Palma de Mallorca Airport

4.1

International airport
Airport
Palma de Mallorca Airport is a bustling international airport with convenient public buses connecting to Palma and local resorts within 15 minutes. As the only major city in the Balearic Islands, Palma offers more than just glitzy boutiques and tourist hotspots. The city boasts a stunning old cathedral that dates back to the 13th century, adding dignity and character to its vibrant atmosphere.
The airport is spacious and pleasantly cool, which is especially nice in hot weather. Everything is clean, with plenty of well-maintained restrooms. For travelers with gadgets, there are many convenient charging spots. The airport has a wide variety of shops offering everything from souvenirs to useful travel items. There are also many car rental companies available right on site, making it easy to rent a vehicle upon arrival. Overall, it’s comfortable, convenient, and pleasant to be here.

This is the Parma Major airport. We used it for a few hours. We ate in there. We had a layover for a few hours. As you can see, it’s very clean very nice quite large in airport I as you can see from the photos it’s got a lot of shops where you can eat areas where you can sit if you look at the photos and their descriptions, you will see that there’s a lot to do and it can pass a couple of hours while grabbing a coffee, some food there’s many places waiting grab cakes, pastries, etc. etc.
Travel L — Google review
This beautiful airport is the 3rd biggest in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona. It’s located about 9 km from Palma centre. It has got a lot of facilities like cafés, restaurants, bars and a lot of duty free shopping. One must be little careful on arrival because it has two different sections for baggages. One must see the screen and then move forward.
Balkrishna S — Google review
The restrooms could definitely be cleaned more frequently, and passengers themselves should also be more considerate and avoid leaving the toilet seats dirty. When I went to use the restroom, 2 out of 2 stalls were splashed with urine. On the positive side, in Terminal C transit area we found a smoking room, which is a good point – some European airports don’t even offer that. Overall, there are certainly better airports, but also worse ones. With the recent renovations and a bit more attention to cleanliness, it could improve a lot. For now, it’s 3 stars from me.
Máté M — Google review
Nice airport! Spend some time here waiting for a connecting flight. The airport is always very crowded but seems to be handling all the tourists extremely well. The airport is in great shape, lots of amentities and things to do including bars, shops and restaurants. A big plus is that it is very close to the beach, so tourists can almost walk to the ocean! Enjoy your stay!
Stefan L — Google review
Very clean airport but is so busy, was quick going though the passport control and your bags did not take very long to come out, there are a lot of food and gifts shops inside the airport but it is not cheap to buy food here as it a lot more then the UK prices
Bristolian O — Google review
Good airport, big. Lots of places to shop. Be warned, unlike some airports you cannot buy duty free when you arrive. Also don't bother prebooking a taxi, you will pay alot for that. There is a taxi rank outside with an orderly queue, which goes down quick and your taxi will be half the price.
Anthony M — Google review
After reading other people's reviews, I expected the worst. We arrived 3 hours earlier. The airport is large and many people, but it's easy to navigate and everything goes quickly. The staff is friendly. All check-in counters were open for Rainer's landing. Passport control was completed in 2 minutes. Lots of restaurants and shops. Large duty free.

Palma Aquarium, located near the airport and opened in 2007, boasts the largest live coral collection in Europe. The aquarium features over 700 types of creatures, including impressive sand tiger sharks in the 'Big Blue' tank with three million liters of water. With more than 55 aquariums and 8000 fish from around the world, it offers an ideal family day out.
Wow, what an amazing visit we had! I was expecting this to be a short 45-minute visit with just enough to see. It turned out to be a full experience lasting a few hours! The whole story is developing nicely, and there are plenty of species to see and learn about. I enjoyed the Jungle the most, as it was an outside adventure and looked amazing! I recommend this as a must-see in Palma!
Boris B — Google review
I recommend to get here early we were there at 09H45 and got straight in. When we left there were huge queues. It's a very good aquarium, lots to look at and do. I only rated it 4 stars as we missed the Mediterranean gardens and went straight to the jungle, the staff were ushering families that way but not us. The shark tank is good but its sad to see theese beautiful animals in captivity. All accessible for wheelchair users its a great place to visit for a few hours. I recommend going early on a rainy day to kill a few hours
Anthony M — Google review
On Monday, we visited the Palma Aquarium on the coach which is included in the price (we booked through Jet2, who are based in the hotel) and had an absolutely fantastic day! There’s so much to see and do — and we even did one of the extras: the bottom glass boat ride in the shark tank. It was €12 each and definitely worth it! I believe under 3s go free (but double check just in case). My little one had a fantastic day. It is one of the best aquariums I have been to there is so much to do for all ages! Staff were lovely and helpful throughout the day!

Beautiful Aquarium. Its nice place to spend time with family and children. Clean easy to navigate in areal. A plenty of beautiful and colorful fish and corals from different seas. Plus is as well rainforest garden and medittarean garden. There are options for snack and food in reasonable prices. Clean and tidy toilets. We booked tickets online and went around 11.00 on weekday so there wasn t mmy people . Ticket price its worth it . Thank you for nice spend day.
Dalibor D — Google review
30 Euros for adults but there are some package deals on their website that include some of the 'extras' like a shark boat or 3D cinema etc. We opted for straight entry for 3 adult tickets and received ten Euros off. It's a quality aquarium kept spotlessly clean and tidy. There are lots and lots of small to medium sized viewing tanks as you wander an obvious route. The glass magnifies them so you get to appreciate the colours and detail and they have a superb selection. Initially its very dark. So much so that you can easily bump into people but then your eyes eventually adjust. The more popular tanks have a bit of a wait to get to the front as you would expect but totally worth it. Even the souvenir shop at the end has some really good stuff!
Tommi R — Google review
Enjoyed the aquarium but it's way too expensive for the time I spent walking around everything (90 mins). No turtles on display but the two big tanks were amazing, the informative information was very good. More aimed at children in general and trying to upsell photographs, gifts from the shop which is disappointing.
Jon H — Google review
Great experience overall! The Palma Aquarium offers a wide variety of marine life and beautifully designed tanks. The big shark tank is truly impressive. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it for families and ocean lovers. Staff were friendly, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Could use more interactive exhibits, but still a great visit. I’d definitely recommend it if you're in the area.
Tom O — Google review
Very well preserved Aquarium with a lot to explore, extra activities and plenty of fun to have for the kids. Offering varied themes even a jungle and generous outside space to wonder around or to just take a break and have a bite to eat. It is a bit expensive but give the experience worth it and if you come in the afternoon you can benefit from a online ticketing discount.

Hertz

3.1
(1594)
Car rental agency
Hertz offers a wide range of luxury rental cars at PMI, making it a great choice for those with no budget constraints. For more economical options, Vanrell provides small and breezy vehicles perfect for enjoying Mallorca's beautiful views. From the Mini Cooper Cabrio to the Porsche Cayenne, renters can enjoy zipping around in style. Customers have praised Hertz for its efficient service and polite staff, with some even receiving free upgrades to higher-class vehicles.
We booked the car via DiscoverCars, we paid for Fiat Punto or similar and our flight was veeeery delayed, so we expected the worst also due to reviews. However, we managed to pick up the car and it turned out to be almost brand new Fiat Puma with automatic transmission. Staff offered the extra insurance, but when I said we already have one, they didn't push further. When returning the car, again very nice staff, checked the car within 5 minutes, told me it's perfect, deposit was returned on the same day and I was amazed how easy it went. Great experience and would do it again!

Worst rental ever! Amateur service! I've already rented cars in so many countries and companies, but this was my worst experience! Although it's a well known company (and that's why i preferred to rent with them) their service is extremely poor. First of all, i had to wait more than 30min at their desks to finally talk to someone about my reservation and get the car keys! But the worst was to return the car. There was a huge line of cars being returned but 0 organization. You had to find a free spot by yourself in the parking lot but it was a mess and there wasn't enough spots for all the cars being returned. This parking was also where people picked up their rented car, so you had to hope that someone would pick a car near you (because everyone was stuck in the traffic) so you could finally rent the car and travel. You also had to leave the car in a safe box or wait even more for an operator (it seemed that there were just 3 of them, all overwhelmed with so many customers). Another terrible thing was that after a left the car keys in the safe box, i didn't receive a email confirmation of the end of the rental (actually i never received it!) And the safe deposit of 300€ that i did to pick up the car was refunded just 3 days laters, and just 276,65€ without any explanations! It's not possible to send a message or email to Hertz to complain via their web site, since there isn't this option! I did the customer review that Hertz sent me after the rental, explaining everything and they never replied!

