San Andres y Sauces in 2 days

If you only have 2 days to spend in San Andres y Sauces, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
San Andrés y Sauces offers a mix of lush landscapes and dramatic coastline on the greener, wetter side of La Palma. Nearby Los Tilos forest, part of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, is known for its laurel woodland and hiking trails to viewpoints and waterfalls. Along the coast, you’ll find natural seawater pools like Charco Azul and black-sand coves where you can swim when conditions allow. The area’s traditional villages and banana plantations add a quieter, rural contrast to the island’s larger resort towns.
With favorites like Cascada De Los Tilos, The Tiles Sport, and El canal, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Casa Demetrio and El canal so you can get the best taste of San Andres y Sauces while you’re here. Nature & Parks
Park
Caldera de Taburiente National Park is a stunning natural reserve located within the Green Island, La Palma. The park is nestled in a mountain crater and offers an array of landscapes, including black sand beaches, volcanic peaks covered in pine trees, and vibrant villages. With its diverse topography shaped over millions of years, the park boasts numerous microclimates and contrasting vegetation.
Best views I have ever seen and I have travelled to many places before like the alps, bring warm clothing however as you can expect it to be chilly as I could see my breath. Taxis run up and down from the place aswell and they are incredibly cheap. Make sure to go BEFORE 2 as the whole views are covered by clouds however.

this caldera is one the most fascinating places I have ever seen. unbelievable vistas while taking a short (+-60 mins depending on your pace) hike. one should make a reservation to get there, although we were let drive up without having it checked.

What a beautiful national park with breathtaking views along the walking route at the top parking area surrounded by the protected Canarian Pines. The drive up in our coach was a bit scary when we met another coming down as difficult to pass in the narrow road and their was lovely scenes down the valley on the way. We only did a short walk to the viewing platforms where you could see the layers of rock formation. It was very interesting to learn from our guide about the huge erosion crater and rocky layers. We found out about the dangers of forest fires and how the Canarian Pines have developed to survive them. Wear sensible comfortable shoes and a drink. The walking route has steep drops and no barriers, but the pathway is wide. It was chilly in the shade and warm in the sunshine. The visitors centre and toilets are at the bottom. You have to prebook a time slot for parking your vehicle to visit as numbers are restricted due to limited parking at the top. Very well worth a visiting if you are in the area.

Amazing location and definately worth a visit both in the day and the evening. The star gazing in the evening is very special, the milky way is so clear and shooting stars satellites and of course the millions of stars. There are new buildings which you can park at. Be careful driving up and down as the roads are hairpin after hairpin.
Gray L — Google review
There are multiple trails you can take in this national park. We took a very pleasant 3.5km circular trail around the caldera. We enjoyed the pine forest and the gorgeous views and scenery. We did have to book in advance on the official website. Recommended.

Very beautiful. Unexpected and breath-taking landscapes with a lot of flora. The cliffs, rocks, plants and trees are combined like a real jungle. The journey through the river bed was fun and doable.

Best view of La Palma. Climb to the rocks of los Muchasos and enjoy the lovely scenery. With clear weather nearly the whole island and the neighboring island of El Hierro can be seen. Winds are quite strong. Wear a good jacket to protect against the elements.

Awesome place with amazing landscape. I took the walk path to the Pico de Bejenado (PR LP 13.3) which is a quite challenging one going up all the time. Definitely worth it for one of the best view over the Caldera de Taburiente!

