Amazing service from purchasing the tickets to the self service restaurant to the top. We went with kids to enjoy the view and the kid's park up! Recommend for families!

A well-prepared place both: for learning skiing for the youngest and for going on various routes. And you must visit the plane :)
Sebastian S — Google review
In the winter months perfect skiing while in the summer this side of the mountain is reserved for mountain biking. There are few hiking trails but not as fun as mountain biking.
Irina M — Google review
It says open u til 5pm. Arrived 447 at the lift and they said they are shut already. It is misleading information - if last up is 445 then opening hours should state 445. Better half of the bike park is closed and half of the village is in construction this year… would recommend to head to sölden instead. Shame as the new lift would make riding much more pleasant without having to manoeuvre every time not to damage forks and frames.
Natalia N — Google review
Very, very nice Bikepark. A lot of Enduro and Downhill Trails. The expert trails are really for experts. The black-lines and some red-lines are very demanding. I love the Mottolino Fun Mountain and I‘ll be back for sure.

Very cheap food prepared and served by a friendly hostess: a plate of stew with polenta slices, sausage, piece of cheese, wine and water for only €13 each. A gentle walk up to the place too.

Relatively small ski resort, not crowded, well maintained, free parking. Good for families with bigger children and not complete beginners (many J-lifts and T-lifts and only red slope to return to the parking lot). Several attractions for kids, family bob rather expensive (kids need to pay full price)

Torri di Fraele is a serene and picturesque destination located within the Stelvio National Park. The journey to this site begins in Arnoga village and leads to Passo Torri di Fraele, offering a pleasant walk along the Decauville path. The highlight of the area is the two towers dating back to 1391, which were originally part of a defensive structure guarding the valley access.
One of them is open, and there is an exhibition regarding the towers. The place is very nice, the view from the towers to the valley below and the road with the hairpins is magnificent.
Vlassis G — Google review
Climb by racing bike is good, but the road is pretty rough. It's not to long or steep, good for a easy day on the bike. The lakes aren't really worth visiting in my opinion.
Rick P — Google review
Two towers built around 1391. The towers were originally part of a larger defensive structure, aimed at defending access to the valley. Nothing remains of this plant, except the two towers, although in a state of ruin. The towers were built using stone present in the immediate vicinity and have a quadrangular shape with thick walls.

Nice climb; not very steep and pretty even grade. Not so busy as famous climbs around Bormio. Nice view of hairpins.

Amazing restaurant in the middle of Livigno. Came here specifically for the Pizzoccheri, which did not disappoint! The affogato & complimentary bread with homemade butter were also very nice. Service and ambiance within the restaurant were really nice, Special thanks to Martina for the great service! Next time I'm in Livigno I will definitely return!
Julien W — Google review
Ristorante La Pòsa is a cozy and charming spot in a quieter part of Livigno centre, perfect for enjoying authentic Italian and local Valtellina cuisine, with a lovely rustic interior that adds to the experience. Traditional dishes are all beautifully presented and there is a great selection of wines. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are fair for the quality and setting. Highly recommended for a relaxing lunch or dinner after a day on the slopes or exploring the town.
Oleh F — Google review
A rather disappointing lunch given the high ratings. The pizzoccheri is less than lukewarm instead of hot, even being served in a stone pot. We are fans of pizzoccheri and have eaten in many different places in Valtellina but this pizzoccheri is lack of flavour, specifically little signs of sage butter and garlic. Desserts are nicely presented but not a wow. We saw the chef/owner walked pass our table a few times, without an interest to greet. Umm, not a must but a nod is not too difficult as a restaurateur to make guests feel more welcoming, I believe.
Juliana — Google review
We had the vegan menu combined with the wine tasting menu and it was amazing. With extra compliments to the barman who made the experience extra enjoyable. Definitely recommendable for people interested in vegan food as they have a lot of vegan options to choose from!

A good experience in general, everything was very good. I just don't recommend the venison wellington the sauce is not Made properly, and we ordered it medium and it arrived room temperature and raw.

