Moomin World is a beloved theme park in Finland dedicated to the iconic Moomin characters created by Tove Jansson. The park, located on the island of Kailo and accessible via a footbridge from Naantali, features key buildings from the Moomin stories such as the Moomin House, Hemulen's yellow house, Moominmama's doughnut factory, Snufkin's camp, and Moominpappa's boat.
A stunning valley. Even in winter when it's closed, it's worth visiting and being impressed by the place. In summer, the park is open and more experiential. I visited in the winter.

Place for fans, preferably children who speak Finnish. Of course not cheapest place in the world, but Finland is not cheap, so price is acceptable. Island and place itself quite picturesque, just avoid going in peak season to enjoy it, so I would recommend June. I would improve shop, as it has lower variety than shops outside MoominWorld and also price on site are higher, i.e. mugs are much cheaper in Prisma. But if you like Moomins, you will enjoy it. If not, you can still wonder around nature.
Kamil K — Google review
I must admit I'm a little bit disappointed with how small the park is! As a huge Moomin fan, it was my top place to see in Suomi, and I do not regret visiting it, but I think it's overpriced. Also, I found it to be mostly attraction for small children. Seeing Moomins house and hugging Moomins was great, but other attractions were very small, and it took us just around an hour to see the whole island. There are few places where You can eat, some vegetarian options too, but also, prices were a killer. Super small slice of pizza for 7€ is way too much. Fries were also for 7€, but at least it was a big serving. Big plus for the parking and bus transfer, which was very convenient and very well organised.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 An unforgettable experience for the whole family! We visited Moomin World during our summer holiday from Denmark, and it was truly magical. Our son, who is nearly 2 years old, absolutely loved every minute of it. From the moment we stepped into the world of the Moomins, he was captivated – running around, exploring the colorful houses, and meeting the characters he knew from his books. The park is incredibly well-designed for young children. It’s peaceful, imaginative, and full of little surprises that spark joy and curiosity. Everything felt safe, well-maintained, and welcoming – especially for families with toddlers. We especially appreciated the quiet areas for smaller kids, the thoughtful details in each house, and the gentle storytelling that brought the world of Moominvalley to life. The staff were kind and helpful, and you could really feel the love and care that goes into making the park such a special place. Highly recommended for families with young children – and for anyone who has grown up with the Moomins. We left with big smiles and warm hearts ❤️ — A Danish family of three 🇩🇰

annoy experience, we were all adults though I recommend it’s only for kids under seven years old teenagers and older than that will not enjoy it as adult because we have memories with Moomin as we grow up with it we loved it although it was a bit crowded and they should arrange the interest to the houses and mini cottages. The gift shop is very crowded and there was only one cashier after waiting 10 minutes in the heat because inside there is no AC another cashier opened. as a visitor, I don’t recommend that you follow Google Maps because the location is not accurate. You should follow the location in the website and then park your car 18 € or book in advance 16€ then take the bus to the town and then you have to walk a little bit and across the bridge over with the water to reach the Moomin world.
Haleemah F — Google review
A wonderful place for Moomin fans, both young and old (similar to the Cinematography Museum in Łódź). It's a perfect recreation of the lives of the Moomins, the Hempseed, the Snuffy, and the Buka. It's worth devoting a full day to the entire facility. There's plenty to see, as well as plenty of eateries and souvenir shops. On the hour, you can catch a 15-minute show. Tickets aren't cheap, but this attraction is worth the investment.
Pavlinka — Google review
Very nice theme park especially for moomin fans. For all the others it would be a mixed bag I think. This is just a day worth of outside experience - you can enjoy picnic area and do two-three round trips of the whole park. Since not all the characters are present at the same time you need to do some searching to get a pic with all of them. This is not annoying - it just encourages you to explore. The so called magical bracelet experiences are mediocre so the interaction level is limited. I would also defend the food - Moomins mamma buffet is okay especially given the price, so not much to complain about. Also, loved the theatre shows - girl doing stinky’s voice in the puppet show is amazing :) other shows especially the musical ones are great too.
Cubepl86 — Google review
While in Finland, we decided to visit Moomin World and we were greatly disappointed, especially for the price we paid. First of all, the parking in a completely separate place from the park and its 16 euro if you buy it online and 18 euro at the gate. There is a bus that bring you to the park every 5-7 minutes. When you get to the bus stop, there is no signs at all to Moominworld:( we were just following people. In general, Moominworld was a cute experience, especially for younger kids and fans of the Moomins. The characters were charming, and the setting by the sea is lovely. However, the park felt a bit small and outdated for the price of admission. Some of the activities were more suited for very young children, so older kids might lose interest quickly. It was enjoyable for a couple of hours, but it’s definitely not a full-day experience. Worth a visit if you’re nearby and love the Moomins, but manage your expectations.