Roque de los Muchachos is the highest point on La Palma, offering breathtaking views of the volcanic crater and sweeping mountain landscapes. The rugged terrain makes it the third highest island in the world relative to its surface area. This location hosts a renowned observatory with numerous telescopes, making it one of the top three centers for astronomical observation globally.
We booked this visit as part of our holiday to La Palma. Whilst it was a long trip, 10 hours from pick up at the hotel to drop off, every moment was worth it. We were shown so many different climates in La Palma. From the tropical coastal banana plantations, to the elevated vineyards and then pine forests. Passing through the sea of clouds was breathtaking and felt like mists of some veil we were passing through to another world. Then we were clear of it and found ourselves looking down on the clouds from high above. The rocky terrain showing this once mighty volcano had once been active in this area. Once reaching the summit, 2,500m above sea level you could really start to feel the thinning of the air, at times it was hard to know if your shortness of breath was from the lack of oxygen or the breathtaking views! It was high above the clouds with the majesty around us that I got on one knee and made my partner my fiancé. It was perfect and something I know they will never forget. We then were able to watch the sunset, feeling truly blessed to share this amazing view. We were then whisked a little further along and watched as the stars came out and I have never been so overwhelmed with the night sky and annoyed by how much we miss out on in the modern world. I cannot recommend this enough, it’s worth the journey up and down the volcano again. A once in a lifetime experience and a truly amazing place to begin a new journey with my fiancé.

Great view, amazing options for hike (easy one and also harder one). Two friendly crows. Not crowded, road to this place is beautiful. This is a must stop when you visit if you come to La Palma. 10/10 would come again

Simply stunning views from Roque de los Muchachos are your reward for the long and windy road up to the small car park at the top! Go early to guarantee a parking space. There are a choice of hikes from here and the views will take your breath away! A must visit if you are staying in La Palma.

The road up to the top alone is worth the trip. Each turn takes you up higher fast. We stopped at the visitors centre which was very informative. We went on to the very top and the view was magnificent!!!

A must see when on La Palma and one of the only places where you can literally drive up to and park. Parking might get crowded later in the day. But there are also some spots without blocking traffic further down and then hike up to. This is but the first spot to go to there are 2 other viewpoints further down that you need to hike to to fully appreciate the magic/might of caldera de taburiente. I will always return.
Thomas T — Google review
Must see and enjoy the views. The museum is also very informative. A bit windy 🌬️ so literally jacket and good walking shoes. **would be nice to have some picnic tables to eat.

Stunning, majestic, transcendent, breathtaking... an absolute must-visit of La Palma. This magical place above the clouds will reward you with a once in a lifetime experience. From here you can see the entire volcano caldera, three of the other islands in the horizon and a stunning depth of space in any direction that will leave you speechless. Ridiculously easy to access by car, with a small parking lot from which you can take a short path towards the best views, passing by impressive rock formations. If you’re in luck, a small group of friendly local ravens will let you take a picture with them in exchange for a small treat. Together with a view of the astronomical observatories nearby, this is one place you will be remembering often as one of the highlights of your travels.

Monumento al Infinito, created by the Canarian artist Cesar Manrique, stands proudly in the highlands of San Andres y Sauces at an altitude of nearly 2,000 meters. This tribute to the universe commemorates the opening of the Roque de Los Muchachos Astrophysical Observatory in 1985.
This place is amazing and magical. Very cold when windy and the sun sets but the sky visible from here is incredible. And you can observe sunrise too. When there is good visibility you can see Teide as well. The information provided in the table were very interesting. Recommended stop for amateur astronomers. The path to get to it is made of dislocated rocks, not the best thing to walk on.