5 star restaurant in Livigno. This is my second time in Livigno and so far La Posa has been the best restaurant. Traditional cuisine with a flavor of innovation. The staff is very attentive and it creates a very friendly atmosphere. Must to try are Pizzoccheri - by far the best I ever had in my life. Also interesting the choice of basil ice cream between starter and main course. Last but not least, gifted sweets together with coffee. Thank you La Posa, it has been a true Valtellinese experience!

Francesca S — Google review
(Translated by Google) I would like to point out that I cannot evaluate the rooms as we only had dinner. As for the food, my overall rating is sufficient but nothing special. Starter was good and of good quality but the portions were a little small. We're not sloppy. They were very greasy, lukewarm and had a slightly burnt taste. In my opinion the oil was old. The pizzoccheri were quite good. The pasta was OK except that here too they were lukewarm and the portion was small. Maybe a little butter was missing. The second course (polenta and stew) was good. Also for this reason lukewarm and then as far as I'm concerned not indicated on the menu after the dishes offered. The service was fine. The lady was really kind. The panoramic position is truly beautiful. The price is so-so. In the end the adults spent 40 and the children 30 taking house wine in bulk and no bitters at the end. If you go to eat I don't know otherwise ok! The problem is that in the Bormio area it is really difficult. All tourist places with very low quality compared to neighboring countries. Secondo me l'olio era vecchio. I pizzoccheri erano abbastanza buoni.

La Piöda is a charming restaurant located in Valdidentro, offering inventive Italian cuisine with global influences and a selection of regional wines. The rustic stone-and-timber interior adds to the cozy atmosphere. Situated near the impressive Cima Piazzi glacier, this eatery is among the top dining options in the area. With its delightful menu, La Piöda promises an exceptional culinary experience for visitors exploring Valdidentro.
I had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant. Where to start from. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant. The restaurant's design and furniture are extremely nice, with the typical Livigno style, all in wood (we stayed in the dining room inside). The food is superb, very tasty, but a bit heavy. So, don't exaggerate in ordering dishes, as you'll quickly get full. Luckily the waiter (Francesco), recommended us to remove one main course. The list of wines is very comprehensive. Let the waiter recommend the right bottle based on your dishes. The service is extremely attentive and professional. Overall, highly recommended. I will certainly be back! A real gem in Livigno.

I mean...when we arrived we were like hmm why it is empty. We realized they open at 18:30 (we arrived at 18:35). After one hour it was completely full. First we ordered only one meal but we changed our minds and ordered whole menu for 62€. Let me tell you, the best meal I ever had. The service was perfect, food was perfect - taste and presentation. Atmosfere beautiful... with absolutly no regrets - 5 stars.

I m in Livigno for 6 days, I decide to come to ate at restaurant La Pioda, the best decision of my life. I did booked in advance, thinking that there would be very busy, but actually we been very lucky, the dining room called Cristal room, it was empty but the staff warmed it up for us, making a very nice and comfortable atmosphere for us. When the staff saw us taking pictures, they joined to help us, in the end making pictures all together and laughing. They are all amazing, and the restaurant it’s very luxurious. Now let’s say about the food. All the taste and texture amazing and delicious, I know Italian food never disappoint, but this restaurant it’s 10/10. The portions are incredible big size, very good cooked, very aromatic all. I did like the dessert tiramisu most.. i really recommend this restaurant, the prices are very affordable and right for all their work professional and service.

We had lunch here and it was just an amazing lunch experience. The place was nice and cozy. We were seated by the window so it made it better. The food was amazing! The best lamb ribs (costolette di agnello) of my life. It was soft, tender, juicy and tasty. I followed the suggestion of the server, medium rare. It’s the best! I also appreciated a lot the free bread (6 types and all amazing) served with the butter with alici. Ottimo! The dessert was also very good. They have gluten free cake which I love. And the service was impeccable. Was served by Francesco and he was very professional, polite and kind. Would come back here over and over whenever we go in Livigno. Also important to take note that price vs quality and service is acceptable.

Professional servis and great atmosphere. Higher prices but still reasonable. Sommelier offered us substitution of the soled red wine at the same price level and his offer was great.