I rented from Hertz through Discover Cars, and they gave me a fully packaged, low-mileage, and spotlessly clean car in the same segment I rented. They told me the full insurance I purchased through the app wasn't their concern and that I could get full insurance from them if I wanted, but I declined. After all, I had already purchased full insurance through Discover Cars. If there were any issues, Discover Cars would cover the cost. My advice to anyone who purchased full insurance through the app is to avoid repurchasing full insurance at the ticket booth; it could be a waste of your money. There was a long line when I picked up the car. I waited for nearly an hour. I think online check-in should be prioritized. It would be great if they included the location of our drop-off location with a QR code when returning the car. I drove around the airport for half an hour until I found the entrance.
Burhan Ö — Google review
Very negative experience. The car was delivered with many scratches (more than 10). At pick-up, no inspection report was provided, so it was impossible to register the existing damages. Upon return, they unfairly claimed that we caused a scratch and withheld €400 without our authorization or signature. If they charge €400 for a scratch, they should at least repair the car, instead of delivering it already in poor condition. This company is absolutely untrustworthy.
Svetlana M — Google review
I was worried about the amount of horrible reviews that all rental agencies in Mallorca have but decided to give Hertz a shot since they had the vehicle class that we were looking for at a relatively competitive price. That being said, prices were considerably higher than in other places in Europe. We had a great and expedient experience from start to finish. Our flight into PMI arrived 1.5 hours late. So we were late to pick up the car. Unlike some reviews that we read, there was no issue with Hertz regarding this delayed pickup. We were greeted by a desk agent after waiting maybe 2-3 minutes. There were no pushy tactics to upsell anything. The agent asked if I would prefer to upgrade to an SUV, which I declined, and whether I would need their insurance, which I also declined as I purchased insurance for the rental seperately. (BTW if you are from Canada, I found rentalcover.com to be a great resource for purchasing rental car insurance worldwide at a fraction of the cost that rental agencies sell to us.) The Hertz agent just reconfirmed that I understand my responsibility for damage and did not push for insurance any more. Before we left the rental desk, the agent asked me to confirm if I had received the digital damage report by email, which I did, and she suggested that if I notice anything more than what has been reported, a picture of it before leaving the garage would be sufficient to remove my responsibility upon return. Again, there are a number of negative reviews about damages that we read. I recommend you do your part. Ensure you receive the digital report and be very diligent in ensuring you photograph and document anything that’s not on the report. If you are used to renting in North America, just know Europe is a different beast and are much more diligent in charging for damages. The return process was also effortless. We were attended to by the return inspection agent within 3-5 minutes of arriving at the lot. He confirmed that everything was in order and advised that we can head to the terminal without stopping at the return desk. My only negative feedback about the rental was that we found some garbage from the previous renter in the door pockets. It was a bit unpleasant as it seemed to be medical related. I would suggest more proper cleaning would have gotten Hertz PMI a 5* from us.

I will never book with Hertz again. We are waiting for more than an hour and it will another hour. Thats inacceptable. Only 3 counter are open. And the Gold counter doesn't care or help out. 20 reservations plus walk ins are waiting. Not the first time, that Hertz ist the slowest of all rentals. Even the Discount rentals have better service. Can't wait which surprise the car will bring. Good thing is I now know that I never book with Hertz again
Yal M — Google review
Andres at Hertz was amazing! He helped us out after we had a bad experience with Wiber, who didn’t show up for our reservation and then canceled when we called and asked why. Andres got us a car right away and was so friendly, professional, and understanding throughout the process. Truly saved our day!

Enio saved our trip yesterday at 22:00 when goldcar denied us service with a standing and paid reservation. He found a car, organised the contract and got us a key 10min. It’s worth paying fee euro more to avoid Goldcar and enjoy the service Hertz delivers

Avis Alquiler de Coches en el Aeropuerto de Palma De Mallorca

If you're planning a trip to Palma de Mallorca, consider Avis Alquiler de Coches en el Aeropuerto de Palma De Mallorca for your car rental needs. Many travelers have found the process to be smooth and efficient, with quick handovers and friendly service that doesn't pressure you into additional insurance. Whether you opt for an electric vehicle or a traditional one, you'll appreciate the quality of the cars available. The return process is also hassle-free, allowing you to drop off your vehicle conveniently at any time.
The woman at the counter was super friendly and explained the rental agreement very clearly. I only had to wait about 10 minutes at the office. I booked through TUI Cars, and when I returned the car, I was charged exactly what was agreed. The Seat Leon was spotless and in great condition. I would definitely rent from Avis again anytime.
Florian R — Google review
as it takes decades to get a car, many employees, no one working. the ones working take definitely too long. (i got a lot experience renting cars throughout the world) it currently is taking an hour and counting 🤯 we should have saved the money we spend with budget and get a car at a other rental company. it would have been same waiting but half price … definitely not a recommendation 😩
C M — Google review
Slow collection process even though I used Quickpass in advance. Car was quite damaged on collection (all around - just one example added to review) even though less than 7km. Nobody to confirm all satisfactory on return - just a key drop box. The price and car itself were fine and the rental process was good. Collection and drop off area easy to find and there is a Repsol petrol station on the airport to fill up when returning.

Highly recommend using Sixt instead!! Per usual a dreadful experience. Highly recommend using Sixt they have a much larger presence here. Booked through Booking.com which meant we couldn't use the avis preferred self service kiosks so had to wait 65 minutes to collect the car. This was made worse by multiple people without reservations turning up to collect keys as they had rented the car on the spot in the terminal. Actually feel sorry for the people who kept arriving, photo is of the queue at 12.20am at least an hour wait for those poor souls. Edit: It gets worse..... for damage already existing on the car at pick up they've charged us $300 EUR. Tried to have a conversation with the return staff at drop off was refused an in person inspection and told verbatim "put keys in box". Have attached the photo from the night of pick up and the claim/complaint reference (8842285B). Would appreciate some customer support, will wait to see what happens. Overall horrific experience, at this stage would be surprised the situation is resolved.

We rented a Peugeot 208 from AVIS at Mallorca Airport in August 2025. Pickup was smooth, but the return was a nightmare. Car was returned with a full tank and no new damage. At first the Staff refused to inspect the car with us, than in 30 mins we were charged €320 for a scratch that was already present at pickup — proven by our photos and video. Returned to the AVIS office, where they ignored our evidence, rejected to call a manager or make a statement, and gave us a flyer with email address and non-working phone number. Emails (es.damageservices@abg.com) were met with generic rejection messages. After realizing that the spanish AVIS office wouldn’t help and seemed intent on scamming us, we contacted both the local and European AVIS offices. They were extremely helpful, reviewed our case, and quickly confirmed, that the damage claim is closed based on the evidences. Lessons Learned: • Always take detailed photos of every scratch and dent at pickup. • Always check that all damages are properly documented in the rental contract. • At return, insist on a joint inspection and sign the return document only after that. • Check Google reviews — don’t rely solely on the rental company’s reputation. • AVIS Mallorca may try to scam you and won’t provide support or dispute resolution. Multiple cases were found in the Google comments.

We hired a EV car for 10 days to tour Majorca. First and last time we hire EV. The infrastructure in Majorca is not sufficiently available or serviceable to make this a viable option and would advise against taking out a vehicle of this type and would recommend AVIS and any other operator should remove this from their offer. The car took minimum 1.5Hrs to charge, availability of charging points minimal, those advertised either don't exist or out of order and usually there is only one point present which is often occupied by others. This led to us losing around a full day of our time on the island plus concern and anxiety of ability to recharge not only for our intended activities but to achieve the minimum charge of 70% on rental return?
Andy C — Google review
Everything went super smoothly, the pickup, the car was great, and especially the drop-off. We were approached by Mariano who checked our car, exchanged a few jokes with us and generally made the kind of stressful experience of returning a car (you never know what they'll find) a really pleasant one! So thank you Mariano!
Matej S — Google review
I reserved for one week, before hand on the app. When I got there, they took 500 euros out of my account straight away, then I rented the car they took an extra 320 euros. Then the full payment at the end of the trip was 822 euro, here is me thinking I have paid that, when I look at my account and they took that already. Which doesn’t make sense, they take money randomly at random times. So essentially I paid over 900 euros deposit. Stupid company I would never get them again. Horrible customer service too. They’re quick to take money but to give back they take weeks.

Banys Àrabs, also known as Arab Baths, is a historic site in Palma that offers a glimpse into the Islamic architecture of Majorca. Dating back to the 11th century, these baths are one of the few remaining examples of Moorish influence on the island. The construction of Banys Àrabs was a testament to Mallorca's cultural and commercial significance during that time.
Great ancient remains of a 10th-century bath house. The attraction is quite small, but enchanting. It’s accompanied by a lovely garden that has flowering plants. It will transport you to another time.

