The Maple Counter Cafe is a charming, family-run eatery that offers gourmet breakfasts and light lunches alongside a selection of craft beers and local wines. With three generations of restaurant expertise, the Nagier family uses locally sourced ingredients to create dishes from scratch, including fresh organic eggs and locally baked bread. The cozy ambiance features homey decor reminiscent of Grandma's kitchen, while the menu boasts buttermilk pancakes and souffle-like apple pancakes that bring dessert flavors to breakfast.
This place is a zoo, crowded wall to wall with people eating as well as so many people waiting to get in to get seated. I must say this must happen every day because these people handle the lines very well, the lines don’t last as long as they look. We thought by the look of things it was gonna be a two hour away, but we got in within 20 to 25 minutes , which was awesome. We had mimosas which started our day nicely with a great tasting breakfast. They accommodated special requests. The food came in a timely matter, and the quality of taste was fantastic. The staff is very experienced, efficient and nice. If you have a few minutes to wait, I highly recommend this place to have a great breakfast for your long day of wine tasting. I would highly recommend making some reservations so you don’t have to wait.

Me and my wife always love coming here when we visit family! Normally we like to come Sunday mornings before church and make a whole morning out of it! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. You will leave full and have some leftovers for later! This spot is family friendly and their blueberry syrup has won awards! Next time you are in walla walla stop in!

I write this while in the daze of a happy food coma. Arrived at 11:45 am on a Friday and it was busy enough to be bustling but not so busy that it required a wait. I ordered a vegan skillet (It's not on the menu, you gotta ask for the secret vegan options). It was so good. Fresh, seared, local veggies on a bed of skillet potatoes with seasoned tofu and avocado. It was so much food. I only finished a third of it and took a to-go box for the rest. The Peach Bellini was the perfect sipper while waiting. The staff was on point. My server came by frequently and was courteous and gave me a friendly heads up that it requires extra cooking time to keep separate from the meals being cooked in butter. Thank you for the perfect meal to start a day of downtown exploring.
Danni L — Google review
We had breakfast here right around brunch time. The wait was about 30 minutes and the place was packed. Was it worth yet? Absofrickenloutly! Two words...Apple Pancake! Holy gigantic and DELICIOUS! It fed 4 people as a side to our main meals and we still had left overs. I had the corned beef hash as my main. Can't go wrong with that either if you like corned beef. The corned beef was tender, flavorful and plentiful, as were the delicious potatoes the corned beef is bedded on. I also tried the bloody mary which was delightful, though after seeing the whipped cream towered coffee drink the table next to us had, I wished I had more time so I could have tried one of those too. We don't live in or near Walla Walla but I'll be making the trek back as Walla Walla had many wonderful places to enjoy and the Maple Counter Cafe will definitely be on my return list. BTW, they don't take reservations but they do have an online waiting list. Highly recommend doing that.
Debbie D — Google review
This place is busy !! You can check in online and get on the waiting list. They don't take reservations but wait time really isn't that long. We waited 15min. Space is big, they have outdoor seating in the front but also have a back area as well. Paulo was our server and she was amazing! So friendly and she listened. We ordered the eggs Benedict to split so asked for an extra plate and when she brought our food our meals were already split up. We were so impressed with her. Each step of our experience she checked in to ensure we were ok. We had the pancakes and they were so perfect. Coffees are good as well. Place is very clean given how busy it is. It's a must when in Walla Walla!
Reetu P — Google review
The food is always great with a warm experience. My waitress was Yairis and she was so efficient and quick with my food despite it being a busy Sunday. If you go make sure you pick up these bomb Pumpkin Pancakes they’re literally AMAZING😩!

Bakery
Colville Street Patisserie, located in Downtown Walla Walla, has been a local favorite since 2005. This bright and airy space offers an array of housemade French pastries, cakes, and desserts alongside quality coffee and gelato. Whether you're grabbing a gougere or a danish to go or enjoying the welcoming atmosphere indoors, this patisserie is sure to delight.
I come here every Tuesday for the best cup of black coffee, decadent pastries and quality time with my furry friends. There is always a wide selection of desserts and savory pastries. I've tried just about every one, but they often have seasonal items like rhubarb tarts during the spring and summer seasons. But my go to, and one of their absolute staples, is the chocolate croissant. They're flakey, buttery, warm, with just the right amount of rich chocolate inside. Pictured too is a lemon hazelnut quick bread, when they're available snatch it up quick. It's sweet, tart, crispy outside, moist inside. I always get the black coffee because they serve Walla Walla roasters, which is local and made to be enjoyed black. But if you're wanting something naughty, they have an incredible mocha with rich chocolate and cream that's other worldly. There is seating indoors but the patio is perfect for a quick stop with your 4-legged pal. I've never had a bad experience at the patisserie.

Had heard from friends, that if you're passing through Colville, WA, you must stop and savor the delicious pastry at a place called Colville Street Patisserie. The owners had an interesting background story, which I can't remember, but they are friendly and will share. And, our friends were correct. We had eight people in our party and we each had something different: several different flaky croissants, yummy cookies, great coffee and delicious chai. All in all a very nice stop on a long car trip. Highly recommend a stop. '

Their gelato is fantastic and very affordable, and their pastries are the best in town. I find every excuse I can to come here.

A feast for the eyes and the tummy! I didn’t know what half of the items in the case were, but the staff was patient and explained everything very well. We enjoyed a light breakfast of both sweet and savory. Do yourself a favor and order the Kouign-Aman (pronounced queen aman). It’s the best in the entire state of Washington!

Very cute place with a nice atmosphere. We got four pastries and two drinks. The two drinks were pretty tasty (however, my mother is pretty sure they didn’t add the lavender flavoring she ordered) and my chai was good. Three of the four pastries were delicious. The eclair, goat cheese and herb croissant, and lemon cream danish were very good. The gougère seemed to be a little over cooked and we didn’t taste any cheese within it. The staff were nice, and overall it was a pretty good visit!

Best french pastries that we have had outside of France! A definite must for us each time we are in town!