Food is absolutely outstanding and the place is with amazing vibe too! Service depends on people on the shift and how big will potentially your bill be. Ladies are amazing, and preparation of wine wad very proffesional, thank you. We will come back and I am sure service will improve as I see that restaurant reacts to comments.

Nice, clean and enjoyable enviroment. Enjoyed very much the warm water swimming pool and jacuzzi observing fantastic view of snowy mountains in front. Isnt that cool? Lunch time went to the restaurant inside which is also accessible to people from tge street. So, I felt quite awkward sitting there with wet hair wearing wardrobe while others were dressed usual. Food and service was good though. Loved the experience. Recommend it!

Very minimal and simple, clean. But looks like too small areas and no control for how many people can stay at a time - we were not in high season but all places were more than full. Hard to even find a spot to chill. Only adults area is even smaller so too crowded, area for everybody full with children and grown ups, i mean full - no edge of the pools was free to chill. Overal it is nice and very basic, but compaired to other places - little bit disapointing :)
Gerda Ž — Google review
The pools are not warm enough to give the relaxing feeling a termal bath should, and the sauna is no different, more like the hot relaxing room you chill in between having a proper sauna session. The staff are running around and micromanaging everyone, in a rude way reminding of all the rules has to be obeyed at all times. Its not a welcome feeling. And considering the 50euro we payed it feelt like a robbery, considering how little you actually get.
Andreas U — Google review
Amazing and unforgettable, strongly recommended. There are several different pools with warm water, each one with different panoramic views in different floors. There are a lot of facilities for the families and their children to enjoy even for the whole day. In addition to that, there are also many different water message categories and trying all of them is really something. There is a semi Olympics pool for those who may feel the need of a bit more professional expectations. Last but not least, the covid measures are controlled and you have to have a green pass to enter.
Salman K — Google review
In the spa, there is only one finish sauna and one steam. A relaxation zone is put together with a playground for a children. There is an obligation to wear a cap. There is no pool with really thermal water.

Each mineral tells a discovery made by Mr. Edy, an extraordinary, competent person and deeply in love with his work. It is a place that deserves much more visibility, it's a shame that it is not yet adequately recognized by the Municipality of Bormio and at a national level. The jewels and mining works of art created by Edy are splendid, as he also creates pieces on request, always with great care and skill. It is truly beautiful, it really deserves to be seen and experienced to the full. To best visit the museum I recommend calling the day before. (Translated by Google) I visited the Civic Museum of Bormio on August 13th. thanks to a brochure found in the hotel where I was staying. Arranged on three floors of an ancient building, this museum will give you the opportunity to see old agricultural tools, woodworking machinery, horse-drawn carriages, kitchen utensils, pairs of wooden skis, typical local clothes etc. It is really worth visiting because the complete tour lasts less than an hour while the cost of entry is incredibly low: only €5 per person. I recommend it to all those parents who want to introduce their children to traditions and customs of the past. (Translated by Google) VERY BEAUTIFUL AND INTERESTING experience A blast from the past that despite the snow...warms the heart! Oh yes, because at the beginning it didn't seem to promise who knows what... it was "just" a civic museum. And instead….WOW!!! The first two rooms mainly contained religious material donated by the citizens and the noble family of the palace but then…. Crafts, artisanal tools, objects, clothes and ancient passions that made us relive what was the everyday life of the inhabitants of these mountains. Tools for weaving wool, making cheese and making cured meats. A room with vintage carriages and stagecoaches, another that reproduced a kitchen with all the tools obtained from artisanal workmanship, yet another with a large loom and sewing machines that perhaps we had only seen in our grandmothers and also tools of the cobblers (cobblers) Very kind lady at the reception. The only small flaw in the middle of two rooms of the historic building: the exhibition of Linus who, although an important author, seemed very out of context. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! CONSIGLIATISSIMO!

