The staff here are so friendly and very helpful. The cafe offers a big range of food sweet and cakes. There play area is lovely and range from baby to toodler to older children.

We had a fabulous time at boomerang… I didn’t book online in advance as i wasn’t sure I was actually going to attend until the day.. (the centre prefers you to book online prior to your visit) but the lady on reception was so helpful, she even searched for my childminder discount code to ensure I got the discount. The new play arena is fantastic, I love love love the new addition of the bondi beach wooden play area in the under 5’s section that has replaced the old tired bouncy castle, I like that the younger children have a rope bridge now and can develop their climbing skills on the ladders to the top platform. The colouring station in the quiet area is great for children who need some down time of the hustle and bustle of the large play area. The only negative I have is that the toys in the baby section could do with some batteries to enhance the babies play. The addition of dingo dollars (reward points) is great, but not sure what they equate too and what you can use them for. I would recommend this place to keep the children entertained and definitely on a hot summers to keep out the heat

Great fun place to take your kids. Food is a bit pricey, but reasonable quality and good portions. To save money, take your own food, much cheaper. All in all, we had a good experience 👍

Genuinely shocked that as an adult I got charged £4.50 for the privilege to sit on a seat and watch my children. Having paid £22 for them to get in! Apparently it’s for the facilities.. well that’s a very expensive loo trip! There are no staff watching the children, so really where is the justification to charge?! As for the excuse other companies charge it.. well that’s just not true, having talked to the other parent around me they are just as disgusted. You have lost a lot of customers today. No complaints procedure offered to follow, just a reception email that might get directed to the owner! As a result, we didn’t spend our money in your cafe, won’t be having any more parties here and won’t be coming back! Bounce house part doesn’t charge. Do better for your locals! Fantastic safe soft play suitable for wide range of ages. My boys love it, burn off loads of energy. Great restaurant area with variety of foods and drinks. Car park is close to door and free

Wonderful experiences for all ages! I brought my 11month old and it was a great way for him to interact with other children his age and loads for him to do! It’s rare to find a place like this that’s so accessible!

Spent the whole day there on Friday with my grandson. He used the play area, crazy golf, lazer and trampoline - a full on day. The day was made special with the help of the duty manager Paula, a most friendly and understanding manager who went out of the way to plan our day for us. Many thanks Paula, I am sure your qualities are recognosed by your managers.

Great parking. Fantastic clubhouse, food outlets, toilet facilities. Lovely pitch. Very nice staff. Great to see so many youngsters supporting their local club so passionately. Well done to your team, who held a higher placed club to a draw in an FA Cup tie, and outplayed us for much of the time.

Great grounds and really enjoyed the game. The score screen wasn't working for a while but came up eventually. Toilets are clean and the staff are friendly. A great bar and good views if you want some cover. It's great to be able to be right next to the pitch though! Really great atmosphere. The food stalls at half time were not too bad. I think a bit more variety would be good. Security could have been a bit better on a recent post match incident but it was eventually dealt with.

Brilliant, local sports hub for the local community. Enthusiastic club members and a dynamic chairman. Looking to develope all aspects of the sport of Rugby especially for juniors, send people, people with varying abilities, superb pitches. Get your family up there playing Rugby, and you can enjoy the social too. I live in Salisbury and played Old Farts walking rugby there.

Another great visit to the club, parking good, facilities look good from the out side but no hot and cold drinks available. Ended a 1 all draw good result for out visiting team . WELL DONE TWFC GIRLS.

I went there for my first time to watch Melksham Town FC play Swindon Town FC,for their last friendly match before the start of the season.well I was quite impressed it's a very good little football ground with excellent facilities.with a nice little main stand with the bar at the top.The pitch was in really good condition and it seemed to be a nice friendly family club.Swindon Town FC one 6-0 but then they are the professional team.To sum it up it was a very good evening out.👍

Not a bad skatepark, got lots of things to try and all concrete. Really needs a half pipe though. Quite a small park, roughly 80 meters by 50 meters, devizes is definitely bigger.

