Pizza restaurant
Mountain Pizza and Taproom is a casual spot in Pagosa Springs, Colorado that fulfills the dream of offering artisan brick oven pizza along with a wide variety of craft beers and wines. Established in 2018, this outpost allows patrons to pour their own drinks from a self-serve tap wall, providing an opportunity to sample different beverages. The concept of serving wine alongside pizza has been well-received by visitors who appreciate the quality of both.
The Manager, Ben let us bring a bag of vegan cheese as they were out. Pizza turned out amazing, especially the crust! My wife ask Ben to make up some veggies with marinara saucer. He did not disappoint! Was very yummy! 😋 He said he was a chef since he was born and would love to whip up a dish!

Hate to say it but this place was pretty disappointing. It was filthy. Dust caked on the napkin holders, had to wipe off my own table. They were not even that busy and it was dinner time. They had like 20 beer taps but only 5 were working and when I went to pour my beer it didn’t even fill up all the way. My husband tried getting a cream soda/ root beer but all that poured out was foam. He ordered a GF pizza which was pretty decent. I ordered a supreme and the pizza dough was still raw. They also put wayyy too many toppings on which is probably why the dough didnt get cooked all the way. The bottom of the pizza had charred black bits on the bottom which to me indicates that the oven doesn’t get cleaned maybe as much as it should. It has a great location and was honestly expecting more. Probably won’t come back. Service in general was pretty sub par as well.

This was a great stop for a good bite to eat with our kiddos. We sat on the covered patio and it sprinkled some but not a lot, The kids loved playing in the rain while waiting for their pizza! They had someone playing beautiful music and the food was surprisingly good! We got the Hawaiian cowboy and I might say it might be my new favorite way to have pizza 🍕 Kids had pizza and nuggets and fries.
Kimberly L — Google review
One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve had my fair share)! Large menu and reasonable prices. We enjoyed the quick service and outdoor patio seating. I had the 9” Hawaiian Cowboy and let me tell you, I still dream about this pizza. Tons of toppings and the crust is perfectly cooked (no flop). Can’t wait to go back!
Ashley S — Google review
I definitely cannot recommend eating here. I ordered a calzone, and got a long BLACK Hair on it. When they “remade” it, it came back, overcooked and the black from the oven all over it. It was like eating sand. The pizza was the same way on the bottom. Black gritty chunks all over it. Then they told another customer that we picked up their garlic knots because they apparently hadn’t made theirs. Definitely disappointed.
Stacy G — Google review
The Detroit style pizza was amazing! A little heavy on the marinara, but still great. Quick service… order at the front style restaurant. Plenty of outdoor seating under a canopy. Great atmosphere. Parking was lacking but not a big problem.
Brandon K — Google review
Let me start off by saying this our 2nd visit to Mountain fire pizza, the first maybe 3 years ago. Since then things have changed and not for the good. Ordering: You order your pizza via a kiosk, which I didn’t mind, but we had questions with ordering 1/2 and 1/2 pizza. There 4 people behind the counter, one ignored us as we were struggling to figure it out, the second one had to the manager and manager was only somewhat helpful. Beer/wine tap: You open a tab, which again is no problem, but while my husband was able to get beer, the Sangria dispenser was not working. We asked for assistance, one said he didn’t know, the other said he would get the manager. The manager looked over and said ok, but she never came to assist. Today was my birthday and I wanted a couple glasses of wine with my pizza. No luck. Pizza: Lack luster at best for $25 pizza, sloppy and the ingredients were just thrown on there. Customer Service: Non existent! Flies: Everywhere in the restaurant. Needless to say we will not patronize this place again. If you want pizza , as I did, do yourself a favor and order Dominos!! By the way I don’t like dominos.
Rhonda M — Google review
Food was ok, nice to see they make their own dough. Low rating because of the customer experience. It’s all self serve kiosk. The beer is also self serve you get charged by the ounce and it’s all foam which they charge you for. Truly the worst dining experience and we would not have come here had we known. Cool shop, great location, friendly and fun staff, bad business model by ownership.

Bar & grill
Kip's Grill, located in southwest Colorado, is a locally owned and operated grill and cantina that offers a laid-back atmosphere for lunch or dinner. The menu features a variety of options including tacos, burgers, appetizers, beer, and mixed drinks. Their specialty lies in their flavorful and juicy tacos made with house-made tortillas. In addition to the popular tacos, Kip's also serves burgers such as elk burger.
This is an adorable establishment! Both indoor and outdoor seating, the staff is great and the food is absolutely delicious! We ordered the chips and salsa, one fish taco, one portobello mushroom taco, one shrimp taco, and three steak tacos. All of them were absolutely delicious, the favorite was the fish taco. They brought three different sauces to the table, all were great. The habanero one is definitely extremely hot! The place was packed, lots of cool stuff on the walls. We will definitely be back next time we go through town!

It was very full at dinner. It was a bit chilly so waited to be seated inside. The hostess, a young man, was incredibly polite and helpful. When we were seated inside from the time we ordered to receiving our food was around 25 minutes. The atmosphere is quaint and TVs were playing football games above the bar. I ordered the chili verde queso and chips that was the star of the show! I also ordered chicken tacos which were basic tacos. The chicken meat reminded me of frozen bagged diced chicken that you can heat up, but still has that chewy “texture” but the queso made it a tasty treat. I put the queso on the tacos and it brought it up 10 notches. My husband had a burger and chips. The Jalapeños were hot! But that’s how we like them. The server was nice enough, and who I am assuming was a manager or owner, gave me foil to wrap my leftover tacos and of course I took the cheese! Because of it I give the food 3 stars.

Always make it a journey to stop here for lunch or dinner when I visit. We came through at the end of July so it was warm out and we sat on the patio. Staff is awesome. My group we ordered some nachos to share. There’s a lot. I ordered the fish tacos. They were good and the rest of the table enjoyed their meals as well.

I had a party of 8! This place has everything you need, nice and comfortable atmosphere with outdoor seating, service was top notch with our server providing a variety of suggestions and making us feel right at home. Food came promptly and everything was delicious. We will be returning for sure! PS. Try their prickly pear marg :)

We sat outside on the covered patio. A laid back lunch time vibe. We got the build your own brats. The jalapeños were nice and spicy ans th ew brioche buns complimented the brats perfectly! Highly recommend if you like hotdogs/brats.

We needed a delish dinner after driving 13 hours...so we looked up the best rated Mexican restaurants in Pagosa Springs. We stopped at Kip's Grill and Cantina and enjoyed a meal on the patio. The best part?! One of the taco dishes came out wrapped in tin foil as a duck! This spot offers multiple sauces to pair with your tacos ranging with different spice levels. They also have the BEST salsa and queso that you need to start your meal with. If you are looking for a delicious taco spot with fresh ingredients in Pagosa Springs, make sure to visit Kips!

Great vibe and atmosphere, service was friendly and attentive. Food was pretty good! Fish tacos were filling, I wouldn’t call them flavorful but they do offer lots of different condiments and I think the crema went well with them. Husband got the open faced green Chile burger, he said it was great! My child got an all beef hot dog which was pretty good and BIG. We got the green chilies filled with cheese for an appetizer, they were yummy but I wish we pile have gotten the poppers instead, those looked better! Great place

Excellent selection of heathy food! Nothing fried which is music to my ears. I had the Fish Tacos (grilled mahi mahi, shredded cabbage, salsa, lime) with added Mexican cheese and avocado. They were fantastic! Very generous portion of mahi, grilled to perfection, in each taco, salsa was flavorful and spicy but not too spicy. Among the best I’ve had. My husband had the green chili smothered burger and said it was very good. Wide selection of beer and cocktails. Service was outstanding, friendly and attentive. All around WIN!

The Alley House Grille is a charming New American restaurant and bar located in a beautifully renovated 1912 bungalow. It offers a cozy and romantic atmosphere, with the option for outdoor seating on the deck. The restaurant is known for its handcrafted beer and award-winning cocktails, making it a premier dining destination in Pagosa Springs. Whether you're looking for a family-friendly dining experience or a night out with specialty drinks, the Alley House Grille has something to offer.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Staff was very pleasant and professional. Food was amazing. My wife had the Sea Bass and it’s the best she’s ever had and she has Sea Bass in over 30 restaurants across the country. My Bison steak was perfectly cooked. The green curry muscles were very good. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Came to Pagosa Springs to visit friends and visited this lovely establishment. They have beautiful open-air lounge seating and we had perfect weather. The elk kabobs were delicious as were the duck-fat fries! Highly recommend for food and lovely atmosphere.

