Nature & Parks
Peace Valley Park is a serene outdoor destination spanning over 1,500 acres and surrounding the picturesque 365-acre Lake Galena. The park offers various recreational activities such as boating rentals, children's playgrounds, and numerous walking and hiking trails. Visitors can enjoy wildlife watching opportunities along the six-mile loop trail around the lake or explore the 14 miles of nature trails through woodlands and meadows at the eastern end of Lake Galena.
Beautiful place. Kayak and paddleboat rektale. Nice trails to walk, ride bike and run etc. Nice picnic areas for families and playing games. Very kid friendly..
Rush J — Google review
A great place to take your family, and there are plenty of amazing birds to see! (ex. double-crested cormorant, ring-billed gull, tree swallow, bank swallow, chimney Swift, great blue heron, northern cardinal, Canada Goose, etc.)
Gem T — Google review
One of the nicest parks in the Bucks County Area, has a great six mile trail that goes around a lake, and there’s a gift shop/exhibit about halfway around where you can stop to look around and take a breather! Perfect place to get your exercise and enjoy nature!
James K — Google review
Such a beautiful and peaceful place to walk. The beauty of the water along the whole way around and just such beauty in nature in itself.
Amy D — Google review
Great park with plenty of space for picnics, trail walking, running, biking, fishing and bbqs. One of the few spots with large water in the area.
Shawn R — Google review
The 6 Mile trail loop around the lake is perfect either walking, jogging or on your bike!
John C — Google review
A Hidden Gem of Peace and Beauty Peace Valley Park truly lives up to its name—peace. Anybody who has been here knows its undeniable charm. The six-mile loop around the lake is simply stunning, offering changing views with every turn: sparkling water, whispering trees, and open skies that make you want to linger just a little longer. This is not just a place to walk—it’s a place to breathe. You’ll see people paddle boarding, kayaking, or canoeing across the calm water, families picnicking under the trees, dogs happily trotting along the paths, and friends laughing as they take in the view. It’s both lively and serene, a perfect balance. Practical amenities like clean public bathrooms, plentiful parking, and well-kept picnic areas make it an easy and comfortable visit. And for dog lovers, it’s a joy to share the trails with your furry friend. If you’re looking for a spot that offers natural beauty, exercise, relaxation, and a sense of calm all in one, Peace Valley Park is a must-visit. Whether you’re walking, paddling, or simply sitting by the water, you’ll leave feeling refreshed and renewed.
Lesia P — Google review
This park was beautiful and so peaceful. There were many people there, but no music blasting or anyone being disrespectful in any way. It was so nice to see and so quiet. The only suggestion I have would be for there to be more and visible signage for the different pavilions. I went for a Celebration of Life and I feel this was the perfect place for it to be held. We just weren't sure if we were walking up to the correct pavilion.

It's one of the best places to have a peaceful trip. Quite time and solemn. It's technically on the top of the mountain. Yes, there's a lot of people coming, but because it's an open space and no neighboring commercial areas or houses around or nearby, that's why it's a great time to have a moment of dedications.
Mace M — Google review
I visited the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown, PA a significant shrine for the Polish-American community in the U.S. As this year is a Holy Year, the site serves as a pilgrimage site for those who cannot make it to Rome. The shrine was dedicated in 1966. It features a replica of the Black Madonna icon; the original is in the Jasna Góra Monastery in Poland which I have been lucky enough to visit! Although the building itself is not particularly beautiful, the two giant stained glass walls are magnificent as are the altars of the main church and the chapel.
Francine L — Google review
We visited on the Polish festival day; very crowded but extremely well organized. Food was delicious, although there could be better options for vegans, and people from ticket desk to the restaurant were very, very nice. It is worth visiting on regular days, to learn about the Polish community and also for a prayer
Cristina P — Google review
Our Lady of Czestochowa is a truly beautiful shrine—peaceful and welcoming, with many serene places to pray and reflect. The Polish and Slavic festival is wonderfully organized, filled with vibrant traditions, heartfelt community spirit, and rich cultural heritage. A truly special place to visit.
Stephanie — Google review
Great and impressive religious place, but the closed bathrooms during large gatherings is no bueno. (Even though they claimed it was for security, as president was there). Also the prices during the picnic are outragegous. The food in the cafeteria is good, but the lines are little bit long. Church is beautiful and the nature settings around are very pleasant...
Martin W — Google review
Huge facility. Great staff. Beautiful chapels. Incredible monuments.
Anthony C — Google review
I had a wonderful experience visiting this National Shrine. Attended the 2:30 PM Holy Mass for Sunday once, it was deeply reverent and peaceful. The choir and liturgy were beautiful, and the entire atmosphere invited prayer and reflection. The grounds are serene and well-kept. Whether you’re visiting for Mass, confession, or quiet time, it’s a truly special place that lifts your heart toward God. Highly recommend a visit! 🙏✨

