Had visited this place several years back and it was amazing! Definitely looks run down now, no line on a Saturday evening should have been a sign. The best thing was the burger patties themselves. Nothing else seemed fresh, especially the sides. The cheese fries were the worst. The employees weren't especially friendly and the floors were dirty/sticky. Will not return.

Very nice and casual place. Variety of pickle slices. We got a Classic Hamburger. Downside is you have to buy fries separately. Signature of this place is multiple meat types - bison, lamb, boar, deer, pork. Also very good shakes and a root beer float using soft-serve custard. They have bar seats at tables and typical table seating plus outdoor tables under cover. I use a knee-scooter for mobility and it was easy to roll to bathrooms plus inside. The downside is you have to stand in line to order.

Best burger ive had here. I got the millionaire and it was delicious. Perfect bun and the beef was full of flavor. The whole vibe here is awesome and there's even a bar. Highly recommend this place for a solid meal and prices are very good.

I come here every time I come through San Angelo because they are pretty good! They have really good happy hour prices for alcoholic beverages! They have a ton of burgers to choose from and even offer a build your own burger option with exotic meat choices if you can’t decide! I got the “gosh jam it” and it was amazing! I also got the fried ride as I wanted to sample all the fried goods they had to offer! The fried green beans in their chipotle ranch was absolutely amazing! Do miss out on their homemade pickles and condiments as well!!!! The atomic pickle was my favorite and their chipotle ketchup is to die for!

This. Was. Devine. Forgot to take a photo right away, it had like yummy burnt marshmallows first😍😍 this is the s’mores shake! Wish they wouldn’t charge for fries, or at least tell you so you know your $10 burger is actually $13-14. But it is definitely delicious!😋

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a Sunday and it was delicious. I enjoyed the salmon and my mother enjoyed the knife and fork burrito. I highly recommend visiting and enjoying a nice meal with family close to the wonderful art installation of a tree.

Treated to a fantastic birthday lunch to die for! The Skillet Nachos and drinks were a wonderful prelude to our main entrees. The Southern fried fish with garlic mashed potatoes was a step above and beyond our expectations. The medium rare filet was grilled perfectly, as was the antelope; both buttery tender with a demiglaze that warrants compliments to the chef.

This place is EXCELLENT!!! The food is fantastic, the service was wonderful and it is a really neat place over all. I had the 14 oz rib eye and it was perfectly cooked. My wife had the chicken fried steak and it was very good as well.

Had the meatloaf and the chicken fried chicken. This is not your grandma's food. The meatloaf had a spicy sauce on it. It was a little more than my husband cared for but he ate the whole thing. I thought it was good. The chicken fried chicken came out as 3 smaller pieces rather than one large chunk of meat. It was good too. The smaller pieces looked like it wasn't a lot of food but I almost couldn't finish it all. I did though because it was good. This place has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend.

Really loud place. Have a bar area. The lights had dust all over them. Looks like the lights and the had not been cleaned in a long time. Service was slow even though they had plenty of staff. It's a noisy place so don't recommend for a nice quite place. The good was worth it all. It is a uniquely themed restaurant and has more if a sports bar vibe. But definitely go once. I recommend the chicken fried chicken. It was delicious! I would go back just for that!

First visit was a 3 star experience. I dont remember what I got but I didnt intend to return as it felt overhyped. Im glad I had to go back because my subsequent trips were excellent. The setting is very nice and the food is great. My most recent experience was when the tacos were on special. I tried the beef and chicken ones. I think the chicken was a little better but both varieties were delicious. The rice that came along was also good but the beans were overly salty. The service is fine, everyone was friendly enough without being annoying. The angry vegan is okay- mostly avocado and some additional oiled veggies, it comes well plated and is probably quite good if youre into that. The Cajun Chicken Pasta was way better than I thought it would be. The chocolate cake we got was a nice moist chocolate but its the mexican ice cream that takes the cake here (pun not intended).

Fantastic service! Our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. The food was hot, wonderful, and melt in your mouth delicious! As a San Angelo native, I will be back again and again!

I have been to San Angelo a thousand times each of my adult years(which is a lot) and I can’t understand why I have never tried this place until now. This is very good food. Fresh, hot and fast , I couldn’t believe how authentic it was. The hot sauce had a good “bite to it”, the beans had great flavor and the enchilada sauce was as authentic as it comes. The rice wasn’t my favorite but I didn’t care. I could do without the Guiso Burrito next time. Although the meat was extremely tender, it was very big chunks and over seasoned for my taste. The two fresh homemade tacos made this a perfect lunch. As good as the food was, the service was better. Our waitress was tremendously nice and attentive. She was always “Jonny on the spot” , drinks were never empty and checked on us the entire visits. What a great attitude. I was here for a work lunch break, I can’t wIt to bring the wife here, she will love it.

My wife and I are born and raised in San Angelo, and today was the first time we tried Fuentes. The host was very polite and we had Martha as our server and she was so sweet and friendly. I ordered the carnitas al la mexicana and it was very tender, cooked to order and very delicious w actual flour tortillas and not store bought kind that have that funny smell. My wife had the bacon cheese burger and it was huge but delicious not at all greasy. We ended our meal w the deep friend cheesecake, and it was TOP TIER. Presented very beautifully. We were very tired of same old Tex-Mex restaurants in town but I’m so glad we tried Fuentes. We will definitely come back again and bring our family and definitely will ask for Martha again.

My team and I went to Fuentes Café in San Angelo to celebrate a coworker’s birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The service was excellent from start to finish, and Mr. Fuentes himself even stopped by our table to check on us. When we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert and a thoughtful card for our coworker. It was such a kind and unexpected gesture that made the afternoon feel extra special. We left with full hearts (and full stomachs)! Decent food and good atmosphere but the bartender serving us has a horrible attitude. Also mandated gratuity for groups? Yeah not leaving a tip, you stole your tip. Horrible business practice and even if food was amazing and service excellent wouldn't rate over 3 ⭐ or return just because of that.

Went to eat there a couple weeks ago Martha was the sweetest. She came up to our table with a smile and that smile stayed on her face The whole time. Highly recommend

It's very sensory overload but it has everything you can think of. Huge coffee beans that the will grind for you. So coffee lovers will love this place. They also have a lot of jewelry and charm items. Home goods and fun items. They have candy and jelly beans you can select and enjoy. They don't give any military discount.

Great old-timey general store! Candy, candles, toys, puzzles, cookware, kitchen specialty items, specialty coffee and teas, a Christmas section, women's boutique items, men's specialty items, various flavors of honey, etc. Lots of items in every price range.

There was more store than I was expecting There is three different buildings to the right high end jewelry and normal gifts. The center was your normal gifts and a nice book section in the corner. The left was high end cook pans and normal pans good selection of season and bean mixes. Looking forward to another visit

Beautiful store! Well organized and kept. Most staff were welcoming and friendly. They have so many beautiful things to look at. If I were a local, this would be a place I would shop for unique gifts. It's a little pricey but it's nice to have these options available.

This was such an awesome store. If the decorations alone don't put a smile on your face, the polite staff surely will. The store is huge with so much to look at, and delicious treats. I'd recommend getting a sample of Bubba D's BBQ sauce. I went with the family, and we all had a blast

Terrible experience! I have never been treated so rudely! I was trying out a jewelry cleaner that had "try me" on the lid. My son noticed this older lady staring me down, but didn't want to assume the worst so he didn't say anything to me. Once I noticed her glaring at me, I smiled and got an ugly look in return. Since she was looking straight at me and not saying a word, I asked her if everything was okay and she just responded with "I guess.". I explained to her that I was trying out the tester to see if I wanted to buy it and if there was an issue and she said " I guess not since you already used it.". I was so confused about her terrible attitude, but I finally caught on that I was not welcome for some reason. I'm not sure if she is this rude to everyone or if she just didn't like the way I looked. I just let her know I had came in looking to buy a gift, but they did not need my business and we were leaving. She mumbled something else, but I couldn't make out what she said. She then followed me to the front. Will never step foot in there again. This lady does not need to be dealing with the public with that terrible attitude of hers. Extremely appalled on how I was treated.

Museum of Fine Arts. I visited this museum a few years ago and returned to see the room that highlighted a local artisan, but it is no longer there, so I was disappointed. However, the picture of The Vision of St. Francis by Cristobal De Villalpando from 1695 made the visit to the art museum worth it.

Such a nice art museum. They have 2 floors and a cute gift shop. For now, the bottom floor is western themed art, and the top is a collection of hats from around the world. Cheap tickets, and a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Loved that the entry to the museum was free! It is small but has some really beautiful exhibits! Great place for all ages to enjoy! The mixed media and sculptures were definitely my favorite part of the museum! I hope to see it expand more one day as the artwork there is magnificent!

