Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
Located in the Birches Valley Forest Centre and Cannock Chase Forest, Go Ape Cannock offers an exhilarating treetop rope course adventure. The Tree Top Adventure course is designed for adults and older kids, featuring a variety of challenging obstacles such as rollers, a slack line, log balance, and rail track. With almost 1,500 meters of combined crossings set five meters above the forest floor, it's one of the longest courses in the UK.
A great day out for anyone who likes high rope courses and nature. 🌿 A full afternoon out—it took us about 3 hours from start to finish, which I felt was value for money. Staff were well trained and very helpful throughout the activity. I’d recommend to anyone looking for something to do on a sunny afternoon.

We had such a brilliant time at Go Ape! The team were absolutely fantastic with my 6-year-old daughter — patient, encouraging, and full of energy. She was a little nervous to start, but their friendly approach really put her at ease and helped her feel confident navigating the course. It was great to see a setup that feels adventurous but safe, and the staff clearly knew how to engage children at the right level. The whole experience was fun, well-organized, and empowering — Maya walked away beaming with pride and already asking when she could go again!

Had a fabulous time at Go Ape Cannock chase, Esme was our instructor, she was very professional and encouraging with excellent guidance and support on the challenging sections. I highly recommend giving this adventure a go to test you physically and mentally.

Fantastic experience taking our 8 and 11 year old on the treetop adventure plus. Staff were welcoming and friendly, thorough briefing before using the equipment, and off we went. Excellent time has by all, our lads went flying off and loved it all. Now they're asking to go again 😂👌

Great experience. Different levels for different ages. I’ve done it before, but this time was an observer, I was able to follow my group around and take some photos. The reception staff were very useful when it came to choosing the best gloves and glove size.
Jenny G — Google review
The go ape course and staff are excellent and great views around whilst doing your experience. I have done this go ape many times before. However I won't ever attend this go ape again because of how expensive the car parking is. Cost me £10.50 for 2 hrs 10 minutes parking. Its a shame as its lovely there
Stacie L — Google review
Fabulous Outdoor activity! Good for thrill seekers. Meg is our instructor and her customers service went above and beyond.Kudos to your team. x

Had a fantastic experience with my son here. The instructors /staff were excellent. James was knowledgeable and friendly, which put my son at ease. I also loved the calm and thoughtful nature of INSERT NAME HERE (The curly haired guy). Does a great job and was super friendly. A fantastic experience all around. The wait was improved by having another go on the zip, which we loved too. A huge thank you to e staff and how hard they work. Sorry about all the sweeping up of the wood chippings - ha ha. You're awesome!

Parking lot
Nestled in the heart of Cannock Chase, Birches Valley Forest Centre is a must-visit destination for families. This center offers a range of amenities including a cafe, children's play area, and picnic spots. It serves as the starting point for various hiking and cycling trails, with options to rent bikes from Swinnerton Cycles bike shop. The area boasts excellent wildlife and signposted walks suitable for different abilities, including wheelchair-friendly routes.
I love going here with my daughter. We quite often do the Gruffalo Trail, which has a couple of nice play areas along the way, followed by the large park and an ice cream afterwards. There is ample parking available, but I do feel it is a little expensive. However, that appears to be the way of the world these days, and it certainly doesn't put me off going.
Mark P — Google review
Great place with the little ones. Stick man trial and Gruffalo trial qere great
Adrian W — Google review
Parking is a bit steep £7.30 for two hours but it’s all ANPR controlled with barriers. Lots of parking and has a cafe toilets pop up coffee cabin go ape Segway lots of short and longer walks all signposted and access to the x3 mountain bike routes as well as a top notch mtb shop and bike hire. So it’s all going on here recommend an early morning visit as it can get really busy the later you leave it!
James R — Google review
possibly one of the most beautiful places ever to exist, from my experience it’s super clean no litter to be found! Respected by everyone who goes. Perfect to unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature. Definitely makes the payment to park worth it.
Prestige R — Google review
Very disappointed that it was portaloo's as the main toilets were all closed up, my husband came out of loo and said unless you are desperate I wouldn't use them. Not sitting level parents trying to negotiate inside this small cubicle with children just not practical.
Jane S — Google review
The playground next to goape Cannock is clean and comfortable. Plenty of Picnic table and bench. Toilet and cafe is just next supporting your near. It is very good to have a rest after goape challenge.
Sannie — Google review
Great Place for a family visit, can ride your bike around the dog or monkey, even a easy route around for the whole family any skill level. Also a bike shop for spares and hire I think. Nice little cafe for after your ride. Also go ape is here which is a fun couple of hours if you like heights.
Richard J — Google review
Excellent wildlife area in the heart of Cannock Chase. Nice signposted walks of multiple distances, including a shorter route that is wheelchair suitable. Excellent family and 'proper' mountain bike trails for all abilities. Children's adventure play area, junior and adult Go Ape tree climbing and a decent café. On site bike shop. Only quibble is parking is a bit expensive, but a Discovery pass for frequent visitors £40) gives free parking for a year. Very good at Christmas with tree sales and Santa and food huts. Recommended.

