Ancient Ruins
Myra Ancient City is a captivating archaeological site that offers a journey through history and ancient architecture. Located in Demre, the excursion spans approximately 100 kilometers and includes iconic attractions such as St. Nicholas Church, ancient rock tombs, Liquia, the Roman amphitheater, and the submerged island of Kekova. Visitors can explore beautifully carved rocks and old Roman buildings while also enjoying exhibitions at the archaeological museum.
This place is simply breathtaking! The Lycian tombs of the ancient city of Myra were built before Christ. The rock-carved tombs were a symbol of power and prestige, representing closeness to the sky and the gods. They believed that if the tombs were located at high altitudes, their souls would be carried to the heavens more easily. The theater, on the other hand, could hold up to 10,000 spectators. It still feels magical and majestic. We were lucky to visit when there weren’t many tourists, and it was wonderful. We had a feline guide who accompanied us on every step! The entrance is included in the MüzeKart if you have it. Don’t hesitate to enter this place if you have the chance.

Myra (Greek: Μύρα) is an ancient Lycian city. In the 3rd century BC, the city came under Greek and later Roman influence. Currently, its location is occupied by the cities of Demres or Calais. The ruins of the Greco-Roman theater and rock-cut tombs have survived from the ancient city of Myra. Mentioned in the Bible (Acts 27:5)
Gintautas G — Google review
Its quiet something to see these ancient tombs carved inside big rocks. If you are driving to a location and can take this route, its worth a stop.
Protodzki — Google review
Archeological site. Not that much to see, not that well maintained, no explanations. Artefacts are publicly exposed and degraded by touching. Entrance fee €13 for non-Turkish citizens. Total rip-off
Rogier H — Google review
Really nice ancient ruin tombs with a good bit of history. It is just what you see in the pictures but only £11 per person so worth a visit if you're nearby.
Matt B — Google review
Great historic site A few tourist shops €13 to enter
Jenny S — Google review
Amazing place to look at, especially when you've got the right tour guide to tell you all about it
Sharon L — Google review
Very nice place! Recommend it, though be aware that the site is not really too big, and the entrance fee is quite expensive. Is it worth it? Well, I did enjoy it, yet I kind of felt we would be able to walk around more places, but you can see everything in half an hour.

Ancient Ruins
Myra ruins, an ancient Lycian archaeological site near Kas, offers a captivating morning exploring historical remnants like rock tombs carved into cliffs, an ancient theater, and crumbling stone reliefs. The large theater and mountain-side tombs showcase the area's rich history and craftsmanship. Surrounded by vast greenhouses and open-air farms, the necropolis provides a unique setting for these impressive structures.
Great opportunity to see Lycian Tombs so close plus the best preserved Lycian amphitheatre.

A must see place in the middle of a forgotten area. Its surprising that no one built anything around it. Such an important place, I hope the excavation goes deeper and reveals much more than we see.
Ece S — Google review
Very interesting place. Some lovely little shops. And cafe. Could do with a little tidy up as the whole site is tired. But an enjoyable 2hrs
Jane A — Google review
The ruins were interesting, with several very well preserved Roman and Lycian ruins, but the infrastructure leaves a lot to be desired. Quite expensive entry cost which doesn't tally up to the quality of the maintenance of the site.
Alex T — Google review
Good and small ancient city. The amphitheatre is nice and the tombs are preserved nicely. Before the city there are some amenities, sitting for some refreshments, buying some souvenirs, etc. And I saw tours are coming if you don't have your own transport
Harun A — Google review
Nice place. Fee entrance is a bit expensive (13 €), because it's just an amphitheater.

