Restaurant
Monk's BBQ is a laid-back spot known for its smoked meats, craft beers, and bourbon. Located in Purcellville, Northern Virginia, this joint offers some of the best brisket and pastrami in the area. The menu features mouthwatering options like burnt ends, pulled pork, and flavorful sides such as smoked Gouda mac & cheese and vinegar-based slaw. Whether you're craving barbecue classics or upscale dishes, Monk's BBQ has something for every mood.
15JULY2025 Excellent, friendly, and honest service. Me and my partners first time here and we will be back. The customers and staff are wonderful. Me and my partner got the 1/2 lb of pulled pork and it was tender and moist. The house sauce is delicious.

Great food! Awesome music and super friendly staff. The hot links the turkey, the ribs, the jalapeno poppers all excellent. Stop in. They have a full bar and you won't get any better. Smoked meats, baked beans, coleslaw and just a great atmosphere to show up. Hang out. Hang out all day. Get your Billy full, get you a cold drink and listen to some hometown jams. We really enjoyed our stop and we will be back as soon as possible

These barbecue ribs were definitely the best I’ve ever had. They were incredibly fresh and had almost no bones, cooked perfectly. I was amazed by the quality and the generous portion size. The ambiance was also great, and I loved the smell of wood on the food. The smashed potatoes were outstanding as well. I highly recommend this place.
Kasra S — Google review
This place is most likely the best bbq in Virginia. If you're heading here from the DMV, don't expect Purcellville prices to be lower than home. Brisket is insanely juicy. Ribs pretty good too. Desserts hit.

I’ve been coming to Monk's BBQ for years and finally decided to leave a review — this place truly deserves the recognition. Without a doubt, it’s one of the best BBQ joints in Northern Virginia. The quality is consistently top-tier, and it’s no surprise they’ve been featured on multiple news outlets. The menu offers a great variety, but I always recommend The Piglet — it’s perfect for 2 to 4 people and gives you a generous sampling of their BBQ staples like brisket, burnt ends, sausage, and more. Every item is meticulously prepared and packed with flavor, making for a fantastic BBQ experience every time. If you’re in the area and love real BBQ, Monk's is an absolute must-visit.

AMAZING! Everything.was.Amazing Friendly staff, fast service, DELICIOUS food, generous portions. Both the pastrami and pulled chicken were melt in your mouth tender. Beautiful smoke flavor Great homemade sauces And the cornbread is on a seperate planet of goodness!!!!! It would be dangerous if this spot was closer to home! I'm already drooling/dreaming of our next visit Other notes: Order at the counter and then they bring your order to you. Plenty of seating - indoor and outdoor ( covered patio area) Huge selection of craft beers, whiskey and bourbon Clean gender neutral restrooms What we tried *Pastrami: Whole beef brisket cured and seasoned with their pastrami rub and smoked all night *Pulled Chicken: Our chicken is smoked whole over a blend of hickory and cherry. *Cornbread custard *Monks beans (with smoked rib tips) *Vingear slaw My rating rationale +1 Service +1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality +1 Presentation +1 Atmosphere/vibe +1 Value

Tried the mini BBQ platter. Got a little bit of everything! More than enough food for the ,5 of us. I like the sausage, the rest of the party gave it mixed reviews, ribs solid fall of the bone. Pulled pork was good as was the chicken.smoked pastrami was good if a bit dru. There were more meats on the platter... Not sure which was which.... Two seemed to be burnt ends... The large chunks ... Were over cooked and tough... The small slices seasoned all over were juicy fatty slices of heaven! One more pulled something... Good smoked flavor but dry and chewy. Good cornbread but it is more of a dessert. Loved the udder style of getting extra sauce! Great selection of beers and bourbon! Live entertainment on the weekends! Service isn't much..Order than hope you find a seat. Seating is grab it if you can . just a flag and a drop off.

Our party of 7 came here for lunch on a Sunday. We like the cozy, friendly atmosphere. The manager or owner came by to welcome and said Hi twice. At this restaurant, you pick a table, go to order the food, get the drinks yourself, then a server will bring to food to the table. Everything worked very well. We ordered various dishes, all were OK, no wow factor. 2 of us came here specifically to have the pastrami but it was dry, not much flavor, quite a disappointment! You will see a black board with list of dishes but watch out, all sides, including corn bread have their own prices, so the bill will be higher than we expected. We might be back to try some other dishes

We had a very unpleasant time here. It seems like the other people may not have had a pleasant time either as there is another review that was submitted the same day we went. The staff (already short staffed) seemed to be getting ready for an event. We had to sit outside because the entire area inside was going to be used and they wanted to set up. A few people were eating inside but no one was allowed to. The area outside was no prepped for people to sit. They barely had a few booths that had been wiped down. We were looking at the menu and ordered at least water and perhaps an appetizer from a young lady. Not even 5 min later a man came over (maybe chef) and asked if we were ready to order but he was in a haste and walked off when we said we needed more time. She came back and we ordered food. The appetizer was basically thrown on the table by person who brought us the food. He was half walking away while dropping off the appetizer. The rest food was delivered and we asked for a side of marinara. It was never brought over. We would have left sooner but it started pouring. The lady brought us the check when we asked for boxes. We noticed that they charged us for the marinara sauce. We couldn’t get the lady so we spoke to a manager. He seemed a bit bothered by the fact that we pointed it out but he said he would make it right. We asked if there was Apple Pay and he said yes but that we had to go to the front. We went to the front and a very rude lady said that it couldn’t be used because they get charged for using Apple Pay. She wanted cash. At the end she took Apple Pay. We asked for a bag for our boxes and she said they were .50 cents each so we said fine. Overall very unpleasant and the food was ok-ish. The pasta was overly salty. The mozzarella sticks ok and the calzone was ok just too much ricotta cheese. I would avoid this place if you plan to pay with anything other than cash and if you see they are setting up for something because they cannot multi-task. There was only one other person in the back and even then it was too much for them which made atmosphere and attitudes very unpleasant.

Got the Fish and chips lunch special for $12 and the Chefs special Lamb Shank for $22. Both were incredible with the Lamb Shank taking top spot. Got my order to go, it held up well in transport but I regret not finding the time to have a seated meal as the ambience was nice and the wines and mixed drinks looked enticing.
Thomas C — Google review
We had a delicious meal here, salmon with linguine and vegetarian stromboli. Plus chocolate cake. Went back again two months later and the meal was just as delicious! Kid-friendly, too.

Stopped here for lunch. I ordered a caprese salad and a side of garlic bread, hubby ordered an individual pizza. Portions are large! So you might want to ask about how much/how large items are before ordering. My side of garlic bread could easily have fed four (I took it home, because it was very good.) Same with the pizza which was cooked to order and very tasty. Service is laid back and friendly. The decor harkens back to an earlier time and while not awful, it does feel like this place could benefit from a refresh. Seems like this is a popular spot for locals who were lingering over a lunch when we got there around 1:00. We won't be regulars, but if our travels take us this way again, we'd be glad to stop in for a shared pizza and salad lunch.

