Sherbrooke in 2 days

If you only have 2 days to spend in Sherbrooke, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Sherbrooke offers a mix of small-city charm and urban amenities in the heart of Quebec’s Eastern Townships, set at the junction of the Magog and Saint-François rivers. Visitors can explore a historic downtown with 19th‑century architecture, a notable circuit of large outdoor murals, and museums such as the Sherbrooke Museum of Nature and Science. Nearby Mont-Bellevue Park, Lac des Nations, and regional trails provide easy access to hiking, cycling, and winter sports within minutes of the city center. As a major university town, Sherbrooke also has an active cultural calendar, cafés, and restaurants showcasing Quebecois and regional products.
With favorites like Shogun Sushi, Walmart Supercentre, and Granada Theatre, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar and Shogun Sushi so you can get the best taste of Sherbrooke while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Nestled between the cities of Magog and Orford, Parc national du Mont-Orford is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The park offers a variety of activities such as kayaking, cycling, skiing, and snowshoeing in its protected landscape of forests, lakes, and rocky peaks. Families can enjoy the nearly 200-acre property with accommodations ranging from cozy rooms to rustic cabins.
Absolutely beautiful park with loads of trails for beginners to experts. Great areas for a lot of different activities and some truly beautiful wildlife too. You can rent spots for tents if you want to stay here more than a day. There are good restroom facilities as well.

It was super busy the day I went for a hike- maybe one of the last gorgeous fall days. That meant the trail was much busier than I'm used to. It was rare to be alone. Like all SEPAQ parks, it's well appointed and maintained but I didn't give it 5 stars (which I gave to Mégantic) because I found the trails weren't as clearly marked. It was easy to get confused about which way to go and several people that day were off trail. I'll go back in winter for snowshoeing.
Isabel B — Google review
Beautiful, well maintained trails. Huge selection of activities for all ages. Lots of dog friendly trails. Plenty of equipment to rent from fat bikes to trailers and canoes.

Beautiful National park. We stayed one night in the campsite. Excellent hiking, mountain biking, water activities. Clean and well equipped sites. The only down side is the cost. It cost us to $95 to pitch our small tent for the night (2 adults, 1 young child). If you have the Sepaq National parks card it's $20 cheaper. We also didn't book ahead so that might be a savings too. It was still worth it because of the beautiful space and amenities, but quite pricey for camping. We loved this park and would like to have stayed longer to enjoy more of the hiking.
Ruth M — Google review
The campground is great but the power tripping guards really ruined our stay. From the first night to the last, the guards would come every 30 minutes to our campground and harass us, coming up with new rules every time. Very disappointing to see where this is going, if you are more than 4 guests I advice you book elsewhere. Special note to the guard Alexy Kingsbury, particularly unpleasant and arrogant, you should find another job elsewhere if you can’t talk to customers.
Julien B — Google review
A very beautiful parc with plenty of hiking trails and relaxing beach. Parking is east, plenty of breathtaking views and well guided. One of the easy trails we took is very suitable for a baby stroller (it should be equipped for off-road tracks).
Elias M — Google review
A beautiful national park with several different trekking and hiking trails for different difficulty levels. I am definitely going back to this place again. Super close to Montreal as it is a 90 minute drive away.
Dipta D — Google review
This provincial park has a large camping site, with a beach. Visitors who want to access the beach can do so without having to camp there, but the cost for 2 people is 30$, pretty expensive for a few hours at a small beach, but when you need to cool down you pay the price. Do not forget to pack a lunch if your there for the day, not much to eat at the store. You can rent a kayak. Good size parking.

Hiking area

Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is a nature reserve with diverse ecosystems and pathways, as well as an educational center that provides exhibits and programs. The area offers a tranquil atmosphere and picturesque scenery to visitors. Wildlife including snakes, butterflies, dragonflies, and flowers can be seen along the trails. It is advised to bring mosquito repellent due to the prevalence of mosquitoes in the area. The hiking trails are suitable for families with small children as they are flat and engaging for kids.
A nice little hike in nature, everything is well mark with a lot of maps and indication in the trails. The little exposition was really interesting too.
Samuel P — Google review
Nice, quiet trails for a walk. One can also learn about the history of Marais aux Cerises and the efforts that were made to preserve the ecosystem. It should be noted that the trails are accessible by foot from downtown Magog. Free entrance but paid parking (except for Magog residents).
Catherine ( — Google review
Wow! Such nice discovery near Magog! The walking path is really nice! It took us right to the middle of the town where we had a cute little picnic near the water! For sur we gonna go back!
Sam K — Google review
Lovely walk from the interpretation center off Chemin Roy. Parking is 2.50$ /hr and the hike is along a raised boardwalk or under a forest canopy. To walk the length one way will take 30-45 min. It ends at point Merry in Magog. Lots of information plaques along the trail and some art installations. In the spring I can imagine lots of animal activity, however at the end of the summer the marsh is dry.
Helen G — Google review
Great maintained trails, which are dog friendly (was a ton of them) beautiful sights and waterways to paddle board. Had a great 5 hours hiking around.
Tim E — Google review
Not what I expected from a marsh.About as exciting as a wet sleeping bag. This marsh became extinct several hundred years ago.Pay for about 1.5 hrs of parking and walk the forest trails.Much more enjoyable.