On 5/18/23. I visited Colville Street Patisserie in Walla Walla, Washington. My primary reason for traveling to Walla Walla was to try their Canele, a small French pastry flavored with vanilla and rum, with a thick caramelized crust, and a soft custard lcenter. I ordered a Canele and a small Mocha, as well I as a box of pastries to go. Here’s what I thought of each item: Canele ($3) - This was my first time trying this pastry, so I have no basis for comparison, but I have read extensively about it, as well as looked at many photos. The Canele was overcooked. The crunchy exterior was harder than it should have been. The yellow interior was more tender, but not custard like. Even so, the overall experience was a good one. Of the 6 items I purchased, it was by far the best, and the only one I finished eating. Given how impossible it is to find this French pastry anywhere near where I live, it’s probably just a matter of time before I fork out the 200+ dollars to buy my own set of copper Caneles molds and start making them from scratch. Biscuit ($4.50) - I had read a lot about this bakery‘s biscuits. Mine came with raspberry jam. Of the products I tried, this was the second best. It was a nice, flaky biscuit, but it would’ve benefited from being served with butter, as well as more jam. Eclair ($4.50) - I love a classic French eclair, but this one was disappointing. The puff pastry was either stale or overcooked. The chocolate ganache was disproportionate to the custard filling. Quick Bread ($2.75) - I was surprised to see this listed on the menu as a quick bread, because the shape and size is more reminiscent of a French financier, which is a small tea cake. The combination of orange and almond is one of my favorite flavors but I found this quick bread disappointing. The quick bread was over cooked, resulting in an overly dry interior. Given how unevenly the quick bread shape was, I suspect the batter was over mixed. It looked like there was raw sugar tossed on top before baking, to give it a crunchy exterior. The sugar overwhelmed the more nuanced, orange and almond flavors. The overall experience was of eating an over cooked small cake that tasted overwhelmingly like sugar Palmier ($2.25) - The Palmier was disappointing. I have bought better Palmiers from Mexican bakeries, where the bakers have no experience with French pastry techniques. It was over cooked, and it wasn’t as layered and crispy as it should’ve been. Kouign Amann ($3.50) - The Kouign Amann was disappointing. You can tell simply by looking at the image that it doesn’t have as many layers as it should. This pastry was stale. It also wasn’t as layered as it should’ve been and the outer crust should have been more carmelized. Mocha ($4.25) - I enjoyed the Mocha, which is made from CSP’s own chocolate blend that includes Barry chocolate from France. You can see from the beautiful feather design that it was made by an experienced barista. I grew up in countries that were colonized by the French, so I have plenty of experience visiting patisseries. French bakeries are my favorite. I seek them out. Based on the assortment of French pastries that I purchased, Colville Street Patisserie aspires to be a French bakery, but doesn’t quite hit the mark. I’m giving Colville Street Patisserie a solid 3 star rating based on the Canele and Mocha. The service was also very good. And I enjoyed the large sunlit room with multiple seating options. It was a constant stream of people coming in and out, which prohibit me from taking more pictures of the interior. If I was in Walla Walla or nearby, I would revisit Colville Street Patisserie. I would just go with more realistic expectations next time. Recommended!

Public House 124 is a cozy and highly recommended restaurant offering a chic atmosphere for enjoying seasonal craft cocktails, beers, and globally inspired eats. It's an ideal spot for couples, friend groups, or solo diners seeking a comfortable space with attentive service. The menu features damn good food including burgers made with local ingredients and mouth-watering pub grub such as flatbreads and house-cut truffle fries.
Found 124 Public House while passing through Walla Walla—what a great stop! Happy Hour specials were solid. We had the salmon dip to start and the Public Burger with truffle fries (a must-try). Portions are generous; the fries alone could be a meal. Service was attentive and patient, and the atmosphere in this historic Main Street building made it even better. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Cool atmosphere, we liked the shared countertop seating. The menu was fun. I really enjoyed the chicken wings. Our flatbread was delicious but really hard to eat. The toppings slid off every bite. We'd try something else next time. Small outdoor patio available that's dog-friendly but doesn't have much shade.

We were in Walla Walla for our 24th anniversary and decided to have dinner and drinks here as we have been previously and really liked it the first time. We ordered and got our food and drinks and then the server forgot we existed. Came back once about 10 minutes after we got food to ask if it was good and then never came back. We tried to get his attention multiple times. It wasn’t even very busy. He kept going outside. We finished our food and drinks and waited 30 minutes before I flagged down a different server for the check. She talked with him but he never came back to the table. We were not rude. I told him the food was good and my drink was good. He just ignored or forgot us. Pretty terrible anniversary dinner and we won’t be back. As we left there was only one table of people seated outside so I’m not sure why he spent all his time there. Disappointed overall that I chose this place for an important date.
Andrea S — Google review
Had a bacon burger, truffle fries and a craft beer from a local brewery. Food was delicious, service was impeccable — slightly bummed the burger was $19 and didn’t include a side, added bleu cheese crumbles for an additional $3… Came hungry and left happy, just wish they added a bit more value to the high prices. Truffle fries made the trip worth it though, must try if you haven’t!
Sydnee M — Google review
Didn't enjoy the food at all, I'm not certain there was any cheese on the spinach artichoke grilled cheese sandwich and the bread was the heal pieces. Tried the Walla Walla Sweet onion rings and they were awful, so dry. The breading was not good. Might eat here again but totally avoid those.
Terry Z — Google review
Great burger. Great salad. Great beer and pretty good wine. Service was fantastic! I wish I could remember our server's name. He was really nice!
Mike M — Google review
We stopped in for happy hour. Ordered a burger medium. Sadly, the burger was a little rarer than medium. Didn't eat much of my burger. My partner let the server know. I wasn't expecting much and planned to pay full price for what I didn't eat. The server took it to the manager or lead. He picked through my food and must have said only compt half. Without an apology, we were brought our ticket we paid, left a tip, and left with no thank you. Not exactly, great s Customer Service. We were just a little disappointed.

I was looking for a small local place to sit down and enjoy local coffee. The Perk was the perfect spot. Friendly service and good selection of pastries.
Eduardo A — Google review
A decent local coffee shop on a closed street pedestrian mall. A friend mentioned their fruit filled quick breads, and to get them heated. They are around the corner from a Starbucks, if that gives you any idea on their ability to survive nearby competition. Friendly staff, very clean. We got the Banana Nutella, Banana Blueberry, and a Cranberry quick bread to go. Coffee and Lattes were solid. Just wish we knew that we didn't have to park around the corner, but could have been closer. Live and learn Walla Walla city living.

Stayed at a B&B nearby and came here twice over the weekend. Amazing service and superbly made coffee drinks, plus plenty of outdoor, dog-friendly seating. For some reason the inside space is a sauna - SO WARM - but we sat outside so no worries!

