Embark on a delightful journey with the New Hope Railroad, where history and scenic beauty intertwine. This heritage railroad features both steam and diesel locomotives that traverse an 18-mile route through the picturesque rolling hills of Bucks County. Passengers can enjoy a captivating 45-minute narrated ride aboard vintage passenger coaches or an antique bar car, all while being pulled by a charming 1925 Baldwin Steam Locomotive or historic diesel engines.
New Hope has been on my radar for awhile, and when I finally got there, I was really disappointed. Billed as this quaint town with a vibrant business area of diverse shops and boutiques, most are not open during the week, and if they are, their hours are 11 AM-5 PM. The railroad was the highlight of the whole town, and is a nice little historical area. It was almost worth the trip there just to see it.

Wonderful experience. We went in the outside car with our three year old grandchild. Everyone was friendly. Informative. We liked the gift shop, although it was pricey! 45 minutes was perfect for a 3.5 year old. Beautiful memories!!

A good place to spend some time with family, just depends on what you are expecting from the trip. If you do not have small children I would suggest to take the trip before 1:30 or after that, the one at 1:30 was completely booked and had plenty of small children. This way you will have a space on the train and less people around you. If you would like to have a date, go for the first class ticket. And if the weather permits go for the open windows space, you would see more. Booking in advance is a good idea only if you know what time you need and which class you want, if you are not sure, you can do it right there at the station. Also, if you have the whole day, then you can visit both places, New Hope in PA and Lamberville in NJ. I love both and can spend hours there, especially if you come before Halloween, so you can enjoy tge decorations.

An absolutely fascinating place! It’s truly spectacular to see such an old locomotive still running 🚂. The whole town is soaked in history and antique charm — it feels like time has stopped here. 🕰️ And the bridge over the river is something special! Right in the middle, you actually cross from Pennsylvania into New Jersey – such a cool feeling to stand between two states! 🌉🇺🇸 A must-visit spot for anyone who loves history, trains, and authentic small-town vibes. ❤️

New Hope is a very atmospheric town, and the railroad adds even more charm. Here you can feel like a lady or gentleman from the 1920s. But remember, life in those distant years only looks romantic in pictures. Soot and lumps of coal will fly out of the locomotive's chimney. If you're in an open-air train car, don't wear white. And to protect your eyes, you'll be given special goggles.

Took a ride on the New Hope Railroad and it was an unforgettable experience! The vintage trains are beautifully restored, giving you that perfect mix of old-time charm and scenic relaxation. Rolling through Bucks County’s countryside feels like stepping back in time — the views are peaceful, the cars are clean and comfortable, and the whole ride has that nostalgic magic. The staff and conductors were incredibly friendly and informative, adding stories and history along the route that really bring the journey to life. Whether you’re a train enthusiast, a family looking for a weekend outing, or a couple out for a relaxing day trip, this is a must-do experience in New Hope. Be sure to check out the gift shop and nearby restaurants — it makes for a perfect afternoon. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stepping aboard the New Hope Railroad feels like entering a time capsule—where vintage charm meets modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was steeped in nostalgia, with classic train whistles and friendly conductors in period attire. The ride itself was smooth and relaxing, with plush seats and large windows that framed the Bucks County countryside like moving postcards. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone craving a beautiful, comfortable ride back in time.

Gravevine express - we came to this same experience about 2 years ago. While today was great, the experience definitely decreased in quality. The last time I remember it costing way less per person, and there was a bar in the area of first class that we were all seated. They offered a glass of bourbon on our last tour and allowed us to order multiple glasses of the wine we tried depending on how much we finished. This time around; they only offered us the 4 glasses of wine and it was over 350$ per couple. In addition, the parking situation was very misleading and it appeared like it was $15 per day when we intially looked at the screen when went to park in their SMALLLL parking lot. When we went to leave, they charged us $48 dollars for “2 hours and 5 minutes” even though they let us off the train later than “1 hour past our start time. The lady who was our tour guide advised us next time we should park elsewhere and we were totally unaware that it was HOURLY rare. We would’ve parked somewhere else but the kiosk screen did not clearly state it and there was ZERO signs in front of the kiosk. We are very disappointed bc we have visited twice and not sure we would come back due to the ridiculous pricing… cute but not sure it’s worth it at this point..

Oldestone Steakhouse, located in downtown New Hope, PA, is a refined restaurant housed within a former church. The establishment offers a diverse menu featuring steak, seafood, and vegetarian options. The interior boasts stunning architectural elements such as arched paintings, stone walls, wood inlay flooring, and marble tables. Additionally, the Oldestone Bar serves authentic cocktails and features an excellent menu.
I visited last week with my husband for the first time. We were celebrating his birthday and were so pleased! We stumbled upon this place and were excited to try it, just based off of how unique it looked. I ordered the crab cakes, which were amazing! The service was great, everyone was super friendly and it was an all around great experience. We would absolutely love to come back again! So unique. Nothing like it!

