The Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course is a dirt thoroughbred racing track spanning one mile, featuring both eateries and a casino complete with video lottery terminals. It offers family-friendly entertainment and helpful staff for those unfamiliar with horse racing. The races themselves last between 20-30 minutes each. Visitors frequently enjoy winning money at this venue, making it a popular destination while in their hometown. Additionally, the casino has awarded multiple jackpots to lucky players.
It’s hard to give a place 5 stars after you’ve lost money, but I’m going to anyway! The place is so well maintained. It’s so clean! People are constantly cleaning and they are attentive and kind. It’s just a well-oiled machine. There’s plenty of room but it’s not so big that you feel lost. It’s cozy and welcoming. Enjoyed every minute of it.

You won't leave here rich or maybe even a big winner, but if you manage well, you can spend a few hours here playing the slots. Unfortunately, there are no dealer tables. Some other drawbacks: Not enough bill change or ticket exchange kiosks, or they were not all in service, which led to long lines to exchange your winning voucher for cash. While the food court food choices were good, the wait to get your food was long, especially when the casino was busy. A plus is no smoking is allowed inside the casino, which makes for a better gaming experience.
Deanna M — Google review
We were actually impressed with this little casino. Yes it's small. Great selection of slots. I would've liked to see more restaurants or perhaps a better selection of them anyway. Also more servers are needed out working the floor.
Elizabeth T — Google review
Great casino. We had lots of fun and didn't lose a bunch of money.
Adam B — Google review
This is suppose to be owned BY PENNPLAY!!?? The Games are tight and on the expensive side.! The "security" at the doors are not welcoming at all . However, One night ( my 3rd visit, turned $200 into over $10,000! My phone died, so couldn't take all the pictures. I am preferred from another state and took a year away from all Penn Play locations, then this happened.
Amanda T — Google review
Fun time in a great atmosphere, Hollywood Gaming has my vote above most places in this area for sure!!!!
Crockett E — Google review
Drive in from pgh mostly because the casino is no smoking. Good variety of machines. Free play and food comp is decent. Like the beverage machines and free water bottles. However the machines are junk they are rigged and very tight. I'm losing too much not worth the drive anymore. I hear all these jackpots....hard to believe.
Vera H — Google review
The Casino was nice. I am not a smoker so I was happy the smoking section had its own hallway entrance. However, It wasn't that clean ashes everywhere.. The Main floor and food court was beautiful and well maintained. We did not see regular hand pays often.. I feel they machines were tight. We went 4 times in 3 days..

Restaurant
Westside Bowl is not your typical bowling alley. It offers two stages for live music, a full kitchen, and a bustling dance floor. Established in 2018, it provides a platform for local, regional, and national acts to showcase their talent. Visitors can enjoy delicious food while watching live performances or bowling as many frames as they desire. The venue also welcomes private events without charging rental fees. With its unique aesthetic and welcoming atmosphere, Westside Bowl has become a special place in Youngstown.
THE best venue to catch local, regional, and national bands between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Two great stages, phenomenal sound, and you can bowl while you take in a show, if that’s your thing. I don’t usually go hungry, but the food I’ve had here is solid. The bar has a great rotation of local beers on tap that will suit any taste. In addition to a great music, they support other local businesses and artisans. It’s a great place for groups to meet, and private events. Never a bad experience.
Dave L — Google review
This place absolutely rips. Great sounding and shows, two stages (upstairs and downstairs). Solid pizza and sandwich bar food, rotating tap selection, super friendly staff. My first time here was because my band played here and we loved it! The bowling here is manually scored on paper, so no screens, in case you were planning to play.
Adam R — Google review
I've seen some Excellent bands there ...Large assortment of beers & tasty snacks to choose from in a laid back...very friendly atmosphere
Kim S — Google review
Awesome venue to watch a band. Just saw Red Wanting Blue there and it wasn't terribly loud. I was able to enjoy the band without going deaf.
Renay C — Google review
We love going to this bowling alley. They always have different bands playing and you can watch them perform while you bowl. It's a great atmosphere and they always make you feel welcome. They also have a bar and restaurant inside. The best wings and pickle pizza around. They also have a record store onsite. This is a must visit when you are in the area.
Jason C — Google review
I went here to see a show a while ago and it was one of the most unique venues I've ever been to. The art/decor was everywhere and all of it awesome. Really well put together aesthetic. It was SUPER crowded and a bit overwhelming at times because of that but overall a really cool place if you're not pressed about being in tight crowds. :)
Brittany — Google review
I absolutely adore coming here! There is always something going on. The food is fantastic as well as the staff is so nice. The owners are wonderful people that have went out of their way to make this bowling alley/bar/music venue something that is welcoming to all people that come in. This place is something special to Youngstown. I love the aesthetic of the building as well as all the hard work that has went into making this place unique. I will say that leaving the bathroom door open to the men's room was odd, because while I was eating I was looking at the security dudes feet while he was pooping. It's hard to not see right into the bathroom and I think for privacy reasons the doors should be shut.
Ghoul H — Google review
Really liked this place! We stopped by to play pinball while in the area, after noticing amount of machines they have on the pinball map app. It did not disappoint, all the machines were in great shape with many of them modded with color screens etc. The music was killer. We did not bowl, but the lanes looked nice

We came for pup night this time. Great venue for hockey. We had also been there for military night & they honored veterans (myself included)

i’m so disgusted by the state of this venue. DO NOT GET ANY GA STANDING/PIT tickets here!!!! There is NO ventilation or air at all to the standing area and tickets must’ve been oversold because there was basically a crowd crush incident at ice nine kills . FOUR people in JUST the group around us had passed out, as well as my boyfriend who was rushed in an ambulance to the ER with a dangerously low blood sugar and extremely high temperature. Not to mention, none of the security helped. Me and other fans had to carry him to the medics. Getting a refund for my tickets, BE CAREFUL!!! Medics were amazing though.
JAilbr3k711 — Google review
Cool venue, parking is a bit of a rip off, typical over priced concessions, great sound, easy access to floor
Justin T — Google review
Easy to find venue! Went to see the impractical jokers on their tour! Staff was lovely and helpful! Popcorn was tasty! Clean bathrooms! A wonderful experience! I’d also like to note: the people in the row in front of us were giving security a difficult time in not wanting to be in the correct seating and taking someone else’s seat… but the security and staff did a wonderful job in remaining calm and professional and working to a solution to where things were how they were supposed to! The staff impressed me— normally event staff is grouchy and looks annoyed, but these were happy, friendly, and seemed to enjoy their jobs

Huge thanks to the hardworking staff at this convention center! They’ve done an amazing job hosting the OAC JH State Wrestling tournament year after year. Top-notch dedication!
Brandon J — Google review
The Covelli Music Center itself is an awesome venue—easy to get around, great atmosphere, and perfect for a night of live music. The show lineup was a mixed bag, though. The Funeral Portrait completely won us over live (new favorite for sure), and Kim Dracula delivered what was hands down one of the best sets I’ve seen all year—even compared to festival performances. Dayseeker, on the other hand, didn’t quite hit the mark for us, and Ice Nine Kills closed the night on a flatter note. We ended up leaving early since the energy wasn’t as engaging or inclusive as the earlier bands. Spencer’s decision not to interact with the crowd was fine in itself, but in an arena setting, a little more appreciation for the moment would have gone a long way. Venue experience? Solid 10/10. Concert as a whole? More of a 6/10—saved by two phenomenal openers.

One of the best things about Youngstown, OH. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. We have always had a great experience, whether it's a hockey game with the Youngstown Phantoms or a concert. I've been here in the past for a trade show and conference as well. It is an overall awesome facility.

