Lech in 4 days

If you only have 4 days to spend in Lech, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Lech is a classic Alpine village known for its upscale yet traditional atmosphere, set amid the dramatic peaks of the Arlberg region. In winter it’s part of one of Austria’s largest ski areas, offering extensive pistes, reliable snow, and well-managed lifts linking to Zürs, St. Anton, and other resorts. Summer brings scenic hiking and mountain biking trails, wildflower meadows, and panoramic cable car rides. The village itself features quality hotels, refined dining, and a compact, walkable center with a peaceful riverside setting.
With favorites like Pizzeria Don Enzo, Skihütte der WOLF, and Eislaufhalle, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Restaurant Ambrosius and Krone-Stuben so you can get the best taste of Lech while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Restaurant
Rud-Alpe Gastronomie offers a delightful dining experience with Austrian and regional specialties amidst stunning views of the Lech mountains from its spacious sun terrace. Families can enjoy the Gruner Ratsel-Ring and Arlenzauberweg trail, along with a water playground and petting zoo. Accessible by foot or cable car, this cozy restaurant serves fresh stir-fries, grilled dishes, and hosts special themed dinners on select nights.
Great food and great views with very quick service to get you back out skiing. We got the roast pork with red cabbage and bread dumplings and the Kaiserschmarrn (pancake bites) with stewed plums + 2 beers. The bill was ~68€ for this but everything was great and the location was very convenient.
Lucas C — Google review
Best view and good food. Was very busy at lunch time. We waited 25 minutes for the bill to come. Apart from this, it was overall a good experience.
Okinawa O — Google review
the location was real nice! Perfect place to soak up some sun after skiing. However the prices were quite expensive. ( Still worth it though) 😊
Lilia S — Google review
An absolute disgrace! We paid €258 for a fondue for four people, and it was nothing but a rip-off! The waitress didn’t bother to clearly explain the outrageous price of this fondue. What a nasty surprise when the bill arrived! A basic fondue with mediocre cheese, nothing special at all. But the worst part? They served pineapple and kiwi with it! Seriously? Thank goodness we at least got some bread to make it somewhat bearable. This restaurant is a total scam about that. Avoid it at all costs, especially in the evening, unless you want to be robbed!
Girard P — Google review
It is a kind of an obvious place to go when you are in Lech (you can use a 15-minute hike uphill as an excuse for having a beer or two), but that does not mean it is bad. The view from the terrace is extraordinary, and the Brettljause, though overpriced (like almost everything in Lech) is big and tasty.
Oplan S — Google review
Incredibly good food and such a convenient location, quite expensive though 2 schnitzel and a beer cost around €90
Bryce T — Google review
In my humble view the best “sunny” terrace across Lech ski area. My daughter and I ended up there at 10:00am and did not leave before 1:30pm 😅 The weather was too good to leave… Excellent “local” food, great atmosphere and nice staff. A very good combination. Unless you go early, book…..!!!
Andrea V — Google review
We were together with #Bigfoot and #Littlefeet twice during our short ski holiday at Rud Alpe. Strong! Eating at a hut is never cheap. So don't be surprised about the prices here. But I'll say one thing to all those who want to complain here: our meals were excellent value for money! The Kaiserschmarren was a poem, the Frittaten soup really delicious. You have to manage that in the kitchen first, when the seats suddenly fill up enormously within minutes around 12 noon. The benches outside were covered with blankets and the service was great and fast. The toilets were clean and well-maintained and the premises were generally tidy and a bit Western-like. And the view of Lech and the mountains is magnificent. And of course the hut is in a good location, as you can get straight back up the slope that takes you down to Lech, and then take the lift back up. We can only recommend Rud Alpe!

Restaurant
Balmalp Lech am Arlberg is a top dining destination in the Lech Zurs ski area, offering delicious delicacies and refined specialties. Located at an elevation of 2106m near the Zugerbergbahn chair lift top station, it provides a unique 360-degree view. This mountain restaurant is known for its extraordinary gourmet offerings and panoramic views.
We had a great time at Balmalp. The service was prompt, attentive, and friendly. The food (we had simple spaghetti with tomato sauce and with bolognese) was quick and tasty. The location is beautiful, especially on a sunny day! We ate outside on the deck, but the inside seating looked nice and cozy too. We would go back again.
Monika G — Google review
We made a reservation at this restaurant, expecting to be seated outside, as their website makes no distinction between indoor and outdoor seating. When we arrived, we were told that "outside reservations aren’t a thing" and that we’d have to wait for a terrace table to open up. After waiting an hour, we were finally seated — only to be asked to leave shortly after because "special guests" were arriving, and the restaurant had happily reserved the very same outdoor table for them. The wording "special guests" came directly from the staff. We won’t be coming back.

good food, spectacular views, great atmosphere and the best customer service by staff team from Nepal they made our experience much more enjoyable thank you

Nice mountain restaurant. Great view from the outside terrace. The food was a bit pricy but good! Quick and good service as well. If you like some Champagne you are at the right place here... but I guess this is about anywhere in Lech ;-)

Awesome, fast working crew, great food, and a lovely athmosphere. The whole place is so alive, and has everything you'd need when you take a break from skiing. Oh, and you can hold your helmet in the bottom of ,our chair!!! How awesome is that?!

Lovely, little bit hidden, spot! Very friendly staff in both German and English and the prices are Oke! The food is great and the view is even greater!

Perfect Apres Ski Restaurant and Champagne Bar/Champagner Hütte. Visited 2 days in a row because we liked it so much. They have a DJ in the afternoon and live music some nights. We had Margarita Pizza both days and loved it. We also had champagne, radler, white wine spritzer, and beer - everything was great. Decent prices for the top of a mountain. I’m not a very experienced skier and getting to and from this place was a bit tricky even though the surrounding slopes are “blue”.

