Nature & Parks
Howard Amon Park, situated on the Columbia River in Richland, Washington, offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors. The park features tree-lined walking paths, tennis courts, and a playground for children of all ages. Additionally, it provides access to the river for fishing, boating, kayaking, and swimming.
We absolutely love this park! Lots of stuff for all ages, with new, well-maintained playground, zip line, climbing walls, sandbox, accessible playplace, and wading pool. Great picnic tables, trash cans, and shady grassy areas for picnics or parties. Close to the river and walking trail. This is our favorite park!

The wife and I stopped here while enjoying the evening after dinner visiting Richland. Great park with lots of paved access for wheelchairs and mobility devices. Easy to get near the water. Even at night it was mostly well lit. Certainly an interesting dichotomy with the fancy river cruise boat docked at one end and the homeless resources van at the others. The restrooms were ROUGH and smelled like cheap weed but the overall park was clean and well maintained. We even banged around on the little precision garden next to the playground and it was nice. Lots of folks playing pickle ball and volleyball and the courts were well lit. Totally worth a stop and the history of this land is cool too with the connection to the Manhattan project. On a side note it was nice to see a publicly accessible AED in the parking lot with lots of lights directing you to it.

In town for Art in the Park. Parking was NUTS, but the park is huge and awesome with tons of cool toys and things to do. Plus hundreds of vendors. Will be back next year. Awesome job Richland Parks and Rec team!!
Rachael C — Google review
It's a king-sized park that runs along the river. On a hot day it's a fun place to swim. Huge shade trees, green grass, squirrels, and a paved walkway that runs throughout the park. Picnic tables, benches, and really fun looking kids Playgrounds - and there's a wading pool too.
Wildcraft R — Google review
Howard Amon Park is a very large and versatile park with so much to offer, especially for families with children. The playground area is expansive—kids could spend hours here exploring and playing, which is always a good sign (and might even mean an early bedtime afterward!). There’s even a small rock climbing wall where little ones can start learning to climb in a safe environment. At the moment, the water pool is under construction and won’t reopen until summer 2026, but there’s still plenty to enjoy. The park also has a nice little beach area along the Columbia River, perfect for fishing if that’s your thing, though I personally wouldn’t recommend swimming there. The grounds are beautiful, with wide grassy spaces, lots of trees (great for hanging up a hammock), and plenty of shaded spots to relax. There are also picnic areas available to rent for gatherings and special occasions. Overall, this is one of the most robust and well-rounded parks I’ve ever visited—perfect for families, events, or just enjoying the outdoors.
Misha S — Google review
We love this park! One of the best parks in the USA in my opinion! Love vending here for Art in the Park festival with my business THE WAVY BUNCH! Lots of shade, fun playgrounds, soft grass & great swimming!
Alena H — Google review
I truly enjoyed my time at the park. It was snowing, very cold, deserted, and so beautiful. The world was hushed with snow. The only sounds were the birds chattering on the river. I look forward to seeing the sunrise next time I visit. Do be aware that I spotted a rare venomous tundra squirrel. Don't turn your back to it and show no fear as it can sense such things.
Endora B — Google review
This whole place is beautiful. The wading pool is my son’s absolute favorite. The boat is beautiful. The water is beautiful. The park is nice and clean.

Frost Me Sweet Bistro & Bakery is a charming neighborhood spot located on The Parkway in Richland. Run by a talented husband-and-wife team with over 20 years of experience, this bistro offers a delectable selection of baked goods as well as brunch, lunch, and dinner options.
WOW. Frost Me Sweet understood the assignment. We asked them to make a rodeo themed cake, as well as two smash cakes, for my twins’ first birthday. I am not a huge cake person and these were the best cakes I’ve ever tasted, and the designs were exactly what we wanted. They also made the cutest cake topper! The staff was super responsive, and Megan (manager) was so nice and helpful. Highly recommend!
Liv G — Google review
Had the burger with salad, and it hit the spot. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked classic comfort with a gourmet touch. The salad was fresh, crisp, and balanced the richness beautifully. Cozy vibe, great service definitely worth a bite.

This restaurant is a great option if you're celebrating a birthday or any special occasion that calls for a cake or cupcakes. You'll find the restaurant with outdoor seating on the right side. Their menu is quite decent, although my perspective is a bit skewed since I can't have dairy and only eat gluten-free. For me, while the menu is good, the options are somewhat limited. But I do really enjoy their lavender lemonade. We've chosen this location in the past to celebrate birthdays and achievements. If you find yourself short on planning time, you can easily take the person you're celebrating to eat at the restaurant and then quickly pick up some cupcakes, grab a few candles, and write a little card. It's also a fantastic spot to get cakes or cupcakes to deliver to someone special you might have overlooked at the last minute. While it’s convenient for those last-minute situations, I wouldn't limit this place to only those occasions. What I mean is, they offer a range of services that allow you to easily execute your plans. They sell candles and gift cards on the left side, where the cakes and cupcakes are displayed. Plus, they offer takeout orders. I know many professionals who frequently order takeout from this location. There is a store across the street where you can shop for a quick gift.

The cake we ordered for our wedding was absolutely perfect just the way I expected it and the flavor were delicious we highly recommend frost me sweet they were amazing people to work with i sure will use them in the future.
Veronica G — Google review
Frost Me Sweet is hands-down one of the best gems in Richland! Whether you’re stopping in for a decadent dessert, grabbing lunch, or celebrating something special, this place never disappoints. The atmosphere is charming, the service is consistently friendly and attentive, and the food—oh my gosh, the food—is absolutely phenomenal. Their cupcakes and cakes are little masterpieces: moist, flavorful, and beautifully decorated every time. I’ve tried several flavors and have never been anything less than impressed. You can tell everything is made with high-quality ingredients and a whole lot of love. What really sets Frost Me Sweet apart, though, is the experience. They go above and beyond to make every visit feel special, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth. It’s the kind of place you leave already thinking about when you’ll be back. If you’re in the Tri-Cities and haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor—go treat yourself. You won’t regret it!
Kaela L — Google review
Place is nice but the bakery treats are just so dry. In the last 5 years I have gone to the bakery several times and each time I get a cupcake or something the cake is just always dry even if it has cheesecake filling or frosting filling the cake is drier than a wild fire. It's almost like they don't even use olive oil or any kind of oil when making cake. Frosting is pretty good though and they do have a lot of options when it comes to cake. Perhaps I just haven't found a cake that is moist yet but the amount of cakes and cupcakes I've eaten there that have been dry is a little much.
Keira L — Google review
We met friends for lunch. The atmosphere was conversational so I gave 4 stars. The meals were prepared with an artistic flair. My sweet potato lasagna was very tasty with balanced amount of Italian spices and a sweet red sauce. The sweet potato slices were not cooked and I had difficulty cutting with a knife. The house salad was fresh and blue cheese dressing amazing. Garlic pesto bread was a delightful accompaniment. Two friends enjoyed the yellow curry dish and it looked delicious. One guest had duck confit bahn mi that was delicious and fresh to the taste but watch the jalapenos as this sandwich was very zippy and flaming hot. Another guest had the cod sandwich with brioche bun, fries and salad. We also stopped by their bakery and bought some chocolate cupcakes to take home. The menu is one of a kind. Paninis, salads, curry, sweet potato lasagna and a few after 5pm entrees. The staff was okay but not accommodating and cold. The restaurant wasn't full probably 25% of capacity. Dining was clean. Inside and outside dining. Restaurant not kid friendly. Their acclaim is someone name Guy Fiereri did a Diners, Drive-ins and Dives show and featured two entrees. They show this on the menu. Not sure where this place fits into the DD&D but there you have it.
P K — Google review
I would give this a 5 for the bakery side, the bistro side a 4 only because it takes a while to get your order taken and the food to come out. If you are on a time crunch this is not for you, order takeout, if you have time it is delightful. Cupcakes are decadent, my coworkers love the fries and holy cow burger, curry is good, nice variety of fun dishes.

August 21, 2025 at 8pm, Yes& productions, easy parking, comfy VIP seats, or picnic on the cool grass. No food vendors tonight, Panda Express or Wendy's across the street. Snacks sold at intermission. Sound and lighting were top notch. Every singer had a wearable mic and the live orchestra elevated the performance. Great local talent that shouldn't be missed! (apply bug spray)

We had a really good time at the #Live@5 summer concert series. The band #StoneyLonesome was on point with their music. It was truly enjoyable to listen to quality bands. There was also a good number and variety of vendors at the event, along with event sponsors. The overall experience was great. Thank you to all of those who make these events such a success.

Monterosso's Italian Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience within a vintage railroad car, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere perfect for a memorable dinner date. This family-owned establishment serves authentic Italian cuisine and wine in an intimate setting, making guests feel like they're dining in Italy itself. The restaurant's name, meaning Red Mountain in Italian, reflects its connection to the local Tri-Cities area.
This is a unique Italian restaurant. Dine in a vintage train car. Good selection of wine. The food was very good.

Super fun experience but it could use a "face lift". Excellent service. The food is good but very expensive. It's the perfect place for a special occasion but I wouldn't go for a dinner out. I recommend making reservations, especially for groups of 4+. The Veal Marsala was 5 stars whereas the Chicken Parmesan was closer to 3 stars and the Alfredo somewhere in between.
Tasha S — Google review
I try to visit Monterosso's everytime I'm in the tri cities for work. Tonight I had a glass of La Quercia Montepulciano – Abruzzo – 2021 Monterosso’s Bruschetta for an appetizer on thier molasses bread, absolutely delicious. Dinner I had the chicken Parm with thier Romano white sauce over Angel hair pasta.

Have wanted to try this place for a while now and finally had the opportunity. I love the train car experience it’s a cute place. No standing room inside people right next to you as they wait for their table. This didn’t bother us just so you are aware. Small place so it was quite loud, had some ladies deep in wine who were very loud. Once they left the noise level was okay. Overall the atmosphere was very unique and enjoyable. Kids loved seeing the kitchen at the end of the train car. The food was just okay. The bread starter was very dry, the roll was better just not much flavor even with the basil oil they provide. I had the black and white braised pork pasta dish. I can’t find the name of it anywhere online and didn’t take picture of the menu, but for the price there was very little on the plate. Noodles were home made and yummy but falling apart. Pork meat had very little flavor and just wasn’t a good cut. I think the sauce had separated. Just wasn’t great. My daughter enjoyed her fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp and her friend liked the Mac and cheese kids meal. Both their food looked good, and most of the pictures I see on reviews look wonderful. I would like to give something else a chance when and if we make it in again. We had great service, and sat down at opening on a Friday night for 3 with no reservation but they filled up quick.