Shopping mall
Doylestown Shopping Center is conveniently located just 5 minutes from the heart of Bucks County, offering a variety of shopping and dining options. While reservations are not always necessary, they are highly recommended for popular spots like the Sunday brunch or fine dining on busy Friday nights. The center features a new shopping destination with a wide range of offerings including clothing, handbags, housewares, gifts, and more. Visitors can enjoy a unique shopping experience with helpful staff and a friendly atmosphere.
This is a large shopping center located on Main Street in Doylestown. Plenty of parking and features to main stores an Acme and a Target which I was told by an employee they don't have a public restroom which I find to be ridiculous. The Acme and Target are both spacious. There is a Wendy's on one end and a Burger King on the other. There is also a Mexican themed restaurant. They had a Staples a pet store and a home goods store. One stop shopping for the locals.
Ken B — Google review
If you're running into the Staples for ink/toner... even the folks at Staples will tell you to check the Target across the parking lot for better prices. Service at Staples is superlative. Prices at Target are better for most things.
Pamela H — Google review
Very nice shopping center!! It’s cute and quaint. It doesn’t have a lot of parking but enough I guess to accommodate as needed. I stopped in FWGS and I enjoyed this location due to their overwhelming selection of bourbon. Staff was absolutely helpful in searching for what I needed. I highly recommended coming here if you’re searching for a wider selection of spirits.
Ny B — Google review
Acme & Target are. I usually don't shop at Acme unless it's really convenient and I need to save time. I think their prices are too high. On the other hand, Target is here. I love Target and don't shop here frequently enough. I have a circle membership and love that they deliver. They have a grocery area that has a good variety of products (food, drinks, dairy and other refrigerated items, etc).
Sharon V — Google review
All stores and restaurants are very busy and that's all day long. The parking lot layout with accesses and exits are a little challenging at times, which makes it interesting to say the least. Keep an open mind while looking for a parking spot. Watch the pedestrians, they don't look first, they seem to just walk out into the throughway totally oblivious to their surroundings .

Recently, I had an Amazon order to return. Staples has office and school supplies as well as most tech you could possibly need for you home, office or compact, but the 1 service I just learned about is their a Amazon return center. After you complete the online return, all you have to do is bring the item in without a bag or packaged and show then the code Amazon provided. They do the rest. I also visited Acme. It's a nice and clean grocery store. They have a solid bakery, seafood and butcher. It's a nice place to do your weekly shopping.

The Hattery Stove & Still is a charming restaurant located in Doylestown, offering a blend of vintage charm and modern culinary delights. Situated in a historic 19th-century building, the restaurant boasts an antique-industrial decor that sets the stage for a unique dining experience. The menu features creative American tavern fare with a contemporary twist, showcasing carefully crafted dishes and handcrafted cocktails.
Practically perfect. Food was excellent. Surf and turf was excellent. Good beer selection. Service was attentive. Ambience is classy but not still casual and not uptight at all. I love this place. The only downside is the menu doesn't have much of a selection, but at least it seems like everything on it is really good.

A great find. Nice staff, great food, relaxed quaint, turn of the century vibe. Lots of wood, brass, and a plethora of chandeliers! It is connected to the Doylestown Inn. Nice beer selection, with sparkling wine on tap. The wine list is small but well curated. Will need to visit again.

