Nestled in a serene setting surrounded by mangroves, Maquinit Hot Spring is a must-visit destination near Coron Town. Accessible by hiking, tricycle, or as part of a guided tour, this saltwater hot spring offers a relaxing experience for travelers. Whether you've been snorkeling, diving, or exploring the nearby islands, unwinding in the warm pools at Maquinit Hot Spring is the perfect way to soothe tired muscles.
A “hot” spot in Coron! Pool might get crowded but when we went, it wasn’t too much. It can get really hot in the pool. That’s why it’s suggested to do intervals going in and out. A must visit, especially after your tours to sooth the muscles.
Adrian — Google review
The last stop for the land tour but can also be accessible by tricycle. It is a large hot spring and luckily when we visited, it was not too crowded and was able to enjoy it. It is only good for soaking and not for swimming. The good thing is there are rules around to follow. Besides that, the place also has mangroves which is overlooking the sea. The hot spring is relaxing after a very long day. Make sure to bring extra clothes for changing or a towel as it can get uncomfortable commuting when still wet. The best time to visit is when the sun starts to set so it would not be too hot for the hot spring.
Hillary C — Google review
Nice for relaxing. Part of town tour, but you can just rent tricycle or motor going here. Entrance fee as of date is Php300. Well maintained spring. No shower area, only misting/cooling area. There are a lot of changing/Restroom.
Audrey N — Google review
I loved my visit to Maquinit Hot Spring. It’s a natural hot spring and such a relaxing spot. Getting there takes about a 20-minute motorcycle ride, and the road can get muddy and slippery, so just take it slow. But honestly, the moment you arrive, you’ll forget about the rough road — the place is absolutely worth it. Entrance is 300 pesos, cash only. Super refreshing experience!
Juju M — Google review
Nice natural hot spring facility. Lots of space to lounge with one large pool area plus a few smaller pools. Misting area available. 300₽ entrance fee. Road leading up to the hot spring is a little rough if travelling by tricycle but is manageable. Bring your own towel. Snacks and drinks available for purchase.
Gail F — Google review
Maquinit Hot Spring in Coron, Palawan is a unique saltwater hot spring surrounded by mangrove trees. The water is warm (38–40°C) and best enjoyed in the evening for stunning sunset views. The entrance fee is 300 pesos per person. Facilities include changing rooms, a grocery shop, and lockers. It’s about a 30-minute tricycle ride from Coron Town, making it a peaceful and relaxing spot to visit.
Dewan A — Google review
We came here around 6 PM. My friend told me the road was rough and muddy, and we were using her motorcycle, so we expected we might slip since it had been raining. But we still made it, and it was totally worth it—the place is beautiful! It’s different from the hot springs we have in Laguna. This hot spring in Coron is definitely something I’d come back to. Hopefully, by the time I return, the road will be fixed because that’s really the main problem
Olivia B — Google review
We visited Maquinit Hot Spring and it was good. We went during a quiet time, which made it much nicer and more relaxing. The water is hot, the area is peaceful, and it was just a nice thing to do while in Coron. Nothing crazy, but definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something different to fill a couple of hours.

Cabo Beach is located about 8 kilometers from the Town Proper of Coron and offers a serene setting for those looking to relax on the sand or take a refreshing swim. The beach features small huts where visitors can unwind, and while the water may not be crystal clear and the sand not as fine as some might hope for, it still provides beautiful views of Coron Island.
Rented a scooter and headed here from Coron early morning...worth the trip we had coffee in one of the gazebos by the water - fun ride there and the water was magical. Go early am for a swim or late for the sunset!
JK — Google review
Cabo Beach in Coron, Palawan is a quiet and peaceful spot about 8 km from Coron Town. It's good for relaxing, picnicking, and swimming without needing a boat trip. The beach is simple, not crowded, with small huts for shade and basic facilities. The sand is not very white, and the water can be a bit murky, but it's a convenient choice for a calm afternoon near town. Entry Fee: 50 Pesos per person.
Dewan A — Google review
Very small beach, sand sucks, once you are in the water it’s rocks mixed with sand, not pleasant to walk, very shallow to swim. Almost no people, entrance - 50 peso 😐 Wouldn’t go again.
Maximillion — Google review
Nice beach. Lots of locals hanging out, playing music, and swimming. The road is rough to get there but the view from the beach is worth it!
Pia R — Google review
It needs 50 to enter that place which turns to be the dumbest decision I’ve made ever since the beach is full of trash, plastic bottles and garbage. And the road to that place is very bad, it’s very easy to fall from the moto after raining because the road is slippery.
Cc W — Google review
50 pesos to get in. There is a karaoke bar and individual beach huts for picnicking or just hanging out. The bay is sheltered and the sea floor is stony and covered in sea grass so the water is not really blue but it is clean and clear. A great place to come with kids
Siobhan B — Google review
Be aware of jellyfish. A tourist got badly stung there and it doesn’t seem uncommon from the locals reaction. Paying to enter without a warning sign is dishonest.
Ilyass — Google review
Not the best beach but it had a bar and little spaces to spend the day which I appreciated

Siete Pecados Marine Park is a renowned snorkeling destination near Coron town proper, featuring seven small islets with a rich marine life and biodiversity. The name 'Siete Pecados' translates to 'Seven Sins,' originating from the legend of seven sisters who drowned here, forming the present-day islets. Despite its eerie backstory, the park offers fascinating beauty and vibrant marine life.
This place is out of this world! I wouldn’t recommend it more. Feels like you’re inside of one ocean documentary!! We saw three turtles and soooo many starfish. The corals are beautiful and rich. Joel was our captain for the tour and he guided us inside of the water the whole time. He showed us the most beautiful places in Siete Pecados! Look for him during your day tour :) he’s awesome.
Marrie J — Google review
It is composed of 7 islands. Part of tour A , ultimate tour. This is a snorkeling site, great corals, there are also sea turtles here, and well maintained. No docking area where you can go down. Boat is just floating in the middle. Entrance fee is Php 150.
Audrey N — Google review
The best place to snorkel, 1000 peso for a boat rental and you get a helper who can help you find great places to snorkel. We got Vincent and he was amazing guide on where to find the best corals. Starfish, urchins, beautiful corals, name it and you have it here.
Auld S — Google review
Siete Pecados was one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever experienced. As soon as I plunged into its crystal-clear waters, I was surrounded by vibrant coral gardens and schools of fish weaving effortlessly through the currents. It felt like stepping into a hidden, living masterpiece—where the ocean itself tells stories through its beauty. The tranquility and sheer wonder of the place made me lose track of time, just floating, marveling at the underwater world beneath me. If you ever get the chance, dive in—you won’t regret it!
Manuel S — Google review
There's a beautiful reef so it's a great place for diving or snorkeling. No crowds, it's not touristy at all. I booked the tour on the same day and no waiting time.
Katarzyna S — Google review
Great snorkeling. Got to see many fish and even a turtle. Our boat captain and his son swam with us to make sure we were safe. We’re on the older side :).
James B — Google review
It was so beautiful here. We took the kayak by ourselves which was 250PHP per Person for 4 hours. We were mostly alone there and explored the small cave and did snorkeling. The coral reef was really beautiful and we also saw a turtle.
Michaela G — Google review
Spent 2 hours snorkelling here with friends on a private boat. Great experience with no crowds. Approx 300-400 pesos for snorkelling gear, boat, captain access FYI trikes from town cost 700-1000pesos return though… but driver will wait for you :)

Restaurant
Situated along the Coron-Busuanga Road, Kawayanan Grilling Station is a popular dining spot for tourists on Coron Island. The restaurant offers delicious and affordable dishes in a casual alfresco setting with wooden dining tables and thatched-roof huts. Known for its charcoal-grilled fish, seafood, and meats, it's a must-visit for those seeking authentic Pinoy specialties.
Our tricycle driver recommended this place for their soup. We went here a few times during our Coron visit. Food: good selection of Filipino food like sinigang, bicol express and grilled meats such as bbq pork skewers and liempo. Good pricing. Atmosphere: there are normal seats and elevated seating where you cross your legs beneath the table (in the photo).
Diana E — Google review
Kawayanan Grill was recommended to us by a friendly tricycle driver in Coron, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Meat Lover Group Set for ₱1,299. While the food wasn’t bad, the portion sizes—especially the lumpia—felt quite small for the price. The overall value didn’t quite match our expectations, as the meal felt a bit expensive compared to what we actually got. That said, the ambiance helped make up for it. The place has a relaxing, laid-back vibe—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Since we came on a weekday, it wasn’t crowded, which made the experience more chill and quiet. Overall, it was an okay experience—good atmosphere, decent food, but could be better value for money.
Edward H — Google review
Accommodating staffs!! They did their best to make our birthday surpirse for our friend happen 🤍 Delicious foods, great service, beautiful atmosphere. The staff smiled at us all throughout our stay there.
Rem M — Google review
We ordered the "Kawayanan couple set meal" for 750php as it has soup , appetizer, fish & stuffs and thought it was a complete set but unto our dismay the serving is not what we expected for its price. As seen in the picture we were given just 3 little shrimps, the soup is somehow just like "knorr soup" that we can buy in groceries. I dont know maybe I was just expecting too much as it was really hyped in the internet. Would not reccomend.
Cherry N — Google review
They are serving Coron’s Specialty. Not crowded and the food is good. Just ask the staff for the availability of Tamilol which is seasonal. Try and experience the Coron’s specialties.
Ariel V — Google review
Very pleasant and a good place, the staff are very friendly and attentive, the food is very tasty.
Duarte C — Google review
We loved the place! The atmosphere, the food, fair price and good size for the portions. We ordered pork sisig, kinilaw na isda and tortang talong, and loved them all, specially the sisig. Very recommended!
Olga M — Google review
Your typical filipino grillery house fair, in all honesty. The decor and atmosphere is on par with those in less commercial districts. This one has the edge of being near the tourist areas while being still adequately priced. Food is alright, considering there are numerous sub par places in the vicinity. Nothing to write home about in terms of quality. It did take a fair bit of time, despite us visiting off peak afternoon and they had just 3 other tables. Ambience leaves much to be desired. Its hot in some spots as the electric fans could only handle certain angles. And it seems some sections have more flies and mosquitos than others. Bringing a personal fan is recommended.

Coron Public Market

Market
On the morning of my fourth day in Coron, I found myself at the Coron Public Market due to heavy rain and canceled tours. Located conveniently near the jump-off point for tours, this market offers a variety of goods and food options. It's a bustling scene with fishermen bringing in their catch early in the morning. You can even have your fresh seafood cooked at nearby restaurants for a reasonable price.
There is an incredible variety of food here, from pork, to chicken, to every kind of seafood, to every kind of fruit and vegetable! If you want it, you can probably find it here. It's all fresh and ready to cook. Check out the pictures and videos.
Aaron R — Google review
The place is relatively small but is generally clean. We went here in the afternoon led by our trike driver who also recommended a stall for our pasalubong. The vendors were very kind and even handed us free tastes of their items. They offered lots of variety of cashew nuts and dried seafoods in a reasonable price. They also initiated and informed us that they would properly seal and pack them for us knowing we are tourists so it wouldn't smell in our bags. Very thankful for that!
Einz — Google review
I just went here to check it out, nothing special has a meat and fish section which really smells bad walking though lol . The next section is fruit and veg and they have other sections selling clothing, accessories etc.
Craig L — Google review
The local government should improve the place. Nothing has changed since the last time we were here 8 years ago, considering Coron is a tourist destination. To be honest the area was worse comparing last time. Adding to it, is inflation and prices aren’t the same anymore. The fish and meat are fresh though.
Jared M — Google review
I really love exploring wet markets and this place is no exception. I knew I would find and learn a lot of new fish here and I did! I suggest buying your pasalubong cashews here if you only want the plain ones. It's a bit cheaper than Melb's :) you can also buy dried fish here! They wrap it already in paper and packaging tape and make a cute bag with a handle with it ♡ The reason I rated it low was because the yero ceiling was so freaking low. It offered to insulated whatsoever from the heat. It felt like a sauna. The local government should fix it because the vendors and visitors are prone to heat stroke in that kind of heat.
Isabel B — Google review
A really fun place to visit for some authentic Filipino character in Coron. This market sells the catch from the local fisherman and lots of fresh vegetables (not so much fruits). It is interesting to see all the stalls and the products that people are selling. It is not too crowded with tourists. We did not buy anything as there is a strong smell in the whole market and the hygiene is not very good. Still, a nice place to visit!
Sam H — Google review
Still poor market witha lot of things of course but hope one days they can use clean table clean floor and fix the road plus fridge. Small price good for the locals
Sebastien M — Google review
The market is one you’d expect from a far flung island destination. You see fishermen bringing their catch at about 7 AM and they come and go. We’d wait for a good catch, and ask for the restaurant that can cook for you. At about 200 pesos a dish, they’ll cook it simple and nice. Just make sure you buy the veggies and condiments from the stall close by. I’ll post some photos of Tita who said yes to have our fish, shrimp, crab cooked for us. Just show a photo of sauteed or fried in case of communication probs….. we had to buy fresh fish and tons of veggies because we’re traveling with the old folks . They need low sodium fish diet….oh, and that stall we found is the oldest food vendor there. It’s not a glamorous stall but you buy all the ingredients (even oil) from a stall next to it and you know you’re getting the good stuff. He can also roast baby eggplants and fish. We are happy we found a great deal here and my parents are happy. No stomach issues. We are simply pleased…..

