Shopping mall
Shopping
Crossroads Center is a spacious indoor mall featuring a diverse selection of department stores, retail outlets, and dining options. As the largest mall in Minnesota outside of the Twin Cities, it boasts well-known anchor stores such as Scheels, DSW, Macy's, JCPenney, and Target. Originally established in 1966, the mall has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years.
Could be a little more populated with commercial entities, but as far car-cantered 2024- Crossroads ain’t doing too badly. Clean facilities all-around, properly adequate food court tenants; easily competitive leader when compared with Southdale in Edina as far as business/restaurant diversity. It’s a pretty basic mall all things considered, but in this case I think simple is better. Very quiet in the morning and early afternoon. Could probably get away with working out of a laptop here; wink-wink.

I really love all the options of different stores they have in the mall!! There really is something for everyone there 😁 I've been 2 times and I can say both times I've met some really amazing people working in the stores ❤️
Victoria W — Google review
I usually don't walk around the mall fairly typical store fronts and businesses in the Midwest. But I needed decent walking shoes for an up coming trip. I noticed so many new store fronts and stores about to move in this fall. Hopefully this is an ongoing trend because I do enjoy walking around it and checking things out during the holidays or in mid winter! An especially handy stop if I need to run to target or Macy's for something. Good things in the horizon for this mall 👍

Family owned and cared for. I highly recommend this place. The bar area is a little small for happy hour groups. But smaller 4-6 people is ideal. Great solection and you can taste the love put into it

I used to have a friend here. I used to come here just to chat with her, just to wave "hi" at her. These days, this place makes my depression and suicidal thoughts flare up. I don't come here as much anymore. I see all the other people here and it just makes me feel lonely. I liked to hand out notes to people here who are kind to me or catch my attention in other ways. I'm sure its earned me a fair touch of criticism, but that's how I met a woman who became a very close and beloved friend of mine : ) we used to hang out here at the mall, just walking around and talking 😌 (now we don't even know each other 😔) a lot of people seem to like the notes, too : ) I like stopping in at RCL, Target, Zumiez, Earthbound, Scheels, and the cat store when they're open.
Matthew S — Google review
Decent. Bathrooms needs attending to more frequently but it’s okay to place to Shop, not too many urban stores. If you like Macys and JC penny and a few others to shop at , This is the place.
Brandie H — Google review
To ownership of the cross roads mall: “Whether you have reasonable grounds for a lawsuit against the mall depends on several factors, including the laws in your jurisdiction and the specifics of the situation. Generally, property owners (like mall owners) have a duty to provide a reasonably safe environment for their visitors. If the mall was aware of previous violent incidents and failed to take adequate security measures—such as installing security cameras—that could potentially be seen as negligence. Key points to consider: 1. **Duty of Care:** Did the mall owe you a duty to protect you from foreseeable harm? 2. **Breach of Duty:** Did the mall fail to take reasonable steps to prevent such harm (e.g., by not installing cameras despite prior incidents)? 3. **Causation:** Can it be shown that the mall’s failure contributed to the inability to identify or apprehend the attacker? 4. **Damages:** You have suffered harm (medical bills, emotional distress, etc.). If the mall’s negligence can be proven, you might have grounds to seek compensation for your medical bills and other damages.”
Candelario C — Google review
Got to check out this mall and it's quite big and has a lot of variety on top of a target 🎯 But my main purchase was this Japanese candy from a foreign candy shop here and they were nice 🙂

Breakfast restaurant
Diner
Brigitte's Cafe is a beloved local spot known for its generous portions of classic American comfort food and all-day breakfast. The cozy, old-fashioned diner exudes a small-town charm and offers friendly service with free coffee. The menu features homestyle favorites like liver and onions, chicken fried steak, crispy hash browns, and delicious soups. This family-run restaurant has been a staple in the community for quite some time, serving up tasty meals with a side of history.
I grew up in New Prague. Brigitte's Cafe reminds me of the small town diners my parents took us too. Great menu. Their crispy Hash-brown's are to die for! It's worth the trek. Your experience can be a quick in and out, or eat & visit! Check them out.

Food decent but atmosphere is terrible, especially for one. They gave me no option other than to sit at this loud hallway next to the carts with trash and clanking dishes. Made my meal super unenjoyable. This should not be a seating area.