This is a quaint, charming restaurant in the heart of Doylestown. The menu isn't huge but definitely has something for everyone. My friends made good health choices (of which there are many options). I went for banana fosters French Toast. Everyone was very pleased with their food.

Great place to start or finish your day in Doylestown. The Hattery Stove & Still is in the Doylestown Inn whate we stayed for the weekend. Super friendly staff and great drinks and food. Breakfast was one of are favorite's. Stop by for a drink or tidbit while walking and shopping in town. Will definitely be back for more great food and atmosphere!!!

This evening I went to dinner at this restaurant with three other friends, we ordered two sodas upon other food and they gave us root beer when we asked for Dr Pepper. My friend ordered mac & cheese, and it was horrible and for the cherry on top at the end of our dining experience the waitress came back with my money from the check and even after leaving a good and generous tip from all of us she slammed my check right in front of me and said abruptly “next time go to McDonald’s” I found this extremely rude and will not be going back.
Hadley — Google review
The ambiance is delightful and the food is pretty good. Quaint little spot on the main thoroughfare inside the old hotel. The staff was friendly but seemed to be a little inattentive during our visit. The biscuits and gravy starter was spectacular. The serving size was perfect, and the gravy was particularly well seasoned. We had Huevos Rancheros which were well proportioned, but the black bean mole was a bit overpowering at times. We also ordered the pork belly Cubano which was overall not bad, but could definitely have improved with a little more acidity from some added mustard. Worth a trip in for sure.

Empanada Mama is a cozy counter-serve spot that specializes in creative empanadas, inspired by the owner's time in Buenos Aires. The business quickly gained popularity and now has its own storefront due to its huge fan base. Empanada Mama offers an ever-changing menu of both sweet and savory hand-pies with unique fillings like Korean beef, Mexican street corn, loaded baked potato, and more.
Our favorite place in all of Doylestown! Order to-go or enjoy them at the picnic tables on a nice day. I love how the flavors rotate, so there is always something new and delicious to try. Make sure to get the Korean Beef (with Asian dipping sauce) and the cocoa caramel bars if it’s your first visit!
Shannon B — Google review
The Chipotle Chicken Empanadas are so flavorful and good. They sold out of the Buffalo Chicken ones when I got there. The Chipotle Aioli is also good. Walk up window only, no seating. Pay cash and get the sauce for free.
Tiffany C — Google review
The empanadas are good. I like how they are fresh. We tried corn and samosa in vegetarian, I think samosa was a bit bland but having it with chipotle aioli makes up for it. We also tried buffalo chicked and bacon w dates. Good option for a quick snack. no seating
Rachita S — Google review
We like this place but find it can be inconsistent. Korean beef is really good. Mushroom when available is really good. Mexican corn good too. I’ve had bad luck with the shredded chicken ones. Pepper jack chicken and Chimichurri chicken tonight were basically just pastry. Nothing much inside. Tasted like thick crusty pastry. I wish they looked like the photos.
Richard — Google review
Empanada Mama is such a fun spot! They have so many unique empanada options plus a variety of sauces to go with them. Everything we tried was flavorful and delicious—definitely a place worth visiting if you’re craving something different and tasty.
Kristin — Google review
It pains me to have to rate a one star but after the service I received today, it was only fitting. I placed over a $100 order online to be delivered. When I got the order half of the empanadas I ordered were totally not the flavors I ordered. When I contacted the store, they told me they couldn’t find my order, and had another employee try to find the order. After several minutes, the order was found. I confirmed what I was missing and what I received. I was told by the girl working that they “weren’t sure if I could get a refund”. At that point I requested to speak with a manager. I was then told there was no manager on shift and someone would contact me tomorrow. I don’t understand how this mistake could’ve even happened. As someone who’s worked in customer service and the food business, orders should be checked for quality and to ensure the order is accurate to what was placed. There should also be a manager on shift or on call when issues like this arise. The only reason I placed the order was because the bacon and date was available, which is my favorite. The fact they didn’t give us ANY of the 6 bacon and date ordered, along with other substituted flavors, is very upsetting.
Meg S — Google review
These are the best empanadas ever. The crust was truly amazing. It was a little tricky to find being located in a building behind the actual address. I would definitely recommend searching this place out and will definitely go again when in the area. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well.