Lycian Rock-Cut Tombs of Myra

4.7
(571)
The Lycian Rock-Cut Tombs of Myra, located just 2km from Demre, are a captivating reminder of the city's rich history. These tombs were carved by the ancient Lycian people during the Late Bronze Age and feature intricate designs and classical columns dating back to the 4th century. The site also includes a grand amphitheater and offers audio recordings for an additional fee.
Iconic Lycian stone tombs carved into the cliffs. These tombs, with their intricate details and unique architecture, showcase the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the Lycian people, making Demre a fascinating destination for history enthusiasts.
Mila C — Google review
Tha price is to high for 15 minutes walk around. And the exchange rate from Turkish Lyra to Euros is very high. If in all places is aprox. 1eu=45 lyra then in this ticket place is 1eu=49 lyra --- Turkish bizness works well ☹️
Janis A — Google review
The site is incredible but I failed to see the need of paying the 13€ entrance. Given the tombs are carved on the cliff, you can very well just admire from the entrance …
Somoyan — Google review
The €13 entrance fee for foreigners (6.5 times more than for locals) is not worth it, especially if you're not staying in Demre (although I don't know why anyone would stay in Demre).
Javier C — Google review
This is poor value for tourists. They charge €13 for entry which is much more than comparable sites. All you see is the amphitheatre and some rock tombs. The walkways in the site are poorly maintained and also the access road. All you see is in the photo attached.
Tom S — Google review
Fantastic ancient Greek theatre and carved tombs! Above the theater, carved into the cliffs, are the famous Lycian rock-cut tombs, dating back to the 4th century BCE. These tombs reflect the fusion of local Lycian traditions and Greek artistic styles, often resembling miniature houses or temples. They show the deep reverence the Lycians had for the afterlife.

SANTA CLAUS RESTAURANT is located in Demre, a city known as Myra in the time of St. Nicholas. This coastal town is not far from Patara, renowned for its Lycian ruins and captivating beach. After his death, St. Nicholas was initially buried on an island close to Fethiye, now known as St. Nicholas Island. However, his final resting place is here in Demre.

St. Nicholas Church in Demre is a grand Byzantine church that holds the tomb of St. Nicholas, believed to be the inspiration for Santa Claus. The church offers a historical journey with attractions like ancient rock tombs, Liquia, the Roman amphitheater, and the submerged island of Kekova. It also serves as a museum with sarcophagus of Nicholas and other saints' images.
It was amazing to go with a tour guide. Even without it, the church is incredibly fascinating to explore with many nooks and crannies. The floors are slippery, so, I recommend going with a non-slip shoe. If possible, have someone who knows about the church join to get detailed information. The details of the pillars and walls murals were in good shape with a little wear, but, it is magical place.

It's a famous place but since I'm not a believer I didn't amaze me so much since I saw much better churches. Around it there is lot of shops that sell religious things. Other than that it's easy to go just be careful about the maps since it might show you the other street.

Such a stunning church. Architecture and painted walls was very beautiful. History and information about the church was alot. Audio guide was so good to listen too.
Melanie W — Google review
St. Nicholas Church in Demre, Turkey, was built around AD 520 over the tomb of Saint Nicholas, the 4th-century bishop of Myra whose generosity inspired the Santa Claus legend. This Byzantine basilica, decorated with mosaics and frescoes, housed his relics until many were taken to Bari, Italy, in 1087. Used as a church until 1923, it’s now a museum and on UNESCO’s tentative list.
Marina S — Google review
The church itself is not necessarily the most impressive, but its history (with the Russian Tzar adding paintings, a dome, etc) and significance make it a must see, even if you are not a believer. The man that preached there is essentially the origin story of modern day Santa, and his coffins are there!
Johan S — Google review
A very interesting place with history and many stories of Bishop Nicolaus. A must if you are close by.
Dolores D — Google review
St. Nicholas Church is one of the most spiritual places I have ever visited. You can feel it. The structure of the church, and the fact that it has retained much of its originality is lovely. You can spend hours here. On one side you can see people worshipping while visiting the church. Visit if you have time 🤞🏻

Demre Ipek Restaurant is an excellent dining establishment offering delicious Turkish cuisine and top-notch service. With two visits under my belt, I can attest to the quality of their food, particularly their delectable Turkish dishes. The reasonable prices make it a standout choice as compared to other restaurants in the area. Additionally, its proximity to Myra Antik Kenti makes it a convenient stop for tourists. The friendly staff and speedy service contribute to its popularity among locals.
The place with moderately-priced menu, wonderful food, but above all - wonderful people. We were treated like dear friends and received unique gastronomic experience!

