These windmills are really well preserved and the area surrounding them very well done. If I compare the visit to the windmills in Consuegra, this visit was more pleasant. There are several bars, cafés and souvenir shops right next to the windmills. We had a coffee and a snack while sitting and admiring the views. The parking area wasn't huge, but they are working on it...this area is in construction and when it is finished, it will be even better. Very good experience overall. If you can only visit one set of windmills on the Don Quijote trail, let it be Campo de Criptana. No tickets needed.

Fascinating and eary arid landscape with windmills of La Mancha. Very friendly people. Restaurants let you use their restrooms for free.

Wonderful place to visit. Near is excellent michelin recommended restaurant. From this position you have best view on the city. And ofcourse you can enjoy in famous Don Quixote windmills. Visit is free, but some windmills are open where you can buy souvenirs or learn more about culture of the area and more about windmills.

Great place to spend an afternoon. Really enjoyed watching the mill work from the inside. The inside is only open on the first Sunday of every month so plan accordingly.
Jackson S — Google review
Beautiful location with the best views of the city! These famous windmills have been featured in Don Quixote’s match scene so if you’re a fan of the book, a visit is worth it! It’s free to visit plus some windmills are open sometimes so you can go in and view the inside as well which is fantastic. There are gift shops and restaurants here as well so if you want some original Don Quixote gifts or food, this is a reasonable place to purchase them.

The flour mill Sierra de Los Molinos is a remarkable destination that captivates visitors with its charm. Despite the limited time, one can still appreciate the beauty of this place in just an hour. Although most establishments were closed, finding parking was not a challenge, allowing people to explore and enjoy the Don Quixote giants in solitude. It's a fantastic spot to capture priceless moments with loved ones through photography.

The Sara Montiel Museum, also known as Molino Culebros, celebrates the life and work of Sara Montiel, the renowned singer and actor from Spain. Located in Campo de Criptana, amidst the beautiful Sierra de Los Molinos region, this museum is a must-visit for fans of Spanish song and filmography.
Sara Montiel was the queen of Spanish 'Cuples', which was a popular risqué Spanish theatre song style. She was a singer and acomplished actor during the 1940s and 50s. This museum dedicated to her in a Windmill Called Culebro, situated in the town of her birth place Campo de Criptana, nestled amongst 'La Sierra de Los Molinos'. Whether you like Spanish song or filmography, or simply are on the trail of the windmills this little gem is well worth a visit. Even Don Quixot might have raised an eye brow Have fun

Museo Del Alambre is a fascinating museum that showcases the work of local artists and their exports. The entrance fee is affordable, making it a worthwhile stop during your visit to Campo de Criptana. The museum's name comes from its impressive collection of wire sculptures and miniatures, offering a glimpse into the area's history. One highlight is the section dedicated to monuments crafted entirely from wire, which is truly spectacular.

Restaurante Las Musas is a charming dining spot located in Campo de Criptana, offering a unique experience with its traditional cave-house setting from the 16th century. The restaurant maintains the original names and history of its spaces, adorned with centuries-old tools. Visitors can enjoy a high-value daily menu while taking in the picturesque view of windmills nearby.
Had a fantastic lunch at Restaurant Las Musas! The fried, slightly cured dish was a real surprise—innovative and delicious. I also ordered the Iberian pork pluma. While a few pieces were a bit overcooked, the ones that were perfectly done had that amazing charcoal-grilled flavor with the juices locked inside. The batter was perfectly crunchy with molten cheese inside, a great combination. Plus, the view of the windmills right next to the restaurant made the experience even more special. Definitely worth a visit for the food and the scenery!

Spain has many quality restaurants this is not one of them. Despite it's Michelin status it was the worst service experience I had in the 2 weeks of restaurants visited throughout Spain. They gave us a water bottle but no glasses, and after 15 minutes and multiple requests I went to the bar and got them myself. The food was good but I expect better care. My main dish had an inedible onion shell in it. We both ordered dessert and coffee but the coffee never came and neither did my dessert. In the end we just wanted our bill so we could leave but the waiter insisted we wait for the coffee even though we finished desert 10 minutes prior. When the bill finally came it included items we hadn't received. In short don't waste your time or money visiting this place.

