We went there to ski on our first day. The first day is always complicated, but we had fun nonetheless, and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. We paid 42 euros 💶 for full access to all the facilities and 18 euros to rent skis. It was a great day overall ⛷️

Decent ski resort with pistes for all levels of ability. For quiet slopes avoid both weekends and the French school holidays. The best snow is normally found over the back side of the resort (Campels), which also has lots of off piste options. When it busy runs down to the Mansedre lift (Font Frede, Bisorne, and Mansedre are normally emptiest.

Superb place to for Skiing, here they have skiing place Starters 20€ and for experts 39€ for 1 days and even for the people who does not want to ski and just enjoy the snow 8€, but you will enjoy a lot. They evn have lot of Ski rental shops below in the city. Have a great skiing.

We went in the summertime and the trip was amazing. The woman working at the ticket office was really lovely and advised us regarding the weather and what day it would be best to go up. We took the telecabina up halfway and then the chairlift up to the top where we could stay as long as we wanted with amazing views!!

As expected, efficient journey up to Ax 3 Domaines. Staff were friendly at the ticket office and the lifties were happy too. We took the cabine and the chair to the top, enjoyed a hike and a swim, then took the cabine down for a return journey.

This wonderful and affordable hot spring complex is a gem. Salt cave, different types of saunas, cold plunge that is very easy to use and lots of room for everyone in the multiple pools. If you are visiting Barcelona you can reach this by scenic route or toll road (easier and faster route). Make sure your rental car has the avoid toll road option turned off on GPS lol. It is beautiful and clean and accessible for the elderly. The town is gorgeous and the natural beauty is very special. Fresh air and trees abound.

Stunning views from the ruins of a 1000 year old cathar castle . There is no disabled access and a very steep and rough path to the castle remains . Heating in the winter would have been labour intensive , and the very act of building and maintaining it must have been tremendously difficult. If one imagines a siege situation where all food , water and ammunition had to be sourced and stored inside for lengthy periods, imagining the conditions of the time becomes quite dark and forbidding . From the castle one can see what appears at first sight to be a chairlift. It is in fact a system of mechanised buckets transferring talc from the mine in the mountains down to the factory in the town below .

I ended up being disappointed with my visit to this attraction. It starts well with a nice car park, a lovely looking gift shop and a restaurant with a good menu but as you venture around the park itself it's all getting a bit old and run down and there weren't as many wolves as I was expecting. But my biggest disappointment for the kids was the petting area. There were no pigs, and you had no chance petting any of the animals as they wouldn't come anywhere near you. I managed to pay one goat that then tried to head but me. With a bit of TLC this could be a great attraction.

We had the best meal here on our 20 day Europe trip. And Valentine was exceptionally kind and so much welcoming :) our 5 year old also remembers him sharing the wonderful books with her! Will definitely visit again on our next trip.