After a heavy ride we were tired, and hungry so they kindly let us in just before opening. The food was gorgeous and very well presented. Very good service and great food. We started with the carpaccio of shrimp, then the typical pasta from the region and another pasta with cervo di ragu, then the lamb with lentils. And we finish with the chocolate sphere and coffee. All of that plus wine and coffee we paid 108 euros in two. I think the price was fair for the quantity and quality of food. I super recommend the pasta al ragu di cervo and the carpaccio di gamberi ! ( the pics I'll post is half portion because we divided everything in 2)

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Chiesa Madre di Santa Maria Nascente. Not quite as popular as Torri di Fraele, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Centro Italiano Sleddog Husky Village was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and passionate about their beautiful huskies. The sled ride itself was an incredible experience—gliding through the snowy landscapes with these energetic and well-cared-for dogs was both thrilling and serene. The huskies were friendly, well-trained, and clearly loved what they were doing. After the ride, we had the chance to interact with the dogs, learn more about their training, and appreciate the dedication that goes into their care. The entire experience was well-organized, safe, and filled with adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and exciting winter activity! We’ll definitely be back.

Husky Village Dog Sledding was an absolutely magical experience! The owners were kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating, even waiting for me when we got stuck on the one-way tunnel from Switzerland. 🐾 The sleds are well-maintained, and GoPros are available for rent, making it perfect for capturing every unforgettable moment. Between the stunning scenery, the friendly huskies, and the expert guidance, this adventure is truly a travel content creator’s dream — exhilarating, scenic, and unforgettable. ❄️

Unforgettable experience. Many thanks for all team member there. The booking process was well explained by Elena, many thanks for her. And our team guide was Lorenzo he explained how to drive the cart well, and he also was supporting others during the ride and encourage them. The price for adult was 160€ and child 90€. Adult can either drive or sit with instructor, but children only they can sit with instructor. For people how are they driving the cart is not allowed to take photos, but they price includes a package with photo with a photographer and it is included in the price.

Our visit to Centro Italiano Husky Village in Valdidentro, Arnoga ( April 2025 ) was nothing short of magical! Getting to Husky village was simple; we took the bus ( from the bus station ) to Bormio from Livigno for just 4 euros and a 35 minute journey through some mountain roads.  From the Arnoga bus stop a short  5-7 minute walk led us to this hidden gem which is signposted making it well worth the journey! From beginning to end, the experience was perfectly organised, fun-filled, and heartwarming. The team made up of Elena, Lorenzo, Luca, and the rest of the staff made us feel truly welcome, displaying an impressive level of attentiveness and customer service that elevated our adventure beyond expectations. The initial briefing is around 10 minutes long, instructing you on how to control the sledge, followed by around 20 minutes of an adrenalin filled adventure along a mountain path, led by 3 huskies per sledge. As visitirs from London, England, one of the highlights of the visit was watching my five-year-old son gleefully participate! Thanks to the instructor-led cart, he was able to sit and enjoy the ride safely, absorbing the thrill of the husky sledding experience without missing out on the fun whilst I rode in a cart behind him. On arrival, the barking huskies may feel intimidating but they were so obedient and they were tame enough for us to stroke after the session, which made the interaction even more special. A fantastic touch was Lorenzo’s expert photography throughout our experience. His skill in capturing the action and emotions allowed us to relive our adventure through stunning images—priceless souvenirs that we’ll cherish forever. To top it all off, Elena’s kindness shone through when she invited us to share some delicious local food following our excursion. It was an unexpected but delightful addition, making the experience feel even more authentic and warm. Finally,  Luca, so kind, made sure that we were able to reach our resort safely follwing the experience which was hugely appreciated. In summary, Centro Italiano Husky Village, Valdidentro is an absolute must for families, adventure-seekers, and dog lovers alike. The seamless organisation, amazing staff, and breathtaking setting against a stunning mountain backdrop made this an experience we’ll remember for a lifetime

Santa Maria Nascente, also known as the Church of S. Maria di Livigno, is a historic parish church located in Livigno. The construction of the church began in 1884 and was completed in 1887, replacing the original fifteenth-century building. The bell tower is even older and adds to the historical charm of the site.