We recently visited Magog and took a walk at Marais de Rivière des Cerises. The place is beautiful, and you can spot many birds. We followed the wooden bridge trail, although it could need some renovations. At the end of the trail, we reached Park Merry, and decided to keep walking to explore the city on foot. As we continued, we passed through all the Park La Pointe Merry and Baie Magog, eventually reaching the intersection at Plage des Cantons. The walk was very enjoyable, and we ended up at Centre d’Interpretation, which was our starting point. We walked for about two hours or more, and it was a great experience. The weather was perfect, but the only downside was the crowd. There were many people walking, biking, and lots of tourists, which made the area a bit crowded. Overall, it was a lovely outing.

This location is the worst of the worst! People work there look miserable and not helpful. Produce are in poor quality with pricey tag. Shelves are disorganized, and often empty. Return center run by a mean old lady. I don’t go there almost never, when I do go once a blue moon, it disappoints me every single time!

You want my comments it's all right there's nothing to spectacularabout it they could update their their wardrobe seems to me most of their stuff they got sitting in there look something that belongs to an old lady l I have nothing against that old meme but Jesus Christ there's plenty of young good looking ladies in this world and we don't they all need to be look like 60 years old before they get there the food I can't complain they got some nice specials oh they got plenty of room to walk in the aisles and the shelvesseem to be stocked quite often so I mean for that they're doing a good job but the clothing department it's a little bit to be desired you know I'd prefer to buy something that's a little more modern and little more up to date from my wife you don't hear she is a young lady while young young enough for me and all they got is old antique stuff in there you know I'd like to get something that looks a little more suitable for her
Robin G — Google review
Worst people ever. I went to Walmart after work to send money to my family and I went to customer service area and wait in line for my turn. When I get to the lady who was there I told her that I want to send some money to USA. The lady started to talk to me in French and I told her that I didn’t speak French that I just want to send money that it’s not my first time. She told me to wait until another person get there who speak english that it will take approximately 15 to 30 minutes. I ask again if they can call someone else since I had to go. She just keep telling me in French to wait and took the other person who was behind me. And another person, after she finished will all the people in line I went with her with my cell phone to translate in French what I want and she still told me to wait even I show her in French. She just didn’t want to help me at all and left. So yeah I was there waiting to someone to come. Then another customer came and ask me if there were someone there I told them that left that probably went to her break or lunch, and that someone will come apparently. After waiting some time finally another person came and I ask her if she talk English she say yes. Then told me if I had an ID I told her I have my driver license from USA thats the one I always give. And then told me that she can’t help me and I was like so none of the people there help me. I don’t know why people are so RACIST, so RUDE! And it’s not the first time I got treated like that… are people in Quebec RACIST? Where are there values? I know that not all people are like that but please be nice with all people and entities!

My wife and me were at Walmart Supercentre Sherbrooke. We were looking at some item. But one of the exhibits was open, and we watched it for a few seconds and put it in place. But one of the employee showed up and asked if we opened the product, and we said didn't open it. But he kept asking why opened it, and we said again that we didn't open it. But he looked at us continue after left place. I was feeling so bad. So, we said to him our feeling so bad. But he wasn't change attude and he didn't apologize to us. His name is " John" and He is a middle-aged man with white hair. If i were white person ,he could ask it? and he could ask to me two times? absolutely not. I'm disappointed about service for client. And I think that the employees need a service training for client. When we visit the Walmart again,we hope get good impression.

Fast food restaurant
Burger King, a popular fast-food establishment renowned for its flame-grilled burgers, crispy fries, and delectable milkshakes. The whoppers served here are not only scrumptious but also boast of high-quality, wholesome meat. Additionally, the drive-thru service is impressively swift; they managed to complete three substantial orders in approximately 10 minutes—a commendably efficient feat. Overall, patrons find dining at Burger King to be an enjoyable experience worth praising.
I ordered from this restaurant during the busiest times of the day. It was ready much faster than I expected. When I received it, a strong and energetic person named Shadi handed me my order. I wanted to thank shadi. It was truly a great night.

Woopers were on sale! I'm not a fan of their french fries. We had a friends gathering and the kids really wanted to go play in the playing area, but when we got there it was closed (7pm). It closes earlier than the closing time the kids were disapointed and us parent too..I would have eaten something else. At least we saved on the bill. They need to clean before, so at least we know the kids area is being cleaned. The whole restaurant was clean.

Drove 30 mins to get a Spicy Nashville, queued for 15mins, and I got a regular chicken burger, no spicy sauce at all. Very very disappointing.
Ligia V — Google review
There were 3 people already eating and 2 others at the counter, served and waiting for their order. I could see 5 employees in the work area discussing something while I stood at the counter waiting to be served. I ordered the 4 whopper special and clearly indicated only ketchup on all 4, which I had 2 repeat twice because the person taking the order did not seem to comprehend that. I heard 1 of the employees ask if the order was for extra ketchup regardless of the fact that the printout, and I presume the order prep screen, clearly indicated "seulement ketchup". That was a bit comical however nothing funny happened after that. I requested a tray for the 4 drinks but did notice there was a tear in it until I went to put it down on the floor in the back seat of my van and it buckled in half spilling 2 of the drinks on my van floor. I was furious. Cleaned it up as best as I could and proceeded home. Needless to say, our food was, by then, cold. Used to go to BK often but haven't been for awhile. It will be longer before I return. Waste of $31.