A unique and charming spot set inside a stationary train cart. The setting is cute and romantic which makes it perfect for celebrating an anniversary or a special evening out. It is a popular place so making a reservation is the best way to go from what I recall. A memorable experience that stands out in the area.
Kirk — Google review
Great place for a romantic meal! Gets a little loud at times because it is a small but quaint place. We had a great experience. The food was so delicious!
Earl J — Google review
My family came here after my sister got married & the server was attentive & friendly. The food took awhile, but was freshly made & tasted good. They provided 3 small pieces of random breads with olive oil & balsamic, but you had the purchase soup/salad separately. The ambience of the train setting is beautiful & romantic. We were lucky to get in without a reservation, so I’d recommend making one before visiting.

With its inviting atmosphere and outdoor seating options, guests can enjoy their meals while soaking up stunning views during sunset.
Loved this place! We had the K pop chicken, bao buns, duck rolls for appetizers, which had good portions and great flavor. Entrees we had beef yakisoba and ramen which was also very flavor and good portion size. The drinks were also delicious 😋 can’t wait to go back!

Super fun and clever decor and entrée names! It was delicious! My kids were able to split a Ba Me Geow 🍜, my husband had the Drunken Yakisoba, and I had the Soi Haus Ramen. All 3 were fantastic. I started off with the ginger salad. Deliciously fresh with a little fresh ginger spice with a hint of basil. Would absolutely go again!

Soil 705 !! Wow !! I was amazed at the quality of the food and service. Very friendly staff that are knowledgeable and helpful for someone who hasn't been exposed to a lot of this type of menu. My only regret is not taking more pics to share. The Food !! My goodness, the food. The flavors were on point for sure. If I'm being picky, the beef was slightly overcooked in my dish, but the flavor was so good I didn't mind. The rice was mild, but oh, so good. My biggest surprise was the cucumber salad. I couldn't believe that something so simple as a cucumber could be elevated to that level. Absolutely amazing on the food and service for sure . The atmosphere I only give slight shade to, because at one point, the light went down to a really low level. I could hardly see my plate. But I think because the sun was so bright outside, it was hard to see in such low lighting inside. I believe if it was dark outside, then it would have seemed brighter inside. I guess I will have to go back later in the evening to see and get the cucumber salad and something new. Thank you, Soi 705, for the great experience and amazing food.

Stephanie the bartender gave us great recommendations on food and drinks, everything we ate and drank was great. Highly recommended. Awesome service, food, and atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back. Highly recommended!
Joseph F — Google review
My family of four decided to try a new restaurant this past Sunday afternoon and came across Soi 705. Based on the reviews, I was expecting excellent food and friendly service. Unfortunately, the reality was disappointing. The service was lackluster, and our waitress, in particular was rude and dismissive. The atmosphere also felt more like a nightclub--dark and dirty. rather than a welcoming place for a casual meal. We ordered the baozi bunz, which turned out to be just one bun cut in half. While flavorful, $3.50 for essentially half a bun feels overpriced. I also tried their "pink drink," which was underwhelming at best. On the positive side, the food did take a bit of time to arrive, which suggests it was prepared to order and fresh. However, the overall experience fell short. The bill came to $140 for four people, and that was with two of us only having water. Between the steep prices, mediocre food and drinks, and poor service, I don't see myself returning. The rude service, in particular, sealed my decision. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
Raeane — Google review
Fusion Asian food. Cramped tables. Overpriced house sake. More pretentious than good, wish that weren't the case. Just a word of advice: sticking chopsticks into food may keep them on the plate, but it is considered taboo. Would not go back.
Mark B — Google review
Food was delicious, but .... I think $21 for drunken yakisoba veggy and if you want it with beef is a extra 7$ which ends up at 28$ is too much. You barely get 8 small pieces of beef strip . Ps i think they should put in their menue that there is an additional 7$ if you want protein. 5$ for thai tea to get it a small little glass is just crazy.
Hussein S — Google review
Amazing food and drinks! Can't ask for better craft cocktails! Made with loooove! And can we talk about the Buddha BBQ Platter?????? A must for sharing with the whole table! We really enjoyed our experience and can't wait until next time! Thank you!

Late dinner. Place was vacant except for one couple. Hour & half B4 closing. I should have gone with my gut and not stayed. Ordered fish tacos, whole beans and rice. No seasonings were on fish, tortillas were soaked with oil...beans old grey dried out with mystery cheese on top (yuk), rice old flavorless and dried out. Took 3 bites. Never again. Surprised place still in business.

Very authentic tasty food. I got the burrito express with Colorado and it was delicious. Good flavor on the meat and the sauce. Rice and beans were seasoned well. Salsa is good. Yummy horchata. It’s also great how fast the food comes out since it’s more fast casual than sit down. Would definitely come again.

The restaurant offers great customer service and impressive presentation of dishes, such as serving sushi on boats and bridges. we love it here! We usually go every pay day and it's such a shame that we never see anyone here. the food is amazing! the sushi is extremely fresh, beautiful and really really good! I've never been disappointed and the korean lady at the front is always smiling and is so friendly. If you go there enough, like we do, she remembers you! Get the 911 roll, or the shrimp tempura roll (as pictured) it's amazing!

Probably the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. She was so kind and the food was great! I didn’t know they brought the rolls out in a cute boat so that was such a fun surprise. It felt very kid friendly. My kids can’t wait to go back.

We came in for lunch on Monday and it was quiet. Friendly customer service. We had the Dragon roll, spicy Ramen and seaweed salad. The dragon roll was good bite sized and the unagi was very fresh. Seaweed salad was decent, a bit too wet for me. Spicy Ramen was decent, nothing special about it. Overall, the prices were good and roll was good. Will come back to try other rolls.

This time went on Saturday about 2 pm. Had a few customers enjoying their food. I ordered the Hawaiian and cherry blossom. Very good flavor. The Hawaiian was light sweet and tangy and with wasabi and soy gave it a great mixture and the freshness. Cherry blossom had a lot of flavor but nothing overpowered the taste. You could taste each ingredient and at the end you taste the avocado. Very good presentation and great customer service. Makes you want to come back.

Delicious sushi and poke, reasonable prices, extremely friendly service. We tried the Philly Roll and the tuna poke bowl and enjoyed both. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Outstanding! Service, atmosphere and food were top notch. Everything from oyster shooters to dessert was perfect, the staff were amazing. So highly recommended, best dining experience in the tri cities.

We are regulars and consider the early bird dinners and Sunday Brunch our favorite dining out treats. For birthdays and other special occasions, the steaks are the best in town and I know and love my ribeyes !! The marina view, walkway watching, separated happy hour bar and as good of staff as any I’ve ever had, well that’s why we are regulars.

I would rate this place higher if I could! The atmosphere was relaxed, service was excellent. We had the early special -3 course meal. Great food for a great price.

We had the Tomahawk Steak that was cooked Medium Rare served with Mashed Garlic Potato. Staff took care to make sure that it was exactly how we wanted it cooked before they served it. The Garlic Shrimp came with 5 Big Shrimp served with Green Beans and Rice Pilaf. Shrimp was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Service is excellent with someone coming around to make sure that you didn't need anything else. Service is above and beyond what you would expect.

The service was great. I had the chicken fried steak and calamari. I loved the calamari. It tasted fresh. The chicken fried steak was okay. It could have had a little more flavor and definitely needed more gravy.

This is my favorite place for steak in Tri-cities, we are very limited to good restaurants here. Budd’s is great, they have great service, consistent menus, and delicious food. My favorite steak is the filet or the ribeye and the best dessert is the melting lava cake, that’s what I call it, not sure what the exact name of it on the menu is…nor do I care…all I know is that it’s delicious. It does take 15 minutes to make so keep that in mind. I often order it to go if I’m not dining in and only want dessert, it’s so good! The one thing I was sad about was they got rid of the Brut champagne (my fav) and replaced it with another option that isn’t as dry, it’s good but not the brut. Love this place, highly recommend!!!!

They bring you hot bread with some butter before your meal and it is to die for we had the scallops and the flank steak we enjoyed our meal and we love the view of the water, and our staff was very friendly

Very beautiful and property is nicely maintained. I didn't realize that Google Maps had the outlet on here. I should not be surprised. I love using and referring Google Maps for virtually every possible reason I am curious about in a business. I hope to learn more via this app. And hope that whoever is in charge of the display sign keeps adding informational tidbits about the businesses. Oh and also adding more of the upcoming events. I think that's my main suggestion. Overall great. It's already inclusive. And a perfect spot to include, even in a simple outing like, walkin my dog. Beautiful. Keep thriving. ✨

I had gone to the local Papa Murphy's in Richland. The service was great. Staff were efficient in getting the order ready. The store front and inside and appeared to be very clean and sanitary. They staff were also very friendly. To me, the 18% tip given was worth it. The pizzas were on sale on the day of my visit. I believe it was $12.99 for any large and $15.99 for any family size pizza. It was definitely worth heading to this establishment, and I will definitely return. Hopefully, all of you have the same experience.

Park
Leslie Groves Park, located in Richland, WA, spans nearly 150 acres along the Columbia River and offers a variety of recreational activities. The park features hiking and biking paths, sand volleyball courts, a playground for children, and picnic sites. Visitors can also enjoy a soccer field, baseball field, two tennis courts, bike racks, and a boat launch. While the park is popular for swimming and beach volleyball, it's important to note that there are no lifeguards on duty.
My first visit and I'll definitely be back. Very clean beaches, lots of green grass. I like how the water's edge is a gentle slope into the river making it a fun place for kids and dogs. The water is a little swift, so use caution.

