Outdoor Activities
Trani Ammouda is a popular destination in Sithonia, known for its long sandy beach with umbrella rentals and relaxed beach bars. The shallow waters make it convenient for families with young kids. Visitors can stay at Pyrgos Bungalows, offering tastefully decorated bungalows with well-equipped kitchens and outdoor dining areas. The proximity to the beach makes it very convenient for families. Additionally, there are individually decorated rooms with balconies overlooking Sigiticos Gulf or the pool and garden.
Beautiful sand beach, almost 2 km long. When we started coming here, in 2018, we were surprised because there was nothing on the beach, just sand and the sea 🙂, no crowd, you had a feeling that the whole beach is yours. At the beginning of the beach, around 2-3th street there was one beach bar and La Mantri before the hill and that was all. Years later, in 2025 there are at least 8 beach bars on Trani Ammouda beach. More and more people are coming, especially during the weekend and nowadays you do not have a feeling of the "private beach". Also, one more thing for dog lovers who would like to come with their pets on the beach...you should be aware that there are dogs living on the farm on the hill above La Mantri beach bar. They are quite big, sometimes they just lay in shadow uninterested in their surroundings, but they also know to walk around the beach area in groups of 3-5. They are usually hungry, so you can bring some food to feed them. Keep your pets on a leash to make them safe and do not leave them unattended.

One of the best beaches in Sithonia. The water is not so deep so it's ok for those who can't swim. You can rent an umbrella, there is free parking near by, toilets and a restaurant. Also an aquatic park. I really enjoyed my time there. I stayed until 9-10 pm
Irina D — Google review
Excellent sandy beach. A must visit. Lots of places for free parking. Lots of beach bars. I don't know the name of the bar where we were, but for 25 euros we got a set (umbrella, 2 deckchairs, lazy bag and 2 drinks) in the summer of 2025.
Nikola V — Google review
One of the best beaches in Sithonia. Nice colour of water, large and long. I recommend having an umbrella cuase it can be very hot. There is a possibility to rent sun beds and umbrella (2+1 for a 15€ fee with 2 coffees included).
DoDo — Google review
Blue clear water, beautiful sand and two aquaparks for children and adults also. Easy to get, with a lot of parking space which is free.
Sasa D — Google review
We visited this beach 6 years ago and now in 2025 again. Huge difference. Now there are many beach bars and it was hard to find parking due to many people comming here. Beach is great and water super clean.
Predrag M — Google review
Clean, beautifully blue waters and a proper sandy beach. Very enjoyable stay, would recommend la Luna beach bar if you're looking for sunbeds, as they had top service
Sorina C — Google review
Beautiful clean waters, soft sand. A couple of bars along the beach and three inflatable water amusement parks. It was full, hard to find a parking space.

A museum with amazing displays of times in Nikiti's history. The museum is in an old school, where Christopher who is in charge studied there. He explained to us about the musical instruments and special performances.

Heritage preservation
Nikiti Old Settlement, established in the 14th century, is a picturesque village nestled in a ravine above the modern town. Its cobblestone streets and traditional architecture offer a glimpse into its rich history. Visitors can wander through quiet alleys, admire flower-filled courtyards, and relax at charming cafes. The revitalized stone houses and local establishments add to the authentic ambiance of this historic gem.
A beautiful part of the old town of Nikiti. A place with a soul and a place for peace. You also have a couple of cafes and restaurants that are tucked away in the center of the old town and the ambiance is very nice. If you are close by, be sure to visit!
Sveto R — Google review
Very nice small old settlement. Small house in traditional style, s small chapel, a graveyard. People here get very old, so the live and air must be good in Nikiti. A little further you walk up in the mountain, 1 km, you have a good view over the sea and you see mount Olympus with snow on the tops.
Rahel B — Google review
Our visit to the Old Settlement of Nikiti in Sithonia was truly magical. Walking through the narrow, cobbled streets felt like stepping into a storybook. Every corner held a piece of history, with beautifully restored stone houses and blooming flowers adding to the charm. We found a small, family-run restaurant tucked away in one of the alleys, and the warmth and hospitality we experienced there touched our hearts. There's something incredibly peaceful and soul-soothing about this place. It’s not just a destination – it’s a feeling. A hidden treasure that we’ll carry in our memories forever.
Cordula G — Google review
Nice to see once. At night, it’s poorly lit and I don’t recommend going through the smaller streets — they’re charming, with stone houses, but very steep and dark. Reaching the church is quite difficult, but it’s beautiful. The restaurants on the square are gorgeous and authentic.
Magdalena P — Google review
Best place to visit in town - nice architecture and roads. Just a walk around and enjoy. We saw 2 nice terrace to enjoy a drink/food Parking available right where the ol area starts, in North (next to the church/chapel)