Beautiful place with lots of restaurants and great views. The office and restaurant staff are helpful and professional. Very expensive boat parking for those boat owners who just visit here for a few days, but good seasonal prices. Electricity and water for boat, shower, sauna and laundry services for people. The sauna/shower facilities are really nice - feels like a real hotel. However, there should be sauna 17-22 and Sunday 21:00 sauna was not hot for me.

Kultaranta is the summer residence of the President of Finland, set amidst 560,000 square meters of picturesque parkland. This stunning granite house welcomes visitors during June and August, offering access to its greenhouse and rose garden. Booking in advance is essential due to its popularity. Visitors can enjoy an insightful tour guided by bilingual or even trilingual guides, providing a fascinating experience despite not having coffee with the president.
Was a great privilege to visit the summer home of Finland's president. Beautiful place and relaxing environment, even though you have small window of time there and feel like you are entering a secure compound you do feel like you entered the grounds of the Whitehouse. Also don't be freaked out if you see plain clothed men in bushes they are the security police watching your every move. ☺️

The church's tower was added in the late 18th century, and its present appearance dates back to the mid-20th century reconstruction.
A surprisingly interesting church! The church yard is beautiful and the surroundings are well maintained. The church itself is different to other churches we've seen in Finland which makes it very intriguing.

After Sail 714 is a delightful dining spot located conveniently near Moomin World, offering stunning views of the marina. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with friendly staff who communicate effectively in English. Guests rave about the delicious smash and veggie burgers, complemented by crispy French fries that are simply irresistible. While it's an excellent choice for a night out, families with small children might find it less suitable.
Great place to eat in Naantali! Had very nice lunch, great service and good views!

Nice place near moomin world with a nice view of the marina. The service was good and they spoke very well in English and the restaurant had menus in English too. The smash burger was tasty, and so was the veggie burger. The French fries were amazing and crispy all around great restaurant highly recommended.

Fabulous crispy chicken and halloumi salad. With a prosecco rose, what's not to like?
Mick O — Google review
Food was just okey, nothing more. Had to wait for about 30-40min, but I was warned ahead so it was fine. Restaurant has big terrace and a good wiev over marina. Where you can watch boats coming and going. It is the last restaurant on the pier and a good choise if you want a bit more quiet place to sit. It was very windy day and wind blows over the terrace quite hard.

Such a wonderful oldie worldie restaurant. Food is amazing. Service is fantastic 👏 👌
Sonia P — Google review
We visited the restaurant at the first Christmas day and we were really disappointed. The fish was nice over all. Also the steak and the skewer was nicely done. But the rest was unacceptable. The vegetables were totally overcooked and drowned in oil or butter. The croquettes tasted funny like they were totally overcooked. The outside was totally brown and had a strange taste. The insides tasted blend. We ordered one steak and one meat skewer and two times fish for four people. The dishes weren't delivered at the same time. There was a pause about 5 minutes. Also the steak and the skewer came alone without the pommes and croquettes. After they delivered the pommes they were raw. We sent them back and the new ones were better but only ok. The croquettes came 20 minutes too late and were overdone. Besides the meals were the toilets. They were totally dark because the light was broken. Also the glasses and the cutlery were dirty. The one service madam was nice and a little bit helpless. But the second service madam with the blonde hair was totally sassy. We were very disappointed. Especially on a Christmas day in a little bit more pricy restaurant we expected that the meals would be at least ok. At the end we were happy as we walked home. They offered free deserts as an apology for the pommes and croquettes but at that point we didn't want to stay longer or trust in them.
Eva-M. D — Google review
I have been plenty of times here. Salmon was very good. Chicken fine. Pizza is not at all that good as it was years ago. I did sense that dough is not done there, but a frozen one. Impacting to the quality. Dough tasted plastic and I did not enjoy it. I hope they go back how the pizzas were before.
Tomi P — Google review
Supposedly, this is the best restaurant in town. Unfortunately, there’s not enough competition, it seems... I do like the classic interior and the food was good (although the potatoes were totally overcooked). But the level of service and attention to detail doesn’t allow me to give more than 3 stars. It’s better than the awful terraces by the sea. There’s potential for more, definitely, but I don’t believe it will get any better under the current management :-/