Great little hidden gem. Clean. Very nice people of all kinds and ages. Feels safe and happy! Excellent swimming beach, too (no lifeguard, but lots of able swimmers)! Great for family gatherings or even singles just wanting to get in sunshine by water...paddleboards welcome!! Dog friendly (on leash, I guess) ❤️

I love this park. It's on the river close to the water with little outlets to access the water. It's a beautiful park. 😍easy access to bathrooms, plenty of picnic space, dog friendly on leashes, and a playground for the kiddos. 😃

This has been my "calming area" for most of my life. It's generally peaceful and private for self-care wether you sit on one of the many benches, spend time on the bank of the Columbia river, go for a serenity walk, or just sit in your car either alone or with a friend or family member to have a place to talk privately.

Columbia Point Golf Course

Golf course
Columbia Point Golf Course is a well-maintained facility situated on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels. The course features open fairways and gentle hills, making it an ideal place for both learning and improving your game. With its picturesque location alongside the Columbia River, players can also enjoy stunning views while dining at the Clubhouse after a round.
Excellent course in Excellent condition, even for fall golf above expectations. Really fun, and just challenging enough to make it interesting, can drive a couple of par 4s if you're accurate and brave enough, some long par 5s, I'm sure there are folks who can reach in 2. But overall great course
Mike T — Google review
What a fun course!!..some short par 4s and some long par 5s. Greens were amazing with crazy layouts fast and true. Girl at the desk was amazing and helped with our booking issue. Bar girls were great, so was the cart girl. Very enjoyable round, even if it was 100 degrees😎 plus I got 4 birdies! We will definitely be back⛳️
Cary P — Google review
Fun little course with some interesting holes. Lots of mounds, reachable par 5's and some drivable par 4's. The green fees were mid 40's on the weekend which wasn't too bad in my opinion. Will play again when passing through.
Austin K — Google review
Always a fun course to play. Great shape, greens were super!
Major T — Google review
Other golfers not involved in the US kids golf tournament hit balls towards tournament players and did not yell fore or even acknowledge that they almost hit some of the parents and kids. Otherwise the greens were well kept.
Joshua W — Google review
This has been my home course since I started golfing three years ago to date. I love the open fairways and the gentle hills. Many of these holes invite you to play the wrong side of the hole, and many of the fairways are just wide open. This is a great place to learn to golf. The pace can be slow on the weekends /holidays, but most of the people you play behind or in front of are good folks, so take a friend or two, grab some golf lube and enjoy the round!
Jim M — Google review
Course is going downhill. Tons of dead spots. Lots of standing water. Not much grass to hit off of on the driving range. Greens were in decent shape. Seems like they don't have a head groundskeeper that cares.
TITAN O — Google review
Greens are bumpy, 3 kinds of grass that grow at different rate. Course maintenance is great, beau is an exceptional golf professional, 5 to 6 hour rounds of golf are common.

If you're ever in the Tri-Cities area, a stop at Country Mercantile is an absolute must! This delightful destination is a treasure trove of custom-made chocolates and gourmet foods that will tantalize your taste buds. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by an impressive array of local produce, jams, pickles (including unique beet-pickled eggs), and freshly baked goods. The bakery even serves up homemade ice cream that's simply irresistible!
On 10/9/24, I visited the Richland, Washington location of Country Mercantile. While it's smaller than the original location in Pasco, it's still pretty big. I don't normally travel to Washington via this route, so wasn't aware that it is is close to a freeway exit. When I saw the signage, I knew I had a stop. My goal was just to make a quick visit, but I was there for approximately 3 hours. a Here are photos of some of the items I saw, several of which I purchased. The best part of my visit was getting to try the remarkable Dubai Chocolate Bar, which is made in house by Randi, Andy, and Areli. Hands-down, this is the best version of this specialty chocolate bar that you will find anywhere. It's worth visiting the store for this item alone. If you like food, you must make a point to visit Country Mercantile.

This is like an indoor food, focused village. You can smell the ice cream when you walk in the door. They offer the most magnificent salsa options to enjoy on site or pack in ice and take to a gathering. There are so many lovely regional gifts, whether you’re craving sugar, salt,or perfectly healthy vegetarian bounty from the local fields. This place is great whether it is hot, cold, rainy, or windy outside this is absolutely one of my favorite stops and recommendations.

We love coming here. Always a pleasant atmosphere and yummy samples. Always clean, tidy and put together well. The homemade ice cream bar is amazing. If I could go here daily, I would!

It's my favorite tourist trap! 😆 love all the chocolate and samples. We always leave there with an assortment for of great products. The staff are also wonderful. Buy some fudge! It's delicious.
Jess K — Google review
I stopped by on a tip and had fun. It's a clean store with a little bit for all. I enjoyed seeing the large selection of chocolates, the variety of breads and selection of canned goods. There's a ice cream bar and a restaurant on the premises. Some of the prices were fair and some were higher than what I'm used to. Still a 5 🌟 experience.
Ya S — Google review
It is a cool place to visit when you are in the tri-cities area. It is definitely touristy and likely not something that locals will frequent. The bakery was very nice and the selection of condiments were actually pretty impressive. The produce is slightly above average and the candy section was also very above average. Overall definitely worth a visit.
Ian P — Google review
This is a place with specialty bulk candies & unique handmade chocolates. There is ice cream, coffee, & food available, and they have a little giftshop. I made time to come back before leaving the area!
Sue H — Google review
Country Mercantile calls itself a produce market. And yes, you can fill a box with corn so fresh it still carries the field on its husk. You can load up on strawberries, peaches, or Cosmic Crisp apples—food that reminds you this land grows more than sagebrush. But take one step inside and you’ll realize: this place is as much about sugar as it is about soil. The air smells of chocolate. Truffles line the cases like jewels. Fudge gets sliced thick as a deck of cards. Caramel apples, glossy and heavy, hang on sticks like trophies. If chocolate is produce, then Country Mercantile is telling the truth. That’s the trick here. It’s not either/or. It’s both/and. You can buy tamales and enchiladas from the deli, then walk ten steps and order gelato that tastes like summer condensed. You can shop for salsa and local honey, then finish at the counter with a box of pralines. What began as a family fruit stand has turned into a kind of roadside cathedral—half farm stand, half sweet shop. The aisles still honor the land. But they also honor indulgence. And together, they tell a story that’s hard to forget: good food doesn’t have to choose sides. Country Mercantile markets itself as produce. And in a way, they’re right. Because whether it’s a just-picked ear of corn or a hand-dipped chocolate, both feed something deeper than hunger. They feed your sense of place, and your need for a little joy on the ride home.

Chinese restaurant
Family Garden is a relaxed establishment that offers both Japanese and Chinese cuisine, including traditional dishes. The restaurant is highly regarded among locals and residents in the area, with many taking advantage of the weekly dinner deal. What sets this place apart from typical Chinese restaurants is their commitment to using fresh ingredients. In addition, customers praise the speedy service and flavorful food, which can be customized to desired levels of spiciness.
Amazing food had a party of about 12 just walked in they had a table immediately for us. When ordering they nicely answered any questions we had on the menu. Food was out super fast we barley got the salads half eaten before the main courses came out . Food was delicious! Had enough for everyone and leftovers. Definitely stop here for some great food and service!

We always call to order and then pick up. We love that they have great vegan and vegetarian options and that we can opt out of fish sauce in many dishes. Their avocado rolls taste so fresh and my kids are obsessed with them. We also love the general tso tofu, eggplant dish, and family style tofu without fish sauce. They are always kind and super fast. Highly recommend!
Ashley N — Google review
Large portions and flavorful dishes make this restaurant a great place to eat. The visual atmosphere stands out with all the decorations, giving it a welcoming and unique feel. Every dish I have tried has been full of flavor which keeps me coming back.
Kirk — Google review
Food is so-so. Not great but not terrible. The food came out very quickly. Just not the quality and taste I'm used too. Sweet & sauce is in packets and that kind of says it all. But they are open on Sundays when most places are closed around here.
JP E — Google review
Excellent portion sizes and prices. The restaurant was clean and seemed friendly. Unfortunately we personally did not enjoy the food. I've been spoiled by Vancouver and Seattle Chinese restaurants and this did not live up to those standards. What we tried tasted similar to what you get at a buffet or grocery store deli. The sauces were thick with too much cornstarch so they had a jelly texture, plus they were bland. I really disliked the fried tofu- it was greasy and far too soft with an uncooked texture. Everywhere else that serves fried tofu typically uses a firmer tofu, whereas this was like silken tofu with a custard like quality. My partner also did not enjoy the sesame chicken. Flavor was average, but their was far too much soggy breading vs actual chicken . The rice, however, was cooked perfectly. I will not be eating here again, too many other places are better.
M C — Google review
Service and atmosphere were great, food was not. Every dish we had was not seasoned well. Egg drop soup was the blandest I've ever tasted. Had to put soy sauce on everything to be able to eat any of it. Very disappointing.
Shawn D — Google review
The dinner combos serve a lot of food, you will definetely have leftovers. Very nice employees. We ordered Mongolian Beef, it was super tender & more beef than anything else, came with choice of white rice, or fried rice, crispy perfect little egg rolls, sweet & sour sauce for dipping, and soup of your choice. Also had the House Pan fried rice noodles, they dont oversalt the food, you can add a little soy sauce if you like, noodles were perfect texture. The sweet & sour chicken was good, the batter was crispy. Also had the philedelphia roll, smoked salmon , cream cheese, avocado, yum. Egg drop soup wasnt salty, so I added some. I like my salt. Cant wait to go back to try other menu items. It was pretty busy for a Sunday night, but didnt have to wait long for a table. Cute little restaurant, I have been looking for a good chinese food restarant in Tricities, finally found this little gem in the uptown richland strip mall after 5 years. Cant believe I never heard of this place.

This is my go-to place when I want a special breakfast. I've enjoyed everything I have here. The menu changes every now and then, so you might miss a favorite, but then you can just find new favorites! They have the best breakfast potatoes in the Tri-Cities, always well seasoned and perfectly crisp. Ask for a seat outside for a peaceful view of the river.

