The Museu del Suro de Catalunya, located in a modernist former factory, offers audio-visual exhibits and guided tours that delve into the history of cork. The museum is well-organized with friendly staff and provides free entrance for children under 12. The museum also offers multilingual information, including French and English translations. It's recommended to set aside 1.
Amazing, quirky, stylish museum both educational and eye candy. Loved all expositions and the design. We spent almost two hours there with our children(10, 12, 1.5 years)

Great museum. Very interactive, different types of installations. You can touch abd feel everything. Good explanations about all the aspects. What really was good is two zones for kids, where they can play, while you study the informative presented.

Fascinating museum that gives you great insights into the area around you. I had know idea of the incredible industry that Cork provided to this town. The museum is well thought out and provides information in multiple languages.

Fantastic Well worth a couple of hours. Who knew cork could be so interesting and relevant now for climate concerns. Great story of development and innovation through challenging era by the original company. Ask at reception for English subtitles on the video and watch this first. All other information also provided in English, French etc

Make sure you reserve 1,5 to 2 hours when visiting Palafrugell to visit the cork museum! Excellent exhibition with a very nice historical film (subtitled) explaining the role of the region in making cork(s) - yes, for all kinds of applications! Worthwhile a visit!

Bed & breakfast
Arkhé Hotel Boutique Pals is an elegant and romantic boutique hotel located in the medieval village of Pals in Baix Emporda. The hotel offers six individually designed rooms, each exuding comfort and cosiness, with features such as vaulted ceilings and wooden beams. The lovingly restored historic building is surrounded by fields and forests, making it an ideal location for a rural retreat. Guests can enjoy a plant-based breakfast buffet featuring smoothies, cakes, cereals, and other enticing options.
What a wonderful place situated in an unique village with the most exceptional healthy breakfast. Amazing terrace overlooking the most beautiful roofs. Great bed and linens and interesting decor. We had the greatest time!
Marcela J — Google review
We had such an amazing stay at Arkhé to celebrate my birthday weekend. The hotel was beautifully decorated with personal touches. The location was perfect to explore Pals and the surrounding towns and was very quiet. The small number of rooms allowed you to relax and it made it feel like you had the place to yourself. The hotel even couriered our passports as we forgot them in the safe - such personal and exceptional service! Would stay here again easily!!
Jenna J — Google review
We had a pleasant satay at this hotel. It is in a good central location and the breakfast was delicious. The bar and breakfast area on the foot is gorgeous with view out over many old rooves into the surrounding country. The bar was not stocked though and it was hard to find any staff to help in the evening. There was an extra charge for drinking water which felt unnecessary.

We spent only 1 night in this beautiful little hotel and it could not have been more magical. Full of positive energy and decorated with so much love and style that you really forget about everyday life and relax. Breakfast was the absolute moment of pleasure. Wonderfully fresh, balanced and so lovingly arranged. Everyone goes to great lengths to make it a memorable experience. Our room was named *Silence* and was exactly what the name promised. The furnishings are carefully chosen for quality and thoughtfulness. And the atmosphere was just to be enjoyed. The bed was an absolute delight. Of all our hotel stays in the world, this little gem hotel is definitely in the top 5. We will definitely come back and recommend it to all our friends and guests. Thank you Marti & team