Hidden away down a quiet side street in old Palms is the Arab Baths. An interesting piece of ancient architecture with an amazing history, as well as a tranquil oasis of a garden, where you can rest quietly and relax. €3.50 to get in, so make sure you rest up amongst the lovely flowers and the lemon tree after you’ve done the tour. The information boards are pretty good too.

I agree with another comment that said this isn’t as good as some other castles but it was still pretty and interesting. The rooms had AC too which was lovely. They have descriptions of the rooms in English too. Audio tour was an extra €5 which I didn’t do and staff spoke good English. The main basilica was closing at 2pm on a Saturday but this place is opened so it was convenient too.

Great piece of history. A quiet sanctuary, garden to wander around before going into the bath areas. There is a tri-lingual video of explanation and there even toilets at the end of the route. Very reasonable admission €3.50. It opened at 10.00 on an October Sunday.

The Banys gardens were a historical breakaway from our trip to Palma. We had a lot of fun and learned about the cities history. The interior gardens were absolutely stunning. There was no way to get in and it was very cheap as well. Admission was easy. Century located to make it easier as we came and went from our hotel.

Unfortunately, I am not going to recommend this place. We were not satisfied with the food. Every time we passed by, it was full, so we thought that it would be delicious. The view itself is very beautiful, but the food was mediocre, and the service was a little bit slow. My portion was big, but the portion of the hamburger wasn't so big (and the bun was not fresh at all). Overall, I don't think we are going to come back to this place.

Excellent food, very big portions. Pleasant for day or evening as it is by the beach with sea view. Particularly good for paella (try the black one!) but the menu has a lot to offer from tapas, fish, meats, pizza, pasta, burgers, etc.

With only a few tables inside and some outdoor seating, it's an ideal spot for enjoying tapas or a full meal.
Such a great, small place on a quiet street in the old town. The owners/staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was equally great. It feels like a locals spot even though it is steps away from the Cathedral and Banys Arabs.

The best meal we had in Mallorca! The food was incredible and fresh and well-priced. Wish we could have gone back! The server was super welcoming and offered some welcome suggestions (the tomatoes - incredible!) Also loved the tortilla, the meatballs and the octopus salad.

This was a great experience!! They assisted with our order and served us a variety of a bit of everything, tapas style and everything was delicious. I've always wanted to try a restaurant that serves conservas and this was perfect. If you want a taste of Mallorca, definitely try this place out, I feel lucky to have found it

Fantastic lunch in a fantastic space. We ordered a mix of tapas and the service was so friendly. I added to the order and that was no bother at all. All of the food was fresh and delicious.

Possibly one of the best meals I’ve had in Spain. Amazingly fresh, super interesting food. Very authentic and original. Don’t miss it in amongst a huge tourist hub.

This place is AWESOME! We just had a feeling it would be good as we walked past and - my goodness - it exceeded all expectations. The food was incredible (particular shoutout for the burrata and tomato - best tomato I’ve ever tasted) and the home made vermouth was divine. Service was friendly and helpful. Probably one of the best lunches I’ve ever had.

Sa Farinera is a steakhouse in Can Pastilla, Majorca, Spain with an outdoor seating area and a garden. The restaurant offers meat such as grilled steaks, pork ribs, and lamb chops as well as vegetarian options. There is also a full bar serving wine, beer, and cocktails. Accessible by wheelchair, the restaurant also has table service for guests.
A shockingly big restaurant that still manages to feel like a family business. The huge line at the entrance melted within 10 minutes. The restaurant hat a lovely atmosphere inside as well as on the terrace. The food was just outstanding and I really recommend the Iberian pork. However, the waiters forgot 2 smaller things and never gave us updates about the progress. We had a great time but we also waited a long time for the food. That was the only downside. The appetizers kept us alive until the main course came :)

I booked this for my friends 21st. I had pre booked 4 weeks ago and stayed that it was a special occasion, asking if possible for a small piece of cake with a candle so i could sing happy birthday to her .. well we were rushed in, sat down . Told to scan QR code, no menus given even though others had menus . Very abrupt service, and felt rushed. My steak ( tenderloin) was fatty and very undercooked although I asked for medium . Taken back and cooked more apparently but seemed to come back the same . Table was cleared in silence although I tried to do the usual friendly chit chat… nothing back in return . Oh and nothing as in a cake for the 21st celebration. Seemed as though certain tables got fussed over a fair bit, we got left to our own devices . Food was average , not worth the cost, service even worse . Wish I’d picked somewhere else .

We ordered grilled vegetables and potatoes, young rabbit, entrecôte and traditional almond cake and all of which we liked very much. House wines were also good. They served bread, olives, and tomatoes as a complimentary starter. We really liked the concept of the place. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they gave us a table for two hours.

Fun no frills grilled meat restaurant that can be for the family or on a date. You can use a knife and fork or your hands up to you, no judgement here. Service is a bit chaotic but I would still highly recommend visiting.

Nice atmosphere. The location is not the best, you need a car to get there. The food is quite average. The service is quite impersonal

This restaurant has a very different vibe. Go here if you want great wine and steak at an extremely reasonable price by friendly staff. The inside is definitely not an upscale restaurant, but it is interesting with the old wood and decor. I got a 4.6 rated bottle of wine for $45 euros and the steak was phenomenal for $28 euros.

Cultural center
Fundació Joan March is a must-visit for enthusiasts of Spanish art and culture. Housed in a stunning 17th-century mansion, the foundation is dedicated to promoting arts and humanities through various activities. The museum showcases an impressive collection of Spanish avant-garde art from the early 20th century, featuring works by renowned artists like Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí, and Pablo Picasso.
a fantastic museum of contemporary Spanish art in an old city palace. A well-curated collection of many types of contemporary art: magical realism, surrealism, expressionism, materialism, conceptual art, avant-garde. There are works by all the major Spanish contemporary artists such as Dali, Miro, Rivera, Laffon, Ponç and many more. All the rooms are airy and modern and structured according to art movements. A great exhibition. Entry is free.

A beautifully renovated art gallery with a mixture of artworks. And it’s free to go in! Go with an open mind as some of the modern art is a bit silly (a wooden pallet does require a stretch of the mind), but there are some other wonderful elements such as the Dali painting. The exhibition of JOSÉ MARÍA YTURRALDE work was amazing. So well curated it would have been worth paying for.

Craving a place where art and serenity collide? Fundación Juan March in Palma is a cultural oasis that pulls you in with its sleek 17th-century mansion and world-class art collection. From Miró to Picasso, every piece sparks a story, and the tranquil courtyard feels like a hidden retreat. Did you know this museum houses one of Spain’s largest collections of 20th-century Spanish art, with over 1,500 works? It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves art with a side of Mallorca’s charm!

Impressive art gallery on 2 floors. Interesting Spanish contemporary art in a beautiful building. Free admission. A welcome retreat from the busy streets of Palma to appreciate a taste of Spanish art. Well worth an hour of your time in an otherwise busy schedule.

Beautiful little gem tucked away in the highstreet amongst the shops. I was in a rush so didn't get to take it in fully but could see myself spending over an hour here! Lots of goodies in the gifts shop too including prints of many of the artworks displayed in the exhibitions.

A pretty hidden gem that you can visit in an hour and find some very exciting pieces. The palace is beautiful, with some spectacular views from the windows on a beautiful sunny day! Maybe not the most touristy place in Palma, but it’s nice to have an alternative to the sparkling fizz of the centre!

This museum was a really pleasant surprise whilst visiting Palma. First, the building itself is beautiful. The permanent collection is really interesting, including paintings from Dali and Miro. Our highlight was the Cristina Garcia Rodero photo exhibition; what a talented photographer!