They were serving a sold out 6 course meal, but accommodated my request for the dinner menu in the bar. Asked for the recommendations and wasn't disappointed. Came here for girls night birthday dinner. The dining room was very beautiful. It is in the hotel lobby and there are people checking in and coming down in robes etc but that didn’t bother us. Beautiful views over the water. Service was excellent! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered the Gouda fondue appetizer and it was delicious. I recommend you save your bread roll if you are going to order this and dip it in the cheese. So good! It comes with apples and what I could call croutons. Had a fall specialty cocktail which was also yummy. For entree we had the beef shoulder and it was cooked perfectly. So tender and seasoned well. Potatoes didn’t have much flavor but were still fresh and tasted good. We ended the night with a free dessert for our Birthdays with the chocolate cheesecake and it was amazing! I would go so far as to say the best cheesecake I have ever had. All in all it was one of the best dinners I have had in a while.
The E — Google review
Went for the 3 course Valentine's Day Dinner, and overall it was a enjoyable meal that gave a good overview of the food at Druhmhellars'. The ambiance here was mixed, as the seating was in a hotel lobby so you saw hotel guests checking in and out as well as people wandering in hotel robes which was mildly off-putting. The view of the river however, was quite nice. The service was excellent and attentive throughout the evening. The food was mostly good and there was an excellent cocktail menu with some unusual choices to try. I highly recommend the "Cara Cara & Cranberry" salad (our favorite part of the meal, it was perfectly balanced in flavor and texture) as well as the rosemary bread with herb butter (absolutely delightful!). Our entrees were lukewarm when they arrived, and the "Miso and Tamari Glazed Sablefish" was definitely the low point of our meal (especially for the price). It was average at best, had far too much broth, and an extremely small portion of fish. My gnocchi was excellent, with great lemon undertones, I just wish it had arrived warmer. The dessert was a nice meal closer, and I liked the tart pairing of raspberry clafouti with the lemon gelee. I will probably return in the future to try more of the menu, and definitely have that salad again.

It was great service. We had excellent rock fish and Walleye. 3 of us had the Bailey's cream desert, (very rich but wonderful). They have easy access from a nice dock there. We were out for a boat ride and stopped there for dinner.

We have been there several times. Each time we sat at the bar and was waited on by Kealani. Everything was awesome. We had great service and great food. I do have to say that we are fixed on the Shaken Beef. It is very close to a dish we have back home, beef with long horn peppers. We have already been back multiple multiple times and will obviously be back again before we leave. Thank you Kealani!

Really great experience. The atmosphere is wonderful; *very* large and long wood lined roof with large windows looking out on the river. I had the fillet mignon with scallops and it was delicious, and the bread pudding for dessert. Our waiter "Markus" added some apple strudel to the ice-cream which really made it 5-stars all around. You won't be disappointed.

We come in here quite frequently and always have an awesome experience. Jonathan C was our server the last couple times we have been in and provided impeccable service both times. Quick, efficient, attentive, and above and beyond, he exceeded our expectations even during a very busy, and I'm sure unexpected, full restaurant late in the evening. 5 stars for Jonathan, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the delicious food (who knew a seafood place could cook such a delicious steak!) We are originally from Seattle and I would put the Columbia Anthony's up there with some of the finer seafood restaurants on the west side, better than the Seattle area Anthonys restaurants for sure! Great job team! Keep up the great work!

Today we visited our local Anthony's restaurant after a beautiful church service , were a family of 7 and upon being seated at the table only one staff member came a poured water into the glasses, other than him no one came for 20 min to take our drink orders or food order or even to say "hey I'll be taking care of you". upon waiting 25 min we decided to walk out, I felt like I needed to explain to the manager why and requested to see her as my family got into the car but even she didn't come out to see me, we have never experienced this kind of service before . I hope this review gets their attention and they take proper action with their staff.

Came here tonight with my best friend, as I am visiting from out of town. The service was wonderful, the food and drinks were amazing! Huge portions, so plenty to either share or have plenty of leftovers for the next day. Will definitely come back next time I’m in town.

Saw it online, drove there and got a bit Leary because it is in "that" hotel, the one that's had 6 names in 10 years it seems. The service was good, atmosphere was very nice. One person got a chicken pizza and they were not stingy with the chicken, probably 2 breasts worth on one 10 inch pizza. Another got fish tacos which I tried a bit of. The fish was tender and juicy and tasted like tacos. I got the Parmesan chicken sub. The bread was great, the chicken and cheese were generous. If the sauce was any sweeter they'd be serving it with pancakes. This was unfortunate for me as I do not like sweet tomatoes sauces. Even more unfortunate for me was that it was so sweet I could not even force myself to eat it, it unsettled my stomach in very short order. They also put raisins in the salad. If I return I shall try the fish and chips.

This restaurant is freaking AMAZING… this is my favorite place to eat with the best food! Even the bread they give you when you first sit down is freaking delicious! This was my second time eating her & even their alcohol drinks are delicious, I got the Escape & the pomegranate margarita & they were perfect & tasted amazing. I got some spaghetti dish with olives, mushrooms, capers & large chunks of tomatoes which is everything I love & love in spaghetti. It’s a spicy spaghetti too & omg it was delicious, the bread stick I got with my dish was obviously hand made & so good… just melts In your mouth. My husband got a burger which I helped him eat lol & man that was so freakin good as well & their French fries… just amazing. They gave us a free peace of hand made tiramisu for our anniversary & that was also Devine! Like I can’t rave about this place enough! I almost didn’t want to post about it or review it to hide it & save this place all to myself but it’s so delicious I had to share! Hands down the best Italian restaurant in town! Shoot it’s the best restaurant in town in general! Please never leave & never change a thing! The menu is perfect & so is the food & the drinks are just spot on! It’s also very inexpensive especially for the quality of food which is a big deal for me because I hate having to shell out a small fortune just for a semi good meal so this place is just perfect all around! My husband & I will be coming to this restaurant for every anniversary & every one of my birthday dinners in the future. The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing especially in their outside dining room. Just come & enjoy & thank me later!!!

had a margherita pizza and greek salad for takeaway. the salad was really fresh with lots of different vegetables, and the chicken portion was generous. the pizza was a bit greasy for my european taste, but still tasty. the staff were lovely, and the waiting time was around 15 minutes. definitely recommend!

Spouse and I shared an all meat pizza (forget the name). Excellent pizza. Ample topping, good amount cheese and great sauce. Cooked well too. Crispy crust. Complementary pizza sticks were pretty good as well. Service was average. The restaurant was clean.

For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Claybell Park. Not quite as popular as Howard Amon Park, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Located in Kennewick, Washington, the Toyota Center is a versatile venue that serves as a hockey arena and ice-skating rink for the Tri-City Outlaws games. Originally opened in 1988 as the Tri-Cities Coliseum, it has since become a major event hub for the city. The center hosts the Tri-City Americans hockey team and can accommodate around 6,000 spectators for hockey games.
Nice venue to watch the Tri Cities Americans play hockey. Fantastic variety of food vendors. Family friendly venue.

Visited this arena as a visiting fan. The arena is definitely on the older side with narrow concourses and weird quirks, but it’s been kept up well. The atmosphere is great with friendly fans and clean restrooms. Tickets are on the cheaper side but concessions are on the more expensive side with smaller portions. Overall, this arena is one of the better arenas that I’ve visited as an away fan.

My son's first hockey game was here. Americans won 6-5 in overtime against the Hitmen. I had to pay $18 for a chicken strips and fries basket. $18!!!! Other than that, had a GREAT experience! Very clean facility, well maintained!

The REACH Museum, also known as the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center, is a fascinating educational institution located in the Richland Public Facilities District. It offers an immersive experience focused on regional history, geology, science, and technology. The museum's 14,000 square-foot space features two main exhibition galleries that showcase the impact of Ice Age Floods and basalt lava flows on the area's geological landscape.
Kool place. Ice age displays are well organized with lots of examples. Who would think camels roamed here in Washington. Entrance fee includes on site parking. Worth the visit.
Robin S — Google review
I had no idea what to expect when encouraged to visit the REACH Museum. What a delightful blend of geological and geographic information of the Tri-Cities area but also a comprehensive exploration of Hanford and its role in the Manhattan Project. If you aim to visit plan for lots of time if you want to be thorough. There is loads of reading and not too much in the way of interactive experiences. Small children would unlikely be engaged but there are some stories that just need to be told and such is the case here.
Sherrie N — Google review
Amazing Natural History and WWII and Cold War history museum. Lots of hands-on exhibits for kids or kids at heart, in the Natural History part. I enjoyed the history in the WWII and Cold War side, the housing built for Hanford employees, facts on the building, and the secrecy!

Amazing experience. If you live in Tri-City or visiting, don’t miss the opportunity to visit this museum, I recommend it . 💯

My family rented their back patio as a venue space for an event and it could not have been more perfect. The view of the river is fantastic, the space was shaded, and the museum had all the amenities we needed. But what really stuck out was Katie. From the moment I called her to inquire about the venue up until the moment we departed from the venue she was so incredibly helpful, polite, and professional. I cannot say enough great things about the customer experience I had interacting with her

Visited here with kids between the ages of 8 and 16 passing through on our way to Spokane. It's a nice smallish museum with a lot of local history. There were 2 galleries, one focused on prehistoric fossils and natural history and the other about the history of a local plutonium plant. There was not a lot of hands on things to keep the kids interest so they were finished within about half an hour maybe less. I think adults without kids could spend much longer if you like reading and observing. But with the kids not having more to do, we were out of there within about 40 minutes.

Our company recently had the pleasure of hosting a 2-day event at The REACH Museum. Katie, and the rest of the Staff, were not only kind, but attentive and accommodating to our large group. They assisted in getting our room set to our needs, and even allowed us to set-up on a day that the museum was typically closed to the public. Our guests enjoyed walking around the museum during our meeting breaks and that added something "extra" for our event. We would highly recommend visiting, or hosting your event, at The REACH Museum. We look forward to the opportunity to work with this group again.

Beautiful park with 2 baseball fields, soccer fields, lots of pickle ball courts, 2 playgrounds with swings, basketball court, and nice bathroom facilities. Also has a large open area of grass. Has a smaller parking lot and can get very busy on the weekends. Always baseball games, soccer practice, and pickle ball players.

Amazing facilities with kids playing, people enjoying pickleball, and seems like back in the 70's. It was wonderful to see.