Admission was free so I can’t complain! Only took about 40 minutes to look at all the exhibits. I loved the focus on local artists. But I honestly like the street art better found in Paintbrush Alley and Art in Uncommon Places!

Really good find for me in San Angelo close to their river walk. It’s mostly a pottery place and not a lot of selection or broad spectrum but lots of cute local artists to see. Very quaint, small town art feel.

Fun funky place, Victorian decor. Had the chicken salad salad- a goid sized scoop of chicken salad with salad greens on the side. The roasted garlic vingarette was house-made and delicious. Unsweet peach tea was great too. Fanastic value for $8.50. Orher selections on the menu were reasonably priced as well. Lots of locals dining there

It's an older historic bldg that has a slight moldy dusty smell to it. It's an older place so the shops next to it have the same smells. It is a very niche place. Food was okay. Prices were very reasonable. It's a good area for dining and shopping. It would be a good place to stop and have a drink. Staff was very friendly and service was fast.

This was an amazing experience and just what I wanted for a special night with my wife. Food and cocktail portions presentation and flavors were off the chart! I wish we lived closer!!

Fun place that taps into the historical background of the building and surrounding area. By far the best food my coworker and I have had in San Angelo! Started out with a light salad and fluffy buttered rolls, and ee both appreciated that the salad was actually an appropriate size for a started and not a huge bowl that is a meal in and of itself. I had the pecan encrusted trout with rice and seasonal vegetables and it was extremely good. The orange sauce was heavenly! The wedding cake martini was a great addition, flavors were perfect and it packed a pinch without being too boozy. To top it off, prices were slightly cheaper or comparable to similar places we've eaten at in San Angelo. Would recommend, and plan to come back!

Amazing shop! Nothing but great things to say about them!!! First, the shop is just as beautiful as the chocolates themselves! The layout in the shop is perfect, in my opinion. The displays of chocolates, brittles, and more are gorgeous! I love how much work they put into the designs of their chocolates! It’s a beautiful work of edible art! Second, the chocolates are incredibly delicious! Their truffles, brittle, chocolate bars, coffee buzz, and more are just perfection! I am addicted to them all! They have plenty of truffles & more, packed and ready to purchase so it’s so quick and easy if you’d like to gift something to someone special or take it home for yourself! You also get a western wisdom card & a rose with your purchase so that really adds to the whole experience in itself, if you ask me. Lastly, the staff, no matter who is there on whatever day I have gone, they’re so genuinely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Whether you’re a first timer or a regular, they greet you like an old friend! It’s really not just a shop, it’s an experience as well! I never really cared for chocolate, my daughter and I walked in here for the first time and the way the guy at the front greeted us, he was so welcoming and so kind. He let us sample some things and wow! I bought several. We left woth a rose, bag of delicious chocolates and western words of wisdom . I will be back at least once a month! This place is a MUST!

The best artisanal chocolates I've ever had! I make a point to stop by Cowboy-Up every time I visit San Angelo. The staff is super friendly and helpful - every time I go, they treat me like family. The chocolates are reasonably priced and delicious, and many of their products are gluten free. They will even gift wrap them for you and have many prepackaged options!

One of my favorite shops in the downtown San Angelo area! I love to stop here for the perfect hostess gift. In town or out it is always well received. Who doesn't love chocolate! The Texas shapes make it unique!

The guy who owns it wasn't open yet when we walked up, but he was out front working in his truck. When he saw us he quickly offered to let us in. He was friendly and engaging and the chocolate is amazing. Highly recommend

I come here every day after work to try new chocolates and I am never disappointed. Charlie (owner) is very kind and always seems happy to see customers. Best chocolate in town. They give out their business cards with “western wisdom” on them, and give out paper roses to everyone who comes in, every time they come in. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

No i see why they have salt in the name.of the restaurant. I ordered a burger boy i tell you...it was salty, that is about all I could taste, the patty alone was super dry. The staff were amazing and the place is beautiful. We also ordered the develed eggs, they were okay.

Second time here, Nice concept. Drinks are good. The food was not good again! came for brunch The chicken and waffles was disappointing. The waffle very dense and dry no flavor chicken overcooked no flavor whatsoever. The side of cheesy grits very plain and clumpy. Did not even eat half of any of it…. A waste of money. Safe to say this place is only good for Cocktails.

If I could do 0 stars for the food I would. Tuna on the tuna nachos was old//dark// left out and did not taste good. When we received the scallop angel hair and surf and turf it reeked of food poisoning. Did not smell delicious, fresh, like normal seafood. It was such a strong unpleasant smell that was an instant turn off. Did not eat our meals- instantly let our server know which he was so helpful and did not charge us for our meals. EDIT: Edit to say- our meals were not remade because we did not want them to be remade. We chose to leave. They did comp our meals and we only paid for our alcoholic beverages and we did tip our waiter (it was not his fault). *Our waiter also mentioned that we were not the first to complain and send back the surf and turf meal that SAME day.***

My first time here since they’ve opened and let’s just say it was ok. Their urban burger is not the best I’ve ever had. All was good until I reached the middle. It was so over cooked that the meat was hardened over. The cheese bread appetizer was this huge piece of basically garlic bread with melted cheese and spices. It was good but I would’ve preferred something a little more classy, being that they refer themselves as a fine dining restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice and fancy but I don’t think I’ll be joining them for dinner anytime again soon.

Visited on a Wednesday night, and it was really jumping. The music was super fun, and the bartenders were in their game. The bar has some allocated bourbon, but I was surprised at the cost of the Eagle Rare. The chorizo deviled eggs were fantastic; the salmon with creamy noodles was also very good. I should have stopped there, but the recommended desert was a nice touch.

Passing through town and we decided to stop for a sweet treat. The place smells like homemade waffle cones. YUM! They have unique flavors of ice cream and offer free tasters to help you pick your perfect flavor. My son wasn’t in the mood for ice cream so he ordered a fresh lemonade with peach (they have multiple flavors). He said it was really good. If we ever stop again I’ll try the black cherry lemonade. The most delicious, exquisite, delightful ice cream I have ever had. It's made on-site with the best ingredients and served in a fun, quaint little ice cream shoppe. This is a one of kind experience, and I would encourage people of all ages, whether you be local or a tourist, check this place out! This ice cream shop has to be my favorite thing about San Angelo. Their ice cream is so rich and creamy. I have yet to try a flavor that I don’t like, but my favorite is the cookie butter in a cinnamon waffle cone!

We booked the latest scoop for my granddaughters 2nd birthday and let me tell you, it was worth every penny! Her birthday theme was 2Groovy and the atmosphere was perfect, the music and kid friendly environment were the icing on the cake! This ice cream and all the extras we the most delicious! Atmosphere is super cute and the ice cream is always to die for. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the staff. The girls at the register obviously seemed bothered that someone walked in and didn’t hide that I was inconveniencing them by being there. I asked a question and just got a nod as a response. Just a strange experience.

The place had a nice vibe. If you want a diet drink you will not get it here. They only serve Coke Zero. The Deviled eggs were really good. The Chicken Caesar was soggy but the chicken had a good flavor. My husband really liked the Beef Short Rib and Mac n Cheese and the Cuban was good. We got the Pot de Crème had way too much coco powder.

The wait staff seems very professional. Well trained and attentive to your needs. I got the pizza and had way too much crust in the form of what you might call the bones. It was a Chorizo Pizza and it was delicious. The slice of avocado on each slice really gives a creamy punch to the pizza. It has a very nice decor inside but I did not find the seats comfortable for eating because you're in more of a relaxed posture. Too trendy...

Best meal in San Angelo! They have a small menu but it’s well curated. Small beer list, small wine list and small apps / entre list. But the experience is phenomenal. I got the chicken sandwich - lightly fried and with coleslaw and chatter - very flavorful. Cesar salad was fresh. Mother Earth IPA from San Angelo was ohenomenal.

Fortunate to discover this place within walking distance from my hotel. Restaurant looks very inviting inside and out. Walking in I felt welcomed and every staff member was pleasant. The menu had all great choices but I chose the mahi tacos with parm mash potatoes. The presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious. I was very happy with my choice. For dessert I had the beignets. They were amazing Best I’ve ever eaten by far! The portions were just right and the prices were fair. I came in for lunch and I’ll be back for dinner. Highly recommend!

So I didn’t take a picture before I started eating so my food is half gone. But anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Went out all yesterday and tried a few spots and they were decent, nothing major. Came here for brunch and everything I had was delicious. And let’s talk about the beignets… my people are from New Orleans so we know good beignets and these… neck and neck. Minus the drizzle. The caramel was not my favorite. The brunch hash was delicious. Our server was Seyanna and she was great. Very helpful and honest about the food. Everything she recommended was worth the buy. No complaints. Also, if you get the brunch cork and pork hash, get the green salsa with it. It hits!