Amazing place! Very clean, quiet and well kept. Even the bathrooms were nice. I personally liked the collection, but I didn't research it beforehand so I had no expectations. There's only one painting of Miro and one of Dalí but to me it was a nice surprise. There's brochures in different languages at the entrance. Also the place was almost empty which was a nice contrast to the noisy and crowded cathedral. Plus the entrance is free. If you're in the area and have 30-45 min to kill, definitely worth a visit

Restaurant
Located in the heart of Palma's old town at Hotel Convent de la Missio, Marc Fosh Restaurant offers an affordable Michelin-starred dining experience. The restaurant, opened by award-winning British chef Marc Fosh, serves modern Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on seasonal ingredients. Guests can indulge in tasting menus and wine pairings in the sleek and contemporary setting.
We had the joy of visiting Marc Fosh yet again and enjoying the new tasting menu — as usual, it was nothing short of extraordinary. Vegetarian menu available! Each dish was beautifully composed, with a deep respect for local flavors. The progression of the menu felt thoughtful and refined, with every plate offering a new surprise. The wine pairing was exceptional! — clearly curated with care and expertise, elevating the dishes & adding an extra layer of delight to the evening. The service was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, making the whole experience feel special yet relaxed. A special thank you to Mike, who deserves a particular mention for his warmth and expertise!
Kamila ( — Google review
I'll start from the end - my experience at this restaurant was very, very disappointing. My husband and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and chose this restaurant because it looked stunning to us and I read good comments about this restaurant. In fact, we had an experience that really doesn't fit a Michelin restaurant (from experience) - the meal took 4 and a half (!!!) hours, meaning we left at 12:30 at night, even a little later. Each dish was served a really long time after the previous dish and the service was, in my opinion, quite slow. Another and most important thing - we warned in advance that we were lactose sensitive and the last dessert had lactose (!!!). The manager ran to us and apologized and asked if we were taking any lactose pills and said we didn't have any... Of course they thought about what to do and it took them a while until the bill arrived and finally we saw that they hadn't charged us for the 2 desserts in the meal. I personally think that for such a mistake by a restaurant of such a high standard, they shouldn't charge me for the entire meal. But again, that's just my opinion. In addition, they told us they would call us the next day to see if we were feeling well and to ask how we were doing - and of course they didn't call. It's disappointing that a restaurant of this level doesn't pay attention to such important points and even disrespects customers. I won't go back there.

The setting and place just breathtaking. They take you to another world as soon as you enter. The place is full of good energy and very tasteful decoration. We had some Ruinart as well as Marc Fosh’s 5 courses menu. I would say that for my part every single salty hors d’œuvre/tasting was amazing and out of this world. However, for the sweet ones, I was a bit disappointed and did not enjoy a lot this part. Fortunately my birthday cake was sincerely delicious and helped save the day! Very special mention for: the lobster, the foie gras (which was INCREDIBLE) and the pigeon which were definitely 5⭐️
Coline C — Google review
Great tasting menu with wine paring. Every dish was exceptionable and paired with a great selection of Spanish / Majorcan wines Friendly , knowledgeable staff. Marc Fosh himself takes time to greet each table as they arrive, which was a nice touch. Edited the review from 5 star to 4 star overall and for service, looked at our bill today and realised that we were charged for a glass of red wine that never arrived, at time we just assumed they forgot as it was ordered at start of meal to come with a certain dish, it wasn’t until today we realised they still charged for it. These things happen and wouldn’t put us off returning.

Platja de Can Pere Antoni is a long sandy beach located on the Bay of Palma, offering stunning views of Mallorca Cathedral. Despite its proximity to Palma, it remains relatively quiet and is easily accessible by public transport or bicycle. The beach is popular among locals and visitors alike for swimming, walking along the palm-tree-lined promenade, and soaking up the sun on its fine white sand.
Pretty nice beach just a few minutes from Palma’s city centre. It’s super convenient if you want a quick beach break without leaving the city.

I suppose this is a nice beach when you’re in Palma but in the summer months it’s too hot to sit here and you need to bring your own umbrella as there’s no sunbeds. Maybe this is a good thing but it’s impossible to sit here in the summer when the sand is 50-60C.
Noemi — Google review
Nice beach, Good Cafes around, Very Nice walk down the beach or through the walkway. Nice sandy beach, water was clear and warm in June. On the east end, You can rent sun-beds with a small safe for approximately 20 euros!
Ahmed F — Google review
Ignore the negative reviews. For a city beach this is 10/10. There are so many beautiful beaches on Majorca, I expect this is not the best one, however it is really good for a busy city beach! Sit centrally for free toilets on the beach. Easy to reach by all methods of transport. Sunbeds if you want to pay or plenty of space to bring your own things. Mostly families on a Sunday afternoon. A couple of bits of plastic rubbish - which I popped out of the ocean into the bin (all tourists and locals are capable of doing this!). Plenty of lifeguards. Plenty to watch: people, planes, boats, ships. Sea warm and choppy, but safe and easy to access. It was particularly salty, so would probably keep face out of water. Have fun!
Alison P — Google review
The beach left me with mixed feelings. It’s spacious, with a beautiful view, especially at night — the atmosphere can be stunning. However, the biggest downside is cleanliness: there’s a lot of trash, bottles, broken glass, and even dangerous items (I even came across a restaurant knife). Walking barefoot here is strongly not recommended, as it’s easy to get hurt. The place has potential, but without proper maintenance, it leaves a disappointing impression.

Restaurant
DINS Santi Taura is an upscale, adults-only restaurant in Palma that prides itself on using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and offering an extensive selection of wines. The chef, Santi Taura, brings a modern twist to traditional Balearic Island cuisine, taking guests on a culinary journey with his tasting menu.
A really nice experience. The menu included eleven courses, mostly made with local ingredients. All were tasty and thoughtfully prepared. I sat at the Chef's Table, where chef Santi Taura explained the story behind each dish and the origin of the ingredients. The visit was absolutely worth it, and the Michelin star is well deserved. The only thing I missed was having the course list available on the website in advance.
Felix W — Google review
DINS is a fine dining restaurant that pops up in every possible channel. The menu consists of classical Mallorcan origins as well completely new takes on the traditions. The 11+ course tasting menu is rather heavy, featuring (sometimes very) rich sauces. We opted for extra snail and lobster courses that unfortunately were slightly underwhelming (lobster was so salty that it overpowered the delicate flesh), although the traditional cracker toast was superb. The traditional fish pie served as the second course probably was the superstar of the menu - delicate balance of tender fish and herbs in a thin pastry crust. The premium wine pairing was one of the highlights featuring a mix of local and Spanish continental wines.
Ott K — Google review
I definitely recommend it. A very interesting and delicious way to present the local cuisine. We had the chance to sit at the chef’s table and watch the exquisite dishes being prepared. The chef himself charmed us with his personality—an artistic nature with many talents. The plates in which the food was served were also handmade by him. The only thing I didn’t like was the narrow space between the table and the wall behind me, as the waiters often passed through and kept bumping my chair. I recommend this place.

Keep it simple
For day 3, these 7 places should be enough to fill your day with something exciting to do in Can Pastilla. Start the day with Sala VIP Formentor - Aeropuerto Palma de Mallorca and make your way through the city to get to PX boats. This should take about 8 hours of your day.

Lounge
Sala VIP Formentor is a popular spot known for its stunning views from the lighthouse and the world-famous beach frequented by celebrities. The blue-flag beach offers amenities and is surrounded by a picturesque pine and oak forest, creating beautiful reflections on the Mediterranean's surface. Additionally, visitors can opt for excursions to explore other beautiful places in Mallorca such as Soller and Valldemosa.
We visited Sala VIP Formentor and were quite pleased. Food: Fresh, diverse, and tasty, with a good selection of drinks. It's nice to find something for every taste. Furniture: Although the furniture is a bit worn, it's still comfortable and didn't affect the overall experience. Crowd:It highly depends on the time of day and the number of flights. When we arrived, it was crowded, but the lounge almost emptied out as we waited for our delayed flight. This allowed us to relax peacefully. Cleanliness:Top-notch! Cleaning is constant, with disinfectants used regularly, and staff consistently maintain cleanliness throughout. Service:The receptionist was very friendly and quickly verified us, so we were able to head to the lounge without any delays. Overall, it's a comfortable and pleasant place to wait for your flight.