Asked for a design in the coffe & even though they're not trained to do leaf designs, our barista made a beautiful chocolate design. Talk about going above and beyond! The boba is delicious as well! Greek restaurant
Yamas Greek Eatery is a must-visit dining spot in downtown Walla Walla, offering affordable and delicious Greek cuisine. The restaurant's welcoming atmosphere makes it suitable for individuals, families, and friend groups looking for a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. With generous portions and bold flavors, their traditional Greek dishes are sure to leave you feeling full and content.
The food was very good, actually excellent for the price, but only 4 stars since I don't want people to think it's a fancy restaurant. It's more of a great place to drop into for semi-fast food in downtown Walla Walla. It has a somewhat limited menu, but still easy to find something good to eat. Pleasant atmosphere, 2 separate rooms, kid friendly, on-street parking nearby, handicapped access. Nice friendly waitpeople, Anna was great. Managers also friendly. I've been there many times as it's a go-to place for a quick meal when I'm downtown. Enjoy!

We decided to have lunch here on May 14. There was no waiting time. There were 2 servers when we walked in, but when we were ready to order, there was only 1 server. It took a while for the server to come take our orders. I ordered the pork souvlaki (plate) which came with pita bread, greek salad, and fries. Everything was really good, especially the fries. The only one complain would be the plate was too small. Because of that, the pita bread was right next to the salad and it was soggy from the dressing. We would come back, if we visit Walla Walla again.

My family decided to try this location for an experiment together and see what they had to offer. Upon arriving it was filled with other patrons, families and college students, which was a good start. We waited a few minutes, not long, for a table and chose to sit outdoors on the patio area. Seating was a little close quarters, but it made it intimate and cozy. Our server was polite and did a good job with answering questions offering what was available. There were a few items that were forgotten, but it wasn’t anything major to complain or become upset over. When the appetizers - dolmades, paidakia, and spanakopita - arrived to our table, the playing looked good and we dove right in. Then midway through the appetizers we ordered our entrees - lamb + beef gyro, chicken souvlaki, falafel. Everything was flavorful. Pros: • Good ambience especially outdoors in beautiful weather • Great time to go is early evening when the air is cool • Family-friendly and people are light hearted spending time with family and loved ones; was able to see a few pups along the way ☺️ Cons: • The lamb did not sit well in flavor. Not sure how this meat was prepared, however marinated in seasonings overnight and using a clay style pot/oven slow cooked may be a suggestion. This is due to experience with international travel in North Africa. • Experience could be enjoyed better “tapa style” eating versus full plates (this was our family’s consensus from our experience) • Servings for fries were very small in portion when ordered another side order; it was almost on par with fries that came with other orders (if requested) Overall the experience was good due to the ambience. The food was neutral, yet being with family made all the difference.

Awesome Greek food. The grilled octopus special was unique & delicious. So was the lamb & beef rice bowl and chicken gyro. The pita & hummus was a great appetizer. The server was very nice.
Kelsey A — Google review
The pita and spanakopita were really good. The service was pretty slow and not attentive, and there were only a few other tables when we were there. The waitresses were all huddled by the bar most of the time chatting with each other. At one point they were complaining about a table from the other room and saying how much tip they better leave. It just felt very unprofessional. Also the food wasn't super warm when it finally arrived.
Brad — Google review
Pretty good food. Some odd Greek preparation (ex. fries in the gyro). Reasonable selection of Greek dishes although appetizers are not offered as entrees. Great service; nice atmosphere.
Gregg P — Google review
The shop is cute and the service was decent. I ordered a gyro and Greek fries and both were pretty good. I had never had a gyro with fries in it before, so that was a weird addition. The Greek fries were pretty small for the price and I also asked for a side of tzatziki for dipping and was charged $2.50. I was never informed that it was going to cost extra, and definitely should have been considering the price. That was the most I have ever paid for a dipping sauce and I wouldn't have asked for it had I known. Overall, it was good food but overpriced.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere! We really enjoyed sharing the appetizers and salads traditional family style. And each of us had delicious main courses! Lots of vegetarian options. They have an excellent selection of wines. During the daytime it's great to be able to sit outside on their beautiful terrace. The owner works here everyday and you can feel the pride and quality coming through in the food and service. Highly recommended

Such amazing flavors..... Carne asada wasn't super flavorful but was tender and delicious. Their pork was phenomenal! Try it. Totally worth the price.

Very interesting place, the flavors of this place is far from traditional Mexican food. The guy there would not let us know where or what style of food this is but it’s not your traditional Mexican food. Food was decent plenty of room to set, the guy is the founders son, not very personable nor does he share any information of their history, which we were very interested in the style of cooking that he would not share sad! Food was decent though can I recommend this place, not sure has a very different style of Mexican food I’m guessing very southern Mexico style which I’m not used to. Food was not great, but it wasn’t bad. I’m glad we stopped just to experience it.

The owners moved to Walla Walla from Mexico City and are so sweet. Their food is delicious. We sat outside with our dogs who unfortunately had 3 seconds of misbehavior that resulted in our drinks falling on our food and our laps. The owners could not have been more kind and understanding. They quickly helped us clean up and replaced our food. They told us to laugh about it and be sure to come back. We will!

This is something far beyond every other Mexican restaurant in the area. The dishes span the wide range of cuisine in Mexico and offer a great alternative to the more common northern Mexican cuisine. The recipes are all a reflection of the family that serves them. Service is not only outstanding but is evident of the care and pride behind every tasty dish on the menu.

Freshly prepared with wholesome ingredients literally made by Abuelita, as pictured. Wonderful selections of not so typical choices. Large portions! Good value. The guacamole is creamy and delicious! The mild green tomatillo salsa is absolutely wonderful! Home made unique coarse ground tortilla chips. Just passing through, and I wish I could have tried More than one item.

Outstanding food! Handmade tortilla are excellent. Mole was delicious. Sangria was filled with all sorts of fruit. Visited on a very busy day (Mother's Day) and I've never seen a server work harder with such grace. It also has a very complex flavor profile. They put out a little extra, for example putting a lime in the water. The chips and salsa try had a nice presentation. The proprietor and his help were very friendly and stopped by to check on us and we actually had a conversation. Theybpay attention to little details and make great food. Highly recommend this place and will be back!

Great location and great pizza! Must try the dill pickle pizza! Quality ingredients and delicious! The Italian salad was basic but still quality ingredients.

