An open area play area for kids in between the valley surrounded by mountain range. If you have young kids they will simply love it. It is a free park so you can stay as long as you want. If it is a sunny day then you will have an amazing time. Disclaimer: no toilets or may be they open during other season.

Great place to eat ina a family friendly environment. Be sure to leave your car as far as you can so you can enjoy a walk along the small river. You will see a waterfall and if you are brave enaugh dip your bare feet in the 7 degrees Celsius water. It's worth it. Tame animals on the road. Pigs, cows, chickens. Amazing views!
Marco C — Google review
A wonderful place to walk but always be conscious of the dangers of the Pale. Good footwear is a must and a map essential although paths are well marked but sometimes easy to miss in mist or rain. Our dogs love the area but are well equipped with boots to protect paws from the sharp stone underfoot. Scenery spectacular.

The Geologico di Falcade trail is an intriguing geological route spanning 1.5 km. As you traverse the path, informative signs detail the evolution of this area during prehistoric times. The trail is enveloped by lush foliage and features the captivating Carezze waterfalls, which can be observed approximately one-third into the journey. Initially, the terrain offers a gentle incline, gradually progressing to a narrower and steeper track.

The Museo della Grande Guerra Passo Fedaia is a truly impressive museum filled with an extensive array of artifacts and testimonials. The setting may be compact, comprising only a few rooms, but it compels visitors to reflect on the harrowing journeys taken by young soldiers forced into icy battles. While the ticket price may be slightly steep, it is undoubtedly worthwhile. However, some staff members could benefit from being more amiable.
Very interesting memorial from the first World War time.

Nice place with a small ww1 museum. It had good items and lots of books for sale.
Carrie M — Google review
I sat in the car resting after the long drive on the empty museum parking with the door open. I came from far away to see the museum. There was no sign that read private or parking forbidden. When I got out of the car I was aggressively yelled at by a man from the museum and told to leave immediately. He said the parking was private and I could not visit the museum even though it was officially open. I was angrily accused of being a German and misbehaving although I was not told beforehand why. I would not recommend visiting this place if you are a German woman and alone. Bring a strong aggressive man with you. This man working at the place is not capable of communicating without yelling at you if you accidentally do something wrong you are not aware of. There are no signs telling you what you can do. This man is either racist or has a aggression problem. He should not be working in a public space. The museum itself is amazing! It was still worth being yelled at. I came back later avoiding the aggressive man.

(Translated by Google) I wanted to see the Marmolada from below and we discovered it by chance. Since we were there, why not go in? The ticket price is negligible, only €6, and I can assure you that for what you see, it's definitely not much. The museum is small but very well laid out. It's full of artifacts found over the years on the Marmolada glacier, which is still yielding many today, as it melts. It gives a vague idea of what the kids of '99 must have gone through in that period and makes you think. It's highly recommended.

4.8
(105)
Viel dal Pan is a unique gourmet restaurant located at the Rifugio Luigi Gorza, offering stunning views of the Dolomites. It is the only restaurant of its kind at this altitude and provides a panoramic view all the way to the Marmolada from its sun terrace. The trail leading to Viel dal Pan is accessible to all, with options for both leisurely and more active routes.
The path is easy enough from the Belvedere to the Viel del Pan restaurant-Refuge. It’s not easy at all for the refuge to the Fedaia Lake: some sectors are very steep and you need to hold firmly on to the metallic ends. Despite of this, the panorama is really amazing, superbe and breathtaking. Dear lector, stop for a whole along the path and admire the majesty of the Marmolada in front of You

Very beautiful area to hike in although a lot of people on the day we hiked (Sunday) - rating relative to most places would be 5 stars - it was very special; but relative to the other 7 hikes we did in the Dolomites It was probably in our second tier (Tre Cime, Odle-Puez, Cinque Torre I would rate above) - but nice hike, easy to park, well marked where to start and the first few kilometers of the hike - all the way to Refugio Viel Del Pan - but the next turn off to Porto Vescovo was not well marked and we ended up descending too low and had to scramble back up a tricky route (Route 601A) where some of the trail had been washed away on a rather steep cliff) - but the sites were great; the food at the top was excellent and we found the correct route back to the starting point.

Restaurant
Restaurant Luigi Gorza is a mountain refuge located at the top of 'Porta Vescovo' offering stunning views of the Marmolada glacier and the Dolomites. The panoramic terrace provides an equally spectacular panorama from the Sella massif to the Tofane group. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with delicious food and drinks, albeit slightly more expensive due to its mountain-top location.
It's a great place for having a coffee and a strudel when going for a walk ⛰️ or a climb 🧗‍♀️. The spacious interior is divided into a restaurant section and a generally-accessible section. It's worth taking your cup of coffee ☕️ to the viewpoint on the terrace and to sip and enjoy it. It tastes much better, trust me 😁. My recommendation for you is to take a strudel AND a coffee, and go look at the Marmolada! 🤩

Amazing view on Marmolara and Sella group. Food was great and so the service. I was a bit surprised cos we expected it to be more expensive but it was not. Definitly worth visiting with bike in summer😁

This place is probably one of the most spectacular spots from the all Dolomites. A breathtaking 360 degrees perspective to Marmolada and its neighbourhood, and Sella on the opposite side. A typical mountain local architectural style, keeping the shape of the past "Autentico Italiano" combined with a cozy modern style of the interior design. Always a pleasure to make a stop here, and moreover, when you get a warm sunbath, you will be filled up with joy and happiness for an entire day.

pretty good place, amazing view, prices are decent, the place is slightly more expensive than in the town which is expected to be on too of the mountain, service is fast and food is delicious, good place to have a lunch in between slopes. I had goulash and it was tasty and fresh, not dry, I even ate a bit of a bread plate.

