Lewiston sits at the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater rivers, offering easy access to boating, fishing, and waterfront trails. It’s a popular gateway to Hells Canyon, one of North America’s deepest river gorges, with jet boat tours and outdoor adventures nearby. The city has strong ties to Lewis and Clark’s expedition, reflected in local landmarks and museums. Lewiston is also part of a growing wine region, with area vineyards and tasting rooms showcasing Idaho wines.
With favorites like Hells Canyon Smokehouse, Lewis & Clark Discovery Center, and The Bait Shop Grill, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Jeffrey's Restaurant and Antonio's Italian Cafe so you can get the best taste of Lewiston while you’re here. The waitress were so welcoming always made sure our coffee cup was full very intentive. Its such a small rural town . The waffle was good i got boston cream definitely should have got half order as I was full in 4 bites . My husband got german sausage and eggs and hashbrown was very good. We are here from New York.

Amazing cafe as the name suggests! The food is delicious and well prepared. Good service and a cozy ambience for a Sunday brunch or lunch. There is plenty of parking space available. The cafe is open from 6am till 2pm afternoon, there is a slight waiting so better to show up beforehand. We had the cheesecake 🧇 waffle half portion, biscuits and gravy with sausages and poached egg, Egg Florentine and Fajita Omelette. I generally never indulge myself in waffles or pancakes but I did here! And the cheesecake raspberry waffles were top notch!
Priyanka L — Google review
I stopped by Waffles ’n More on the weekend during our roadtrip and had an unforgettable meal. I ordered the Southern omelette with a side waffle, and wow—it was absolutely amazing! The omelette was perfectly fluffy and packed with savory flavor, and the waffle was golden, crispy on the edges, and tender inside—a match made in brunch heaven. We also had the cheesecake waffle for the table, which was soo delicious and heavenly. Bear in mind the waffles are big and heavy! The service really made the visit extra special. Our server (short hair lady slightly older, couldn’t get her name) was friendly, attentive, and had a great smile that made the experience feel welcoming from the moment we sat down. One heads-up: the place was a bit crowded when we visited, and on weekends the wait time can stretch to about 30–40 minutes. But trust me—the food and service are worth every minute of the wait. Overall, Waffles ’n More delivered an exceptional brunch experience. I’ll definitely be back—and highly recommend it for anyone craving hearty breakfast dishes made with care!
Arnav J — Google review
My partner took me here as it is one of his childhood memories. Super busy, so service was a little slow, but that’s natural. Great waffles and eggs cooked perfectly. Yum! 😋
Kathy R — Google review
The staff saw my broken hand and asked if I wanted my waffle cut up so it'd be easier to eat. So so sweet and thoughtful.
Koi — Google review
Great little place to eat. Lots of menu choices! The staff was very attentive and made good recommendations. The food portions are large and a great value for the price. Their 1/2 size has rows in bigger than many restaurants full order. The waffles were great and fluffy and the egg cooked perfectly.
John R — Google review
Have eaten here multiple times. The food is consistently good. At least breakfast is, have never made it for lunch. The service was fine but nothing outstanding. Food took a little longer than has in the past but not unreasonable long for how busy it was. My only complaint is how loud it always is. Its a small place and packed, not sure how it could be fixed, but it makes conversation nearly impossible.
Andrea S — Google review
My friend & I split an omelet with biscuits and gravy. We had enough for leftovers the next day! Our waitress was so very nice & efficient. Definitely will return!

Park
Located in Nez Perce County, Idaho, Locomotive Park is a popular attraction featuring the last logging locomotive used by Potlatch Forest Industries. The park offers a range of activities such as kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, hiking and camping across its 960-acre land. While it's relatively small in size during most of the year, it truly comes alive during the winter with a fantastic light show around the holidays.
Love love LOVE taking my kiddos to this festive winter wonderland! We always have sooo much fun!!

We really enjoyed walking around the park looking at Christmas lights. Lewiston, you really out did yourself with the lights by adding music to it.

I came after the Christmas rush and it's a really cool light display.. Definitely worth checking out if you can..

Lots of trash left behind from the homeless. Seeing this place with trash on the holiday fireplace display was pretty sad. Here was quite a few homeless people sleeping behind it too.

I have been wanting to stop here to look at the pretty lights and Michael treated me to dinner and Christmas lights after I got home from work. The Best!!
Diana T — Google review
The annual tradition of Christmas lights àt Locomotive Park brings thousands to see the festive lights every year. It is beautiful and family oriented. Parking is reasonably available and it is a lovely addition to the community and far visitors as well. The lights are on right after Thanksgiving and remain so until well after Christmas.

They have the park all lit up for the Holidays! It is absolutely beautiful and the kids have such a good time walking thru it, playing on the train and seeing Santa in person on Saturdays in December. Get on down there and a HAPPY HOLIDAY TO ALL!!!

Sunset Park

Park
I live 50 miles from Lewiston and we often come to town for shopping etc. When the wifey has a hair or nail appointment, I usually sit with the dog out in the truck or drive aimlessly wasting gas. Today, I typed in a dog friendly park to Google and Sunset park popped up. What a hidden gem. Playground for the kiddos, tennis courts, baseball diamonds. Two that I counted. A huge Frisbee golf course, and acres of nice grass to walk on. The peppers had a blast wandering and people watching. Will definitely return.
Kevin W — Google review
We had a blast. Brought a BBQ and played baseball. The nets aren't up yet for pickleball, but we love doing that, too. Many enjoy the Frisbee golf as well. It's a great place to have fun with family and friends and enjoy the good weather.
Amy C — Google review
While staying at the dog friendly Hampton Inn Hotel, we could see this park from our room. A short drive from area hotels, this is a beautiful, well maintained park. Dog and kid friendly. The people using the park were super friendly. Pickleball courts. Disc golf course, picnic areas, playground, and clean restrooms. Enjoy
W B — Google review
Many activities one park. Their recently expanded parking lot ensures easy access. There is a pavilion for groups. Pickleball courts, basket ball court, base ball field, soccer, discgolf and a play ground for the kids. All on a nice peice of acreage that is clean and well maintained including the bathrooms.

Nice park. Frisbee golf softball field, pickleball, playground, picnic cover, restrooms, etc. Great sunset views from the courts.

The Discgolf course was fun to play. I got 2 new guys to throw for the first time.
Donald C — Google review
Great, wide open spaces. Lots of terrain variety; hills, lots of flat spaces, great 9-hole Frisbee golf, softball field, T- ball field, nice playground! Anybody fit pickle ball?... best courts around! Plenty of covered tables with BBQs available to reserve through parks and rec. and of course bathrooms

The establishment is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Additionally, there is a restaurant called Strike and Spare within the bowling alley that serves delicious food at reasonable prices. It's an ideal destination for families seeking entertainment and good eats.
Great family outing! Niece had her first four bagger. Had speed sensors to tell how fast each ball traveled. Service was great!
Patrick M — Google review
Mean, my family had a great time bowling. But then the arcade games we did arcade games and I spent all my coins on this one game. I was trying to win the 100 Bucks, but I kept losing that game is rigged and also trying to get some stuffed animals but. They were smooched in there to where I couldn't get any ou Service was nice. The workers were really nice but we need to change some things

They also played a great variety of music, covering multiple genres and eras so all ages hear something they like. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Nestled in a cozy corner, Jeffrey's Restaurant is a delightful gem that serves up an array of mouthwatering breakfast and lunch options. With a menu boasting various combo choices, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The friendly staff ensures quick service, making it easy to see why this spot is so beloved—closing at 2:30 PM speaks volumes! Whether you're looking to savor a hearty meal or simply relax with endless coffee refills, Jeffrey's has you covered.
I love smaller towns and taking in the mom and pop cafés. FRIENDLY staff and tasty eats. The Cinnamon Roll filled a 10" plate. Best I have had in a long while. The omelet and homemade cinnamon raisin bread were excellent as well. Thank you Jeffrey's Resturant #betterbytheminutelife

We came for the homemade GF breads, but the owner was recovering from knee surgery. Still absolutely delighted with the food. Garbage omelette was excellent but the best part was the actual in house grated hash browns. The kind only made by grandma or mom from baked potatoes. Try Peri Peri the house hot sauce too!
Sarah C — Google review
Serves delicious breakfast, lots of combo options! About every lunch category you could want. The workers move quick and are very nice! No wonder this place is popular enough to close at 2:30pm. Also if you just want to chill and drink coffe, theyll keep it coming (free refills) , this place seems like a secret kept tucked away. Their is also a bowling alley right next to it in the same building. (With an awesome arcade) Bring the family and eat some lunch on a Saturday then go right to bowling and have a blast.
Robert H — Google review
The food was good & the price great. We split a chicken fried steak with 2 eggs & 2 large pancakes - all part of 1 meal under $20. Real whipped butter for the pancakes & real creamer, not the nasty margarine packets & poison coffee mate packets. As soon as a coffee or a water was low, it got refilled without us having to ask. I'd go again, especially because of the price factor
Mrk S — Google review
Old school diner and the service folks were nice. I did not love my dish nor did the wife. Maybe breakfast is a better option?
Brian H — Google review
So glad I found this place- was craving a waffle, and Jeffrey's provided. Coffee, waffle, egg, and bacon. The waffle was fabulous! Crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Service was friendly and quick. Will definitely recommend; too bad I'm not from here, as I would become a frequent guest.

