Amusement park
Water & Amusement Parks
Park
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom, located between Allentown and Emmaus, is a top tourist attraction offering over sixty thrilling rides and rollercoasters for the whole family. Established in 1884, this amusement park boasts hair-raising thrill rides alongside options suitable for children. The park also features a large waterpark with wet and wild attractions. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, special events, and Planet Snoopy for the little ones.
The experience at this amusement park was truly amazing. From the entrance you feel a cheerful and well-organized atmosphere. The attractions are very varied: roller coasters for the most adventurous, family games and special areas for small children. Everything is very clean and well maintained, which gives security and confidence. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help, either to give information or to make the experience more fun. The shows and parades were also a strong point, full of music, lights and color. The food inside the park has a good variety, from snacks to more complete dishes, with reasonable prices for a tourist place. In general, it is an ideal place to spend a different day with family or friends, full of fun, adrenaline and unforgettable memories. I would definitely come back!
Brayner F — Google review
I found it very nice and organized. It's a beautiful park, and the attractions are really fun. A good mix of modern and traditional. Some vintage rides add a special touch. The only thing they urgently need is better integration with the Six Flags system. You can't enter with your ticket through the Six Flags app, even with the All Parks package, as it doesn't work, so you have to wait in a long line at Guest Services. Also, because there's no integration with the SF system, I had to pay for parking and request a refund at Guest Services, or I wouldn't be able to enter, even though I was entitled to the benefit. Anyway, I hope they fix this integration once and for all so I can give them 5 stars.
Thales M — Google review
Great local amusement park one of the best out there definitely suggest. Employees are very nice also nice environment to be in not very crowded fast lines barely no wait time. Water park was closed when Google said it was open disappointed but not a big deal it was September 21st anyway
Gaven D — Google review
Had a great day! Got there at opening, stayed until 6pm . . Utilized the premium meal plan (every 90 mins) and drink every 15min Rides hardly had waits . . 15 mins tops and it was a SUNDAY . . . The family rode 13 different rides 20 total times and we didn't even go to the Water park side . . Lots of fun
Jennifer S — Google review
While I do love Dorney and always have a great time there, the pricing for food/ drinks is already insane but having to pay almost $40 FOR PARKING, is criminal. The haunt was dope, all the shows and performers were great, (the skeleton crew show) was my favorite though. Lines for the coasters were short, was able to get on everything, even sit in the front. The lines for the "Haunt Attractions" were quite long though. Hopefully pricing becomes more consumer friendly in the future as I believe I had to pay $15 extra in service fees when ordering my ticket online.
Victor D — Google review
I really enjoyed this park , it has a very charming feel to it imo . It's a decent sized amusement park ( I expected it to be much smaller) . The water park portion looked to be really nice as well. The layout is decent here , but there are some steep hills to walk. I was really impressed with Possessed , Steel Force , Talon and Iron Menace. I also loved that Chickie's and Pete's is on the dining plan here!! Also growing up going to Cedar Point all my life it was wonderful to see the Demon Drop still running great and getting to ride it was awesome!!
J — Google review
Overall, the park is really nice and offers plenty of fun attractions. However, I think they should limit the number of guests allowed in each day because it was extremely crowded, and the lines were very long. Some staff members provided great service, while others seemed uninterested in being there. My son had a great time, and it’s definitely a wonderful place for kids. I recommend reserving tickets online, as it’s cheaper than buying at the gate. Some restrooms were clean, but others were smelly and not well-maintained. The park itself is clean overall and has a nice selection of food and snacks, though the food is definitely overpriced. Get the season pass even it’s its first one day you save way more money. You can also bring a friend for 20$.
Robin Q — Google review
Dorney Park is always our favorite theme park probably because it's more reasonable compared to to the other park you paid a ticket for dry and water park, We took my sisters family in here for the first time she have 3 young kids and I'am proud to say that they love the water park, her kids is none stop playing on wave pool and lazy river, we came on opening at 11 and we got a nice shaded lounger area, the only downside is the customer service told us that season pass holder can get in early and we did not see anybody by the water park gate that letting season pass holder get in, we got so happy but got disappointed right there, they even put season pass entrance sign but like others we waited till 11 to get in, so this thing is false advertising and reason I only gave 4 star, But as always Dorney park is clean the bath area is decent the bathroom is maintained the best part is the all day dining that me and my kids truly enjoyed thru out the day. I highly recommend to avail all day dining to everybody you will not regret it, and season pass pays off we are coming back again specially on October for their Halloween.

Yocco's The Hot Dog King is an iconic chain in Allentown, PA, with several locations across the region. It's known for its fast and friendly service, reasonable prices, and delicious hot dogs served with chili sauce, mustard, and chopped onions on a steamed bun. While it may not offer fancy dining experiences, locals rave about the tasty diner food served on trays. However, some visitors have experienced inconsistencies in food quality.
I wish Yoccos would bring this place to more states. I was here for the DCI Allentown tour, the hotdogs here are the best ones in all of America, I look forward to going here every year. Service was great, food was quick and delicious.
Johnny C — Google review
Super friendly! The, manager, I suppose, was very nice and helpful. The menu pricing is quite decent. This sausage sandwiches were quite good! The hotdogs were good but nothing too special. Overall, a good experience.
The A — Google review
I ordered a hot dog and a cheese steak, and both were good. The chili sauce was delicious. Even though it was an odd time, people kept coming in nonstop. It’s not hygienic for the cashier to handle money while wearing gloves and then touch everything with the same gloves. It would be better to avoid wearing gloves and just wash hands instead.
Perle75nyc — Google review
It’s been years since I’ve had a Yocco hot dog. Tasty as I remember it was. Ordering is a cluster freak with grumpy lady behind counter not helping as customers try to grab lunch. Fries were tasty.
Tom E — Google review
So great. I'm 70 years old and grew up in the Lehigh Valley and have always loved Yoccos. I get my dogs with everything, yum. And the staff at the Hamilton St location are so friendly. Affordable too 🙂
Judy S — Google review
Place is clean. Wait in line is quick. I personally love Yocco's! Especially with the works on the hot dog. Their large size pierogies are really good too! And if you love cheese steaks, you won't be disappointed.
Timothy F — Google review
Every year when I go to Allentown for Drum Corps International, I always go to Yocco’s for lunch breaks from walking around the warm up lots. Their chili dogs are top notch, especially with cheese. I’m not sure if their pierogies are store-bought, but they’re absolutely delicious. The prices are surprisingly mind-blowing - I bought 3 chili cheese dogs for only EIGHT BUCKS!! Their service is similar to any particular fast-food restaurant - It can get a little confusing when you’re ordering something off the menu, but that’s a very minor and understandable issue. Overall, I highly recommend this hot dog spot to anyone who’s either a DCI fan or looking for a budget-friendly meal. 9.5/10

Quite possibly one of the best fast food restaurants I’ve ever been to. Food is incredibly priced, staff was super friendly, food was out quick, atmosphere and even the graphic design and mascot was great. Plenty of parking, cannot state how great this place is.

The Allentown Rose Garden is a popular local park featuring a picturesque rose garden with paved walking paths, fitness and exercise trail, and three pavilions. The park is well-known for its beautiful scenery and attracts many photographers seeking to capture the perfect shot. In addition to the lovely roses, visitors can enjoy various lake-like areas, concrete art structures and mature trees throughout the seasons.
I have checked out this garden for 1st time in 2nd half of October on a warm sunny weekend and was pleasantly surprised seeing many roses still in bloom. Park’s architecture and gorgeous landscaping deserves separate mention. Plentiful street-side parking next to garden’s entrance.
Mike Z — Google review
Mid-August is not the best time to view the Roses but the flower garden was blooming nicely. Paved walking trails mostly in the Sun surrounded by well maintained grounds.
Dee G — Google review
If you like flowers & tranquility you have found the right place! There are several noteworthy statues, a water fountain ⛲, areas to sit, scenic spots to take a picture & other things to see at the MGRG! Make sure you go on a nice day & you'll have the time of your life! The restrooms in the area close during Fall so keep that in mind maybe.
Donald H — Google review
Went for the 1st time a few weeks ago. Its a beautiful place to go for piece of mind. All the flowers were not out or were but now not in season but in May it will be a beautiful place for wedding or any event pictures. The place is huge, its has small ponds and other sections we didn't get to cover but its a pretty garden/ park. Lots of seating areas, you can jog another section there is a play area for children etc. Beautiful, quiet, clean place.
Sulahyl M — Google review
This park is my favorite park to walk through. Not only does it have amazing scenery, but the atmosphere and its location are also amazing. The flowers are starting to bloom, and the garden is becoming more and more alive. Beautiful place for pictures for any type of event.

Beautiful place to walk around. The only thing that wasn't good was there was no bathrooms.
Calvin C — Google review
Beautiful scenic area. Not many roses in bloom when I went but it was still beautiful to walk through. There were other flowers also. Little bridge and flowing water nearby. It was nice 😊

Beautiful and spacious park with a neat pond and a jogging trail around it in the center. Seems to be a popular spot for photo shoots, there were several people taking photos at sunset. Easy street parking.

Trexler Memorial Park, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is a serene oasis offering picturesque landscapes and recreational activities for all. The park features large old trees, grassy lawns, and a duck pond surrounded by scenic walking trails. Visitors can enjoy picnics by the gentle waters of Little Cedar Creek or explore the beautiful rose garden.
Terrific place to take a nice walk and enjoy the scenery. The little homestead is nicely preserved as its original state. Although if you're lucky you'll find a secret door on the premise if you look hard enough you'll see which I believe is a cool subtle touch. Bravo to the person who added it. Can you get a little busy and there's a little too cookie cutter for my liking simply for the fact of needing lines put on the walkway. But that's just my opinion
Nathan S — Google review
Very nice park, plenty of room to spread out, walking trails, beaches, man made lake.
Calvina G — Google review
Great park! Great views, relaxing walk, and nice people. Perfect place to bring your dog for a walk or to drink a coffee and think. We had fun playing a quick game of catch while walking the upper loop. Highly recommend a stop here at Trexler Park!
Kevin S — Google review
Great park area to walk and ride bikes. Tons of grass area for picnics. There are public restrooms
Rose — Google review
Great green beautiful park to walk or bike. Plenty of free parking. Nice wide paths. Great variety of flowers plants and trees. One Restroom building with your basic old grungy park restrooms. No paper towels, just those useless air blowers.
B C — Google review
Awesome as always. It’s good to see the deer here (and not on the road!). They’re friendly. The path is always clean and clear. It’s bathroom friendly which is a HUGE plus. Can’t walk other parks like Cedar Beach because they close the bathrooms for the winter. Bottom loop is ~1.38 miles and the more difficult loop up past the statue comes out to 2.25 miles if you take the long way. They say it closed at sunset, but I’ve been walking at night with flashlight. It’s very calm, quiet, and lovely.

Burrito restaurant
Cali Burrito is a Mexican eatery that offers customizable burritos and embodies a Californian vibe. This establishment has received consistent praise from multiple customers, as their burritos are substantial and satisfying. Notably featured are the San Diego fried fish tacos and the Big Sur burrito, which were both highly enjoyable. The service is prompt, with minimal wait times of just 5 minutes to receive food. Inside, there is ample seating suitable for families, attracting many individuals with young children.
Stopped in for some takeout. The restaurant has comfortable indoor seating, in a fun and relaxed vibe. Creative menu with good selections and some specials. No table service and no alcohol. The orders are placed at the counter as you enter. Prices are a little on the high side but the quality is good and good sized portions. Tried their fish tacos which were good and the order comes with two tacos and tortilla chips. They have a small self serve salsa bar for indoor or take out orders. Service is fast and friendly. Large parking lot and easy access from 222/Hamilton Blvd. We enjoyed the fish tacos.
Lor D — Google review
This is well worth the stop! My shrimp burrito was delicious and large! My wife enjoyed her salad and the quesadillas were very cheesy! They have a salsa bar that was very good. The only downside was the chip we’re ok and don’t bother with the guacamole because I didn’t get much. Service was friendly. You order at the counter and they bring it
John E — Google review
My husband and I were just in today for lunch and were very disappointed. Our bill was $47 for the both of us. We each got a quesadilla, a drink and one order of chips and guac to share. I would not recommend at all… The chips were $5.14 and extremely stale, the guac was $10.82 and the texture was off almost paste like. This was definitely not fresh by any means. My husband said his steak (even though it was made with brisket) quesadilla wasn’t bad. My chicken quesadilla was dry yet soggy and the meat was flavorless and tough. 👎🏻 I had high hope from all of the great reviews, but we will definitely NOT be back!
Debbie S — Google review
What happened? I have been going to Cali Burrito for years and have always loved their tacos. I always get the Santa Barbara chicken tacos. The tacos I had tonight were not the tacos I love. The hard shell with the layer of cheese and the soft shell covering them was one of my favorite Cali Burrito signature traits. This was just 2 soft tacos so there was no crunch. The chicken was bland and flavorless. Instead of tasting like it was made on the grill, it tasted like white meat cooked in a crock pot in spiceless water. I am so disappointed.
Lisa S — Google review
Such a fun place and the food is yummy and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend trying it. Update: It's definitely a must try! The help yourself salsa bar always has a special flavor. The Sonoma is my favorite...beef tacos. They come with the home made chips. My husband always gets a burrito. I swear the thing weighs 3 pounds. My kids like the Quesadillas and the chicken tacos. Everything is good!!!