It’s a true pub with typical pub fare. We did the salmon platter and some burgers. All good. The sides are exceptional: macaroni and cheese, onion rings and sweet potato fries. It’s a huge place and would be great for corporate-type events. Plenty of parking and tables.

We found this great restaurant on our way back from the shore. As soon as I came through the entrance,I knew that the atmosphere was spot on.. they did a great job designing and building this restaurant. All of the tables and the bar were very clean. The food and service were incredible and the happy workers had us feeling very welcome. I had a Philly cheese steak which tasted awesome. The roll was just right and the cheesy steak was seasoned to perfection. There were over 30 beers to choose from, many from local breweries in Pennsylvania. Kyle was our server and his service was great. He was very attentive and kept checking in on us. We will definitely come back if we're ever in Doylestown again!

I had never seen the end of a railroad line, so I was super excited to see that this restaurant sits right at the end of the Doylestown line. There is plenty of parking in the lot, which was also really nice since Doylestown is not known for its parking. We didn't know there would be a brunch menu, so we were pleasantly surprised when we saw that they served brunch until 1:30. I got the eggs benedict, and unfortunately they were out of ham.... However, we substituted it with pork roll and I think it might have been even better than it would have been with the ham!! The hollandaise sauce was absolutely fantastic. The right balance 100% I was totally ready to lick this off my plate. It is served with a side of hash browns which are perfectly cooked, nice and crispy on top, and no undercooked potatoes at all!! The service was fantastic. Our waitress was so nice, came over, got us waters right away, and checked in on us a couple of times. I ordered coffee after the meal and when she dropped the check she made sure we knew there was no rush and to take our time. The interior is absolutely stunning. High ceilings, lots of glass, plenty of seating and the restaurant goes pretty far back. There's also a gorgeous patio if you wanted to sit outside, but since it was 101° out we opted to stay in the air conditioning lol I will absolutely go back to this venue. All the drink prices were reasonable as well, which was surprising being in Doylestown!

We had a wonderful meal here with great food, service and an inviting atmosphere. A bit of an elevated sports bar, we came at 7pm on a Sunday and enjoyed that it was quiet, warmly lit, and had cozy vibes. Our server was so kind and attentive and the cookie skillet was excellent!

We visited this restaurant with a couple of friends after touring a nearby museum. I was quite hungry and excited to dine here, especially given its interesting location. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food, although the service was pleasant and the restaurant itself was appealing. Restaurant Rating: 3/5 Service Rating: 4/5 Food Rating: 2/5 Parking: Free Parking Lot Restaurant: The restaurant is situated in a fascinating location. There’s plenty of seating available, including options in the bar area and outside. Service: Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating, which was impressive considering we were a group of ten. She managed the service exceptionally well. Food: We all ordered different dishes as a group, but my girlfriend and I specifically ordered: Blackened Mahi Taco: This dish was disappointing. It was light on flavor, the fish was overcooked, and the tortillas fell apart easily. Poutine Fries: This dish was not good at all. The brisket on top was cold, as if it hadn’t been heated properly. The cheese curds were clearly an afterthought, not even melted properly, and the dish lacked flavor overall. It felt like an insult to traditional poutine dishes from Quebec. When we asked our friends how their food was, the overall feedback was less than impressive. Conclusion: I would not return to this restaurant, as the food was below average. Additionally, it was concerning to see 4-5 staff members taking breaks in the back dining area on the way to the bathroom. It seemed like there was no designated break area for employees, which detracted from the overall experience.