The visitor centre at Cannock Chase Forest offers bike trails, woodland trails, and a treetop rope course. However, some visitors were disappointed to find that the adventure playground area was closed off without any reduction in car parking fees. On a positive note, shelters were built for children to play in and there was still a functional play area by the Gruffalo.
Great place for a fun day out with the family, young and old. We had a birthday picnic. No trouble finding a picnic table. Toilets clean and places for children to play and ride bikes. Go Ape also on sight.

As a tourist visiting the area, I was absolutely blown away by Cannock Chase Forest. The scenery is stunning , peaceful woodlands, open clearings, and some truly beautiful views. It felt like a perfect escape into nature. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it quickly became one of the highlights of my trip. The trails are well, marked and easy to follow, and there’s such a calming atmosphere throughout. Whether you’re into hiking or just want to enjoy a quiet walk, this place is a must visit. I’d definitely come back again!

A lovely wood to visit. A really nice walk through the trees to the pools with dragonflies and swallows darting over them. Lots of wildflowers and butterflies. A nice cafe with VERY good ice-cream. Well worth a visit and highly recommend.

Plenty of parking offering great facilities and plenty of activities on offer. Parking is outrageously expensive though. Gruffalo trail and bike tracks, pedal and play are great for little kids. Easy access to other main biking trails as well.

Rugeley Leisure Centre offers a range of sporting facilities, including a swimming pool, astroturf pitch, squash courts, gym, and aerobics sessions. The staff are friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the gym. The pool area is particularly suitable for individuals looking to learn how to swim or teach their children. However, some users have noted that the weights section in the gym lacks variety compared to other machines available elsewhere.
Been a member of the gym here for the past 3 months. Love it. Friendly staff. Gym is always clean and tidy and always manage to get a parking spot
Ian L — Google review
Visit on a Thursday for the disability swim session. Staff are always excellent, friendly & helpful & engage with the kids. Disabled change could be better (no hoist or large changing bed) but having done several other local centres we prefer this one mainly due to the attitude & engagement from the staff, from reception to the lifeguards.
Adrian C — Google review
First visit to the leisure centre to take my granddaughter swimming and was pleasantly surprised. It is tucked away in a housing estate, so you need to be careful entering and exiting, but plenty of car parking. Outside playing area for kids and is clean and tidy.
Jackie E — Google review
Staff are friendly and welcoming. Gym has limited choice and at peak times you are waiting for children to finish using the equipment. This gym attracts a lot of young lads. The gym is OK for general fitness but lacks options for the more serious trainers. Might be better off at Pure Gym (at half the cost) or Anytime Fitness at the same price, and is 24 hours, whereas RLC isn't open bank holidays or early mornings
Christian — Google review
Ok... It's a nice enough place but it's a nightmare in the changing rooms cos people block them by leaving their stuff in there. Sometimes there's a horrible smell in the changing rooms and the coffee machine is always out of order. Parking is good tho and the staff are nice.
Ray S — Google review
Live the pool, great gym. Really good value
Anna H — Google review
Good leisure centre with swimming pool, squash courts, gym, hall, out door 5g football pitch, park and smaller rooms to rent out for classes. This is not a private own leisure centre and is run by the council so do expect it to be a high tech gym. But it is good value for money and it's not that pricey for classes etc. Downside is it could do with a revamp as it looks a bit worn and tired in places. On a positive the swim classes for kids are very good and they have some great instructors.