Restaurant
Nestled along the charming waterfront boulevard of Naantali, Naantalin Kaivohuone stands out as a remarkable summer restaurant, club, and terrace. This vibrant venue offers an impressive lineup of local musical talents while serving up mouthwatering BBQ delights, fresh salads, and refreshing beverages right by the sea. With its spacious terrace accommodating over 180 guests, Naantalin Kaivohuone beautifully blends historical elegance with a lively contemporary atmosphere.
From the moment we walked in the waiter was very welcoming, polite and very accommodating moving tables around for my family to sit. He was engaging with everybody sat at the table. His service skills didn’t end there, he presented the wine and a sample to taste, to make sure it was to my wife’s liking. When we ordered our food my daughter can be fussy but again the waiter went out of his way to get the chef to make a dish that suited her. To see my daughter sat quietly and enjoying her food made our dining experience excellent. The food itself is exceptional and prompt. The restaurant is set in prime location on the edge of the Marina. I wish I knew the waiters name but nobody had a name badge on. Definitely coming back again

Good service, staff took care of us and our 4 year old daughter as well. Food was excellent! Very calm place (at least early evening) with a child too. Beautiful location!
Hiekkakallio — Google review
Initially, we were told that you could bring your dog to the terrace and that the entire restaurant was non-smoking. So we were overjoyed, then... - Even simple meals were difficult to obtain for people with restricted dietary needs. - Then they leave one out of the order. We received a message saying, "Sorry, it is not ready at this time." So it was true, and the meal was like.... Very fast car.... but delectable service, waiter and waitreas, they were excellent.
Lasse M — Google review
The pizza was excellent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was nice.
Ihor M — Google review
Bad service, which is a shame since the terrace is nice and food was pretty good. But to ask for a group of 10 to choose their dishes beforehand is a bit strange; we haven’t had this happening anywhere else. And on top it did not help at all to get the food fast, we waited our main courses for two hours! Which is not acceptable, especially when dining with children. On top the attitude of some of the waiters was not something you’d expect in a place like this. We ordered a bottle of white wine and it was dumped onto the table with a bucket with minimal amount of ice (not enough to cool the wine down) and 4 glasses next to it. Normally a waiter would pour the wine into the glasses but not at Naantalin Kaivohuone. We also had to ask for wine multiple times. When the waiter collected the plates and cutlery after the starters, she did not bring new ones for the main courses and we had to again request them and wait. Please brush up your service or you won’t have many returning customers in the future.
Maria M — Google review
The terrace was great, with excellent sea view. Good burgers, also gluten free.

We visited here Juhannus weekend. Every other restaurant was so busy that waiters were mixing up orders and customers had long waits. So we decided to visit Kaivohuone. The food was really good!!! I don't understand google maps, because according to it the Manor is temporarily closed. It was definitely not the case on 17 AUG 2025, where we reached the Manor at 5 PM, one hour prior to the closure... According to the homepage of the manor it's open even today from 11 AM till 5 PM. I guess anyway that visit of the Manor is a must, where you find the history of Mannerheim family who owned the manor till 1903, and where the big general of Finland, Marshal Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim was born.