The only thing better than the food, drinks and warm ambiance is the service (and I left here stuffed with course after course of incredible dishes, and also four drinks deep). If you’re dining here for a special occasion, be sure to note it in your reservation: My husband’s and my anniversary evening out was even better because it felt like we were absolutely doted on from drinks to dinner—which, honestly, is the kind of attentive-but-not-intrusive service that’s turning out to be a consistent hallmark of our visits here.
Madeleine M — Google review
We visited for dinner and started with an excellently prepared and served cocktail at the beautiful bar on the first level. We then were escorted upstairs to dine. The dining room was wide open but we had a cozy seat for two facing the very large and unusual mural. You could envision the space having been a church at one time. We had a wedge salad and shrimp mornay for a first course and the shrimp was so incredibly delicious and hot! The second course was the NY strip steak, perfectly prepared and served with three sauce choice because we wanted to try all three. Also enjoyed the shrimp garlic dish- beautifully done with broccolini. Mashed potatoes and creamed spinach - a must, greatly enjoyed. Our server was excellent! We were waited on beautifully and not intrusively, and as it was an anniversary we were offered a complimentary glass of champagne! We had a great experience all around. Only reason for one less star is that the meat cut in our case didn’t seem like the top cut, and also the meal came out too fast while we were still enjoying the first course (timing is everything for the kitchen!!). We would most definitely go back and encourage people to go and spoil yourselves!

Let me start out by saying I gave four stars for food only because I didn’t have any. But I hope to someday soon try and I will alter my rating based upon that experience. Oldestone Steakhouse is a transformed church, and simply spectacular on the inside. My girlfriend’s and I sat at the bar and we each had a specialty cocktail. I asked the bartender to make my espresso martini with tequila, as I often do prefer it served that way. My drink was incredible, in fact, even my girlfriends enjoyed their drinks thoroughly. I also think it’s worth mentioning, the glassware that our drinks were served in, I appreciate the quality of the stemware exponentially! My girlfriend drinks, sport, garnished, beautifully, service at the bar with spectacular, and we enjoyed having conversation with the manager as well! I look forward to returning one day, sitting at a table (after my bar cocktail, of course), and indulging in a big fat juicy steak!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and their staff made the experience special. It started with rose petals around the lighting element on the table and ended with a delicious Crème brûlée. Our server Rebecca was engaging and very hospitable. She ensured my group was comfortable and enjoyed the evening. The food and wine was amazing. From the beet salad, the filet mignon, the NY strip steak, the meat sauces and a series of sides, the meal was prepared to perfection. The high ceilings, stained glass windows and large mural at the end of the main dining room created a unique ambience. We are looking forward to our return. Thank you for the special experience.

My wife and i celebrated our 26 wedding anniversary there and i was completely smitten by the overall experience. My crabcakes were AWESOME and with the creamed spinach on the side made this meal complete. My wife had a garlic butter and red wine sauce over shrimp. The flavor was impecible and don't call them shrimp to their face. So big these crusteans would guard your property. The cost was even better. I had enough money at the end of the night to pay for the parking ticket i got for parking at the front door. BRAVO OLDSTONE!!!

We came to this restaurant for our anniversary, we sat at the bar on the first level for a cocktail while waiting for our table. When escorted to the main dinning room, we sat and it took a bit for our server to take our order. We ordered the prime steak with mash and Brussels sprouts. We waited for over an hour to get our main course we had to call our serve over so she can check on our order. We didn't even an apology nor anything to make up for it. We was so disappointed we didn't order desert for afraid to wait another hour. Hopefully management can go back to the table with staff and address this issue. I would have for such a beautiful establishment to go under.

Such a unique place for a restaurant! Our waiter Dan was top notch, I asked for a drink (Devil’s Margarita) that was unknown to them and was made perfectly. We ordered the brussel sprouts as an appetizer (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) there is bacon it in and made with a sauce or jam maybe fig or a balsamic glaze but it was, excuse the pun, heavenly. Our steaks were made to perfection as well.

Immerse yourself in the 1920s ambiance with a ride on the New Hope Railroad or indulge in diverse culinary delights at New Hope's Ferry Market. This indoor food market hosts a dozen vendors offering options for various tastes and dietary needs, from plant-based burgers and Peruvian empanadas to sweet treats like Dole Whip and shave ice. The market is home to over 13 local businesses, each offering a unique dining experience under one modern roof.
Such a nice cozy place! Many options to choose from, even many vegan ones. Love coming back and trying something new everytime! The place is always super busy (that is a good sign, right!?) but you can always find an open table to take a seat and enjoy your food and drink. Definitely will be back soon again!