Modest sized skatepark of somewhat unusual design. It's a kind of hybrid of a transition park and plaza. A jack of all trades is a master of none but when there's only one park in the town I guess it's good to have variety. My only real gripe is that the layout doesn't lend itself to being busy - there aren't really defined sections that can be ridden by different people simultaneously which is a defining feature of parks that work well when busy. The most appealing feature of the park for me is the lighting. It's really the only local ish option for an evening session in the darker months and the lighting is of high quality and stays on till late. The only really negative comment I have (hence only 4 stars) is that the park is frequented by a lot of non-users who really detract from how enjoyable a session is through their behaviour. Spitting all over the place and spilling drinks on the ramps are notable low points along with bumbling around intoxicated and generally getting in the way of actual skatepark users. The public toilets immediately adjacent to the skatepark are locked at dusk, a curious choice for the only floodlit skatepark for miles around but probably related to the behaviour of the drink spillers and floor spitters (so thanks for that). It's a real shame that the toilets aren't available as lack of facilities is a genuine barrier to participation, especially for women and girls.

Took grand children to park this morning arrived about 09:30 they gad a great time. But what appalled me was the ammount of litter that had appeared ocer night since the Saturday afternoon visit. I filled the near by bin 5 meters away while the kids di theire thing.see pics of before and after

The park is brilliant for anything but bikes, I do bmx there all the time but I think it just needs a manny pad and a bigger half pipe 👍🏻

I walked my dog along the river bank. Starting and ending at Sainsbury's. It was a beautiful day. The park is in a well kept condition and was being enjoyed by many people. We're lucky to have such spaces.

New part built for toddler & young children. Very good. Benches for mums to sign on. Gate all round. Swings of both sorts, rockers, climbing frames, and soon to open a new water park! Great fun. Free to go in, and then walk across to river & watch a pair of swans giving new babies a ride on mums back! Very nice morning.

Awful customer care at Melksham store. 1 hour delivery when it should have been 25 mins. After calling to chase (as stuck in quality control for about 20 mins!) was told on its way. When I asked for a discount, they literally laughed on the phone and said no....no explanation or apology.....Dominoes is nice Pizza, shame about the customer service at Melksham.

So disapointing. Why can none of the big chains provide the service they advertise. Ordered a Vegan pizza via the app. The app seems to seriously struggle with Vegan pizzas as it took two attempts to order the pizza I wanted Vegan peperoni with Soya strips. What I recieved was a Vegan magarita with soya strips that to be honesy does not look remotely appealing. I called to explain that my order was wrong to be told "No you ordered Vegan margarita with strips". When I tried to explain my issues with the app and that may be the cause of confusion I was interrupted and told I was wrong. I offered to return to the store with the pizza but was again interupted and told "No do not being it back I will give you a refund" before I could protest I was hung up on with no confirmation regarding refund etc. Its a shame as I said I've had pizzas from this branch before that have been great. I wanted to replace my pizza with what I ordered but was supposedly given a refund instead. Now I just need to wait and hope I actually receive one.

Love a Domino’s, prices are quite steep for delivery but utilising the deals will sort this out, I always opt for collection deals which most of the time halves the price. Never had an issue with food and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

We had such a warm, inviting, and nothing is too much trouble welcome! Superb staff! I mean superb, so helpful, friendly and confidently championing there workplace. Treacle was so kind and lovely and the guy who welcomed us, I didn’t catch his name - was amazing! They both made our lunch fun and we felt so valued and cared for! I’ve eaten in some very exclusive restaurants and the staff here are up there with the best in hospitality! The giant Yorkshire Pudding filled roast dinner is enormous! But very very delicious. Trifle cheesecake was rather tasty too!