Luolalanjärvi Nature Trail

National reserve
Luolalanjärvi Nature Trail, also known as Silmu, is a 3.5 km path located in Haijainen, Luonnonmaa. The trail winds through diverse landscapes of forests and rocky areas. Along the way, hikers can find a lean-to shelter with barbecue spots and readily available firewood for a cozy campfire experience. Additionally, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy various activities such as disc golf and fitness trails in the area.
The hiking trail goes around the lake and the view is just magnificent. The chirping of birds in the silence of the forest were echoing all over. Had a nice time walking there.

Hasta la Pasta is a charming eatery located in the heart of old Naantali, offering a delightful atmosphere and an array of homemade pasta dishes, complemented by delectable desserts and wine. The restaurant operates on a self-service basis where patrons peruse the menu, place their orders at the counter, and then receive their food at the table. Despite its small size, it's advisable to make reservations due to its popularity. The establishment also provides ample parking nearby.

The food is good but the service needs improvement. I arrived about an hour before the kitchen closing time, I checked on the website beforehand to make sure they are open and serve food. I was almost sent away due to a too long food cue. The restaurant was half full, so it was hard to understand why they couldn't serve the customers present in the one remaining hour. I told them exactly this and begrudgingly was accepted. It didn't leave me with a good feeling but I had chosen to eat in this place and didn't want to start looking for an alternative at this point. To me it looks like a staffing problem, with enough kitchen staff this should not have been a problem. Naantali is a touristy location and the restaurant should be used to high customer traffic. And when I arrived it was only half full.

Restaurant
Rymiksen Mummola is a charming local pub that captures the essence of cozy dining with its welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Known for its homemade-style burgers, this spot serves up generous portions that are both delicious and satisfying. While the pricing can be a bit misleading—especially since meals typically include just fries and a soft drink—the quality of food makes it worthwhile. Guests rave about the surprisingly large pizzas, which many consider to be among the best in Finland.
This place offers large portions of amazing food (try the burger!) and the workers, as well as the other customers, were super friendly! Words can't express how grateful I am for the help they gave me and my friends.
Ben S — Google review
Burgers were more on the "homemade" style so not as fancy as you could expect, but still very tasty and good. Atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. Pricing for a "meal" is very misleading as it only includes fries and a soft drink(0,5l) on top of that was ~4€. All in all food was very good but a bit overpriced.

But as luck would have it, there was pork with a sweet glaze, creamed potatoes and pittpannu, the best snack in that situation. It may be that some people complain about the lack of taste, but I disagree, there were flavors and I did notice that the food is made heart-friendly, which is a good thing. I give a full four stars. Restaurant
Nestled within the Naantali Spa & Hotel, Restaurang Le Soleil is a culinary gem that offers an inviting atmosphere for guests and locals alike. This charming restaurant serves a delightful array of meals throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The highlight is undoubtedly their lunch buffet available on weekdays from 10:30 AM to 2 PM, where diners can create their own plates from a variety of options featuring fresh salads and hearty dishes.
Le Soleil serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food rating is meant for the dinner only. I have a picture on my plate from a little bit of each selection, from the starter table. Obviously you can't see everything from my plate, but there was a lot of starters and they were all delicious, some more than others. Ofcourse the restaurant changes the menu a bit, ever so often. So sometimes there might be different foods. In this occasion everything there was, in average the food was 5 star's ⭐. I remember, since we have been here at the resort for at least 5+ times with a group of 15+, there has been better desserts than today, but these were just good. The service with the waiters is positive, they pick up the finished plates quite quickly and are very kind and smiling. The food assortment is neat, everything is. At first I didnt't get why the restaurant rating might be 3,8 star's ⭐, but then I realized that it might be the ratings for the lunch and breakfast that made it drop a bit. I've had the breakfast before and it was tasty, nothing to complain in this matter, or anything in this restaurant. Kids are 12€ and I think adults are like 40€ Tip: don't fill yourself too much with the big selection of starters or else you might not be able to finish the desserts :)

You got cold fish (should be warm). I dont eat fish. Then theres some cooked vegetables which i hate. Salads are full of balsamico which i cannot stand. No other options available and the food costs almost 50 euros! Never again. Horrible experience so i took a taxi to local market and bought saarioisten jauhelihapizza for 1.3eur! Loved it.