Antonio's Italian Cafe is a must-visit spot for those looking to indulge in delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Kirk, goes above and beyond to ensure that guests feel at home and are well taken care of. The menu offers a variety of delectable options, from pesto tortellini to mouthwatering pizza like the carni. The salad bar is impressive, although some items may come with an additional cost.
Can't say enough about the delicious food, friendly staff, lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Sincerely appreciate and enjoy coming here, fries, and clam chowder are out of this world good..wait!!! Really it's all good, see for yourself lol!! Bon appetite 😋

Best pizza i've ever had! The carni is seriously good pizza. I've been there 3 times, and can't wait to go back. Nice salad bar. They play fantastic music, perfect for an Italian restaurant.

The service was excellent and the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was delicious. I'll go back for the breadstick alone. Great job!
Steve M — Google review
I was excited to try this place because I know the owner is a Code Red coach and they have a Code Red menu! The waiter was very friendly and helpful. He came by to check on us just the right amount of times. I have the stuffed (or rather smothered) mushrooms with crab and cream cheese. I think I like them better that way because mushrooms have never really been my thing. I also had the salmon and asparagus with a trip to the salad bar. Everything was cooked perfectly and the salad bar items were fresh. My friend got the Rainbow zoodles and gave me just a little bit to try. I will definitely be ordering some of those next time I come around. The relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a midday meal. Highly recommended!
Chelsy R — Google review
We really enjoyed the food here. The salad bar has a great selection (the meat is extra $). I got a pesto tortellini and it was amazing. I have 2 criticisms and that is that the garlic bread butter tasted off. I couldn’t put my finger on what was off about it. The other criticism is that the bruschetta didn’t have the traditional balsamic drizzle that makes it delicious. Other than those two things we thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant and would eat here again!
Jessica S — Google review
Everything about this restaurant was great! Our server, the menu, and the atmosphere. It's a comfortable, casual, family type restaurant with a HUGE menu and a nice salad bar! I was excited to try the Code Red menu and it did not disappoint. The zucchini pasta "Rainbow Spaghetti" was WAY better than I imagined it would be. The steamed vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. I was very, very pleased with this restaurant and will be going back!
Stephanie W — Google review
They have a really excellent selection of wonderful pizzas as well as other delicious hot entrees. Their sandwiches are really well piled and you cannot beat the fresh salad bar which is almost impossible to find anywhere else. Our server was very very courteous and apologetic about a mild delay that we had in having someone assigned to us. This really is a five-star family atmosphere.
Rodney S — Google review
My food was great but others in my group weren't as happy. I had a slider burger & Shrimp Cargo from appetizers menu. Two people had the bite size steak which were far from bite size & were somewhat chewy. They'd had them before & they were good. In all fairness we did not complain. I have no doubt they would have made it right but they were so busy & it took a while & we needed to go. Another had ham and cheese sandwich. It's on a thick bun with American cheese. We had crepes, bread pudding & brownie for desserts & all were great.

Nestled in the heart of Lewiston, ID, Meriwether's Bistro is a delightful dog-friendly eatery that welcomes your furry friends to join you at outdoor tables for any meal of the day. With a strong emphasis on farm-to-table cuisine, their breakfast offerings include mouthwatering buttermilk pancakes, classic malted waffles, and delicious eggs benedict.
Very good, very fresh tasting. Server was great, friendly, & helpful. The house club sandwich is really good. The fries seemed doubled fried. Soft inside crisp outside. The sandwich portion is large and served with a dill pickle slice. The sandwich came with a choice of soup, salad , or fries.

Came in for the complimentary Continental breakfast provided with our room. Did not expect such a tasty and hearty offering. Then we were seated in the Meriwether's restaurant and served like we were full dining guests. The service was attentive, fast, and intuitive. Great service! I will be back just to eat at the restaurant.

This was hands down some of the best food we’ve ever had. We’re traveling over to kooskia from Portland and stayed here in Lewiston overnight. We got to the hotel and did the normal thing of looking around for dinner. Stumbled on this bistro inside the hells canyon hotel and wow - so glad we did! We got the pretzels, boneless wings, side salad, and the hummus plate. It was to die for! It was honestly so good we had to have it for breakfast the next morning. Thank you!!
Sarah P — Google review
Great stop off to get a wonderful burger and fries. My test of a great place is the tartar sauce and there’s was fabulous. Thanks for hosting us while we visit Lewiston, ID.
Joyce M — Google review
Went for the Christmas Eve menu. Good selection but was very small for the price. The crab cakes were good. Ordered the rib eyes. Overcooked and just dry. Salmon was a very small portion and thin. Others enjoyed the lobster ravioli. Was disappointed in the food for the price. Dessert was good. Service seriously lacked. No refills eating a dry steak you kinda want a drink. A party of 7 they brought 4 slices of bread. Was not checked on to say anything. Since they brought the wrong dressing for my salad by the time they came back with dinner it was to late. Just when your paying over 400 for dinner, service should be impeccable. The service sucked. Kinda disappointed with overall experience for dinner
J.J. — Google review
Went for an early Mother’s Day dinner with my family (party of 3) and had a 6:30 reservation. We were seated promptly on the patio, but unfortunately, we were never acknowledged by any staff after that. We waited 30 minutes, during which we watched our waitress serve other tables, including a large party that arrived after us, and even sit down to chat with them, but no one ever came to take our order or check in. We let the host know we were leaving, and she was very kind, but the lack of service was disappointing. The interior had only a few occupied tables while the patio was full so why seat guests where the staff clearly couldn’t keep up? Very disappointed and won’t be returning any time soon
Stephanie C — Google review
We went in for the holiday buffet and the quality of the food was not worth the price they charged. Hot dishes that were freshly placed were cold, the baron of beef was cold and dry, the salmon over cooked and also dry. They did have a wide variety of food to choose from, along with multiple different desserts, but a lot of the dishes lacked flavor and they had steakums sausage as one of the options. That's right, they charged $50 a plate just to serve there customers $2 frozen sausage. Multiple servers walked past our table without serving it, but then again, why display impeccable service when they automatically got 20% gratuity added to each bill. Selected two stars because of the variety of food, everything else was misleading and a huge disappointment, especially the quality of food for the price they changed.

Tyler as a bartender and server is amazing! King salmon was very good as well. Four stars due to one bartender leaving early before Tyler took over leaving none bartending.... she also made absolutely terrible drinks.

Wayback Cafe & Catering is a delightful spot that truly satisfies your cravings. On a recent visit, I ordered an array of dishes through an app for delivery to my workplace at CRCasino, and everything was simply scrumptious! From the MexiWrap and hearty potato salad to the ChiliBurger served generously with fries—so much chili you could hardly see the burger—each bite was a treat.
Ordered food through an app on Sunday Aug. 25th to be delivered to work at CRCasino. Everything was delicious and filling! MexiWrap, potato salad, ChiliBurger and fries (served open-faced, you couldn't see the burger from all the chili! YUM!) breakfast platter with eggs, French toast, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns, a pork chop platter with two chops, tons of brown gravy over the mashed potatoes, corn, side salad, and a cup of applesauce. Coworkers raved about each item and we were left happy and stuffed!

As we’re heading to the hotel we noticed this place off the main road and immediately decided that’s where we’re going for dinner. The look and atmosphere drew us in and the old fashion feeling didn’t disappoint. The service was good and we enjoyed our burgers. This beets going to McDonald’s a thousand times over.

Looking at this place online, I had high hopes for it only to be disappointed. The 50's vibe is really cool. Our server was really great and friendly, but I think he was the only one working the dining room. The nachos were meh. The milkshake was supposed to be peanutbutter and tasted like chocolate malt. My burger was over cooked, it was like a frozen patty from Walmart that was left on the grill for 30 minutes. The egg was supposed to be over easy and was completely cooked. If I lived closer, I would give this place another shot. It would be a great place for a carmeet. Just wish the food was better. They also have WAY too much on the menu. I feel like if they shortened the list on the menu, they could focus on quality over quantity.

Odd as this will read, we initially arrived because of geocache hidden but stayed because it was amazing! The hostess greeted us immediately. She gave us a dining options: we chose outside. We were hangry so we skipped apps to entrees. I landed on the 50/50 bacon burger ... it’s 50% ground beef, 50% ground bacon. Heaven on Earth. The strawberry ice cream soda was refreshing in the Idahoan sunshine. Felt like a celebrity from the attentive service by our server - highly recommend! 50/50 Bacon Burger California BLT

Great food and service the restaurant was 50's nostalgic love all the old music also. I had the deli roast beef on marble rye it was delicious. I would love to give a 5 star review because this place has SO MUCH potential, but I have some mixed feelings. I love the concept, the style/decor/uniforms, the menu is fun everything is authentic feeling and the food is great! HOWEVER, the place is very run down and needs repairs, service was not prompt nor was it good, one worker seemed to be on the nod while working. While we were there we actually watched 2 separate families get up and walk away because of poor service, it was NOT busy we were 1 of 2 tables there and there were 2 servers. We did not get prompt service and the 2nd table to leave before ordering was sitting there for 24 minutes before even getting menus or waters, another 25 minutes went by without service which prompted them to leave. I really hope the owner decides to screen employees and hold them accountable for Service because the food was excellent and the establishment has the potential to be so much more!