Hamburger restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Restaurant
Market Burger Fries & Shakes is a compact counter-order restaurant located in Purcellville, offering delicious local beef hamburgers and classic milkshakes. The restaurant is known for its juicy, grass-fed beef patties with a variety of toppings, as well as rich malts and shakes. It's situated near other popular dining spots like Magnolias, Monks BBQ, Anthonys, West End Wine Bar and Pub, and Tuskies.
We read somewhere that this place is one of Loudoun County’s best burger places and decided to give it a try, even though it’s about 35 minutes driving from our house. Definitely worth it! The place is charming, staff is super nice and friendly, and the best part is the food! Nicely put on the serving plate. House burger is what we ordered, egg and bacon just makes it special. We’ll for sure be back for more!
Jan H — Google review
This seems to be a quaint little place. They have burgers and fries and nothing else, but that's not bad. There is a good selection of toppings for your burger. When the burgers arrived, it was quite noticable that the fries are enormous. Good thing we only order 1. They are homemade shoestring fries which were crispy almost to the point of overdone but not quite. The burgers looked attractive initially. It was then obvious that the burgers were significantly smaller than the bun which was disappointing. The patty was thin but that's okay. I was taken aback by the bill. The burgers are decent but not meaty enough for the a la cart price. I am willing to return if others wish to go and check it out.
Papa J — Google review
Flavorful, juicy burgers made to order. Generous serving of really good shoe string fries which we polished off. Try the herb mayo! Charming vintage decor of Purcellville through the years in this no more than 20 person seating area which is always full. Friendly efficient staff, bus your own tray, but if they have time will bring food to your table.
Susan D — Google review
The place didn’t live up to my expectations. The photos and reviews were so enticing that I rushed to try it out, but the food was disappointing. The fries were good, but the burger was just average. Additionally, I find it strange when fast-food restaurants like this ask for tips after you order from the cashier.
Kasra S — Google review
Stopped by for lunch about 2 weeks ago and haven’t stopped thinking about the delicious BLT I had .. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT !! Every thing about my sandwich and nicely fried shoe string fries was very good. I wish they had a few more beverages to choose from and a tad bit more elbow grease on cleaning ✨✨ I had already enjoyed 1/2 my sandwich before snagging a picture because it had my mouth watering and it delivered 💯

Greasy, juicy, freshly sourced burger! Excellent service! 10/10
Chad H — Google review
This place is awesome. I have no way of accurately describing this place other than they provide a burger-centric experience. The whole vibe is just simple, awesome burgers. People compare to melt in Leesburg. It's difficult to compare because these are closer to smash burgers. 6/10 times, id come here over melt. What i love: Patty Pickles Maple mustard Sweet potato fries Tavern style fries Herb mayo Generous portions Generous toppings Speed of service The brioche bun is great (I prefer melts sourdough buns tho) They earned a regular customer
Grant E — Google review
Very good sweet potato fries and burgers. Lots of topping options and love that it’s all locally sourced. I would say taste and quality rivals Melt Burger in Leesburg with fries and quality maybe a little shower however patties are a bit thinner here and less topping and alternative options. Seating is crowed and it take some time to get your food but this seems typical of most burger joints in the area. I would say if you like Melt you’ll like this place. I would rate them both as some of the best burgers in the area with a few key differences.

My wife and I popped in one afternoon for a quick little dinner. On a Friday night, we were seated quickly and our waiter was fantastic! She was super friendly and gave a quick overview of the daily items. We had the burger on a previous visit and it was so juicy and delicious! This spot doesn't disappoint with its delicious farm fresh offerings.

We dined here on a whim on vacation and it is now one of our all time favorites! The menu was so impressive and everything was so good from start to finish . My Margarita with watermelon infused tequila and basil was refreshing and perfect for summer. The BLT salad was the best I’ve ever had . The porterhouse pork chop with peach chutney was the highlight and a perfect combination. Service was also great . We enjoyed patio seating but the inside was gorgeous. We will be making the trip back just for Magnolia at the Mill!

We wanted that farm to table experience and this place fits that vibe. Food came out fresh and flavorful. Service was helpful and friendly too. Deviled eggs- tasty Ancient grains salad with steak- lean and filling. Would have been better if they let me add the dressing because it came out soggy Cheese burger- was good but messy The focaccia bread they serve is sooo good! So easy to fill up on it! They had a nice menu. There are more things I would love to try on the menu.

My husband and I decided to have dinner here for the first time this past Monday, and it was absolutely fabulous! We have had a rough few weeks and decided to go on an impromptu date night and decided to check this spot off our list of new places we had been wanting to try. Our server Kiara was kind, attentive, & was very knowledgeable in the menu options, which was very helpful when we were stuck deciding exactly what to choose. We started off with the fried green tomatoes which were so good I forgot to even take a picture. By the time I realized this we had already eaten half of the appetizer. For drinks my husband had the pomegranate sparkler and I had "The Ideal Husband" with the jalapeño vodka. Then, for our second round we had "The Greer" & I had a titos lemon drop martini with a sugar rim. When I tell you the lemon drop was out of this world, im talking like a boozy ball park lemonade. I couldn't even taste the vodka, but it was definitely there! Special shout out to the bar tender Sabrina because all of our drinks were fabulous! For entrée we both had the filet special with lump crab meat, asparagus, & potatoe gratin. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the crab meat was fresh and huge in volume and the sauce was to die for! It was probably one of the best steaks I have had recently. So soft and just melted in your mouth! For dessert we had the creme brulle and the brick over baked cookie a la mode. The creme brulle was made with fresh vanilla as I could see the fresh vanilla beans in the bottom of the dish and the brulle top was done to perfection accompanied with a lemon shortbread cookie, fresh berries & cream. The cookie was also incredibly well balanced and you cant go wrong with a warm chocolate chunk cookie and ice cream! We cant wait to come back!!

We had an awesome gluten free lunch with Fish & Chips and a side of GF bread. What a treat! It was delicious. I didn't want chips and got brussel sprouts instead. They were fabulously crunchy. The service was impeccable and the surroundings soothing and fun at the same time. Definitely recommend!

⸻ We made a reservation for 11 people, and they accommodated our party with no issues. The restaurant offers both outdoor and plenty of indoor seating. I ordered the Almond Crusted Trout — it was a great dish, though a bit heavy on the almonds. I was a little disappointed that the Beef Tenderloin Tip Pasta couldn’t be cooked medium rare. I also wish the menu had more healthy options, as most dishes come with creamy sauces or risotto. It would be nice to see some lighter sides, like potatoes or asparagus, instead of risotto with every entrée, especially for the price point. On a positive note, the kids’ meal portions were generous and very tasty

First time at this restaurant. Gave 4 star out of 5, because a Tea was served w/o a spoon, no honey or lemon even though I requested it. The empty Tea cup was not clean and the spoon when arrived was not clean either. Don’t go too hungry, because I waited more than one hour for the food and other customers that arrived after me, their food was served first. But I must say, my food was very delicious.

