offering homemade treats and cooking on-site. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. After that, we explored one of the exhibitions, which was fascinating — especially the section dedicated to the history of Åland and archaeological discoveries. The museum has two main sections — cultural-historical and art — and one ticket gives you access to both. Everything is well organized: there are elevators, ramps, restrooms, and lockers. It's accessible for people with limited mobility and for strollers. The exhibitions are curated with care — you’ll find everything from ancient artifacts to contemporary art. The only small downside is that some display cases could use more lighting, and not all interactive screens were functioning perfectly. Other than that, it’s a fantastic place, especially for those who want to learn more about Åland's culture. There’s also a small park nearby and a parking area that fits about 10 cars. I definitely recommend it for both tourists and locals!
Vlad R — Google review
Very good introduction to the history of Åland - I was impressed. Entrance fee includes access to the art gallery, which I found less interesting on this occasion, but is perhaps dependent on the exhibition.

Bagarstugan Cafe & Vin is a popular spot in Mariehamn, offering a cozy setting and several vegetarian and vegan-friendly meal options. The cafe is located in a charming old red wooden house and serves delightful cakes, pastries, salads, and warm/cold sandwiches made with their homemade bread. It's an excellent choice for those with a sweet tooth as they offer home-baked delicacies including the Aland classic, alandspannkaka.
Lovely place, huge terrace, A LOT of gluten-free options for cakes (sandwiches as well), friendly and attentive baristas. Even though it was full, we got our coffees really fast. Food was okay.

Of all the places we ate around Mariehamn during our visit this was my absolute favorite. Such a lovely and cozy place. I ordered a chocolate and strawberry cake with whipped cream and even though it was HUGE it was so fluffy and just melted in my mouth. It was the first time it felt like I had not eaten anything because it was so light due to the fluffy cake. 10 out of 10 would recommend for anyone visiting Mariehamn.

Sjökvarteret, nestled in the picturesque city of Mariehamn, Finland, is a delightful maritime quarter that beautifully embodies Åland's nautical legacy. This enchanting area serves as a living museum where visitors can immerse themselves in traditional boat-building practices and witness skilled craftsmen at work. The charming wooden ships lining the quay create an inviting atmosphere for exploration.
A really lovely place to visit to experience the importance of Åland’s boat building & maritime life. It’s a great place to wander, soaking in the atmosphere, with wooden boat houses, old wooden boats and new boat builds. The smell of tar permeates your senses! Absolutely worth visiting—and it’s free! Only a short walk from the centre of Mariehamn.

Eventually going to be a really nice area, but it is still being built and a lot of the museums are under construction. Ships are already in dock and seems like the place could be done by autumn 2025
Ville S — Google review
I loved this place of the island. It’s very famous for there trademark little house.
Ashok M — Google review
A nice old style small fishing village vibe! The souvenir shop Salt is a great place to find some local crafts
Sami — Google review
Could have been more interesting with commentary from the various elements of the attractions but I guess that throng of foreigners from cruise ships presented too much of a challenge and disruption to "work in progress"
Mike C — Google review
Nice place to visit and you can even see how they are building a wooden boat which we found extremely interesting.
Jonathan H — Google review
Nice place which doesn’t use its full potential! Some nice restaurants and historical ships etc.
Ville K — Google review
Beautiful boat being built. Wonderful gifts from off cuts. Warming grogg and sausages. Able to show grandson how things were made and what tools were used.

Pizza Takeout
Restaurant
Nestled in a charming waterside location, Pub Niska is a rustic eatery that beautifully captures the essence of nautical themes. This delightful spot specializes in traditional thin-crust pizza, crafted by renowned chef Michael Micke Bjorklund from Smakbyn. The menu features an array of flavorful toppings, including favorites like cold-smoked salmon paired with horseradish cream, all while embracing local ingredients such as cheese sourced from Åland's dairy farms.
There was nothing from preventing me to enjoy today pizza in this place. And it was gloomi, bit windy with threads of rain. We were visiting Sjökvarteret after opening hours for rest of the places and on way back we smell really nice meal from this kitchen. Literally we were navigating ourselves here by our noses 😁. Outside was empty for obvious weatherly reasons. When we entered smiley face greeted us and rest is on place and in happy belly. I enjoyed beer and really tasty pizza!