Rebecca was very helpful in helping me decide what to eat. The food was well done, and she kept on checking in on us. We'll definitely be back again when in town.

Great building, coffee, and staff! Staff were excited to share their knowledge of local sites and history and we actually enjoyed visiting some places based on their suggestions. Great location for outdoor pictures and we had fun using their indoor mermaid photo prop too!

Situated right in the center of town on Hwy 87 on the Concho River. Plenty of parking. More than meets the eye. Beautiful landscaping behind building leads down to the river and a river walk that leads to art installations, pedestrian bridges and a large playground across the river. Great place for pictures and exploration for all ages. Beautiful at Christmas with light displays. Worth the visit!

A beautiful place to visit and get good info on San Angelo from two lovely ladies up front. We had our picnic outside overlooking the river listening to the waterfall.

What a beautiful place to see. We visited the Concho River Walk and it was immaculately landscaped. Beautiful stones, lush green grass, waterfalls, geese and art installations. Plenty of open spaces to relax, unwind or just think. It's the type of place for a small group of friends or to be by yourself. We went for a brief walk as it was our last stop before heading back home. But the time spent there will be peacefully everlasting.

On the concho river the san angelo visitors center is a great place to visit for area and local information. Stop and relieve the stress of your drive while you sit near plants, mini waterfalls, and statues. It is a place for all.

Came here for Mothers Day and was not let down! Caught it right there in May and it wasn’t 1 million degrees! Gorgeous collection and the variety is huge! Most only have a few but in masses. This is extensive! So many! There are some that I didn’t even know existed that I had to look up! Some even with the same name as my wife so that was special. We even ventured up towards the rose collection but most were just finishing. Either way GO! It’s free, it’s fun, and great for photo shoots! Thank you for doing such an amazing job!

A beautifully curated collection of water lilies! This is an easy stop in San Angelo. We parked at the edge of the garden and walked down. The fenced ponds made it easy to see the lilies up close, as well as the minnows, dragonflies and honey bees enjoying the scene. Trails here were pretty, but overgrown, and echoes of another time are felt everywhere. A great part of our morning all in all!

I loved experiencing this beautiful and unique garden of water lilies. I highly recommend coming to experience them in person. I did not notice a bathroom nearby so I would recommend going before you visit.

Beautiful & peaceful. Really enjoyed the large variety of plants. Its not only a lilly garden but also a butterfly & rose garden.

Just an absolutely beautiful collection. I was really surprised to find this in the middle of San Angelo. And free to boot! I'm not sure how long the flowers are out, but here in the middle of June they were blooming. My favorite were the giant Amazonian water lilly, Victoria amazonica. It was like out of a cartoon.

It was late in the year to visit but I still saw some beautiful waterlily's The park was nice and and I loved the old bridges.

Great for a free event. Something on a smaller scale where you can see it for 30 - 40 minutes. This particular event which was scheduled had free parking and kids activities

We celebrated our anniversary and visited for the first time tonight and everything was phenomenal! My steak was cooked to order and the drinks and dessert were amazing. The key lime pie was delicious and the execution and plating of everything was top tier. We definitely have added this to our list of top favorites and will happily return!

We went for the One Night Stand supper. It was a pretty good experience. I was able to go last minute with a friend & I do have some food allergies. The waitress & chef were very understanding. I was able to have another dish in place of the original mystery plate. We do now know that I can add in the notes about my food allergies next time. The atmosphere was nice & chill.

San Angelo, TX A welcoming city with a big sense of family and community. Known for its delicious local coffee, pleasant weather, and beautiful natural areas that invite you to relax and enjoy. Being the favorite restaurant of my future team, becoming one of my favorite ones too.

The staff is great and very attentive. They take great care with their specialty drinks especially their old fashioneds. The food was great and the ambiance was kinda plain but pleasant and cozy. The menu is very small- 3 appetizers, 1 salad, 5 signature dishes and this evenings dessert. They were out of the salad and one of the entrees when I showed up at 7:30pm on a Saturday so get there early if you want salad! Overall it was a nice find in the west Texas desert. Always great when you can find a chef-owned restaurant outside of the big cities.

I always make a point of coming to this restaurant when I am in San Angelo. Great food, great service, and the chef usually comes out to ask you how your meal is. A great atmosphere overall, and well worth the price.

Free dessert email sealed the deal and we couldn’t resist! Food was delicious and I love the quiet small atmosphere perfect for our date night since we don’t get many!

This was the best dining experience we've had in town since I can't remember. Better than our recent visit to Bohanan's in San Antonio in atmosphere AND food quality/uniqueness. Chef Jason is a great chef and proved it from his savory and sweet (with a hint of peppery heat), crispy pork belly to the BEST DAMNED STEAKS we've ever had. A huge thank you to the staff and Chef Jason again for the wonderful beginning to date night for my wife and me. One of the few places in town where the experience is actually worth the price.

Very neat place for a history nerd, for sure. They managed to save/re-create nearly the whole place!! Very excellent information on what it was like in late 1860s-1889... What the Buffalo Soldiers did was great!!! There's even one building that is a phone museum, with dozens of old phone and several old switchboards... 👍👍👌👌💪💪🙏🙏🙏🙏

Very interesting experience. These folks have taken care in many details to provide an authentic experience of what life in this 19th century Fort could have been like. The grounds are original and in fantastic condition. The buildings have been meticulously restored to an amazing condition. Excellent work and effort on restoration of Army equipment including cannon and livery. There is a fantastic restoration of an Infirmary and Officer's quarters. There is an interesting exhibition of antique telephone, and telegraph with some very fine antique phones on display. The entrance fee was 3$ and well worth the time to visit. Super impressed by the efforts involved here.

Awful, humiliating experience. They have several buildings at the site to explore. We came at 4pm. We were greeted properly and were warned that they would start closing buildings at 4:30pm. After we finished the visitor's center at 4:11 pm we found Barrack #5 locked, then headquarters locked... Very frustrating. Maybe there were more fun and interesting things to explore, but what we saw was not exciting at all. Though the history of phones exhibition was interesting.

We had a wonderful time taking the kids for a homeschool field trip. The people are great and very informative

It's being renovated so not everything was open. I enjoyed the Buffalo Soldier exhibit and the hospital the most. Would love to visit again. I plan on going to their Halloween activities in October.

Great museum — the buildings themselves are part of the history.

The food was ok but a little disappointing beef in the tacos and stuffed pepper had quite a bit of salt. The cheese enchilada was not creamy and melted. Salsa definitely was lacking in flavor and no heat at all. White sauce is not worth the effort. Tasted like crema with some flavor added. The server was very attentive and friendly.

Didn't get to eat any of their dishes. Just went in for a glass of ice cold sweet tea and some chips and hot sauce 😋 The place was nice and quiet and very relaxing. The waitress was very nice and smiling all the time. She made sure to check on us. The owner was also friendly. Beautiful atmosphere and staff. Good job 👏

If you try to order on the phone, the woman that works the counter will not prioritize you. She put us on hold for 15 minutes and when we tried to call back, we couldn’t get an answer because the line was busy. Any time I’ve picked up an order from here, the same woman at the counter always overcharges and is very rude. Definitely not worth your time, pick literally any other Mexican restaurant in town and you’ll get better service AND better food.

It was our monthly get together. We heard there would be singing in the restaurant. We thought we would join in the fun. Our experience was very fun and exciting. The food was delivered hot and delicious. Thumbs up to our waiter, Ashton!

Delicious and Filling. Large portions. Restaurant is showing its age but service was friendly and very fast. Restrooms were clean. A large room on the north side is ideal for large groups. Close to historic Fort Concho, the San Angelo Museum of fine arts and the river walk in downtown San Angelo. Ample parking on both East and west sides of restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.

This was a decent place, shows a little age but food was generally good. The queso for appetizer was nothing special, more like rehydrated cheese dip and very runny. Entrees were decent, good enchiladas, fajitas were over cooked and service was lacking. When we went there wasn't very many other patrons their but service was subpar. Not a terrible experience but was hoping for more.

Thank you Panchito’s for allowing us to host our Christmas dinner at your restaurant! Excellent customer service but most of the food, the staff from Keystone Bank loved it. We will definitely be returning we had such a great time God bless you all!

This is a delicious food truck with picnic tables and a fun vibe. The tacos are very good. We got the El Jefe box and enjoyed all 3 types. Service was friendly and quick. Note that there is no indoor seating.

The people were amazing. The tacos were delicious. My only complaint is they were a lil heavy on the cilantro. Easy fix tho, ask for light cilantro next time. Paid for three tacos and they definitely gave macho a fourth :)

Was in town for Labor day weekend and some friends highly recommended this place. We tried and we did not regret it. Tacos are delicious!! We will definitely come back and get some tacos next time we are in town.