Bought seats in Row A Section 222, unfortunately there is not a Row A, so had to deal with horrible customer service. They added folding chairs to a Row that shouldn't be there, dealt with GA fans obstructing what would be a great view. Never again

Casa di Canzonetta offers an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance welcomes you with amazing aromas, and the servers are delightful and knowledgeable. The menu features a variety of delectable dishes such as ricotta board, wood fire shrimp, salmon, ravioli, and pasta aglio olio de pepe. The cocktails are creative and delicious, while the desserts like tiramisu and cannoli are perfect for celebrating special occasions.
We had dinner here after arriving at the hotel. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our meal, atmosphere and the location. (Not your typical hotel adjacent restaurant.) Loved the beet salad and the bread with olive oil was awesome. Our pasta tasted very fresh and unique. We also ate breakfast here before leaving and again, the food and service was great.

This place was absolutely incredible, the best restaurant I have ever been to, the pizza was amazing, they said the dough is from rome, the chicken parmesan and chicken Alfredo were literally perfect, and the espresso chocolate butter cake was fantastic, the waitress ( Carrie ) walked us through the entire menu, took excellent care of is! Just a unforgettable experience!

Had the chance to stop at this restaurant a few times during a business trip in the area. One of the best Italian places that I have been to. The Chicken Marsala was delicious and so were Papacitos peppers. I’ll be visiting again to try other entrees that looked good on the menu. The atmosphere was great, would make somewhere great for a date night. The service was phenomenal. Each staff member greeted me with a smile and politeness. They wanted to be there. Suggestion: Put Chicken Piccata on your Menu, I feel like you’d do great with this dish.

While on a business trip, I had the opportunity to dine here 3 times. On the three times I had wonderful service by Francesca, then Kimberly and finally Sarah. With Francesca, she curated for me a meal of the Pollo Parmigiana with broccolini, approximate wine, and for desert vanilla bean lemon cello. With Kimberly and Sarah, I had the same dish twice, chicken scarpariello with broccolini and the appropriate wine. My first visit there with Francesca brought me back. She set the bar for service, a wonderful attitude, and an infectious smile that makes you forget about the most difficult of days. I told her the recommendation I had received from the hotel staff, what I desired, and she took over from there with veggie and wine recommendations. It was a little slower night, so she had the opportunity to check in more often and offered great conversation. She made a lasting impression, and I looked forward to going back. I told herbit was my first time meeting a Francesca, a name I remember from the book, "The Bridges of Madison Count". Kimberly and Sarah provided warm service as well. What is nice, I noticed, unlike many other establishments with regulars, there seemed to be a deeper bond with its patrons, which I liked, almost like family. Great atmosphere and environment to hang out in. I will be back.

I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant since they opened so wanted to give them a try for my birthday. I emailed on 3/1 to reserve their outdoor igloo for a small birthday celebration on 3/25 and didn’t receive a response - I figured they were already booked so didn’t follow up. We decided to get a reservation for dinner for hubby and myself. I had to give a credit card deposit of $40 to hold the reservation. I don’t know if that was just a card hold or was subtracted from the bill (I didn’t check). We were greeted warmly when we arrived by two hostesses. We were seated at a table near the bar in view of the igloo outside - which sat empty all night (it’s really cute and such a cool idea). This made me think maybe my email went to spam or I misspelled the email addresses. The service was good and our waitress was attentive and friendly - slow week night for them so we got a lot of attention. The menus were comically large and thankfully we had a table for four and could easily stow the menus in the spare space for two next to us. I started with a Hendrick’s martini, which was made well and we ordered two appetizers (focaccia and arancini). The focaccia was not quite what we expected - it was a very large, tall and thick loaf of bread. It was very good with the oil and peppers it came with. It had a really nice rosemary aroma. The arancini was good. Nice size and came with sauce. They had a bottle of Dom Perignon on the menu for $250 and we tried to order one - thought it was a good price and would be a nice treat for my birthday. Unfortunately, they were sold out although there was a bottle on display near where we were seated. They didn’t really have a good backup option to the Dom other than a $595 bottle of Louis Roederer, which I felt was a tad more than I wanted to pay. We settled on a much cheaper bottle of Veuve. I would have liked something a little nicer for my birthday but it was OK. They had a robust wine list. I ordered the pappardelle alla bolognese and hubby ordered cacio e pepe. We both got soups - wedding and the Italian onion. Everything came out lightning fast. Both soups were incredibly salty. The wedding soup was not what I know as wedding soup. Full disclosure, my mom is 100% Italian and makes the absolute best wedding soup based on our family’s recipe so I may be biased. This soup had a slightly sour taste, two very large undercooked meatballs (I needed to cut them to eat them) and two large bread croutons. Even the veggies were large cuts. I actually spilled some of the soup trying to cut the pieces into more bite sized pieces using my spoon. My pappardelle alla bolognese (which is my all time favorite meal) was inedible. The pasta was gluey and soggy. The bolognese was not what I know as traditional, which is usually slow cooked and finely minced (which takes a lot of work and time) into an oatmeal-like consistency ragu. This had large clumps of grayish- colored meat that tasted somewhat gamey and unseasoned - not at all like the layered flavors of soffritto (onions, celery and carrot), wine, broth, passata and small amounts of fatty pork that make this dish amazing. Hubby’s pasta was a little better - his was cooked al dente but way too salty for my liking and barely any pepper. He liked it though! Portion sizes were huge. We ordered tiramisu and espresso for dessert. The tiramisu came layered inside one of their drinking glasses. It was just OK. The espresso was fantastic. Atmosphere and decor was interesting and felt laid back - lots of prints of 1980s boxer Boom Boom Mancini where we sat and some car cutouts off in the distance. Checkered napkins as a throw back to Italian red sauce joints was a cute touch. Not sure if this is meant to be an upscale restaurant or more of a chill, sports bar style spot. They seem to be intentionally combining the two. If we had stopped at drinks and appetizers this review would be 5 stars. The bread was the real highlight of the meal. We might be back on a Tuesday again to try the Chicago beef sandwiches. Total bill $246.97 plus $50 tip.
Brenda C — Google review
Food was decent, atmosphere was loud & unrefined. We were seated where the sun was beating in & blinding us & although most seating was open upon arrival they couldn’t accommodate moving us to a less sun baked table for some reason. Waitress was very nice, professional and efficient. Food was decent. Veggies were burned, salad was wet. Martini was very good as was the steak. $4 charge for using our credit card for final bill. We dined a total of one hour and ten minutes and were asked to give up our table immediately after paying the bill because they were so slammed busy and people were waiting outside to dine. I’d made reservations for my table and felt incredibly rushed to leave after dropping $150 on dinner, plus I found it profoundly odd and unprofessional to ask a diner to move things along when they weren’t loitering. On an additional note, we’d stopped in last summer impromptu at 4:30pm and we were told they were closed, yet people were sitting at the bar. Another waitress approached us while leaving and said she’d be happy to seat us. So which is it, you’re closed or the other lady didn’t care to be bothered? Then this visit we got hurried along…… I’m feeling a failed management vibe!! Likely won’t be returning.

Arby's is a popular fast-food chain that is famous for its roast beef and offers a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, fries, and shakes. On 5/31/23 at 6:25 PM, an order was placed with specific instructions. The staff member at the drive-thru provided exceptional customer service by reading back the order accurately. Despite the large order, the food was delivered quickly and correctly. The team at this location deserves praise for their excellent work.
The people here are always polite, professional and friendly. Brisket sandwich is really quite good and so are the burgers. This location still has Potato Cakes which were a favorite of my Grandma and Grandpa since forever. They always make them perfectly. Gyro and roast beef are good when in the mood. Strawberry shake is OUTSTANDING !

I see the sign on the door to call this number if you can't go through the drive thru. I can't because I walked there so I was about to call but before I did a lady walked out and took my order! Wow! What great customer service! I was so excited I was going to give it 5 stars until I got back to my truck and they got the order wrong. I'm disappointed but wasn't going to walk all the way back there so I just ate what was given to me.

Excellent service, no issues with my order. Such a nice Arby's. Clean, fast lines, good food. Coffee is second to none.

Roast beef is artificial meat made with color and more other ingredients than beef. It doesn't taste beef, either. Is roast beef the same every Arby'sor just here. I seldom come to Arby's, not that I expected.