Brewery
Adroit Theory Brewing Company is a small, nano-brewery located in Purcellville, Loudoun County, Virginia. The airy and industrial taproom offers a unique selection of barrel-aged craft beers on tap and also provides growlers to go. Known for their innovative interpretations of classic styles, the brewery's offerings include mango IPAs, mint and green tea saison, caramel macchiato milk stout, stouts & DIPAs.
Best local brewery! Been coming for over a decade, amazing how much the place is grown. I remember when you could try them all at once! Absolutely incredible art work and naming! Newest one “death metal” is awesome.
Christopher C — Google review
This isn't the cookie cutter brewery. The tap list shows imagination, a bit of experimentation, and some brews push the limits of what can still be described as beer. For example, the Imperial Stout was thick and a muddy beige color, like a milkshake and had the most amazing creamy nutty flavor that was unlike any beer or anything I've ever had before. About the place: the taproom was small with limited seating, the taplist had a very good variety, we sat on the outdoor patio, as the weather was nice the day we visited. I walked in excited to try everything Adroit Theory had available and I left the place very impressed. I can go to a different brewery every day and I won't come across anything quite like Adroit Theory. Well done, guys. My hats off to the good folks behind this concept!
Joe G — Google review
Loved their smoothie sours and dessert beers, they are extremely tasty and definitely out of the normal. I also enjoy the music played at the establishment. In comparison to other breweries it’s on the smaller end and not many other things to do/drink/eat a side from their tap, but the quality of the beers definitely make up for that.
Sara A — Google review
Felt like a hidden gem, hole in the wall kind of vibe. Lots of interesting beers on the menu, many with high ABV. The triple IPA on tap was dank, stone fruity, hazy, and delish. But, also triple, so getting a smaller pour is probably the move. Their stouts ranged from 12 to 16.4% alcohol. Tried 5 oz. of one of the 12 percenters, and it's darn good. Bought a can of 16.4% to take home. Stickers are free and plentiful, but are also only beer labels.
Peter D — Google review
Seen several reviews here, most very good and some with mixed reviews, so I figured I’d leave my honest input. Adroit Theory is an overall pretty good brewery. Be aware that there is not much parking around the area when it is busy. The venue was pretty nice, however small on the inside. When the weather is nice though, they have a decent patio for seating. The beer was very good. It was a little more expensive than other breweries, however, they were very good and the more expensive ones were specialized styles. It was a bit disappointing that only 4 of their 16 beers were on draft. Partly I’m sure this comes from smoothie sours/coffee creams clogging lines, but it would’ve been nice for their IPAs to be on draft. As a heads up, you can get singles/crowlers to go! Service was decent. They had one person working the counter. For most days it’s probably fine, but going on a weekend with 30+ people the person was overwhelmed and service was slow and at times crowded. All in all this is a pretty decent brewery with very good beer I would recommend going to.
David S — Google review
The beers of this brewery are unique and very flavorful. Even the artwork of the labels are amazing!
Jesse R — Google review
BEST BREWERY AROUND, IMO!! I've enjoyed their beers for years! Hundreds of breweries tried later and still possibly my favorite!! Not sure how you make a quad drink like a 6%er but they do. Not sure how you make all these insane stouts, slushies, IPA'S, and sours so amazing but here you are, killing it!!! The flavors they're able to put into these beers is unrivaled! Never, ever have i seen these flavor profiles in beer form. You think it, id almost assure you they can brew it. Had the best apple cider donut stout there this week in regular and slushy form and both were awesome! My pick, the slushy! The brewery atmosphere is awesome if you're chill but love music, mostly metal. But, and a big but, make friends with Chris and Mikaela, they're the best!!!!! The brewer and assistant brewer are cool as hell too! I cant imagine finding a funnier group of genuinely amazing folks! Fantastic, funny, and full of life! The customers rock as well! Looking forward to our next trip up from TN-VA!! Hopefully sooner rather than later!!! Make sure you try all the beers available in slushy form in both non slushy and slushy form, very different. I got to see some cool puppies too! And if you wanna buy a SXS or 4 wheeler they sell them across the road!
Nathan L — Google review
Love this brewery! The beers are always interesting, delicious and they have a ton of options. You cannot beat the atmosphere inside with great tunes, cozy couches, and plenty of bar height tables and stools. Pack a picnic and enjoy the outdoor seating while sampling your favorites or trying something new, like one of the summer slushies. (omg! so good) This is a great spot for a meet up, hang out, or a party bus stop. It's important to note, their excellent beer is only topped by the quality of people who work here. They share so much information about the beers and you can tell they really care about their customers experience, the beverages they produce, and creating a welcoming space for all beer lovers. It's a good thing they arent open super late or we would spend a lot more evenings here. The To Go Menu makes it really easy to bring their tasty brews home too! We have made visiting Adroit a part of our regular routine and suggest you do the same!

Breaux Vineyards is a popular hillside winery located in far northwest Loudoun County, set on a 400-acre estate near the Potomac River. The French Chateaux-style winery offers tours, tastings, and outdoor markets, along with patio dining and live music. The elegant interiors are inspired by Louisiana and the venue offers multiple options for ceremonies, including the romantic Lafayette Terrace nestled among the vines and the opulent Acadia with panoramic windows.
Wholeheartedly recommend. Pros: - Nice dry wines with full flavor - which can be hard in VA to produce. Also has sweet options, including sangria. - Pet friendly both outdoors and inside; they even have an area that you can be inside with your pet! This is quite unique for VA wineries/breweries. - Personal food only outside, but once you finish eating your food outside you can move about wherever you like. You can sit wherever if you buy their food. - They had a variety of seating arrangements outside. They even had a large tent area for groups - Friendly staff, who were patient and helpful when picking a wine to suit your tastes. - Live music - visited on a Sunday afternoon, and live music until 5pm! - Beautiful scenery, and a large amount of their own grapes. - Inclusive food menu with beyond burger as an option for Vegan/Vegetarians. Opportunities: - Water; as mentioned in other reviews, bring your own water or pay $2.50/bottle (Aug 2025). They did also have other non-alcoholic drinks. They stated they have "agricultural" water that is not safe to drink. What do they use when washing dishes for cooking in the kitchen? Not sure why they couldn't just install a reverse osmosis sink filtration system or another suitable water filter/water fountain. We can bring our own water but it is a bit mind boggling.

Nice vineyard, plenty of tables and selection of wines. The place was nice, but minus one star for the wines. The best one we had was Chere Marie. Had two different flights and we enjoy the Chere Marie white wine which is similar to Reislings. It has live singer too, overall a fun day with awesome weather.

Overall, the location is gorgeous with a beautiful view. However, the overall experience is pretty subpar. There really is no customer service except behind the main bar. The inside is very nice with live music. If you sit on the outside patio, there is no music. No waitress/waiter checking up on your party, taking orders, picking up trash, cleaning the area, etc. You have a buzzer that lets you know when your food is ready, and you go inside to pick it up. The food is nothing special. Very basic items on the menu that are served in plastic take away boxes. Once you're done with your meals, you have to clean up your own table. Bathrooms are a disaster. Smells like death, dirty tissues everywhere, and dirty stalls. The positives: overall view is beautiful, prices are very affordable, and the customers all seemed very happy. Staff seems friendly. Overall experience: if you want a casual place to sip on wine and eat basic foods for an affordable price with a decent view, check this place out. The overall cleanliness and lack of customer service needs works in my opinion. Check out the pictures for reference.

