Nice church, very small. They do tend to concetrate of making money rather than spiritual experience. Not allowed to take photographs but they do sell badly printed monochrome ones on plain inkjet paper.

Unfortunately, it took me 1 euro to get in, and I couldn't pay with my card. I came there specifically for this purpose, so prepare cash only. It's a shame you can't take photos, even if you pay the entrance fee. I saw the lady keeping an eye on it and paying attention to what visitors were doing. Despite this, on my next visit to Portugal, I will visit this place because I like the atmosphere inside and I would like to see it with my own eyes.

Church with great historical and architectural value. The church of São Lourenço is one of the few examples of "Arte Total", a category deserved to churches in which azulejo mosaics cover the whole interior. A must visit for sure.

Unfortunately, no photography is allowed inside. The tiles that cover the walls and ceiling are worth seeing.

Beautiful architecture. Paid 2 euros and photo allowed in order to preserve it. You can always Google it the pictures if you need it! Only accessible by car or bike!

Smallish church not near anything. The inside is very beautiful blue and white painted tile, but they are *very* strict about taking no pictures at all inside and that was a major bummer for me. I think taking pictures is a great way to share the beauty with people who are unable to take the trip themselves. There is €2 admission fee for entry. There is no restroom or giftshop or explanations of the art or anything like that. The woman taking the fee was brusque and just because there are SO many gorgeous churches in Portugal, I wouldn't make a special trip to go here if you had to make a choice. If you're in the area, pop in and sit for a bit.

My favourite course in Quinta - but time and time again it’s overbooked. 5hr20 round. No sign of any marshalls all day. We even rang the clubhouse to ask them to get out and speed it up. Lot of non/beginner golfers - which is cool as we all played that way once. But stopping mid hole for the cart girl, when there’s two groups waiting at the tee is crazy. Overall- day was ruined by slow play and lack of speeding up. Annoying as its an incredible course, very well kept, and priced as such !

Lovely course in absolutely beautiful condition. All staff really helpful from the start. Teed off at 7:52am on 22/12/23 and virtually had the course to myself, greens were running very true and whilst not lightning quick they were quick enough. Fairways generous enough so you can open your shoulders a bit. Played off the golf tee markers, challenge yourself with the blacks if you can hit it long enough. Would definitely recommend

This course is stunning, one of the best on the algarve, a strong recommend to play here. Each hole is very different and challenging for all abilities. The club house is small but perfect for a beer and some lunch. Really couldn't fault this place at all, in my view its better than the south course too

Without doubt the most beautiful course I've ever played. Also without doubt the slowest pace of play and worst golf etiquette I've experienced. As well as being held up 30 minutes on one hole the people behind us got impatient and started hitting down on us. The buggy geo fencing malfunctioned and we had to drive one hole in reverse. I'd love to play it again, only next time I'd get a tee time first thing in the morning.

Over 5hrs to play it today, absolutely ridiculous, lots of non golfers play, complete lack of etiquette, shouting across fairway, not raking bunkers and not one marshal in sight. I for one won't come back. We had the same issue with Quinta south yesterday, they did have a marshal who told us on the 5th that he had spoken to the groups in front but nothing changed. They don't seen to care. The courses were in great condition.

Really disappointed. A lovely course ruined by tee times too close together. Almost 6 hours of stop start golf with four groups on each hole. We spoke to the course and booking agent who said it's been a real problem recently.

AVOID playing here. Course is in great condition but they are booking too many tee times. On just the second hole we waited for 3 x 4 balls to play it in front of us. 5 1/2 round, waiting on every tee, every second/third shot. Complained at the club house and they simply didn’t care. Such a shame.

We had fantastic dinner here. Tried 11 tasting menu and it was surprise after surprise! It was all tiny portioned yet packed full of flavours! You wouldn’t disappoint by anything in this restaurant, food, staff and atmosphere were all superb yet relaxed.

Absolutely amazing experience at Gusto! The service, atmosphere, and food were all top-notch. The Fagottelli is a must-try, easily the best dish on the menu. Truly unforgettable.