Artistic Pizza was a popular pizza spot in Doylestown that offered a variety of gourmet and conventional style pizzas. The food was consistently delicious, with lots of flavor and not all greasy like many other takeout places. The staff was always friendly and efficient, making the restaurant an overall great experience. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed sometime between 2020 and 2021. If you're looking for some amazing pizza in Doylestown, look no further than Giovannis on State!
Excellent thin crust pizzas. great texture and crunch and flavors and 0 burned parts.... served perfectly as we had hoped. Nice selection of pizzas as well. We came here for a quick bite and were super happy we found Artistic Pizzeria. Will definitely come back.

New to the area and wanted so much to love this place. Sadly, the negative reviews are in fact true. And I can only assume that whatever positive ratings have been posted were done by employees only...no self-respecting mother, aunt or grandmother would allow this to be served or eaten. This was the sorriest gluten free pizza I have ever been charged for. Sure I asked for it well done. How do you manage to burn the edges but leave the center uncooked? And for the love of God...extra sauce? Does that mean you put no sauce under the cheese, and slop 6 scoops of tasteless red puree on a half uncooked pizza? And I have to mention: the corn syrup based blue cheese is insulting for you to serve and charge extra for. I have to stop. This place is disgusting. I'm so offended. 😞

Really good pizza. Nice selection for the veggie and meat eaters. Love the garlic knots. Small seating area, but it's no deal breaker. Haven't tried ordering for delivery so I'm not sure how they are with that service. They accept credit cards for purchases over $10 dollars.

Found this pizza place walking around in town with my family and it’s an awesome find! Staff was super friendly and took the time to cut my children’s pizza into smaller pieces without me even asking. The owners are very friendly and they have always make the accommodations that my family and I have needed ! The cherry on the top is how fast deliveries are too.

This is my favorite place in Doylestown for pizza. Many places the crust is just a carrier for the sauce and cheese but here I actually look forward to eating the crust itself. The crust on the standard pizza is thin and crispy, they don't get carried away with the cheese, and you don't have oil dripping off it. My son tried their penne with tomato sauce and thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried the Italian sub, which was good, but is not their strong suit. The owner is almost always there and is very friendly. I'd recommend them wholeheartedly.

I went to all the pizza places in town and this is by far the best. The people here are so very nice!!! The service was amazing and super fast. The food was incredible, there was so much flavor and it wasn’t all greasy like the other places. And on top of all of that it was really clean.

As far as pizza goes, you can't go wrong with Artistic. Definitely one of the higher quality pizza places in the area, they offer a variety of pizzas and American cuisine at reasonable, but not cheap, prices. They're also on GrubHub and have been generally reliable with order accuracy and timing. Definitely worth a visit!

While some customers found the bread slightly soggy (hence a 4-star rating), it did not overshadow the overall deliciousness of their meal.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bacco Bistro and I cannot say enough great things about my experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. Our server, Carmen, was absolutely fantastic—warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend trying pasta alavodka and you have to try the pizza....and the calamari....and the salmon. Don't forget the canoli!🤗 This was the perfect choice for my son's rehearsal dinner. The entire team made it a night to remember, and I couldn't have asked for a better setting for such a special occasion. Highly recommend! We also loved the serenade from Dean Garafalo. He's a great entertainer!

Heard and passed this place many times and last Wednesday was my first time trying it out. Ordered from online for pick up. Had no problem on pick up experience. I ordered “your own” Stromboli. From the website they only allowing from 1-3 toppings. I wish they have anything to add more than 3 toppings even tho I will pay for the extra. Also I didn’t see option for salami. I wanted to make like Italian sandwich. So I picked the toppings what I can. The onions was cuts in big sizes, I don’t know but with thinly julienne cuts will be much better so I don’t see big chunks of onions that just my opinions. And I ordered linguini carbonara for my son, the bacon on top was a nice touch. I made a small plate for myself and for some reason it was kind of heavy for my stomach. I had carbonara at Barn Plaza and I didn’t have a problem like this one but at least my teenage son he said he likes it.

Was never disappointed until today. Wanted eggplant said they were out of it. So I ordered the calamari. When I got there order was never placed but the cooks were making their food to eat. They put the order in I said I would come back. Came back was ready. When I went back to work it looked undercooked and this is what it looked like. Mind you there was no one there maybe one customer. It was 90% claws which are gross and only around 5 rings.