It’s really unprofessional, i passed my order with skip dishes then after 45 mins of waiting they called me from the restaurant to tell that the special trio i ordered is not on special anymore.. so they told the driver of skip the dishes to cancel my order “ like i didn’t opened the door for him “ and they didn’t refund the money. Do not ever order with them again

Park
This is one of our go to parks. Very accessible and near where we live. Has a huge parking space and huge land area for picnics, birthdays, sports and a lot more. Playgrounds have a variety of activities for kids. There are tables and benches as well. Have access to water activities with a fee. Near public transportation too. Bike paths and a station for tools or if you just need some extra air for your bicycle tires. I think there’s also an event place here as I attended one in the past held inside one of the houses/buildings. The park is an amazing place to destress and spend time with family and friends for sure! ❤️

Friendly service. Paddle boat, stand-up paddle (SUP) and kayak rental. Fun - lots to see on the river. Beach, “water museum” activities for kids. Free parking and plenty of it.

There is a beach! A beach in sherbrooke! It's nice, water is hot (for canada). Lots of places to hang a hammock and chill. The playground is great for kids. Well separated between groups of ages. There's also a place to workout for adults.

Amazing service and wonderful landscapes. Decided to get a kayak and I didn't regret it. You can see ducks not far from you while riding. Many different types of activities are at proximity.
Amzo — Google review
Lot's of fun with the beach and water house. You can buy there cold treats. There are beach volleyball spots, an outdoor gym and two kids playgrounds. I wanted to give it 2-3 star initially because it is a lot fractured, you never know how it's going to change, it gets flooded from time to time, it's underdeveloped, not enough funds are given to I guess simply maintain the place... it's Sherbrooke only beach and it could be so much more... it was better in the past. People at the head need to step it up, we need to have a clear idea of what offered, you need activities that you promote and lucky you it's directly connected to Jacques Cartier park...use it to your advantage (seize your opportunities!).

Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar is a fantastic dining destination that perfectly blends a vibrant atmosphere with a laid-back vibe, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a busy day. Guests rave about the mouthwatering dishes, such as their rich mac and cheese and the juicy Grand Diable burger, which are both packed with flavor. The inviting ambiance enhances the overall experience, ensuring that every visit feels special.
so far so good old pal Antonio and waiter Rémi. second pepper sauce is free i feel so happy. after 8 months: This restaurant has truly become my home away from home every time I visit Sherbrooke, which is almost every week. Their filet mignon is consistently cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and prepared exactly how I love it. The service is always warm and attentive, with a genuine care for the little details that make a big difference. Antonio, the kind and gracious man in charge, always goes above and beyond—he not only welcomes me with a smile but even allows me to keep my favorite steak knife here, making each visit feel personal and special. It's rare to find a place where you feel both appreciated and at home, and this restaurant delivers that experience every single time.

We usually love Baton Rouge but our experience at this location was really underwhelming. It felt like they gave us the bottom of the bag of fries because there were all so small and overcooked, the fried and grilled chicken was mid. What was most disappointing was the Asian salad which is usually great but this time no flavour. Seriously lacking, the kitchen staff needs to be retrained and so does the waiter for getting our order wrong when there was nobody else in the place after a snow storm.
Tella H — Google review
Everything was to our liking. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Spoke both English and French. Can't say any more that it was all very good and we were very satisfied. I had chicken, with mushrooms, vegetables, mashed potatoes with a delicious gravy. All very good.

What a great place ! My wife ordered the calamari and without knowing they ran out. It’s still very nice know that humanity still exists the waitress came over and apologized profusely and offered a compensation immediately , following this the owner himself came to apologize and took time to talk to us . We were lucky enough to converse with him for about an hour he truly takes his restaurant to heart and all his customers satisfaction personally! Any problem and he’ll be there he’ll even walk you to the door and open it for you ! Thanks Antonio