I have been a frequent traveler for the past 25 years and I can say this was the worst lounge experience I've ever had across the globe. It's hard to know where to start with all that was wrong with this lounge. The basement location created a bunker feeling lit by harsh white lights, the furniture is years past needing to be replaced with cracks and rips everywhere, stale and unappealing food that looked old and stale, no one cleaning old and used plates or glasses, restrooms without any paper products (toilet paper or hand drying towels), a setup in the men's room where guests have a clear view of the urinals and the men using them. The airport should be embarrassed to have this lounge as a tenant and the company who owns and operates it should be ashamed to run such a terrible facility let alone charge anyone for its use. Needless to say I do not recommend anyone waste their time or money visiting this location.
Tobias G — Google review
Not too busy when I arrived. The lounge is open and luminous. There is a good selection of food and beverages, service is attentive. Tables and seats a little bit small but ok I will repeat if I need to spent some time in the airport
Manuel V — Google review
Worst lounge experience ever. The lounge, located below the gates, lacks a pleasant view and cleanliness. The staff appear stressed and the buffet and toilets are in a terrible condition. The food at the buffet appears dried out and unhygienic, leading some guests to bring food from external establishments. There is a fire risk posed by an improperly balanced automatic sausage grill placed next to a lounge chair, resulting in splattered fat. Anyone who sits down here in their suit is in for a surprise. Some tables have not been cleared of dirty crockery for over two hours, forcing guests to stack their own. The lack of functioning coffee machines and dirty fridge handles add to the unsanitary atmosphere. The buffet lacks hand sanitiser and the toilets are broken, dirty, and lacking paper. Additionally, there is no publicly visible cleaning protocol, open toilet doors without privacy screens, and broken cubicle doors. Guests in the lounge can see the men's private parts at the urinal. I think thats enough for our one star rating.
Michael Z — Google review
The worst lounge I've ever been to. The food is partially burnt but frozen. The toaster that they had was dirty. I won't even comment on the desserts which were packaged and had jelly I felt like I was in a hospital. I mean sure it can be better than that. This photo is a Ready-made crème caramel that I found in the fridge and unmolded on my plate to eat. I never ate it disappointingly!
Γιάννης Ν — Google review
The lounge has a weird cafeteria feel to it. It is not very welcoming with the atmosphere and not very spacious. That being said, there were some decent food options for lunch which was a surprise. Not a warm atmosphere, but food was good.
Nino G — Google review
Worst food lounge When it comes to hygiene. There were fruit flies everywhere and the food was very stale. Cutlery wasn’t washed Properly and the overall hygiene was not there. I’ve been to many lounges, but this one was the worst. You would expect better from these places. Please avoid if you care about your health.
Braj — Google review
Since the owners have asked for more detail I’m editing my review to shed more light: this is the worst lounge I’ve ever visited, it’s very unclean and the food was terrible. I also was initially denied entry as I was too early for my flight, even though the lounge was half empty, anyway I’m glad I wasn’t there too long as it’s a generally unpleasant place to spend any amount of time.

Embark on an exhilarating adventure with the Buggy Tour Mallorca, where you'll traverse through picturesque landscapes and off-road paths. The tour provides thorough safety guidelines before setting off, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants. You'll navigate a mix of regular roads and rugged terrain, including an ascent to a mountain-top destination featuring a converted church turned hotel/restaurant. The knowledgeable and amiable guides add to the enjoyment by sharing interesting facts about the locations visited.
We had an incredible experience with Buggy Tours Mallorca! Last Friday, our team took part in the 3-hour tour, and it was simply fantastic. The route took us through beautiful rural landscapes and cool off-road trails, leading up to a monastery with breathtaking views over the island and the sea. The introduction and organization were highly professional, and the buggies were in top condition – driving them was an absolute blast! We would love to do this again. Big thanks to the Buggy Tours team for such an amazing adventure!

The guys running it are fab, nothing is too much trouble. Very well planned route and the buggy’s well maintained and seem pretty much indestructible! We will definitely use them again when we come to Majorca next time.

Fantastic buggy tour with breathtaking views and a magical sunset! The guide was fun, professional, and made the whole trip unforgettable. Buggies were easy to drive, and the experience was the perfect mix of adventure and scenery. 100% recommended!

Our nine year old son had the best time of his life driving his own buggy and would want to go again for sure! We recommend it to any kid who likes speed and adventure. The friendly and enthusiastic staff takes time to explain everything and gives directions if needed, safety first. It were four kids driving at the same time and they went several rounds alone or (optional) with parent. Nice location with view to the airport. It is a dream come true for any kid!
D.G. M — Google review
Radu was a great guide. He was super friendly and explained everything very well. A lot of the tour is on paved roads (some smaller some bigger) but you also drive off road, both in the beginning and on the way back (for about 30 mins in total). So if you switch drivers at the halfway point, both of you get to drive off road. It was a lot of fun, but for us it was enough to share one buggy instead of each of us renting their own.
Elisa K — Google review
We really enjoyed the program, our tour guide was very nice and funny. The drive was very exciting, the offroad part was really offroad, and not just a few rocks. 😁 We had a lot of fun, but be prepared that it is a very dirty program. After the offroad part you’re going to be full of dust, and dirt 😅 But it worth it! It is expensive, for 4 people it was 300€, but we think it worth it, if you know how much a buggy cost, and if you consider the cost of gas, then it is a reasonable price 😉 Just give it a try if you want a little extreme fun!

Super fuuuuun!!!! We celebrated my Honey’s Birthday and had a blast! Niki was our tour SUPER guide! Extremely friendly, Fun and chatty! We had a fantastic day ! Strongly recommended!
DOROTHY P — Google review
A buggy trip on a paved road is not worth ruining the life of the villages and natural reserves you go through. Buggies and quads are extremely noisy and polluting, and we need to face round after round, sometimes even every 20 minutes, going up and down small streets where people are living and a natural reserve where protected species and two religious communities are dwelling. Making money out of our suffering may be legal (for now), but it is immoral, annoying and environmentally disturbing. Neighbours have been organising against this nuisance for a while, but you can stop this nonsense and avoid our suffering by not simply not booking a trip with this company. The villagers of Randa will be eternally thankful to you. Also, for those thinking they are booking and adventure trip, they will be disappointed: Mallorca is not a wild island, it is an overpopulated territory hosting a fairly developed post-industrial economy. Your trip will mostly happen on paved roads at slow speed between clogged traffic and instructors will scold you (thank god) if you try the slightest trick at the wheel. The wilderness of Randa and Cura will be easier to experience by cycling or hiking through the many paths of the reserve. Do not hesitate to come on two (silent) wheels or by foot, you will be welcome.

Good place. And the owner is very polite and helpful. We bought a swimming mask but it had some manufacturing defect and we returned it and the owner exchanged it for an other one and everything was fine. We enjoyed snorkeling. Also he has a lot stuffs for beach to rent like umbrellas, sun loungers, chairs etc. So it need to worry about nothing when you go to the beach. So we enjoyed our vacation.

Mateo is a indeed lovely , friendly, and honest proprietor. I highly recommend his shop. The prices are reasonable and not overpriced. For example, he sells his 1 litre water for 1 euro. Where on another shop it was 2 euro, same brand of water. His souvenirs are cheaper compared to others. He also has rental chairs , umbrellas etc. So, if you're around the area, please pay a visit to his shop. Mateo, unfortunately, I did not win the lottery. If I had, I would have given you the trip to Miami / a yacht trip, and a 10,000euro gift. Anyways, for sure, I will be visiting majorca again next summer. Until we meet again.

Beach
Platja de Can Pastilla, located in a tranquil bay near Palma, is known for its expansive golden shores, making it ideal for leisurely strolls and bike rides. Despite being popular, the beach's size allows visitors to find a spot easily. Families favor this beach due to its gentle waters and ample dining options along the charming promenade. The fine sand and clear waters create a picturesque setting for an unforgettable seaside retreat.
I caught a stunning sunset while enjoying a lovely meal by the sea, with the sound of waves in the background. The vibe was so relaxing, and watching people surf added a fun touch to the evening. If you’re looking for a beautiful spot to unwind and take in the views, this beach is a must-visit!
Yuki K — Google review
Beautiful Beach in the Off-Season I visited this beach during the off-season and was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it is, despite being so close to the airport. It was wonderfully quiet, and although it was cold, the wind was not too strong. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking sunset, with the sea on the right and a promenade on the left, it was a perfect setting to enjoy the view. One important note: Monday is a rest day, so almost all the shops were closed except for two small souvenir stores. If you are hoping for restaurants or cafés, keep this in mind. The beach itself is stunning, soft, bright sand with small seashells, making it perfect for long walks along the shore. Highly recommended, especially for those looking for peace and quiet!
M J — Google review
Beatifull beach, the sand is great, water is warm and it’s also enjoyable as you have to walk a bit to reach deep water. There are alot of good restaurants nearby. Sunbed services are not great, those in charge that are unpleasant to talk to. Cheap sunbeds that you can find in valencia for under 15 euro a day, are advertised as VIP here and sold for 60eur per day (2 + umbrella), unlike the advertised sign in front of them. The guy in charge kicked a mother and her daughter because they disn’t have cash on them, while all sunbeds were completelly empty. Very rude.
Rami H — Google review
A nice clean beach close to shops, hotels and restaurants. There is parking available on the streets nearby or at the hotels. Wasn't too busy when I went (which admittedly was not in the tourist season). It can get windy but that just adds to the charm. The sunsets are absolutely exquisite.