Nikiti’s old settlement is a charming and historically rich area known for its traditional Macedonian architecture, cobbled streets, and tranquil atmosphere. Overview: Location: Just above the modern seaside village of Nikiti, on the slopes of a hill. Founded: The old village dates back to the 14th–15th centuries, possibly earlier. Architecture: Traditional stone-built houses with red-tiled roofs, wooden balconies, and narrow alleyways. Atmosphere: Quiet and picturesque, ideal for walking, photography, and exploring authentic Greek village life. Highlights: 1. Agios Nikitas Church: Built in the 19th century, this central church is dedicated to Saint Nikitas and is a focal point of the village. It features frescoes and beautiful interior decor. 2. Traditional Houses: Many have been lovingly restored, preserving 19th-century architectural elements. Some are converted into boutique guesthouses or tavernas. 3. Historical Charm: Nikiti’s old settlement was originally located inland to avoid pirate raids along the coast. The village was a center of olive oil production and beekeeping — still important to the local economy today. 4. Folklore and Culture: You can find old fountains, communal ovens, and local stories tied to everyday village life. Occasionally hosts cultural events in the summer, like music nights or local festivals. 5. Panoramic Views: Its elevated location offers stunning views of the Toroneos Gulf and the surrounding olive groves. Visiting Tips: Best time to visit: Late afternoon or evening for golden-hour light and a peaceful stroll. Footwear: Wear good walking shoes — streets are cobbled and sometimes steep. Good to Know: It's only a short drive (or steep walk) from the modern beachside area of Nikiti. There are no big hotels in the old village — just a few charming rentals or rooms.

Agios Nikitas is a charming Orthodox Church dating back to 1867, located on the original site of a Turkish fortress in Nikiti. The church offers historical and cultural significance, as well as stunning elevated views over the town. The old town of Nikiti itself is a beautiful Mediterranean village with recently renovated buildings and a cute bar for relaxation after a pleasant walk.

Hertz Car Rental - Chalkidiki, Nikiti

Car leasing service
If you're planning a trip to Nikiti in Chalkidiki, Hertz Car Rental is an excellent choice for your transportation needs. With rental prices starting around 20-30 per day, you can find a vehicle that suits your budget and travel plans. During my visit in mid-May, I discovered that Hertz was the go-to option for same-day rentals when other services were still gearing up for the tourist season. The convenience of having the car delivered directly to my hotel made the experience even better!
We booked a car for some days mid/end of May 2025. A hotel delivery was inclusive. Ms Vasiliki was very kind, exact on time at the hitel. Processing without problems, car as booked. Return at the hotel with key deposit at the reception. Everything worked very well and we are happy to recommend it.

(Translated by Google) We were there during the off-season (mid-May), and it wasn't easy to get a car because they weren't yet geared up for tourism. Hertz was the only way we could get a same-day rental car, or even one for the time we were there. The car was delivered to our hotel, and we picked it up again at the end. The employee, Vasilik (we hope that's the right name), was very friendly and personable. She answered all our questions and gave us good advice. We had concerns about insurance, but she was able to put our minds at ease, so the basic package was perfectly adequate. The price/performance ratio was excellent, so we highly recommend the rental company and would book with them again anytime.

The location is not easy to reach. Because it’s a bit far away from the city center. We tried their salad which I added a photo and it was the most delicious salad we have ever eaten. We tried 2 different main courses, actually both were delicious but I think goat meat was not our type.
Büşra A — Google review
We came for dinner and ordered two burgers and a pork tomahawk. The place wasn’t too crowded—there were a few free tables on the terrace and we were the only ones inside when we arrived (that changed about 15 minutes later). Unfortunately, the food wasn't as expectated. The pork tomahawk could have been great, but it was badly burned. The burgers were a disappointment too—the buns were clearly not fresh, probably at least two days old, meat also burned. Surprisingly, the salad ended up being the best part of the meal. I didn’t have time to complain or ask for replacements, but I honestly don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes, but the quality was far from what we expected.