Hiking area
Nacientes de Marcos y Cordero is a remarkable water channel system consisting of 13 rock-cut tunnels that visitors can traverse. Upon exiting tunnel number 12, the impressive Marcos spring gushes water directly from the rock. A short uphill climb and the thirteenth tunnel lead to the Cordero spring, comprised of three cascades. The area also features various viewpoints and a stunning waterfall that hikers can cross if they're feeling adventurous.
So far my favorite ❤️ thing to do. Is a nice walk through the tunnels. But the rest was closed and had to return back same track. Taxi is best to take you up and down to your car. Otherwise you have another 2 hours each way. Not easy hick up or down to the location. The tunnels are safe. Hiking shoes, flashlights and rain poncho works best. Tunnel 12 is most dangerous it will get you wet and very low in a section.
Victoria G — Google review
As someone who was here before they closed the path to Los Tilos, I must say the hikers now miss the most beautiful, calming and refreshing part of the root - down from thevlast tunnel to Los Tilos thru Centro de visitantes. Now the trail thru tunnels is very crowded, there is traffic in tunnels that makes you do acrobatics with strangers to get your way. Also imho the tunnels show how people take whatever they want from the nature, leaving the habitat without water in this case. If the path to Los Tilos was open, you'd find yourself walking down what used to be a spring or even a river, but today is lifeless and dry... As an experience I can totally recommend visiting, but of course as other people have already mentioned, it requires a solution for toilets and/or education of visitors that they cannot just leave their waste and wet wipes in the middle of the trail.

Very nice hike, not as difficult as they say. the road to get there is difficult, but the hike itself is not difficult

Best places on the whole island. This is a must see, when you are in La Palma. You need a taxi to get there, which can be either ordered in advance, or with a bit of luck, you can get at directly at the parking place. Plan one day for this area and make sure to visit Mirador Espigón Atravesado when heading down to the parking place

Beautiful hike with spectacular scenery! Highly recommended! Since there is a lot of misinformation I will share a bit about its current state (as of 23.01.2024). Before you go check the current status on La Palma's info pages as things can change quickly! The traditional path through the tunnels and then down to Los Tilos is officially closed after the tunnel section. However, the path itself is not damaged and totally intact. The only section that is really damaged is the last part of the road to the visitor center in Los Tilos (unfortunately this means that the waterfalls are not accessible). Which means there are two options. Either go through the tunnels and then return the same way back. Or go through the tunnels and hike down the "closed" path to Los Tilos (which is fine and beautiful) and an additional hour of hiking down the road to reach the main road and car park again (you will not have to pass the damaged part, as it is not on the hiking route!). In both cases you need a taxi to bring you to the starting point (casa de monte). It costs about 17,5€ per person. And like other people mentioned, the taxi is really needed. Plan about 5-6h for the whole hike. Regarding tunnel 12: yes, you will get wet (walk through water and water coming from the top), but it is also the most exciting one. Be prepared. Btw, I just took my shoes off and went bare foot through, because I didn't want them to be soaked. Worked fine. Head lamps are very useful. If you take care of your head, you'll be fine without helmet (it's not checked anywhere if you wear one). Be careful and enjoy a lot!

Just finished this hike starting at los Tilos and returning via Los Sauces to parked car. Absolutely fantastic a torch is a must and good hiking boots, round trip is 12.9 miles and the hike back down from Marcos is a killer on the legs. I completed in just under 5 hrs 45 mins with a few short stops.

Mirador de La Cumbrecita is a popular observation point in La Palma, offering stunning views of the Caldera de Taburiente. Visitors can drive up to the viewpoint and enjoy the panoramic vistas or take a short hike that loops around, passing two additional viewpoints. The area also serves as a starting point for hiking trails such as PR LP 13.1, which descends into the crater.
Stunning forrest and mountain view, great to visit but parking lot has just 20 places and uf you dont have patking reservation they stop you at guard place 7 km before this parking. Reservation is needed in advance otherwise you have to come after 4PM with no reservation. If I consider that full tour could take 6-7 hours you hardly catch it on time before sunset. No information about reservation, you have to google it, parking lot is narrow and parking there requires some driving skills;)

This was the on the way viewpoint that we took towards the Mirador de los Roques. The way is clear and clean while not hard. To come to the park you need to make a reservation beforehand as there are limited spots. The view is nice yet a little obstructed but still very beautiful. Definitely recommend the stop by the viewpoint for a short break with this view.

The most amazing place to visit. If you are driving up here, you need to book a permit at the visitor centre at the bottom of the hill. Unless you are driving up after 4pm, in which case the barrier is open. Best views 9-10am, then the clouds roll in.