Great service at this Arby's. The woman at the drive-thru was very friendly. My son (4) had his window down in the back and the woman was extremely nice and engaging with him. When the food came she asked us to pull forward some so she could hand him his kid meal directly to him and he absolutely loved that! Great service from her! The fries were warm, the chicken nuggets were delicious from there, and the gyros were pretty good. I think the gyros could have used more vegetables. But all around it was pretty good.

First time trying this place… been in Ohio for 3 years and just never had time to stop and get a good breakfast… literally best I’ve had… hands down! And their doughnuts and huge cinnamons rolls are hands down AMAZING! Our server Nichole was so friendly and made us feel so welcomed … we definitely 10 out of 10 will recommend to try this place and will be back! Their cinnamon French toast and their Youngstown Benedict is to die for!

The Landmark restaurant in Youngstown, Ohio is a staple of the Westside. It’s simply one of the best places to get a great breakfast. The portion size for the price is very good. I usually go as soon as they open, not too crowded but it gets busy. You walk in and seat yourself, I usually like to grab a table. The seating options here are table, booths or the counter. I really enjoy the atmosphere here, early morning crowd of people getting ready for work or retired guys just enjoying their coffee. My waitress came over to me quickly, she was very pleasant. She then took my drink & breakfast order. She returned with my bottom-less coffee & water, there was a cup full of creamers on the table that I used to give my coffee the correct consistency. My meal was out a short time later, perfectly prepared, hot & correct. The best part of this place is after you finish your breakfast, you can stroll over to the bakery counter and get some amazing donuts. They make an Apple Fritter & Bear Claw the size of your head!!! They are big and amazing tasty, you simply must try them. They have a whole case of delicious donuts that I know you will enjoy. If you love a proper breakfast & delicious donuts, this is the place for you.

This place was super busy on a random Monday, and even with that, I received excellent service! No long waits to be seated or for food to come out. My coffee cup was always filled as needed. My food was great! The staff at this place were wonderful and clearly really good at their jobs. I think my servers name was Nicole? She was amazing, so I hope she sees this and knows that she and the other woman working were absolutely killing it! I recommend this as a breakfast place, and definitely plan to come back.

I ordered a Youngstown Chicken salad with extra ranch and got some salad with NO fries on it that it supposedly comes with, A ton of onions which I didn't want, Avocado all throughout which I DEFINITELY didn't want, and a little 2 ounce cup of ranch.. This was a group order from work and half the food was missing, and everything was wrong. The lady at the counter said "the best she can do is write us down for a free meal next visit" How is that even a thing, we're standing right in your restaurant with the jacked up order, and you're basically refusing to fix it, and telling us 'next time' ... Do better! First AND last visit here.

After a dip in quality for a while this local favorite has returned to form. The food was great, as was the service. The place was packed, my waitress was very busy, but she handled it well. The Landmark is back!

My first visit after hearing so much about this place was a large let down. First the drama of the coworkers not liking or treating each other poorly is heard loud enough to quiet the entire dining area. I'm not sure but it appears as if the management let certain people treat other employees poorly. A very loud fight broke out while I was eating. It also appears to have too short of staff for such a popular place. It took 30 minutes to seat my party of 3. They had about 8 tables empty. The waitresses had to take care of the register but there should be a dedicated employee for that and the donut case. It took an hour to receive food after being seated and I don't think the employee fight is what delayed the food as within 10 minutes after the fight I received my food. The food was overly cooked but not too much to not eat it. It was mediocre in seasoning and taste. It took forever to receive the check as well. In total, I spent over 2 hours to eat somewhere that has no place or right to be a popular spot. Majority of that time was spent just waiting for the next step. I will go back one more time and see if I can have my mind changed.

Shopping mall
Southern Park Mall is a straightforward retail destination that features large department stores, specialty shops, a convenient food court, and an enjoyable movie theater. The mall has promising opportunities for growth and appears to be enhancing its offerings with the addition of outdoor amenities like seasonal astro turf and a miniature stage for live music performances. It provides excellent dining options, making it an ideal place to socialize with friends while exploring the diverse range of trendy clothing and footwear from renowned brands.
Awesome tribute to the great Edward J DeBartolo with many interesting things he has done throughout his life! He loved sports and his 49ers! He was a great man! I met him when I was 6, we went for a ride in his limousine and he gave my brother and I each a $100 bill !!!! That’s huge for a kid in the 80s! I was extremely impressed with the remodeled portion of Southern Park Mall. Their tribute area is fantastic and has so many unique items on display!

My whole family drove all the way out there to ride the train and they don't run the train any more. Our hearts are broken. We still had a nice lunch and rode the stuffed animals and had a nice time in the arcade, but it's hard to explain to a 4 year old (after a 1 hour car ride) why the train is sitting there but we can't ride it.

Came out here from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania seems like a nice quiet mall Noticed a lot of stores are closed pretty sad to see The malls In the Pittsburgh area are actually still booming rather well surprisingly It's always fun to walk them all and just even window shop if you're low on funds

Clean stores. Visited Hot Topic and Spencers. Went to Build a Bear for the first time. The individuals over at Hot Topic are the shizzz. Just awesome people. Super easy to talk to. Build A Bear was fun. Made his birth certificate. Did a dance. Lol

New owners need to fix the parking lot asap. They haven't brought in any new stores. They raised the rent so some existing stores closed. Don't see them doing much of anything to improve the place. Do better!

Pretty cool little mall. I was hired to photograph it. Mall staff was very friendly and helpful. Mall was clean. Security was very friendly. Great experience + every store you can think of.

I lost money in the children’s ride and the mall management helped me find the number to call for reimbursement. I learned the machines do not belong to the mall so I needed to call the owner. Vince and Theresa were great!!!! Easiest $2.00 refund…move over Amazon, Southern Park Mall is alive and kicking.

Had the absolute displeasure dealing with Vincent Tyler (General Manager of the mall) when the kids ride took our change & wouldn’t work for the 3rd time in a row. Provided no help, and ignored me waiting in their waiting room for over 10 mins. The marketing manager was also super unhelpful and told me to call the number on the ride (a phone number in France) but I’m sure she’ll find a way to spin this if she’s good. Good luck to them and their failing mall!!!

If you're looking for an exhilarating day out, Extreme Air Boardman, Trampoline Park is the perfect destination! This vibrant trampoline park offers a fantastic array of activities that cater to all ages. From bouncing on trampolines to scaling a rock wall and enjoying laser tag, there's never a dull moment. The friendly staff ensures a smooth experience from check-in to jump time, making it easy for families to enjoy their visit.
Had an awesome time at this trampoline park! The place was super clean, well-organized, and clearly maintained with care. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience smooth from check-in to the end. Tons of fun activities for all ages—whether you’re bouncing around, doing flips, or just hanging out, there’s something for everyone

All the arcade games were down. None of the employees were on the floor for safety and the management was horrible. I was just there today 8/16/2025 and all they offered was an extra pass to come back. It was my son's birthday and was a horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I would really like management to get a hold of me but they would not give me a number. If I were you I would look for a different place, my experience as well as everyone else that was there was pissed.

Nice place for family. Kids loved it! Adults too. A lot of jumping activities. Nice rock wall, and game room. Helpful friendly staff. You can also have a birthday party here. There’s a food stand but it was closed on our visit. Plenty of vending though. Bathroom is a bit run down with profanity written in the stall I used. There is plenty of parking. Prices are reasonable with children 2 & under free.

Played laser tag and jumped on the trampolines. The laser tag course is a lot of fun. The best in the area for sure! Trampoline park is fun especially for the kids. Shout out to Ethan for being helpful and so nice and welcoming to us for our first visit.

Fun place for kids. Pizza and chicken tenders are really good. Super nice staff. Especially, a boy named Caden! He was a super star at helping the kids!