Pretty big park in a residential area. It has a basketball court, tennis courts, baseball & enough field to play football & soccer. Has bathrooms & water fountains. Toys for both smaller and older children with several benches for different families. Pretty quiet park, I enjoyed it and will be back.
Luis M — Google review
Had a blast. The only issue is people smoking drugs around the kids. I believe they were young adults with no children who use the park for drug use. But a lovely place. Just as I remember 20+ years ago.

My dog and I love this park. There is a nice, flat, paved walking or jogging area. There are grassy fields that have soccer games. Pickleball and tennis courts. There is a baseball field. The playground is nice. A few swinging benches. Bathrooms. Picnic tables. Nature trail. Occassionally see coyotes crossing the field when the park isn't busy.

This is by far one of the best parks in the Tri-Cities. It doesn't have as much traffic as some of the larger parks. But it is a big enough park there's plenty of different activities to do. The Gesa Carousel of Dreams is a historic 1910 carousel that has been a beloved attraction for over a century. Originally located at Silver Beach Amusement Park in Michigan, this masterpiece was crafted by renowned carver Charles Carmel and features intricately designed horses. After being dismantled, it found its way to Roswell, New Mexico before finally settling in Kennewick, Washington.
4 rides for $10 on the carousel. Cute ring game for kids to play. Outside is a watering hole for kids to get wet and stay cool. Next to thst s big play ground to keep them busy for a while.
Marcos S — Google review
My son had to use the restroom and I seen they had restrooms inside. So I took him in to use it and as I was talking with my wife that I would like to take the boys for a ride on the carousel sometime. Suddenly this old lady that works there told us to use the restrooms outside that the ones are for paying customers. As someone that doesn’t know the area I thought it was rude of that lady to practically kicking us out of the place. If you don’t want people using your restrooms maybe you should put a sign up. Restrooms for paying customers only. It’s the proper way to tell people. Anyways, I changed my mind about taking my boys there with an unprofessional staff.
Alfredo J — Google review
My little guy was unable to ride the ride with my older son, it was incredibly busy and we drove over an hour to come just to turn around. I was so sad to find the information when we got there and not anywhere posted online. The staff was incredibly friendly and sweet. The rating is not a reflection of them but rather a reflection of the lack of information provided anywhere to make an appropriate judgement before driving so far. It was a beautiful ride and had very kind staff. Would have been enjoyable had I known everything in advance. We attempted to call ahead but they were unavailable to answer questions. We took our chances and were sad to find we couldn't ride. That's okay. Maybe another time.

The gentleman running the carousel were amazing. They were so friendly, kind and had a wonderful spirit about them. They went above and beyond making every family and child’s experience truly magical. I cannot say enough wonderful things about that team.

The staff are truly some of the kindest friendliest people we have ever met, I wish I would have caught their names, but they were too busy making sure we had an amazing visit. The way they interact with you will make you feel like a kid again, and I’m so glad the kind gentleman running the ride convinced me to ride with my son. We will definitely be visiting any time we’re in the area, and recommending that everyone else do the same.

What a lovely place to visit! An indoor, beautiful, antique carousel that is over 100 years old. It looks an operates like new. The staff were all so kind and friendly. How refreshing that was! The children who think they’re just a bit too big to enjoy may be surprised to find themselves having fun trying to capture a brass ring. :)

Fable: Craft Bar, Wine Saloon, Food Joint is a chic dining spot with a modern-casual atmosphere. It's open from 11:30 AM to 11:50 PM and offers an affordable menu for both lunch and dinner. The outdoor patio provides stunning views of the river, making it a perfect place to enjoy delicious food and drinks.
Very good food we got the balsamic brie burger, the Gnocchi Mac and Cheese and I cant remember what the chicken entree was. That said all 3 had great flavor. The gnocchi mac and cheese was everyones favorite. Took the rest home for left overs and just cooked up more noodles and stirred in the cheese sauce. Really flavorful. Our meal did take quite a bit of time. We were in no hurry so it wasn't too big of a deal but the manager realized it and without us even saying anything apologized and said she would take 10% off our bill for the wait. Very pleased with the service and just simply that they were paying attention to the orders and realized they got backed up. Great service, good staff and good food. Worth a stop to try out their entrees!
Michael C — Google review
This is my first time visiting this restaurant. The menu is more bar style food, which they tried to make look fancy... but it's pricey for what you get. I decided to try the gnocchi mac and cheese and added medium rare tri tip. Also, we ordered a shareable. We got the Naan bread and hummus. All i can say is that it is NOT Naan bread. What we got was pizza crust cut into triangles. It tasted more like fried bread. The hummus was just ok, and the vegetables that I paid an extra 6 bucks for were a couple of pieces of carrots and bell peppers....(Imagine the side you would get with Buffalo wings) The meal came out piping hot and looked appealing visually. Unfortunately the meal was not great. The gnocchi were like heavy balls of mush and extremely over seasoned. They just added a bunch of parm on top of the food, which made it way too savory and over seasoned. The tri-tip that came out was seasoned well but dry and overcooked. I got a replacement, and the meat was cooked a lot better but salty as hell. The service was great, as the waitress was quick and came often. We got several refills of drinks.
Andres M — Google review
Food was good, portion was very small for the price and takes a while. I’m a firm believer you can’t rush perfection but was about a good 35-40min. They charge an additional 4% for using a card I think? I’m guessing that’s the service fee. I’m already paying partially your employees wages by tipping 20%. Your prices should include your overhead and profit margin. So don’t nickel and dime your customers. Service was excellent. My waiter was cool as shit and atmosphere was nice. I would go again, just not too often as it’s pricey. Excellent booze menu! Just look at the menu I posted. Take away the bs service fee for a star, add a lil more to the plate, maybe an additional side or fun appetizer like bread and hummus or chips n salsa type thing for another star. Than you got urself a solid reputation to a huge foodie and critic.

Enjoy the Flies.... so many flies!!! Not impressed at all by the Flies that were out of control and the fact that when the food came half the table was served and the other half sat with nothing in front of them for over 5 minutes. Go somewhere else with your money. Edit, so complaint to the waitress ended up with excuses and no recourse to correct the issues. She sent the bartender over since the manager was unavailable and he offered our meal at 50% and a $100 gift card. Hopefully they figure out how to serve a large party that made a reservation and ordered at the same time and for real..... figure out the fly issue. Was insane how many there were.

Dear Google users, I'm delighted to share my review of Fable: craft bar, wine saloon, and food, a charming riverside establishment located in the Tri-Cities area. Atmosphere: Fable offers a delightful patio setting, perfect for soaking up the summer sun and enjoying the picturesque river views. The ambiance is lively and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing dining experience. Service: The service at Fable truly deserves high praise. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The staff's warm hospitality contributed significantly to our overall enjoyable visit. Food: The menu at Fable boasts a diverse array of mouthwatering options. We started with the crispy and flavorful fried pickles, which were a delightful appetizer. The jalapeño bacon burger was a standout, perfectly cooked and bursting with bold flavors. The Caesar salad was fresh and well-prepared, complementing our meal perfectly. Additionally, we indulged in the fresh sockeye salmon fish and chips, which were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside – a true delight for seafood lovers. Overall, Fable: craft bar, wine saloon, and food offered an exceptional dining experience. The outstanding service, delectable food, and charming riverside ambiance make it a must-visit destination for anyone in the Tri-Cities area seeking a memorable culinary adventure. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Fable is definitely worth checking out this summer.

Porter's Real Barbecue has been voted the best barbecue in the Tri-Cities for four consecutive years. Located near Howard Amon Park, this restaurant offers luscious BBQ sandwiches, jalapeno poppers, and bacon. The menu also includes banana dessert and pasta. Visitors praise the staff for their helpfulness and commend the amazing food such as nachos, baked potato, pulled pork sandwich meal, slaw with delicious dressing, great drinks, and mac n cheese.

How have I been sleeping on this place for so long!?! I am in Kennewick often for work the last few years but somehow have not been in here until today. Mostly because it can be tough to find good BBQ in Washington. Well, I got in right before noon and figured they definitely wouldn't be out of anything an hour after opening, amd I was having a hankering for brisket, so I headed over. I let the guy at the counter know it was my first time when he asked me if I wanted my brisket more marbled or not, and he immediately handed me a sample of his more marbled brisket. I was immediately in love! It's tender and juicy and it falls apart well all on its own! It doesn't really need sauce as it is nice and juicy on its own and I actually REALLY dig the crust all by itself. But it goes GREAT with their spicy sauce. When asking me what kind of sauce I'd like, I had to ask what all they had, which is the usual of sweet and spicy varieties, and they also have mustard sauce! Not being much for mustard sauce on brisket, I let the gentleman know I would be in some other time for some pulled pork which is where I REALLY enjoy mustard sauce, and he mentioned it goes well on the bacon jalapeño poppers I got on the side. What a GREAT call there! The mustard sauce is a HIT on the poppers! I will definitely be back on a Tuesday some time to get me some burnt ends, which they only do on Tuesdays. I can definitely see myself making my way through the menu here! I was super impressed with the food and very happy with the friendly helpful service!
Seth B — Google review
I ordered the Johnny's sandwich and was really disappointed — it came with a quarter pound of pulled pork fat, just fat. The brisket was okay, but the bacon barely hit a 1 out of 5. The staff rushed me through like it was a Subway line, and one of the employees was shouting to a coworker from just 5 feet away — very unpleasant experience overall. 😮‍💨
Russ — Google review
I've never been to a BBQ place before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Was staying at a nearby hotel and this was close by for dinner. I'm not a big red meat fan so I got the 1/3# of turkey. It was amazing - more moist than the average Thanksgiving Turkey which was a pleasant surprise. My friend got sausage and burnt ends and said they were very good. The mac & cheese was good as well. When I first got my tray I thought there was no way I was going to eat all this food, but it was so good that there was no need for a 'to-go' bag. The sauces were very good too! This is not a place to sit and visit. You get your food and eat it, then get on your way.
Sara L — Google review
Tried their brisket both lean and fat, pulled pork, sausage and St. Louis ribs, Mac n cheese and baked beans for side. Everything was great. Rare find for a BBQ joint especially in this area not known for BBQ.