I had a pretty mixed experience at Breaux. We visited as a group of 12 and were told we couldn’t sit outside on their balcony because of the risk of our “noise” bouncing off the covered roof, which felt a bit off. They also wouldn’t let us split into two smaller groups to make it work, so we had to sit inside. The vibe inside was… interesting. Lots of fake flowers and parrots for their Key West event, which felt out of place at a vineyard in Virginia. I’m not sure why you’d want to pretend you’re at a Florida retirement home when you’re surrounded by beautiful Virginia countryside. A few other odd choices: they don’t offer free drinking water, even though they’re serving alcohol. You have to buy plastic bottled water, which seems irresponsible, especially since everyone has to drive to get there. This alone docked a star—why not offer free tap water? Food came in plastic clamshell containers with plastic cutlery, which felt wasteful. The po boy was just a shrimp sandwich—no battered or fried shrimp and no shredded lettuce as you’d expect from an actual po boy. The charcuterie was pre-made and pulled from a fridge covered in plastic wrap, not fresh or made to order. That said, the staff were friendly, and the wine was decent and relatively reasonably priced (about $30 a bottle, $20 for a tasting). The outdoor grounds were nice too—it’s just a shame we couldn’t enjoy them properly. Overall, it felt like some strange decisions from management took away from what could be a nice experience.

A warm and peaceful afternoon at the winery. Fall was absolutely beautiful, and I can’t wait to see how the other seasons will feel here.

This has to be one of the best vineyards I visited. It has a very beautiful view. They have a very good collection of wine 🍷 We visited during a key west festival and we witnessed a pretty good crowd. Everyone has dressed up very pretty and we had a very beautiful day. Not to forget the bands that played. They were amazing . Overall a best experience. We are definitely going to stop one more before the winters hits.

This is one of our favorite wineries! They are semi-dog friendly inside with only the room on the right by the patio, which was a little warm due to the hot and humid July temps, but better than outside in all of that heat. The wines are delicious, the service is excellent, and the scenery is spectacular!
Kristin M — Google review
The wine is excellent, the staff are super knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, the facilities are pristine, the events are well organized, the food is delicious, and the overall environment is classy and very down-to-earth all at the same time. Parking is easy and organized. Staff are typically waiting to greet customers, provide information, direction, and willing to help. I've been here multiple times. Each time is the same--perfect.

What a great spot! Fun for the whole family with axe throwing, darts, pool tables and board games. Perfect outing on a rainy day. Nice people, good vibes, we will definitely be back!

I'm fairly new to axe throwing, having only visited two other axe throwing venues in the DMV...but THIS one was the BEST! The sheer number and variety of axe throwing games available is awesome! Both Kristen and Lori, our hosts on the day we visited, were equally awesome and welcoming and helpful. There is an impressive selection of draft beer on hand, and while we didn't have any, the food did DID look great! I cannot more HIGHLY recommend a better place to try axe throwing in. Northern Virginia...make it a priority to visit Elysium!!! 🙂

The marching band mom’s and our son’s got together to experience something a little different… WE all had a phenomenal time. It was a cool & chill atmosphere. Those chipotle chicken wings were absolutely amazing! Best of all, although we were amateurs we had a blast throwing axes!

Was my first time ever axe throwing with friends and it was a great experience! My friends who had never been to this location before were even saying it was way more fun here than other places they've been! Great music, great drinks, and friendly staff all made it a great time! Also would highly recommend the shot roulette!

We got there at 2 pm on Saturday, when it opened. Just grabbed some sodas. Staff/Axe Coach is extremely nice and helpful. I was very impressed with how upscale it is. We loved the different game options... Killing zombies was the best. We'll be back.

When looking for a new place to try, I always look at reviews for places and products. So here is my review for Elysium Axe Bar in Purcellville, Va. My husband and I had been wanting to try this place out for a while now, so we decided tonight’s the night! The on line reservation process was easy, we reserved a time and a lane without any problems. Upon arrival the staff was polite and very helpful. They went over waivers and axe throwing safety with us, prior to our start time. We enjoyed a few appetizers and drinks while having a great time throwing axes at different targets and games. Elysium was clean and had a great atmosphere. Fun place for adults , teens and families to enjoy. We are looking forward to going back soon.

Visited Elysium Axe Bar for the first time and was pleasantly thrilled at the whole experience! The server/Axe Throwing Trainer Steven was super friendly and helpful (and didn’t once laugh at our lack of skill ;) We enjoyed apps and cocktails while trying out the various axe throwing games. The online reservation process super user friendly and as we arrived we’re shown directly to our stall. The live music added to the light hearted atmosphere and was talented! Your reservation is for 90 mins and seemed long but actually flew by ! We’ll definitely be back!!

Modern European restaurant
BIA Kitchen is a delightful culinary gem that beautifully marries European inspiration with locally sourced ingredients. Nestled in Purcellville, Virginia, this charming eatery offers a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for food enthusiasts. The menu showcases an array of dishes crafted from fresh, local produce, ensuring each bite bursts with flavor. Whether you're indulging in their signature offerings or exploring seasonal specials, BIA Kitchen promises a memorable dining experience that celebrates the essence of farm-to-table cuisine.
Great food, generous portions, great service and cozy atmosphere. Went here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The cocktails were really good and unique. We both got Anna's revenge, which is spicy and just perfect. I had the beef short rib ravioli and my husband got the crab cakes. Portions were larger than expected and food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Can't wait to return. My only critique is the top floor was pretty loud, which was too jarring for me. They could use some sound damper omg panels or something to fix it if they wanted. But I will be back! It was good!

We made reservations at Bia Kitchen for my husband's birthday after reading their reviews on Open Table and Google. Unfortunately, my review does not include many positives. We started with the bruschetta as our appetizer. This consisted of three crostinis with a pile of tomato something. It did not have much flavor at all, which is quite surprising for a bruschetta, but we were hopeful going into our meals. Everyone raved about the short rib ravioli in the reviews and that was what my husband ended up getting. He was very disappointed with the three flavorless raviolis on his plate. Honestly, he had nothing good to say about this entree. I ordered the sea bass entree. The sea bass was cooked well but the succotash that accompanied it was not good. It was supposed to be paprika but all I kept getting was strong bites of cumin every now and again. The mango was a good addition since it had lots of flavor itself but the red beans were not soft, some even crunchy. I also ordered a side of spinach and wild mushrooms, which was a small dish of sauteed spinach and shiitake mushrooms - not the wild mushroom mix I was thinking we'd receive. For drinks, my husband ordered an Old Fashion. The Old Fashion was weak in flavor and also did not include any orange. Maybe using a large format cube would help with keeping it from tasting watered down. I ordered two mules. The first mule was pretty good with a nice mix of ginger beer, vodka, and lime. The second, not so much. My first sip, even after stirring, was straight lime juice concentrate. So, 2 out of the three $14 cocktails were weak and almost flavorless. Needless to say, we opted out of dessert. The service was the only good thing about our experience and seeing the beautiful millwork. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Gerry was also very kind as we arrived and were departing. I don't know if we just came on a bad day or if there was a change in the kitchen, but this was not what I was expecting. We spent a good amount of money here to only come out feeling unsatisfied and, honestly, still hungry. I felt terrible that my husband didn't get a good birthday dinner out.