Was in town visiting my son. He recommended Reyna's for tacos. We picked up a box of tacos using the drive thru. As soon as the box of tacos made it into the car, the smell was so amazing, I was intrigued as to how they would taste. I got back to the hotel room and am pleased to say, Reyna's has the best authentic tacos I've ever eaten.

One of the best Taco trucks in town and now they have indoor seating and its BYOB ! Great family and great energy!

I recently visited Rosa's Cafe & Tortilla Factory, and I would categorize it as a unique combination of fast food and restaurant. The first thing that caught my attention was the pleasant interior, which had a charming ambiance. One of the highlights of my experience was being able to watch the tortillas being made, adding a touch of authenticity to the dining experience. When it came to ordering, the process was straightforward. You place your order upfront and then take a seat at your chosen table. Although the staff members taking the orders were not particularly cheerful, they were not rude either. It would have been nice to see a bit more enthusiasm from them, as it could have enhanced the overall customer experience. One aspect that impressed me was the speed at which the food was prepared. It didn't take long at all from the moment I ordered to when the food was available for me to grab. This efficiency is definitely a plus, especially for those looking for a quick bite. Regarding the food itself, I found the overall quality to be moderate. The menu offered a decent variety of options, and the flavors were enjoyable, albeit not mind-blowing. The portions were not huge, but the price wasn’t that high so the value met my expectations. If you're looking for a quick and reasonably priced meal with a pleasant ambiance, this place is worth a visit.

Let me say I enjoy the food. I usually do drive-thru after work. The last 4 times there has been problems with the order. The first time I made it home without salsa so the next time I ask if there was salsa and was assured there was, however there was not salsa when I got home. The next time since it was a large order so we checked the order and there was no salsa and the order was missing items, since we were still in the parking lot it was an easy fix. This last time I ask for salsa, got it but still ended up going back for my chips. The young lady brought them immediately when she heard me come back in for my missing chips. The most frustrating part is this young girl absolutely did not care the order was wrong or that I was inconvenienced. Rosa's is too expensive for poor service, my time is valuable and I expect my order to be correct. First and second time I was understanding, mistakes happen, but I'm tired of double checking everything. Also it wasn't busy, no lines, plenty of parking, order should have been correct. It's time for me to rethink where I want to go for tacos.

I wanted to leave a review as I'm recently dairy and egg free since I'm breastfeeding my son, and he has an intolerance to both. We are not allergic but intolerant, which is still important in avoiding both food items. I asked to speak with the manager, and when she stated they didn't have an allergy menu, I asked about specific items on the menu, and she was very patient and willing to help. After placing my order, she even said she would personally make it so as not to touch anything else with dairy and egg. I just want to say what amazing customer service she gave, and I appreciate her very much. Would definitely recommend Rosas. By the way this is the manager that worked Saturday (7/19/25)

This place is always my go to when I get very lazy to cook Mexican food. I go for the tortillas. One thing I didn't like is the employees at the window every time I go they seem to be annoyed, never try to upsale you anything i order a lunch combo, which I didn't get a drink bec my mind was elsewhere I would of loved if they would of upsale and Said would u like a drink to go with that, Or dessert. Of course I would of taken it employee just don't seem happy to be working make me not return. I rather go to a place where u feel welcomed and not just a paycheck . If fixes definitely would be a #1 customer bring along family n friends. The food was by far amazing and deserved nothing but the best star rating but I feel this issue can be fixed

Rosas's has always done a great job in not only having great quality food but fast service as well. However, this past visit we decided to go through the drive-thru and when we got to there, there was a car at the speaker. I noticed they eventually put there car in Park and looked like they were just sitting there waiting to order. I finally heard someone came through the speaker and they ordered. When it was our turn, we had someone come on right away but halfway through my order they had me stop and I waited for 3 to 4 minutes before the person came back on. Apparently they are short staffed and, unfortunately, it's causing its patrons to wait longer than normal. Hopefully, they can find more help soon.

We typically go through the drive through. Our usual order is chicken fajita salad with romaine lettuce. Twice we have had to go inside to get corrected. And the this last time they hid the iceberg lettuce under maybe a handful of romaine. And we have had to start asking for hot sauce since it doesn’t seem to come with the salad anymore.

I mean do they ever have that place running smoothly it's always a wait and Half the food u want they don't got then your like ok it's been 30 min and they did not have what I wanted. So u would think we'll I'm sure my food going to be great to make up for it and. It's not food sucks. ... it's a shame. Because I love Popeyes Trust me if u eat at any other one like from a different state it is way better .. I mean could u find the .most people who don't not care about there job. And get them all together at one time. Like how do u do that ,,,,

It's Popeyes chicken, so of course the chicken was good. They did not, however, give us our ranch or anything to eat our macoroni and cheese with. It's a Wednesday, so it was not busy enough to use as an excuse. I had to ask for napkins. Not great.

Not this store but Popeyes corporate customer service is horrible ! I reported a concern about hours not matching the app causing their staff some safety issues and customers upset. They put a $10 credit on my app and never contacted me or followed up! If you can give me an email I will send the screen shot of email. I will change this review with accurate review for this store after I see they fix the problem. I live 30 minutes away but actually ordered today again & food & service was excellent! ( I did not use the $10 gift either)

I love the taste of the food, but if I paid for chicken strips. I want chicken strips, not chicken strings. I know you guys can see it's not a completed chicken strip. Your problems lie with your chicken provider, not me. I won't buy chicken strings. There's lots of chicken places in San Angelo

We have had this store in Angelo for 11 yrs now, and it has declined tremendously. The slow service, the amount of employees just standing around. The two women who seem to be in charge definitely aren’t leadership material. It’s disheartening because this is great chicken for crappy service.

Its fast food in San Angelo, I always lower my expectations and rarely disappointed. Food was typical popeyes, it was good. Biggest complaint was the manager kept barking and scolding(out loud) the employees, maybe deserved, but I didn't need to be hearing it while attempting to enjoy fast food San Angelo style.

There was an ad on the window of a family pack, we try to order but they told us there wasn't a key for it on register. They asked the supervisor but she only yelled we don't have a key , take down the ad Wich it Didn't happen. All you could here was the manager yelling at workers. Not a very enjoyable atmosphere. It was a very dissapointing Customer service. Except for the cashier.

I only come down to the 325 once a yr, Francos is one my go to spots for comfort food. I always get the menudo, because it's offered anytime of the day. I go by myself so usually the service is just OK.

I will never recommend this restaurant again. I have eaten there for well over 20 years and have always enjoyed the food and service. This time I placed a to go order. A friend of mine was to pick it up and it was in his name. When he went 15 min or so later, they were unable to find the order. A little over two hours later, they called me and wanted to know, I’m assuming, if I was going to pick up the order. I did not answer the phone at that time and then I called back to see why they were calling me. They said I could come pick up my order and they would take half off which I found unacceptable after over two hours and being told they couldn’t find the order when the person went to pick it up.The manager, Julie, was very argumentative about it and said that taking off 1/2 the cost was sufficient. She did not seem to understand that this was a situation of their making, not mine. They were unable to find the order. I explained to her that I am on hospice and wheelchair-bound and I have to have somebody do these things for me. And now over two hours later, I’m supposed to find somebody to go pick up an order and pay 1/2 the cost. manager, Julie, was very argumentative about it and said that taking out all was sufficient. She did not seem to understand that this was a situation of their making, not mine. They were unable to find the order. I explained to her that I am on hospice and wheelchair-bound and I have to have somebody do these things for me. And now over two hours later, I’m supposed to find somebody to go pick up the order and pay half price if I still want it. I think that was a little ridiculous. It would’ve been very easy for her to just apologize and comp the order which I asked her to do given that this was completely their fault. She refused, and said again if I want to somebody come pick up the order, it would be half off. She obviously did not understand the difficulty of my situation in going back to get the food. Not to mention it is now hours later. I really felt disrespected as a customer and will not ever go back. The manager kept calling me sweetheart also and I asked her not to do that. I am in my 60s and she sounded quite young and I felt that was disrespectful. I know sometimes we talk and it just slips out but after asking her not to call me that anf she kept doing so, it was really frustrating to me. I know that’s kind of silly, but I want to give you my whole experience. I am not the type to ask for somebody to comp food. I believe in paying my way, but in this situation, they really messed up and the manager definitely added to the negativity of the experience. Of all the people there I would expect the manager to be courteous. Who knows, maybe they have people trying to get free food often but I truly believe I was right in this situation. I’m very disappointed. Not only did I not get what would have been a great meal but now I will not go back and I will not recommend it to others.

Came here on a Sunday morning and was instantly seated! The place was very packed, and everyone seemed very happy with their orders! Breakfast burritos are under $3 bucks if you come before 11am. Their queso is the extra heavy creamy deliciousness you’re craving. The soup is -hearty- and has incredible flavor! The place is a little cramped, but it actually just added to the cozy atmosphere. The wait staff was awesome, and everyone was just friendly. I’m big on clean bathrooms, either making or breaking a solid 5 star rating, and am pleased to announce the bathrooms were very well maintained!