The people who work here are so nice and helpful!!! Came from out of town and wanted to try something new. This place was delicious the queso is so good we got pork tacos regular tacos a burrito bowl and a burrito. $80 for a family of four we are stuffed. We also used the restroom before we left and it was very clean ! Will definitely be back!

I was here for the second time the other day with my friend and we did not have a positive experience. From the moment I got to the counter to order I did not feel welcomed by the girl at the register, she did not say hello or even acknowledge me. I ordered $32 dollars worth of food, I got a Quesadilla, Guac & Chips. She did not tell me that the chips were free, but when my friend tried to order chips she said she shouldn’t because they’re already complementary. As far as the food my friend had bones in her chicken burrito, so she got to swap it for a beef burrito, and they were very apologetic about it. My Quesadilla was so salty I could not eat it, so I asked for a refund. So I told the girl who took our order and she didn’t even want to help me, so she got someone else, did not care at all. The girl who refunded me was nice about it, she asked if I wanted to get something else to swap out but the kitchen was closing up so I didn’t want them to have to make something else. As we got boxes for our chips our cashier was again very apologetic to my friend, saying she hopes her experience didn’t turn her off that usually doesn’t happen, and told her have a good night… and does not say a word to me whatsoever or even look at me. Overall I was treated unfairly for no reason, my friend also noticed how I was treated differently as well by this employee. As someone who works in hospitality, you should never feel that way when you are going into a restaurant that you are paying to eat at, it’s unfortunate. We both won’t be back again.

Very cool little place. Food was good the chips are great but there is to different kinds a thin and a thick chip. The thicker chip is way better it's ashame the whole basket isn't the think chips.

New American restaurant
Grille 3501 is an elegant eatery that offers a blend of dishes from Asian, French, and Mediterranean cuisines in a warm and contemporary environment. This sophisticated restaurant stands out for its attentive and efficient service, as well as its beautiful atmosphere. It tends to fill up quickly, so it's advisable to make reservations ahead of time, even on weekdays. The passion margarita martini was particularly impressive, while the fried dumplings were highly enjoyable.
My girlfriend and I just left here after a long overdue date night and every single part of our night exceeded expectations. We had drinks and an app at the bar first where the bartender was fantastic. Then moved to a table in the dining room where our server Jennifer was equally great. We had the pork belly at the bar and tuna tataki apps and the crab squid pasta and NY strip special as entrees and everything was better than we could’ve hoped for. Thank you grille 3501 we will be back and will definitely be recommending.
Andy W — Google review
Visited this spot for the first time last night with a friend, and it was such a cute and cozy place. The atmosphere was relaxed with a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, plus a chill bar area. We started with the fried dumplings, and they were absolutely delicious crispy and full of flavor. For my entrée, I had the grilled salmon with drunken noodles, and my friend ordered the scallops. Both dishes came out hot and fresh, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly. The only downside was that my dish was a little on the salty side, but overall, everything else was great. It’s definitely a laid-back spot, and you can tell there’s a loyal, older crowd that frequents the place. I’ll definitely be back to try something new!
Llorraine — Google review
Grille 3501 was a solid experience. I was able to grab a same-day reservation for a dinner for two at 7PM, which worked out perfectly. Upon arrival, we were seated right away in what was clearly a busy, lively atmosphere. Our server was friendly, personable, and walked us through the menu with ease — highlighting the specials and giving us a good sense of the restaurant’s overall style. The menu itself was small and well-curated, offering a handful of focused options. To start, I ordered the crispy octopus while my wife went with their featured potato soup. My only real gripe with the octopus was the portion size — it felt a little light for the price point. That being said, what was there was excellent. The combination of lightly fried octopus paired with a cool, crisp slaw and vegetables worked really well together. It just left me wishing there was more of it, probably because it was so good. On the other hand, my wife’s soup was a hit — she had nothing but praise for it. For our entrees, I went with the chef’s choice steak special while my wife opted for the filet mignon. Both were cooked to a perfect medium rare and came with a well-executed side of vegetables. The standout of the night, though, was the drinks. I’ll definitely be back just to explore more of their cocktail menu. I started with the Manhattan on Broadway, which was excellent, and closed out the meal with a Mr. Brightside — both memorable. My wife loved her lavender lemon drop, which she’s already talking about returning for.

Disappointed. A few months ago we visited 3501 and we found the dining room closed. This time our party of 4 arrived for dinner and again found the dining room closed. We were seated in the bar area where the room was crowded, loud and unwelcoming. We had difficulty holding a discussion due to the noise. We were presented with a small piece of paper intended to be our menu and then waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by a server. The salad was good, the bread, which was an extra charge, very ordinary. The seafood Alfredo was reported as watery and soft, maybe over cooked. I had the scallops which were prepared with a vegetable hash of brussels sprouts onions and sweet potato. I found these strong flavors very unpleasant with the mild scallops. Our guests had the salmon and the duck. They politely said "it's good" with no further detail. With so many wonderful dining choices in the area, this one misses the mark. Food and service were just okay; atmosphere needs to improve before we return.

We've been going to grill 3501 for a little over 15 years now. The food is a little on the pricey side and is different than what you'd normally get at the average type of restaurant. They jazz everything up a little with different types of bread and rolls, different style lettuce, etc. they have a wonderful selection of appetizers. I like the chicken dumpling appetizer the most. Their burgers are pretty good but are more non-standard than most with the bread and cheeses they put on them. Overall it's a nice place but more of a once in a while place to eat.

McDonald's is a well-known fast-food chain famous for its burgers and fries. One location offers a clean dining room with a view of Dorney Park, along with courteous staff and quick service during peak times. Another visitor praised the delicious fries and friendly service, despite minor issues with the drive-thru intercom. The staff's kindness was also highlighted by another customer who appreciated their efforts during busy periods.
I came here to try out the new 5$ meal deal. I liked it. Service was fast and courteous. The drive through is two laned and well managed. The lot is clean and there is plenty of parking. The food tasted great and was well worth the $5. A burger, fries, nuggets and a drink. I did not check the nutrition information but I am sure that’s enough fat and calories for most people not training for the Olympics. Highly recommended.

Came to get more credits on the app and bought items from monopoly choices for game peices. No items came with a game peice. The drink was an empty cup so why prompt me for drink choices... then my big Mac did have the extra sauce I wanted.... but where's the rest? Totally a waste of my money. Feels like I should have stopped in trexlertown instead.

Seems like this place is very understaffed, as well as not being organized. I was trying to give this place multiple times to prove itself. But no more, no longer going to this McDonald's, where do I begin? I'm just gonna make it short and sweet. If you want to wait 20 minutes for a cheeseburger with fries and a soda you're going to wait a little longer and they're going to mess up your order as well. Simple as that, this place needs to hire more people and be more professional.

Good was done really fast (we went at 10:30ish after leaving Dorney Park) only negative was the Dr.Pepper tasted a lil weird (metallic as well as flat). We had a decent sized order (2 20piece nuggets, 3 large fries and 3 large drinks) that normally takes a bit of time but it was ready when we got to the pickup window.

Only have experience using their drive thur service. The lady taking the breakfast orders is the best greeter I’ve dealt with. She always sounds cheerful ( at 6am!) polite and courteous. Can’t say the same for the workers in the 2nd window. Regardless of what time, they NEVER say a greeting or anything and just stuff your bag into your hand. I don’t need a smile but at least a simple “hi”.

Repeating what everyone else has said, this is the worst McDonald's in existence. On a Saturday night, I waited 45 minutes to get my food and half the things were missing. Manager went to get my drink cups and never came back. One worker walked out. The manager told the staff to ignore the customers. Others were waiting for food for a minimum of 30 minutes. One lady was waiting for her corrected change and no one was willing to assist her. Curbside orders started walking inside since no one was brining any orders outside. Avoid at all costs.

Kids enjoy playing over there. It is hard to drag them home unless it is the closing time. Food is not the best, but they are not expensive. You are free to bring your own food, they have tables for you to eat.
Xia X — Google review
We waited for 20 minutes at the speaker for anyone to even talk to us. We finally have someone answer us and pull around to be stuck behind a car at the first window still waiting to be helped. Finally we get to the second window for our mobile order for TWO COKES and they proceed to tell us that they don’t have it. We tried explaining to them that we changed the order to inside because we thought the speaker was broken. We couldn’t go inside bc we were already in the line and they just stared at us. We drove away and went inside to see they were just sitting on the counter. I don’t know if they are understaffed but this McDonald’s needs some serious help.

Classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers & fries.
Great service, friendly staff and patrons. Fantastic play place set away from other dining area that accommodates toddlers and older kiddos with its own family restroom in same area. Always impressive to positively rate a McDonald's!

I went though the drive through August 1st I was waiting in the drive through for 45 minutes (3 people were in front of me) and when I got my food they didn’t mix my McFlurry, my fries were cold, my nuggets were stale, and they didn’t give me my sweet tea. I asked for it and the guy at the window stated that he “wasn’t going to give it to me cause they were almost out and he wanted it.” I was so confused because I paid for a large sweet tea and he didn’t want to give it to me. He then gave me a half full, sweet tea that was loaded with ice to the brim. I got barely 3 sips out of it. They wouldn’t let me have my receipt to leave a review either.

Idk why y’all always make me pull ahead. I order 2 cheeseburgers? “Please pull ahead we’ll bring it out”. I order $100 worth of food? I gotta pull ahead. I order pickup 30 minutes before picking I up in the drive through? Pull ahead. It makes no sense. Food is good but I have to always ask them to put in the sauces even if I pay for them bc they always forget. On a funny note, one time I couldn’t pull ahead when they asked because there were already 2 cars waiting and I would have blocked the drive through, so literally less than a minute later they handed me my entire order. I think they just made you pull ahead as a joke as it seriously makes no sense. The lady always kind of is smirking when she asks too. I’d love to know what’s so funny about that. “Ha ha we’re making you wait for your food that’s already ready”. Kinda weird. Food is always fresh tho but other than that 0 stars.

I placed an order on DoorDash and turns out that the order was taken by another dasher or someone else. The store refused to acknowledge THEIR mistake and redo the order and treated my dasher rude in the store. They wanted to cancel when on my end it says without refund. I had to contact support and play middleman between dasher and customer service. DO BETTER on DoorDash maybe actually monitor your orders.

i ordered food thru the app and sent my grandson to pick it up for me and they refused to give it to him because i wasn’t within a mile radius i’m at home sick and that’s why i sent him. what is the issue? the guy who i spoke to was rude and basically said he doesn’t care. won’t go back to this place again. oh and they had no problem charging my card though for the food and now i gotta wait for a refund

Mark in drive thru is great, give him more money, the other guy Eddie needs to brush up on verbal skills. I left after 2 other cars got around me waiting for him to take my order in lane 1. I won't be back here and it's the closest Store.

My fries were not fresh but were still tasty. The automated order machine did not give me an option to order water with my meal and no receipt printed when I was done. I hit the " help " button but no one came out. I had to go to the register to let them know I had an issue. They were nice but the process was overall confusing.

Messed up my order the last 2 visits. This place has been getting worse by the day. Used to be the best now they don't seem to care, and the burgers are always covered in grease. Got to the drive through at 9:08, at 9:18 they gave me a messed up order, went back in line and told them, they told me to park up and wait. It's now been 15 minutes and still no food. So I'm going on 45 minutes of waiting for 4 burgers. Disgraceful.

Shopping
Lehigh Valley Mall is a bustling split-level shopping destination with three department stores, a variety of global brands, and an array of dining options. The mall has a rich history dating back to its opening in 1976 and has since evolved into a vibrant hub for retail and entertainment. Visitors can expect to find well-known anchor stores like JC Penney, Macy's, and Boscov's alongside numerous smaller shops offering fashion, electronics, and more.
Great mall, not too big and has every store you need. Great selection of restaurants in the surrounding areas. Doesn't get overwhelming with crowds and offers plenty of parking.
Jasmine T — Google review
It’s your typical mall. Plenty of selection, but nothing too exciting making it special. The outer stores seem more enticing and balance it out. We used the playground inside. Electronic game could use a little help, but probably just signs of use. Spinner seat and stepping stones were loved, as was the seating. The climbing leaf was cute, and the kids seemed to like the cubed/webbed climber to play. We met up for a walk. It worked as an inside space, but definitely needed to do a lot of looping back and forth as the length is on the shorter side.
Crystal B — Google review
It has more stores than most malls. I found a Lululemon. It’s a very nice store & the young woman who helped me was very nice. It was my first time & I bought a pair of shorts & long pants. Extremely comfortable. I’ll go back.

A lot of nostalgia when I go back here! As a kid you always wanted to be at the mall, but yes times have changed. The Lehigh Valley Mall does a good job of keeping itself clean and full of retailers. The youth today just don't understand how important a mall used to be in our lives. Obviously online sales have become the standard, but there's nothing like walking around the mall and shopping for that next thing. Also, there is plenty of food selection, so still a good mall to visit and shop in!!!
Rob W — Google review
My partner and I give Lehigh Valley Mall five stars for the great time we had! We enjoyed shopping at Boscov's, the retail store Apple, the game store GameStop, and clothing store lululemon. The location is top-notch, offering a diverse, upscale, and clean shopping experience. The best part was the gorgeous sunset we saw over the Lehigh Valley as we were leaving in the evening.

Lehigh Valley Mall is a great place to shop with a wide variety of stores to choose from. The layout makes it easy to find what you’re looking for, and everything was very clean and well-kept during our visit. It’s a comfortable and convenient mall—perfect for a casual shopping day. We didn’t check out the food court this time, but overall, a really positive experience!