The Jolly Fryer Rugeley is a popular spot known for its delicious chip buns and generous portions of chips. The friendly service and quick delivery of hot, tasty food make it a standout choice. Visitors appreciate the option to customize their orders, such as choosing whether or not to have spread on their bun. The mixed chicken meat and chips are particularly recommended, with many praising the quality of the chicken tikka meat.
I’ve used this venue for many years, and always had great service from Mom, Dad and now Andrew and all his Staff. They are all very welcoming and friendly. The quality of the food is only ever top quality.

Very friendly staff, ordered large cod, portion of chips curry sauce small sausage. The fish portion was in my opinion small with curled up edges, and dark slightly hard batter. The actual fish was nice. I’ve had larger and better mini fish from other places. Chips and sausage were good and curry sauce spot on. So gave overall 4 stars. Got to admit was disappointed with Cod especially how much it cost.

The chain's build-your-own salad option has been particularly well-received, providing good value for money.
Ordered 3 platters from the rugeley store for a gender reveal. Ordered on Friday and collected the next day. The order was ready at the arranged time in the morning. All boxes were packed lovely with a selection of dips. The sandwiches all tasted super fresh and delicious they certainly went down very well with our guests. Thank you to the amazing team at rugeley who are always so happy to help :) we will 100% be ordering again for another occasion.

Took over 40 minutes to arrive which would have been fine had the food been edible. Food was absolutely shocking, must have been sat for a long time as we ordered the sub melt and it came stone cold and it was so hard we couldn't even bite through it. Won't be ordering again shocking quality for the price you pay

If you’re into stale bread this should be your go to, if I could give no stars I would.. We got two footlongs earlier this afternoon and when we went to eat them less than an hour later it was saddening to feel/find the bread was stale. Not the lovely soft bread we should have but hard horrible and stale.. Why oh why is that? When it’s picked up surely they can feel the breads hard and discard it? No wonder they asked if I wanted them toasting as I’m sure that would hide the fact they were stale.. Sadly when asked “what type of bread” I’d like, I even said “your softest” so god only knows what the rest was like if these were the softest.. Anyway as there’s plenty of decent QS food offerings around I’d suggest you avoid this place like the plague.. Sad, really sad they let this quality out to customers.. No way will I return and I’d suggest you done either..
M C — Google review
Rude staff (except the young one - Katie I’m sure her name is), all table dirty, floor covered in food. £14 for 2 6” meal deals, it’s not worth it. At no point has anyone come out to do any cleaning. Asked about the code for toilet door, told ‘on your receipt’. I said ‘I’m not sure where I’ve put it’ and was told ‘well you’ll need to find it’. They could clearly see I was a single dad with 2 young children

Until the car park is sorted, see below, i strongly advise drivers against visiting, hence 1 star. If you can get there on foot then its 4 star. In relation to food, enjoyed it, quick friendly service. Note that if you want to eat in, this place is not great - void of any atmosphere and is Probably the most unwelcoming seating space you can find at a uk subway. Important- the car park has so many pot holes you are at significant risk of damaging your cars - the holes are deep, you literally can't avoid them.

Nestled in the heart of Cannock Chase, The Horns Inn in Slitting Mill is a delightful country pub that exudes charm and warmth. This inviting venue offers a fantastic selection of real ales and features a cozy whisky snug, making it an ideal spot for both casual drinks and dining. Guests rave about the diverse menu that beautifully blends classic British dishes with global flavors, ensuring there's something to please every palate.
Dog friendly place. The food is one of the best in the country. I had the most delicious and well prepared hamburger. In the burger they've add a slice of brisket. Big meal but so good I had it all. One thing: it's always good to have a couple more napkins when we are having burgers, please. 😇
Fran F — Google review
Really good atmosphere, we have been here before and returned because of the food being so good. We spent about £50 on the food for my salad to come out like this… I dont understand how that was seen to have been of a good enough standard to have been served to a customer. I never ended up touching it. My partner had to club sandwich which also contains chicken and this immediately put him off. We were waiting for someone to come to our table to see how our meals were as that’s what usually happens. However we were there for an hour and a half after our food had been served and no one had came to our table. I’m a very anxious person and as it was busy I felt like I couldn’t go to the bar and didn’t want to make a ‘scene’ with a lot of people around. I don’t think we will be coming here again. The service was shocking in my opinion, as there was never an opportunity to tell a member of staff there was something wrong discreetly as no member of staff ever attended our table after the food was served. So we spent £50 on food to leave it untouched at the table.
Lauren H — Google review
Stopped for a late lunch, plenty of choice at the bar and a range of items on the menu. We ordered steak and mushroom baguette and a beer battered fish baguette ( but on a ciabatta) and we exchanged the crisps for fries....I can honestly say that the two lunches were great value, tasty and we had plenty to eat. We would definitely recommend this pub for food...the only downside was we couldn't find a cycle rack in the rear carpark.
G G — Google review
Had a fantastic experience at The Horns Inn yesterday! My friend and I had a lovely walk around Cannock Chase before heading in for our booked table for lunch. We were kindly shown to our table but asked if we could move closer to the window, and this was graciously accommodated. We were seated in the dog-friendly area, which was no problem at all, and the one dog that arrived was very well-behaved. For food, I had the chicken club sandwich with an upgrade to chips, and my friend had the steak sandwich, also with chips. My friend's steak sandwich was cooked perfectly and was delicious, and my club sandwich was absolutely amazing. It was a huge portion, and I was just about able to finish the last piece! The blue cheese fondue we ordered was also a highlight—great for dipping the chips. The drinks were perfect, too. I was particularly impressed to find Heineken 0.0 on draught, which was lovely and a real bonus. The price was roughly £22 per person and for what we ate was great value for the quality of food and drinks. I would certainly recommend this place and will be back next time I'm in the Cannock Chase area.