Had a reservation for last night. Was told to go upstairs which was so much more crowded than downstairs. There we waited. And waited. And waited. The staff seemed confused on the order to take care of people and a large group of us were standing around bumping in to each other. 15 minutes after our reservation we finally were seated. We ordered drinks first and this is where we really begin this review… You did two things wrong to start; you put what looked to be very inexperienced staff behind the bar making cocktails for a place that’s supposed to have nice cocktails and second, your cocktail recipes are just BAD. They are over-sugared, watered-down, unbalanced and lacking the foundational knowledge of what makes a good cocktail. We sent two rounds back to the bar they were so bad. Please rework your cocktails! As an example, the BIA Lady is just the flavor of Hi-C. Single-note and sickeningly sweet. Then we moved on to appetizers. The food was disappointing. Gosh I wish we would have asked for some money off the bill but the cocktails exhausted us. The mussels were so disappointing. No flavor, lukewarm warm, and the first time I’ve ever just said no to finishing. The best things we had were the red pepper soup and whipped ricotta. Everything else tasted and gave the overall impression of sitting under a warming lamp for far too long. Then dinner came. It was good but not great. Certainly not for the price paid. Overcooked or under flavored was the consensus. But it was at least hot! Dessert? Nope didn’t stay for that. Decided to relocate to a venue with drinks worth the money!

Gorgeous old building, very comfortable setting, very welcoming staff Definitely recommend the fish and chips, seared tuna salad, and the ribeye. Desserts were fresh and incredible. We made the mistake of scheduling our reservation for tomorrow, and even though we arrived at 8:15 on a 9 pm closing night they were super friendly and accommodating. Food was beyond expectations, the wines were incredible. Just go! We are going to become regulars, even though we have to travel nearly an hour. Worth it.

Rustic, simple, elegant ambiance, great for an intimate date. A little loud at times, but nice place for a quaint meal. Food was tasty, nothing extraordinary, just a delicious meal, great portion.

I found the interior very well designed. The woodwork was beautiful, artwork pleasing and furniture tasteful and comfortable. It isn’t a large sprawling space, but instead cozy. They’ve appropriately utilized as much of the dining space as they can making tables close, but not too close. I thankfully made a reservation in advance as they were very busy at 7:45PM on a Saturday. There was a nice gentleman outside who greeted me and opened the door. The hostess was towards the back of the restaurant, saw me, came to greet and seat me. I was given a drink and dinner menu and some water. Abby was my server, she was pleasant, made recommendations, refilled my wine glass and checked on me appropriately. She seemed to be busy, but attentive to everyone else as well. I wanted to try an appetizer, entree and dessert since it was my first visit. The burrata and prosciutto were high quality, tasty and plated appealingly with leafy greens and roasted tomatoes. The short rib ravioli had great depth of flavor and rich, but not too rich. The ravioli were large and filling. I couldn’t eat it all and yet was tempted to and to order some bread to soak the extra sauce, but refrained so that I could try the crème brûlée. The crème brûlée was a nice hint of lemon with good texture and the caramelized sugar crunchy without being burnt. I was quite happy with my visit and hope to return every time I’m in town visiting.

We had a fantastic dinner here last night. We had the Irish Nachos as an appetizer, they were excellent. We had the Amish Chicken and the Fish and Chips, both delicious. The place was crowded but the service was prompt and friendly and we really could not have been happier. We will definitely go back!

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Food very fresh and great portions. I had a nice variety plate with eggs, pancakes choice of meat. Breakfast burrito was good as wel. Depending on what you get food prices are higher but within the normal range of restaurants in the area. I would recommend this restaurant. Next time I want to have lunch there. I know it will be delicious.

I have heard how delicious the Pub food is so I decided to stop by for some takeout. Upon my arrival, I was greeted immediately & placed my order. The food did not disappoint! I ordered a reuben sandwich with fries which arrived within 15 minutes. It was delicious! While I was waiting for my food, I noticed a good sized area for outdoor dining as well as indoor seating. A group of 4 came in behind me & was seated immediately - I overheard their immediate comment that the music was too loud. I could see that having a quiet conversation might be difficult especially as the place gets busier. If you're looking for delicious food & friendly service, I would definitely recommend!

Wow. I have no words. My experience dining at the Local pub was like no other. All of the service and food was amazing. And to think I just came in for a chill evening with the boys to watch some Monday night football and it turned into the best night of my night all thanks to Justin Mcclelland, our food runner. His energy and clear drive/passion for his job really heightened my experience dining at this fine establishment. The menu features an array of sweet and savory crepes, along with hand-rolled croissants and pastries. The café's inviting ambiance allows patrons to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an urban Parisian cafe.
The food was absolutely delicious. Crepe was perfect. Croque Monsieur had the right amount of cheese and was gooey but the bread held together. The raspberry champagne cocktail was delicious. Rose latte flavor was a wonderful balance. The outside seating wraps around the side with table, chairs, and umbrellas.

Exquisite plating, friendly staff, accommodations were excellent. Baby friendly bathroom and multiple highchairs. The food was delicious and filling. Iced oat chai was a fantastic choice. I got a savory crepe and could not finish it all on my own. I plan to make this a regular spot for baby and mom dates.
Rebecca S — Google review
Kudos for offering actual thin crêpes filled with very respectable amount of delicious filling. By far, Petite Loulou takes the #1 spot on my best crêpes list knocking off Dulce Crepe's thick and doughy crêpes. Paired with Loulou's house coffee, this brunch combo is hard to beat. With a nostalgic dark colored decor based seating area, it is no wonder the dining space feels like a local community gathering area. While the crêpes standout, It's a bit surprising the baked pastry items just sit on the counter continuously absorbing in the muggy air when it comes. Most if not all baked pastries looked very stale and wilted when early brunch hours roll around. So get the crêpes, but you can skip the baked goods.

What a great secret gem in the heart of Purcellville. We were pretty surprised with the food quality and the timeliness, the flavor was on par with much more expensive restaurants. Presentation was good and pricing is right. We'll be back for sure.

My wife and I stopped by this nice little creperie for some breakfast. The coffee was absolutely great, I ordered a cappuccino and she got a mocha. The staff was very fun and friendly. The decor and the vibe inside was perfect! I did not expect the floor to ceiling decor to be so in-theme from the outside of the bar. The furniture is comfy and there is of seating both indoor and outdoor. I do wish our drinks were served in mugs instead of to-go cups, but I did get my cappuccino in a glass. Unfortunately the crepe my wife got seemed a bit undercooked and a little too sweet for a savory crepe. She ordered the chicken cordon bleu, despite the unappealing crepe she said the proteins were delicious! I got the prosciutto and brie sandwich and it was excellent! The bread they used was very nicely made with the perfect balance of crunch and softness. The side salad was a bit too sour in opinion. Lastly, I got a butter croissant which was perfect! I have been told great things about these crepes so I wouldn't mind returning for the coffee and maybe a sweet crepe next time!