So nice to find super good on my business to San Angelo. Definitely coming back. I had the green chicken enchiladas and the chicken was flavored just right and was all white meat and so tender. The rice and beans were do good and so was the salsa. I’m coming back !

Stopped in to Franco's for some to go enchiladas. Ordered 3 beef and 1 cheese three count enchilada dinner. To my dismay only 1 bag of chips per total order. No biggie.....I order 3 small bags. After getting on the road ready to eat my cousin and I were disappointed that our BEEF enchiladas were made with green chili and not the traditional red sauce. BUMMER! I called and left a message while passing through Coleman. Let's see if I get a response on resolution. Couldn't turn back around and we were halfway to DFW *SAD FACE* Only half the order was correct.

I use to be a regular customer when I lived in Texas and every time I come back to town, I would always make it a point to eat Franco’s and order their Steak Fajita Quesadillas. As you can see from the photo. One of my quesadillas had almost no meat in it. It has been almost a year since I had been back in Texas and I was so looking forward to my home town’s Mexican food. I wasn’t the only one at my table that ordered them and all the other ones were filled with meat. I said something about the lack of meat in my tortilla and they asked for my plate back. I thought they were correcting it but it came back out exactly the same. The picture was taken after it came back to me. Our waitress was super nice and it was definitely not her. Apparently the kitchen or manager didn’t feel like correcting something simple was worth their time or effort. I loved this restaurant and I am saddened to see what has happened to what use to be one of my favorite places to dine in San Angelo. The takeaway for me was I was a customer that they didn’t need to satisfy. I do feel like another customer may have had a different result. Goodbye Franco’s, you use to be my fav.

This is the best tex-mex in Texas. I have been coming here for over 20 years and the food and service has always been awesome. I highly recommend the beef fajita burrito with Franco's sauce!

Such a fun place to come to, the art is amazing and the artists are so friendly. There are plenty of shops to see as well as the silo restaurant. I see myself purchasing some art here in the future. The parking can difficult as it is street and a mix of across the street parking. Overall though very fun to see all the art and crafted items.

Very impressed and happy with this place. The room was very clean and super comfortable. I felt very safe, even staying alone one night. The manager was outstanding. She was very thoughtful, efficient and friendly. She anticipated my needs I didn’t even plan for (like leaving an umbrella by my door when it rained). The property is a must-see-for-yourself amazing kind of place with a lot of gorgeous art. You’ll feel the creative vibe immediately. The restaurant has excellent fine dining, too. I had to make plans quickly due to a sudden death of a family member that lived in San Angelo. This was my first trip to San Angelo. The Chicken Farm was everything I wanted and needed. I feel so lucky to have chosen to stay here. You will love it, too. If I’m ever in San Angelo again, I will definitely stay here again.

One of the coolest gems in the entire city. So much talent and creativeness and the business owners are all very welcoming. Lots of activities throughout the month to participate in from music to art to food and more.

We went to see the reptiles in the back. It was air-conditioned and I have never seen some of the lizards and snakes before. Mark was very informative about all the different species and very knowledgeable. They also had an air-conditioned craft area for kids with toys and books

Great art community. I came during a quiet time, so only a few of the artists were there to open their studios. That being said, what I saw was great, and the artists were very friendly. From what I've been told, they have live music events and first Saturday events. I'm sure this place really comes alive. I'll have to visit again sometime soon.

I can’t speak highly enough of this place! There is something here for everyone! I loved getting to relax and enjoy the live music while I was there! The many different artists have beautiful items of all kinds! This is a great place to shop for yourself or to find gifts for literally any person that you know! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and I felt at home while I wandered and shopped!

Great park for all ages! This is our second time visiting the park while we were driving through town. Our three kids love playing here! There are plenty of swings, slides, and even a sand area. There are covered basketball courts and open fields. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, and water fountains. Enjoy a picnic and run around. We walked down to the stream. The park has nice walking paths.

This is a very spacious area located on both sides of West 29th St. Besides the kids playground and covered basketball courts there is a paved trail. Soccer fields, baseball fields and more. I didn't get the chance to explore the whole place. I guess i could leave that for another day.

The skate park side is where we stayed, for a Jr roller derby game. It was very clean, nice park. The bathrooms on that side were locked, and the ones on the other side were not well maintained. Other than that it was a great experience. The other side of the park looked like it was pretty nice. Big play ground for kids.

Decent area to take the kids to do things. Has a decent playground, skate park and rink, is dog friendly. Has a nice trail for running, walking, etc

Kirby Park ... playground for kids, fishing dock, horse shoes, wazher pitching, covered basketball and recreation area, sidewalks to walk, jog, scooter, skateboard, skate or bike. There is something for every member of the family. This is one of my favorite parks and i am sure it will be one of yours too. Go to Kirby Park now and enjoy.

This playground is a great castle type playground on a quiet street. It is my kids favorite park/playground and I like the walking trails. Definitely a place that you must take your kids to play!

Perfect for the little ones. The ground is soft enough for small falls and there's lots to do that parents can join their children.

We celebrated a gender reveal at this park. Super clean, safe, and not too crowded! This is the second time I have reserved a park with the city of San Angelo and it has always been a great experience. Fire House pizzeria is also right next to the park which is a plus.

Beautiful park beside downtown San Angelo. There’s a large playground for children with a toddler area. A huge green space provides lots of room for kids to run or sports teams to practice. There’s a physical fitness area with exercise equipment. A large covered gazebo provides shade and picnic tables. There’s another picnic area on the northeast corner with charcoal grills and two porta potties nearby. The park is situated between the Concho River and an old historic firehouse. Behind the firehouse is an old fire truck that is covered in mosaic tiles that children are welcome to climb all over which they love! It’s a lovely spot and worth a visit.

It is a nice little park with a covered area but in need of public bathrooms, besides the port a potties way at the end.

Everyone you must come see the beautiful waterfalls and art through out our beautiful town here in West Texas y'all

This park is also known as the Firefighter Memorial Park. (So it would be nice if Google Maps had that title in their search.) It has a great walking path, beautiful big and fun playground, and a mosaic fire truck.

Started taking my son here when he was learning to walk, and now 2 years later its still our favorite park. Clean, away from traffic, ducks, the river view, and safe play for toddlers and up.

Not a bad place for being the original City Park. Although I miss you the original setup that they had in the '90s. It seems like they left out some horseshoe playing. I just love the swings being closer to the road then we inside. I wish that those more parking. I used to work on that park so also dread that walk to that one trash can just to get the trash out.

The staff was very friendly but lazy. The store was so dirty i didn't see one table that didn't have crumbs, ring from cups, and spilt dried up drinks. My husbands and daughters food was prepared terrible and messy (like unnecessarily messy) they also stuffed all of our variety of cookies (more than a dozen) into a small cookie bag and plastic container. Very unpleasant Sunday Family Lunch.

Customer Service at this location is Top Notch! These are the kindest, nicest, most helpful employees. Had an occasion to ask if they had any recommendations for a diabetic and they did and were eager to help. Every time I go in there, they're sweet as can be which is why I go there. I'm one to drive out of my way for good customer service. Yes! Would def recommend.

While I was passing thru the town I notice the Subway and we decided to stop and pickup some food for our journey back home. There was only one person working here and only three people ahead of us. While in line 35 minutes pass before our order was taken. The food was good though. If I come thru the town again I will stop due to the food was good and seemed fresh.

I ordered a sandwhich and she gave me one piece of meet for my 6inch!!! One!! And when I asked her to add more she charged me for double meet!! And when I asked for jalapeños she gave me three!! Like what am I supposed to taste. Nothing???? Just bread!! My sandwhich was $15 for a bland sandwich!!

I ordered a sweet onion chicken teriyaki 6" with american cheese, tomatoes, pickles, extra sweet onion sauce, and mayo. I am sad to say that it is the saddest excuse of a sandwich I have ever seen. It is so empty the bread completely closes. I got 3 small tomato slices, the biggest one being about the size a dollar coin, 5 pickles the same size, no mayo and no sweet onion sauce. I am highly disappointed. It would be one thing if it was 1 sub, but my order of 3 6" subs all came out the same and I'm sorry I wasted $20 on something that wont solve my hunger.

Used the online ordering app for pickup. Easy to use. Love this Subway the most due to them never running out of the things people want. Well stocked, and very friendly and fast service. Would love to try their breakfast sometime. Don't be fooled by the location. Would recommend this Subway compared to the others if you want a fast in-and-out order with friendly customer service.