Me and my friend were on a walk from rugeley to Hednesford. We found this pub along the way, and we were so glad we did. Lovely welcoming pub, staff were friendly, food was delicious especially the chips. Never had chips so good, and the price was great too. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have essentials ladies would need for free in their toilets, what a great touch. Thank you guys.

Stopped off for lunch. Pub was quiet so plenty of tables available. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had fish, chips and mushy peas in the 2 for £24.95 deal. The chips were the best I've ever eaten, cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The fish was the perfect size and tasted lovely. A wonderful country pub.

After waiting for over an hour for what seemed like a very simple meal, I was really disappointed. I know it was a Saturday, but come on, this is just not acceptable. My 6 year old could make something better for me. The staff were not helpful. Their attitude toward me left me feeling like my custom was not appreciated at all. Definitely won't be going back.
Julie G — Google review
Fair experience and I will explain. Love the chips and pickled onion rings. The rarebit is also delicious- a large dish and couldn't eat it all so no complaint here for those dishes. The steak was very tough on this occasion and the sauce, their was a mix up, and told to buy another if I wanted the correct one. The manager cannot do enough for you; and Emma she is really friendly and will be good to run that pub. The other loud mouthed lady with the red hair, not so much. She will run the pub into the ground with her attitude towards customers. Maybe needs to work on her self awareness too- or go and work in a prison dishing food up. The other young bar staff, although less confident, they are friendly enough. The location of this pub is perfect, surrounded by nice walks. Having lived in the village for 30years it's nice to have this little pub, but could do with some staff not having so much of an attitude as it ruins the place. Good luck on your new venture Dawn. I hear theyre not renewing your license. Hopefully they will get some more staff to take over this lovely pub so our lovely village doesn't lose it. --------------------------------------------------------- Hello Dawn, In response to your reply. -The staff are part of the dining experience. -I partake in mystery diner, and bulk review the week. Hence many reviews done yesterday. -Concentrate on trying to run that pub and keeping it open, instead of running your mouth. You are a great manager, but your mouth lets it down. -when you get a bad review, take it on the chin instead of saying every single one is fake. From my experience in there, all the reviews you say are fake, really aren't. -So defensive of the food because your son is a chef at your pub. Enjoy your holiday Dawn. Let's hope you get to keep that pub. That said, they've probably read the reviews and your responses, and decided maybe, you aren't the people to continue to run the pub. Have a great day Dawn. Best wishes BILL

Day 2

Southwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the southwest side side of town. Start the day off with The Rugeley Rose - Community Hall & Theatre, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Rugeley Power Station. All together, your day would be filled with about 3 hours of non-stop fun.

It's a great little intimate theatre. The bar area is quite spacious, and the drinks are well priced.

We recently booked the theatre for a one night charity concert, consisting of amateur singers and local school children. Owen and the team were fantastic. Welcoming, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Amazing experience, thank you! Lizzie and Keith

Lovely little park with brook, lake and children area.

Never been to a most beautiful place in sunshine. There were fresh ducklings and one was stuck behind a barrier and i was so lucky to hold a duckling and help them to their momma. The place is clean peaceful and would highly recommend for anyone including families. Theres a side hut with bunnies and birds too along side geese and ducks in the pond.