We have been coming to Petite LouLou Crêperie and Café for a long time now and this place never disappoints! The place is very nicely decorated and the staff is always friendly. We really enjoy the great tasting foods and the good variety of foods. Absolutely phenomenal Mexican food! We ordered the queso, seafood enchilada, & grilled Mahi Mahi fish tacos with mango pico. The food is wonderful! Even the coke and Mr Pibb we ordered had the perfect balance of syrup to carbonation ratio. I feel like it would be more like 3.5 stars but since that it’s not an option, I rounded up. Overall this is a pretty good Mexican Restaurant in Purcellville. We have been here a few times and always have a decent experience. The service is hey ally pretty good and the food always comes out fast. The chips and salsa are good. Which is a plus because some restaurants have salsa that is hit or miss. And the quest with chorizo is awesome! I enjoy a cup of it all to myself because some other family members aren’t big fans of cheese… fine by me! At the most recent visit I got the chicken and rice… a version of which is a favorite of mine at any Mexican restaurant. Honestly, this one was not my favorite. The cheese they put on it was almost more of a sauce and the dish ended up feeling like a pasta dish. The chicken was also over cooked and tough. My husband got the Tacos Al Carbon and he really enjoyed them. And their rice is really good! They also have a pretty good kids menu selection which we like. But honestly, their beef tacos are just okay. Whatever they cook the beef in made the crunchy taco soggy after awhile. It’s a good place to go if you don’t want to drive too far and have a craving for Mexican Food. But don’t go expecting it to knock your socks off.

I ordered for takeout at 7:50pm, and when I tried the food, the tamales didn't taste fresh (almost like they had been frozen and then reheated in a microwave before being given to me) and had a weird color and texture on the bottom of them. We also got a second dinner combo, but 10 mins after receiving the food, the ground beef (which tasted wet, not greasy) and had soaked through the chalupa leaving it in a soggy falling apart mess. The side rice was also soggy and the chips tasted stale. I was very confused and spoke to the manager. He told me that they make the ground beef in the morning and let it sit on a steam tray "like chipotle" but Chipotle makes multiple batches throughout the day instead of serving meat that has been sitting there for at least 9 hours. The story with the tamales was the same that they make 4-5 in the morning and keep those in the steam tray, and I assume that is the case with the rice as well. The manager offered for me to bring the food back so they could look at it and see if anything was wrong, but what was wrong is I was served food that I was directly told had been made that morning and it was insisted that it was fresh. I don't usually make complaints but I feel like they are bordering on the food becoming unsafe leaving it on a steam tray that long, all the while saying everything was made fresh. I was disappointed because it definetly wasn't worth $33 plus tip and it doesn't seem like an honest buisness practice.

Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink in Purcellville is a historic six-sided structure that used to host religious gatherings. Today, it has been transformed into a roller skating rink with a beautiful wood floor. The venue is perfect for kids' activities and birthday parties, offering pizza, cake, cups, drinks, and more. It features tables for events and fun games like video game setups and air hockey. The staff are friendly and welcoming to both experienced skaters and beginners.
This place is really cool! I had no idea it was here. They have a neat floor for both roller skating and rollerblading. The floor is lined by tables to be used during events (there were two birthday parties going on when we went) as well as fun games like a video game setup and air hockey. They also have a snack bar. The staff are all very friendly and it is affordably priced. Makes for a fun afternoon.

We held my 13 year old daughters birthday party here yesterday and It was perfect! I only had to bring the cake and they took care of everything else, including pizza, cake slicer, cups, drinks, clean up, and more! Which was a God send. The kids had an absolute blast skating and playing together. The staff there are delightful people and ring itself is so quaint and old school which I completely love. Cannot recommend this venue for parties, a fun play destination, or family bonding time enough!!
M B — Google review
The staff is so friendly and helpful! It has a family feeling to it! The floor is small, but perfect for the small crowd. Old school wood floors. Fun music. Games. You can rent skates, inline and regular.

Wonderful historic skate rink. The operators are very friendly and the facility is safe according to covid standards. Never busy and very reasonable cost wise. One of our favorite places in Purceville.

Nature & Parks
Franklin Park is a sprawling 203-acre natural space that offers breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge mountains. It boasts an array of activities for outdoor enthusiasts, including hiking and horse trails for those seeking adventure. The park also provides opportunities for fishing and various play areas for leisurely enjoyment. Standing out from other parks, Franklin Park features multiple sports courts such as tennis and inline hockey rinks, offering a unique experience.
One of the best parks in Loudoun. It’s now much easier to get to from points east with the various construction and engineering projects they’ve done along Route 7 and such. Located just a bit outside of Purcellville, the park offers trails, fishing, an excellent disc golf course that’s around 2 miles walking, several other sporting areas like the tennis/pickle ball courts, hockey rink, pool, baseball/softball fields, soccer/lacrosse fields, and horseshoes, several pavilions throughout, equestrian paths, and the Franklin Park Arts Center, which was home to the first East Coast Bob Ross art exhibit/display. One can spend a few hours or a day here with the various activities. One should note that the sun can be pretty brutal during the summer, and the wind really comes through there like the prairie, which might be alright in the summer, it’s like a Midwestern winter come change of seasons. I really wish Northern Virginia had more parks like this, and would really recommend visiting.

This is a great park, there is a dog park, public pool, tennis court, dek hockey rink, sand volley ball courts and trails. This is a great place to hang out or take the kids. It gets very busy on the weekends due to the pool being a main attraction
Tyler T — Google review
Best pool day ever. Very well laid out space. I was able to navigate with 4 kids. Definitely plan to pack lunch. Concessions doesn't have much. But I prefer it that way! Great Public pool!!
Matthew M — Google review
Lots of parking. Really poor signage (never did find the pedestrian hiking trail). Appreciated that someone had come to turn the porta-potties right-side up after the heavy winds. Plenty of benches and tables. Kids enjoyed spotting lots of turtles and birds. Nice to see the park being enjoyed by others (picnicking, fishing, playground, pick-up sports, etc.). Happy to have a dog-friendly place we can be outside and explore.
Kaylie G — Google review
Lovely park. Couldn’t figure out the disc golf course but had a lovely time trying to nonetheless.
Richelle K — Google review
Good place to have outside activities such as picnics, hiking, I would consider even to take wedding pictures at the little Kiosk. Would come back here as many times as I could to have a relaxing afternoon with friends, nice drive too if you like short road-trips
Jaime C — Google review
This park is pathetic. Tweens driving the county vehicles to harrass people that aren't involved with the overpriced pool, poor upkeep of facilities, no attention to stop signs & people crossing roads. The grounds are unkempt, the porta-potties are nightmares, the dog park has been enlarged to become a bigger mess and the gates have been "fixed" with electrical tape. Avoid.

Great fun for children of all ages. Food and drink on site. The best food and drink in town. Josh at the concession stand is very helpful. The lifeguards are very responsible. Friendly families every where!