Great climb, takes only 10 minutes at an average speed. Beautiful view and scenery plus some cats once you make it all the way up. There no stores or bathrooms so bring water with you 😁
Maximillion — Google review
Beautiful view of the island from the top. There are 720 steps so get ready to sweat a little. Bring some water if you don’t want to buy it from the vendors on the way to the top that overcharge you, of course. We went for the sunset and it was amazing.
Elisabeth S — Google review
Went hiking at around 5:30 AM. We opted to take the sunrise rather than the usual sunset in Tapyas.Though both period are equally beautiful. Its about 700 steps to the top but there are resting areas.Locals normally jog to and from the mountain without a fuss.If you are not into so much physical activity and planning to hike it, please take precautionary measures. It does not have a mini store at the top so better bring your own water jug and of course your camera.
Bern H — Google review
100% worth the effort. The path to the view deck is made of concrete steps so no specific attire is required. Trail continues after the view deck, it's recommended to have sneakers or hiking shoes then.

Nice place to get fantastic view of Coron. Clean wide staircase with plenty benches to rest and catch a breath if you are not feeling your fittest that day. Nice workout up the stairs. It's better to come up in the morning though.

Mt. Tapyas is a great place to include on your itinerary when you go to Coron. It is just within the town itself so it is really accessible. Also, it is included on most travel packages for most travel and tours so don't worry. It took us 15 minutes to reach the top including all the stops we had, you all know... getting old guys. There are many kids selling products that are really usable if you go island hopping. The view of the sunset is just amazing. I have seen El Nido's sunset but this one is also great. With all the city's view topped up with clean skies and shining waters, you will also find this small hike a very interesting one. On our way down, we have seen that the cross was lit up. It was beautiful. There are also souvenir shops near the area so don't forget to drop by, too.
JC C — Google review
RVRA TIP: grab an ice candy from the boy waiting on top. It will help cool you down and give you the needed energy to complete your little hike. The views on top were fantastic. We went down all the way to the other side of the mountain because it was closer to our hotel. The hike was great except for the last portion where we had difficulties looking for the path so we went off road. But overall it was a fun experience.

Ramen Sakura in Coron, Palawan offers a taste of authentic Japanese ramen with its Tonkotsu soup, made from a blend of chicken bones, pork bones, onions, spices, and other ingredients boiled for over 24 hours. The original noodles add to the unique flavor. The restaurant imports ingredients from Japan to ensure an original taste experience for guests. While the interior could be more authentic to attract more customers, the food is highly praised and satisfying for ramen cravings while on vacation.
Delicious ramen! They have tabletop cat chopstick holders, which I found absolutely adorable. The owner was kind enough to tell me where to find them so I can get them for myself! The server was really friendly and accommodating, and he took the time to explain everything to us. Thank you!

Went to Coron last August. The price is too much for the quality of food that you get. I don’t know if we were just the unlucky group that day because the reviews are great on this ramen place but we were a bit disappointed after eating. It felt like we could’ve made a better bowl of ramen and rice bowl at our airbnb during our stay. They have great staff though!

I never thought I would stumble upon such an amazing ramen house on this island. The food was absolutely excellent—perfectly seasoned broth, tender noodles, and everything cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout our visit. Clean restaurant with aircon. Good Ramen, especially the creamy tonkusu - thick and flavors soup. Great service and they accept credit card!

This really reminds me of days in Japan, the food is very delicious, a portion of cold tea is served and typical Japanese drinks are on the menu. This is a good place to talk about trips to Japan or maybe think of going. You may forget for a moment that you're among beach themed bars on an island. It's also one of the good options when you dine a bit later as many restaurants closer at 22:00 Cards are accepted 👍🏻

I went to Ramen Sakura Japan, and this is the best service in this place so far, I was very pleasantly surprised. The owner is Japanese, a cool guy, said that he is a diver, so he opened a business here. I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen and a portion of sake (Japanese wine made from rice, but the preparation process is more like beer). In addition, they brought: 1. A pitcher of water 2. A pitcher of the drink Mugitsha (boiled wheat), a Japanese drink, tastes like Americano. It is often made from ginger. 3. An appetizer for sake - ginger strips, the Japanese call it "food for energy" 4. Gyoza - 1 piece, these are Japanese dumplings made of thin dough with pork and cabbage, garlic, ginger and green onions inside 5. Chili sauce to add spice to the ramen. 6. Standard spices The cat in the photo is a chopstick stand. The owner's name is Ben Saito, he is very good person

Buzz Express is a small eatery located in Coron town, known for serving some of the best burgers on the island. While prices may be higher than local standards, they take pride in using high-quality ingredients. The menu mainly consists of Western dishes, and the staff is accommodating and friendly. They offer smoothies, wraps, cakes, and homemade tacos with unique twists like papaya salsa. The portions are good for sharing and the dining area has air conditioning.
We loved the outdoor set up as we were the only ones in the veranda of the 2nd floor. We ordered pizza, shrimp aglio pasta and salad. The food were sumptous and the serving were big. A bit pricey, but it is worth the value. The best meal so far we had in the town of Coron Palawan. We had a supper yummy pizza filled much with seafoods on it. And their fish and chips. Quantity and Quality Wise. A must try restaurant to dine when you are visiting Coron Palawan.

When he heard dietary problems the chef immediately appeared and altered dishes to work. Very impressive and so was the staffs attention. Food was good, although labelled as spicy was inaccurate but nothing that fresh chilli couldn't fix. Interesting fish menu, but didn't try as had for lunch. The only issue was the vibe killer of multiple diners playing phone video games at max volume. Staff didn't seem to care. We left inside and sat outside with our drinks.

After a trip, we went here for dinner. Most of the items in their menu is western. The staff seems accommodating and friendly. They even offered to take our photo. We like the meat icon in the menu to make our choice easier. They don’t accept credit card but they accept cash and GCash. Serving size of food and prep time are decent. The dining area has AC inside. We didn’t notice if you can eat outside but there are several children who knocked on our window begging. We ordered classic Cuban sandwich and chicken teriyaki wrap. The wrap was dry so I asked for more sauce which they obliged. The French fries is not included in the mea but you can add P50 for them to include it. I think they should be part of the meal already to make the price of the meal worth it.

I come here for lunch. There are many people in here. We choose chicken steak sandwich and fish & chips. Sandwich is good, it's very juicy. But fish & chips is just not bad. Their some chips are soft, some is too hard. I don't know why? The fish they don't use catfish. Because almost all will use catfish. So, when you eat their fried fish, you will feel that it's not real fried fish. 😂 Anyway, the food are good, but price is too high in coron.

This is my most favorite place in Coron. I never failed to visit this place during my two trips to Coron this year. Their cafe is very comparable to the cafes in the big city, sometimes I think they can even do it better. The food can come a bit pricey but don't let it fool you. Their servings are all good for sharing! The food is delicious too. The staff are really, really nice. It's because of them that made me appreciate this restaurant even more. Shoutout to Samantha and to the other barista who kind of looks like Samantha! Will always come back to this place.

This place had some really good food but a bit pricey which is the reason for 4 stars vs 5. With that being said I would say the fruit smoothies are delicious (Masarap)! We ordered a garden pizza, Southern Burger, sweet potato fries were also super yummy. We tried every smoothie across several visits during our week vacation here and they were all delicious but I can say the one with bananas and mango I think honey as well this was our top pick. Grilled chicken was good, we also went prior to 11am when they only had breakfast. The omelette was okay and the sandwich wasn't as exciting as the other food so if you're looking for the lunch and dinner items go after 11am.

Restaurant
El Kuvo, located in Coron, draws inspiration from the traditional Filipino hut and offers a blend of rustic and modern ambiance. The restaurant features a diverse menu including pizzas, pastas, soups, salads, burgers, and kebabs. One of their popular dishes is the fusion chicken inasal kebab. Visitors praise the warm and inviting atmosphere as well as the selection of Asian and Western cuisine. Despite occasional busy periods leading to longer wait times for food, guests appreciate the attentive service.
We loved the vibes of this restaurant, it was homey and very relaxed. The staff were friendly and amazing, plus they are very attentive. Food was great and just perfect to our palate. Vegetarian options was a big PLUS! And was so happy that they serve cocktails as early as 11am. Not to mention and owners(father & son) were very friendly.
Edric R — Google review
First of all, every single food we ordered was great! The inasal is not the typical inasal style chicken you would taste in other restaurants, the food was presented very appealing, the sisig was great, not the manila kind of style of sisig, does not include mayonnaise nor egg. The mango sticky rice, it was glorious. The guilt of having a dessert after meal? Don't let it bother you, they used black rice as a substitute for the glutinous rice, which i think is a smart move. Taste wise, i think it does not differ really much, just the texture of the rice. The way it was presented was also really appetizing. Over all, this restaurant is really one of the best here in Coron.

A bit out of the way but plenty of seating didnt book managed to get a nice table outside even gave us a fan for our table of two great service from the onset meals were great pretty good value. Definitely should eat there if you’re in the area only a five minute walk from the hub of town coron

The food was tasty, though a little on the oily side, but overall really enjoyable. The restaurant itself has a great vibe — cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed dinner or a few drinks. The music and atmosphere make it a nice spot to unwind after a day of exploring Coron. Service was friendly and the presentation of dishes was good too. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a place with both good food and a nice ambiance.

Been here 4 times during our stay in coron. Loved it every time! Such yummy Filipino food and awesome opportunity to try foods we haven’t before. The tuna ceviche was a fave and the mango sago smoothie was the best! Came once just for the smoothie. Would recommend!

We dined here twice during our stay, and both meals were excellent. On our first visit, we tried the Atsuete Shrimp and the Chicken Inasal Kebab. The shrimps were impressively fresh and perfectly cooked in a flavourful, spicy atsuete sauce. The chicken inasal was tender, well-marinated, and carried a wonderful hint of lemongrass. We enjoyed it so much that we returned later in the week to try the Filipino-style satay and honey chicken, which were equally delicious and packed with authentic flavour. The dishes here are excellent, the portions generous, and the prices very reasonable. A must-visit spot in Coron for anyone who appreciates great food at fair value.

Fast food restaurant
McDonald's Coron is the only one on the island and offers a lovely menu compared to other locations. Visitors have enjoyed fast delivery with warm, reasonably priced food. The crew is friendly and the restaurant is consistently clean. While some may have had negative experiences, many find it difficult to fault this location.
We had the 2 piece chicken with rice and fries which was very good and the chicken burger which was just okay. The iced coffee was also good and the restaurant was very clean and the service was great. We love McDo!

First time trying spaghetti at McDonald's! It tasted not too bad, but the sauce was a little sweet. Fries tasted less salty and oily as compared to my home country. Fried chicken was good and very tasty!
Rachel Y — Google review
I had a solid experience at McDonald's in Coron! We got the cheesy burger McDo, which was delicious and hit the spot. I paired it with a vanilla iced coffee, and it had a lot of vanilla syrup. We also tried the vanilla ice cream cone, but it was more on the icy side compared to the creamier ones back home in the West. They also had good AC and seating, which made it a comfy place to relax. Overall, a great quick stop for some familiar comfort food!

The ONLY location in Coron… so it was extremely busy. But got our food pretty quickly. This location was absolutely terrible. Less than an hour after eating here my whole family got sick in the stomach… insane runs and just wasn’t feeling well the rest of the evening. Stay away from there fried chicken. Most breading and wasn’t very good. Play-place isn’t the cleanest. Stick to Angoks down the street for your fried chicken fix! Definitely not returning!!🤬

Like most of the McDonald's outlets. Food is the same, but the service and the cleaning is much better than the one in cebu that I went. Auto ordering station is working and accept electronic money. Ser ice staff is very helpful and there is always a man cleaning the place. Highly recommended!

I'm really grateful to Rose (evening shift) who helped me to have a really nice experience because of my request in the order. I know how hard is to work in hospitality, and she does great, she was really patient and helpful. I hope the managers know how lucky they are to have someone in the team like her.

Much better than the one in El Nido and also much better than the jollibee down the street. All the food was good. No free gravy but it’s only P10 for extra and they give you 2 pots!

Bodies of Water
Twin Lagoon is a must-visit destination in Coron, Philippines. It's part of island hopping tours and offers a unique experience. Visitors can enter the lagoons through a small cave or climb a ladder over the top. The lagoons feature a mix of salt and fresh water that creates an intriguing natural oil slick effect underwater.
Love this one, we were the only ones there for a bit so it felt like a lagoon paradise. The second bit is harder to get to, you either go through a tunnel at low tide (wasn’t there when we went), or go up and down a steep set of very dodgy ladders/steps. There is not much room so you have to go one by one. Once the crowds came it was really hard to leave as people kept on coming down into the second lagoon. There are jet streams of warm water in the lagoon as well which was cool. Saw lots of people kayaking but to be honest it’s better being in the water.