We have been coming to this location 1-2 times a week to eat. We were so excited to eat lunch from here and decided to pick up an order through the drive thru. First problem was the online ordering system. It froze on me several times, refused to take my credit card information and then told me the order couldn't go through without updating a scheduled time. The only option was to hit "ASAP" which I did. And... nothing happened. Still showed an error, booted me off and erased the order that I had left in my cart. So, still craving our usual sandwiches we drove there to place an order in person. One car in front of us and it took more than 5 minutes before we were up. I ordered a small original with no onions, sour cream and onion chips and an unsweetened tea. My husband ordered a small Albuquerque turkey with regular chips and an unsweetened tea. The boy at the window asked several questions about our two unsweetened teas and which size, after we'd already paid him the cash total. After about 10 minutes we were handed our bag, and we drove home. As I'm walking into our house I received an email notification about our online order. An order that said it couldn't be placed. So I called the restaurant and sat through 2 minutes of ringing before someone picked up the phone. They could see my order, but couldn't help. So they put me on hold for a "manager" who then proceeded to tell me they could verify the order. I told him it wouldn't go through on my end online, so we'd already gone thru the drive thru and paid cash for the same two sandwiches in the order. Then he tells me his gm can probably take care of it tomorrow, but do I want to be refunded for one order or two? Because apparently it went through TWICE. At this point, I've paid close to $75 for two SMALL sandwiches from here. Yes, I need to be refunded for BOTH charges, as we already paid cash at the drive through. So, the "manager" could do nothing but say his gm will be there tomorrow. So, I guess there's no manager or anyone with power there to take care of issues when you come to get food from their establishment... So, still hungry, we sit down to eat. My "original" sandwich was a ham and cheese COVERED entirely with mustard and full of raw onions. It was mushy, barely any meat and bread was falling apart soggy. My chips were not what I ordered, they put salt and vinegar in the bag instead. My husband's Albuquerque turkey was a plain roast beef sandwich with black broth in a cup. His regular chips were replaced with cracked black pepper flavored chips. So disappointing and gross. Too bad there wasn't a manager or anything there that could have fixed this problem, even if we'd have gone back.......... And to make matters worse, they probably had our correct order sitting there somewhere, only there was no way of knowing because the online ordering system wouldn't let me know until 20 minutes later that the order had even gone through. I will never use their system again, and we definitely won't be back. Also, better be receiving a refund. Should actually be refunded the cash from the two trash sandwiches (that weren't even what we ordered) as well.

Pretty good sandwich. Meat is flavorfully and the bread is nice and fluffy with some crispiness at the ends. Definitely recommend it if your in the area looking for a decent sandwich.

Lovely service. The lady at the front was very warm and good. We ordered everything vegetarian. Guess what ! My veggie sandwich came with roast beef on the side !!!! Had to go back and wait for another ‘right’ one. Place was not clean after every customer left but it was packed.

I went through the drive-thru to get cinnamon roll bites as a snack. When I received them, they were cold to begin with. But when I started eating, I grabbed a bite with my fork, and underneath was a dead fly. I called the location and the manager just asked if I wanted more made, why would I want more from the batch that had a dead fly. I asked for a refund and compensation considering I had taken a few bites and feel disgusted with the whole experience

Original fast food with healthy choices. I say fast food because there is a drive through, fortunately I was not in a hurry at 10:35 on a Saturday. We waited 20 minutes. I must admit, it was worth the wait. I had the Tuscan signature sandwich and was very pleased, the turkey was not the typical deli slices you would normally find on a sandwich, it was oven roasted to perfection and tender. The sandwich was easy to eat, with house-made rolls and many fresh ingredients. I am looking forward to going back even if I have to wait another 20 minutes.

The pizza's were smaller than the last time I got them. They could have been cooked a little longer. The meaty pizza hardly had any toppings. One piece of bacon and no Italian sausage.

Yes the lake is super low, but don't let that stop you from visiting this beautiful place. You'll find jackrabbits, wild boar, loads of deer, and let's also acknowledge that they have feeding times for the bison and the longhorns. Seeing bison in real life and being able to see how interactive They are with each other was absolutely amazing. The state park is clean. Their lake is low, but a great place to fish. They had told us that they stocked it with Bass, but we did not catch any bass. We ended up catching a catfish.

Outstanding Experience at San Angelo State Park We had an outstanding stay at San Angelo State Park! The park is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and full of scenic views. The campsites are spacious, level, and easy to access, with clean facilities and well-kept grounds. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We loved exploring the trails and relaxing in the quiet, natural surroundings. It’s a perfect place to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and take in the beauty of West Texas — we’ll definitely be back!

2 separate entrances. Some trails can only be accesses through one or the other. Check in at South entrance but have to get an entry code for the north side. Friendly employees. Everything was in bloom; beautiful areas. Lake level a little low.

We stayed here one night in site 37 in Red Arroyo campground. We have a 42ft 5th wheel. The site is a pull through and more than big enough for our truck and trailer. There is a pavilion right off one side of a paved pad. It is nice but it’s so close to the pad that we had to position the trailer just right to not hit it when the slides and also not hit the hookups on the other side. Again the site is so long that this wasn’t a huge issue but not as much shade on the trailer as we had hoped. There is a dump station in the park but trash dumpster next to it.

Had a wonderful time camping here over the weekend, breathtaking sunsets and stunning sunrises. Be sure to bring some form of bug spray with you though. The bathrooms close to our campsite had a wasp problem, as did the pavilion at our actual site. Even still, a good time was had for myself and the party I was with.

Nice playground, good hiking trails. Scenic. Campsites are large and some have covers. Cabins are Basic and have water outside. You can park your RV next to your cabin and hook up water and electric. Beautiful views and pleasant personnel. A must-see is the bison feedings, currently at 10am Wednesday and Saturday. Absolutely wonderful camphosts

Absolutely love the food here, I prefer this place over PV because of how good it is. My husband loves the fish tacos and I love the chicken parm. Their limited time filet was the best filet I’ve had in Texas. Their breakfast is great as well, I’m very picky with breakfast food and they were very accommodating. Only issue we’ve had is 3 times in a row, my husband found a woman’s dark hair cooked into his food. The management was so nice and came over and offered to comp our meal, but we really don’t mind paying at all, we just want to ensure cleanliness. We haven’t been here in 1-2 months, so I hope the situation has been fixed. Other than that, the food and service is amazing. We’ve brought our dogs here a few times and sat in the outdoor seating, the servers were so sweet to our dogs and gave them water.

The food is amazing. Ribeye, surf n turf, grilled meatloaf are great. Birria brisket tacos, enchiladas, chicken are all also great. The only downside is the restaurant is small. Tv and fans for the outside patio! Oh and the cornbread is divine.

When I first walked in here we got seated right away as for a app I got Pimento Guac Dip with chips acutally good I won’t lie and the Caesar Salad was actually better than what I had at other places but the Ribs with fries were good the meat the bone was right on the target along with the smoky bbq sauce with the fries everything was spot on. Only thing that was disappointing was no Longhorns v OSU Game on. But overall everything was right on the target I would def visit again.

AMAZING! The food was delicious, the chef is absolutely amazing and puts love into the food! The owner has put so much heart into the design and atmosphere of the restaurant. It was a great experience, can't wait to go back!

This was our first time here for brunch. The food, the mimosas and the waiter were great! We will return.

Wife and I came here for our first wedding anniversary dinner and were very pleased. The atmosphere is upbeat and pleasant. The food and wine is very good. We ordered tres leches for dessert and were also given a piece of key lime pie to go as an anniversary present. Aidan was our server and was very excellent.

Excellent full bodied experience. The biggest thing that stood out is the pride that the chef takes in his cooking. I ordered the breakfast pork chop. It was like a explosion of flavor was injected into each and every bite. The pork chop was definitely what I would call top shelf quality. The potatoes were cooked to the perfect texture and complimented the pork chop very well. On to the service which was spot on. I never had to look for a server if I need something. They were well mannered and very attentive, and checked on each table frequently. As for the restaurant, the decor is very pleasing and relaxing and the bar definitely had some style and effort put into the design. The restaurant was very clean. If you want to have an amazingly excellent dining experience, you can't go wrong with The Grill. I will definitely be back for more!!!

An unexpected pop art installation in downtown San Angelo. Free and open to the public. Great place for some fun photos.

Open to the public and is a 24/7 outside art museum. It doesn't seem as popular...but I love art and it was very different to see an outside art museum dedicated to pop. The outside doesn't seem well taken care of maintenance-wise and the QR codes didn't work. It would have been nice to meet the artists and see what inspired them to paint their work through the QR codes.

Amazing variety of artwork that is always expanding. I visited this place before the grand opening back last October and I've seen it evolve into an incredible place. Great to go stroll through or sit and take some time to enjoy the scenery.