Wineries & Vineyards
Sunset Hills Vineyard, owned by Mike and Diane Canney, is a picturesque winery located in Loudoun County. The vineyard, which features stunning views of the Blue Ridge and Short Hill Mountain, is committed to sustainable farming practices and energy-efficient initiatives. The property boasts 245 solar panels that provide power and four electric car charging stations for visitors.
Sunset Hills is a new favorite! We were looking for a place with a cozy interior since it was cold and windy out, and this spot was perfect! That said, I hope we can come back and enjoy the beautiful and plentiful outdoor space once it's warmer. We were able to just walk in and do a wine tasting with ease. The place has a nice cozy ambiance with some live music and several seating areas. The ladies working the bar were very nice and accommodating despite being fairly busy. The tasting was great and we had several favorites, including the 2020 sunset white and the 2021 Rose of Cabernet Sauvignon. The ciabatta bread and asiago cheese spread was delicious as well. Can't wait to come back soon!
Timothy M — Google review
As we wound our way through the mountains on another weekend adventure, Sunset Hills was a planned stop—and for good reason. We’d been told not to pass it by, and after visiting, we completely understand why. The stunning architecture, built by Amish craftsmen, sets a warm and inviting tone the moment you step inside. Jeff was fantastic—not only sharing thoughtful details about each wine but also taking the time to understand both of our preferences (one dry, one sweet). He made us feel right at home with recommendations tailored to each of us. Beyond the wine, the menu and atmosphere invite you to linger—sip, share stories, and truly soak in the spirit of a weekend getaway. We can’t wait to come back and discover what other delicious wines they’re pouring next. Each one, we’re sure, will be worth every drop.

Staff at this winery are amazing. They make sure that you are well accommodated including if you have a wheelchair. Wine is always good. Would recommend.
Elize H — Google review
We had a great time here in this winery. The staff was really helpful and the wine tasting list was really nice. The bread was also a gem! We arrived a little late in the day so it was not too packed.
Roy C — Google review
The place is beautifully decorated and the outdoors is lovely, with different spots to sit at, a fountain and much greenery. My only complaint is that for $10.60 a glass I got a very little pour. Maybe it was the few sips of samples I tried before I chose that got calculated in, or the fact that the bottle was completed and the bartender didn’t want to open another one, but I feel that I could have get a bit more generous treatment. Food is quite expensive.

I recently hosted a birthday party at Sunset Hills Vineyard at the recommendation of a friend and could not have had a better time! I wanted to write this review to express my gratitude for my unforgettable experience. Even weeks before my event, Aubry handled my reservation graciously and answered my many questions promptly, helping me to secure a dog-friendly spot for about 10-12 guests total. When I finally arrived on the day of the event, I was floored by how picturesque the property was and how warm and inviting the staff was. My friends and I got so many beautiful pictures! I was greeted by Dave, and he showed me to a charming little shady grove area that they had saved for me. The area was large enough to accommodate probably 15-20 people, and off to the side of property to allow for privacy. Throughout our event, Ben and Zenaya checked on us frequently to make sure we were doing alright and accommodated all of our requests. We also had a chance to do the wine tasting inside, and I personally loved all of the wines! There was not a single bad wine we tried in my opinion. Some of the guests that were also there saw us celebrating and even gifted us some bottles for us to enjoy! All in all, I think this will be a birthday I will never forget. THANK YOU! We will definitely be back :)

Sunset Hills Vineyard is one of our favorite places to go. There are a lot of vineyards to visit in Virginia. The wine is good (not saying it is the best), the atmosphere is welcoming, but what separates it from the rest are the staff. You could not find a friendlier group of people at the Ritz Carlton. If you make the effort to visit, you won’t be disappointed.

What an amazing experience and wonderful winery!!!! From the warm welcome and extensive knowledge of the wines from Kelly to the beautiful landscape and view of the mountains and vineyards and the gorgeous barn and the friendliness from Elizabeth and all the staff, everything was absolutely amazing!!! We did the wine taste tour and every wine was exceptional! You can tell this place takes pride and puts love and care into their wines and establishment and customers. After tasting the wines and the great experience with the staff, I immediately joined the wine club and look forward to many more amazing experiences here and with these amazing wines! Please check this place out, you will NOT be disappointed!!! Exceptional experience!!!!

Coney Island Diner offers a delightful dining experience with its generous portions and flavorful dishes. The chicken cordon bleu sandwich, featuring a sizable chicken breast and well-seasoned bun, is a standout choice. Accompanied by delectable fries, the meal is complemented by attentive service from the friendly staff.
Lunch was good. I had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. Huge chicken breast, tasty bun, very well seasoned. Fries were good. Service was good. The waitress kept my water filled and checked back on us twice during the meal.

It comes with a very heavy heart for me to write this review. As someone who grew up in the area between Philadelphia and New York, I can assure you that the food here is mediocre (at best). The breakfast food is especially disheartening. I've eaten here now 4 times for breakfast over a year long period, and it's all just been blah. Definitely not the quality diner food I remember as a child. And the prices........
Adam S — Google review
Great staff friendly however the two times I have been in here the ominous black cloud of an owner has hovered and treated his employees like garbage. The food is blah even by crappie diner standards. The prices are pricey and food inconsistent got the same thing twice and portions varied by at least a 1/3. Debated getting up after I heard the owner ask his female employee if she was an idiot. The employees get 5 stars for putting up with the workplace abuse. Hey owner get a clue we your patrons can hear and see you. We don't want to observe you mistreating a bunch of kids.
Robert H — Google review
We went last night for dinner, this will be our last time going there. Clearly the food is all frozen. We ordered appetizers which were awful and the oil in which the food is fried in tasted like it was the same oil used a week ago. Our waitress didn't seem to want to be there and her cell phone, which was in her pocket, kept going off which is very unprofessional. Silence your phone...Better yet put it down while you are working! This was only the third time we have gone to this restaurant and the last, each time the food and service got worse.
Nancy D — Google review
I would disregard the poor reviews of Coney Island Diner! We came here for a 12pm "breakfast" and had more than enough service. We had three different people check on us, not that our waiter was lacking, but clearly they all work as a team here. The Denver omelette and Irish Benedict were so great- and we highly recommend the mimosas! We will come back for lunch and dinner in the near future. Loved it!
Keryn S — Google review
I was fairly disappointed in my experience this morning. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the menu was okay. It is the typical menu for a diner with other lunch and dinner items available to "up" the offerings. I think it would be fair to call this a "faux diner." That said, I think there were no less than six individuals working the not crowded floor and service left a great deal to be desired. Each time I needed something (be it creamer for my coffee, more coffee, ketchup, etc.) I found myself looking around for someone--anyone--to ask for it. None of these items were ever voluntarily offered. Also, the portions were a little stingy. I ordered something that came with "two pieces of french toast." It did technically live up to that description, but the two pieces were the two halves of one piece of bread. My daughter ordered pancakes. They looked nice but they were very dry.
Paula S — Google review
Just finished a fantastic breakfast! Shelley took great care of us and the eggs were prepared perfectly. All to often at breakfast the egg prep ruins the meal. Not here. They know how to do things right!!
Carolyn S — Google review
At first I was a little worried about trying this place because the reviews used to be really mixed, but I can see that they took the criticism and fixed what people in the past were upset about. The service was wonderful, attentive and friendly, the prices are fair for the amount of food given, and the food tastes home cooked. I recommend giving this place a shot.