Had the chance to enjoy lunch here during my organized trip. Not sure of the lunch price, but options included grilled chicken or doner beef, or pide to choose. As you can see in the photo, the plate was generously filled with a mix—Adana, bulgur, vegetables—plus shared tomato salad and spicy peppers. Great food, fast service, and a delicious dessert at the end.

It pleasantly surprises customers with generous portions at affordable prices, making it an ideal choice for families. The establishment also boasts a delightful playground for young children to enjoy. However, one improvement suggestion is to ensure the hand wash paper dispenser is regularly refilled. Another customer was amazed by the abundant quantities of food served here, remarking on its exceptional value.
The best Turkish restaurant I've ever dined in. The food is really really delicious. We had a minced egg pide and a pilav rice with döner. The combination of the minced meat and the scrambled egg was outstanding. The meat was very tender and delicious, and the rice was fresh and tasty. I also had a fresh orange juice and it was marvelous. I'm so happy to have discovered such an amazing place in this small town. Thank you for giving me one of the best dining experiences of my life.

Very large city with a theatre that we thought was one of the nicest we have seen, because of its preservation and the carved feet at the bottom of the bleachers. I believe it is now closed because of fires, so said a sign. So try to find out before you go. There is also a small market just before the turnoff. They have roasted corn, vegetables, fruits and spring water for free.

Off all the ancien ruins sites we visited in the area this one was my favourite! Out of the beaten path, less touristy, beautiful views with the mountains and all, the ruins are also very well preserved. If you go with a car, be aware it just not an easy climb but it’s worth it.

My words are not enough to describe the antique city. So unique location. Great preservation. Ari-ka-wanda. The city by the high rock. Lives up to its beautiful name. Go see the huge rock face the proud city is located under. Truly amazing. Take your time. Embrace yourself for bunch of steep climbs for the city is founded on steep terrain under the said high rock! Well Worth it though. Go find the artchitecture marvels of the dug out water canals. Well preserved floor mosaics. Great views of the whole valley over which the city looks. Feel the breeze on your lucky face and imagine why the inhabitants of the gorgeous Ari-ka-wanda were lazy people for a lush lifestyle of its time. My humble pictures are far from telling the story of the once mighty Ari-ka-wanda!

Despite its appearance resembling more of a canteen than a traditional restaurant, the quality of the food is considered decent by visitors.

(Translated by Google) Those who go on a Demre-Mira-Kekova tour from a guide for 50 BCH/person. (price for May 2019), then I warn you right away that you will come to this “chic” establishment for lunch. Exactly in it 🙃 I'll clarify why 1 star, the problem is not with the establishment, it doesn't bother you. You come to a baryzh's establishment, you see a baryzh's establishment and you eat baryzh's food in a baryzh's establishment. Everything is fair 👌 The problem is that when you pay 100 bucks, you want at least some kind of service, but here they shove you into a canteen, where they give you first, second and salads, which cost 2.5 dollars if you are a mere mortal from the street. And then the guide brings the herd in bulk, and he probably has a kickback from the person. And when you read the amount of 2.5, and I learned this from the review (thank you, kind and sick person, because I gave this place 5 stars and wrote the price), you can imagine the quality of the food 🧐 You can’t call it chic , and the eggplants tasted so disgusting that it was better not to eat them. In general, take Mezim with you, it’s good for your stomach 🤫 P.S. did you like the review? Like it, because I will save your stomach from negative impressions if you haven’t bought the Demre-Mira-Kekova tour yet 😇 And if you want to know more, then come to my account, there are all the descriptions of the places on this tour! P.P.S. It’s a pity I didn’t take a photo of these wonderful dishes, you would have appreciated it 😋 (Original)