Such a lovely spot, one of the best decorated accommodations I've ever stayed at. Clean, quiet, and beautiful. Breakfast was also 10/10 on the rooftop terrace.
Dori G — Google review
What a lovely little treasure hidden in the medieval town of Pals in Costa Brava. Forget the concrete beach resorts, this place will touch your soul. The 6 suite boutique hotel is located on a narrow street in the historical old town. It offers incredibly cosy atmosphere, especially the rooftop breakfast room with the terrace. It was probably one of the most beautiful breakfast locations I have seen. Also the organic breakfast was amazing. I especially loved that the hotel was filled with fresh flowers, it the whole atmosphere so much more beautiful. We staid in the Rice Paddies suite downstairs and the room was very nice and clean, I love the colors and the aesthetics. But I wouldn't book it another time, because of a little bit cellar-feeling. It would be nice to try the other upstair rooms. Free parking is available very near, we got very good instructions to reach that. Very friendly and helpful staff, we absolutely enjoyed the stay and would love to visit again!
Annekreet H — Google review
We have fallen in love with this absolute gem of a hotel. The most beautiful interior decor, spacious, clean rooms with amazing lighting and the comfiest beds. We felt so welcome from the minute we stepped through the door and didn’t want to leave! Marti was able to provide us with information for excursions and restaurants which made our trip to Pals one to remember. Their passion for eco friendly/ sustainability is fantastic and their breakfast is the best I have had in any hotel on the costa Brava... healthy, delicious and beautiful to look at! Thank you for making this such a memorable holiday. We will be back!

Can Malirach in Pals is a must-visit for ice cream enthusiasts. They offer unique flavors like gazpacho and anchovy, alongside more traditional options. The thyme (farigola) flavor is particularly recommended. The gelato is of great quality and can be enjoyed in the pleasant garden area. Visitors rave about the delicious Angelo ice cream served here, with some even dubbing it the best in the world.
Very nice ice salon! The icecream is good. Especially the raspberry sorbet icecream was reaaally good. They had this taste platter with 4 small icecream scoops, for €4,70. Which is a really good price, and it's very fun to taste multiple flavors!

Can Malirach Gelato Shop was a refreshing oasis during our afternoon exploring the historic town of Pals. On a hot summer day, it was the perfect spot to pause and indulge in something special. The flavors were surprising and delightful—we sampled Green Apple, Gazpacho, Vermouth & Olives, and Raspberry. Each one was a revelation. We lingered in the beautiful courtyard, savoring our gelato and the peaceful atmosphere before wandering the charming streets again. We couldn’t resist returning later to pick up some stunning Thomas Buxó pottery from the shop—so thoughtfully curated and full of character. What a gem. I can’t wait to come back!

This afternoon, I visited a charming small terrace that exuded coziness. To my astonishment, a young boy attended to us and took our order. Not only did he serve us, but he also cooked the food himself - an incredible surprise! Initially, I only intended to order something simple, assuming it would take a while. However, everything happened swiftly and efficiently - the burgers and pizza were delightful.
We have gone this afternoon to this small terrace that looks very cozy .. we arrived and we were attended by a boy who, to our amazement, took us the command and served us and also cooked us WOW how amazing it can be? We thought at first to tell him that it is okay and that we will only take something because we thought it would take but again WOW was all very fast the burgers and pizza was very nice sure we will bring our friends here my girlfriend and I are happy service five stars THANK YOU

Tourist trap in it's best. The place is in a incredible location, it's beautiful and very appealing however, once you sit in the place you notice that the quality of the menu and the service is not matching the price they are asking for. The menu is not updated, they did not have many items in the drink list. The logo mentioned they have the best beef burger. I ordered it and it was half burned. Very disappointed. It's a pity because they could do so much better but it remained as tourist trap.

