Food court
Nestled conveniently near the TransCanada Highway, Medicine Hat Mall is a vibrant shopping destination in the heart of Medicine Hat, Canada. With over 100 stores and services, it caters to every shopper's needs—from trendy apparel to essential gadgets. The mall also boasts a delightful food court and a movie theater for those looking to unwind after a day of retail therapy. Visitors will appreciate the unique mirror maps that help navigate this expansive space, although some storefronts may be closed due to pandemic-related challenges.
For Medicine Hat, the mall has replaced the downtown. On any day you can go to the food court and find people just relaxing and enjoying the food. There are a decent number of food kiosks, so something for everyone. The mall owner has also done a nice job of keeping the mall updated.
Arose58 — Google review
The Medicine Hat Mall is a great local mall that is clean, bright, in a great location and has pretty decent stores. The food court has good options and lots of seating in a bright atrium. It’s nice to have a big Shoppers Drug Mart and a pet store connected to the mall as well. A Recycling center is in the parking lot, by Best Buy, which is great too. You can get a lot of chores done in one central area. Lots of parking and easy to get in and out of. The movie theatre is here as well. All in all, a great mall in the city that has what you need, from clothes to candles!
Kevin J — Google review
I gave it a 4 starts because the parking lots were big with no garbage laying around, lined with trees for shade. Everything was clean and in good repair that I could see. Mall hours are 10am till 8pm. I arrived at 8:15pm so didn't get to shop.
Ellen W — Google review
Terrific mall for Medicine Hat. The food court is a great place for the local community to meet up.
Jason S — Google review
This mall has grown a lot since I was a child. Many stores have come and gone which is sad to see. However the renovations have undeniably made the mall a much better enviroment. As much as I miss the giant water fountain in the center, to see the seasonal displays is also nice. It offers fine variety in the food court and store options.
Mochi C — Google review
Halloween Spirit store was fun to go around with my grandson...but, VERY expensive (the Cdn prices are tiny on the packaging, so what I thought was 44.99 was really $59.99! The sword to accompany was NOT $16.99 but $21.99!! Holy cow, $82.00 for a costume?? Came away with some ideas to try, so not totally a bust! Lol
Laurie B — Google review
Modern shopping mall with varieties of stores stocked with myriad goods such as clothings, jewellery, electronics, foot wears etc. Has a large food court and toys & games to the delight of the young ones.

The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede, established in 1887, is the oldest exhibition event in Alberta. The main attraction is the Stampede held in late July, offering a blend of western heritage and thrilling entertainment. Visitors can enjoy various events throughout the year and immerse themselves in tradition while experiencing the excitement of the city. From exploring Co-op Pioneer Village to indulging in local cuisine and enjoying free shows, there's something for everyone.
We had a blast at Cars & Guitars! What a great line up of vehicles, and we enjoyed the beverages available at the food trucks. We stopped at the Farmer's Market on the other end of the grounds first, and there was a nice variety of produce, baking, etc. for sale. Both need to be marketed better for tourists though!
Christine V — Google review
Checked out the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede for the Home Show. We have also been there for the Christmas Fair and Farmers Market. Well laid out and professional set up and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Spent the day at the Fire Fighter FireFit competitions. Amazing to watch the skill of these ladies and gents. Truly hard work to get where they are.

It was our first time and we had a Wonderful time! You have to visit the Co-op Pioneer Village, take a ride on the tractor-pulled trailer, have lunch in the food area, buy raffle tickets, go on some rides, watch a few free shows, stop in to see what Vendors have for sale-in the two buildings, and see the Art Exhibit, and definitely buy tickets ahead of time to see the rodeo. Definitely, putting it on our calendar for next year
DL M — Google review
We held our fall conference and tradeshow at the Auditorium and Fireside Room at the Stampede Centre, and it was a phenomenal experience! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. After 30+ years of hosting this event, this was our first year at this venue, and everything went perfectly. Our vendors loved the space, and our stores had a fantastic time. Highly recommend!
Nutters E — Google review
The facilities are aging but are still in good shape. For the area, it is the best rodeo and fair.

Park
Kin Coulee Park is a popular 100-acre open space that caters to outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. The park features pleasant Seven Persons Creek winding through the area, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll or to bring along your furry friend. With activities ranging from sports and tobogganing to hill workouts and stair climbing, the park offers something for everyone, including seniors and families. Additionally, visitors can enjoy picnics, gatherings, and photography sessions in this picturesque setting.
Kin Coulee is beautiful park with lots of trees and grass, a basketball net and beach volleyball, baseball, kids playground,a outdoor stage, fire pits, picnic tables and a creek running through. You can sometimes see deer and I saw a blue Heron and beavers but I havnt seen the beavers last few years, listen to the birds,it's a great park. Even have a toboggan hill for in winter.
Corrina L — Google review
This is a great place in the winter and summer. In the winter, this is the best hill to go tobogganing down, plus the steps really help getting to the top of the hill. In the summer, the trees and coulee hills make for a perfect place to have a bbq or picnic. There are lots of fire pits and lots of events throughout the summer to keep kids and families entertained!
Jason N — Google review
A fantastic park to spend time with family. Or just have a nice quiet walk. The fire pits and picnic tables make this a great place to relax by the fire and have a bite to eat. There is also lots of wildlife to be seen, Deer, Ducks, Geese, Birds, Wild Turkey and Beavers are among the frequent inhabitants of the area.
April D — Google review
Very nice mostly natural park over the seven person Creek Coulee. Easy access and easy to walk or drive through. Commented to couples of trials and there are okay grounds, volleyball, basketball and big grass field. Multiple available spots for picnics and fire.
Mehdi G — Google review
Really cool place to come and check out. Each painting has its own story behind it that tie in with some very interesting facts. It's definitely worth just coming and checking out at least once and walking the paths to see all the sights.
Dave R — Google review
A beautifully landscaped park. So many large playgrounds for children, and large sections for a private get to gether with families. Lush geen grass, and very clean.
Joan Z — Google review
Nice park with equipment meant for younger children. Two public bathrooms available, covered and open picnic tables, and fire pits. Walking paths galore. Not a lot of shade, bring water if it's a hot day. Saw a deer!

Located at the eastern end of town on the southern bank of the South Saskatchewan River, Strathcona Island Park offers a green retreat with its riverfront walking trails and various recreational facilities. The park features 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) of walking trails, a playground, splash pad, baseball diamond, and boat launch for outdoor activities. Originally inhabited by indigenous people, the island is surrounded by creeks that can turn it into an actual island during certain times of the year.
Such a wonderful first experience at this park with my two kiddos and hubby! Felt very safe and the landscaping was beautiful! There are quite a few ant so beware if your having a picnic there are ant hills pretty much everywhere! But the playground is lots of fun
Funmi S — Google review
Can be one of the nicest places in town to have a good fire with friends and family, beautiful walking paths, right by the river to throw a rod in and catch a fish. Lack of planning and management on the paths with no center line and please keep to the right also leads to people standing in the middle, congestion of people trying to pass. As of late seems 50/50 you can see some homeless people in tents, the other time someone on drugs laying in the woods.
Chuck M — Google review
This is a great place to go for a walk or bike ride. All the trails are intertwined and give you options for paved or unpaved. There are lots of wildlife to see: deer, pheasant, porcupine, pelican, beaver, and rabbits. There are a few fire pits and tables to make for a perfect afternoon or evening picnic.
Jason N — Google review
Beautiful place. Did some filming here over 3 days and never really got enough of it. The fact that the river bends through this area and you can get nice up close and personal with it is very cool. Plus there is a mountain on the far side which makes the views incredible. You can also see the other park across the river that I will be checking out next time I am in town. Overall worth checking out!

Really nice park near the memorial building . Superb scenery near the pond. Security watch patrol by the morning super friendly and helpful police officer, fireman and peacekeeper.

A Beatiful gem in the heart of Medicine hat with walking, biking paved trails along the South Saskatchewan River. Lots of white tailed deer feeding along side the trail and the autumn golds and reflections are spectacular right now. Definitely worth a visit

Nice trails and plenty of birds on the walk. Nice place. Will visit again. Southern Ab is very beautiful.

KFC, a beloved restaurant chain famous for its iconic buckets of fried chicken, is a must-visit in the lively city of Medicine Hat. This location delights fried chicken lovers with its unique recipe featuring 11 herbs and spices that create perfectly crispy and golden pieces. Complementing the star dish are classic sides like creamy mashed potatoes, fluffy biscuits, and zesty coleslaw.
I’m not sure why but my chicken came fried without the original recipe. It was very bland & very obvious the original recipe was missing. Can you please look into this?

Went to the mall location to get some lunch for my kids. Waited over 30mins as they said they needed to make some products as they didn't have any ready. After 30 mins still didn't have the orders ready. When I asked them what was the wait. They told me it would be another 5- 10 mins. Asked for my money back, and went else where. Very little customer care at this location. Never eat here.
Towgod — Google review
Honestly the worst experience at any KFC. The staff barely talk and don't do their job fully. Most times when ordering staff will ask regular, spicey, combo etc. Literally got my order slammed through and stuck with something I didn't want (or not exactly how I would have preferred it) as before I could correct it I got told "it's already made" and with that quick of a build tells you lots about the quality of food served. To top that off the chicken was dry and gross, and barely any lettuce on the wrap. For a $9 wrap this is the worst ever. Save you money and go to Popeyes or Churches as they'll give you food for you dollar, all while also having quality to it! This twister is literally twice the cost of what it should be and more of a snack wrap than an actual wrap.
Dillion N — Google review
First time to buy chicken in this branch, chicken were so small, for $32 with fries and coleslaw. I’m disappointed.
April — Google review
The food was bad. Fries were cold. The coleslaw was terrible. The chicken were really small.