Bacco Bistro is now a wonderful combination of local pizza shop and an upscale feeling dining atmosphere. The new addition for group events has a high end, classy vibe. Today we had the Quatro Pizza, antipasto salad, ceasar salad and a brisket sandwich called *The Badda Bing." We have been here many times over the years and have always enjoyed the good and friendly service. We have not tried all of the different pizzas, but we are working on it with enthusiastic anticipation. This place remains on our recommended list.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our sons’ graduation at Bacco Bisto’s recently opened party space and everything was absolutely amazing. Carmen and Tristan provided exceptional service with the personal touch that made this event exceptional for all our guests. The food was amazing and plentiful and everyone left raving about their meals and with leftovers that the team packaged up with care. This is one of my family’s favorite spots in Doylestown and we are so happy to have had such a memorable event made even more special by Bacco Bistro.

Hosted a surprise birthday party for my mom with 25 guests in their private event room. The process between scheduling and selecting our family-style food options was easy and seamless. They were accommodating towards every need. The food and service were exceptional. Would highly recommend for large group events

Love, love, love this Restaurant. From the minute you walk in to the time you leave....just fabulous! ❤️🤍💚 Everyone enjoyed their meals and had fun celebrating my daughter's birthday. 🎂 It was always a special place to go to with her Nannie. ✨️ They offer super yummy specials 😋 and the prices are reasonably priced. We love that it's a BYOB too. 🍷

Great experience for our birthday celebration. Food was delicious. The peanut butter pie, and tiramisu for dessert will change your life! Thank you Tristan for your service, and especially your interaction with our little one. Made our visit feel right at home like in Nonna's house. Will return again!

Ramen restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Doylestown, Rakkii Ramen is a delightful culinary escape that promises an unforgettable dining experience. With its modern decor and friendly staff, this hidden gem creates a welcoming atmosphere that instantly transports you to another world. The presentation of each dish is simply stunning, making it hard not to drool before even taking a bite!
Stopped in for lunch and had a great time. The girl serving was very nice and helpful. Not a soup guy so I got the Beef rice bowl and it was super good, especially the beef. My girlfriend got the tan tan and liked it a lot. Also just a nice vibe.

Julia was our waitress and she was nice and friendly. We like the atmosphere of this place. Menu sort of small. I felt like to eat ramen so I told my husband I wanted to eat at Rakkii and he wasn’t really agree with my idea because he has no clue what to eat in here so I saw they have rice bowl with chicken teriyaki (on the website) so when he heard me saying that then he was ok with it. But when we arrived sat on the table looked the menu we can’t find the teriyaki chicken bowl we asked Julia she said they no longer have that menu which I was feel kinda bad for my husband he even more confused what to order 🥺 (hope you guys consider to update the menu on the website so people know before they actually arrive) So he picked sukiyaki rice bowl (I think that was the name of the dish- the protein on the bowl was beef) And of course I had my ramen (chicken shoyu ramen). The price in this place a bit pricey for me for the portions they served (just in my opinion).

Love this place! Cute atmosphere, the staff is awesome, and it’s kid friendly!! The food tasted delicious, especially the Bao Buns 🤤 My daughter loved it there and thought she was cool eating with the spoon. We also had their House Tea (fresh lemon green tea) it was so refreshing! I’ll definitely be going back 🙂

Service was really friendly and food was amazing. We sat at the bar in front of the kitchen and they were all non stop. Being able to SEE the tickets and how fast they were moving we were fine waiting a little bit longer. I think people forget they aren't the only ones in a restaurant when they can't see what's going on. The girl running food deserves kudos as well she was moving bowls as fast as possible.