Probably the most special experience for a foodie in the Turku area. From fresh oysters to tasty cactus leaves and even crunchy crickets 👌 you can, of course, choose from the delicious classics as well. Just wonderful! 😊
Karri K — Google review
Staying at Naantali spa, looked at the menu online (only one listed). The warm food didnt match what was listed online. When asked, the manager informed us that the menu listed online is the 'brunssi' menu and not the dinner menu. Was left with only dry pork and potatoes. Tried a dessert (piece of brownie type dessert with nuts) which was very dry. Would have been nice to have some cream available. When paying the insanely expensive bill (a 300g steak from any other restaurant would cost less) the waitress didnt even ask how our meals were. So we are leaving our feedback here. We have breakfast there tomorrow as part of our hotel stay. Fingers crossed the experience and food are better.
Tj D — Google review
The only good thing about this place is the view when to you're sitting on the balcony side. Do not eat there. They do not refill the food as there's so little people eating. You'll get either cold or no food.
Fani — Google review
The breakfast was good especially omelette and potato pancakes, and pastries! Selection of ham and cheese was very scarce: two types of usual cheese that you can buy in any food store in Finland, and two two types of ham that were cut very unprofessionally. Also, I assume they put old cheese back and do not keep it very well until the next morning because on the top of the plate they had very dry pieces of cheese. The dinner costs 42 euros, and the food was not great. Definitely not worth the money. A selection of wines is good though.
Julia M — Google review
The dinner buffet was a bore. Hot food is an average lunch buffet level quality, limited selection and tastes were unexciting. I ate lots of cheese because the hot food was a let down. The redeeming quality was the desert selection however, we were happy with it. For almost €40 per person the buffet could be better with the chefs trying slightly more interesting recipes.

Day 3

Keep it simple
For day 3, these 7 places should be enough to fill your day with something exciting to do in Naantali. Start the day with Karhuvuori Observation Tower and make your way through the city to get to Medieval Church of Catholic St. Bridget’s Convent. This should take about 11 hours of your day.

Scenic spot
Karhuvuori Observation Tower offers a delightful setting with a lovely, modest incline and lush woodland surroundings. The hike to reach the tower may be challenging for some, particularly for pet owners due to the presence of demanding staircases along the trail. Nevertheless, the effort is rewarded by a beautiful panoramic view from atop the tower. Visitors should come prepared for a climb as they immerse themselves in this picturesque spot.
Great place, I recommend visiting. There is a small parking lot at the trailhead below. The view from the very top may not be the most spectacular, but the ascent and descent are definitely an experience. There is a small room upstairs where you can apparently sit and warm up. Nearby there is what looks like an outdoor toilet.

The archipelago trail (Saariston rengastie) is something that you may wish to plan well beforehand. This about 250km long route with 8 ferries (7 free ones) can provide an enjoyable drive and some nice sceneries but should be planned for. The roads are mostly inland, very small roads where you will not see the shoreline. The accommodation must be booked early as there may not be anywhere to stay otherwise. Many private roads cross the main road and there can be limited access to the shoreline. Renting a boat might be an idea. Nevertheless there are a few nice small villages worth the visit. Also, do prepare for the ferries as during peak times there can be a wait for hours!

The restaurant is in beautiful location, however the food was not meeting the expectations with price. The burgers were good, but the risotto was not worth the price (25€) it was a bit boring/tasteless. We had the ”raparperi spritz” and it was really good! Service was nice, nothing outstanding.

Emilia K — Google review
Pretty good food for the price, service is slow but otherwise not annoying. What however is annoying is that if you order a glass of water, which is typically always, always free in Finland, they bring you a can of ice water and charge you extra for it. A cheap rip-off.