We arrived convinced we were booking e-bikes to venture onto the trails, but once we arrived we discovered that no bicycles were available anymore. We had lost heart a little but we immediately changed our minds because the valley is wonderful even savored step by step. We went up from Baita Caricc and continued passing among the rocks of the landslide to then arrive at Lake Viola, recover with a coffee (cake and a delicious 🫐 blueberry grappa!) after the packed lunch and set off again going down the dirt road. Nestled beneath the majestic Cima Piazzi, Ferriera Corneliani offers a captivating glimpse into the region's rich history intertwined with its stunning natural beauty. This site, once a bustling iron production hub established in 1852 by the Corneliani company, showcases remnants of an era when iron extraction thrived in the Fraele valley. The Premadio smelting furnaces were built in 1852 by the Corneliani company of Milan which also obtained the concession for the exploitation of iron mines for fifty years. Around 1870, interest in the iron industry in the Bormio area waned due to excessive extraction and transport costs and the furnaces stopped working. The ancient ironworks, recently restored and enhanced with exhibitions and exhibitions, constitute an important example of industrial archeology in Alta Valtellina. Outside there is a welcoming and well-kept playground for the little ones. (Translated by Google) The "Ferriere di Premadio" were built in 1852 by the Corneliani company and was the first factory in the area to abandon the ancient manufacturing techniques. The plant consisted of the blast furnace and 6 other blocks to which, in 1895, a small power station was added which supplied energy to the "Vecchi" and "Nuovi" Baths. The plant operated for 8 months of the year and employed 400-500 people, the majority employed in cutting trees, transporting and packaging coal. Fewer people were employed in the extraction and transport of the mineral, which took place in the tunnels (in panniers and galleys), on the surface (with buckets and sleds) and in recent years with two funiculars. The ovens worked with wood and the blast furnace with wood and coal. In the most prosperous years (from 1856 to 1859) the plant was capable of producing up to 6-7 tons of material, the result of processing over 15 tons of ore per day. The iron produced was mainly directed to the Milan area and, to a lesser extent, to Tyrol. In 1875 the factory ceased to function due to the opposition of the municipalities in the area who wanted to preserve the area from massive deforestation, as well as the increase in the price of transport, which made it uncompetitive. Today it is an example of industrial archeology and the only nineteenth-century oven that has not undergone any reconversion (Original) Le "Ferriere di Premadio" furono costruite nel 1852 dalla ditta Corneliani e fu il primo stabilimento nell'area ad abbandonare le antiche tecniche di lavorazione. I forni funzionavano a legna e l'altoforno a legna e carbone.

Passo dello Stelvio / Stilfser Joch - Ski area

4.8
(82)
Ski resort
Passo dello Stelvio is a renowned ski area in the Alps, attracting skiers from May to November, offering summer skiing opportunities. It is situated between the two highest peaks, Passo and Monte Cristallo, where Italian ski champions train. The glacier features 4 T-bar lifts and ample parking spaces. However, there are limited dining options on the glacier itself. Visitors recommend using All Mountain skis due to the snow conditions.
The Stelvio Pass is a mountain pass in northern Italy bordering Switzerland at an elevation of 2,757 m (9,045 ft) above sea level. It is the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps, and the second highest in the Alps, 7 m (23 ft) below France's Col de l'Iseran (2,764 m (9,068 ft)).

Driving up the Stelvio pass is an exhilirating experience. Alpine vews and of course seeing the glacier is special. The atmposhere is very nice at the town and the cafe Tibet is the place to eat and get a drink. Prices are fair. Quality of food and rinks is very good. For bikers; I recommend starting before 8am. Most traffic starts a little later and then it is congested. We also went summer skiing (end June). The conditions are good at the top, but lower down it is slush... also lots of queueing for just very short runs. But for a unique skiing experience it's worth the effort. At the other side heading to Bormio, half way down the hill, the QC Terme Spa at Bagni Vecchi is EXCELLENT!!!

Spas & Wellness
QC Terme Bagni di Bormio Bagni Nuovi is an elegant lodging housed in an art nouveau building, offering fine dining, a modern spa, and complimentary breakfast. Guests can enjoy the thermal area and massages, with special mentions for the bright mornings provided by Orietta from the restaurant. The hotel's reception, spa, cleaning services, and buffet have all been praised for their kindness. This destination is perfect for those seeking a charming retreat in Bormio.
We've been here with extended family and a child and really enjoyed it. The hotel manager and staff were also very kind and helpful — I forgot my tablet in the room, and they did everything they could to make it easy for me to get it back. In general, I think this place fits best for couples rather than a family but that didn't impact us in a bad way. I'd recommend it for a romantic getaway with your partner.