They kept feeding me food. Milk bread was very fluffy and airy, along with the assortments of butter. The tapioca one amuse bouche is the winner of the line ups to me. I didn’t go for the tasting menu, but ordered the foie gras, carbonara, the fish dish from Algarve area and the soufflé. At the end, the chef came out to meet and signed the picture I took at the restaurant.

We have stayed in Conrad for my birthday. Dined in Gusto on first night and it was the best experience I have ever had. We have opted for 9 course tasting menu, spent three hours constantly eating! Extra bread and amuse Bouche, with some petit four to finish. Amazing sommelier recommended us local Alvarino. I would recommend from start to finish!

You enter the restaurant, and the first impression is excellent. The ambiance is warm, the staff are polite, professional, and well-trained. We enjoyed a drink at the bar, ordered a lovely bottle of wine and the tasting menu expecting a memorable evening. Each course was beautifully presented and properly explained. And then everything fell apart. The food was shockingly bad truly difficult to believe it had been tasted or approved by any chef before being served. With tasting menus, you accept that not every dish will suit your personal preference, but this wasn’t about preference. From the very first course, it was a complete failure. I am still stunned that this food was sent out of the kitchen. What makes it worse is that this is a fantastic hotel with outstanding service across every department. That level of excellence made the dining experience even more disappointing and frankly, unacceptable. I don’t say this lightly, I’ve had fast food meals that were far better.

Amazing restaurant, the tasting menu is really really good. You have a choice of 5 or 7 courses with or without wine pairing. The food and service are Michelin star quality. The tables are large and the location is stunning, overlooking the swimming pool of the Conrad resort. The staff is very nice and make you feel welcomed, without being too present. They speak all the languages!

Now, this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for a while. Forget “chain hotel”. The staff in this hotel are all about attention to detail and service. I booked it for my 50th birthday as a girls trip with my mum, sister and twin teenage daughters. It was a fantastic choice. On check in I was treated to a lovely birthday cake and glass of fizz. The room was stunning. I had a deluxe family room. It overlooked the pool and I would without a doubt, book this type of room again. The balconies are large, comfortable and inviting with sofas and great lighting. Every evening, we had a bottle of champagne and enjoyed the view. The rooms are very luxurious with comfortable beds and you have a pillow menu to select your preference. The mini bar is full of soft drinks, water and beer. This is all included in your.room rate, so helpful with the kids. Turndown service provided bottled water aswell every evening. In reception, there is complimentary tea/coffee and fruit/pasties available: This is super handy for golfers who have no times to head down to breakfast. The breakfast buffet however, is outstanding. This was my teenage daughters favourite breakfast buffet in a long time. It was fresh, hot and of the highest quality. Pools are beautiful although a bit chilly. Maybe it was just the time of the year. Big shout out to all the boys on the main door. They were so quick at fetching the car when we headed out of the hotel. Always chirpy and helpful. Just one tip for the hotel: it would be super helpful if you kept some beach towels behind reception for when guests are heading out to a beach club.and needed them as It’s quite a walk down to the pool. We had lunch in Serena pool restaurant one day and the sushi was suoerb. The Nest lobby bar and Gusto restaurant looked so fabulous and I’ll be coming back shortly to go with my husband. Book with absolute confidence and enjoy.

onrad Avoid this dying homage to the tech bros at all costs. Cold, sterile, unwelcoming, and starting to crumble right before your eyes. What might have looked sleek a decade ago is now dated, tired, and neglected. (See photos) Dilapidated buildings, dying shrubbery, trash in the flower beds, ants in my sink, scorched irons that stained my paints, electrical outlets that don’t work, “soft close” toilets that now slam shut, badly stained lounge chairs, water stoppages so that you can’t use the bathroom, incessant construction noise, the list goes on… Service was even more disappointing. It swung wildly from genuinely warm and helpful, to overly obsequious (which quickly became irritating), to completely absent. On arrival, no one greeted us when we pulled up to check in. In the lobby bar, we waited 50 minutes before finally tracking down a server ourselves just to order drinks. Service around the pool was no better. Housekeeping couldn’t manage the basics of restocking our room. The one redeeming element was the food, which for us was excellent across the board—creative, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care, especially at Gusto, their Michelin star. Some guests complained about the breakfast, but we did not sample that. In short: Conrad Algarve boasts 5 stars, but really offers only a 2 star experience. It is trading on a reputation it no longer deserves, and travelers expecting five-star luxury should look elsewhere. We just came from the Vila Vita Parc in Porches, a true 5 star. Go there instead.