Amazing.... brings me way back......then back to the future......the breakfast and other meals are named for the golden era of rock and jazz and blues. The whole idea of the restaurant is amazing and peaceful. The staff is dressed as the mate era of popular music and cars......I visit the zoo next door as well because, I'm a taxi driver. Stop here once and you want another meal try them all......very very good.

Nestled along the scenic banks of the Clearwater River, Clearwater River Casino & Lodge offers a delightful blend of relaxation and entertainment. This casual riverside retreat features an inviting indoor pool, live performances, and a variety of dining options to satisfy your cravings. The casino itself boasts an elegant atmosphere with both smoking and non-smoking areas, housing around 600 video machines that promise endless fun. Open 24/7, it caters to night owls and early risers alike.
I stayed here on a motorcycle road trip. I showed up early, before check in time. The young woman at the desk tried, but couldn't get me into my room early. She was kind and willing to let me secure my bags in their check in area so that I could go out exploring in the local area. The king room was clean and comfortable. I had dinner in their sports bar, nothing big, just a burger and fries but they were really good. The bartender / server was prompt and friendly. I would also highly recommend the cookies from the snack bar at the other end of the casino. Overall, a pleasant stay!

We stayed one night at this hotel. Check-in is at 4pm. They won’t let you do it any earlier. Their restaurant was closed so we grabbed a bite at their sports bar. The rooms are nice but beds were uncomfortable . Price was decent for a last minute reservation. Staff was knowledgeable. The casino has a lot of different games. Machines are tight.
Nelida S — Google review
Well besides that most the staff is rude. They truly dont care about there customers. I heard security one night tell a customer, well idbwe dont get yours we take it from the next person. We dont need it. It may be true. This is one of the only places I've been where there willing to treat you that way. Thete comps are literally pathetic and its not like they don't have the money for it.

Well, the Creator blessed me, through the Clearwater River casino and through me my family. I walked in to the casino. Put a $20 bill in that $0.80 8 to 10 pushes in. I got free games and I hit the jackpot for $ 10,333.33. That took care of my mother's final expenses while she was with us and after. Forever grateful and what beautiful staff not just physically beautiful but their hearts. One of the staff members actually came outside and gave me a hug before I left. Wasn't that beautiful?. I will definitely come back.

Love the bingo. Thought the seafood buffet at somewhere just south of $200 for 3 ppl was not worth it. Every once in awhile they get some interesting entertainment.
Brenda K — Google review
Worst casino I've ever been to. Been twice because we wanted to give it one more chance. Both times 800 bucks spent and not a single bonus. Lost in 20 minutes. Don't waste your money. So many better casinos.
Alison K — Google review
Worst casino and comps that ive ever experienced and ive been to my fair share. And the stuff besides the cash cage and most the players club there actually pretty good. The rest though absolutely unpleasant
Paul P — Google review
Not many machines no tables to play. Can't get a drink after 10pm. I will drive by next time. Staff is very nice though.

Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport

4.0
(172)
Regional airport
Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport (LWS) is a small public airport situated just three miles northwest of Lewiston's central business district in Idaho. Owned by the Nez Perce County Airport Authority, this airport covers 1,000 acres and features two asphalt paved runways. Despite its size, it offers essential amenities such as an art gallery, gift shop, and coffee shop. The TSA security is efficient and the baggage carousel is easily accessible.
In all honesty I really like flying in/out of Lewiston. Sure it's small and it would be great to have more flight options, but for what it is it you can't really knock it. Maybe more seating in the gate area, but that's about it. So easy to check in and get through security it's probably 30-40% less wait time than a bigger airport like SLC or Seattle.
Jake K — Google review
Great little airport, a breeze to get in and out of, cant say enough good things about how easy it is to fly in and out. However the parking situation that was recently implemented through the company Spaces is absolutely atrocious. Used to have free parking which is awesome and yet another reason to use Lewiston over Pullman. Spaces relies on travelers having a smart phone, setting up an account and you enter and exit using your phone. Many people in the local area do not utilize a smart phone. Also in my personal experience for work related travel we often park a rig there for an early flight out and a co-worker will come and grab the rig later that day. This is due to the fact that our work assignments can vary between 2 and 3+ weeks and we don't need to pay for parking the whole time. Trying to get the rig out of the airport is near impossible as the entry is tied to your personal phone. If you get the rig out the person who parked it is still incurring charges for parking indefinitely until your credit card statement arrives and then its a dispute with the Spaces staff. This airport would be soooo much better if they could remedy the parking situation via a ticket system or something of the sort.

Great small regional airport. Easy access in/out, clean, with car rentals and gift shop. Only problem is limited number of flights and pay-parking. Periodically, has air show.
Roger T — Google review
Enjoy the new Pullman Airport, don't have to freeze your butt off to board your flight. Also not old and musty smelling. Managed by someone who knows what he's doing and respects the opinions of customers and employees. How refreshing is that!! Way to go Tony Bean. Lewiston manager should be taking notes.
Stephen R — Google review
Went there for a rental car from budget, but the guy wasn't even there, and I had to wait over 10 mins for him to show back up after calling the number that was left. Then was told I had a full tank of gas when it truly only had half a tank

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Strike & Spare Bar & Grill. Nestled behind a bowling alley, this charming eatery boasts an inviting old-school ambiance that transports you back to the seventies. Known for its mouthwatering Turkish dishes and an extensive drink selection, it's the perfect spot to unwind with friends or family after a game of bowling.
Get your friends together and have a night out at strike and spare. Great food and service. The bowling alley is a perfect place to unwind.
Ta K — Google review
I recommend you eat in the bar. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the seventies. I have a wonderful house white wine. The turkey soup is rich with shreds of meat and noodles that look like they're from a lasagna. The taste is rich flavorful and the toasted bread that they give you with the soup makes dipping quite a pleasure. My wife and I each ordered a sandwich. She had the turkey and I had meatloaf. These are the biggest sandwiches I've ever had in a restaurant. They were too big to eat at one seating so we each save the other half for dinner. I recommend the curly fries over the tater tots as the serving is a bigger. After you finish eating you can walk through the door into the bowling alley and burn off those calories. Staff was very friendly and pricing was appropriate for the portions.
Fred R — Google review
Is the Cock and Bull the best sandwich in Idaho? Does the strike and spare have the best curly fries in the Pacific Northest? Will restaurants ever have Amberbock or Coors Original on tap again? Stay tuned to these and other existential questions tonight at the Steike and Spare.
Bill B — Google review
I went in a school trip and one of the waiters was super rude to all of the kids there. The guy was in like his fifties maybe and super tall and of a heavier build and he had a Grey beard. He told a girl "why aren't you ready yet" when she was just looking back at the menu to show him what she wanted then when she was talking said "you gotta speak up I know you know how" and then yelled at someone for spilling a drink and asked if they needed to mop his floor. He was super disrespectful. I get that were teenagers and maybe he's had a bad experience with them before but it honestly was uncalled for. The food and atmosphere was great but the service was honestly bad.
TheMoon002 — Google review
The brisket sandwich was done perfectly. Smoky brisket on thick Texas toast with a side of tangy BBQ sauce. Delicious. The prime rib sandwich was also very good. It was really busy, but the service did not suffer. I will return!

Eat at the bar, The Female bartender was a sweetheart very nice accommodating as for the food stay away from the meatloaf turkey soup was delicious and the potato salad was off the hook as for the meatloaf, big mistake,

For starters the food was not only amazingly delicious but you got so much of it that you had to take it home. Our waitress was not only very kind but also informative. It was our anniversary and this is where we wanted to go and we are so happy with it. Will definitely be back for sure. Photo is off the pickle fries appetizer..it was truly amazing and delicious.

Lindsay Creek Vineyards is a hidden gem that offers an unforgettable experience for visitors. Nestled on the edge of town, this picturesque venue boasts breathtaking views of the prairie and distant mountains, making it perfect for special occasions like weddings. Guests rave about the delicious wine slushies served after ceremonies and appreciate the friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit.
We were visiting the area and saw that this winery on the edge of town offered food and was open late. It is a lovely drive there. We happened to go on a Friday evening, and a local cover band was playing, mostly classics from the 70s and 80s which we enjoyed. The flights of red and whites were tasty and the staff was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We had a nice hummus + veggie plate and a very good tomato pesto pizza. Best was when they opened the big “garage doors” to the large outside patio and we could sit and watch the spectacular sunset. Definitely worth the drive.

If you get a chance, stop by this wonderful place. And if you’re lucky, the owner, Art, will be able to spend time with you. We had a truly lovely conversation with Art - a very interesting man! There’s a great patio with a fire pit and a fountain to sit and enjoy the view. And…the wine is really good, especially the Cabernet Franc. Will stop by again when we’re passing through.

We just had our 50th class reunion here, Lewiston High School class of 1975. The facilities were great and the view was amazing. I had a glass of Riesling and it was really good, not too sweet but not dry! I highly recommend these guys for an event or just some wine tasting.