Ordered supper today went to KFC through the drive-thru barely could understand what they were saying because they were quiet and they were rushing us our drinks the only two drinks that were full where are iced teas are pepsi's were not full my fries were squished due to being put at the bottom of two more containers and a bag of food and you can see the grease.... Definitely will not be going back there
Kim M — Google review
I decided to take KFC home for dinner, the East Indian girl helping me checked with her East Indian counterparts n the back only to tell me that I would not get white meat with my 3 piece meals, only dark, “ They did not have white meat” is what she said….so I said, this is KFC you are telling me you have no white meat at all? I guess I won’t get chicken, I told her this is pretty bad if you ask me! She quickly said, oh they could cook white meat! Well that’s not what she said, but that I would have to wait! She rang up 2 3 piece meals, $54.00! 15.29 x 2 = $30.60 $54.00-30-60 = $23.00 because I asked for white meat! I decided on a bucket of 14 pieces and had them show me the piece chart! I paid $54.00 for that fries and gravy! What is going on CANADA!!🇨🇦

Pizza restaurant
Tops restaurant offers a delightful and satisfying dining experience. The cuisine is delectable, with a wide selection of dishes at reasonable prices. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for all patrons. Both the pepper steak and pizza were delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients. Even when serving larger groups, the food arrives promptly. While their Parmesan chicken may not appeal to vegetarians, it receives positive reviews alongside their gluten-free pizza.
The food was delicious! I was very happy with the food selection and prices. The servers were so friendly and myself and my five great old has a great time. I had the pepper steak and we had some pizza as well. Everything tasted fresh and well made. We were with some other people and even though we were a pretty big group the food came quickly.

Pretty good Parm chicken (the veg is not someone I would recommend) and the GF pizza earned high marks. A one off kinda place, service was good and food hit the spot for an old school type or meal - not the best food technically but if you are craving something from a family restaurant this place has you covered.
Mark M — Google review
Delicious food!! Had our family to dine in everyone pretty much had different things. Food is always hot, and always lots of flavour. Service from waitresses are always quick and efficient and owner coming to the table to make sure food was good etc. Makes you feel at home. The new frozen pizza is DELICIOUS!!! Must try!

Didn't have time to review Top's yet. Before I left for Europe for a spell, I would have said that Top's Pizza (very specifically the Crestwood location) was the BEST restaurant in town, for almost any occasion. Between Hats next door, I am unsure who is best... Back to Tops... I mean you can get a killer steak, as in a REAL steak and walk out real happy. Heck, years ago me and my friends hung out in the bar, you can even get lobster tail here, which we DID order it was smashing. Who doesn't want lobster tail in a bar? But...the pizza...nobody else I know of makes their pizza like Top's. Their pizza is so different, likely the best crust on earth. You can get anything you want on it, and the chefs will make it good. It's pizza is worth trying, any toppings, you will not be disappointed. Come here for: -Classy date night - reservations available. -Taking your family out for a nice dinner. You will impress everyone. -Impressing your prospective new boss -Nice atmosphere in the bar, it's got a great volume. -Seriously guys, date night. Best pizza in town, easy-in its cost bracket. This is not a 2 for $19.99 restaurant. Look up their pick up special, definitely worth it. Nobody else puts such effort into preparation of the food. Hats and Tops are in some magic zone of food perfection. ANYONE visiting Medicine Hat should absolutely try either of these restaurants. They represent the City as Classics. Tops closes relatively early so order accordingly. I would not recommend getting taxi delivery however. They are known for...not being great...

We took a sports team there for dinner. 20+ athletes and family and they were happy to accommodate us. Cozy atmosphere and family friendly. All the athletes left fed and happy. The pizza was great. Owner came by to chat and was a pleasure to talk with.
Darragh O — Google review
For approximately 40 years this restaurant was the king of the pizza domain in Medicine Hat. Then, unfortunately, the place changed hands and it was glaringly clear that something was off with the place. And it's not that I heard about it in the local papers either, because I live in Calgary. I have been coming here for decades as it was just that good. The first hint something was not right was the girl at the front was gone after being a staple there for 30 years, and after that my taste buds told the rest of the story. The food is simply not the same and it's definitely not in a positive direction either. At this point, I am not sure if I will take another chance with it or not next time I visit this city. For that reason, I cannot recommend this place.

Stopped by for a bite to eat today, the customer service is very good the waitress was pleasant to talk to. I had order the Classic Cheese burger with Poutine and my fiance had ordered the Half the Hungry man meal. The my burger was great it is actually hand made with fresh topping the poutine was made with shredded mozzarella not cheese curds not a total deal breaker as the poutine had lots of cheese and was hot. I had a little sample of the hungry man's meal and it was very good too. The place was nice and cool and wasn't very busy so we got to enjoy the meals by are selves. Would definitely recommend and willl be back as the meal was delicious and prices right.

We were just there. The waitress was great, friendly. We could hear the kitchen staff swearing. The food was not very good. Pizza crust very thin, nonexistant in some areas, salad bar spinach was wilted and appeared spoiled, lettuce turned browned. Overall not good.

Nestled in the heart of Medicine Hat, The Silver Buckle Sports Bar is a culinary gem that has been delighting locals with its innovative menu crafted by Chef Alex. This vibrant spot offers a fresh take on beloved dishes, featuring seasonal specialties made from locally sourced ingredients like Alberta beef and fresh vegetables. One of the highlights of The Silver Buckle is its dog-friendly patio, where furry companions are welcome to join their owners for a relaxing meal outdoors.
I really like and enjoy coming to The Silver Buckle. The first time I went there with my friend, I ate the cheese burger it was cooked to perfection. He tried the steak sandwich and it was delicious! Today, I went there around 11 a.m., with my friend again to eat. I tried the fish and chips so yummy. The best fish ever! My friend ordered the cheese burger. It was very, very good. Scrumptious. **Our best compliments to the chefs Joe and Chantel. The food is definitely a 10+/10.** Every time we stay in Medicine Hat, we always love going to Silver Buckle. Thank you kindly to our server and to the chefs 👩‍🍳 👨‍🍳 and management for your wonderful hospitality. I definitely recommend Silver Buckle. I will be back next time I travel through or if I am staying the night.

Great place. Patio lunch is perfect today!! They have the best french onion, I grew up with french onion soup!! And steak sandwich!! I had it with caesar salad, and a club soda. Yummy. Steak sandwich with a side and if you add a drink, 8.99$!! Drink not included loll...just to have it at that price. Hard to beat!!! Excellent service!! Highly recomnend!!

Enjoyed a very fine lunch here with friends. A couple steak sandwiches "best in town" according to my local friend & I tend to agree with him on this point. She ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. A bucket of Corona's for us & a Caesar for her paired nicely with our deliciously full entrees. Waitress Janae is awesome👌. We shall return should the opportunity present itself.
Gerry S — Google review
The steak sandwich $9 was very tender and tasty and thick. Mmmmmm. I’m not sure i would call it a sandwich as it came with one thick slice of toasted bread and a side of fries or onion rings. Next time I would try the onion rings. The fries were crispy but they weren’t fresh cut. You have to order a drink to get the steak sandwich deal. We also ordered the pizza and wing combo which was also good. Lots of seating and there was a room specifically dedicated to watching the game in a big screen. Our server was friendly and it looked like she was the only one serving the area on a Monday night.
L J — Google review
The steak sandwich was once a top reason for people to frequent the establishment. I recently went there for the steak sandwich because they put it back on the menu, and was appalled. The serving staff fully acted as if our presence was an inconvenience and they did not want to be there. The on duty manager would not put his phone down and help us. And the food? To say that the quality had declined is a gross understatement. Poorly cooked and poorly presented. Sour dough toast with no garlic butter. Overcooked canned mushrooms. A thimble of gravy which was alright considering the meager amount of fries on the plate. Once upon a time in the not so distant past I recommended this place to everyone. Now, however, the entire experience was greatly lacking in all aspects that contribute to even a mediocre dining experience. 10 out of 10 no longer recommend.
Tony A — Google review
It's been years since I last visited, but the place still looks great. I ordered the wings and they were absolutely on point. Stopped by in the early afternoon, so it wasn't too busy — which was nice. Tried a few of the craft beers (wish I remembered the names!) but I enjoyed every one of them. The staff was friendly and wonderful throughout. Definitely planning to revisit when I'm back in town
Katrina B — Google review
My mom had heard that the Silver Buckle had the best steak sandwich in Medicine Hat, so when I was in town visiting, we went to check it out. No lie, one of the best steak sandwiches I have ever had, and it was ridiculously inexpensive. Had onion rings with it, they were fantastic. My wife had a pizza and it was very good. It is a bar, so it is dark as night inside, and it looked a bit sketchy when you drive up and walk in, but don't let that fool you. The service was excellent, our waitress was very friendly, very helpful, and patient with my elderly parents. I highly recommend it if you ever find yourself in Medicine Hat with hunger pains setting in.

Renowned for its mouthwatering prime rib and succulent steaks, this restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by exceptional service. Guests have praised the attentive staff, like Melynda, who ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Delicious food. Attentive service. Relaxing atmosphere. Not for one to dine here if on a budget, but for those who wish to splurge and spoil yourself, this is the place to do it!

We had our anniversary dinner here! It was delicious, great service & good experience. We would recommend and we will be back.
Emily T — Google review
The Beefeater is overall a good restaurant, stymied only by its high prices and crowded nature. The food I had was very good, the steak was cooked to order, and the accompaniments were equally well cooked. The food arrived with little wait, and was served with good service. The issue was the price, this restaurant is significantly more expensive than comparable restaurants in the city. While the food is good, the steep prices do not seem justified. Additionally, the restaurant has lots of seating and this crowded atmosphere can be very loud, I had a hard time hearing my wife sitting across from me at times. The decor was nice, clean, and did present a cozy aura in my opinion.