Yes. This is how the food should look and taste in any restaurant in Greece if you pretend to be a restaurant. You can see the chefs cooking and believe me those girls know what they are doing, they are not there by chance. everything is superlative, attentive and fast waiters. We ate seafood, steak and something from the menu of the day (lamb) and all cooked perfectly, even the rice was just right.

The best culinary experience I had in Greece this year. Everything is at its best! The food is extremely good, the place is super super clean, and the atmosphere is very warm and friendly, they make you feel like you are home. This place is 11/10. I recommend it with all my heart. We had 2 appetizers: vine leaves and zucchini balls. Extra mega delicious and very light. For main course we had veal with orzo…I will let the picture “speak” for itself 🤩 You don t want to miss this place if you are around Nikiti…trust me!

Excellent food. They have a menu and the waiter suggested some food outside of the menu. Pasticcio was very good. Seafood was great. Salads were delicious.

Nice and clean place with good service. The food was fine, though portions were a bit on the smaller side. Overall, a 4-star experience, but probably not a place I’d choose to return to

Well, There s a lot to say about Domestik. Domestik is a place you feel the passion in every dish, the flavor of the local ingredients, the Greece itself. But even more you feel the hard work behind the menu, the atmosphere and the energy of the place. You can feel it and you also can see it in the kitchen. We came for the first time in the 2024 and we ate the best sea food dishes in Sithonia (sea food pasta and calamari risotto). Nevertheless, we came back this year and we felt surprised again about this special place - thank you Vergina 🤍 If you passing by Sithonia (Nikiti) you must come and eat here!

Platanos is a restaurant located in the charming old town of Nikiti, offering a modern fusion bar experience with a twist on traditional Greek dishes. While some reviews mention that the food is average and relatively expensive, others praise the delicious cuisine and friendly service. The picturesque square and cozy atmosphere compensate for any shortcomings in the menu. Visitors appreciate the quick service and well-prepared food, highlighting dishes like patata bravas and tomato courgette beignets.
A very romantic place with tasty food and super kind service! My husband and I went there for a light dinner and their starters are just great. For sure try the wild mushrooms! Also nice local beer. Atmosphere is even more that 5 stars!! Located on a cozy square under some old trees. I can imagine it secures a great shadow for lunch as well. Recommended!

Amazing restaurant with the best garden in the area! This little square is unbelievable. Very nice atmosphere. We did not have a reservation so we waited like 15 min for table for two. Good choice of craft beers and wine list. The Panazanella salad was so delicious, homemade meatballs were very nice. The ravioli was not great not terrible. Good service. Very decent prices. Must visit place!

Excellent atmosphere and food, +really nice service, seems very frequented by Greeks. Highly recommend the papardelle dish, which was eaten before getting the chance to take the picture. i expected way more from this restaurant. the food was dissapointing. the lamb chops were bad and we found a hair in them, the rest were fine. the atmosphere was nice and we were quickly served. the menu is also very limited, so it isn’t the best location for families with kids. i wouldn’t come here again
Anghel F — Google review
The place is good situated and the food is also good but I will rank it poorly because they are very selective with the clients. We called to make a reservation and they told us that we have only 1h.30 to eat and when we arrived at the restaurant they gave us a table near the kitchen with no view although the restaurant had empty tables. We refused to stay there because the place is useless without the view.

Pyrgos Bungalows

Holiday apartment
Pyrgos Bungalows in Trani Ammouda is a top pick among accommodations in Sithonia. The bungalows are tastefully decorated and equipped with well-appointed kitchens, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and lovely yards for relaxation. Families with young children appreciate the convenient proximity to the beach and the safe play area within the small complex. Guests can enjoy delicious and healthy food options while taking in the beautiful beach just steps away.
Very nice and calm area for a holyday. The place is prety comfortable and the beach is just infornt of it. There is also a bar with coffee and snacks, but it is quiet during the evenings and night, too. The beach is big and there are not so much options for a wlak, but still there are. The neasrest village has divers options for dinner and it is on walkable distance, if you like to walk as me.. A little bit far there is another.one, where you can go. It is a great location for a family holiday. For teenagers and young people there are options, but it could be a little bit challenging. The bungalows are grate.

i’ve been here for 6 years in a row and i call it my home. they also serve the best sandwich in the world. sadly they removed the old milkshakes. friendly staff, nice beach. they also have some dogs. the bungalows are nice, the only bad thing is the small double bed. still, my favorite place on earth.