It was a very average regular Pizza restaurant. We reached around 8 pm and staff had almost started to begin cleaning etc for closing. We being vegetarian could find a few choices of good but wont say that there were lots. Overall ok kind of Pizza place.
Vinti B — Google review
I did not dine in, I ordered door dash. I'm simply stating the facts of our meal. Food arrived hot, and as fast as it could according to door dash timing and food being cooked, that shouldn't reflect the restaurant. Boxes also arrived dry and not dripping of any oil. Dough a little on the soggy side, but again I feel that could absolutely be affected by a 15 minute drive to my house. I'm not upset about that at all, I would like to try it in house next time. The cheese pizza is very nice, lots of cheese, sauce a little bland possibly canned, and peppery, overall the kids enjoyed it. Italian pizza is decent, didn't have a lot of flavor, and the dough didn't stand out as anything amazing, but overall it isn't bad pizza. Sausage had good flavor The star of the show was the cheese bread, that was very well done with great garlic flavor. There margarita pizza was burned black on 25% of the pizza, on one side, kinda boring for a margarita, no olive oil, cheese was spread really far apart so the sauce in-between had been kinda reduced into the dough, basil was dark and not fresh at all. I'm basing my opinion off of directly opening the box and taking a bite of each one while hot, I will give it another go while dining in next time. Hopefully for the price of an 18inch pie there could be a little more flavor and toppings.

Great Pizza for Washington state! If you like New York style you will love this place. The pepperoni and the Cheese were awesome and a notch up from most regular cheese pizza you get. The margarita was good as well and the pickle was fun and surprisingly good although I probably wouldn’t get more than one slice at a time! My whole family loved it and we left feeling stuffed. I like that you can order by the slice and try a bunch of different pies out!

Finally, my favorite pizza from back East. Ricotta, mozzarella, olive oil, crushed red pepper, sausage and mushroom. And, its foldable! Great looking and great flavor. The cook on this pizza is light brown bubbling topping. Excellent! It felt like staff went out of their way to make this pizza to spec. But, I have a sense that it is common for staff to meet customer requests.
Andrea L — Google review
The salad and slice combo is a great deal, very satisfied with the portions for the price. We ordered a third slice to share, and they graciously cut it in half for us. Food was hot and served in a timely manner. Thin crust was firm and crispy, just how we like it. Some flavors were particularly potent, such as the BBQ sauce on the Luau and the gorgonzola on the potato pizza. This isn't a negative for us, but could be for some. Dining room had sufficient seating with bus your own table policy, bathroom was clean. Will return and ready to try more options.

We got a pepperoni pizza and cheese bread. Both were delicious! Cheese bread was nice and garlicky. The pepperoni pizza had a yummy sauce and the crust was very fresh tasting. Glad we grabbed lunch there!

Nestled in a beautifully renovated art deco building, Marcy's Bar & Lounge is the perfect neighborhood spot to unwind with friends. Known for its hand-crafted cocktails and an eclectic menu featuring New American cuisine, this lounge offers a delightful dining experience. The spacious patio garden invites you to relax after a long day or enjoy late-night fun, as it remains open until 2 a.m., making it Walla Walla’s only late-night bar.
We came here for dinner on a whim and we were unexpectedly met with great service and delicious food! The dinner menu had a variety of choices. We got the Pretzel and Duck Wontons to start. Both were great starters and I definitely recommend. The duck wontons were flavorful and the duck was not overpowering at all. For our main course, we got the Tagliatelle Butter Noodles and the Hanger Steak. These were delicious as well—The steak was cooked perfectly; medium-rare and tender. The Tagliatelle was creamy and well seasoned. The drinks were great too. And our server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back if I’m ever back in the area!

What an amazing experience having lunch at Marcy's on Sunday 6/29/2025. Both the Cubano Panini and Turkey Roundtable Sandwich were SPOT ON. The meat on the Cubano was so flavorful and tender, the BBQ sauce was perfect! The turkey sandwich was so good as well. I really enjoyed the cheese on top!! Fries and Salads were really good too! the SMAK Summer rose was a perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches. Lastly but not least STEPHANE our server was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be returning!!

We had a large group and sat outside so I'm not sure what the inside "atmosphere" is like, but the patio was great with clean tables & chairs (you don't always get that with outdoor seating). The food and drinks were delicious and our server (John boy) was wonderful! It was a special occasion, and I appreciate that he was so kind and accommodating, adding to the joy of our day. Will definitely be back!

We were told to "sit anywhere" by a server who noticed us immediately. We picked a spot to sit and menus were handed to us. Our server was attentive, but not intrusive. I had the lamb hash which was so good! My companion enjoyed the pancakes that came with berries and such on top. Didn't need the syrup. It was a lovely experience and the food was excellent. I definitely recommend. I also had a mimosa and both of us had coffee ☕️. They brewed fresh decaf coffee for us.

I've been contemplating leaving a review. Only because, I love to frequent at this place but not after this. I recently had "Girls Night ". It was a group ladies and our lavender men. My favorite place to frequent at when I was younger was Marcys. As a group, we decided to go because like i said, I love Marcys. The incident that went down left me speechless. Idc if you have issues with a former ex, don't come and make a scene. Especially when your a current employee and I didnt know if you were on clock or not. But, aggressively screaming at my friend ( I can vouch for the fact nothing negative was said, kept it cordial) and screaming your not allowed at this establishment was inappropriate. We were there as paying customers and like I said having girls night. Then, another paying customer saw this employee screaming at my friend and told him to please stop...well this employee also went into this customer's face, started screaming at him and threatening him! Im dumbfounded how this manager allows this type of behavior at his place of buisness! Some server came out and broke it up and took the employee back inside. To say the least, I won't ever be going back. Such behavior is unacceptable and regardless if ur on or off the clock why would behave that way at your place of work?
Iliana H — Google review
Great service. Food is chef made worthy. I’d advise anyone in the area to eat here. Erica and David were amazing, we had them separate nights and want to say kudos to them both! Came back both nights of our time in Walla Walla and can’t wait to come back next year for our anniversary again! We definitely will come to Marcy’s!

French restaurant
Brasserie Four, situated on Main Street in Walla Walla, is a charming French cafe that offers a delightful selection of classic French dishes and pizzas alongside an array of Washington wines. The restaurant features local artwork adorning its walls, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy their meals.
A True Walla Walla Gem Brasserie Four is hands down one of our favorite restaurants of all time. The steak frites are simply unbeatable—perfectly cooked steak paired with crisp, golden fries that keep us coming back. My husband and I cherish our date nights here; the atmosphere is warm, charming, and feels so quintessentially Walla Walla. But this place isn't just for romantic evenings. Whether you're catching up with a friend at the bar or enjoying the sunshine on the patio with a drink and fries, Brasserie Four delivers every time. One of our newest favorite things to do is sit out on the patio with our pup, soaking up the sun while enjoying delicious food and drinks. It’s such a joyful way to spend an afternoon. & The staff are fabulous—friendly, attentive, and always make us feel right at home. We feel so lucky to have this gem in our very town!

