Lived our experience! It’s the best for little kids. You see the animals form up close. I recommend all the families with little kids to visit this zoo instead of Zürich zoo. It’s mostly for adults and you have to walk a lot. This one is perfect, you can ride the animals which the kids love.

The kids love it but we went on hot day so when too sunny to explore whole place. It’s a 5-6 min walk from station or you can take a bus 991. The place is not huge can finish in 2 hour depend how long you spend. The pony ride was cute but my kids notice the pony was looking very sad I think is abit cruel to sit on them too. We didn’t do the elephant and camel ride. The most fav is the patting the goat surprisingly they were very calm and friendly.

It’s a delight for families with children. Compact yet all the essential and exciting animals are there. Minipigs are particularly adorable! Birthday party with giraffes feeding was an exciting experience for small and big ones :)

We visited after 5 p.m. and got the discounted price, which was a nice bonus and a perfect amount of time to see everything for our toddler! It was pretty busy at that time, but still really enjoyable. There were lots of animals to see and interact with and great play areas for kids. A fun and well-kept zoo that’s perfect for families!

The only drawback: I went mid-week and did NOT have a reservation. There are tables inside and outside. I was told that the reservation book for that night was full and only indoor tables were available (the place was 8-10% occupied, when I entered and MAYBE 12% occupied when I left). Most outside tables remained empty during my stay. I felt that they were very overprotective (and in America, such a statement meant that with a generous tip before the meal, a preferred outside table might suddenly become 'available'. My meal: One appetizer, one soup and one entree: 80 Chf, considered reasonable for this type location. I will return!

Dining at Lennox Beach is a wonderful thing. The entire restaurant is a tropical and beautiful beach-like adventure. Menus have monkeys drawn on them and some even have tribal face tattoos. The Momos they serve are very expensive but are wonderfully made. I absolutely recommend the ‘Burger Party’ as there is a choice between several patties to add. Beef or Chicken (which nicely give you two patties (if you want to save one for later) or the larger Vegan one which is amazing. It must be said that these are accompanied with a large portion n of fries. Fries need sauce to enjoy and the sauces they provide are great but very very very small in comparison to the amount of fries you will be given. Choose your sauce wisely as their containers are small ( or maybe pack your own sauces in your purse from home ). We do love the staff here and the amazing cocktails they serve and will always return to enjoy Lennox Beach

When you approach Lennox for the first time, it gives you a beachy holiday feeling. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the vibe and setup, which is indeed very nice. Unfortunately the food (even though it looks good) is rather blunt and prepared with limited love. Badi Stampf is a great family spot near Rapperswil. Entry is just CHF 3.5 per adult – totally worth it. There’s a small playground and a fun water fountain area for little kids. The lake access has a sandy/rocky beach plus a fun slide, making it perfect for a relaxed day by the water.

The Holzbrucke is a modern replacement (2001) of a 14th century construction that was constantly destroyed by war or the weather. It is the longest wooden bridge in Switzerland (almost 1km) and is part of the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. We walked most of the length of the bridge before turning round as the sun, and temperature dropped. We watched the sunset, enjoying the clear skies and wonderful views.

Really good restaurant at the edge of the old town offering traditional Swiss and Austrian cuisine, good wine selection, kind staff as expected. The Wiener Schnitzel is only one of the tasty dishes.

This is our favorite restaurant. Staff is amazing and food is wonderful. I try something new on the menu every time we visit and I've never eaten something I wouldn't recommend.