I highly recommend Shogun Sushi, a place I have visited multiple times and truly enjoyed. The value for money is excellent, especially if you have a big appetite. Their sushi is of good quality, although some fish options may lack freshness. The sushi rolls are particularly appealing with their generous amount of rice. The fried dishes might not be everyone's favorite but they are still satisfactory. The miso soup is absolutely delicious and the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with warm yellow lighting.
Very simple concept you walk in. You have an iPad. You order what you want. At the rhythm that you want. The concept is just perfect for somebody who wants a certain level of privacy while he eats. The food is quite fresh, If you're comparing value, it's excellent.
Anthony M — Google review
Service: Waiters very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would mention is to always serve water with ice if the water is room temperature, but this is very minor. IPad menu is very intuitive and easy to use 10/10; Ambiance: It's pretty good for a lower tier japanese sushi place. Only very minor observations are that some of the sofa cushions are cracked, and even though I like gangsta rap, it's probably not the best choice for a sushi place lol!! 9/10; Food: Very hit and miss! 6/10. Wonton soup was pretty bland. I ordered 3 temakis, and 2 of them had very chewy nori. 1 of them close to unedible. To be fair, that's the number 1 sin suhi ayce places have, but it's always very disappointing. Temakis are some of my favorite japanese dishes and a crisp nori makes all the difference. Its day and night. Their specialty rock n' roll Maki was good. Spring rolls and sesame beef were ok! Their beef with broccoli was by far the best dish served. Extremely fresh and crunchy, one of the best I ever had. Tempura shrimp was cold. Their salmon sashimi was average in terms of taste but extremely uneven cutting. Judging by the different temperature and freshness of the dishes, it seems to me that some of them were pre-made, which increasely hinders their quality. Overall below average compared to other places but not terribly so.

WORST SUSHI PLACE EVER, they covered everything with huge amount of rice and the fish is not even fresh at all, it feels like they been in frozen for years. They charge 1$ per piece of the sushi we didn’t finish without telling us before we order or any sign on the table/ipad. My friend grabbed a piece of broccoli and ask the waiter if they are gonna charge 1$ for that and the waiter said yes. After we agree with the charges and about to pay , the owner was so rude and just said to us that we are wasting too much food. Excuse me??? The fact you guys making food so terrible is a waste of food and for god sake please stop producing garbage on this planet
Stella M — Google review
I went to this restaurant today for my friend’s birthday and to be honest I never experience racism in a restaurant until today the waitress was racist in my own personal opinion, and how she made me feel she was not attending to us. There was a table next to us were the last two tables in the restaurant when we asked for the bill she gave us the bill and we all know all you can eat sushi when you don’t finish everything you pay extra which I’m OK with that and she goes to say OK it’s gonna pay $10 extra for each of us. I’m like don’t you guys charge per Plate which is like oh I can see if you guys can pay $15. This is one bill I’m like OK and then she comes with a new bill and she tells us go pay in the front. She tells us our machines are not working so please pay at the front. We’re like cool. It’s understandable the end of the day the restaurant is closed. It’s understandable but the table next to us full of white people first of all, she did not charge them extra, even though they had similar amount of food as us and she came with the machine for them to pay at the table and when we ask her can we pay now she tells us going in the front and we ask her why and she gave us attitude. She’s like OK I’ll be back. She went and argue with someone else and then came with attitude to make us pay out a table when she did not have a problem with the other people sitting at the next table next to us full of white people but she didn’t have a problem by me and my friend to black women you have a problem as paying at the table for one bill when they were splitting bills I’m sorry for me. that’s not OK never again I’ll put my foot in there
Amelia M — Google review
We came here from Montreal, this is really the worst AYCE shushi experience we ever had, they re having the thinnest fish and biggest rice, and no doubt they re charging you extra for the food, one dollar per extra piece, and they don’t not tell you in advance. The quality of the food doesn’t worth the money and the panic you gonna have when you see the sushi. When we re having the dispute, the Manager was the only person who tried to deescalate, we spoke with the owner of the restaurant, and the owner was pointing his finger at us not trying to do anything and believe the customers are in fault. We have been to many sushi restaurants, this is the most upsetting experience ever.

This is the first time I’ve experienced discrimination since being in Quebec. White people always receive faster service, while when the staff were told that we were waiting, they only glanced at us. From waiting for a table to waiting for the bill, it was the same. White customers were given spacious seating, but the four of us were forced to sit at a table meant for two white people. We didn’t want to cause conflict, but the fried food was cold, the sushi selection was limited, and although it’s close to my home, I will never go back again—I’d rather go to Montreal.