I don't recommend beef salad as it tastes like a pure vinegar :) The beef itself is very nice. I also got a piece of plastic as a bonus in my salad. 😂

Strolz Sport & Modehaus Lech is a gem in Lech, offering phenomenal ski rental service with helpful and kind staff. The shop is known for its mastery in the art of boot fitting, ensuring that the boots fit perfectly or making modifications overnight. Additionally, it offers fabulous clothing at great prices and a wide selection of ski gear. Customers praise the shop for providing comfortable ski boots that allow them to ski pain-free for several hours each day.
I have had the best customer service experience at the Strolz Sport shop. We purchased a Technica boot from elsewhere (in Italy) just the week before coming to Lech, and after a week of skiing one of the boots cracked just under a clip. It was clearly a manufacturing fault. We visited the shop to ask for advice on what to do, and in just 30 min (at 5.30 pm on Fri when all businesses are shutting down), their sales manager sorted all out for us. She called Technica and arranged for a replacement for me, so I got a new boot straight from the shop. To our extra surprise, they also had a spare part for our magnetic mask (a separate issue), which they also solved immediately. We were super impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff were! Purchased a beautiful Arcteryx shell to celebrate the evening :)
Aleksandra E — Google review
I recently purchased the Technica X Strolz boots in Lech, and I’m so so happy! Felix guided me through the entire measurement process with great expertise, ensuring every detail was spot on. Having worn older Strolz made-to-measure models, I was initially nervous for my new shoes. However, after several ski days, I’m beyond impressed—no pain, an absolutely seamless fit, and a whole new level of comfort on the slopes because the collab with technica is really a big plus! A huge thanks to Felix for transforming my skiing experience—and for the schnaps! Highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for precision-fitted ski boots.
Storm S — Google review
Strolz is probably one of the best winter sports shopping place in the world. They have all the best brands for technical wear and tools from jacket to trousers, from ski to boots, the place is very very nice. We love Lech even if we come from Italy, but we love as relaxing goal and not for skying reason for which my wife and me prefers dolomites. I have a problem with ski boots and I need ski "made to measure", I just broken my first model of Fischer Vacum boots, and I need to replace them. Strolz apart from the above is very famous "made to measure" ski boot provider, starting the process from a ready books "Tecnica" and fitting and adapting to your personal feet. I booked the 4 nights stays organizing everything around the Strolz appointment to prepare the boots. They need one day to prepare them so I took also the time to try them once ready. On 28th Jan 25, I excited reached the shop where a first technician take care of me starting with sizing with a 3D scan machine, the first measure is to sizing properly the boot, the specialist was little bit surprise and upset and after going into the storage area come back with a colleague, they take again the size and discovered that my size was not available and they where not aware when new availability would have been ready (some says every day there is a delivery, some says where more then 3 weeks that new delivery was expected, I found this very un professional) Please note that my surprise and upsetting was at upmost because I made the reservation at the beginning of December, and the shop should have not gone short of size for people booking so long in advance. This shows how much is marketing is their service and poor care took for the customers.

We stay in the Alberg Hotel opposite Strolz each year. Staff have always been "very" helpful and attentive. Had my measurements taken for their Ski Boot which I shall have fitted next season 2026. Love the little bar/coffee bar upstairs. Can't wait for next winter and another of their gluhweins. Ron S-M

Fabulous clothing on sale at fabulous prices, it indulge yourself if you’re on holiday! Lovely souvenirs and take away available, cuddly toys and schnapps on the first floor. Easy to get lost among the mezzanine floors. Plenty of positive and helpful staff on hand to help you spend your money :)

We rented here and it was the easiest rental for all the years and all the places we have visited to ski. Bravo Strolz! God bless the Austrians for mastering the art of the ski rental. Also my daughter and I returned boots -- one too big and one too small -- after the first day of skiing and the staff was so helpful and kind. Thank you. Especially Julian from Argentina and his colleague from Argentina -- who took the time with us to find the right fit, and talk a little soccer! Again, a gem in Lech.
Lee D — Google review
It was the first shop I'd seen a good range of grip-walk boots. My wife and i are looking at them closely as the first time we had hands on. An attendant had asked if we needed assistance, but we declined as we were still understanding the range. As we picked up the third set of boots, the attendant came and snatched them out of our hands and put them back on shelf (we had all ready returned first set we inspected to the shelves). He said that if we were interested, that we should sit down and he would bring us boots. He was exceedingly rude! Not acceptable that we cannot inspect the boots before trying them. Very disappointed as we expected good service from a shop with such a reputation. We had already selected an expensive jacket to buy, but we left without purchasing and will never go back.

The Rüfikopf Seilbahn offers an exhilarating journey from Rufiplatz to the summit of Rüfikopf, soaring to an impressive altitude of 2,350 meters. Here, visitors can unwind at the Panorama Restaurant am Rufikopf while soaking in breathtaking views of the stunning Lech Zurs landscape. The area is renowned for its picturesque ski run that connects Lech and Zurs, featuring a mix of blue and red runs perfect for various skill levels.
This is the most beautiful ski run in the world. It takes you from Lech to Zurs. It's mostly blues with some red runs attached to the lifts. There is a cafe lodge about half way around. The only down side is a T bar lift, its rubbish. And I mean rubbish, they need a chair lift for the volume of traffic. You have to queue up a slope and edge around a dog leg on the slope too. The lift operators are a rough bunch and can be very rough in the manner they manhandled you on or off the bar. But it's still an amazing run and worth the ski pass. You can return to Lech using the bus. Unfortunately on busy days getting passed the lift queues to reach the bus stops is hard. Don't hang around in Zurs, Lech is much prettier and has more to offer in food and services.

Arlberg is a modest mountain cluster rising to 9,222 ft and renowned for its numerous winter sports resorts. The area offers stunning views and a vast ski terrain covering about 20 square miles, which is more than double the size of Vail. With an extensive network of 88 lifts and nearly ten connected villages, Arlberg provides an impressive skiing experience. Additionally, the scenic drive through Arlberg Pass offers beautiful mountain vistas.
Big mountains, good for the experience skiing .

Lovely ski resort with very nice little typical villages like Lech or Zürs. Considered as one of the bigger ski resort in Austria, it is quite disappointing to close almost 70% of the ski lifts when the wind is blowing and charging 100% full price! The ski resort does not apply high season / low season pricing making you pay for completely different ski experience. The worst is the commuting between villages, be ready to pay 5.80€ per bus ride from St Anton to Lech for a 20min ride. Of course this is NOT included in your ski pass! What a joke! 100% of the price charged, no possibilities of transferring between villages, and on top they charge you for the bus! It’s simply called a tourists cash machine!