Fine dining in Pagosa Springs. It has two sides with different atmospheres, to the left is a classically nice dining setting, and to the right a brighter more modern vibe. The fried calamari was the best I've ever had, the waiters recommended wine for my wife was perfect, and both of our meals were very elegantly plated and delicious. Road construction makes getting around town square a little challenging, but if you're there and looking for a classy meal, this place will not disappoint.
Robert P — Google review
If you’re coming for the bar, maybe your experience will be worth it. We learned that price does not necessarily dictate quality. We got take-out and paid $35 EACH for this mess (see photos). We asked for brussels and broccolini to sub for ratatouille. One container had the broccolini, the other container had no side whatsoever. The container weighed more than the food inside. When I called to let them know they forgot one side, I got a recording that hung up on me after letting me know how I could make reservations. The host/hostess staff had no knowledge of the menu and had to go find out from others questions that were asked of them. This is easily one of the worst experiences we have ever had at a so-called nice restaurant. Oh and for the menu writer, I don’t think portobellos qualify as “seasonal” mushrooms. We definitely do not recommend.
Barbara M — Google review
My husband and I were looking for something nice while we visited Pagosa, and read good reviews about this place so we gave it a try. I wanted to really love it because it was a cute spot and seemed to be great. However, our experience wasn’t that great. Our server took forever to come even ask about drinks because they were too caught up talking to another employee. After we finally ordered our food, my steak came out so burnt on the bottom and around the edges that it was almost inedible because of the taste of just bitterness all around. I ended up having to scrape what I could off and cut into the meat and slice off the outer parts. Unfortunately, for the price of our meals it wasn’t worth it. During our time there several others seemed to be having issues with their plates as well because at least two tables across from us sent their dish back twice. I’m not sure if it was just an off night but it was really disappointing, especially because by the time we left it was so late that there wasn’t really anywhere else to go grab food as we left hungry and dissatisfied.
Laura S — Google review
This is a word to my fellow vegetarians. Maybe just get a salad. We had the pasta with broccolini and the mushrooms and actively had to avoid the sauce for both dishes. I don't think the chef tasted or balanced the flavors at any point in the process. The family members that ordered meat dishes seemed very happy though! But paying ~$40 for each vegetarian dish where neither were enjoyable doesn't feel very good.
Ashton W — Google review
Expensive for what you get on the fine dining side. Servers may have been understaffed. Fried cauliflower appetizer was the best value. Caesar salad was average, although anchovies were nice extra. Had to request fresh cracked pepper from server. Shrimp scampi was heavy with lemon although tasty. Sea bass, salmon and shrimp dinners were good. Not great. Presentation was nice for everything except the Brussels sprouts side dish.
C L — Google review
These guys are passionate about serving quality gourmet food. We had the calamari, braised rib, and rib eye and they nailed it. So delicious! The atmosphere is quaint and very well put together. Our server, Tim, over-the-top genuine what a great person. Kudos to everyone involved with this restaurant -- we'll be back and we're spreading the word to include this as a stop for anyone going to Pagosa Springs.

great local bakery! We stopped for some treats for the winter holiday. We got their take & bake cinnamon rolls which were delicious and a yule log & carrot cake muffin, which did not last long enough to take a picture of. yum!

Always go when I’m visiting. Baked goods and good lunch selection. Lavender latte (housemade coffee syrups) and the best green chili I’ve had in town (with chicken not pork) that comes with a bonus ciabatta bread.

We’re visiting Pagosa Springs from Texas and noticed the bakery downtown and stopped in for cup of Green Chile with chicken. It was amazing (spicy) but delicious. We also picked up a couple cookies, chocolate pie and blueberry pie. They have soooooo many options. Service: Service was quick, friendly and helpful. Dog Friendly: We sat outside with our two fur babies and watched the construction traffic. Parking: Due to construction, you will need to park in the on side and no need to worry they have plenty of parking.

Adorable coffee shop that offers way more than coffee! There's a large menu and delicious pastries. The staff are very friendly and the food/drinks are delicious! We will definitely return next time we were coming through town!

Absolutely loved this bakery. We ordered lattes & quiche and a blueberry loaf to go. They have a couple of coolers full of frozen "bake at home" goods that had we not been camping, we would have tried. Service was pleasant and helpful, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Currently a lot of construction is going on with the road in front of the bakery, but plenty of parking by entering the back street. Can't wait to return!

Cute little coffee shop tucked in off of Pagosa's main Street. This little shop offers a lot, not just coffee, but also baked goods, breakfast and some frozen goods. (Pies, meats, and they're famous chicken chili Verde. I ordered their breakfast burritos smothered in their chili verde. It was extremely good, we enjoyed our meal inside the restaurant while watching a deer walk up the mountain. They also offer patio seating that is very beautiful, surrounded by flowers. It was very peaceful.

I wanted a pastry so wr came here to PBC. The staff was friendly and prompt. The vibe is very laid back coffee shop with merch and individual fridge items. We got a raspberry heart cookie, a lemon bar, and the strawberry rhubarb pie. The bar was sweet and very tart 10/10 Raspberry heart flaky and buttery 7/10 Pie crust was 10/10 filling 6/10 due to strawberry to rhubarb ratio. Execution 7/10 because it was sold cold. Overall drinks were great and desserts were delicious.

Visitors can enjoy a scenic trail that follows the Colorado River through town while passing by hot sulfur springs and spas. Peaceful walk by the river. Several hot spring run offs/pools along the way. As we walked, we eventually came to the Geothermal Greenhouses. This was my favorite area. We visited in the fall and there were still flowers in bloom. I bet it’s incredible in the Spring. Weren’t able to go inside the greenhouses due to maintenance but I took a peek through the glass in the door. Looked awesome.

This is such a gorgeous park. Great clean facilities that open at 6am. Good area for fishing, taking a nap, reading a book, or just kicking back and enjoying the lovely scenery. An added bonus is the hippy dip hot springs right next to the park, nice hot water next to the river. Relaxing! Nearby many different great restaurants and bars all within a short walk. Good area to shop for ski and fishing gear. Very dog friendly community.

This park is a beautiful green space in the town of Pagosa Springs. The park is adjacent to the San Juan River. It's really cool that a river runs right through this park. There's a footbridge in Town Park, so you can walk right over the river. That's really fun, and it's safe because no motorized vehicles or horses are allowed to use the bridge. There's a playground in the park, and a Little Free Library! There are also picnic tables and bear-proof trash cans present. This park is a really wonderful, beautiful place to hang out.

Some have found the prices to be a bit steep, but overall, it's considered a great place to treat yourself when in the area.
Top food spot in Pagosa Springs. Live music on Fridays, the people are SO nice, the sandwiches are awesome (the Mac was unreal), and the atmosphere is great. We have a few little kids who stay occupied on the side while we had a beer, listened to music, and enjoyed an enclosed patio/relaxed area. Highly, highly recommend. Would go here every night if we could!

Came here and was met instantly with friendliness and good service. I ordered a chick n’ at sandwich with some roasted tomato sauce along with some waffle fries, which were perfectly seasoned. The owners definitely take pride in their food, as they should. Everything was a 10/10 and definitely got our money’s worth.

This place was incredible. Pagosa is a mess right now due to the construction so I feel like a lot of people may be skipping this spot. But there is parking in the alley and it is worth the hassle. The service was wonderful and everyone was so kind. Our dogs loved it too. Very chill vibe and great food!

I got the GHOST, you can never be too sure about the spice level even when people use ghost peppers. This sandwich brings the perfect amount of heat, hot enough to feel it enough but not to hate yourself. Also, meat loaf and grilled cheese? Should have know it was a killer combo. Meltdown on Main – Pagosa’s Cheesiest Hidden Gem Tucked in the heart of downtown Pagosa Springs, Meltdown on Main is more than just a food truck — it’s an experience. This permanent fixture dishes out some of the best grilled cheese sandwiches you’ll ever bite into, all from a cozy courtyard setting that perfectly blends laid-back mountain town vibes with Pittsburgh sports pride. The setup is simple but memorable: a decked out food truck parked in an outdoor courtyard surrounded by twinkling lights, casual seating, and often, the sweet sounds of live music floating through the air. It’s the kind of place where locals and visitors alike gather, kick back with friends, and let the world slow down for a bit. The grilled cheese? Absolute magic. Hot, cheesy, golden-crusted masterpieces built with care and high-quality ingredients. Whether you go classic or try one of their creative spins, each sandwich is perfectly gooey in the middle, with that satisfying crunch on the outside. Every bite feels like a warm hug — familiar, indulgent, and oh-so-satisfying. And the Pittsburgh sports-themed décor adds a playful, personal touch. Even in the Colorado mountains, you can feel that black-and-gold pride radiating from every inch of the space. Whether you’re chasing the scent of melted cheese through downtown or looking for a place to relax with live music under the stars, Meltdown on Main hits all the right notes. Come hungry — and bring your appetite for flavor, fun, and a little hometown charm.

Excellent sandwiches. I got to try a few sandwiches from my group. My Mac was very good, but the chick-nat was truly sublime, and I wish I had ordered that instead. The meltdown is good but basic. I recommend getting the smokey tomato dipping sauce as a side for any sandwich. If eating in summer, there is ample shade, but they really need a mister or something to make it comfortable.

Delicious sandwiches. My kids enjoyed the kids version of grilled cheese, my husband and I ordered two different types and then swapped halves. It was so good, we went back the next day and did the same thing to try two other of the Meltdown creations! Very friendly staff and owner. They do not turn you away if you have your 4 footed friends with you and have water available for dogs. Oh and a great Playlist while we sat in the courtyard and enjoyed our food. As a PA transplant to this part of the country, I appreciated the 'burgh vibe and being repeat customers we got a meltdown coozie. From one "yinzer" to another, nostrovia! Already putting the coozie to good use with a PA brew, from the nation's oldest brewery.

Dealt with Asif and his crew. Absolutely outstanding experience, got to try samples of different food on the house besides my main meal, which was the Cubano, which I highly recommend. If you like green chili stuff, this is definitely your place. Due to customer input, he went from using mild green chilies to slightly spicier ones, and it gets the job done to the T! Spicy delicious and outstanding customer service I don't know what else you could ask for. Like I said, definitely try the Cubano, and the brownies are out of control as well!

Wow!!! If you’re looking for an amazing sandwich, this is the place to go! My husband and I split both the Quart Ridge and Southwest Melt. Both were amazing. The quart ridge we added horsey mayo- it was to die for! The southwest melt had chipotle mayo and green chile. We are from New Mexico and their green chile was on par for what we are used to! So good! Service was amazing as well. We were treated so well by the nice gentleman at the counter. I highly recommend this place!

One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Service was great, and the bread was super fresh. We had the Cheesesteak and an Italian and both were warm and delicious. Located right in the middle of town. And the staff was so friendly! Highly recommend.

Impossible to find friendlier, more courteous staff anywhere. The woman staff happily brought complimentary meat snacks outside for our two large-breed dogs, and they're just about the nicest people you could meet. We come to Pagosa often and always stop at Peak Deli to feast on fresh, filling sandwiches and breakfast items. Favorites are their breakfast bagel sandwiches and the Killer Burrito. If you're tired of fast food and want a delicious, affordable option, be sure to stop here.