If you're on the hunt for some comforting deliciousness, look no further than the mac and cheese at Porters Real Barbecue in Kennewick! I recently indulged in this creamy delight, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer. The culinary wizardry behind this dish is nothing short of spectacular. Each bite is a warm hug, bringing all the cheesy goodness one could ever dream of. But that’s not all! The real cherry on top was the service from Lexi. Seriously, she was as lovely as a sunny day! With a smile that could light up the room, she was super helpful and made the experience even more delightful. So if you find yourself in the area, don't miss out on the mac and cheese – and make sure to say hi to Lexi while you’re at it!
Jordyn R — Google review
I’m so torn on this place. Their sauces are really good and the pulled pork is super tender. But it’s expensive and they won’t even give you a bun unless you order 1/2lb. That’s a lot of meat if you just want a sandwich. We ordered the family pack and it came to $60. Way too much for lunch (and just counter service at that) and it honestly was too much food. Fountain drinks are almost $3 each. The Mac and cheese is absolutely underwhelming. The kids hated the texture (overcooked pasta) and it was almost tasteless. Kids asked if there was cheese in it. 🤣 The Cole slaw was good.

Breakfast restaurant
The Original Pancake House (OPH) is a casual eatery that serves signature pancakes and other classic American breakfast dishes all day. The restaurant consistently attracts a large number of customers, but their hardworking staff maintains positive attitudes and provides excellent service. On one occasion, the manager named Bobbie went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience.
Spouse had pecan waffles with bacon and a side of two eggs. The bacon was cooked perfectly. Broke when bent but still a little bit of a chew. The waffles were very good and the 2 over medium eggs were great. 5 of 5. I had eggs and potatoes. What can I say? It was eggs and potatoes. I mixed them together, added hot sauce and ate with my toast. Tasted good but nothing remarkable. 4.5 of 5. It was busy. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Despite the crowd, the service was overall pretty good. Overall, while a little pricey, I give a 5 out of 5.

The Original Pancake House in Tri-Cities serves up undeniably delicious breakfast fare, but be prepared to pay a premium for those fluffy pancakes and crispy bacon. While the service is consistently friendly and attentive, the wait times can be excruciating. The online reservation system, intended to streamline the process, often results in tables sitting empty due to no-shows, frustrating those waiting in person. If you make an online reservation and your plans change, please, for the sake of everyone else, cancel it.

The other diners truly enjoyed the sourdough starter pancakes. The bacon was thick and delicious. The scrambled eggs were tasty. I appreciated having GF pancakes.

A nice place to stop for breakfast, great menu, good service, a little expensive, but not outrageous...

Great food and great service. We eat here every time we come to Kennewick for a Marching Band competition. If you want a table on Sunday, I recommend getting on the wait list before you go. There are some delicious breakfast options not available anywhere else, plus options for traditional breakfast food.

This was my first visit here. I came on Sunday morning and it was very busy. My friends and I had to wait for a table, but it was worth the wait. I had the avocado toast served with 2 eggs and fried potatoes. It was terrific!

I started eating here because my former manager loved the place when we had work in the area. So much so that he wanted us to stay in the hotel next door. I just stopped by again today, and I still love the food and the friendly staff. Try the corned beef hash! Update: June 29th 2025. We stopped by again as we passed through the area. This time I had to reduce the rating, and I hope that it was just a bad day for them. The staff was busy, but my son finished his drink before the food arrived and his refill never came until we waved someone down to refill it AFTER he finished his entire plate, which was given to him 5 minutes after the drink was emptied. The country fried steak, a staple meal we love, tasted like the meat went bad. We did let them know, but this was 2 of 5 meals so it was a fairly significant impact. However the manager did state that this was a corporate policy change on how it is to be prepared, so if you like the old way it was cooked let them know first.

Very disappointed this last visit and the past couple of times in a row .This place hasent been the same in years , potato’s not brown cryspy but just dry burnt .The country steak was just bad ,dry chewy, and u couldn’t even cut with the steak knife . For those prices and quality food pro-ably stick to something local.

Seafood restaurant
Bonefish Grill is a contemporary grill chain that offers a seafood-centric menu along with steaks and cocktails. The restaurant operates from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, providing a range of dining experiences with some affordable options. It's known for its lively atmosphere, especially during happy hour, making it a convenient spot for unwinding after a long day with various drinks and tasty appetizers. The menu features diverse options from steak to lobster, complemented by well-crafted drinks.
Great ambiance, the cocktails were crafted perfectly. The bread was served hot and the dipping oil was out of this world. The lobster was delicious too. We didn’t feel rushed. I highly recommend.

Came in for Mother's Day at lunch to find sticky unfinished floors. Took 50 min to order and get the food. Bourbon glazed salmon was 3 out of 5, sweet and not spicy at all. Mahi Mahi was horrible, fishy taste and not much else, shrimp on top was great. Side of green beans came with ends not trimmed. Looks like they expect the customer to do what they should have done during prep work. Even the Bang bang shrimp was not as spicy as it used to be years ago. Best thing out of the whole dinner was the bread and oil dip, that was spot on. At the end, I was charged $40 for the Mahi Mahi that was listed at $32.50 on the month's special menu. Took 12 more minutes to get that fixed. Service was extremely slow. It took almost an hour to leave after we finished our food. Really dissapointing, we won't come back again, there are much better choices in Tri-Cities.

Don't eat the crab cakes. They are dreadful. They are greasy and crumbly. They don't taste right. The Bang-Bang Shrimp was outstanding. You are missing out if you don't get an order. For desert I had Johnny Walker Blue, a double, on the rocks. Worth every penny I paid. My lady friend had a pomegranate martini. She loved it.
Bad W — Google review
I don't go here often because it's on the pricey side but this was the first time that I was disappointed pretty much across the board. Went here for my birthday last week and I would say that the only thing that didn't disappoint was my martini. The service was not good, the food was not cooked how it was ordered, the bang bang shrimp usually has a bit of a spicy kick and there was no heat whatsoever. Our server didn't even take our drink orders, we had to track him down after we ordered our food to ask for drinks. All the steaks were undercooked to the point where we all had some bites left over that we didn't eat because it was too rare. My daughter ordered green beans and her plate showed up with steamed broccoli instead. When we told our server, he came back a few minutes later and said they were out of the beans. So he offered for her to get a different side which is what he should have done in the first place, not just assumed that broccoli would be the best substitution. They are clearly in the process of remodeling as the floor was all torn up with uneven surfaces and a real eye sore. When you go and spend nearly $200 to have a nice birthday dinner and that is your experience, it kinda makes you not want to go back there again. If they keep this up, I don't see them being open much longer as there were only a few other tables with people at them. This used to be a higher-end restaurant and one of my favorite places... disappointing.

I have always had such a positive experience here that I knew I had to come for my birthday. when we arrived, I had a reservation and they did not have a table for us. luckily, we were able to squeeze into a booth. They were very busy, so we tried to be understanding. My husband ordered his steak medium -well done... well his steak came beyond well done. it looked like it was put into a panini presser well done. Another plate was pasta, and it had no flavor, sauce was dry. just very disappointing since the food is always 10/10. On the positive side the drinks and the band bang shrimp never fail here 10/10.
Gaby R — Google review
First off, shout out to Alex, our waiter, for putting up with our group of 8, answering our dumb questions, and doing an excellent job! The food was delicious, and the pineapple martinis are absolutely amazing. After two, we switched to pineapple martini shots. We originally came in to celebrate my wife's birthday and get some bang bang shrimp. Everything was great, and the service was the best we have had in a while.

This was one of the few places which was open on July 4th. We had a dinner reservation just in case (party of 7). The restaurant was nice in terms of interior. We placed our drinks and order. The food was really good. Started with few drinks (parker margarita is a must try), couple of beers, Bang banh shrimp, crab cakes, salmon with sides - brussels sprouts. The bread and oil which they served was way too good. Could resist asking for more. The girl who served us was very polite but the guy who came to serve our drinks was little confused and sounded rude (at least that's how we all felt, wasn't sure if he wanted to sound rude). Hence the 4 stars on service. Otherwise overall good experience dining here.

This place used to be coveted for being one of the best places to dine. This place is fancy fast food at best now. We got Steak, Salmon, Burgers, Calamari, Bang Bang Shrimp, Brussel Sprouts, Cod and not a single one of those items were quality meals. Service was lame. They messed up 3 orders and tried to blame us. Honestly, this place isn't even enjoyable. Food was not satisfying at all. Only one of the 6 of us enjoyed the food, and it was a burger. Save your money. Go elsewhere. Won't be coming back

The padded ground playground was cool. Big to keep my boy busy. Then just around the corner was the carousel 🎠 of dreams. My son really enjoyed that . We did two rounds and played the ring game with the staff. Nice place to kill time for about three hours.

This would be a great park in the summer with a great playground and a good sports complex being built. We went to see the 911 memorial and part of the building erected there. It feels like a sacred spot to me thinking about the many people, of all walks of life, that lost their lives on that day and thinking about the repercussion since then.

Nice place for weekend activities! Me and my friends had a lot of time riding the merry go around! The staff is extremely friendly compared to big cities. The place was really clean and it was super fun! 100% recommended for both kids and adults!

This place is awesome! Kids play area has soft turf for safety and covered so it’s not super hot for the kids to play. Water area is great. Baseball fields are amazing

Showed online that it was open but when we got there it was closed and the water area outside was not on. But kids had fun on playground non the less. I would like to go back when it's open.

Carousel is definitely a highlight here but there is always one or the other type of face painting and that too absolutely free. Me n my nephew happens to go here quite often. Mostly for the rides in the evening and once there was a sunset festival which was more or less hawaian celebrations. The facility is small but good enough for small meetings or events and the fields are huge to host an event. Playground could also be used but i am not sure. Kids section has a water play area and slides area so they have fun . Adults can take a walk or play anything outdoor on the fields . A ride at carousel with an infant or child is included. ( u hear it right. Two people use one ticket) Hawaian festival was great. All guests were given free garland to wear. There were almost 15 food n icecream trucks. Hola hoop free workshop and a dance workshop too . You can get ur pets here . The carousel ticket is $5 n a meal was $7( isn’t that great price???)