Coca-Cola Park, located in Allentown, PA, is the home of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, a Minor League Baseball team affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies. The park boasts a seating capacity of 8,278 and offers an exciting atmosphere for baseball enthusiasts. Since its opening in 2008, it has become known for its fan-friendly environment and impressive architectural design that provides expansive views of the field.
Great place to catch a game! Ticket prices are very reasonable, and there are tons of food options throughout the stadium. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and the whole experience is fun and family-friendly. Love that they offer shuttle service from the parking lot if the walk is too far. A perfect way to spend a spring or summer evening in the Lehigh Valley!

What? An experience similar to Citizens Park at the microscopic cost! And not to sound too dramatic but the food options are much better, cheaper, and even more easily accessible. The bars were on fire the night we enjoyed the game along with some after game fireworks. Highly recommend this place for families that love baseball or are looking for a great outdoor experience of entertainment. Highly recommend this field to anyone within a 100 mile radius or that travels with love of the game.

One of the best places to watch high-level Baseball at reasonable prices. Not only that, it's great fun! The only issue on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in September were a high amount of bees in the Picnic Patio. Made us a bit uncomfortable, but we did not get stung! Didn't ruin our rating. Wonderful time.

What a fun stadium. Not a bad seat in the house. Consessions and beers are about 1/2 the price of major league parks. The team store had a lot of great merch, including some of the gear from the limited edition one-time team names. The game itself is always entertaining, there are always a few guys from the majors on the team. You're basically getting major league talent for minor league prices. Lots of parking right next to the stadium, it was a piece of cake getting in and out.

Coca Cola Park in Allentown, PA is an excellent minor league baseball stadium! It is home to the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, the AAA affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The area has one of the most enthusiastic fan bases in all of minor league baseball. The stadium is usually packed to the gills and an awesome experience is to be had here. Capacity for the stadium is a little over 10,000 people. Sightlines to the field are excellent. There are many luxury suites throughout the stadium. The 100 level and 200 level seats offer affordable seats with excellent options. The outfield offers standing room only seats on the grassy berm. In-game entertainment here is great. There are all sorts of team giveaways and fan based activities between innings. When a home run is hit, “brick smokestacks” in the outfield blow smoke as a tribute to the region's industrial heritage. Fireworks behind the Coca Cola sign also go off. The team mascot “Ferrous” is very similar to that of the beloved Phillie Phanatic. Concession choices are plentiful here. There are local favorites like the pork racer and pork parfait. Your standard ballpark fare like popcorn, hotdogs, nachos, ice cream and soda can all be found here. The team merchandise shop is huge and loaded with all sorts of Iron Pigs merch. The stadium is surrounded by large parking lots. There is enough room for everyone here, but it can be slow. It is best to buy your tickets ahead of time online for a game here, because games sell out fast. A great time is to be had here for all!

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, play their games at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown. The stadium offers a great atmosphere and seating close to the action. Allentown is known for its award-winning parks and rich Dutch history. The Downtown Allentown Market, located along the ArtsWalk, provides a unique experience. The ballpark is family-friendly with clean facilities, ample food and beverage choices, and friendly staff.
Possibly the BEST family entertainment value in Lehigh Valley. Even if you aren't a huge baseball fan (we aren't), going to a game at Iron Pigs is still a great evening out. Especially if you can get tickets via a group or local church like we did. Stay for the fireworks, you won't be disappointed!

I thought I had never been to a game before but a family member insists I was there. Still not so sure. At any rate ... It was a good time being out in the beautiful weather last night. Perfect temps and low humidity made it a great night. Plus we we upstairs not mingling with the plebs and had food and drinks provided so that was great. The game itself was not very exciting except for so many people nearly getting smashed with foul balls. That was very interesting to watch! Not even sure if the Pigs won or not. The park is very nice and a clean facility. All the staff was very nice as well. Beer prices were less than I expected! I got 2 big yuengling cans, and three summer shandies plus a modest tip = $48. Not too bad.

The IronPigs took the “L” today… but at least the Chickies and Pete's Crab Fries didn’t disappoint. Let’s be honest — the team didn’t play worth a “you-know-what,” but hey, a day at Coca-Cola Park is still better than a day sitting in traffic. Between the 80° temps sunshine, the snacks, and the after game fireworks show, we had ourselves a good time. Bonus points for Girl Scout Recognition Day and First Responders Day — it was great to see the community celebrated, even if the scoreboard wasn’t worth looking at. Final score: Rochester - 11 IronPigs - 4 My Rita's Gelati - undefeated.

Winston's Jamaican Restaurant is a humble and authentic eatery that serves traditional dishes from Jamaica alongside unique desserts. This newly opened counter-serve joint offers a delightful oxtail platter, which comes with generous portions of flavorful rice and mac n cheese. The owner, Winston, is friendly and welcoming, making visitors feel at home. The food is fresh and reasonably priced, appealing to both locals and tourists alike.
If I could give a six I would. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. They gave great suggestions and the food was so authentic and delicious. The jerk chicken was the best I’ve had spicy and delicious. The oxtails with rice and peas with gravy a flavorful delight. The Mac n cheese pie is highly recommended as well as the beef and chicken patties.

I asked for oxtails rice and peas with vegetables when I got home, there was no oxtails there. The lady that served the food. She was real slick into saying you could pay for your food now so while you’re paying for your food, she hurries up and put your food in the bag so when you get home, you just have nothing but Rice and gravy and oxtails bones. Be careful when they make your plate. Make sure you’re present and don’t fall for the trick or paying for your food while they’re making it. It was a young girl that’s in there. Overall food is good. The girl service is no good. The atmosphere is OK but the portions of the food is not worth the money that you’re spending.

I’ve been craving an oxtail platter for weeks upon weeks. So, once I finally had the time to order on DoorDash, I decided to order from here. Ngl, I was a bit cautious beforehand because of other reviews that I read. But, I took the chance nevertheless and I can easily say this was probably the best oxtail I ever ate hands down 😩 !!! As a professional foodie / big back, I rate this a 10/10. The oxtail fell off the bone and melted in my mouth - barely any fat 😍 The cabbage was delicious and the rice & beans were perfect. I also ordered a side of small mac and cheese which was excellent - hella flavor and seasoning. All my food was still hot and fresh when it came and completely uplifted my mood after devouring it … hence why there’s only an after picture lmao sorry. My jaw literally dropped as soon as I opened the platter and I immediately started digging in. 10/10 WILL be coming back for more 😝

Stop by here based on reviews. I wasn't disappointed, lovely smell upon entering the establishment. I ordered oxtail which came with rice and cabbage, all was delicious. I couldn't help myself, ordered two more to go orders and a side of mac and cheese. I live two hours away, so I didn't want to ruin the experience.

I used to frequent Winston for years when Winston was in the front and his wife cooking. Over the years things changed. Im sad to see this decline in food and quality. I no longer live in the area and my wife stopped by to grab me some food on the way home. This was probably the last time I will visit. The order was oxtail with provisions. As a west indian person I know its just best to make it your self but there are times when you just want to have good food and not cook. Unfortunately this was not that time. The food was bland, cabbage was not steamed and worst off just did not taste like home. I truly hope they turn things around, if there is new ownership or someone new cooking. Good luck.

First time having Winston’s this past weekend 3/13/2021 and the food was delicious 😋. My sister catered and the taste was as great as the smells from the kitchen. We will definitely order again soon.

A little disappointed today…food was great per usual but the portion size just wasn’t the usual. It was a younger lady and the older lady told her to add more to the second platter and I didn’t see what the first order looked like until I got home. You would think if they ran out of sweet plantains they would add more of something but instead it’s way less than usual. Winston’s usually fills up the entire platter and I always rave about their portion sizes but what the heck???

PPL Center is a modern indoor arena located in the heart of the city, hosting a variety of events including sporting competitions, concerts, and touring productions. It is home to the American Hockey League's Lehigh Valley Phantoms and hosts thrilling shows and entertainment throughout the year. The 8,500-seat arena also serves as a venue for other sports events such as ice hockey games featuring the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and National Arena League indoor football games with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks.
I took my family to the PPL Center to see Saquon Barkley. The mayors of Allentown and Whitehall were present and gave him the key to the city. The facility was great! Very clean, easy to navigate, lots of vendors providing a variety of foods, drinks, etc. The bathrooms were clean and conveniently located. There was a DJ who was plugged into the PA system... that wasn't the best sound. It has some echo throughout the area, but in a venue that size, that is somewhat expected. The staff was very accommodating for the handicapped individual near us. Parking was available in different locations and easy to find. We'll definitely go there again!

We went to see Papa Roach here. Never was at this venue and have to say it's honestly now one of my favorites! First off, I don't think there was a bad seat we could've gotten. Second, we bought the tix back in March and got best available. Well best available was amazing seats! We were in the Morning Call club seat area. A++++++ venue and show!

Great mid sized arena, perfect for hockey. Lighting and sightings were all good; atmosphere good for a Lehigh Valley Phantoms game. Entertainment value good also. Food choices and amenities were standard and readily accessible. Location and parking nearby were also readily available - Walnut St garage was easy in and out and just a short walk away. Huge plus is the arena has a Tim Horton's inside. Definite recommendation to attend a Phantoms game here.

Great atmosphere. Small venue. Great sound and parking was only $3.20!In and out ! No issues at all. I will definitely see more concerts here!
Ted C — Google review
Was surprised at how easy it was to get to center and park within walking distance. The arena is larger than expected and great for sports venues. I dropped one star as for comedy acts the center is so large and have to keep head turned to see stage ( depending on seating). For stage shows do floor seating and or close to stage. Hints. Bring small bag (women) and leave metal items home for quick entry through metal detectors.

Surprisingly easy access. Entry was orderly, smooth, and problem free. Plenty of parking garages around. Be advised that the streets are one-way. Had to ask for directions, and the garage girl was perfect! The venue is wide open, airy, and cool. Bring a jacket.

Farmers Markets
The Allentown Farmers Market, a beloved institution since 1953, is a bustling hub of activity with over 65 vendors offering an array of fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and ready-made foods. Nestled within the expansive building at the Allentown Fairgrounds, this market exudes a lively yet laid-back atmosphere that draws in both locals and tourists. With its colorful chaos and diverse offerings, it has become a tradition in the Lehigh Valley area.
Wow. This is a massive indoor market. Runs really long with tons of indoor options. Multiple bakeries, deli’s, grocery stands, food stands, etc etc. There are multiple indoor restaurants if you want to grab a bite; even a couple with Asian leanings which I was surprised to see in a place which is so heavily Amish influenced. And also so many shopping options that you could be stopping by to do your grocery shopping for the week or even specialty shops such as a watch repair store or maybe you need some pet supplies. This indoor bazaar has it all. A lot of the meats and cold cuts look very fresh and delicious. I really liked the pretzel shop, delicious pretzels, and also the Kiffle Kitchen. Kiffles are delicious though not cheap. I will also say that the fruits and vegetables looked brightly colored, clean, and fantastic. Looks like everybody really care about the wares and out in the effort to show it.

I absolutely love this farmer's market! There's so much to explore from the vibrant stands overflowing with fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to the mouthwatering variety of food vendors and restaurants offering everything from handmade pastries to global street food. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with friendly vendors, and the irresistible aroma of fresh-cooked meals in the air. Whether you're shopping for organic produce, grabbing a delicious bite to eat, or just soaking in the community vibe, this market truly has it all!

Large selection of really impressive fresh produce at reasonable prices. There are also various counters offering butcher cuts of assorted super fresh meats, fresh ice cream, nuts, sea food. Most vendors keep out free samples so you can try before you purchase as well. In between are hot fresh food restaurants. I got mandu from "Little Miss Korea" & the food was incredible. The owners were also really nice and polite. I also grabbed a cheesesteak roll from an Amish counter that was hot and pretty good. This place is somewhere different to spend a couple hours and get a different grocery shopping experience and a meal. Good for kids also.

Love it! The food is fresh. The fruits and vegetables are amazing and look and taste nothing like a chain grocery store's thank goodness. The different cultural foods are fantastic. Pricier than chain stores but well worth it for the freshness of the foods and the knowledge of the origins of said food.

Great variety of vendors, fresh produce, Little Miss Korea has delicious food. The vendor in MacNeill Market has a good selection of stones, oils, incense and the like and is a very friendly fellow.

Coffee shop
Tim Hortons is a renowned Canadian coffee chain that offers a selection of high-quality, exclusive blend coffees, as well as light food options such as pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Although their timbits are delicious, some customers find the small size of the establishment to be a drawback. Additionally, there have been complaints about unhelpful cashiers who were reluctant to provide an extra cup for cream-laden coffees. However, the incredible taste of the timbits compensates for these shortcomings.
Tim Hortons is the ultimate money saver when you're at an event at the PPL center. They have hot food, sweets, coffee/tea/fountain drinks. For a hockey game we all get a chili and drink. It's a HUGE difference in $$ than getting food in the arena. The quality is good. The chili is obviously mass produced and in a bag before serving, but it's a hockey game not a 5 star restaurant. Staff is friendly but seem overwhelmed or understaffed. Line moves quickly. Clean and easily accessible from inside the PPL center.

I had a tuna sandwich and coffee. The bread was fresh but a little hard. The place was clean, and the music wasn’t too loud. However, when I placed my order, the lady named J. laughed at me, as if I was supposed to already know what was on their menu. It felt like she was trying to embarrass me. Fortunately, she was working alongside a customer-focused lady who quickly stepped in to clarify my request.