Such a great local cafe. Just off main drag in an area with various businesses and parking lots. It was an extremely busy and full parking lot but we had zero wait and good food fast too. The food was amazing and service was friendly, fast and it has a cozy diner feel. I can't wait to go back. Very good hamburger steak and shrimp. Carrots tasted fresh. Very reasonable prices and full menu too.

Love this cafe everything I have ordered has been great! You can tell the cook loves his job. The staff are always nice and the decor of the cafe definitely fits you get that old timely feel with nothing but good food that fills you up. I have yet to find something on there menu that I do not like. Parking is a little hard since it is always full although there are times the parking lot is full but hardly any people in the cafe.

This is one of the best diners I've been to. They have it all .. breakfast all day, dinners , homemade soup and sweet rolls! I love love loved it. If your in our near st cloud and want a small town cafe, this is it! 50 + years mom n pop business and it shows!

WE all enjoyed dining here today. I have to say Robert was the host seating us and he is great beautiful smile and made us feel welcome, and our server was also excellent.

Upon walking in, it smelled and looked like an old Denny’s that I used to frequent, on the West Coast, when I was a child. The food was delicious and warm. The waitress, although very busy was pleasant and patient. My husband had the Liver & Onions, my son had the Sirloin Steak w/ Baked potatoes, and I had the Meat Lover’s Omelette.

Mexican restaurant
Bravo Burrito is a vibrant, local eatery offering an array of meat and vegetarian options in a lively counter-serve setting. Established in 1985 by founders with extensive travel experience in Mexico, the restaurant boasts flavorful and hearty burritos. Visitors can also enjoy tacos and other delectable items. The venue is popular among hikers looking to refuel after a trek, with the option to take food to nearby Knights of Columbus Park for a scenic picnic by the river.
This place has the best burritos. Today I tried the Tacos El Pastor. They were gtreat

The food was fabulous. Some sauces were sweet with a bit of heat, in particular the salsa and the habenero sauce. The Verde sauce was my favorite. I got the grilled chicken bowl, and it was good, but the next time,I will get it with chicken mole', and my husband got the Chaz with Chicken Mole' and Beef Colorado, but next time he would get chicken mole' and Chicken Verde. My husband is not really a fan of the Beef Colorado as it was heavy on the tomato flavor. Lastly, chips are better than store bought. Overall, we enjoyed EVERYTHING!

A favorite lunch spot that never disappoints. Today, we had the smothered chicken verde burrito plate and beef Colorado enchilada plate. Plates are $17 and worth every bite! So good!

Ate here for the first time last night as we were looking for a quick dinner and a drink. We're glad we did! We thought the food was excellent, and generous portions for hungry people. My Ultima margarita was yummy. Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was great (it's not a white tablecloth kind of place, but clean and comfortable, plenty of tables to seat yourself at). We'll definitely be back.

Discovering a restaurant that consistently delivers great service and great food, without needing to be spectacularly over-the-top, is truly a delightful experience. It’s in these establishments that you find a comforting rhythm: a warm welcome, attentive staff who anticipate your needs, and dishes that are expertly prepared, flavorful, and satisfying every single time. There’s a profound joy in knowing you can count on a place for a reliably excellent meal, where the focus is genuinely on your enjoyment rather than fleeting trends. This kind of consistency isn't just 'good'; it's a testament to dedication and passion, creating an atmosphere where you feel genuinely cared for and nourished. Indeed, these are the places that truly enrich your dining life, proving that "just great" can, in fact, be absolutely wonderful

I ordered the black bean nachos and vegetarian burritos. I arrived and was told my order will be up shortly. The place is like Chipotle setup but looks nasty. The lady bagging the food was throwing my food in the bag. While putting the other customer food in gently. I get my food and only had a splash of black beans and a butt load of chips. -1/10. The burrito was 4/10. Spending $35 for some horrible food and terrible service. Never will I return. I don't see how this place has good reviews 🤔.
Porchia C — Google review
St Cloud, MN location Would of given 5stars but I was upset with the toppings options. I was told they had brown rice which apparently they don't. I was also disappointed that they only have egg in a breakfast burrito that is only a limited time burrito. As a guy who works out I am looking for places that have healthy proteins, carbs, fats. The veggie options are minimal for vitamin/minerals nutrients. Protein is great! Carbs are minimal for options. White rice is not nutrient dense which was why I was hoping they had brown for substitute. Very sad and unfortunate as far as not having health friendly options! And the cost is not up to good standards. Also had gotten a bowl and asked for guacamole which I didn't get. Hmmm