The Peak Deli is a hidden gem for sandwich lovers! The flavor combinations are spot-on, and the ability to choose your own bun, protein, and sauce makes each visit a personalized treat. The variety is impressive—you’ll never feel stuck ordering the same thing twice. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The lady behind the counter, Komal, was not only friendly and attentive, but genuinely caring and knowledgeable about every item on the menu. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel like a welcome guest rather than just another customer. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely delicious sandwiches!!!!! Seriously every sandwich we ordered was so good, just perfect and great portions . All made to order. The Cubano and Italian were exceptional ! There are tables inside ( with AC) and outside tables or just grab them to go and enjoy them by the river for your picnic. Highly highly recommend this place. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Even if you're just driving through grab a sandwich for lunch

Hamburger restaurant
The Malt Shoppe is a classic spot in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, offering an array of treats like shakes and soft serve ice cream, along with burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, and chili. The portions are large and delicious, making it worth the wait in line. While the food may not come out all at once and the shop is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the friendly staff and great prices make it a must-visit.
We had a great experience at The Malt Shoppe! The atmosphere is super nostalgic and gives off those classic 1950s diner vibes — it’s a fun and charming spot that feels like a step back in time. The ice cream portions are generous and absolutely delicious! We also tried the waffle fries and onion rings, and both were crispy, flavorful, and hit the spot. It’s a perfect place for a treat or a casual bite with family or friends. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area — it’s a feel-good place with great food and even better vibes!

Wow it was like an old time dinner serving up malts, shakes, burgers and ice cream plus a lot more. The food was great, the place was packed and the young crew just kept on hustling to get the food out as quickly as possible. Great food and great service, highly recommend!

Malt Shoppe is such a gem! The burgers are amazing, and their customized veg sandwich was made to perfection—but the real winner is the ice cream cup 🤩🍦. Absolutely delicious! The place has such a fun, classic vibe, the food is top-notch, and the prices are super reasonable too. A must-visit spot that never disappoints! 👌✨
Sargam D — Google review
We had malts. Don't get them. Wow, decades ago I was a soda-jerk and I made shakes, malts, banana splits, cherry cokes etc etc. So I know what they should be like. Here? If there were free, I'd pass. Nope. No thank you. The malt powder was chunky on the bottom of my cup. The vanilla ice cream seemed less than good. Service? There was one customer ahead of us and more workers than customers. Was the counter help friendly? Yes! But wow they seemed overwhelmed by just a few simple orders. It took forever to get two simple malts. They weren't cheap either. And then the taste: so disappointing! I'll not be back. The workers were cheerful and friendly and I wish them well. But no more shakes or malts from here. No.
Ed S — Google review
Ended up leaving after waiting over 45 minutes for 2 hot dogs, and chicken tenders. Might be a good place for ice cream, as the cones looked huge and seemed to be filled 5-10 minutes after ordering. While we were there multiple people with food orders were waiting more than an hour for the simple fare offered.
Joshua E — Google review
Starting off you have to wait 20 minutes just to order your food and another 20 to get it. Then to follow up their malts are the size of a small anywhere else and their burgers are all warm
Ethan G — Google review
I tried really hard not to judge this establishment since they were short staffed… but I wouldn’t recommend this place to eat at. They have great soft served ice cream but their shakes/malts weren’t anything special. It took us 20 minutes to order our food & 50 minutes to get our food. We went during the lunch rush but once our food came out, the patty to our burgers were bigger than the bread given. Our bread buns were so soggy that I had to throw them away. It’s a very cute atmosphere and has fun vibes but it you’re hungry or want good food, don’t go here.
Teagan A — Google review
Don’t eat here unless you are prepared to wait an hour for a burger that is really not that great. They don’t care that it took them an insanely long time to get you 4 burgers and a fry. But they do have a machine that it’s you on the spot and asks you to tip them. Tip them for what? You have to get up and get your own food. And if you ask for the eta of your food they get upset. Insane… zero customer service. Don’t know how they are still in business.

Riff Raff Brewery is a good spot for lunch in Pagosa Springs! Sage Eatery in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, was originally a food truck but has now transitioned to a permanent location with indoor seating. Locals rave about its burgers and high-quality meats, particularly the bacon and turkey. The friendly staff provides top-notch customer service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The menu offers generous portions of delicious Tex-Mex cuisine, including green Chile Fries and the OG chicken sandwich.
We showed up at 1:00 and the kitchen was on hold, so we came back at 2:30 and all was good! We were not going to miss out on our favorite eating spot in Pagosa!! We are used to Kansas City barbecue but the brisket sandwich here is as good as any in KC! The Local is my favorite burger! All the staff is very professional and VERY nice too! This place is a must when visiting Pagosa Springs!

I don't usually go for food trucks... but this place is AWESOME! my kinda burgers and onion rings, quick service, friendly staff. Great tent to keep the sun off you whole your eating. Smell of fresh wood chips on the ground. I WILL BE BACK!

Sage is great. I think this is what people think when they want a solid burger. Their chicken and fries are fantastic, as well. If you thing you have to pick one or they other, I recommend not doing that and just ordering it all, if you can swing it.
Nick S — Google review
We do not eat burgers & fries often. When we do, we want them to be really fresh and tasty. Our lunch today was worth every calorie. We ordered The Local: grilled onions, roasted Hatch green chilies, pepper jack cheese and mayo, Sliced Brisket Sandwich: smoked over pecan wood and served with onion, pickle, and BBQ sauce on a toasted bun, & Crispy Seasoned Fries. Order at the counter for grab-n-go, take-out, or dine-in. Another visit to Sage for lunch 8/7/25 I highly recommend the Local Burger, the grilled Hot Mama, and the french fries!!! Fresh, hot, delicious, great flavor & spice level. Excellent service & casual, covered patio add to the experience. YUM!

Don't be in a hurry, but worth the wait time. Walk up to place your order, it'll be brought to your table when it's ready. My hatch chili burger with pepper jack cheese was really good, the green chili pork fries were excellent (large portion, plenty for 2 people). Serve yourself drinks. I recommend you put this on your list.

Love the burgers here and people who run the place are super friendly. The Local burger is an Pagosa treasure! However, today we picked up our order and instead of perfectly crispy, straight cut fries, we were given soggy, crinkle cut fries. I really hope they change back to the regular fries! -Changing my review based on the response I got from Sage. Looks like the fries I got are temporary. That makes me so happy! Food is 5 stars!-

Just let me say, dang! It’s been a while since I have had a burger this good! And the fries, yummy!!! The staff is awesome! Very clean place, and the atmosphere is great and had some good music in the background. The only problem is we live almost 6hrs away and now I am going to have to make trips now just to eat here! So worth it! To the staff, Thank you for the great food and great service! You guys rock!!!

Family managed fun vibe with outstanding grub! The location stands out since it's not in the crowd of places along main, or in the west development. The green chilé cheeseburger is a great local-worthy choice. The French fries are some of the best in the area! The turkey and cheese sandwich was so big that my Dad had to take half of it home!

Phenomenal experience with top-notch staff. Tobi answered all of our questions and made sure our booking went smoothly. Monica was witty when explaining procedures. Reece was friendly and had great info to share. Zach was our actual guide on the water. He was excellent, pointing out interesting plants and animals as we went. Bryce took photos (which come complimentary with the trip!) that captured the fun. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely visit again.

We rented a tandem kayak from Pagosa Outside. The website was easy to navigate and the online reservations were simple. It was great to sign waivers online before arriving as well. The team at Pagosa Outside gave us the information we needed to know how to inflate the kayak, deflate it, and pack it back up. They had suggestions on where to go as well. It only took about 5 minutes to inflate the kayak and we were out on the water. Everything we needed was provided, including the kayak, paddles, pump and life jackets. The return process was just as easy when we came back. Would highly recommend them.

I love it here! The staff are always so welcoming and chill, and there are so many options for tubs indoor or outdoors. And they sell beer, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. They also have a cold plunge situated inside between two of the hot tubs.

The best in town! I got the BEST message from Julie here, deep pressure and full 60min. The message comes with all day access to the tubs, a towel, robe, lock for your stuff, bottle of water, and an alcoholic drink. This is way better than The Springs Resort prices. They have many outdoor tubs (single and group tubs), and indoor tubs for when it rains/snows. The temperatures are all a little different, which is fun to go through. There is a sauna, cold plunge, and seating everywhere if you get kinda hot. The changing area is fine, there are showers with soap and baby changing tables for little ones. They have a cute shop up front if you need a swimsuit or more drinks. I will 💯be coming back. People are super nice too!

We got a couples massage with the private indoor tub. The massage was amazing. The private tub was romantic and relaxing. Keep in mind...mineral water has an odor. Don't be put off when you first walk in and get hit with that smell. This place was clean! They also have showers so you can rinse off before leaving.

