Lookouts
The journey to the Picón de Felipe Lookout was perilous, not due to its distance from the car park but because of scorching temperatures reaching 40 degrees. Nevertheless, the effort proved worthwhile as this vantage point offered an excellent location to witness the dam and river. The stroll leading up to the lookout was pleasant, with breathtaking panoramas awaiting visitors. The views were truly astonishing and left a lasting impression of beauty. Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable experience at this observation deck.
Great spot to view dam and river. Nice walk.

Bar & grill
Spanish restaurant
Tia María is a bar-restaurant located in the charming square of Aldeadavila de la Ribera. The architecture and decor alone make it worth a visit, but it's the quality of their dishes that truly stand out. Their menu offers a range of options, particularly highlighting their perfectly grilled meats. Visitors praise the delicious food, especially the delightful cheese tasting board. The rustic style and spacious, well-decorated dining area add to the overall experience.
(Translated by Google) Very good site. It is recommended to visit for its careful rustic style on all floors. The restaurant area (lounge downstairs) is very spacious and well decorated, with large tables. In addition, there is the grill so you can see how they cook some dishes. The cook was attentive when passing the meat a little more. Likewise, the waitress who served us was pleasant. The dishes were good, as were the homemade desserts. (Original) Muy buen sitio.

(Translated by Google) A quite nice place, and with an excellent dining room. It has grilled meats, which are made in the same dining room in a large fireplace. They also have a weekend menu, where some dishes stand out over others. The meats are good, but the portions are not large. The restaurant is rustic and has some touches that make it pleasant. The service is fast, attentive, and uniformed. I think I would have given it more stars if the food was better. First courses somewhat fair, second courses better. The weak desserts. (Translated by Google) Large dining room, grilled meats and variety of tapas. I didn't like the treatment (first there was no place, then only a menu without grill, then there was grill...). I also didn't like that they charge you 5 euros to share the menu (which is no lower than 22 euros for the cheapest) without this implying a change in the amount compared to the one who orders a menu per person. Homemade food and very good grilled meats, high price compared to other places in the area. (€€-€€€)

(Translated by Google) The food quite good. Like almost everyone in the area. Lots of food. Prices... Between €20-30 per person. If you share it's €5 more. The men's toilets are on the street. They are latrines. The service was quite attentive although at first it seemed like they didn't want to serve us. They put problems on the menu so you could finally order almost everything, strange. Casa Guarde Restaurante offers a menu del dia for around 17 euros, excluding coffee. Despite the unassuming exterior, the interior is modern and inviting. The restaurant provides ample portions and drinks, including a good local wine. It's one of the best dining options in the area with a wide selection of homemade starters, main courses, and desserts. If the dining room is full, guests can enjoy a variety of delicious bar snacks served by friendly staff.

(Translated by Google) Correct food. We went for dinner and they had sandwiches and portions, but no menu with starters and seconds. They also had bar portions. It was a little cold, it seems more like a summer place (they have a covered terrace). I have to say that I ordered a half portion of a plate from the bar and it was quite a quantity. I also ordered a tortilla skewer from the bar. Finally, the entrecôte was good, but the garnish was canned peppers and French fries that looked like they came from a bag. (Original) Comida correcta.

(Translated by Google) €25 for a menu of the day in a town bar is a bit exaggerated. The food was not bad but not worth that much either. And during the week they charge you €16.50. Not even in the tourist areas of Madrid or Barcelona do they charge you that... The food, although with portions that were quite good, was very average. We ordered a salad that had too much sauce and an oxtail that was not bull but beef. Of course, at least they were very nice. The children were charged €15 for a single dish on the menu. We paid €80 and it was nothing out of this world either. Corporario

Corporario is part of a municipality that also includes Aldeadavila de la Ribera and Salto de Aldeadavila. The area has a long history, with evidence of human habitation dating back to the Neolithic period. The town itself has been referenced since the 3rd century, originally named Aldea Dauila, while today it is known as Corporario. Remnants of a Roman road further attest to its ancient roots.

(Translated by Google) 4.5-star review. The place is very nice, especially if you go with your pet. There are several terrace options that are incredible. The food was delicious: we ordered mushrooms, which were delicious, and Angus cured meats, which were also very good. For dessert, we had French toast, the best I've ever tried, and cheesecake, which, in my opinion, lacked more cheese flavor, but was rich and creamy. Everything was very well presented. The service was very good throughout, especially caring about our pet.