I had heard about EyeJack, an application that adds animation to graphics. I thought all the barcodes next to the graphics meant that it was going to have that, but they were links to the artist which is kind of cool I guess but not as exciting as I thought it would be.

We loved this place! Kudos to San Angelo for taking these old, crumbling places and using them for art. We had a blast walking around and choosing the art.

They let you walk you dogs and have poop bag stations for your furry little ones. Great place for the other kids as well. There are plenty of benches and other places to set and relax. Many people like to fish down here as the fish hatchery will release catfish & other types of fish during different times of the year close to this area. There are places to eat & get refreshments here too. Fun place to be had by all.

Used to be really nice clean park. Now the last 2 years there have been homeless sleeping in the park, Lots of trash in the river and today pairs of medical gloves floating in the pool of water with the nice rtock formation waterfall. Was a little worried there might be needles or other dangerous things about. Glad I had teens with mee and not younger children who k eew to leave things alone. San Angelo is doing their best to keep the area neat, cut, clean, but when people are living and sleeping and doing illegal things in the park there is only so much you can do.

This is a great place for a stroll. There is lots of great scenery here. There are also lots of things to do with the family. There is a mini-golf course, life-size chess pieces, hopscotch, a giant chalk wall, and instruments for your children to play on. The family really enjoyed walking along the river and enjoying time together. This would even be a good place to go on a romantic date. There is also a place to eat. Art is also seen along the walk. This is a great place to enjoy an afternoon.

Clean relaxing park by the river. We took a break here from traveling to eat outdoors to a different scenery. Enjoyed watching people canoeing, pretty neat park.

Excellent place to stop for lunch. They’re welcoming and friendly, they get the food made super fast, it’s always consistently good, and they have great iced tea. Good iced tea isn’t all that easy to find in San Angelo restaurants, but Firehouse has it.

This place is amazing. The sandwiches here are amazing and great tasting. This is my favorite sub restaurant now that I've tasted a few sandwiches. The prices are reasonable; customer service is the best; and the place is clean. Not to mention, part of your money goes to first responders for life-saving equipment and resources. Disinfectants are located in two different areas of the restaurant, and restrooms are made for the handicapped. Great job, guys.

The people who work here fr gave me an only bacon sandwich because my dad asked for mayo only on the sandwich. My dad ordered a BLT not a bacon sandwich. The justification of why they gave that to us was hilarious and I actually can’t stop laughing.

This place is by far amazing when it comes to sandwiches I'll choose this place every time. The prices r amazing, first time eating in we also went during a lunch rush the music was so loud u hardly heard your name be called, plus front service employees felt annoyed when it came to ordering nothing was a choice or have u tried this no up sales nothing didn't ask if we wanted a large just took a medium for us, also leaned in the next customer order was very poor hurried them up as well, definitely can do better especially for making outstanding sandwiches, a speaker would be useful, also try to upsale as a front desk cashier, window unit is amazing at service. He didn't explain to grab your own chips or even my daughter kids meal, I hate touch stuff that has no permission or sign to say choose one. Definitely a big problem that again can be fixed

I order through their mobile app. When my boyfriend went to go pick it up, someone had already "picked up" the order. Someone stole my food. The restaurant manager had only this to say. She said "well, we can remake it if you come down here with the confirmation number." I sent my boyfriend because I couldn't go. So someone stole my food and the restaurant couldn't do anything because my boyfriend only had a screen shot. I could have verified over the phone.

Their subs are amazing, highly recomment the club on a sub! We usually dont have issues. However tonight there was a small mix up with our order. I only mention this so I can also compliment the general manager who was very pleasant and prompt to correct the issue and guarantee customer satisfaction which is an important quality to have with a GM. We will definitely be back and remain customer.

Yo quick question. Is your cooks not cooking or what? I went to grab food for my family of 5 and tell me why the keep skimming out the damn fries? Like why you making the boxes so tall if you ain’t even gonna fill it? Feels like every time I go over there yall are skimping out for no reason. Just the fill the package like you supposed to.

I got the new special addition chicken sandwich and it was missing bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes. What a waste. Edit: The pickles taste weird.

It was 10:40am, not even peak lunch time and the drive thru line was long, specifically placed my order of 3 happy meals, got to the window to a very unfriendly staff member, then to the pick up window where she gave my drinks then told me I had to pull into a curbside stall for the rest. Waited 10 minutes and watched every car behind me get their food and leave. Had to get out of the car and go inside where my happy meals were sitting on a counter, COLD! Not one friendly, accommodating or apologetic staff member in the place! Thought the drive thru was so you didn't have to get out of your vehicle..... worst McDonalds I have ever been to! Your food is NOT that good to be so dismissive. Not like you need my business, but I won't go there again.

It was ok. The restaurant was clean. They were out of frappe coffees. I ordered a chicken sandwich. It was so dry and the brioche bun was tough. I couldn't even eat the bottom bun. There was no mayo, ketchup, mustard, or any kind of sauce whatsoever on the sandwich. I ordered extra pickles, so they put 2 extra pickles on my sandwich which helped a little. The fries were hot and fresh. Definitely not worth the $11 this meal cost. I should have just ordered the $2 McChicken.

Spent 15 minutes in drive through. When ordering a simple cheseburger, double hamburger and large ice tea it came up wrong on screen. I told the person taking the order and the repeated it back incorrectly. I repeated it and the said the got it but the screen never appeared again. No one was at the 1st window. At the second one a guy appeared and said ‘sorry, I was busy, and took our money. Then a lady handed me my ice tea. After a moment I received a bag with a double hamburger but no cheese burger. The lady said I didn’t pay for a cheese burger. I said ‘OK, how much?’ She told me she couldn’t take money at that window. I told her a guy just did. The manager came to the window and rudely asked what the problem was. I told her. She demanded I either drive back around and go through the line again or come inside. Then slammed the window shut. I sat for a minute or two, contemplated staying put and forcing the issue but instead left. HORRIBLE SERVICE! I vote we lower minimum wage!

Have gone to this McDonald’s multiple times. Always giving it the benefit of the doubt. No more! Every single time I go, there is always a massive wait time. Even if the order is placed beforehand through the app. Also I don’t think I’ve ever received a correct order. This last visit was 2 small McDoubles. Just ketchup and cheese. I waited 15 minutes in line. Then was told to wait in the curbside spot which took another 10 minutes until finally my small order was ready. Only to find out the burgers were made wrong. I hate leaving negative reviews but this is always the case with this location.

Several times I have gone and been short3d chicken nuggets that's just about all I get. Yesterday I went and asked the highest count for nuggets and they said 40 pieces so I got 40 with 2 LG fries and 1 medium coke w no ice. We share fries and my 2 kids shares the coke while 4 of us get nuggets. The person taking my order told me of 2 bundles but said it was 2 20 pieces nuggets because why would I need less. It came up as 1 20piece on screen but she said she would fix it. I waited and waited then a sweet new girl came out w the wrong amount,came back twice and still didn't have the right amount then another employee came and got my receipt then tried to tell me differently from what I explained then the manager cane out and told me she is the one who took it but put it in wrong and said I'd have to be charged for the other 20 nuggets then wait for them even aftwr i repeatedlysaid what i needed and she said yes...Dear God please take accountability for your mistake. I will not give them any more of my money due to past mistakes and for a sorry excuse for a manager with a terrible attitude. Your approach and demeanor were very hateful, patience is a skill ma'am and you need to work on that. I get that it's hot and you have to overlook your employees among other responsibilities but smiling and taking accountability goes along way, your should have honored your mistake. Besides, the nuggets were dry so that was a greater disappointment. It's like throwing 20$ out the window. But also thank you so now I know not to waste money there anymore. Date Night ruined.... we were sat at a freshly wiped damp table. While the whole restaurant was basic empty and there was other tables to be sat at. The menus were disgusting and probably were more cleaned on the wet table then they were before they were given to us. The waitress with the pink hair took our drink orders before we even saw a menu or even sat down... then said that another waitress would be right over. 20 mins go by, my husband's at the bottom of his cup and no one has came over but walked pasted a dozen times. Finally the same lady refills his cup and takes our order. Which she didn't write down, and got mine wrong. She comes back, brining a menu and asks what sides I want for the meal I didnt order. Then after I correct her, she aggressively flipped through the menu, sighing and huffing. Finally finding what I asked for, she then asks if I want toast or tortillas... no. So she steps off and goes to put the order in. Another 30 or so minutes our food comes out, and my cups empty. She sets the food down and refills it. Doesn't ask about the food other than it looking right. We start eating and my eggs are over cooked. She never comes back to ask how the food tastes or check back up. My husband calls her back over to address the problem and she looks like a deer caught in the headlights, so confused. But she has my eggs re made. At this point its been 10 mins past the food being served and im half done, but i scrap the over cooked eggs off my plate and slap the new ones on my skillet, switching the over cooked ones to the side plate, and putting it on the edge to be taken. It sat there the rest of my meal, until the table was bussed. We were planning on ordering dessert, so we waited for her to come back. She did and slapped the check on the table, never asking if we needed anything else and making us feel like we were rushed and she was done with us. But saying how we could pay at the front. So we sat there staring at each other in amazement, she never came back... so we paid and left... our meal not finished, our night ruined.