I love this place. The only place in town to get French food, but it is reasonably priced ($70 for 2) and very good. Service is excellent. Good wine selection and desserts. Good daily specials. The only downside is that it is noisy and difficult to have a conversation.

Great food with great service, the one issue you I had was, the BEST steak I ever had, now I’m in Texas where all they can do is SAY they make the best steak. Well worth a visit. Great food at reasonable prices.

I'm not sure which was better - the food, the outdoor seating, or the company. The latter consisted of a mix of locals as well as visitors to Walla Walla like myself. All of us agreed that Brasserie Four is one of the top restaurants in town. The seafood and even the house salad were amazing. The ambiance is elevated and quaint. The service was exceptional with friendly and attentive wait staff. Downtown Walla Walla - and its people - made this a wonderfully memorable trip.

This was my first trip to Walla Walla and our first stop. Loved, loved, loved Brasserie Four. We enjoyed their outdoor seating area, kept warm by their patio heaters. Our vodka, soda, lime drinks were perfectly poured. Three out of the four of us ordered identical meals; a bowl of French onion soup and a baguette to start, a Croque Monsieur sandwich as our main course, and Creme Brulee for dessert. All were delicious! As for service...fabulous. All the weight staff were courteous, accommodating and Johnny-on-the-spot. As for price...reasonable considering the quality and type of food. My three-course meal was about $40. (Drink price not included in that total.) I felt this was very reasonable for what was, in my opinion, a five-star meal at a five-star restaurant. Nowhere in my neck of the woods do we have a good french restaurant, let alone at these prices. Bummer I didn't take pictures to share. I will definutely return on my next trip to Walla Walla.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon. Wine walk goin on. Got seated. No reservation. Prompt service. Very clean. Very polite. Waitress discussed menus and specials Chose some appetizers the cheese selection and the olives. Very nice. Cheese selection had a lot of different options. Very good. The olives were a mix. Seasoned and had a little orange zest in there which was nice. Got an entree. The steak frite. Steak and fries. Ordered med rare. More on the rare side than the medium. A little pepper we added. The black peppercorn sauce they served with it was amazing The fries were perfect. Absolutely done correctly. A little salt added. Simply put. It was an amazing meal. Had the best intentions of going somewhere else for more food later on. Did not need it. If you are coming to walla walla. Or you live near and haven’t been. I suggest it. Came back again. 4/20/24 Amazing Walla Walla day trip. Could not ask for better weather. Good was delicious as usual same meal ordered. Salad. Steak and fries. Came back on Friday 12/6/24 same meal. Great service. Amazing

We are on a trip through Walla Walla and passed by... I haven't had french food in a while, so we decided to drop in for dinner. On a wednesday night, in off-season, the place was packed... after a very short wait we got 2 seats at the bar and had a wonderful dinner. If the dinner was 5-star, the dark chocolate mousse for dessert was 6-star. Great selection of wines which are reasonably priced, and really nice Port selection for after dinner (also reasonably priced).

Pioneer Park, established in 1902, is the oldest park in Walla Walla and spans 46 acres. Designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, known as the father of landscape architecture and designer of New York City's Central Park, it offers a peaceful escape with its picturesque walking paths, an aviary, a duck pond, ball fields, and flower gardens. Visitors can relax under large trees or enjoy activities like soccer, softball, pickleball courts, and table tennis.
This is a large scenic park that will not disappoint. There are picnic tables, playground, lots of trees, nature, and serenity. It is peaceful. The park is well maintained. Let's all do our part to keep it beautiful.

Loved being able to just be outside and be in nature exploring and walking. What a great park for picnicking, walking, or even playing on the playground. Would definitely try and begin water as it does get hot and not certian if the water fountains are always on. There's sometimes in the summer some ice-cream truck that come by and sell ice-cream.

Free public park with a variety of treasures. The madrone trees are huge. There is a pond with turtles, an aviary with exotic birds and a large tortoise and a memorial rose garden. A few picnic tables are available. If you’re looking for a mini-break to stretch your legs and mind, this is it.

Gorgeous! So many amazing trees. They're so huge! Definitely worth stopping and seeing. Have your lunch at one of the picnic tables or on a blanket.

Great park to work out (pickle ball, jump rope, part of an overall run ). The aviary is also really interesting and the grounds are beautiful.
Matthew R — Google review
I just stopped in at this park after not having been here in about 20 years or so. I was so impressed with the updates! There’s even an Aviary now. The old gazebo is still there and looks like it’s had plenty of repair and attention. The grass, trees, flowers, etc… all look very well maintained. I ate my lunch at a picnic table that has seen better days, so perhaps it’s time to replace them. But other than that, I am very happy to say this park is fantastic! Better than it was back in the Late 90s and early 00s.
- - — Google review
At first, it looked like a well cared for park, but then i saw the aviary. So many birds and it was clear that they get attention and love. I will be coming back here! Other than the birds, the trees all look very old, which is rare for a park. There are 6 or so really ancient trees that all encircled a large gazebo. I can easily see weddings taking place here. Additionally, there are various flower patches and art installations around. Very nicely put together park.

AK's Mercado is a laid-back, casual dining spot in Walla Walla that offers a fusion of Mexican and American cuisine with a touch of California influence. The vibrant and lively ambiance immerses diners in the streets of Mexico as they savor the flavorful dishes.

This place was pretty alright. We really enjoyed the fresh made margaritas. The food was enjoyable and the portions were large. Service was good. Based on my experience... overall we really had a good time and didn't leave disappointed.

If you're a taco enthusiast like me, prepare to be amazed at AK's Mercado in Walla Walla. These are seriously some of the best tacos I've ever had the pleasure of tasting! Chef Andrae's magic lies in his ability to transform simple dishes into gourmet experiences. Each taco I tried was a testament to this culinary skill. The menu, though rooted in simplicity, is elevated by these innovative and delicious twists. The meats deserve a special mention. They are smoked with such care and precision that every bite is a flavorful journey. The smokiness is just right, enhancing the natural flavors of the meat without overpowering them. It’s evident that there's a lot of passion and expertise that goes into this process. But what truly sets AK's Mercado apart is the fusion of BBQ and Mexican cuisine. This combination is nothing short of a culinary marriage made in heaven. The bold, smoky flavors of BBQ seamlessly meld with the fresh, vibrant notes of Mexican ingredients, creating a unique and unforgettable dining experience. AK's Mercado is a must-visit for anyone visiting Walla Walla. The gourmet spin on tacos and the perfect blend of BBQ and Mexican cuisine make it a standout culinary destination.