Moreover, during the tour, drinks are not included in the price. (Translated by Google) A very hard to reach place, and obviously completely unexplored. Mentioned by historians 2000 years ago as a center of worship of Apollo and fortune telling by priests "by fish". I did not find any modern references. I was unable to find information about the church, and it is VERY large for such a small and uninhabited gorge. That is, Christians revered this clearly pagan sanctuary. The most interesting thing is that there is a hydrogen sulfide spring there, which is not mentioned anywhere. That is, fortune telling could have taken place, as in other famous oracles, through poisoning the priest's body with volcanic gases, and not only "through fish". Access is very difficult, the ancient path is not observed, modern tourists have trampled many clearly not the most convenient options.

We went there without expectations. But the site is beyond expectations. There is an underground cistern and a large renovated grain store which is now a museum. A really beautiful site in a very quiet location.

Average ruined city. Not much in terms of fine and exquisite architecture or delicate carving - seems it was more a trading and working community rather than sophisticated one like in several other cities. Large Lycian museum is a well-preserved one, which is interesting, but findings in there are scarcely distributed all over its vast halls. Water cistern is almost intact too. Together it’s only two reasons to visit the place. Cashier doesn’t accept card as a payment, though they have Pos available in the shop museum:(

This place was so cool! We were planning on just going to Myra but stopped here also when we saw it driving by. I am so glad we did! It was definitely one of the most interesting ancient sites we have seen. The granary is incredible, and the way they restored it and turned it into the museum was really fascinating, the size of it gives you a sense of how much grain was being shipped to Rome. We also loved the replica of the ship, I never really understood why the pots were shaped like that, but when you see them stacked in the ships cargo hold, it makes sense.

Şişci Hüseyin, a renowned restaurant in Demre, is known for its delectable barbecues that are truly delightful. The succulent meat effortlessly melts in your mouth, eliminating the need for excessive chewing. While the piaz beans could have been slightly crunchier, there are superior options available in the market. It is worth noting that bread replaces pita as an accompaniment to their dishes.

I fell in love with this place. The owners originally ran the Pizza Bella in Vienna, Austria but they moved to Demre because they, as themselves put it, fell in love with the city. The taste of Mexicano Pizza is great and especially the authenticity of this family run business is like no other. Even the young daughters of the family are involved in the business, which adds to its coziness and authenticity. But the young ones unfortunately mistook our orders sometimes. The mistakes were promptly corrected though. Prices are reasonable and they use decent quality ingredients as well. 100% recommended!

Breakfast restaurant
I visited a small restaurant called Uzun Ali'nin yeri while exploring Turkey on a rented bicycle. The place was managed by Hassan and his mother, who were doing an excellent job. Hassan spoke English fluently and had a warm smile that reflected his kind-hearted nature. He graciously allowed me to visit his kitchen and answered my occasional curious questions with enthusiasm.
We were skeptical about the place as many touristic places but we were wrong, the food was fantastic, the grilled seabass was truly grilled and we'll cooked (not like other places they say grilled but it's actually pan fried, the shrimp is a must to try, the Turkish breakfast was delicious and we'll balanced, the jam homemade, definitely worth yo drive an hour to come for lunch

I often visit this place as I feel very welcomed here. Uzun Ali’s son Arif abi is a person of a gem. He makes sure that the delicious food served to you is accompanied by a joyful conversation. Fish, meze and breakfast are stellar. The way they serve the breakfast is in Istanbul standards, if not better. Plus there’s quality filtered coffee which is rather difficult to find in Demre (you can even opt for mocha pot). Lastly, you can comfortably visit this place during winter as there’s a wood burning stove.

Kumsal Restoran offers an excellent ambiance and a fantastic selection of music, blending 70s psychedelics rock, jazz, and electronic tunes. The beach is stunning, and the food is delicious. They offer various options like fish, burgers, pasta for children, all served with a side of vegetables and grilled cheesy mushrooms. The fish stands out as especially tasty. Notably friendly service from the owner who even gave a child a real crystal as a gift.
Very nice place with a charming view. We were here in early November - the water is incredibly warm and there are no people at all. The restaurant is very cozy, with character, there is a good pleasant atmosphere. This is still the best place I've ever been to the beaches of Turkey. I HIGHLY recommend!