Warn rice with sushi is not my thing. Hand rolls are very good, soups and salads not too much. Their auce includes full menu. Not a wide variety of sashimi. Waiting times are short.
Tony C — Google review
I understand it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant. But I still expect some kind of service and quality to the food. First, the food. I'm not expecting high quality fish don't get me wrong. It's a buffet. Most of the fishes, while they aren't fresh from the sea, they didn't stink and didn't have an after taste (sashimi and nigiri). But when you try to hide the bad fishes in the fried food, this is unacceptable. The fried sushi roll (it looked like dragon eyes) was unedible. Also, the fried scallops, if they were even scallops, were mushed and formed into patties then fried. The shrimp tempura was mushy and soggy. The service was bad. We were a table of 7 and the server refused to give the iPad/menu to the people that arrived first while she gave it to another incomplete table. Then, we had to chase 3 different servers for a fork and water. They were all over the place and even got our items mixed up in quantities. Some never showed up at all. It was Wednesday evening and it was madness. I don't dare to think what will happen a Saturday night.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Sherbrooke, Boefish is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This chic restaurant specializes in high-end surf and turf dishes, featuring delectable cuts of beef aged for at least 30 days alongside fresh fish and seafood. With a robust wine list to complement your meal, every bite is a celebration of flavor. The spacious dining area can accommodate up to 150 guests and includes two private lounges, making it perfect for group gatherings or special occasions.
Our first visit to Boefish was unforgettable! The food, especially the perfectly cooked meat, was absolutely incredible—easily the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was stylish and welcoming, making it a great spot for a special night out. The real highlight, though, was the exceptional service. Our waiter was not only professional but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Their recommendations were spot on and made our experience feel personalized and memorable. Boefish is the perfect place for anyone looking for top-quality food, outstanding service, and a classy yet comfortable vibe. We’ll definitely be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Here’s an updated version with your waiter mentioned: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “We had such a wonderful experience! The service was attentive and friendly, and our waiter Clément was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back!”
Jihane S — Google review
We had a great time with extremely fine service and amazing service. Antoine was very meticulous with our special requests and spent extraordinary effort to accommodate them. The Onion soup was very tasty and the lobster tasted fresh. The desert was phenomenal. Try their oysters, you will not regret.
Ferris B — Google review
Waited for over an hour for our dinner. We complained a number of times, our lady waiter didn’t seem to care. Not sure if it was because we did not speak French. Other guests who came in later were served before us. The Manager was sympathetic but did not do anything to resolve the situation. Very disappointed. Will not visit the restaurant again. We also complained to the hotel management.
Tony F — Google review
We were staying at the hotel so this was an easy option. For starters we shared some Fried Calamari and Beef Tacos. For our main I shared a porterhouse steak with my kids. The steak was excellent and the accompanying sauteed mushrooms were delicious. You won't go wrong choosing this restaurant in Sherbrooke.
Chris R — Google review
Lighting on tables was dim / it was difficult to see the plates. The service was excellent. The steak and tuna were slightly tough and somewhat under seasoned.
The1Lightmare — Google review
What a beautiful evening, every course very well executed with exquisite calamari ans surf and turf cooked just asked. The service was great. The only thing is to go in the hotel to find a bathroom. Anyway, will go back to try the rest of the menu.
Sylvie B — Google review
One of the nicer restaurants in Sherbrooke. They have a wide selection of wines and aged meats, which their staff will be glad to present to you in order to guide your decision on what to order. Although the food options are on the pricier end, the fast & friendly service, along with the overall food quality, make it totally worthwhile. Among the best dining experiences you can expect to find in Sherbrooke.

Takeout Restaurant
Aux 2 Tomates is a neighboring brewery's recommended eatery that offers exceptional suppers and is run by a delightful husband and wife team. Their menu features delectable pizzas such as the goat cheese, pesto, and mushroom combination, as well as the duck confit, apple, onion with goat cheese option. Although the establishment only has limited seating for four inside, it primarily operates as a takeout joint. In addition to their pizzas, they also offer tantalizing meat pies.
Aux 2 Tomates in Magog is a gem that every food lover should visit. Despite its small size, this charming establishment has an inviting atmosphere that draws you in and makes you feel right at home. The staff are genuinely cheerful and welcoming, ensuring that every guest feels special from the moment they step through the door. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pizza. I ordered both a 4 cheese and a margherita pizza, and they were nothing short of extraordinary. The dough was perfectly baked—crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, providing an ideal base for the toppings. The sauce, rich and flavorful, complemented the dough perfectly. The 4 cheese pizza was a delightful blend of creamy, tangy cheeses that melted together beautifully, while the margherita pizza boasted a fresh, vibrant taste with its combination of ripe tomatoes, fragrant basil, and just the right amount of mozzarella. Each bite was a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs. While the prices at Aux 2 Tomates are on the higher side, the quality of the food justifies the cost. Every ingredient used is fresh and high-quality, contributing to an overall dining experience that is well worth the price. The attention to detail in both the preparation and presentation of the dishes is evident and greatly appreciated. The restaurant's small size adds to its charm, creating an intimate and cozy dining environment. The decor is tasteful, with a rustic elegance that complements the gourmet offerings. Despite the limited space, the atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. In conclusion, Aux 2 Tomates in Magog offers a delightful culinary experience that is both satisfying and memorable. From the exceptional pizzas to the warm, welcoming staff and the charming ambiance, this restaurant has earned its place as a top dining destination. I highly recommend it and gladly give it a perfect 5 out of 5. If you are in Magog, don't miss the chance to indulge in the delicious offerings of this wonderful establishment.

I genuinely do not remember eating a better pizza—every bite was perfection. This place is an absolute gem. I recommend it 100%! Northwest side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northwest side side of town. Start the day off with Marché de la Gare de Sherbrooke, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Marais Réal D.-Carbonneau. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Located in downtown Sherbrooke, the Granada Theatre is a historic Canadian landmark that has been repurposed as a versatile venue for various events and shows. Originally a cinema, it now hosts banquets, conferences, launches, and live performances while retaining its period decor. The theatre's rich history and unique ambiance make it an ideal setting for concerts and cultural gatherings with its impressive acoustics.
Great place to see some of the best shows in town. Seat space in the balcony can be a bit tight and press on the knees if you're 6+ feet.