Ski & Snowboard Areas
Ski Arlberg, encompassing St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Lech, Zürs, Warth, and Schröcken offers over 125 miles of interconnected slopes with a vast lift and cable-car system. The area features the Run of Fame circuit with an impressive combined vertical drop and off-piste trails from Mount Valluga. After skiing, enjoy lively apres-ski scenes like at MooserWirt in St.
Very beautiful and big resort giving a lot of opportunities. Prices are high (ski pass, food and drinks on the slopes) but this is well known. Slops are medium difficult in general but good maintained. Some signs on the slopes could be improved a little bit. Villages around the resort are amazing and each of them are giving different look. No problem with parking anywhere. All slopes were open in February.
Paulwarsaw — Google review
Spectacular skiing. The resort is absolutely massive, we could barely make it from one side to the other in one day, if you spent a week here you would hardly be able to get to all of the pistes. The abundance of high speed lifts and gondolas also ensured that we essentially never had to wait to get in some wonderful skiing in a gorgeous location.
Cale O — Google review
Beautiful but NOT for beginners First of all the area is stunning, the scenery the buildings - everything is like something from an Alpine postcard. Every restaurant we ate in over a week long trip was fantastic, however expensive, with the Post and Hotel Krone being our favourites. Our hotel, Garni Schneider, was in a perfect location for the ski lifts and restaurants. One thing the resort overall is is missing is bars and a bit of nightlife. Now the important part, skiing. This is 100% not a resort for beginners. If you read some of the reviews at 3 stars and below you will see the same comments. I class myself as a beginner having learned on artificial snow slopes and then having been on two prior ski holidays to Morzine, France. In Morzine I was comfortable on ALL of the blue slopes and even managed to challenge myself on a couple of red slopes. In Oberlech I couldn’t do the blue slopes, or when I did some of the “easier” ones (210) I was not able to enjoy them. The run down to Lech town was very steep and by 2pm covered in moguls (see photos). There are also a lot of really experienced skiers there who will zoom past you on the blue slopes. Nothing at all against them, but it does make it even harder. There are other things to do like nice walks, gondola rides, tobogganing and St Anton is a nice little town not too far away. Another tip is to bring cash, anything under 10 Euros and they don’t accept card in Austria. Taxis and buses are cash only. If you are an experienced skier, you will love this place! I was jealous of all those making it look so easy! :-) If you’re not and you want to enjoy the skiing, don’t go. Lots of the reviews on websites will say that it is good for beginners, it’s definitely not. Also worth noting that there are no green runs in Austria.
Paul B — Google review
Great ski area with fantastic slopes and a lot of offpiste area as well. Effectiv lifts so not much time waiting.
Werner J — Google review
One of the oldest and biggest ski resorts in Austria, comprising a total of 5 towns and their areas. You can tell it's old since some of the original buildings of the former villages are still standing. This is actually quite scenic, as is the whole area. St. Anton is also well known to tourists mainly due to international winter sports events so be prepared for bigger crowds during peak times. You'll find a big number of slopes of which many in my opinion are quite narrow for the mass of people going there. The pistes are nevertheless well groomed. Blue slopes can be rather steep already so be sure to have some experience before going. Food quality is OK, but expensive. The ski pass is one of the most pricy I bought, even parking in the towns is charged (when it's still free in most other resorts in Austria). Conclusion: as it goes for clothe brands and known tourist areas, you mainly pay a high price for the name. But you'll find similar or even better areas for a lower price in the same region. Unless you fancy the chic aprés-ski scene, then it's one of the on-vogue places to go (together with Ischgl and Obertauern).
TH3 T — Google review
Top reasons to go? Amazing ski area with modern infrastructure and some of the longest runs in the world. Quality restaurants and authentic mountain huts are everywhere for a nice lunch, schnapps or dinner. The town center of St Anton is, as expected, a little pricey but if you are on a budget there are still places where you can find some nice value. We stayed for a week and certainly did not run out of things to do for the first time...
Stephen A — Google review
Lech is Topnoch skiing area. Wide slopes, super groomed slopes and super good vibe in the restaurant. We really enjoyed it! It is true not a beginner friendly skiing slops.
Csaba B — Google review
Ski resort with famous name but the operation lacks compared to other ski resorts. It seems to me that when there is snow during the night it takes them too long to open. Also, when there is no operation, anybody will tell you the current status. We took ski bus to Stuben, they tell us that we have to take the ski bus to Lech. This ski bus schedule is once per hour and it just left. So we go back to the hotel to drive the car. 30 minutes later we check the ski lift status and ski lift is open. Terrible experience. I am not coming back. Summary: Pistes: 4* - can be challenging Operation: 1* Ski lifts: 3* - not the newest ones, some places are queued due to small capacity Food: 2* - overpriced compared to Sella Ronda (Lech and Zurs)

Nestled in the heart of Lech, Restaurant Ambrosius offers a delightful blend of international and Alpine cuisine alongside traditional Austrian dishes. With a spacious sun terrace that overlooks the charming village square, it’s an inviting spot to unwind after a day on the slopes. The menu features everything from delectable schnitzels—made with pork rather than veal—to comforting soups and hearty Rösti, all prepared with care.
We really enjoyed our lunch here and the restaurant had a lovely setting. Between the two of us, we shared the kasespatzle and a fried potato, egg and meat dish with salad, both big portions, tasty and reasonably priced. The food came out quickly and the service was polite and efficient.

Cosy spot with a nice menu. I knew in advance I wanted to try a schnitzel but they have more interesting things on the menu. Schnitzel disappeared in a flash 😋 I suppose Lech is a prime place. I don't if everywhere is expensive just expect London prices here. The only observation I would give is the slice toast with the starter. Austria has all these amazing breads. Why slice?

A very traditional restaurant with exquisite food, we had traditional soup of the day which was a clear broth with some cheese and bread dumplings and for the main we went with traditional Rosti which I associated with a brunch dish but in a very German/Austrian manner serving. It was delicious and the service was also great.

Absolutely excellent meal tonight. Very big portion for the price paid. Ribs seem to be a favourite as most tables ordered it. Came with Salad and Chips. Easily can feed two.

Nice terrace, relaxed atmosphere and ok service. The food was good, I read online that this is the best schnitzel in town... it was good, but not the best. The price was very good in comparison with the other restaurants. Side note, schnitzel here is made out of pork and not veal. The terrace is worth it, lots of space and you can bring your dog. Cheers!

best Schnitzel! amazingly done (I have been to Wien incl. Figlmüller and the Schnitzel at Kronen was still better!)

Great restaurant with high-end Austrian food, sometimes with a modern twist, or real classics like Wiener Schnitzel. Amazing wine selection with a good recommendation. Nice and cozy restaurant room. The only criticism could be a little lack of attention by the staff when a refill of our wine glasses was needed. We could not help ourselves, as our wine bottle was decanted and stored in the middle of the room. But this a complaint on a very high level. It was an amazing dinner and a perfect evening.