Very cool place! The food was honestly superb. I feel that the prices were pretty similar to New York City so maybe a bit high for Demre. But then again, the place is beautiful and it is right on the beach. The sand is literally right next to the patio. So overall, a beautiful spot on a serene beach and I definitely recommend it.
Nick S — Google review
Rather isolated little beach cafe, deserted in June. Dirty gravel road. Nothing but a few folks and their dogs. Atmosphere is all beach, sand, surf, sun, old wood. Quiet, waves crashing. Sand is a bit messy. Lounges are old wood, uncomfortable. Music is definitely a plus for this place. Not too loud, western, soulful. Springsteen. Makes you want to sit longer and soak up peace in this world. Everything thing will be ok. WC is an outhouse. Service was a tad grumpy the day we visited.

Great music and atmosphere. Loved hearing mix of 70s psychedelics rock, jazz and electronic music. Beautiful beach. The food was good as well. We ordered fish, a burger and pasta for a child. Pasta and fish came with some vegetables and grilled cheesy mushrooms. The fish was especially delicious. The owner was nice to us, even gave our child a real crystal as a present. Yes, there are wild dogs on the beach, but they are everywhere here. Some were very friendly and wanted to be pet. Others didn’t care about us, but quarrelled among themselves. The restaurant’s cat joined us at the table immediately, but we love animals so we didn’t mind and shared some food. I’d happily comeback to this magical place.

Leech Beach is a splendid public beach boasting a stunning azure flag. Its sandy shoreline, adorned with fine grains perfect for constructing sandcastles, and its shallow waters make it an ideal spot for non-swimmers. Though there are some weeds in certain areas, the beach offers a delightful environment. On one side, visitors can find convenient amenities like an open-air shower and a changing facility situated near the road. On the opposite end lies a hotel with more people frequenting it alongside rocky formations.
pictures from 19 October. Because summer season is finished, it's calm and quit. The temperature is OK. you won't get a sunburn at this time of year. For me it's perfect timing for people who don't like crowded places. I was just swimming alone nobody around :)

Lovely quiet beach. Great for watching the sunset. Two cafes that look out onto the sea and with friendly owners. Easy to park a car or motorbike nearby and almost always empty apart from weekends at this time of the year. Good for swimming. sandy beach. Negatives are that there is a lot of rubbish/plastic washed up as well as stray dogs who can chase you if you’re on a moped. The dogs come and sit next to you and guard your belongings if you go in the sea which for some people is a good thing but others not. Can see the mountains behind Demre from the beach and it’s big enough to have a decent walk along.

This is a beautiful beach! We went on a hike along the shore. We came upon some ruins and it was a lovely hike. I highly recommend it.
Carrie J — Google review
The beach is quite wide and the water is shallow so it is suitable for depth and distance. There are not many facilities around it, there is a small business. We drank Turkish coffee and it was very delicious. The toilets are outside but the sink tap was broken so we could not wash our hands. Overall, it was nice.
Vera G — Google review
A wonderful blue-flag beach. Sandy, fine sand suitable for castle-making) . Shallow waters. Weeds somewhere. On the right side of the beach there is a free outdoor shower and a changing room, right near the road. To the left there is a hotel, more people there, and rocks. Litter in the bushes near the road and somewhere on the beach that needs to be attended if they want to keep their blue flag reputation.
Якунина Н — Google review
It is a long and sandy beach, take your umbrella and portable chairs with you. There is a little coffee called kumsal in the beach for a cold beer and chips.