Let me start off by saying we were frequent and loyal customers of Big Air Trampoline Park when we lived in South Carolina. This made our expectations quite high. This place is basically a ripped off version of it and in my opinion, a complete waste of money! I only gave it three stars because out of the 6 of us (two adults and 4 children) that went, at 2 of the kids had a moderately good time. The youngest two, of course (ages 9 and 10). Big Air had about triple the attractions and cost 30% lower per person! $17 (plus $3 per person for socks, if you dont have grip socks) is not worth it for an hour of dodge ball, basketball hoops, and a rock wall (included in price). They have laser tag, too, but charge an extra $6 per head to play! I actually grew up around here playing ice hockey at this location before it turned into a trampoline park and the nostalgia of being there was more exciting then the actual attractions. One star if you're over the age of 10, 3 stars for under...

We had my sons birthday party here and for the price I paid it was pretty awful. The staff are all very young so they don't have a clue as to what's goin on. The Party host gave me options for pizzas and pop...she had to ask me 2 times because they were out of everything I kept choosing. They ran out of the kind of pizzas we had ordered. Part of the party itinerary was the stunt bag. I was told that they wouldn't be blowing it up due to lack of staff even though there were 5 workers standing around in a group on the trampoline area. The boys wanted to do the rock climbing since that was open and 2 of them got to and the workers disappeared so the kids couldn't do that either. It was very disappointing. We will never be back. Save your money.
Natalee — Google review
EDIT: Prices have gone up slightly a 90 minute jump session is now $26.00 and jump socks are now $3.00. My review below is still accurate. The increase from last time is only $5.00 (per child) still well worth the price. Very impressed with Extreme Air the staff were friendly and helpful and the prices were amazing we paid less than $50 for 2 jumpers and 2 pairs of jump socks. Drink prices were reasonable also. Activities include trampoline dunking, dodgeball, extreme jump, laser tag, arcade, rock climbing wall, and there is an ice skating rink also. When we were leaving we found out that adults could jump if they paid.

i don't give many 5 star reviews but the fun pass is a hit for my high energy son. I still feel like taking out the animatronics was unnecessary. Also, the trampoline is nice but you need to figure out a way to add a skywalk with a ball pit attached. If you could add diet code red mountain dew or regular to your soda machines you might see us everyday 😅👍🏾

New review: Still have good pizza. The play area has a good selection for all ages. And the prices to play the games with the play cards is excellent it’s also a great feature they added where the tickets you win go straight on your play card. Security/ safety is excellent you can relax while your child has fun. However We did get a birthday cake that was really dry it tasted like it may have been outdated or over baked. Also I liked the coupons better although the reward system is a nice feature I’d still like to have the coupons. The restaurant including restrooms could have been cleaner. Overall 4 stars and will continue to visit as long as children are young.

We made a reservation for a party and we had a party table. They come in moving us to a little booth because they said they have another party coming in. They started moving us out of our reserved seats because of the new party coming. They made us move the cake, all our belongings and food all the way across the room at 1:40 but our party doesn’t end until 2:30 so I will be calling corporate Monday when they’re open. We are being racially profiled and treated differently because we’re black. This place needs new management because I don’t understand why they felt the need to move our reserved seats for a birthday party because of some other family coming. The pizza was frozen cold to the touch. The first pic is our reserved seats for the birthday party. The second pic is where they moved us (all the way across the room) I used to work at this Chuck E Cheese and I am so glad I left. I feel disrespected as a former employee. I will be telling everyone about this situation. I will be posting this all over social media and tagging corporate/ headquarters. 100+ because of a birthday party where we weren’t treated fairly.

To have to pay all this money for the trampoline for my kids to jump and the employee that was keeping watch of it kept closing and locking the door when my girls would come out. We shouldn’t have to keep going back to get somebody to come back and re-open it. I don’t care if it’s not that busy, do your job. Or don’t charge people to use the trampoline that we can’t even use. My toddlers kept running up to it trying to get in and couldn’t. I shouldn’t have to keep going up to the desk to let someone know, I have my hands full as it is. I guess chit chatting and cleaning the glass cases were more important.

"Where a kid can be a kid" & this particular establishment embodies that ideology to the fullest. From the sporadic flashing lights emitted from the multitude of games to the music & sounds that induce a feeling of wonderment & energy, Chuck E. Cheese has entertainment unlike any other. In regards to the food, this place could most certainly be considered the zenith of pizza shops. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Courtney, an extremely friendly, courteous, smiling door guard that stamped the hand of every group going in & checked the stamps of every group going out as to ensure the safety of all guests. Her attention to detail & joyous persona made me think her mental fortitude is unshakable. On that note, the General Manager, Rocco, is an excellent role model for those working with him. This place was my first job in 2008 & he was a Manager then. His commitment to having a happy staff & even happier guests is what I believe has kept this particular business not only thriving but meeting & exceeding customer expectations to maintain its success. Rocco, thanks for all you have done & continue to do. A place where a kid can truly enjoy themselves uninhibited & even where an old Game Room Attendant can see if he is still good at Skee Ball

I don't think it's nessasory to have to pay for the trampoline part when you're already spending enough money to be there. I think it's rude, honestly. Then, when it's time to get a toy at the end, they are very stingy with tokens, and you always get nothing. Then I have to put money in to get something decent for my screaming child.

Be still my 80s heart! They still (as of March 2023) have all of the members of Munch's animatronic band! They also had Chuck E Cheese coming out every hour (even during the less busy lunch hours). Pizza came out hot and fast, and the staff were super friendly. We have two CEC locations closer to us, but the drive was totally worth it!

Ice cream shop
Handel's Ice Cream in Youngstown, Ohio, is a beloved ice cream parlor with a rich history dating back to 1945 when Alice Handel crafted her first batch using fresh fruit from her garden. This charming spot has become synonymous with homemade goodness, offering an impressive array of flavors including classic favorites and seasonal delights. The team at Handel's continues to honor Alice’s original recipe by making their ice cream fresh daily, ensuring that each scoop is creamy and delicious.
While in YoungsTown, Ohio, we found an excellent place for home made ice cream. The cream super nice and taste was great. Though we have so many great ice cream spots in Houston, this one is so nice and one of the most famous ice cream places in whole Ohio. It’s a takeout place only and you can see a long queue, always.

Simply the best. No other ice cream—locally or nationally—can compete with Handel’s. It’s unbelievably creamy and always fresh. They consistently have your favorite classic flavors, plus fun seasonal ones that keep things exciting. A must-visit for any ice cream lover!

I ordered a quart of Chocolate Malt with Caramel however there isn’t any caramel in the whole quart!! I’m assuming the standard for your recipes should be the same across the board correct? I normally go to the Poland one since it’s closer and there’s always tons of caramel. What happened to this batch? I’m happy to bring it back and show you. I don’t really want just a quart of malt. I wasn’t given a receipt, the containers weren’t marked, nor do they have the paper slips on them, however it is on my credit card. I also ordered a pint of strawberry ice cream and it’s good.

Chick-fil-A is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in mouthwatering chicken sandwiches and nuggets, alongside a variety of salads and sides. During my visit, I indulged in their Cobb salad, which was impressively fresh—no wilted lettuce here! The frosted lemonade tasted like a delightful lemon cream pop, while the medium fries and fruit cup were equally satisfying. The service was quick and friendly, making for an overall enjoyable experience.
Love the Chick Fil A cool wrap packed with chopped chicken, cheese & lettuce. Honestly, anything I’ve ever order from here has been delicious. I love their waffle fries & chicken tenders. The Avocado Lime ranch dressing pairs well with the cool wrap.

This bun is so old that it's not edible. Never ordered a sandwich before from here. Tried something new, and it's just terrible. It's hard to show, but that bun looks good yet is too old and dried out. The waffle fries are not even warm. Expense lunch to throw away.