If you are like me and my guy traveling through Pagosa Springs, you must wonder what hot springs to try. Well, wonder no more because I’ve got you covered. There are essentially four choices in downtown Pagosa: Resort Springs, Healing Springs, Nathan’s Hippie Dip Springs, and Overlook Springs. To be perfectly honest, I haven’t been to the Resort Springs nor Nathan’s free springs on the river, though they are as different as night and day with the resort charging $69, and Nathan‘s being a free option. If I were a local and better prepared with shoe options, I would probably select Nathan’s small public pools, and if I were staying at the Resort, why of course I would go to the pools on site, but I think I would still prefer Overlook, and here’s why! There are eight pools of varying sizes and temperatures including a cool down pool (not mineral). I like that I know the temperatures of the pools and can move around accordingly. There are three areas including rooftop pools, courtyard pools, and indoor pools. There are SIX individual tubs that are perfect for relaxing. Overlook provides FREE lockers, complimentary soap and shampoo, and offers beverages at a nominal price. The pools are clean and well maintained and, for the two days we attended, not crowded at all. The price for a senior is $24 - almost ⅓ of the price that Resort charges!! The best measure of a good business is whether one would return again- which we did the very next day! **To address some odd negative reviews, I offer the following thoughts: Hot springs have a distinctive sulfuric odor. If you can’t handle that, maybe natural springs aren’t for you. Just like any outdoor pool, the rooftop pools sometimes have leaves and plant debris from the wind. The staff can’t really clean the pools while people are in them, but they are cleaned often.
Linne C — Google review
A group of ladies had the whole afternoon there. First time for most of us. We tried most of the pools. Different temps. Some inside. Some outside and in the roof. Relaxing. Staff checked on us several times. Across the street was parking. (Across the river which was full of people at that spa). They paid 8X more than we did. !!! They had showers and dressing areas. You may bring your own water/ drinks and snacks. You will leave very relaxed.
Glenda P — Google review
We had a fantastic experience here! Everything was clean and we enjoyed the variety of soaking areas: 2 large spas on the roof at different temperatures, six individuals spas and a large tub (all at different temps in the secluded courtyard, and 2 indoor tubs and a cold plunge pool inside. The entire staff was friendly and checked on us throughout our stay. Yes, there was a sulfur smell, but I've smelled much worse at other locations. We booked a couples massage (DO IT!) and our massage therapists were wonderful. We relaxed so much between the soaking and the massages, it was like we took a week's vacation in 4 hours.
Janet S — Google review
My so and I were at Overlook on 10/25. We walked in the day before and the young man at the counter let us have a look around the spa. We liked what we saw and appreciated that he let us do that. We arrived early the next day. The same helpful young man was working. They had quite a nice selection of drinks. I selected my drink and off we went to soak. We tried a variety of soaking options but mostly stayed outside bc it was a gorgeous day. We had a wonderful time enjoying the hot springs. It was a wonderful was to spend my bday. Thanks for such a positive experience!

We had a nice late lunch while walking around Pagosa Springs. Got seated immediately and the staff was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and freshly prepared. This is a nice place with really good fried catfish sandwich. The bread is fantastic here. Nice and soft and crispy, perfectly proportionex. The chicken fried steak is exactly as it should be with a nice peppery gravy. This pace is currently visibly blocked by the road construction, but it's well worth parking across the street and walking a tiny bit to eat here!

My husband and I were here a few times back in December under the previous franchise name. The food is just as good now and it was a couple of months ago. What’s enhanced is the menu! You have more of a variety but still the fried seafood. The fried shrimp & hush puppies are made to perfection & my husband had the chicken fried steak. Muagh…. With the kiss of finger tips as the Italians do. Thank you Robert for the unforgettable customer service you display. Here are a couple of pictures I must add. I’m a little backwards here on how a good review with photos is traditionally done. But…the pictures will speak volumes, lol. Lastly, I mustn’t (I’m from Texas) forget to mention that the beer is COLD here. Thank you Robert & San Juan Eatery We will be back…..again. Patricia P

Excited to try a new restaurant in Pagosa, alas, not new just a new name. Sweet concept but for a restaurant the food should be the focus and it isn't. The winner of this visit was the fried mushroom, though they also had an off-putting texture. The dishes look yummy but flavor and texture (possibly cooking oil needed changing) just don't land. San Juan Eatery is the former Lost Cajun with same offerings without the franchise. Friendly service, that definitely has a passion and heart for animals.

Diner
The Rose is a charming downtown diner known for its cozy atmosphere and generous portions of classic breakfast and lunch dishes. The menu features traditional favorites like omelets, pancakes, and waffles, as well as unique specialties such as corned beef hash and huevos rancheros. Renovated to create a brighter ambiance while maintaining its original charm, this restaurant offers down-home cooking that's perfect for fueling up before exploring Pagosa Springs.
Cozy, great food, friendly service. Stopped in for breakfast. Server was friendly and efficient. Menu offers both breakfast and lunch options, all reasonably priced for a resort/vacation town. The huevos rancheros were delicious with a spicy chili sauce. Loved the waffles, too.

My boyfriend and I had a great breakfast here. A nice, small popular restaurant. The food was delicious. I enjoyed biscuits and gravy and my boyfriend enjoyed a veggie breakfast burrito. The red and green chili were amazing. Def coming back to try other dishes.

Family of four on vacation. We just ate the best meal that we've had since we left home! My son said it was the best waffles ever had. Smothered burrito was awesome! The breakfast eggs and sausage hashbrowns were over the top. And of course, the posole was absolutely the best!

Hidden gem! It’s right on Main Street but looks like it’s from the 80’s. I think their menu is great and I had the “chopped green chile omelette”, also smothered in green chile. It was great! The filling was legit bacon chopped into strips, not bacon bits….!! It had thinly sliced peppers and onions in it also and was great! I asked for the hashbrowns to be a little crispy and they were the most perfect crispy hashbrowns Ive ever ordered. Service was fast and friendly too. Try them out!

Second visit: Came back the next day because I could not stop obsessing over the green Chile omelette, but with more green chile and sausage instead of bacon, with sliced avocado on top -that's what I ordered the second time around and my gosh was it delicious, and filling. I could only eat half! Thanks to the staff for being so accommodating. Please know this omelette inspired me to add green chiles to my eggs at home now too (YouTube vlog coming in a few weeks, where I mention the meal is "The Rose" inspired!) My partner ordered the mushroom omelette and it was also loaded with mushrooms and so filling he could also only eat half his meal, he also had a yummy pancake on the side. And the hash browns are nice and crisp. Customer service is great! Thank you guys, not just for the service, the delicious food, or accommodating my requests, but for being creative with the food and inspiring me in ways I hadn't imagined. Definitely recommend!!! First visit: Very cute, thoughtful interior. Check out the ceiling, the plants with flowers along the ceiling as well, it's quaint but has big "welcome" vibes. Our waitress was patient and very accommodating with requests. I ordered the hatch green chili omelette, avocado instead of hash browns- it is incredible! I definitely recommend. The omelette was cooked perfectly and the flavor of the green chilis was exactly what I wanted. My partner ordered the smothered breakfast burrito green chili on the side. It is cool their green chili is made with beef and not pork, but the taste overall was just not there for us. The burrito overall was ok. Also got a pancake which was huge and delicious. Service was prompt. Definitely recommend!

This is a lovely place to have breakfast. Abundant portion of good home style food. The place is clean and the food came out quickly. The service was good and attention to detail for our order was great.

Soooo friggin good! Our new favorite brunch place in Pagosa! The pozole is to DIE for and has a strong New Mexican red chile taste - get it with the flour tortillas. I also got the burrito “Christmas” style and I think I liked the green chile side a little better but loved each! It was massive and I could only eat half so definitely a good shareable dish. My husband loved his biscuits and gravy and said it was stellar white gravy. The service and vibe was fantastic as well. Totally thought I took a picture of my food before I dove in so sorry for the half eaten burrito haha

American restaurant
The Junction Restaurant, established in 1983, is a popular spot for classic home-style meals. Situated on the east side of town near the intersection of highways 160 and 84, it offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Visitors have praised its fast and friendly service, with waitstaff being attentive and courteous even during busy times. The food receives high marks as well; patrons have enjoyed dishes like biscuits and gravy with eggs or chicken fried steak and eggs.
Junction Restaurant in Pagosa Springs is a hidden gem for breakfast lovers! We ordered the French toast, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sweetness. The portion was generous and satisfying. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. She ensured our experience was seamless and enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to start the day. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend Junction Restaurant for a hearty and satisfying breakfast. We’ll definitely be back!

We love to have breakfast here. The blueberry muffins were nice and warm and very sweet but good. Our waitress was wonderful. Great personality. I wish I could remember her name, she had just moved here. Anyhow we had another great breakfast.

We stopped here as other reviewers talked about it having good parking for towing campers. Didn't really expect too much based on other reviews but we both really enjoyed our meals and the staff was really friendly and attentive. Great little gift shop there too.

Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. The menu has a decent selection. She had several tables but managed to juggle them Well and it never felt like we had to look For her. The food was excellent. There is a. Ice gift store on the premises and we both bought a t shirt. Great experience.

Breakfast for two. Really no complaints. The food was as expected and quick. B&G was good but not outstanding. No real complaints here but nothing jumping out to scream outstanding. Satisfied customer
Todd T — Google review
Disappointed in food quality and taste. Service was good. We both ordered trout with mashed potatoes and corn. Trout was not seasoned, had a gamey taste. Corn appeared to be fresh out of a can, without taste. I had gravy on my mashed potatoes which apparently covered an off taste, as my wife said hers tasted bad - she did not eat her corn or potatoes due to the taste.

Junction is that place you can get some good everyday food. It was nothing culinary, but nonetheless sufficient and better than average. The booth felt comfortable and private enough for good conversation. Service was great and friendly. I are my food before I thought about a pic.