The food was very good. For me as a sauce lover, was little sauce. Prices are high for the portions you get. If you are hungry, definitely get a starter and or dessert. For my wife which eats little, the portion without starter was perfect. A little faupax happened where they served the medium steak to my wife and the well done to me. I’m not soo critical with that, we just switched plates. Note for wheelchair Accessibility: there is two steps to be taken to the elevator in order to get to the toilets

Elegant and up-nose place. Designed for royal families but not ashamed to serve us - simple people😉😉😉😉. Because they know - sometimes kings and queens wear plain clothes. Nice relaxed place when your eyes can rest upon beauty and elegance while your senses dive into glass of vintage Pauillac🍷🍷🍷. How deep? Just about the same as you can do into your pocket. Like this place

Lovely Champagner Hütte/Apres Ski/Ice bar for relaxing after skiing all day! Pretty pricey event for Lech though. They serve Bollinger champagne. They have good glühwein/mulled wine. The atmosphere is very nice with good music that you can dance to if you want. We went here twice because it was so nice. They have cow hide bar stools and fur mats on their benches with plenty of heating lamps to keep you toasty.

Lovely position looking over the ski slopes as you watch the skiers come down into the village in winter, or in summer your view turns towards the Omeshorn. They do great wiener schnitzels and famous for their club sandwiches.

Great location. Good food, but service is lacking many many of the most fundamental hospitality skills. Some skills they lack are innate, so it is a recruiting error, or the Krone has to cut corners because of labor shortages. Many other skills they lack are due to no training and no proper supervision.

Restaurant
Arlberger Dorfstubn is a traditional Tyrolean restaurant situated in the heart of St. Anton's charming village. The restaurant offers an authentic Austrian mountain experience with its traditional interior, menu featuring Tirolean dishes, and waitresses dressed in traditional attire. It is a great place to immerse yourself in the local culture while enjoying well-priced traditional meals.
The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the food was really good, we got two different pastas and two cordon bleus and these were both amazing choices. The desserts were also immaculate. The waiter was also really nice, made funny jokes and seemed to really enjoy the night and our company, if you are in Sankt Anton, go here!!

We received a recommendation for this place when looking for a local cuisine restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere was nice, and the waitstaff wore traditional outfits, but the service was lacking—our waitress was impatient with us. The food wasn’t great either. I ordered the braised beef with vegetables and a salad. The salad was okay, but the steak was dry, and the vegetables were completely tasteless.

It's a great bar with food for an uncomplicated meal. The food arrived quickly and was tasty. I like the breading on a Wiener Schnitzel to be a tad crunchier, but it was very tasty. The fries tasted a bit stale.

I had a great experience at the bar. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly. A lovely Greek girl was especially helpful in guiding me through the gluten-free options, making sure I had a safe and delicious meal. She was kind, cheerful, and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Definitely a place worth visiting!

Pleasant traditional restaurant with very friendly and attentive service. Prices average for the town. The ragout with chanterelle mushrooms was delicious, the wiener schnitzel was good served with cranberry sauce. We enjoyed our dinner there. It was summer and I expect it would be heaving in the ski season.

When it comes to greek mythology, Nikos is a god amongst men and Maira is a goddess. Never has there existed servers so attentive and personable. Nikos and Mair a make everyone feel at home with their wonderful hospitality. The food is absolutely amazing. In fact, it's the best in all of Austria. Don't waste your time at any other restaurant because this is the place to be.

We had an exceptional stay at the Aurelio Hotel in Lech. The rooms are beautifully designed, featuring modern amenities while maintaining a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The views are breathtaking, and the hotel offers an abundance of thoughtful amenities. The location is unbeatable—right on the piste, making it perfect for ski enthusiasts. All the staff members are incredibly kind and go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, creating a warm and welcoming environment. They were generous in offering an early check in and late check out making it sound almost self-understood. We appreciated this very much. The hotel exudes a friendly yet low-key atmosphere, which enhances the overall experience. I spent each day of my holiday on lech at the spa at Hotel Aurelio. It was divine. So quiet , clean and well appointed- with all the facilities and exceptional staff- In particular I had the best massage I’ve ever experienced - truly reformative and restorative. Lake
Nestled in a breathtaking mountain landscape, Lake Spullersee is a true gem for nature enthusiasts. Accessible via a scenic hike from Klosterle or through guided excursions from nearby hotels like Hotel Gotthard, this stunning reservoir offers an idyllic setting for both hikers and bikers alike. The journey to the lake takes you past vibrant alpine meadows where you might spot grazing horses, cows, and even playful marmots.
Very nice lake, with nice mountains arownd it. You can circle it, no problem. Lots of benches. There is also a place for rock climbing on the way to the Cabin.

(Translated by Google) Great lake! A wide path, suitable for strollers, leads more than halfway across the lake to the Ravensburger Hut. The other part is a hiking trail, which is very beautiful but quite steep in places (small children with backpacks are possible). Access is only possible during the day by hiking bus (€25 per person). The bus departs from Lech and has several stops along the way, which are also ideal for hiking :) (Original) Toller See!

Mountain peak
Omeshorn is a beautiful and unique mountain in Lech am Arlberg that offers a spectacular view over the surrounding areas of Lech, Zurs, and Zug. The challenging climb to the top requires good shoes and a head for heights, but the reward of breathtaking panoramic views on a clear day makes it worth the effort. The ascent should be done in dry weather with poles for inexperienced climbers due to its exposed nature.

It is very exposed and in places you have to go further up over small scree fields. Nestled in the picturesque Rote Wand resort at 1500 meters altitude, Rote Wand Gourmet Hotel is a chic retreat offering a range of dining experiences and luxurious amenities. Chef's Table - what a culinary surprise ! Julian Stieger is maybe one of the most talented chefs in this world (no bs) - absolute perfection oriented - presentation - taste - creativity - localization .... nice athmosphere (including the kitchen and service team harmony), nice design of "the table". And all in an approachable, friendly manner. Can hardly remember any restaurant visit which left me with such a pleasant experience. Thank you.

Been going since 2017. Awesome experience! The still rather fresh gourmet concept is now coming into a flow with the Rote Wand team. We felt very much welcome and just love the set up, quiet location, relaxed access to the ski resort. The food is just fantastic with a wish that for one or two evenings there would be a more basic menu served - smile!

We stayed at this hotel in August and booked directly through their website, providing my credit card details. As expected, 30% of the total cost was charged in advance to secure the reservation. The remaining amount was charged upon checkout. However, despite having paid the full amount, the hotel placed an additional blockage for the same amount on my credit card. It has now been over a month, and despite multiple emails and follow-ups, the blockage remains. The responses have been slow, vague, and completely unhelpful. This is unacceptable. I would never trust their payment system again, and I deeply regret using my credit card with this hotel. The lack of proper communication and resolution has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Avoid this hotel if you value transparency and professionalism

Very nicely decorated hotel and very good food and wine (everything local and very well cooked). The service was also very good and friendly. The swimming pools are quite deep so it’s difficult to play with kids and they are both rather cold. On the contrary, the bedrooms on arrival but also all the common areas of the hotel are overheated (easily 23 degrees). For a sustainable hotel where everything is sourced locally, it would be nice to think more largely about the environment. But overall good experience!