Feels like a cozy, upscale food court with a great variety of options. If you’re with a group and everyone wants something different, this place is perfect. They’ve got Mediterranean, Peruvian, Indian, and more — something for everyone. It’s fun to walk around, check out the different stalls, and pick what you’re in the mood for.

What a wonderful discovery! New Hope Ferry Market is a fantastic place that offers an incredible variety of international cuisines - Brazilian, Mexican, Greek, Indian, and more. What impressed me most was how well-organized everything was. Despite having multiple vendors, they all worked together seamlessly as if they were one unified company. The collaborative atmosphere really enhanced the overall experience. Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The aromas throughout the market were absolutely delicious, making it genuinely difficult to decide what to try first - a good problem to have! We ultimately went with Brazilian food from Sabor, and it was an excellent choice. The quality and flavors were outstanding. This is definitely a must-visit spot for anyone who loves diverse, authentic international food in a warm, community-focused environment. We’ll absolutely be back to try more of what the other vendors have to offer! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ferry Market is the perfect place to stop by if you want to grab something to eat before or after exploring New Hope. The Ferry Market is a great place if you are with multiple people and everyone can’t decide on one place to eat at. The Ferry Market is a food hall with unique vendors. I decided to grab a bite to eat at Market Pizza. I got the Black Forest pizza which is like a personal pizza. The Black Forest pizza had prosciutto di parma arugula, shaved parmesan roasted plum tomatoes, fontina evoo, and balsamic reduction. I got to try a slice of the Breakfast Anytime pizza and that consisted of farm fresh egg, garlic potato, applewood smoked bacon mozzarella, fresh rosemary, and black cracked pepper. My sister and I agreed that the pizzas were delicious but we like our pizzas a little more saucy. But both were good and I didn’t feel as guilty eating the whole pizza because they were thin. Then for a sweet treat we got Dubai cups from Booza Plus which were good as well. I love the crunch of toast kataifi.

The Smell the Curry restaurant in the Ferry Market was amazing. It’s a smaller version of their other locations, but it still offers a great selection of both North and South Indian cuisines. When you enter the main entrance of the market, it's tucked toward the right-hand side. For today’s visit, my wife and I ordered the chili chicken and two Mysore Dosas. Just a fair warning: we love spicy food, and these dishes are spicy. If you can't handle the heat, they offer mango lassi or mango juice drinks to help cool things down. If you prefer milder food, there are plenty of other options, including dosas that aren’t spicy. Dosas, by the way, are thin savory crepes made from a fermented batter of ground black gram and rice. The Mysore Dosa is filled with Indian bhaji (Indian-style mashed potatoes). The dish comes with a few dipping options like sambar (a lentil and vegetable stew) and coconut chutney. It’s very filling—I didn’t have enough room to finish, but I’m looking forward to the leftovers. The market is a great place to visit while in New Hope. There are several other restaurants to try as well. It reminds me of a tiny version of the Reading Terminal. We can’t wait to visit this location again.

The Ferry Market is a foodie’s dream! It’s filled with a wide variety of options, and I was especially thrilled to find a gluten-free only restaurant—such a rare and exciting find for someone like me who is gluten-free. Finally, a place where everyone can enjoy something delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We recently visited this market and had an absolutely amazing experience. This place is a foodie's paradise. It's a beautiful market filled with numerous small restaurants, each offering a unique experience. What made our experience even more enjoyable was the lively atmosphere. We tried several dishes, and each one was delicious. The prices were reasonable, and the overall food quality was amazing. Personally, we loved Annie B's delicious tarts out of all the items we have tried here so far. Bottom line, this market is definitely a must visit place if you are in New Hope. 🙌🏻

Bucks County Playhouse, a historic theater located in an old grist mill, has been a prominent entertainment hub since 1939. It has hosted renowned actors such as Grace Kelly and Angela Lansbury. The playhouse offers a diverse range of performances including musical revivals, dramas, children's shows, live music, and stand-up comedy. In addition to its entertainment offerings, the playhouse is surrounded by beautiful scenery that visitors can enjoy while taking in a show.
Ventured to Bucks County Playhouse on the draw from the Leader of the Pack show. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the show, atmosphere, hospitality, and the On the Deck restaurant after the show. Talented cast and genuine good time! Great story flow, musical and dancing!!! Total seratonin surge experience! Shoot out to our superb waiter Ryan! GF options are available! 🎉🎊

Whats with the staff strobing their flashlights in the audience over, and over, and over during the show? Unbelievable behavior and volume of interruptions. I didn't take my phone out once but certainly was aware when anyone else did because of your STAFF. Extremely excessive with the interruptions and blinking flashlights in patrons’ faces. I have never seen such aggressive behavior at a theater. I will not return to this venue for this and other reasons, including the terrible view. Show and audience were fine.