Tapas bar
I recently visited Empordanet1842 Bar Tapas for a small dinner in mid-June 2021. The menu is uncomplicated, yet the food was of exceptional quality. The roast chicken had a delightful taste, and the French fries were served with freshly fried vegetables - a brilliant concept. The presentation was executed with care and discernment. The wine selection was impressive, along with the pleasing coffee and attentive service.
We wanted to sit and drink a coffee and the owner didn't leave it to sit and he was super rude with us. Just a single table was occupied, and plenty of free tables. I haven't met someone with this attitude, to be honest.
Elena V — Google review
I approached them to ask if I can buy water. The owner came , and told me in an extremely unfriendly way “in the shop” in Spanish, and was shooing me away. I was a bit taken away, said ok, that was a bit rude, and was leaving. He yelled after me that I am stupid - so i turned back, and asked sorry what? I was actually quite calm but surprised. He came super close to me and started yelling how i dare speak to him like this in his house, and that i am stupid. I told him i just wanted water as it is very hot. Anyways he continued to yell at me. I am not surprised by the many similar experiences. He also doesn’t have yo change because he is literally the only bar in the area. Anyways i would rather dry out than go back there.
Dora K — Google review
Cranking owner. Very rude to kids. Shouted at the children for trying to purchase an ice cream by opening the door, he could have said it in a much nicer manner. nicer establishment elsewhere in pals.
Art G — Google review
I love the place, excellent food, the owner is not rude at all, he wants respect, which is very normal. We have been eating there for years and I can say Javi really became a true friend. Already counting the days that we can go back there and enjoy quality food and a very nice time.
Yolande R — Google review
Today my dad visited the town, got closer to see the menu, and immediately someone who said he was the owner came out and almost pushed him away saying that people like him cannot be there. My dad is a quiet middle age man from Italy, on a holiday with my mom. Regardless, there is no excuse to treat ANYONE like this, and seeing the poor reviews of this place, I am not surprised. I really do not recommend it
Lucia C — Google review
Unfriendly, rude, and ill-mannered owner. I approached him to use the toilet, however he did not realize I was a customer and he gave me a cross signal with his arms conveying I go back. Bartenders were nice though. And on top of that crazy expensive. Stay away!

Mediterranean restaurant
Restaurant La Vila is a family-run establishment located in the heart of Pals, offering a rustic setting with a terrace. It's known for its great local cuisine at reasonable prices, making it popular among both locals and tourists. The menu features tapas, grilled meats, seafood, and regional rice dishes. The restaurant prides itself on using local products to prepare traditional Catalan dishes such as caldereta and entrecot.
Looking for a restaurant around 16:30 in Pals was An adventure. In the end we found la Vila. The service they provided was very good. All our wishes were fulfilled. We ordered 2 menu a casa for 26€ and 2 menu del rice for 23€. The portions and the taste were very good. I recommend this restaurant.

A wonderful restaurant. Regional products. Delicious food and sangria. The atmosphere of this place exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it!

Greatest service, worst chefs The steak was straight up not edible, looked like they wanted to kill you with food poisoning. On the contrary, the chicken was almost too dry to eat. However, they shine at sea food and I really enjoyed the calamares. The portions were unfortunately too tiny for the price. Didn’t get me full. I am disheartened that it wasn’t good

La Vila is a great choice for enjoying tasty local dishes in a cozy setting. The menu offers traditional recipes with fresh ingredients, and the portions are generous. The staff is kind and attentive, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a nice meal with friends or family, highly recommended if you’re in the area.

We had great traditional food here. The salad was fresh, the cheeses exceptional. We were warmly welcomed and had a great lunch here. The cheese platter was spectacular with the cheeses having a very strong and beautifully ripened taste, cannot recommend highly enough. The food is not culinarily exceptional but good local fare that was prepared fast and with great taste.

My friends and I were visiting Pals for a quick stop, and tried this restaurant. Omg, this place is a hidden gem! Black paella is the best with soft squid and not too salty sauce. Sangria is awesome. Seven of us left with full stomach and wasn't too pricey. Definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Pals.
Dami C — Google review
They couldn't seat 7, but found us neighbouring tables for 4 and 3.. and did everything they could to give us some of the most delicious uncomplicated food I have ever tasted, with beautiful wine and dessert to follow. The service was superb in every respect, friendly and full of enthusiasm for the food and the experience. Loved this place. Thank you!!

Great location, great food and more than fair quality - price relation. They use local products and cook all kind of tasty traditional Catalan dishes. The caldereta and entrecot are definitely two outstanding options of a la carte. They also offer a menu rice option for a good price. Portions are big. The service was attentive and all waiters were nice from the very beginning. Important recommendation - book before going there. It gets full quick and you might need to wait if you don’t have a reservation.