This place is dialed in to having the most relaxing, fun, and gourmet Alps experience. The location is gorgeous with easy access to skiing and to town (via shuttle). The food is wonderful, the beds so comfortable and cozy, the spa/sauna/pool clean and lovely. But the staff is exceptional. In addition to being incredibly helpful, they are polite, funny, interesting, kind, go above and beyond, and engaging. Everyone seems very happy to be there and to be part of your experience. Top notch. Top notch! Cannot wait to return.

Excellent hotel with stylish but warm atmosphere and outstanding food options. The rooms have different styles - ranging from Scandinavian bright to Alpine cozy. But always modern. The cheese fondue is the best in Lech. The three restaurant options are all top notch. The service is attentive and very friendly. The breakfast is also served (no buffet) , so you need to bring some time (45min) The absolute highlight for us were the many bread options from the in-house bakery. Heaven! The bar is well equipped and offers many cocktail discoveries. So does the wine cellar. It’s a ski-in/out hotel that connects you to the Lech skiing area. The hotel offers a full service ski rental on site. Zug village is a short walk from busy Lech, and a (free) bus connects you hassle-free all day long to Lech. We loved it and will come again.

Hotel Arlberg Lech is a luxurious ski-in/ski-out hotel with refined rooms and suites, offering an elegant spa, dining options, and two pools. An Unforgettable Family Getaway We recently returned from a truly magical family holiday at Hotel Arlberg Lech and cannot recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, our experience was absolutely flawless, and we have already decided that this gorgeous establishment will be our new family tradition for years to come. The entire team deserves a perfect five-star rating in every single category. The service and attention to detail are what truly set this hotel apart. A special mention must go to the incredible manager, Pascal. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, helping us find the ideal room for our family's needs. His genuine warmth and willingness to assist in all aspects of our stay made us feel incredibly welcome and valued. For our children, the highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the kids' club, run by the wonderful coordinator, Lilli. Her endless enthusiasm and fantastic creative fun, crafts, and games made our children's holiday so special. She has a remarkable talent for making every child feel special with her kind attention to detail, and our kids are still talking about the amazing time they had. Beyond the impeccable staff, the hotel itself is a one-of-a-kind treasure. The food was nothing short of exceptional, with every meal a culinary delight. The facilities are truly first-class, offering everything we could have possibly needed and more. We leave with incredible memories and cannot wait to come back and make more. Thank you, Hotel Arlberg, for an unforgettable family holiday!

We spent a lovely week at Hotel Arlberg this summer. It was our first time visiting Lech in the summer. The staff are attentive, warm. speak multiple languages & always willing to help. The rooms are super comfy and have a nice modern Austrian feel with natural wood and textures. The gardens, outdoor pool and indoor spa make for a lazy afternoon after a long morning hike. The wine list is exceptional with a large selection of Austrian and European options that are reasonably priced. After dinner drinks in the cosy bar was a great way to end the evening.

Rsiatat 2 — Google review
We are a well travelled couple and overall had a great stay here with a few minor issues. The pros: The staff is friendly and attentive, everyone spoke English, and they were always smiling and making jokes. The property was beautiful, with a lush and well cared for garden and a great pool with incredible views all around. The indoor bar is cozy and historic, has a great atmosphere. The spa was relaxing, clean, and fun to use, but I wish they had a cold plunge in the main part of the spa (there is only a cold plunge in the family and women’s only part of the spa). Our room was very clean, the bed is really comfortable and the bathroom was great. The bathroom was very modern with an amazing shower and good lightning. The room had a smart TV as well, which is a big plus. The cons: While the room was mostly great, our room overlooked the top of the restaurant which had a green roof with plants- it seemed that they used cow manure to fertilize the plants and the smell was so strong that we couldn’t use our balcony or open the door at night to let cool air in. This seems like a big oversight. (We did not complain or ask to change rooms, this is just something to note). The biggest con of all, and the reason for four stars instead of five, is that there is no pool service and no food at the pool. For a hotel of this caliber, I find this kind of unacceptable and this should be addressed. After long days of hiking, all we wanted to do was sit by the pool and order food and drinks- but you have to walk yourself up to the outdoor bar to order a drink and bring it back to your chair. If you want to order food, you HAVE to sit in the restaurant patio, they do not allow food dishes of any kind by the pool. This is a huge miss for me, and really tainted our experience.

I’m pretty sure this one is the 5 star hotel of choice for seekers of authenticity , history , family heritage that goes back almost 70 years , perfect location in the center of Lech right beside cable cars for ski lovers in the winter , heated outdoor pool with Jacuzzi with internal access straight inside the hotel , and a really amazing spa experience, with amazing aroma therapy sauna , steamer , and to my surprise also vertical shower that was a first to try, definitely worth it .Dealing with the staff was pleasant and professional , and had the great conversation with the owner who is hands on the property from A to Z and amazing personality . breakfast was brief yet to the point and will tingle your taste buds. Great for all seasons visit

Relaxed dining on a side terrace overlooking a garden, with a small kids play area. The relaxed vibe continues with the food, with lots of classic Austrian dishes done well. This is the sort of place you can easily come to often, and we drop by after a hike or if we’re nearby in town. Worth a reservation during peak season. For an early lunch in the summer, we’ve always found space available. Friendly service, although if you are sitting outside and no one is around, just stick your head in the door to say hi, and they’ll come right out.

What a cosy place in Lech. If you go there ask for the local beer 🍺. The different salads are amazing. Also the chees fondue 🫕 is very tasty. And donˋt forget a glass of good Schnaps afterwards. Horst from www.skiguidelech.at