Restaurant
Luostarin Puutarha is a delightful gem nestled in Naantali, perfect for those seeking a cozy dining experience. The enchanting courtyard, adorned with tree vines, provides a serene escape from the summer sun—though be prepared for the occasional wasp! Guests can enjoy delicious pizzas that are both crispy and satisfying, alongside fresh salads. While prices are quite reasonable compared to other tourist spots nearby, drinks may lean towards the pricier side.
Very charming and romantic restaurant, with wooden tables under the trees in a courtyard. Pizza”s are great, think and crispy, as they should be. Salads are fresh and a waiting time is very short. Tap beers, long drink from a tap. Prices are lower than in the restaurants around on the waterfront. We enjoyed our time here!
Anna E — Google review
Atmospheric place to have a few drinks. We did not stay in the hotel or eat anything so can't speak to that. However we loved the atmosphere and the surroundings, it felt like a magical little garden tavern. The drink selection was not very wide. Toilets smelled a little weird.
Rinna V — Google review
Our kids had to wait 45 min for ice cream! The youngest was even crying. There is no explanation for this slow service since there were only 2 tables with guests. The pizzas took even longer! This lack of service is so sad because actually the restaurant is very beautiful!
V M — Google review
Giving two stars since the place is beautiful and the beer tastes as good as anywhere else. But please do not make the mistake of ordering pizza here.. it is an insult to the restaurant business in general to serve pizza as low in quality as they do here and in addition, you have to wait for it for one hour. They really do use the premade, frozen pizza crusts here. The cheapest ones you can find in a grocery store. To serve this for a regular prize of a real pizza you can find in a real pizzeria is unforgivable. Clearly the owners of this place have no shame.
Errrno — Google review
Just don't eat here, unless you like to wait at least 90 minutes to get your food and have it served at 20 minutes intervals, and then be sworn at by the arrogant and aggressive staff when you ask why you haven't got your food. Their policy, of course, is no refunds even if they haven't started preparing your meal. The two young men working there are apparantly related to the rich owner of this place and several other establishments in Naantali. Perhaps this explains but doesn't excuse their entitled, selfish and thoroughly unprofessional attitude to customers. What a shock to experience this kind of reckless indifference and irresponsbility in Finland where I have only ever (in thirty years of coming here on holiday to see family) found youngsters working to be so polite, helpful and service oriented.
Andrew W — Google review
The worst customer care I've ever seen. Young folks who have no interest of giving you even a half "Finnish smile", one girl had a resting b!@ch face and rolled her eyes, the other one seemed to be so annoyed when her colleague asked her to serve us the soft drinks from the bottles. At least the pizza was estable, but not with these "butter knives". Treat yourself and look for a better place!
Kerli P — Google review
Really fun and cozy place. We were here on vacation and accidentally stumbled upon this place. Their marketing outside the building could be a bit better as we almost walked past it thinking it was someone's backyard. Service was fine, friendly people. We ordered a custom pizza which was very nice. Drinks were a little expensive for 5 euros each. Overall a good experience :)
Niels — Google review
We visited Naantali for a quick trip, and decided to eat here as the atmosphere looked nice. The tree vines offer a soothing escape from the sun. During summer though there may be a few annoying wasps flying around. Since we weren’t too hungry we ordered only one pizza. We got the MM-pizza and we liked it. It was nothing special, just a normal pizza, but we did eat it happily. The price (15€) I think is pretty basic, or actually to the cheap side, since this is a touristy area. We didn’t have to wait more than 10-15 minutes. The drinks on the other side were a bit more expensive than we expected. One glass of Coca Cola Zero was 5€. But, once again, not soooo bad for a tourist area.

Väski is an adventure island perfect for families with children, offering five distinct experiences. These include a Pirate Harbour, Smugglers Fortress, Fishermen's Village, Hunters Camp for archery and other activities, and the Hermits Hut where kids can try panning for gold. The island also features climbing opportunities for all ages, barbecue areas, and boat trips departing from the old town near Moominworld. In winter, visitors can enjoy ice skating and use the good barbecue spots.
(Translated by Google) A great adventure island for the whole family. There are many climbing opportunities for every age group, archery, barbecue area. In midsummer you should definitely stock up on mosquito repellent, as these beasts can be a bit annoying. Overall, a wonderful place to spend a whole day with the family. You can even grill bratwurst (you can buy it there) on a stick at the campfire.

BBQ pork with potato vedges and dijon mayo here was excellent, and service came with a warm smile. Just one experience so far, but a marvelous one! Highly suggest for you to try, if in the neighbourhood.