When I was a young homo sapien, WGN was the only Channel we had access to. So besides Kevin Sorbo and his glorious performance of Hercules I had the Chicago Bulls and Michael Jordan.... it was the ultimate childhood between the two. If only I had a bar that could express how I felt. I experienced that here at Ultimate Sports Bar and grill. Kevin Sorbo mixed with Michael jordan. Ultimate greatness. Honestly the environment was awesome I love the layout. We sat at the outside bar and even though my fear of bees is sometimes debilitating, I toughed it out due to the vibe. You could see TVs tear down heading to a interior bar on a lower level which I thought was really cool. I would love to be able to watch a Sunday football out here. We loves all of the food except for that one dip on the pretzel that was weird. I tip my hat to you Ultimate Sports Bar and grill. Oh and whoever the manager is with the goatee...the bald dude. You, sir, are an example of what managers should be doing at restaurants. I would assume you were a manager. I saw you doing everything. I assume your name was lead by example. Nice work dude, it definitely shows. Also I used voice to text for this entire review and I'm not going to proofread it so I'm hitting send.

The wings were great, had the special: beef commercial. Wanted a half order... Nope, didn't make one. Well, from my truck stops cafe, this was a half order. We had a little more beef, another slice of bread, 2 scoops of mashed potatoes, smothered it in gravy and beans in a cup on the side. Don't git me wrong, this was very good, but according to my mental picture, this was a half order. Quite enough for what I was hoping for. A little more gravy would have been nice. All in all a very filling and tasty meal. Will be back!

We went here twice and had a great experience both times on our trip. The bartender introduced the owner to us and we discussed how we had both had a fire in our restaurants in the past. It is an experience I don't wish upon my worst enemy but was great to see we had both had come out bigger and better than ever. His genuine kindness and hospitality was amazing... he even gave us tickets to the ball game! THE BEST seats I have ever seen! We were treated like royalty and felt so fortunate to meet him that day! We had food and many drinks here and everything was great. Awesome sports bar atmosphere with many games and even ax throwing! The service from the bartenders were great both times we went and we felt at home away from home. I sat in front of the kitchen door the second time and let me tell you! As a restaurant owner I would be very proud to show off how CLEAN that kitchen looked from where I was sitting! If we make it back up to Minnesota, we will definitely be visiting again! Thank you!!

Was an awesome experience for us! The food was good. Wings and Fish Tacos were both very well prepared and we both said we would order again. Many beers on tap and mixed drinks available as well. I'm pretty sure that we will be back to watch a game as there were a plethora of TVs and would not be out of sight.
David S — Google review
It was the only restaurant that was open on July 4th. We decided to give it a try. We had their special Korean BBQ chicken fried rice, berry lemonade fish bowl, and tiramisu as dessert. They were okay. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food. The service and the atmosphere were good. It's a nice place to hang out with friends.

Quarry Park and Nature Preserve is a sprawling 643-acre park that offers a range of outdoor activities for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, picnicking, fishing, swimming, and even rock-climbing in this scenic wildlife spot. The park features 20 quarries where adventure-seekers can indulge in activities like mountain biking, trout fishing, and scuba diving.
Quarry Park and Nature Preserve is a truly special place, offering a unique experience that combines natural beauty with a fascinating history. The park's stunning landscape is a direct result of its past as a working granite quarry. The towering rock formations and deep, clear-water quarries are a testament to the area's industrial heritage, transformed into a recreational haven. It's incredible to explore the trails and see how nature has reclaimed this space, with the dramatic cliffs and refreshing swimming areas. You can feel the history as you walk through the park. It's not just a park; it's a place where you can swim in a former quarry! The park offers a variety of activities, from swimming and hiking to rock climbing and picnicking, making it a perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Quarry Park is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable outdoor experience with a historical twist.