I came to Mallorca from New York looking for a real break from the hustle—and I found it at Can Pastilla Beach thanks to the NamiBlu Beach service. Being able to order food, drinks, and even reserve a lounger right from my phone gave me the freedom to actually relax. No lines, no stress—just sea, sun, and service. It’s exactly the kind of effortless experience I needed. Highly recommend both the beach and the service if you’re craving real freedom on your holiday.
Adam W — Google review
We've had the pleasure of visiting Can Pastilla Beach in Mallorca for the second time in a row, and it's safe to say that this place has a special spot in our hearts. The beach is an absolute gem with its fine sand and crystal-clear water, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable seaside experience. What sets Can Pastilla Beach apart is not just its natural beauty but also the welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. We appreciate that, even during our second visit, the beach remained relatively uncrowded, allowing us to enjoy the sun and sea in peace. The expansive shoreline is a real plus, offering ample space for everyone. The gradual increase in water depth makes it ideal for swimmers of all levels, and the clear water adds a magical touch to the entire experience. We particularly enjoyed the mild waves, perfect for a leisurely swim or simply floating about. Mallorca's charm is undeniable, and Can Pastilla Beach encapsulates this beautifully. Whether you're a first-time visitor or, like us, returning for another round, the beach's allure remains intact. Can Pastilla Beach is more than just a destination; it's a retreat that keeps calling us back. We can't recommend it enough for those seeking a blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and the warmth of the Mediterranean.
Norbert K — Google review
Amazing beach, clear water, very gradual entry into the water too making it very safe and child friendly. Warm water. Lots of amazing bars and cafes along it. Excellent spot.
Jon C — Google review
I loved this beach. I stayed in the area near by. Yes, it is crowded. But it is expected from the vacation destination, isn’t it? There are more hidden places, but you need to go and find them. This beach is easily accessible. I would say it is rather clean, although sometimes the stuff from the sea gets on the shore (like some dead seaweed or whatever). There are plenty of option to rent an umbrella and a sun-bed. Near the beach you can find all sorts of water entertainment (SUP, sailing, diving, etc). Water itself is very clean and warm. Quite shallow, good for kids but also wouldn’t bother an adult. Along the beach there is a long promenade with plenty of restaurants to every taste.

Amazing sailing boat trip with a captain named Guillem. Beautiful boat and a very nice guy! Would recommend
Sebastiaan V — Google review
Our experience with this boat rental company was disastrous. The boat broke down after only 2 hours of sailing, ruining our outing. Despite this, the company refuses to return our €500 deposit, citing alleged damage to an electronic part that the pilot cannot even operate. Moreover, the 12-year-old boat had just come out of repairs for an engine problem, making it clear that the breakdown was related to its overall condition. I strongly advise against this company due to its lack of transparency and poor customer service.
Yacine C — Google review
Very disappointing experience with this rental company. The boat broke down after only 2 hours at sea, ruining our trip, and the deposit was unfairly withheld for a technical issue that wasn’t our fault. The boat, 12 years old and in poor condition despite recent repairs, was clearly not well-maintained. Additionally, the promised equipment, like the towable buoy, was missing, which amounts to false advertising. I demand an immediate refund of the deposit and strongly advise against using this company due to its lack of reliability and poor customer service.
Cyril F — Google review
One of my worst experience. We book a boat for the entire day but sadly the motor (who just went through maintenance), broke down and we were stuck in the middle of the sea. To keep it short, we got stuck in the middle of the sea under the sun for 2h (we were only 30mins away from the port) and the owner had to come and pull us back to the port. Afterward, the owner promised to give our security back and we told him we’re leaving in a week and it was fine for him. But suddenly on the day of our departure, he refused to give us our security deposit without any explanation, saying the repair will cost him a lot of money. Just to be transparent, the boat was at least 10years old (boat you usually rent are around 1-5 years old) and as I said before, it just came out of repair with a problem with the same motor who broke down during our outing. TL,DR: back quality boats, liars and scammers. Avoid

We requested for a 2 hrs speedboat excursion for our family of 4. It turns out that it is not possible to book seats and that you must rent the whole boat. Fair enough. On the Internet it says, and also when calling them twice, the price is 400 Euros. However, when making the final reservation, they claim the price is 700 Euros!!! Not acceptable to suddenly nearly double the price, even when their webpages claim the price is 400 Euros. Unfortunately it is not possible to book online and you need to make a phonecall to book.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. While the location looks nice and the waiters were friendly and welcoming, the food was a major letdown. I ordered the Carabela platter, which included various shellfish like mussels and clams. Sadly, the seafood was poorly cleaned and cooked. The mussels still had the seaweed attached to them — a clear sign they hadn’t been properly prepared — and everything was excessively salty. It felt rushed and careless. Even worse, I developed gastroenteritis the next day, which completely ruined part of my trip. Afterward, I read other reviews and discovered that several other tourists had the same experience. I truly regret not checking reviews beforehand. Hopefully, this one helps others avoid the same mistake. ❌ I absolutely do not recommend this place.

€20 for 7 prawns that weren’t even deveined is just wrong. 3 tables including mine where occupied when I was dining yet again the waitress was sweeping the floor and then mopping it! Not welcoming at all. And not once I was asked how my food was. When I approached her about the prawns not having been cleaned beforehand, I was told it’s part of the prawn first ( really…) and then that no chef or manager was around to discuss it… By the time I cleaned my prawns, the dish was stone cold and there was still grit in the oil which made it inedible. I genuinely don’t recommend.

I wanted to love this place, I really did. The food looked appetizing, but it was not. It was overcooked, overbreaded, and flavorless. For the varied fish fry it felt like I was eating the scraps of the kitchen. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place at its price point.

La Bella Vita is a charming Italian restaurant in Mallorca that offers a delightful dining experience. The venue is known for its superb customer service and delicious food. Guests can enjoy unique pizzas, which are not round but more like flatbreads, with excellent bases and flavors. The homemade gnocchi and pasta dishes are also highly recommended. With a nice selection of wines available, the restaurant provides an authentic Italian culinary experience.
This was our second visit, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond by preparing a special dish for us that wasn’t even on the menu, which was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great, and they also served us some fantastic shots that really added to the experience. It's rare to find a place that consistently delivers such high-quality service and food. We left feeling truly taken care of and already look forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

We were there for lunch, I had Caesar salad and my husband had a Cotoletta de la pollo a la Milanese con ensalada o patatas. The service was ok and the food arrived quickly, unfortunately, the chicken meat (Cotoletta) wasn't cooked enough in some parts. We pointed that out, and they returned the meat to be cooked, after which it was ok. The food wasn't that bad, but we got the impression that it's not the first time this has happened. Anyhow, we had a good time, but I am not sure if I would recommend this place.

This is a joke not an Italian restaurant. Attaching picture of "sea food pasta". Sea food taken aside just to show how pasta and dish itself looked like. It's a soup with overcooked pasta. Looks disgusting, tastes terrible. This place has 4.6 stars probably only because of German rentiers ordering a pizza... Can't find any other logical explanation. We also ordered fried shrimps and bruschetta. Shrimps were served in literally boiling oil pan, and bruschetta tomatoes were marinated in such amount of balsamico, that you could not taste tomatoes at all. It's not a restaurant, it's a business. Avoid.

This place was a few meters away from our hotel, so we decided to have dinner there on our first day. We had Margharita and Capriciossa pizza and a big jug of lemonade. The pizzas were tasty, good quailty dough, not really Italian style. The lemonade was good, a bit too sweet, but still refreshing. The staff was kind, always with a smile. Prices are normal. You can watch the sunset from the terrace.

Had a lovely meal here on my student group trip, owners where very welcoming and funny and it made for a lovely environment. The food was good value and very tasty with generous portion sizes. Would highly recommend this place to everyone and when I'm back in Mallorca I shall definitely come back here!

This restaurant is for me the best one in Can Pastilla ! The food is amazing, I’ve traveled a bit around in Spain and this is one of the best place for tapas with reasonable prices. Also, the service was on point thanks to the lady with explanations and recommendations (always with a smile). I’d say that if you plan on staying here in Can Pastilla this is a must :)

One of the nicest places we have ever had the fortune of stumbling across. The atmosphere was brilliant, with a lovely Spanish vibe. The people serving and cooking (the owners) were so attentive and aware of our requirements. Not to the irritating level of checking if your food was OK every few minutes. But to the level of keeping an eye out for us and o ly approaching to have a genuine co versatile and giving us answers to questions a out dishes and the local area and its natives. Overall one of the best experiences of our holiday, food was spectacular, priceswere a lot cheaper than expected and just....brilliant honestly. Cant recommend enough

How this place got 4.5 stars is beyond me. These reviews must be fake. This was the worst tapas I’ve ever tried. Tinned meatballs, frozen food put into the oven/fryer. Honestly, disgusting.
Stuart J — Google review
Lovely place to enjoy a good tapas and sangria in such an amazing atmosphere. The owner is very friendly. I live to see how he interacts if his longtime consumers that’s for sure became friends. Please, please, please try the Aioli!! Home made recipe, very light but yet full of flavour.

