Barbecue restaurant
Southern restaurant (US)
The Pig & Pint, located in the Fondren area of Jackson, is a beloved barbecue joint that has won numerous 'Best Of' awards. The restaurant offers classic pulled barbecue and ribs as well as innovative dishes like the loaded 'Fondren Fries,' Nachos, and Smoked Pimento Cheese. In addition to its delicious food, The Pig & Pint boasts an extensive craft beer selection featuring brews from Mississippi, the Southeast, and beyond.
I came to Jackson for a wedding and this was my first time in the city and state. This was also my first true meal in the South. I understand that many people gave differing opinions on BBQ across the country and it can be a very hot topic in the South and Texas, so take this review from the perspective and palate from someone who is from Los Angeles (where we have good BBQ but it is not as consistent and as good as places elsewhere). This was one of the best meals I ever had. The staff was friendly, everyone was welcoming, I felt at home, and everyone was constantly checking in on my friend and I. They even gave us a rundown of sauces in case we needed it. Fantastic meal. Thank you for showing me Southern Hospitality!

As someone from Kansas City, MO—home to some of the best BBQ in the country—I can say this place truly impresses. In fact, it ranks #1 on my personal list of favorite BBQ spots I’ve ever visited. The brisket and pork were incredibly moist and packed with flavor, achieving the perfect balance of smokiness without overpowering the meat. The smoked mac ‘n’ cheese was a delicious twist on a classic, and the hand-cut fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was bursting with flavor and thoughtful seasoning. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the hefty serving sizes—they really give you great value for your money. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch—super friendly and attentive—and the restaurant was very clean, adding to a great dining experience. The atmosphere was unique and welcoming, making it a spot you’d want to return to again and again. My only disappointment? It’s not local to KC and sits 675 miles away from home! Otherwise, I’d be coming here regularly. If you’re a BBQ lover, this place is a must-try.

Pig & Pint I had 2 meat plate, brisket and ribs, and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich. Sides were a corn salad, pork rinds and smoked green beans. I really enjoyed the smoked beans. My wife enjoyed the corn. I was on the fence. And the pork rinds (plain) were the perfect medium to try their 5 sauces. Carolina mustard, Sriracha, Chipotle, sweet bbq. Hot bbq. I personally wasn't a fan of any except the sweet and hot bbq. But having that variety was awesome. Pulled pork was moist and went well with any of the sauces you prefer. Not a ton of flavor in the meat by itself. The brisket, was well smoked, good bark, but, mine was from the flat and was a little on the dry side. Great flavor. The ribs all individually cut, we're at first bite really good. Juicy, tender. Smokey, but the last 2 after sitting while I enjoyed all the food were almost soggy. While it still tasted the same, soggy meat texture wasn't the best. I'm not sure how they went from tight and moist, to soggy. $40 ish for our meal and an $8 craft beer.. good music. Almost all seating is outdoor or under an awning. No indoor seating that i saw.

It was time for some BBQ! We were recommended to go to the Pig and Pint for lunch. Of course we ordered a ton of food and loved every bite! The ribs, chicken, pulled pork and brisket were seasoned and cooked to perfection! The Mac n Cheese and potato salad were perfect sides. Also, of course, I had some sweet tea and then we had to eat some banana pudding (we didn't put up that much of a fight, but couldn't finish it all there). What a great place!
Philip K — Google review
Stopped by here for lunch today and it was phenomenal. The service and food were great. Parking was a little tight. I’m from out of town so maybe I’m not sure where the overflow parking may have been. Once inside, there is many great options to choose from and the service was top notch. I highly recommend you stop by here for a bite to eat.
Ryan K — Google review
This was my first time trying the beef ribs. I must say the small amount of meat I was able to taste was very tender but lacked seasoning. There wasn’t much meat on the ribs, mostly fat. The macaroni was not it for me, just overly cheesy pasta. The green tomatoes are awful, sorry… not sorry. This was a first and last for me. This plate was definitely not worth the whopping $37.17 I spent.
Marie R — Google review
BBQ and beer in a dive with plenty of outside tables. The ribs were tender and had good smoke. Brisket wasn’t as tender and smoky as I like, but still ok. Several sides to choose from and 5 sauce choices. Worth a short detour off I-20 if passing through town.
Michael B — Google review
Fantastic BBQ and beer. Brisket was exceptional - flavorful and tender. Pig & Pint sauces were very good. Service was excellent and friendly. Note that all tables are outside.

Diner
Brent's Drugs is a classic 1946 drug store soda fountain that has retained its vintage charm. It offers a variety of diner comfort foods, including handmade milkshakes, burgers, and fries. The retro blue and white booths and soda fountain counter provide a nostalgic setting for families to enjoy their meals. Despite its old-fashioned appearance, Brent's Drugs is known for its friendly neighborhood diner atmosphere.
Brent’s Drugs is a historical Jackson staple! Excellent for breakfast, lunch or dinner and the milkshakes are out of this world. Breakfast is cooked to order eggs, 🍳 crispy bacon, 🥓, pancakes 🥞, omelettes, and toast among other common breakfast items. Hot coffee ☕️ is always ready. Lunches of tuna sandwich, egg salad, pimento cheese, clubs, grilled cheeses and burgers and fries and onion rings. Brent’s has the charm of a diner/drug store from the 40’s with a modern kitchen and service. Eat at Brent’s.

Definitely worth a visit! We walked over for lunch today and were very pleased. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a classic soda fountain at a pharmacy from the Golden Days. The menu has lots of great classic choices including a very wallet friendly kids menu. We all had cheeseburgers. They were delicious, prepared to perfection and served with very fresh toppings. Also, great value for your dollar!! Last but certainly not least is the staff! Our hostess was friendly, engaging and went out of her way to find my sons Leprechaun color pages. Kyle was our server. He gave great recommendations, was friendly, patient with kids and just overall amazing! We will definitely be back the next time we visit Jackson!

Stopped for lunch on a Monday, while on our way through town. We were seated immediately. Service was wonderful and quick. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, burgers, fries, and a kid's grilled cheese. Everything was tasty. Only complaint was that the fries were a bit soggy, even though they didn't appear that way. We also ordered a pb&j milkshake that was tasty. Atmosphere was great. We recommend visiting.
Erin B — Google review
A neat little place almost hidden away in the heart of the city. The food was delicious, although the onion rings were very greasy but crisp. The burger was a tad overcooked, but that was my fault for not specifying first, but was still delicious though. The chocolate malt was perfect 👌. I did enjoy the location and the vintage look and feel of anything. The issue I had with the atmosphere is that I was being pestered by gnats and flies that made their way inside. Overall though, I would say this is a must visit for Jackson.
Thomas B — Google review
What a great nostalgic diner! Food was good, biscuits were great! Old soda shop very fun. Worth the trip.

One of our favorites anytime we are in Jackson! Always hot and delicious!!! The burgers are cooked to perfection and the onion rings are crisp and crunchy!!!

One of my all-time favorite places in Jackson. Outstanding service: always friendly, outgoing, personable. Food is consistently tasty and always hits the spot! The atmosphere is a cool, laid back, retro vibe. Oh yeah, treat yourself to dessert. You'll be sorry, if you don't!

Everything about this old school diner was just fantastic, the atmosphere was so old school and I loved it. The food was amazing and full of flavor, I got the buttermilk pancakes and they were just perfect and my eggs was cooked to the exact way I like my eggs. Our waitress ebony 💕was full or smiles and suggestions to the breakfast cut potatoes, whi h was delicious. My husband got the bobs burrito and taste so fresh. Will definitely be back due to we are not from Mississippi but eating at this place just made our Mississippi last food pit stop just a perfect ending 👨‍🍳💋🤤

Specialty Museums
Nestled in Jackson, the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum spans an impressive 39 acres, immersing visitors in the rich agricultural and forestry history of Mississippi. This engaging destination features a living-history farm and a charming recreation of a 1920s cotton economy town, complete with authentic businesses like a general store, schoolhouse, church, blacksmith shop, sugarcane mill, and cotton gin.
I came on a Saturday and there was next to no one here, which is surprising because this is an amazing spot! I learned so much about the history of growing crops and lumber in Mississippi and in general. There is so much that I don't know about when it comes to the production of food. The outside is setup like a farm on one side and a small 1800s town. All of it was amazing. I certainly plan on coming back for an event or to just visit.
Andrea F — Google review
Brought my eleven year old. He knows about much of this stuff, but it was a great reminder for both of us. Seeing the Gin was cool and the old houses. He was shocked by the school house. Quite little house on the prairie like. I wish it had an audio tour for the outside area and some artifacts inside didn’t have details for its use so you had to google or just wonder, lol. Overall, good for older children in my opinion.

Our Women's Ministry group rented a bldg for our seminar and luncheon. The place was very nice and clean. We had adequate space for vendors and attendee tables. Everything went smoothly. My only issue was the parking. It seems a walk - a -thon was going on, and even though we paid for a facility use, we had to fend for parking. Carrying set up items from across the bridge , back and forth, was a bit far for some of us senior women. I wish they would have allotted spaces close to bldg we rented for our use only. Other than that ....it was okay. We enjoyed our time, cleaned up after we finished, and packed up and made our trek back across the bridge.

It was very nice to go back in time to the 1800s-1900s. There was a lot of interesting stuff to look at. We sure did learn a lot and it was so much fun. The staff there was very friendly. There is a general store where you can purchase items and such if you need snacks and drinks you can find it there. This place is really nice to visit.

If you want a genuine picture of how life was before and at the turn of the century, THIS place will supply it. It's setup as a small town, with various businesses that would have been there around 1880+... It also does a nice job showing how the gin mill AND subsequent harvesting machine changed the landscape forever. It shows how better roads led to increasing business, and how trains and autos doomed horsedrawn vehicles. Very nice to see an accurate portrayal of how things used to be. Well laid out. 👍👍👍

Such a super cute place to bring your family and learn some history of the state. We had a great time adventuring around and exploring. I recommend going in the morning to give yourself plenty of time to read everything because it is very educational.

Our school traveled here as part of their yearly field trip..This was my first venture here with my daughter and her classmates.. I was very impressed on this facilities reach on history and past economics and even just how the past once was..some things seemed so simple yet some things seemed kind of barbaric..however the MS Agricultural Museum had very informative information on many many topics...Kudos guys..keep up the good work

Latin American restaurant
BABALU® - Jackson is a vibrant and modern restaurant offering inventive Southern-influenced tacos, tapas, and cocktails. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the friendly staff ensures a pleasant experience. The food receives high praise for its quality, with highlights such as excellent guacamole and tasty tacos. However, some patrons note that the portion sizes may be on the smaller side. The bar stands out for its wonderful drinks and attentive service.
You have to pick the right time to go to this place. You could be waiting for about 30-40 minutes, but it’s worth it. The table side avocado dip is so good I could eat it all day. The staff always make sure everything is great.
Sha C — Google review
Food was VERY good, the reason for 4 and not five starts is the serving. We order guacamole(which was excellent) but the apron of the guy who made it was … and a smile or a word could add to the taste 😀salmon was perfect, side of brushless sprouts was 2 sweet, no need to add sugar /sweater , grilled lettuce didn’t feel like the real thing… Shrimp and grits were yummy, price is decent, overall, stop here
Liat S — Google review
This place was absolutely amazing. Ordering the guacamole was an experience on its own. They make it fresh right in front of you and it is absolutely delicious. I would also recommend the Mexican street corn. Like heaven in your mouth. We ordered 4 tacos, all great, a kids burger, two margaritas and a sangria. Our bill was 74. Given the quality of the food this was a great price. Also super kid friendly. The place was loud so kids are not a problem. I loved the decor as well. If it wasn't so hot in the afternoon we would have eaten outside. So far this has been my favorite restaurant while visiting Jackson.