Still a nice place for a weekend but lost a lot compared with few years ago. Crowded, noisy big groups… Rooms still nice, new areas to relax. Restaurant menu below expectations and definitely not deserving 5 stars as the hotel.

Bloody brilliant! We stayed one night and fell in love. Amazing facilities, with many to enjoy. Staff was exemplary, like Nicole at reception and Fuat from Sivas in restaurant, we were well attended. This place is massive, pristinely clean. Breakfast, dinner and Aperetivo well above our expectations. Very relaxing. We’ll be back! Grazie mille 🙏

Top notch hotel. Very beautiful with a really lovely spa. I got the best massage ever and the staff at reception and the bar were brilliant!

I’ve also been to QC Terme in Chamonix and San Pellegrino, both excellent, but the one in Bormio stands out for its wide variety of pools and outdoor paths, as well as its unique mountain views. What I appreciated the most is the intimate atmosphere, much more private compared to other spas in the group. Among all of them, I especially recommend Bormio for a couple’s day out, as it offers the most romantic setting.
Ayo F — Google review
The area is unbelievably scenic. The spa complex is huge and very good. However the hotel itself is pretty medicare, especially since it claims to have five stars. What makes a good five-star experience? Feeling special being their guest. It’s not at all the case with this hotel. The staff doesn't look particularly friendly or welcoming—not much smiling or nice words in general. We’ve heard “no” too many times from them: Can we sit there? No. Can we move our reservation to the restaurant? No. Can we eat now? No. Is the bar open? No. Does the bar have snacks? No. Etc., etc. All in all, if you’re a fan of the area (and believe me, you should be) and want to spend some time there, maybe a cheaper option won’t make you feel cheated. If you love QC spas (as my wife and I do), you can always drop by Bagni Nuovi’s spa without living in the hotel.

My recent visit to QC Terme Bagni Nuovi was an unforgettable and regenerating experience. Located in a breathtaking alpine landscape, these spas offer a perfect balance between luxury, well-being and nature. The QC Terme Bagni Nuovi are immersed in an enchanting natural context, surrounded by the mountains of the Stelvio National Park. The view is simply spectacular and contributes to creating an atmosphere of peace and serenity that is perceived from the first moment. The thermal path is extremely varied and includes several swimming pools and tanks, both indoor and outdoor, all fed with natural hot thermal water. Each pool offers a unique experience, from hot tubs to regenerating waterfalls, allowing you to relax completely. The wellness centre is well equipped with saunas, Turkish baths and a wide range of treatments and massages. I tried a relaxing massage that was really regenerating and the staff was extremely professional and courteous. The restaurant of the QC Terme Bagni Nuovi offers a selection of delicious dishes prepared with fresh and high quality ingredients. The kitchen is a mix of tradition and innovation, with particular attention to the presentation of dishes. I particularly appreciated the typical dishes of Valtellina, which were simply exquisite. The QC Terme Bagni Nuovi is a historical place, with a long tradition of wellness. The architecture of the complex is fascinating, with historical details that integrate perfectly with the modern thermal facilities. Every corner of the spa tells a story of care and well-being. The staff is always available and ready to assist at any time. The service is impeccable and attentive, helping to make the experience even more pleasant and relaxing. In conclusion, QC Terme Bagni Nuovi is an ideal place for those looking for relaxation, well-being and authentic contact with nature. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to spend a moment of serenity and regeneration in a unique and fascinating context.

The spa has a decent variety of treatments, and the location is great. However, the entire experience is ruined because it is overbooked. They are trying to accommodate way more people per slot than the capacity. As a result, a luxury like experience felt more like a trip to a crowded water park. In addition to that, the staff was unwelcoming and not attentive

I recently dined at a fantastic restaurant in Livigno, nestled in the stunning Italian Alps. The setting was charming and cozy, perfect after a day in the mountains. The local dishes were absolutely exceptional, capturing the rich flavors of the region. They also offered fresh fish, and it was perfectly prepared—delicate and full of flavor, which felt like such a rare treat up here in the Alps. The combination of regional cuisine and fresh seafood made for an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Livigno!