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Wolf Creek Ski Area. Not quite as popular as Bathhouse (Hot Springs) @ The Springs Resort & Spa, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

The Wolf Creek Ski Area is a popular mountain destination for locals due to its powder days, short lift lines, and snowboard-friendly terrain. To make the most of your visit, it's recommended to arrive before 8:30 am for closer parking and consider bringing a picnic to save money. Base Camp is also suggested as an area to store belongings and eat food. The ski resort offers some of the best runs for both experienced skiers and beginners alike.
First time skier, & this was an awesome experience! Every employee there was so welcoming, friendly, & helpful! Amazing customer service! Tyler was so knowledgeable & warm. She got us all set up for our 1st ski lesson. Rick was the friendliest personality, & even gave my kids an orange from his own lunch box when they were having a meltdown. Shannon was our instructor, & she was SO positive, friendly, kind, & a wonderful teacher. We went in with low expectations & positive attitudes, & had the best experience! All the employees really seemed like they loved what they were doing, enjoyed sharing their passion for winter sports, & really wanted pass that on to others. Thank you!!!
Natalie G — Google review
First skied at Wolf Creek 10+ years ago with my wife, and recently returned over Spring Break with the spawn. Really loved the independence and vitality of skiing for skiing's sake here, not the commercialization of everything you find at Vail-associated hills. Had melt-freeze spring conditions but that meant groomers in the morning and exploration in the afternoon! If you like skiing trees, this is your place - there are defined runs, but ample room to ski most any line you please as you venture into the glades.
Joseph K — Google review
We’ve always loved skiing Wolfe Creek. It’s beautiful, runs for all levels of ski/snow boarders & all of the employees we have encountered are friendly and helpful. These 2 medics that helped my son were amazing & very concerned/caring. WARNING…DO NOT purchase more than 1 lift ticket per day just in case you have someone in your family that gets injured. They DO NOT refund lift ticket purchases even if it required being medi-flighted! We were out about $300 due to our 14yr old son falling on a run on Day 1 and having to be medi-flighted to CO springs after purchasing 2 day lift tickets for our family of 4. They also don’t honor discounts for military veteran family members. They give a discount to the veteran only. We will probably go back to Monarch in the future. I called Monarch’s sales office and inquired about refunds of lift tickets if severe accidents occurred & they said they would absolutely refund the lift tickets purchased for the entire family if we were displaced. My son lacerated his right kidney (almost in half) on “caution corner”. Be careful in that area! Thankfully, he’s healing up & will be fine. We had a blast while we were there, but really disappointed in the unwillingness to refund our lift ticket money. We could’ve definitely used the xtra $$ after medi-flighting, xtra expenses & a 4day hospital stay in CO Springs 🥴
Beth H — Google review
A hidden gem in colorado, no lines, you don't have to pay for parking, reasonable lift tickets. I recommend you take alberta chair, up to the knife ridge staircase. You gotta do a little bit of hiking to get to the staircase, take stairs, and you cross a bridge at the top You ski down the ridge and then you can get a snow Caterpillar to pick you up and tow you up to horseshoe bowl. Epic experience If you're going out on the knife, bring an avalanche beacon.
Kyle J — Google review
Went a couple of weeks ago. Foot of powder, excellent terrain, friendly locals, no lift lines, loved this mountain. Nice lodge at the base with food and small bar as well. If you want some local skiing with great snow, this is the spot you've been looking for.
David S — Google review
Mmmmight be my favorite ski area. Didn’t get much fresh snow this time but it was still perfect conditions. 5 minute wait for tickets at the base area. On New Year’s Eve. $100. Which is a great deal compared to everywhere else. Parking shuttle system was efficient. Definitely a family mountain. Terrain is terrific. And it’s huge. Can’t wait to go back.
Carl T — Google review
This is one of my favorite ski hills in Colorado, and it's definitely the best ski school for kids! After just three days, my little one is skiing like a pro! This is my third time here, and I can’t wait to come back again. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Coach Michael for the amazing snowboard lessons—after just two days, I can snowboard down any hill! It’s incredible!
Iryna — Google review
Wolf Creek Ski Resort offers an amazing mountain experience, but there are a few things to keep in mind. I would not recommend renting equipment from here. The employees were rude, and it took forever to get a pair of boots. For rentals, check out Ski and Bow Rack—they were much better. Also, don’t bother purchasing lift tickets or lessons ahead of time. Even with tickets already bought, you’ll still have to wait in long lines, which is a bit frustrating. On the plus side, the mountain is fantastic! It’s perfect for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels, with excellent coverage and most runs usually open, no matter the conditions. A big shoutout to Paige L., who did an amazing job teaching my nephew how to snowboard. He had an awesome time, and she made it a great experience! The resort is also just a quick drive from either South Fork or Pagosa Springs, so getting there is easy. Overall, while there were a few service issues, the skiing and snowboarding experience on the mountain made up for it.

Waterfall
Nature & Parks
Treasure Falls is a picturesque 105-foot waterfall located in the National Forest accessible via two hiking trails from a parking lot. Visitors can opt for a quick view of the falls from the ample parking area or hike up to them, which entails navigating steep and often muddy terrain. Nonetheless, it is just a one-mile round trip hike that typically takes an hour depending on trail conditions and hiker ability. Appropriate footwear is recommended. The waterfall lies along Hwy.
Wonderful falls! This 105’ waterfall is impressive. You have about a 1/4 mile trek to the falls that was rocky and an elevation gain of over 300’. They had 3 different views. A handicap parking lot level and a half way view and then the top view at the base of the falls.
DElightful P — Google review
The hike is well worth it. It’s a must see. My husband’s granny made the hike with us so it’s doable for most people.
Grace W — Google review
Beautiful waterfall. You can see this from the lot, for those unable to make the way up. A short uphill, relative easy hike for gorgeous view!
Becki S — Google review
We'll worth the trip. Short hike to get really up close to the falls as well as to an overlook
CCA L — Google review
The waterfall is located near the road. Parking right next to the road and then walk about half a mile uphill. On the way, the first one will be a bridge with a view of the waterfall, but if you continue going uphill, you can reach the end from where there is an even better view. It's worth it to walk to the waterfall and admire God's creation.
Aleksandr B — Google review
Breathtaking. After a short, up-hill hike you’ll be rewarded! We were here in the winter so if you’re feeling unsure about hiking over snow and/or mud, take a walking stick. An amazing experience that shouldn’t be missed if you’re in the area.
Neil L — Google review
Wow! Absolutely stunning! Parking is small and it gets really busy but worth the wait. Two trails one for beginners and another much more difficult trail. It's about 1 mile round trip but highly recommend still taking water. An absolute gem and it's free. Take the hike and enjoy nature.

Nathan's Hippy Dip Hot Spring

Nathan's Hippy Dip Hot Spring is a natural hot spring located along the banks of the San Juan River in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The hot springs are free to access and can be found where they enter the river, creating various pools with different temperatures. Some pools are very hot while others have a nice thermal gradient, making it possible to find one that suits your preference. Visitors can also take a dip in the cold waters of the San Juan River to cool off.
So this was a wonderful unexpected stop with free place to take a dip in the hot springs. Different pools were warmer or all the way down to river.
Kelly S — Google review
It is a cool idea, but the river has to be high enough to mix with the hot springs to sit in the mini rock pools. Otherwise, it's way too hot. I tried to just put my feet in, and it was burning 🔥 hot!
Faith L — Google review
Too hot to to want to keep any part of my body in except one spot that met the river. Two very pink guys were half submerged though lol. Pretty busy midday on a Tuesday but can’t complain because access and parking were free and convenient. Still nice to sit on the rocks but they can be hot and slippery. Quite stinky too. Good picnicking nearby.
Rylee E — Google review
Fun, free and goes on for a while. The Hippy Dip in the San Juan River is just right for families of all sizes. My kids absolutely had the time of their lives with my daughter telling me she was having "the best day ever" just being able to play in warm water thats supposed to be like a normal river. We relaxed and enjoyed ourselves wading in these pools of all different temperatures. That was the good part for our family, everyone wanted a different temperature and you could find it.
Kimberly L — Google review
Cute little springs especially for free. They are not very deep, but enough to sit in and have the water above your waist some. It can be busy and you night have to wait.
Zuzana P — Google review
Water level was low the day we went so no control over that. Restrooms close by were fairly clean considering near a public river. Very mossy on the rocks so be sure to wear river shoes. Best part, beautiful and free!
Betty H — Google review
Nice public area to enjoy hot springs. Crowded but really a nice spot to enjoy some outdoor time.

This is a free, public access, natural hot spring area in the heart of Pagosa Springs. Located downtown on the San Juan Riverwalk. If you have wild kids, this is. Good place to go if you are wanting a FREE, NATURAL experience! No frills, just nature. Good place to go with kids if you are worried about disturbing paying customers who are trying to relax at the posh spas around town.

Literally sitting on the deck on an amazing December with bright sunshine. Fantastic place to hang out, reasonably priced with great staff. A special shout out to Arasely - C Suite take note. Polite, informative (6 folk over 3 generations). The place to go in Pagosa Springs. Have a fabulous day.

First time coming here and we're not impressed..the locker room stunk for one. We got the upgraded relaxation terrace tickets, definitely not worth the money. We decided to go up to the 18+ pools. On the way out i realized my card wasn't working, then some rude pretentious woman walks up and says " you have to pay to be up here.". Like im some peasant who snuck in.. Half of the pools were half empty..and the water looked extremely dirty. Kids running around everywhere. ( lowkey hoped to see one fall) This place is like another tourist gimmick.. I would rather hike to a natural hot spring on the mountain..
Marcos G — Google review
If you're into hot springs resorts with a collection of small pools of varying temperatures, then this is worth a visit! The pools ranged from 95F to 110F and frequently changed temperature throughout the day by +/- 2F.. Yes, this made some pools hotter than their posted temps, and, yes, one of the staff came around often to update the posted temps. I loved seeing the calcitic formations from the springs overtaking the concrete - very pretty! I didn't like seeing the white algae and algae floaties in the pools - kind of gross. There were plenty of chairs, shade, and space to relax on a Friday. The views of the river were wonderful, as long as you're willing to put up with people staring at you from the restaurants, riverwalk, and overlook across the river, plus the occasional whitewater rafters. The drink selection was good and the staff were very friendly. The place was being cleaned, so several pools were empty; we did find a cockroach (our first in CO!), yet it was in the process of dying. Most of the clients were aged 60+, while there were a couple young families there too. Honestly, I don’t think I'll be returning due to the price in comparison with other CO hot springs, yet I was glad I came here at least once!
Brian B — Google review
Best hot springs in Colorado hands down! I absolutely love all the variety of pools with different temperatures for your choosing. The view overlooking the river is really nice. I also love the fact that you have direct access to the river if you choose. I think there is a great effort made to provide lots of shaded spots during the summer. The grounds are larger than most hot springs. I love that there are servers that walk around and take your food and drink order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back again! (For reference, I visited in the summer during a week day. )
Amanda C — Google review
Wonderful, peaceful experience. We truly enjoyed our relaxing time here and can’t wait to be back. They have drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and different temperature pools. Highly recommend buying the pass that includes the adult-only pools ahead of time, they’ll run out by the time you get there if it’s busy!
Patrisha F — Google review
Pretty cool experience if you’re in the area. Multiple pools ranging at different temperatures. But I think if you’re paying $70 for a day pass, towels should be included.
Joshua L — Google review
While visiting the bath house I lost my car keys and discovered this near closing time. The staff at the bath house were kind, creative, and helpful. As my phone was locked inside the car, a front desk attendant offered to drive me to my lodging if needed and the facilities staff Aex and Jautnas found a way to open the locked car. Kudos to the staff for relating to its customers as people not just nameless faces in times of need. Truly, teamwork made the dream work for me as I arrived at my lodging that evening relaxed even after the unexpected hiccup.