Hey All We found this place yes it’s been here for a min but it’s Awesome the meal was outstanding our waiter Scotty was on his game Great atmosphere the guacamole is outstanding made fresh right at your table. My roasted redfish was cooked to perfection the potatoes are awesome and the Jack Daniels peach drink oh yeah you need to get one overall five stars …..Update stopped at Babalu in Jackson and what a awesome meal and the guacamole was outstanding made fresh at your table .You have a great meal here
James H — Google review
Excellent environment / good vibes, good food, good music, good service. The menu is so unique and so tasty! Fresh, table side guacamole is a MUST! They can also omit some of the ingredients. Just ask! The queso is SO GOOD and unique. Get it! Chips are always fresh! My son loved his order / he got the wings. I always get the steak on a stick with potatoes and brocolini ans it’s always excellent. Going to rate it 5 stars for consistency! I do have one very helpful tip for management. Make sure wait staff seat people 6 feet apart during a pandemic. There was no one else in the room but they sat a family 4 inches from me which was awkward and uncomfortable and so unnecessary since all tables were vacant.
Jessica C — Google review
It's was great, we came mid day, and it was a nice crowd, however we were immediately seated. Every thing was fresh and the drinks were good. We ordered the freshly made guacamole and about 6 different tacos. We had a magnificent experience.
Gregory T — Google review
A fantastic place to eat on Fondren. Everything from the atmosphere to the food is great here. The hostess greets you with a friendly welcome and you are seated very quickly depending on the crowd level. The wait staff are very accommodating and quick on the wit. The choice of appetizers is good but most tell you that if you like guacamole you must order it here...they make it table side. The Baba burger is one of the best in the area but if you are in the mood for tacos, this is the place. They have a fully loaded bar so if it’s the liquid libations you’re looking for, they will suffice. Great place with excellent food.
Babagadoosh — Google review
Excellent fresh food. Based on food quality alone this would be a 5 star review. Every bite is packed full of flavor and seasoned delightfully. The flavors are rich and pleasant but not spicy. If you are a portion hog, you may not be happy. I show one picture of a taco next to my glasses. It is small but the chicken taco with cilantro lime aioli is one of the best tacos I have ever tasted. The queso dip for an appetizer is smashing. My husband ordered Salmon and it was WONDERFUL but portion sized smaller than a credit card. I found it amusing they announce to new guests that the portions are small before ordering. Since the seating & front service was a bit chaotic, I thought they announced the small portions because they were running out of food. However, our server Brian did a great job. Being seated was a bit chaotic and lengthy for the amount of employees that were running around. It would have made the atmosphere more pleasant if things were managed better. The inside dining is fairly comfortable but not as nice as the food would call for. The projection screen with old movies playing is a plus if you can see it. I can see why people waited much longer to be seated outside. The flowers were in full bloom and made it picturesque. Overall, this is a wonderful place to dine. The lack of a 5th star in the 4 star rating is because the bathrooms were unclean and in great need of repair. From the ceiling tiles to a stopped up 1 of 2 ladies toilets, the bathroom was old and made me wonder if the kitchen was in the same poor condition. By food quality alone, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has a palate for fine food.

Bully's Soul Food Restaurant is a down-to-earth eatery serving up generous portions of classic Southern comfort food. The unpretentious atmosphere and warm hospitality make you feel right at home. With over 35 years of experience, this iconic spot has gained recognition for its mouthwatering barbecue ribs and an array of soulful dishes like fried chicken, catfish, beef tips, collard greens, mac and cheese, and more.
Talking about a mouthgasm. Every bite had my eyes rolling and mouth watery🤤. Everyone that has ever been here before knows why it's a must visit if it's a person first time to Mississippi. LOVE IT HERE.

All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. Everything we had to eat here was delicious. We had ham hocks, beef tips, spicy collards, fried okra, potato salad, cornbread, yams, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. ALL were so good. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

This meal rates in the top ten I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten some wonderful food. I’d damn near make the drive from Hot Springs just to eat more of those greens that as my friend Andrea said, “were touched by God.” The turkey necks fell off the bone in the most delicious gravy. This stop was the highlight of our trip.

Delicious soul food! They got ham hocks, ox tails, pig feet, and necks! All the food was amazing, the ham hocks was fall off the bone. I thought a ham hocks would be rubbery. Parking lot is a bit small but I see locals eat here including government people. Must be good. One lady does it all!

I recently tried the peach cobbler from this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. This was my first time ordering from here, and based on the taste and appearance of the food, it will also be my last. The cobbler lacked flavor and looked unappetizing. My coworkers also ordered different items and shared similar dissatisfaction. Overall, I cannot recommend this place based on our experience.

Bully’s was once a staple in Jackson and even the state. I was a youngin when I first visited over 40 years ago when it was truly operated by the Bully Family. They offered short cook orders and hot meals that you couldn’t find locally. Presently the family is still courteous and polite however the quality has gone done. The Family lives affluently but the restaurant looks as if should be off downtown South Dr. and you see what happened to Sweetie Pies gone!! I ordered corn and it was dark brown and my entree was hours old. The restaurant could really use some professional cleaning and arranging. I looked up October 2025 MSDOH Inspection and they failed for cleanliness. Not surprising. You would’ve thought that they would have expanded after years operating or even a Vendor truck Operation popular in Jackson now or even a spot at the MS Fair. I understand the unfortunate deadly case years back but the Family is well respected and should give back to the community it serves. Sometimes all it takes is a small difference or a new addition of some sort. I hope for a better day to come. This place has huge potential just like the world class “Sweet Georgia Brown”in Dallas TX. But no comparison now, not even close for a Black owned family business. Good Luck family 🤞🤞

Absolutely was in love with the food. The beef tips and rice was soooo good!!!.

The food was ok, a little salty but descent I was upset with their prices. A 20 oz cup of tea was $5.50 an extra side was $4, They call dressing, sweet potatoes premium sides and they upcharge you .50 and they charge .99 if you dining in. So we sat by the bathroom the only clean table. Go figure. So a 12.99 plate of turkey wing and 3 sides 2 included if they REGULAR SIDES ended up costing me $27.99 my lunch partner had the same thing with an Arnold Palmer and his was $30. I guess they charge for the Arnold and Palmer 🤣🤣. Im sorry I won't be Bullied again. Pun intended.

Saltine Restaurant offers a modern take on Southern comfort food in a contemporary dining space. Whether you're looking for innovative seafood mains or craft cocktails, this establishment has something for everyone. The restaurant is known for its popular brunch options, such as the Banana Fosters Pancakes. With a business casual dress code, Saltine provides an upscale yet comfortable dining experience.
Every time I come to this restaurant, I never have a bad experience. Everything is always amazing!! The oysters are always fabulous and the sides are always masterfully done, too! Great pink lemonade and sweet tea (it's just right for me). This time I got the Oysters Lafitte and asparagus. The Oysters Lafitte is wonderful! They were unique, perfectly cooked, juicy, flavorful, and the vinaigrette complimented the Oysters very much, and the asparagus was great too! And afterwards I had one of my favorite desserts off the menu which is their Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake, and let me tell you it is OUTRAGEOUSLY GOOD!!! It is so rich, decadent, and the textures of the cinnamon roll and the cheesecake compliment each other so well. It tastes like it is wrapped in a satin cinnamon dress and beautifully adorned with a pecan crumble and caramel.🤤😍😋🤎 I've also had their key lime tart which is also fantastic💚🤍 The service is always so sweet and accommodating. And the ambiance is so cool and kind of vintage. The only thing is it can be a bit cold in there. But other than that, everything is awesome.💙

First time here and we weren't disappointed in any way. This is a great restaurant for quality regional Southern and Cajun dishes. The restaurant is located a few minutes north of I-20 and is convenient to I-55. If you're travelling on I-20 and on a schedule, it's worth the short detour. The restaurant itself is in a former school building built in the 1920s which lends some character to the experience. The Cajun seafood pasta was done perfectly - not overcooked which I've had at other restaurants with seafood pasta dishes. The left-over grilled brussel sprouts that came with my wife's dish were worth taking home but we weren't staying overnight unfortunately. They were also done perfectly. If you don't like brussel sprouts normally, you should give these a whirl.

The overall restaurant is so beautiful I love the way they decorated everything and the bar area is so nice. They had nice spaces for parties, delicious food, and the staff were so sweet. Everything we ate was sooooo good especially the pasta and we tore up those crab tips with that sauce 😛

Great po’boys, refreshing drinks AND THE BEST DESSERT: the banoffee. We were just passing thru town googling great places to eat and we were extremely pleased with Saltine Restaurant. You have to try it! We also learned that it’s in a hip neighborhood. So if you have time - go explore.

Eclectic Southern fun place. Our waiter Hayden was amazing, happy and helpful. Food was excellent. I had the blue plate special red rice and beans with andouille and brussel sprouts with sweet potatoes blackened and a cream sauce. Y friends had the PO boy one catfish and one shrimp. Love this place. What a find.
Patricia R — Google review
Just grabbed solo dinner at the bar. Tried the shrimp poboy and had OldBay fries. Rather good, had maple cinnamon roll cheesecake for dessert. Really good taste was but I think the cinnamon roll was really overcooked and just didn’t go with the rest of the texture of the plate.

Absolutely delicious! This place is amazing. The atmosphere is very unique and intriguing, but comfortable. It is inside an old converted elementary school. All of the food was amazing. I would especially recommend the spinach oysters! This area gets very busy on the weekends, but you can typically find parking somewhere…
James N — Google review
The atmosphere is really nice. The server didn’t seem too knowledgeable of the menu - suggesting salmon as opposed to local seafood. Also, the bar tender wasn’t familiar with gins when I asked if they had Hendricks and eventually served a martini with vodka. The grilled oysters were great. Do NOT order the crawfish bread. There were only 4 crawfish tails in total on this $16 appetizer. I felt totally ripped off. We ended up ordering more oysters because those were only things they seemed to do really well. I won’t return.

New American restaurant
Restaurant
Walker's Drive In is a delightful bistro that has been a beloved fixture in Jackson for over 70 years, nestled in the vibrant Fondren area. This stylish eatery boasts an inviting atmosphere with its charming black and white tiled floors and cozy booths adorned with art. While the name may suggest casual dining, Walker's offers an upscale experience featuring gourmet New American cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients.
This place was amazing. When I got there, it was still light out and it looked like a total dive from the outside. Once you walk through the door, it was magical. I sat at the food bar and watched the staff work. I had a flash fried softshell crab (to die for) with a garlic cream sauce; followed by two foie gras on a Butter soak crostini with a berry salty sauce (heavenly). Finished with a blueberry upside down corn cake with homemade vanilla bean ice cream. The bartender made me a delicious mock tail. Everyone was super friendly. I would return to Jackson, Mississippi just to eat at Walkers again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Walker’s Drive-In never disappoints! We hadn’t been in a while, but everything was better than ever. The service was excellent, and the food is hands-down some of the best in Jackson. We came on a Thursday and appreciated that they were open until 9—perfect timing for us. The place was clean, comfy, and had a great vibe. It was busy, so we had to park a couple of blocks away, but it was well worth it. We had the Wagyu, lobster skewers, and a glass of Josh Chardonnay—everything was incredible. The truffle fries and side potatoes were seasoned to perfection. Our waiter was fantastic—super attentive and rocking a great mustache! We even gave him a compliment on it. 😄 We love that Walker’s still holds onto its original charm. My husband and I will absolutely keep coming back… and we can’t wait to try more of the menu!

I had lunch around 11 on a Thursday at Walker’s Drive In. We walked in and were stated immediately. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is top notch. The food is top quality and priced great. The service was very quick but still allowed us to enjoy the food! Business did seem to pick up closer to 12, but service stayed on top. I will definitely be back for lunch! I can’t wait to try dinner!

Walker's Drive In is an absolute gem in the world of dining, and I can't sing its praises enough. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. First and foremost, the service at Walker's Drive In is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They made fantastic recommendations and went out of their way to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Now, let's talk about the food. Wow! Every bite was a revelation of flavor and creativity. The menu boasts a fantastic array of dishes, each prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail. I started with the Blue Crab Melt, and I was blown away by the delicate balance of flavors. The crab was sweet and succulent, and the perfectly toasted bread provided a satisfying crunch. For my main course, I couldn't resist the Wood-Grilled Filet. It was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a smoky char that added depth to every bite. The accompanying truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus were the ideal companions, elevating the dish to a level of culinary excellence that I'll remember for a long time. The dessert menu at Walker's Drive In is equally impressive. I indulged in the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie, and it was a symphony of decadence. Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor, it was the perfect conclusion to an extraordinary meal. The restaurant's atmosphere is also worth mentioning. It strikes a perfect balance between upscale and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a special occasion or a casual night out. The dim lighting and cozy decor create an inviting ambiance that enhances the overall dining experience. And let's not forget the bar! Walker's Drive In offers a fantastic selection of cocktails and an extensive wine list. I highly recommend exploring their cocktail menu, as the mixologists truly know their craft. In summary, Walker's Drive In is a culinary masterpiece that deserves every bit of its five-star reputation. Whether you're a food enthusiast looking for a memorable dining experience or simply in search of a great meal, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delectable creations. Kudos to the entire team at Walker's Drive In for consistently delivering excellence on every plate!