Very nice pizza, great atmosphere, lovely staff. The restrooms are awful though, otherwise top experience! ♥️
Věra P — Google review
Delicious pizza, great selection of drinks and a great atmosphere! The pub is directly located next to the water and in an area that is definitely worth a stroll after dinner. Lots of space outside. Unfortunately it closed relatively early, otherwise we would have stayed a bit longer.

We stopped during our walk around Sjökvarteret and we shared the monthly pizza: white pizza with shrimps and tomatoes(they removed the forest sauce and raw onions at my request). Veey tasty pizza and friendly service.
Flower P — Google review
If you are around the area it is a nice place to eat by the water. The pizzas were good and crispy. I did not like the pizza dough that much and that is why I give it 4 stars. If I recommend one, you can try the Sea Captain one (with salmon). It was quite tasty.

OK pizza. Birds jumping on the tables and also their fieces on the table. Couldnt relax because of those birds. Food was ok. Self service. Location is good.

Bar & grill
Dino’s Bar & Grill is a vibrant spot that perfectly blends relaxation with a lively rock vibe, making it an ideal destination for music lovers and food enthusiasts alike. Located conveniently in Mariehamn, this establishment features a delightful menu filled with mouthwatering options like pasta, burgers, and barbecue. The atmosphere is enhanced by the bar's outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy billiards and live performances during the summer months.
We came to Mariehamn for Easter holiday and one of the only open places in long Friday was Dino's bar. We liked the place, the design and the lovely food. They just have 2 vegetarian kind of meal but it was so delicious! We also order dessert and was really good. It is not a cheap place but the prices are not so high as in other restaurants in the area. About the service, the staff are really friendly. We highly recommend it.
Jess G — Google review
Quite polite employees while you are a customer of the restaurant - if you return as "just" a guest of the bar, they don't pay much attention anymore. Even more so if you are speaking English instead of Swedish. It leaves the clear impression that they like the international guests only because of the money the leave here and prefer their Swedish-speaking customers or even more their fellow Ålanders otherwise. But the "Pasta Dino" was good and the beer is comparatively cheap in the happy hour.
Thor N — Google review
I had a very disappointing experience at Dinos. The server who helped us was incredibly rude and seemed like they didn’t want us to be there at all. The food was bland and poorly seasoned. Definitely not a place I’ll be returning to, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting decent service or flavorful food.
Annika — Google review
Very nice atmosphere. Foods arrived quick and were reasonably price. Steaks were alright, pastas not so much. I think the best was the potato side dish. Potatos on Åland taste so much better than inland Finland.
Minh L — Google review
It’s a big portion of ribs and shared by 2 people. Ribs were good and juicy. Only in my taste It could be better without some sauce. Just the waiting time was little bit long but it worth.
Jin ( — Google review
A little bit too American for my taste. But the 'beef and pasta' (see photo) with original Åland mustard pepper sauce was excellent and the pancake sweet and lovely.
Cliff D — Google review
Good selection of bottled beers, somewhat diffident service.
Kai H — Google review
I had just the dessert (the local sponge cake). Nice atmosphere and house. The food was ok.