With a $10 parking pass, we were able to go on an easy day hike. It was great! The swimming area was not too busy and we enjoyed seeing the quarry pits, the giant piles of rock, and seeing the animals- insects, turtles, tadpoles, snails, deer, etc. One recommendation would be to move some rocks to the side of the trails to give people more options for “benches” for sitting. It was a hot day we visited and the walk got kind of long for the younger kids. They would have loved to have had more options of places to sit and rest. We had a great time though, and would recommend it to people who want to go for a easy walk in nature.
Cherita G — Google review
This place has held the greatest memories for me since i found the place to bring my girlfriend swimming in the summer of 2012 when i was 17. My son and myself carried season passes since he was 6. He is now 10. My boy he could probably find his way out if deserted because of how often we would purposely try to get lost in the woods together on walks so i could develop his internal navigation system. We should have gotten a dog when he lived with me, but i am glad i got a dog to replace the sound of footsteps next to me as i stayed in the town he left. My son rode bike through the woods since he was strong enough to pedal a big kid bike, even with training wheels digging into the dirt. I walked faster than he could bike back then, but nothing was more rememberable than the times he would fly behind me on his fat tire bike. We also fished there quite a few times, our spot was near the cliff jumping area. He was a reason i didn’t need a fishing license, but we didn’t know that at first so he had to be the only one allowed to handle our fishing equipment and fish. It was how i got him to hold onto a pole for longer than it takes to become bored. He did not catch any fish. We started going to the beach instead. He can’t swim but he has the balls to jump off a baby cliff into the water after a half hour of convincing during my doggy paddle & V-bucks reward. He earned it and we love that beach. Its $5 to park if you don’t buy a $20 season pass sticker for your vehicle. Its packed in the summer because of the beach and swimming area that has cliffs to jump from.

Highly recommended! Something totally unusual, cool history of quarry mining, with a great use for today! Nice hike through nature, lots of swimming and jumping spots, some climbing or bouldering, there is something for everyone. It is truly unique and worth the stop! If we visit during the summer heat, I wouldn't hesitate to experience swimming.
Patrick D — Google review
I wasn’t expecting much but this place seemed to offer a lot. The water was green and nice. Scenery was beautiful. Not overcrowded either. If you enjoy jumping off cliffs or diving, you should visit.

I'd heard of Quarry Park and Nature Preserve, but had never been. Though I'd wait until autumn and for the sun to come out before making the 1-1/2 hour drive for my first visit. So glad I did. Beauty and surprises everywhere Saturday afternoon. 🍂 "The park and preserve encompasses 684 acres on a site of 20 former granite mining quarries. Miles of trails wind through a wide variety of scenic nature areas, from woodlands and open prairie, to wetland and unquarried bedrock areas with swimming and picnic options." Chuck E. Cheese is a vibrant and family-friendly destination that promises endless fun for kids of all ages. This popular chain features an array of arcade games, play zones, and delicious pizza parties that make it the perfect spot for celebrations or just a day out with the family. One delightful treat to try is their hand-pulled cotton candy, which offers unique flavors like Pink Vanilla, Blue Raspberry, and Green Sour Apple—each visit can bring a new sweet surprise!
We are gold members so we visit quite often and always enjoy our time there. Every single person who works there are a joy to be around. From the managers to the other employees, these people do their job very well. They are very attentive to their customers and childrens safety. Chuck. E comes out at least twice during each visit. We haven't experienced any machines but maybe 1 being out of order. They are prompt in fixing any machine that does need repairs. They are also very interactive and patient with the kids. I dont know how they do it as my 2 drive me nuts so big kudos to them!

We love Chuck E. Cheese! We are very impressed with the cleanliness, the food and the gaming experience. Our toddler always has a great time (age 4) and was especially excited for this visit as Chuck E. was dressed up for Halloween! We also appreciate that the staff ensured safety checks on the way out to verify that our child arrived to the center with us and left with only us. We love knowing that our toddler is in a play place that is safe and well monitored, especially given the level of activity going on at any given time. Thank you St. Cloud for all of the memories! We look forward to many more!

My family purchased the Unlimited Gold Pass, and it is an amazing value! We have been able to visit every day and our son loves this Chuck E Cheese. You easily get your moneys worth within a few visits. My son of course loves the games, but even for food you get 50% off! We also really appreciate the manager David! Every day without fail you see a smile on his face. He is the perfect person to be a manager for Chuck E Cheese. With kids you of course have to have patience that only parents would understand and with the craziness that comes with loads of kids in an Arcade, David brings a pleasant friendly calm presence every time. Thank you David and your team for creating a fun atmosphere for families to come to in Saint Cloud. We have been to almost all the Chuck E Cheeses in MN, and this one is always the most consistent and our favorite. Chuck E Cheese you found a great one with David!