We stayed during last week of Oct. Room was comfortable and staff were super courteous. We chose this hotel as it had multiple amenities including tennis courts, swimming pools, table tennis & snooker table. This was ideal for my 14y. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told table tennis and snooker weren't available (broken table and no snooker balls). On the days when it rained my 14y didn't really have much to do other than the indoor pool. It's a shame as he was looking forward to enjoying the facilities of a five star resort hotel.

Beautiful resort with excellent service from the front desk, concierge, and restaurant staff — everyone was friendly and professional throughout our stay. The property is stunning and very well maintained despite construction along both sides of the front driveway. Our room was spacious with a luxurious bathroom and a great shower, and the gym was one of the best I’ve seen at a hotel. A special shoutout to Miguel in the Louro restaurant — one of the best waiters we’ve ever had and a big part of what made our dining experience so memorable. A few small things could be better: poolside service was a bit slow, the room’s AC didn’t cool enough (and the old control panel makes it hard to set a specific temperature), and the mattress could use replacing. Overall, still a fantastic stay and one of the nicest hotels in the Algarve — just a few tweaks away from perfect.

We love the Conrad Algarve, have stayed many times over the last 10 years and even held our wedding reception here for 200 guests in 2017. We now own a villa close by and continue to visit for spa treatments, meals and drinks. It is pleasing to see that the new owners are investing in the property to keep if fresh. Clients will need to be patient during construction works but it will be worth the wait.

Parilla was an exceptional experience, from the lovely and attentive staff to the remarkable couvert, starters, mains, and sides. Everything they do feels thoughtful and considered. The restaurant is set in a beautiful location, which only adds to the experience. It was, without a doubt, the best meal we had all week.

What an incredible evening at Parrilla Natural! I called before & spoke to the manager who was hugely helpful in dealing with our personal requests. The evening flowed with exceptional flawless service from start to finish. We were all pleased with our food & especially the multiple side dishes; we over ordered but just didn’t care enough to stop, we were on a roll. Great evening, thank you Parrilla Natural & we can’t wait to return.

The staff were outstanding: professional, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, making us feel very welcome throughout the evening. The food was simply amazing. My boyfriend and I shared a perfectly cooked steak, which was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We paired it with two different kinds of potato sides, each delicious in its own way. To top it off, I had a cocktail that was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — balanced, refreshing, and crafted with care. For dessert, I ordered the Dubai Entremet and my boyfriend had the brownie. Neither was just a “simple cake” — both were beautifully made, rich in flavor, and absolutely delicious, the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Overall, Parilla Natural is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. With its stunning setting, fantastic service, and excellent food and drinks, it’s a place I would wholeheartedly recommend and can’t wait to return to.

You have to pay 7,50€ to share plates. Never saw this in Portugal and I am Portuguese. I am certain that this measure is to steal from the tourists. Beef is bad. Not worth the money. You can get a better beef for 1/3 the price here in Portugal. Choose other restaurant!

Disappointed with recent visit. The scallops were overcooked and I feel there was far too much mousseline on the plate that they were lost to it. For main course the fillet steak was not of the quality I’d expect for the prices charged and the accompanying vegetables were extremely bland. Other restaurants in the area are far better value for much tastier / higher quality food.

The place is perfect for a romantic dine in. The ambiance makes it a perfect place to have a great time. We went in the evening which made it even worthwhile with their lights and beautiful environment. The service is great, from front staff to the servers. Would highly recommend this place.

Before the refit, this was our go-to venue in QDL but we aren’t keen on the latest guise. Takeaway bar now has no seating, we walk here with the kids for an ice cream sometimes and with this being taken away makes us go elsewhere. Inside it isn’t too bad but the food prices are higher than other venues, service was pretty good but it felt difficult to get in and different areas for “just drinks” and “drinks and food” - we wanted to be near the children’s park but was told this wasn’t available. We will go again but this won’t be our first choice anymore.