Always treated very well. Food is served as ordered, and the dining room is always very clean, and white linen on tables just adds a finishing touch to the overall atmosphere.

Nice ambience, nice service, nice T-bone, nice turtle cake, and nice group of like-minded friends made a very pleasant event.

I cannot recommend this place enough. I got the 10oz sirloin, med-rare. And let me tell you when this thing was JUICY. Boyfriend got the filet mignon and well, it cut like butter. If you have the time, and the money, I would high recommend. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food came out fast, and even then it was cooked to perfection. The gravy, French fries, potatoes, the salad... all of it. Just super delicious. Ps. If you can, get the strawberry daiquiri, it was delicious!

A Fantastic Experience at The Beefeater Steakhouse! We had dinner at The Beefeater Steakhouse in Medicine Hat last night, and honestly, it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the place had a great vibe - warm, welcoming, and a little upscale without being stuffy. We were looked after by Simone, the Assistant Manager, and Brittney, who’s currently in training. Both of them were absolutely wonderful - friendly, professional, and really on top of things. Service like that is hard to come by these days, and they made the whole experience even better. We both had the prime rib, which was cooked perfectly - tender, juicy, and full of flavour. What we really loved though, was the baked potato service. They actually bring a carousel to your table with all the toppings - butter, sour cream, chives, bacon bits - and serve it right there. It’s been decades since we’ve seen that done, and it added such a fun, nostalgic touch. The restaurant itself feels classy, with linen tablecloths and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in what they do, from the food to the service to the setting. They say on their website that it’s a dining experience unlike anything else in Medicine Hat - and we have to agree. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town. If you're passing through or live nearby, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

It was our Anniversary and I want to take my wife to a special place. The Beefeater Steakhouse seemed a little pricy. But but the portions you get are a good size. And they were delicious. The service was great. And it was refreshing to see the female staff there were dressed modestly. All those good things are hard to find. Excellent place. I will have to try their lunch menu one day.

Day 2

East side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the east side side of town. Start the day off with Big Marble Go Centre, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Swirls Ice Cream - Medicine Hat Original. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Recreation center
The Big Marble Go Centre, previously known as the Family Leisure Centre, offers a variety of activities for visitors throughout the year. The aquatic park features pools, a lazy river, waterslide, hot tub, and steam room. Additionally, there are drop-in fitness classes and free public skating sponsored by The Kinsmen Club of Medicine Hat.
This is a very nice facility for the city. However, they could use more seating for hockey and swim meets. They do have a nice wave pool with a lazy river plus a hockey rink that offers public skating. We enjoy taking the grandkids here as there is always something for them to do.
Arose58 — Google review
This facility is excellent with plenty of options and a clean environment, though parking can be challenging during the busy season.

Really nice facility, staff are extra helpful ( I guess that's the plus of visiting a smaller city) very busy in the main foyer but once I got to the gym it was so big and spread out it felt empty. Couldn't use the hot tub till public swimming which is different then most places but still a great place to burn some energy. Also little kid lacrosse is very entertaining
Chris S — Google review
So fun! Great facility! Wave pool was super fun for a family pass of $23! 2 concessions including Booster Juice. Small play structure for younger kids. Big play structure outside. Soccer fields. Ice rink. Super busy place
Ashley D — Google review
Kids always have fun here. The pool is great when not too crowded. They always enjoy the slide and rope swing. Booster Juice is available and always a great treat. We bring our students here for swimming lessons. I haven't worked out in the gym or used the floors but there is always people using them or the ice rink for something.
Paige M — Google review
Purchased family passes many times, lots of letdowns when we arrive to swim and the place is being used for lessons or unknown activities. So this weekend we wanted to go on Saturday and Sunday as our passes run out on Monday. We arrived and sure enough both pools are closed. Didn't even ask why , we just left knowing we waste a lot of time coming here. Leaving disappointed is becoming a common thing at this place. They don't even offer you to come back for a free swim once the passes expire. No apology from the from desk. NOT RECOMENDED AT ALL...... EVER
BabyJoker — Google review
This is a beautiful facility. I use both the gym and the lane pool. There is a lot of equipment in the gym, and the pool is refreshing for lane swimming, not too hot. I enjoy the hottub after as well.

OH MY GOSH!! If you are looking for a full-sized ice rink, a swimming pool where you can do laps, a hot tab, a sauna, a wave pool, gymnasiums, an indoor walking/running track, every kind of workout equipment possible then this place is the perfect place for you. It has exercise classes in Zumba, and more, too. And you can even take a tour. There are different pass options.

Cafe
Station Coffee Co. is a popular and highly recommended café located in downtown Medicine Hat. It offers a spacious and authentic atmosphere with local characteristics, including a patio at the back. The menu includes delicious options such as flat white coffee and honey ham and cheddar sandwiches, along with excellent scones, coffee, tea, and tempting cheesecakes on display. Other top cafes in the area include Cafe Verve and Madhatter Coffee Roastery for those seeking quality coffee experiences.
I’m a sucker for good carrot cake. This place must in-house bake because it’s so fresh. But what’s really great the coffee. I don’t know why it taste so good here? Is it the atmosphere? The friendly service? Whenever I come into town, I always try to do breakfast here and half the time I’m there for lunch too. It never gets old.
Michael S — Google review
I haven't been here for about 3 years, but I had a meeting scheduled here. I was very impressed by the service. The staff was friendly and welcoming, even offering me tap water if I didn't want to buy bottle water. After the meeting, I decided to order a scone and sausage roll to take home. Both were very good, and I would make the trip back just for the bake goods.
Arose58 — Google review
I had a latte. Very very good. I don't usually get the flavoured latte's but this is definitely the best caramel latte I've ever had. Tastes like real caramel. 10/10. It's a bit pricey but it is excellent and way better than starbucks or any other major chain coffee place. The atmosphere is excellent. Lots of seating and the back is an open patio with fresh air rolling in. Very nice coffee shop.

Forget just being the coolest coffee shop in Medicine Hat, it's my favorite in all of Alberta and then some. Can't go wrong with anything here. Their baking is amazing too, including a gluten free selection, all in house.

For early coffee cravers, Station Coffee opens at 7! Add Tony’s delicious, artisan prepared on site breakfast choices and be ready for the day. Check out their menu for brunch, lunch and afternoon snacks. They have a great variety to choose from and daily specials. Be sure to try something new every time. Plenty of seating to visit with friends and colleagues for memorable, happy hours. The raw brick walls, pillars and the layout of Station coffee shop add to the experience. Against the brick walls are treasures from local artists to discover. Pottery, paintings, mugs, unique stickers, coffee beans and so much more. The servers are fast, accurate and used to taking many orders between quick chats and welcoming smiles. Many visitors passing through Medicine Hat claim this coffee shop to be a must stop. Thumbs up for this coffee uniquely crafted shop.

What a delightful coffee shop. Too many great food options to choose from but I settled for the buttered chicken naan sandwich which was delicious, and a iced green tea matcha latte which was very good. The cafe was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and is fully accessible for wheelchairs. Would definitely recommend visiting.

I love this place. 😍 Every time I come I can't resist the desserts on display. It's always something different. Today was strawberry shortcake croissants, absolutely incredible 😋 also have all items available as decaf or lactose free! Beautiful place as well, also have a back deck to enjoy in the summer 👌 this is my favorite food joint I have to go to when I come to the hat. P.S - the coffee crisp cheesecake was insane!

Really cute cafe with a great variety of sweets and savories to enjoy with your coffee/tea/drink of choice. Lots of indoor seating that's kept clean and some neat local art. Their tomato soup was the perfect warm up from being out in the cold too.

The Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre in Medicine Hat is a vibrant cultural hub that showcases the city's rich history and artistic expression. Located on traditional Blackfoot territory, this contemporary Canadian architectural marvel offers a diverse range of experiences, including art exhibitions, museum displays, live performances, and educational programs. Visitors can explore the city's heritage through the permanent exhibit while also enjoying rotating art displays and engaging in theatrical productions.
My first visit here and it is a incredible facility that culminates multiply facets of culture. From art to live performance and a historical museum of the region. When I was visiting their was a powerful exhibit by Jude Grobiel on humans impact on the earth that I found profound and engaging.
Chris I — Google review
Provocative subject matter in the exhibit, relating to society's cultural expectations of men. The historical section was very detailed. We thoroughly enjoyed this gem.
Susan S — Google review
We had our wedding here and it not only was The Esplanade a beautiful place for our wedding, but the staff went above and beyond to make everything run incredibly smoothly! From setting up our tables and chairs (for both ceremony and reception), to coming to get me from the "bridal room" once everyone was seated on the terrace, giving us full access of their sound systems, and helping us with the little odds and ends that were forgotten about that day - they could not have impressed us any more! The price for all that we got was also amazing! It's a beautifully updated place for a wedding that needs minimum decorating, and many options to make the day the way you want it!

This place is a must when visiting MH. It has one permanent exhibition that's amazing and two rotating exhibits. The lady in the entrance is very helpful. The kids can do a scavenger hunt looking for different pieces from the exhibitions. I visited in two occasions (summer last year and spring this year). Great place to take the kids, last time they had an activity area and my son loved it!

I love the Esplanade! There is always an incredible art show going on in the gallery, and the historical museum is so awesome - so interactive and filled with fascinating artefacts from the area. Plus, there's a kids area with amazing books and self directed activities - including the ProCreate app on an iPad that my artist daughter loves!