I was lucky enough to score tickets for one of the final Rocky Horror shows starring Frankie Grande, and what an experience! This was my first time at this theater, and I loved the intimate setting. Every seat felt like a great seat. The set design and scene transitions were fantastic, and the talent on stage was absolutely shining. The audience participation was everything you’d hope for. People were shouting the classic one-liners, plus a few fun modern twists that had everyone laughing. The goodie bag with rice, a newspaper, and cards was such a fun touch! The best part came at the end when every attendee was invited on stage to “do the Time Warp” with the cast. It was organized, energetic, and so much fun! Frankie Grande was incredibly gracious, he met every fan outside afterward for photos and autographs, taking his time with each person. He was warm, sincere, and clearly grateful for everyone who came. I also want to give a huge shout-out to the theater staff. During “The Time Warp,” a guest had a medical emergency. The house lights came on immediately, clear instructions were given, and within seconds, two doctors in the audience stepped in to help. The situation was handled with incredible professionalism and compassion. After a brief intermission, the show resumed, and we were later told that the guest was going to be OK, which was such a relief to hear. Thank you to the cast, crew, and staff for creating such a memorable and heartfelt night. I’ll never forget it!

Date of Visit: Sat Aug 19, 2023 We came to Buck’s county to see a show at the Buck’s County Playhouse – The Bridges of Madison County starring the great Broadway star, Kate Baldwin. The area around the theatre is absolutely beautiful. The theatre is situated right on the Delaware river overlooking New Jersey. The theatre is a renovated historic gristmill right on the water. The seating is nice and comfortable – with a little leg room – its not too tight. The stage is easily seen from most seats without issue – as the theatre is small-ish. The sound quality if fantastic - we heard every word and song as clear as can be. I am glad we came to see this show because otherwise I don’t think I would have known about the town of New Hope and what a charming and historic little town it is.

Nice theater with friendly staff. The well directed show featured talented actors. Drinks were fairly priced, not the cheapest but not as expensive as NYC shows. **The one thing you must know, GET THERE EARLY, PARKING IS AN ISSUE. Fortunately New Hope is a cute little town, so you can always stroll through some shops to kill time or get lunch or dinner before the show.

Nestled in the heart of New Hope, Pennsylvania, The Salt House is a charming tavern housed in a historic stone building dating back to 1751. This establishment offers an upscale yet cozy atmosphere where patrons can enjoy creative and elevated pub fare made with seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients.
While visiting New Hope, PA on a beautiful fall afternoon, we found our way to this old an interesting restaurant that sits inside a pre-revolutionary war building. The small establishment makes the best use of it’s quirky space, using the upstairs and downstairs with centuries old staircases and rooms. The service is very friendly if not the most professional but they try hard in the strangest of restaurant conditions. We started with a couple of their cold and delicious draft beers from their vast list of beer, wine and cocktail choices. We then went with their cheese and meat charcuterie, which was huge, containing three delicious cheeses, soppresata, grapes, almonds, honey and toasted bread, very nicely done. We then had the steak frites, the small steak was excellent and cooked perfectly rare, the fries were homemade and tasty. I went with the crab cakes served with a brandy cream sauce, loaded with thick claw meat, one of the best that I have ever had !! The crab cakes were accompanied by some fresh tiny asparagus spears and were cooked superbly. All in all a very nice meal in an unforgettable setting.

This used to be my favorite eatery in New Hope. I have eaten here countless numbers of time. The food and cocktails were amazing. The place is quaint and cozy with both upstairs seating on couches and a nice outside area. I recently went here on a date and the food was subpar. The waiter with the long hair is amazing. He was attentive and friendly. By far the best part of this experience. Other staff members presented to the table serving food and were unable to answer basic questions due to language barriers. The food this time around was bland. The octopus was awful. The meatball sauce was too sweet. The oysters arrived in a puddle of water instead of on ice. I was embarrassed that I had recommended this place. I’m not sure what has happened over the last few months as this is my go to place but I will not be returning.

Fancy-ish dining in a beautiful, small, colonial period building. The food is good, but in my opinion, does not justify the pricing (over $30 for nearly every entree). A few standouts were the lower priced snacks we got (~$10 each): charred Brussels sprouts and deviled eggs. Dessert was thankfully, excellent. The cocktail I ordered turned out to be the wateriest drink I’ve ever had, but the server was professional enough to take it off the check. The other cocktails on the menu were nearly all Vodka based and rather uninteresting, but the wine was great. The atmosphere inside is outstanding; a real highlight. I would come back, though for a special occasion given the cost. I advise against the cocktails.