Took my grand daughter for her birthday lunch she is 8. They took the order, they were out of all drinks except water Powerade and lemonade. They charged me extra for her drink since it wasn’t a soft drink. Also, she got an ice cream cone instead of a toy, and they gave her the cone before her food which she never got. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, we placed our order at 11:13, at 11:25 they called my name to tell me they didn’t have spices for the spicy chicken sandwich which was ridiculous. There were about 10 customers in the lobby all ticked off, I finally went and asked for my money back, and came to the good one down the road. Terrible experience will never be back. I highly recommend you do not frequent that location

If I could leave a zero I would. I put in a mobile order at 11am. Did not receive my food until 11:37am for 2 sandwiches. This is completely unacceptable. I will never come to this location ever again. The new one was much faster than this and it was way more crowded. Do not come here if you can avoid it, just drive across the street.

If you like meatballs that taste and look like dog food- you will enjoy this place 🤮 Breadsticks have no flavor. Pizza is “ok” but not great. Meatball sauce seems to be tomato paste and water. No flavor. Nothing really had flavor. For $45 I would expect something good.

This is the East coast, eastern Midwest version of MOD Pizza. They serve made to order personal pizzas. You get exactly what you want on your pizza, and yes, they do have pineapple. Excellent pizza at a good price, ready in under 5 minutes. The only thing they could improve would be to add a little garlic to their sauce! My wife and I will definable be going back (regularly).

Very good. I would have to be in the mood for it to keep going. Something about it I don't love, but I still think it's very good pizza and is priced appropriately. The staff are nice there also. 4 out of 5 for sure.
Jessica C — Google review
This was one of my worst experiences in a pizza shop. The ordering process was confusing at best. The signs are not very easy to understand. I asked a few things and the employee left to go ask someone else. He was alone and clearly new, while two others were in a back room somewhere. He never really did answer me. The toppings are not listed anywhere, and this poor new guy should not have been left alone. We watched as a tiny flat piece of dough was skimpily spread with sauce and our cheese was measured out on a scale. There was barely enough cheese to cover the whole pie. Our pizzas were laid in the oven, and we checked out. In the meantime, we had to tell them 4 times we were dining in. A line formed and another guy came out, made their pizzas and put them in next to ours. Ours were in too long or forgotten. They were dry and burned, yet the mountain of peppers on mine were crunchy and raw. Black crust, black dust on the bottom, very little flavor in the sauce. My husband's had so much black ash on the bottom there was a huge pile of it he scraped off. My pizza was not cut through at all, and plastic utensils do not cut well. We ate as much of the food that was edible. I picked my peppers off. We were both hungry, had paid for it and just wanted out of there and to go home after this. And I never even mentioned the ridiculous prices! My husband threw the receipt away because he knew how mad I was, that I would erupt at the total. I like supporting small businesses, and at the moment I wished we had just gone to a chain pizza shop. That's how bad this was. Bottom line, and I worked retail and customer service for over 25 years... Do not ever throw a new employee on the floor, alone, between lunch and dinner where he has to keep walking away to ask other people questions. It was NOT his fault. He was very polite to us, and was nervous. Whoever the two other people working there were, they should be ashamed of themselves. If you throw a pizza in to cook, you have to make sure it is taken out in a normal time frame. It was so dry, crunchy and burned, it was such a disappointment. Whoever makes the decisions on topping portions must be an idiot. $9.99 for a small pita size dough and barely any sauce or cheese is a complete ripoff. I'll never come back here again. Rethink your business practices. Sorry for the gross half eaten food photos. Just beware.
Colleen D — Google review
Wanted to try this place and disappointed! The food was just ok, nothing really stood out. Staff were friendly. Serving size was ok, did expect more toppings instead they were quite frugal with their servings. The price was a bit high for what you get. All in all not a place I would return to. My son and I try to visit a different place every week and unfortunately this doesn’t make the list.

Also the service was very fast and everyone was very nice . The only minor complaint i had was it was kind of difficult to hear the person making the pizza or for them to hear you ... Scarsella's Restaurant is a beloved neighborhood spot that offers classic Italian dishes in a modest setting. Despite the closure of many upscale eateries, local food culture thrives through independent establishments like Scarsella's. Guests rave about the delectable pasta and sauce offerings, with homemade flavors that stand out. The meatballs, chicken and veal parm, as well as the pasta dishes receive high praise.
Oh my! The homemade pasta was wonderful. The best meatballs I've ever had and I love meatballs. The veal Parm was so crispy, even under the wonderful sauce. The food came out very hot not lukewarm. They even have a gluten free pasta option! I'll be back to try different items!

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews for places but when the shoe fits....I Stopped in on my lunch break to try a new place. They weren't too busy but it was very small and had too many tables in such a small space. I ordered a beverage and a fish sandwich and added cheese. The sandwich does not come with fries or chips. My bill for a drink and a sandwich was $15 and some change! They have a menu that's priced like we're in New York and it's Youngstown. I did receive 2 slices of bread as an appetizer that came in an unlined plastic basket?? When I went to check it seemed as if the staff were all oblivious to any customer activity. I waited at the host stand for over 4 mins while I watched the younger girl working there play on her phone and the other guy just rambling away at the kitchen staff.

We had reservations for a funeral lunch for 8 people. We were seated right away, but no one came to take our orders for several minutes. We got the server to take our drink and food order, but she didn't seem happy about it. We chatted and waited while a few other tables were seated and served. Restaurant
Aqua Pazzo is a remarkable establishment with a charming ambiance and an inviting bar area. The overall upscale atmosphere creates a delightful dining experience. The appetizer of burrata and prosciutto was enjoyable, while the spaghetti cacio e pepe had a rich buttery cheese sauce, complementing the seafood spaghetti that was expertly prepared. Although the seafood spaghetti had a surprising touch of spiciness for one person, it was still well-made.
so so good!! i’ve been here multiple times and it never disappoints. not only is the atmosphere the best in the area, especially the patio, the food is always delicious. pictured is the margarita pizza, salmon, fennel sausage rigatoni, spaghetti and clams, tortellini vodka sauce, and a meatball (my fave). the martinis are excellent and so is the wedding soup. perfectly cooked calamari and you can’t go wrong with butter cake to finish. i’m always looking forward to my next visit!

Absolutely wonderful experience. It was my first time there and took my wife with me for a dinner date. Our server Mark was very polite and professional and helpful with the menu items. The Calamari was cooked to perfection and the sauce was amazing. The pasta was perfectly al dente. The chicken my wife had was so succulent and fell off the bone and the flavors were incredible. Overall the atmosphere was very pleasant and if you have the time and money to make it there it is definitely worth your while. The tiramisu was the best I've had in years.

Absolutely wonderful high end restaurant, the drinks, food and service were great!! Big shout out to Mark our waiter 👍🏻☺️👍🏻felt very welcomed and not rushed like you do at some other places. Few things that I'd say on the downfall they definitely need to update the women's bathroom cause there's 1 stall. An if you want to be seated near the koi fish make sure you ask ahead of time. Reserve because this place gets busy and we can see why. Beautiful, peaceful, layed back place with amazing food, drinks and not excessive TVs. We'll definitely be returning 🥰🤌🏻

We had a great birthday celebration on a Tuesday early evening. We had reservations but the crowd was small when we arrived. We were immediately seated. Water, bread and dipping oil quickly appeared. Our server was prompt and efficient throughout. He also delivered four, yes four, menus and a wine list. None of the menus were crowded but several were oversized and awkward to navigated. We enjoyed the bread and oil and our entrees arrived quickly. Tues is $14 pasta night. We got arrabiata and a carbonera dishes that were excellant. The portions were right sized so we had room for the butter cake dessert. We had a glass of Merlin with dinner but passed on coffee. Overall, this was a great meal. But....the decor was an open "industrial" ceiling painted black. When the crowd was small it was no problem. As the crowd grew, the noise grew until conversation wasn't possible. The open kitchen area was nice to watch but made the noise worse. I think we will look at patio seating next time. There will be a next time. A great meal and experience with wine and dessert for under $60. You would have to be crazy not to go back.