Such a gem!!! the location is absolutely stunning... and the food was amazing! We ordered: turffle fries, cheese, ribs, chicken (so flavorful). Absolutely recommended!
Javiera M — Google review
We visited this restaurant as a group of 15 (7 adults and several kids). Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. First, it took far too long to get our drinks and place our food order. The kids were served first (which is fine), but for the adults, four plates arrived first and the remaining three came 20 minutes later, meaning we couldn’t eat together as a group. The worst part was the barbecue. The meat we received was clearly not in good condition — it had an unpleasant taste and seemed spoiled. We informed the server, who took the food away, but the chef insisted it was fine. This was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the cheesecake we ordered for dessert was completely melted. It was obvious to us that the fridge was not working properly, which would explain both the poor state of the meat and the dessert. Overall, we left with the strong impression that the food safety and service standards at this restaurant are well below acceptable levels. We cannot recommend it.

Great place. The corvina cold appetizer was amazing. The solomillo was ok - they over cooked it but it may have been my Spanish as it is not good yet …. Great venue. Quick (good and bad) service. Ok wine list. Plenty of parking. . Great for kids and I will 100% be back! Thank you ….

A gentle place for lunch, not easy to find because set deep into the woods, but worth the effort. Staff were very welcoming and the food was excellent -- we each had an amazing tomato salad, and then the fish from the market, done on the barbecue, recommended.
Sooty A — Google review
The location is truly amazing, but our experience was kind of dissapointing. The food is quite OK. Unfortunately only one of the staff members was approachable and friendly. The others really acted like they didn’t care. No eye contact, not checking in if everything was okay. We commented on this lack of hospitality and the explanation was that one waiter had a bad night and it’s also the end of the season. That is not what hospitality is about; a guest should not experience bad vibes because of personal issues or because the season has almost come to an end.
Inge C — Google review
Amazing food in a beautiful location amongst the trees. All the food is cooked over fire or smoke and you can really taste it. The ribs were delicious, fantastic flavour and the meat fell entirely off the bone. We also had the entrecôte which again had a great charcoal grilled flavour. The sides were also very good including bravas and the provolone. The service was attentive, they spoke Spanish English and French and the food came out in good time. The setting is in the forrest amongst the trees with most tables outside and few inside on a veranda. The way they have used the space gives a unique and relaxed atmosphere that we really enjoyed. The bill came to €76 for 2 people for more food than we could eat and a few drinks, which is great value considering the quality. So overall a genuine 5/5, excellent!

Not for me . I ate here yesterday and didn’t enjoy it. Pretty sure they use sous-vide for everything — the meat had that weirdly soft, almost boiled texture, and lacked any real flavor . Maybe tourists don’t notice, but if you care about how meat should taste, this isn’t the place. Staff were friendly and the location’s nice, but the food just didn’t do it for me.
Jj D — Google review
The first 15 minutes were excellent, but afterwards the difference in service between staff members became noticeable. After our starters, (please try the tartare) the service went downhill. When I asked about it, the explanation given was that one of the staff hadn’t slept well and the whole team was tired from the busy season. In my opinion, that’s not something guests should feel. That said, the food itself was really good. One staff member, Ainhoa, stood out with a personality fit for hospitality and kindness. (Especially towards children.) Make her (floor) manager and have her set the bar for the rest of the team and you’ll be fine.

The family had a fantastic time at Costa Brava Parc Aventura. The staff was extremely friendly and communicated well, ensuring a thorough safety briefing. Free parking is available, and there are picnic tables and a small shop on site. It's highly recommended for an enjoyable experience on hot days, as the park provides ample shade. The staff is helpful, and the zip lines are exciting with good equipment. There are also tracks suitable for kids over 6 years old.
Excellent experience with the family here. Very friendly staff who were very communicative (English speaking) and ensured the instructional/safety briefing was comprehensively delivered. Parking is free. There are a few picnic tables and and small snack/drink shop on site. Highly recommended.

