If you're a fan of eerie and unsettling tales or activities, make sure to add a visit to the Frightmare Compound in Westminster, CO to your itinerary. Established in 1983 as Denver's first haunted house, this spooky attraction was designed by Brad Holder to be one of the most terrifying haunted houses in Colorado. Since its inception, it has become a popular destination for thrill-seekers looking for a good scare.
Best haunted house I've been to in a long time! You can feel the love and effort they poured into this set. Incredible scenes, amazing actors and super nice staff. (Not to mention the cute dog at the ticket office!) I'm still buzzing from the adrenaline. The prices are definitely fair for the time spent in the haunted house as well. It was a very good length. Most haunted houses, you run into the other guests within minutes. The guests behind us caught up to us only at the very end, so great spacing. Thank you ALL for the work you put into this place. My husband and I will be back next year, and hopefully with friends!

We went here super excited, we expected too much! It was okay. super short haunted house for the prices a little sad about that still. We heard great things so we paid extra to skip the line I regret that, save money just wait in line. However I will say there was some cool scenery definitely unique almost too pretty. Alot of hazardous boards and things watch your steps for sure, so beware. Make to watch your surroundings, your head and feet. There is alittle museum at the end where u can take photos as well that was pretty cool.
Erica E — Google review
This is our ALL TIME FAVORITE haunted house to go to if I could give it 10 stars I would. Love that it is family owned and try to support it every yr. Always a fantastic job with all the props, details and characters! I highly recommend going to this, you will not regret it!

First timer. Brought my 12 year old, cause that's what a good parent does. I took up the back of the group... big mistake. Moved to the front of the group instead, but didn't last long there. I wish I had more time to admire the sets and details, but you don't want to linger. My group moved lightning fast through this. We might have set a speed record. Definitely will come back with more people to surround me for safety. Excited to make this a yearly tradition.

Had an absolutely amazing time here end September 👻👻👻😱😱😱 Stopped here on our 2 month USA ROAD TRIP from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 My daughter and I were absolutely terrified! 😨 😅 😬 Never ran so fast in my life lol! Jumpscares at every turn....barely time to catch our breaths...🥵🥵🥵😆😆😆 Honestly so well done, you can 💯 tell the amount of time, effort & hard work that went into organising this whole event. All the actors were awesome really played their parts to a 'T' and the sound of those chainsaws....OMG they put the fear of God into us!😱😱😱😨😨😨 Met some of the organisers after the show in the museum, they were amazing, so friendly and chatty, knew we were coming from Scotland as I'd previously been chatting with Josh to organise tickets etc. Gave us both really cool complementary T-Shirts and a cracking Frightmare Christmas Bauble so cute 😍 😀 😊 Just done the Las Vegas Universal Horror Unleashed and whilst it was fab...the scares not a patch on F.C. never seen them coming with F.C. Epic night! Thanks so much for having us both. ..😘😁😘 Much love, Patzee & Eden xxx 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿😎😎😎