One of my favorite all time chain donuts is the maple stuffed donut from Timmy Ho's. I have had...a lot...I mean a lot of donuts in my life and this is firmly like top 3 from a chain. When I found out that I could grab some while watching some hockey at the PPL center it was an absolute game changer for me. I eventually found out that (especially in the morning call club) the PPL center has some other very good food too, but I always come back to Timmy for my fix. I can't say much for the ambiance here because I have never actually used the outside door and come during normal hours. I have had stuff here 4 times now and each time was during a hockey game so naturally the lines are long and they're running around like crazy in the back. They are definitely at least still friendly while trying to keep up with the masses.

Absolutely a must try if you never have. This Canadian coffee HITS! The multitude of options to order is another hit. A customer service is wonderful!! Delicious 😋
Adventures D — Google review
insanely slow. Waited over 20 min for a fountain soda, I left before I even got it. You’re better off paying $9 for a soda inside the arena, you’ll actually get what you paid for.

Great service, was a little noisy because of the rush of people this morning and the employee working with me handled it really well considering how fast everything was going. Grabbed a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, strawberrry frosted donut, and a caramel capp w/ 2 shots. Food was great and was done within less than 10 minutes. First and definitely not the last time I'll visit. Wish they were open later!

Visited you shop inside the phantoms area literally 5 min ago. Asked for a vanilla cup in the helmet. Was asked if I wanted toppings. I said just the chocolate syrup and whip cream. The girl at the counter said it was all or nothing. I told her I didn't want the sprinkles. I cant eat them. So she said it's all or nothing cause it's to difficult to look at the receipt when she has a line of customers to figure out what customer gets what. So I left with nothing. I can't eat the sprinkles because they get under my dentures and cause a lot of pain. So I had to chose between being in pain or no ice cream today. Will never go back and will tell everyone I know. Bad business. Also my sons girlfriend was with me she ordered and had her ice cream handed to her while she paid. So don't know why mine couldn't have been done the same.
Nicole L — Google review
If I can give this place a zero star review I would. The service was garbage and the people didnt know how to take a simple order. The person the took our order Neisha was completely rude and disorganized. If this is how Tim Horton like to treat there costumers then trust me, I'm never eating in any of the Tim Hortons chains. I'm completely disappointed by there lack of service and disorganization

Restaurant
Ritz Barbecue is an 80-year-old establishment in Allentown known for its simple and unfussy food served in a modest setting. The menu features barbecue sandwiches, roast beef, pork sandwiches, and house-made ice cream. While it may seem like a barbecue joint, it has more of a diner atmosphere with friendly staff and a place where local families gather. The picnic barbecue offers a sandwich and two sides, although the classic smoked BBQ might not meet expectations.
The Ritz is great, and not just for nostalgia sake. I've been eating here for over 50 years. My parents took us here for ice cream and sundaes as kids. They have all the typical Americana dishes, HUGE cakes and pies, dozens of ice cream flavors. Many servers worked there decades. The ambiance is great- more pure Americana. The prices are so reasonable, even throughout inflation. The servers are a hoot! There are weekly specials. My most recent meal was a corn pie special, with applesauce, and a salad with hot bacon dressing. Loved it all.
Denise K — Google review
The Ritz has a cool sensation of yesteryear with a kind and wonderful serving staff. The place is relatively quiet and is always clean. My girlfriend loved her BLT with fries (no tomato and added American cheese). I needed protein and got the meat lovers breakfast (three eggs, bacon, four sausage links, and an amazing ham steak). The rye toast came dry and overdone and the home fries were bland. They have homemade ice cream and I enjoyed the black raspberry (though too sweet) and my girlfriend loved her soft serve vanilla with sprinkles in a wafer cone.

We were in town for the gun show at the fairgrounds and we stopped by Ritz BBQ to get breakfast. The customer service, the food, the atmosphere and the parking were top notch. 5/11/24 920 AM. Thank you for the Crispy Scrapple by L.L.!!!!

The Ritz BBQ was busy with the classic car cruise but we got right in. They are quick to serve and the good arrives quickly. The portions are huge. Prices are good, too.

First time here.. I stared to take pictures.. but once the food showed up.. I jumped right in on eating it... Then I had ice cream and half way through realized I forgot the photos.. totally worth stopping in and give it a try.. was very much worth it and will be back.. oh note all the staff was friendly and willing to answer all my questions about the menu.. the supply chain and the 100 year history of the restaurant!!!
Dean O — Google review
They have all the normal Americana dishes. It was busy with the Allentown Fair, but we got right in. The portions are huge. Prices are reasonable. Service is good/friendly staff, but slow. Dinner has a throwback/ old school feel to it.

I want to love this place, but have been disappointed in food being cold and in staff that are clearly overworked. The labor shortage seems to be working against all service jobs.
Ames P — Google review
It’s a lovely location and they are sort of iconic, but the food is very bland and needs to be updated. The food is fresh, but they’ve been just using techniques to enhance the flavor of meat or anything however, they’re friendly and family owned.

Italian restaurant
Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant offers a family-style dining experience with authentic Italian cuisine in a vintage setting. The restaurant is known for its kitschy charm, featuring red-and-white tablecloths and an eclectic decor with photos and statues to explore. Located on Grape Street in Whitehall, PA, it's a popular spot for special occasions or casual gatherings with friends. The menu boasts classic dishes like chicken parmigiana and generous portions meant for sharing.
Absolutely the best chicken parmigiana EVER!!! And the tomato sauce is exactly what you are thinking about when you think of authentic Italian. Service is great. It is so interesting to sit in there! Every room is different and there are tons of photos and statues to look at and read about. We were too full for dessert but we saw a HUGE champagne glass filled with a brownie, ice cream and whipped cream. It is family style dining and the portions are large. Definitely going back!!

Classic old world charm serves family-style. Easy access from Route 22 via Grape Street. Very neat restaurant as you walk inside you're greeted by two or three person host team one of the few restaurants that still has a coat check. The inside restaurant is like a maze as if it was through Italy, upon walking back you walk through the restaurant and through the kitchen and get to see the meals being prepared as you can inspect the cleanliness as well. Prices are in line with family style a small generally serves 3 people and a large serves about 5 everything is large so please plan accordingly. Very neat ambience. All servers are in uniform and are well knowledgeable very relatable staff good wine list and after dinner drinks do not forget dessert you won't regret it

We’re there last night for my husband’s birthday and had a great time -always do! Chrystopher was wonderful; the general manager stopped by to check on things; the food was great! We never feel rushed and there’s always enough for leftovers to take home!

This place always caught my eye when driving by. So we decided to go for a family dinner. One cool thing is you enter thru there kitchen kids loved it. So here is where just it started to fall apart. They took us to our table ( which the chairs and table cloth where dirty I had to wipe them off ) gave us menus but not the kids. So I had to walk to the front ask for them. Was kinda of confused since the waiter never asked if we been there before. Which most places ask you to see, if you need some guidance thru the menu. Then after we asked what came with the "entrees' she said nothing everything u have to order separate. Which was a shock but ok then she said only bread. We ordered our drinks, meals and appetizers. Just this place is expensive the drinks a pitcher of sangria was over $30 most of it was just ice and juice. The food was not as tasty nor fresh. It was an ok experience but definitely not going again. Just know if your going here your gonna spend a pretty penny for ok food.

Food is served family style, you buy it by the dish and everyone takes the share they want from it. If your a first timer, join their club online a day or so before you go and you can get a free small entree.

Brazilian restaurant
Rodizio Grill Lehigh Valley is an outpost of a well-known Brazilian steakhouse chain, offering a unique dining experience with skewered meats carved tableside and a diverse salad bar. Located on Lehigh Street in Allentown, PA, this authentic restaurant has garnered national media attention and offers a wide variety of food options. The concept involves flipping a wood block: when the green side is up, servers continue to bring an assortment of meats, while the red side indicates a pause.

Our experience their was great. It was our first time there. The service was great, the hospitality was amazing and Pedro, the manager, interacted great with all of the guests. He is a true master at his profession. The food was amazing, when they taught us how to use the red and green block, to signify, taking a break from all the food coming at you so fast, I thought, just bring it on, but we had to take about 3 breaks to truly savior the flavors that were coming at us so fast. Awesome restaurant, I would recommend it to anyone, just make sure your hungry............

What a nice time we had here. I really liked the atmosphere, it was fun but not too noisy. Our Servers were attentive and all smiles, a very nice young man. The food was delicious. They might be a little too spicy or garlic onion oriented for some people but for me it was perfect because I enjoy a good spice kick! I'd highly recommend it here, especially if you have a family or some kind of party as there seemed to be a lot of those.
Fran G — Google review
Great food, in large quantities. Servers were very engaging and friendly. Pedro, the store manager was specially nice and stopped by our table a couple times. Price was reasonable. Most of the people in the table were new to their concept but were amazed at the service and will definitely be coming back

Had one of the coolest waiters, and the place looks clean. Definitely an interesting concept with the flipping of a wood block, if green side is up, they keep bringing meat to you and if red side is up, they don't. Problem is with the price, hence one star off. The food is good, don't get me wrong, but it doesn't constitute the price they charge. I think it's because of this price that the place was not crowded. Also, it depends on what day you go because they serve different meats each day.

Don't park here long, they'll tow you away. It's always hard to find parking inside the maze as well. I generally avoid shopping here unless it's by a lot with lots of parking. Love Bar Louie though, and sittingnin the pavilion by Starbucks.

Previewed "Ordinary Angels" on August 23, 2023 at the AMC theatre by invitation only, and I live 2 hours west of here! Based on a true story that brought tears to my eyes several times. Went to Happy Hour at Bar Louie before the film. A little pricey at $7 for a Havana Nights cocktail with a big square ice cube that is normally $11. A Miller Lite draft was $4. Great atmosphere with seating available outside. Didn't try the food, but a little pricey. Most of the shops were on the higher retail end. All are outside entrances with walkways like a town center. Saw a band setting up to play live music outside, and this was a Wednesday.

Eugene R — Google review
This place is has such a smooth, night-out-like layout that’s perfect for so many occasions. The issue is its lack of exciting stores and vast lack of restaurant choices. Who the heck still shops at J Jill? People STILL go to Banana Republic? There’s plenty of parking spots available toward the back especially if you don’t find any closer to the buildings. The properties are well kept and the staff is friendly as well. The last time we went to Melt was such a letdown we’re never going there again. Top Cut doesn’t have many options either which sucks because their prices are obviously not the lowest. This place has potential which is a bit sad because it’s been around for so long.

Melt is an upscale Italian eatery known for its delicious food and popular rooftop bar. The restaurant offers a fine dining experience with attentive servers and a variety of panini options. While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality and flavor of the dishes make up for it. Some standout menu items include the Bolognese, carbonara, and salmon, while the desserts are also highly recommended.
I was trying to find a high end Italian restaurant that wasn’t too far away from home and I stumbled upon this gem. All I can say is WOW! The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning and a very elegant atmosphere. Our servers name was Laura and she was inviting, willing to discuss the menu and knew a lot about it and lastly so pleasant to speak with. The food was to die for, my husband got the raviolis as an appetizer and I got the Caesar salad. For our entrees, he got the scallops and I got the carbonara. Food came out in good timing, nicely spaced apart. Great sized portions and you can tell everything was made from scratch. Thank you again to Laura for your exceptional service and we cannot wait to come back to Melt!

I have not been to Melt in about 15 years. However, it is just as visually impressive as ever and has the best aesthetics of any restaurant I have visited. Our hostess was truly pleasurable, Juan was our kind and helpful server who really took care of us. Our Sunday brunch was wonderful. I enjoyed the crab stuffed portobello mushroom though the lemon-based sauce became a bit overwhelming. My girlfriend loved her omelette and potatoes. We look forward to returning for dinner.
Crash P — Google review
I wanted to love this place, I really did. The setting and decor are impressive. The service was fast and attentive. The items on the menu were enticing. The food, however, was not (as it should have been) the high point of our lunch. Two of us ordered Caesar salad. I’ve had many good Caesar salads, including one’s made at the table side. The key is the dressing, the anchovies the flavor. Well, the lettuce was good lol. It was not swimming in dressing, which is good but it tasted like standard food service dressing with standard food service croutons. I could’ve gone to Olive Garden. I added grilled chicken to mine, which was well prepared. One of our party got the Caprice Panino imperial the ingredients for fresh, but otherwise nothing to write home about. One of our party ordered pappardelle al vitello. According to that person (I did not taste it myself) it was OK but could’ve used more flavor. In closing, it is a high-end group type restaurant with nice decor and adequate but not compelling cuisine

I’ve heard about this restaurant for many years. Finally decided to give it a try with a girlfriend. The meatballs were cold and bland. The noodles were cold and hard. When I got home I experienced a lot of gas which turned into full blown food poisoning. I was sick for 48 hours. Still not 100% but I’m feeling much better. After reading other reviews, I’ve noticed that several people have reported food poisoning. I’m not sure what’s going on but this place needs to be investigated.

This 3 storeyed fine dining Italian place has the perfect ambience appropriate for our anniversary dinner. It was a Sunday dinner so I'm assuming it was the reason the service was very super slow. Ordered in some fried calamari and caesar salad for appetizers. Complimentary bread was fresh. They were decent. Ordered ravioli which said it had "pesto" but when iyt arrived pesto was just a 1 drop of dressing on the pasta. Then why write it ?? The pasta was bland. Our server had too much on his plate. He circled back every 15 mins since we were seated far away from the center. Didn't ask if we're celebrating anything whereas I could clearly hear other servers asking it. Since the restaurant was closing soon, I could see some trainees literally vaccuming the floor and agreesively cleaning the tables and wine glasses next to me .I couldn't focus on anything since it was a bit disturbing.