Great high ropes adventure in the woods around Pals. Our kids spent over two hours up there. Loads of different kinds of walkways and zip wires at a variety of heights for different ages and levels of bravery! Nice little bar to get a drink while you wait or recover! Staff were really great. Spoke good English and were so helpful with everything. A really friendly place and lots of fun for adults and kids!

If you want to have fun on hots days this definitely the place. Everything is under shadow, the staff is friendly and helpful, zip lines are fun and well equipped. There are tracks for kids under 120 cm but definitely better for kids over 6 years. A little bit pricey but worth the fun.
Raphael R — Google review
Situated in a lovely pine wood, this park is well run and provides interesting and exciting 'tree top' courses with several long tirolineas (zip wires). The safety systems seem to be very effective and fool proof ensuring that one end of the safety harness must always be secured to the structure. There is a course for young children which the younger members of the family much enjoyed when they were little. The prices might seem somewhat steep but they do include close monitoring and initial training by the staff.

Mirador d'en Josep Pla “el Pedró” is a beautiful lookout located in the charming town of Pals, Costa Brava. It offers generous and spectacular views of the surrounding area and is a perfect spot to witness breathtaking sunsets. The viewpoint is dedicated to Josep Pla, a renowned Catalan writer with close ties to the Emporda region. Catholic church
Església de Sant Pere is a historic church located in the oldest city in Catalonia. The 12th-century bell tower and four large 14th-century towers are the only remnants of the original fortifications. The church features late Romanesque architecture with Gothic elements, creating a warm and beautiful atmosphere with colorful windows and beautiful paintings. Visitors recommend a visit to this well-preserved, not overly ornate church for its peaceful ambiance and fantastic views of the surrounding area.
Visited on a Monday morning in late May. We had a great visit here. It was thankfully not terribly busy though there were still plenty of people about. It’s a lovely old church. Sturdy, not overly ornate. The church seems well preserved overall, very clean too. Unless you’re really into you’re history and want to spend a lot of time here, I think it’s the kind of site that can be done in a morning or part of an afternoon. We would definitely recommend a visit here if you are in the vicinity.

Torre de les Hores is a tower located in the highest part of the old town of Pals. It offers a well-preserved and clean look, providing a nice panoramic view of the city from the top. The surrounding area is charming, with tidy buildings and streets that make it feel like walking back in time. While there may not be much to do at the tower itself, visiting the old part of Pals can be quite enjoyable with its shops and beautiful views.
One of the nicest places in the Emporda region! A walk through the old town of Pals really transfers you back in former times. Nice and small shops, unfortunately the cafes and restaurants are not really worth a visit. You find better places in the city outside the historic centre.
Juergen T — Google review
It is a tall, round tower built on a circular plan, the last remaining part of the former Castell de Pals, a castle whose existence is documented as far back as the year 889. This fortification was completely destroyed during the Catalan civil wars in the 14th and 15th centuries, and stones from the ruins were later reused in the reconstruction of the local church and nearby houses. Towering over the old town of Pals, the Torre de les Hores (Tower of the Hours) stands 15 meters high and 7 meters in diameter. Its name comes from the clock that was installed on the belfry added to the top of the tower in the 15th century. At the foot of the tower, you can still see the remains of Visigothic-era tombs, offering a glimpse into the region's deep and layered history. Its free entry, beautiful views from the top and also old clock mechanism to be seen inside of the tower

Restaurant El Pedró is a highly recommended dining spot in Pals, known for its classic local rice and seafood dishes served in an old-world stone building with a courtyard. The menu features traditional dishes with a modern twist, all made with high-quality ingredients. With prices around 10 euros for starters, 13 euros for main courses, and the famous Pals rice at 16.50 euros, it offers great value for money.
Food was above delicious, it was just a great experience. Catalan food, very well done, tasty and delicious. Portions were very generous and very well presented. Service was very professional, and dishes came pretty fast even though the restaurant was pretty full. We were a party of six so we had a very comfortable round table in a private room. Views of Pals are just beautiful, a medieval village up in a hill surrounded by small mountains and forest and fields. Can’t miss it!