I'm pretty sure there is a vortex around here. My drone got pulled towards the rocks and lost camera footage. luckily I pulled it off by return to home button. Nice and mysterious place thou.

A relaxing lagoon that we visited duting our tour. It has a picturesque view that visitors will definitely enjoy and relax. While visiting this place, a boat will be provided which can carry up to two people. The natural view is amazing which is not common in other places. The waters are calm and the weather is not too hot because of the large rocks surrounding the lagoon. Tour guides are also helpful when visiting the place as they can take photos or even help with moving the boat to the other lagoon.

Part of island hopping tours of Coron Islands (inside calamian group of islands). The island is Part of tour B and ultimate tour. Best if you have kayak here, kayaking and swimming area as well. Good for family. It has a great view! You should visit this if youre going to coron since this is one of highlights of the tour. Entrance fee is Php 200. Well maintained. You can snorkel and swim here. Water is warm and cold. Brackish water

Twin Lagoon in Coron, Palawan, is a stunning attraction with two beautiful lagoons connected by limestone cliffs. Visitors can swim or kayak between the lagoons, enjoying the clear, calm waters and scenic views. A small grocery store nearby offers drinks and light snacks. It's a recommended spot for those looking to explore and relax in nature.

Am amazing place for it's after beauty. What a lot of people don't realize, sadly, is the vast amount of dead coral that seems to have been blasted by dynamite fishing😢. Nonetheless, there still decent coral cover despite the destruction. Drone pics look awesome!

Enjoy and forget everything else, take a kayak, go for a swim and do some snorkeling. The environment is absolutely stunning.
LP L — Google review
This is one of the most visited places in Coron by boat tour. You have the option to rent a kayak and paddle from one lagoon trough a small opening in the rocks to the second lagoon. With the kayak you can see more of the lagoons and even the Green Lagoon (or hidden lagoon) on the other side, otherwise swimming all these distances would be a bit too long and hard with all the shallow coral reefs. The Twin Lagoon is very beautiful with its contrast of blue water against these very high rocks. Definitely a place worth a visit!

Bodies of Water
Kayangan Lake, located in Coron, Palawan, is a picturesque mountain lake renowned for its clear waters and stunning beauty. Surrounded by impressive limestone cliffs, this crystal-clear freshwater lake has gained internet fame due to its iconic appearance in travel photos. Despite being a popular tourist spot visited as part of tours, it remains a must-see destination. Although it may not offer solitude due to the influx of tour groups, the experience is still remarkable and provides an opportunity to meet new people.
Kayangan Lake offers the famous Coron view, but to get there, you’ll need to hike 360 steps half going up and half going down. The trail can be a bit slippery, and the stones are sharp, though wooden stairs have been installed to make the ascent easier. The view at the top is absolutely worth the effort. Along the way, the tour guide will pay a local fee for tourists, and as visitors, it's important to respect and follow the area's rules. You'll also encounter some dogs along the path while they are used to people, they can be a little intimidating, so be cautious, and hopefully, the owner will be nearby. Locals also sell drinks and snacks, so it’s a good idea to bring money in case you'd like to purchase something. Kayangan Lake's water is 70% fresh and 30% seawater, so be mindful while swimming. Always stay close to your tour guide for safety, as the area is considered sacred by some locals who believe in spirits, or "engkanto," that protect the place. Avoid venturing too deep, especially since it's not entirely seawater, and you may not be able to ascend as quickly, similar to Barracuda Lake.

Very nice lake. Cool boardwalk leading up to the beach and the bottom of the staircase. There’s a map that shows you the rest of the island (I love a good map), and key points of note like where to see giant octopus. Stairs up and down (~350 altogether). It’s not that bad. Stairs leading down to the lake are a bit more carved out than the ones leading up to the nice lookout. Go early and you won’t be swimming with many people. We were there at 7:45am and barely saw anyone.

This is is a very nice place to visit while on Coron Island. It is part of a tour you can do while staying in Coron. You get to see amazing views and also a cave after you climb appropriately 100 steps. I would recommend visiting this as part of your stay.

If you're looking for one of the clearest lakes in the world, Kayangan Lake in Coron is a must-see. Surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and crystal-blue water, it feels like stepping into a postcard. You can swim, snorkel, or just float and take it all in—pure paradise! 🏝️✨

Kayangan Lake, Coron: Where Nature's Masterpiece Meets My Heart's Canvas Kayangan Lake in Coron isn't just a destination; it's an experience etched into the very core of my travel memories. Often lauded as the "cleanest lake in the Philippines" and a poster child for Palawan's unparalleled beauty, it lives up to every bit of its reputation and then some. For me, it's a place where the grandeur of nature truly humbled and captivated, leaving an indelible mark. I can still vividly recall the boat ride through the towering limestone karsts, their jagged forms rising majestically from the turquoise sea, hinting at the wonders to come. The anticipation built with every gentle sway of the boat. Then came the short, somewhat challenging climb up the wooden steps, a small effort that was rewarded tenfold. Reaching the viewpoint at the top, the iconic panorama of Kayangan Lake unfurled before my eyes. It was even more breathtaking than any photograph could capture. The deep emerald green of the lake, nestled amongst the dramatic cliffs, felt like a secret gem revealed, perfectly reflecting the sky like a giant, pristine mirror. But the true magic began when I descended into the lake itself. The water, a mix of 70% freshwater and 30% saltwater, was incredibly clear – so clear that you could see the intricate underwater rock formations, almost like a lunar landscape beneath the surface. Donning a life vest (a mandatory and sensible precaution), I plunged in. The initial coolness of the water was invigorating, and then the pure joy of simply floating, surrounded by such surreal beauty, washed over me. I remember swimming slowly, observing the shafts of sunlight piercing the water, illuminating the otherworldly formations below. It was a moment of profound tranquility, a feeling of being utterly at peace with the world. More than just the visual spectacle, Kayangan Lake holds memories of simple, yet profound, experiences. The laughter shared with travel companions as we navigated the wooden walkways, the quiet moments spent just observing the small fish darting about, and the sheer awe of being in such a perfectly preserved natural wonder. It's also a place where you truly appreciate the efforts of the Tagbanua indigenous people, the guardians of this sacred place, who have meticulously maintained its pristine condition. Their respect for nature is palpable, and it adds another layer of appreciation to the experience. Yes, Kayangan Lake can get crowded, especially during peak season. But even amidst the throngs of visitors, there are always pockets of calm, moments to find your own slice of serenity. It's a place that demands you put down your phone (after getting those obligatory, stunning photos, of course!) and simply be present. Kayangan Lake is more than just a beautiful swimming spot; it's a testament to the raw, untamed beauty of Palawan. It's a memory I revisit often, a reminder of a time when I felt truly connected to the natural world, and a place that continues to inspire wanderlust and a deep appreciation for our planet's hidden wonders. It will forever be one of the brightest jewels in my collection of travel memories.

Island
Coron Island is a rugged and captivating destination known for its popular dive sites, including WWII shipwrecks, caves, and reefs. The island features pristine lakes such as Barracuda and Kayangan, offering clear mixed fresh and saltwater environments with visible thermoclines and abundant aquatic life. Surrounded by tiny white sand beaches, limestone cliffs, and extensive reefs for snorkeling, the island is managed sustainably by an indigenous tribe to prevent pollution.
Coron is must see in the Philippines please have your trip managed by some who know the area. We stayed at the Zuri Resort, I recommend this place.

Lagoons, lakes, coral reef, water so clear it is unbelievable. Snorkeling the Reef was amazing. Beautiful fish and coral. Tropical escape on a private tour. Includes Barracuda lake, hot lunch and soft drink or water. Tour guide, boat pilot, deck hand, 5-6 destinations. You're gonna love it! P.S. The coral shown in these pics of this particular review is NOT the coral you will see if you snorkel the reef. The Reef is much nicer! Have fun!
Ed S — Google review
One of the most beautiful islands we visited and is rich of natural resources and clear waters. We loved the place as the islands, coral reefs and lakes were protected and well maintained even with the number of tourists visiting the place. The trip going to the airport could take a few hours which is a hassle and we even noticed how restaurants/cafes are expensive because of how high their service charge is. This is the best place to do island hopping, snorkeling or even diving which is best for adventurous people. The people are kind and tour guides were full of energy making our experience more fun. The place might be difficult for the elderly, persons woth disability and children because of how tiring the activities can be. Staying on the town proper can also be a bit boring as there is not much to see. That is why it is best for island tours.

Coron Island in the Philippines is a breathtaking paradise that left me in awe. As a tourist, I was amazed by its crystal-clear turquoise waters, dramatic limestone cliffs, and hidden lagoons. Kayangan Lake, with its unbelievably clear water, was a highlight of my trip. Snorkeling and diving around vibrant coral reefs and World War II shipwrecks was an unforgettable experience. This was our last stop in our Super Ultimate Coron tour. It’s plainly a beach, with some mangrove trees on one side, and plenty of other tourists basking under the sun or swimming in the shallow shores. Banul Beach is a small, secluded white sandy island beach in Coron that's popular with boat trippers and snorkelers. We visited this beach during one of the boat tours from Coron (Nice in Paradise), but there are many other operators who visit this place. It is generally used as a place to eat lunch under the shaded tables. You have great views over the white sandy beach and the rock as a back wall. It was a bit busy when we first got there with 2 other tour boats being there/ they didn’t stay for long and then we had the place to ourselves to take stunning photos and eat lunch and have some coconuts on the beach (50 pesos)

This wasn't originally a part of our itinerary, but because we couldn't go to the places we were supposed to go to, we had to come here for lunch. I know this ain't the best beach in the area, but I loved it! It's a great place to swim and have lunch. They also have a mini store here from where you can buy some snacks and drinks.

Nice beach for a stopover. I came there twice One for just a beach stop before sunset with a private boat and it was nice. Not crowded low tide and the water is clear. Visit again during high tide for lunch in coron ultimate tour and it was surrounded by a trillion flies and mosquitoes. I got bitten all over the place

Two Seasons Coron Island Resort

Resort hotel
Two Seasons Coron Island Resort is a luxurious retreat located on Bulalacao Island, just a short boat ride away from Coron Town. The resort offers relaxed bungalows with beachfront locations, king-size beds, and flat-screen TVs. Guests can upgrade to Sandbar Bungalows for added amenities like plunge pools and private verandas with unobstructed island views. The resort also features a restaurant, spa, and beach bar for guests to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.
It was my first time vacationing in Coron, and I stayed at Two Seasons Resort for 4 days . The service was really good, the room was clean and comfortable, the whole place was well taken care of. You can snorkel right off the beach and already see some small marine life — pretty amazing! The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, a great place to unwind. I had a lovely time and made some great memories. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey.

A 46 keys eco-friendly luxury boutique resort that you just can't get enough of! Timely airport pickup, comfortable drive to private pier, private boat transfer to a secluded island, royal welcome..... Wait; this is just the beginning:) The staff welcomed us on the resort island pier and quickly cleared our luggage too. Warmly welcomed in the lobby again with a shells garland, chill welcome drink and in a jiffy orientation and check-in done. Escorted to our Mountain Bungalow on a buggy, we entered for abode for the next 5 days. Pure bliss...... Large bungalow, wooden flooring, wooden outer deck, king size bed with excellent mattress and linen that ensured great sleep every time. Amenities are good and plastic free to ensure everything that the resort does is eco-friendly, L'Occitane en Provence toiletries in refillable fixed caniters too. RO water is provided and topped up free with just a call. One kitchen on the property to fulfill the 3 dining areas - Main Restaurant, Bar and your room :) Large menu with everything freshly prepared with lots of local Filipino dishes that we absolutely loved. The beach is stunningly beautiful to swim, walk around, just adore and you shouldn't miss snorkeling in their house reef! Amazing water clarity with lots of lively coral and plentiful aquatic life. The pool is of fresh water and the best part that it's divided into segments of 2 ft, 4 ft, 5 ft and 6 ft as well as a swim up bar with jacuzzi. You can lap here, play with kids or drink you favorite mix in the pool! Also in the resort is a chapel built in 1970 and recently refurbished which is affiliated to the main church in Coron Town, so peaceful indeed. Service throughout the property is absolutely fantastic, so cordial, so accommodating, so cheerful, FABULOUS! To the team at Two Seasons Coron Island & Resort, a big thanks for making our stay truly memorable and keep up the good work!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Two Seasons Coron Island Resort! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My husband and I stayed at Two Seasons Coron Island Resort from October 11th to 17th to celebrate our one-year anniversary, and it was truly one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we’ve ever visited. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by pristine turquoise waters, lush nature, and total tranquility. The resort is incredibly clean, quiet, and perfect for both couples and families looking for a peaceful escape. We stayed in a villa with a plunge pool, which made our stay feel even more private and romantic. The food was absolutely amazing — every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. The snorkeling was incredible, and the private tours offered were among the best experiences we’ve had anywhere. Coron itself is breathtaking, and being able to explore it in such comfort made the trip unforgettable. What truly made our stay special, though, was the amazing staff. Every single person went above and beyond to make us feel at home. A heartfelt thank you to Anthony, Real, Joey, Carl, Dexton, Petter, Melvin, Rico, Jabes, and Evan — your warmth, kindness, and attention to detail made our experience extraordinary. A special shoutout to Noni from the tours, who made every excursion so memorable and fun! We were also lucky with the weather — despite visiting in the shoulder season, we had sunshine every single day and not a drop of rain. Two Seasons Coron is a true paradise. Peaceful, beautiful, and run by the most wonderful people. We can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I stayed in a casita room, which was spacious and well-equipped with amenities. Our only concern was the glass balcony—at night, birds and animals frequently collided with it, creating loud noises that woke us up. We also felt terrible for the birds. Adding visible strips or markers to the glass could help prevent this and make it safer for wildlife. I wasn’t particularly impressed with the breakfast. While I understand the challenges of sourcing fresh ingredients on a remote island, the menu could be better tailored to the location. For example, using canned vegetables like mushrooms and olives in the omelet affected the quality. Additionally, many of the main course options leaned too heavily on the sweet side. It was also disappointing that tuna—listed on several menu items—was unavailable during our entire stay (most if not all ingredients are sourced from Manila) Overall, I believe the kitchen would benefit from reimagining the menu to reflect what’s locally available, with a focus on sustainability and efficiency in sourcing. This could lead to fresher, higher-quality food that better suits the environment and guest expectations.