Planned a trip to visit new Hope and made a reservation for dinner. Went on a Monday night and it wasn't too busy. The place is quaint but has plenty of different seating options. The service was good, could have been better but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Cocktails were very strong and the food was tasty but wasn't worth the price. Ordered the duck meatballs and they came out cold in the center. All of the entrees sounded great on the menu but lacked flavor, depth, and had temperature issues. My scallops were overcooked and vegetables were on the greasy side. Overall, if you want to splurge I would recommend getting some drinks and snacks and you will have a great experience!

We decided to try The Salt House in New Hope while spending the afternoon in town. The outdoor seating was nice, and it was a perfect day for it. We ordered the wedge salad, lamb chop lollipops, and Maryland twin crab cakes — all were pretty solid. The food was good for what it was, the service was great, and the atmosphere was just right. If you’re looking for a nice spot without needing a reservation at one of the higher-end restaurants nearby, this is definitely worth a visit.

After walking the streets of new Hope, I was scouring online for a reservation I could make for lunch, as we were supposed to go to peddlers Village that day. I didn’t see any availability for salt, however, the restaurant was just across the street so we decided to take a peek. I noticed quite a few tables on the exterior patio were available, however, my girlfriends, and I always prefer to sit at the bar, and being that they had just opened there were plenty of seats available at their small bar. We sat down and almost immediately noticed our bartender seemed a little perturbed. Not by us, but she seems quite overwhelmed, making cocktails for the tables that were already seated. We really weren’t acknowledged at all, for probably a good three minutes. We actually just kind of kept looking at each other, almost afraid to say anything to the bartender. Shortly, after that, we were finally acknowledged, she explained she was very busy, trying to catch up, and would be with us shortly. We exchanged quick jokes with her, which seems to put her slightly at ease with us. After that, she had overheard us girls discussing certain drink drinks on the menu, and while she was still working on other orders, she started answering our questions. We each try two different cocktails while we were there, none of us have anything bad to say about the drinks, in fact, we enjoyed them thoroughly. And I should also mention, not long after our first drinks were made, the bartender was caught up and finally started engaging with us, and even cracked a smile. I asked her what I should order for lunch and she told me that they have the best burger in new Hope so of course I took her word for it! Man, she was not exaggerating, in fact, it might have been the best burger I have ever eaten in my entire 46 years of life. My girlfriend asked for a piece and it looks could kill, she would’ve been 6 feet under. My other girlfriend ordered a salad, God help her, she said she liked it. I’m not taking away any points for that because it’s a salad and that was a bad move on her part for even trying to eat healthy. All in all, I would absolutely go back to salt in a heartbeat, it might have been my favorite meal that entire weekend. And what made our visit even sweeter is knowing that when we left, we felt like we had not only cracked that rigid bartender, but I’d like to think we all really enjoyed & appreciated each others company!

My partner and I reserved a table for the wrong day and they were still able to get us in on a Saturday night! Great portions for snacks and appetizers along with a large selection of wine and spirits. The servers were delightful and knowledgeable. Somewhat inconsistent with check ins but to be expected on a Saturday 5pm rush. Will be returning!

The Playhouse Deck Restaurant and Bar at Bucks County Playhouse is a new addition to the area, offering great views and gastropub fare. Located behind the landmark playhouse, it provides riverside dining with Mediterranean-inspired dishes including house-made pasta, salads, and fish entrees. The chef-driven menus are creative and complement the liveliness of the theater. Visitors have praised the restaurant for its fantastic drinks and outstanding food, as well as its incredible nighttime views.
First time is this area and everything was just amazing! Heard about this place so had to check it out. Let’s just say the food was outstanding. Very flavorful and tasty. The views at night are just incredible. Definitely have to go back and try different dishes, the staff was very attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend going! FYI- drinks are very good!

Had an amazing meal with my ladies at Playhouse in New Hope, and it was such a treat! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and great service. The ambiance was cozy and stylish, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed yet special brunch. The food was fantastic, but I have to say, the drinks were absolutely delicious—they really knew how to mix up a good cocktail! The staff made sure we had everything we needed, and the overall vibe was so welcoming. After our meal, we got to stroll around New Hope, which added a nice touch to the day. If you're looking for a great place to eat in a charming town, Playhouse in New Hope is a must-visit! Can't wait to return!

Had a great night with my friend last night! Made a reservation over the phone with a nice hostess and was offered choices on where we could be seated. Got there a few minutes late but there was no issue made. Immediately got sat and offered an upgraded seat to the deck directly overlooking the river. Our server, Amy, was so friendly and attentive to us. Drinks and food came out quick. Food was good but we personally didn't like their signature cocktails too much so we ordered cosmos after and they were perfect. Great night, We'll definitely be returning!