Beautiful place with very friendly and attentive staff. We stayed a few days in Lech and this was one of the recommendations from our hotel. The food is very traditional and tastes great. I can recommend the Knödel a lot which I couldn’t get enough of
Hendrik — Google review
My partner and I had dinner here during our trip to Lech and unfortunately left with a very bad taste in our mouths—literally and figuratively. While the evening began on a positive note, it quickly turned unpleasant when we discovered a large piece of hair in our meat fondue just a few bites in. We calmly brought it to the attention of our server, who was kind and apologetic, and offered to replace the dish. We declined, as we had lost our appetite, and discreetly asked for the bill—expecting a respectful resolution. Instead, the situation escalated into something I still can’t quite believe. Despite barely eating the fondue, we were presented with a full bill. When I asked to have the fondue removed, two servers came to our table, one of whom pointed out that no one in the kitchen had hair, neither themselves, that matched what we found—an irrelevant and frankly defensive response. The fact remains: there was someone else’s hair in our food. It wasn’t ours, and it shouldn’t have been there. Then came the owner, who had been drinking and doing shots all night with the staff and guests. When he finally approached our table, he was completely dismissive of our concerns. Instead of handling the issue professionally, he told us flat-out that he didn’t care. He claimed we had eaten “too much” of the fondue to not pay for it (we hadn’t) and insisted we cover the full cost of the meal. He offered us a shot of schnapps as an apology—which felt more like part of his ongoing party with the staff than a sincere gesture. This isn’t how you run a professional restaurant. As a business owner in the service industry myself, I was shocked. It’s one thing to make a mistake—it’s another to be so careless with food hygiene and so rude and disrespectful when a problem is brought to your attention. The staff had clearly been drinking, and I question how that impacted both cleanliness in the kitchen and the owner’s judgment in dealing with guests. We left hungry, disrespected, and made to feel like we were the problem. Needless to say, we’ll never return. I hope this review helps others make a more informed choice. There are excellent restaurants in the area run by people who value their guests and take pride in their service. This, unfortunately, is not one of them.

Nestled in a picturesque snowy landscape, Restaurant Flexenhäusl - die außergewöhnliche Hütte offers an unforgettable dining experience that transforms into a lively party atmosphere. Guests are treated to mouthwatering fondue and generous portions of delicious dishes, all while enjoying friendly service in a cozy setting. As the evening progresses, tables are cleared away to make room for dancing as music fills the air—an unexpected twist that adds excitement to your night!
Food was amazing. All I remember was that one minute we were dining, then they started to clear the table as the music started to be turned up; and by the next minute everyone was dancing on the tables. Everything kicks off in a way that you would never imagine. It was just amazing. It's a party in the middle of nowhere, all surrounded by snow. When you arrive the least you think is that such party will break out.

For day 3, we recommend exploring the north side side of town. Start the day off with Rüfikopfbahn, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Karhorn. All together, your day would be filled with about 6 hours of non-stop fun.

A friendly operator answered a few questions about the cable car. It travels at a speed of 7.5 m/s. It has a capacity of 80+1. Seating for about 8-10 people. There are only two supports along the length, and both are boring for people who enjoy the thrill of a cable car mast with a long span, as they offer such a smooth transition. The mountain station has three steps. It's about 80 meters to the mountain restaurant. (Original) Sommerbewertung: Talstation barrierefrei geht's mit dem Lift zum Eingang. (Translated by Google) Visit to the exhibition “Fesch Fashion for the Snow” (June 26, 2021 to April 30, 2023) The ancient wooden house was impressive, only when you walk around in such a building, you can vividly imagine the humble circumstances in which people live must have lived. It's very nice that there are still things from the daily life of the former residents There are: a suit from the tailor, sewing machine, tea towels, photographs. The ski fashion exhibition is a journey back in time to the winter worlds of yesteryear, from clothing from past eras to accessories, pictures and catalogs, advertising and fabrics you can touch were surprises in every room. The stories about their things are really great and sometimes make you smile, people have said: hung on a stand, they are printed with pictures and describe memories For example, the purchase of a ski suit and what significance it had in the life of its owner. As you read it, you immediately think of your own things and how incredibly proud you were of them: your beloved red anorak with black fur edge on the hood for example... The accompanying sewing workshop was a great idea, as adults and children cut and sewed little things together and quickly got into an exchange. The team of museum ladies is very friendly and gives you a competent and informative tour of the house. The visits to the Huberhus were an enrichment for me. Skihütte Schneggarei is a stunning example of modern Alpine architecture located near the Almhof and at the base station of the lift from Lech town. The airy yet rustic design, created by Gerold and Katia Schneider, has earned accolades for its spacious benches and tables ideal for ski-boot wearing visitors. The restaurant offers a combination of traditional and modern cuisine with a focus on vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Super cool restaurant. Amazing service. And the food - the soup was worth every penny, absolutely delicious and terrific presentation, and the pizza was absolutely out of this world… and I’m from the official capital of pizza! Plus, they have chili oil and grindable bird’s eye chili on the tables, so if you like spicy, you’re in luck!

Nice restaurant with quick service and very friendly staff (like almost everywhere in Lech). Pizza is really good even it’s a bit pricey ( circa 22 eur per pizza). Interior is warm and cozy with 2 open fire places and a lot of wood. We like it.

A great mountain hutte on the slopes. Food is excellent and the pizza is maybe the best we have ever. Burata is vv good. Owned by the Schneider family of Almhof 5 star fame.
Stephen G — Google review
We had two meals here during our stay in Lech, and must say, the pizza is so tasty! The reason for rating the establishment lower is that the service was slow on both visits, it is far too warm, the tables are too close together and they serve you mandatory bread for which they charge you 4 euro per person. On our first visit, the bread was perfectly suitable and enjoyable as we were happy to pay for it (although the amount of dough meant we could not finish our pizzas). On our second visit tonight, we did not fancy the bread, and said ‘no thank you’ when offered. We were still charged for it (like we we were on some sort of tacky Spanish holiday in the 1990s…). Our waiter also got our drinks order wrong. The tables are very close to each other, which by now we do not mind so much for Covid, but for our strange neighbour table staring at us and watching us eat (like it is normal), and talking about your eating habits in Swiss German assuming you do not understand them because you speak to each other in English (like it is not rude), is off putting. Not a return unfortunately. Shame, because the pizza was soooo nice…

The highs: A very nice place, well decorated and good vibe. Good food and a very proffesional waitress. Everything is in place for a five star ranking. The low: Steep pricing. Yes, I know this is Lech and I had an ejoyable dinner. But damm they know how to charge drinks. Even the water is expensive. No escaping from it.