Exactly what you dream of in a picturesque stone village in Spain! The space is in a quiet little corner of the old town, the patio space is very ambient. Inside is very cute too! Food was lovely. A bit pricy for Spain but for the experience in Pals I would say was worth it. Definitely a bit higher end. Would totally come back!

A gem in Pals. Stunning building with seating inside and out. We were a group of 8 and had a private side room with air con which was a delight in the hot weather. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent and could not have been made feel more welcome, including the children and providing to their needs. The menu has a great selection of meat and fish and we ordered a variety of food including lamb, sea bass, cannelloni and salads and it was all so fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend El Pedro for a top class meal.

I was totale not sure, if it‘s a good idea to go to the restaurant in a very touristic place. But after burger place we checked before this option looked better anyway. And I have to say all was good. We were lucky to get a table without reservation. They do have a lot of waiters, but this is not that kind of exhausting service when you can not put a spoon to your mouth without been asking if you are satisfied. All waiters were really friendly and super helpful. They did share their opinion honestly and offered you dishes with love. It’s super rare. Food was very good. Side dishes were fresh - not killed vegetables or boring free - grilled variety of everything, asparagus and great baked potato. Unfortunately we had zero space for sweets, but next time we will try it for sure! Strongly recommend to visit. Great service. Brilliant building. Super fair pricing in comparison with other places around. Better to book a table in advance.
Ksenia K — Google review
The service is very good. Everthing is good except the food. The food is terrible: the grilled food is cold. The vegetables is also cold, stale and not fresh. The vegetables looks like overnight leftover food. The grilled beef has bitter charcoal on the surface but raw inside. The surface is overcooked. The inside is undercooked.

Vicus Restaurant is an elegant establishment in Pals, Catalonia, offering contemporary Catalan sharing plates. Founded by Elisabet Figuerola and Gerard Geli in 2011, the restaurant showcases a modern twist on traditional Catalan cuisine. Head chef Damia Rafecas creates artfully styled dishes like rack of lamb with vanilla and parmesan, and fillet of venison with pumpkin tatin.
Really good food from the Region with local corresponding wine. Good service. - we had a wonderful time. 👍
Gregor S — Google review
Vicus was an unforgettable experience. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, impeccable service. We were treated with warmth and kindness, with all staff being incredibly nice, patient, and considerate. They served a dish of sautéed local wild mushrooms that blew my mind. The cannelloni with prawns was a fresh, tasteful dish with depth and vibrancy. Even the hot sandwich with jamon, cheese, and truffle, a dish I was surprised to see amongst the rest of the sophisticated menu, was a carefully considered take on street food that raised the ceiling on what I thought a panini could be. Finally, the black rice with squid was complex and full, exhibiting a mastery of extracting the flavor from the fish into the black rice which featured a more saucy texture than traditional paella. Even the bread was impeccable, like bread you would get at expensive Parisian restaurants, and the staff brought us an appetizing first dish with anchovy-stuffed olives that was mind-blowing. On top of all this, they were considerate of my partner’s nut allergy, giving us a full allergen menu ahead of time and making sure to cater to her needs. On top of all this, Vicus is in Pals, a sleepy farming town that felt like I was being transported back to medieval times. Choose Vicus, this place was absolutely stunning.
Owen Q — Google review
I had high expectations for this place. The ambiance was great, and the staff was professional. However, I was a bit disappointed by the tomato salad and aubergine dish. The paella, on the other hand, was good, and they have a great wine selection.