Celebrated our 9 year anniversary here last night and the staff made it a memorable evening! Everything was perfect! The food was amazing (as always!) and you just can't beat Melt for a romantic atmosphere. The owner George was absolutely wonderful and we want to thank you for everything you did for us to make the night even better! I can not go without mentioning CJ, the Sous Chef and the best brother-in-law a guy could ask for! Thank you to all the staff that made our night one of the best anniversaries yet! If you haven't tried one of George's restaurants please don't punish yourself like that! You won't be disappointed!

Went here for my fiancé’s birthday and everything was superb from beginning to end!!! I had a reservation for 6:00 pm I was met at the entrance with welcome and smiles , after I gave my name I was led right away to a table with a stunning view of a huge fire place surrounded by dozens of wine bottles and burning candles! I had requested in the reservation for a beautiful view. The waitress was just on time and very attentive as well as informative on the menu. We ordered 2 appetizers one was a grilled octopus on a bed of white beans some type of green and red peppers bursting with flavors! The other appetizer was 3 meatballs in a very flavorful tomato sauce with cheese and bread, we were also served a basket of hot bread with olive oil on the side. Our entrees were amazing in portion and flavor to say the least! We were also served a very flavorful cheese cake topped with whipped cream and caramel with pieces of pineapple inside the dessert complimentary from the chef to my fiancé for her birthday!!! Such class.. this restaurant staff and chef included has surpassed our expectations wow! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a top tier experience and feel like every dollar was well worth it!..

Lehigh Valley Grand Prix offers high-speed, indoor go-karting suitable for all ages on a 1/4-mile track. In addition, there is a casual bar and grill within the establishment. This go-kart track stands out among the numerous new restaurants constantly opening in the Lehigh Valley. It provides an enjoyable experience for visitors who are looking for something familiar and exciting.
Great time, took my son for his 16th birthday that was on Super bowl Sunday. So they weren't as busy but still enough people for a good race. Staff was professional, an equipment was in great condition. Will be back soon, need to shave some seconds off my lap times!
Phil B — Google review
Good racing experience, however the employees suck. They force you to watch a 5 minute video that last 5x longer than it needs to explaining the colors of the flags. This could easily be printed out on a poster or explained for 30 seconds before racing. Besides the video you’ll also have to deal with a skinny teen with black hair who has an attitude problem. He thinks he owns the company and can yell at people to get them to do what he wants. Lastly the pricing is ridiculously high and they make you pay an $8 fee for a “racing license” which is complete BS. You’ll be spending around $25 for ~5 minutes of racing and around $60 for ~15 minutes. You could pay the same price to drive an actual Lamborghini on Groupon.

Went for a Team Building Event. Lots of fun children 8 and up and can ride. There is a bar inside for drinks and it's attached to axe throwing as well. A unique experience for parties. We spent about two hours doing 3 rounds. After each race a print out is given out per person so you can see your stats and how you have improved.

Racing at this track is great! The staff is fantastic and diverse in personalities. The new karts are great to control and pricing is pretty decent compared to other tracks of this type (specifically indoor kart racing). Racing gas karts indoors is a unique experience seeing as a majority of indoor tracks use electric karts. The track does get warm during summer months and cold during winter, dress comfortably. Also, always check the website to book races BEFORE arriving at the track. It can save you some headaches!! (p.s. Remember to move over if you see the blue flag)

I've been there 4 times each time as a walk in but 3 times now I've been denied access to race with the response being they have no openings. The last time i was there just recently they said i should have called or purchased online. I didn't see how it was needed seeing how it was a school night and they responded its holloween leaving looking around and only seeing about 13 people in the building and not one dressed up in a halloween costume. They also stated that they had to stop racing because the roof had leaked onto the track which has been a issue as long as i can remember and that's not posted on the website when buying tickets. It should just say on the website and the front door walk ins, aren't welcome.
Joel P — Google review
Some great go-karting and service! Everyone was so helpful from the checking process to the briefing room to getting on to the karts, No wait but you should definitely reserve / buy packages online before going since it gets busy! Had some food and the chicken fingers and French fries were good and fresh cut fries, but the Pizza! The Pizza was unbelievably good! So good I had to get another one while we were in the back throwing axes! Simon was a great host! Thank you for everything.

I visited this place twice, and the taste was exactly as I remembered — juicy, soft, and tender. The bread is very soft, and the juicy meat and pickles go perfectly together. The two grandpas are always friendly, sweet, and humorous. After your meal, I recommend visiting the Allentown Art Museum nearby. It’s a small but fascinating museum with plenty to see, and admission is free.

Super tasty steak sandwhich. Crispy fresh fries. I would come here again! Next time I'd get the sauce on the side, since otherwise it does not travel well! I'd like to try some other menu items as well!
Krizia — Google review
I have been driving past this place for a while and kept saying I gave to try it. It was worth the wait. It's a mom & pop place with a simple menu of Pennsylvania favorites. The steak sandwich was loaded with meat, topped with pickles, sauce and peppers, and well seasoned. Onion rings were crunchy and fries were crispy. Table and counter seating available. Friendly staff and classic decor, definitely a place to visit again. Business is cash only. The ATM on site charges a hefty fee for withdrawal.

Best steak sandwich I've eaten in a really long time, maybe ever! The meat was tender and juicy and the roll was soft and yummy. Zandy's is a wonderful throwback from my high school days and well worth the visit! Enjoy!

Historic, and authentic Cheese Steaks! The Cheese Steaks were loaded and bursting with flavor! Not greasy like the ones I have had in Philly. Loved every bite! Great service too!
Toby R — Google review
A little bit pricey for what you get in my opinion. Chocolate shake was good, tasted like chocolate frosty from Wendy's 🤣. Pork sandwich was good but really spicy, I couldn't eat it. I asked before ordering if it was, because I don't eat anything spicy. They said it wasn't. That made me feel sad. The cheese steak was really good, but be aware that also it has condiments. Fries were awesome and crispy. French fries and onion rings were fried at the moment.

Exceptional flavor. Great service. 👍🏻 However, the cheesesteak itself was undersized, lacked sufficient cheese, and the bread was particularly unremarkable. 👎🏼 * Still, it seems to be the ONLY Lehigh cheesesteak with a real Umami punch! Truly quite yummy 😀

American restaurant
Bar
Bolete is a charming rustic-chic destination housed in a 200-year-old stone Stagecoach Inn. The restaurant offers a seasonal farm-to-table menu featuring American cuisine and boasts a full bar. Known for its homey atmosphere, Bolete prides itself on using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients to create exceptional dishes that change daily based on what's in season.
Dazzling. The food was amazing with layers of flavor and texture. My palate was surprised by the variety in each dish. Very creative use of in-season vegetables. Even familiar dishes tasted new and exciting. The atmosphere is relaxed/casual. I already recommended it to many other people. I have a new favorite place to eat.
Barbara K — Google review
The food is ALWAYS phenomenal. I had the local tomato salad as an app and cod with potato crust as an entrée. 90% of the time when I visit, I order fish but sometimes I opt for the duck (depending what the sides are). The quality of the food, the portions, the presentation and the taste is always wonderful. Service is slow but everything is made to order so I don't mind. The tables are also very close together. Don't forget to order butterscotch pudding for dessert! My favorite restaurant! Also, I've been to several of the chef's tastings and they are always amazing-they offer that option a few times a week.
Amanda — Google review
I very rarely give 5 stars, but this restaurant is as close to perfect as you can get The place is charming and delightful from the moment you walk in (look for the pineapple on the door). Our server, Linda, was knowledgeable, funny, and attentive without being pushy. The drink menu is eclectic, but I recommend trying something you haven’t. It’s that kind of place. Our starter, the beef tartare, was amazing, with just the right amount of everything (the table next to us got the scallop crudo which we’ll def get next time). Entrees of rib eye and halibut were both delicious. My dining mate is gluten free and they did a great job of subbing out when necessary. The only negative was the lack of gluten free desserts for her (I don’t like sweets), but I think dessert would have been too much. Can’t wait to go back.
Tracey R — Google review
Great food, but better enjoyed at the restaurant. We had the chicken breast and the Moroccan curry leg of lamb. The preparation of the food was spectacular, cooked just right. The flavor was a spot on. The only downside was in the small plastic containers, typical of Chinese takeout, everything ran together. Still tasted good, but I would prefer the different components in discrete locations. I have had takeout from upscale restaurants in larger plastic containers that would have been appropriate. There is parking on site. The dining area is are cozy and I would recommend eating there.
L. L — Google review
The flavors within the dishes are absolutely amazing. Food/drinks are presented very well and are fit for a special occasion. Our server was lovely and very knowledgeable of the menu items which was super appreciated. Unfortunately, there were a few hiccups that were hard to let go throughout the night. 1. We had a vegetarian with us - previous reviews did give us a heads up that although no vegetarian options were on the menu, the chef was open to making an alternative dish for guests with limitations - wonderful. **Unfortunately, our vegetarian guest did end up consuming a bacon lardon in her vegetarian dish.** This was disheartening, as she had given full range to the chef to prepare anything without meat. We loved the idea of the open creativity, but would’ve rather just appreciated a vegetarian option on the menu if we knew it came with a risk. 2. The atmosphere is subpar for the prices of fine dining ($$$.$$).There were 3 of us on a Saturday night for what was a 3-hour dinner service. Between the stiff wooden chairs, the flickering lights from people walking upstairs, and the bathroom being a coat closet right in the entryway… We drove 1.5 hours to come here based on reviews. Yes, there is no doubt the food is DELICIOUS - but the environment is no where near on the same level of this menu.
Lily M — Google review
We are beyond happy that we decided to go to Bolete for our birthday celebration. It was our first time there, everyone was so friendly, the service was excellent. The food was so flavorful, and everything was cooked to perfection. The butterscotch pudding parfait was a treat! We'll definitely be going back. We especially loved all the haunted tales told by Lisa.
Laura C — Google review
Great brunch! Smoked salmon was especially delicious in the Benedict. Loved the butterscotch dessert. The lobster roll was cold and wasn’t great. Large portions overall.
John-Luke L — Google review
The food is good. Unique takes on American food. The chocolate chai crème brûlée was an amazing dessert. Their apple cinnamon lemonade was delicious. Butternut squash soup - cannot go wrong. The braised short ribs are delicious and I loved the sauerkraut on the bottom. The biscuits that got soggy turned into dumplings for me which was delicious. It’s a dark and intimate inside. The atmosphere is not my favorite. A bit dingy. Kind of feels like an American revolution place though which I guess is unique. Gravel parking lot.

Day 4

Proximity is everything
For day 4, we bundled attractions like South Mall and Li'l-Le-Hi Trout Nursery and other places within a close range, so that the time it takes to travel between all of them is less than one hour. Combined with the average time people spend there, your day should take about 7 hours.

This place is pretty good. I enjoy the 80s feel to the place. Please don't update it. It's a neat place with not a lot like it anymore. The arcade is really great and I could spend hours in there.
Sarah M — Google review
Honestly the only good thing here is the Attic Mice I like going in there to take off the mannequin's hair!! Oh so there's pretty cool things in there. Only thing worth seeing for sure. Hopefully they open up new shops soon!!
Welcome : — Google review
I am frequently at a shop in the south mall and have had continuous issues with the random parking lot and building construction for the new giant. Almost every day there is a new path in the parking lot, or more of the black top is torn up. Driving over everything is a nightmare and i’m afraid it’s ruining my tires and alignment. They don’t give any notice about the changes to the front (and back) lots, even causing complete blockades for delivery vehicles. The main intersection gets so backed up it takes forever to leave or even drive from one part of the mall to the other.
J — Google review
I didn't go to shop. It wasn't busy which is nice but it makes me wonder how the retailers are in business. I did use the bathroom while I waited for my bus because they do pass. I noticed seating areas which is great because I rest often after walking.
VIncent D — Google review
This mall is clean and features mostly mom-and-pop shops and local businesses. There are also great outdoor stores. However, the anchor stores, such as Giant and Burlington, don’t have entrances into the interior of the mall. It would be great to have a few high-end retailers there. There’s also a lot of seating within the mall, making it a great place to study or relax. The mall can feel empty inside at times, while the outside is busy but not great for pedestrians.
Alex W — Google review
Not many stores are there anymore. It's sad! I went there because I didn't want to battle the mall and I wanted to go to Bath and Body Works. If you are looking for flee market types of stores this is the place for you. There are at least 2 big stores.
Katt — Google review
The crowd was well-behaved, and the place never felt overcrowded. It had the right balance between activity and comfort, which made the visit enjoyable.