Perfect and delicious lunch out with a million-dollar river view for Father's Day. Nice selection of items: Lots of appetizers, burgers, tacos, chicken, salads, specials, soup of the day, other vegan and more! Moderately priced (we were there for a special celebration), every sale benefits the Bucks County Playhouse. Looks like a good selection of mixed drinks, wine and beer. Pix of current menu attached. Can 100% recommend the roasted cauliflower bites, baked ricotta, burgers, scallops, fried eggplant and halloumi cheese over greens, and the greens and grains salad (spinach base) with plain fried warm chicken fingers on top. Large portions except for scallops. Attentive service, relaxed casual atmosphere, clean restrooms. Wonderful selection of desserts: we loved the special dessert warm whiskey butter bread and Gelato and the espresso affogato with chocolate covered espresso beans.

We had an excellent time watching some games at the bar! The service is second to none. We really enjoyed the pretzel bites, steak tacos, and cheese steak panini. They were really good to our kids too.

Omg!!! When you go, ask for Ryan!! We went for lunch on a rainy Saturday and our server Ryan was the bomb dot com!! He was absolutely hilarious and entertaining! He really made our first time at this wonderful water view establishment an absolutely amazing experience! I had the salmon Caesar salad with olives, and that’s where the hilarity began! My BFF had the goddess sandwich with fries. Both looked delicious. Coffee chip gelato topped off the meal! Please try this restaurant and ask for Ryan!

We love new hope and make it a point to eat here when we go. The view and setting is really beautiful right by the Delaware River There are lights at night and enough seating around, the outdoor bar also is open when it’s nice out

We had lunch this afternoon before The Rocky Horror Show. All of the food was so delicious. I had the Cheesesteak Panini -- usually I am a pretty fast eater but the flavors were so savory that I took my time to enjoy every bite! Same with the Broadway Burger, it was very tasty and the sauce that was on it was amazing. We also had the Soup of the Day, which was Broccoli Cheddar and it was so good, and you could tell homemade fresh! The waitress was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Peruvian restaurant
Lima Fusion is a must-visit spot in the heart of the New Hope tourist area, offering fresh and authentic Peruvian cuisine. The ceviche is particularly outstanding, with perfectly blended flavors that make every bite a delight. The Chicken Anticuchero and puff pastry camarones empanadas are also highly recommended dishes. Despite being busy, the counter service is efficient and handles food allergies competently. The Chica Morada beverage is worth trying as well.
Delicious empanadas and you can’t beat the price $3,75. The empanadas were fresh straight from the oven.

Wasn’t the first but will be the last for us to come to Lima fusion. Today we actually came down to New Hope from Peddler Village just to have Peruvian food in here because a year or two year ago we had lunch and was good. But today it was really disappointing even my gringo husband knows which better and which wasn’t. He got lomo saltado like always. Everytime we were in Peruvian restaurants because he ordered that, is his favorite dish. So seems they cuts back on sauces in every dish they have. Lomo saltado was dry and they didn’t use French fries like it’s should. They use cubes fried potatoes. I got myself bistec a la pobre from today special, first of all the price is not match with the writing boards and their flyers (see pics attached) lomo saltado price and empanadas I asked them she said $3.75 in the board & flyers $3.50. Back talking about the food, the steaks was cold and lots of fats all around the meat definitely overpriced for $24.50 the writing board written $23.50. Papa huancaina wasn’t steamed potatoes, they were the same potatoes as they used on lomo saltado (similar like home fries but bigger size) and I didn’t see any boiled eggs at all also they should be covered with yellow sauce but like I said before they cut back their sauces, they being cheap and charged more money. I’ll give 2 stars just because the seasoning taste is good and the lady that work at the cashier was friendly. Well you’ll lost one customer today. We will not going back here, we almost spent $70 and unhappy customer. Good luck!

I ordered the fried plantains with chicken which also comes with salad, pico de gallo and guacamole. It was very good. The plantains were light, perfectly crisp and nicely salted. The chicken was just okay. Although it was heavily seasoned, the flavor didn’t blow me away Next were the empanadas. Not impressed. The dough had some good texture but the fillings were dry and bland. My grandmother can make better. I had the beef and the chorizo with cheese. I’ll skip these next time Finally, the beef arepas was excellent. The white corn tortillas seemed homemade and the meat was expertly cooked and seasoned. A refreshing chicha morada accompanied my meal. I will be back but I think I’ll skip the empanadas
Adam N — Google review
I came to this place with high expectations and got disappointed. It is seems that somebody just learning how to cook prepare our food. There was no flavor and also watery the lomo saltado. Ají de gallina is a dish that has to be prepared in advanced otherwise is not worth buying. The restaurant should have some ready to go Ají de Gallina for the ones that buy this dish. I have to be honest with my review because if they need to be on business they need to give a quality food.
Olga S — Google review
Customer service is lacking, lady tried to charge us for an empanadas that we paid for and she forgot. If we didn’t have the receipt she would’ve tried to scam us. Food was amazing though.
Sofia D — Google review
I’m really disappointed the empanadas were terrible “Chicken empanada” was very dry “Beef Empanada” had slight seasoning and the “Chorizo & Cheese” well let’s just say there was only cheese. The Mexican street corn was ehh the corn wasn’t sweet and the over powering of the sauce killed it. The best part about my lunch was the pastry wrap for the empanadas.
Tony S — Google review
Awesome counter service food in the heart of the New Hope tourist strip. We tried the Chicken Anticuchero and the puff pastry camarones empanadas and loved both dishes - and the little pico salad was fabulous. The Chica Morada beverage was definitely worth the price as well. And, they handled my food allergy competently and without any fuss, although did need a reminder and a remake during a busy lunch rush. It was challenging to find a place to sit at a busy time, but we did. The two of us ate and were happily full with no leftovers for $31.01 after a 20% tip.