Crater
The Caldera de Taburiente is a large crater surrounded by towering peaks, located in a rugged and lush national park. One of the best ways to truly appreciate its beauty is by hiking in or around the crater, offering breathtaking views and an immersive experience with nature. Alternatively, visitors can drive to the Mirador de la Cumbrecita viewpoint situated on the edge of the crater for stunning panoramic vistas.
What a walk .. not for the faint hearted , you start at the top of the mountain with all the canary pine trees , the views are spectacular, the drive up is a little edgy as wheels come of the tiny track and you feel like your going to drop off the edge but you don't and the driver's are experienced, once on the trail which you have to stick to its lovely and easy for the first 3 miles or so , you finally reach the camp site so you can take a break , have something to eat , use the toilet, fill up water bottles there is even a little museum, then you carry on with your walk and this is where it gets tricky and fun , your walking on cliff edge one wrong move and you could end up miles below.. we went with a guide who was superb and help over some really tricky areas.. once at the bottom you end up in a dry river bed with a little stream which depending on the rain can turn into a river... its an amazing walk with amazing views.. a real must

(Translated by Google) A magnificent hike! From the car park at the bottom of the valley, you have to take a taxi for €51 to go up to the top of the caldera. The first part of the hike is magnificent, in the middle of the pines, high up, the trails are well marked and allow you to reach the campig at 5.7km in less than 2 hours. The campsite toilets are clean and you will find a very interesting model of the caldera there. Then, we continue to descend until we reach the river bed. It goes down a lot but it's easy. The Cascada de Colores requires you to make a 1km detour (500m there/500m return). It's interesting but it's really a very small waterfall, not very impressive... The end of the hike is, however, relatively difficult: 4km of walking in or near the river bed, lots of stones, little shade, this is clearly not the most exciting part. The hike is very well signposted, especially at the beginning. Be careful, at the end, in the river bed, the signs and indications are high up so it is easy to miss them if you look at your feet. Have a good walk 😊 (Original) Une magnifique randonnée ! Bonne promenade 😊

The first 5,400km are spectacular through the forest and you cross the river just before reaching the camping area. Cascada De Los Tilos is a hidden gem located in the lush laurel forests of Isla Bonita, La Palma. The forest is home to species from the Tertiary era that have found sanctuary here. A hike through this ancient and humid forest feels like stepping into a fairy tale or traveling back in time. The waterfall, standing at about 22 meters high, is nestled within the loorbeer forest and can be easily reached by car.
A beautiful walk through the forest to see a waterfall. Beautiful scenery in the gorge, lots of butterflies. It's not too long or difficult a walk from the visitor's centre, definitely worth the visit. You can get under the waterfall if you want to - it's refreshing!

One of the few waterfalls on La Palma, it's a short walk from the car park and nice to take a few pictures. The waterfall itself is not a natural waterfall, in fact the majority of the water that comes down, is being pumped up again, but it is still a nice place to take some pictures.

A huge cascade of water, from a waterfall in the Los Tilos national park. Beware of slippery rocks and cramped tunnels. But if we can do it you can do it as we are a group of elderly people who came the easy way with a tour bus. Go and see..the waterfall and the surrounding. Its highly recommended.

If you find yourself wandering through the enchanting Los Tilos Forest and your stomach starts to rumble, look no further than Casa Demetrio for a delightful meal. This charming restaurant feels like stepping into your grandmother's cozy kitchen, exuding an authentic rustic vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. After a refreshing hike, we indulged in their rabbit stew paired with traditional papas arrugadas—simply delicious!
had absolutely delicious papas arrugadas with cheese and mojo here. Memorable location, friendly service! Inquisitive finches and ravens.