(Translated by Google) Very friendly service and excellent food. The pork cutlet tasted really good and the mushroom sauce was really good. There was plenty of mashed potatoes and a special mention goes to the melt-in-your-mouth soft carrot bread. The dessert donut was also so airy that it literally melted in your mouth. You could taste the quality in the portion and you knew that semi-finished products were not used. Recommendations! Suosittelut!

Restaurant
Ravintola Tavastin Kilta offers a great view and good food with friendly and attentive service. However, some visitors have noted that the lack of buckles on their child seats could be unsafe for babies, making it less than ideal for families with young children. Despite this, many patrons eagerly await its reopening as it has been regarded as the best restaurant in Naantali over the years.
Sauce used in partner's starter pumpkin pie was so sinfully good that we decided to order a cup of that with bread alongside with other dishes. This was the most enjoyable dish I've had all year. Main courses kept us happy and so did the deserts. Service was top tier.
Korppu K — Google review
A nice place on the shore of the sea in Naantali. Good flavors and, as a rule, large portions. Serving ... good when you are understood. What made it a bit challenging in the restaurant was that some of the English-speaking waiters did not understand e.g. allergies and thus there were confusions in the serving.
Oona H — Google review
Great atmosphere. Really good food and great service. Clean place. We asked for a birthday surprise and the staff arranged it very nicely.
Afra F — Google review
The view was great, the food and service was good. The only negative point was that their child seats had no buckles to fasten, totally unsafe for babies. We had to sit our baby in the stroller. Not ideal an ideal situation for dining.

This is such a nice and picturesque restaurant... I can recommend this to anyone. We were 55 dining there and everything went smooth as silk... food, service ... and the smiles along the service Thank you Tavastin Kilta, we had a success dinner
Jouni K — Google review
The menu sounded quite casual but when they came with the food we all got a WOW experience. Very beautiful plates. We had fries with parmesan, cheese sallad, beef tartar and burrata with grilled peaches. Definitely ordering them again. The only thing we didn't like were the desserts but the coffee were excellent!
Elisabeth N — Google review
We enjoyed our wedding anniversary dinner at the terrace 17.6. and food.was perfect and together with the sunset, at leas as good as Portofino. Happy with the new owner of the restaurant, that they want to bring Tavastin Kilta to the niveau it deserves.
Nea V — Google review
The muikku was ok, more salt was needed. Baked potatoes should have spent a few more minutes inside the oven. The service is great and the view of the harbour is beautiful.

Wanha Salakuljettaja, also known as The Old Smuggler, is a vibrant hotspot nestled in the heart of the archipelago. This lively bar and nightlife venue is perfect for those staying in nearby cabins or on boats. With its picturesque seaside views and cozy ambiance, it’s an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploration.
very friendly atmosphere and comfortable holiday homes with the best view 🤍

The Old Smuggler is one of the most interesting places in the area. Vivid bar and nightlife spot for people staying at cabins or boats. When there are nights with parties, there is definitely a change to meet new people or even a date. Some nights are with live music. Food is very good. Pizzas were well made with good crust and tasty fillings. You can even take a swim if you feel like it, and remember to ask people who are there with boats, they will know how to party the Finnish way! 5/5, a must-go!
Eerik H — Google review
Very attractive looking place to get drunk. Pizza was good🤤 6/5. There was a lot of staff.
Tero V — Google review
Honestly, this bar is one of the coolest places I've been to. Firstly, it has a gorgeous view overlooking the archipelago. Combined with the vibe of the rest of Teersalo, it's also very quaint and cozy. Secondly, the bar food was amazing. It may be a bit high on calories, but that's just what you need after a long day of travelling. I'd recommend the pizza with bacon and bell pepper (I think it was called Bacon). Thirdly, the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. I thought Finns were closed and quiet, but visiting this bar proved me wrong. I might come to Teersalo again just to revisit Old Smuggler.
Richard A — Google review
Great pizzas, wonderful staff and superb atmosphere right in the middle of archipelago!

Salmone pizza was very tasty. Not too heavy but still fulfilling. Somewhat pricey but understandable given the location. The environment was pleasant with seaside views. Overall, a great place.