Beach
Çayağzı Plajı is a serene and beautiful spot located in the south Lycian Way. Visitors can rent kayaks to paddle down the nearby river, where they may be surprised by the abundance of turtles gathering near the reeds. The water may not always be clear, but with patience, one can observe these fascinating creatures swimming and breathing. Camping close to the west part of the beach offers a peaceful experience, especially at sunset or sunrise.
The place to see turtles in Turkey!!! I saw 5-6 turtles swimming among the boats that moored at the harbor at 10:30am. Wonderful experience! No need to rent a kayak to see turtles. It was also nice to walk along the beach to the far end where the river stream is. The beach is perfect for nature lovers, but has no facility for beach loungers though because it's a protected area.
Mai N — Google review
Beautiful beach, the water is calm and in the beginning it is half warm half cold, because 2 cold rivers are flowing into the sea there, later on its normal sea temperature. Beach is sandy. Not a lot of people. Parking is 50 turkish lyra.
Jan J — Google review
fascinating place, i especially liked the spot where the river falls into the sea. But as usual there are plenty of garbage which has ruined my early positive impression
Красива Д — Google review
Same thing with a lot of Turkey. Garbage everywhere. It's a known sea turtle place yet boats go in and out with extreme speed. You literally walk through gas and oil in the water you can see. The beach is full of plastics, glass bottles, etc. Turkey really needs to step up and make an environmental change and protect it's wildlife.
Timothy R — Google review
You won’t want to stay on this beach. It’s a good idea to rent a boat at the harbor here and go visit Kekova Island.
Ninu P — Google review
This place is the most beautiful and peaceful part of the south Lycian Way. I suggest to camp close to the west part of the beach next to the stream river. There are big turtles caretta caretta coming to this stream so if you stand on the tiny bridge you can have a beautiful spot to watch them.
Natalie T — Google review
We came here in early June, rented a kayak, and paddled down the nearby river. Amazing how many turtles there were!! We didn’t expect to see so many. The water isn’t always clear so it can be hard to see… but if you are quiet you will notice them moving and breathing. They gather near the reeds on the side of the river. A few swam under our boat!
M — Google review
Nice beach and cold river at proximity. Presence of turtles. Chartered boats shouldn't throw bread overboard as it ends on the beach.

Ancient Ruins
One of the best antic cities I visited in Turkey:) Really huge, a lot of buildings, spectacular views and great hiking Also free entrance and very few people But I must say it was a bit tricky to find the place I attached the map screen to the review. So, about the path to ancient city (blue circle) using the map screen symbols: 1. We did the full green circle path (around 8000 steps), but I wouldn't recommend repeating it, if you don't want tricky hiking with a lot of uncertainty. But we did it with my 60yo parents and they were in flip flops😂 So you can try. 2. We left the car near Yavu mosque, but it was possible to drive directly to the ancient city (blue circle). The path is in purple. 3. The main point is the amphitheatre and it is depicted with a green dot. It is really cool
Stanislav A — Google review
We didn't realize there was a road so we parked at the bottom and trekked our way up through the stickers and scaled the rocks. We made it in about an hour and it was worth every scratch and scrape. Breathtaking.
Amber — Google review
One of the well hidden ancient places. A little tricky to get there through a dirt road but no SUV or jeep needed. You'll find some tombs, an amphitheatre and a beautiful sunset view over the hills. Much more to see on foot if you take a walk around.

