Amazing point on the coast. One of the most beautiful lighthouses on the Galician coastline. Very vintage feel inside, especially the patio corridor
Andrew C — Google review
Wow, this little gem tucked inside Cabo Vilán’s lighthouse completely stole my heart! The museum is a hauntingly beautiful dive into the shipwrecks of Costa da Morte, with old lighthouse gear and stories that hit you right in the feels. Best part? It’s free, though I dropped a few euros on postcards to support the upkeep. Visit in the late afternoon when the cliffs glow golden, and don’t skip the short walk to the lighthouse edge those wild Atlantic views are unreal. Oh, and here’s a quirky tidbit: this was Spain’s first electric lighthouse, lit up in 1896, guiding ships through one of the world’s gnarliest coasts. Bring a jacket; the wind here doesn’t mess around

(Translated by Google) Beautiful place. The lighthouse is a bit neglected; it's an old building by the sea; it must cost a lot of money to maintain. Still, it's clear they have the will to preserve it. The museum is quite interesting, with beautiful paintings and photographs. In the audiovisual classroom, there are very interesting reports to learn about the area. (Original) Bonito sitio.

(Translated by Google) The shame is that we couldn't visit the museum because it was closed on a Monday. There's a small 🅿️ It would have been very interesting, no doubt. Obviously, the views from the lighthouse are breathtaking! I imagine that in bad weather it must be amazing to contemplate the sea 🌊 from here. It's also a Starlight spot, but of course, night falls on you... We like to visit the lighthouses on this coast. By the way, the lighthouse isn't open to visitors; only the museum and, of course, the surrounding area.
Tere S — Google review
(Translated by Google) We weren't able to access the museum the day we went up, but I highly recommend the climb to the lighthouse. The road is magnificent for enjoying the views (be careful because there are no two-way streets. It's narrow), and if you catch a strong wind like I did, you'll have a memory and experience to share. You can park 150 meters from the lighthouse. The rest of the climb is on foot. Resto subida a pie.

Mourín

Mourín, located in the Croa mountain, and A punta dos Castro are both evidence of the exceptional bay conditions that have drawn people to the area since ancient times. The presence of a Roman-built roadway further attests to the historical significance of this region as Romans were known for utilizing natural harbors to their advantage.

(Translated by Google) Man de Camellers Museum It's a very nice museum. The woman who sold us the ticket—for only one euro per person—was incredibly kind. She refuted some of the things we had read online, such as that Man had his own garden, which isn't true and makes sense, given that his charming house was very close to the sea. The museum itself is beautiful, and the surroundings are gorgeous. However, the maintenance issue deserves attention. On the second floor, there's a display of very nice photos, but they're mounted on cardboard, and the leaks in that area detract from the experience. It would be fantastic to improve that aspect. I had read some comments about the opening hours, but in our case, they were kept exactly as shown on Google Maps. About 300 meters from the museum, you can see Man's house and some of the works that remain, all from the port and without having to enter. The woman at the entrance told us that she knew Man and that he was a resident of the town. What struck me most was the profound love and respect this man had for nature. He must have been a very sensitive person.

Punta Dos Castros

Peninsula
Punta Dos Castros is located in Mourin, within the Croa mountain. The bay's exceptional conditions have historically attracted people, evidenced by traces of a Roman-built roadway. This point offers stunning views over La Risas and the entrance to the port of Camarinas. However, it lacks a direct walkway and a nearby cafeteria for visitors to enjoy refreshments while taking in the scenery.

Doesn’t look like much on the outside but inside is stylish. We had very nice and creamy stuffed peppers, percebe (gooseneck barnacles) and spider crab (a disappointingly small one but fresh from their fish tank), followed by cheesecake and chocolate cake. All of it was excellent quality. The recommended wine was very nice. would go their again (but hope for a bigger crab next time)