Food was excellent; staff very pleasant. However, service when busy was very slow. Notwithstanding this, we had three lovely meals in the early evening. Although we sat inside, it did get very warm with little breeze. It might have been better to have the windows and side screens closed and the air conditioning on for us northerners from colder climates 😆 .

Terrible and disrespectful service!!! First, when I arrived and asked for a table for two, a Portuguese waitress just turned her back on us to attend other foreigners. She handed the menus she was holding to a Spanish-speaking girl, who then walked way ahead of us without even saying we should follow her. It was Sunday at 11:30, and she gave us the lunch menu. Since I wanted brunch, I had to call them over three times before anyone came to our table. One time she even passed right by, looked at us, and simply ignored us. When she finally came, I just asked if they didn’t have a brunch menu, and she said they only had lunch. Lunch at 11:30 on a Sunday? While every single table was eating toasts and drinking coffee? When we finally got up and left, I still couldn’t believe what had just happened.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and a relaxed atmosphere makes for a pleasant spot whilst you’re waiting for folks to finish their round or time on the driving range.

The food itself was enjoyable and well-prepared, but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. Service was slow and lacked a sense of urgency, which made the meal feel more frustrating than relaxing. The atmosphere was passable, but the heat inside was quite uncomfortable — with 32°C weather outside, having the air conditioning on while all the doors and windows were left open made it ineffective, and despite asking to be seated somewhere cooler, we were placed right next to a pizza oven, an open window, and the open door — making the heat even more unbearable. As well as this the staff seemed more occupied with tasks other than serving customers, and their uniforms were noticeably stained, which didn’t give the best impression. Staff weren’t particularly warm or welcoming, which is disappointing when you’re expecting a comforting and pleasant dining experience. Overall, while the food was nice, the service, comfort, and hospitality left a lot to be desired.

A wonderful experience, I only wish I had visited sooner. I’ve had a home just down the hill for six years and only visited A Quinta for the first time last night! We didn’t book, so were a little unsure if we would get a table. We received the warmest welcome I’ve had in The Algarve. The host greeted us like old friends, and led us to a really nice table that would have valley views had the sun not set. The decor is really tasteful, the lighting just right and the music the perfect volume (all things that are usually off-by-one in Algarve Restaurants in my experience). Each member of the team was polite, warm and efficient. We opted for the cover, which I never normally do. The warm bread was fresh and the pate was perfect. I opted for the Tenderloin, which came with Julianne vegetables and a wedge of dauphinoise potatoes. It was cooked exactly how I like it, and the portion size was spot on. All in all, this place is flawless and I will definitely return

Another great meal at A Quinta last night. The service, food quality and ambience were excellent and all served very well by the team at A Quinta. The menu choice was really diverse with plenty for every taste. The Lamb, Black Pepper Pork, Chicken Breast with a mild curry sauce were all exceptional. Thanks for a great meal

This was probably our fifth time in the past five years and it is always exceptional. We had the tuna, chicken, prawns and liver main courses and all of them were sumptuous! Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and we certainly cannot recommend this place enough!

A small shopping center, some nice bars and restaurants, Blu Cafe is great for lunch, some really nice dishes, the Cheeky Pup bar is also good for food.

Nice place to chill out, some lovely speciality shops and eating places. Located on the outskirts of Faro with underground garages and small parking area at ground level

Lovely upmarket place. We've been to Tony's Italian restaurant twice, which is brilliant. There's another two pubs and a wine bar, which all look great, but we've not tried them yet. Will do in the future though.

Have lived in the area for 7 years and have been to Danos countless times. Today we had the best food ever there. The quality fresh ingredients and healthy choices on the menu, coupled with the great customer service make it a perfect spot for a lovely lunch or a chilled dinner. The manager clearly knows his food. Would recommend.