Walking into Denny’s, I was greeted right away and seated quickly. I decided on a burger, and to my surprise, it was at my table in under 10 minutes. The service was smooth and efficient, and the burger itself was wonderful—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Paired with the quick turnaround, it made for a really enjoyable experience that felt both satisfying and stress-free.

Went to Denny's today and also visited last week seems they have been short handed but both days service was awesome 2 servers both days stood out to me Kasie and Ashley they both work super hard and try everything to make sure the guest are happy. Both super sweet and always make you feel right at home and welcomed Those 2 girls rock the days shift for sure.

We had a VERY good experience. Fast and friendly service. We were pleasantly checked a few times. Breakfast was super good! I saw an employee go outside. He came back in pushing a customer in a wheelchair. The place appeared to be very clean. We had a nice time visiting with each other.

We ordered the Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes and they were excellent. Denise our server was very attentive and caring. Thank you Denise for making our experience great.

Makala the wonderful waitress was very heartwarming with her words as we entered the restaurant she greeted us to sit anywhere we pleased. Not only was the food great but the staff was excellent with the timing on the food being done in an orderly manner. As well as wishing a good night.

Ashley was my server & was incredible!! She was running all over the store busting her butt. My food was great (turkey sandwich melt thingy) & the atmosphere was so friendly. This was around 12 AM Saturday night so it was a decently busy overall 10 out of 10 will be back again :)

Just had my worst fast food experience here. An individual (claiming to be a manager-no name tag) took our order. Ordered a #1. As per the menu, the number 1 included a drink, yet got charged extra. While trying to understand the extra charge, said individual got frustrated stating he's had a long day and didn't have time for it, then proceeded to accuse us of raised voices and that he would have us escorted out, despite us remaining calm throughout the entire encounter.

Manager called the order number and I raised my hand. When I opened my food and said oh this is not our order. I took the order up to the counter and stated this is not what I ordered. At this point the manager became very confrontational. Began rudely and loudly yelling at me, well you opened it, over and over. I explained yes I did that's how I know it's not what I ordered. He would not stop saying yeah well you opened it so I left the food on the counter and sat back down at my table. When he delivered the new boxes of food he plopped it on the table and stood there staring at us. I asked, this is order 16 correct? The guy started being rude , angrily stating he didn't need my attitude. I explained I didn't appreciate his attitude and asked him to please move away from our table and leave us alone. He became even more abusive and confrontational. His reply was, he didn't have to step away from our table or do anything we asked for that matter. At this point my mentally handicap brother was getting upset as all he knew, we were being attacked. He then stated he was to call the cops. I recommended he did call the police but please step away from our table and leave us alone. When I asked to speak to the manger he began to walk off and yelled across the restaurant that he was the manager. Then while dropping off food at another table he slammed ( and I do mean slammed) the chair into the table next us and gave us a dirty look. We tried to finish our meal but before we were done eating, this guy yells across the restaurant in a derogatory demeanor, you feel better now that we ate lunch. First off I wasn't the one with the problem so I took this as hostile and him trying to agitate us. I again asked him to stop speaking to us. At this point my brother so upset we had to leave before finishing our meal. This guy just would not stop harassing us nor stop trying to create a volatile situation. Again he made the mistake not me. His behavior was unacceptable and childish. Beware of the young dark haired manager who didn't have a name tag or I would have shared his name in this post. Very unprofessional and childish. I will never patron any chicken express in the future. No customer deserves to be verbally assaulted or threatened because the staff brought the wrong order. Horrible management.

Walking in, completely dead for a lunch time. The cashier seemed as if her job was an inconvenience to her. I ordered the 4 tenders mac fries and corn nuggets, didnt get the mac and the tenders tasted as if they have been there for a bit. He ordered the 3 PC chicken dinner. He got 2 pieces. Of course they gave us our items we paid for...chicken express is not what it use to be.

Went through drive thru got shorted. Called to report the shorted item and went to message box and no one called me back. The drive thru worker was super friendly they shorted me and I called so they could make it right. Disappointed they did not take care of this oversight.

Very good Chicken Express location, wasn't disappointed. I like that you get to choose your pieces at no extra cost - i.e., your 2-piece dinner can be two breasts, two wings, two drumsticks, two thighs, or any combination thereof. Spotless dining room.

When we are craving good fried chicken and we don’t want to go too far, Chicken Express can be the right place. They have a huge servings of chicken... you can have rolls or biscuits with them, their is a good selection of other sides such as fried okra, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and a lot more, their brewed iced tea is amazing too. If you are in a hurry, their drive thru is pretty quick with your order, unless you are ordering livers of course... for that you gotta wait about 10 mins. The place is very accessible with ample parking if you are dining in.

This was such a neat place to enjoy a nice lunch on the patio! The brisket pizza was delicious but the jalapeños are fresh so have it a nice spice for my not so spicy self. But still very yummy! You could spend some time just looking at all the memorabilia! My brother is a fire fighter so this was a neat way to spend a lunch break while I was in town for work. I loved all the art around the property too. It is right next to a cute little park/ playground and the river. Beautiful area to enjoy some pizza and beer! 🍕🍻

As a first-time customer, I had a disappointing experience with the service. I ordered online and got: - 2 pizzas - 2 orders of breadsticks - 1 fruit pizza When I picked up my order, it was incomplete. I was just handed the boxes without any explanation. Once I got home and realized something was missing, I called to clarify. The woman who answered informed me that I was supposed to pick up the fruit pizza separately. I pointed out that this crucial detail wasn't mentioned when I collected my order, but her response was dismissive, almost like she didn’t care. As for the food, the sauce for breadsticks tasted sour and bitter, but the cheese breadsticks were good, and the small pizza looks good. Will I go back? Very Highly unlikely.

This place is so cool and the food is delicious. I got the Chiefs pizza and it was so good. The beer dispenser is cool, you get a beer card and dispense your draft beer yourself. Will definitely be back.

San Angelo acts like this restaurant deserves a Michelin star. It’s fine. I ordered $60 worth of garlic bread and pizza this evening. The garlic read is fine, albeit arriving cold. The Chief was missing the hamburger and the vegetables on top were raw. IDK if they threw it in the oven without the vegetables on it to bake or what, but the black olives, onion, and peppers are all raw. The pepperoni pizza… this is my favorite flavor and I’m honestly upset. Whoever made the pizza threw the cheese and the pizza sauce onto the crust in huge separate clumps. There’s no layer of sauce and then a layer of cheese on top of it. There’s sections with cheese thrown straight onto the bread, and then sections with large wet clumps of pizza sauce directly puddled onto the crust. No layers. See the picture below. It’s gross to eat and I can’t fix it.

After a day in San Angelo, I stopped in here and was blown away! The pizza was absolutely fantastic—crispy crust, perfectly balanced toppings, and none of that greasy, sliding mess you sometimes get elsewhere. Every bite was spot on. The staff was just as impressive: genuinely friendly, attentive, and eager to help, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back soon, especially to check out the beer wall—it looks like the perfect pairing for their top-notch pizza. If you’re in town and craving quality food with great service, this spot is a must-visit!

We tried this place in San Angelo while staying for a conference and could not have been more satisfied. All three of us tried a different pizza, and all three of us were amazed—very unique and tasty flavors. The beer wall was an elegant feature as well. We had never seen a self-serve beer wall before and loved the concept. This place is a must-try.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely phenomenal, and every detail of the evening was flawless — all thanks to Natasha! Natasha went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was attentive without hovering, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and somehow made every table around her feel like the only one in the restaurant. Her energy, kindness, and genuine passion for what she does completely elevated the experience. The food itself deserves its own applause — beautifully plated, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with care. But what truly made the night unforgettable was the service. The Art District is nice to walk through and enjoy the scenery of the river, trees and art! Pet friendly and areas where the kids play.

Variety of personality, bayou feel of fishing at one side of walk, while other is more family friendly, also other artworks on display. Also biking trail is scenic.

We love coming here when we come into town for something.

Nice place to walk, with some shade but be warned: shade is not everywhere. There's plenty of pokemon go locations if you're in to that. The ducks and other wildlife is pretty friendly. I haven't seen any snakes yet, so can't speak to that. There are some areas that stink but thankfully the majority of the area does not. There's some nice scenery here.

Great area for photo ops, walk, run or jog. Make sure to enter the visitors center for I formation of the town and nearby areas

The waterfall under the bridge is my favorite place to hang out. They even have places to fish over there. Very relaxing place to be at.