Swirls Ice Cream is a beloved spot in Medicine Hat, having served its community for over 30 years. This seasonal ice cream joint operates from a small corner location and offers a unique soft serve experience that's been described as thick, rich, and reminiscent of Greek yogurt. The establishment also serves milkshakes and offers a variety of ice cream choices sourced from Foothills Creamery.
A must-eat in Medicine Hat! The cookie dough artic swirl from this shop puts Dairy Queen’s Blizzard to shame. Absolutely delicious — don’t miss it!

So i haven't been to Swirls for at least ten years. My experience tonight will be the last. It started about 6 weeks ago when a neighbor enticed my wife an i to come with her for a treat. It was great that time. So a week later we reciprocate the treat and my milkshake was quite bland for being a raspberry. 2 weeks later the same shake wasn't mixed. Tonight was so thick that the straw collapsed. I just about went back to get my $8.20 large milkshake back but took this route instead. Seems the longer you have to stand in line, the less attention to quality. I know there alot worse thing to complain about like a stupid expencive milkshake. Whatever!

Milkshakes were decent, really only place to grab an cream. I believe the ice cream is from Foothills Creamery. Near that they had a cash line and a debit line. I liked at first the ATM machine, then kinda got the sketchy card skimming vibe from it. Lots of choices to pick from ice cream wise. Lots of parking No public washrooms Walk up style buying Easy to get from the highway if driving through We are from out of town and would stop again

This is the most authentic ice cream place to go and experiment with all sorts and flavours of ice-cream 🍦. Plus the seating around the outside of the ice-cream parlour is special also. During my recent visit to Medicine Hat, I had the pleasure of dining at Sabai Infusion Restaurant, a delightful spot that truly captures the essence of authentic Thai cuisine. After a long travel day with my baby, we opted for takeout from this charming eatery recommended by local friends. The dimly lit ambiance adorned with gold chandeliers creates an inviting atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a busy day.
The owners are both amazing and wonderful people. I had my usual vermicelli bowl with all the fixings. Spring rolls are made in house and are delicious. The crab puffs are also divine. The beef noodle soup is also a favorite of mine, the broth is made in house and always has amazing flavor! I definitely recommend stopping by and trying a few things off the menu!

Ordered myself a Tom Yom soup from this pretty establishment. Gotta say for a large Tom yum soup with chicken for 21 bucks with tip, this is an incredibly small portion. I get it, times are tough but same goes for people that have to eat after they eat. It was good, what was there. Won't be back

This is our favourite place to eat in Medicine Hat. The owners are absolutely incredible and so genuine. We take all our family and friends visiting from out of town and they always love it. Their food is always consistently good, reasonably priced, and 10/10 service for dining in. If you're in Medicine Hat definitely check it out- you'll be supporting a local business and you won't be disappointed.

4 of us enjoyed a wonderful Monday lunch. Our server Sigh brought us all waters to begin. Appetizers included Mango Salad, Thai Chicken Dumpling, Creamy Crab Puff & Salad Roll. We shared 2 Deluxe Rice Vermicelli Bowls with Spring Roll & Shrimp. 1 added Grilled Chicken & the other Beef. Very tasty & service was impressive. We shall return should the opportunity present itself.

I had the mango salad and Thai lettuce wrap and loved them both. I did give up on trying to wrap the food and mixed it all together like a vermicelli bowl instead, as the lettuce was all shapes and sizes. Great service. Clean bathrooms as well. Beautiful interior.

I have eaten here a few times. Food is generally good, but portion sizes are quite small. If you are a big eater or really hungry you will likely not be satisfied. For a light meal you will be OK.

Casa Amigos Cantina is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With a menu brimming with flavorful Mexican dishes, guests rave about the chicken enchiladas and platters, which are both hearty and delicious. The vibrant atmosphere feels like stepping into a unique eatery in the States, enhanced by fantastic decor and upbeat service. Patrons appreciate the decent tequila selection but suggest adding some premium options like Clase Azul or Casamigos for an elevated experience.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere and great food. We were referred there by a dear friend who had been assisted by Chris and Shauna during a very difficult situation. We were treated incredibly well and had a wonderful time. The service, atmosphere, and food were outstanding. They are wonderful people running a wonderful restaurant! As a side note, there’s some construction in the area. There is still lots of parking close by and it’s well worth a very short walk! Don’t change a thing!

Hail Server Hannah the Queen. She was thoughtful and curtious. Servers take note! She came at appropriate times to see if we needed anything, brought us water, even though we didn't ask, made sure we had all the things we needed. She knows her stuff. If only we had service like that at the other establishments we visited that evening. Thank you Hannah!

This was one of the best meals I've had in quite a while. We had the chicken enchiladas and the platous. Both were fantastic. We will definitely be back again. Decent tequila selection too! My only recommendation would be to get some ultra high end tequilas, like Clase Azul, and they should definitely have Casamigos tequila! Service was great, and our food came quickly. The decor is fantastic too.

Great place that frequently has live music. Sometimes the bands are really great, like when Paint Drying was in town. Other times they have Karaoke and Trivia nights. $4 for a can of PBR is quite reasonable, and if you a fan of margaritas you definitely have to check this place out. Their food is pretty great from what I've tried, Tuesday is $5 taco 🌮 day and Thursday is all day happy hour. A true gem in downtown Medicine Hat.

Casa Amigos is an absolute gem! The mocktails were refreshing, the chips and salsa perfectly crisp and flavorful. My fajitas were sizzling and packed with taste, while the enchiladas were rich and delicious. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. This place was awesome! Lots of flavor in the food, and it is filling as well. I had the enchiladas. Loved it! And the guacamole was excellent! Huge praise to this place. I can’t believe today was my first time visiting this hidden gem. The atmosphere was cozy, modern, and so beautiful, you can tell a lot of heart and soul went into the creation of this place, not only the place but the food, and their workers. The menu was nothing short of intriguing with unique eats, as well as absolutely delicious. I watched some plates being brought out, in awe. When ours hit our table the presentation was top notch. I could have spent all day in there. Admiring their decor, local artist knick-knacks, art, and all of the wonderful quotes and especially the attention to detail. We were welcomed by wonderful service all around, smiling faces. A specific server stood out to me, I didn’t catch her name but she was lovely to meet, she gave me a great recommendation on the meal I had; the Philly cheesesteak w/ fries, I enjoyed every bite. Not only was her recommendation spot on, her vibe and energy was unmatched. I absolutely will be going here again, many times. Truly, thank you for such a wonderful experience. A must go!!

A nice unique cafe with homemade food and eclectic drink options. There is a patio area for nice days as well as plenty of inside tables. I had the beef barley soup, which was very good with chunks of beef and was a meal itself.

This used to be one of my favorite places. I loved their food especially the avocado breakfasts. Yesterday, I went back and ordered an avocado sandwich, but it was burned. I also asked the staff to make my cappuccino in a larger cup, but the staff member didn’t understand me and responded with a visibly upset or unfriendly attitude. I understand things can happen, but when you come to a cafe you want to relax not absorb negative energy.

Can’t say anything bad about this location, from the location, and the environment. Was looking for a place to have a full breakfast mid-week around Medicine Hat down town area. After calling a few spots and unable to find breakfast served during the week, decided to try this spot. Very pleasant staff, fair pricing and delicious food. Eggs Benedict was some of the best sauce I’ve had, and the sausage was good. Hashbrowns amazing. Little gem, glad I stopped by, will be back. (Coffee was good, and strength good w/ the light brew)

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar in Medicine Hat offers a delightful blend of classic steak and seafood dishes, all served in a stylish yet relaxed environment. Diners rave about the exceptional quality of their meals, from perfectly cooked filet mignon to delectable lobster, complemented by an impressive selection of wines like Silver Gate. The ambiance strikes a balance between warmth and sophistication, making it an ideal spot for special occasions or casual outings alike.
Went out a birthday dinner at the Keg Medicine Hat. It was a wonderful experience overall. The restaurant was clean and well appointed. We were attended to by very attentive staff who accommodated one diner's gluten and lactose sensitivity. We had the filet mignon, one regular and one with blue cheese. They were delicious and done to our specs. Our waitress was very efficient and attentive without being intrusive. Overall a very good first impression and we would recommend this to friends and we will return in the future. Note we had already ruined the very nice presentation on the plates because we dug in before remembering to take photos.

Staying at the hotel I got 10% off my meal. I ordered a fillet mignon, seasonal roasted veggies with peppercorn sauce. I always order medium, bang on the cook temp. Veggies were cooked perfect, beats, beans, broccoli, asparagus and peppers. Staff were friendly. Clean washrooms. Ample parking. Good Keg, I’d go again.

The Keg never disappoints. Took a couple of clients out to the Keg last week during their Lobster fest. Steaks cooked to perfection as usual and our server, Ethan did a fantastic job serving us while checking up on us constantly. When it comes to an exceptional steak, The Keg is tough to beat.

"An unforgettable dining experience at The Keg Steakhouse! From the mouthwatering steak and lobster to the delightful Silver Gate wine, every bite and sip surpassed expectations. The ambience exhibits warmth and sophistication, making it the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The friendly staff added to the overall charm, providing top-notch customer service. Highly recommend for anyone looking to indulge in exquisite cuisine and impeccable hospitality!"

Fantastic menu, stunning atmosphere and the 10% hotel discount doesn't hurt either 👀. Would absolutely go back for another round of escargot and blackened chicken!

Higher level dining experience, We even had the pleasure of having a trainee as a part of our service, very friendly and it was nice to see the more experienced servers supporting and encouraging them. Great teamwork
Meagan T — Google review
Food was excellent - steaks, salmon, lobster were all great. However, service was not. A pile of plates with cutlery was just dropped off at the edge of the table for us to pass around to each person. For the prices, we expected the waitress to refill the wine glasses but we had to continuously do this ourselves. The waitress walked past our table several time avoiding eye contact despite empty wine and water glasses. The worst part was getting our bill before we were done and the waitress standing there waiting for payment. We were there for another full hour finishing drinks and not a single server came by to check on us or anything. At one point we had to get up and walk to the bar for drink refills!! It’s too bad the service is so terrible when the food was so good.