I've stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. Even if the hotel is newly renovated, and looks quite good, our experience with them was a disaster. It started with the 1-st evening when they did not want to give me a wine glass in order to drink it in my room. 4 of the 6 nights, it was cold in the room, because the heat was not working. Even if I told them the heat is not working, thet explained me it is, like I was stupid. In order to serve dinner, it took more than 1 hour. We has to expect them to serve us more than 1 hour. The breakfast was very poor. All culminated with the fact that when I checked out, and wanted to pay for what I had from the restaurant in the 6 days: I asked at the reception to tell me the amount. When they told me the amount, it seemd too much for me and asked them very politely to show med the bills. In that moment, the german speaking old guy from the reception got extremly angry, I could say even agressive and gave me the bills from all the rooms for 1 week adn asked me to find mine. Of course, I did not start to find it, I payed the amount and sayed bye. For sure I will not go in this hotel again. Not to say: In the morning we were supposed to check out, at 7:30 the cleaning lady entered in our room, coeming near the bed and asking when are we leaving. from 7:30 to 10 when we got out of the room, the clenaing lady came 4 more times in the room. It was a disaster experinece in this hotel. For sure, we'll not go there again !

Restaurant
Ristorante Vecchia Combo is a cozy spot that offers a warm Alpine ski look and serves up delicious Pizzoccheri pasta, meat stews, polenta, and local wines. The restaurant has been in business for over 50 years and is a favorite among both tourists and locals in Bormio.
What can I say about this traditional family restaurant? The most delicious food we’ve ever had in Bormio, Valtellina. 💯👌🥰🤤 Definitely the best restaurant in town! My husband and I went for lunch and ordered some Taroz for antipasto (made with potatoes, green beans, lots of cheese and butter) and some Pizzocheri - primo piatto (both generous portions). The Taroz was delicious and the Pizzocheri was divine! The overall experience: food, service, atmosphere and location is excellent, 100% recommended. This restaurant is usually open for lunch and dinner, but since it’s a bit far from downtown, I would recommend to call and make a reservation. Do not hesitate to check it out! They have a tasting menu starting at 30 euros. We spent 47€ (antipasto, two Pizzocheri, a liter of house wine, water and two espresso coffee) 😲😊 Undoubtedly, a fantastic Valtellinese experience!

Pros. - most of the food is tasty, and the staff is nice and smiling. Cons. - Flies was eating with us, many of them, they are brave entering to the plates. The last pork dish is not tasty - at all. There is no normal English menu. They compensate us with 2 more free desserts, was okay. It was nice local food experiences, but we will not return here, sorry.

Ristoro Conca Bianca is a delightful spot to unwind after an exhilarating day on the slopes. The ambiance is cozy, making it a perfect retreat for skiers looking to indulge in some delicious treats. Their scrumptious cakes are a highlight, and you can also enjoy a variety of options like sandwiches, paninis, and the popular bombardino. Very high prices for the valley, and slow service too. Cappuccino wasn't good. Bit dated inside and blasting out annoying music.
Oliver K — Google review
I really liked this place. It was ok in the way it looked and the cake was scrumptious. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom was downstairs which was incredibly hard to access in ski shoes. Another minor detail was the man (employee I think) that was smoking by the bathrooms which was unpleasant as it was inside so the smoke lingered in the air. Overall, it was a great place to relax and have some cake after a long day of skiing.

Bormio's Bagni Vecchi is a stunning thermal complex located near the town. The old baths offer a unique experience with rock grottoes and outdoor pools, providing a romantic and picturesque setting. Visitors can enjoy the panoramic pool overlooking the Bormio valley and the San Pellegrino cave, carved into the mountain. The thermal pool inside the rock is a standout feature, allowing guests to feel like they're traveling through time.
Very interesting place. Must visit after skiing to relax!