Absolutely the best Italian restaurant I've eaten at in all my travels. The food was amazing and homemade pastas were fantastic. We got a bottle of wine (or two lol), had an appetizer, shared 2 main courses and enjoyed the butter cake dessert whis was AMAZING. The atmosphere and ambiance of the place make it a nice touch to enjoy a meal and coi pond if your sitting in the outdoor area. I will surely make this a stop on my travels when visiting my family out here again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better Mother’s Day brunch at Aqua Pazzo. The interior itself is intimate and beautiful, but then the bright natural light of the outdoor light makes it two different atmospheres. Nicole took such good care of us. She’s very friendly and authentic. Request her if she’s there. The open kitchen was a joy to watch and even better to smell. The menu is well thought-out and diverse. We started with the greens and while properly prepared and tender, they were a salt bomb. I didn’t mind it too much though. The wedding soup is top-notch and a standout for this area where it’s on a lot of menus. The Italian Chopped Salad is recommend with your meal. The Chicken Milanese was a perfectly breaded cutlet with creamy risotto and fresh lemon squeezed over the arugula that topped it. The house made Fusilli Sausage Pasta was a great portion and perfectly balanced cream sauce. Loved it! For dessert the butter cake was just that, an explosion of butter. It had a nice crust on the edges, very good. The special strawberry tiramisu was in a little glass jar, but wanted more. This is one of the best restaurants in the Youngstown area. I look forward to returning when back in town. Grazie!

Super good! The pizza, pasta, and apps were all outstanding. It was nice going for their pasta special as we got to try that and some other dishes on the menu. A good spot for some yummy Italian food.

The food was good, but it wasn't great. The bread they give you is terrible, and the wedding soup was the best I've ever had. The building was beautiful, I wish we were able to sit outside. But overall, a good experience.

Beautiful, peaceful park with lots of trails, water spots, benches along trails, wildlife, peaceful stops throughout. Recommend stopping at Lily pond and get a trail map from kiosk near water fountain. It's so large an area it'll take more than one visit to hike it all.

Fellows Riverside Gardens is a stunning 12-acre public garden located at the northern end of Millcreek Park. The gardens feature a wide variety of flora, including roses, seasonal annuals, perennials, and flowering bulbs. Visitors can enjoy the vibrant displays of over 40,000 multicolored bulbs that bloom each spring across the expansive grounds. I absolutely love photographing weddings here! So many different photo locations to choose from and the staff is always so nice. It’s always kept looking beautiful with seasonal plants and flowers🌸

Any time of the year is a great time to visit Fellows Riverside Gardens. Take a magical stroll through absolute beauty! Lots of events are planned throughout the year. The evening walk through to see the Jack o lanterns and Christmas lights are a definite highlight. I’ve been there by myself to take some time to reflect and I’ve gone with friends and family to share the beauty. It’s also a great place for photography. The Gardens are closed on Monday so make sure you plan another day.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful venues for a wedding! Our ceremony was held in the rose gardens, and our reception was in the hall on the lower level of the building. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful, and all our guests loved how convenient everything was. There's so many spots around the gardens for photos, and it's large enough that we were able to have 100+ guests attend the ceremony. Inside, we had 200 comfortably. And, last but not least, the food from Inspired by Kravitz was very good! We had ZERO complaints about anything!

Always a beautiful walk through the gardens. It helps me to reset my mind and enjoy the fresh air. I love to use Google images and discover the names of flowers and plants. The best part is seeing all the pollinators! 🦋🐝

Beautiful free gardens, art gallery and cafe! It was a fantastic pit stop between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Good place to stretch your legs, have a snack and learn about the area. The grounds were partially under construction for expansion to add a children's garden. The regional flora representation is impressive. The only drawback was the lack of clear signage for the perennialsand trees. Many of the signs were for spring bulbs that were out of season. A curiosity is the sculptures in the top corner beyond the mall. They were beautiful but had no plaques to indicate the artist.

End of October and still so many flowers in bloom! There were 2 wedding services and at least 3 groups taking wedding pictures.

The DeYor Performing Arts Center, located in the historic Wick Park district, is a hub of top-notch entertainment. As the home of the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra and Opera Western Reserve, it offers a diverse range of performances including recitals, ballets, musical acts, and comedic shows throughout the year. The center's Stambaugh Auditorium provides an intimate setting for concerts and events. Ballet Western Reserve also offers exceptional programs for children in the area.
I’ve attended multiple performances at DeYor. It’s a beautiful theater. Seating graduates upward toward the rear of the theater so everyone can see. No pillars or obstacles obstructing the stage. Kind & professional staff. Cash bar & clean bathrooms. I enjoy attending events at this venue.

We visited the Deyor Performing Arts Center in Youngstown, Ohio for a special event. It contains the Edward W. Powers Auditorium, which was built in 1931 and was originally called the Warner Theatre named after Sam Warner. The style is Art Deco and the auditorium contains some very interesting art. The Auditorium hosts events throughout the year and you can find schedule by visiting the Deyor website. This is one of those mostly forgotten venues that only locals are aware of. Definitely worth the visit.

Horribly organized, next to useless staffing. We showed up early, and it took over an hour to get through the front door. They kicked people out for having a purse. There was no sign that said you couldn't have a purse, and no staff said anything as they saw people pile up outside. There is no way to find your seat without assistance. The staff hid in the shadows, watching people walk around in circles searching for a seat. They really let people walk around in the dark and disrupt the show for over 30 minutes. Enjoy the small seats! At least it's a pretty building on the inside.

Amphitheater
Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre is a popular outdoor venue in Youngstown, Ohio that can accommodate up to 4,800 people. Owned by the Youngstown Foundation and operated by JAC Management Group, it offers a picturesque backdrop of the city skyline for concerts and community events. While some visitors have noted challenges with seating arrangements and handicap accessibility, many praise the incredible sound quality, cleanliness of the venue, and overall experience.
First time at the Amphitheater & we really enjoyed it. Sound was great & so nice to be outside under the sky. Newsboys along with others put on a fantastic show for God Loves You Tour 2022. It was a great experience & the concert sweatshirts as well.

Went to Ella Langley and Riley Green concert. Had seats in the lawn VIP. That area has is own porta potties, bars and free self serve lawn chairs. Bar staff was friendly. Easy to arrive to. Parking was only $20 and very easy to get to gate. Lines moved quickly. Much easier than the larger venues for exiting after concert. Perfect night for opening the season.

Saw Rain - A Beatles Tribute Band. What a great Band. Sound so much like the original Beatles. Great sound, custom changes thru time, Great backdrop pictures & videos. If you have the opportunity to see Rain - The Beatles Tribute Band Go!!! Beautiful outdoor setting at this Amphitheater. Only complaint- plastic, narrow chairs, zipped tied together, so your butt to butt and chair curve hips up- so pain.
Arlene O — Google review
It was a great show, The reserved seats were awful small folding chairs placed too close together. Also, there was no roof overhead If i ever come back here i will bring my camp chair and buy lawn seating for much less money. I expected more for my $85 a seat cost (including tax and fees)

Beautiful venue! Love that they had food trucks and many people manning the drinks areas. Lines moved quick and everyone was very nice.
Sarra F — Google review
The ampitheater and facilities are great. It's a nice smaller venue so you have a great view no matter where you're sitting. I will say apparently they allow smoking in the venue even in the seating area so if you have asthma be prepared for that. It's 2025 who still smokes cigarettes? That was the only only disappointment from the entire night.
Welcome V — Google review
Nice, new venue with plenty of lawn seating. I do wish there was a bit more of a hill on the lawn to make it easier to see. They seem to be fine-tuning their chair policy too, in terms of the height of chairs allowed. I was there to see Chicago, which was apparently the first paid concert they had. There were some good food options at non-outrageous prices.

The Federal is a delightful spot that combines spacious comfort with a vibrant atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for burger enthusiasts and craft beer lovers alike. With its inviting patio and festive decor, especially during the holiday season, it offers a unique dining experience. Guests can indulge in classic and creative burgers while enjoying generous portions of fries. The menu also features vegetarian options like veggie burgers, though some may find the prices slightly higher than average.
It was a delightful Christmas experience! The food was delicious. Our server was very friendly. Even the hostess knew how to take pictures at a perfect angle. I will definitely go back!

