Le Conquet in 1 day

If you only have 1 day to spend in Le Conquet, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Le Conquet is a traditional fishing port on the western tip of Brittany, known for its rugged coastline, sandy beaches and clear Atlantic waters. The town’s harbor and historic streets offer a compact, walkable center with seafood restaurants and views of working boats. It’s a key departure point for ferries to the islands of Ouessant and Molène, popular for hiking, birdwatching and lighthouses. Nearby coastal paths, including stretches of the GR34 trail, provide access to dramatic cliffs, dunes and maritime scenery.
With favorites like Auberge de Keringar, Le Hangar du Pecheur, and église de la Sainte-Croix, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Sainte-Barbe Hotel & Spa Le Conquet - MGallery Collection and La Ria so you can get the best taste of Le Conquet while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

The Catholic church of Sainte-Croix in Conquet is a charming fishing port that holds historical significance. It was painstakingly constructed by the local inhabitants, who transported stones from the abbey of Saint-Mathieu to replace the small and distant chapel of Lochrist. Though the exact time period remains unknown, this church stands as a testament to the dedication and unity of the community in creating a place for worship and spiritual connection.

(Translated by Google) Picturesque location. The small harbor and the beautiful old streets surrounded by old houses invite you to linger. Countless little shops with souvenirs and one or two things to take home. However, if you get hungry at 4:00 p.m. in the afternoon, you have to wait until 7:00 p.m. All restaurants have a lunch break. The great bakeries provide comfort. Baguettes and delicious cakes are always possible. The small Fischer Chapel is a must-see. The town is definitely worth seeing. (Original) Malerisch gelegen. After being abandoned for years, the hotel has been revived and now offers modern amenities including a rooftop bar, restaurant, and spa.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. Not much to feedback on more than the early closing and very rushed one of the rooftop bar before sunset. I would have assumed this was one of the key reasons to have it there. It can close from 21:00 according to staff at their own discretion. I would say it would hopen at bad weather but we had sun. I would expect more from a hotel at this price.

This place is absolutely excellent. The staff is super friendly and helpful - for example, after staying for a week and eating in their restaurant each night, I didn't know the restaurant closes on Sundays. They predicted I wouldn't know, and set an entree, main dish, and dessert in the fridge for me and set the table too just in case. So so so kind!!