Good, nice park for locals, not the sort of park you’d travel far for as it’s a small park, wouldn’t be for a day out. Toilets aren’t open due to vandalism, been like that for a while. Sometimes there is a lot of bird poo all over the paths but I suppose that’s going to happen. Would be good if it could be cleaned for those with young children

A nice Park close to Rugely town center. A well maintained park and a credit to the staff who care for it. It has a beautiful lake fed by the rising brook stream. The lake has a horseshoe shaped island host to numerous wild fowl, Canada geese, swans and ducks. It also contains pets corner with guinea pigs, rabbits and budgies A nice peaceful place to visit and is well worth a visit if in the area

Small park around quite a big pond. Takes about 10 minutes to walk around it. Small play area for younger children and a fairly decent public toilet.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Vine, and I must commend Helen, the barmaid, for her exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, Helen's warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. Her knowledge of the beer selection was impressive; she guided me through the menu with expertise, helping me find the perfect brew to suit my taste. Not only was Helen incredibly attentive and efficient, but she also displayed genuine enthusiasm and passion for her work. Her recommendations were spot on, and she took the time to explain the unique characteristics of each beer. The level of care and detail she provided truly elevated the entire experience. Helen's professionalism and friendly attitude created a wonderful atmosphere, making each visit a memorable one. Alas I cannot add a picture as I was so busy having a brilliant night I forgot to take one! I can honestly say though that I really look forward to visiting The Vine when I’m in Rugeley. The location is easy to find, the building itself is lovely, the staff are fantastic and friendly and the drinks on offer are great. I would highly recommend the charred pineapple rum! The landlady is wonderful, and I would highly encourage a visit!

This review was for the restaurant Must not The Shapla Balti who have since taken over. The nicest curry I’ve ever tasted! I ordered the Lamb Saki and the flavours were exceptional; fresh, aromatic & authentic. Friendly & welcoming staff too. We will definitely be visiting again soon! Thank you. 😊

Would review with 0 stars if it was possible. We ordered food, forgot a curry on our online order so rang and they added it no problem, food came, was cold but we were starving so ate it anyway, found hairs in the curry so rang to inform them, man on the phone was lovely and said the driver would come back with a refund. 5 minutes after we get our money back the manager rings us to tell us we won’t be allowed to order from The Must again. Disgusting customer service and awful food after new management.

Wide selection of delicious food, the dessert section especially. The only thing missing was sea food. Had a small wait, but the food more than made up for it. Friendly staff & good atmosphere!

We ordered only 3 dishes , it took 45 min to serve. Food were not warm, but tasteless. Biriyani dish was a joke. They did not provide plate initially, after requesting, received after few min. Being Indian,I can say, food were nowhere close to it's standard. Not worth for money. I will not recommend.
Joydip C — Google review
I have to say that the customer service from Must was simply amazing, I ordered a collection online.. when I arrived they explained that the order hadn't come through to their systems and they were so sorry about that, I can completely understand that this happens sometimes, they then took down my order again took a little picture of my confirmation of payment then said it will be around 20 minutes however, they didn't expect me to wait again and will deliver it to my door 20 minutes later they was at my door with my food! Amazing They apologised again and explained they had given me couple of free drinks which was so thoughtful as they didn't have to, then it comes down to the food, the flavour was insane it was beautiful I couldn't stop eating there wasn't one bad dish! Everything was cooked to perfection and in all honesty I can't wait to eat there again, thank you for everything.
Lexi W — Google review
Sadly a disappointing experience, the service was not to bad, but the young lads at front of house, seemed a bit inexperienced, got our bill wrong, added an extra £4 onto it, seems they cant add up. As for the food, the starters were ok, plenty of choice and tasted alright, but as for the choice of main courses, they were pretty poor, the curry all lacked an substance, it was just cubes of chicken in watered down sauces, didn't see anything like onions or pepper's Etc in any of the curries, ok choice of sweets, if you are a child, we will not be returning.
Colin G — Google review
Amazing experience. High quality fresh buffet and each item I tried was amazing! If I had ordered a plateful of anything offered in the buffet as a sit down experience I would have been more than happy. 100% recommended.
Matt L — Google review
Absolutely raging. We ordered £60 worth of food for me my Mrs and our son. Me and my Mrs ordered a combination meal each. An hour later and we get our food but with one half of both our meals missing so we phone and explain what's missing etc. 10 minutes later we get a call back asking us to explain again what's missing. It felt as if they somehow didn't believe us. 30 minutes after this call they still haven't delivered the rest f our food so I phoned and requested our money to be refunded understandably not very politely. Completely ruined our night and the film we were watching. Another 15 minutes later a guy turns up with our food and handsome a 20 note. Better than nothing I suppose but didn't make up for the lack of competence and we won't be using them again