We went here thrice in a row during our stay in Can Pastilla. The restaurant is a hidden gem but totally worth the visit in terms of price, taste and service. The restaurant owner, the chief cook and the waiter were super lovely. It is here very light hearted - We have loved the atmosphere as it is not noisy compared to other places. Now come to the food part: it is affordable and high quality! The tapas for 2 person were delicious and satisfied. The chef recommended to try Paella and it was super yummy! We would recommend everyone to come here instead of trying the restaurants located in the beach. 10/10 stars! We would definitely come here again. Thank you so much! Best wishes from Germany. Vielen lieben Dank für das tolle Essen - für alles! :-) Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzliche Grüße aus Hamburg, Jenny & Nina

The food was simply delicious. Freshly cooked and tasted incredible. The service was outstanding and efficient. Nothing was too much to ask and both were super friendly, stopped to have a chat and made sure we had everything we needed. I cannot express how tasty and delicious the food was! Exceptional value for money given the taste of the food. We will be visiting again this holiday and recommending to family and friends 😊😊

Italian restaurant
Il gamberetto di palma is a charming Italian restaurant in Mallorca run by an Italian father and son team. Despite the slow-paced service, visitors are greeted with warmth and leave with smiles. The food, which includes delicious pasta and pizza, is served promptly and at affordable prices. Guests rave about the large portions of thoughtfully prepared dishes that are simply delicious. The unassuming appearance of the place is quickly forgotten once you experience the joyous atmosphere created by the friendly owner.
We had bruschetta with Mozzarella to start, the tomatoes were lovely! Then I had a tomato spaghetti, I am vegetarian, it sounds plain but it was so tasty! Loved it! The other person had lasagna which he really enjoyed as well. The place isn't much to look at, we also went for it opening at 1pm as I was told it is always very busy so it was just us. It seems to be Italian father and son, they didn't speak much English but we got there! Apparently it is normally very busy and only seems to be open a few hours in the afternoon and a few hours at night. 100% recommend for the quality of food! Go for it opening to make sure you get a seat as it only has about 10 tables. It was a local Spanish women who told me about it and said she loves to go with her friends. It cost €25 for 2 starters and 2 mains. We had water on us so didn't bother with drinks. The pictures don't look the best but it tasted amazing!

This was the most amazing surprise, look at it when you pass and you will think nothing of it, but this little (like 5 tables outside) one man business serves the most amazing pasta, and for very reasonable prices. Be prepared to wait for quite some time, but well worth it.
Kenn A — Google review
Best Italian food I have had in Spain. Large portions prepared thoughtfully by such a sweet chef who ran the place by himself the night we went. Took a bit of time and facility may look unassuming, but we felt so comfortable with his cooking, especially for the prices. Terrific night in Mallorca!

Day 4

Off the beaten path
For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Captain Boleor. Not quite as popular as Palma Aquarium, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 6 hours.

It was a breathtaking trip. We don’t have a boating license, but in Mallorca, you can also rent boats without one. We received fantastic and extremely friendly advice, and there was even a boat available for us on the same day. We quickly packed our things at the hotel and headed to the harbor. There, they offered us a cooler box with ice cubes for our drinks — which was absolutely great with almost 40 degrees Celsius in the sun during a 4-hour trip. Wonderful extra service!! At the harbor, we got a very competent briefing and recommendations for swimming stops. The boat was super easy to drive and there were no problems at all. The team tracked us via GPS in case we ventured into areas where we weren’t allowed to be. That’s not always easy for a beginner to recognize. Once, we were too close to the shore at Platja de Palma, we received a call from the team as well as instructions via WhatsApp on how far we needed to move away from the beach. That was really helpful because otherwise, you’d have to pay a fine — it was great to have their support. All the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and simply amazing. The price-performance ratio is outstanding. Many other providers offer trips on overcrowded boats for the same price, but being your own captain is a thousand times better :-) A truly wonderful day — we will definitely book again. Many thanks to the fantastic team!
Linda — Google review
We did the morning tour on the boat there were less people, more tranquility. The staff was very kind and helpful. It was a shame for me because I can't swim and couldn't dive into those beautiful waters, but the others in my family did. It's an experience worth having, I highly recommend it.
Tita N — Google review
The workers are so lovely and helpful. I messaged them on WhatsApp to get more information and they are attentive and give fast responses, not only that but they give you different options to pick form that they think might interest you. Booking is super easy. Prices are fair, we rented the Gaia boat which was GORGEOUS, has 2 sun beds and speaker. Getting to the place was easy and the workers are friendly and explained everything well to us and recommended us some beaches to explore. They give you a limit of where you can travel of course but I recommend to just go to Cala Maioris (which is the furthest place you can go to) and staying there, the water was crystal clear and nothing like I have seen before. This was for my friends 22nd birthday and we had an amazing time and the highlight of our holiday. I would 100% go back and rent it for 8 hours instead of 4 and recommend it to anyone!!!
Ana J — Google review
Beautiful boat, fantastic staff and amazing atmosphere 🤩 Everybody appeared to have a great time. Food was delicious and there was a variety of refreshing drinks to choose from. We felt completely safe at all times as the captain and his staff are very attentive and CCTV is in operation at the bar area on the boat also. I would highly recommend this trip.

Very impressed by this company. Communication was excellent prior to the day, the man who helped us on the day, Axel, was friendly, informative and helpful. Boat was clean and easy to drive/use. Price was in definitely one of the most competitive options in Palma. Highly recommend Captain Boleor

Hi! Just wanted to say a big thank you for the amazing experience! Everything went really well, it was such a special day on the water. It was super friendly and helpful 🙌 and the support WhatsApp was great, quick, clear, and very much appreciated Of course, it wasn’t always easy (the sea has its challenges 🌊😅), but that made it even more exciting. Would absolutely recommend it! 🙏😊 Best wishes, Roman

We did a 4-hour tour with Manolo Boat for €79 per person. It included drinks and some snacks, and overall, it was a fun experience. The only downside was that we were told burgers and sausages would be served, but there were only some small snacks.
Naghme P — Google review
The listing was exact, the communication was seamless as well as the pick up and drop off. The team gave great recommendations of swimming locations and the water did not disappoint! It was crystal clear! The boat was in perfect condition, we would 1000% rent again!! Thank you!!

Boat Charter offers top-notch service and great value for money. Customers have praised the excellent advice and high-quality boats provided by Frank and his team. The company is known for its fantastic excursions and competent, friendly staff who are always willing to help. Customers appreciate the thorough explanations given, as well as the enjoyable experience overall.
1-2 times a year we are on Mallorca and since 2018 we rent boats from Frank every single time. Just today we had a boat again. Frank is absolutely lovely, makes fair prices and offers boats in really top condition. He also gives tips where to ship and where are the best places to stay and swim. If I could I would give him 10 stars 👍 we can’t wait until next year and Holliday ❤️
André P — Google review
Frank is a nice guy and we can definitely confirm the aforementioned reviews: on the one hand he’s offering a range of good boats. On the other hand, it was supposed to rain and Frank told us, before we left the Harbour, that we could come back earlier and that he would refund the money for the time that we wouldn’t use the boat. We’ll come back. Thanks!
Ste P — Google review
I can't recommend Frank and his boats any higher. New or almost new boats. High quality and competitive prices. Real fuel charge not an hourly average that most often is on the high side. Thorough walk through in going over the boat and features. Everything was perfect. Definitely will return to rent from him next time. Thank you for making our weekend most enjoyable.

During our last day in Majorca, we decided to rent a boat but the French lady who works here was kind enough to let us know that there too much wind. For our safety, she spoke with someone on the phone and made sure it’s was safe to use jet skies before renting them ( we appreciate the wonderful customer service) and she even manage for us Taxi commute and made sure to give us nice restaurants for dinner. We are so I love with the hospitality offered in this place and we are definitely coming back to this location for other services. Thank you “french Lady” you made our last day memorable and wonderful 🙏🏼

Beach
Cala Estància is a serene beach located about 11 kilometers from the heart of Palma de Mallorca. Accessible by car, bike, or a leisurely stroll along the city promenade, this tranquil beach boasts calm waters and fine white sand. It is shielded from strong winds, making it an ideal destination year-round. The area is supervised by lifeguards and considered safe for visitors.
Very pretty! Clearer than the larger beach next to it. Nice calm waters easy to swim in, just be careful because my boyfriend stepped on a weever fish and was poisoned for like 30 min, but the lifeguards were great with helping us! Also very clear water, I saw 3 different species of fish which was fun, wasn’t even using goggles, just looking down in the water :)

Really lovely little harbour bay. Excellent for small children I would say. Nice clean toilets located on beach next to lifeguards and disabled access. Would say that this has really good access for those less mobile. The water was a bit murky and had seaweed - I think it gets trapped in the little bay and catch wash back out to see. But was still clean enough to swim. My children stayed hours in the water safely. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. Bus stop just a couple of minutes walk away - number 35 straight into Palma

Beautiful beach with amazing views at night. As it is clise to the airport keep in mind that shops and restaurants are closing quite early but the walk around is really nice and at night when it is all lit up it is incredible.