Heaven on earth. Definitely a must visit. The beach is fantastic. The hosts are very kind.😇
Suncica M — Google review
Bungalows form a small complex where kids can safely play. There is a road outside which is busy at certain times, but it is mostly quite empty. There is a bar and a terrace that is interestingly decorated, but it works well and looks harmonious. Inside the bungalows are nice and spacious and most have an ac unit. The master bedroom is upstairs and I found it a little too hot for my taste, as it gets little ventilation and the AC unit blows downwards past the top floor, but my wife and kids slept there without any complaints. Second floor means bungalows have lots of vertical space, and are pleasant to spend time in. Nice spacious patio in front of the bungalows. Cleaning on schedule and efficient. The beach has plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas but they are not numbered and can be rented out by non guests, so on Saturdays and Sundays you may end up without a place if you come to the beach late and find the place packed. Bar offers delicious healthy cocktails as well as traditional ones. Bring mosquito repellent, plenty of bloodsuckers around. Owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. I wish the kitchen was more well stocked though, and our bungalow had induction plates, so beware if you are bringing your own cookware. Best food is in Ormos Panagias - 30 minutes by foot or 7 with a car, but parking may be a problem. All restaurants are good. Overall great place, enjoyed our time in the area tremendously!

Very bad experience, we went to the beach bar that belong to this establishment, in the morning around 9.30 and when we arrived more than half of the chairs were reserved and stayed empty for several hours. We were 2 families with small children we occupied 2 umbrellas, paid separately for the chairs and ordered several products including caffe, water, beers and quite expensive natural juices. Around 1 pm we decided to live to go to lunch somewhere to a normal restaurant as Pyrgos doesn't really serve food, they have one club sandwich and 2 salads, totally inappropriate for lunch with small kids. When we tried to go and leave behind some toys and towels because we wanted to come back in an hour or 2, the waiter followed us and explained that if we leave even for a little bit we had to empty the chairs bc they want to rented to other people. Just to make it clear we paid for the chairs, for the whole day and nobody told us that we have to guard the chairs or give any explanation for what we to or where we go. The waiter was a little rude and told us that he will remove our stuff if we leave. We went to talk to the owner/manager and were very shocked that he instantly started SCREAMING at us that it is his place, his rules and he kicking us out, we of course left very quickly. This never happened to me in Greece or anywhere else and it was a horrible surprise, needless to say I will never return to this bar.

Though the location is pretty ideal our bungalow was definitely not ideal. For starters the top little balcony with the double bed has a very low ceiling, making it quite claustrophobic. so we had to resort to me sleeping on the sofa and my husband on the kids bunk bed... Which obviously were tiny.. But what really affected our holiday was the terrible smell that lingered all night making it very difficult to sleep.. We complained about it but nobody did anything nor did they come to talk to us. And when we asked them for a small discount to reflect our bad experience they apologised but refused!

Present atmosphere and a friendly staff! Overall, a grate place to visit! It is true the best sun-beds are reserved for the people who stay in their Bungalows, however, it is understandable.

Day 2

Northeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Kalogria Beach, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Pets Of Thrones - Sithonia Pet Store - Veterinary House - Grooming Salon. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Kalogria Beach is a beautiful stretch of fine sand located between the villages Nikiti and Neos Marmaras. It offers clear, shallow waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Visitors can rent chairs and umbrellas to relax on the beach or enjoy refreshments at nearby beach bars and restaurants.
The best beach for families with kids around Nikiti imo. The sand is soft, the water is nice. Bad grade for the tourists around that think that the sand is their garbage bin and for the smokers that put their cigarettes in the sand

This is one of my two favorite beaches here. It’s not crowded, with only three rows of sunbeds and plenty of trees for natural shade. Sunbeds with an umbrella cost €20. There’s also a bar offering cocktails and some food. Free parking available. I totally recommend it!
Katarina M — Google review
Very beautiful beach, especially at the South end, there is a big rock and many fish near it, after the rock there are stone stairs and you can go to another tiny beach made only of rock. Great for snorkling! Free parking on the road right next to the beach.
Ekaterina A — Google review
Beautiful beach. Everything is so clean and the staff is very polite A big salute to Pavlos. Private parking aswell. The water is cristal clear and there are so many choices of sunbads (first row or the last if you like to stay in the shadow) We were amazed and rested well there. All recommandations.