0 stars if I could, won’t be back. I don’t give negative reviews, but I am making a special exception for this one. The trouble started as soon as we walked in the door and entered through the gate and were promptly yelled at by staff. Since we have not been to the establishment we were unaware of the rules, there was no staff at the entrance, nor were there any signs indicating we should wait for staff to stamp our hands before entry. Paying for the “registration” of game cards is a joke! Well over $150 for some games and pizza for 3 kids and 2 adults. If you are a manager at this establishment , I strongly encourage you to address your rude staff.

I was told by my friend (who was with me) that it’s very safe and great for kids! I was so happy to see that you need numbers that match with your kids (only visible using black light.) I’ll be coming back for sure!! Thank you for making parents at ease and our kids to have fun!

I haven't been to Chuck E. Cheese for 34 years until now. It was bright, clean, and fun. I brought my daughter of 4 for the first time and she had a blast. We got there at door open, played unlimited games for a hour, and then ate lunch. It cost around $55 dollars for her play pass and food for all 4 of us. All be it spendy we really had a lot of fun. She was able to get prizes, ride on some toddler rides, and meet Chuck E. Cheese. She asked if we could come back the next day, she had so much fun.

Restaurant
Noodles and Company is a fast-casual eatery that offers a variety of international noodle and pasta dishes. On a recent visit, the staff exhibited exemplary service, despite preparing to close. The food was promptly delivered and proved to be delectable. Additionally, the customer service received high praise. However, there were some concerns regarding the cleanliness of the beverage and condiment area; employees appeared more occupied with unrelated conversations instead of upkeep tasks.
Delicious food, with a ton of variety for such a simple concept. Personal favorite is the pad Thai, it’s absolutely delicious. The prices are okay, not outstanding, but also not bad, and the portions are enormous (a small bowl is more than enough for most people). For anybody on a diet, the Zoodles are great—tons of texture, and they still taste delicious.

I have three pastas I usually get when I come to Noodles. I love the Pasta Fresca, Spicy Korean Beef Noodles & Penne Rosa. Today I'll be reviewing Spicy Korean Beef Noodles. The Spicy Korean Beef Noodles are good. It offers a nice kick & the cucumbers on here help make it a perfect combo and off set the spice so it isnt overpowering the flavor. The combination of the ingredients are perfect. My biggest complaint is that I only got maybe 3 to 4 slices of beef. Usually that's the case but this time it was super disappointing. I ordered pick up today and it was ready on time and accurate so that's appreciated. It was fresh and hot too! I would recommend this location for service and Noodles in general.

My first thing is that the issue was not the workers. They were all great and switched up my husband's order right away for him when his food came out different than what he wanted. But I'm throughly disgusted and disappointed. The place itself is gross and just looks unclean. The drink station and utensil area is visibly dirty and looked to not have been cleaned in a while and also the tables and floors looked dirty. The bathrooms also felt really dirty and unclean. When my food (Pad Thai) was brought out I instantly noticed an unpleasant and familiar smell that I couldn't place as it was brought to me. I shrugged it off and started eating but it did not taste good and I normally don't complain about my food so I just kept eating. But was getting more grossed out. Because of the food quality and the smell. I stopped eating it and ate a few bites of my husbands food. Which was good but not overly amazing. But it was edible. Then still smelling that weird smell I took a good whiff of my food and it clicked. It smelled like literal puke I was so off put and disgusted I had to move the bowl away and I put the rest in the garbage. My husband even noted he thought it smelled and tasted weird after having a bite of mine and agreed it smelled like puke. Not saying that the place is like that all the time but I was pretty grossed out by that and will definitely not be eating there again.

I got the Zucchini pesto and grilled chicken. Overall it was a good experience. The food wasn’t hot but warm. That was a little bit of a let down but it was still good. Tasted fresh and still had a crunch to the zucchini. Service was good and friendly. Restaurant was clean

I went to Noodles & Company to grab a quick supper. I ordered a small Penne Fresca with shrimp and it was over $11. The flavor is there but seems a little pricey for a small bowl of food.

