Listen. When you come to La Palma you have to visit, at the very least 5 places; The astrophysics center in Roque The Chipi Chipi restaurant The beaches Some hiking And then visit Las Nieves. Perfect place to find some peace and guidance.

Beautiful church over 500 years old. Gorgeous fresco painted above the alter. There is a statue of the Virgin Mary from the late 14th century inside the church.

I loved my trip to Maroparque. I came with all the family and both the kids and us adults had the greatest time! The animals are very well cared for and we were even given the opportunity to feed them. The workers of the park are great. If you are in La Palma, I 100% recommend taking the time to visit Maroparque ❤️

The parrots here made our day. Very thoughtful of this guys to take care of animals that are in the need. It take 1h30 min to see all the animals and spend some time with the birds. They do love to eat peanuts and seeds.

The place looks like it has known better days and that goes for the animals too. Some of them look stressed. I do like a good zoo that supports animals that are close to extinction and keep everything up to date. We had our doubts about this one.

Great place to spend a few hours, as it's a relatively small zoo. Buy the feed for the animals, although pay attention to which animals have which food type.

Unique and incredible experience! You get to feed the animals the different types of feed they like, and the variety is incredible. You’re even able to walk through the enclosures with them. Watch out though, the monkeys and parrots are very very friendly 😂😂🤩

We found this small rescue „zoo“ very authentic. Box of snacks is 2€, buy more peanuts 🥜 boxes as they are the most favorite from all the birds, we didn’t know that and our one box was empty was too soon) also was a fun experience to „communicate“ with the birds, although a bit scary 😅

What a splendid beach. Love black sands. Lovely and scenic. Plenty of spots to lie down, not many sun loungers and umbrellas that I noticed, so if planning on lying around, I'd bring your own.

Beautiful black sand beach, very clean as well. when the sea is nice you can take a swim. also lifeguards are there during the day and there is a wooden walkway on the beach for more accessibility.

Nice little black lava sand beach in the middle of town, close to cafes and restaurants. There is a shower and dressers and very few people (at least in January at 25 Celsius). Very convenient.

Beautiful, clean beach. We were here in late December and the water felt ok to go for a swim! We even witnessed several others not only braving the dip, but staying in the water for 10+ minutes

The beach has black fine sand and the waves are sometimes quite big, and just for info, I am not a fan for big strong waves.. Othen than that, perfect spot to relax and sunbathing.

Nice Fort on a hill. Awesome views of area. Bit tricky to get to by car, walking wise it's less time but you have a long upgrade to the top. Overall, worth it for the views.

I would say it's a hidden gem of the city because you don't usually see it promoted as much as it should. It's always freshly painted in pure, nuclear white, making the light of the ocean reflect incredibly on the entire place. Definitely recommend for a quick hike and adventure.

Visited here last summer when on a cruise, this was on the second trip in La Palma. If you are able to walk the hill, it is extremely worth it and offers some amazing photo opportunities. About 30 or 45 minutes will be more than enough to spend here.

Great views of the city and beautiful blue sea. Walls are very white so i guess its recently painted

Nice historical Fort on a hill. Awesome views of area. Bit tricky to get to by car, if going by car head to the very end of the beach and turn left just past the crossing lights. be careful as the turn as the turn is just after this. You enter a one way system and if you can’t park directly there just follow the road round and there is parking on the hill. To be fair you can walk to this by walking along the beach of the main high street you have a reasonable walk to the top. Overall, worth it for the views. Cheers

Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere high in the mountain.

Friendly staff. Great coffee and great cake in an outstanding building. The list of coffee was small, but very nice. Slight hiccup that we ordered 2 cappuccinos and 1 cortado but got 1 cappuchino and 2 cortado. But we didn't mind that much. Building it is inside is absolutely stunning and the lotus biscoff cheesecake was some of the best I had. 👌

Does I’m telling you that place is really good if you are fun of good coffee and cheesecakes! What is the most important is that barista and the waiter work really fast! That makes the whole difference because they always have tables to seat even though that place is mostly busy. Good atmosphere super fresh roasted coffee and try the plain cheese cheesecake. It is just awesome and melting in your mouth.

I could say it's the best coffee on the island. The place is very nice. Toast/sandwiches are amazing! As a point of improvement, they could include more vegetarian options

One of the most interesting cafes in La Palma. They have speciality coffee and you have an option to choose coffee beans. The coffee was excellent and it was a pleasure to drink it in such a nice place. Their sandwiches are fresh and really tasty. I will definitely come back when I visit La Palma again.

It's like a little Oasis. The food and coffee were great. My frappe and chocolate cake came to €7.60. I would have given five stars for service, but no one checked to fill up the soap dispenser in the toilet. You will need the key, which had a small bell attached to it.

Really good tapas. We had the garlic mushrooms, garlic potatoes and chicken strips.

Thrilled to have sampled this lovely place! With the really good excuse that we were looking for a place to have breakfast, we spotted that Casa Tey offered what looked like a very interesting selection and at low cost. When our choice of Yogurt with fruit, goat's cheese and tomato baguette, fruit juice and coffee were brought to us, we were amazed at the style and quality! In addition to this, it's a lovely old building built in 1718 and you can eat inside or out. I'm pretty sure that we'll be heading back there as soon as possible to try a lunch!!

Had a wonderful start to the day with a simple but fresh breakfast. Really interesting restaurant built into the building. Great service as well!

Good Canarian selection. Have returned for their cheap lunch bocadillos and other dishes. Recommend this place for a drink, especially in the evening. Inside mini-courtyard has great atmosphere, but the main outdoor seating is also nice

Go inside to eat and drink, an unexpected early 18th century interior. Food is good. They serve locally brewed craft bottled beer. Friendly staff. The sliding door to the men's WC is very hard open.

Normal coffee, mediocre pastries and good atmosphere that makes you wonder how are they even open with better service, coffee and munchies. By the way, check your change, they like to self tip themselves.