Parks
Li'l-Le-Hi Trout Nursery, located south of Allentown, is a unique public park as it houses a fish nursery. It is part of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission's trout stocking program, where thousands of trout are raised to be released into surrounding streams. Visitors can take a tour around the park, learn about the hatching and raising processes of trout, and even feed the fish in the tanks.
I had so much fun! Can’t wait for the warmer weather! Feeding them was delightful and the feed prices are cheap. The fish are also separated by sizes to avoid over feeding! :)
Kelly C — Google review
Really enjoyed going here with my son and had a great time seeing all the trout in the different spots. Beautiful place and you could even get food to feed them.
George S — Google review
This is a great place to see a bunch of trout. Nice place to take the kids so they can throw the food to the fish. Food is all the way at the end at the White House on the bending machine. Cost .50 to 1 dollar. Only takes quarters and 1 dólar bills
Robinson S — Google review
Free! Fun! Fish! Fresh air! Free family fun. Feed fish. Fish food vending machine is near the newer white building off to the far back right of the park. Flying frustrated falcons. 🦅 No swimming.
B C — Google review
So much fun! For just a couple bucks. You buy a bag of fish food and you can walk around and feed the fish. You know you're doing good by supporting the program there, and the kids absolutely love to see the fish wiggle and swim and jump to get the food nuggets. Highly recommended for all ages!
Linda Y — Google review
Feeding the fish was a nice way to spend a weekend morning, 1st time seeing a golden trout too :)

I went here with my mom to hike. Before going on the trail, we stopped and looked at all the fish. They have fish food available to buy (its only 1.00$), which is great if you have kids. The trail itself was beautiful. I highly recommend a trip here if you are looking for a fun day outside.

Cedar Beach Park is a sprawling green space filled with trees, containing a small lake and an outdoor pool. It features basketball and volleyball courts for sports enthusiasts. The park boasts an extensive children's playground that includes many obstacle courses, swings, rock climbing areas, and climbing opportunities suitable for kids of all ages. However, the lack of shade and rubber flooring may make it too hot during midday in summer.
Beautiful, clean and spacious playground area with a parking lot. Just happened to find this while driving nearby and the kids were happy to kill some time here.

Great park for any ages from littles to bigs! So much room for lots of kids here. They have swings, tons of slides, balance beams, rock climbing, etc! Will definitely be back.

This park is great. The “busy” hours get pretty packed, especially when the pool is open, but overall a great place. There is always staff cleaning the park and they deserve so much thanks!! The littering isn’t that bad usually, but can get bad on/after holidays.

It's a great little park to visit. The kids will be happy going here for this park has a full play playground walking paths, ducks 🦆🦆🦆😁 a pond they even have picnic areas with barbecue grills. Not to mention in the summer this park has a public pool. They have bathrooms and free parking . Even an ice cream truck comes into the park and parks along the road allowing parents and kids to get ice cream or a milk shake. They also have volleyball pit and basketball courts. A++ park.

What a gem this beautiful little park in Allentown!
Olga G — Google review
Possibly the largest children’s playground had ever visited. many obstacle courses, swings, rock climbing areas, and climbing opportunities at every corner. It is great for kids of all ages. The weather was nice at 8 AM however I’m sure the lack of shade and the rubber flooring would make things very hot during the middle of the day during the summer. The pictures are nothing compared to how massive this playground is. There are restrooms and a little free library right near the entrance.

Lehigh Parkway is a picturesque urban park that spans over 500 acres and offers a variety of amenities. It features six miles of trails for activities such as running, biking, and walking, as well as a disc golf course. The park is situated along the Little Lehigh Creek and provides opportunities for hiking, fishing, and enjoying the vibrant foliage in the fall. Visitors can also engage in activities like dog walking, photography, fly-fishing, and horseback riding.
Spectacular park. Lots of trails for walking and biking. Great for pictures and wildlife viewing
Christa D — Google review
Lehigh Parkway is a nice area that's basically a park like setting. The area has a nice trail circling it. There are areas with steeper hills and the trail is predominatly packed gravel. There are several interesting sites along the way including a Native American site and a trout hatchery. There are several parking areas with trailheads. The full trail is maybe a little over 6 miles around

Really enjoy driving around seeing all the different covered Bridges. They are unique in their own way. There are a lot of Covered Bridges all through out this area.
George S — Google review
This is the perfect place for taking in the serene beauty of nature & wildlife! It's also an exceptional place for jogging, walking, bike riding, dog walking, disc golfing, taking pictures, & just about anything else you can imagine! The trails are pretty decent and there are bathrooms & water fountains for maintaining oneself. If you explore the park in it's entirety you will find other things to do including: fly-fishing, feeding fish, perhaps a festival going-on, horse back riding, etc., etc. There is also something in the winter they do annually called "Lights in The Parkway" where you can even rent a limousine to see in person!
Donald H — Google review
I stopped after work and wasn't able to spend too much time exploring, but it's a beautiful park and I'm looking forward to going back when I can spend more time.
Sarah H — Google review
Once was of the finest parks or Greenways I had been to. Very lovely! However, things are changing. The creek is dying from excessive salt that is put on the roads and getting into the aquifer. The stream buffers are nearly gone and they keep cutting down the trees and vegetation the insects use to live and mate, as well as provide shade for the creek. We just need manage for the next 100 years and not depend on the sparse 1 tree deep buffer along the creek, and continue to cut down trees etc. We. They also remove a lot of dead trees from the creek so they don't ruin bridges and water intake, but the fish could benefit from some natural structure. Still a lovely park. Watch for weird stuff going on in the woods above the fish hatchery.

Lehigh Parkway is a beautiful, scenic park with walking trails, open fields, and peaceful river views. It’s perfect for jogging, biking, or just relaxing outdoors one of the best green spaces in the area!

Bakery
The Fresh Market is an upscale grocery chain that exudes a charming old-world atmosphere. This establishment takes pride in offering local produce, delectable prepared dishes, an extensive wine selection, and more. During a visit on Easter Sunday 2022, it was discovered that they have delightful premade sandwiches available for those seeking a quick lunch option. The store's ambiance entices shoppers to spend more time browsing the aisles filled with high-quality products.
The bistro meals are great for a grab and go. They're discounted on Thursdays! I also go for the weekly meal deals because the food is so fresh and it makes me look like a pro chef in 20 minutes. (Usually that's how long it takes me to cook them. Love it!)

Always well stocked, great meat department and bulk coffee selection (wish they would bring back the coffee measuring spoon they used to give you with bulk coffee purchases!) Bakery department has a wonderful selection of treats including crème brûlée which they will caramelize the sugar top on in front of you! Vegetables are always premium selection and well presented with many specialty varieties not available in a standard grocery store. Bulk dried fruits and nuts along with candy is also available. Great addition to the neighborhood! Stopped by today and they had Dubai Chocolate on sale. Looked like a nice big bar of chocolate for $16.99!

Wish there more them, but love this store. Contemporary decor, friendly staff and great selection of grocery items, with an emphasis on quality, premium goods. Deli counter is top shelf with cheeses, meats and takeaway items. Fresh produce selection, in addition to an outstanding seafood counter. We come to the Fresh Market for crab cakes often, delicious. Expansive coffee selection, you can grind whole beans in store. Also, there is a great selection of featured sale items, to satisfy your palate throughout the store. Not too big, but too small, it's the "goldilocks" of supermarket shopping.

Boy I wish I started going here sooner!! The variety in the fresh coffee beans is awesome!! The bakery has all kinds of deliciousness! (Almond Croissants FTW!) The deli has tons of unique meats prepped so all you need to do is take em home and grill / bake em!! (I had never heard of Chicken London before, but holy crap those are good!!) Everything is way fresher than big box stores like Giant, and there's tons of foods you just won't find anywhere else!
Riff R — Google review
Fresh Market has some really good stuff at great prices compared to Wegmans. It doesn’t have the variety of Wegmans because their footprint is a bit smaller. OK, a lot smaller. Probably the size of a Trader Joe’s. The reason why I gave them three stars is that it appears that they cater to the elites that live in the area. As a man of color I noticed that I’m treated a bit ‘differently’ even though I’m friendly and bid the cashier a good salutation when I’m leaving; often times my salutations are not returned and that’s why I give it three stars because a business is made up of people (no matter their race, creed or color) and people need to feel welcomed. I’ll just leave it at that. UPDATE: 21JUN25 Fresh Market is not so fresh. I like getting their $9.99 dinners like the meatloaf with mashed potato and peas. I purchased two of them and put them in the freezer right away. After defrosting one of them tonight I noticed mold on the meatloaf. See picture when you get a chance. Wegmans for me here on out.

Yesterday at 4:30 PM I purchased a rotisserie chicken. When I was ready to serve it for dinner and cut into it found that it was not cooked through. Red juices ran when cut off the leg bone. I was really upset at this as I was not prepared to have yo cook the chicken before eating. This is the first time this has happened to me. I have purchased rotisserie chickens in the past and they have been fine but after this experience I am reluctant to purchase one again.

Wendy's, a quick-service hamburger franchise, offers a variety of accompaniments like chili and oven-baked potatoes. This fast-food eatery specializes in serving delicious burgers with an array of side options.
When this location reopened after the accidents, they advertised being under new management—which I thought was great. My first visit after reopening was smooth, quick, and pleasant. Fast forward to today (my second visit), and I ended up waiting at the pickup window for 17 minutes. While waiting, I witnessed a man making a Frosty, then eating it. He walked away, came back seconds later, and started making a new one—while still eating the first one he made. Two minutes later, the pickup window finally opened for the first time, only for me to be handed the wrong order. I told the man, “No, this isn’t mine. It’s a mobile order for [my name].” He asked what I ordered and then told me he didn’t have it. I was in disbelief. I pointed out to a woman (possibly a manager) that the man was eating while making food. Her response? “I’ll tell him,” followed by an eye roll. At that point, I canceled my order in the app to get a refund. I hope this review reaches the “new management,” because this is unacceptable. I won’t be back—regardless. The Emmaus Ave location is far better, and they always get my order right.

I came to get my family food (our one night eating out per week) and I’m first given lousy service, some kid who seems like he’s in high school who gave me nothing but a slight attitude and dirty looks then when I got home to eat my food it was nearly vile. The bacon.. not just burned but completely black and was just crumbles on my sandwiches (all 3 of them), the fries.. ice cold and I live less than a mile away from the store. Overall would not recommend I feel like I should’ve gone back but it was my kids bed time so I didn’t have the time..

Ordered online and pickup. Missing items from my order and ordered a lemonade. It was warm and disgustingly thick. I tried calling the rest and left it ring and ring. No answer. I wasn't driving back to complain. Won't go back.

No taco salads available so I ordered the apple pecan salad. The pecans they gave me expired in July of 2025, there was no expiration date on the vinaigrette so I didn’t trust that either. I tried to call the manager to advise them they are giving out expired food but no one ever answered the phone and there was no option to leave a message. A $9 salad should be better than this!

Stopped for Spicy Chicken Sand and fries tonight. Fries were so cold. Must have been sitting around for a while. Chicken sand was a mess. Fell apart while trying to eat. No one in line but I had to wait in the parking lot for my food. Will not be going back anytime soon.

This place needs an adult manager that’s been in the food business the floors are sticky some spots greasy, not very clean. The young people I walked up to the counter. They’re on their phones. You have to yell to them to get them off their phone. The food was not good. The fries seemed like they were sitting for hours. I hope this reaches upper management and you could help this place because it’s a nice spot at the south mall

Went hwre on 10/18/2025 and I can't eat their food due to health issues. I wanted the kids toy for Halloween and asked if I could purchased that only. I was told I had to buy it even after telling them I get sick if I eat there food but they didn't care. Nice to know that this location doesn't accommodate people with valid reasons. I'm still paying for it so what's the problem? I laughed as I took my business elsewhere that on the wendys it says "under new management". Apparently not good enough. WHAT A JOKE.

Im sick of mobile ordering and being told they don't have my items at the window. They shut down the frosty machine off over an hour before closing. Fries are constantly dry, old and disgusting. They say under new management but the issues are only worse now!

Nestled in the Cedar Crest Professional Park on North Nineteenth Street in Allentown, PA, Penn Pizza Restaurant is a delightful spot that goes beyond your average pizzeria. This charming eatery offers an extensive menu featuring not only delicious pizzas and strombolis but also mouthwatering pastas and fresh salads. Diners can enjoy their meals either on-site or opt for delivery, with the added perk of BYOB to enhance the experience.
Pizza slices we had were good, hot && had a nice crisp/crunch to it. Employees were nice && personable. I personally had 2 of the buffalo chicken slices and they're good, just wish they'd have a little more cheese on them but not a big deal. && The slices are a really good size 6 slices and 3 drinks cost about $30-$40

Their chicken cheese steak salad is delicious. Their food is a little pricey though i would have to say. Their pizza is really good as well, when it's fresh and hot. The workers are nice as well. The place can be busy at times but they get your orders in right away.

Food excellent and large portion. Very worth the price. Which is within our average range in Lehigh Valley. Ready for pick up on time. People polite. All good

I ordered linguini with clam sauce for takeout. It came with a salad and bread. The serving was HUGE - enough that I will be eating it for a few days! The food was delicious. When I picked up my order, everyone at the location was very sweet and attentive.

Online takeout order. Returning customer. Food was good, as usual, and was ready at the promised time. There was a small glitch. The order included 3 individual slices of pepperoni pizza but, arriving at home, we discovered two cheese slices and one pepperoni.

1 slice from this place is a meal. So much cheese! The crust is perfectly crispy. And I'm an ex NYer, so I know good pizza!

The honey balsamic dressing for the salad is delicious! We had the chicken Marsala and the linguine della Casa. Glad to try the linguine della casa- it was chicken with a spicy red sauce. Other times we’ve been here, the pepperoni and ham pizza has hit the spot!