Hells Canyon Smokehouse is a must-visit for BBQ enthusiasts. The owner's hospitality and delectable food make it a standout spot. The ribs are particularly noteworthy, even before adding the mouthwatering sauces. Their coleslaw and mac & cheese are also highly praised, and the homemade huckleberry cheesecake is a delightful surprise. Despite the temporary closure of the dining room, the owner's dedication to customer satisfaction shines through as she accommodates patrons with expired coupons.
Tried this place when I traveled here for work, based on other reviews I found. Absolutely did not disappoint. The owner is fantastic and made me feel at home and the food was amazing. Probably the best ribs I've ever had even before the sauces, which were ridiculous. Best coleslaw I've ever eaten and best mac & cheese north of the Mason-Dixon line. And homemade huckleberry cheesecake? Are you kidding me? Will definitely be back if I travel here again!

Visiting from Washington state. Service was awesome. Food was excellent. I had the baby backs. Unique smoke and it appears to have soy sauce type mopping or marinade. No dry rub. The Baby back meat flavor was good but the sauces kick it up one more level, really compliment and bring out the smoke in the meat. Baked beans where sweet and full of flavor with chunks of meat. Great flavor on all of the sauces including the Scorpion which I found to be my favorite. Scorpion heat isn't overwhelming and has Great heat and flavor. If your a chili head, make sure to order the scorpion! We will definitely be back to try some other smoked meats.

Ribs were dry. Crab salad and coleslaw were very bland. Their sauce is really good though! I had the spicy sauce and poured it over everything making it manageable to eat.

Gets two stars for good food but was 2 hours late with the food to our graduation party. We had 75 people waiting and we kept getting excuses like the road being closed between Lewiston and Pullman but several people drove to our house from Lewiston with no issues. Wish she would’ve just told us she would be late instead of repeatedly saying “I’m 15 mins out”. Good food but bad experience. No apologies offered either.

The Bait Shop Grill is a cozy, mom-and-pop breakfast spot with a wide selection of omelettes and delicious coffee. The vegetarian omelette impressed with its fresh vegetables, and the fruit on the side was a nice touch. The country fried steak comes highly recommended, although some found the bite-size steak to have a funny taste. Despite being short-staffed during busy times, the service was friendly and accommodating.
Wonderful breakfast! Wide selection of omelettes. I was very impressed with the fresh vegetables in the vegetarian omelette and the fresh fruit on the side. Coffee was wonderful, it’s not often I find myself drinking drip coffee black from a restaurant, but theirs didn’t need anything added. The waitress’ service was great, regardless that it was a full house. Will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

Been here a total of 4 times with this being the best of them. In the past, I had been disappointed in the quality/quantity of the food and atmosphere set by the servers. With that said, the quality and quantity of food this time around was excellent. I left with a satisfied full belly. There was some food still left on the plate. Our server was friendly and checked up on us several times throughout our meal. I decided to give them a 4th chance, and they have redeemed themselves in my eyes.

Was referred to the bait shop by my brother in law and boy he was right! Great food, atmosphere, old fashioned Great and personal service. Recommend the country fried steak, awesome! 👌....had the "Bigfoot" size...comes with sausage gravy, hashbrowns, 2 eggs and toast. Wife didn't care for the bite size steak, had a funny taste. But overall, two thumbs up 👍 👍. Only open til 1:30pm...

I had the senior portion chicken fried steak. Outstanding! And i love their pancakes. And I enjoy looking at the old fishing gear on the walls while waiting for the food. Coffee keeps coming until you could float home. It's a little thin, but not bad. Just personal preference as I like heavy dark java.

Cinnamon swirls plates are worth the visit alone! They have a country fried steak in regular size, and then there is BIGFOOT SIZE!! They are not kidding either. That itself is a meal alone. BOTH make this place the best breakfast place that isn't mentioned much in the LC valley!

By far the best breakfast in Lewiston! I wish they were open all day!! If you haven't been here definitely try it! I usually do not like biscuits and gravy from restaurants because they just aren't made right but they are so good here!! Also great omelets and hash browns! Nature & Parks
Park
Hells Gate State Park, located on the south side of Lewiston along the Snake River, offers a stunning 960-acre natural setting for camping, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and kayaking. The park's mostly level terrain was shaped by Ice Age floods and holds historical significance as a former village site for the Nez Perce people. Visitors can explore geological features and North America's deepest canyons through activities like jet-boating.
We love this close to home campground. This time we were in the cottonwood loop with no services. There is however a shower house and restrooms. There are 2 shower stalls, however one of the showers wasn't working (they did get it fixed just before we left). The playground is a good size and right next to the beach. It's a short walk from the camps to the beach regardless of which loop you stay in. We had deer come into our camp 3 times while there, saw bunnies and a turkey!
Kim B — Google review
This was a great park. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the sites each had spacious grassy areas. There are lots of beautiful deciduous trees and plenty of trails for hiking. We enjoyed the waterfront trail and the scenic elevated trails accessible from the park. We walked down to the interpretive center and enjoyed the 30-minute film about Lewis and Clark. They even let us bring our dog in on a leash. They also had little doggy treats for her. There was a very nice discuss golf course for those who enjoy the sport. We had full hookups for our RV and utilized one of the pull through sites. The only complaint with this park is that it is on the beach Snake River, but there are no sites that have a good view of the river! There is so much brush that you Woodbridge even know you were on the river from your RV. Also, they are all back in only sites. So even if we got one of the sites that would provide a peek from the height of our front window, it wasn't allowed. It's a beautiful park, and we would definitely go there again if in the area. It's just interesting that it wasn't laid out to enjoy the beauty of the river from THE RV.
Angela F — Google review
The state park is beautiful and has a lot to offer. Sites are spacious and have electric and water. There’s a bathhouse for tent campers. The beach area is beautiful! Dogs are not allowed on beach
Nelida S — Google review
We hiked to the basalt rock formation and that was a beautiful and fantastic experience. For some strange reason it is not marked on the State Park map and it was unnecessarily difficult to find the way. The hike was 7 km and took us about 2 hours.
Joakim L — Google review
What a great park! We camped here, unfortunately only for one night, but it’s worth a visit for sure. It wasn’t super packed so that was nice. There is a nice, paved walking path along the river. The only downside was the highway across the river. The traffic noise was pretty loud and while it slowed at night, it seemed like there were loud cars and trucks around the clock.
Courtney W — Google review
Clean, well maintained campground on the river. Lots of wildlife and trails to walk. River access at the park as well. Would stay again.
Justin B — Google review
This is a beautiful state park with nice campsites near the Snake River. We had water and electric hookups at our site. We loved the paved path for a bike ride (or walk), which you can take all the way into town. Restrooms were clean, but old, with free showers. We liked the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center- cool relief map and the movie was good, too. They water the grass so it is still green even on hot days. Lots of trees for shade in the campground.
Kristine M — Google review
When I arrived after dark, my rv spot was easily found. I had to drive slowly and carefully so as not to bother the grazing deer. On the morning that started earlier than usual I noticed two flocks of turkey including a turkey tom displaying his tail fan. The park is large with many facilities including boat docks, frizbee golf, and hiking a long trail along the river. I also noticed bicyclists of a every age on mechanical and electric bicycles and tricycles. Beautiful park just a few minutes away from small city conveniences. You won't be disappointed.

Place really picked up after 7:00 with a live band firing up and the locals bringing in their own pot luck dinners. Little disappointed they didn't have a menu, but we weren't expecting to eat there. We would have stayed longer if they served food.

Bar & grill
Zone 208 is a popular spot with a great atmosphere and excellent service. The wings are highly recommended, with flavorful options and perfectly glazed and seasoned servings. The staff, including Deanna the manager, provide exceptional service, ensuring that drinks are promptly refilled. Additionally, the venue is praised for hosting events such as weddings and offering catering services. The extensive menu offers delicious food, while the fun atmosphere includes trivia nights and friendly staff like Rory who provides excellent customer service.
I swung by after a job at a nearby location. The staff was friendly and prompt. I tried their steak bites, and they were so good.

We went there mainly to watch football. Nice big screen and good atmosphere. Fast friendly service. Wings and hamburger were great but the curly fries were a little greasy. Food arrived quickly. Clean fun place. Pool tables, darts, golf, foosball available. We will return.
Frederick S — Google review
Went in on Saturday to play pool, started downstairs, the bartender was horrible, felt like I was imposing on her to serve me a drink. Not once did she even smile! Played one game of pool, then we went upstairs, the staff was amazing, very nice and friendly! My advice is to go upstairs and avoid the bartender downstairs. She needs to get a different job that does not require her to work with the public! Second time this has happened, never again!
Deanna S — Google review
If you want an excellent burger adventure, they have a burger called Tika's Texas Jam burger....not your typical jam. I added a fried egg and had it with Jojos My burger was made with TLC and was an absolute mess. Loved it. The service was solid. My burger took a while to make and if you order jojos, these are REAL potato hand cut wedges. They take time to fry up so be patient. Im torn on food stars because the basic burger that my father ordered was quite well done....but that's not why you go to Zone 208, try something new! Atmosphere 4/5 because I'm not a huge sports bar fan. Great spot 👌

This is an underrated spot for food in the valley! Great food. Good service. If you’re looking for something other than a happy day restaurant this is the spot.
Ben N — Google review
Me and the lady love the wings at zone 208 but this rating is based on the experience we had with their sides. We always call in and this time we decided to go with the onion rings (highlighted on the online menu we used). Got to the restaurant to pick up the order and the total was substantially more than I thought it would be. I asked how much the onion rings were and the bartender told me they were $12.95. That completely took me by surprise considering the menu online said they were $3.95. Mentioned it to the bartender and she said that the menu was probably old. I wasn’t happy about it but I paid for them cause they lady and I wanted wings and onion rings. We get home and opened the container with the onion rings and saw about $3.95 worth of onion rings in the container. There is no way that onion rings are so expensive what they gave me was $12.95 worth. Pretty disappointed.