Fine food, good service, supper views of mountain forest. Price/Quality - very good.
Ramas N — Google review
We had the rabbit stew with papas arugadas for lunch. Very tasty. Don't think of this as a fancy restaurant. The service was efficient and direct. The plates were banged on the table but no offence was taken...they only have two staff. A great place to eat after a bracing walk. We will be back.
Philip F — Google review
Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this restaurant! I think they are still open because in the area is no connection so nobody can check reviews of the restaurant. Cheese we ordered was still cold and meat didn't even taste like a meat.
Natálie B — Google review
Skip this restaurant. Bad food, terrible service. We were yelled at by the by the owner, an older lady, because she brought the wrong iced tea (mango instead of lemon). "Not my problem", she added. Next, they served the wrong dish of grilled cheese (which looked horrible anyway). Apparently, this was too much for the old lady to handle, as she yelled out "oh my God!", and added a "Jesus Christ!" and "Not this again!". All we did was politely ask for the right dish. We decided to let it go. To top it all off, afterwards, they charged everthing we ordered and more. Even the things they said they would cross off, because they made a mistake. Then we found out they charged 1,50 euro for a little bag of mayonaise, which usually goes for free or at most 50 cents. When we raised questions on that matter, especially since they charged already 3 euros for a small plate of greasy undercooked fries, the owner's daughter exclaimed she was not the one who set the prices and could therefore do nothing about it. It was a matter out of her hands. We would have liked to have known up front, given the price was not indicated on the menu, but, alas, our protest was to no avail. Needless to say, this was an interesting experience, somewhat perpendicular to the magnificent surroundings and stunning location of the restaurant. We sincerily hope the restaurant will be sold to a new proprietor with more respect for the customers, the restaurant and the surroundings. It deserves it. In case you're wondering, we are not the complaining type and are used to all kinds of travel hassle. We're just not used to being yelled at by a restaurant owner for things they did wrong themselves. Hence the one star review.
Ingur Z — Google review
Food is pre-cooked and then thrown in the microwave when ordered. Simple and small dishes. Not especially worth the money. They charge extra for things like ketchup or bread without declaration. Sadly there are no other alternatives in the area, so they can do whatever they want. Be advised to skip this place and bring your own picnic.
Janno U — Google review
After a rainy walk, it was the perfect place. Cosy, home style, rustic. The place reflects the environment. Simple food but well done. The goat was really good. The queso asado was also amazing.
Riccardo C — Google review
We waited over an hour and still got no food. After asking one of the waiters we got half of the food we orderd. The fries weren't even done. Overall it was a bad expirience and i wouldn't recommend visiting this restaurant.

Day 2

Northwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Recreation Area and Visitor Center Los Tilos, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Parque Arqueológico El Tendal. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Visitor center
Recreation Area and Visitor Center Los Tilos is a must-visit in La Palma, known for its lush forest with endemic vegetation. The area offers various hiking trails leading to hidden glades, waterfalls like Cascada de Los Tilos, and unique wildlife. It's a protected biosphere reserve where visitors can enjoy the pure beauty of nature. The main attraction is the striking waterfall, but there's also a beautiful canyon with large ferns and diverse plants to explore.
Beautiful forest, very green. With the waterfalls around all the year, not depending on if there is the rain season or not. Several trekking routes available. We've taken the shortest 1,3 km as we were with children. All the way up, hard, but beautiful way to go. There is also the barbeque area in there and the restaurant at the main entrance to the forest. There is the small museum at the entrance too, where you can find out some facts about the forest and to get an information about the nearest waterfall (the first one is just 5 minutes away from the entrance)
Zanna V — Google review
A must visit incredible art of nature. Worth to see the change from the totally volcanic scenes in the south to the amazing forest in the north.
Edilberto A — Google review
Wonderfull site. Although the waterfall is almost dry the lush canyon is gorgeous! Follow the stream upwards to come to a large clearing with a 10m+ waterfall. With good shoes the climb is not too difficult. Being fit helps but is not nececary. We had a few seniors in the group that had no trouble climbing the rocks.
Rens B — Google review
Starting point of some really spectacular hiking routes through dense laurisilva forests. High recommendations to any nature lover who is not afraid of elevation differences and steep climbs in paths.
Jussi A — Google review
An easy walk to the main attraction: the waterfall! But those dating can walk past it and come across and beautiful canyon, full of large ferns and a plethora of different plants. The hike is short but worth it 👍🏻
Liam B — Google review
This centre is a really nice place with a lot of informations. You have different rooms introducing you to the surroundings on diverse aspects. You also have tables to have lunch/break before or after a walk and the area in general is already a place to see. Today the woman who welcomed us was so kind, speaking several languages and giving us very useful tips. I wish everyone in such places could have this ability with people, it was a real pleasure although we couldn't do any hikes because of the wind... we'll come back!
Angélique M — Google review
Very nice and friendly service in the counter. Small nature museum for free. And the waterfall and hikes are amazing.