This beach is absolutely amazing. The water is so crystal clear and warm. The sand is so soft to walk on even in the water. It’s so easy to swim and lots of water sports and things to hire such as paddle boards and pedal boats. You can choose to sit on the lounge chairs provided. They are dearer than other beaches but they are very comfortable and great service from the waiters. There’s opportunities to snorkel and even scuba dive. A must visit even for a day.
Angela H — Google review
Nice beach place, good food and drinks, friendly staff, you can rent canoe and boats. But it's a bit annoying that even with consumption you still have to pay for umbrella and chaise lounges.
Rayna H — Google review
In my opinion, this is one of the better and more beautiful beaches in Sithonia. The sunbeds are expensive — up to €50 — and during weekdays, the sunbeds are relatively empty. We brought our own umbrellas and set them up in the free area of the beach. The sea and its color are absolutely stunning. It gets crowded on weekends, but it's still worth a visit. My recommendation is to come as early as possible, as there’s no proper parking and you’ll have to leave your car on the dirt road. Please park considerately and leave enough space for those who are trying to leave. DESPERATELY NEEDED: trash bins and toilets on the beach itself.
Dalibor A — Google review
Great beach, but parking is a huge problem. Avoid the main parking and instead go for Isla Beach on Google maps. You will end up on the nort side of Kalogria Beach, but there’s parking spaces even at noon there. It’s also much easier to get back to the main road from there.

Agios Ioannis Beach, located in the northwestern side of Sithonia and closest to Thessaloniki, is a popular sandy stretch with gentle waves. While the former Riviera Luxury Beach Bar has been removed due to hotel construction, the beach remains unspoiled and free for everyone. Visitors can enjoy hip beach bars like Manassu Beach Bar, MOA Beachbar, Orca Bar, and more. The water is clear with a bottom covered in tiny pebbles.
A very beautiful beach with blue waters, very clean and quiet even with a lot of people around you. Warm request: take the trash with you when you leave...respect the beautiful gifts of nature!!! PS: Take the exit on the right of "Akti Kastri" one step before the hotel's entrance...take with you umbrellas, food, coffee, and water.
Ioanna S — Google review
Loved this beach. Easy access, large free parking lot. It is very large, approx 750 m long and quite wide. Crystal clear water in the most beautiful shades of blue and turquoise. Swimming, snorkeling and walking along the water there was just perfect.
Dominika N — Google review
Water is perfect but the beach is wild. There are some trees around nothing special, just a simple beach. This year because of higher prices of umbrellas and sun-beds many people prefer to use free of charge beaches, as this one. It is a pity that people do not preserve the area. We saw many cigarettes and other trash around. There is no toilette on the beach and nothing to buy around. Need to go prepared with everything you need for a stay- water, food, umbrella. Some tourists go on big loud companies and the area gets overcrowded fast, especially in high season.
Roza D — Google review
one of the best beaches i have been. positive: not very crowded (status 29 September) super clear water. small sand without rocks negative: No WC no parking space is quite small, it got full even in end of september, i think in July august would be super packed you need to go down on a bit step road to get to the beach see photos for more details
Igor — Google review
Free parking and public beach is on the right side (if you are facing the see). Sea is turquoise with sand bottom and beach is mostly sand (tiny pebbles only). There are no facilities on the public side.
Halil A — Google review
Nice and clean beach under place Nikiti. There is big parking lot so you can always find place to park your car. Clean water and pure sea. If you go ahead right you will find rock and one small island so it is also good for diving! Recommendation!

Awesome beach, free of bars and commercial bloatware. Long sand line, free and easily accessible parking. Clear water and a lot of locals.

The sea is amazing, with beautiful colors, and the beach isn’t too crowded in September. The problem is unpolite people that leave trash, plastic bottles, cigarette butts, and other waste on the beach with no respect for the environment.