Visited twice during our week long stay in the area. Can't fault anything. Staff are all top class. Food delicious. And it's a fabulous setting. Really impressed with how they managed the All Ireland Final along with Women's English Final, as far as I could see they kept everyone happy. Cheers

Rueben was a very attentive manager and friendly. I contacted the venue in advance to see a GAA football match and Patrizia organised it, calling me back to confirm they had the match. The pints of beer on draft are the best around and the food is very good bar food also. It is the best bar in the area for live sports , I wish I had something like this in Ireland! Amazing setting and well air conditioned . Best sports bar in the algarve with a hint of Irish ☘️

Beautiful wooden building with attractive decor. Unfortunately, there are large TVs everywhere, which does not help the atmosphere. The service is superb, especially Christopher. Extensive menu with no less than 9 vegan and vegetarian options. The food is good, the curry is superb, the salad quite tasteless. For example, nuts or fried tofu are missing here. There are no less than 6 cooks in the kitchen (for 24 guests), and 6 people in the service, so the food comes too quickly, so you can't really have a pleasant evening.

A gréât place to connect with friends and family after a hard workout or a hard game of PAdel. The staff is attentive to details and friendly . The have a well varied menu , healthy choices available and nice wine to pair with .

Great sports bar. Bright, comfortable and airy. Amazing sound system to watch a match. Food is great, service is good and there's a bonus outside play area. Will definitely be back here.

A nice little place tucked away to enjoy good coffee, nice food & good service. Lovely pleasant area out the back to sit in the sun or shade. Plenty tables inside & out. I had duck tacos, good size portion however for me the duck wasn’t the star of the show like it ought to have been. Cinnamon cake with coffee was nice tasting but a shade dry for me.

Not dog-friendly – disappointing experience Be aware that this place is not dog-friendly. The manager was quick to quote rules and regulations but seemed to forget that hospitality is about making guests feel welcome. Given the number of tourists and foreign visitors, it feels like they’re not too concerned about losing business from guests traveling with dogs.

I ordered an açaí bowl, but I wasn’t sure how to eat it it was completely frozen. When I asked about it, they told me it’s supposed to be served that way. So if you’re looking for ice cream, go for it! I’m also not sure, but I think the peanut butter was mixed with tahini, which was unexpected. Honestly, I don’t even know what’s what anymore. And that coffee? It wasn’t a flat white it was definitely a latte.

So good we came back twice! Only place in our whole trip that got a return meal from us. We loved everything here! They were so accommodating and kind and the food was delicious. We had meat eaters and vegetarians and people with allergies and everyone of us was happy. Delicious!!

Really poor customer service Came in to pick up a takeaway salad and was met with rudeness from the start. No greeting, no courtesy, and when we asked what was included in the deal, the staff member was snappy and unhelpful. When we questioned extra charges for packaging and cutlery, she snatched the receipt and said, “Yeah, we charge for everything,” with a sarcastic smile. When we asked if everything was ok and why she was being rude, she laughed and mocked us to her colleagues as we left. We’ve been to Pure many times before and had great experiences. We understand people can have a bad day, but no customer should be treated with such disrespect. Very disappointing.

Very disappointing. The food arrived 50 mins after ordering and it looked and tasted as though it had been sitting around waiting to be brought from the kitchen. Overcooked, cold, mushrooms and sourdough toast. I was so hungry by the time my food arrived, I ate all of it except the toast crusts and the little dried up balls which, I guess, were chickpeas. The flavoursome sun-dried tomatoes saved the dish. Overpriced for this standard.

Easily the best coffee in the Algarve.. friendly and professional staff! An exceptional lunch and a delicious selection of pastries. Normally quite busy but can guarantee it’s well worth the wait.

We have been here a few times now when we come to Portugal. Its such a brilliant atmosphere, especially on Friday and Saturday evening when they have bands playing. All the staff are so polite and helpful. The food is also delicious. I would highly recommend it if you have never been.

Super place to visit. A must for anyone in the area especially if the Irish vibe is what you love. GAA and Irish Rugby on the big screens. Food is great but the service is what makes it great. Great selection of Irish Whiskeys too. Highly recommended.