I came into this restaurant/bar for the first time today and I really loved how the atmosphere was. The atmosphere was not too loud and not too crowded. Menu: A bit pricier from what I am normally used to, and I had to ask the server for nonalcoholic drink options because there were none in the drink menu section. Food: I got a veggie burger and fries. I had no issues with the burger, and the fries that I ate had yummy seasonings, but they were a bit salty. I also had a small cup of barbecue sauce for the fries, but I didn’t like the taste of it. Staff: Nice and friendly. Parking: A little bit difficult at times when Federal Street is crowded.

Wife and I had dinner here this evening. Atmosphere is exceptionally Christmas themed, with nearly every surface decorated in some way. Wife had a sparkling Moscato and I tried an Old St.Nick. Both drinks were very good, mine especially. We started dinner with the whipped feta appetizer which had toasted bread, which was pretty good. For dinner, we had the milanese and eggplant. My wife really liked the milanese and my eggplant was good but nothing exceptional. She got cheesy potatoes and I had the sweet potato casserole, both of which were very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. She was waiting on alot of big parties but stopped back to check on us, as she could. Overall service and food were great. The atmosphere was exceptional given all the hard work decorating. If you have the opportunity to dine in, take it. It's worth the stop.

We have been here 1 hour waiting for food. When it first came aĺl burgers were barely luke warm. Taste was good, but it sat somewhere for some time. Asked for manager to let them know that this is not okay, since a 4 top & 2 top came after us and got their food and left and we still didnt have food. Manager was very excuse oriented. We didnt want anything more than an apology and understood for them to maybe fix this problem, but she was short, made excises and never apologized like we were crazy... we're not coming back. Fyi atmosphere was nice and place is very pretty and clean. Waitor was nice and tried to help but not sure where the issue happened because they couldn't answer. He did a good job.

I thought the hotel was located in a very central location and was fortunate to have an opportunity to be there during the Italian festival. I brought my family there including my parents. Unfortunately the age of the hotel isn't conducive to ADA laws. My parents room wasn't ideal for restricted movements and being able to enjoy the various parts of a very nice hotel. However, the rest of my family loved the hotel and we ate in the restaurant the remaining days.

Came here with Youngstown Click to help support The Federal. Haven't been here in a while. This is the best place to get a burger. You can order a single, double, or triple. You get a lot of fries, too. A true current restaurant gem here in Youngstown.

Fiancee and I went to try out The Federal in Youngstown for the first time since being back home. We've been here plenty of times, but only once or twice since Bar Rescue came through Youngstown. Walking in, I was surprised to see that they didn't change everything back to how it was. Very clean inside. I ordered the smash patty burger. It was good, but very heavy/greasy. Like more than necessary. Bec ordered the Chipotle Sunrise Quesadilla. 6/10, greasy, kinda not as much flavor as you'd expect. My beer was alright, but definitely not as cold as you'd like. Serving cold beer in a cold cup is just as easy as serving a cold beer in a warm cup. The music inside was the exact same as a Top Golf or a Cosmic Bowling party. New age club type music. Will I come back? Sure. Will it be my first recommendation? Nah. Also what's up with this ATM? 6.6/10

I can not express enough how amazing this place is....the food is phenomenal, the restaurant atmosphere is great too. But what really is the hidden gem is the staff...they truly go above and beyond for each of their guests. I hosted a large party there this weekend on a Saturday night...and everyone that came with me had an amazing time...each and everything thing we ordered was better than the next. Everyone took such great care of us, I even had the opportunity to meet the owner and he was so very nice and really runs an amazing restaurant. Melissa took AMAZING care of us and really listened and made the experience so enjoyable. When in doubt of what to order....ask your server they made some amazing rec's and I wish they could open a restaurant just like this in my city (we were there for an event). Thank you for everything and truly if you get the chance or are thinking of going....RUN....its AMAZING... PS STILL DREAMING ABOUT THE FOOD.....

The extensive assortment of toppings available at Suzie's Dogs And Drafts is truly impressive. There is a wide range of options to choose from, ensuring that customers can find just about anything they desire. It is unfortunate, however, that they no longer offer crickets as one of their toppings. In addition to the savory dog choices, such as ones with cheese and irradiated slaw, Suzie's also offers a dessert dog.
Absolutely fantastic place. Great food. Great beer. Great service and great prices. Their hot dogs are truly fantastic!! So many toppings available and most of which are free to add to your dog. We enjoyed playing on the games at the arcade corner too. I wish they'd open a location in or closer to Akron! But I will definitely make that drive JUST to go there again P.s GET the crickets!!!

Finding a suitable place to eat on a gluten-free, flour-free diet for Celiac Disease can be challenging. However, Casa Ramirez Mexican Restaurant is an adorable establishment that may go unnoticed if you're not actively searching for it. Not only is it reasonably priced, but the staff are also kind and accommodating to dietary restrictions. Their culinary offerings are among the best I've ever had the pleasure of tasting.
Soooo sad to hear about your closing. I have had the privilege of eating the best Mexican food in town since you were on Midland at the MAC. I've never had a bad meal in all these years!!! Been here several times, great food, really reasonable prices. My wife loves that we can get food a la cart so we can try a little bit of everything. Great service. I’m looking forward to the next time we go.

I was walking across town, and as I passed Casa Ramirez, I stopped and decided to call Lyft. (Cold outside).. I eat here occasionally over the years. Always on point! The food tastes good, looks good, hot, and everytime with fresh ingredients... The steak was seasoned right, and no question prepared with care. Not crowded and friendly Service. Priced reasonable. Great decorations and nice environment. Thanks again the Steak Burrito 🌯! I was Starving!!!!

Told to sit anywhere and that the deck was open. We sat on the deck, which was nice. It was fenced in and private. We had two waitresses coming out, asking us the same thing multiple times, bringing out an order that was not ours (we were the only ones on the deck) and it took forever to take our order. My partner ordered a cheese quesadilla, which was fine. Can't mess that up. I ordered a steak fajita. It was woefully under seasoned. All in all I probably won't go back.

For my specific gluten free flour free Celiac Disease diet, it's hard finding places to eat but this cute little Mexican restaurant you could easily pass up if you weren't looking for it not was it affordable but the staff was kind and sweet and were able to accommodate my dietary needs with some of the best food I've ever tasted. The waitress understood my diet and told me they have other customers just like me do it was not inconvenient. It was fast service and the food was DELICIOUS! I HIGHLY recommend it!!

Flea & Street Markets
Four Seasons Flea & Farm Market is a bustling indoor/outdoor market open year-round on Wednesdays and Sundays, offering a wide variety of goods from up to 600 vendors. It's a treasure trove for antique enthusiasts and produce lovers, with fresh and affordable items. The market also boasts an impressive selection of flowers, bushes, and trees at great prices. However, visitors should be mindful of the large number of dogs present, as it can pose safety concerns.
Lots of good things here to find, finally found a 3" Reed vise today

⭐⭐⭐ Four Seasons Flea Market just isn’t what it used to be. It used to be packed with unique vendors, great finds, and a lively atmosphere. Now, it feels like a lot of that charm is gone. There are still a few good vendors here and there, but many booths are empty or selling the same kinds of items. It’s not terrible, but definitely not the experience it once was. Still worth a walk-through if you’re already in the area, but don’t expect the same vibe from years past.

I love going to this business on Wednesdays & Sundays. The food is amazing and the deals are even better. I even got a super cool ring made from this lady sitting outside the front door. She was stamping rings for the low price of $20 and they were an amazing quality. I wear mines everyday.