Greek Orthodox church
Saint George Church is a small and beautiful 18th-century church located just outside the bustling seaside center. It stands on the site of a former Basilica destroyed by a Hun invasion. Despite its size, it holds great historical value and has been well-preserved over the years. Visitors often describe it as a picturesque and tranquil place, with an ancient olive tree adding to its charm.

Nikiti Beach is a bustling and upscale seaside destination with a marina and a popular promenade. It's an ideal spot for families or large groups looking for a vibrant beach experience. The long sandy coastline, lined with pine trees providing natural shade, is dotted with beach bars offering complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas in exchange for food and drinks. The crystal-clear shallow waters are perfect for family-friendly swimming, while activities like paddle boarding, kayaking, and beach volleyball add to the fun.
Quiet and nice...in second half of September. Very calm sea. Sandy beach with good and long not deep entrance in the water.
A D — Google review
The beach is approximately 1.7 kilometers long and features several bars and resorts, which are generally considered high-priced. There is only one shower available on the beach, and it is not publicly accessible, as it is part of a private beach and bar resort. The entrance to the sea features rocky terrain and is frequently covered with algae.
Dávid Š — Google review
A promenade..well, there isn't one...and there are no showers on the whole beach...the sea is, of course, beautiful, clean....at the entrance to the sea, there are stones for about 10 meters..but it's not terrible..the beach bars have ...compressed the sunbeds too much..so the distance between them is very small or non-existent...so much for that...
Marina R — Google review
It’s a nice and quiet place! The beach is clean and the restaurants are good. I recommend it especially for families with kids.
Jessamine M — Google review
Good beach, generally sand, there may be stones when entering the sea, there is a place for your own sunbeds, restaurants nearby (just be careful not every restaurant has good food)

Long sandy beach with Umbrellas and sunbeds. Also room to take your own. Lots of nice eating places and bars and coffee places. Good parking too. As its one of the first beaches in the second finger would definitely visit again.

Restaurant
AVRA Restaurant Beach Bar in Nikiti offers a memorable dining experience with its stunning sea views and creative menu. It is praised for its good food, great service, and beautiful terrace by the sea, making it a perfect spot to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset. The restaurant also provides sunbeds on the beach, allowing guests to have a swim and savor delicious food in a serene setting. Despite being slightly pricy, visitors appreciate the quality of food and excellent service at AVRA.
Loved the Taramasala with pita, fresh fish, pasta, saganaki schrimps. Besides all this, amazing service. The young brunette waiter we had was having a good vibe, making jokes, smiling and asking us if everything is ok. One suggestion: more seafood on the menu, more diversity (for example fried squid). Thank you for the experience!
Petite J — Google review
Really an ok-ish place to dine. The service is a bit slow even outside of rush hour. Definitely do not recommend to order cocktails here, the glasses are small are quite expensive (11 euros). As for the food, we did enjoy the fish of the day, sautéed mushrooms and fried aubergine. The gyros was not great, but the pizza was decent. This could have been a decent place to eat of not for the price. We've paid 180 euros for 6 cocktails and 6 dishes. Prices are above average here.
Ionut R — Google review
Absolutely Perfect! From the very first day of our arrival, Avra completely won us over. Even though we had rented a car and were convinced we would explore many different spots around Halkidiki, we ended up spending our entire 14-day holiday right here – and we couldn’t be happier with that choice. There aren’t too many sunbeds, which keeps the atmosphere peaceful and relaxing. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always making you feel welcome. A very special mention goes to the wonderful young woman with black hair who coordinates the sunbed reservations, takes all the orders, and somehow manages everything with warmth, patience, and genuine friendliness. The whole team is truly excellent. The food is outstanding, with a wide variety to choose from: traditional Greek dishes, burgers, pizzas, fresh fish, and seafood. Over two weeks we never once grew tired of it. The cocktails are exceptional – the best we’ve had – and the coffee, frappés, and desserts (especially the tiramisu!) are simply perfect. In short: every single member of the Avra team deserves the highest praise. You made our holiday unforgettable, and we are truly grateful.
Maja J — Google review

Giuly M — Google review
Stuff is very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. We liked that there is veggies next to the meat and not fried potatoes like everywhere else but we made a mistake eating sautéed mushrooms. That felt like it was frozen or dried before so not fresh and it caused stomach upset during the night.