We had booked online easily that morning. Had a warm friendly welcome and asked about any allergies while taken to our table . quick response time from server taking drinks orders and were quickly brought to the table. Server took food orders promptly and asked about any allergies. Food arrived well presented and hot , wife had asked for rare to medium steak on her mixed grill she found it to be well done and it was replaced without issue exactly how she liked it . We were served by Paula last night and didn't she do such a great job. I mean she was amazing. Very professional and kind. You can just tell that she was amazing when you meet her. The service was very fast. We didn't need to send our food back. Quality of the food was hot and delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Visited as a party of 17, booked online with no problems and confirmation of booking instantly. We offered to prebook our food but they never replied to our email. Food arrived quickly and was hot. Waitress was busy but did not have any interaction with our group. We would go back again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Water Meadow in Melksham with my wife, mother, and children, and it was truly an enjoyable experience for the whole family. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the incredibly attentive and cheerful waitstaff, who made us feel welcome and ensured that our evening was perfect in every way. The menu offered something for everyone, including a variety of delicious vegetarian options that my mother, a vegetarian, thoroughly enjoyed. She opted for The Ultimate Veggie Burger, which was a delightful combination of deep-fried sweetcorn and Croxton Manor Cheddar patty. It was topped with tangy salsa, and BBQ cauliflower wings, and smothered in a rich nacho cheese sauce. The flavours and textures were spot-on, making it a truly satisfying choice. My wife decided to try the Hunter’s Chicken, which was a beautifully roasted chicken breast topped with melted Mozzarella & Cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon, all smothered in a generous helping of BBQ sauce. The dish was served with crispy chips, a half-grilled tomato, and beer-battered onion rings, and topped with fresh rocket. She was particularly impressed by how tender and flavourful the chicken was, and the combination of the BBQ sauce with the melted cheeses were simply delicious. As for me, I indulged in the Mega Mixed Grill, and it exceeded my expectations. The dish was a carnivore’s dream, featuring two tender chicken breasts, two 4oz aged rump steaks, two 4oz gammon steaks, and four Cumberland pork sausages. Each item was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying chips, peas, tomato, and mushrooms were the perfect complement. It was a hearty and satisfying meal that I would highly recommend to anyone with a big appetite! The desserts were just as impressive, with one small exception. My son ordered the Sticky Toffee Pudding, but unfortunately, he didn’t enjoy it because it contained pieces of dates, which he wasn’t expecting. However, the waitstaff noticed this immediately and, without us even asking, kindly offered to swap it out for the Chocolate Fudge Cake. This gesture was much appreciated, and the Chocolate Fudge Cake turned out to be a big hit with him – rich, moist, and decadently chocolatey. I, myself, couldn’t resist the Salted Caramel Cookie Brownie for dessert. This decadent treat featured a rich brownie base layered with gooey chocolate ganache, topped with a soft chocolate chip cookie and drizzled with salted caramel sauce. The dessert was served with a generous helping of chocolate sauce and vanilla-flavoured ice cream, creating a perfect balance of sweet, salty, and creamy flavours. It was the ideal way to end an already wonderful meal. Overall, our experience at The Water Meadow was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere made this pub a standout choice in Melksham. We held my Dad's 70th birthday party in the function room, it was brilliant. The staff were attentive and couldn't do enough for us. Wouldn't hesitate to use again and would recommend to anyone looking for a space (with a bar) to hold any event! Brilliant.

Used the function room for a residents' meeting. Nice local venue, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, nice mix of customers. Dog friendly. Might go back to sample the food.

My only complaint was the cost of a pint of larger. Nearly £7 a pint that is a lot of money for a pint. The best part was the food as it was lush.The atmosphere of the place was great and the staff were excellent thankyou very much. I wish to stand corrected about the cost of a pint I got the wrong pub I apologise to the pilot for my mistake it was the pub next to the travelodge sorry if I've cost you any inconvenience.