I didn't stay here in the hotel but I went here 4 times, as a restaurant it is exceptional. Traditional food with great service. Staff are very friendly and gave great recommendations. The place was always busy (but not too busy) with what seemed to be local customers which is a good sign. The tables are spaced apart well, it's not cramped and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Café Fritz is, without a doubt, the place where we had the best traditional food (and more!) in the entire Lech resort. The dishes are absolutely delicious, carefully prepared, and served in a warm and relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. A big highlight is Nemanja – a true professional, with an exceptional sense of hospitality and remarkable intuition when it comes to recommendations. Everything he suggested turned out to be perfect. An employee like him truly makes the difference! I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

I like real and authentic and this place screens honesty and authenticity inmits of overpriced wannabes. But I can only talk about the restaurant. Everything we had from the menu was just the way it should be, Austrian traditional cooking, as if Grandma was in the kitchen and I live that, personally. The Kaiserschmarrn was amazing and way above some others we tasted, but you need 4 people to eat it 😂
Marco W — Google review
We had dinner at the restaurant. Service was very friendly, and food was priced reasonably for Lech. It's certainly a LOT better than the overpriced and poor quality food served by arrogant staff you get in other restos in town. So this place comes recommended!
Fred D — Google review
Just had a long weekend here with a family/friends group of my brother, cousins and our sister's partners. Brilliant service at all times, room was spacious and easily fitted three. Breakfast was good spread, I do prefer fresh eggs to order but otherwise was as high a standard as you can expect at this price point. We also ate twice in the restaurant in the evening, fantastic cooking and very big portions for a good price. We also had the fondue & raclette on one evening. Thoroughly recommend pre-booking these. There is a walking route and a lift to the town centre not always apparent on google maps so the hotel is as good as on the main road and 5 mins maximum to the main ski lift up.

I am willing to say that Fritz has the best glühwein in the whole universe... Nay, the multi verse. Behold, brethren! On this most hallowed eve, thou shalt imbibe a nectar so divine, so wondrous, that even the gods themselves would weep for but a sip! Fritz’s glühwein, a potion of warmth and mirth, doth transcend the bounds of mere mortal libation, soaring beyond the firmament, past the celestial spheres, into the very heart of the multiverse itself! Raise thy goblets high, let the fragrant spices enrapture thy senses, and know this truth: no greater elixir hath e’er graced the lips of man nor beast. So drink, revel, and be merry, for tonight, thou art truly in the presence of legend!

Had a perfectly ok lunch of traditional viennese fare, but dinner here was embarrassingly bad, over cooked proteins served with unwashed vegetables. Dinner service was mediocre, but lovely front desk. The charming and historic decor almost makes up for the lack of substance. Spa and pool are beautiful.

This hotel in Lech offers a perfect blend of relaxation and genuine Austrian hospitality. My spacious double room was cozy with its charming rustic furniture. Each morning started with a delightful breakfast buffet featuring an à la carte option, and the service was exceptional. Dinner was a culinary highlight with a five-course menu offering meat, fish, or veggie options. The spa facilities, including a Finnish sauna, steam room, and serene resting area, provided a peaceful retreat, accompanied by a temperature-regulated outdoor pool. With an ideal location near the main ski lifts, attentive hosts, and joyful service staff, my stay was truly memorable.

Everything was perfect from start to finish! Even before our arrival, we asked if we could check in earlier, which was no problem at all. Mr. Herzig made sure we had a wonderful stay and welcomed us with such warmth. We were even given a complimentary upgrade, which was a lovely surprise.😊 The spa area is very well maintained, with a beautiful outdoor pool and spotless sauna. The food was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Our room was cozy and beautifully furnished, with a fireplace that made the atmosphere extra comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay in Lech and are already looking forward to coming back soon. A fantastic holiday all around!

We visited this incredibly beautiful hotel with my husband and doggie. I would like to note that our room is very cosy, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel also has very polite staff. The food was very good, we remembered the fondue for the dinner and the Panorama restaurant, and also breakfast.

Dear Post Hotel Moosbrugger family, Please allow me to thank you for your generosity and kindness, allowing me to play your daughter’s electric keyboard located in a meeting room in your lovely hotel for one to three hours a day during our stay in Lech. Visiting from America, my husband and I were hiking and e mountain biking in the Lechtal for two weeks. I appreciated having a place to practice my music. You have a gorgeous hotel in glorious Alpine country. We both love Austria. Thank you again, Victoria Manhattan America

. Always enjoy this place whether is for a coffee, lunch or evening meal. Outside is heated well and blankets are on offer if you don’t manage a spot under a heater. Lovely staff, good menu, great food. Coffee is always served with a delicious homemade truffle. Lunch generally comes with a chefs sample treat of soup of the day. We’ve eaten in tge formal restaurant and the bar. Always make a reservation. We love the bar. Staff are very well trained, 6 star customer service. Professional, friendly and accommodating. Dishes we tried on our recent visit included The beef burger. Prawn Caesar Salad, tomahawk pork. Mixed salad, the salad bar, Apricot Strudel, ice creams. Everything was delicious. Well prepared, high quality ingredients and very flavoursome. Highly recommend a visit.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of the village, Pizzeria Don Enzo is a delightful spot that promises an authentic Italian dining experience. Known for its perfectly crusty bottom pizzas and homemade pasta, this charming eatery has been a favorite among locals for over 11 years. Diners rave about the exceptional quality of food, with many claiming it to be some of the best pizza they've ever tasted, even after visiting numerous renowned Italian restaurants.
We loved the restaurant and everything we ordered. The staff was amazing and service was quick.

Had a great time at Don Enzo! Was hesitant because of other lower reviews, but was positively surprised. Service was very friendly, helpful and warm. The food was tasty and the portions were very generous - something rare these days. Would definitely recommend as a relaxed and tasty lunch option.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Reasonably priced. Stellar service. I sat in bar area. Main restaurant would have a better feel. Pizza was very good. This is not a foodie spot, but in a town that is packed with over-exaggerated gourmet restaurants, Enzo offers a breath of fresh air, and an enjoyable simple evening without being pretentious. I likely will go back again before the end of my trip.

Good surprise! We read the comments and were a bit scared … But the food was fresh simple and tasty . Service was super friendly . They accommodated all of our weird requests including cheese free pizza….. And the deserts were super yummy. Not high end but generous family Italian food and thin crust pizzas. Recommended!

I have benn to this place for over 11 years and most definitely know a lot about Pizzas because they are my favourite food. First the food is excellent and the Pizza is the best which I ate in my entire life although I have been to dozens of Italian places or award winning Restaurants. Furthermore the food in general is excellent and the staff is very friendly too. Although me and my family had various different servers we always had positive experiences. Also the athmosphere is friendly and doesn’t feel like a huge restaurant chain but more like a friendly little original restaurant. Lastly I can only tell you how good the Salami Pizza is but for you the actually experience it you will have to give it a try!

Nestled at an impressive altitude of 2,423 meters, the Trittkopf BBQ Station is a culinary gem located in the historic mountain station of the Trittkopfbahn lift. This spot offers a delightful array of top-notch meat dishes, seafood, and burgers that are sure to satisfy any appetite while you soak in breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.
As vegan travelers, we were a bit skeptical when our friends brought us to The BBQ Station, but we were in for a pleasant surprise! While the menu is, of course, meat-focused, we found a few limited but tasty options. The flavors were spot on, and it was great to see a spot like this offer something for everyone. I had the seasoned potatoe edges, corn on the cob, and side of pickles. For the BBQ lovers in our group, the pulled pork was the undisputed favorite—tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. Judging by the reactions around us, this place is delicious. The setting itself is part of the charm. Housed in a converted, retired ski chair lift station, it’s a cozy and unique spot that perfectly complements the mountain vibe with its stunning scenic views. If you are craving some hearty eats, this is a must-visit. A true hidden gem!