Everything was good, quality food. The burger was cooked to flavor. The crab cake was $28 but it was quality crab so I can see where it’s fit. Only thing, it’s a smaller space & they filled it to the max. So, just be aware it is a little crowed.

Excellent food and service. The red fish with lump crab was amazing! Wonderful flavors cooked right. The red snapper with mushrooms and capers was also a real treat. Alex was a pleasure to deal with and provided excellent, friendly service while answering questions and making suggestions. Then to top it all off we delighted in the Mississippi peach fried pie, dusted with cinnamon and sugar served with a vanilla bean ice cream and white chocolate sauce. It was absolute heaven. Crisp and clean flavor. Not overly sweet or oily tasting. Sheer perfection. You cannot go wrong dining at Walker’s Drive-In.

Pizza restaurant
Sal & Mookie's New York Pizza & Ice Cream Joint in Jackson offers a laid-back atmosphere with outdoor seating and an adult-only lounge. The restaurant has a rich history, having changed ownership several times since its opening six decades ago. It is known for serving authentic New York-style pizza and a variety of ice cream flavors. Sal & Mookie's has been recognized as the Best Restaurant for Families by Parents & Kids Magazine and has multiple locations in different areas.
A friend of mine is aware that I am currently trying to work my way through museums and points of interest in this area and suggested I try this pizza place. Let me tell you, I am sold. I got the half Gambino, half Brighton, but the kitchen made a mistake and I got a whole one of each. They even taste good reheated! The fruity pebbles milkshake was amazing. My server was Anna P, and she was just a delight. She needs a raise. She gave me some recommendations for things to do in the area. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area!

I would recommend this joint to anyone I drive three hours at least once a month just for the pizza, wings, and chicken Parm. We’re a family of six so everyone gets their own plate the atmosphere is very there!!! Even on the patio very cozy. The servers are very excellent!

Online order. Disappointed in the small amount of chicken in my dinner Alfredo but enjoyed the taste. Pizza and wings were good. Good quality ingredients.

This place is absolutely awesome. For starters I ordered the citrus margarita and it was delicious. Then the pizza that I had was unreal. No kidding when I say this was the best pizza I’ve ever had. On top of that the service was great, I took my son over to the viewing window where they were making the pizzas and one of the servers brought him over a plate with pizza dough so he could imitate making his own pizza. After the meal, we went over to the ice cream bar and we all got a scoop of ice cream, which was absolutely delicious as well. This place is welcome for all ages and has a very fun environment around it so the kids can go run around and have fun while waiting on the food.
Austin K — Google review
Their gluten free pizzas were delicious! The crust was very much like a traditional New York style, unlike most GF crusts that are thin and tasteless. The marinara sauce was perfectly seasoned and the toppings were generous. Service was fast and courteous and the only reason we didn't give five stars for Service was they served one of our drinks with an obviously visible foreign object in the cup.

When you check out the reviews and pray they're are truthful... you take a leap of faith.... it did not disappoint. The pizza was perfection and the service was great! So Good! Our server Candy was very good... anyways making sure we were happy! Thanks!

Came for a family get together on Sunday for lunch, we ordered 2 large pizzas, some pastas/sandwhiches. Food was great per usual, but was told we couldn’t have a pizza box for the pizzas to go as they were too expensive to give out. They supplied plastic containers that wouldn’t hold the slices without folding them up, and upon asking to just buy a pizza box given they are “expensive” they gave us one for free. Odd experience and disappointing when the table spent $150+ we haven’t spent enough for a $1.00 cardboard box? 3/5
Sydney D — Google review
My step son works here,...he suggested we try the pizza, and wings. I'm glad he did. The Pizza was reaaallly good, the crust was delicious and crunchy, the toppings were just right. The wings were cooked allll the way thru, thank you for that. Our server/waitress was busy but never missed us on refills, etc. Best sit down pizza we've had in many years. Thank you again, and we will stop in again when we come back to visit.

Barrelhouse is a modern pub that offers a fresh take on Southern cuisine. The menu features unique dishes like confit chicken wings, sushi burritos, and tuna poke nachos. The meatball menu offers various options, including beef meatballs with parmesan cream sauce. During the social hour from 4pm to 6pm, these dishes are available at a discounted price. The restaurant provides great customer service and a unique dining experience.
We had a fun small foodie meet tonight for First Thursday. Although it was busy during first Thursday, our food came out fast and hot! I ordered the beef meatballs with parmesan cream sauce, the meatballs were moist, well seasoned and loved that it was slightly fried on the outside. Now listen here, this dish is only $5 during 4pm to 6pm social hour! That's a steal! Try all of them! 🤣 The won ton tuna nachos were great, nachos wasn't oily at all and the seaweed salad was great on it. It was a pretty light dish for nachos. Duck fried wings were crispy, I wanted a tad more seasoning, but the fry on it was 👌. We all ready enjoyed our food. The service was amazing! Food came out quick, pretty nice place for food and drinks. Food: 4.7 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Yesterday was my first time at this restaurant and I don’t plan on coming back. We went for lunch but the food was nothing to brag about. The best thing was the beer battered onion rings. I had the fish and my friend ordered a chicken sandwich. She said her sandwich tasted like it was fried in fish grease. The worst thing was our waiter, Jordan. He took our orders, gave us the food, and then spent the rest of the time at the bar talking and laughing with the bartender and another gentleman. It wasn’t busy at all. At one point we were the only people in the restaurant. Three other people came in and were seated. Jordan was their waiter but never came back to their table so one guy went and got him so he could take their orders. Once my friend and I finished eating, I had to go to the door and interrupt Jordan’s conversation so he could print our checks.
Ariah M — Google review
Arrived just before closing, we were seated promptly and service was excellent. There was great live entertainment and the drinks were well made. I can't recall our gentlemen server's name but very personalable, familiar with menu items and offer insight on choices and accommodating to our preferences, he reads his customers well through brief conversations.

Good service. Ordered the Brisket Flatbread for an appetizer, it was delicious! Will definitely order again. I also ordered the fish and chips. The fries were okay, nothing amazing. But the fish was great, very well done along with their house tartar sauce. If you like Margaritas order their house margarita. Nice twist on a classic.
Sara M — Google review
Customer service is decent. Hostest forgot we was waiting outside to order our food. After about 15 minutes we decided to go back in. Finally a guy waiter told us to find us a seat. He then got our drink orders. The food took way to long to come out. The greens was sweet. I didn't care for them at all. The catfish was good but no dill pickles only sweet pickles disgusting. No onions and way to much salt on my cold French fries. My friend enjoyed his grilled chicken dinner with greens and blacked eye Peas. But it's definitely a no go back for me.

Nice restaurant with a unique menu and great customer service. Michael was wonderful, and he had great food and drink recommendations. The tator tots have a special seasoning like none other I've ever had, and the pimento cheese bits were great. I had a brownie type dessert that was the perfect ending to a great meal. The bloody mary had the perfect amount of spice and tons of goodies in it.

Came here on a Friday evening. It was quite busy. Some might find it difficult finding a parking spot near by. Open concept restaurant, casual interior decor. Seating is also available outside the restaurant. I tried the ahi tuna bowl, the tuna poke nachos, the smoked salmon small plate. The ahi tuna bowl consisted of black rice, ahi tuna approximately five pieces and vegetables with a glazed sauce. I asked for extra glaze because the dish was a quite bland. The smoked salmon small plate was not tasty. The smoked salmon was on top of a tiny pancake with capers and cream cheese. Not a good combination in my opinion and did not like the taste. The best tasting item was the tuna poke nachos. It was flavorful, portion size is actually good for two to three people. It was the same tuna that was in the ahi tuna bowl with cheese, seaweed and avacado. It was very delicious. The cookie skillet dessert was not good. It was just a crunchy cookie, overdone and thought it wouod have had more of a chewy consistency. Service was not that great, but could have been because it was quite busy. Would go back here for the nachos!!!
Nida K — Google review
We ordered through Waitr and had a very poor experience. My wife had a good experience at the restaurant a few weeks ago, so we decided to order. The burger was tasteless and was far from worth being $15. The few fries were already cold, soggy, and incredibly salty. On the other hand, the pimento cheese grits were also tasteless and neither of us wanted more than a bite or two of them. I have heard good things about Barrelhouse, but this might have ruined my opinion of them.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Jackson, the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum stands as a powerful testament to the state's pivotal role in the civil rights movement. Opened in 2017, this modern museum features eight interactive galleries that chronologically explore significant events from 1945 to 1975, highlighting Mississippi's unique struggles and triumphs during this transformative era.
If you’re looking for a moving and educational experience, I highly recommend visiting the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in Jackson, Mississippi. This powerful museum delves into the state's complex history of the civil rights movement, showcasing both the struggles and triumphs of those who fought for equality. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated and feature artifacts, photos, and interactive displays that bring the past to life. You’ll learn about the lives of ordinary people who played a crucial role in the movement, as well as the leaders who inspired them. One particularly impactful exhibit is the “Freedom Wall,” which features the names of over 4,000 individuals who were killed or injured during the civil rights struggle in Mississippi. It’s a stark reminder of the sacrifices made to achieve justice. The museum also offers a variety of educational programs and events, including lectures, film screenings, and workshops. These programs provide even more opportunities to deepen your understanding of the civil rights movement and its lasting impact. Overall, the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum is a powerful and thought-provoking experience that should not be missed. It’s a place where you can learn about history, honor those who fought for equality, and reflect on the progress that has been made. Here are some additional highlights: * The museum is located in the heart of downtown Jackson just passed the Old State Capital Museum and the Mississippi Department of Archives and History Museum near an in development park that will allow families to enjoy the mostly pleasant Mississippi weather. * The exhibits are well-maintained and informative. * The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about the museum’s mission. * The museum is a great place for history buffs, families, traveling  tourist and individuals of all ages. If you’re ever in Mississippi, I highly recommend taking the time to visit the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the best museum experiences I’ve ever had. It used a unique and attentive way to reveal this dark history, which made you feel like you were really experiencing the same thing with the oppressed people in the past and reminded you to remember it as well as prevent it from happening again. The staff were awesome. They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions. As a person who knows little about this history, I learned a lot from this museum and recognized the importance of pointing this history out despite how heavy and hurtful it was!
Rebecca Y — Google review
This was my second visit to this remarkable museum, and I must say, it has among my all-time favorites. The way the history is artfully depicted and showcased is nothing short of phenomenal, even as it confronts the tragic and often horrific realities it represents. Every exhibit draws you in, inviting deep reflection on the struggles and triumphs of the civil rights movement. I wholeheartedly recommend this powerful civil rights museum to everyone seeking to understand the importance of this pivotal moment in history.
Delilah S — Google review
Let’s start with 10/10. Made our way to this civil rights museum from Nola with everything going on in the world and it did not disappoint. I honestly think MS was worser during slavery than Louisiana. I loved the separate rooms to sit down and listen to the audio files of slavery. We hated to hear it but it was necessary. I’m most definitely returning and bringing the children. Whomever put this museum together did an amazing job and more advertisement should be done to get people to come and see it. It wasn’t enough of my people as customers in there for me! If we’re not careful, history will repeat itself! Don’t walk, run. Free parking on the street.
Ciara C — Google review
Surprisingly immersive. You could spend a whole day here if you were to read all the information being presented. Plan on dedicating a few hours. Sunday entry was free which included two museums and a temporary exhibit upstairs on Hurricane Katrina’s affect on Mississippi.
Patrick A — Google review
I go to most of the event that the museum put in and I’ve never been disappointed. This museum highlights all of MS history and it doesn’t hide who MS is. I must say tho as a person who has heard some of the stories from someone who was a child during these times, seeing it in a museum makes it surreal. Parts of the story is triggering but well worth the learning experience. It’s part of who we are as Mississippians and I’ll be proud to tell someone to put this on there places to visit if they are traveling through the area.