Family restaurant
Colliers Table Table is a stylish chain pub in Staffordshire that offers classic international favorites, grilled dishes, and burgers. The menu features mouth-watering options like the Mixed Grill and delectable desserts such as the Chocolate Layer Torte and Black Forest Sundae. Visitors have praised the friendly staff and excellent customer service, with special mentions for individuals like Sophie and Brett. While some guests enjoyed their meals, others noted that the toilets were not well-maintained.
Food was so nice and flavoured. Staff very prompt and it was a busy Sunday. Very good portion of meat and vegetables were always fresh and hot. I did have reservation, not sure if its a must. Lots of parking. Will be going again.

Look at the calamari! Wow. Every table seems to be complaining. The waitresses were really good apart from the young waiter. Who seemed to take delight in correcting my table number. When I gave the wrong one. The female waiting staff were polite and helpful. And up against it with a bad bad "chef" Didn't return fit breakfast as planned and paid for.

Absolutely shocking! Had a carvery meat was fine. Potatoes and parsnips very over cooked, vegetables undercooked. Was told 15 -20 minutes on other meals. We finished our dinner before the other meals came. Lady serving the carvery was muttering and swearing under her breath too. Also had reserved a table by the window which we couldn’t sit at because other people were sat there so we were given a table in the bar area which was noisy.

The staff could not be more helpful! I have so many food allergies, that eating out is a nightmare. I've eaten here many times, and have never been disappointed. There's a good selection of well marked foods that cover most issues for me. I usually miss out on a pudding, too many variables to risk, for me. The staff are always friendly, and i let them know I'm i "problem customer" with my allergies. Never has this been an issue. Ever. The manager even took the time to take a picture of the ingredients label of the ice cream they offered, so I could order it! Well above and beyond, in my opinion. So helpful, too. Even letting me know the chain of pubs they belonged to, so I would be safe ordering it in any of them. Whitbread group as i was informed. For me, that's so helpful. Adds places I can go, should I choose, and that really means a lot. The Colliers is a good drive out for us, but it's handy for family meet ups, as it's in the middle for most of us. 100% recommended for all!!
Bill M — Google review
The restaurant was quite quiet with over half of the restaurant being empty. Ordered 2 adult meals and 2 children's meals. The meal took 1 hour and 10 mins to arrive (the table next to us waited 30 mins for drinks to arrive before their order was taken, and another waiting that length of time for the table to be cleared and the bill to arrive), when the food did arrive the meals were very small. Made food when we got home to fill us up!
Brendon P — Google review
Well we thought of giving the colliers a try for breakfast and what a disappointment it was. On arrival we were pleasantly greated by a member of staff who told us we needed to pay first and then we could go and help ourselves to the buffet breakfast. At first glances everything looked ok so I made my way to get a tray (no trays) so grabbed a plate which wasn't very clean so picked up another, not very clean but 3rd time lucky so started on the food which all I can say is terrible, swamped in oil to keep warm under the lights. If that was their idea of an English breakfast god help us, the wife on the other hand fancied the so called Continental breakfast which included a bit of fruit and a cold soggy croissant, not the Continental breakfast I was expecting, best was the latte had 2 but the rest of it was rubbish and you would get fresher and hotter food from the local greasy spoon. We will never go again.
Malcolm W — Google review
Visited yesterday for the breakfast. The lady serving was super helpful and really friendly . She was really busy yet still made sure she printed off a copy of the allergy advice for me and got us fresh food when needed.

Big que waiting to get table on a week night as staff chatting, had to ask to be seated, food below average, told waitress there was a hair in 1 of meal's, wasn't interested, one of our table went to McDonald's as was still hungry, didn't like egg.pineapple or tomato but wasn't given extra chips or peas so was like a child's meal... Wouldn't go again, lovely place but staff not up too much and small portions....... Shame, could be a goldmine