Chinese restaurant
Hot Wok has been a beloved destination for Chinese cuisine for over 15 years, thanks to its warm and welcoming owners who consistently whip up mouthwatering dishes. The menu is packed with favorites like the spicy Crispy Beef, delectable dumplings, and savory Moo Goo Gai Pan. Don't miss out on their fried rice options or the tender spare ribs! For those craving comfort food, their soups and Egg Foo Young are delightful choices.
We have been going here for 15 years. The owners are super nice and make amazing food. Crispy Beef is a must- it is spicy 🌶️ FYI Dumplings Moo goo gai pan Any of the fried rice spare ribs Soups Egg Foo Young General TSO’s Sweet and sour pork and chicken Beef and broccoli Spring rolls Egg rolls Shrimp toast Everything on the menu is great!!!

0 Star Overall! I placed my take out order during the lunch hours, between 11am - 3pm, clearly stated on their menu. They do not give an itemized receipt with a breakdown of charges and it wasn’t until after I’d left and paid, I realized I was charged dinner pricing. I called the restaurant and mentioned I ordered during lunch time frame but was charged dinner pricing. The staff started yelling at me and said, “I don’t care; you didn’t specify”. Really disappointing at lack of customer concern and certainly will not be a returning customer.
MM — Google review
This place has changed. Always has been dead on but tonight not so much. No mustard or duck sauce with the egg rolls, no fortune cookies, the General Tso chicken was a big glob, the pancakes for Moo Shi pork were not the same as before, thin and blah, little things but not what I expected from previous visits. I hope they don't turn into Pens.
James F — Google review
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was truly disappointing. We ordered the Egg Foo Young and General Tso's Chicken — both were terrible. The food was extremely greasy, soggy, and lacked any real flavor. It tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. To make matters worse, when I called to politely express my concerns, the manager hung up on me mid-conversation. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. There are too many great Chinese restaurants out there to waste your time or money here. I won’t be ordering again.
Mark P — Google review
I spent $47 on an order that ended up entirely in the trash. The food was completely bland—no flavor, no seasoning, nothing redeeming. Even the egg roll, which should be simple to get right, was soggy and tasteless. To make matters worse, the staff was unprofessional and dismissive when I called to express my concerns. No apology, no attempt to make it right—just attitude. Purcellville you can do better!

Order my meal online. To pickup, im across the street. The guy at the register said. You stupid" no ask for white rice" women stupid..? I told him. NO! READ THE ORDER. after... " I'm sorry you not stupid" ?????? Bad day. Don't treat people how your feeling about yourself.

Restaurant
Purcellville Family Restaurant, also known as "Fran's" to the locals, has been a beloved neighborhood spot for years. Despite its name changes and management transitions, it continues to attract a loyal following. The restaurant offers a casual and friendly dining experience with its old-school diner atmosphere. Known for serving the best breakfast in Purcellville, it is a popular spot for locals to enjoy a country breakfast with friends.
First time visit this past Sunday for lunch. I was impressed with the entire experience. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The facilities (including the restroom) while dated, are very clean and well maintained. The food was terrific. We ordered hamburgers and fries. The prices are quite reasonable. I will definitely be a return customer !
Brad S — Google review
Nice little spot. It's not fancy by any means, but it was exactly what we were looking for. Good food, good prices and a good menu selection. Server was very nice. Only real complaint was my husband asked for over medium eggs and got over easy and I asked for scrambled and they were cooked a little longer than I like.
Caroline B — Google review
Love this place!! The sign in the front is faded & I was a little concerned from the outside appearance. Don’t let that stop you, though. I found them while searching for breakfast and was highly impressed. I got the corned beef hash which came with eggs potatoes & toast. Even after adding an egg the total is around $11/12 which is really good given the portions. The place has that old school diner feel but it’s pretty clean and everyone there is pleasant. I’ll have to try something other than the hash in order to say it’s the best breakfast spot in the area but by what I ordered I’ll definitely be returning!

Chick-fil-A is a beloved fast-food chain that specializes in delicious chicken sandwiches and nuggets, complemented by a variety of salads and sides. Known for its friendly service, many patrons rave about the exceptional experiences they have with staff members who go above and beyond to make their visits memorable. The crispy fries are often highlighted as a favorite side dish, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
I was having a bad day, and went to get chick fil a. I walked in to the establishment and Harrison L was the most amazing employee I’ve ever experienced. His service was exceptional and it made my week! Needs a raise!!!

I have never been so ticked off with a place in my life. I have had multiple problems. They never seem to get my order right I understand that I am only wanting eggs and grilled chicken in my bowl and that’s not technically on the menu however they do have a chicken bowl or on the menu. I’m not sure how hard it is for me to say I only want eggs and grilled chicken with extra grilled chicken but no, they put cheese in it. No extra chicken or I get hashbrowns sometimes with no extra chicken and no cheese. They can never seem to get it right. I’ve called multiple times they do nothing about it. For instance today I went and I said I want just a bowl with scrambled eggs, grilled chicken extra grilled chicken so very simple I put it and I get scrambled eggs cheese chicken with no extra chicken 10 out of 10 do not recommend Chick-fil-A in Purcellville

There is a rumor that the ownership changed here and I believe it because this place is nothing like it used to be. I feel so bad for the amazing employees who probably take the brunt of unhappy customers when it’s not their fault. Do NOT come here if you need to be somewhere at a certain time or don’t have 30 minutes to wait. Every time we come here the wait is so long now that we get stuck in line and there is no turning back. Today we waited 20 minutes before even getting to order and they had stopped serving breakfast while we were waiting. I do not typically leave negative reviews unless it’s really bad, and this place is really bad.
Rachel H — Google review
Longest ticket times I've ever experienced at any CFA establishment. They're truly atrocious. I worked in a CFA kitchen for a bit and it was bad if our times were ever longer than a minute or two. The drive thru goes about the pace of an elderly sloth with MS. Save yourself the trouble and just go to Jersey Mike's or something. Or take a trip to Leesburg where they actually run a tight ship.
Henry B — Google review
I would at least check every time you pick up your order. Unfortunately, they do mess it up 3 times out of 5. They also never ever feel sorry and offer any kind of apologize. So if you are okay to travel 20 minutes back and forth, trying to collect all of your food-go for it. Today they decided to give me avocado ranch dressing with kids mean, when I ordered a salad... oh well

Great food, quick and easy.. friendly staff. The fries were cooked perfectly and nice and crispy - a bit pricey in my opinion but so is everything these days.

Drive thru equipment has been broken for almost 2 years. Operator doesn’t seem to care to fix anything. The exterior building sign doesn’t light up anymore and hasn’t for years. Always painfully slow service. Overall, get a very lazy vibe from here. Nothing like other Chick-fil-A’s and just overall seems like a lack of pride in the store and Chick-fil-A brand.

So went in after doing work to get food for me and step dad. Ordered then went to sit, I followed two other ladies and sat right by them. The cashiers brought food to several people and walked past me several times, I was wearing a bright colored shirt not hard to miss. They did not call my name or bring my food they just sat it on the shelf and left it there so after half an hour of sitting and waiting I went up where she just points over at the food. At this point several people came in after me and got their food it was walked to them every time. So I am extremely irritated because 0 effort was made to find me and it was just sat there for god knows how long. First time and last time coming here.