We had a few recommendations to do lunch at the Cheeky Pub and they were spot on. At this time of year in Quinta do Lago, sunny weather isn't guaranteed, so we were happy to beat the rain and walk in just after 2pm to a very vibrant and warm atmosphere. We ordered food and drinks, and just enjoyed the whole experience from there. Good food, beer and wine and efficient, friendly service. Thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Celebrating a double Birthday & booked a section on the Patio area for our family/guests on Sunday lunchtime. We were so well looked after. The food was amazing, the service was absolutely top notch. Thanks Dermot for looking after us so well. Highly recommend the Cheeky Pup for an excellent time & experience.

Stopped by for lunch a few times and it’s becoming a quick favourite. The food is always delicious, I looooove the Bang Bang Chicken! The exterior is just so wonderful to dine especially on a sunny day. The staff are wonderful, have simply never had a reason for complaint!

Three stars is more generous than I’d like to give. This restaurant has many challenges to overcome, starting with the lack of an experienced manager—staff seem to be running the show. The pizza is disappointing; they claim to use mozzarella di bufala, but that’s not true, and there’s barely any tomato sauce. The lasagna is more like a stew, with little to no pasta. The Caesar salad has only a hint of anchovy in the dressing, and the bartenders struggle with execution. Prices are high for what they offer. That said, the location is excellent, and the atmosphere is beautiful.

We had not made a reservation but were more than welcome. Dinner on the terrace with a beautiful view and a beautiful sunset. Very friendly staff and live music. Extensive menu and delicious wine. We had sea bass and they took personal wishes into account. Recommended if you visit Quinta do Lago.

Had dinner here on a Wednesday night. Good was pretty poor, service was Ok but perfunctory. Limited wine list. Had the Saffron and Gorgonzola risotto. Asked for extra gorgonzola. The dish was one lump of congealed rice with no taste of any cheese at all. Much better alternatives around.

Beautiful place. Stunning place for a restaurant, the drinks were lovely and the food was excellent. I really enjoyed the evening. They had live music, the singer was amazing.

Friday, July 25th, 2025 • 2 stars We dined in Il Vero on a Friday night after booking a table for 20:30 as a family of five, and we had an interesting experience. In terms of the meal itself, the food was very nice. We had a few starters that were delicious and very appetising; perfect portion size and very well presented. The sun began to set, and the employees turned on small lamps on each table. Very quickly, flies started to pour in. They gravitated towards the mini table lamps, and no citronella candles were lit to repel them. Not just a couple of a few flies, but many flies poured into the restaurant. They sat around the lamps and flew into wine glasses, leading to people becoming un-appetised and “grossed out”. I had squished about 30 flies in the space of 15-20 minutes. My family were upset and disturbed by the insane quantity of flies, and we, as a collective, decided to move inside. The waiters knew there was a problem with flies - when we asked to move inside, the waiter said, “is it because of the flies?” They clearly have a problem on their hands. The waiter practically sighed as we asked to move inside. They reluctantly moved us indoors to a round table. The main courses were very tasty and the food was good. I will not start to slander the food just because the atmosphere that the fly infestation created was undesirable - I must be fair. However, after the copious amount of flies that we saw earlier, it was difficult enough to feel appropriately “in the mood” to eat. The pastas were lovely though, I must say. The staff began to lose interest in our family after we moved inside; they were clearly unhappy with us. Maybe the figured that the tip wouldn’t be great, so why bother? I’m not sure. The service slowed and it almost seemed like they were ignoring us. It felt odd and the general vibe shifted. For a meal that had started out so well, it was disappointing for the atmosphere and the service to take a turn. The food was very nice indeed, but the general experience can only be so good when there are multiple obvious issues with the restaurant. The strangest thing was that the restaurant had citronella candles (bug-repelling candles), but kept them inside. My father had to take a candle over to our table himself; he literally had to leave his seat to collect one. They never lit it. We had previously requested that the staff bring us out a citronella candle, and the waiter said “I’ll see what I can do” before doing nothing. They had a whole set of them inside - it was clear that they had been previously lit, but for some reason, despite the amount of flies, they excluded them tonight. Il Vero has potential, but there are many GRAND issues that make it a difficult place to enjoy. With the amount of salubrious restaurants with exemplary food in QDL, I would advise against wasting your time with Il Vero until it solves its problems; the blatant issues are too difficult to work past to enjoy the meal.