Went here for lunch on a Wednesday so it was empty for a good portion of my stay. The service was a bit slow given that, but not so much that it was a glaring issue, and overshadowed by the friendliness of the staff. I got pork gyoza as an appetizer, which was good but maybe a bit overpriced; on that note, while I didn't order any, the drinks seemed very expensive. I got (I think, since the online menu doesn't seem to have it as an item) the Spicy TanTan, which I enjoyed a lot. This was my first time trying ramen and I was very satisfied with both the portion size and flavors. Even the stuff in the bowl I wasn't sure about was great in the broth, and I finished the whole thing. The price was a bit expensive, but less egregious given that it had beef and was clearly made with higher quality ingredients. My meal total was $30 for a single person. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with subtle decor and good lighting choices. The tables have neat little phone slots to protect your phone while you're eating (if it isn't in your pocket). There's a mix of tables for parties of varying sizes, through the area did look a bit crowded even without the tables full. Overall I had a great experience, would go again, would want to go with another person to make the appetizer price slightly more bearable. Would probably be a good spot for dinner before/after a date given it's proximity to the town center and more specifically, the movie theater.

If I could rate higher than five stars, I would! 💛💛This was my second time here and I honestly cannot wait to come back! The presentation of the dishes alone is enough to make your mouth water. The waitresses were very nice, and the food itself was AMAZING. Again, this is the second time I've been in and I have not stopped talking about it. Just entering the building makes you feel like you've been transported to a new world. It's a very welcoming environment and the selection of flavors is very refreshing. The Matcha latte is to die for, and Narutomaki is my favorite part of Ramen noodles and I have been so happy to see it! The slats for your phone is a genius idea, I haven't stopped talking about that with people I know, either. 🧡💛 I will most definitely be returning, and I have been recommending this place to everyone I know. 🧡🧡🍜🍜

Shoyu ramen came out to be the best soup flavor here, Tonkotsu and spicy tan tan weren’t as good comparing all 3 flavors. Shoyu for some reason seemed more like Tonkotsu with creamy broth. Takoyaki was pricey for 4 pieces and not really worth it for $9, most places give more. Tuna sushi bowl was decent. Drinks were refreshing and surprisingly good. Iced Rose oolong was less sweet but good to start off with a hint of tea, but once you try other drinks it will be flavorless. Fresh lemon lime green tea was good and refreshing. Strawberry slush was sweeter but still refreshing. Brown sugar bubble milk tea was decent too. Service was a bit slow, expect to wait about 10 minutes+ for your noodle soup. Overall more like 3.5 stars and rounding it up since it’s a cute spot.

I’m writing this review while still seated at the table after eating. I’m currently waiting for another bowl of ramen to go. Because this was Hands Down THE GREATEST new dining experience for me in quite a few years. Everything from the atmosphere, the presentation, to the most important part the taste. If you could give more then 5 stars I would. I found them because of the Instagram add they were running, and I’m glad I did. A+++

Restaurant
Vela, a restaurant located on Veterans Lane in Doylestown, opened its doors in 2018 and eagerly joined the vibrant community at the heart of Bucks County. Situated in a region teeming with historical gems, natural charm, and a spirit of collaboration, Vela firmly believes that the most enjoyable experiences are those shared with loved ones while relishing delectable cuisine and beverages served with genuine warmth. Recently visited this establishment and was impressed by its expansive and visually pleasing ambiance.
My wife and I went to Vela on our 16th wedding anniversary. We have three kids, so getting out to dinner alone is a rare treat. Our dinner at Vela was just great. The food was delicious, filling, and yet not heavy. We had a tough time choosing between all the great options and spent much of the evening eating off each other's plates. :) We will go back again and would recommend it highly. A BIG THANK YOU to the staff at Vela for making our evening a fantastic one.