Place here is awesome. Had my wedding here on Saturday. The team Jen, Deanna, Christine, Brian, Nick, Monique, and everyone else did an amazing job handling all our guests as well as dealing with the stress all day and everything going on. I would recommend this place for catering and boomers garden as a wedding venue any day. They also have a portable dance floor.

Was told these were the best wings in the valley, and id have to agree, they were fantastic. Great service nice enviroment. Stopped in today, Jason and Jay were super, professional and easy going. Wings were fantastic per usual. Highly recommend.

Sandwich shop
Subway is a popular casual dining chain that specializes in customizable sandwiches and salads, catering to health-conscious diners. During my recent visit, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the store and the exceptional service provided by a young employee with long braids. She managed online orders while efficiently serving customers at the counter, showcasing her remarkable multitasking skills. The food was fresh and delicious, making for an enjoyable meal experience.
We were there January 10th, 2024 and there was a young girl with long braids working. She was amazing. The store was spotless and she was the only one there. She was doing online orders and working the counter. The food was fresh and really good. She was so nice and fast. A great employee from the customers standpoint. She's a keeper!!!
Stephanie J — Google review
Awful service! Waited to get serviced and the guy literally filled online orders that came in after we were in line, rude as after. Don't go there!
Angie L — Google review
One of the great things about Subway is that the food is consistently good from one location to the next. The service was friendly, professional, and quick.
Brent G — Google review
This has to be the worst subway I have ever been. I ordered ahead to make sure I could make it back to work on time. Get here and they have one poor employee working hus but off and I ended up waiting for another 30 minutes for my food past the pickup time. They need more employees.
Jesus — Google review
Good but a little pricey for what I wanted. DOESN'T ACCEPT COUPONS ANYMORE!!!!
Deb — Google review
Can't believe they do not honor coupons that were put in every mailbox in Lewiston. That owner should know they not only lost a sale, but probably lost customers. We all spent our money with a restaurant that took there own coupons.

The most professional experience I have ever had at a Subway. Although the bathrooms were not operational, the service was impeccable! They were fast, and assertive, making sure everything was perfect! Great crew, awesome food, well worth the price.

Fast food restaurant
Fast-food chain featuring Mexican-inspired tacos, burritos, nachos & breakfast fare.
From South Dakota where Taco John's are everywhere and moving to Portland where there are no Taco John's this stop is a must. Got there about 45 minutes before they closed and was treated awesome. Got the 6 pack and a pound and needed some sauce. The cashier saw me looking for it and asked if I needed anything and promptly got me some mild sauce. Was pleased and will continue to visit!!

My food selections have always tasted good and were accurately served. The soft shell tacos are my favorite to order. The salsa bar later in the day could use more attention.
Jerry J — Google review
Great friendly service, as I always go through the drive-thru. They are always accurate and they don't skimp on their fillings. All foods they serve are plentiful and tastey. If you ask for additional tomato, Cheese or no onion they never overcharge. Prices are so affordable and if they notice you are a senior they will adjust the total at the window. They are my favorite.
Sherri B — Google review
Today, it took a half hour to get food. Took it home and the taco meat in my tacos were stone cold like they had just come out of the fridge. I don't live that far from this restaurant and even if it did cool down, it wouldn't have gotten to fridge Temps. Wouldn't recommend.
Jacob D — Google review
I have eaten here many times and the food is always ok for the price. This time I went in the service was was horrible. I ordered the super burrito combo meal (a burrito, potatoes Ole's, and drink) and a taco bravo. A simple order. The person behind the counter seemed very confused and said I had to have the taco in a meal. Both the menu and the special of the day said I could have just a taco only. She read me back what I ordered several times. I paid and asked for my drink cup, the person said I didn't order a drink. I asked doesn't a drink come with the combo meal, the person said oh you wanted a combo meal? Then said "oh we must have just gotten our wires crossed" then turned around and walked away never offering to change the order, just walked away. I was pretty shocked. I should have known better and just went to Taco Time.
Clark G — Google review
Love the new Street Tacos! I also had a plain $1.39 bean burrito today and it was good, nothing special, but I would reorder as I am a bean burrito person. But... the Street Tacos are fresh and wonderful! Crew there is the best! This little drive through has something going for it. Wish they had Sweet Potato Tots as well as regular, AND a Bean Taco Salad! Could find someone to give their canned Beans a more authentic ReFried Taste, but hey, the prices are good and the food is fresh and the staff is wonderful!
Katherine I — Google review
I was actually surprised by this place since its in a convenience store. It was packed with people eating inside and the drive thru was a mile long so I decided to grab a few things. The grilled taco was delicious and ten times better than the other fast food tacos in the area. The meat was very well seasoned with great flavor, the beef burrito was packed full of beans, meat and cheddar cheese. Best Mexican fast food I have had in the valley and I paid 5 bucks so it was cheap too! Oh and since they thought the 5 minute wait was a long time they threw in free potatoes, great seasoning on those as well. I didn't think it was long but thanks for the potatoes!

The new Boss burrito is an explosion of freshness. Great service, friendly servers, and a varied fresh Tex-Mex menu are the right ingredients for an experience that will keep you coming back. Thank you Taco John's

Day 4

Off the beaten path
For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Hells Canyon Creek Visitor Center. Not quite as popular as Hells Gate State Park, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 11 hours.

I first visited here in 2017 and just had to return. The 22 mile drive is dramatically scenic and views at the visitor center are spectacular. I had an informative discussion with the hosts about water level and evacuation signs...LOL! It's worth the drive at least once in a lifetime.

Worth the drive . . . but I would avoid the Council-Cuprum-Kleinschmidt road. Nice staff (make a donation!) and a beautiful location where people float off to the wilderness for several days.
Douglas R — Google review
A very interesting place - you are informed about how Hells Canyon was formed, you can find many useful materials about the area - maps, books - you can buy souvenirs. Gerry was very nice and helpful - he offered us all the needed information for 2 full days in the area!
Gabriel G — Google review
The drive here and the visitor center itself is awesome!! Even if you don't make it when it's open, there are many interpretive exhibits to view. The scenery is unreal.
Kerry A — Google review
The hosts weren't friendly and definitely not inviting to their center... but in spite of that i have to give the 22 mile drive through hells canyon to the dam a 5 star... no other place like this on earth... its so big and amazing your mind can't even comprehend what you are looking at... it is a must see if your in the area...

Great place and nice views. Great boating just before the dam. Boat tours come close to the dam on the other side. Long drive to get here and no services. It is not manned. But great place.

This is a wonderous place to visit. If you ate lucky you may see Big Horn Sheep, Elk or Deer on your way in or out and while there you may spot some Bilky Goats on the canyon walls. The road in is 40 mph with some vert tight 20 mph corners and in places the canyon walls lean over the road way.

Located at Hells Gate State Park in Lewiston, Idaho, the Lewis & Clark Discovery Center is a museum commemorating the historic Lewis and Clark expedition. Opened in 2005 on the expedition's 200th anniversary, it features indoor and outdoor exhibits showcasing the journey through north central Idaho and Nez Perce lands.
Great little museum with many historical plaques and movies on area history and L& C Corps of Discovery venture. Nice view of Snake River along with sandy beach for swimming. Easy walked paths around building with several places for picnicking. \ One drawback is fee to get into Hells Gate State Park. Center is located in park. Gift shop, clean washrooms and friendly staff.

My husband and I got great information from the people who worked here on how to enjoy the reservation. We were from out of town and the route they gave us was both scenic and filled with wonderful surprises along the way. There were some areas under construction, so we didn't get the full discovery center experience.
Tisha W — Google review
Very cool place with a lot of historical information and some beautiful views along the Snake River . The thing is that you have to pay to get into the park and I don't think we should have to pay to enjoy a place that is supported by our taxes and public land.. it makes this beautiful place inaccessible for many people who can't afford to come here..
D A — Google review
Nice museum focusing on L&C Corps of Discovery adventures to & through Idaho and they help they received from Shoshone and Nez Pearce that may have made the difference to their survival. $14 to get into the entire park; not sure I took full advantage although the walkway out into the river is .... breathtaking!

It's OK. It's hard to believe this is a 2 mile trail but anyway it's OK, we saw a deer and a bunny so wildlife is good but then also some folks backyard and the back of the retirement home and next thing you know your are walking on the street? Not a well planned trail. There are definitely better trails in the area than this one

This is a great little park to visit. Probubly one of the nicest places in Lewiston. There is a nice walkway with interesting facts on the park, good benches, trees, grass, a bathroom, and a parking lot. I would suggest going here over any other paths in Lewiston. The paths go uphill and downhill quite a bit but most do in this city.