The restaurant was not overly busy when we arrived however there was a big table which arrived an hour in to our visit. It took 20-25 minutes just to be seated even though we had a reservation. We arrived an hour before this table however this had a very negative effect on our evening. The table was VERY loud and we were not offered to be moved even though the hostess apologised about the noise and their being plenty of free tables. The food was definitely over priced for the quality. The garlic bread was as though it had come out of a box and was really poor quality. The main meals were okay but nothing to rave about. The hostess was really pleasant and she was attentive throughout our meal however our waiter was no where to be seen. We had to request salt for the table and flag someone down to request the bill or order more drinks. Service definitely not up to the standard I was expecting. Don’t be fooled usual complimentary limoncello, was charged at €7 each even after being offered after the meal with no chance to check the menu for prices. Would not be in a rush to return, most disappointing for a birthday meal.

Atmosphere is lovely but don’t get a table in the glasshouse as it’s very hot until the sun sets. Service is poor. Nearly 2 hrs from sitting down to getting food. Food quality is good but not sure it’s worth the wait. Wouldn’t recommend.

An incredible experience - beautiful setting with perfect service. The staff went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. All the dishes we had were absolutely fantastic (mussels, parmigiana, seafood linguini, tortellini, semifredo). The quality of the ingredients and presentation were so impressive. Value for money is the best in the area. €18 for premium main courses, €8 for brilliant deserts. Paid €110 for couverts, 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 deserts and wine! Beautiful setting with large glass panels that look out on the lovely panorama.

One of the best resturants I had the pleasure to go to. From the first moment you feel like you step back in time to a megical place. The stuff was amazing service was unbelievable. The oysters with the side of caviar was a delicacy out of this world. The pasta was done to perfection and the eggplant parmesan was so soft and delicate in taste. If you are ever in Algarve, this is a must go place I recommend to make reservations

Definitely the BEST Italian that I've been to in the Algarve. 5* Ambiance, the food is amazing and the STAFF is impecable. Sandra makes you feel at home!

Italian flare makes this restaurant truly unique. Overtly friendly waiters serve amazing food in a buzzing elegant atmosphere. Food small portions of excellent quality prepared by competent chefs. Properly served. Large wine list massively overpriced.

From start to finish this was a lovely experience. The restaurant is stunningly beautiful. The food even more so. I’ve never had as tasty a carpaccio as theirs. Such a variety of flavours and textures coming through. The special pasta - a beef ravioli with sage was just on another level - such a rich filling but yet a delicate sauce to balance it out. My husbands mussels and seafood linguini were both stand out dishes and he doesn’t recall having better anywhere else and he’s sampled quite a lot of seafood linguini! Sandra was such a great hostess and went above and beyond, it was our anniversary so we were treated to a little cake and some Prosecco on the house too which was a lovely touch. The bill compared to some of the other restaurants in the area was extremely reasonable considering the quality of the food too. . There’s a great selection of wines and the staff were all friendly and attentive. We would love to go back here again and can’t recommend it enough.

Everything is great, the service is nice, the food is delicious, especially the sea bass, and the salad is a large portion. I recommend it

This place is located in Parque Eduardo and provides a view of the pond (filled with cute ducks) and the rest of the park. It’s serene, relaxing and encourages taking a breath to enjoy the scenery and sounds. There is outdoor and indoor seating. With Gin being made in Portugal, the cocktails are all gin based but fused with botanical elements. I abhor Gin but these drinks were fantastically refreshing, sweet and tasteful. The drinks were a little more on the expensive side but it was worth it. The ice cream was delicious and they had interesting twists on food items like their pistachio brownie not seen in the states normally. They have also charcuterie boards that can be ordered that are 20 euro+ . While I did not purchase them they did look delectable.

I've been to Casa do Lago before and always had a good experience. It's quite pricey, so one can expect more. This time tte food didn't wow me at all and I was charged 30€ for couverts (there was 3 of us, me plus my 2 kids, I don't see how we could have eaten 30€ worth of olives). The Tuna Crudo was disappointing too, the tempura Calamari really oily, the Calves liver should have been medium rare, it was rather well done. 211€ without any alcohol for that- it was definitely not worth it.