I always enjoy trips to Four Seasons! Exceptional home-baked goods, one of a kind and specialty finds ❤️ This week's treasure is the crystal shop inside of the building with the geodes from Morroco. I can't wait to get home and crack it open so I can see what's inside 💠

Go to the flea market on a foggy Sunday under a waning crescent moon. Toward the back, past the wind chimes and incense, there’s a vendor you won’t find twice. Among the strange trinkets sits a cat wearing sunglasses. If you see it, don’t speak. Bow to him, leave a tip and know that your fortune will soon shift.
Nicholas S — Google review
Inside vender named Rick has a booth straight when you walk in. Excellent one of a kind antiques. Fair pricing, really nice guy, and will negotiate pricing. Fair pricing on silver coins as well. A must see. You won't be disappointed

Great place to buy New, used items. About 600 vendors on Sunday, and about 200 on Wednesday. So no matter what time you go I'm sure you will find something that you never thought you could find!! Update Aug.9th 2021 new full time store coming Aug. 17th 2021 called Century Hypermarket. Great guy, open from Tuesday through Sunday 9-4:30pm

Always great, and lots of neat finds. Pay attention to the weather for the day you plan to arrive. Some vendors inside, but most are outside.

Italian restaurant
Cassese's MVR is a lively Italian restaurant and bar that has been a staple in Youngstown since 1927. It offers a wide range of classic Italian dishes, sandwiches, and specials. The restaurant also features outdoor dining and bocce courts for entertainment. Despite the closure of many upscale restaurants in the city, Cassese's MVR continues to thrive as an independent establishment.
MVR is an absolute gem for Italian food lovers in Youngstown! I recently grabbed the Tressel tortellini to go, and it was fantastic. The tortellini was cooked perfectly, and the sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Every bite was a comforting reminder of why MVR is such a beloved spot. Even though it was a to-go order, the food was packaged well and still hot by the time I got home. The staff was friendly and efficient, making the pickup process a breeze. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu—next time, maybe I’ll stay to soak in the restaurant’s ambiance. Highly recommend!

Descent Italian food bit service wasn't the best. Messed up 2 food orders, but it was Saturday night, so I understand how busy it was and how much more stress it adds. Might try it again next time we are in town.

Came here 10/15/25 for my daughters birthday dinner, I had the veal parm and angel hair pasta, not sure if it was real veal or a what, but it was very tender... overall the food wasn't bad at all.. first time here, and I'll Definitely come back..

The service was friendly. Our server continued to check in and was hospitable. The food was great. The blacken chicken was well seasoned and the house salad dressing was delicious. Upon leaving the restarting, a staff member helped up walk out to the door to ensure my companion was able to get into the car as she had challenges walking. Wow!

Stopped in on a very busy night due to a concert. Completely understand that staff was not 100% due to a ton of people. Food was good pizza was amazing. Glad we stopped I .

We had a great experience with our son's rehearsal dinner here. Even with two different events and regular Friday night patrons, Joe was able to run a smooth operation. Our attendant for the night, Summer, was awesome. With 46 people in attendance, she made sure food and drinks were readily available. We had the Trussel tortellini, spicy bowtie, salad, bread, chicken francese, and steamed broccoli. The kitchen staff are commendable in their efforts. Well done and well pleased.

I've been coming to the MVR since I was in college and it has never disappointed, so when needing a venue for my daughter's grad party, I knew the MVR would be a great choice. The food here has always been incredible, but I was also blown away by the service as well! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and made sure everything was taken care of and as stress free as possible for us, which is no simple task with a grad party of our size (about 175 guests). Did I already mention the food? It's a day later and we're still hearing from our guests about how good the food was. Great experience, great food, highly recommend the MVR!

Delicious Tortellini. The sauce was sooo good and plenty of it too. The Italian salad dressing was delicious. Tasted home made. The Hells Shells were also delicious with Spicy peppers on top of a generous portion of home made sauce that covered all of the shells. Perfect for dipping the Italian bread in. If you want home made Italian food cooked right then this is the place. They don’t skimp on the portion sizes or the amount of sauce on the food either. Go there! Eat well!

I was pleasantly surprised. The museum is beautiful. It locates in t University campus where parking is hard. It has free parking lot for museum patrons. Appreciate the wonderful experience.

Really enjoyed visiting. Surprised at the many treasures to be found there. Particularly, Chuck Olson's exhibit made the 1-hour drive worthwhile.

Excellent FREE art museum. It has so much American art here, it is hard to believe it is free to view. See Rockwell, O’Keefe and many more. Free parking lot and easy to access next to the YSU Campus.

Today was the first time in over 20 years that I visited this art museum, and I really loved how much information was given about the exhibits, especially the paintings. The statue in the Brown Gallery with the “Art” name tag was so realistic that me and my friend thought it was an actual real security guard! Also, this museum has free admission, and there are many signs throughout the museum telling people not to touch the artworks, especially for younger children.
Sara — Google review
Amazing. We got here as soon as they opened and immediately were given a map and some tips on how to best experience the museum. Employees are amazing. The art is so interesting. Free entry is such a treat. You have to stop if you're in the area.

FREE! I cannot rave enough about this museum - the artwork and interactive displays are incredible. Free parking, elevators, gift shop and a coffee shop! Absolutely wonderful!

What a wonderful art museum. It’s laid out very well, so it’s easy to navigate and enjoy. They have a broad collection of American art and a surprisingly large amount of pieces from famous artists. The folk art wing was very nice, and the view over the inside of the church was a treat too. I’d definitely recommend anyone who enjoys art to stop by.

This museum is amazing. It is definitely worth a visit. So many different genres and multiple levels to explore. Allow yourself at least 2 hours if you want to enjoy the experience. There are two gift shops. Off street parking and close to many restaurants.

YOSTERIA

Italian restaurant
Market
YOSTERIA is a delightful culinary gem that beautifully captures the essence of rural Italy, offering an array of dishes inspired by various Italian towns. With a menu featuring beloved classics like focaccia and eggplant parmigiana, YOSTERIA invites diners to experience authentic Southern Italian flavors. This charming eatery has evolved since its inception, expanding its offerings to include rustic hand-crafted pizzas and freshly baked Italian bread.
We had our anniversary dinner here, and it was our first experience dining here. The service and the food were absolutely phenomenal. It is the best, most authentic Italian cuisine I have had. We will definitely be back.

We had the absolute best experience for Valentine'S day! Felt like you were at a family members house! Our waitress was excellent. The food was beyond expectations! We will definitely be back and be recommending!!
Brittany M — Google review
The food here was absolutely incredible—authentic regional Italian that you could taste in every bite. The setting, tucked inside someone’s home, made the experience feel so warm and welcoming, almost like dining with family. We tried the eggplant, Chicken Milanese, the roll appetizer, and the peppers in oil, and each dish was bursting with flavor. My taste buds were dancing the whole night! The wine selection was just as authentic and thoughtfully paired with the food. To finish, we had the tiramisu, which was the perfect nightcap—light, creamy, and delicious. This place is truly a hidden gem in Youngstown, and I can’t recommend it enough.
Natalie S — Google review
It was superb! Bread was outstanding. Probably the best bread I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The meal was delicious and the service was excellent.
Deborah S — Google review
A restaurant in an old house, lots of rustic charm. Food served in shareable portions, so go with a friend and try multiple delicious options! Would recommend the gnudi and arancini!
Tim B — Google review
Excellent experience. Food was fantastic, the outdoor seating makes it hard to believe you’re in downtown Youngstown
Jon C — Google review
We came to Yosteria when it first opened and it was just pizza and burgers. It was excellent and with COVID hadn't been back. Wife and I finally made it back tonight. Restaurant has expanded with more indoor seating and a larger small plates menu. We were seated quickly and service was prompt/excellent, even with only 2 servers on staff. Wife and I tried the Parmigiana, Gnudi, and Melzanne e Miele. Eggplant was excellent and traditional. Gnudi was wonderful. The pizza ... wow. So simple but soooooo good. Dough was light with great texture. The touch of honey was perfect. Everything was great but that pizza was incredible. For desert, we split sfogliatella. The pastry was light and well made. The custard had great flavor. Overall, couldn't have had a better experience and we are going to try to get a group together to come back soon.