I visited the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum with my wife Mariluz, and it was an unforgettable experience. The exhibits on the civil rights movement are impactful and thoughtfully presented. On the second floor, the Hurricane Katrina display adds a powerful perspective on inequality and resilience. A place that educates, moves, and inspires.

This place was so beautiful yet so sad at the same time. They had so many stories, and details and real life scenarios where you could place yourself in the situation you truly cannot see everything in one day because it was so much to see we were there for at least 3 hours and the second part where is shows the growth of MS was so cool! Definitely worth the trip 🙌🏾

The Mississippi State Fairgrounds is a vibrant hub of activity in Jackson, offering an array of events and cultural experiences throughout the year. The highlight is undoubtedly the annual Mississippi State Fair, typically held in October, where visitors can indulge in thrilling rides, delicious food stalls featuring everything from turkey legs to deep-fried treats, and captivating shows. Spanning over 105 acres, the fairgrounds include notable venues like the Mississippi Coliseum and Trade Mart.
Stayed overnight, had 50 amp power, on our way to the next day, it was quiet and safe, a great find on our trip across the country.

I decided to visit the fair this year and it wasn’t so bad. Of course the prices are extremely high but it was very clean and seems they had new rides. I felt like it was a much better fair than I saw in 2020. As stated there were a variety of rides and they looked daily new and not old and dilapidated. I purchased a funnel cake for $10. I didn’t try any other food. Midnight Star was scheduled to perform at 7:30pm. I do like that they have free concerts. This also have antique cars in the MS State Fair Ag Expo. This is definitely a nice outing and it really looked nice once dark and the lights on rides lit up. I highly recommend attending this years MS state fair!!!

2024 MS STATE FAIR is OUTSTANDING! After attending for over 20+ years, then taking a break for a few years, I was so PLEASED with how it just gets better and better. Free Parking is a PLUS, great VARIETY - games, rides, local vendors are highlighted, free family carnival shows, antique cars, livestock, FOOD, FOOD + MORE FOOD (my personal favorite)... the Fair Staff and Security personnel are all over the place, helpful & friendly. The one drawback is that it's a bit pricey- BUT it's a once-a-year event like no other, so I recommend attending, splurge and enjoy!! Great for the entire family, as always. We went midday during the free admission time. For food we always love PENN'S chicken on a stick. I recommend bringing a stroller/wagon for younger children because there's a lot of walking, and some food vendors take CASH only. MS STATE FAIR: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love the fair. I hardly ever ride anymore, I mainly go to eat! Turkey legs, funnel cakes, chicken on a stick, caramel apples, deep fried EVERYTHING! The fair grounds were clean for the most part. It was easy to find certain exhibits and stands that I was looking for. The antique car exhibit was interesting and most importantly air conditioned so I could escape the heat briefly. I did see a show as well featuring trapeze and stunt performers. That was entertaining and thrilling as well. I walked around several times. Very walkable, much smaller than the state fair in NC. Everything was within reasonable walking distance. As usual, good times at the fair!

This was one of the vendors there. They have samples of some products. The wagyu beef salami is really good. (this salami would be really good in a gumbo, so I made some homemade gumbo from scratch with this salami and it gives you a very upscale tasting gumbo that you don't see from anyone)

So I think we could have had an absolute amazing meal here for sure, great potential for it, we arrived early and ordered drinks and appetizers which came out quick and delicious, we were waiting for others to join to order, when they arrived we ordered, then proceeded to wait a good 30-45 minutes for our food, we were enjoying good company so it wasn't terrible but a lil irritating, he came by once to tell us it would be out shortly, 20 minutes later after the other tables who ordered after got their meals ours came out, it looked delicious, but mine was barely warm and my husband's was cold, at that point it wasn't worth complaining, but he was super bummed since it tasted good but the cold really threw it off. Not sure if we will visit again, maybe but it wasn't really busy enough to get long waits and cold food.

Hal & Mal’s is Jackson Landmark! A go-to spot for lunch, dinner and drinks and a great brunch! This is the place to people-see and eat! Shrimp poboy as fine as anything New Orleans has to offer, along with the Gumbo. Excellent fresh cut fries. Just crisp, salty potato goodness. The brunch breakfast is satisfying! Eggs cooked to order, a tasty biscuit, bacon that is good enough for another order, home fries, a smoked sausage link and cheese grits. If you leave hungry it’s your own fault!! Full bar, great beer selection and soft drinks and tea. “Happening” music over the house speakers and frequently have live music and bands. Unique, neat atmosphere, friendly service and vittles that’ll keep you coming back!

I remember she had strands of sparkly material in her long blond ish brown hair and called people cute names which I’m a sucker for and she ran around that place like a whirling dirvish!!! I had the most delicious Southern Breakfast today! Started with Candied Bacon and then had the chicken on the catfish head biscuit with cheese grits and a side of sausage gravy. Needless to say, I left in a food coma! The design of the place is cool and the bathroom cracked me up!!!

I been coming here over 40 years and yes I understand there’s a rise in prices everywhere. But I initially stated while standing in there yesterday I’ll forever come no matter what the charge is because there’s no other facility that taste like this one. However, those sandwiches have went up to $2.40 that’s fine but don’t stand there and pack your friends or relatives pig ear sandwiches with 2/3 nice fat size ears and give me a grizzle. I saw this yesterday and I didn’t want to be confrontational but when I made it home I thought about it and I don’t appreciate it. If you’re going to raise the price make sure it’s worth it and I want my other part of my pig ear.

This is a dive in a good way. Ordered a pig ear slider it was creamy but not much flavor but is the local favorite. The chopped sausage slider was good & spicey. The joint is inexpensive & staff was very friendly.

I was in Vicksburg, MS and realized that Jackson wasn’t too far away. I had seen this place on TV years ago. I Googled “pig ear sandwich” and The Big Apple Inn came up. I had the Pig Ear Slider and it had a similar taste as the skin of your holiday ham. It was good and an experience that I will never forget, I’m glad I went to Jackson. I live 426 miles to the west in the DFW, TX area and next time I go I’ll have one of each of the sandwiches and a tamale too. (they sell those too)

This restaurant is a dump. It is dirty, and it has zero customer service. There were two middle-aged women listening to loud music and sitting on a stool. Neither one greeted us or any of the walk-in customers. Even though they dragged, we were able to get our order. I know it took a minute - not sure about the cook time because I waited in the car while my husband got the order. Word of advice: Please pray before consuming this food.

You might be confused and think this is a place to stay, but it's a place to eat lol. Just one of the wonderful things about Jackson. Big apple inn has history and flavors worth checking out. It's worth a try to get you something truly southern. Get you some sliders
Gashian C — Google review
Wonderful people are the first thing you’ll encounter when visiting Big Apple Inn. The exterior brings you back to the days of yesteryear as does the interior. The grill is busy and the crowd eager. Don’t be afraid to order the pig ear with your choice of heat (I went with hot). The idea of eating pig’s ear might be daunting for some but take the plunge as the reward is worth it. Fatty, meaty, dressed perfectly this is a small slider that will stick to your memory. Easily one of the best things I’ve eaten and it comes with a slice of history as Jackson doesn’t hide the past with glossy makeovers. I’ll be back again and again. Enjoy!
Dillon B — Google review
I was visiting Jackson for work and had seen this place on tv. I ordered the bologna, the smoked sausage, pig ear and the hot tamales. I liked the tamales. Maybe if the sliders were hot I would have liked them. The ppl were fine. The line is long so be prepared to wait. I don’t honk I’ll be back but you never know.

Fast food restaurant
Wendy's is a quick-service burger establishment that offers a variety of accompaniments like chili and baked potatoes. Many people choose to dine here for the sake of convenience, as well as the usually excellent service and food quality. However, on one occasion, a customer ordered a large portion of chili but was disappointed to find an abundance of beans smothered in sauce, with little to no trace of beef.
Vans was very friendly, and fast, she did a wonderful job on my nails, and didn't hurt me at all,I will be back to see her in 2 weeks

On two occasions I’ve pulled into the drive through expecting for them to be open as it’s advertised to close at 1AM. Once I came at 12:30 am, and yesterday I came at 11:45 and both times I sat at the speaker box for 10 minutes. When I pulled up to the window, no one inside acknowledged me. I eventually drove away and went to Whataburger. DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION AFTER 11:00PM!!! THEY WONT SERVE YOU!!!

Ms. Jocelyn on the cash register and the manager Ms. Cookie were amazing. I was all over the place with a confusing order that I kept on changing. They both helped me figure out the best deal for my group. Ms. Cookie even gave me $1 out of her pocket when I came up $0.89 short. These ladies and their team made me feel like family😊

When you spend over $10 for your meal...you'd expect to get it as you asked for...no onions...just pickles and cheese! Instead i got a Dave's double with ketchup Mustard, lettuce, tomato and dreams of the fries..all hard and crunchy! Take pride in the job you do !
Gary G — Google review
My burger was good and they were pretty fast, despite how busy they were. Only complaint was that we both asked for "No Onions" but when we got back to the office discovered that they still put onions on both burgers. So, check your orders before you head-out!
Daniel S — Google review
Would have given a zero if I could! We always have to ask for our food to be cooked fresh. They can’t get that one simple thing right. What I got was a dried up, over cooked double stack. The cheese wasn’t melted, so there is no way it was cooked fresh. This is every time we go to this location (1240 state Street), there is always a problem with the food being fresh. This is unacceptable! I will not return until there is new management and staff! SMH!

Restaurant
Johnny T's Bistro & Blues is a vibrant spot located in the historic Farish Street district of Jackson, Mississippi. Named after the legendary blues musician Johnny T, this bistro offers a fusion of classic Southern blues and Mississippi cuisine. The menu features signature dishes like salmon balls, shrimp toast, and the famous Johnny T's burger. Chef Brian Myrick and GM John Tierre curate an internationally inspired menu with a strong Southern influence using fresh seasonal ingredients.
My sorority sisters and I visited, and we absolutely, had the best time! The food and drinks were amazing! We each ordered something different and shared. I had the catfish basket and a drink called "The Rick James", Delish!! Highly recommend!!
Dtha G — Google review
A charming and family-oriented spot with a lively atmosphere. Although I had sweet potato fries and champagne as my meal (no luck for the V-Crew), the service, socializing, and people-watching were enough. Johnny T's is a blend of a sports bar & live entertainment (held upstairs in the Ultra Renaissance Room) offering Southerner food with a modern twist. Upstairs from Johnny T's is the sultry ultra renaissance room, one of downtown Jackson's premiere entertainment and rental venues. Johnny T's and Renaissance Room offer something different to local and foreign patrons and ensure you enjoy a memorable food and entertainment experience every time. I recommend Johnny T's to anyone living in or traveling to Jackson, MS.

Food is excellent. Great drinks. Chill vibe with good music. But come on… $30-$50 entrees and you give wrapped plastic ware? Tacky Tacky. And I get A.T. on a 20% tip for large tables, but for everyone including a single diner? I normally tip 20% or a little more for a good service sometimes a little less for bad service but I guess your clientele doesn’t tip so you have to do that?

The food was so good, I forgot to get a picture. I ordered the fried catfish and my husband the wings. Both dishes were hot and delicious 🤤. That catfish was the best I had in a while. My husband ordered the Rick James Daiquiri. It slapped. Our bartender was cool as a fan. We would be back next time we visit Jackson

WOW! We found this place late night. It's my pleasure to inform everyone around this area. The shrimp and grits and the catfish are both the best we have had ANYWHERE! The staff was amazing! Loved the music and the atmosphere. Will be back.

Cool little blues bar / Diner. I stopped in for their blue plate lunch and had the slow baked chicken with black eyed peas, collards, and an order of butter beans. The butter beans were awesome! And the Black Eyed Peas were pretty good the collards however had way too much salt for my taste. And I was disappointed that the baked chicken was smothered in gravy that wasn't mentioned on the menu and nobody told me about when I ordered because I do not eat gravy at all. Also the chicken, even after I rinsed all the gravy off of it, was also extremely salty like it had been marinated in some sort of a saltwater mixture. Probably a great place to come for drinks and a good place for food if you're not salt-sensitive like I am. The staff are certainly very friendly and helpful.