Heard so many good reviews about this restaurant and I agree. Good place to have a date night with your special someone and even your whole family. I just think they should add more to their servings though because it's a bit pricey for its worth.

LOCAL Public Eatery in Medicine Hat is a popular downtown spot known for its craft beer, hand-pressed burgers, and globally inspired dishes. During the summer months, the bustling eatery extends its patio to include the boardwalk, where dogs are welcome to join their owners. The restaurant offers a great outdoor setup in the heart of downtown and serves a wide selection of beverages including options from local breweries and distilleries.
Great vibes, live music was on point and the atmosphere was awesome. Service was quick and timely, prices were alright. The food choices were pretty standard pub food and not the best to be honest, but we enjoyed the house lagers and for a place with live music with no cover, it was hard to beat

We had dinner at this nice little pub/restaurant in the heart of Medicine Hat on Friday night. The weather was perfect, so I sat out on their patio and enjoyed the ambiance. The drinks were good, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a great experience.

Look, I get it. Nobody is perfect and there is always room for improvement. So here’s the real deal. I’m not one to just leave a review…however I am one to give credit where credit is due! I’d give them more stars cause this place just doesn’t disappoint. We had lunch today and as usual the fish tacos hit the spot. Throw in some wings on special and a couple drinks made for a great chill out. It’s been a challenging day so I wanted something to eat and in Medicine Hat it’s easy to be disappointed and left feeling unsatisfied. That’s just how I feel. Great music, great staff and great flavours make for a better day!! Keep it up Local, you made my lunch awesome and lifted my spirits!! That’s priceless and guarantees I’ll be back!!

The restaurant is very nice. I went on taco Tuesday and they had a few different tacos to choose from. I got fish tacos and they were excellent. Even got an order to go after a few drinks. I door dashed the burger and I was amazing as well. A must stop place for sure.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Clear gluten friendly options on the menu. Staff were knowledgeable on making sure gluten friendly food was made as safe as possible. Kid friendly, fast service.

We overall thought this place was pretty good. Really nice, big patio but the music was too loud underneath the speakers to enjoy conversation. Service was efficient but not exactly personable.. maybe it was near end of shift? The food was actually really tasty, but for the price, the portion was quite small..I could've eaten 3 or 4 times the amount served. Overall though, pretty good spot for a weekend pop in.

We came around 7. We were told to grab a seat wherever. We sat for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or brought us a menu. The two servers who greeted us at the door were standing at the front visiting with one another. Another waitress was visiting at another table with customers. Finally the waitress came to get our drink order. She was efficient but I wouldn't call her friendly. We would say "thank you" and she would say - nothing. Wouldn't even crack a little smile. Just walked away. The food was O.K. We were not given side plates and had to ask for them as we had ordered appetizers. We also never received any water. We noticed they drowned all of our food in A LOT of sauce. The hot honey chicken is in fact not hot honey. It was sitting in a pool of thai sweet chili sauce with more sweet chili sauce on top of the chicken. The shrimp dumplings were swimming in a type of soy sauce mix as well as drizzled in sauce, and the edamame.... Sooo saucy, more like a peanut sauce. I personally don't want a ton of sticky sauce on my edamame when I'm eating them with my fingers, they should be lightly seasoned, that's it. And the part that gets me every time at almost every restaurant, is when you get the bill and the server brings over the debit machine and suddenly is extremely interested in your life and what you're up to the rest of the night, where you're from, what you do for work, etc when during the entire dinner service they barely acknowledged your existence. I rate the overall experience 3 stars. The atmosphere is there, if they could chill out on drowning the food in sauces it would actually be really really good. And maybe a better system of not telling people to sit wherever they want and then leave them sitting there with nothing for ten minutes. And the friendliness, maybe she had a rough night or maybe it's just her. I don't know. I'll let it slide. But not sure I'll be back.
R V — Google review
I was hoping that this would be a nice lunch for me and my wife, but I found that the food was very disappointing, and the Shirley Temple my wife ordered tasted off. The food was delivered in a timely manner, by friendly staff, but found to be fairly uninspired and bland. My wife had a burger which was too mediocre to be worth the price being charged. It tasted as though all the ingredients were either frozen, or had been left in the open for too long. My food was alright, but utterly forgettable. The service was good, and the waitress often visited to check up on us, without being overbearing. I was also disappointed with how loud it was, despite us sitting outside and it being fairly quiet, a group nearby was loud enough to make it difficult for my wife and I to hear each other. It's possible this was a one-off event, but given the amazing choices in the city, we'll be unlikely to return often.

Police Point Park is a sprawling 97.7-hectare riverfront park located in Medicine Hat, offering a range of outdoor activities and natural experiences. The park features walking and cycling trails, including paved paths suitable for wheelchairs, spanning 8 km through scenic landscapes along the South Saskatchewan River. Visitors can explore ancient cottonwood trees, observe wildlife such as bald eagles and white-tailed deer, and participate in interpretive programs at the nature centre.
Great views and nice day for a hike. Saw lots of migratory birds here. Finches, Says Phoebe, Northern Flickers, Kestrels, Starlings. Not busy and no bugs. Lots of shells on the dry creek bed below.

This was a great park to go walking in. It is large and has many different trails, not only for walking but also for cross country skiing or snowshoeing in the winter. The scenery and vegetation is quite nice, you see wildlife such as deer, rabbits and birds. If you are a tree lover, such as myself, you will thoroughly enjoy the different shaped trees, standing or on the ground. There are many benches throughout the park and along pathways for breaks or just to stop and take it all in, this park also has public washrooms which is always a plus with a long walk and lots of water drinking 😉. I look forward to visiting again next time I am in Medicine Hat!

Lovely little riverside country park. This park is bordered on three sides by a meandering bend of the South Seskatchewan river. The bend will eventually become an oxbow lake! The park is semi wooded and has many paths throughout, both surfaced and dirt. There is evidence of beavers felling trees although it looks as if this activity has been "managed" by the authorities! There is a visitor centre with a car park although it was closed during my visit. The park is used by many for activities such as dog walking, cycling and jogging. The perimeter path runs along the bank of the river and provides opportunities to see local wildlife such as squirrels, deer and also fantastic views of the river.

This place is so beautiful 😍. Definitely a MUST visit to anyone in or out of Medicine Hat. All the pictures you see in the reviews...this place is all that and more. You can start by visiting the nature centre and leave some donation if you like . Then you just enjoy a great walk with an awesome view.
Ida S — Google review
Amazing place to come, wonderful paths with lots of animals and birds around. Nice and scenic with both paved and shale paths to walk. Cross country skiing in the winter. The staff at the nature center are helpful, kind and courteous! Will definitely return!
Mitchell G — Google review
A favourite place of ours to walk, bird watch and look for other wildlife. Nicely kept trails with benches and garbage cans along the route to rest and dispose of waste. We went down the river bank this time and walked around the island. Very quiet and serene this afternoon.

Nature preserved in the city, great paths, with availability of cross country ski and snow shoeing in the winter, Fishing all seasons and just walking and enjoying nature.

Really nice paths. I find during sunset or even in the dark these paths are more beautiful. Cool wildlife as Well during the evening.

Japanese restaurant
If you're on the hunt for an exceptional dining experience, look no further than Takumi Japanese Restaurant. Nestled in a cozy space with only about ten seats, this hidden gem is a must-visit for any sushi or ramen enthusiast. Chef SeHo, who has honed his culinary skills over 27 years across cities like Seoul and Tokyo, brings a wealth of expertise to every dish he creates.
Takumi’s Japanese restaurant is a tiny, super authentic restaurant that makes some of the best Japanese cuisine in Medicine Hat! This restaurant is a one man show and the chef takes a lot of pride in his food. He has cooked internationally, from Korea to Japan and I was shocked to see him working in our little town. The restaurant is small, and has seating for around ten people, so be sure to make reservations, as he works hard and fast. He does takeout as well. But be warned that they often have to turn people away or you might have to get it as takeout instead, as it’s usually very busy. The staff is super friendly and very kind though. The sushi is fabulous, the homemade, crispy pork gyoza are amazing, the yuzu chicken karage and poke salad are top notch! The ramen though, is crazy good; I have had the black truffle ramen and curry ramen and they are ridiculously delicious. The truffle toro aburi nigiri is a must try too. Amazing food from one lone chef; Medicine Hat is lucky to have Takumi! Great sushi too!