Libraries
Nestled in the heart of Lewiston, the Lewiston City Library boasts a rich history dating back to its founding in 1901 by the dedicated women of the Tsceminicum Club. Their vision came to life with support from Andrew Carnegie, leading to the establishment of this cherished community hub. Today, it stands proudly at Pioneer Park, blending historical charm with modern amenities. Visitors can enjoy an impressive collection of books in a serene environment that is perfect for both leisure reading and focused work sessions.
Didn’t get to go in due to it being too late when I arrived, but I did take some pictures of the beautiful artwork there and across the street, centennial park memorial. I bet the library has some amazing books to read. Can’t wait to pass through again & go see for myself.
Jerad H — Google review
Laughter yoga was a blast! I have been to a few things here. Their book club was not my style of reading, but I was happy to attend. They have a kids reading event on occasion that my daughter loves, and she got to read to a big dog! There are so many good things! I wish they had more of the baby genius books, but other than that they are amazing!

Best free WiFi in the valley..... it was a blast to help build it.... of course I was just a humble laborer carrying wood, sweeping up sawdust, and sand blasting old paint off posts and beams and well you know, lots of less than glamorous things..... I'm still proud to have done my part......

Good manga collection. The valley library system requires one who does not live in the region to pay $25 a year for membership. 4/18/23: I was taking a nap on one of the chair without bothering anyone. And an older female staff came wake me up and told me no sleeping per policy. That’s a first in my life
Tianen C — Google review
I was looking for a quiet place to do a recorded interview online. Impressive facility, history meets modern. Could use an air filter and thorough cleaning. If you can't find the books there, search Abby and/or donate them yourself. I can't be the only one who went through a few years of religious zealousness where you spend too much money on books and don't know what to do with them. No wonder they have stacks of them. Be the change you want to see. Donate what you want to read.
Mel A — Google review
Not only does the library have an excellent selection of books to choose from, but it is a beautiful environment to be in whether you are reading for pleasure or getting work done. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, and they are always willing to help you find what you need. They also offer a lot of great activities and programs for all ages. It is a beautiful place that everyone should take advantage of.

Love this library! The downtown location is great and the remodel visually pleasing. My kids love the toys and computers and the children's librarian is excellent. If they had a coffee shop on site, it would be hard to leave. I'm looking forward to the new meeting room, teen space and especially rooftop garden!

Domino's Pizza is a popular delivery and carryout chain that delights pizza lovers with its extensive menu, featuring not only a wide variety of pizzas but also an array of other delicious dishes and sides. Customers rave about the exceptional service, highlighting how the staff genuinely cares for their patrons. For instance, one satisfied customer shared their experience of receiving a prompt resolution for a previous order issue, showcasing Domino's commitment to customer satisfaction.
Have gotten two pizzas from dominos downtown in Lewiston recently. They are so stinking busy. The atmosphere is fun and light. They all are joking with each other. They are all very kind. There’s one person, with longer hair pulled back. I’m not sure their name. They’re always so kind and prompt. They don’t act tired or put out at all. This person deserves a raise. Not to mention more help! My two pizzas have been so bomb, too. Please pay these people what they deserve!

Ordered online. I was told it would be 30 minutes. 50 minutes later I got a cold pizza that was made badly and shanken. It has whole pieces missing toppings. It is also so poorly cut that it rips the whole thing. More dough then sauce, and the team seemed annoyed i even called to place an order.
Λαίμαργή — Google review
Terrible service employee dropped my Alfredo and didt say anything and made us wait 45 mins longer with out saying anything nor apologized and had the audacity to try and charge me for a marinara worst customer service of my life with never be back. I lost my appetite at the store waiting that 45 mins my pizza is pretty much frozen.and as far as my Alfredo goes it was dry as hell dryer than Sahara desert worst Alfredo EVER !
Jenyka X — Google review
Love this place. Actually care about customers. I called about a pizza that was messed up a month ago and no hesitation come on in and get your remake. Can't give you guys enough stars
Mitchell J — Google review
My three stars are due to the fact this location can be good sometimes, it’s just not worth the money to find out any longer- Usually I cut this location some slack. They are low on drivers and it can take quite a while at times. Most of the time, I give the driver their own cash tip and tip for my pizza when I pay online, for however that works to the store. More and more , I can’t imagine the employees any other way than back there having a grand time messing up orders purposefully, and putting out poorly made food. If you redeem a free pizza with points be prepared for it to be poorly made. You can get good food, occasionally… if you tip. That means don’t pay with cash upon delivery. This is my singular pepperoni stuffed bread, comical. But my pizza was so wet it was inedible. I tipped, I waited. I think I’ll be picking up from the Bryden location from here on out.
Hal P — Google review
I'm honestly really disappointed from the last couple times I've order. Last time I got a wrong item. Today I also got one of the wrong item, and it looks like it was sitting there for awhile. It was suppose to be 16 piece bite, alfredo pasta, and lava bites. I got this bacon cheesy bread and Alfredo that looked like it was sitting there for a bit. It makes me wonder if I just got someone's old order Lastly when they said it was done, it wasn't actually done and was told the lava cakes dropped on the floor. So it was a longer wait for something to be disappointed in. From the looks with other reviews, this looks like a common theme. So might just not order with them anymore.
Rebekah W — Google review
The food was AMAZING, but the staff not so much. There was a male employee with glasses that was saying inappropriate things especially while there are customers inside. I will not be going back to this location
Aaliyah H — Google review
I can truly say, the worse pizza ever. Overcooked to a hard cracker like burnt flavor crust, dehydrated toppings, missing toppings and just cheap cheaper cheapest of everything. I've had dominos many times in my life.but no one in our house could swallow more than two bites. This has to be intentional because no one could accidentally create the worse pizza in history so we'll.

I don't often write reviews but because of this unfortunate experience I felt it was incumbent to share this experience. I ordered a pizza for my staff and myself at 10:30 AM in the morning asking for it to be delivered at 1145 AM. At 12 noon I called and got a recording that they were running behind and I would be notified by the driver when they were on their way. Then at 12:30 I called again and I was informed that pizzas were sitting there in the store waiting for DoorDash to pick them up. The attendant did not know why they had not been picked up. I summarily cancelled my order.
Kevin K — Google review
I'm a doordasher and they never have the orders ready the guy making the pizzas was very loudly cussing and saying very rude things about the dashers that were just acting surprised when they said the orders were going to take another 20 to 30 mins. Of course he did not have a name tag but he had medium length hair on the top half and short on the bottom half. Very unprofessional and inappropriate. DO BETTER! Here is a pic of the male.

I met Cameron at the counter, great personality and very helpful.. Dalton was making my food and smiling and getting everything moving into the ovens, Then Tara came popping around the corner with supplies that kept it all smooth! Great teamwork! And greater pizza and papadias!

Very fissapointed tonight at Papa John's. As I went in noone welcomed me or acknowledged I was there for a good 10 minutes. Not pleasant even when speaking to me. Just a bunch of kids working there. I seen some Dash drivers come in and it was the same. Didn't acknowledge etc. Place seriously needs someone there that shows them how it should be done. When my pizza was up they just handed it to me nothing said. They knew my name from when I first asked about my pizza.

Our favorite pizza place in the LC Valley. The pizza is always delicious, hot and our order is always correct. The crew here is friendly and efficient.
Sara A — Google review
Just got my pizza delivery, it arrived within a reasonable time given its Saturday night and they are probably busy about this time of night. How ever, without being actually flipped upside down, the pizza looks like it was just tossed in the back seat of the delivery drivers car with no real care given. The pizza was also cold when it arrived.

i’ve ordered one large garden Pizza but the cashier charged me two more small pizzas although i didn’t order them! he’s a scammer and a very incompetent cashier, he was VERY clumsy and even gave someone the wrong order, not to mention my order took almost an hour to finish. I would never recommend going to this branch again.

Restaurant
Southway Pizzeria & Deli is a delightful spot that offers a variety of tasty options for diners. While the salad bar presents an array of choices, it can be tricky to navigate due to its glass barrier. However, the standout items include their flavorful chicken bacon wrap and the Loaded Potato Pizza, which features a creamy ranch sauce topped with red potatoes, cheese, bacon, and green onions—an absolute must-try!
Great restaurant we go there quite often. My mom left her purse there and they were able to hold it for us till the next day. Wonderful food, great weekly specials and half price beer pitchers on Saturday.

We like the crunch on the garlic pizza we ordered. The mango habanero chicken wings are good too. The baked alfredo pasta could be better with a tad of creaminess and more bacon (couldn't go wrong with more bacon, right?)
Leilani V — Google review
Went on a Monday night. Ordered the Bengal Pie and the All You Can Eat salad bar. Started with the salad bar. It has a good selection of toppings. Everything on the bar could stand to be colder. It's located right by the only entrance/exit to the dining area. A server came by to take my plate but looked at me questionably when I asked for another. Are you supposed to use the same plate over and over? I have no idea. Nobody said, and there's no signage. Pizza came out after 35 minutes. Tempted to send back for some more oven time. Cup and crisp pepperoni were just warm, not crisp. Oddly, when you order take-out, pizza is usually ready in 20 minutes.