This app, frankly, has brought a bitter taste to my dining experience! I was forced to drive across town to retrieve my order, an inconvenience not expected. Further, the app lacks customization options, I couldn't add the extra sauce I usually get. When questioned, an employee curtly mentioned I hadn't paid for it - a nuisance given the app doesn't have options for such add-ons. This experience was deeply frustrating and disappointing!

Good, predictable food. Convenient location. The staff was friendly and nice. The only reason it didn’t make 5 stars in my book was the cleanliness, or lack of. It wasn’t awful, the tables needed wiping, the floor needed to be swept, and the women’s bathroom needed a quick clean. I’ll definitely go back though. How do you not love Noodles?

This place took too long and the service was horrible. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. This place sucks. The chipotle right nextdoor is wayyyyy better! Also there was no refund when we were there for over an hour.

Restaurant
Step into a nostalgic 50s atmosphere at Park Diner in Waite Park, where vintage red-leather and chrome decor, Formica boomerang tabletops, and checkered floors take you back in time. The full menu offers delicious shakes and malts, while the kids' menu comes with a fun cardboard car for them to take home.
Absolutely love this place I have been going there for about 25 years! The cooks are flipping amazing!!!!! Hats off to them for sure! The rest of the staff running up front are always very friendly, nice, and curtious. Between the staff and quality of food they make this place is and will ALWAYS be a Favorite spot! I have been moved 20 miles away and still get there as much as possible. Lunch or dinner it doesn't matter. The environment is awesome! Oh don't forget to save room for a REAL Malt!
Randy P — Google review
Great vibe and good food. Got "the chicken twist." Think mushroom swiss burger but crispy (or grilled) chicken breast. Unique spin, but it was very juicy. Got battered potatoes for my side, nothing special about them, most places call them breakfast potatoes, but still not bad. Cookies and cream shake for dessert, add m&m's, and it was served retro, tin cup style. Fun and delicious.

Whether you're looking for a place for nostalgia, to share a malt shake with your sweetheart, or to bring the kiddos to, this 1950's themed diner has just that. On the outskirts of Waite Park on HWY 75, you can't miss this silver exterior diner. When you're done soaking in the exterior style, you can head on it. The front doors are a PULL type of door. See the arcade as you enter. Friendly staff will greet and seat you. Don't want a booth or seat, the counter seating is an option. Once at your seat, you're offered drinks - they have Pepsi products. The menu is creatively named. They have items like Betty Boop fish sandwich, Super 88, and even Rockin' Reuben. 😆 The menu is also on their website. NOTE: there are no specials on the weekends. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch wrap with a side of onion rings. Did you know the tartar sauce is made in-house?! Delicious! Of course I had to try a malt. Everything was creamy and scrumptious. 🤤 While you wait for your food to cook, take a moment to admire the interior. You'll see 1950's framed ads, pictures of the older classic cars, framed magazine covers and vinyl, and metal posters. The seats are red and white - classic diner style. Don't forget to sing along to the classics like Elvis Presley and Fleetwood Mac. Bathrooms? To the left side of the building just past the counter seating. Gentlemen, James Dean will show you which door. Ladies, look for Marilyn Monroe. Enjoy your experience!

We went to Park Diner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My husband ordered the crispy chicken bacon cheese burger, cheese curds, and caramel rolls. I ordered a crispy chicken bacon ranch wrap, chicken wild rice soup, and bread pudding. We ordered so much food because we wanted to try so many things on the menu. I love the wrap and the soup. Bread pudding was fantastic! Cheese curds were delicious! The server was friendly and gave us good suggestions. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. It felt like we were in a movie. There were also plenty of parking spots. The food is decent for the price. We had a great time. We'll definitely come back!

Super cool place! Very good pricing and only took 9 min to get our food even when it was very busy! Our waitress was great! The cooks did awesome !!

Reuben was excellent, good corned beef, nice ratio of sauerkraut, and wasn't soggy. Also the spaghetti special of the day was solid. Kids menu items (specifically the pancakes/bacon) we're just fine (I know, hard to mess up). Service was friendly and timely. Three star on the atmosphere just because it was a bit tight and I'm not the biggest fan of the retro diner feel, but it was clean and tidy so more just a personal preference. Oh, and the malts were really good.