Their customer service is well-though, deliberate, and intentional. They will leave with almost nothing else to ask. They have all concerns covered. Just one bold example of this is the water dispenser in the villa making sure guests are well hydrated and no need to worry about where to get one of guests’ basic necessities. Staffs are the very definition of proactiveness and each one knows their role so well. They make sure that their scope is well covered. You know those game NPCs full of information and detailed explanations — make them proactive and you get the Two Seasons treatment. We get information that we certainly need without even asking. The resort is well integrated with the nature. We had great encounters with several kinds of animals during our stay. Plants and trees everywhere— even the fruit bearing ones. Two Seasons proactiveness comes into play again by providing mosquito repellent sachets preparing us for nature’s flying critters. This integration comes not without its downside. There are cellular dead spots and even the provided TV’s antenna channels’ signal is intermittent. To compensate to this, WIFI signal is very reliable. All these concerns are covered by a sincere letter coming from the management. Food is available in room and in their in-house restaurant SULU serving a good variety of mainly local with some entries from international. Serving size is also very generous. Overall, our stay is definitely our live’s intentional slowing down. Just relaxing, taking our time, and one with nature. Parents had fun. Kids had fun. It’s a win.

The place is very well kept and modern relative to a nearby "club", 51 kms away 😅. The staff are really very nice, amenities are superb and the food! You come here for the food. Your orders come, relatively, faster too. For those who like to drink, walang happy hour, 2 kinds of local beer, most of the drinks are pricey. 😅🍻 Friendly advise, if you want your alcohol inventory to move... Happy hour is the key. The "club" offers 50% off on all cocktails during that time, just saying. Trying snorkeling was initially sad, there was nothing to see until the local guide showed a spot near the buoy markers. There is a fairly decent sized coral garden full of clams and fish. Another choice would be booking for an island hop, which is also pretty steep.😆 The beach is really good too if you can't swim that far. The pool is pleasant. Gets pretty dark at night. The pool lights are red and not the brightest, some need fixing too. A pool area update would be awesome. Connectivity is excellent, more so for remote work applications. Globe ako, walang signal! 😣Their speed was adequate with no limits to the device you can connect, well, we had 5. Okay naman.

I recently stayed at Two Seasons Coron for four nights and had a generally wonderful experience. As expected from Filipino hospitality, the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating—always ready with a smile and eager to assist. The location is stunning, offering easy access to Coron’s natural beauty, and the rooms are comfortable with well-maintained amenities that make for a relaxing stay. However, the food options could use some improvement. While the quality was decent, the limited variety made the menu feel repetitive over a four-night stay. A bit more diversity and creativity in the culinary offerings would enhance the overall guest experience. On a more somber note, I visited Coron a decade ago, and it was disheartening to witness the dramatic change in its once-vibrant coral reefs. The colorful underwater world that once teemed with life is now largely dulled and degraded. While some damage is undoubtedly due to natural factors, the more significant impact has clearly been caused by human activity and overexploitation of this precious ecosystem. If Coron—and Palawan more broadly—is to continue being a destination of ecological wonder, tighter regulations must be enforced. Tourists should be made to sign agreements to observe but not touch, and local authorities need to ramp up protection measures. We are stewards of this natural beauty, and we owe it to future generations to allow our reefs the time and space to heal. I sincerely hope to return in the future and see signs of regeneration and responsible tourism taking root. The Philippines has been gifted with some of the most extraordinary marine biodiversity in the world—it’s worth the protection.

The stuff is super friendly, they have nice amenities and the hotel is beautiful. However, they Drinks are awful, they did not make one single drink right. The food, omg, the food is sad. The only think it is okay is the friend chicken. The rest is so so restless, it really sad. The breakfast is small, and test less too. As you are in the middle of a island, it is sad because you can not eat anywhere else. And the food is expensive for the bad quality.

A well-known street-side barbecue in Coron offers a variety of grilled-meat skewers, sizzling dishes, pasta, and vegetable kebabs. The place is popular for its live music and BBQ smoke in the evenings. It's centrally located in Coron proper and provides easy accessibility. Customers appreciate the affordable prices and good quality food such as inihaw na liempo and garlic butter shrimp.
This was our first meal in Coron. We were drenched from the hot spring but they still accommodated us. There was a live band when we came, the place was half packed. What we really loved is the price point; affordable but really good quality stuff - inihaw na liempo and garlic butter shrimp supremacy. Servers were nice but just too many servers were taking orders so it might be kinda confusing. It is centrally located in Coron proper. Accessibility was a plus; rode a trike for only P50 going to Sunlight Hotel. There were a lot in queue even though it was getting late already.

The service was great. Got to pick our own fish to eat from the live tank. The fish came out great. The shrimp was good. The vegetables were good. Unfortunately the chicken was way overcooked. Other than that it was a pleasant experience. Those who complain about prices are cheap as we paid 50 dollars (usd) including a tip of 8 dollars. This was for 4 plates of food (and 3 drinks) right next to a high traffic port which is the tourist attraction of this neighborhood. More like a bargain. Just fry your wings a little less 🤣😂
Duvin R — Google review
Despite all the reviews about cold food and slow service, we had decent service and our food was definitely hot and tasted great, no stomach issues either. Sisig was good, prawns were good, squid was great, grilled fish was good. We had to grab a different server sometimes to get more beers, but it's a very crowded and busy restaurant so I think it's funny that people have expectations of fine dining. This is the Philippines, not America... There are other places with better food, but Island Boy has an energetic feel, live music, and a mix of people.
Max S — Google review
They have wide range of dishes that would suit your taste buds. From fresh from tank seafoods to their breakfast meals, shakes, and other dessert. I highly commend their customer service. I would definitely visit this place once I go back to Coron.
Lea S — Google review
Worst food we ate in Coron. Ordered buttered garlic curacha and buttered garlic sea mantes but tasted like garlic water, no hint of butter at all and when I asked if I could have some melted butter they said they couldn't give us any. Ordered 2 big oysters and my 2 kids took a little bite but since it tasted bad they didn't even finish half of one. The next day they got food poison. And we know it was from the oyster since they were the only ones who tasted it. Overpriced, too loud band and bland food. Not worth the money and the trouble.
Redge F — Google review
The food wasn't really anything special, you can get these kind of food in Manila at a better quality and lower prices. The prices of the foods were not worth the price for the taste it gives. Food was extremely bland and definitely something I would not find myself eating when hungry. Service was pretty fine attendant was cheerful and proactive when seating us at a table. Although I give the service a 4/5 rating since some of the waiters were just horsing around and not very attentive on the customers needs. Atmosphere was very "squammy" the customers were not being controlled in the environment and giving other customers an uncomfortable time. Management should have proper house rules at hand to keep the ambience soothing and not something that can be found inside a wet market.

We had a really nice experience at Island Boy Grill. It's not in the town center, but a 10 minuts walk, wich makes it nice. The place is big, with a very filipino atmosphere: wooden benches, bamboo celling and acacia tables. When we went, there was live music, not very loudy (at the end tables at least). Food was good. We went for easy dishes, like filipino spagetii and seafood pancit, but I would recomend going for the fish (red or white lapu lapu) and seafood (crab, mantis lobster, regular lobster), as it is so fresh. We are going to repeat for sure.
Àlex G — Google review
Lovely seafood place right on the port. Live and large variety of fresh fish in tanks. Opted for the chilli lobster which was fantastic. Not really cheap however was worth the treat!

Day 3

Visit Malcapuya Island
For day 3, stop by Malcapuya Island in the morning to start off your day. Then, if time permits, visit Bulog Dos Island as well. If you end up going to all 6, that should fill up about 8 hours.

Malcapuya Island is a serene and picturesque destination known for its stunning white-sand beach lined with coconut trees and clear aqua waters, perfect for snorkeling. It is often considered the highlight of island-hopping tours in the area, along with Bulog Dos and Banana Island, due to its breathtaking scenery and pristine surroundings. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as basketball, beach volleyball, swimming, hiking, or simply relaxing in a hammock.
Amazing you should try not to miss this One negative note: the beach was very dirty and full of plastic garbage. Local communities should be more proactive in cleaning !!!! It’s not tourism responsibility because most of the garbage is left by local workers / guides. That’s very unfortunate

This place is great. Beautiful white sandy beaches, quite long. There are a few small eating places for fruit juices and shakes and baked banana with caramel. I recommend all of those. There are tables and chairs and also a toilet. It's not too full with tourists. A must go place for anyone visiting Coron.

We went there with the Island Escapade Tour, it was the most crowded spot but still okay compared to other places in El Nido or Coron. The beach and the water are absolutely incredible, we even saw 2 turtles close to the beach. There is a little shop for buying smoothies.

Malcapuya Island is a true slice of paradise with its powdery white sand and calm turquoise waters. 🏝️ It’s about 1.5 hours by boat from Coron town, but the scenic ride is worth it. The beach here is wide and uncrowded, perfect for swimming or just lounging under the shade of coconut trees. There are basic cottages and a small store, but no electricity or fancy amenities — just raw, stunning nature. This was definitely the highlight of our Coron island hopping trip!

I stayed here overnight and did stargaze. It was absolutely stunning!🤩 There were full of stars in the sky. This island is a private island so you need to ask the owner for permission. There was solar power electricity so it was a bit blight but it is worth to stargaze😎

Favourite island on Island Escapade tour with JY tours . Perfect white soft sand , clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkelling . We saw giant clams . Good amount of shaded areas for sitting , and a small shop for beer and snacks , fresh coconut water

Very scenic beach far away for main island. We took the island escape tour and the tour is really worth it. White fine sand, clear water and can see fishes swimming around.
Joseph G — Google review
Just wow! The place was breath-taking. It was noon when we arrived at the island and there were some tourists but not really crowded. Beach shore was clean (thank you for the locals and tourists for keeping this place clean). There were already some fish swimming at the shallowest part of the water. There were huts/cabanas available for free to put your stuff or if you just want to hide from the sun 😁. There was a small store which offered Turon, refreshment drinks (softdrinks or fresh coconut juice) and other snacks. Some merchants were selling authentic south sea pearls ( harvested from the pearl farm near the island). Price of the pearl jewelry were from 2000 to 8000 pesos. What I liked about them was that they were happy to show their trade but they were not insistent that you buy one from them. Very polite. Of the 3 islands we visited that day -- this was my favorite. Wished we could have stayed there the longest. Sadly we only had an hour. Our Kuya tour guide told us that the island was bought by Boracay Regency. So once they start the development, this will be off to non-paying public.. So if you're planning to go to Coron anytime soon, make sure to include this island in your itinerary

Islands
Bulog Dos Island, located in the Malaroyroy Peninsula near Bulalacao, is a popular stop for island-hopping tours in Coron. Visitors can walk on a sandbar and enjoy breathtaking tropical views. The island features pristine white sands, clear turquoise waters, and colorful marine life. Despite its remote and undeveloped nature, it offers stunning natural beauty. A short climb to the top of a small cliff provides magical panoramic views of the surrounding private islands and crystal-clear waters.
A day long visit to just three islands. And as a private trip before the more crowded join a group boats arrival meant there was just 4 people across several strips of stunning white sand beach and seas of multiple shades of blue on Bulog Dos. Picture perfect with opportunity to stroll around, except the stretch of private beach, and have a relaxing swim.