I love Southway Pizzeria & Deli. They make the best Pizza in the area. However, after my experience Sunday after church, I'm afraid their quality, and service levels have slipped. The Meatball Sandwich was cold, lacked sufficient sauce and the roll was soggy. The Chicken wrap was also lacking. The large Salad had almost no chicken on it. The Pizza's we ordered were, as usual, excellent but came well after all the other food. BE FOREWARNED. WILL COME BACK, AND HOPEFULLY THIS ONE TIME WAS A "GLITCH."
Roger T — Google review
I ordered an extra large Bengal pie with extra cheese last night. It was the worst pizza I've ever gotten from southway. There was no extra cheese and way too much sauce that overpowered the pizza. Since it was a delivery we couldn't complain but it was a wasted $45. I guess I won't be doing that again.
William C — Google review
Pizzas are always good for us. However, today we tried the French dip for a change 👍 good. Blueberry Mojito tea was awesome. Plus, a tasty mint was brought to our table.

We had them scheduled to cater a small event, and everything was fantastic leading up to it. When we had to cancel last minute due to an emergency, they were incredibly kind and flexible. We appreciated their understanding so much that we reordered, and the food was delicious.
Alexis M — Google review
Super friendly staff and good pizza! Even though the dinning room isn't full you may have to wait awhile for your order as they seem to do a lot of takeout orders. We were able to get a table easily on a Friday night, but had to wait 45+ minutes for our pizza.

The Nez Perce County Historical Society & Museum is a dedicated institution preserving the unique history of Nez Perce County and its surroundings. The museum offers a variety of exhibits showcasing the region's pioneering spirit, culture, innovation, and the story of the Nez Perce Indians. Visitors can explore hands-on exhibits for kids and learn about river navigation, the Lewis and Clark Expedition, volcanic geology, and early settlement origins.
This is a carefully curated, small, but very cool museum. The artifacts are thoughtfully displayed with well-written content describing the item and its place and purpose in history. There are also several items for children to touch, in addition to a scavenger hunt game that incorporates all of the exhibits. By visiting this museum I learned more about Lewiston’s development and political history, early settlers’ disputes and dealings with the Nez Perce peoples, the struggles and successes of early businessmen and women in Lewiston, the role of Chinese immigrants in this city, and much more. What a gem to discover on this hot September day! Thank you! (The smaller building outside wasn’t open for tours at the time I arrived, but I was able to peek in the windows and see just about everything.) Also, it’s $6/adult and (I think) $4/kid. They take cash or card.

Someone said this is a well-curated museum. That is an understatement! For a small museum, it tells a lot of stories very well. It is very much worth your time!

Found it by accident, but so happy we did. Mom and I and my youngest son went. Had lots of fun. Recommend for others who enjoy history, or just looking for ways to expand the mind. :) took some great photos and learned some new things. ♥ The wonderful lady behind the counter was very friendly. She gave amazing directions to help us locate the Lewis and Clark interpretive center down by the river. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!! We had such an fantastic day. 😁

I took advantage of an opportunity while in Lewiston to visit this museum. It was chalked full of amazing history about the Native population and the Lewiston area history. So many things I had no knowledge of. I am always happy to spend time in a museum.

We went to the museum a few days prior to leaving on our American Cruise Lines ship. It was a great way to refresh us on the Lewis and Clark Expedition, and increase our understanding of the Nez Perce Indian tribe. Afterwards we took a short walk to Main Street and visited a few eateries. Would recommend.

Nestled in the heart of the Lewis-Clark Valley, Jovinea Cellars Tasting Room is a newly-launched winery founded by the passionate husband and wife team, Michael and Liza Grigg. They are dedicated to producing small batch wines with unique character and flair. While their on-site vineyards are being established, they currently source grapes from Idaho and Washington vineyards.
Best wine around! Dolcetto is my new fav! Access the cellar off D street! It's inside Morgan's Alley building that's on Main!

We were wine tasting in Lewiston and found this lovely tasting room. It's in a really unique building which begs exploration. The proprietor is also the vintner, so you get all the details that go into making their wines. Most of the grapes are local to the valley, so that is fun and worth supporting. The pouring is free, but I am sure you will walk away with at least 1 bottle of wine to your liking. Enjoy!

Michael and Lisa truly know what they are doing with their wine crafting and creations! They are passionate and generous with their knowledge and heart ❤️! We purchased several bottles and can’t wait to tell others about them and their wonderful wines.

Favorite of the wineries we visited. The wine is less expensive than other vineyards and tastes as good if not better. The owner knows his wine and explained each one. And had them all open for tasting. Loved the descriptions and pairing suggestions (biscuits and gravy!). My wine expertise depth is "yes" or "no" and this is definitely a "yes." Bought more wine here than any other.

We bought a couple of bottles of Merlot during a show in December. Hands down the smoothest and best I have had in years. The owners are very nice, well versed in the business, and down to earth. You definitely need to check out this winery.

The Lewis and Clark Center, located in historic Lewiston, Idaho, is a hub for art integration and cultural understanding. Housed in a beautifully restored building with the second largest exhibition space in Idaho, the center features both permanent and traveling exhibits. One of its highlights is the Chinese Beuk Aie Temple exhibit, showcasing the history of the late 19th-century Chinese community. Additionally, visitors can explore Nez Perce tribal artifacts on display.
This is a little tricky to find as you have to get here from the Lewiston levee parkway and cross the foot bridge.. however it is a very significant site with lots of local history about Lewis and Clark and the Nez Perce tribe.. it's well worth the effort to find and check out. I'm glad I did and would recommend seeing it for yourself even if it's just for the beautiful views..

Beautiful Downtown Lewiston is a charming area with a lot to offer visitors. The Hells Gate State Park, located on the southern edge of Lewiston, is a must-see natural attraction covering 960 acres and offering activities such as kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, and camping. The downtown area boasts historic facades and local stores that are unique to the region. Strolling along Main Street allows you to take in the picturesque views of the surrounding hills.
Nice area for a walk.

2025 was the 39th Annual Lewiston "Hot August Nites." Downtown streets were closed off to traffic and roadways were packed with over 300 classic, antique and muscle cars. Walking the 4-5 blocks was like a tour down memory lane. "There was my first car." "Oh, there's the car I had on my first date." Would highly recommend attending in 2026. In addition to viewing all the automobiles, you get to sample all the restaurants along the way.

Lost Key Escape Rooms in Lewiston offers an exciting challenge for those who enjoy solving complex puzzles. Participants must work together to solve a themed mystery within 60 minutes. The Valhalla room, featuring Viking warriors appealing to Odin, is well-designed with intricate puzzles and tasteful decor. Under new ownership, the production value of the rooms has significantly improved. It's a great activity for groups of friends or family looking for an engaging and thrilling experience.
Wonderful, well done! Tyler clearly had well thought-out and cared-for design that led to an enjoyable adventure. Would recommend this room to friends! THEME - 5/5 Viking warriors appealing to Odin to enter Valhalla is fun! Though small, the room decor was designed well, with great painted murals and easter eggs to the Vikings show. Our group of 5 felt the room was best designed for 3-4 people max, though had no issues navigating the space. Each artistic design choice felt intentional and meshed well with the visual aesthetics of the theme. The low lighting gave nice ambience of being in a night-time forest without impeding finding clues. PUZZLES - 5/5 - Felt like the room was designed with multi-linear puzzles which converged towards the end. A great design for our group, as someone *could* be actively working on something most of the time. - Great design finding ways to solve the many locks within the theme! - Loved the many indicators of progress! These bits of progress helped fuel our excitement for continuing the room - thank you, and great design! - You clearly have put much care and effort into this space. It shows, thank you!

The escape room itself was nice, location and building have a really sketchy feel. We went as two teenage, next time we’re definitely bringing a guy.

Great fun! A few of the puzzles didn't work quite right and the owner had to address it themselves, but the price was good! Would love to come here again!

It was ok. Fun experience overall. Could've been a 5 star, but it was really dirty and smelled bad and now I'm sick, the bathroom hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. I'm tempted to offer to clean the place and put in an air purifier for free, just so others can get the full experience.
Cory W — Google review
We tried this and it was awesome. Puzzles were well thought out and put together intelligently. The owner was super friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about what he does. We will definitely come back and are looking forward to the new rooms opening soon. Thanks for the fun and we highly recommend!!!
Deena W — Google review
This place is awesome and was such a blast!! The owner was so polite!! He even noticed we had over paid because we paid for three kids that were under seven years old, so without us saying anything, he said he would be giving us a refund. I also called several times before we went because I had so many questions and he answered promptly every time and was super nice each time. I can’t say enough great things about this place! We will definitely be returning customers. Happy to have something fun to do in the LC Valley! Thank you again!!
Dartel K — Google review
My family just played the Valhalla room and we highly recommend it. All of the puzzles are thoughtful and the room is well built and tastefully decorated. Most importantly, the owner is friendly and really enthusiastic about his work. If you've tried other rooms at this location over the years, it may help to know that Lost Key is under new ownership and the production value of the Valhalla room is much higher than previous rooms.
Cristy W — Google review