The Old Capitol Inn is a stylish boutique hotel in Jackson, MS, offering chic rooms and suites with complimentary breakfast. The rooftop provides stunning city views and hosts live music events with a vibrant atmosphere. This redbrick establishment from the 1950s exudes charm and offers great amenities such as convenient parking and excellent service. Guests praise the cozy and unique ambiance of this hotel, along with the helpful and friendly staff members who ensure a delightful stay.
This place is absolutely beautiful. It is hands down the best motel in Jackson. Everything is clean and extremely classy. The fountain is beautiful and the ball room is beyond words. The Old Capitol Inn seems like it's out of place in Jackson where everywhere else is filthy and run down. I would think they should be full 7 days a week!! Beautiful, excellent service, nice people and very classy. Would definitely recommend!!

The Old Capitol Inn is truly a hidden gem among the sea of corporate hotels in Jackson. The spacious rooms, many with balconies overlooking a beautiful courtyard and multiple water features, create a charming and relaxing atmosphere. Parking is safe and convenient, and the staff has been nothing short of outstanding. The complimentary breakfast is light-years ahead of the typical buffet offerings at chain hotels. This hotel feels alive, authentic, elegant yet warm and welcoming. A solid 10 out of 10 — I will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jackson.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and well decorated. The breakfast is much heartier than any other included hotel breakfast and the parking lot is gated so you don’t need to be concerned about your vehicle overnight. There’s a rooftop garden as well as a courtyard which is nice!!

Check in easy, friendly staff spacious room and breakfast selection was decent. Quite expensive for one night. There was a second attempted charge hours after making payment (lucky it didn’t go through as there wasn’t enough money in the account). Reception confirmed there would be only one charge and this is confirmed days after checkout. Perfect location for an overnight stay in Jackson or want to stay downtown.

Crechale's is a classic, family-owned restaurant in Jackson, Mississippi that has been serving the community since 1956. It is renowned for its prime beef steaks and a wide selection of fresh seafood. The menu features succulent filet mignon, stuffed shrimp, crispy fried onion rings, and broiled flounder. The restaurant offers generous portions and friendly service.
Always great meals. Bob the owner always greets everyone as if you have been friends for life. Our server Simone was fantastic. The food is always consistent and cooked.to perfection.

11 month update: Food has gone down hill. The yeast rolls were under cooked. I couldn’t bite into half of one it was so hardened with dough. The fried shrimp were not tasty. The garden salad was “old” lettuce. The “on the house” tart dessert was very bad. But the service was good, however we went there for the food, so not sure of going back…

We have eaten at Crechales since we were both young kids & enjoy taking our own girls now. Food is so delicious that we always leave way too full. I get the broiled scallops or stuffed shrimp because no other restaurant can come close to me on those. Their steak is prime beef so my husband always chooses it. Large portions & great, friendly service! We end up leaving with a bottle of the best comeback sauce too every time. Can’t recommend this nostalgic place enough, especially if it’s for a birthday!

This place is amazing! The whole staff is super friendly, they are funny, and the owner, Mr. Bob is one of the nicest people I’ve met in the jackson area. The stuffed shrimp is amazing! The onion rings are crispy and delicious, and their house sauce is the best comeback sauce I’ve had- and you can buy some to take home! Go have your next date night here. The retro cafe with a jukebox is like taking a step back in time.

Museums
The Mississippi Children's Museum offers an engaging and educational experience for kids with its interactive exhibits, activities, and programs focusing on arts, history, health, and science. Divided into six areas, the museum encourages curiosity and inspiration in children. The 'World at Work' gallery explores STEM concepts related to industry and careers while the 'Exploring Mississippi' exhibit features a giant map of the state for kids to learn about geography, history, and culture.
This was my first time touring this museum and I was VERY IMPRESSED. I was a mentor with American Heart Association; STEM Goes Red October 28, 2024: 100 Jackson Public Middle School girls for a fun, interactive and educational day. Companies like Nissan were there to share what they do as games. They have a large scrabble board in museum which exciting for me because I have loved the game since I was a child. Any child or adult 😃 would absolutely love it and I enjoyed it myself. The museum is very very educational and decor of each exhibit was excellent. I LOVE that they have an outdoor space (Enchanted Land of Story) for learning and sitting. I will definitely take my great nephews the next time they are in town. As you can see it is a wonderful place for an event! I highly recommend taking your child or any other child to visit this museum. A bonus is a very nice playground next to it!!! ❤️

The Museum is always a great place to go! Our tickets were less than $40, and the food was great! They have lockers that only take quarters, and each time you open your locker, it takes another quarter to lock it back. I love to see my children observe and learn as they play!

Excellent place to take your children or grandchildren. Lots of things for kids of all ages to do, learn, and explore. The outdoor activity park is the best I've ever seen and includes areas of shade for the adults to watch but relax. We live 2 hours away and the kids immediately asked when they can go again, despite the ride and being exhausted after all day of playing.

There was a new slide added from the last time when we went in the inside and big enough for adults to slide down as well ... very enjoyable and fun and I love that it wasn't as busy on a sun. Just wish they opened before 1 on sun.

Some of the displays were very dated. Not many people remember the PBS show "Between the Lion". The gift shop was nice. If I had not gotten a 50% discount for being a member of Children's museum in St. Louis, I would have found it to be a ripoff. The free playground next to it, was great! I give the playground 5 out of 5.

Broad Street Baking Company & Cafe is an industrial-style spot offering a wide variety of homemade breads, desserts, espresso, deli sandwiches, pasta, and pizza. The go-to dish here is the Southwest Turkey Wrap with its flavorful ingredients. The salad and sandwich shop creations are always tempting and reasonably priced. This was my first time and I understand why it is a Jackson staple. The food was fresh and the flavor combos were great! I had the avocado toast with arugula and pickled red onions with a drizzle of lemon. It was so tasty- especially when I added hot sauce. The sourdough was perfect! I added a London fog with it and on a cold day, it was perfection.

I’ve passed by this bakery for several years and finally decided to stop in and I’m so glad I did! I was absolutely blown away by the deliciousness. The wait was pretty long during lunch (over 30 minutes), but it was worth it. I ordered the Chicken Salad Pesto Sandwich, and it was loaded with flavor seriously, wow. My man got the Turkey Club shredded, and it was equally delicious. However, we were a little confused when we asked for cheddar cheese and got shredded cheese on the club sandwich. The fresh cut fries were another highlight perfectly cooked and seasoned. I loved them! I also grabbed a few pastries. Most were really good, although the cinnamon roll was a little doughy for my taste. That said, the flavor was still spot-on. Overall, I’m kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. Definitely a spot I’ll be visiting again!

BRAVO! certainly lived up to its excellent reputation during our recent visit. From the moment we walked in, my friend and I received a warm greeting and were seated promptly. Our server, Bailey, was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and happy to answer our questions. We started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. When my friend was hesitant about ordering the ravioli, Bailey proactively mentioned it was prepared with duck fat and graciously offered to replace the dish if it wasn't to her liking. This thoughtful service was much appreciated. Needless to say, the ravioli was a hit, and my Chicken Parmesan was equally fantastic. The portions were generous, leaving us with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. Overall, the combination of a welcoming atmosphere, outstanding food, and exceptional staff makes BRAVO! a place I would highly recommend.

Bravo is one of the best restaurants in the state! Consistent, quality food. Great service and they care about your experience every time!. For brunch, Great redfish and crabcakes! The redfish is grilled and served with a poached egg and creole hollandaise. Also, the omelettes are always fluffy, delicious and rightly seasoned. It is the best spinach and goat cheese salad around. With a warm balsamic vinaigrette. Good breads, amazing wood-fired pizzas. Great variety The herb crusted salmon with angel hair pasta is amazing. The filet is fantastic with potato pauve (check spelling). Really this tenderloin filet is as fine as any of the fine steakhouses in the area! Sides are good and fresh fruit is always an option. Great desserts. The tiramisu is out of sight. Great drinks. Lots of unique mixed cocktails, good wines, and a great happy hour. There is literally nothing to complain about this restaurant. Nothing.

Good food, well seasoned and not too salty. The duck ravioli was a very hefty portion with loads of duck meat. Although I know it's gamey, it was too gamey. Huge cheese and mushroom stuffed ravioli and deliciously decadent, rich, and heavy cream sauce. This dish is big and filling enough for two people or to take home leftovers, so don't be greedy and ear the whole dish in one sitting YIKES! My sister is vegan and had plenty to choose from. Actually, her meal looked so good. I should have gone that route! She had a salad and the vegan risotto. We enjoyed the mocktails and had her fave, the watermelon, something or other. Make sure the bartender adds enough of the watermelon puree, or it will be too tart. So we asked for some of the puree, and they happily obliged! Super nice and helpful wait staff, as it seems like they enjoy their jobs. Next time I'm in Jackson, MS, I will definitely go again as the menu was so varied with many choices.

Service was friendly and attentive. The food was great. Atmosphere was good. People were dressed from shirt and tie all the way to shorts and t-shirt. So be comfortable. They could stand to recushion the bench seats. They're not super comfortable anymore.

Service was unbelievably slow. It took us 15 minutes to get a glass of wine. 10 more minutes to get water. 40 more minutes to get an appetizer. We ordered dinner when we ordered our appetizer. After an hourit still had not arrived. After checking several times on the status, we finally asked them to chexk again and to bring us our check if was still not ready. We were then given our check for our wine and appetizer. I actually thought they may wave it as an apology....but no such offer. We cannot sit and wait two hours for our dinner to arrive. We like to support local but not with this level of poor service.

Very limited options. There was maybe like 10 in total and only 1 dessert which was noodles with peanuts. They also did not ask what I wanted to drink and just gave me a water bottle. Also, the chicken was raw and some of the food was cold. Overall, I would not go back as it's a below average restaurant. Also, spent $31.68 in total for 2.

Had a wonderful lunch experience at spice Avenue! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. What really stood out was the exceptional service by our waiter, Liston. He was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. He offered great menu suggestions and ensured everything was just right throughout the meal. Highly recommend this place, and a big thank you to Liston for making our lunch extra special!

If you're on the hunt for a vibrant dining experience, look no further than Fine & Dandy. This contemporary venue specializes in mouthwatering burgers and Southern-inspired snacks, all crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, making it an ideal spot to unwind with friends or family. During my visit, I opted for the chicken and waffles while my companion enjoyed a delicious mushroom burger—both dishes were cooked to perfection!
Fine and Dandy was a great experience. Some of the food is a bit higher price, but they make up for it in the quality and speed. I can not justify the price of their shakes, but it was good nonetheless. The Nobleman burger was wonderful and the fries had a nice crisp to them. Service was excellent. The price could bring them down to four stars, but I enjoyed them enough to give them five.

Excellent service. Excellent food. We went on a Friday night a d sat on the patio. They were socially distancing and the patient had plenty of heaters to keep it warm and toasty. I got the chicken a d waffles and my mom got the mushroom burger. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was Israel and he was amazing. He gave great recommendations for food and drinks and made us feel right at home! Be sure to ask for him when you go. The reviews on google were right, this place is a great restaurant!

Great atmosphere, good food. Great service. Would eat here again. Prices are a little steep, but overall a fun place. I loved the pretty china plates. Definitely would come to sit on the patio and have coffee and a shake. Got the pimento and cheese app-very good! I had the Farish Street Colada which I really liked. For my meal I tried the Fine and Dandy salad. It was pretty good, just a little plain in my opinion. I tried both the green goddess dressing and a truffle dressing on the side. I liked the truffle the best although the green goddess wasn’t bad. Husband got nobleman burger and liked it. The 80’s throwback shake was good, and James Beard Incident shake was legit delicious.

We had a great ‘date night’ at this restaurant. The food was delicious, service was courteous, and the menu was the best one I have ever read. We tried a new beer, and some wine though they specialize in far more complicated mixes. We tried the baked cheese appetizer .... yum! the chicken and wafflez (like no other!). And the dinner special which was a snapper plate. All dishes had very unique flavor and served on dandy china plates. We were pleased to spend our evening here. The atmosphere inside is hip and spaced close together. We chose to sit outside on the porch where there are outdoor couches with short tables which provide a quieter experience where private conversations could be had in any weather. These couches are also great for families with kids - Plenty of room for movement. If you like this review, tap the thumbs up.

