A museum simply constructed but a lively atmosfer, where there is a monumental staty of two lovers Ferhad and Shirin and their tombs. Inside the museum there is other live story characters and mystic spiritual love section. Cafeteria is available. The physical water canal that Farhad digged is there where is the source of water to Amasya( yesil irmak nehri)

Very well thought museum. It has different mannequins of different love stories from Ferhat&Şirin to Leila&Mecnun and Romeo&Juilet to Mevlana Rumi! It is a small museum but if you pass through it, it's worth to visit

Shirin and Ferhat, earlier is use to think that this a comic or a novel, but visiting this place felt the real story, this place is a small park with restaurant and museum but interesting part is they have a cemetry of şirin and Ferhat. Which was shocking to me.

When we tried to leave to get some food we were stopped by mall security and they told us that we had to stay inside the mall They were so disrespectful and rude to us and demanded that we stay inside the mall because our car was in the parking lot We had already done some shopping and didn’t like the food there we wanted to leave to get food then proceed with our shopping trip . Archaeology and Mummy Museum – Fascinating and Surprising This museum was one of the highlights of my trip. You can see real mummies and many interesting archaeological items. It’s very well displayed and organized. The information is easy to read and the objects are fascinating. It’s perfect for both adults and kids. The ticket 3€ (145TL) and it’s free for children. The staff are very knowledgeable and polite. They answer all your questions with a smile. If you like history and something a bit different, this museum is a must-see!

In Amasya? Then spend an hour visiting this museum. With information boards in English and Turkish, you will learn all about the city over the years. There are some really good displays, and I especially liked the mosaics and learning about the Storm God! Free with museum cards, parking limited.

There are a lot of nice things to see, both archeological and anthropological, but some of the English translations are terrible or missing. They are making a new museum so hopefully they'll fix the problems. Don't miss the mum's upstairs. Unfortunately there is no way for a handicap person to access the upstairs.

We came here for a group lunch to sample taste typical ottaman era foods in this restaurant overlooking the river. Interesting flavours that some of us did and did not like. Served no alcohol but the yogurt drink and fermented grape juice were excellent. Very quick service and clearing. Most of what we tasted was vegetarian and the yogurt soup was especially delicious . Lots of memorabilia on display and they used a lots of disposable single use plastic that was not necessary

Well located restaurant. While exploring the city and looking for local food we found this place as one of the cheapests. The food is nice, but in my opinion portions are very little, so to be full you need to order much more and of course spend much more. If you want to try local food, I think you can come here, but get ready to pay minimum 200try for two people. Compare to other places with local food it is not a lot, but if you just want to eat and spend less money, there are better options in the town. There is also nice view from the restaurant.

Don t be confused by the gloomy entrance, once you are inside you will discover an amazing old house turned into a traditional restaurant with a big variety of delicious local dishes. Unfortunately, the service does not do justice to this wonderful restaurant as the waiters rush after their clients removing their dishes before they finish making room for the next ones. I was invited for a second time to the same place by friends a day later for dinner and at 22.00 after they repeatedly came to take our dishes away, while we were still eating, they were standing over our heads and staring at us urging us to leave. The food was amazing and the service great! Another customer and I had the same thing ordered only she asked for half a size. Her plate came to mine and mine to her. A couple minutes later another plate came to our table and they apologised for confusing the orders and brought the other half. They were so nice and even half the size is enough to fill someone! The manti was very good. Some of us were very skeptical about the amount. They were very understanding and brought the plates with the sauce to our table so we could pour as much and we would like. This was definitely an amazing experience! The only downside for me is that the bathrooms for men and women are in the same room downstairs (but different stalls). We would definitely reccoment this place!

I visited Amasra for the first time this past weekend of May 2019. Amasra occupies a very important place in the contemporary history of the modern Turkish republic. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk planned the uprising against the occupying emperyalist forces in this town. Yamaç Bistro is located on a steep hill overlooking the town. The road from center of town to the Bistro is fine, our big bus had no difficulty reaching the place. There is a big car park, so no worry where to park the car. The menu is like all other menus of similar restaurants, but what separates this place from others is the exceptional view it offers of Amasya downtown. If you happen to visit Amasra, don't forget to have a lunch or dinner at this place.