Rifugio Fodom is a charming mountain hut with a magnificent view of the Dolomites. Visitors praise the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, particularly the owner, Signora Nini, who makes everyone feel at home. The menu offers a rich selection of mountain delicacies and delicious pizzas. While some mention that the service can be slightly disorganized, they appreciate the efficiency and friendliness of the staff.
We loved this restaurant! The chips were the best ever and spaghetti carbonara and apple strudel were really delicious :)) The waiters were all very friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to go back tomorrow before we head back to Melbourne Australia. Thank you Rifugio Fodom for making our experience at Val Gardenia even better xxx

We’re probably spoiled when it comes to Rifugios in the Dolomites. Inside it is very cosy, outside more like a fast food restaurant. You’re still eating your last bite and they want to take your plate. No soap in the bathroom…. You have to pay upfront, like fast food. Not really a welcoming atmosphere. Ravioli were very good though.

(Translated by Google) Col di Lana is a massif in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rising to 2,450 meters above sea level. It is located in the municipality of Livinallongo del Col di Lana in the Alto Agordino area, in the Province of Belluno, in the Veneto Region. This mountain, which towers majestically over the village of Pieve di Livinallongo, is sadly infamous for being the site of the first bloody battles of the First World War between the Italians and the Austrians. The equipped trench trail, which winds along the mountain's picturesque crest, is particularly interesting.

Hiking area
Ascend to the historic site of "Ciadiniei," also known as "Panettone" by the Italians and Infanteriestellung by the adversaries. The route features a distinctive rocky formation called "Napoleon's Hat" before leading to a steep climb towards the nearby peak, marked by a mine crater. This area holds significant historical importance from its time as an Austro-Hungarian post during past conflicts.

These small businesses deserve to exist and be made known in the years to come. Ski resort
The Consorzio impianti a fune Arabba Marmolada is a premier destination for winter sports enthusiasts, offering an impressive array of gondolas and chair lifts that cater to both skiers and snowboarders. Nestled in the breathtaking Dolomiti Superski region, it boasts the highest point at Marmolada, where adventurers can tackle challenging slopes while soaking in panoramic views of stunning mountain scenery.
This is a very beautiful ski area. Looking up from the valley, on the left there is cable car, which is the quickest route to the Marmolada but which is really suited to good intermediates and better skiers. There is a long bubble lift on the far left and a new shorter one on the right all accessed from the same building. A chairlift ride away on the right hand side is a short chair which gives quick access to the Sella Ronda. This one also goes from the resort level but it is quite a walk from the bubbles.

Après ski joint meets pizzeria restaurant. Nice for a drink or two after the slopes on the Panorama terrace. Food includes pizza, hamburgers, spare ribs, pasta, and fries. Prices are reasonable. As is to be expected for an Après ski bar, the music is very loud, but they will turn the volume down once everyone goes to eat, either in the pizza restaurant, or in they own hotel. Please note: the loud music will last from 16:00 till at least 21:00 so if you want to eat in peace before that time, forget it. I frequented the Panorama terrace, the bar downstairs, as well as the restaurant area. I visited at different times of the day, the earliest at 15:00, the latest at 22:30. On a Monday, Thursday, as well as on a Sunday. My worst experience was the one time I ordered the spare ribs with baked potatoes. Well let's say, I tried to order it... Suffice it to say, the waitress forgot to transmit my order to the kitchen. So it was a simple miscommunication. When I inquired about my order after about 45 minutes, she told me there was 'some mistake'. But not that it was her mistake. And she did not even apologize, or take responsibility for it. That made me really feel like a second rate customer. She didn't even offer any resolution until I asked her what she was going to do about it, "Spare ribs in 10 minutes!" was her response. Okay, but since I was still waiting for some form of apology, I asked whether it would then at least be for free. Yes, she answered, for free. But that did not come from her, originally. In the mean time, I got really hungry, after now having to wait for about an hour for any food. No bread was offered at the table either, so I ordered it. In the end, I did get my spare ribs. They were okay-ish, but not great I would say. For good spare ribs, and other meat dishes, I would recommend going to Miky's Grill at the Burz Lift. As for this place: only eat pizza here! I did on another occasion, and this is at least something they are capable of. Mistakes can happen to the best of us, but I still think it would have been much better to simply apologize. Whether you do or you don't, this will show your character either way. Finally, when I wanted to pay for my drink, the younger waitress said it's ok, you don't have to pay anything. Cool, thanks.

Last year I met Bar Peter Arabba with cyclist friends, everything was really ok. Last week I was there again. When people in the table next to us accidentally broke a beer mug near my son’s dish, the waiters fastly brought him a new spaghetti dish. For free, just a nice detail. So satisfied, totally in love with this place. We’ll come back again!

Steven was an amazing host and what a beautiful lodge! The food was top notch, wine selection was amazing, and we had a lovely stay between our Dolomites hiking in the summer. I want to come back this winter now!

We had a great stay at the Incisa Lodge in June -- great room, high quality food, and friendly staff. It's much more like a gastro pub or inn than a typical dorm style rifugio.