State park
Calle De Los Tilos in La Palma is a must-visit destination, featuring one of the best-preserved laurel forests globally. Although temporarily closed for access since December, it remains a magical and beautiful place to explore. Visitors are recommended to wear booties and a raincoat for an enchanting experience amidst the lush greenery and captivating waterfalls. While some may dismiss it as just a bunch of trees, this unique location offers an otherworldly atmosphere that's worth experiencing firsthand.
Beautiful place to visit mysterious and magical!

This is not an opinion of the view. But to warn the others, that the road is currently close, except for the residents. Too bad, from the comments it looks great.

It is a beautiful place but also a bit dangerous. Watch out where you leave your car, because the steep rock walls are not secured. We were there last Saturday, and a stone-slide occurred which broke my husband's wrist and damaged the cars nearby, too. However, until that moment we enjoyed the sights, plants etc.

(Translated by Google) Calle means street in German. Consequently, the street and not Los Tilos itself should be evaluated here! Nevertheless, the waterfall and some other things in Los Tilos are rated here! 🥴🥴 Ergo, read the title first and then do the review! The road leading to Los Tilos is very narrow in some places; It is recommended to drive very carefully and slowly. From the large bridge over the gorge, it is about 6 km to reach Los Tilos. The Mirador Espigón Atravesado is a stunning viewpoint located within the breathtaking Los Tilos Forest in La Palma. The route to reach this viewpoint starts at the Los Tilos information center and takes you through Barranco del Agua, offering views of impressive waterfalls and lush vegetation. It's important to wear sturdy hiking shoes due to some rocky sections along the way.
What an incredible experience. Outstanding views, excellent hike. You feel like an ant next to all of the trees. A must for anyone who loves nature and hiking while in La Palma. Be sure to bring good shoes and plenty of water!

The walk is easy (but a bit steep). Only the last climb to the top is narrow, you should be sure footed and not afraid of heights. The top is already crowded with 2 people on it. Very nice view.
NomenNescio K — Google review
About an hour walk up to the viewing point. Not wheel friendly - but not too much of a challenge for walkers. View out over forest is good, but you won't see much more than trees.

Museum
Parque Arqueológico El Tendal is a significant archaeological site on La Palma, featuring the caves where the original inhabitants, Benahoritas, lived. The area was vital for their livestock and agriculture due to the Marcos y Cordero Springs. The park includes a well-planned museum with exhibitions, touch screens, and informative charts. Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the valley and caves to learn about pre-Hispanic life on the Canary Islands.
Very interesting historical site, probably the most important findings of all islands are found here. Brilliant and very friendly staff, who will answer all questions and have an enormous knowledge about the aboriginal culture and life on the island. This is a place not to miss, when visiting La Palma!

Hidden gem! We only stopped because I wanted to take a photo and then stumbled on the exhibition. Our guide was very attentive and gave us a private tour with a lot of background knowledge. Would recommend this to everyone visiting the island.