This is a great Mediterranean restaurant, with excellent food and service. My gyro plate was absolutely delicious! It was very quiet when we were there, so check this place out! They need to show you how great they are, and you'll definitely enjoy it!

Our go to fancy date-night place. Dinners are always memorable and special here. Make sure to grab reservations if it’s a holiday or certain nights.
Melinda L — Google review
We went to Cafe Renaissance to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My husband ordered the seafood trio, and I ordered the lamb and beef gyro, lamb souvlaki, and salmon combo. The seafood trio was amazing, but the combo and the soup were just okay, in my opinion. The bread appetizers were good. The palate cleanser was delicious. I love the beautiful food plating. When we went to a fancy restaurant in the city, the server would pull a chair to help me sit down. I feel like it's just a small gesture, but it increases the fanciness of the restaurant. It made me feel like I was being treated like a queen. I love the fancy atmosphere of the restaurant. We didn't have to wait long for our food, which was great. I guess I came with some kind of expectation, but I just felt underwhelmed in terms of food flavor and service.

This place is very very romantic and the atmosphere is top notch, a real treat for date night. The prices are pretty high and sometimes a bit much so it isn’t a regular spot for us… however what you pay feels appropriate usually because of the environment and the service level you get. Pretty good food here and everything comes out paced very well and there are never any issues any time we have gone. Excellent professional service here and just a good looking impressive spot. Love that we have this place for special occasions.
Brad R — Google review
This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the overall vibe of the place is very relaxing - the pianist and horn player tonight were very good! Food is not cheap, but for the ambiance and the quality of the meal, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better date night spot in the St Cloud area. Looking forward to our 3rd visit.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary dinner here and enjoyed everything we ordered. The Lamb appetizer was cooked perfectly. We had both the French onion soup and the seafood chowder. The french onion was the best french onion I have ever had! I wish I had the recipe! Our entrees were both amazing. Service was great and the atmosphere was romantic. Ordered two meals with an appetizer and a bottle of wine and spent about $200 total. Definitely worth it!

The salad was a small plate of lettuce with two cherry tomatoes and two thin slices of cucumber. The Chicken Penne chicken was over cooked and tough for $27. I’ve eaten here numerous times before and enjoyed it. It should be better for what they charge. Won’t be back.

Munsinger Gardens, along with Clemens Gardens, is a historic and well-known landmark in the St. Cloud area. The gardens are the result of a romantic story and the dedication of many volunteers. Visitors can stroll through manicured paths and be amazed by the beauty of hundreds of thousands of blooms, from rose gardens to various water features.
Absolutely stunning garden with lots of both shady and sunny areas with benches and swings to stop and take in the view. We saw both couples and families having picnics, folks taking pictures, and people walking dogs with still plenty of solitude and quiet for everyone. What a stunning garden and place to walk or rest, with spectacular views of the river, and all for free! There's a restroom building, too. Highly recommend visiting.

What a beautiful part of the world! Right along the Mississippi River, this is a wonderfully curated, manicured and maintained garden. It is free and open to the public. Lots of street parking and a parking lot next to the garden for easy access. I highly recommend visiting when you are in town.

Beautiful place to stroll around and enjoy a nice sunny day. About an hour drive from the Cities. There is street parking. You can walk up to the other side where there are more gardens and a little ice cream shop as well.

the gardens are absolutely beautiful. the upper garden has a huge photography fee and the lower garden is cheaper for doing photography. when you call and get the permit to do photography in the garden you get 2 hrs time slots. they say that they only allow 1 person in each garden doing photography at a time but I noticed both times that there was more than just the one. they also say no photography with people in them including selfie but noticed a lot of that too. over all the gardens are beautiful but I think they need to get rid of the fees since its not followed at all.

After our original venue canceled just a few months before our wedding, we were scrambling to find a local, budget-friendly space that could accommodate our date and needs. We are so grateful to have been recommended the St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center for our October 2024 reception. The Herberger Suite was absolutely perfect—conveniently located downtown, with a beautiful view of the river, and just the right size for our celebration. The space was versatile and perfect for our alternative wedding, where we provided our own music (including a special a cappella performance), set out board games and activities for guests, and invited everyone to join in a photo scavenger hunt. Communication with the staff was clear and helpful, and the flexible contract options made it easy to adjust our plans on a short timeline. Everything came together wonderfully, and we had an amazing time celebrating with our guests!