Amazing time tonight! Costumes, props and environment were very cool! Loved the experience. First time coming to the FC and had so much fun. I have followed them on YouTube for a while now and was very excited to see the swamp scene. Very impressive and great scares. Loved every second. Wish I could go through more times.
Michael H — Google review
Absolutely incredible experience! The attention to detail, costumes, and makeup were top-notch, and the actors really committed to every scare. The sets were immersive from start to finish — every turn had something unexpected. The line moved quickly, staff were friendly and organized, and the whole attraction had such great energy. Perfect balance of fun and terrifying! Definitely one of the best haunted houses I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend visiting if you want a true Halloween thrill!
Miranda H — Google review
What an amazing experience, if we could give a 10 star we would!! From start to finish I was scared and it is not easy to scare us! At one point I pulled my husband close and said “babe please don’t let go of me I am really scared”, we are people that do horror all year long, go to 3-5 haunted house a year, & watch scary movies often… so that is saying something to EVERYONE!! The actor on that elevator is one that stood out to me, locking eyes with me, with what felt like an eternity, to just to pull the lever so the floor shook beneath us! The contortionists bending their bodies following us around telling us how they would eat us… followed the creepy animal faced actors & clicking noises everywhere. All to end with a fridge opening and a woman jumping out “I think it would be best if we got you to have a heart attack before I fed on you”… will we be back, h*ll yes we will!!! Marissa even took time out of her evening to talk to us about the history of the haunted house, making us feel included in a different way! The museum is an amazing addition to this haunt with photo opportunities that make the evening more memorable & help you understand the year-round work that goes into creating nightmares! We don’t purchase merchandise unless we love an event, we left with a sweatshirt tonight! We have been to this haunt multiple times, tonight you made a life long lover of the Carrigan’s! We went to the lightsout event tonight (November 8th) and it was more amazing then when we went the first time, I did not think that was possible!!! The actors were better this time around & hidden so well the jump scares were none stop! We screamed from start to finish! Epic!!!! We can’t wait to be back next year!!!!

Shopping mall
Westminster Promenade is a bustling complex featuring a variety of dining options, bars, a Westin hotel, a 24-screen cinema, and even a bowling alley. This outdoor shopping village and family center offers entertainment such as an ice skating rink, ice cream shops, fountains for play, and access to the nearby Butterfly Pavilion and insect zoo. While it's more focused on activities than shopping, there are additional shops at the Walnut Creek shopping center just across the highway.
Really love living in a brand new home with no bad MOJO 😌 Good location, gym absolutely amazing and staff is wonderful. Love my view. Living here has been great! With the fire alarms going off due to people smoking in the garge with a non-smoking building that has stopped now. Fire Marshell verified this issue!!

We had a gathering at Bender's. The whole area by it and the Westin is beautiful! It's really cool to have the hockey arena attached to the restaurant!

Honestly this IMAX is better than the flat iron crossing one, the screen is larger and theres many showings due to the great amount of screens this theater has! Good AMC for sure.

The seats were awesome, i really regret my movie choice. That I had attended with friends. But the theater itself was immaculate, and above and beyond most other places.I've ever been.

I love this place. Ive been going here since I was in high school. So I guess that means I've been going there for thirty years. The staff are always very professional and always try to make their patrons comfortable. I am there every week and this movie theater has always been very much a home aways from home for me. A big thank you for every one of the staff there that make my movie going experience awesome every time.
John Q — Google review
The theater was clean, and our food was ready pretty quickly. I ordered a pretzel and received the Bavarian Ledgend. I just asked for a pretzel! It was delicious but it is huge! 1.5 pounds! So I took most of it home. I took a star away because I don't think their AC was working. It was really hot in the theater. This is something that really does need to be addressed.

Clean Fun walkable. Great for a nice evening. Lots of venues to choose from. Parking was good. Overall nice place

Perfect place for kids and adults! Glow in the dark golfing, arcades, pool, various beer selections, the only thing I'd say is the pizzas could be better.

Dave & Buster's in Westminster is a popular family-friendly spot offering a sports-bar-style setting for American food and arcade games. With over 100 trending and fun arcade games, the venue provides a safe environment for families to enjoy quality time together. The Million Dollar Midway offers plenty of prizes to win, adding excitement to the gaming experience. The menu includes grill food and there are options for healthier items as well.
My son and I played games at D n B for an hr and half for like $30. Kick ass!! We won some cool prizes for our daughter/sister (see photo)

Dave & Buster’s is basically a casino for kids—with all the lights, sounds, and some of the same heartbreak. My kids love it, and I get it: there’s plenty of fun to be had. But too many games are held together by duct tape and hope. Card scanners don’t always work, the basketball game took my credits but had no balls, the bowling sim fed me a ball long after the timer ended, and the Marvel game ran out of cards entirely. The Cyberpunk shooter felt like it was firing BBs at random speeds for comedy effect. Add in water-stained ceiling tiles, and the place could definitely use some love. My kids walk away thrilled every time, but I just can’t seem to look past the flaws—that’s why I leave this one conflicted.