When visiting Can Pastilla, Europcar stands out as a reliable choice for car rentals. With competitive prices starting around 20 per day, you can conveniently pick up your vehicle either at the airport or in town. Many travelers have praised the friendly and professional service provided by the staff, making the rental experience smooth and enjoyable. Whether you're looking to explore scenic routes or simply need transportation during your stay, Europcar offers an efficient solution that caters to various needs.
Great rental car place. Kathy, who worked behind the desk, was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. Would highly recommend this place to rent a car from!

Good service. A little bit expensive if you are coming to the office. More chipper from website. I rented from my Hotel, and price was lower than in the website.

SCAMMERS alert 🚨 DISHONEST business 🚨 Guys, i had to block my card and order a new one because of these scammers. 3 months after returning the vehicle in perfect condition (confirmed on final receipt issued by them), they charged my card without any explanation or authorization. Also, their communication is terrible! I have never received my deposit back despite all the proves in emails that I sent. I strongly recommend avoiding this company, as they take every opportunity to take extra money. There are far more professional agencies that actually respect their customers. You have disgraced España!!
Sarita — Google review
The second rental at this location was not better than the first one some months ago. Opening hours on the internet differ from the actual opening hours, even the ones displayed at the office door are not correct! And instead of opening at 1000am, the lady running the place showed up at 1020 without any excuse to the four waiting clients. This place is badly managed, obviously not supervised and should be avoided. I will go back to Avis where I am member of the Presidents Club and get decent treatment.
Hans M — Google review
Staffs are nice but the process is too long. We waited for more than 30 mins for a rental car while looking at others completed pretty fast. One problem is the card machine only accept credit card. European debit card is not acceptable!
Mikomi C — Google review
We just arrived as they were closing at 1 pm because our flight had a delay. We kindly asked them to please give us the car but they told us we can come and get it 4 hours later or pay more.😅 as we were coming back 4 hours later the prices were higher as discussed with staff per E-Mail before our holiday. The car we received was DIRTY! everything was dusty and full of dirt, the displays and buttens were sticky and even things from the renter before us were in the car! i have sent pictures to the company and tried to reach them but never got an answer.
Sarah — Google review
Reliable company, professional staff.
Cosmin D — Google review
Would highly recommend you get your car elsewhere. I was quoted 75 euros for one day and my card was charged $123. I understand that there are some taxes and fees but that is a 43% increase. I thought they had given me two copies of the bill, one for me to keep and one to place on the dash upon return (you must park it in an adjacent street). I later realized that I only had been given only one copy which I had to leave with the car. Contacting Europcar customer service is fruitless. It’s been days and they haven’t written me back to send me a copy of the bill showing breakout of charges. It seems I’m now left with only the choice of disputing the credit card charge. While it was quick to get in and get the car, and the car was nice, this is just poor customer service in the end. Not worth the trouble and the apparent high price.

Restaurante La Payesita is a popular spot in Can Pastilla, known for its classic Spanish seafood dishes and flavorful paella. The restaurant offers a relaxed setting with a covered terrace, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal. Visitors have praised the perfectly al dente rice in the paella, which is bursting with seafood flavors and uses small gambas for an authentic taste.
This is one of the tastiest places around. It is very difficult to get a table in the evening, because there are many people who want to come here for dinner, and it is not in vain. Incredibly delicious traditional cuisine, with a homely atmosphere and the noise of families and friends around. I had dinner there several times during my vacation. Prices are above average.

Really great authentic Spanish food. The service was super efficient and attentive, the place was full but they were still coming to serve the rice from the paella pan every time you wanted more. They take the plates straight away, very good service! The paella was also very nice, probably the best thing. I wouldn't recommend the croquetas though, and the prawns were alright.

Really yum! Greaaaat service, good food, overlooking the water. What’s not to love? We spent a few hours here and we’ll come back! I think the prices are super fair! We got quite a lot of drinks and the mixed fish and shellfish platter :) it seemed like there were a lot of repeat customers, both foreigners and local. Good sign it’s a good place!!!

is usually satisfied. for 52 years we have been coming here. usually without problems with ordering outside and right by the road. barely a week before. this time. it was suddenly a problem. 4 people a portion of cod. which was good a sole fish that was so well cooked that it could be used as a shoe sole. 2 lamb shoulders one, they had forgotten to have it made so we had to wait for this one. the last one was not in order but clearly it was rushed through. the service well they started clearing the table before everyone was finished, one salad was removed despite it being pointed out that it was not finished. when it was then told to the service, the flabby answer was, you come like that too. this is the last time we will come there. imagine that the service and quality will fall like that in less than 6 months. stay away from this place. there are clearly better places, less than 100 meters from here and also up in the side streets.

Starter with bread, olives and aioli was very good. Very tasty mixed paella. Nice waiter and good service. Very cold beer. Nice location in the bay. We will be back.

We stopped by Just Enmig for a treat. The staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the pistachio ice cream didn’t quite taste like pistachio, and the coffee was so strong it could probably launch a rocket 🚀—a bit too intense for our taste. Still, the atmosphere was nice and the service made it a pleasant visit overall.

The best seafood paella in Mallorca. I keep coming back to this place, consistently the best paella in the island for years and years.

Nice view but car fumes are a bit off putting. Also do not buy the sangria. It is like week vimpto.

Münchner Kindl 1, Casabaviera is a delightful spot that captures the essence of German hospitality right in Mallorca. Visitors rave about the warm and friendly service, with waitstaff who are not only efficient but also genuinely cheerful, making everyone feel at home. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, perfect for enjoying a refreshing Kolsch or indulging in traditional dishes like Weisswurst. Many patrons appreciate the staff's ability to converse in English, easing any language barriers for international guests.
Speed and friendliness of customer service on another level, big praise. Probably the fastest waitresses on Mallorca. The restaurants in Palma's city center should watch and learn how it's done 😆

Came here with my girlfriend while we were staying in the area, we are both British but I speak a bit of German and we were treated perfectly! It is obviously a German bar and probably over 90% of the customers are German, so I don’t really understand some of the complaints being made. Anyway, had some delicious Kölsch, Weisswurst (very fun to eat all the way in Mallorca) and an Aperol spritz too. 10 out of 10! Very fast and good humoured waitresses too.

I haven't been more discriminated against in my life, went with my friend to try and have a meal in a new place, staff made no effort to welcome us as I asked for a menu from them and they told me sharply to go upstairs to make a fool out of me as there were no menus there, waitress was angry and told us to calm down whilst we simply asked for a menu. She told us to sit down first whilst laughing at us with the other staff, Ignorant and disrespectful service. Like others said in previous reviews you're not welcome here if you're not German, they were making fun of people who were not German speakers and were very rude. Wouldn't advise going to.

I gotta give this place 5 stars. The waitress was really really sweet, and smiles a lot. Loved her and the service. The beers here are cheap. Sadly i didn't get any food here, so i cant comment on that. One of the workers actually came out and talked with me for almost an hour, good conversation by the way. He was really nice, and made me feel comfortable. The waitress and the other guy both spoke English so that was great, my German is really bad. All in all, a really good and comfy experience. Thanks guys, i can definitely recommend this place. Five big stars from here.

Waiter refused to speak other languages than German to us. We managed to communicate, though. The order was wrong, but we let it pass because talking with the waiter was a pain. I claimed the dessert included in the menu, in English. The waiter seemed startled (he knew English, after all). Clearly, he did not expected we were able to infer there was a dessert included because the menu was all in German. He got mad because of this and claimed a tip at the moment the check was paid. I do not expect to coming back to this place, neither I can recommend this place to others (but German people, they should be fine, I guess). You could be mistreated. Please beware!

Very rude start to end!! I never leave bad reviews but here we are!! I was asked immediately to pay because the server was finishing her shift, which wasn't a problem!! Ordered 2 vodka and diet cokes which I clearly observed poured from a full fat bottle of coke!! Again I'm on holiday so not a problem!! The problem was 19 euros!! The bill said 2 vodka lemon, I told them we only had 2 vodka diet cokes, they said its the same thing, I paid reluctantly, this is a back street bar, you wouldn't pay these prices on the beachfront!! Avoid by all costs!!