Italian restaurant
During a recent trip, I stumbled upon Nonna Rina while seeking refuge from the rain, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! This charming eatery boasts an impressive selection of pizzas, with the prosciutto variety standing out as exceptionally delicious. The dough was simply superb! I also indulged in a tapas plate paired with sparkling wine, which added to the overall experience.
Very good pizza, lots of different options. Great atmosphere, staff treated us well. Spoke English. 10/10 will eat here again on our next trip to Åland!
N K — Google review
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, staff super rude, fell over and staff did nothing to help, when asked they where rude and couldn't care less, pasta had no sauce and was tiny, it also cost €7.50 i've attached a photo below.. pizza is extortionate and service is non existent, no wonder they make you pay for the food before you receive it. Pizza was okay, but staff where so rude we decided to leave and eat somewhere else. Do not visit.
Novie X — Google review
Visited May 2024 Located at one end of the main shopping street in Mariehamn the restaurant has ample outside space but lacked parasols that are essential on warm sunny days like the day that we visited. Operated more like a café than a restaurant with orders being taken at the bar rather than at your table - this could be problematic for those dining alone or with mobility issues. The food was freshly made with the chef on open view which was rather nice. Good sized portions at a good price.
P B — Google review
The most un-Italian restaurant I have ever been to. At 1900 they had run out of Pizza - and I should have run away at that point. The bolognese I went for was over-priced and tasteless and I wouldn’t have fed it to the cat. The service was ‘do it yourself’ and the atmosphere non-existent. Learn from my mistake and find somewhere else.
Alina F — Google review
We ended up here by coincidence because it was raining a lot. Lovely place with nice pizza. We tried the one with prosciutto. Super tasty! the dough was excellente.

Delicious pizzas! The kids were very happy. Goed service! You can take coffee after eat ( gratis )

Restaurant
Draken Kebab/stan is a popular spot with a rock bar vibe and good value food. While the taste may not be extraordinary, it's still worth trying, especially for their delicious kebab sauce. The restaurant stands out as one of the few open on Sundays in town. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and quick service, making it a great place for a fast and tasty meal. Additionally, they are dog-friendly, allowing pets on the terrace.
Pretty great kebab place very near the port. Service was friendly and multi-lingual. Great little outside terrace to have your food in. The toilets are outside the restaurant and need an access token available from your server. Well priced, very large portion sizes. All in all, a good show.

A nice rock bar kinda place with good value food, the taste was okay for it’s price but nothing special. Also props for being just about the only restaurant in town that’s open on a sunday
Sami — Google review
Great place if you are looking for a quick bite. Friendly staff. Food is good, but about average if you compare the Kebab to the mainland restaurants.
Kaj B — Google review
I have eaten there for 20 years! The best kebab I know of, consistency and homemade ingredients is key 👌🏼👑

Lovely reception and nice staff! The food is absolutely delicious, especially the kebab-sauce. Best kebab I've ever tasted, strongly reccomend you try it too!

Mediocre food, tiny portions and terrible service. Personnel turned out to be aggressive and eventually called the police because we wanted to eat our food before closing time. Confusing situation. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

European restaurant
Nestled in a prime location, ÅSS Paviljongen offers diners stunning views of Mariehamn's harbor while indulging in fresh and uncomplicated summer cuisine. Guests rave about the delicious dishes, including tatar, herring, and cod with shrimp, all beautifully presented. The terrace provides an inviting atmosphere to enjoy meals alongside great beers on tap. While service can be hit or miss—some staff members shine with professionalism and friendliness—others may leave room for improvement.
My favorite (summer) restaurant in all of Åland and Finland. The food is amazing, as are the views and service. The manager was very helpful with recommending a dish and the chef even came out to have a quick chat with us. I definitely recommend eating here. Good beers on tap too.
Patrick M — Google review
Compliments to the cook! It was delicious! Tatar, Hering and Cod with shrimps. The terrace is a nice place to sit with the view of the harbour. Now the service. The men did a good job. The girls. I can not believe it. No smiles and my starter plate was thrown in front of me. I was too shocked to say anything. We normally leave a good tip, but like that so sorry. People like that can ruin a good meal.
Baltic R — Google review
Exceptional view from the restaurant. Food was great and very well presented! We didn't have to wait for food long, just the right time. Both waiters were professional and friendly.
Blanka F — Google review
The place was very nice, the drinks were superb, the food was great, but the customer service was bad. It appeared that our group of seven people were either uninteresting or we were even unwanted. Or maybe the waitress just had a bad day?
Jaakko I — Google review
The menu online was not up to date. Menu is quite unhealthy and boring. Cocktail price did not match the quality. Location is pretty and service was good.

Best Hunter Sandwich on whole Åland! They also have had great pop up menus. The American, Indian and Japanese ones were especially great.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent wine. Had a very enjoyable evening at this restaurant.