Nothing works here! Came here last night and legit at least 40-50% games were not working, not even exaggerating. Never seen so many reds anywhere, and even bunch of the greens just took your money and gave an error message on the screen. So frustrating. Two stars because the bartender was awesome.
Alexandra E — Google review
Every time I came to this location there's never been anybody in front. The servers take about 5 to 10 minutes to even welcome you or take your drink order. The food is at least decent. Games are okay I think they have a better selection at the other location. Service in the Toy department sucks, I guess that's what happens when you have kids run it. I stood in line while obviously the person in front of me was having an issue with the computer they had to call a manager that's fine. There was a little kid that just kept jumping in front of me like I wasn't in line his dad told him multiple times that I was ahead of him. The child got the attention of the employee told him what he wanted and handed him his card. Of course the employee took care of the child and completely ignored the fact that I was next. Then proceeded to take care of somebody else he let in front of me also. Then just said he was sorry, without a chair in the world. I come to Dave & Buster's office to celebrate my child's achievements of school. At least a couple times a month, doubtful that I'll be returning to this location.

We really enjoy the ambience at Dave & Buster’s. The food is pretty good and the gaming environment is always clean and well kept. Every now and then you get a machine that malfunctioning, but the technicians are very happy to give you a refund or additional credits on another device.

Service at the front door was not it at this location. Inexperienced, unwelcoming & lack of communication by the young lady. Most games were in working order! Bar tender was great & we enjoyed her service! The raspberry tea was delicious 😋 my kiddos & nephew got icees! Upon leaving a different young lady was awesome! We didn't eat this time around!
M G — Google review
The nachos had no cheese, the waiters took forever, and the burgers were dry. Really not worth the money spent. Smaller selection of games compared to other game arcades.
LilPockets T — Google review
So many broke games, even when complained about a few taking money but not working was not compensated. Spent 200$ for two people. Swear the games was overcharging. At every level, disappointed. We were there for only 3 hours. Just was a poor experience in all areas of service.

Barbecue restaurant
GQue BBQ in Westminster offers a modern and trendy dining experience with top-notch hickory-smoked barbecue. The menu features a wide variety of options including wings, ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and more. The restaurant also serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an airy industrial-style space. GQue Championship BBQ is known for its well-prepared barbeque dishes such as pork, turkey, jalapeno cheddar sausage, USDA Prime brisket, and chicken wings.
Really good bbq, G-Que is quickly becoming one of my favorite bbq 🍖 places! Highly recomend the pulled pork as well as the beef brisket, both are super tasty! Another thing that’s nice about their Thornton location is that they have a mini ice cream parlor if you like dessert. Another nice feature is that there is a mini bat for those who like having a couple adult beverages with their bbq. All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anybody that likes great bbq! That’s being a winner baby!!! 👏👏👏

$25 for mash potatoes green beans and what they call a link of sausage! No way am I going back at these prices. Portions are small, food was just average for bbq. Better place to eat at that price. At least fill up the tray you serve it in…

Love this place! The staff is wonderful! The food phenomenal! The reward system and giving back to the community is beyond what I have ever seen at any restaurant. I have gotten the most free food here than all the restaurants I’ve been to my whole 40 year old life combined. I always take out of town visitors there to eat. They are the best!! All locations I’ve been to. Thanks!!!!

A McRib beats this place 10 out of 10. Ive heard you have to try something 7 times to know if you like it. Well this is number 4 and every time is a 1. 1 on price. 1 on quality. 1 of tenderness. 1 everything. They couldnt pay me to take it.

Ordered GQue catering for about 25 people for a birthday party at my home. Online ordering was easy, and I was able to call and add more to my order a couple of days before my event without any trouble. Catering was just as delicious as eating in the restaurant and was a fair price. Would highly recommend GQue catering for your next event/party!