As a Peruvian family in America, we think peruvian foods here in the states tend to vary in quality and authenticity much like any other foreign food. I can say the food here was AMAZING and met all my expectations and then some! The only food I believe was a little too thick for our liking were the tamales served, but everything else was prime! Seen here was the chicha morada (which I had mixed with an Estate Blush found in the bar nearby - great bartender and drinks there as well), lomo saltado, and tamales (though don't miss trying the camarones!)

American restaurant
Ferry + Main is a newly opened American restaurant and bar located in the heart of historic New Hope, Pennsylvania. Housed in the Logan Inn, this establishment offers a unique dining experience with indoor-outdoor bar Good & Plenty and a Whiskey Lounge. The restaurant is known for its outstanding service and delicious food, making it a popular choice for special celebrations.
This place was amazing! So beautiful inside with great and friendly staff alongside delicious food. We were there for busy Labor Day but it was an awesome experience. They were accommodating to my disabled mom and made sure she was comfortable while we waited for our table to be ready. The kitchen was open and you could see the goings on which was very cool. We came for lunch and I got the burger which was cooked perfectly. We also got a side of brussel sprouts and they were delicious. An overall great experience.

It has a beautiful atmosphere, great service, wonderful presentation, and delicious food. The fresh oysters and tilefish were spectacular. The ribeye special was excellent, although some of the side dishes were a bit salty for my taste. The restrooms were nice and clean, and the lounge downstairs had fun vibes. I had a wonderful experience.

My wife and I went to New Hope for a day trip. The weather was a warm fall day and we stopped at the Logan Inn for lunch. What attracted us was all the outside seating which we were interested in. It was a Saturday, so it was busy with 1/2 hour wait. We decided not to wait and went inside to the bar to have lunch. The inside barwas open to the outside with a nice breeze blowing in. We ordered drinks and sandwiches. Everything was fresh and prepared well and we both really enjoyed our meal. We ordered more drinks and took our time enjoying ourselves in the beautiful bar setting. We will keep the Landmark Tavern on our list to hit again.

A Perfect Recipe for Romance and Remarkable Dining We couldn’t have chosen a better spot to celebrate our 20th anniversary! Our evening began with cocktails under the stars before moving inside for an incredible vibe (and a welcome break from the mosquitoes). Our waiter, Ryan, was exceptional—sharing his favorite recommendations (each one spot-on) and striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us space to savor the night. The restaurant itself is sprawling with style—sumptuous leather sofas, a lively bar overflowing with Good & Plenty candies (a nod to their playful name), and an array of freshly baked cookies, individually wrapped and perfectly paired with cappuccino. Even with a wedding happening at the same time, we felt like we had our own private oasis. The valet service is equally impressive—you simply text when you’re ready, and your car appears. This isn’t just dinner—it’s a destination. Not to be missed!

June 29, 2025 - 6 for dinner Lifelong friends and wives out for a nice dinner. Its been decades since I dined in New Hope. We ordered (pictures herein) the miso salmon, 2 orders of the pork chop, 2 orders of the baked Brussel sprouts, a watermelon salad, and I got the hearty roasted beet salad. ALL of these entrees were fantastic product and ingredients, prepared well, and served in a visually and enjoyable way. Portions were reasonable. The watermelon salad was VERY good with a little spice. The Brussel sprout app was tasty and not an oily dripping mess!! My variety of beets were also perfect and el dente and nicely seasoned. As other have noted the drink pricing is insane and the entree are also fairly high. Negating some high cost alcohol our bill was OVER $120 per person (and I don't drink?) Valet parking was an annoying addition as the place was EMPTY as the pre 4th weekend and everybody down the Jersey shore for the week. Not sure a return visit is in the future, it was great to see the place, but the value and enjoyment ratio just was not there? For an occasion or where cost is not a concern it would be good.