Nature & Parks
Badger Mountain Community Park is a spacious and attractive neighborhood park in the tri cities area, offering various sports facilities, a playground, a splash pad, and a popular off-leash dog area. It stands out as one of the larger parks in the region and benefits from its proximity to convenient amenities such as a car wash, Dutch restaurant, and Yokes grocery store. Families with children appreciate the park's vibrant atmosphere due to the abundance of kids for their little ones to play with.
This is a great park. Lots of open field space, baseball fields, a small basket ball court, a sports themed splash pad, a playground with big and small kids equipment and it's near wonderful walking trails. There's some shade provided by trees, but it could definitely use more. In the back in the park is a huge, well shaded dog park, split for large and small dogs. It's awesome.

Beautiful park. It’s one of the bigger ones in tri cities. I find it convenient having a car wash, Dutch, and a yokes right next door. My daughter loves coming here for the ammount of kids she can play with. They have a splash park on during the warmer months, a clean playground with enough bark and no graffiti, cigarette butts or any other unwanted trash around here. They have a small basketball court ,a full baseball field and a jogging trail through the whole park.

City of Richland had us pay to reserve the covered shelter for our company picnic and they obviously don’t take care of it. There was a large wasps nest and a couple children were stung and a couple staff members.

Great park! Took two stars off because there is an EXTREMELY rusty and sharp step on the playground. See picture.
Garrett — Google review
It would be a nice park but all the grass is painted. My kids look yellow green after playing in it. Not just the clothes and the shoes. Colors the skin too. Naturally green grass doesn’t rub off the color like that. My shoes are ruined and the kids clothes had to be washed 4 times to clean off the paint. Even the bathtub is stained after the kids washed.
Mariya C — Google review
Been here multiple times, alone and with the family. I think it's around 6 miles for the entire loop. There are two sides to the mountain you can go up and a couple different incline paths you can choose from; I'd say easy to moderate difficulty comparatively. Much of the loop hike is actually flat. There's nothing for shade up there so dress appropriately and bring enough water because hit can get really hot under the blazing sun. Really pretty views at the top and generally there's a nice breeze. Pros: Nice views, approachable hike intensity for most, multiple path options, never felt crowded or too busy, family friendly, joggable. Cons: Can get very hot with virtually no shade cover, no option for those looking for a highly intense incline.

Visitors can enjoy the well-maintained paths with amenities such as restrooms, picnic tables, and a playground at the trailhead area. Badger Mountain Trail is a beautiful and well-maintained trail that’s perfect for a day outdoors! The full hike is about 3.2 miles round trip with an 800-foot elevation gain. We took it at a slower pace and finished in about 1 hour and 20 minutes, which made it enjoyable and not too intense. There’s plenty of parking available, and the trail is very family-friendly with a good number of people out enjoying the day. We saw lots of dogs along the way, and it was great to see that everyone was picking up after their pets. It’s a great local hike with beautiful views and a welcoming vibe—highly recommend for all skill levels!

What a great journey walking up this mountain with my littles. We enjoyed every minute of it. Our 1st time visiting Washington and I love it here. The people are so welcoming and genuine. If I lived here I can walk this weekly. Thank you Jesus for making this possible.
Nikia J — Google review
Really enjoyed this hiking trail, perfect for a nice stimulating work out, it is alittle dusty (hence no trees or plants) with lots of tumble weeds and spiky seeds, but also lots of desert/dry area flowers (i went early april) seen lots of other walker/joggers all ages, and acouple people walking their dogs. You're not allowed to go off the trail, and their are many signs stating this along the trail. This is a little unsatisfying, but I'm assuming it's to keep dust levels down and plant life growing. There is a power tower at the top, and you can see a great view. Did hear a rattle snake near the bottom of the hill. Seen lots of cute ground loving birds, not many flying though. *DO NOT LEAVE IMPORTANT THINGS IN YOUR CAR AS THERE HAVE BEEN MANY BROKEN INTO CARS AND SMASHED WINDOWS TO TAKE WALLETS AND VALUABLES AT THIS LOCATION.*

I've hiked Badger over 200 times. There are 3 trails that go to the top. 2 are on the east side and the other is on the west. The west is the easiest. The other 2 are steeper and shorter. None of the three are very difficult. I've seen kids as young as 4 hike the"steepest" trail.

Situated near the picturesque Yakima River, this tasting room stands out as one of the country's finest, featuring an elegant ambiance and a full-service restaurant that serves delectable dishes.

A must visit! Outstanding wine and phenomenal service! My boyfriend visited the winery last year and shipped a bottle home for us to share. Due to a number of issues, the bottle was shipped, returned, destination revised, and shipped again but this time to DC! Huge shout out to Mitch for his patience with us. Roughly 8 months later, we finally opened the bottle for an at home steak dinner. Conflict 2021 was decedent to say the least - smooth rich berries with a bit of sweetness. Such a treat! Thank you! I will be telling the boyfriend to buy another bottle next time he visits... but this time to carry it home in his luggage. LOL.

We visited on Saturday during Memorial Day weekend. The tasting room is pet friendly and family friendly! The wine was great and the staff were amazing. GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE. Came here for lunch and ordered different appetizers, and was very impressed with the service and the food. The winery has indoor and outdoor seating, and was not crowded at all. Everything is clean and spaced out so you can enjoy your own space. Kudos to the crew running the place, too. The host was quick to greet and seat us, the waitress was quick to get our order in and kept our drinks topped off, and we never had to ask for assistance. DEFINITELY will be back, and will recommend this place to family and friends. MY FOOD REVIEW: The Pork Belly Tacos are delicious. There’s only 3 and they could be the perfect portion for a single person. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza was the best plate we ordered. The crust is thin and perfect, and the topping are super fresh. Fantastic flavor. The Wagyu Beef Carpaccio was very… different. It’s a small dish of wagyu beef strips marinating in an EXTREMELY flavorful sauce. It’s not enough portion for a meal, but definitely a good add-on if you’d like some amazing flavor with your dinner.

Manhattan Project National Historical Park Hanford; Branch B Reactor--Headquarters

Historical landmark
Visiting the Manhattan Project National Historical Park Hanford, particularly the B Reactor, is an unforgettable experience that delves into a pivotal moment in history. The tour lasts about four hours, including a scenic bus ride where knowledgeable guides share fascinating insights about the area and its significance. Once at the reactor site, you'll be greeted by passionate docents who have firsthand experience with the project and provide in-depth information that may leave you wanting to take notes!
This was an amazing tour. 4 hours but 1 1/2 hours on the bus going there. The tour guide on the bus was great, and made the trip there and back to quickly giving facts about the area. The on site guides were amazing as well. They seemed to have all worked there at point and all seemed to have a strong understanding on the whole process. With the amount of information they shared it felt like I needed to take notes. Amazing what they did in 1943 before computers and how quickly they did it. Highly recommend, and you won't even glow after the tour!

Need to comeback during tour season. They have some exhibits here and staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, shared several stories about local history with the land, people and Hanford site. Gave several recommendations of things to see during the winter months as tours only run April-Fall.

Well worth spending the time to take this unique tour - especially if you are interested in US history and/or technology. Very informative and well run. After the bus ride from the visitor's center and an intro talk, you are free to go through the facility. The docents are quite knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. But do it soon. I understand that after the 2024 season, they will pause the reactor tour for 2 or 3 years to perform upgrades.

I don't know how you "love" a museum dedicated to the construction of the atomic bomb, but I do think learning about the Manhattan Project is worth while. It was an amazing feat and is worth studying. There are really two ways to do the Manhattan Project. Short version: Go to the tour starting point. Get your National Parks passport stamped, watch the 15 min video and look at all the pictures. Normal version: Plan for 4 hours and reserve you spot on the tour in advance. The reactor is about 30 miles from where the tour starts and the tour is two hours. This is the most comprehensive and gets you though as much as possible. Either way. Go. We can never forget.

Second time we were here. This time to bear Gene who is a volunteer former employee of the site who talked about How safe was it there? He was entertaining and had lots of show and tells of what was sold as health products containing radium. Spoke of the Radium Girls who painted clock numbers. Good information. Wish we could have made the tours into the sites but tickets are difficult to get unless they r reserved far in advance

We did the B-Reactor tour and I recommend it to everyone. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very willing to answer any questions people have. The B-Reactor is very well preserved and shows what it took to make plutonium for nuclear weapons.
Megon K — Google review
This tour is interesting showing a few old buildings and hearing the stories of those evicted from their homes so Hanford could be built. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. The restroom break was too long after the tour started. The B reactor tour is more interesting.
Alice — Google review
Absolutely loved the tour. The docents are very knowledgable about everything there is to explain and the facility is awesome. The tour was fully booked for the whole month when I wanted to go here, but there was 3 available spots when I went there directly and some people didn't turn up, so the 6 of us went for the tour.

The Dive is an excellent American bar that operates from 11 AM to 10 PM. It is renowned for its extensive menu and delightful ambiance. Despite being a little secluded, The Dive maintains a relaxed and welcoming environment. The cuisine at this establishment is top-notch, with standout dishes like Poutine and Wings receiving high praise. The gravy in the Poutine is exceptional, accompanied by top-quality tri tip. While the cheese could potentially be improved, it's not a major concern.
Came in during lunch with my coworkers and we all enjoyed what we ordered. I got the Cuban, and it was absolutely amazing. (I lived in Florida for a few years, in a Cuban community and the dive can absolutely have bragging rights on one of the best Cuban sandwiches you’ll get around Richland!) The vibe was awesome. Playing some late 90s early 2000s grunge music. They had a lot of decor to match the vibe as well! Staff was friendly and made sure all customers were taken care of in a timely manner. Can’t wait to come back to town and try more!

Food is great, service is great, drinks are strong. Love the outdoor seating area. That all being said it really needs freshened up on the inside, and the menus are in bad shape. A group of us went and nearly left because although the reviews were high we were "judging the book by its cover". Even though the food and service is good I would honestly be selective of who I invited or recommended it to based off of the overall lack luster of the location. If you don't mind that totally recommend .

Got my food in about 7 minutes. Music was fine, but was too loud IMO especially with no one there at the time, service was great. Expensive. Ordered the brisket sandwich, mild. It was okay. Fries were these awesome thin potato wedges with a lasting crisp, I might go back just for those. Fry sauce was great. Place was clean.