I really enjoyed my first time here. We came for lunch today. Very swanky spot. We were seated very quickly. Dining area was clean, the service was awesome and the food was even better. We tried their Purist, Mushroom Swiss, and the Grandma Chik(pictured)... fries, tots, and chips respectively. We also tried their DELICIOUS MILKSHAKE(pictured). Cant remember the name-- but it involved white chocolate, pecans and caramel(YUM). I must add that the prices are GREAT. They also have a reeeealllly cute security guard(?), too... LOL!!! But seriously, I will definitely be returning!! Update: I returned... this time for dinner. And this experience was nothing like the first. First of all... the waitress looked at her watch and lied abt it being Happy Hour (M-F 3-6) and when I pulled up the website and asked her if the hours had changed-- she looked at her watch again and changed her tune. That really rubbed me the wrong way and set the tone for the rest of the evening. I won't go into details because I like the food here. Service? Not so much.

It was my first time coming to this restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is modern and classy with an open space concept. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Vegetarian friendly. Catered to my requests. I ordered the dad bod tater tots minus the bacon and the veggie burger. The food was fresh and warm which is always a bonus. The tator tots were absolutely delicious and it was loaded with cheese, white bbq sauce, chives and tomatoes. The tots were perfectly crispy and not soggy at all. The burger was definately different for a veggie burger and was quite delicious. Slightly sweet taste to it and the bum were perfect and buttery. Service was great. Would definately return to try other options off the menu. Definately a great spot for get togethers or solo dining.

Mediterranean restaurant
Aladdin Mediterranean Grill is a charming BYOB cafe with a taverna vibe and a patio, offering flavorful Mediterranean cuisine from Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Lebanon, and Greece. Since its opening in 2004 on Lakeland Drive, it has become a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. Situated near the University of Mississippi Medical Center and St. Dominic Hospital, it attracts health-conscious professionals as well as diners from Fondren and beyond.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aladdin Mediterranean Grill, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately impressed by the inviting atmosphere. The decor is beautifully done, with a charming fusion of traditional and modern Mediterranean elements that transports you straight to the Mediterranean coast. It's truly a feast for the senses and sets you in the right mood for a culinary adventure. The food was, in a word, exceptional. I ordered the Big Combo (4 pieces of shrimp, 2 pieces of lamb chops, and chicken kabab chunks), and the dishes were bursting with flavor. The lamb was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned just right, while the hummus was creamy and complemented by fresh pita bread. What impressed me even more was how quickly the food was brought to my table. Sometimes, quality and speed don't go hand in hand, but Aladdin Mediterranean Grill manages to deliver both. It's clear that they have mastered the art of efficient service without compromising on quality. Speaking of service, it was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that all my needs were met without being intrusive. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations, adding a personal touch that enhanced the overall dining experience. In summary, Aladdin Mediterranean Grill is a must-visit. With its delicious food, efficient service, and superb atmosphere, it’s a spot where you feel both welcomed and well taken care of. Whether you're in a hurry or looking to enjoy a leisurely meal, this restaurant accommodates both with grace and flair. A truly satisfying experience that I would highly recommend to anyone craving Mediterranean cuisine.

Welcoming environment, with comfortable seating. Ordered mint Lebanese unsweetened tea to start, delicious. We got lamb and tilapia plates that hit the spot! The pita bread wasn’t as fresh and fluffy as we would’ve loved but it didn’t take too much away from the meal. Our two desserts were good as well.

Food: fresh clean salads. Flavorful and fresh ingredients. Do not forget to ask for their Shata Sauce if you can handle heat. Service: Our server Brittney was very pleasant and amazing. She made us feel right at home. Even though most of the tables were full, the appetizers and entrees came out on time. Ambiance: This is not a fine dining restaurant. Yea, the place is a bit worn out but it’s clean.

We came through here on a week night during a cross country drive. We chose our seat and were able to order quickly. We ordered the falafels as an appetizer. They were definitely unique among falafels I've tried, but unfortunately not in the best way. The texture was of chopped bits, like the chickpeas maybe weren't cooked all the way before they were mashed, or that they were rough chopped rather than mashed? I'm not sure, but they weren't my favorite. I ordered the hummus and lamb plate and my husband ordered the chicken shawarma. They were good, filling plates, and they came with a side of both wheat and white pita. The hummus and lamb plate offered the perfect portion of meat for me. I do think the plates are priced a little steep for what they are, but it was a good experience.

Natural History Museums
Nestled within the scenic LeFleurs Bluff State Park, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science is a sprawling indoor and outdoor museum that offers an immersive experience in Jackson and south-central Mississippi's rich biodiversity. Established in 1933, this expansive center features permanent and rotating exhibits, including dinosaur fossils, a greenhouse known as 'The Swamp,' an aquarium with over 200 native aquatic species, and a gift shop.
What an exciting place! Admission is reasonable. There is a large parking lot. The day I went, was during a time period when they were doing an Easter egg hunt, and it was just too cute watching the kids going around counting. An outdoor trail of dinosaurs was lovely. I liked how they had plants and animals organized by region of the state. It was all well thought out and put together. I really enjoyed it.

Absolutely loved it! The exhibits were fun and engaging. My three year old son loved all of the live animals. Also, Mrs. Jennifer spent time in a classroom showing my son various snakes, turtles, salamanders, and more. The staff were super friendly. I hope the state continues to fund this wonderful museum.

Great museum that is fine for kiddos and adults! The seasonal exhibits are changed out frequently, which is awesome. The outdoor walking trail is nice, too! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Recently attended a birthday party at the museum and it was very well done by the staff and Mr. Corey that handles the animals is an absolute delight! You can tell that he loves his job and is happy to teach everyone about the various animals. We frequent this museum every few months and always enjoy it!
Lindsey T — Google review
Very enjoyable experience. All employees were very nice and all the facilities were clean and tidy. I knrw that there was a few areas that contained live snakes but what I did not realize was that there were areas in which the live snakes were out of the enclosure and on the floor, I did not see any signs of warning about that so someone like me who is terrified of snakes really need a cautionary sign to avoid those areas. However we did enjoy the hands on experience and the egg hunt made it a little extra fun for us.

Super cool! Lots to see inside, and fun nature trails with life sized dinos. decent priced gift shop, lots of exhibits. Kid friendly, and enjoyable for all ages. Coolest outdoor play park I believe I have ever been to. My kids didn't want to leave

We love the science museum! We appreciate they have a section that changes which gives us a reason to go more often. The kids always love exploring, seeing the animals, and the dinosaurs outside. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They are often walking around with an owl or a different animal giving its story. The kids gather around to listen! We always have a wonderful time!

This is a great place to learn about Nature. Our Grand kids loved watching the baby Aligators being fed and so did I. It was entertaining to watch them grab their fish and take off with it. They have several live snakes and a lot of fish in huge aquariums. They have taxidermy exhibits showing animals in their natural habitats along with many Dinosaur bones. They also have Dinosaur exhibits on the nature trail.
Kimberly W — Google review
Got there about 9am and there was no one. By 10 it was full. I was there on a Tuesday and unfortunately a group of middle schoolers came so it was chaotic. A little disappointing how catered it was to children considering there’s a children’s science museum literally next door but it was fun nonetheless, even the kid games! Very aquarium vibes, dinosaurs and birds. Learned a lot! I was there about 3 hours. Bring bug spray for the nature walk 😭

I worked at Buffalo Peak Outfitters about 15 years ago and I can say this place has truly changed. I know there has been a mass exodus of local shops and an influx of national brands (i.e. Lululemon, Kate Spade, Kendra Scott, etc.). I like the overall face lift the new owners have done and I've enjoyed multiple events held in the courtyard. I hate to see some of the local guys go, but I know it takes both updating and money to stay relevant when there are other newer developments in the metro area. It's great to be so close to Bravo, Beagle Bagel, Whole Foods, Char, Deep South Pops, etc.

Getting into this parking lot, with prepaid parking, was told "no parking available". Had to actually go around a business to get into parking lot. Then once we were in, it was insane and totally unorganized trying to get thousands of people through two lines. My first and last time, trying to visit again.

The whole vibe here was amazing. So many beautiful people all laughing smiling and enjoying themselves! I'm not sure they are used to handling this much traffic though. They need parking lot volunteers to park people front to back. They need gate attendees to utilize more stadium gates. Need more food vendors throughout the stadium. Keep the same energy though because that's what attracted us all the way from Atlanta GA. Team @supadopefresh was in the building! #8Robinsons #untamedcreativebeings #supadopefresh #themrobinsonboys

The Old Capitol Museum, located in Jackson, Mississippi, is a historic landmark that served as the state's capitol from 1839 to 1903. This Greek Revival-style building has been meticulously restored and now operates as a museum showcasing Mississippi's early history and pivotal legislative decisions. The museum offers free entry and features exhibits highlighting the state's journey from an independent territory to its role in significant events such as secession from the Union and civil rights era reforms.
I stopped in here since I was in the area, and I am so glad I did. Free admission, parking is free. This was quite amazing. The signs along the way were very informative and helpful. Though I would love to know if it was haunted. Probably not, old buildings are never haunted. I loved learning the history of the building of the government. I would recommend to anyone in the area.
Andrea F — Google review
Although I didn’t have the chance to explore the interior of the Old Capitol Museum, just walking around the exterior was a memorable experience in itself. The architecture is absolutely stunning — classic Greek Revival style with grand columns, a copper dome, and stately proportions that reflect the proud Dixieland character of the Old South. You can truly feel the weight of history standing in front of this building. As Mississippi’s former state capitol from 1839 to 1903, it has witnessed some of the state’s most defining moments. The Southern themes, pride, and historical context are woven into its very foundation. Even from the outside, the Old Capitol Museum offers a glimpse into Mississippi's rich and sometimes complex past. It's beautifully preserved, and the grounds are peaceful and inviting — perfect for taking in the grandeur of this iconic structure.

Excellent restored old Capitol. It was recently restored to what was original - after Hurricane Katrina flooded it. It's a self guided tour. You mostly see the architecture with a little information about the history and how the building was used.

It was the perfect anniversary date and we really enjoyed the beautiful ambiance while listening to the orchestra play. The workers were really nice and didn’t mind taking pictures of attendees when we entered the building.

What a fantastic historic place. Laws and important decisions and debates took place here.
Sun F — Google review
If you’re wanting something educational and low-key, this museum is excellent. My wife and I took the older kids, and they really responded to the interactive exhibits about how the government works, the history tied to the building, etc. The architecture is beautiful, and it gives a good mix of history without being overwhelming. It’s not huge, so you won’t spend all day, but that’s good with impatient kids. Free admission is nice. Only gave 4 stars because some parts are a little sparse and hours are limited, so you’ll want to plan ahead.

Super-fun very late night bar. The owner and bartenders are friendly and efficient. Plan your visit around the fine Blues music which starts around midnight and ends at 4:00 a.m. or so.

Great crowd, incredible blues music. This place has a great underdog story, trying to revitalize forgotten parts of Jackson. Got to meet the staff, management and the band because it is such an intimate space. Big outside area to hang out and a kitchen serving late night specials. Parking was easy and everyone there was very friendly. Highly recommended.

Steak house
Char Restaurant is a sophisticated steakhouse located in Jackson, offering a Southern twist on classic dishes. The restaurant features a spacious and inviting dining room with leather banquettes and warm woods, creating a clubby atmosphere. The menu boasts a wide range of delicious options, including the popular Wednesday daily specials like Meatloaf or Fried Chicken. Guests can also indulge in the Ginger Peanut Chicken Salad, which is piled high with fried chicken tenders and flavorful dressing.
One of the best dining experiences I've ever had! Flew in town for work and I always try to find a nice local, non-chain spot, saw the reviews so decided to try it and we were so impressed we came back a few days later with a larger group. Our server was so attentive and helpful we requested him personally for our return trip. Spoke with management on both visits (TJ and Zack were their names I think) and they were gracious and appreciative. From the classy atmosphere to the expertly made cocktails to the exquisite food and with dessert being the chef's kiss, this meal was not cheap and it was worth every penny! The fried green tomatoes are the TRUTH! If I am ever anywhere near Jackson again, I will be back! Note: Courtney is the absolute BEST server I've encountered... insist on being seated in his section!