Stopped by on our way through town on a whim. Are we glad we did. A must eat if you enjoy the best sushi. The chef has 30 years of experience.
Bogart H — Google review
The sashimi quality is fine, especially for a place like Medicine Hat. However, the rolls are simply atrocious. I am not even that picky about my rice, but this was the wrong kind of rice and so overcooked it was a sticky, gummy mess that clings to my teeth and makes it hard to eat. I've eaten grocery store sushi rolls that were better.
Kyna T — Google review
Good: fish quality is fairly decent. What id expect from a decent sushi place in edmonton, maybe an above avg place in calgary. Miso soup was fine. Although of course hard to mess that up too much. Bad: rice for the rolls were not cooked properly. Its obvious from the pictures. Its just standard chinese jasmine rice. Way too soggy, it was basically sticky rice or even soggier. Some of the sushi pieces you couldnt even see a grain of rice and it was just a solid mass of rice. Cant tell if this is proper sushi rice with how poorly it was cooked. That is just not acceptable. Salad was over sauced as well to the point there was a good like 5 mm of vinegarette in the bowl.
Kelvin Y — Google review
Best sushi in southern Alberta, better than any I've had in Calgary. The couple that runs this place has taken quite the journey to get here--Korea, Tokyo, San Francisco... Regina? Medicine Hat? We'll happily take them, no questions asked. Favourites: aburi-style (torched) nigiri; salmon, toro (tuna belly), and hamachi nigiri, Lion King roll; miso ramen. But you can't go wrong.
Andrew K — Google review
Had an amazing meal here. Tables are limited but worth the wait. Truffle ramen, salmon rolls, salmon Maki were all fantastic. I would highly recommend coming here.
Jason N — Google review
Everyone who lives in town knows this is one of the best places to eat. Certainly, it is the best place to get sushi. Personally, the chicken Karaage and Bulgogi rice bowl are my favourite, very flavourful and absolutely addictive. The prices are fair for the food you get, and is comparable to similar establishments. The service is prompt and always done with a smile. There is limited seating available, and so it can be hard to get in, but take-out as an option mitigates this. Absolutely recommend, and I take all my guests here at least once!
Chris V — Google review
Best Nigiri and Ramen I have had to date. Very small location only 4-5 tables but worth it if you can get a table. Seems like they do a lot of take out,

Medalta in the Historic Clay District is a restored factory that now serves as an industrial museum, ceramic art gallery, and cultural event space. Visitors can book pottery throwing experiences in advance or attend weekend classes. Private lessons with the artist-in-residence are also available for those with limited time. The museum and gallery offer a glimpse into Medicine Hat's industrial history, showcasing the century-old factory's legacy of exporting clay products worldwide.
Medalta pottery in the historic clay district of Medicine Hat, Albert is very interesting and historic museum on the production of pottery. This was the century old factory that produced most of the pottery that was made for western Canada. They even produced everything that was needed for the Canadian military during the wars. Back in the day, to survive the winter, Canadians had to preserve their food, and this is where the containers came to do that. They produced a wide selection of dishes and pottery for many uses. The massive kilns still stand and you can walk inside them and imagine the heat and smoke that they would have produced. There is also a collection of antiques and you can tour the factory floor. It is a very well maintained and preserved site and very interesting and informative. You can see the entire process from harvesting the clay to the final product. I recommend watching the video there, as it has old footage showing the factory in action and how it was all created. My aunt was a ceramic shop owner from Vancouver and she was in her glory. As someone who loves history, I definitely learned something that I didn’t know about our country. Well worth a visit and check out their gift shop too!
Kevin J — Google review
Would definitely recommend visiting as you don’t need to chunk out too much time from your day. Was very aesthetic and learning the whole mass pottery production process was quite fascinating. If you are into niche museums and find yourself in Medicine Hat I’d definitely make the stop!
Andre D — Google review
Interesting museum but it’s small and only takes 30-45 minutes to get through so the $15 admission isn’t justified. Staff are super friendly tho!
Ella M — Google review
It’s so nice to look around. I’m not interested in pottery and such but it was genuinely a pleasant experience. I went for “Cross The Ocean” opening, which allowed us to explore the museum. The staff are kind, especially Jolina. Recommend coming here to explore.

A true gem - very informative museum with lots of stuff to see. Be aware: It is all about Pottery, no Disneyland or Harry Potter. But it is extremly well made and informative. Loved it and highly recommended!!

Awesome place to visit. Excellent displays. So much interesting history. Worth the drive.
Cindy M — Google review
What a disappointment. There is considerable potential here and it was a big let down to visit - this place has so much hype as a mecca in the ceramic world but justice was not done with the exhibition; and as a visitor, it almost felt like they didn't want us to be there. We were greeted with little more than ambivalence, handed a pamphlet, and sent on our walk about through the old building and gallery collection. The self guided tour was lackluster and didn't share much about the stories of the people who have been involved with Medalta at all - mostly just the pottery making process. Not even that much actual history, comparatively. Sure, the process is interesting- ish but there's nothing to connect to there and it frankly comes off as "we were cool once but we peaked 100 years ago and its been all downhill from there". Hype it up, make it more engaging and memorable. People connect with other people - you need to share stories to bring history to life. The museum dropped the ball on this and frankly I'd rather not have seen it as now my regard is diminished. They say you should never meet your idols, and Medalta has proved that true. Even the "faces of Medalta" section on the little pamphlet only has 2 actual human faces with a tiny snippet of relevancy - the other 4 entities are not even people! Come on. You could even highlight famous as artists that worked at Medalta. Give us something to connect to. People travel from over the world to see this historic place. Do better.
Melanya K — Google review
It was amazing walking around the original factory and seeing the original Pottery, machinery, and kilns. I loved the displays of the different types of Pottery and how they were used so many years ago. Ending with a visit to the gift shop. It was a worthwhile trip. I would highly recommend this as a stop when you are in Medicine Hat.

During my recent adventure in Medicine Hat, I stumbled upon a gem known as Medicine Hat Pizza and Donair. With a few hours to spare while my wife prepared for her concert, I decided to indulge in some pizza—a decision that turned out to be absolutely delightful! The moment I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted by a clean and cozy atmosphere that set the stage for an enjoyable meal. I kicked off my culinary journey with their pizza, wings, and donair.
My wife and I visited here and had the bacon chicken ranch pizza, and I was very impressed. The pizza was fresh, hot, and tasty, and the service was very good. We also tried the samosas and I enjoyed them as the had the right amount of heat. We definitely will be back. There is also off street customer parking available.

Drove from Milk River to Medicine Hat as my wife is playing a concert later on today. I was left alone to explore the city for a few hours and get lunch. I love eating pizza so I decided to stop into medicine hat pizza and donair and I'm sure glad I did. The pizza is to die for. The fresh toppings on top, fresh dough, cooked properly, amazing value. Can't beat the price. The establishment is very clean and the booths allow for a cozy atmosphere to sit and enjoy conversations. There are soo many other options on the menu to try and pictures that show off the product. Instead of throwing away your money at chain restaurants, How about giving this local business a go. The owner and her sons are so personable to chat with and her 2 sons just want to help their mom out as often as they can. I saw the one son bring in products for his mom all at once and then said to me after we chatted for a few moments that he has to get on the road to Calgary. Please support this local business as they continue to support the city of Medicine Hat.

On our first visit, we had the pizza, wings, and a donair. Everything was fresh, delicious, and loaded with toppings. The crust on the pizza was cooked perfectly, and the donair was filled with flavourful meat and the sauce was great. The service was super friendly, and the owner was amazing. The food was so good, we came back the very next day to try more from the menu. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the rice was fluffy, and the naan was perfect. You can really tell everything is made with care and pride. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Medicine Hat Pizza Absolutely loved the pizza here! You can really taste the quality of their ingredients — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I especially appreciate how many customization options they offer. They make it so easy to create exactly the pizza you’re craving, and they genuinely care about getting it right. Such a great experience — will definitely be back! 🍕

Stopped in tonight and intended on just a small pizza and donair. Ended up leaving with a whole bunch of East Indian goodies too! I had a great experience here. Such a lovely women taking our order. Fresh dough ( you can tell) quality cheese and just an all around special experience Thanks! I'll be back

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. I ordered a donair sandwich and she had a Greek salad with chicken wings. The food was decent and the portion sizes were large. Service was friendly, although it did take a little while for the food to come out. The restaurant was clean and had a casual atmosphere. One downside was that the washrooms seemed to be in disrepair, so my wife chose not to use them. I also didn’t get a chance to try the pizza, but I’ll be sure to stop in again sometime to give it a try. Overall, it was an okay experience and a decent place for a quick bite.

Worst blizzard I’ve ever had. Ordered 2 blizzards. One Turtles and One Oreo with Reece’s. They came leveled off. The turtles blizzard only had pecans (no turtles at all) and both came in liquid form. It was closer to cold soup than ice cream. I would not recommend this location.

Service is alright but food has been consistently bad the last several times I’ve ate here, cold stale fries, chunky congealed gravy, reheated chicken etc Edit after owner response: Although I appreciate a response after leaving my initial review unfortunately my view stays the same if I do eat out it’s usually at a Dairy Queen it’s my preferred option. I just don’t see myself choosing this location over the others in town after several poor experiences with my food here. (Review bumped up to 3 stars)

Went out to eat with my son. While our experience was alright we witnessed an older gentleman go behind the counter and bag his own food while the workers were in the back talking. I understand having a younger staff but they need proper training or a mature supervisor to be watching over them

I had to say "hi" twice to get a response. The cashier said she is "not obligated" (rude) and "not supposed to" when I asked for her name. Welcome to MH. Eye rolls. Apparently, nobody will complain regardless of treatment if you don't wear a name tag. Genius business model. 2 stars because your cook looked friendly. Your attitude is disappointing, Edmonton, and I hope you approach every future customer with gratitude, not with entitlement. Bye.

My last two times ordering food from here they messed up my order The first time I mobile order and got back to my vehicle and got to a spot to eat and realized my burger didn't have my substitution on it The second time I went in to order and got my food and got back to my vehicle and realized I didn't have fries after I started driving Both times I was working and quickly stopped for food. I strongly suggest to do a bag check before you leave

This location is my go to in Medicine Hat. The drive through staff is rarely friendly but not necessarily rude. Today the girl that took my payment didn’t acknowledge us with words at all except after I payed by debit she handed me my parfait and said your blizzard is being made. The lady that brought us the blizzard was pleasant. Unfortunately the peanut buster parfait I got looks nothing like the many other ones I’ve had in the past. When did DQ start cheaping out on ice cream? Normally the ice cream fills at least half the lid this one barely goes above the cup. Not sure this is worth $6

Brought my kids in the girl behind the counter was rude, a majority of the tables were covered in ketchup and crumbs ti the point you didn't want to sit down staff spends the majority of the time yell talking to each other in the kitchen.... definitely dont have this kind of service at other locations in the city

Disappointing experience with Papa John’s. My order arrived much later than expected, and to make matters worse, the food was cold. They sold me a lot of pizza on short notice. It was good pizza, not the best pizza I ever had, but good pizza. The little peppers are a nice touch.