I'm a Malaysian & regardless the language barrier, the staff still try their best to be helpful. Had their special lunch (not common Turkish dishes that I had) which is fried slim potato with beef..its delicious and the beef is soft..I love the dessert.. We walked up to the tombs. Its a lot of money for a badly taken care of path. There are people working on buildings, but around the tombs is a lot of dirt, thrash… The view is gorgeous though!

You have to walk a little uphill, but it’s not too hard and it’s really worth it. The tombs are big and mysterious, and you can take great pictures there. The ticket price is 100TL, and children can go in for free. The people at the entrance are very friendly and give you useful information. It’s one of the most important places to visit in Amasya. I really loved it.

An acient and well preserved crypts that are carved into rocks of mountain. A must see place for Amasya. You may also fancy the traditional wooden houses and a peaceful evening near greenriver (Yeşilırmak). This place is also the homeland of an old fable called "Ferhat and Şirin". The lover Ferhat singlehandedly carve through mountains to bring water to city and get Şirin's hand for marriage...

We had issue with the ticket person who has been working there because university students cannot benefit from student discounts. Ticket person showed us “entering rules” of the Amasya municipality's and these rules are not allowing over 18 years old. After that, they took the normal entering fee from us.

Very attractive for those who are interested in history and mysterious sites. It is a historical tombs of pontic kings which are now available for visitors. The only way to reach them is by walking a long strairs which definitely needs to be immensely fit. The beautiful view of the city of Amasya from up will let you forget the long stairs journey.

You'll see these tombs from wherever you are on Amasya. So why not pay the 15TL per person (Apr 23) and then climb the 600 or so steps to go and see them? You'll get very close and be able to see how they were carved, but you won't be able to go in or walk around the back. There are some good views from the top and the information boards are mostly in Turkish and English.

Where do I even begin? This is a place that apparently won an award in 2019 and again in 2020, but based on our experience, that feels like ancient history. I found this place on Tiktok. This was by far the best part of our visit to Amasya. The waiters were so professional I was lost for words. They actually had real gazoz (I struggled to find anything other than sprite in this entire region). We ordered 2 types of Manti both were excellent. The plates, the tea, the service was immaculate. It actually rained and it somehow improved the whole experience. My recommendation is the "Hatuniye manti" that was amazing. It's only cheese, get extra dip and go nuts.

This place is a must, don't leave Amasya without eating here or if you are just close by stop here to eat. Great food, excellent service, perfect wait staff. Don't be shy and try home made daily lemonade. You will order the second glass for sure. This place has ton of rewards for a reason. Two thumbs up.

The menu comprises mostly manti dishes but the quality is out of this world! The service was great, the food tasty and delicious and it's all great value too. Dome of the staff speak English too. Extremely cute location, In an old building we sat next to the window and enjoyed some really good dumplings and dolma, the guys working there were enthusiastic and friendly and I really liked, would definitely come back. (They also had a nice terrace on the street side).

Just landed in Cappadocia, dropped our bags, hit the town, admired some extremely photogenic rocks (fairy chimneys—worth the hype), and ended up at Keyif Restaurant for dinner. We ordered all the appetizers because everyone in my fam are chaotic food gremlins. Now, somewhere between our excitement and the language barrier, our order got hilariously mangled. Totally our fault…we talk fast, gesture vaguely, and assume everyone can read minds. They gave us two zucchini blossom orders instead of one blossom + one fried zucchini. Tragedy? Not even close. Keyif handled it like pros: took stuff off the bill, handed us free dessert (instant loyalty secured), and looked genuinely worried we’d torch them in a Google review. Spoiler alert: we will not. In fact, we’re giving them a 7 out of 5 stars for grace under appetizer pressure. Highly recommend. Come for the mezes, stay for the humility.

They do combo platters so defitinely try more than one type of meat (heck try a few dozen). The soup, salad and crushed spicy tomatoes were complimentary and truly full of flavor. We were so much captured in the taste that we stopped taking pictures after one or two plates and just dropped the phones and concentrated on the food. They also gave us complimentary tea and baklava. The baklava was unbelievable and we ended up buying 3 kilograms worth of it. Turns out the pastry shop next door is owned by this restaurant and bears the same name and yes, you guessed it, the deserts are all house made too.. If you will visit just one restaurant in Amasya, make it this one.