I recently stayed at the White Hart with my niece during our visit to Badminton horse Trials. I can't speak highly enough of the service we received from Nicola, Tony, and Beth. We arrived Friday evening during happy hour. Despite being clearly very busy, Beth greeted us with a warm smile. The room was modern, clean and beautifully appointed, and the food was home cooked, and delicious. The pub itself is an authentic old coaching Inn with acres of charm, and a beer garden, backing onto open fields. It was our first visit to Badminton, and Beth and Nicola helped us with the best directions, local knowledge and printed our parking pass. The team at the White Hart made us feel like old friends, and when we come back to Badminton we won't be looking for anywhere else to stay.

Such a lovely pub in a cute picturesque village! The room was super spacious and really nicely decorated. I felt very welcome and well looked after! I was a single woman staying there alone for a business trip but felt very safe. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Myself and my Girlfriend stayed here 2 nights as part of our day at nearby Badminton horse trials which is around 30mins away so ideal location. Our room was very spacious with a lovely comfortable King Bed. The room was newly decorated to a high standard with plush carpets. It's well equipped with even a fridge stocked with drinks and chocolate. The room had everything you need. We ate in the pub on the first night . The food was very tasty . Generous portions too. The staff are really friendly. The rooms are entered via a rear staircase outside so you don't have to take your bags through the pub . So you can come and go as you please. Highly Recommended.

The team at The White Hart were brilliant from the moment we booked. They allowed us to check in early to get ready for a nearby wedding, easing the stress with a small baby. They even helped with taking bags upstairs. The room was large, the was bed comfy, and everything was perfectly clean. Will definitely book to stay here again when we are next in the area!

Stopped by for the Vherbal pop up. Great garlic bread and pizza. Couldn't finish my pizza so had it put in a takeaway box. Found when I checked the box almost a whole slice was missing and clearly deliberately cut. Bought and paid for food and a tip to have food literally taken off my plate. *Edit Reduced rating from 2 to 1* following snarky response from owner that unfortunately says everything you need to know about them. I have no reason to lie. I had exactly half a pizza cut into four equal slices. When it was returned to me it was 3 and a sliver. Whether it was dropped or eaten isn't really the point. I paid for the meal I should get the full meal. It's a shame because I love Vherbal and think their food is incredible but doing this sort of thing will eventually reflect badly on them.

Had a lovely stay over the weekend at The White Hart. The staff could not have done more to make sure that we felt welcomed and comfortable. The room was spotless and well decorated. We had both breakfast and dinner there and the food was lovely; very tasty and good value. I would recommend this pub/ hotel to everyone.

Went for a walk around this little park today which runs along side the river Avon in Melksham Wiltshire,it is not a very impressive place as I was expecting it to be,as of a lot of places where I’ve been to over the years,there was rubbish everywhere and dogs mess,I cannot understand the mentality of some people who are just to lazy to put it in the bin,they don’t seem to care and spoil these places for everyone,I am sure they would not like it dumped in there front garden or on their doorsteps.

They cut everything back too much, too much litter and near traffic etc. Should plant up some flowers or something if they want to be eco

The church has come alive since Rev Charlie took over. Each Sunday the church is almost full, better still 20 to 30 children come to their Sunday school.

Just had a take away from here for the first time and it was absolutely spot on!!.. I like it hot Chicken tikka Vindaloo.. it was very tasty as well as that proper heat .. so good! My wife had the bhuna and loved it. I’ve had Indian from the other one at top of town.. and forget this one is here being tucked away but will definitely be using from now on and also going for a meal there! Really tasty! Thanks! I took my daughter who is seven to the restaurant on Saturday night as she loves Indian food i have not been in since the refit the restaurant looks amazing food and service was outstanding and thankyou to shopon for esmees birthday cake we had a lovely meal and we will definitely be back again thankyou..

After a poor takeaway from another restaurant I'd used previously, I tried the Tandoori. Couldn't fault it and have since re-ordered. Recommended the Lebu - so flavoursome.

