Pretty little castle in a beautiful setting. Nice views from the top. Doesn’t take long to see the inside, but nice area to relax and explore.

This is a wonderful place to visit. Very atmospheric, you can sit in the chairs where Dylan sat and really feel his presence. The man working there was lovely and told us fascinating facts about Dylan's life. There's also a fabulous cafe at the rear which you can visit even if you don't want to see the rest of the house. But would definitely recommend seeing the whole house.

Best place I have been to recently. The food is just superb. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the meat is so tender. The burger is fantastic too, and the service is excellent. There is a dog friendly area as well. We enjoyed every minute! It is a hidden gem in a lovely location. Thank you!

This is a gem of a place, the food is freshly made and locally sourced where possible and the illy coffee is superb. Well worth finding on the high street and stopping for a bite, or to pick from the wide range of top quality deli options, to take home. Thank goodness for independent places like this.

A hidden gem! We thought it was a small garage but when we entered what a surprise! You walk into a large barn with displays and through to a garden which houses an Anderson Shelter and a small cottage, filled with period household items. It was like being at my gran's! In what is an old garage they have small displays of various millitary memorabilia and a fully restored military van. The volunteers are knowledgeable and more than happy to share what they know. The only funding they get is entry fees so go visit!!!!

Very beautiful peaceful graveyard. His cross was easy to find, we went early on a Sunday so it was very quiet.

A church famous as the final resting place of the poet Dylan Thomas. Inside St Martins church there is a curious shaped cross-slab dating from Dark Ages, probably the 9th-10th century. The slab stone is built into the east wall of the south transept has an unusual Celtic design carved onto it; though some historians claim the designwork is of Viking origin. The cross is oddly shaped, reminiscent of a human body perhaps. There is thick ropework, in the form of looped interlacing, running up from the bottom to the cross-head, while close to the edges ordinary, less thick knotwork. The large round-shaped cross-head has a Latin-style cross in the centre with a small boss in the middle of that and oval looped links between the arms.

Probably one of the best beef curry's I've had in my life . The people there , the owners are just perfect hosts. The beef in black bean was top quality and the apple and blackcurrant crumble was quite simply perfect. Thank you

Excellent food & service, with generous portions, inside surprisingly spacious & quirky restaurant. Main course & desserts for all 3 of us where excellent. And with generous portions we came away stuffed from just 2 courses. My special of Rib of Beef in rich ale sauce with Horseradish Mash was beautifully rich & deep flavours. Then followed with generous sized rich warmed chocolate Brownie smothered in chocolate sauce & high quality vanilla ice cream on the side. The vanilla ice-cream Sundae had by one of our other group was similarly impressive! Restaurant also has free WiFi which may be useful for those not getting good mobile reception around Largharne.

Lovely castle, views over the beach are breathtaking! You can leave the car at the beach car park, it’s for free! Walk up to castle is not difficult. Castle itself is surprisingly well preserved. You can climb up a tall tower and the view is beautiful. Lovely place to have a picnic. The best thing- the entry is free! Will be visiting again, great day out, dogs also allowed.

Didn't go to car park, but went to castle, absolutely views were incredible all across the estuary breathtaking

An excellent, small site with 26 pitches, some hard standing others grass. Beautiful views. Well kept land. A fantastic small bar on site open from 5pm. Often hosting music events. A lovely couple who run the site also brew a lovely larger sold at the bar area. Very dog friendly.

We were staying in Llansteffan and decided to get some food here last night. I rang ahead and booked a table we ate in the bar area as we had our dog with us , the staff were very friendly provided water bowl for our pooch and there were dog treats on the bar. The food was delicious well cooked and nicely presented. Beef madras curry , vegetable lasagna and smokehouse burger with dirty fries. I would definitely recommend this pub if you are visiting the area and want some lovely food.

The Cors Country House, is easily one of the best places we’ve stayed. Firstly, let me start by saying that although the pictures of this place are beautiful, they don’t come anywhere near to conveying just how incredible this house is. There are so many little things that make The Cors much more than holiday accommodation; it’s easy to see that it has been cared for with love and pride for every guest to experience opulence, but above all comfort. There truly is everything you could want, and much, much, more, for an amazing stay. There were only two of us; my partner and I, but because we’re used to having a large property, it suited us perfectly and had plenty of choice when it came to relaxing. Whether that be in the sensational cinema room (absolutely out of this world!), or The Cors games room, complete with pool table and a bar area. The bedrooms were exquisite. Super comfortable beds, all with outstanding quality linens, and adorned by magnificent objet d'art. It is evident that there has been no expense spared when it comes to this magical house. I spent most of our time here just marvelling at how stylish everything is. It would rival anything you’d see in a high end interior glossy. In addition to the luxury and grandeur of the house, its location is second to none. There are so many fabulous places to eat within walking distance, but similarly, if you enjoy cooking, the kitchen here is phenomenal. Once again, it has everything and so much more. Simply nothing has been missed or overlooked, when it comes to guests having the most memorable stay here. As much as the house and location are equally phenomenal, the best thing about staying here, is the host, Jac. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, ensuring we had everything we need. Without doubt, one of the best hosts we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. I could honestly go on and on, listing all the very many reasons as to why this should be the next place you choose to stay, especially if you’re planning on visiting this idyllic part of Wales.

Just an incredible place absolutely huge!one of the best beaches in wales and when your finished exploring head to the chippy yes it’s called the chippy for some food 👍🏻we can thoroughly recommend it. Coastal path is tough going but well worth the effort. Just note that you can only use around 900 meters of beach when the mod close it for weapons testing but still incredible. Worth a visit any time of year.Stunning

This was a lovely hotel with very clean rooms, a fantastic breakfast and very friendly staff. The gardens are beautifully kept and the views from the garden of the sea are stunning. There was also a great communal room where you could heat food in a microwave with plenty of cutlery available for you.

Beautiful quiet location. The pods are delightful, very cosy, with a very comfortable bed. A small bedside shelf for book, watch etc. would have been useful, but due to size constraints I realise it may not be doable. The hot tub was such a treat, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our break very much.

Very peaceful walk but short , stunning view . Can be extended by taking footpath on left at bottom of hill with steps.

I called this vast beach my paradise on earth. I was here in June, which is the high season. However, the beach is so long that after the trip (about 25 minutes) I was completely alone! Clearly clear water, iodine in the air, light wind, very small waves. I spent about five hours on it and got mercilessly baked in the sun. I didn't want to go home. This is a wonderful place!!!

A sure sign of a good place to eat for me is a homemade lasagna that isn't just a bowl of hot melted cheese chucked in the microwave. The lasagna here was great. The team here are really friendly and welcoming. We were travelling by bicycle and the bikes were kept securely overnight.