Best on the plate was the garlic mashed potatoes. The slaw was Virginian style. Vinegary based. Had good flavor. On Proteins- BBQ had a good looking smoke ring on the brisket, however, the meat dry that day and the smoke point wasn’t as strong as it showed. The Sausage link was top choice 👍🏻 and if we are in the area again, that will be my solid choice. Overall value of the plate, it was pricier than the quality this day. They have a good foundation for growth. Wish them the best! ❤️.

Once again, enjoyed this delicious BBQ! The pulled pork or ribs are our usual go to but last night I was thrilled with the loaded baked potato option ~ creamy cheese sauce, choice of meat along with bacon and a bit of sour cream 😋 absolutely scrumptious! Please keep it on your menu??

We've been ordering delivery from the Westminster location since they opened. Today was incredibly disappointing. No BBQ sauce, minimal cheese in mac n cheese (basically cooked noodles) & we paid $22 for the quart! No bark on the brisket and the beans were watery. Turkey and sausage slayed as always. $130, and we're not happy. I guess you lose the quality when you open multiple locations. 🤔 So disappointed.

Thai restaurant
Tuk Tuk Thai Bistro in Westminster offers innovative presentations of tasty Thai cuisine in an elegant dining area. However, some customers have noticed smaller portions and unchanged prices, which is disappointing. Despite this, one customer had a positive experience when they contacted the restaurant and received a full and delicious Panang curry dish delivered to their door.
Stopped in for a quick bite before a movie. It’s been a few years since we had visited this place, but the quality hasn’t changed. Service seemed a little more focused on take out, bit food was really good.

Visiting Denver from hundreds of miles away, googled for restaurants, and was intrigued by this Thai restaurant. We stopped by before closing time and ordered take out. Service was excellent. Fatima was the one to take our order, she gave great recommendations off of the menu, and was very patient even with us customizing some orders. We ended up getting chicken pad Thai and boss chicken, pad Thai was really delicious, the boss chicken itself was too. Only pity was that the take out rice that comes with boss chicken is too firm/hard. Other than that, would 10/10 recommend the place.

They remodeled this restaurant, and I love how casual it is. You can go up to the counter to order food, then sit down to eat and relax. I highly recommend that you all go check this place out; it is very, very good. Also, a shout-out to the open kitchen where you can actually watch your food being cooked.

One of the best Thai restaurant I have ever had! I ordered three times in four days. The basil chicken, fried shrimp pineapple rice and the classic Pad Thai is all very good. The restaurant is next to a construction site might be not easy to find. But luckily the construction will be over around December.

Good food and reasonably priced They have been here for a while and have great service. The staff is really nice.We always get in right away and it doesn't take long for the food to come out. They are dealing wit the construction going on at the Promanade. It is well worth the trip there though.Great place to have dinner or lunch before you catch a movie at the amc 24.

Great Thai place. Will probably be back. We ordered the Pad Thai (Of course), Khaw Soy, and the fried chicken. All three were absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was white meat but extremely moist. I did not get a picture of the Khaw Soy but it was savory with a hint of sweet. Will have to try more off the menu next time.

My soon-to-be mother-in-law surprised us with a gift card to 𝘽𝙅'𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 & 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙚, so my fiancé and I decided to check it out! I ordered the Cherry Chipotle Glazed Salmon, and wow... it was absolutely delicious! The pearl couscous that paired with it was a first for me, and I was stunned by the pleasant taste! Although I was pretty full by the end of the meal, we could not resist trying the Spooky Pizookie for dessert. It was dangerously good... I couldn't put my spoon down at all. Usually good experiences here. Ordered take out the other night. Was SHOCKED to see a 6 inch pizza for $18.00. Side of fries for $4.99 was also pathetic. We will not be back.