We had a wonderful lunch today - the Food & Service by Libby was wonderful. We always enjoy the positive atmosphere and fun decor. I usually get the nachos because they have a delicious flavor explosion but today I was feeling the AK’s Burger. It was cooked to perfection and served with fries. Don’t sleep on the caramelized onions and do add the cheese! Phillip enjoyed the Saudero Tacos because they are his favorite! and if you find yourself here and see beignets offered, get them! They are only offered at special times and are AMAZING.

Delicious food. Came on a recommendation, which was worth it. The voodoo fries and brisket taco are amazing. The wings were less of a hit with me, as they are more of a taco sauce coating flavor, but I'd absolutely go back for the fries and tacos.

Phenomenal Tacos. Seriously, so freaking delicious. They are good size as well, so if you buy the 3 for $12, they will leave you satisfied. Staff is super friendly and amazing, as well as the atmosphere. Great way to spend a Saturday Afternoon. I did not like their pastries unfortunately. 8m sorry, I really wanted to like them! It's probably my fault though. I did the $4 desert sampler, thinking I was going to get a small bite size portion of 4 or 5 of their dessert options. Unfortunately, (for me) I got 2 full sized desert options. Both are deserts that don't interest me. So that was just luck of the draw.

WWBC is good, but not quite great yet. Great space, indoor and outdoor with good location. Prices are not too over the top. Service on the slower side. I went twice, both times for brunch. The egg and herb tartine was outstanding. Delicate flavor and texture. The cappuccino was a little bland, likely poor extraction or bean selection. The margarita pizza the next day was a little too doughy and wet in the middle, as noted by other reviewers as well. The macarons were also a little chewy and bland. The wine served with it had clearly been left out a little too long. But just minor adjustments can really take this spot to the next level. Worth a try, but with tempered expectation.

Adorable place for breakfast. The day I went they had 34 different kinds of croissant/Danish! The strawberry and white chocolate ganache one was the winner for me but everything I tasted was great. Fresh press juice and great coffee too!

A true artisan bakery in every sense, from their amazing pastries to the wood fired pizzas. All of the pastries and every loaf of bread is virtually a work of art. We initially thought their breakfast sandwiches were on the expensive side, but the breakfast ciabatta was large with plenty of sausage, egg, and cheese. It filled us both up, and we had to take our pastries to go. Then there are the mimosas. I've never had orange juice literally squeezed into my mimosa glass as I watched before. They were delightful. Highly recommended.

A fabulous breakfast spot in Walla Walla. The coffee and espresso were top notch and the bread was impressive. I’m gluten free and sadly could not join my family in partaking in the scrumptious looking bread-based dishes. However, the kind staff worked to ensure I had a lovely pre-wine tasting breakfast, as well. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting, but be warned, they do get busy!

We really liked this place. There's indoor and outdoor seating. We were there on a Sunday morning and had about a 15-minute wait, but the food was worth it. The atmosphere was okay, but the booths were tiny. I loved the decorations, but it was much too cramped. The presentation on their Monte criscoe was beautiful, but the taste was awful. The bread was too thick, the sauce was DISGUSTING, and you could not distinguish any flavor other than the sauce. The meat was okay, but not great. The only truly good thing was the jam. I will say the service was excellent, but their bathroom is horrendous. I am truly disappointed with our experience.

We'd never been to Walla Walla before, and boy were we super happy to have picked Bacon & Eggs! There was a bit of a wait getting in on a Sunday morning but plenty of fun shops around to explore while waiting. The whole staff were super nice, food was perfect (I've missed real maple syrup so much since moving from the east coast - guess what they had??) We took home a mug as a souvenir and had a great time!

The line outside is long. And for a good reason. Perfect place for breakfast and lunch at Walla Walla. The food was cooked to perfection ( I know what you are thinking- well it is only omelets and scrambled and some salads. Yes! And it was perfect) Hush browns to die for. Coffee one of the best we had in WA State. They have attention to details. Food arrived exactly as we ordered ( eggs running, separating all ingredients as we requested, no salt). We love professional people and places. One thing regarding tips. Guys, this is not an expansive place. Leave the waitresses 20%. They are working hard at this location. Our tiny recommendation.

Wonderful breakfast. Was able to get a seat right away Sat morning. Nice food options even for gf people. Our server was not a happy person. Asked her if we could get the table cleaned and was told it had been cleaned. Never stopped by to ask how the meal was. Probably just a bad morning for her.

My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday morning. It was quite busy so we were fine to wait a bit for a table. We ended up being sat at a tiny bar top looking out the window. The stools were metal and quite uncomfortable, we were squished in with people on either side of us, shoulder to shoulder. There was barely room for the waitress to put a glass of water on the counter. The food was ok. The $3.00 extra charge for a tiny tin of syrup was disappointing. We came here for our 35th anniversary. The staff went out of their way to make our dinner special and pleasant. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The attention to detail on the dishes was impressive - one of the best meals we had in Walla Walla.

EVERYONE in town recommend this place and I see why. Make sure you get a reservation at least a day prior if you can. Food was so delicious, savory and spectacular! I would definitely recommend this and will be back again.

Making reservations was easy online. This was restaurant was located walking distance to our hotel. We got here early but were seated right away. This place was busy. Didn’t realize they have an upstairs area as well in addition to outdoor seating. We were seated upstairs which was great. Nice ambience and vibe was good not very loud. Henry was our server who was great. We had nut allergies so he helped curate a menu options to cater. We had the chicken breast stuffed with spinach which was delicious. Chicken wasn’t dry. Ahi tuna with the mango salsa was our favorite! It was very flavorful and tuna seared to perfection. Lamb was good and had the right amount of flavor's and so was the halibut. Really nothing disappointing here. Great choice of cocktails and wine options. This place definitely on my list to revisit when in walla walla again.