Dress code! ( Modest to dressy attire) Food was absolutely magnificent. Our server, Faye, answered any questions we had thoroughly and with a smile! Highly recommend!

Honestly everything was on point. Photos won’t do justice because of the lighting but appetizers, salad, and steaks were great. Possibly the best filet and ribeye we’ve ever had.
Jason G — Google review
Okay, let's be real, I'm a sucker for Southern food. And Char? Char was my Southern food soulmate last week. I've been a few times now, and each visit just reaffirms my love. This isn't just "good" Southern food, it's inspired Southern food, the kind that makes you close your eyes and savor every bite. This time around, I started with their broccoli. I know, I know, broccoli and chicken breast? But trust me on this. They're not your grandma's mushy, boiled-to-death broccoli. These are tender, bright green, and seasoned with just the right touch of…something. I can't put my finger on it, but it's magical. Seriously, I could make a meal of just broccoli. But, of course, I didn't. Because mac and cheese was calling my name. And Char's mac and cheese? It's the stuff of dreams. Creamy, cheesy, but not so heavy that you feel like you've eaten a brick of cheese. It's the perfect balance. And then, the black-eyed peas. Earthy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. They’re a little bit smoky, a little bit savory, and a whole lot delicious. It's like a warm hug in a bowl. For my main course, I decided to go classic. I'm a sucker for a good burger, and Char's did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked (just like I like it), juicy, and piled high with fresh toppings. The patty was thick and flavorful, clearly high-quality beef. And the fries? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. It's a simple dish, but Char elevates it to something special. Even though I was stuffed, I couldn't leave without trying dessert. I have a serious weakness for cakes and pecan pie, and Char's version is absolutely divine. Rich, nutty, and perfectly sweet. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. They also had a tempting chocolate cake that I was eyeing, so I have a feeling another visit is in my near future. Char isn't the cheapest, let's be honest. But for me, it's worth every penny as a treat. The food is consistently excellent, the service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It's the kind of place you go for a special occasion, or when you just want to treat yourself to a truly delicious meal. If you're in Jackson and you love Southern food, Char is a must-try. Just make sure you save room for dessert!

The appetizer alone was amazing, not to mention the menu selection. Our second time there and just as impressed. Was able to have a formal meal within an hour of time, very well spent.

Tonight I had a unique experience, we ordered crabcakes, the sin city shrimp, and the oysters as apps. Shortly after recieving them, a heated altercation between two groups started right beside my table with my disabled grandmother being closest to the confrontation. It was a very tense situation, two grown men and a group of people threatening a fight. The hostess, a woman with long brown hair and a seafoam green shirt, stepped in between them, despite her size, despite the violence, she broke down the situation and asked if WE were okay. I don't know her name, all I could offer her were my kind words and some of my purse chocolates but if i had cash on me i would've definitely given her a considerable amount. She was incredible, so was our server, Eric. The staff handled the situation very professionally. The food was incredible, and the service was perfect. As a waitress, I have never witnessed a team with such a strong and professional staff. This restaurant, the servers, and kitchen staff are the epitome of bravery, professionalism, and skill. Thank you Char staff for everything you do for your customers experience.
Ruby L — Google review
This is my secret treat each time I come to Jackson, and the place I take each of my nieces and nephews to celebrate their major achievements. Even though the most recent experience was not as smooth as it had been in the past, there were three people who assured that, before we left, my niece and I were able to have the excellent experience that is expected at Char. QUAY’s natural attentiveness and devotion to excellence are truly treasured. KAITLYN’s bubbly personality and welcoming spirit are definite delights. And JIMMY’s supportive management style and passionate customer engagement are noticeably elevated and place CHAR in a category solely occupied by this team — superb, consistently‼️
Why W — Google review
Not quite worth what it costs. Service was outstanding, but they don't carry premium beer and they ran out of Ribeye steak before we arrived at 8pm on a Sunday night. As a result, I had a rather tough New York Strip that wasn't seasoned in the least. Not a good meal.

Sugar's Place is a delightful eatery that should be on every food lover's itinerary, whether you're in the mood for breakfast or lunch. Nestled downtown, this charming spot serves up hearty soul food with an inviting outdoor seating area. Renowned for its simple yet satisfying menu, Sugar's Place has won over the taste buds of culinary stars like Chef Carla Hall and local favorite Enrika Williams.
Just a little unassuming spot across the street from the Law School. Family owned and operated, the menu is southern and simple. The food is absolutely delicious. Baked chicken fell off the bone…. Tender breading was the best we’d ever had…. Green beans needed no seasoning and the okra would’ve made my great grandma say oooooh yum!

When the guy told me "you won't regret coming here" when I told him I've never been (from out of state) and handed me the food I wasn't sure he would be right but let me tell you he was! This food is so delicious and worth the drive. The food is made fresh to order, great customer service with friendly staff, great flavor wings and waffle, overall I'm heading back before I head home and getting some to go. It was a masterpiece of a meal with flavors, service, quality and atmosphere. 12/10 I'm going again! DJ is so friendly and made sure I came back i got the honey bun cake which was delicious and the home made "come back sauce" was amazing

Stopped in for breakfast on our way through Mississippi. The brunch / weekend menu had something for everyone. I went with the breakfast toaster sandwich. Perfectly cooked egg, perfectly cooked bacon, so tasty and filling. My slightly picky kids devoured waffles, bacon, eggs, and grits. The coffee was strong and generously portioned in a large to go cup. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Welcoming and hospitable staff. We can’t wait to come back!

My son and I stopped in for lunch. The catfish was the best I have had in a long time. Sides were excellent, Mac and cheese was so good. I would definitely stop back in. People working invited us to come back. All on all I hope to stop by again sometime.

Starting the day off right with a delicious breakfast at Sugar's Place Downtown Jackson! Their sausage, waffles, and hash browns are a perfect combination. This eatery truly excels for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, earning a well-deserved ten out of ten! But what really sets them apart is their exceptional service - the staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure you feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door. Highly recommended, come down and enjoy a meal with your family, before you head to work, or anytime you're in the area.

Restaurant
Keifer's Restaurant in Jackson, Mississippi is a local gem known for its Mediterranean specialties and Greek cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of options including wraps, sandwiches, salads, and burgers. Customers appreciate the quick service and made-to-go selections. The menu features delectable dishes such as bean and sesame hummus with hot sliced pita bread, lamb & beef gyro, and feta cheese plate.
First time visiting Keifer's, and I'd have to say it's really delicious! Enjoyed the fries the most, which was a surprise. Nice and crispy, and then the feta cheese sauce was delicious as well. Really enjoyed the classic gyro and it's very nice to eat your meal, inside or outside!
Elizabeth L — Google review
If I could give this a zero, I would. Ordered lunch for our department to have an order of 6 lunches delivered the following day. The order arrived timely; however, the order that was delivered consisted of 5 orders, not 6—called Keifers to report the missing order. I was told to pick it up or request a refund for the missing order. The delivery's purpose was that I could not pick it up. Thank goodness the order was not for a business meeting. Bad, Bad service, customer service, and phone etiquette. Shape up, Keifers, will order from Aladdin's next time.
Maria T — Google review
The gyro is good in taste, but slightly lacking in size. The cost is $8.99 w/o fries or a drink. The average gyro in my travels and experience is about $10.00 some with fries and some w/o. All though, have been larger than this.

No ketchup, only sweet tea and orange Fanta to drink, and horse playing in the kitchen!!! Just my style! Hey there’s nothing better than cold fries that only fill up half of the container!!! I would give 8 stars if I could!!!

If you want some good ole deep fried tires on bun this is your place to stop. The burgers were blacker than me and extra small for the price. Cashier was decent, from what I experienced. It is located in a perfect spot if you’re in the hospital, you won’t lose parking because it’s close enough to walk. Had I known it tasted like that I would’ve risked it all to find a better place to eat. Never again

I liked it here. Order was quick and fresh. Got the bbq burger with fried onion strings. The onions were extremely crispy (how I like them) and I got some with every bite. The workers were clean and courteous and mist importantly patient cause I don't go here often and not familiar with their menu. 10/10 will recommend. Not your typical fast food spot.
Nicholas W — Google review
What they add to the burger is more of an attraction than the burger. Great toppings, variety and customer service but the patty is a pass for me. It's a step up from fast food. If the ladies weren't so friendly this would be a totally different review. The cashier was very personable.

Had to go inside for the smoothie not able to get it from the drive thru but it was worth the inconvenience of waiting an extra 10 minutes. Other people were in front of us waiting for this delicious treat, thank God we had the time to spare. The fries were way too hot to eat right away , tasty burger, almost tasted like home. I liked the outside eating areas. Neat and clean place, good parking and price was a little above the rest because they were a little above the standard burger joint.

One of those stars is pure nostalgia and the fun I had with my grandson in the massage chairs. It’s a clean, attractive, well kept place. It wasn’t crowded on a Sunday. Some of the stores were closed. Actual shopping was a fail. One shoe store didn’t have my size and the other the greeter was so rude we just turned around and walked out. The lady at the boba tea place just left us standing there. For the two rude people we met, there were plenty of polite employees. Kids area was cute

This is a great live music venue! I was lucky enough to see the amazing blues master Mr Sipp here recently and it was one of the best live music performances I've witnessed first hand. I've been to other events here previously and it is always a nice atmosphere and great acoustics. Located at 655 Duling Ave in Jackson, MS, The Apothecary is a cocktail bar housed in the former storeroom of a pharmacy that has been in operation since 1946. Renowned for its impressive variety of drink options, this establishment serves up exceptional ice cream sundaes and hand-dipped milkshakes as well as homemade pie. The bartenders at The Apothecary are known for their efficiency and skill, seamlessly handling multiple orders and ensuring prompt service.
Came here while in town on business and thoroughly enjoyed my time. It’s literally set up in the back of a restaurant, so you feel like you’re going to a super secret place. The drinks were so good and the fries were just what I needed at that moment. Our bartender was really cool and helped me decide on a mixed drink. I liked the decor and the vibe. I thought the restaurant out front was cute too. It had a 50s vibe with its decor. The Apothecary is not a big space, but you felt like you were the only ones there while enjoying your drinks. It was a fun night and I’d go back.

Finding a bar through Google, we were surprised walking in. It looked nothing like the pictures, although the diner Brent's is really cool. Including the 50's and 60's music. Turned out we had to go completely to the back past the restrooms. The speakeasy vibe is great. And bartender Everest is amazing. Good drinks and a great host. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

First timer! Visiting some friends we went here. Great bartender, has some high end liquors, no Balvenie Scotch… I love Ramos Gin Fizz, this place fell short, tasted the same presentation was off. Had a monkey shoulder ATHOL BROSE, very good. Also tried some Weller Full Proof, also very good! I’m not a bourbon guy, more scotch in general. I’d go back.

It's a speakeasy so be aware that it may look closed from the outside but it's definitely open! This a cozy little spot with different drinks. I was minimally impressed with the atmosphere not so much with the drinks. They were ok but I'm not a heavy drinker. We ordered and picked up our drinks at the bar so we didnt get any service the bartender was cool. The drinks were very unique. I would definitely come back for the food next time. The first time I walked into Offbeat, I knew it wouldn’t be my last. Whether I’m stopping in for an album for the collection, an action figure for the shelf, or just going to sit and enjoy the magic of a chill day with friends, I know I won’t be disappointed at Offbeat.

Met the owner, Phillip, and thoroughly enjoyed the shop. We walked out with comics, manga, pins, and a great experience.

Wow! Awesome collection of records, comic books, buttons, clothing items, and toys to shop through! This is shop has something for everyone. The students enjoyed shopping as much as finding out about the young entrepreneur that owns Offbeat. This is a comicbook/record lover's dream to shop or sit and listen to music. We will definitely be back again.

The Medgar and Myrlie Evers Home National Monument is a preserved historical house museum that holds great significance as the former residence of civil rights icons Medgar and Myrlie Evers. Medgar, the first field secretary of the NAACP in Mississippi, and his wife were dedicated to promoting racial equality through various efforts such as school desegregation and investigating racially-motivated crimes. The monument pays tribute to their tireless fight for justice.
What a powerful experience. I am so glad this is part of the National Park Service. I loved to hear the explanation of what was done to protect civil rights leaders. I would recommend for anyone interested in learning about the past so it does not happen again.