Workers are pretty moderate here but the food is surely a surprise. I have gotten to go, this time but I have eaten inside a few times before. Not only did I get scraps, there was also an orange slice in my caeser salad dressing. Oranges do not go into the salad I got btw. Ridiculous for a $25.00 salad. Additionally, there was a small white piece of plastic in my salad?? Also did not get the crackers that were supposed to come with the soup. (Obviously, this is the least of the problem. It’s good to know that nobody competent works here).

I don’t normally write bad reviews. My girlfriend and I went here because it was close to our hotel and the parking lot had several cars for a Sunday night so we figured it must be a decent place to eat. Service was good, we did wait over an hour for our food but it was fairly busy. I ordered the steak “medium” with mushrooms, blue cheese, steamed broccoli and the cheddar mashed potatoes. My girlfriend ordered the tortilla soup and we split the spinach artichoke dip. The spinach artichoke dip was ok, good enough but nothing special. My steamed broccoli was still crunchy, with no seasoning. Chewy like wood, the mushrooms looked like they were from a can. And I like canned mushrooms. But these tasted horrible, they seemed to have something wrong with them. So I scraped them off. Also the blue cheese was an added charge and it hardly had any on it. And what was there had no flavor. When I cut into my medium steak, I could hardly saw through it, to discover it was gray, all the way through. And looked like it had been that way for hours. It was basically shoe leather. The cheese and garlic mashed potatoes were ok. My girlfriend’s tortilla soup was also just ok also. The only thing we had that was good was the water. I did get 1/2 my meal comped. Which I only ate half of it anyway. So I still paid for what I ate. 1/2 a 6oz mini steak, 2 pieces of broccoli and some potatoes. They did offer to remake the steak but it had been a long day and it was 8pm. I didn’t feel like waiting around any longer. Then with that half eaten dinner I had severe stomach pain till about 3am. I would not recommend the food.

Ordered the avocado egg rolls and children's pan pizza for carry-out. I'm not sure what happened to the egg rolls but they were very sad looking. It looked like they had been dropped on the floor & then put in the to-go box. The wrappers were not crispy at all except for a few of the ends, which were somehow overcooked and burnt. At nearly $17 these were completely overpriced. The kids deep dish pizza was also unfortunately a letdown. The topping were very bland and the crust was soggy and greasy. This is the first time I had gotten food here on several years and it used to be really good but it appears that the prices have gone up and quality has gone down :(

We are from New Orleans and were in town for a wedding. We loved this place. It was packed but in a good way. Great atmosphere. Family friendly. Staff was EXCELLENT (Alex was our waiter). Food was excellent. Drinks were great! Took our time. Relaxed. Really enjoyed it.

We called ahead our party of 6 to be added to the waitlist. There was a longer wait which is to be expected on a Saturday at dinner time. The appetizers took quite a long time to arrive; one was chips and salsa and the other was fried pickles. All the server said was they were too busy. These were skimpy in amounts especially for cost and comparison to other locations. I ordered a burger and was asked how I preferred it cooked; I said medium and it came burnt. We ordered a pizookie; it also took a lot of time and came burnt. Then we were charged for our child's beverage when the kid's menu specifically states "Alternative beverages available at no cost." We got lemonade instead of soda... While it is only a dollar, every dollar adds up to a small family and how does that really benefit the server or the restaurant overall? Summary- very costly for a poor meal

Ordered a couple appetizers, a salad (seasonal, suggested by the wait staff), and a buffalo ribs entree. The cauliflower was cooked to perfection with some crunch. The strawberry/goat cheese salad was a little bit disappointing in that some of the spinach leaves were near wilting. The buffalo sliders and ribs were perfect. I didn't like the taste of buffalo before but they are able to cook it in a way that make it tasty.

Perfectly cooked bison filet. I chose the roasted broccoli and mashed potatoes with gravy. I wish I had gone with another side, not a fan of the mashed potatoes. Otherwise it was delicious!

Actually surprised with the portion sizes. Pickles were ok. The wedge salad was not crispy, enjoyed the toppings. Homemade chips dipped in ranch was pretty good. Very pleased with the steaks. Cheese cake best eaten at the restaurant and not taken home.