I've hit The Dive a few times now and it's usually a great stop. The Tri Tip poutine fries are great as is the French dip and Cuban sandwich. The fries have been a bit hit or miss as sometimes they are overcooked and other times they are perfect but never inedible. The fried pickles are also very good. I'd say the weakest aspect of our meal has been the beer which seems to rotate a bit however the group I go with has yet to really land on one they really like and have to order every time. Go for the food, sample the beers for a good one and you'll have a good time. The food is so good we always tear into it and forget to take a photo.

Restaurant
I have visited Fiction @ J. Bookwalter several times and overall it is a satisfactory establishment. They recently opened Fable, aiming to transform the restaurant into a Michelin-starred venue. However, they still have a long way to go despite their high prices. The menu is not extensive but does change according to the seasons. The wedge salad was an interesting twist on the traditional version, offering a unique experience compared to other places.
The duck was nothing short of delectable, perfectly cooked with a rich, savory depth that lingered on the palate. The Brussels sprouts, however, stole the show, emerging as one of the finest side dishes I’ve had in recent memory—crispy, yet tender, with a balance of flavors that was simply exquisite. The honey bourbon chicken, while flavorful, felt a bit understated in comparison, offering a pleasant sweetness but lacking the bold impact I had hoped for. As for the avocado fries, they were a delightful surprise—crispy on the outside, with a creamy, indulgent center that paired wonderfully with their dipping sauce.

Great place for dinner and wine. The whole family enjoyed everything for dinner clearing everything on the plate. Definitely worth looking at again and highly recommend.

Excellent flatiron steak (the au poivre sauce in particular was standout), a surprisingly delicious sangria, and a delectable cheesecake. I would also like to thank Marcie and Kiera for their wonderful service tonight, making the place feel super welcoming. I'm only in Tri-Cities for a work trip, but this is the kind of experience that would make me want to come back for leisure.

The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is fun and very spacious. My food was 3.5 stars. The duck breast was tender and flavorful but the brussel sprouts were too soft and sweet. The restaurant has a parking lot

It’s my birthday today! So we all (10 top, including 2 toddlers) went and ate an early dinner. We had outside seating with a beautiful view of the tasting room and a nice grassy area for the babies to toddle around. The staff is very well trained, and were very accommodating. The food and drinks were excellent. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely go there again for any future celebrations.

The environment is beautiful but the food is not good. I had the scallops and they were only seared on one side, the sauce was mediocre at best. The mushroom appetizer is on a pastry that was raw and doughy. Duck breast was chewy. Coconut rice is good but boring. It's rice with carrots and coconut, pea puree is too sweet and unbalanced. Pork chop was overcooked but had decent flavor. The yellow rice with the pork tastes like drywall. The slaw was okay. We left everything on the table. Go for the scenery and maybe try the pizza. The waiter was extremely nice, quick, and helpful. The wine was good!

We came to Fiction through a recommendation.. and Fiction did not disappoint! The atmosphere was great, not too dark. Our waitress was amazing. Very knowledgeable and super helpful and attentive. The food was to die for! The best pork chop I’ve ever had! This might be our new date night joint!

Update: 20 minutes to get first drinks, glasses ran dry, out of porchetta, halibut was dry ......The server comped us a bit, so I appreciate it, they just need to figure this out. The Oysters and Champagne event was legit! I followed up with bacon wrapped dates and the halibut! Fiction is always a great experience and arguably the best restaurant in the Tricities. Bookwalter wine continues to be lackluster and mediocre, so I can't consider Fiction a 5 star restaurant.

Japanese steakhouse
Fujiyama Japanese Steak House & Bar is a highly enjoyable and family-friendly dining venue. The children particularly love the entertaining show provided by a skilled cook whose name escapes memory, but his culinary skills are impeccable. The service is prompt, with timely refills of water at a spacious table. This restaurant caters to both small gatherings and large groups, providing a delightful ambiance for all.
First time here was so fun food was amazing and had such a great server.

Always have such a good time here! Kids love the show. I forget our cooks name but he always cooks the food perfect! Service was fast. Waters refilled timely and it was a full table! Love coming with just my family and big groups. Yum yum sauce is delicious. Get the fried rice, it is worth it! It is on the more expensive side so we never go without the show. Tons of left overs! From what I have seen you need to make reservations for the show or you will likely get sat in the regular dining area.

My son and I did the private dining option, which does not include the show of the chefs, but it also doesn't require the time or amount of people either. Salmon was delicious, fried rice was cooked perfectly, but the vegetables needed to be grilled a little longer for my liking.
Ruben C — Google review
Their staff was great! Our hibachi chef Cruz & server Gaga were wonderful! Cruz made sure our cooking surface was clean and the portions were correct and even swapped out a steak that didn't pass muster. Gaga made recommendations and even caught an error in the ticket. The rest of the staff was quick to clear dishes and make sure we had everything we needed. Happy to keep coming back!

Sunday early dinner was EXCELLENT. I have gluten issues and our chef Curry was able to accommodate me without changing the experience for the rest of the table. Exceptional service, quite fun atmosphere. Their birthday ritual is LOUD so beware if you like it quiet. If you enjoy big noises and dinner theater, this place is EPIC.

This place used to be a fun friendly place to dine at. Since, Dave has left and chefs not so entertaining anymore, I rather spend $164.00 elsewhere. Not to mention, the hostess has no customer service etiquette.
D. R — Google review
Update... They don't tell you about the gratuity fee they automatically charge, and then when asked about the gratuity fee, they say it's for the company and not the employees... Seems sketch. This is a great place to have dinner. The atmosphere is fun and the employees are inviting. I can't remember our chef's or server's name, but they were both great. The food was amazing and fun. Great time, thank you.

Ordered fried rice and yakisoba and got food sickness. Place is understaffed and staffed with people looking like they just woke up (other than the bus boy and the cooks). Front desk lady wasn't happy whatsoever. Atmosphere was bland, a few small pictures but 90% just was just red wall with mediocre lighting. Habochi fan was loud. Place needs a good cleaning for sure. Front waiting area has trim missing in multiple places, and dirt stained rugs. Front entrance reminded me of a gas station with business cards on the wall organized in a homemade board that looked poorly made and dirty. Last time I went to this restaurant 6 years or so ago i could swear i recieved twice as much food as i did this time (still thoroughly hungery afterwards). Ordered the $9.50 mochi balls for desert and only recieved two small balls. The picture in the menu showed a plate of 4. We were disappointed for sure especially knowing how much these are to buy at the store. I'm not one to make reviews like this but for a restaurant charging 30-50 a plate it needs to be said.

Japanese restaurant
Sakura Restaurant is a modest eatery that offers a diverse selection of traditional Chinese and Japanese cuisine, including a sushi bar. The establishment is known for its excellent sushi and friendly and accommodating staff. However, there have been observations of numerous Grub Hub orders being expedited for delivery drivers. While the restaurant's understanding of gluten-free requirements may be lacking, their food remains top-notch with fresh and satisfying flavors.
We found Sakura Restaurant tucked back in Tuscan Plaza off Keene Rd near Guage Blvd. Everyone is greeted immediately upon entry and seated or served take out. The server's are very kind and helpful in making sure you have a great experience. While there are big screen sports the ambiance is conversational. There is a bar. The restaurant is clean. Paul and Brian attend to business and kitchen operations. We ordered Singapore Noodles and Phad Thai ( both highly recommended), both dishes were spiced perfectly and served family style per our request. The egg drop soup is perfect and tasty as are the egg rolls. Another very delicious dish is the moo shu pork, we order extra pancakes because servings are large. We may see you there if you eat in. We enjoyed every meal.

I used to be a regular but disgruntled customer because of their repetitive slights. I’m over it and not gonna deal with supporting an overall terrible small business. They regularly would leave out utensils. I’d go to the extent to make it a priority with comment or note but they’d still leave it out. That’s just cheap!!! The food is substandard. The crab Rangoon was cold and the ratio of their imitation crab to cream cheese was off and on top of that, they’d hardly out any filling into it as well. Soooo cheap. The eggless drop soup was laughable. There’s no egg. Maybe one in their entire pot because there’s nothing in what they offer as a small. Embarrassing really with how cheap they are. The teriyaki sauce is soooo runny. Completely watered down. They’ll mess up your order regularly and on this occasion they shorted me rice on the chicken teriyaki order. I called and gave them my two cents without resolve. Just gonna leave a blanket of reviews for this characters here. Take notice. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Sakura sucks!!!

Me and my boyfriend have been regulars at Sakura, and usually stop by for lunch. They have amazing California rolls, with a hefty amount of crab and avocado. The size of the rolls are amazing for the price. I have never gone anywhere that charges so cheap for so much sushi! Not only that but my family, and friends have ordered Sakura out for years. Their dumplings, teriyaki, orange chicken, and other entrees are definitely up to standard, and they have the best egg food yung in town! I definitely recommend it. The customer service can be a bit iffy depending on who your server is, but the hostess is always so nice.

The food was flavorful, above average. We tried vegetable delight, avacado rolls and vegetable rolls, and veg lo-mein. The servant was great with explaining everything we had questions about. As it gets a bit busy, we had to wait a bit longer to receive a check and to-go boxes. The receptionist observed and took care of the rest. Overall, we all enjoyed the food, time well spent!

The food is not good, sushi is alright for the price but everything else is not good at all especially the general Tso’s chicken, it’s probably the worst I have ever had. It definitely looks better than it tastes. They do give you large portions of food but that doesn’t matter if you don’t eat it because of super bad taste. I just wish I could get my money back.

Had a date night with my husband here over the weekend. The server is kind and accommodating. Food is tasty with good portion, and was served fast. We have a good time chatting and the leftover is still enough for another two-person’s full meal. We don’t come here often so feel we will visit again very soon given the positive experience.

great customer service! one of the dishes we ordered (the lo mein) was incredibly mediocre and had no flavor, and we were hesitant to say anything. ultimately because I only ate a few bites, we asked to take it off the bill and they obliged. we really appreciated this & enjoyed our sushi and general tso chicken!

Very tasty food. The soup was especially delicious. The fortune cookies were good but tasted a little strange. We ordered hot and sour soup, miso soup and three different rolls. The eel was my favorite.