This is not a report from a sour grape...it is simply the bare facts and truth that I myself and hundreds of other foreign tourist have experienced recently about the terrible destinations being pushed by local authorities in Coron Palawan! Be aware that several islands are being included in an island hopping tour from Coron. One of those islands is Bulog Dos Island. You have the option of taking a group island hopping tour for 1,900 pesos each, (about 20 people per group). Or take a private tour for 5,000 pesos per person. The organizers will tell you it is about an hour and half travel time, one way, to the first island in the tour, but the truth is it will take every bit of 2 hours plus! Then after paying 10,000 pesos for a private tour for two people traveling 2 hours in a pump boat, you arrive at Bulog Dos. The second island in the tour is nothing more than a sand bar, (Ditaytayan Island), and the third island is a local garbage dump, (Malcapuya Island). Now don't get me wrong...on Bulog Dos there is a very small, narrow stretch of white sand and the water was amazingly beautiful...(like hundreds, if not thousands of other beaches in Coron)...but other than that, there is absolutely NOTHING at this island! OK...let me get this straight...I paid 10,000 pesos for two people to sit on a hard wooden seat in a little pump boat, for more than two hours of travel, (one way), passing up dozens and dozens of other beautiful beaches with great swimming and snorkeling just to go to Bulog Dos Island and find absolutely nothing there, along with stops at a sand bar and a trash dump...nothing special, no great views, no special attractions, nothing...just places to stop and swim next to all the dead trees and trash for large amounts of money paid? An island hopping tour is supposed to be a small group of islands with special or unique destinations or attractions that offer one of a kind memories...not just another swimming hole Don't be a victim!!!!! There is nothing wrong with island hopping tours but in my vastly experienced travel around the World, Bulog Dos was the most worthless island destination of all time!!!!! The people who operate this island will probably not like this review...but I tell the truth no matter how painful it might be!

This island located in Coron along with the bigger island is famous for its clean beaches and it's pure waters and is also home to some well known resorts such as two seasons resorts and it's great when you want to relax but keep that in mind that the stay here is very expensive about 24K pesos per night so it's not good for the people who on a budget but there are some areas of the island that have resorts that cost less. This is part of the island hopping tourist package which include seeing a couple more tourist attractions but the boat is pretty noisy (recommended to bring your own noise cancellers ) and to enjoy the beauty of Coron Overall the place is nice for relaxing in the waters and enjoy the beaches but not for budget trips (recommended to go to cheaper beaches

Visit during low tide so you can see the sand bar. The island itself if beautiful and perfect for picturel taking. Theres a viewing deck up the hill to capture the scenery. We did some swimming here and enjoy the sandbàr.

You can walk from the Two Seasons Resort. The entrance fee is 200 pesos, but they don't ask for it, but if you ask for it, you will get it. The atmosphere of similar islands in many countries is similar, but it is different and better when you visit again. I hope it is not developed. Aqua shoes are essential. It is a resort of healing and killing.

This island is so beautiful with white sandy beaches, a beautiful sandbar, crystal clear water . Really a paradise island by itself. This is almost 2 hour by boat from the main island of Coron. My family rented a tour boat and its nice because you have your own schedule . When we went there there's pretty much not a lot of people. We snorkeled and the water was so clear and a lot of fish and corals. Our tour guide even prepared our lunch for us with fresh seafood and vegetables typical Filipino dish. A beautiful island worth visiting when you're in Coron, Palawan, Philippines..

Nice beach spot (duh!). The nice thing about this beach is that there are some nice additions for taking photos like strategically placed benches and swings. The snorkeling was also enjoyable as well, though nothing to write home about.

Sunlight Ecotourism Island Resort is a luxurious retreat located in Culion, Palawan, just a short boat ride away from Coron town. The resort boasts polished accommodations, including Maldives-inspired villas set over the water with Filipino interiors and balconies offering stunning ocean views. Set on an 18-acre property, the resort features an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the sea, a spa for relaxation, and private beach access.
We had such an amazing experience with Sunlight Resort. It has a lot of amenity for our enjoyments. I feel very welcome by every single staff while being there. Butler Sam did a fantastic job to take care of us, and provided us with everything we needed in a timely manner. The spa is also great; I got the deep tissue massage and the combination massage; Agnes is the best!! I’d also recommend Filipino food, so good! Overall great time here. I’d come back to this resort.

Very respectfull and accommodating staff. Special mention to Mr. Mekoy who afforded us all our needs and requests that made our stay very enjoyable. Food is good. Be sure to make advance order so you can enjoy the food as soon as you arrived in the resto. Very fastastic view of the sorrounding island and calm seas from the veranda. Enjoyed swimming in the company of school of coral fish. Romantic sunset. Ideal place for nature lovers. Highly recommended for people longing for calm and serenity.

Overall, our stay was exceptionally pleasant. The Island resort's stunning beauty and exceptional Butler service exceeded our expectations. Dexter Mestiola demonstrated incredible professionalism and attentiveness, consistently anticipating our needs. They ensured seamless buggy service, provided insightful information about the Island's history, and drove us around the Island, always going above and beyond. Their pleasant demeanor and warm smiles made us feel truly pampered. We have never felt so well taken care of in our room, and the staff's exceptional service left us delighted. The staff were generally very helpful and polite, and we appreciate the efforts of Agnes and Joana in the sanctuary and spa. Our room was spacious and modern, and while the food was very good, the limited restaurant options were understandable given the low season. This resort is an excellent choice, and with some minor improvements, it could reach even greater heights.

🌞 5/5 Stars – A Perfect Getaway at Sunlight Resort! Our stay at Sunlight Resort was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and excellent service. The resort is beautifully maintained — the rooms are spotless, spacious, and offer stunning views. We loved how peaceful and relaxing the atmosphere was. The pools and beach areas were clean and inviting, perfect for both fun and relaxation. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was another highlight — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast by the sea or dinner under the stars, every meal felt special. Overall, Sunlight Resort truly lives up to its name — bright, warm, and full of positive energy. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a refreshing escape. We can’t wait to come back! 🌴✨

Sunlight Ecotourism Island Resort is truly a dream destination for honeymooners. The whole place is so peaceful that it felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. Our over-water villa gave us the most relaxing experience — waking up to the sound of the ocean was unforgettable. Customer service was consistently great and impressively fast. Every staff member we met was friendly, warm, and always ready to help. The resort also offers delicious food, a soothing spa experience, and a variety of fun water activities to enjoy. We also appreciate how environmentally friendly the entire place is. It’s clean, well-maintained, and nature is beautifully preserved. Overall, our stay felt like home — calm, intimate, and truly special. Highly recommended.

From first to last step in the island, everything’s feels like total paradigm shift - all started with excitement and joy. The bond between memebers of the group was tugging towards oneness and strong camaraderie were much pronounce. The whole staffs of Sunlight resort were very accomodating, helful with sense of responsibility maybe geared with effective leadership and management. The food was fantastic, rooms were clean and completely furnished with jacuzzi with it’s unique and relaxing ambiance facing west open water. Mountains sorounds and protecting the resort and attractive Salepan Villas. Below down the glass floor at Jacuzzi side is perfect that one can experience watching the clean, clear sea water and fish freely moving - a true relaxation as I fall to sleep during the massage service that adds to my unique experience. It was totally great and amazing 3D2N stay!

It’s incredible here. The people who work here are so wonderful and really take great care of their guests. Butler Sam took care of us in Salepan 29 and it was a perfect relaxing vacation. Nothing was too much trouble for Sam and he is so thoughtful and kind for everything we could possibly need.. We’re so grateful to him for making our stay so relaxing and easy. The spa is another highlight. Agnes welcomed us and pampered us with expertise and care. Kind and friendly. We can recommend the Coconut Ginger Scrub, Signature Massage, Foot Massage, Mini Facial and The Deep Tissue Massage. The snorkelling at the beach is incredible with so much variety of coral and reef life fish. A highlight was seeing a lion fish shyly coming out from under the coral.

I’d like to share some honest feedback regarding our recent stay at Sunlight. First, I want to sincerely thank your on-site team — especially Dexter and Jun. They were absolutely amazing and made us feel truly welcome and relaxed during our stay. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and positive attitude really stood out, and they deserve to be recognized for the incredible service they provided. Now, I’d like to address a more serious concern involving the reservation/sales team. My sister (the bride-to-be) was really stressed because the sales team didn’t hand over key information to the resort team during our stay. It felt like there was a breakdown in communication, and that inconsistency from the sales side really affected credibility. I think the sales team could use a bit of refinement — it would be great if they could be more sleek and consistent to avoid this happening again. After this experience, we are genuinely worried that similar issues might arise on her special day. To prevent this, I respectfully request that a more experienced and reliable coordinator be assigned to handle her wedding details and oversee the entire process from this point forward. We want to ensure that everything goes smoothly, with clear communication and no last-minute surprises. I also want to take a moment to commend the resort itself — the place was absolutely luxurious and marvelous. I’m hoping that my sister’s guests — who will be coming from the UK, Australia, and Manila — will feel the same sense of awe and comfort when they arrive for the wedding.

Beach 91 is a stop on island hopping tours in Coron Palawan, offering a delicious buffet lunch under huts built on the rocks. Visitors can enjoy activities like swimming, kayaking, snorkeling to see the Japanese Shipwreck from WWII and colorful corals. The area also features other beautiful beaches such as Malcapuya Island, Banana Island, and Bulog Dos Island. Additionally, Beach 91 provides access to the nearby secret lagoon and offers canoe use for exploration.
A small but beautifully pristine white sand beach and a local favorite for lunch time as tour boats desend here for a lunch break between tour spots.

Beach 91 in Coron, Palawan, is a hidden gem that offers a stunning view of crystal blue waters and lush surroundings. The beach is primarily known for its peaceful swimming spots and as a perfect place to enjoy lunch. Visitors bring their own food, which can be enjoyed at the charming wooden houses that line the area, complete with a jetty extending over the water. These wooden structures provide a relaxing space to sit back, soak in the view, and share a meal with friends or family. The clear, turquoise water is perfect for swimming and adds to the serene ambiance of the place. Whether you are taking a dip or just sitting by the jetty watching the gentle waves, Beach 91 offers a tranquil escape from the busier tourist spots. It's an ideal spot for those who want to unwind, enjoy nature, and experience the beauty of Coron in its purest form.

Beautiful beach with clear blue waters. The snacks and drinks they sell here are of reasonable prices and there's plenty of shady tables. Compared to other beaches, it's not too crowded.

Just another white sand beach in one of the islands of Coron... it was a great place to take lunch and rest for a while after all the island hopping in the area... its a nice place for kayaking going towards the other side of the island where a tiny lagoon like formation is found with crystal clear waters...

This was one of the stops for the island hopping tour. Food was good. There was a small location to swim or kayak. Nothing that stands out about the place, but our lunch was a little more memorable as they did have live performers who sang beautifully.

We had our lunch at this beach as part of our tour. It was a nice experience dining in one of the huts by the shore. We snorkelled for a short while after lunch and saw so many little cute fishes!

Smith Coral Garden is a snorkeler's paradise, featuring a shallow coral reef that lies just beneath the surface, making it accessible for everyone. You don’t need diving gear to explore its vibrant underwater world filled with diverse corals and an array of colorful fish. While there are numerous fantastic snorkeling spots around Coron, Smith Coral Garden stands out for its stunning marine life. The warm and clear waters offer excellent visibility, perfect for spotting everything from lively fish to sea stars and even the occasional sea turtle.
Best what I saw in my life. Amazing clear water, most beautiful reef that I saw. Definitely recommend to visit. Remember SUN is so strong, take long sleeves with you, do not get burned even from the morning.

Snorkeling haven that offers a vibrant underwater spectacle. This shallow reef area is teeming with a diverse array of coral formations and marine life, making it a perfect spot for beginners and seasoned snorkelers alike. The clear, warm waters provide excellent visibility, allowing visitors to easily spot colorful fish, sea stars, and perhaps even sea turtles. It is is accessible via boat tours, which often include stops at other nearby attractions. It's a less crowded alternative to more popular spots, ensuring a peaceful and immersive experience with nature. Remember to respect the underwater environment and avoid touching the corals to preserve the beauty of this marine sanctuary.

Part of the Coron “Super Ultimate Tour,” and during the weekdays, it’s almost as if we had the place to ourselves. Only 2 boats carrying approximately 20 to 23 people each, there was plenty of space to snorkel. Our boat had a life preserver and non-swimmers can hold on to that with their life jackets and snorkeling masks on and you will see an amazing view under water. Plenty of corals and fishes that just take your breath away! There is no beach or deck to dock on so it was from the boat to the water, and from the water to the boat here.
Anni E — Google review
Tip: rent a private boat and come here during lunch time where no one will disturb you. We got to snorkel all by ourselves and we got to see a variety of sea life - tiny fishes, big fishes, all sorts of coral.

Spectacular underwater world, very clear water with colourful corals. There's a big chance of seeing turtles as well, we saw 3 while we were there.

We had our lunch here during our Tour A. According to our tour guides, this beach is exclusive for JY Travel. It was really hot when we got here because it’s noon. It was low tide so we had to walk to the beach.