Very, very interesting place to visit - a must see! Best tour guide has all the information and more. Come visit and learn about your ancestors 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
65gennaro S — Google review
They’ve put a lot of money into this but it was quite boring - these kind of caves you can see everywhere on the island and the truth is they don’t know much about religious practices or the petroglyphs. It would be more interesting if there was information about local plants and their properties and uses, perhaps a pottery workshop for kids or a dress up something like that which most modern museums do. Unfortunately as it is it would only be worth the stop if it was free entry or donation based. For a price of €8pp I would expect more
Chloe S — Google review
A very interesting place to visit with caves that hosted early settlers to La Palma - the Benahoritas, between 100-300AD, a museum that depicted their lives, and artefacts retrieved from the area around the Barranco. I was shown the trail down to the bottom of the gorgeous by a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic young lady, I didn't get her name but she made the walk so interesting and was passionate about the Benahoritas, the Barranca and it's fauna and flora, I'd decided to visit on the back of positive TA reviews, I can only mirror what was said by other visitors - a very interesting and worhwhile way to spend a couple of hours.
Darren J — Google review

We enjoyed our visit of the El Tendal archaeological park with the museum. It's a very well planned museum, with exhibitions, touch screens, a movie and nicely designed information charts. The highlight was the guided tour into the valley and to the cave. On our 1st visit, we were too late for the last tour and could come back the next day to do the tour still. Our tour guide gave lots of info's about the life of prespanic humans, plants and food etc. She could answer all of our questions. It was really great! I can highly recommend the museum with the tour!
Denise H — Google review
This place was amazing! So educational and well laid out. After a short film and walk through the museum, you get a personalized walking tour down the side of the hill and very close to the opening of the Benahoritas cave which was incredible and insightful! The guides are so brilliant and are happy to answer any questions you have about the aboriginal history.

El Canal is a small, family-owned eatery that features a dining area with an outdoor seating option where customers can enjoy delicious local cuisine along with carefully selected wines. While it may not have the same picturesque view as Plaza de San Andres, the restaurant compensates for it with its exceptional food. The menu offers a variety of seafood and meat dishes, all best enjoyed alongside their extensive collection of excellent regional wines. To round off the meal, patrons can indulge in heavenly desserts from El Cielo.
Great food, very attentive and friendly staff with good English, perfect timing of the food arriving at the table. The waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding ingredients and navigating around multiple allergies was therefore not a problem. The desserts were also delicious. It's a bit noisy outside but still fine for us and the inside looked very nice. Would highly recommend and will come back if in the area again.

Best Restaurant with delicious food, friendly service and amazing prices! If you need a good time, a bonding time with friends and family this is the ideal place to have it. Our experience in this restaurant with Carlos and Andres was the best we have had in La Palma, this was our fourth trip to La Palma. It had everything atmosphere, taste and price. A visit to this restaurant is a must! Their speciality is wine. Carlos is very experienced and made the selection for us according to our food, the wine did not overpower the taste of our food but instead enhanced it. Very enjoyable and unforgettable. If you are an expert wine lover or a beginner, this is your place. We felt welcome and learnt from Carlos.

The staff were friendly and I think the price are reasonable. I had wanted to try the popular cheese thing but it was made from goat or sheep milk which I don't like😅 so anyone who loves it should try because my boyfriend said it was tasty. You really need to make a reservation because once we stopped by here, it was full. So we booked it for the following day and we made it.

Service wasn't great, unfriendly, inattentive. The food is cheap and that's what you get I guess. What I chose (carne de cabra) wasn't cheap though and definitely not worth the money. Most I ever paid for goat meat (also considering there was only meat and sauce on the plate, not a single potato or anything) and definitely the worst. If you're looking for an affordable lunch get the chicken, the price is attractive and, I don't know, maybe it's better than the goat meat. Quite a disappointment for me.