Not bad, but no compelling reason to try this place again any time soon. Large, modern dining room and outdoor seating. Plenty of room and high ceilings. Most comfortable chairs. Bread was fresh and warm, but not abundant and not refilled; really just enough for one person. Bread is better than Paradiso, but not as good as La Voglia. The olive oil served with the bread was excellent – strong flavored, the best I’ve had at any Bucks county Italian restaurant. Burrata and heirloom tomato appetizer was pretty good, as was the Mesclun salad, though the latter maybe could have used more salt. We ordered bucatini as our pasta course. Menu says “Tomato, Guanciale, Herbs, Sheep Milk Cheese”. What we received was not what I expected from the description. It was pasta with a very rich and delicious, though somewhat oily tomato based sauce. Sadly, the pasta was very overcooked. The dish was topped with a nice large strip of fried pork that I would have guessed was pork belly rather than guanciale, though it was tasty. I would have loved some more bread for the leftover sauce, but our empty bread basket was not refilled. Main courses were branzino over escarole, and chicken with mashed potatoes. Portions are small enough to justify getting a pasta dish before the main dish. Both dishes were fine, but not memorable. The branzino would have benefitted from a larger portion of escarole. Service is slow. Waitstaff was professional, if not particularly enthusiastic and friendly. Bottleneck appears to be the kitchen. We did not order dessert because we had already been there over 90 minutes by the time our dinner was complete.

Cool atmosphere and great menu. We were seated in the back party room which is why I think our service was so incredibly slow. We weren't in a hurry but 2.25 hours is a looooong dinner. Place wasn't even full so there is no excuse for the slow service. Octopus was delicious and so was the striped bass with really good crispy skin. And the garlic infused olive oil that finally came out with our bread was really really good. I had the Bucks County Mule which was also good and my partner had the Blueberry Crisp for dessert which he very quicky devoured. They were pretty good with my dairy allergy but my sorbet came out with a biscotti that I'm sure wasnt dairy free. We'll be back and give them another try.

Where do I even begin? This was one of the absolute WORST dining experiences I have ever had. We made reservations ahead of time since we had a larger party of 12. For that size group, we received two measly bread baskets and two glass bottles of water for refills. When the water was depleted, there was no effort from the wait staff to bring more water. When more bread was offered, we accepted, but it never showed up. Then came the appetizers. They were mediocre AT BEST and took forever to be delivered. The wait between the appetizers and the entrees was ridiculously long to the point where we were wondering if they forgot about us. To really make matters worse, the entrees started rolling out, ONE AT A TIME. For a party of 12, for the entrees to come out slowly one by one is unacceptable. Some people's food either got cold or was practically finished by the time the final entrees were served. Someone requested a second cocktail. It was never brought. The entrees themselves were not great. Some people enjoyed their dishes more than others. The halibut special had next to no flavor. For dessert, we had brought a cake since we were celebrating a birthday. Between the main course and dessert, we, again, had to wait an unacceptable amount of time. The cake was then hacked into, not cut normally, the slices were the size of an index card (and that's being generous). Then we had to flag the waiter down to request the check. We also had to flag them down so they could take our payment and we could get out of there after 2 and a half hours. Words can't even do it justice how terrible the experience was. By the end of the meal, we began laughing at how ridiculous and unbelievable it was. Do not come here unless you want to have subpar food, heinous service and a painfully slow meal. Would NOT recommend to anyone, especially not for the price.

Our first time there! We sat at the bar on a Saturday night! The place was superpacked! Christian, our bartender was the best! The best! So attentive and service was on point! And even though it was extremely busy he still found time to chat up these new customers! We'll be back soon!

Finally got to try this place! It was a very spacious and beautiful restaurant with great ambiance! Their Octopus and Barrata from the starters menu were fantastic and the rigatoni was delicious. The highlight of the night was the dessert of course, (we even forgot to take the picture!) the vanilla ice cream with peach was to die for. 😋 The customer service was amazing and my friends and I had a wonderful evening here. I highly recommend this place!

The food here is FABULOUS! The interior is well decorated and there is a good vibe when you walk in. The people are very friendly, all in all its a great meal. The prices are consistent with the level of quality you receive. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely want to support this restaurant. I dropped a star on service because of an incident we had when seated outside. Our waiter basically forgot about us. One of the other waiters ended up serving us and the Owner was kind enough to comp some of the meal. This one incident didn't prevent us from coming back many times and this has not been an issue since. This is in a small shopping center so there is typically plenty of parking. They have a full bar but they do offer "cork service" for $20.