Loved it! The place it’s lovely and has such amazing architectural features!! I liked that we could hear the show from the bar lineup! Only down side is the seating, I sadly had a taller person in front of me so I couldn’t see all but I saw enough to enjoy the show 🥰🥰 will definitely consider returning in the future

Awesome cultural place for concerts and other events with perfect acoustics and lovely atmosphere of an old Italian? city. Visited during the Dead South concert and it was spectacular! One star down due to the price of one beer can - 1/5th of a ticket price for one beer is just not cool.

Nice theater, but sitting up in the balcony, I had trouble making out what the standup comic was saying and missed out on half the jokes. Also, I have never seen the seat isle so narrow. While sitting, my knees were literally touching the seat in front...

Science museum
The Musée de la nature et des sciences de Sherbrooke offers interactive and virtual exhibits showcasing animals, nature, and science. It is home to over 65,000 objects and specimens illustrating the diversity and evolution of life on Earth. Visitors can explore a circuit featuring 17 outdoor murals with trompe-l'oeil style, accompanied by the Muralis application that brings the frescoes to life through augmented reality technology.
Stopped in to look around on a rainy day in Sherbrooke, and we were not disappointed! This is a quirky, but educational and interactive science museum. Learned so much about squid, octupus, birds, bears, and the history of the planet! The staff were very sweet. They have a cafe and a little gift shop too!

It's small but very well organized and fun! Many options to explore. You can watch documentaries, get coffee, and ask for the interactive show of the history of the region, it's definitely worth it. Beside animals you can also find old fishing and hunting gear. For tourists I suggest you start with this museum to understand the story of Sherbrooke before starting your trip.

Visited here midweek, there is free parking nearby reserved for the museum and also plenty of paid road parking outside. Really friendly and helpful reception staff who organised one of the interactive sessions in English. Musuem is across several floors, the wild animal floor is very impressive, kids will love it. A must visit if in the area.

2021 December 4.5★ A small museum with 2 full levels of exhibits, the other levels are considerably smaller. Free parking is available on the side. While this museum is small, it's displays are beautiful. Absolutely stunning pieces of well arranged art. Wonderfully elegantly placed and put together with pride. Currently on the main floor, you'll find historic pieces from different regions. Historic pieces that tell stories of the past with focus on nature. Some pieces in the collection are absolutely intriguing. On the same floor, there's an interactive 4D experience showcase telling the history of Sherbrooke. Kids loved it as they get to be immersed in the process. On the upper floor, there's a display called Alter@nima, wildlife taxidermy is displayed and arranged beautifully. Look at the pictures yourself and see! Better yet, if you're in the area, stop by. It'll only take about 2 hours of you take time to admire the settings and attend the interactive program. In the basement, it's a small display for kids, a tornado machine, earth quake machine and 2 rooms for play. One is a colors based area, the other... I'm not so sure of. This floor was a bit underwhelming. There's an area for sitting. Maybe a classroom style display. While the actual displays are limited as there's limited space here, i thought it was like artwork with what they had. Would come by if you haven't been. I think it would be good for visitors.
K W — Google review
For a small local museum, it was surprisingly entertaining. The displays were very informative and of high quality. The diversity of the exhibits kept the tour very interesting. They had several interactive exhibits that kept my three children involved and enthusiastic about what they were experiencing. Definitely a great way to spend a couple of hours with your family. An awesome rainy day activity. I would definitely recommend this museum.
Jay J — Google review
I visited the museum last Sunday and the lady in the reception was so welcoming. I lived the way the expositions were designed and how they label each item. The earthquake simulator was my favorite.

Great place for the family. This museum is also on the "passeporte" program through the tourist office to save a bit of money. The 4-D presentation was really quite good. That alone is nearly worth the entire entrance fee. Lots of interactive displays to keep the young, curious minds busy.

Indian restaurant
Masala Café Sherbrooke is a new and pleasant dining experience, offering a unique menu with the assistance of friendly staff. The cozy ambiance and breathtaking decor contribute to the overall appeal of the place. The food, although delicious and well-portioned, may be considered too spicy for some palates. The samosas were enjoyable but overpriced as a snack option. It is suggested that more vegan options be added to cater to different dietary preferences.
There’s a limited number of Indian restaurants in Sherbrooke and this is one of the better ones. Decor is great and our servers were fantastic. The food was delicious. Good quantity and it was so flavourful! Highly recommend! We arrived early (so my pictures have empty seats). Not so when we left, it was jammed! A great place for everyone including families.

The naan bread was amazingly tasty 😋. I ordered the lamb dish was ok. Not a wow. It seems like it was a bit over cooked that day… The service was excellent! The restaurant is very clean, and beautiful. I highly recommend it! C’est tellement bon le pain naan!!! Tout est parfait. Le restaurant est beau et propre! Le service est super bien 😌. Malheureusement mon plat était …correct…

Great atmosphere, really like the decor. They could add a little bit of sound dampening as it gets very loud with a lot of reverb from the other tables. Food is amazing, one of the best Indian food I've had, and certainly the best Indian food in Sherbrooke. Service was fine, not the fastest or greatest, but lovely people anyhow.

This place is SO NICE 🤩🤩!!! 💯% recommended, 💯% will come back again. We had a butter chicken and chicken tandoori. They tasted awesome. Furthermore, The decoration of the restaurant is very colourful, and you would eat in a good atmosphere. Plus the staff are friendly and smiling.