Bodies of Water
Barracuda Lake, also known as Cayangan Lake, is a one-of-a-kind diving and snorkeling destination in the Philippines. This tranquil lake is enclosed by cliffs and is famous for its unique feature of varying water temperatures at different depths. The lake's underwater landscapes are fabulous with mineral formations that make for a truly unique diving experience. It's an inland body of water fed by freshwater from rain and springs, intruding from deep subterranean cracks.
Really nice place, You can see great things under water just need to snorkel a bit and what you see is magnificent. Water is very clear, don’t forget to take go-pro

A brackish water body or lake consisting of a mixture of salt water and fresh water combined to make this unique and favorite swimming hole in Coron, Palawan!
Rick B — Google review
Awesome! Getting in was a bit funky, lots of boats were already taking up the boardwalk space so we had to park a bit further and swim to shore. Also the path in and out is narrow, had to wait for everyone in front to move before we could. Boardwalk on the other side where the lake is is also cramped, especially when groups of tourists are there. This spot is known for free diving, however you can also snorkel here (though not as much to see besides the cliff faces under water).
Rachel R — Google review
I’m new to freediving, and Barracuda Lake was amazing! The water is super clear and calm, making it easy to dive. The coolest part is the thermocline, where the water changes from cold to warm as you go deeper. The underwater rocks are really unique, even though there aren’t many fish. The guides were friendly and helped me feel safe. It’s a perfect spot for beginners and anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful dive!
Eduardo J — Google review
This is a unique lake in Coron. Due to different salinities the temperature of the water changes quickly depending on the depth you are swimming. This makes the lake ideal for freediving. When at the surface you get an eerie feeling when looking at the limestone formations disappearing in the depths. Fortunately, the lake is only inhabited by barracuda who are not dangerous for humans (although they are not seen very often) and small bottom feeder fish. If you do a boat tour this lake is worth a visit!
Sam H — Google review
Barracuda Lake is located at the north shore of Coron Island in the Philippines. This location offers one of the most awesome diving experiences in the world. Occasionally referred to as Luluyuan Lake by locals, its crystal blue waters hidden between majestic rocky formations does not actually have barracudas and other wildlife. Instead, divers can experience a thermocline and halocline unlike anywhere else. Starting out on the surface of the lake, divers, swimmers, and scuba enthusiasts can expect temperatures around 82 degrees Fahrenheit. But as you descend into the depths of the lake, around 45 to 50 feet down, the temperature drastically changes to just over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (to put that in perspective, most people keep their hot tubs at 104 degrees, so it’s best to forego a wetsuit here).
Adrielle O — Google review
Such a gem in Coron. Clean, blue-green, and captivating. The tall rock formation will greet you above, and the inviting waters will get you excited for a dip! The funny thing is that I haven’t seen a barracuda during my visit 😅 This is part of the Super Ultimate Coron tour.
Eizen B — Google review
One of a kind -Best views and crystal clear water! Highly recommended. One of the best spot in Coron Palawan. The lake is few minutes hike from the boat and challenging paths like small wooden steps above big sharp rocks. It is not very safe for people have mobility and balance issue. If you are going island hoping bring cash with you because theres some snack stands in the island that sells everything from all kinds of beverages, alcohol, hot bananaque and fresh coconut drinks.

Island Boy Grill

Seafood restaurant
Island Boy Grill is a popular upscale restaurant in Coron, Philippines, known for its stunning views of Coron Bay and top-notch service. It offers local Filipino cuisine and is highly recommended by locals and tour guides as one of the best places to eat in the area. The restaurant is conveniently located near the port and stands out for its fresh seafood options, allowing customers to choose how they want their seafood cooked. Despite being upscale, the prices are reasonable compared to other seafood joints in the area.
The Seafood fried rice was already sufficient as a meal by itself. The grilled pork belly was normal. The Lobster was 1.5k PhP and was decent and fresh. The Lapulapu was 1k PhP and cooked they way we asked and it was great. The Halo-halo was appropriately sweet and packed with many ingredients. It's a bit expensive if you go for the pricey items but the cheaper options were already great!

This resto simply serves good Filipino food! We ordered crab egg drop soup, pancit guisado, and garlic butter prawns. They were all pleasant to eat. The prawns surprised me! They were properly cleaned and very big & juicy. For their improvement, I suggest they should hire more waiters. I noticed that their current waiters were overwhelmed during the busy dinner hours. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our dinner here. There's also live music.
Nico C — Google review
Food is just okay, nothing special. Ordered sinigang na hipon, lato, sisig and liempo for dinner, however nothing stood out. Also ordered cocktails, but not so good either. Location is good though, just beside the dock. They also had live band when we visited and it was a Wednesday around 7pm.
Grace E — Google review
Yes - it's on the pricey side but I enjoyed the live band, which performs nightly from 7-10pm. Had the sizzling squid and lato salad. More than enough for a solo traveller. The lobsters would have cost me P1000+ (!) - no need. I was told well-heeled mainland Chinese tourists easily drop P20k for the fresh seafood here. Good for the seafood and live band.
Rocky A — Google review
All good, not that bad. If you want to have more grilled food from Coron, this is another place. I was unable to try their live seafood selection. I only tried their buttered shrimp and old school pork skewers aka barbeque. All is good. Be prepared for some heat though. Service was good. Attentive and friendly staff. Good music. Live music. Not that bad at all.

If you want local eatery for your meal this is one of the places. Choices of food on the menu is a lot. Taste is not too bad. Price is not on the budget end but they have a live band to entertain you during dinner time.

The Sizzle and Soul of Island Boy Grill: My Coron Memories Island Boy Grill in Coron, Palawan, isn't just a place to eat; it's a sensory experience, a vibrant backdrop to sun-kissed days and starlit nights. My memories of this place are woven with the unmistakable aroma of grilling seafood, the lively chatter of fellow travelers, and the sweet taste of genuine island hospitality. I vividly recall my first evening there, fresh off an island-hopping adventure, salty from the sea and famished. The casual, open-air setting, with its rustic wooden tables and the gentle hum of conversations, immediately put me at ease. The sight of the fresh catch laid out on ice, waiting to be grilled, was a feast for the eyes even before the food hit the plate. Pointing to a plump snapper, envisioning its transformation over hot coals, was part of the fun. The food, oh, the food! My memories are dominated by the succulent grilled squid, perfectly tender with just the right amount of char, and the melt-in-your-mouth baby back ribs that truly lived up to their hype. Every bite felt like a celebration of fresh, local ingredients. And the mango shakes – thick, sweet, and perfectly chilled – were the quintessential antidote to the tropical heat, a memory of pure refreshment that I still crave. Beyond the delicious fare, it's the atmosphere that truly cemented Island Boy Grill in my memory. The gentle breeze carrying the scent of the sea, the rhythmic beat of live acoustic music (sometimes a soulful reggae band, other times a local crooner), and the easy laughter that filled the air. I remember sharing stories with strangers at neighboring tables, exchanging tips on the best snorkeling spots, and simply reveling in the shared joy of being in paradise. It felt like a quintessential Coron evening, unhurried and full of life. One evening, after a particularly exhilarating dive, a group of us from the same boat ended up at Island Boy. The shared platters of grilled seafood and crispy sisig became the perfect accompaniment to recounting our underwater discoveries. The sound of clinking San Miguel bottles and the collective "ooohs" and "aaahs" over each dish is a cherished memory of camaraderie and simple pleasures. Island Boy Grill, for me, embodies the heart of Coron's dining scene: unpretentious, flavorful, and infused with the laid-back charm of island life. It's not just about satisfying hunger; it's about soaking in the local vibe, making connections, and creating indelible memories that taste as good as the grilled prawns themselves. Whenever I think of Coron, the delicious smoky aroma of Island Boy Grill immediately comes to mind, transporting me back to those magical evenings.

Sangat Island Dive Resort is a secluded beachfront property located on Sangat Island, offering rustic native-style accommodations and a 300m stretch of white sandy beach surrounded by limestone cliffs and palm trees. The resort is the only one in the Philippines that is 100% solar powered and features 14 native-inspired room options. It's an ideal destination for intrepid diving explorations, with proximity to eleven historic WWII shipwrecks.
I can’t say enough good things about this remote island resort. We stayed here very last minute, as we were originally staying four nights on a catamaran, but wasn’t enjoying our boat time so needed a quick replacement. The staff was quick to accommodate us and even picked us up from our boat last minute within a few minutes of asking. This island felt extremely remote with just about 15-20 tourists the entire time but it was a short drive and boat ride from Busuanga Airport, making it easily accessible. Once we arrived on the island, the staff was nothing short of amazing. They remember all the guests by name and are extremely friendly and accommodating to every need. The chalets on stilts were wonderful. Nicely spaced out so it felt perfectly remote. They lack AC, but it wasn’t needed because they had wonderful airflow and several large fans. The mosquito nets in each room were also a nice style, as they were tied up on each corner so it didn’t feel like you were getting tangled in it and also stayed tucked under the mattress nicely. There was great off shore snorkeling right on the island, which we enjoyed. They also provide nice beach chairs for lounging. Can’t say it enough though that the best part of this resort was the incredible staff. Every single person we encountered was so kind and helpful. Look no further than this amazing place while staying around Coron!

I stayed in July, during the off season. I had an amazing time. The staff go above being just friendly and helpful. They made me feel pampered and the attention to preferences was amazing. My cabin did not have AC but I was comfortable with the breezes and fans. I loved hearing the ocean sounds as I fell asleep and waking up. The resort is the only place on the island. Making it a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding it. I had 2 great tours to go snorkeling and swimming. As well as the beach and lagoon in front of my cabin. I enjoyed seeing the monkeys in the evening and Amber( the dog) keeping them in check. 😊 Happy hour is a great way to end the day. The food is fantastic with a bit of variety each night. I will go back!

My time at Sangat Island Dive Resort (October 12th to 17th) was a dream vacation that exceeded all expectations. This resort is not just accommodation; it's an exclusive and perfectly maintained nature retreat, ideally suited for serious divers and anyone seeking absolute peace and relaxation. The resort's location is unbeatable: it is the closest property to the famous World War II Japanese wrecks in Coron Bay. During my short stay, I was able to dive almost all of the impressive wrecks, supplemented by some colorful reef dives. The Dive Center operates highly professionally. The guides are not only extremely competent and knowledgeable but also place great emphasis on safety. The entire operation ran smoothly, and the rental equipment was in very good condition. An absolutely first-class dive base for wreck enthusiasts! I stayed in a Beachfront Chalet with AC – a perfect combination of authentic, native construction and modern comfort. The design is simple, but everything necessary is provided and perfectly clean. The air conditioning was a blessing and ensured a comfortable night's sleep. Right outside the door was the white sand beach and the sea – it doesn't get any better than that. The entire property is wonderfully maintained. The whole island exudes incredible tranquility. As I was the only guest at times, the stay felt absolutely exclusive, like being on a private island. Surrounded by the iconic limestone cliffs of Coron, this is the very definition of a "getaway." The service from the entire team was heartfelt and outstanding. Every request I had was met with a smile. The staff significantly contributes to the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The cuisine deserves special mention: While meals are usually buffet style, the team personally served me a varied selection of local dishes since I was sometimes the only guest. The quality was consistently high. My request for a diet excluding fish and seafood was perfectly and creatively accommodated every day (meat was still available), and there was always more than enough to eat. Sangat Island Dive Resort is a true gem in Coron. It is the top destination for serious wreck divers and at the same time an ideal place for peace seekers looking to escape daily life. The blend of professional dive operations, warm service, and unique nature is unbeatable. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort! (Note on WiFi: It is available and very good in the common areas, but not in the rooms. This is perfect for truly disconnecting!)

I have just returned from a much too short of a visit to Sangat Bay Island resort. It is a beautifully remote and isolated resort, tucked away in a bay by itself. Despite this, it is very reachable and a fairly easy journey to the resort. The stunning view on arrival of the beach, very tasteful buildings and surrounding dense forest is only matched by the incredibly friendly and warm reception by the staff. At the reception desk, Jennifer and Meryli greet you with her beaming, heartwarming, smiles, and make sure you are well taken care of the rest of your stay. The diaphyseal is well equipped, the boat comfortable, and well manned, and the dive guides excellent! My guide, Fred, was superb both in guiding us through the wrecks and pointing out Reef creatures on the outside. The Rooms or chalets on stilts, widely separated, and private, well maintained and comfortable. The main dining/gathering area is very comfortable and the food quite good. Again, all of the staff were extremely warm and friendly and quite helpful. I will definitely return to Sangat Island Resort In the future. It is an incredible experience!

Spent three nights at Sangat in October at the end of low-season. We stayed in the hilltop chalet with AC and hot water. Sangat is nestled in a beach surrounded by towering green mountains ⛰️ , absolutely stunning location. The resort sits directly in front of a healthy reef with excellent snorkeling, which exemplifies Sangat’s commitment to conservation and sustainability. There are abundant fish, beautiful coral, we even saw 4 sea-turts 🐢 🌊 The staff were all outstanding. Dylan and Katherine were very accommodating. And the dive staff; tom, eco, and shy were all great. We had never scuba’d 🤿 prior to coming here, but Eco gave us a fantastic discovery scuba lesson and took us diving at one of the many ww2 shipwrecks nearby. The front desk also arranged a full-day tour for us which included amazing snorkeling and Scenery. Loved the 5-7 pm happy hour (I’m now addicted to Jägeritas), and loved watching monkey patrol dog Amber 🐕 take care of monkey business.