Steak house
Youell's Oyster House is a historic seafood restaurant located in Allentown's Hamilton Park neighborhood. Dating back to the 1800s, it has undergone various name and location changes before being re-established as the legendary seafood restaurant it once was. The remodeled space includes a rooftop garden, offering an upscale dining experience. The menu features a variety of seafood dishes, including bang bang shrimp, bacon-wrapped scallops, and jumbo lump crab cocktail.
This is fine dining in an open, casual space with a large bar, and second floor seating. Thanks to the kindness, professionalism, and timeliness of Molly, our server, we had one amazing evening of food and drink. My girlfriend loved her mango mojito and my Ketel One vodka martini with blue cheese olives truly satisfied. We began with hearty house salads (spring mix) complet with in-house prepared croutons. I indulged in a healthy plate of oysters Rockefeller to start while my girlfriend had one amazing French onion soup. I got a seafood combo that included perfectly cooked sole along with a delicious lobster tail and shrimp, and the scallops were tender and tasty. I even loved the mixed vegetables. We also had some outrageous asparagus on the side. We cannot wait to relive the experience.

We went in to celebrate a birthday. I do love that they’re open on Mondays( Beyond Tf for that) Such a plus. The service was great, loved the staff. It’s one of my family favorite places to go. It was my first time and despite wanting to absolutely love it, The dish I ordered was sub par at best tbh. Salmon and friends just aren’t a great combo in my opinion. I wasn’t completely impressed, I personally had better but the service and atmosphere definitely made up for it. I did however enjoy the other dishes my family ordered. I did enjoy the blueberry lemonade, very yummy drink.

Youell's Oyster House is a seafood restaurant located on Walnut St. in Allentown. It's open Monday through Friday, 11 AM - 8:30 PM, Saturday, 11 AM - 9 PM, and Sunday, 11 AM - 8 PM. My friends and I had a reservation last Thursday at 6:15. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess upon arrival and promptly seated at our table. For appetizers, we shared the coconut shrimp, fried calamari, bacon wrapped scallops, and a crab cake. While everything was enjoyable, the standout was definitely the scallops. The bacon was perfectly crisp, the scallops tender and well-cooked, and the accompanying raspberry chipotle compote added a sweet and smoky touch. For my main course, I had the half pound lobster roll, tossed in rich brown butter and served on a perfectly toasted brioche bun. It was absolutely outstanding! I'd come back to Yoell's just for this. My buddy went with the surf & turf, which includes an 8 oz filet mignon, a 4 oz lobster tail, and jumbo lump crabmeat. Definitely a great choice, he was more than satisfied! The service wasn't terrible, but it was surely disappointing. Our server lacked friendliness and any sense of personality.

We went for happy hour to celebrate our anniversary. I was craving oysters and my hubby suggested this place. Yummmm! Oysters were amazing! The service was fantastic and we just kept ordering from the very varied happy hour bar menu. So good!!!

We tried this out last weekend. The seafood was top notch. The crab cakes were excellent. No filler and all lump crab meat. They were succulent with just the right amount of moisture in a crab cake for my taste. I have had many different crab cakes and these are the best I have tasted. Delicious. The New England clam chowder was very good with large pieces of clam meat. The fish and shrimp was also good. Overall we had a great dining experience. The desserts were ok, but nothing stand out. The next time we go we will have the crab cakes and clam chowder and skip dessert. 2025: Still the best lump meat Crab 🦀 Cakes in the area.

Restaurant
Nestled in a vibrant culinary scene, Notch Modern Kitchen & Bar offers an exciting fusion of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. From succulent pork dumplings and bao buns to a unique twist on classic dishes like Drunken Bolognese and fish and chips paired with kimchi coleslaw, there's something for everyone. The restaurant also boasts a delightful outdoor seating area, featuring the Cozy Corner prix fixe menu designed specifically for patio dining.
Upscale modern atmosphere and great service. Lunch hours were very quiet. Easy parking. Stopped in for lunch; really enjoyed the smash burger and order of hand cut style fries. Strawberry salad with added chicken was delicious. Prices seemed reasonable for quality of food.

Stopped in for dinner with a reservation, though in hindsight, it wasn't necessary since the place wasn’t very crowded, and we ended up seated near the bar. Given it was a reservation, I had expected a different seating arrangement—perhaps something quieter—but instead, we were placed near the noise and bustle of the bar area. Our server, who was also tending to the bar, was friendly enough, but the service left much to be desired, with extended waits throughout the evening. As for the appetizers, they were, frankly, a bit odd. The menu listed lobster bao buns, but what arrived was a cold lobster on a rice cracker with seaweed paper. It felt disjointed—perhaps if the bun and lobster had been served at the same temperature, it might have worked better. For the main course, I opted for the Notch Fried Rice bowl. The dish came with a mix of ingredients—60-minute egg, Chinese sausage, pork belly, and more—but overall, it was underwhelming. The sausage was decent, but the rest of the dish felt dry and overcooked, with the togarashi spice unevenly distributed. It was either bland or overwhelming, with no in-between. I've visited Notch a few times, and unfortunately, it seems like the quality and care that once defined this place have diminished. What used to be an enjoyable dining experience now feels lackluster. With a dinner for two costing around $150, I’m left wondering if there’s somewhere else where that money would be better spent.

Will not be dining here again. Our waitress was stellar! The decor was on theme and upscale. The food was just ok. Lemongrass soup had one sprig of lemongrass and very little lemongrass flavor. The calamari coating was flavorless and puffy. The calamari was too chewy. For the price charged the food quality was lacking.
Cave A — Google review
Let’s start with the positives. It was clean and quiet at 6pm on a school night. There was plentiful, free parking. You get 5 small dumplings for $14. I live in Philadelphia, this is inexplicably more expensive than Philly. We did the Thursday night dinner special - 2 for $45. Great value. But….The chicken was dry. The halibut had no flavor. Wine list is small but the quality was good.

Incredible experience at Notch! We ate outside on the patio on a gorgeous summer night. The bartender was so so friendly and kind, and our hostess Courtney was just the coolest (give that girl a raise!). The food was excellent as always. Highly recommend the Notch Rice Bowl - the sausage and tomatoes in here really made it special. Also loved the appetizers of the Crab Notch’os and the dumplings. The cocktails are ever changing but always interesting. Again, our bartender nailed it (didn’t catch her name but she deserves a raise too!). Overall a beautiful and delicious night. We’ll be back soon!

My wife and I enjoyed a recent dinner at Notch. We had been there before with family but never on our own. Our meals were delicious (Brisket Chow Mein & Fried Rice). They had some good Italian wines to choose from and the pumpkin cheesecake was a great dessert. Our service was exceptional. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She helped make it a very pleasant experience.

let me start by saying the place is well done inside, very clean, super nice ambient lights, ok so once we got there we were seated right away, we sat there for a bit another couple came in about 15 min after us, they were sitting right next to us, they go there drinks before our waiter/ staff, even looked at us, ok whatever thats fine, he finally came over and took an order for drinks and a app, the app came out about 5 min, now remind you we have already been sitting for 30 min, waiter eventually came back and took our order, fried rice bowl and ramen, he asked what level of heat i wanted on my food, i asked for HOT, food came out, the fried rice bowl wasnt fried rice it was boiled rice, my wife took 2 bites and very quickly said this is not good, i took a bite of mine, extra sweet " did i have pineapple in it" but not one bit of spice, we sat there and the waiter did come over " i think he was the bartender" this food was so bland that we asked for some type of hot sauce to give it some heat or flavor, nope my wife on her birthday has soft mushy rice, we stopped eating and sat there for over 30 min before anyone came back to our table we were so disgusted we just wanted our check to leave, we never even were asked for a refill on our soda " pathetic" so when someone else comes over to check on us, we told her the food was just disgusting, we werent asking for any money off or anything, she stands there and looks at us like we were from another planet and goes do you want me to get the manager, ummm you have unhappy actually ticked of customers she should have went and got the manager, she could clearly see my wifes plate wasnt even touched, needless to say i wouldnt recommend the notch, we did not tip i actually wrote NONE!! in the tip section of the check as shown below, some people might get mad, but we have a daughter that works as a waitress and we never tip less then 20% thats how bad it was and mad, meanwhile we are leaving the hostess is upfront doing something on a personal laptop, pathetic

This place was just okay. Went there in the late afternoon wanting to do a dim sum style meal so I got a martini, three apps and a salad. The apps were actually pretty good but the martini tasted like perfume. In the salad, a good percentage of the greens looked like they were past the prime and the strawberries were so soggy that I’m pretty sure they were canned rather than fresh? Overall I won’t be returning because the food was not impressive which is a shame because the menu, in theory, is great. The service however was good and the restaurant was clean.

Museums
Located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the Da Vinci Science Center is a modern two-story space offering innovative exhibits and hands-on science experiments for visitors of all ages. This educational attraction ignites curiosity and fosters innovation through live demonstrations and a variety of interactive programs. The center's engaging exhibits focus on different aspects of science, allowing visitors to explore physics, biology, chemistry, and more in tangible ways.
What a cool place! Lots to do for kids and adults. A good gift shop as well, lots of cute plushies and S.T.E.M toys/activities. The cafe looked like grab and go stuff, but it seemed busy and popular. Private bathrooms! I would recommend for anyone looking for a fun 1-2 hour activity, adult or kids. Some interesting stuff!

I have mixed feelings about the new center. My son’s autistic and with his Access card we were able to get a year membership for an amazing price! He and my older son had a great time, and we will definitely be back. Parking in the spiral lot was easy and affordable. Is there enough there to entertain them time after time? Maybe…especially if we take advantage of their special events. Time will tell. We do miss the old location, as it was closer and had some of our fave hands on experiences, such as the ball mover, the car, needle press, and being able to go in the Mac truck. I was also thrown off by the public bathrooms…to the left there’s a family bathroom for complete privacy and to the right a family bathroom, which just means a large bathroom for EVERYONE, so when I walked in and saw a man washing his hands I had to walk out to make sure it was in the right place. Bathroom doors are ceiling to floor, which is great, but people forget that toddlers love to open doors as moms try to go to the bathroom. That could be embarrassing! All and all though we had fun and would return.

My kids and I had a great experience at this Center. The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was so impressive, its my daughter's favorite and she wanted to spend all her time in that exhibit. I enjoyed the interactive and learning stations! Including the crafty one. The Sea otters were adorable 😍. Learning about the body and including a digestive system crawl playground was neat. I definitely recommend for toddlers they would have a great time.

This place is such a fun and interesting spot to visit! There are tons of hands on learning activities for kids, and even some areas that adults will enjoy too. I actually found myself spending time in a section about the brain and ended up learning something new! My daughter had an amazing time she especially loved the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse area (available until mid-January 2026). It’s a pretty big space with plenty of activities for kids to enjoy. From the outside, the building looks small, but once you step inside and start exploring, you’ll realize it’s much bigger than it seems!

Parking is easy and straight forward in spiral garage. We got our tickets online for general admission and the Science of ice cream class. Def recommend getting tickets online for experiences as they sold out quickly. The class session was absolutely extraordinary and everyone hosting did such a great job! This was the highlight of our visit. We went with our friends on a double date. Its not just for kids. However, the museum itself was a bit lacking. It was smaller than we thought with only 2 floors, and experiences are "add-ons". It was a bit salesey with all of the names of companies/corporations everywhere. Activities were limited but fun and informative. Didn't realize there were turtles, fish, and otters as well which was nice. It almost felt like they had a little bit of everything but not much of one thing trying to squeeze as much as possible into the limited space. All in all this place is amazing for classroom experiences, outreach programs, and school visits/camps, but the museum itself didn't have as much to do as other science centers that we've been to like Liberty Science Center in NJ.

What an amazing experience with my science kid. The astronaut exhibit made his whole trip. The staff was wonderful in guiding us through the activities. Very clean and well laid out. We really enjoyed our day. My son danced with the skeleton and laughed for about 20 minutes straight. He loved it so much.

The special exhibit was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse both my daughters aged 2 and 1 had an absolute blast. Decorating Pluto's birthday cake, grilling the hot dogs, and actually getting to sit inside the clubhouse. Was such a blast. The enjoyed seeing the river otters up in the watershed.

It wasn't super busy. Went for the Micky mouse exhibit! My 2 yr old could do about half of the things available to do. The exhibit with the turtles and otters was pretty neat too! Definitely worth the $24 going one time. Not sure I'd go again though.

I recently hosted my daughter’s graduation celebration at this venue, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Dominic was our main point of contact and he was extremely attentive and kind, making everyone feel welcome. The food was also delicious and presented beautifully. From start to finish the team catered to our every need, allowing me to truly enjoy my daughter’s celebration without any stress. I highly recommend this venue for any special occasion! Unfortunately I don’t have pictures of the tables but they were set up beautifully and the details matched the party theme perfectly. They also had a sign upon entering the building to tell guests where to go and they even added flowers to match the theme of the party! Again I am so grateful for the amazing management and team, I will definitely be returning in the future to host future events !

We are beyond grateful to Dominic at Fegley’s for making our wedding day absolutely magical! From the moment we started planning, Dominic was professional, organized, and incredibly kind. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free, always going the extra mile to make sure every detail was just right. On the big day, everything flowed seamlessly — from the beautiful setup to the delicious food and drinks. Our guests kept raving about the service and how amazing everything was. Dominic truly brought our vision to life and made sure we could relax and enjoy every moment. If you’re planning a wedding, we highly recommend Dominic and the team at Fegley’s. Working with them was one of the best decisions we made!