Went there with some friends, we where driving from Nevada to Austin and this was a great place to hang out for a day in the middle. We met someone who works there G (interesting name..) They showed us around the different springs and told us more about the history of the place, the healing powers, the native American history and the different pools. Like the lobster pot, the waterfall that's steaming hot on one side, and cold on the other Really cool, definitely turned it into a 5 star day :) Coming from Europe I'm used to places like this having a couple cold water pools to the whole cold water hot water thing, that's something I would have liked to see more of

The Lost Cajun in Pagosa Springs, CO offers a delightful dining experience with its international cuisine options including sushi, Mexican, and Italian eateries. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere is adorned with Louisiana-themed decor that adds to the homey feel. Visitors can enjoy a variety of dishes such as gator bites, fish & chips, and beignets served warm for a delectable treat.
Such a small place seeves up some BIG flavors! The fish & shrimp platter, the fried oyster poboy w/onion rings and coleslaw were all amazing and delicious. Add a little extra swamp salt to everything (BAM!). I wanted to try their Jambalaya, but they were out of it. The beignets were delicious, but different than I had in NOLA. These were crispy, thin, airy puffs, not fluffy and doughy. I highly recommend this

I will let yall know I'm native to Louisiana so Cajun food is what I do. For starters, the atmosphere was great the photos, jerseys, and other decorations help you feel at home. Next, the Staff was amazing we were greeted at the door plus we were a large party of 9. The gator bites were amazing I wanted to order more but I didn't want to overdo it but I highly recommend them. The rest of our meals everyone enjoyed. I will say this it wasn't completely like home but it was good enough to remind me of some other the great food we love so much back home.

The Lost Cajun serves the best food in Pagosa Springs and probably the best Cajun food anywhere. The Voodoo Pasta is fantastic and we also enjoyed the Gumbo, Jambalaya and Poor boy. Wow! What an excellent meal. The staff was fast and friendly. Don't forget to save room for the Beignets!!
Randal T — Google review
Fun atmosphere but disappointing food. The service was friendly and attentive, but the food was lacking a lot of flavor. The free sample gumbos were tasty, but the poboy and voodoo pasta were bland. The gumbo might be worth going back for if you are looking for a hot soup. However, I don’t plan to return even though the beignets were very redeeming after the entrees.

Tequila's Pagosa is a Mexican restaurant located in downtown with a prime spot by the San Juan River. The outdoor seating offers magnificent views of the river and hot springs, creating a lovely ambiance. The menu features standard Mexican fare, including fajitas, combo plates, and house margaritas. While some dishes like the chicken fajitas received praise for their tenderness and flavor, others were criticized for being bland.
All of the one star reviews over water are comical. This restaurant has excellent atmosphere. True Mexican. Service was superb. Our waitress was Carmen and she was just lovely. I got the carne asada/double rice. A few shots of tequila and some margaritas. My husband had carne asada enchiladas and a few beers. We are both just beyond impressed with the tenderness of the asada, overall flavor and experience. Very clean inside and out. Delicious food. Best place we’ve eaten since we got to the resort. The manager was also attentive to our needs and very friendly. Highly recommend it. ⭐️ Enjoy!

Tequila's Mexican restaurant has the Best view on the San Juan River in Pagosa Springs CO. So why on GOD'S green earth wouldn't you have exceptional service and food. The good: The view. The bad: food, service, margaritas, and atmosphere. We asked if the guacamole was fresh, we were told "yes". Nope! I can almost bet it was "Great Value" Walmart bought. Chips, from a bag and stale. For Pete's sake Tequila is the name of the restaurant. Have killer margaritas...nope! Watered down lumpy ice frozen margarita. Horrible! Service was atrocious....our server acted if she didn't want to be there. I'm Mexican, so it pains me to see such a potential great place have a lack of respect to our culture of delicious food. Waste your money if you want, but I'd stay away from this place. Go to Beny's down the street if you want really good authentic Mexican food.

Good food - Big portions! A little bland for me, but I'm a spicy Mexican 🌶️🔥🇲🇽🌮🫔🌯 Beautiful wrap-around deck overlooking the river and hit springs. Bright colorful artist, tables, family restaurant vibe clean inside and out. Clean bathrooms. Friendly service. People complaining about bottled water are ridiculous. Tap ice water might not be a thing because of the hot springs. Great people watching spa everybody's in the hot springs . Entire area has the odor of sulfur. (DUH).

Don't try to get a glass of water at this restaurant. They will not give you a glass of water. They will SELL you a bottle. My wife and I had dinner and drinks here. They would not provide her a glass of water with her Margarita. They only sell water in bottles. We heard this conversation at other tables too. The service was slow. The server was quick to clean empty tables but our server would then walk by us and not ask if we needed anything else. We wanted a second round of drinks to enjoy the view from the patio. The food was mediocre. The only reason to come is the patio view. It overlooks the river and hot springs. A very nice view from the patio.

We were super disappointed in this establishment. We couldn’t wait to have a margarita and enjoy the view but the minute we walked in we were greeted by extremely unfriendly staff who seemed annoyed by our presence. They would not seat us because 2 of our party were on the way even though they were not busy AT ALL. We get it, policy is policy, so we waited. However, once the rest of our party did arrive, nobody came back to seat us and we had to go find someone to help us. The attitude from the staff was unbelievable from dirty looks to snapping at us when we had questions. Not to mention it took way too long to order and receive our drinks and 2 of us never got our drink. We were also charged for bottled water we never received. We ended up cashing out before ordering food because we felt so uncomfortable. And then it took another 20 minutes to get our checks and we didn’t bother to correct them on the overcharges because we just couldn’t wait to get out of there. Super disappointing considering we were ready to enjoy our afternoon there and spend a lot of money. I don’t usually ever post a bad review but as a long time visitor of Pagosa, I’ve never had an experience like that.

Hardest mids in the west, with a price tag that will will break your bank. Stopped by long ago and decided to check again to see if it had improved. As other reviews have said, top tier location, fantastic views. Hard mids on the food and service was a bit rude. They charge for water, and expect to find a $25 3 taco plate here. While convenient I'd recommend going somewhere else. I will say, they were understaffed and I understand what comes with that, but being treated rudely was a bit uncalled for when you're not being a demanding Karen of a customer.

Extremely disappointing visit tonight. The staff clearly have an issue with any and all dogs and minimally tolerate service animals per legal requirements. The hostess asked if it was a service animal, as if I didn't see their huge sign outside, and then actually instructed me that he has to be under the table... I'm well aware of service animal laws. I'm also a firm believer in giving people the chance to prove themselves. I mean... I gave this restaurant a chance to prove themselves... 🤣 BIG FAIL. I was hoping to enjoy a relaxing evening in this beautiful tourist town after a rough day and my waitress did absolutely everything she could to rush my dinner. I ordered a beer and two tacos. I am a petite female with eating disorders... I don't eat a lot in general. Twice the waitress asked me if everything was okay before I managed to eat even half a taco. Then, she brings the check without bothering to ask if I wanted anything else. I was stunned to see she brought the ticket and let her know I wanted another beer. She takes the ticket and leaves to get the beer. She clearly paid less attention to the salt on the rim for the second beer. Then, she proceeded to bring my ticket over again without asking if I would like anything else. Not once was I even asked if I'd like dessert... I started to pay attention to the other customers and no one was harassed nearly as much as me. And finally, she actually seemed shocked that I'd asked for a to-go box for my complimentary chips as Id planned to reward my dog outside of the restaurant for his excellent behavior while working inside the restaurant. She was too lazy to grab the box herself and instructed another gentleman. Never saw the waitress again. And well, extremely expensive for mediocre tacos and beer that everyone else serves. I regret spending money at the location and they lost out on at least an additional $15-20. Shame shame.

If you'd like to sit and eat with a nice view this place is good for that. As long as you don't mind overpriced mediocre food. The food was edible and came out very quickly at least. The staff was friendly enough. But I won't be back. The chimichanga had lots of meat but was very bland with no flavor and wasn't served with any sauces or sour cream. Next time I'll either drive to the other side of town or go grab takeout from elsewhere to sit by water with a view.

ROOT HOUSE coffee + shop is a charming spot located in Pagosa Springs, offering high-quality, ethically-sourced Colorado-roasted beans for an exceptional coffee experience. In addition to their gourmet espresso and artisan lattes, the shop also serves delicious made-from-scratch baked goods and a variety of teas. Visitors can relax on the lovely deck overlooking the San Juan River while enjoying their hot beverages and browsing through locally crafted jewelry, hats, t-shirts, and other artisan items available at the shop.
We're staying across the river at The Springs resort and took the very convenient pedestrian bridge from the resort to ROOT HOUSE and it was such a great decision. The good, drink, atmosphere and staff were all amazing. It's a popular location so there was always a line this Saturday morning but the staff worked hard and did an amazing job. We had the house latte, a pour over, a sausage bite, a kolache, and slice of lemon cake. Our latte and pour over were the best we've had in a really long time and that good was delicious. There's a variety of seating options outside and inside and a wonderful woodsy/camping gift shop. I imagine we'll be back tomorrow before we depart Pagosa Springs and think this is a great place to stop if you're just passing through!

1st it's cute and busy on a Sunday morning! Super nice sevice a bit slow on the custom drinks as it's small in here with lots of fun thing for sale. Nice gifts. I got Irish coffe, spinach feta quiche, and an espresso cinnamon roll. Took a bit long on the coffee but pretty cool spot over looking the Pagos hot springs. Thanks for your time😇.