This restaurant is a real jewel with an inventive menu, great service, a lovely atmosphere and most importantly of all great food. We have now been on 5 or 6 occasions and never been disappointed. The deserts are so good we now always take 3 to share between 2.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Vicus! Beautiful understated decor in the front room with lovely classic accents (check out the gorgeous old bar). The service was nothing short of perfect. Relaxed, friendly, but also hugely helpful with my wife's allergy and a great wine recommendation. The food was superb throughout. Standout were the rice with pork ribs, the fresh tomato/melon salad and the smoky aubergine/eel dish, but everything was fresh and excellent. Couldn't have been happier, thank you!
Holger L — Google review
A delightful meal prepared with finesse. We ordered to share the aubergine with smoked eel, brioche with spicy tuna, razor clams with carrot puree, and black rice with squid. All dishes were excellent, flavours well balanced, with perhaps the razor clams dish needing a bit of zest/acidity. My favourite and recommendation would be the brioche with spicy tuna. Service was impeccable and I loved the olives stuffed with anchovies that started off the meal.
Adrian L — Google review
The food was amazing, and the service was great. I had an allergy and the restaurant was extremely nice - they provided a detailed allergen menu and they were very happy to adapt the dishes to meet my allergy requirements! I think they deserve one star Michelin to be honest!!!

I enjoyed a superb meal here as a solo diner. They prepared half portions of some of the smaller dishes so that I could try a variety of things. The highlights for me were the mackerel, black rice, and lemon custard dessert; but everything was good, and the service excellent. Try this restaurant.

(Translated by Google) Restaurant designed for locals and tourists. The food is good, but nothing out of this world. The prices are outrageous: a tomato salad (1 tomato and that's it) with a little cheese €12? It seems like they're kidding you. The comments that say it's the best food they've ever tasted, I think they've never tasted a tomato or vegetable from the garden. The price-quality ratio is very weak, since for what you pay the quantities are very small. We went there with a group of 5, and after ordering, the waiter told us that we had ordered little food, that "the ideal is to order a starter and a main course per person", and now... The bread they serve you is a bread similar to Moroccan bread, which they charge more than €2 for a 1/4 loaf portion (without indicating it anywhere) when you can buy a whole loaf for €1 and a little. And the desserts (like almost everything right now) are very expensive, but charging €7 for 1 and a half scoops of ice cream (look at the photos) seems insulting to me. The space is beautiful and curious, hidden among reeds and away from everything, the only thing that makes it worthwhile. For the same price (€35/person approx) you can eat in other better places and not go hungry. The waiters are not too friendly either, I would say that a correct treatment is enough. As other comments say, you can only pay in cash, they don't give you a receipt, and the bill is a handwritten sheet that you can't take with you. We won't repeat it. No repetirem pas.

(Translated by Google) We went for dinner as a group of 6 people and the experience was really disappointing in terms of service. Among the dishes we ordered, one was a hamburger (one of the few options they offer), but it was so extremely salty that it was inedible. In addition, the meat had a very bad taste, clearly in bad condition. We notified the waiter and asked him to change it, but his reaction was reluctant, with a very bad attitude. He took the plate, but never brought a replacement. The most surprising thing was that, when the bill arrived, the hamburger still appeared charged! We complained, quite rightly, but the waiter insisted that it had to be paid. Finally, he even called the owner and passed the call to us to convince us that we had to pay. A surreal and unacceptable situation: bad food, worse attention and zero willingness to resolve an obvious error. We will definitely not be going back and would not recommend it to anyone. To top it off, you could only pay in cash and you couldn't take the ticket with you. It cost us €290 between 6 people.

(Translated by Google) Well-kept and beautiful place. Reasonable prices, and I don't argue with the cash system—to each their own. Quality food. I argue a lot about not taking calls and not wanting to make reservations. If you don't want to be found, don't search on Google Maps. If you want a very select, niche clientele, I'd say Barcelona's Upper East Side isn't exactly a group of independent avant-garde artists. Note: Exclusivity doesn't have to be at odds with friendliness. Thank you, and goodbye. (Original) Lugar bien cuidado y bonito.