I recently had my wedding at Fegley’s (9/21/25) and I highly recommend. We had a smaller wedding with a little more than 50 people and really felt like the place fit our vibe. Especially because we included a beer blending unity ceremony. Dominic was our main point of contact and he was great to work with and answered all my million and one questions. He was especially helpful as we stumbled our way through figuring out our rehearsal. (On the day of too!) All of my guests raved about the food. One even said it was the best wedding food they ever had. I couldn’t have been happier as the team here was so professional and made our day go off without a hitch.

Worked a wedding at this venue recently and had a great experience. Communication with the staff in advance of the wedding and during was top notch. We just hosted a sweet 16 and I had an amazing time! Everything turned out great. The process was very simple and affordable for the package plan we chose. Lots of menu options as well! I was working with Dominic Dominguez the event coordinator to pull off the vibe we were looking for. He was very accommodating, flexible and timely with communication. Every detail we requested was met. He also popped in throughout the night to make sure things were going smoothly. We had made an error with the invitations and ended up having to start an hour earlier than expected but it didn’t interfere with the staff and we even had the option to decorate the night before. Overall, everyone was happy and the fried Mac n cheese bites were a hit!

We had the most amazing and beautiful reception at Allentown Brew Works. I can’t thank the banquet staff and our coordinator Dominic enough. The food was astounding, the space is a great size and easily customizable and the service was 5 stars. It was an amazing value for our money and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. If you are considering booking for your wedding or reception, don’t hesitate!

We are incredibly grateful to have found Fegley’s for our wedding! We celebrated our special day here just a few weeks ago, and it truly was the most beautiful and memorable experience of our lives. A huge part of that is thanks to Dominic — an exceptional wedding coordinator! From the beginning, he was attentive, supportive, and genuinely passionate about helping us bring our vision to life. Dominic was incredibly patient, always responsive to our many questions, and made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. His dedication and enthusiasm were evident every step of the way, and we truly couldn’t have done it without him. The venue itself was stunning and spacious — the perfect setting for our celebration. Our guests had such a great time, and we received so many compliments on everything from the atmosphere to the flow of the event. The food was absolutely outstanding! Everyone raved about the dishes, and we’re still thinking about those pulled pork nachos — a must-try if you’re visiting Fegley’s. I order them every time I go! Dominic, thank you so much for your guidance, your quick responses, and for going above and beyond — from setup to cleanup and everything in between. You are truly amazing, and we would gladly host another event at Fegley’s again, especially with you involved! with love, Jess & Mel <3

The food was amazing. I had the steak. My wife had the chicken. We started with these egg rolls. Very delicious. It wasn't crowded on an 8 o'clock Saturday night. Great for a private date night. Atmosphere was fancy. Highly recommend the restaurant.

Mixed feelings about this establishment….we had a large party (of 10) so they seated us in the back, private room. Very nice and intimate. For a Friday night, and an event at the PPL center, it was quite empty and quiet. Our appetizers (3) did take a while to come out. Our food was enjoyable…the short rib egg-rolls (appetizer) were the highlight for sure. Our waitress was okay…not super attentive but not the worse. Would I come back? Sure, if I was in the area and wanted a nice drink and appetizer. Overall, enjoyable night and beautiful restaurant but not anything that’s “memorable”.

Cute looking place! The food was OK, nothing to write home about. The menu is short though. For apps we got the Mozzarella Planks. They were good! We also got French Onion Soup - it was lukewarm and nothing special. My mom didn’t even eat hers. My Chicken Fricassee was decent. The chicken was crisp but not enough Orzo to fill you up. The Cabernet Braised Short Rib was good!!! The Fish & Chips was edible. Mid-meal, we asked for tartar sauce and we NEVER got it. Mind you, we were never asked even ONE TIME how the meal is/was. My wine glass was dirty and spotted with some gross stuff on the outside. (See video) Here comes dessert….. well, sort of. But we ordered!!! We ordered crème brûlée and a molten lava cake with 1 coffee. 10 minutes later, he comes back and says there is no crème brûlée. A few minutes after that he returns and we ordered the cheesecake instead. We started the timer on our iPhone and it took 18 minutes for one cup of coffee to come out. Kept the timer running, dessert finally comes out 27 minutes 47 seconds later… (as pictured) $12 per dessert. Wasn’t even good. It wasn’t even worth it. My mom & step-dad who dined with us left mid-way through dinner because it took so long… The place was not that busy and there were plenty of waiters. There are serious server issues here. I understand food quality isn’t the server’s fault. However the service is the servers’s fault. And the service was very minimal and not even existent. It was very disheartening and had there been better service, there would be more drinks ordered, more appetizers, etc. I understand the server was smiley and trying to be nice, but it’s unacceptable to act as a server. He had an excuse every time he came over. We exclaimed our unhappiness and the waiter took off drinks & desserts. Overall, I won’t be returning and it was disappointing. I do respect the waiter trying to make it right by discounting the bill though.

Wanted to try this restaurant for a while now and luckily i had the chance to for my friends birthday. The atmosphere is unique and comfortable. The waitress we had was super sweet and helpful with my order. I ordered the cosmopolitan, the chicken milanese with a side salad. The other dish was the Panko Crushed Salmon with wine. The food was good and tasty. The drinks were good as well.

We loved the hotel and figured that, despite it's poor reviews, we'd try the restaurant for breakfast because it was convinent. Couldn't be that bad, right? It was probably one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had. Eggs were rubbery, potatoes unseasoned, coffee was bitter, pancakes were SO sweet it was sickly. And to top it all off, it took almost an hour to get breakfast for two people, with only two other tables in the restaurant. Our waiter was very nice but the manager (?) was an absolute disaster, even spilling maple syrup on my partner without any apology. Do yourself a favour and go litterally anywhere else

I drove 1 hour to get to The Dime in Allentown, PA as my wife and I enjoy experiencing different dining venues and foods. I called to make a reservation but was put on hold as soon as they picked up the phone. I waited for a good 10 minutes before hanging up and just walked in after finding parking. When I arrived there at around 5pm there was a pretty good crowd in the bar area with a live DJ, Lights and all. I was looking forward for their happy hour drinks before sitting and dining. Unfortunately they told me and my wife that there was a private event at the bar area and only the restaurant menu was available. I asked if we can still order drinks from the bar for happy hour (4p-6pm) I was told we were unable to order from the bar (happy hour cocktails). So we settled for an early dinner and restaurant cocktail menu which didn’t give much options. The vibe was industrial decor and pleasant views from the third floor but nothing to really brag about. Our server “Stacy” was welcoming and friendly plus attentive and hospitable. The food was okay , served large portions and sharable. Drinks were good but nothing wow in my opinion. Not somewhere I would return or even recommend unless you are staying at the attached Renaissance Hotel or going to an event at the PPL Arena. I would not go out of my way again for this place especially since I didn’t feel accommodated for drinks at the bar and felt forced to dine upon arrival. It’s all about how the place makes me feel in my opinion and this place wasn’t a dime for me , no pun intended.

It was so nice to have the 5th grade performance on an actual stage. It made the experience just so much better and comfortable. It was great

First time there! Loved every minute. Parking across the street, benches to sit outside before and after the show. Seats were super comfortable. Would go again!

My family and I had wonderful time at Miller Symphony Hall. The performance was outstanding, the staff was incredible, and the space was so beautiful, I can't wait to go back. I would also like to thank the staff, had an issue that they were able to resolve immediately without question and I appreciate that.

My daughter had her dance recital at Miller Symphony on 5/31. We had to go online on April 22nd at 12pm to purchase tickets for the show. The website is absolutely terrible and barely allowed me to even get tickets even though I was logged in AT 12 on the dot. I purchased 9 tickets totaling $189.00. My daughter is 6 years old and practiced all year for this show. I never received the confirmation email from Miller Symphony and when I called them nobody answers the phone. I went to pick up our tickets at will call prior to the show. The lady at the front desk told me that they found my tickets but they were for the 9:30am show not the 6:30pm show that my daughter was performing in. I told her that must be a mistake. She proceeded to ask a supervisor about this issue which seemed to be resolving. Another manager then came over and looked me dead in the eyes and told me "there is nothing that we can do, I don't know what to say." She also proceeded to tell me that their website has been having issues. The manager told me that there was no way for them to help me since they were "at capacity" and that the theatre has a fire code to follow. I walked away crying because I was distraught being told I would not be able to see my 6-year-old daughter perform in her second dance recital. How can they do this? Provide no options or accommodations for a mother just trying to have the service that was paid for provided to her. They did not even allow me to have the opportunity to stand and watch or look for any empty seats WHICH THERE WERE MANY EMPTY SEATS! Needless to say, I found a ticket so I could see the show, with NO help from this establishment. DISGUSTING!

Nothing angers me more than being forced to give any stars. Oh wait. Yes there is. Getting to the venue to be told we don’t have tickets to see my 6 year old great-niece perform with her dance team. Good job Symphony Hall. Oh wait. Miller Symphony Hall. Maybe the Miller is the problem. I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid and have never been more disgusted than I am right now. Back to my niece. You made a little girl cry. She was so upset that her family couldn’t be there. Not cool. I hope the dance studio finds a different venue to patronize and you are out thousands of dollars next year. Shame on you. Get better customer service and management.

Jordan gave the best service! He gave good food recommendations & made the BEST cocktails. Sports and Social has such a nice patio to sit at outside especially during this warm weather! Will be back!! & they did a Love Island watch party which was so cute

9.29.25: (EAGLES vs. TAMPA) Jamie and Kaitlyn were absolutely fantastic! My guy and I got here at about 12noon. Jaiw spoke to me and really made sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. (Both my guy and I). When Kaitlyn got there she swooped right in to help and worked hand in hand with Jamie to take care of EVERYONE! From drinks, food, customer service and humanism, they covered it all! They are both sweet women and take their jobs seriously. Wonderful example of great service and partnership. Job well done! ❤️

Another satisfied customer. The food is very good. The chef made a special habanero hot sauce just for me. The waitresses are very friendly and always smiling. Definitely one of the best spots here in downtown Allentown to enjoy your day off.

The atmosphere is great, outdoor seating, 3 bars, TV's too many to count, service was great and very friendly. We had made reservations and were sat immediately. They have an extensive drink menu and food offerings. My only negative would be, they advertise a Philadelphia cheese steak...with cheese whiz....should be a steak sandwich with cheese whiz. It is not a Philly cheese steak, and could use a bit more steak than roll. The milk shake was not close to thick, more like a chocolate milk.

From the moment I arrived, the energy at Sports & Social was vibrant and welcoming. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and laid-back — TVs everywhere for the big games, great music, and a crowd that’s clearly having a good time. The place is spotless, well-lit, and the staff works seamlessly together to keep everything running smoothly. What really elevated my visit was Evelyn, our server. She was absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional without ever feeling overbearing. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask, made great recommendations from the menu, and checked in often enough to make sure everything was perfect. Her positive attitude and genuine hospitality stood out, and it’s clear she takes pride in making sure guests have an excellent experience. The food came out fresh and flavorful, drinks were mixed perfectly, and the timing of everything was spot-on. You can tell the management keeps high standards across the board. Overall, I’d rate my experience a 10 out of 10. Evelyn made the visit memorable, and the entire Sports & Social team helped make it one of the best dining and social experiences I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend stopping by — and if you can, ask for Evelyn. She’ll take great care of you!

My waitress was very friendly & helpful with meal choices. Lunch meal was surprisingly very good. 1st time there & will not be the last. My family enjoyed every moment.

Came in the other night to sports and social for the first time with a large group of my family (they were 9 of us) And received spectacular service from our waitress, Bree! She was extremely attentive and kind. The food was also way better than we were expecting, I definitely recommend the Southwest bowl as quite a few of us ended up ordering it and it was a huge hit. So glad we decided to give this spot a chance instead of driving out of the city area.

I went here for a girls night yesterday. We had too much fun, I had to write a review. Loved the food, and our server Samantha R was too nice. She was a sweetheart, and made sure we were got the while night. Will definitely be going back for our next girls night. And I did recommend to other friends because the workers were great and the food was amazing

Venny's Pizza and Restaurant is a delightful gem in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where the essence of homemade fast food shines through every dish. As you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a relaxed dining experience. The attentive staff adds to the charm, always ready with recommendations and even remembering returning guests.
Walking into Venny’s feels like stepping into that version of home where your mom swears fast food is poison, so she whips up her own homemade “fast food” that tastes 100x better. The food here is made with actual love and care, you can taste it in every bite. The cheeseburger? HUGE. I’m talking the size of my head… finally, somebody gets it! The fries were thick, crispy, and perfectly golden (none of that soggy nonsense). I walked out stuffed, smiling, and empty-handed because nothing survived the table. 100 out of 10 for this family spot—if food could hug you, this would be it.

I really like coming here. The staff is always really sweet and even remembered me when I came back. I like their Pizzas but I love their baked ziti, it’s my favorite. Their Omlette and potatoes in the morning are a great way to start the day and I think the prices are fair. I also really love their garlic knots & beef patties. The vibe is quiet, the music is calming, and it’s a spot I always enjoy walking to.

The restaurant offered a truly enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu. Each dish was prepared with skill and care, showcasing fresh ingredients and delightful flavors. Overall, the restaurant exceeded expectations, leaving a lasting positive impression.

Horrible came for a gyro over priced for nasty tasteless chicken. Also barley given fries for 14.00 this was horrible never again.

Hands down one of the worst pizza spots I’ve ever been to . The pizza was flat-out horrible , soggy , and barely edible . On top of that, the service was just as bad , rude and careless like they didn’t even want to be there. Total waste of money and time. Definitely would not recommend to anyone .