I ordered "The Works Pizza" on skip the dishes, it was delivered promptly and arrived nice and hot.  It was delicious, a perfect harmony of spices and flavours with this blend of toppings.

We are visiting in Medicine Hat and ordered a pizza from Papa John’s, had it delivered and this is what came! Grease soaked through the container. Disgusting! Phoned Papa’s and was literally told to go ahead and post as “we have quality products and don’t get complaints!. Well, here is your first and this very unhappy customer will never be back!

Nestled in the heart of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Rosewood Bistro is a culinary gem that has been delighting locals and visitors alike for over two decades. With a commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients, this charming bistro offers an eclectic menu inspired by various cultures. From savory chicken penne asiago to delectable German-style thin crust pizza, there's something for everyone to savor.
Simple food at its finest. We had a great lunch here today. The food was great, service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere is quaint and resembles an old diner that makes you feel like you're at your grandmother's. We will definitely be back.

First time visiting here today, and I’m kind of upset we hadn’t come in sooner! The food was absolutely delicious. It’s hard to find a pasta in town that has real flavour, but this place nailed it on two different pasta dishes! Everything was fresh and fast! We will definitely be back and would recommend to check out!

My husband, myself, and our one year old daughter went for dinner here tonight. The two lovely ladies on shift were incredible with our daughter. They were so interactive and very warm and bubbly. They were so attentive and made sure our daughter had something to colour while we enjoyed our meal. The food is absolutely delicious. My husband and myself couldn’t stop talking about how well seasoned and flavourful everything was. I personally love the decor of the place and the atmosphere is overall welcoming, and very comfortable. I highly recommend this place as one of the must dine in local restaurants of Medicine Hat.

Super cute place, food is so delicious. Always get the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is unique and delicious. Coffees nice and strong. Prices are not far off what you'd pay to go to Denny's or IHOP, but way more home style and better atmosphere. Our server Yuki was lovely.

The best burger I've ever had was Rosewood's seasonal menu 'Crispy Butter Chicken Burger.' The flavours are complex and pair together incredibly. The chicken has a slight bit of spice that builds as you enjoy it. You can tell that they use fresh, quality ingredients and that they care about the quality of the food they serve. It really shines through in the food! Not only are the flavours incredible, but their food is also beautiful to look at! (And quite affordable) Another great menu item was the Brisket Burger from the seasonal menu! I always have a great experience here, the food is always incredible and the servers are SO friendly and attentive! They are so kind and personable, whether it's a busy time or a quiet one!

We found this place last minute for dinner and were happy we did. Service was efficient and very friendly. The place could use a freshen up but was also kinda unique, with some old school personality. The food was quick to arrive, was very hot and fresh. Although we would've liked some additional sauces etc, the food was delicious and clearly made with pride. We will definitely come try the brunch next time we're in town. Check it out! 👍

The food was fantastic, but the service was extremely disappointing. I would not return as long as the blonde, middle-aged server is employed there. We waited nearly an hour for our food, and she never checked in on us. She was unprofessional and rude—interrupting our conversation to clear the table even though my friend was still eating. It felt as though she was rushing us out, and her attitude made us very uncomfortable.
Hanna L — Google review
Me and my two friends ate here, the wait was a little long, but it was so worth it. The food was so flavourful and had such large portion sizes as well! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, it gives off vintage vibes, which was great for us. The woman working was kind, and was super friendly, so no complaints there. The building is very nice and clean. The music was at a nice volume, and was very complimenting to listen to.

Park
Echo Dale Regional Park, located in Medicine Hat, is a serene oasis for both visitors and wildlife. The park offers year-round opportunities for exploration with its picturesque trails and charming boat lake, perfect for family picnics. In the summer, it's a popular destination for swimming in the river and enjoying barbecue picnics among the cliffsides. History enthusiasts can tour early settlers' homes or coal mines during this time as well.
Echo Dale Regional park is an absolute gem, hidden in Medicine Hat, Alberta. When I first saw it, my thought was : ‘how is this place not packed with people?’ And then I thought, ‘what an ideal place to have in our backyard and for locals to grow up enjoying and making family memories at!’ To find it, you drive in the plains, in the middle of nowhere and then suddenly you turn and descend into a hidden coulee valley. It’s like a magic trick. The river flows beside the tall coulees cliffs and there are two manmade lakes side by side. One is for swimming with sand and lifeguards and the other is tree lined with a dock for paddle boards. The park is enormous, covered in large shady trees, has picnic tables and is absolutely idyllic. There is lots of parking, river access and also a gorgeous overlook. I even took my aunt and uncle from the Vancouver area here to see it and they loved it too. Medicine Hat is very lucky to have a park like this. Sometimes when people live in a place their whole lives, they don’t appreciate what they have and this place is one of them. I have lived in three provinces and eleven cities and have never seen a park like this!

We loved that place. We camped there supposed to be for 2 nights. There is so much to do. We biked to the old town Medicine Hat and it took us 40min We loved the Bike trail system. We decided we extend for 1 extra night. Also We would love to go to the heritage site of Ajax Coal mine but we were there during the week so there were closed. There is also a beach and a second pond for Paddel boards. Last thing is the facilities where supper clean big shout out for being on top of everything even the foliage looks well taken care of. We have to come back. Highly recommended checking this place out such a hidden Gem 💎

What a beautiful place, a hidden gem near Medicine Hat! Nice and clean swim lake, attractive boat lake for your activities and really enough space to find your own oasis in the shade of an old tree or in the sun. Large picnic site, you even can do your own bbq there! Or get something to chew at the concession. It's delicious, fast and the girls and boys there are super friendly! I was impressed by the wonderful environment of surrounding prairie and the Saskatchewan River! This park is unique, one has to experience the beauty and comfort there! Spent every day of my second week of my holiday there, unforgettable impressions!

Fantastic facility. Beach was nice, water was not too cold. Clean changing room & bathroom facilities. A great way to get some sun & stay cool in the arid prairie city of Medicine Hat!

What a great place to go if you want to be near a beach to swim, paddle board, or kayak! Close enough to Medicine Hat that it only takes 15 minutes to drive there. Lifeguards are there in the summer and there are usually lots of Geese around.

Great family park. Even gave extra swim stuff if you forgot to bring flotation devices. Just beautiful. We tramped the museum which was incredibly well set up.

The Windmill Garden Centre and Butterfly House in Medicine Hat is a lovely gardening centre to satisfy all of your favourite plants and gardening needs. In the spring and summer it has a huge selection of plants and trees for your garden. Its working windmill makes it hard to miss! It’s also a fun place to take visiting family as there are cute goats that can walk along bridges from inside to outside, a tropical bird in a cage, chickens and a butterflies solarium to see. There is also a gorgeous old, classic truck at the back of the store that shouldn’t be missed. There are lots of fun items in their store and even ice cream and veggies for sale. A selection of fountains, which are hard to find, are in the back as well. The flower baskets in the spring are definitely worth checking out and sell out fast. Top notch greenhouse with other great side experiences! Small animal section, beautiful butterfly garden, ice cream, gift shop, local veggies and vendors! And of course a full range of all kinds of plant.

It was such a fun place to visit. The butterfly house was so enjoyable. It's got birds, plants, and butterflies, of course. I'm sorry I didn't get any photos of the inside because my phone was too hot. So you have to go for yourself. Admission is Adult $10 Senior $8 Child (sorry don't remember)

Amazing butterfly house! Saw loads of butterflies, including blue morpho, Asian swallowtail, and Atlas moths. Button quail, koi, and turtles were fun to see. $10 per adult for entry to butterfly house. You could also pay 25 cents for a handful of feed for the goats. Fantastic.

Medicine Hat Brewing Company is a top choice for those seeking the best patios in Medicine Hat, offering 23 taps of Timeless Craft Beer. The rustic patio provides an 'out-of-town' ambiance, perfect for sharing fresh, house-made pretzels. Located on the outskirts of town, it's convenient for a quick stop to enjoy great beer and fill your growlers without venturing too far off the trail.
Our kids play sports, and as parents for fun, we tour breweries in each city that they have tournaments. I'm not a huge fan of IPAs, and every brewery has one sour and one cider... maybe. THIS place had 8 options for sours and I loved it. But my husband also liked the IPAs. So this place is a win for sure. And the food was good.

Staff was Phenomenal! We arrived and we're greeted right away. We sat at the bar and visited with Josh the bar tender while we waited for our table. Our drinks were delicious and Josh was super knowledgeable about all the beers on tap. We were seated at the table and enjoyed a delicious meal and received a free solo cup for finding a gold coin and a hat for my Birthday!! Thanks for having us. The environment was lovely, the drinks refreshing, service great and food so delicious!