Gathered here with some work friends for lunch. Emily took great care of us. The bison meatloaf hit the spot, and the other burgers looked amazing. The chips and dip were a perfect starter.

We went to Ted’s for the Bison Rib Eye. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. We were seated and served quickly. The atmosphere is nice and the staff/servers are friendly. It was a great experience.

We had a great experience! I feel so bad I can't remember our servers name but he was awesome. We came in late with our 3 kids, it was everyone's first time except for mine. My husband has never even been. We ordered the housemade chips and the ranch was DELICIOUS, our server even made sure to get us another basket when my kids inhaled the first one. Everyone was absolutely satisfied with their choices which is unusual for my kids! We had a great time!

Pretty mid experience overall. Ordered the bison steak med-rare and it came out a little less cooked than rare (even for bison) and barely seasoned - and then were gaslit when we asked to have it cooked closer to what we asked for. We also had a burger that was maybe a 3/5, nothing special.

WOW. I went in with high expectations, and they were still blown out of the water! Went with a friend to treat ourselves. The food was absolutely impeccable, the service was top notch, and the atmosphere was quite lovely. We shared the crab cakes as an appetizer, each had a drink, entree, and a dessert. The meats were cooked to perfection and the flavors were so good we felt like we were in heaven. Our server, Chris, was fantastic, very helpful, and gave us great recommendations. Even the owner was there, making sure we had everything we needed. Needless to say, we had absolutely no complaints and we will definitely be returning!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was a great experience overall. The service was fantastic and the food was divine. We were so full from our meal that we didn't want dessert, but our server made sure we had some to take home since it was our anniversary. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very quiet and romantic. Looking forward to eating here again.

So amazing & delicious! Came here for my 9th Anniversary and literally everything was perfect from the service to the food! There even was a little Anniversary card on our table upon arrival. Shout out to our server Chris and his trainee Morgan! The Biscotti Mousse is to die for! Thank you Hideaway we will definitely be back!

Food is excellent. The atmosphere makes me think of a cozy mountain evening. The waiters are well informed and kind. I ordered something I ended up not liking and they were quick to fix it and I’m very grateful.

Great service and the steak NY steak was spot on, as if I were to cook one myself from home. The sear was on point with a nice crust. Medium rare as ordered also. Everything was excellent! Typically I hate steak restaurants in general because they're overpriced for a 1/4" piece of meat that was probably halved for bigger profit margins. I know I can pan sear a better steak or grill a better one on the grill than a lot of these chain restaurants. You really get what you pay for here at Hideaway. I'd rather save up and dine here than make a last minute dinner plan to a chain restaurant. This will definitely not be the last time I come here. The staff was very professional and was very tentative to what we needed. A overall great experience for our date night.

I have gone here a few times now. It is very elegant with jazz music playing and A Plus service. So all of the food is good and some is divine. To be honest my least favorite things have been the steak and crab legs. The soup, salads, sides desserts and drinks have all been fantastic. This time I had a nima. Ranch center cut. It was a bit more raw than I hoped for; then it was a bit tough. It was good though. The crab legs were good but I'm not sure they were that great. The shell was soft and the meat seemed dried out a bit. I'm not complaining but I'm doubting I'll order it again. Anyhow, the prime rib on Tuesdays is great. The filet salad at lunch is great. Go and enjoy. There are so many options to customize. Go for it! I almost forgot. Desserts here are sublime. The cheese cake of the day and the creme brulee are fantastic!

100 out of 100!!! It's truly a perfect fine dining spot. Been here 3 times and The service is always incredible. The GM came to our table and welcomed us, and Chris was on point with the recommendation and substituted my meal with the cherry glaze. Please, please get the cherry glaze on anything you order. It's so dreamy with real cherries. The drinks were delicious and the food was Majestic. Highly recommend hideaway!!!