Logan Inn offers expanded seating after renovation. Good food (we tried pear salad, calamari, and salmon rye toast). Well-laid out tables and bars. Has basement movie theater and party room plus restrooms, with elevator that works sometimes. Could be improved by adding restrooms on main floor.

Whenever we visit PA, we always take a trip to New Hope. We absolutely LOVE The Landmark Tavern. This was our first time visiting during their “happy hour” (for lack of a better term) they had small bites available and WOW!!! They were amazing!!! We had one of each thing on their menu, all was delicious. But the charcuterie board stood out above the rest. Absolutely amazing, as was the delicious and perfectly made lemon drop martini!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ferry and Main in New Hope with my dad and sister, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The ambiance was just perfect, with a cozy yet sophisticated vibe that made us feel right at home. For my meal, I decided to go with a salad that featured some of the most amazing shrimp I've ever tasted. Yes, it was a bit on the pricey side, but let me tell you, it was worth every penny. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, and they truly elevated the entire dish. It's not often that a salad leaves such a lasting impression, but this one certainly did. My dad and sister also thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and we all agreed that the food quality and presentation were top-notch. We spent the evening chatting and laughing, soaking in the delightful atmosphere and savoring every bite. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. In short, Ferry and Main exceeded our expectations in every way. If you're looking for a place with great food, a fantastic atmosphere, and a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s a spot that we will definitely be returning to!

Martine's RiverHouse Restaurant is a charming yellow house located in historic New Hope, offering European-style cuisine with a focus on meat and seafood. The restaurant boasts stunning river views and provides an ideal setting for special occasions. With a full bar and sommelier-selected wines, Martine's offers an inspired menu featuring artisanal plating. Guests can enjoy dining in the classic wood-adorned bar or on the two-tier outdoor patio overlooking the Delaware River.
This is a nice river view restaurant with good food! We had an amazing lunch here. We ordered the cozy autumn soup, crab cake sandwich, lobster roll, and burger. The soup was surprisingly good, and the crab cake sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. The lobster roll was just okay, but everything else made up for it. It was a great experience overall, but one thing to note is that they don’t have cups for kids. They serve water in glass jars, which isn’t ideal for little ones. Still, we enjoyed our visit and would recommend it for the food and the lovely view.

Came for a midweek dinner. It was nice because it was quiet and we were able to enjoy a nice meal out on the water with a pretty view. Food is reasonably priced and servings size are plenty. We ordered chicken and steak entree but the Mac and cheese app was probably our favorite.

A remarkable restaurant serving American cuisine with a side of friendly service. The picturesque views along the river are wonderful and there is both inside and outside dining. The deviled eggs and crab sandwich were amazing. Helpful Hint: Great place to have a meal before or after a performance at the Buck County Playhouse. We had a delightful lunch and then enjoyed a short walk to the theater.

Our first time here and it was very good. We sat outside on the deck with a view of the river and New Jersey acrossed it. The service was very good, friendly, and our food and drinks came in a timely manner. Prices are on.point, the food was delicious. The fried green tomatoes with shrimp and thick cut bacon, was awesome! The fries were not bad, a bit too crunchy, but the garlic aeoli was outstanding. If you've ever in New Hooe, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

March. Monday dinner reservation. Welcomed at the door and shown to a table with a river view. Great wait staff. Food was superb! Delicious and abundant. Great selection of wines by the glass. This restaurant was recommended by our B&B host. Would highly recommend to my friends and would go again whenever I am in town. Really enjoyed ourselves.

Great service. Awesome food. Great place to celebrate an occasion. Amazing river view and river side tables. Loved grilled octopus. Great and helping staff. Accommodate special requests. One of kind place to be in New Hope area. Must visit.

You can’t beat dining outside along the river on an absolutely beautiful fall evening. We both enjoyed the wild boar ribs, did not taste gamey at all. The cod and steak were good. Prices are reasonable. An oasis amidst the craziness in town!
Charles Z — Google review
We booked an indoor table for the evening and after we arrived, they told us they only had outside tables for our time. They said they do not book specific tables, only what's available. We had to wait for a table instead, luckily, this did not take too long, since I kept telling my husband for us to go somewhere else. The restaurant was very loud and my husband had to wait to get a 2nd beer for quite a while. The hummus appetizer came with VERY deeply fried, burned pita bread. The salmon in my dish was a very good size and tasted fine, but the red lentils side was anything special. My husband dish, the mushroom ravioli tasted great, but it wasn't a lot of food!! We ordered desert, the berry pie with a side of vanilla ice cream. This tasted fine, but this restaurant is CHEAP. They couldn't even give us a good amount of vanilla ice cream! It was like they took a melon ball scoop to serve us that ice cream. This is our last time here for sure. Go somewhere else.