First time here. Visiting from Vancouver BC over Easter and had 2 growlers to fill so I ordered a 6 flight taster. After about 20 minutes, the server put the flight down and said “these are your choices but the bartender is really busy so they’re not in the right order” The place wasn’t quite half full. The poutine was very good…the saving grace really. I chose the pineapple sour and the blueberry vanilla ale (I think) for the growlers. In all honesty, it was rather difficult to tell which beers were on that flight 🤷‍♂️
Spoke S — Google review
Super nice place, a combo of vintage & farmhouse decor, great vibes! Found them at our hotel QR directory, sure glad I did. Ordered the salad, real fresh, those toasted chickpeas nice texture, very generous with their portions and veggies, chicken cooked to perfection, moist and spongy. Definitely coming back for next business trip.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely awesome brewery! Great beer selection — everything from crisp lagers to creative IPAs, all super well-balanced and full of flavor. Arena
Co-op Place is a prominent venue in Medicine Hat that hosts live concerts, monster truck shows, ice hockey matches, and various events. The facility can accommodate 7000 people, including 350 "club seating" with foam coverings. Although it has an industrial feel to it, the atmosphere during concerts is always lively thanks to the enthusiastic Hatters. While the upper terrace offers food stalls with overpriced and small portions as part of the overall experience, there is at least one bar available.
A very comfortable and enjoyable arena. Does not feel too crowded and the hall is warm enough to stay in.
Timon K — Google review
I was just at Co-op Place to see a mental health speaker with my wife and I was very impressed with what a beautiful, clean and modern building it is. I have lived in eleven cities and this is one of the nicest coliseum I’ve been to, outside of a major city. It is a lovely coliseum for this community for events, concerts and hockey games. Big parking lot too.
Kevin J — Google review
My granddaughter just graduated from Medicine Hat High last week and it was our family's first event in this centre. We found it easy to find everything and truly appreciated the helpful staff.
Michelle F — Google review
Very great place to work, to have fun. Very great energy in there. I love it.
Boris — Google review
Medicine Hat's premiere live concert, monster truck, ice hockey and event venue! The arena has seating for 7000 people and 350 of those seats are "club seating" which come with a foam covering. All in all, it's a decent venue if a little industrial in it's nature. I've been to a few concerts here and Hatters always make it a good atmosphere. The usual food stalls occupy the upper terrace with overpriced and undersized portions but it's all part of the experience apparently. There's also at least one bar on the terrace. Many a great time has been had in this centre. One thing that really could do with being improved upon is traffic flow before and after events. Getting out of the car park can be an absolute nightmare. A simple one way system would alleviate much of that hassle.
Tom J — Google review
Amazing Good Friday service there!! Beautiful venue.
Robin M — Google review
Great sightlines for hockey, plenty of washrooms and good lighting. Sound system in upper deck not so good. Parking can be challenging during major events.
Kim J — Google review
Very nice arena for a town of this size. Went to see a Tigers game with the family, our first, and everyone loved it. No bathroom lineups with access everywhere. Stairs aren’t as steep as most arenas which is great for kids and there is plenty of room in the seat. Great food selection and everything is reasonably priced, including alcohol. Got some great seats for a family pass. The parking is a little bit of a gong show and getting out at the end took longer than an oilers game but it seems the locals know all the secrets to getting out quicker.

Gas City Campground

Campground
If you're planning a camping vacation in Medicine Hat, consider visiting Gas City Campground. It is conveniently located off the Trans Canada Highway and Seventh Street SW. This exceptional campground maintained by the city's Parks and Recreation Department offers a wonderful camping experience. Another nearby option is Ross Creek RV Park, which provides full hook-ups but lacks bathroom facilities. You can also explore Zama Community Park & Playground, an impressive recreational area jointly operated by the Zama Recreation Society.
We have been to many campgrounds in past 30 yrs. This one was spacious, well maintained, bathrooms incredibly clean. Shade trees, but sites had ample sun. Soft green grass, lovely flowers, walking areas with a huge dog park nearby. We will definitely make the trip back next year. We are from BC. Worth the drive! Also just a 15 min drive to food stores & restaurants. Very reasonable rates, sanidump.

Had driven all day needed a place to sleep, pulled my van into the RV park. Ask if they had a space for me. They set me up perfectly beside the showers, which were spotless. The campground was spotless. Would highly recommend this campground. Easy access from Highway one far enough away from the highway. It was quiet.

What a gem right in the city. Sites are big and well treed that provide lots of shade stayed here for 6 weeks while waiting for possession of new house and our stay was great. Firewood is available and it's a bit pricey but hey you need wood and the store has lots of candy to cater to your sweet tooth. Off leash dog park right across the road and ample walking and biking pathways. Highly recommend. City of Med Hat does a great job maintaining and keeping park clean and grass manicured.
Jason L — Google review
Stopped in here to park and sleep for a night on our way across the country this summer. Got the job done for a decent price, and quick to get to. Great views of the city. Had a power hookup and nice hot showers for the morning. Not the most nature filled campground but nice for what it is.
Cam W — Google review
Beautiful campground. Loved being on top and seeing the city. They do have postings and warnings about sprinklers during certain hours which was great but I didn't expect it to be hitting our trailer as hard as it did. Kept us awake for the sprinkler period. Otherwise great campground.
Brie P — Google review
Such a great campsite. First time being here and our family loves it! The store is very well put together. Lots of gifts, toys, treats and your camping needs. The park is nice for the kids. Full service hook up. Dog park. Clean bathroom and showers. Definitely going to be a campsite we'll come back too.
Rose — Google review
We have stayed here in our trailer in the past, but this year we brought my aging mother-in-law and rented her a cabin. The cabin was lovely. Beds were nice, very clean. It's close enough to the hiway to be accessible, far enough away that you don't hear it.
Albert4Leth — Google review
Such a nice Campsite. We travel across Canada every summer and this is one of our stops everytime now. The sites have lots of grassy area between each for kids and dogs to play and the angles all work well so you're not staring at other campers from inside yours. It's got Shade from trees and lots of green areas to walk your dogs. But there is also a huge off leash dog walking area and trails right beside it and they even spray for foxtail. We didn't use many of the amenities but the showers looked and smelled super clean. Small playground for the kids and the campground itself is just nice to walk or bike around with the kids. We love it here. We were site #42 this year. Also security cars cruise through the campsite which I thought was quite nice especially having young kids. Our little guy was obsessed with the bike pump track which is right next door equipped with shade sails and picnic tables.

There is a great consistency with Boston Pizza. The food is always good, the service is kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is always inviting. There's a comfort to that. And, the staff are happy to make the small changes to a dish...in my case, I like more salad instead of pasta, and they are happy to do those little, easy things, which I appreciate. This location was exactly what anticipated. Thank you!

I ordered the "new" fish tacos....I would suggest people skip it and just get fish and chips if interested in fish. Each taco had the smallest amount of fish on top of a taco filled with coleslaw and shredded mozzarella cheese. 2 of the smallest cut pieces of fish. I managed to combine all 5.5 pieces of fish to put on one taco. Super disappointing and a waste of money.

Athena was amazing — made the whole experience better. Came in for a casual meal and left genuinely impressed. Athena was our server and she absolutely crushed it — super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really taken care of. She had great energy, checked in at the right times, and got everything to us quickly with a smile. You can tell she actually cares about her job and the people she’s serving. It’s rare to get that kind of genuine service these days. Big shoutout to Athena for making the night that much better!

My husband and I went for date night on Saturday and even though they were quite busy, the service was incredible!! We had Hailey C for our server and got the bandera bread for a shared app and I got cauliflower crust pepperoni pizza and a chicken Caesar salad and my husband got the bolognese lasagna with a slice of garlic bread! We both had shirley temples. Delicious and incredible quality!!

I was craving Boston Pizza's lasagna so went with the family tonight. Their so-called baked lasagna was not what it used to be. It was basically dried out broad noodles on a shallow dished plate with very little meat sauce or cheese. The garlic toast was not toasted, it was soft. We frequent BP often and its been a while since I've had the lasagna, but this recipe is terrible and I will never order it again. The service was rushed with only one server working the entire lounge including the bar. I hate it when service is always rushed from one table to the next. Consequently our server was very abrupt/curt with us failing to write anything down orders resulting in missed drinks and in one case serving the wrong drink. It was far from relaxing/enjoyable.

McDonald’s, a renowned and enduring fast-food establishment recognized for its delicious hamburgers and crispy fries, encountered a slight disruption with malfunctioning order screens, leading to some disorder. Nevertheless, the general experience remained satisfactory. An abundance of insects was observed within the vicinity while tables necessitated cleaning and the trash receptacles were excessively filled.
Recently renovated and the service is quick and consistent. The dining area is a bit smaller but there's enough room. The breakfast sandwiches are my favorite especially when they slightly burn the English muffin 🤤

McCafé is one of McDonald’s most underrated gems. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee on the go or sitting down for a quiet moment, McCafé delivers quality drinks at a great price. The coffee is smooth and flavorful—comparable to more expensive coffee shops—and the espresso-based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos are consistently good.

Always check for your straws, napkins, forks, and sauces as they're left out of the bag. Beware the homeless who stand in the drivethru asking for money. Recommend delivery as their parking lot and drivethru will beat the shit out of your car. 20/01/2025 Watched the staff use their fingers to remove ice from my drink. Absolutely disgusting, stopping at the a&w up the street from now on! After having a staff member at the window state that there's no tool to remove ice from your drink, the window was shut in my face Update: Called, no answer and voicemail was full. Called back 2 hrs later to receive a very dismissive staff member who stated something about an ice scoop. Unfortunately, as the staff member became insistent that they didn't use their fingers, it became hard to understand what was being said over the phone. No worries, it was my last visit to this location.

Stopped here for a quick snack and bathroom break. However the bathrooms are locked and somewhat of an ordeal to get in. Once you get in the bathroom they are not clean at all. 2 year update: Worse than ever. Disgusting food, ridiculous prices, horrific service. Slow. Inaccurate. Ambivalent service. You would think that with the amount of turnover this place has, they would eventually find someone that could count to 3. Me: Can I get a Carolina BBQ burger please. Them: never heard of it. Me: it's on your main sign. Them: never heard of it. Me: ok. Orders Big mac. Me (at window): sure you haven't heard of it? Them, at window, with sign for Carolina BBQ in front of them: no. Me: points to sign. Them: oh, I didn't see that there. Me: drives away with quarter pounder meal.