We had heard great things. We did not have a reservation and were happy to sit at the bar. Very attentive staff. No bread or anything extra pre-meal. My lamb lollipops were delicious, and portion was perfect. My hubbys seafood fettuccine was ok. Most of the seafood was a tad over cooked. Skipped dessert. Not sure we need to go back, but we can check it offf the list. Service A+

Amazing restaurant to celebrate with my wonderful friends! Top of the line chef Jose! 🏆🥇🏆Thank you! Food was phenomenal!
Cindy T — Google review
The drinks were very good. Everyone around us was enjoying the experience as well. The host was a bit weird about us being seated at the bar on our own, without them moving drinks away first. Then another person was asking for a drink and they told him they couldn't serve him at the bar unless he was sitting??? The drinks and dessert are good. The chocolate cake was impossibly rich, but delicious. The whole menu looks fabulous but we only got drinks & sweets. The one bartender got into a big whiskey discussion with someone who wandered in, and stopped working entirely. It was DEFINITELY interesting for people watching, for sure! Overall, good experience, but staff were distracted.

Great service, food and cocktails- pleasantly surprised they had GF pasta, highly recommend making a reservation. They also have upstairs seating.

I ordered the brussel sprout salad always delicious - not tonight - they left out two of the four items that make the infusion of flavor amazing. No bacon or pistachios just left out. Pears replaced by apples perfectly fine for the minor substitute of one item but very overal very disappointed with the salad.

If you find yourself in Walla Walla, make sure to stop by Shiki Hibachi Sushi for a delightful culinary experience. This vibrant eatery offers an extensive menu that caters to all tastes, from sushi aficionados to those seeking hearty hibachi meals. Diners rave about the freshness of the ingredients, especially the yellowtail, which rivals coastal offerings. The atmosphere is lively and perfect for both casual gatherings and romantic dinners.
Went here the day after Valentine’s day to celebrate with my husband and it was VERY good! We have been to many sushi spots here and there but only continue going to those that are good and worth the price.. and I must say, it is worth every penny!! I ordered the Dragon Roll and my husband the house special (not pictured) and the sashimi deluxe. All were VERY GOOD!!
Samantha M — Google review
We got Red Dragon Roll, Rainbow roll and 2 orders of Nigiri Yellowtail. Very good flavors. Really cool artwork on our plate. Service was great. The only reason I out 4 stars on atmosphere was because it was a little bit dark in the room. The lighting could be a bit brighter but otherwise very good place to eat.
Michael C — Google review
Solid sushi spot, although it’s definitely on the pricier side. I was very impressed with the chicken teriyaki, but the sushi was just okay. I would be willing to try another roll to see if I liked it better, but honestly that chicken teriyaki was some of the best I’ve had, and solid portions all around. Service was friendly and all the food came out quickly.
HardlyCommon — Google review
The male host is disgusting. He picks at the wounds on his head and touches everything. I will be letting sanitation know as well.
Alison — Google review
We did a takeaway order. There was a bit of a language barrier, which was stressful when discussing allergies, but I ended up ordering several complex sushi rolls and some salmon sashimi. Let me begin by saying the sashimi was divine. Perfect cuts, perfect moistness, incredible quality. Now the sushi rolls. Unfortunately, i cannot remember which rolls i liked the best, but overall i was blown away by the high quality and flavor of the rolls. The presentation was a bit messy (too many sauces), but after tasting them i understood. Shiki Hibachi deserves your patronage. I'm a very happy customer and i will be coming back!
Zach R — Google review
I always love coming here. Happy place for sure with amazing service every time. Food is always hands down perfect!

The hibachi chicken and shrimp was pretty good. The soup brought before the main dish was amazing. I was sad when I finished it because I wanted more! Food was fast, probably 10 minutes after ordering.

Big House Brew Pub, formerly known as Mill Creek Brew Pub, has been a staple in Walla Walla for over 20 years. After being taken over by Jason and Denyse Hutchison, the pub underwent a loving upgrade. The unconventional brewing system overseen by brewmaster Matthew Boeckman produces a series of popular prison-themed brews as a nod to the nearby state penitentiary.
The presentation for the pulled pork nachos were spectacular! Service was amazing, thank you Sara. Very attentive, great service & always pleasant. Burger sliders were very tasty. Great location & vibe here
Danette K — Google review
Tucked just off the brick-and-vine charm of downtown Walla Walla, Big House Brewery feels like the kind of joint where you could either plan a revolution… or just drink really damn good beer and forget the world’s on fire. The standout? The Hoppy Lager. A perfect contradiction in a pint—clean, crisp, refreshing as a spring creek, then BAM—just enough bitterness to remind you you’re alive and still got opinions. Not too aggressive, not too timid. Just right. Like the Goldilocks of beer if she grew up listening to Queens of the Stone Age. The staff? Friendly, fast, and on it without hovering. The vibe? Old brick, good tunes, patio breeze—ideal for everything from post-wine-tasting detox to a laid-back solo writing session. The food? Solid, crave-worthy, no-frills tavern fare to back up the brews. Big House doesn’t scream for your attention—it earns it. If you’re rolling through Walla Walla, don’t sleep on this place. Especially that hoppy lager. It’s the kind of beer that makes you consider canceling your next plan just to sit and have another. Cheers to Big House. You nailed it. 🍻

Excellent food here. I've had a few different burgers and they were all amazing. I recommend the tots with the Cajun spice or whatever they put on there. Delicious. The appetizers are good too. Service was fast each time I went.
Rhett J — Google review
Great bar food! The crispy chicken club was SO good! And the fried pickles, and the drink selection....
Todd R — Google review
The food here is pretty good. The fries were some of the best I've ever had, crispy on the outside and creamy inside like a croquet. The burger was a little too pink for my taste and greasy but tasted good. The biggest food negative was the bun, it was a wimpy chibata that just fell apart and stuck in your teeth like eating wonder bread. There were two servers and they seemed overwhelmed. The beer was pretty good.
Mark B — Google review
Fish and chips were great. Chicken sandwich was okay. Servers were friendly, but busy so we were overlooked at times.
Kara P — Google review
Went in for beer and fries. Beer good fries meh and service poor. Might have been better if we were ordering more. No one waiter actually served us, we had four. Had to stop three of them to get what we needed. It was dead so being busy was not the reason for the poor service.
B B — Google review
Yikes. What a disaster eating at BHBP. The minute we walked in, it smelled like grease that hadn't been changed in awhile. We were seated instantly by a sweet hostess/server. However, after that things went downhill. It started with a sticky table. Easy fix. We, then, ordered food. And waited. And waited. And waited some more. We ended up waiting for our food (2 hamburger and 1/2 order of nachos) for 55 minutes. Our hostess apologized twice. When our food finally arrived, the nachos were cold, the burgers and tots lukewarm, at best. We decided we didn't dare risk sending our food back and wait another 55 minutes. The server said she would take 50% off both the burgers- amazing! But, when she ran our card, she ran everything for full price. Oh! And did I mention that I saw servers mixing drinks and trying them with a straw before serving them, or spooning out a cherry from a drink, eating it, and then putting a new cherry in the drink before serving it? Guys, needless to say, we will not be back.