Great crew! Great espresso! Right next to the river. Dog friendly. Life doesn’t get any better than this! Have a cup for you and a pup cup for your dog and walk the river trail to see some deer, ducks or crazy kayakers.

Pretty steady stream of customers when we arrived. Ordering was pretty quick and easy. My wife got her coffee in about 15 minutes. I waited another 15 for my pour over. I asked the barista and he told me he had made one for a lady before me and someone else took it. When I asked about mine he shrugged. So I asked for him to at least send me away with something. I paid $9 and walked away with a $2.75 drip coffee. Completed disappointment of a place. I hope they enjoy the tip I gave them at the register.

Love the vibes, it is like super outdoorsy like outpost vibes while also being lowkey coffee shop. Staff was super kind and patient. They had little items to buy through the store that were more towards getting outside which makes sense cause that is their slogan. Maple cinnamon roll was great, coffee was great.

Absolutely love this Pagosa Springs gem! Their pumpkin chai and cinnamon banana muffins (gluten free) were soooo DELICIOUS! Picked up the cutest unique souvenirs as well. Such a great spot to hang out close to the river too

Beautiful, rustic setting overlooking the San Juan River in gorgeous Pagosa Springs. The Root House offers an array of tasty pastries, including gluten-free options, flourless quiches, smoothies and of course, coffee. Excellent coffee, like many of the coffee houses in the area. You can sit inside, on comfy leather chairs, stools, or hang out on their patio with a good view. They also host a gift shop, with high-end goodies to take home, from coffee-making supplies, to candles, Root House swag, outdoorsy stuff, or funky playing cards. All in all, a comforting way to spend a couple of hours.

Neon Mallard is a cozy, speakeasy-style lounge located in the recently renovated Nightingale Motel on Main Street. The bar serves classic cocktails until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on weekends. It has a funky cool decor and an outdoor fire pit, creating a great ambiance for enjoying drinks with friends. The menu features unique cocktails like the Apricot Sour and Pagosa St Special, as well as appetizers such as charcuterie boards and bruschetta.
Great atmosphere! Great drinks! Great food! Must come check out!! Get the dessert cocktails or really any! They are all delicious. Cody, Shawn and Michael took really amazing care of us!! Local favorite!

This bar is really fun! They have great drinks and the service is excellent. They go out of their way to make you feel like you matter! I had the margarita and we shared a piece of delicious cheesecake! They were very busy but everyone was working hard and trying to get the drinks out fast. The decor is fantastic- eclectic and interesting. What a great place to people watch and relax! Thank you for a great experience here!!

We each tried two cocktails and we were very happy with all of the choices. Great and friendly service and we enjoyed the music and videos they played on the big screen. The interior is very dark and moody and we loved the funky mix of styles. Highly recommend a stop here if you appreciate good cocktails. The best drinks we had during our week in Pagosa and far better than the tourist trap options.

We stayed at the motel attached to the neon mallard. We loved going there for a post-dinner hangout. We were there for four days at the end of May but before Memorial Day, 2025. The drinks were great, I love the spicy margarita with the infused tequila. The drinks were quite strong each night. The service is very slow, unfortunately. One of my drinks took 17 minutes to order and then over 25 to end up at my table. One night, there was live music that I truly thought was a recording. The singer's voice was 10/10 amazing. We ordered the charcuterie board the first night we visited and ordered every offering, which I believe was between $45-$50. I was disappointed with the quality and amount of food. It felt very stingy and didn't really have any high-quality ingredients that I couldn't get from any grocery store. It would be amazing to have some local offerings on there and bigger portions for the cost. We also tried the cheesecake, which was good but nothing special or out of this world. I would love to see chocolate cake (with flour) or a brownie on the menu. The vibe makes up for any disappointments with mood lighting, good music, and cozy seating. I will update this when we return next with more details!

We didn't eat because we had just had dinner at a different location, but we wanted to stop in here for a drink because our friends had recommended it for exceptional cocktails and its cool, eclectic vibe. Very enjoyable. My wife had an Apricot Sour and loved it, even though she doesn't generally go for whiskey-based drinks. I had a Pagosa St Special which was also really good. The interior has a funky cool decor and the patio has a great gas fire pit which we enjoyed as the night cooled off. Planning to go back and try the charcuterie board at some point since several people recommended it. Definitely give them a try.

I left the hot springs looking for a cocktail that was anything other than the icky sweet things they serve there. I specifically chose this place because they advertised that it was open until 10pm. I arrived at 8:50 and the bartender said they had already closed everything down. They "helpfully" suggested someplace else to try. Granted, it was dead inside and I was the only customer there, but seriously, don't advertise hours you're not keeping!

Nestled in the heart of Pagosa Springs, the Rainbow Gift Shop is a delightful treasure trove featuring three unique stores brimming with an eclectic mix of items. The main shop showcases an array of gifts, clothing, and adorable plush toys alongside local merchandise that captures the spirit of Pagosa Springs. Meanwhile, their second location specializes in stunning rocks and minerals sourced from both the Great Southwest and beyond.
This has to be the best gift shop in Pagosa! Everyone is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I had the opportunity to meet the owner who has owned this place for many years. She gave me some history lessons and answered all the questions I had. I really enjoyed this stop, I am so glad we found out about this place. They even gift wrapped our rocks for our loved ones! Most definitely will stop every time I’m here. Thanks guys! ☺️

Wonderful place to visit. There is alot to see so bring plenty of time. The third room was my favorite. Amazing artwork and a wonderful energy throughout the room. I bought two beautiful pieces. A beautiful pair of earrings by artist Genevieve Harvey and a gorgeous Charoite necklace by Navajo artist, Rosita Singer. I spent time talking to a wonderful lady who educated me on the different artists. She shared stories from her past as she was sipping her coffee. 🥰

I stopped in here with my small dog this past Friday and had the best experience. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming!! My dog loved getting all the affection from the kind staff. Christopher was especially helpful in explaining the meanings and uses for the different rocks I was interested in. This store has the most amazing selection of rocks , minerals, crystals as well as Native American art and jewelry. I wanted to stop back before I left to grab a few more trinkets but my time ran out. I guess I have one more excuse to come back (like I needed another).

Rocky Mountain Balloon Adventures offers a breathtaking hot air balloon experience over the San Juan Mountain Range, starting at sunrise. Established in 1986, it has attracted visitors from around the world seeking an unforgettable adventure. The tours provide a panoramic view of four states from heights of up to 3,000 feet. The friendly and knowledgeable crew ensures a safe and enjoyable ride, with the option to celebrate afterwards with champagne or mimosas.
Absolutely loved this experience and Austin (our pilot) was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, awesome at what he does, and clearly loves flying. We did the sunrise ride. Easy to get to, coffee and restrooms available at the meet up site. They drive you to the take off spot and the team assembles everything. We flew in 2 groups and when we returned to where we met up there was a champagne toast with donuts and a prayer! Austin’s dad started ballooning in pagosa springs so I’m sure this is very close to his heart. Highly recommend to anyone visiting. 100% worth it!

My hot air balloon ride in Pagosa Springs, Colorado with Austin and his team was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and so much fun. Austin is not only an amazing pilot but also made us feel completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire flight. His crew was welcoming and handled everything with ease, making the adventure perfect from beginning to end. The views over Pagosa Springs were breathtaking—floating high above the mountains, lakes, and valleys surrounded by dozens of colorful balloons was truly a dream come true. I even captured my bucket-list shot of the hot air balloons from the sky during the Pagosa Springs Colorfest hot air balloon festival. The landing was so smooth I didn’t even realize we had touched down—Austin made it feel effortless. If you’re visiting Pagosa Springs and looking for an unforgettable experience, I can’t recommend this hot air balloon flight enough. It was the highlight of my trip, and something I’ll never forget!

Austin and his crew were great! It was our first balloon ride for our 10 year anniversary and the ascent, ride and decent were all smooth. BRING A HAT! The heat from the balloon can radiate a little. They were nice enough to let me borrow one 😅. Greatly appreciated guys!

We did a sunrise flight with Austin and his crew and had a great experience. Everyone met up to watch the envelope (balloon) get inflated and prepped for flight, as well as go over safety instructions. Then, we were split into two groups. One went up while the others remained on the ground and chased the balloon to its landing spot. Then, the groups switched and we went up while the other group chased. Once both groups had been in the air for about 30 minutes each, we “helped” pack the balloon back up. Last, we returned to the meeting spot to learn the history of hot air ballooning, the balloonists’ prayer, and a champagne toast (they had orange juice for those who do not prefer champagne). They had a little gift shop, and a photographer who took quite a few pictures you could purchase after the ride. The pictures I included here are my personal phone pictures. It was a wonderful experience!

Our family of 7 went on a balloon ride with Austin as our driver. Amazing!! One of the best excursions we have done; highly recommend. All of the workers were great. Very knowledgeable about the area and ballooning. We were nervous about heights but never once did anyone get scared. The added champagne toast and story of ballooning (with actions!) was the best! I would recommend for everyone!

City Hall Cafe and Grille is a must-visit gem in Pagosa Springs. The menu offers a variety of fresh and delicious dishes, from Blackened Mahi Mahi to veal florentine and Cajun trio. The house-made sauces and fresh salads make this place stand out. Despite being short-staffed, the service was excellent, with helpful staff accommodating special dietary needs.
Had a great experience over here was our first time coming into town. Only downside is the prices. They are very expensive but overall enjoyed our meal. The black and shrimp was very salty. Couldn’t really enjoy eating it unfortunately but everything else was wonderful. The owner was a lovely lady Atmosphere was great.

I don't really have any complaints about the food here. I ordered a Greek salad with blackened chicken and it was a delicious and a generous portion. The service was good by my server but not as well by the person who seated me. I was disappointed that the food looked amazing on a a great glass plate, but the flatware was actually plastic forks. Understandably the doors were open too which isn't uncommon here but I did have a flying ant on me during the meal and a wasp wouldn't leave me or my plate alone while I was seated inside. I'm allergic to both. I did order a key lime pie to take home and share which flipped over and looked like a mess when I got home even though I thought I kept it upright. But with the salad, an iced tea and a slice of key lime pie, I spent over $35 for myself. It felt like a lot, even for the area.