Kyaneai (also spelled Cyaneae or Kyenai) is an ancient Lycian city located on a high, rugged cliff near the village of Yavu in the Demre district of Antalya Province, Turkey, on the highway between Kaş and Demre. It was the second-largest city in central Lycia after Myra and its Lycian name is thought to have been Xbahñ. The Greek name, Kyaneai, means "dark blue" but it is also known as "Ringing Rocks" due to the sound the wind makes when hitting the stones. Kyaneai's history dates back to at least the 6th century BCE, and it grew in importance during the Hellenistic period, eventually having the largest territory among the cities in the region and becoming a member of the Lycian League after 168 BCE. The city is most famous for its extensive burial grounds, boasting the largest sarcophagus necropolis in Lycia, with close to 400 sarcophagi, many featuring the distinct pointed-arch lids characteristic of the area. The ruins visible today mostly belong to the Hellenistic and Roman periods, including a relatively well-preserved Hellenistic theatre built into the natural slope. Other remains include city walls and the monumental Iason Monument, which honors a wealthy and philanthropic citizen who served as the Lyciarkh. Although the city thrived through the Roman and Byzantine eras, serving as a bishopric center, it was eventually abandoned around the 13th or 14th century.
Reha O — Google review
Magnificent untouched site above the village of Yavu. Well worth the effort. The track with care is manageable in a normal car. Impressive theatre, 100+ pillar tombs and extensive city walls. Actual site is shown where yellow star is.
Ray P — Google review
Lovely, peaceful place. My favorite was the little natural “garden” at the center of the amphitheater with the subtle aroma of flax-leaf Dafne flowers
Wen H — Google review
I'd give 10 stars if I could. Ancient theater in the middle of nowhere, no tourists and no tickets. One of my favorite places in Turkey. I suggest leaving a car at the village beneath and enjoy hiking to get there
Egor O — Google review
Note: the actual site is 1km further along the track than indicated here. An isolated site with tricky dirt track access. Well worth the effort required to visit. I spent 2 hours exploring the extensive ruins in complete solitude. On a hot day make sure to bring plenty of water as the tracks winding through the shrubby undergrowth are steep and demanding.

Kahve Rengi Mutfak is a family-run restaurant that offers an exceptional dining experience. The place is known for its outstanding FU BURGER and homemade baklava. Despite the staff primarily speaking Turkish, the friendly service and delicious cuisine make it a must-visit spot. Visitors have praised the cleanliness, reasonable prices, and tasty dishes such as Cheeseburger with Cajun fries and pesto pasta.
It is a family-run restaurant. I always do my research before eating at any place. I traveled a half-hour to test it out with my kids after reading the recommendations, and it didn't let me down. Excellent service and wonderful cuisine were provided.

Wow! Honestly: best hamburger 🍔 in my life!!! If I would have died yesterday I would have not believed into this… Mom is cooking and the sun is waiter. ALL OF YOU: try the FÜME BURGER. It is outstanding!!! And they have home made baklava as well. They only speak Turkish. But if you are a good gest, you do not need any words here! Trust me.

Excellent food, amazing service. I recommend it for everyone. Thank you

Amazing place! Me and my wife are visiting Demre when we noticed this place for the price. But the food is also pretty amazing! Great quality bread and meat. I have been to many restaurants in Türkiye since my arrival 3 weeks ago and I can tell you many of them have issues. Sometimes the food is too high price or they don’t actually charge you what is written. Sometimes there is so many flies circulating the seating area of the restaurant and you can’t think furthermore even think of eating casually. In other restaurants staff can be unfriendly and or have poor food. Let me tell you something. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE PLACES. THIS PLACE IS STRAIGHT UP GREAT IN EVERY CATEGORY. For the rest of our stay we plan on going everyday. Staff was very friendly and the owner or manager (not sure his title) was super nice also and gave us free Turkish tea and wanted to take a picture with us! Amazing! I guess people can tell we are tourists. Highly recommend for affordable food that is good quality in central Demre.

Thank you again.

(Translated by Google) If it weren't for the guy at the counter who looked like Hugo's brother Tolga, the service wouldn't even deserve 3 stars. They must have had a very busy, very difficult day, but shouldn't menus be delivered hot at the last minute on a busy day? We ordered Iskender kebab, and it arrived ice cold. We were there on a Wednesday evening, so I only had time to comment. When you first visit a city, you want to eat meat from trusted, reputable restaurants, so we came with that intention, but we were very disappointed. The tomato sauce was watery from the wait, and eating it was a real ordeal. I think this establishment should be worthy of the smiling face of the guy who looks like Tolga. (Original) Kasadaki Hugo'nun Tolga abisine benzeyen abi olmasaydı hizmet 3 puanı bile hak etmiyordu.