Ice cream shop
Pine Cone Creamery is a charming, family-owned ice cream shop in Walla Walla that offers handcrafted, small-batch ice cream with a variety of rotating monthly flavors, including vegan options. The cozy spot shares a patio with Graze and features delightful street art. Visitors can indulge in delicious ice cream flavors like honey lavender and blueberry cardamom while also enjoying friendly service and a clean, inviting atmosphere.
Best ice cream in Washington (beats even places in Seattle!). I got the mocha almond chip in a sugar cone and it was delicious. Not too sweet, a decent portion size (although I’d have been happier with a smaller one). I’d also recommend the Belgian chocolate orange flavor too! The seating outside does get packed and appears to be shared with the restaurant next door.
Pooja C — Google review
If you like cookie dough ice cream good luck. While it is good, I have been trying for a month to get my hands on some. I went in today with their new weeks worth of ice cream and they were already sold out within the first 7 hours. I would think if it is such a popular flavor why they don't make more of it. Rather than be disappointed I will stick with my Ben & Jerry's cookie dough ice cream.
John D — Google review
It was delicious. Very spendy though. We purchased 2 vegan pints. There were only 3 vegan options on the menu. Two ice creams in an oat milk base: cherry and strawberry matcha swirl. Also, pineapple sorbet option. I would recommend it.
Emily H — Google review
The ice cream here is superb. It would be difficult to find a better ice cream place in the north west. Pinecone creamery offers a unique and delicious selection of ice cream. And, on a nice summer day, eating outside is delightful.

5-star ice cream here! I'm sure all of these flavors are amazing but I've visited once. I had to try the Honey Lavender, and it was unquestionably transcendental. The waffle cones are made fresh on site and the ice cream is simply scrumptious. This place stays busy but they keep the line moving. Cheers to the hard-working staff that keeps it running. Restaurant
Passatempo Taverna is a charming Italian restaurant located in downtown Walla Walla, offering a casual and laid-back atmosphere. The menu features rustic Italian dishes, pizzas, and handmade pastas all priced under $25. Despite its popularity, it's possible to secure a table without a reservation on weeknights. The restaurant boasts exceptional service and a delightful ambiance that makes it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions.
What an incredible spot!!! We had a soccer tournament in Pasco, found accommodations last minute, so found dinner here on the late side. They were busy and could have very very easily turned us away - especially with kiddos in tow. But nope, they went above and beyond to accommodate us - and boy are we glad they did. Katrina was our server and she made the evening extra special, very pleasant and helpful (thank you Katrina). The food was all super incredible - we had bolognese, focaccia and finished with desert. The wine list was also great - Katrina surprised me with the Grillo - a delightful Sicilian wine. Well, WE WILL BE BACK!
Chad S — Google review
Food was amazing, portions are really small for the price. The drinks were very good as well. My only complaint is the service was spotty. It was busy to be fair but even when we first sat down, before the dinner rush, it took forever to order and the drinks took a very long time to come out. The patio is very pretty, they had heaters so the temperature was fine. I probably wouldn’t return although it was an overall good experience.
Kelsie — Google review
What a fabulous restaurant Passatempo is. We sat at the bar and had one of the best Italian meals I've had in a long time. The spicy pepperoni pizza was to die for. Our bartender, Forest, was amazing as well. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm, we will be coming back!
Gabrielle N — Google review
If I could give Passatempo 10/5, I would. My husband and I visit Walla Walla frequently for wine tasting, and after one visit, Passatempo became a must-stop every time we’re in town. If you’re looking for a beautiful atmosphere, handmade food, and exceptional service, this is the place. Reservations are a must—plan at least a couple of weeks in advance. We’ve never had a bad experience here. Our top recommendations: the carbonara, focaccia, meatballs, and truly any of their pizzas. The cocktails are outstanding—Forest is an incredible mixologist who’s made us several off-menu drinks, all perfectly balanced. For dessert, don’t miss the tiramisu and an espresso martini (made the right way).
Sydney K — Google review
We couldn't get a reservation, but showed up around 5 and got seats at the bar. We each had a pasta dish and both were excellent. My wife also had affogato for dessert, which she loved. It was fun watching the bartender, who made beautiful drinks. Highly recommended!!
Jim B — Google review
If you don't mind a very loud venue, the food and atmosphere is amazing. All of the pasta was done perfectly, and I was able to try three of them along with their amazing olive oil drenched foccacia bread. Beyond that however, their bar is more than complete with a detailed wine and hard liqour menu with rare finds and well constructed house cocktails.
Rajeev M — Google review
Our service was excellent. Everyone was warm, friendly, and inviting. Our server was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. And, our food was absolutely delicious. We will be back!
Lisa O — Google review
I trust this is a nice restaurant and we just had the poorest luck/worst experience. Everyone says this place is great. We arrived for our reservation and were acknowledged. They asked if we minded waiting a few minutes as they had just sat a large table. That felt like foreshadowing and indeed it was. We were sat upstairs and were enjoying the AC only to have them decide to open all the doors to “let the cold air out” in the 90 degree weather. What?! The room quickly became warm. We had Prosecco & Caprese to start - timely & tasty. We then order our mains and a bottle of Echolands Grenache, a local Walla Walla wine featured on the first page of their wine menu. Our server brought a bottle of L’Ecole Chenin Blanc. We politely let her know it was the wrong wine before she opened it. We reiterated Echolands Grenache. She’s says oh yes Grenache Blanc and disappears. She proceeds to give all her attention to her large table of 10. The food arrives and we have no wine. She returns empty handed but assures us she will bring it right out and references a Rose. Nope! We are nearly done eating and have zero faith. My Rigatoni was tasty enough and my husband’s gnocchi was okay. We also ordered a side of Grilled Summer Squash. I pictured a beautiful platter of golden squash, nope! It was a soggy bowl of zucchini drowning in sauce with 4 tiny pieces of yellow squash. While zucchini is technically a summer squash, just say zucchini! Do not sit upstairs. If you must try this place sit downstairs or on the patio if Cool enough.