Great place right on the beach. Food is very tasty with very reasonable prices and the staff is great. It is a very comfortable place to have lunch, dinner and also a drink in the evening listening to the waves and nice music. Also, there are sunbeds and arranged beach to spend your all day there.

Perasma Taverna is a charming spot that offers a serene and unhurried dining experience, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the tranquility of days gone by when people were deeply connected to nature. The menu features well-seasoned and expertly cooked meats, with the souvlaki standing out as a top recommendation. Guests can also indulge in delectable tarama salad and generously loaded Greek salad.
Authentic atmosphere, great service and absolutely delicious Greek food. The waitress told me her grandmother cooked the dishes – and you can really taste it!
Helen B — Google review
The Greek salad was one of the worst, with unripe tomatoes and very few of the ingredients that actually make it a Greek salad. The bathroom looked deplorable, they don’t serve Greek coffee, nor any kind of fish or seafood. I don’t understand why it has such a high rating. The bouyourdi was acceptable, the zucchini were okay, and the fries were actually quite good. Also it is next to a busy street with a lot of dust.

Very simple and authentic taverna, with awesome food! The Pork spit is delicious and very soft, a true pleasure to eat. The place is small and booking is recommended.
Nicolò P — Google review
Quite an authentic experience, very good portion size and good flavours. The aubergine and pepper was quite tasty. However there are some remarks I have. The fried courgette came very oily, there was a pool of oil at the bottom of the plate. The chicken was quite dry even though it had a good char. And the chicken salad was just slightly disappointing. I recommend getting the lamb chops which were nice or things on the spit. I did come here twice so that does say something, just stay away from the fried food.
Alexander L — Google review
Great service & food. Chicken was excellent, pork bites a bit too oily and dry but still very good. The place does not have a great sea view, but it is less expensive and the food is great.

Some guests complained about slippery floors but praised the staff's friendliness and helpfulness.
Very nice place, CLEAN, well maintained, close to the beach and restaurants. Hosts are super nice. Kostas responded immediately to our emails and we made reservation in no time. Cleaning lady is also super nice, rooms are cleaned every day, and we always had coffee capsules and tea in our room. The pool is very nice and clean. All in all, great experience. Recommendation!

Just a few steps away from the promenade and the restaurants but also in a very quiet street. Room was very clean, and got cleaned also every morning. Parking is not a problem as street parking is possible as well as they have their own parking area. Swimming pool İs open till 21:00 so you can cool down after a sunny beach day in one of the many beautiful beaches around Nikiti.

Spotless. The cleanest place I've booked . Very close to the sea. Very quiet(I might have been the loudest guest 😀 trying to start a live dj pool party) , you will definitely enjoy your stay here. The room had everything you need, including coffee,tea,...Have I told you that the room was very clean also ?😀

We stayed at Leon Villas in Nikiti as a family of four and rented two studios. Everything was perfect – the studios were clean, comfortable, and having a washing machine was very convenient. The swimming pool was a great bonus and perfect for relaxing. We had the pleasure of meeting Leon and his son Kostas, who were both so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for families visiting the area!

A Truly Wonderful Stay at Leon Villas in Nikiti, Sithonia, Greece Our stay at Leon Villas in Nikiti, Sithonia, Greece, was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Kostas and his father, Leonidis, whose hospitality made us feel like part of their family. Their genuine kindness and attentiveness as owners set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The location of Leon Villas is simply perfect. Nestled in the heart of Nikiti, it’s just steps away from the stunning beaches of Sithonia and close to charming local tavernas, shops, and cafes. The serene surroundings, combined with easy access to the vibrant town, made it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. The villas themselves were spotless, reflecting an impressive level of cleanliness and care. Every detail, from the pristine linens to the sparkling facilities, showed the dedication Kostas and Leonidis put into maintaining their property. It felt like a true home away from home, with modern amenities and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. What truly touched our hearts were the generous gifts from Kostas and Leonidis. Their thoughtful gestures, paired with their warm company, made our stay even more memorable. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always with a smile and a kind word. We cannot recommend Leon Villas highly enough! Thank you, Kostas and Leonidis, for your incredible hospitality, the immaculate accommodations, and the beautiful memories we’ll cherish forever. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