It was our first time in Masala café and it was a nice experience. Although the menue seemed a bit complicated but the nice and friendly waitress helped us to understand how it works. The place is cozy and has a gorgeous decoration. In general the food was good and nicely portioned. Everything was fresh and tasty but a bit spicy for my taste. We ordered samosas for the snack and it was good but way overpriced! Thalis and nan were tasty as well.

Horrible Food!! Atmosphere is good inside that's the only positive i can think of, the service is Not satisfactory, yet they mandated Tips 🙄. none of my kids ate more than a bite, tastes disgusting . I would rate food in negative star's , stay away if you're looking for authentic Indian food. For this not so Indian food food, prices are just outrageous
Acadia 2 — Google review
I love the first cozy and clean impression. The table by the window is lovely and their decoration is simple but very cute. The waitress was nice and friendly. Unfortunately we waited for the food a little bit too much but I keep thinking that it’s because of the fresh preparation. The food was fresh and tasty enough for the concept “indo-québécois”. This concept was very we’ll shown in each and every plate. People complain about the untasted food but it’s kinda normal, not a lot of people in Quebec like or can handle spicy stuff. So in general the food was good. The samosas were definitely waaaaay too expensive for the small deep fried potatoes!!! I would NOT recommend this on the menu. However the cauliflower pakoras was a very tasty and cute healthy idea compared to the usual pakoras... their speciality; thalis which are great and tasty. Also their mango lassi was quite expensive but very good and fresh. not a place where I would go back many times but as a first try The Masala Café was alright.

During a trip to Sherbrooke, O Chevreuil stood out as a standout dining option. While many establishments in the city struggled to offer diverse vegetarian meals beyond the typical burger or pizza options, this restaurant exceeded expectations with its impressive array of vegetarian dishes. Opting for the three-course meal and entrusting the chef's choices for each course proved to be a delightful decision. The preparations were not only skillfully executed but also intriguingly innovative.
Great food, friendly staff, nice decor and ambience

It’s a nice restaurant with a different spin on some classics, the atmosphere was nice for a Saturday evening, we had a fairly young waitress that had trouble to keep up but it will be a good learning curve for her. We was a party of 6 and I share the meat lover plate with a bonus phillies cheesesteak poutine.

This place felt very trendy and also very different from the types of restaurants my husband and I usually go to. I really enjoyed it. The food tasted wonderful and our server was great. Dessert menu is not so big though and I'm a huge dessert person. Also, a tiny dessert for like 9 bucks. Disappointing. Me and my husband shared a lemon meringue pie that cost 9$ and it was not the best I've ever had either. I did enjoy my meal though and so did my husband.

We love having dinner at O'Chevreuil before a show at the Granada. We get amazing service at the bar and the food is always excellent. Oysters were especially tasty this time around, as was the fried chicken!

I would say O Chevreuil is my favorite restaurant in Sherbrooke. Not only the foods are always delicious also the drinks are very nice. Anytime I go there I try different drinks. It's never let me down. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I really like the concept of open kitchen ! I'm always happy to go there as their staffs are very friendly and helpful 😊. I highly recommend O Chevreuil to everyone!

La nourriture en général était bien. Le service était malheureusement très long malgré la clientèle absente.... Les chaises était également pas très comfortable. Correct comme restaurant mais nous y retourneront plus et je ne le recommenderai pas. ENGLISH: Food was decent. Service wise tho was not really good. Despite the lack of customers, we waited a while for our food and or bill too.... Chairs we're not really comfortable as well. Thanks for the food but we won't come back there and we will not recommend it; sorry it was not to our standard.

Great service with interesting drinks and food that smells absolutely wonderful. We had the combo 2 person meal, assorted roasted pork, chicken etc.. Perfect !
Patrick D — Google review
Great drinks, the service was a little slow at first because of a mixup in the kitchen, so they offered us complimentary oysters ( without us asking!!!) , had more oysters ( both cold and warm) delicious, the cod was perfect, well presented and the bavette was cooked to perfection and tasteful, we’ll definitely go back. Great place!

Canadian restaurant
Nestled in a former textile factory in downtown Sherbrooke, Antidote FoodLab is a culinary gem that beautifully marries rustic charm with contemporary flair. Helmed by chef-owner Luc Vaillancourt and his talented team, this innovative restaurant offers an exciting menu that blends local flavors with molecular gastronomy techniques. Each dish is not only a feast for the palate but also a visual delight, showcasing meticulous presentation that elevates the dining experience.
Amazing restaurant experience!! The atmosphere is amazing, I believe the building is a repurposed factory but is super cozy and has nice ambient lighting. It was the best atmosphere for a date. The menu consists creative takes on classics like ceasar salad, Shepard’s pie, carrot cake, salmon and more. They put their own spin on things that are familiar! We would the food here actually quite filling. The service was great too. I will for sure visit again if I am in the area.