My 10 yr old great nephew was served a burnt & extremely greasy grill cheese sandwich tonight. It appeared they had tried to scrape some of the burnt off before serving it. I sure felt like leaving a 0 tip. How is suppose to monitor the service? Cook or waitress?? Our meal came out after everyone else was nearly finished eating. Valentines Day we ordered stuffed shells & received manicotti. No explanation! I have ordered a tower of eggplant twice & it was as black as tar & covered with sauce. You served lollipop lamb chops with blood running out on Valentine’s night. I think you have received 4 strikes for not quality food the 4 times we have brought out of town guest. The 10 yr old had to spit part of the sandwich in a napkin & had to dispose of it in the restroom.

Among Pagosa’s higher-end restaurants—like Meander Eatery and Alley House—City Hall stands out for being more moderately priced, which adds to its appeal. However, you shouldn’t expect the same level of exceptional service or cuisine as those establishments. The food and service are good, just not outstanding, so keep that in mind. When dining at City Hall, be cautious about seating on the porch; it’s quieter but the service tends to be less attentive than in the main dining room. For menu choices, the Italian dishes and grilled meats are your best bet. The Eggplant Tower is excellent and is a signature dish, while the seafood options are less reliable. Desserts are a highlight—especially the Key Lime pie and the cakes. Overall, City Hall is worth a visit and earns a solid recommendation.

Was told to go here by a local for dinner. AMAZING! Had the crab cakes and the Delmonico steak. I’m from MD originally and these are some of the best crab cake I have ever had. You could tell everything was made fresh. Would definitely go back when I visit Pagosa Springs again.

The price seems to be quite steep for a café, but my guess is due to limited dining options in the small town of Pagosas Spring. The dinner menu was by far not the most extensive, but I admit that I had a difficult time deciding what to eat, because the choices were equally appealing. In the end, I ordered one of the items on Chef's special, that was trout stuffed with crab meat and shrimp. Great attention was also given to the zucchini too. All entrees came with your choice of salad or soup. The buns and butter were the perfect way to warm up for the dish of the night.

Walked in and said we want 6-foot-long sandwiches. She was like, “ 6? Yeah, I said 6. Weren’t you listening?” And just so you know, 6-foot-long sandwiches cost a small fortune. There are places you can eat a lot cheaper and get better food. I’m probably going back to Subway, but my opinion of them just went down after this experience.

It has cut off getting into a lot of businesses however with Subway being on the corner with a traffic light it is easy in and easy out. Upon arrival there were seven in front of me. The two employees that were working there did a fantastic job. They were friendly, professional and fast. It was just a case of minutes before thet got to me. They made my sandwich as I requested and it was excellent. I recommend this Subway.

It was hot in there....I was so hungry. Also needed a restroom. Need code for that & then the door was still tricky. And because of my eagerness for a bathroom they weren't thrilled to serve me. And it showed. Also don't understand why a company that could so easily offer at least one solid vegan sandwich refuses. I ask for a hefty amount of spinach & they pretend I won't notice when they don't....had way more lettuce. Anywho, as a vegan I'm kinda starving in Pagosa & this place didn't help. Nor did the other location where I orderd through the app. That sandwich was even less filled than today's. Photos of my very thin sandwich that my sandwich maker was concerned about not being able to close are posted. I should have walked out. The bathroom code has to be entered in just right otherwise it won't work. I really needed to go. I told them it wasn't working & the female worker seemed to believe I had missed the big signs announcing gender. I let her know I could read & she got offended....???????? The guy was helpful concerning this............he is also the one who made my sandwich. I don't ever mean to offend those who serve me, however, I am not a perfect person & I certainly wasn't particularly rude when I said it. It was matter-of-factly. 3 days ago I orderd a 6in & it had more spinach on it than today's 12in. I also got a side of turkey for my pooch that visit. If you are a meat eater they care more???? 2 bads out of 3 & I'm done with Subway. These 3 visits were my first in about 15 years. #vegansubway #veganpagosaspringscolorado #vegansubwaynotrecommended No veggie patty....no meaty mushrooms.....no.....hummus or any creative veggie protein option....will Subway ever evolve????

The franchise owner should disable coupons if they're not going to accept them. Canceling orders after they're placed just causes confusion for everyone. Especially as the app doesn't make it clear to the user when an order is cancelled; just an easily miss-able email

Subway was a great support for our local fundraiser, thank you Brad & Kim. The sandwiches were a healthy hit at our large event of 150 people. Thank you for supporting PCI!

Did a online order at 5:11 didn't get my sandwiches until an hour later, sandwiches were gross and soggy,

We received excellent service at this subway. They took very good care of hygiene as we are vegetarian. Ideal location in Pagosa Springs. Just by downtown.

Cafe
Cafe Colorado is a beloved breakfast spot among locals in Pagosa Springs. The restaurant offers a menu filled with classic breakfast options such as eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, and various breakfast sandwiches. It's recommended to arrive early as it tends to get crowded.
Everything was on point at this restaurant! The food, the service, the prices! It was my favorite restaurant in Pagosa Springs. I had the Denver omelette and my husband had the French toast. Both were delicious! The country potatoes were my favorite - cooked perfectly with a nice flavor! Highly recommend stopping here for breakfast!!

We were immediately welcomed and seated in this clean and farm fresh decor cafe. Our server, Diane, was friendly and helped me select my entre to meet my vegetarian needs. She offered me her favorite (off menu) hashbrown stuffed veggie quesidilla. It was delicious, but too much for me to eat, so I took have to go, so she brought extra salsa and sour cream. 😋 Sam had the Huevas Rancheros with both green and red salsa (Christmas style).

Nowhere beats this place when it comes to breakfast! I will always be a frequent customer. The employees are just amazing and the food is to die for. I one hundred percent recommend!

I happened to stay close by and this was my go to breakfast spot. Pretty small waitstaff so you get to know them pretty quickly, but they’re all super friendly! Never too long of a wait for a table, and the food comes out quick and fresh! Definitely would recommend 🙏🏿

Such a great cafe! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, considering we had a large group from out of town. The food was so good, they had the cutest hot chocolate for the kiddos.. 10/10

Prices not worth what you get. They offered a half order for a half order on a salad but didn't tell us it was only $2 less ($13.75 on a $15.75 salad) but charged and $4 to add bacon to a burger...the waitress said she doesn't pay attention to the prices she just delivers the food. They closed in 45 minutes but we're preparing to close vacuuming the whole time, gave us our check 7 minutes after we got our food and kept checking if we were ready to go

A great place to eat in town. We stopped in for breakfast and were promptly greeted by the staff. The service and food were good and the food wasn’t overpriced.

Restaurant
Welcome to Black Bart's Brunch, a delightful culinary venture brought to life by the dynamic duo, Bart and Christie. Inspired by the legendary Old West figure, Black Bart—an infamous gentleman bandit from the 1800s—this brunch spot aims to infuse fun and flavor into your dining experience. Since 2018, they have been perfecting their coffee roasting skills and food concepts, culminating in their exciting opening in 2023.
I don't know where to start. The menu is so unique. They took boring breakfast food and zhuzhed it up. Trust me, there's something on this menu that you will want for breakfast or brunch or lunch. I had such trouble deciding. I ended up with chicken waffle with the Asian sauce. And my significant other got the Hash Mash. 6 out of 5 stars for both. Coffee was too notch. A lot of effort put into this menu. A lot of effort put into the quality and recipes. Staff was so friendly! We were able to sit outside with our dog which was a bonus because it was a hot day. We were in a nice shady spot. I loved everything about this experience and recommend stopping here. I would definitely come back the next time I'm passing through. Many gluten-free options Many vegetarian options

Great food and really really nice staff! We came here based on reviews and local recommendations and were not disappointed. It didn't hurt that the waffles were something we don't see on menus that often. The food was fresh and hot and the atmosphere was really pleasant and our server was excellent. The coffee was really good and I actually got one for the road. We'll be back when we come through, for sure.

If you’ve read my reviews, you’ll know that when I travel I like to experience the outstanding and unique offerings wherever I am staying. Black Bart’s Brunch definitely checked both of those boxes. Chicken and Waffles is definitely a favorite of mine, and since BBB had them, I had to try them. Normally I’m a straightforward maple syrup guy with this dish, but when Bart himself told me the Nashville Hot version was popular, I decided to go for it. Couldn’t have made a better decision. Also ended up sharing an order of the Waffle Sweet Potato fries with their special caramel dipping sauce. They were perfectly crispy with just the right amount of salt, and you definitely don’t want to miss the caramel sauce!

⚠️ warning ⚠️ Sunday is a brunch $25 per person and extra for beverages. A cute quaint place. Food was good but the buffet was always almost empty . Waitress was nice, took my order for diet coke but later into my meal I found out there was none...bummer...im sure any day but Sunday is the day to go here. If I had known Sunday was buffet only we would've ate elsewhere. I think this should be clearly advertised on the web and out front before you walk in.

Black Barts was delicious! I ordered the starry night lemonade (fancy strawberry lemonade) and had the Korean style chicken and waffles. Both were fantastic. I also got to try the Mumbai fries which were wonderful as well. Warning though they’re spicy 🥵

I got the chicken sandwich it was very large, crunchy, jucy and delicious would definitely get it again it didn't come with fries so next time I will get fries with it over all great food. . Building layout is kinda weird no place to wait till your table is ready your just standing in a hallway. but Friendly staff with great suggestions I want to try the chicken and waffles they look great and I know the chicken is great.

What an amazing lunch. My Sister and I came here for lunch! I ordered the Mumbai fries. My sister ordered Bibimbap Rice dish. The Mumbai fries were one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. Everything was fresh and made from scratch. The flavor was explosive. The Korean BBQ sauce on my sisters dish was amazing. Don’t miss out on this amazing establishment.