The food and drinks are nice here, however the staffing is usually awful. Not the staff themselves - they are very polite and friendly. But the lack of them. There is often a massive queue. I wanted 15 minutes in line to order a coffee and a bowl of chips. Then waited 40minutes for the chips. If it wasn't for my daughter being excited for the chips, I would have left. I don't believe this is the staff's fault, as they are always working hard and with a smile. But maybe it should be addressed, as this has been an issue for a few years now. Also, their fridges (where they keep fresh cakes) are quite often half empty, So when you fancy a coffee and cake, this isn't the place to go.

Very short staffed, so you wait ages for your order. 3 knives were dirty and this isn't the first time that's happened. I wouldn't really recommend as its fairly clear to see the staff have no pride in their job - shame really as its nicely situated.

Twice I've been late in the day and the cafe was closed due to lack of staff. Made a complaint to Sainsbury's and they just told me that, with no further follow up. Reflects what is going on with Sainsbury's generally... Understaffed and going downhill fast

The man serving was useing his hands to pick up the ice with no gloves on to make the frappé and after it was made it was all foam no drink so didn't even have it in the end. Not amazing for the inflated prices

Food is good for the price, but numerous times I have e been there I have had a monster wait, almost like they'd forgotten us.

Formerly known as The Golden Fleece the establishment is recently on the Cask Marque Ale Trail. It serves only one ale, but it is kept in excellent condition. Much refurbishment and extension, as well as a name change, has been made by the new owners who are clearly aiming more towards foodie clientele.

We wanted somewhere local to celebrate my mum’s 70th Birthday that would be big enough to take around 30 guests. Ali and the team were amazingly accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food, a selection of the finest antipasti, followed by pizzas, was fresh and delicious and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. Thank you Ali and all of your staff for helping to make it such a wonderful occasion.

Always really love atmosphere and great quality food. Pizzas are great, recommend the whitebait which are always really delicious and well prepared. Plenty of choices and flavours, really good sea food selection.

Having driven past numerous times, we decided to check this place out as a change from the usual pub food...been there twice in 2 weeks. A great restaurant, fantastic staff and the food is amazing. This is now my new go-to for eating out. Photo looks a bit tricky as I removed a person.

Our first visit here but certainly won't be our last. We stopped by on the off chance they may have a table for an early dinner with our 2 children. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and excellent service throughout. The children's options were great with pizza, pasta and even chicken nuggets and chips on the menu. All very reasonably priced. Myself and my husband both had pasta which was delicious. We look forward to coming back again soon.

Friendly local and reasonably priced, with the added bonus of a great restaurant with outside seating next to the fish pond. A lovely selection of trees including an amazing selection of Acers (maple trees) at really affordable prices. Plenty of parking available. Staff were very helpful, smiley and gave a family feel to the business.

This is for the restaurant - amazing food and cake options and such a stunning space to sit and eat. It's always very busy so worth booking if you are worried but we have always managed to get a table. Lots of free parking on site. Child friendly too!

Went for lunch & a mooch around the garden centre. Booked a table in advance ( recommend you do this through the website) walk in people were being turned away. Food was lovely with plenty of choice. All on one level so easy for wheelchairs & pushchairs. Dog friendly in the store & restaurant. Plenty of free parking.

A good garden centre with a separate farm shop. Lots of stuff for your garden and home. Gifts and homeware also. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast in the on-site restaurant. Highly recommended.

Substantial garden centre, with car park largely occupied by customers of the cafe. Good coffee and food, offset by absence of any welcome when I said I just wanted a cup of coffee. Must just have been an off day, given the number of people on site.

A great cafe. Lovely food although service can be average. Usually, you gotta book or be disappointed, there's no trying to squeeze you in 😉 As for the garden centre it's what you'd expect from a classy garden centre. Parking can be tight.

I have been coming to this garden centre for around 3 years since I moved to the area. I absolutely love the quality of everything, plants, gifts and food. I especially love the homeware section. The staff are amazing. My recent weekend visit to the butchers however was not enjoyable. The regular (older) staff member continues to be so rude and really unpleasant. I want to support local, however I dread being served by him. I understand everyone has an off day so to speak but this is more than that. This is my honest reflection that I needed to say.