We had a wonderful stay at Sangat Island Dive Resort. I can’t say a bad thing about the place or people there. The accommodations were comfortable and right on the beach. We went to sleep with the sounds of the ocean waves kissing the beach In front of our bungalow. The diving was terrific! There are a lot of Japanese shipwrecks that were sunk off the coast during WW2 that we got a chance to explore. My girlfriend did her first dive there over a Japanese Sub Chaser. The guide could not have been more kind or patient. The staff there is incredibly nice and helpful. Everyone was so nice to us and made us feel special there every moment. The food is a buffet and really good. The happy hour at the rock bar should not be missed. There is a really nice reef about 100 yards off the beach that has fantastic snorkeling. You can also rent a kayak and paddle board there for those that like that. Oh yes, they have a really nice beach on the property as well. I would not hesitate to go back here. We had an amazing time there. 😃

unbelievable location, requiring unique transport by air, then road & finally by boat. the room rates include full lodging, except beverages, which were fairly priced. the staff were fantastic. the dive shop was great, the guides highly knowledgeable & the dive sites (we just did wtecks), were fabulous. only downside was we booked a beachside air cond bungalow with 2 beds (we are travel friends & not a couple) & the air cond really only covered one bed, sectioned off by curtains. couldn't cool down the entire bungalow as the opened area had 2 huge breezeway openings that had mosquito cloth, so any cool air would have been lost 😕 also, beware mosquitoes, thankfully they sourced antihistamines for us!! overall, highly recommended.

Mount Tapyas in Coron, Palawan is a 689-foot peak that offers stunning views of the town and harbor below. Accessible by a steep 720-step trek, it provides an opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. The climb is not overly challenging due to well-paved steps, but the hot weather can make it demanding. The journey to the top rewards visitors with breathtaking panoramic vistas, making it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.
Good hike. Awesome view. A must do in Coron.
Rubano M — Google review
I enjoyed walking up to Mount Tapyas as it is a challenge. You will be walking a lot of steps so I suggest bringing water to quench your thirst. Reaching the top feels like a success but the view is a wonder. It is one for the books if you want a bit of challenge. The stairs are well made so it is safe and not steep. I would not recommend this for kids and the elderly as it may be too challenging for them unless if they are fit and healthy.

Beautiful spot for sunset viewing. 720 steps to the top. Took only 15 mins to go up (for a fit person with no breaks, at a leisurely pace). Well worth the trip! Stunning panoramic views of Coron.

Must-see if you are in Coron. Worth for both sunrise and sunset. Great for active and non-active people alike. Just be aware that it is a 700+ steps per way. Breathe taking view of the whole town and all the islands nearby.

Climbing the 720 steps might be hard but reaching the top is totally satisfying! Give it a try to visit Mt. Tapyas.

My highlight of coron. Amazing staircase hike, can reach summit in 10 minutes with no break if you are fit. If you aren't there's plenty of rest stops and viewpoints on the way up so you can take it at your own pace. There's super friendly cats at the top that are so cute, pretty sure the council feed them but bring them a snack if you feel like it, they deserve it. View is absolutely to die for, full sweeping 360 view of coron and the surrounding islands, perfect no matter the weather, almost better when it's just been raining as there is no people. Big cross and Hollywood style "coron" sign at the top that they light up at night.

The 700 plus steps up to the top is all worth it. Go for the views, if not that, then for the exercise, because there's a lot of food places that you gotta eat at when you get to Coron.

Observation deck
Mount Tapyas Viewdeck is a popular spot in Busuanga, offering stunning views of the sunset. The 723-step trail leads to a massive viewing deck with an unobstructed view of the heavens and the surrounding landscape. While the climb may be challenging for some, there are rest areas along the way. Many visitors recommend making the hike early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid extreme heat.
Went up the 700+ steps of Mount Tapyas, and the view up there is just so wonderful. Saw the panoramic beauty of Coron town and the stunning islands nearby. On top, there's a tall metal cross, the Coron signage, a waiting shade area, and concrete benches to rest and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The concrete steps going up are mostly shaded by trees, and there are also roofed shelters for short breaks, making the climb more pleasant. It's better to climb in the early morning or late afternoon. Remember to bring water, wear sun protection, and be prepared to be sweaty going up.

What a climb. You need good, well-exercised legs to get up to the top from the base point. The views are stunning though, as you can see the whole Coron town as well as other grass hills beside Mt. Tapyas that rolls over a panorama. These views are not very common in the Philippines so it’s worth climbing if only for this view as well.
Josh L — Google review
Have to give it a 5 stars because of the magnificent views despite the 725 steps you have to climb to reach the top. Bi went there near to sunset time but as it was cloudy, didnt get to see the sunset. Beautiful view both at the seaward side and the mountain view. Highly recommended!

The fresh air and lush greenery enhance the journey, creating a serene atmosphere. Once you reach the top, the sense of accomplishment combined with the stunning sunset view is unforgettable. It’s a perfect blend of adventure and natural beauty, making it a highlight of any trip to Coron. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking both physical activity and stunning scenery!🤩😍🫰👏👋

you'll need to walk 720 steps up to get to the summit of Mt. Tapyas. the viewdeck at the summit is clean, it offers a very nice view of the town of Coron, Coron island, and the sea. the only thing that bothers me are the metal chairs at the viewdeck, and some of the railings, which are already in not-so-good condition, like some are rusted, some have metal parts falling off, etc.
Oli G — Google review
720+ steps to reach the top and it's no joke. Be prepared to walk up a long distance. At least the path is fully made of cement and there's plenty of benches and rest stops. The view from above is quite nice and you can see the entire town and Coron Bay as well! In general, it should take about 15-20 mintues to reach the top if you're in good shape. Too bad there's no one selling water at the top, so make sure to bring enough hydration!

Lualhati Park

4.1
(308)
Park
Lualhati Park, situated in the heart of Coron, is a public park offering a relaxing atmosphere and stunning sunset views. The park features a monument honoring Filipino revolutionaries who fought for independence from Spain. It's an open area with various food and other vendors, making it a great spot for people-watching.
This is where the I Am CORON sign is for photo ops. It also serves as drop-off and pick-up points for tourists going on for the island tours in the morning. Although definitely, it may only become busy in the morning wherein tourists, boatmans, guides, and other vendors flock.
Einz — Google review
A nice enough place to visit but I was personally VERY disappointed in whoever manages this dirty, run down park!!! I absolutely guarantee a crew of 4 or 5 good workers and a budget of about 40,000 or 50,000 peso's and this park would be absolutely beautiful... It is a shame the local government collects a whopping 200 peso's for an environmental fee, resulting in an astronomical amount of money, (annually), and they can't budget a tiny little portion to upgrade their local park. Even a fresh coat of paint would help!!!!!
Rick B — Google review
Honestly, whoever’s in charge of Lualhati Park needs to step up—or step down. This is the main jump-off point for island tours in Coron, so you'd expect it to be organized and tourist-friendly. But instead, you’re left waiting around while tour staff delay everything until all other tourists show up. There’s barely any shade, nowhere to sit, and nothing much to do while you wait. The only decent thing here is the “I ❤️ Coron” sign—and that’s about it. This is the first thing tourists see before heading out to explore the islands. Shouldn’t it be welcoming and comfortable? With all the environmental fees collected, you’d think they could invest in some basic improvements. Coron deserves better.
Edward H — Google review
I went here on foot from the Main Road for some exercise. The place is busy because of tourists getting ready for their island-hopping tours. There are people selling food, dry bags, waterproof cellphone holders, snorkels, sunglasses, and swimming outfits. Because it is quite busy in the morning, it can get very lively. There appears to be space for cars to park.
Ia L — Google review
Lualhati Park is popular mainly because it serves as the port for ships traveling to various islands in Coron. There are plenty of food stalls, it’s close to the central market, and the famous Coron sign on Mount Tapyas is visible from here.
Eizen B — Google review
A nice park in Coron and the first stop of their land tour. There's nothing much to see except for the Coron sign but a nice place to hang out when in the area. We only spent several minutes in the area for photos.
Hillary C — Google review
Empty except for vendors and people waiting for their island hopping tours. You don't really want to hang there during the day since you get harrassed by every vendor and there isn't much shade or place to sit the "park" in itself is small and surrounded by mud. The view is beautiful though.
Gabriel C — Google review
This is where the iconic IAMCORON signage can be found. It also is a port for all the boats that goes to tours everyday. It is a reclaimed area. There were a lot of vendors forcing you to buy ther stuff even though you already said no a million times. There was no covered area so when you wait for the boat for your tour to get ready, you're gonna be basked under the heat of the sun. There were also street food around the area so if you're looking for local street food experience, go here. If you visit in the afternoon though, sunset is so visible and really soothing to look at. Good for photoshoot.

Souvenir store
Coron Souvenirs & Gift Shop is a must-visit for those looking for affordable souvenir items like key chains, magnets, and other accessories. Additionally, there's a nearby digital t-shirt printing shop for custom shirts. The Souvenir Shop is another option offering various souvenir essentials such as shirts, magnets, key chains, mugs, woodcarvings, and more.
Everything you need to buy to remember your visit to this location. From South Sea Pearl's to t-shirts. Key chains. Magnets for your fridge. Clothes, swimsuits, and shorts for guys. Plus, so much more. Great prices. Friendly staff. And if you're a cat lover. There are plenty of cute ones running around in the store. As well as a cashew store as you enter. Great selection of everything, Coron Palawan.

great place for getting pasalubong! lots of stuff to choose from. plus they have several pet cats, one of which looks like Tom from Tom and Jerry ❤️
Oli G — Google review
There are several souvenirs to get. From the small knick-knacks you can keep to the local art you can collect. They only accept cash as payment. Bring a reusable bag if you're shopping. Parking in front of the store for motorcycles.
Ia L — Google review
Souvenirs galore!! I was surprised by how big this souvenir store is. I didn't think they would have that many items because most of the souvenir stores we passed were small. However, there is a huge section to explore and find your Coron memorabilia. They seem to have just about everything. It is on a lower level so it was quite hot inside. They have a really cute white cat inside too!!! But I don't think it's for sale lol.
J H — Google review
Lots of souvenirs here but what I really liked are the edible souvenirs with great packaging as you can see in the photos. Not too pricey, either. Located right along the road so not hard to miss. Cash only.

The Irako Shipwreck is an archaeological site located in the municipality of San Isidro, province of Leon, Castile and León, Spain. It is a large vessel (ca. 120m long) which sank during the 17th century. It was identified as a wreck in 1939 and it has been the subject of archaeological investigations since 1977. The site has been declared a National Monument since 1994.
One of the legacies of the Philippines's past. A second World War's became a highlight for Island Hoping Tours of Coron. Corals all around the place and a special great place for diving and snorkeling. Amazing genuine coloured fishes and a clear water transformed into a landmark of the Area.
Flavius — Google review
My children loved it! Their first ship wreck free dive experience! Also called the Skeleton Island, part of the “Super Ultimate Tour,” this is one of the awesome stops! Skeleton refers to the skeleton of a cargo Japanese ship from WW II, not human skeleton 😄. Aside from the wreck, there are also plenty of fishes and when you offer them food, oh boy do they come! You can be swimming in the water with them and they are not shy. There’s also a “floating store” here. As in a man in his fishing boat with a cooler of drinks and a bunch of chips.
Anni E — Google review
I did an amazing dive to and into the Irako shipwreck with Corto Divers. The current was moderate and the visibility ok. The wreck is absolutely fantastic and I enjoyed the dive so much. Due to the depth and partially small passages this is a dive for more experienced divers.
Jens H — Google review
Loved it. You can use the rope to free dive and check out the shipwreck. A lot of fish in the surrounding area.
1barsha — Google review
Another wreckdive we did with Chindonan Dive Resort, so that means they are one of few who actually do wreck penetration on the wrecks. Fantastic dive! Check m out 👌🏻
Ray J — Google review
Completed two penetration dives on nitox here. Entry point at 38m. Many areas have unsecured wiring drifting about, rust and silt in abundance... As in this is a legit wreck for advanced to expert divers with solid bouancy control, strong spatial awareness, and a lack of claustrophobia. Watch your fins and don't mess it up for the next dive team, please.

When its wreck diving you want, this is the perfect place for you.. visibility is next to nothing. If i give it a score 10 being the highest? Its gonna be 100. Philippine Paradise

Kingfisher Park, located in the Mangrove Forest, offers a variety of activities such as birdwatching, mangrove kayaking, hiking, and waterfall tours. The Fireflies Tour at night is a must-try experience where visitors are taken on a motorboat to witness the magical sight of bio-luminescent plankton sparkling in the water and fireflies performing their glowing mating ritual around the trees.
Amazing kayaking tour! We got to see the beautiful mangroves as we kayaked our way through. Then when it was dark we saw thousands of fireflies and the plankton. As well, the sky was so clear and saw too many stars to count. (Pictures below but they do not do the actual scene justice) Beautiful park. Love that they are preserving the biodiversity here. Our guide Jason was so knowledgeable and personable. Really a great experience.