(Translated by Google) I went to Qc Terme Bagni Vecchi Bormio on December 28th. I arrived in the evening at 5.30pm. The spa was sold out even though it wasn't crowded. We had booked. They advised us to do the external tubs first because they closed outside at 8pm and inside at 10.30pm. First hot and spacious outdoor tub with hydromassage, on all sides then from the external staircase we went down (in flip flops among the pebbles it is not the maximum at 0 degrees) and we went to the little house, then we returned and tried all the rooms between saunas and relaxation rooms. a bar room. excellent relaxing experience but a little expensive to pay 54 euros each.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful spa centre. Don't miss the panoramic pool with a view of the Bormio valley and the San Pellegrino cave, entirely dug into the mountain. The complete route takes approximately 3 hours Parking is a bit problematic and if possible avoid going on weekends, especially on Sundays. (Original) Bellissimo centro termale. (Translated by Google) Bagni Vecchi. Thermal complex at the hotel of the same name near Bormio. On the plus side, there is a complex in the rock with grottoes and outdoor pools. Magnificent panorama. Romantic place. Their feature is a thermal pool inside the rock. Thermal cosmetics that you can try in the shower and after (shampoo, hair conditioner, body and face creams). And buy something for yourself. On the other hand, on Friday evening the water was downright dirty, especially in those baths that are in demand at a quite decent price of 45 euros per person. (Original) Bagni Vecchi.

(Translated by Google) Definitely suggestive place: undoubtedly 5 stars. Unfortunately, however, there is no added value for those who purchase a half board package and sleep in the structure compared to those who come on the day. Given the price of the package (in my opinion decidedly exaggerated for what it offers) whoever buys it should at least have access to the spa with much longer opening hours than the daily entrance. But since this isn't the case, you might as well sleep outside and buy a day pass, saving many hundreds of euros. Ps: the luxury dinner (very good) which includes either the second course or dessert and not both is really poor.

(Translated by Google) I went to the old baths for August and I must say I was pleasantly surprised because it wasn't crowded. For the reason already described I had reserved for 11 anyway. There aren't many parking spaces so the later you reach the building the riskier it is not to find a space. Spectacular and dreamlike tubs, they literally make you travel through time. Unfortunately I must admit that I was not happy with the bar service, which is only open from 3.30pm and does not offer good service.

Chiesa di Santo Spirito is a small church with a rich history dating back to 1304. Despite being an empty shell without desks, the remarkable frescoes create an illuminating and somewhat alienating atmosphere, making visitors feel isolated from the town. The church has undergone various transformations over the years and has been completely restored. Its simple architecture is complemented by frescoes of considerable interest, adding to its beauty and well-kept appearance.

Historical landmark
Torre e Palazzo De Simoni is a lesser-known gem in Bormio, off the main tourist path but definitely worth a visit. The seventeenth-century palace was built by the De Simoni family after acquiring the adjacent medieval tower dating back to the 13th century. The tower served as a lookout and secondary access gate to the village. Today, the palace houses the Civic Museum of Bormio, featuring splendid frescoed rooms and a charming garden.

(Translated by Google) Little known, because it is off the main tourist route of Bormio, but worth a visit. This is the seventeenth-century palace of the ancient De Simoni family, who built it after buying the adjacent medieval tower. The tower dates back to the 13th century, when it served as a "Guaita" i.e. lookout tower and secondary access gate to the village. The palace, with its splendid frescoed rooms and its garden, is the seat of the interesting Civic Museum of Bormio. It can be reached via a staircase from the lower part of the village or via a slightly uphill street (via Buonconsiglio) starting from Piazza del Kuerc. Historical landmark
Antico palazzo del Ginnasio has a rich history, once owned by the Alberti family before being repurposed as a school. The walls are adorned with notable works of art, including a fifteenth-century fresco by Bortolino De Buri depicting the visit of the Magi. Additionally, it is connected to the church of S., adding to its historical and cultural significance.
[2025/01 SEASON] - Christmas Market (Spoiler alert) This is a nicely done Christina’s Market, especially if you enter from Via Alberto De Simoni. However, the stands themselves don’t have much variety and are just a few of them. I guess I was expecting more and I think Bormio has better things to show.