This exhibit was very emotional. To walk through and actually touch the walls in which this family lived was amazing. From the beds on the floor, to the pebbled roof... Everything in their home had a purpose that made their lives safe. Average line needs to go to this museum. HUMBLING it was.

This was such a great experience for my family! It really meant a lot for my kiddos and me to see how Medgar Evers—such an important figure in the Black community—lived. As a homeschooling family, we turned it into a Black history lesson, and honestly, nothing compares to learning through real-life experiences like this.

It was amazing to get to see a part of history. I do wish the surrounding areas looked a little better. The house was closed so we just passed by the house very slowly taking pics.

Our visit was Saturday, Aug. 9th.. And we really enjoyed touring the Medgar and Myrlie Evers House. It was just so awesome of a feeling to be standing in the home were Medgar and his family once lived. The park rangers that were on duty were very nice and helpful too

Interesting and important history. All the old appliances were cool. The gardens were beautiful. The surrounding neighborhood not so much.

Well-preserved home maintained by the NPS. It was free to walk in and I didn't need a reservation. It is worth seeing while in Jackson.

Bakery
La Brioche LLC is a charming family-owned bakery and patisserie nestled within a larger building housing various eateries. The warm and inviting atmosphere offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot to indulge in their delectable homemade croissants, sweet treats, and delightful entremets. Visitors can savor a cup of coffee alongside their chosen delights.
Trying to eat better, and this place has been great for those times when I allow myself to get sweets. Everything is homemade. The gelato is great. The entremets are lovely and like a little present to yourself!😉 The tres leches dessert was not good-very dry. But the color changing spoon made up for it lol.

This is a nice little bakery/patisserie tucked away in a bigger building that holds other small eateries and cafes. It's not particularly hard to see from the road, but it helps to pay attention. The atmosphere is not loud or busy, and is actually very warm and is a nice place to sit down and treat yourself, with seating both inside and outside. The place has a display for house made cakes, macarons, and other confectionaries as well as a gift display ranging from what it seems to be original recipes of marshmallows, chocolates, chocolate bark and containers for a set amount of macarons, so you can choose which ones you want. You can also order the standard beverages that you would at a cafe and you can also have them cater for you or you can order a specific cake to be ordered for yourself or an event. These cakes can be found advertised on their website along with their catering information, but I am not aware of exactly what they do cater. Now, moving onto the food, the important part. I went there with two other friends of mine, as an outing for her birthday. Note, the later you come the less options you will have aside from the macarons. We chose three of their raspberry cheesecakes, one for the each of us and one of their Eve cakes to share. The proportions aren't big at all and are just the right size. The cheesecake consisted of a raspberry layer, the usual cheesecake layer with a graham bottom. The cake itself was very good, not overly sweet, the taste of raspberry is rather apparent but it doesn't overwhelm the taste of the cheesecake and the graham doesn't look to be your usual crust you would find at the supermarket. The cheesecake is also very aesthetically pleasing. Topped with mini white chocolate malt balls, a thin square or chocolate sitting on a small pipping of icing. These additions, in my opinion doesn't take away from the overall taste and look. Moving onto the Eve cake, I would say the size is perfect for one person. The cake itself is a mini two-layer dark cake (seems like velvet or a kind of chocolate) that is lightly iced with buttercream, and topped with lightly gold flaked fruit and a macaron of random flavor. Of course the presentation is very nice, and personally it's not too much for the cake itself, it's rather elegant. Now the taste, is just as good as well. The cake itself is moist and not dry and as a nice flavor too it. From what I can tell, there are small strawberry slices in between the layers or something fruit like. I can tell that the buttercream is genuine buttercream and is made at house, and has a nice vanilla flavor too, not bland or overpowering. The macaron, the flavor we tried was apple pie, was nice as well, not gummy, flat or uneven, very nice texture and shape considering making macarons is a hard and sensitive process. The selected fruit, a strawberry, raspberry and blueberry, is a nice refreshing finishing addition to wrap it up together. Price wise, I personally don't have any complaints, since I expected it to not be cheap but well priced all things considering. And the price we paid for the four cakes was around $22 or so, so take that as you will. Personally, as a college student with some type of funds coming in, I can say that I can go there ordering for myself and not be pressed for money, it all depends on what you buy. Overall, I certainly don't have any complaints, they even provide birthday candles if possible.

Mousse cake was delish😋took some home to my daughter and she loved them. The green mousse cake was matcha and the brown was chocolate caramel. We also got macarons too!! Though we had a hard time finding the place because it's inside of Cultivation Food Hall at The District at Eastover, but once we realized it was inside.. it was definitely worth the find❤

I usually take the icing off at other places, because it's either too sweet or not tasty. This place has some of the smoothest and litest icing I've ever tasted. I love the mini cakes and here's what's left of this delicious cheesecake.

I adore La Brioche. It's become such a comfort to me that I still return when visiting although I have moved out of state. The petits gâteaux, coffee, cookies, gelato, and sorbet are all outstanding. The owners and staff are competent, helpful, and kind. I miss it already each time I leave.

Great place with awesome service. They had the best macarons ever. Coffee was great. Everyone should visit this place once.

My mother, sister, and I frequent here often. The desserts are delicious and the macarons are crispy on outside and chewy in the middle. Made perfectly and delicious!

Good place to chill and get some sweets. They change location so they don't have much variety anymore. Macaroons are not dry like they have been sitting in the fridge for days so that's good. Nothing to special

Basil's is a delightful eatery that offers a variety of delicious options, including paninis, salads, and an array of side dishes. Nestled in a modern setting, this spot is perfect for those looking to enjoy hearty meals paired with refreshing beverages like beer and soda. The menu features vegetarian-friendly choices such as the veggie panini made with scrumptious focaccia bread, loaded with cheese, Roma tomatoes, olive salad, and pesto mayo.
Basil's is an excellent spot to get soups, salads and sandwiches. It is vegetarian friendly. I have not personally been to the location but I have had it for take out. I ordered the veggie panini which is made on delicious foccacia bread. Was filled with cheese, Roma tomatoes, olive salad and pesto mayo. I have also tried their cesar salad and tomato basil soup which is very tasty. Great cookies for those that have a sweet tooth. Recommend checking this place out.

Best pizza in the Jackson area. I’m a pizza snob, which is not something somebody would claim about themselves but I’m from NY and like my pizza a certain way. Basil’s does it for me. I’ve tried every slice of pizza available in Jackson, and Basil’s is by far the best. I have to hold myself back from going here a few times a week.
Mohsin S — Google review
Let me first say, the pizza was delicious, and is the ONLY reason why I'm not leaving just 1 stars... While sitting and waiting for our food to be prepared, there was a blonde haired woman making pizzas behind the counter loudly shouting orders to the other workers. Maybe she was the manager? But either way, that is NOT the way you speak to your employees... She especially had shouted at an elderly lady named Linda, who was working there, to get a step-stool. It was so loud that someone we were sitting next to actually asked us who was yelling so loud inside the restaurant. When our food was ready, we just got it to go and left the restaurant. The atmosphere was just awful and made us feel super uncomfortable for the workers there. Whoever she is, I'm hoping that she was just having a bad day. Because speaking like that around customers is flat-out uncalled for and unprofessional.

Solid pizza, good selection of menu items, great taste. It’s hard to find good toppings to breading ratio in the sense of quality. I think I just found it. I’d suggest this place if you want a really good personal pizza for a good price.
Aaron K — Google review
I’ve always gone to the basils in downtown Jackson, but I’d ordered on an app and this location was one of the restaurants available. I always get the grilled chicken pasta salad, and every time I get it from downtown it’s delicious. This location must not have been having a good day, because per the reviews they must usually have good food. The chicken wasn’t grilled, and you could tell it was processed and prepackaged, definitely not fresh. The downtown location always adds huge chunks of mozzarella to theirs, this one didn’t include any. And the bread that comes with it from downtown is always charred very nicely with lots of flavor. The bread with this one was barely toasted and looked like all they did was dab some oil on it. Kind of a disappointment. Will definitely be sticking with the downtown branch.

Steak house
Tico's Steakhouse has been a beloved dining destination in Ridgeland for nearly 30 years, offering mouthwatering steaks, delectable seafood dishes, and local favorites. The restaurant prides itself on its welcoming atmosphere and meticulous attention to detail, making it a top choice for those who appreciate exceptional food and drink.
Very demure and fast-paced! My steak was very well cooked and easy to cut. You can also order a whole bottle of wine with your food and also take it home! The waiter was very nice. You can tell that some people don’t care for a certain group of people.

I *highly* recommend coming here. The food was *phenomenal* I have honestly never had steak this delicious. The server was efficient and friendly. We will absolutely be coming back here.

Medium rare ribeye and Caesar salad are unmatched! Tico’s is our favorite place for date night! The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Potatoes Au Gratin were good but chunks of potato instead of slices (interesting surprise)
Jamie R — Google review
For my husband and I's anniversary, we wanted to try something new and treat ourselves to a special night. Tico’s was wonderful. The steak melted in our mouths like butter. The lobster tails were enormous. Our entire meal was not immaculate. We will definitely be back soon.

We visited Tico’s for my birthday with the whole family. My kids loved it so much, my oldest wanted to leave a review: “I thought the meal was really good. Miss Lady was the waitress and she was really good. I liked the fried cheese sticks. You should come here” 😊 (It really is an incredible place to eat! The hospitality is amazing, but the food is what makes it worth it. I highly recommend the lamb + the espresso martini!)

Bonus daughter and her husband had a birthday dinner for me at Tico's and it was awesome! The server was excellent as well as the food. The blackened snapper, steaks and large appetizer platter were delicious. Great atmosphere, timely service and cleanliness were top notch.

The staff was wonderful and fun to be around and the food was excellent. The lights were low and gave a romantic feel. Oh, and they had the best sweet tea!

I ordered a ribeye steak and it was rubbery and not charred. No seasoning at all, I had to add my own to everything. Also had the salmon and it was flavorless. Definitely wasn't worth the $200 tab.

Chicken restaurant
Chick-fil-A is a popular fast-food chain known for its high-quality chicken sandwiches, nuggets, salads, and sides. One location is situated inside another building on the bottom floor, possibly connected to a nearby hotel. Parking options are limited as there's no regular restaurant parking available. The food and service are commendable, although restroom access requires requesting a key. Another Chick-fil-A restaurant near Capitol street offers easily accessible and delicious food with quick table delivery.
Went in because it's quicker than the drive through! Ordered a salad to go in and out quick!! The staff was attentive and professional.

1st time ordering Chicken Strips....strips were not cooked completely. I can actually see the raw chicken between bites. Please cook properly to avoid food poisoning and lawsuits.
A.V. J — Google review
This has always been a great Chick-fil-A restaurant to go to. It is located near my work and very easily accessible from Capitol street. On some days it can be a little busy, but usually when the government is in session. The food has always been very good here and is delivered to your table really fast. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This location does not open for breakfast, so that’s a negative but not enough to lower my rating. Great place to eat.
Babagadoosh — Google review
Standard high quality Chick-fil-A food A couple of notes. This location is inside another building on the bottom floor. It looks like it may be connected across the street to the hotel the Marriott. There is no regular restaurant parking. You either have to park on the street or pay for parking nearby. The food was good and the service was very good. One small note is that if you plan on using the restroom you need to ask for a key. It's not easily accessible. You have to go to the security desk of the building But location is probably very convenient for visitors to the capital area
Jim E — Google review
Breakfast items sucks! Chicken not cooked completely and breakfast bowl had 5 hash browns and 3x 2inch pieces of bacon.
K W — Google review
Delicious choices for a healthy lunch. This location has very limited hours, to accommodate the businesses downtown, so it's mostly about breakfast and lunch. They were pretty busy today but we were able to order pretty quickly and they brought the food out in a reasonable time. I am very restrictive on how many carbs I can have, so their chicken tenders with a salad makes a great option for me.
Daniel S — Google review
They never got right after the pandemic! I paid $30 for 2 meals on Doordash this what they sent and were missing a sandwich!! SMH when I drive by the store and look thru the window it looks like a storage room inside! 😔