El Ricote is a must-visit destination with stunning views and delicious food. Visitors rave about the friendly service, tasty dishes like lamb burgers, sirloin toast, and homemade grandmother's cake. The atmosphere is perfect for enjoying drinks with tapas while taking in the beautiful surroundings of the mills and town. The owners are praised for their hospitality, quickly accommodating guests even when busy. Additionally, the daily menu and à la carte options offer generous portions of exquisite cuisine.
Best little café to visit near the windmills at Campo de Criptana. Loads of souvenirs of all types, artisanal things made of ceramic, cork, leather, tee-shirts, socks, you name it, they've got it! The coffee and chocolate filled holadres were great! The terrace area is so nicely decorated and heated (a must in winter months)! There is a lovely "Mirador" which allows you to look out over the city itself or face the opposite direction for a view of the windmills. This place also serves Estrella Galicia beer (my favorite) and must be a great spot at night. The bathrooms were spotless. I highly recommend this café!!

(Translated by Google) I was really looking forward to visiting this place; I'd seen it on social media, and it really didn't disappoint. The food is good, with a reasonable price/quality ratio. I think, although I haven't tried it, that the burgers must be delicious, since most tables had ordered them. But what I want to talk about is the location; it's incredible, with very, very beautiful views. The way they've set everything up, you should definitely go there for a beer, even if it's just one. It's really great; they even sometimes have live music, which is a great idea. I had read in some reviews that the waiters weren't very friendly, which, in my opinion, was completely different. I felt very comfortable and very well looked after. Inside, they have a small shop selling La Mancha products. 100% recommended. Recomendable 100%

Smell, flavor, visual appearance, etc. Miguel was a very good guide throughout the visit, and his companion was also very attentive. (Translated by Google) We were doing a guided tour with tasting. As positive points: the quality-price ratio is excellent, they provided very interesting oenology information if you like the world of wine, and pairing with Km 0 products is a very good idea. I would highlight the attention and interest of the winery staff. As negative points: 3 hours of visit is too long, especially because you are standing the entire time. I would remove “filler” information and summarize. I would add some high chairs or stools during the tasting and pairing part. Overall, a good experience!

We left with a good taste in our mouths and not only because of the wine and its appetizers. 100% recommended. You have our congratulations and of course the 5 stars!! (Translated by Google) Somewhat surprised. Two to three times for some time he bought wine at this winery every year. A few weeks ago I stopped by at exactly 6:35 p.m. and it was closed. Since the sign at the entrance says it closes at 7:00 p.m., I called the phone number several times and the third time a somewhat unfriendly gentleman picked up the phone. He told me that the closing time was 6:30 p.m., I imagine he was the husband of the nice lady who always assists me. The closing time in the afternoons listed at the entrance and on the website is 7:00 p.m. There is a saying that a liar is caught sooner than a lame person. (Original) Un tanto sorprendido.

I decided to try it, and my suspicions were confirmed. One and done, Saint Thomas. The rest is acceptable, there's room for improvement, but without the will to improve, everything is a free fall. When you can be the best, why settle for mediocrity? (Translated by Google) A lovely restaurant serving dishes made with care and taste, both to the eye and the palate. We tried the typical gachas manchegas (a typical dish of La Mancha). My father was born there and says it's one of the best he's ever had. The scrambled eggs with ham and foie gras were spectacular; the duck with raspberries lacked a touch of salt, but the contrast was very good. We ordered a variety of desserts to share, all delicious, although I particularly like the chocolate coulant with pistachio ice cream. The only thing I would improve is the temperature inside; it was very hot inside and cold outside. Otherwise, if I return to the town, we'll definitely come back.