Looking for a quiet corner on the island? This is one of the spots you need to visit. Featuring is beautiful boardwalk with dedicated stops and seats that let you enjoy nature. There are also day huts at the beach area. Thank you to Palawan Tourism Council for arranging this experience.

Absolute must try if ever you visit Coron. Seeing the fireflies in such abundance is a once in a lifetime experience for me. If you live in an urban area and if you're wondering how fireflies look like, I highly recommend that you visit the Kingfisher park.
Al T — Google review
A magnificent place where you can see fireflies and the possibility of taking a night kayak tour to combine fireflies and plantons. Magnificent! If you have the opportunity, take long clothes and/or mosquito repellent and go visit this place built by Sandrou himself. Experience 10/10
Yann H — Google review
Awesome experience! We were the only ones there in the morning and the guide Lion took us on an amazing kayak tour in a 3 person kayak through both the mangroves and the open ocean. The area is so peaceful and beautiful, highly recommend to go! To get there we hailed a tricycle which took us there and back for 1000php. The tricycle driver was so kind and waited for us. The road at the end towards the park is a bumpy dirt road so be prepared to engage your core. The kayaking was 500php per person.
Patrick — Google review
Lots of fireflies and right after heavy rain. Friendly and helpful guide. Walking Bridge requires caution cause its made of bamboo. Would not recommend it to senior citizens however they are improving it.
Jakub G — Google review
We paid 1‘100 Pesos per person for the firefly tour with Ocean Pearl. I think the price is fair (transportation, dinner, tour guide and entry fee of 300 pesos to kingfisher park are included). I am not an expert but I think the fireflys are treated „ethically fair“ (no touching, no catching, just observing nature) which I liked a lot. The tour guide was chill and knew a lot about the fireflys. FYI -> best time to go is during NEW MOON! 😊
Pink G — Google review
Beautiful place. Most people go there after the sunset to see the fireflies and luminiscent plancton, but you can also get there before sunset to walk through the platforms along the mangroves. If you're lucky you can spot some kingfishers and jellyfish. There are no hiking paths, just the platforms but it's 100% worth it. You can take a tour from Coron for like 1200php but also rent a bike and DIY and it'll be 500php per person which includes a kayak and guide plus the bike rental. The place is protected for conservation and I heard that they will soon start offering birdwatching boat rides along the river. The guides were amazing and knew a lot. Just beware of the bumpy and muddy road after the exit from the concrete road, but it's like 300m and very doable.

Busuanga Island

Island
Busuanga Island, part of the Calamian Group of Islands in Palawan, is a serene destination known for its picturesque bays, hiking trails, and crystal-clear waters that attract divers. While often referred to as Coron due to the town on the island, it's important to note that Busuanga is the main island. The highest peak in this group of islands is Mt. Darala, offering a challenging hike with stunning views.
A heaven on earth. This island is so peaceful. This is the base island for Coron visit. City is very nice, people here are good. You can do shopping in genuine rates. You can buy wooden mask, handcraft items which is famous here. You can also do massages here, which are cheap and good.

We stayed in Coron. And the islands that we visited were stunning. The airport is really small and not well maintained.
JessicaM P — Google review
Busuanga is the northernmost of the three major island groupings of the Calamianes Group of Islands. As such, it is also unique in that Busuanga sits at a latitude high enough to place it within the "typhoon belt" which cuts through the upper part of the Philippine Archipelago - significant also is the fact that in November of 2013, super-typhoon HAIYAN (locally known as "YOLANDA") exited the country passing squarely over Busuanga, leaving in its wake a lot of destruction of natural and man-made property. Busuanga is such a beautiful island, and until quite recently, not well known to travellers. Not many would know that Busuanga is in fact the name of the island whose capital, Coron IS, world famous for being the jumping-off point for the many daily tour boats which ferry hoards of tourists the short, 15min trip to neighbouring CORON island (from which the town gets its name). Do a separate search for CORON ISLAND - I plan to soon write a review about this gem of an island. Busuanga is divided into two municipalities: Coron to the east, and Busuanga to the west. There is an airport (Francisco B. Reyes Airport) located centrally, at the northeastern extremity of the Busuanga territory. A 25min van ride gets air travellers from the airport to Coron Town - where most of the more budget-friendly inns and hotels are located. Coron Town is tiny, and quite cramped, easy to get around by just walking, or, jumping onto a local "tricycle" for a few pesos. Not very picturesque, nor what I would describe as "quaint", Coron, as a central hub, does manage to get the job done. Population, approximately 30,000. Busuanga Town, and the neighboring "Old Busuanga" Town, are located on the southwest corner of Busuanga Island, a more rugged and picturesque side of the island. A new road cuts through the west-central mountainous region to shorten the travel time to the airport. Both Busuanga towns are far less developed, but much more pleasant, should one decide to get off the beaten path. As is obvious so far, I have spent a lot of time travelling all throughout the island, and have visited every small village scattered throughout, on the coast and within the interior. Rent a motorbike and explore, - no way to get lost on this small land mass, you'll always somehow find your way back to your hotel. Enjoy Busuanga. I can't get enough of it! 😀

Hermanos Tapas is a Spanish tapas restaurant that serves some of the most delicious dishes in Coron. The small plates are perfect for sharing, and the menu has a wide variety of traditional and modern European cold cuts and cheeses to pair with your wine of choice. The decor is modern and sleek, with clean lines and an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. This is the perfect place to spend a romantic evening out in Coron with your significant other.
Everything was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant. Great service, atmosphere and food was excellent. Our absolute favourite was the Ginger Lemon Fish, done to perfection. Slightly crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside.

We had our first dinner here when we arrived in Coron. They had small servings, usually good for two but was really delicious. The staff was accommodating and the vibe of the restaurant was really nice and inviting. The food was a bit pricey but we enjoyed our dine in.

Wow, what an experience! Hermano’s Tapas in Coron is an absolute gem. The food was out of this world, every single tapa was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked — honestly the best tapas we’ve ever had! The service was just as impressive, and a special shoutout to Joy, our waiter, who was so lovely, polite, and always smiling. She made us feel completely at home and really added to the experience. We finished every last bite because it was just that good. A perfect evening from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend it more! 👏🏼

The gambas and empanada were really delicious. The chicken with white sauce was just average. Service was friendly but lacking. There were two of us and they did not give us serving spoon for the gambas and chicken. I think the prices were too expensive for the level of service and the overall atmosphere.

Unreal food. Get the prawns they are amazing, also got the papas frittas they were nice (one of the sauces is spicy, another more creamy - both very good). Also make sure you get the Spinach dish that was amazing!!!! We also got the olives which were nice and the seafood + rice dish (apologies I forgot the name but it was VERY GOOD!). Also we got the mixed veggies dish which was amazing. All in all each of the dishes were fabulous, MUST TRY if you're in Coron and want something a bit different. You can tell they inspire their dishes with a bit of Philippines flair! Well done!!!!!

Great food and service. Servings are not small as well. Might be on the pricier side but if you want good quality, you'll get it here

Tapas food that is quite flavorful and as expected, has small portions with higher prices for the area. It's nice that they have many vegetarian and vegan options. Would recommend their arroz con pollo (tender and saucy), patatas bravas, and cashew spinach (with good sauce) Staff are friendly and kind to split the bill. There's also a 5% surcharge that's shown on the bottom of each bill

Nestled on the waterfront, La Sirenetta Seafood Restaurant & Bar offers a mesmerizing dining experience with stunning views of Coron Bay. The restaurant specializes in Italian and seafood cuisine, providing a culinary journey that reflects its oceanic surroundings. Accessible through an alleyway or by boat, this charming spot is adorned with sculpted mermaids and features an open-air dining area.
Great ambience, structure atop the bay, linked via a wooden bridge, rustic charm. Overlooking the bay, watch the boats sailing in and out to sea, surrounded by hilly terrain islands nearby. Watch the magic hour, of the color Aurora set by the setting sun. Majestic sight to behold even within town. This is LIVING! Food wise, decent quality and decent price like most restaurants. Be sure to come earlier if you dont want to end up being in queue for a table, as there are only about 15 tables and some counter seats.

Great restaurant to sit and pass the afternoon, especially with a lovely light breeze blowing off of the water!! Service was easy but could have been a little more attentive. Once a conversation was struck up over staff opinions on the best tour companies, the ladies were happy to engage with us. Lunch was quite tasty, reasonably priced, and good portion sizes, left full and satisfied. Please be advised, they have a very limited seafood menu, mostly a combination of European and Asian dishes. Beer was super cold!!
James D — Google review
You really go to this restaurant for the location. As mentioned in other reviews be prepared that more than 50% of the menu maybe unavailable, of course they don't tell you that when you sit down. However if you are flexible about what you eat then you should enjoy your time here. Service was pleasant. Food was good.
Jonathan H — Google review
very relaxing place for a drink or a meal. please do not plan to be in a hurry and enjoy the breeze and the views. not the biggest sign on the road so you need to pay attention to find it but worth it. you have to go down a short steep hill and then wind your way past a hotel and dive shop to get to their walkway. they provide one of the better views of the bay and will catch the breeze if there is one. the also have a pool table which can be fun shooting pool with a view of the bay. a bit more expensive for dinner but good quality and quantity. house wine both red and white were very acceptable. not open for breakfast at least at low season. as a suggestion you may want to split a meal as the portions are large. a pizza and most of the offerings can easily feed two people.

5 to 10 mins walk from the main road. Wonderful view and cozy atmosphere. The food was a little expensive, the food was great nonetheless. They also have a bar and sells various drink concoctions. The area is not that noisy and away from the busy streets.

Great view of the bay, nice place to have a drink but nothing more. Overpriced food, 320PHP for pasta? Really? In the Philippines! Come have a drink here but stay away from the food. Service was mediocre, took over 10 minutes for the waitress to come see us and we were the only customers in the whole place. Drinks were okay but my girlfriend found 2 ants in her Lytchee Daiquiri. Come decide for yourself, still worth it all in all but don't get hyped about this place or you'll be deceived.

Hostel
Hop Hostel in Coron, Philippines offers a range of budget-friendly accommodation options including dormitory-style beds and private rooms. The hostel features a regional restaurant, rooftop bar, bakery, pool, well-equipped kitchen, cinema room, game room and social events for meeting other travelers. With a variety of room types available from 8-bed mixed dorms to quadruple private rooms, the hostel provides modern design with curtains on each bunk as well as good lockers and a kitchen.
This was the most comfortable bed we slept in our entire vacation. We were lucky enough to somehow get the four king beds in the 12 person dorm which are all single beds. The area was a beautiful garden consisting of hammocks pool bean bag chairs with gorgeous views. Bathrooms were consistently cleaned and there was a decent sized kitchen. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I was expecting a little more of a party/ overly friendly hostel vibe and was happily surprised. While people were friendly there was plenty of space to recharge alone and respectful boundaries. There were quite a few events at the hostel nightly but sadly we were too exhausted to partake. Wonderful stay!

We were able to request an upgrade and had a great private room with comfortable amenities. Breakfast was included with our room which was great. The pool is small but nice to swim in and the location is great very close to the middle of the town. The staff were all very helpful with anything we needed including booking tours and trikes. The nights we were there felt like less of a party vibe than some other hostels but we were happy with that!

I had a lovely time at Hop Hostel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and cleaned daily. I especially like the comfortable and breathable bedding. The food was good, especially the breakfast. One of my favourite features is the pool area. The wooden deck has an amazing pool, comfortable beanbag chairs and is out of the sun for most of the afternoon. The pool is only a few steps away and a good size and depth. There is an activity to take part in every evening if you so wish as well. Perfect for solo or group travel.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a private room. Juliete from reception was friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. The room was clean and comfortable. The hostel is located on a hill, offering beautiful views of Coron town, the sea, and the mountains on the horizon, yet just a few steps from the town center, where you can find shops and restaurants. In the morning, after waking up and heading to breakfast at the restaurant, sitting on the terrace, we could see and hear the birds chirping, which was very calming. The pool water was refreshing, and there were plenty of comfortable seating options. The restaurant, located on the ground floor, served delicious food; we tried several dishes and enjoyed them all. A big thank you to the wonderful staff—although we can’t remember all the names, Mea was especially attentive and looked after us, so a special thanks to her. We also had the opportunity to enjoy drinks, especially cocktails, on the rooftop. It was amazing to have a drink under the stars with a nice bar atmosphere and good music—definitely recommended. Big thanks also to James and Jane from housekeeping. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely come back again.

The best hostel by far. The staff were friendly and created a great atmosphere. The island tour they offered was amazing. I prefer dormitory rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and this place had exactly that, as well as additional bathrooms outside the rooms. It was also great that each bathroom had a hair dryer and that paid laundry was available. There were plenty of community spaces and events, making it easy to meet people. The free small dinner was a nice touch. However, climbing to the upper bunk was a bit difficult and felt slightly unsafe. Typically, there's a pole or handhold next to the ladder for support, but here it was positioned too far away, making it easy to lose balance — especially for smaller women who might struggle to reach it.