Steak house
If you find yourself in Lewiston, make sure to swing by Bojack's Broiler Pit for a delightful dining experience. This charming spot offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for enjoying meals with friends and family. Guests rave about the delicious onion soup and tender steak bites, although some found them slightly lacking in flavor without the accompanying sauces. The prime rib is another highlight, served alongside a plump potato and an unexpectedly tasty spaghetti that might just steal the show!
Where do I start on the dinner here at bojack's? I stopped here I'm from out of town and I was just looking for a place to eat for my birthday work there for a cycling event. I ordered the prime rib and this is the smallest portion they have. It has this nice plump potato so good and a very nice salad. But let's talk about the spaghetti that they give you with every meal if I really knew that spaghetti was going to taste that good I would have just bought that it was actually that good. I'm going to be back later this week just to have the spaghetti and meatballs because it was just yummy all by itself. . The only issue I had I ordered a margarita and they served it with sugar on the rim I've never had that
Carol S — Google review
Not a fan. I think that the food is mediocre but what really drags the ratings down for me is the dining experience. Dark stanky musty basement with terrible spaghetti served with everything. I don't understand what folks enjoy about this place, the musty basement is such a turn off. At least the bar above doesn't stink

Brava's is a popular dining spot that doesn't take reservations but offers a warm welcome to all guests. The menu includes kid-friendly options like macaroni with mandarin orange slices, as well as delicious garlic french fries. The steak bites and honey chipotle sandwich are highly recommended dishes, served in generous portions. The bacon-wrapped meatloaf is a special highlight.
Wonderful!! The shrimp scampi was the best we had ever had. Hands down the food is terrific... The menu offers plenty of options. The waitress was extremely polite and very attentive. It wasn't busy since we dined early but it's a cute, cozy place....an old factory. I highly recommend this place..... **One thing, it's difficult to find their front door. It looks like it needs a code to enter so it's confusing. Better signs would help ...

Staff was great but Took almost an hour to get our meal after ordered. Spicy edamame beans were great. My $40 surf and turf meal was very disappointing. Tuna was pretty good. But rest of flavors just off. Mashed potatoes were sweet or something. Like old russets maybe. Steak was fried i think and tasted like straight brown sugar. Tasted no beef. If you enjoy really sweet meat then you might enjoy. Just not my thing. Brussels seemed very very bitter and undercooked and not sure if even seasoned. Was really bummed.

Excellent dining experience at Brava’s! The dining area is lovely. There is an outdoor seating area, too. Large list of cocktails on the menu. Food is delicious. Service is wonderful. My husband ordered steak & I opted for the “light meal” of grilled caesar salad with chicken. I note “light meal” because it was huge. Would happily return for another meal & recommend.

Truly had an amazing experience lastnight (1/6/25) it was our time here and we loved the atmosphere! Even though we had a last minute dish change the food was amazing and I call it a happy accident. The little blonde waitress was absolutely the sweetest thing! Definitely recommend!
Nicole B — Google review
Tucked away inside the Main Street Plaza, Brava's offers a cozy retreat in the heart of Lewiston. As I stepped inside, I was immediately charmed by the dim lighting and the spiral staircase adorned with delicate string lights, creating an ambiance reminiscent of a hidden jazz lounge. The soft jazz melodies playing in the background further enhanced the intimate atmosphere. Despite arriving close to closing time, the service was impeccable. Lindsey, my waitress, was prompt and friendly, ensuring I felt welcomed. The hostess graciously provided water upon seating, and I appreciated the elegant menus that offered a curated yet diverse selection. Having researched Brava's beforehand, I was eager to try their Pesto BLT, and I wasn't disappointed. The sandwich featured juicy, honey-smoked bacon that melted in my mouth, complemented by fresh arugula and a subtle pesto aioli. The house-made kettle chips, initially appearing overdone, were delightfully crispy and paired perfectly with the spicy chipotle aioli. A refreshing pickle spear rounded out the plate. To accompany my meal, I ordered the Aphrodite cocktail. While its Creamsicle-like flavor wasn’t to my personal taste, it was well-crafted and served ice-cold. The attention to detail extended beyond the dining area. Curious about the upstairs, I ventured up the spiral staircase to find clean restrooms. However, a bit of dusting on the vents and stall tops wouldn’t go amiss—a minor note from someone who values cleanliness. Overall, my experience at Brava's was delightful. The combination of ambiance, attentive service, and flavorful dishes makes it a standout spot in this quiet little town. At $33 for a satisfying meal and drink, it’s a value worth every penny. Kudos to the chef and a heartfelt thank you to Lindsey for her exceptional service.

This is a hidden gem! The food was very tasty and had beautiful presentation. The restaurant is located in a relaxing atmosphere and service great. We went there for lunch after visiting the museum and was a very lucky find. We didn't have reservations and we got right in. Possibly would be busy during supper hours since the food is so good. They also serve alcohol beverages that are tasty too.

Great cocktails. Delicious food. Charming restaurant. What's not to like? We had two pasta dishes, a steak dinner, and a BLT. The person who had the sandwich was not overly impressed, but the other dishes were excellent. They have a huge cocktail menu of inventive drinks. We liked all that we tried. Good wine and beer list, too

I have been to Stax three times so far and absolutely love it! I have yet to have a bad experience, and would definitely go more if I wasn't normally at work when they're opened. They have a decent variety of sandwiches and several other lunch items, and you can alter menu items if you happen to be a picky eater like myself. I have had their signature Vandal sandwich with a couple alterations the first two times I ate there, and today tried their beef BBQ sandwich that was just as delicious! Their pretzels are absolutely to die for as well and if you can get there in time you should definitely grab one! The prices are good, the location is great, establishment is inviting and clean, the employees are always nice, and the owner is a stand up guy. I highly recommend this place!

I don't use the phrase "outstanding" too often, but the sandwich deserves it. Very simple roast beef and mushroom, I think there were a total of four ingredients on my sandwich including bread. But what excellent chewy bread, well shaved meat. Good ratios and balance. Genuinely good food. Two bucks more for the sandwich than I expected, but friendly employees, always had a smile, didn't mind a few special requests. Enjoyable experience.

My wife and I stopped in for a lunch date. I had the Vandal and she had the Holiday. Both sandwiches were amazing. Fast friendly service, great food, and nice atmosphere. Definitely one of our favorites.

Great place to eat! Always friendly staff and the sandwiches are awesome! The bread is homemade and delicious! I get the Vandal club and a cup of soup! It has never disappointed! Would highly recommend any sandwich!

Old town sushi

Sushi restaurant
Old Town Sushi is a popular spot with a small, cozy atmosphere that may result in some waiting time, especially on weekends. The menu offers a good variety of sushi options, although the drink selection could be improved. Despite occasional shortages of certain drinks, the sushi itself is described as delicious and high-quality. The restaurant's downtown location adds to its charm and makes it an ideal choice for a date night.
The sushi here was fresh, delicious, and well presented. There is limited seating at tables in the restaurant itself, but we were seated at a cute solo table in the hallway which was lovely and felt very private. Staff was attentive, and we received everything we ordered in a timely fashion.

This is a small place so be prepared for a wait on the weekends. The menu has a good selection of sushi. The drink menu isn't the best & they didn't have any cider. My wife & step daughter ordered drinks off the menu & they ran out of the 2 different drinks they ordered. The sushi was good. There were 3 of us & we ordered 4 rolls & there were 3 pieces left. I ordered the diabla with 5 heat on a 1-5 scale. "Are you sure? It's Carolina reaper?" they asked. Yes. It was spicy but not GET ME SOME MILK NOW hot. I don't know if they have paper menus, we used the qr code. 4 rolls, no drinks, $70. Will we return? Yes.

Amazing sushi as long as you're willing to wait, which for the rolls is fine. The wait staff though could be way better. We waited over 30 minutes just to get our drinks and rarely were checked on after our food arrived. For 3 people to get 2 rolls each it was almost 3 hours start to finish with each of us only get 1 drink refill.

Delicious food!! Prompt and friendly service! Bite size from Seasons was excellent as well!!

I absolutely love the sushi here, the quality and flavor are consistently great. However, the overall experience this time was really disappointing. We were seated around 5:45 PM but didn’t receive our food until 6:50 PM. There weren’t many people in the restaurant, and guests who arrived after us were greeted and served well before we even got our meals. Eventually, the hostess apologized, mentioning they had forgotten to have someone take our order, but the waitress never acknowledged the mistake and skipped over our table completely when checking in on other guests. To make matters worse, after we finally finished eating, we waited another 10 minutes just to get the bill. As the waitress was still catering to every table and we once again had to ask for the bill the same way we had to ask to have someone take our order. As much as I enjoy the food, the service really missed the mark this time.

Very good sushi for inland. I definitely recommend for those that love sushi and seafood as well as those who don't as they have vegetarian and non fish options. Wait times are a bit and can range from 20 mins to over an hour when busy. You won't find better sushi within 100 miles

I popped in for a snack with my son after school (about 4:00) one day. We ordered a couple of appetizers: Crab Rangoon and Lobster nachos. The Crab Rangoon (fried one tons with cream cheese), was dark brown and obviously overcooked. The Lobster Nachos, while visually appealing, tasted like undrained canned shrimp, or lobster. It was so salty I could barely eat it. When the waitress asked how the food was I told her the lobster was "over salty." She immediately spun around and walked away with no discourse. All of the staff looked and acted like it was all new to them, or like they had just bought this reasturant. The bill for the two appetizers was $35. I'm reluctant ro post a negative review, but this experience really put me off.

Great little restaurant! Went there a couple weeks ago, service was great and food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back.