We had dinner at AntiDote FoodLab and wow, it was amazing. We started with the Squash and the Antidote Caesar, then had the Shepherd’s Pie and the Beef. Everything was just really well done, super flavorful. I had a gin and tonic and their Cocktail of the Moment, both were so good. For dessert, we shared the Carrot Cake and Black Forest Tart, then finished with a latté. No notes. Our server Fred was great, knew his stuff, and everyone there made us feel really looked after. In a city full of options, Antidote stands out as the remedy for the common restaurant.

Truly unique experience. Very cozy place, a lot of ambiance. Our waitress Megane ( not sure about spelling, sorry) was exceptionally knowledgeable, warm and caring. The dishes were well cooked and well plated. We tasted bison, duck and beef. A little too salty and overwhelmed with dressings to my taste. The description of dessert was misleading. It was supported to include carrot mousse with caramelized carrots, but instead of mousse there was just whipped cream with tiny microscopic pieces of carrots, barely noticeable. Anyway was eaten with pleasure. Interesting cocktails with unusual ingredients. Good choice of wines. Definitely place to remember and return.

My wife and I spontaneously decided to have supper here. We sat at the bar with a view of the kitchen, and our server who was also the bartender (Xavier) made our evening with his hospitality. Food was unbelievable. Recommended for anyone looking for phenomenal food and drinks in a unique atmosphere. A truly gastronomic experience.

We googled best restaurants in Sherbrooke, Quebec and were intrigued by the horse cheek Shepherd’s Pie (shepherd’s pie being my partner’s favorite dish). Came in late night with no real expectations and we were honestly blown away with the ambience, service and food. In the uber ride over, our driver said he dropped three separate groups at that restaurant the same night, so we knew we were going somewhere great. We opted to sit at the bar since we knew the kitchen/restaurant were getting ready to start shutting down. The bartender/our server - Corinne, was warm, extremely knowledgeable, had amazing recommendations and explained every dish with remarkable detail. We had the bison carpaccio and duck tartare to start, then the shepherd’s pie and duck breast as our mains and the sea buckthorn tarte for dessert. To drink, I had an espresso martini and my partner was extremely pleased with the corn on the cob cocktail (sounds wild but so so so good!). We both had the Pinot noir with dinner, as per Corinne’s recommendations and it went so well with our meals. The restaurant is in what appears to be an old textile factory, and they pay homage to that with the cellar-esque vibe, sewing machine decor, and stylish aprons and mixed glassware. We thought we’d have an interesting late night meal and ended up having one of the best meals we’ve ever had with amazing service and the coolest vibe. 10/10 would recommend! *chef’s kiss*

This place is an absolute gem. Been here twice now, and the first impression is that it is a beautifully decorated place. Warm, inviting, intimate, and a great spot whether you’re alone or on a date. I’m an Old Fashioned enthusiast, and Xavier (the mixologist I had the pleasure of meeting) is a genius. I’ve never had a better one! The food is top tier, fantastic in both presentation and flavour. When I come to Sherbrooke on business, this restaurant is a focal point for me. They earn every single star. My compliments and gratitude to Xavier and the kitchen team!

La Buvette du Centro is a must-visit spot in the summer, known for its beloved terrace and delicious cocktails. The menu offers simple yet satisfying options such as burgers, nachos, salads, fried chicken, and poutine. The venue prides itself on its eco-friendly approach with a zero-waste policy. Its bright and airy space features high ceilings, sleek decor, and stylish lighting. Additionally, it boasts a spacious back terrace with a tiki bar vibe.
Wow. Amazing food! Visiting from Ontario for our 10-year anniversary and we will definitely have to come back next time too. The burgers are great, the poutines were the best we've had and the dessert was delicious too. Also highly recommend the fuzzy peach cocktail. Our server was also attentive, professional and thankfully bilingual as well. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Our waitress was knowledgeable, offering thoughtful recommendations on a few gin varieties based on their flavor profiles for a Negroni. A selection of local microbrews was a great addition. I didn’t order any food however my friend had the nachos—creatively presented like a deconstructed Big Mac—which was delicious and the second-floor ambiance contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. A perfect spot to catch up with an old friend

Service was very attentive and food was good! I'm quite the picky eater and they had stuff for me. The fries, nachos and panko broccoli were very good. General Tsao tofu was great too. Food came out in less than 5 minutes, probably closer to 3, so crazy fast. Definitely more bar focused than restaurant, in terms of the HUGE drinks menu compared to the food menu, but the food is very good too.

Beautiful rooftop terrace. Can't get over the incredible location! The food menu is very small and consists primarily of vegetarian meals, such as a burger made of falafel. The drink menu is more where it's at! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area

Ive visited twice now and I cant say I'll be back. Ive tried their caesar salad, the bruschetta, fried pickles, and gouda Chipotle burger, and the Nashville sandwich... id only recommend the bruschetta.

I went there with high expectations after reading one of the blog. But it was not worth the drive from my motel. The staff was not welcoming at all. I think it might be because of just one girl working there. We ordered a poutine and a burger. Burger was good but poutine didn’t feel like poutine.

Odd location to get too (feels like you are going to someone's apartment but once inside,. Super cute bar with lots of tiki deco influence and a superb patio. Large menu but personally I think it needs more tiki cocktails available.