Cozy, and special place to eat. Lots of options to eat within BBQ. Really amazing views. I ate pulled pork burger and it was super big and good.
Elias N — Google review
Wow! I didn’t expect the burgers to be that good. It was on the more expensive side but it’s high up in the mountain and the food tasted really good! The portions are perfect if you get hungry during skiing. The interior was really cool because it was an old railway station. We really enjoyed the view out of the windows. The ads in the skiing area didn’t lead us to the wrong place!
Mercedes T — Google review
As a Texan, this hidden gem at over 2400meters is the best BBQ I've found in all of Germany and Austria, and I've hunted for years. Proper smoked pulled pork, st. louis style pork ribs with an incredible bark, divine chicken, and a brisket to die for (get there early to have the juiciest brisket). The smoke rings are fantastic, and I think cherry wood is used, but the chicken may also be perfectly brined, as it's just a hint sweet and oh so delicious. Great sides, like usual sweet potatoe fries, but don't miss the beans and caramelized onions in a light barbecue sauce (also corn cob and rice available). Speaking of barbecue sauce, what's used for the meat is a perfect mesquite, not too sweet. All in a very cozy but modern setting full of views over St. Anton and beyond, with great music, not the usual pounding Aprés Ski noise. And very reasonable prices, especially considering the location. A great surprise, and honestly as big a reason to visit Anton as the vast freeriding. Once can only hope they open another location some day so we can enjoy the best barbecue for a thousand kilometers without having to go up a 2432m, but if you do, you'll be be happy you did.
Paul L — Google review
If you are looking for a place offering choices other than schnitzel and sausages then you would totally enjoy this one (as long as you are not vegetarian 🙂). Great BBQ on top of the mountain, lots of meat choices, but also many side dishes. It is self service though 🥴
Dimitre T — Google review
An incredible place for lunch when skiing. The interior is unique, it has features from the old cable car top station. The BBQ is amazing with great sides. Be warned that it gets very busy at peak times and is hard to get a table. Also great for a hot chocolate. The views are stunning
Nick M — Google review
I can‘t really tell whether the meat is worth the money, but probably it‘s not. Careful with the fries - they‘ll most likely be cold. Nice interior! A small selection of (craft) beer, but no non-alcoholic beer that is not wheat beer.
Felix R — Google review
What a treat after a morning of off piste snowboarding or skiing. Loads of room on two floors with amazing views of the mountains, as a BBQ restaurant it's mostly meat, but Vege options are available. Try the Big Plate if you are feeling hungry which is a mix of rib, brisket, chicken and pulled pork smothered in BBQ sauce, get a side of fries and that's plenty to sort you out for the rest of the day. Magic!

Nestled in a serene mountain setting, Gasthaus Bodenalpe is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This charming restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere where guests can unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. The outdoor terrace is perfect for savoring delicious dishes like expertly grilled entrecote and mouthwatering potato soup, all while being wrapped in blankets as the evening chill sets in. The welcoming staff, including the kind owner and attentive waiters, ensure that every visit feels special.
Such a pleasant and cozy atmosphere! The service was excellent - the owner was incredibly kind, the waiter very polite, and the food was simply outstanding. I couldn't believe how delicious the meat was! Truly impressive, well done!

Ideal place to take a bite when you're in the middle of a walk or just in the neighbourhood since it's easily reachable by car. The terrasse is cosy and they even have a grill you can watch in which they cook all the meat. The menu is diverse and the food is excellent. However, we had to wait for nearly 40 minutes until our lunch was served (We only ordered soup and Käsespatzle and it wasn't very busy). The service could have been friendlier too. The meal was pretty pricy as well if you compare it to its rivals.

What an amazing place. Friendly service, the best potato soup, the fillet is amazing with all the sides and great red wine sauce 10/10

Delicious food and great service even though the restaurant was full and a bit overwhelmed. Beautiful location with amazing views!
EVIL S — Google review
A lovely little restaurant, beautifully situated among the mountains in a quiet, secluded location. Perfect if you appreciate peace and quiet and nature. We sat on the terrace, and when it got colder, the patio heater was turned on and we were offered blankets. It was very cozy and welcoming. The food was fantastic; the entrecote was lovingly prepared on the outdoor grill, and the potato soup was a delicious starter. To finish, the Coupe Danmark, with delicious warm chocolate sauce, was the icing on the cake. We would definitely return.

Restaurant
Nestled in a serene valley beneath the icy expanse of Speichersee, Kriegeralpe is a delightful mountain hut that embodies the essence of alpine charm. Managed by the Lucian family, who also oversee the esteemed Burg Vital Hotel, this cozy retreat—lovingly referred to as Little Burg—offers an elegant twist on traditional mountain living.
Great Apfelstrudel. Not too sweet. Perfectly made. Vanilla sauce is wonderfully custardy and not too watery. Coffee is a bit bitter and there aren’t any alternative milks so that much isn’t the best. Quality food. I really like that there are nice vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options as there isn’t much in the area. Service is great. I really like how the waitress manages seating and helps group people together to share tables when it’s busy

Very cosy place. The menu card for food is not huge but offers enough variety, including vegetarian options. Staff is very friendly and quick. Please visit this place whe you are around. You will not regret it.

Our favorite mountain hut in Lech in the summer & winter. Nice Austrian menu and something for everyone. The kaiserschmarren (only after 3pm in the winter) is the best in the Arlberg region. Warm & friendly service.

Excellent restaurant from past experience but a real must stop for a hot chocolate on a ski run

Very easily reachable with cable cars and therefore quite touristic, but much more authentic that some other huts around Lech. Excellent views, efficient service. Looking forward to trying a Brettljause the next time I am there!

Great place. Very recommended for its ambience. In Summer try their local dairy produce then buy, say... buttermilk from supermarket when you come down. Which one would be of your choise? Staff polite, multilingual. Unusually broad variety for high altitude food point. Prisewise I wouldn't say $$$ rather $$.

Love der Wolf! Yummy food, kind staff and a beautiful view. ☺️ Perfect place to eat lunch after skiing. Would recommend!

Good food and service. Great location and views. It is quite small but the staff will cram you in so you might have to share a table with another party. They do not have many toilet facilities so the toilet queue can be very long at lunchtime.