Every event or conference I have been to here has been well laid-out, organized and enjoyable. This venue has plenty of room, is attached to the Green Mill restaurant and two hotels and is right on the Mississippi River. It is easy to get to and has plenty of parking in the attached ramp.

We were here for our son's college graduation. Very nice facility! Our only complaint was the parking ramp. We waited in a line backing up onto the ramp stairs 3 levels to prepay for parking. There is one machine you have to use to pay before you leave the ramp.

I come here about twice a year for a convention at this location. The place is always very nice quiet and I love the location and the hotels around to be able to stay in while I am at the event. There is a parking lot, but it is hard to park larger vehicles Overall I love coming to this arena.

9/2/23: Update. Here for a convention. The facility is in good shape, and a very good location for access in Minnesota, plenty of parking. Nice time. 5/2023: Update: Still a good place for a convention, riverside hallways mysteriously are missing any furniture. The facility is comfortable, and parking is easy. Breakfast at Green Mill is only buffet now, but they still have lunch on the menu. It's just a short walk indoors. Nice.

I have to share the sad news of this delicious, sweet, and incredibly welcoming restaurant. That has been opened for Eleven years, and now in January 2025, I have just discovered.😢😭The decor sends you to sunny Arizona Vibes.🌞It’s owed by a Beautiful Hard working and Friendly Family from AZ. The Food is prepared with love and freshly served. The best combo for Delicious Food.🥰👍🏼And FYI: Mr. C the son is the most cool and awesome person in the restaurant.🤭To be honest, I agree with his opinion. He took the time to check-in at the table, and gave my entourage some Family history of the place.🤩Best Customer Service…💫If in the area and hungry for Awesomely Delicious Food. Stop in for Lunch and Check it out, it’s worth a Drive!🥰👍🏼 P.S. The Cupcakes are to die for… They’re Freshly baked in house.🤤 I had the strawberry 🍓 one, and Sorry it didn’t make it to the picture.🤭

The Strami Burger is easily the best burger in town. Generation portion of pastrami and coleslaw on a excellently seasoned burger and the bun is toasted perfectly. Lake George Park is a popular outdoor destination in St. Cloud, offering a variety of activities for both locals and visitors. The park features a picturesque lake where you can spot kayakers and paddleboarders, as well as walking paths and green spaces for picnics. During the summer, the park hosts outdoor concerts, adding to its vibrant atmosphere.
Lake George in St Cloud was awesome. We walked on the frozen lake. Watched teams play hurling and people ice skating. We enjoyed it very much. It was so very cold due to the wind. Plenty of parking. No charge to go. Come out and enjoy the lake and the history that surrounds the lake. I loved this town.

Nice place for family, children and just having fun. I caught my first fish ever right here at Lake George. As you can see it's a big one and trophy worthy! It all but snatched me and my pole halfway across Lake George. However, being the advid fisherman that I am. I quickly regained control and was able to reel it in. Upon seeing its size I briefly contemplated how it would look on a plaque mounted on my wall. Now before you admonish me... Do know that I too am a animal lover; and expeditiously returned this mammoth of a catch back to its natural habitat Lake George. All that being said, I love Lake George. It is centrally located, convenient, has plenty of things for children to explore, a walkway, restrooms, parking, and is well maintained. I honestly like seeing the trees & flowers when they're in full bloom. There are plenty of things going on during the warmer months. So if you've not checked it out I suggest you do.

For a medium size College, this venue is really way above my expectations! Very fun place to watch hockey

As a graduation venue it is simply terrible. Horrible audio, terrible parking, really the WORST possible place, why a town like St. Cloud & SCTC can't do better I don't know. Hockey arenas are crude, and this one is only fit for hockey. Avoid it if you can!

Great to see an arena named after one of the greatest collegiate hockey coaches and the architect of the greatest sports moment of the 20th Century: the 1980 Miracle On Ice Gold Medal for the United States in Olympic hockey

Went to a graduation ceremony there. It's a great place to have something like that. Lots of room. Seats are pretty tight, tho.

A great venue for hockey. Onsite parking is pretty good, not too hard to get in or out. The traditional food options plus couple local uniques. For college hockey you can't ask for more.

Thai restaurant
Arroy Thai & Filipino Restaurant offers a unique fusion of Southeast Asian flavors, combining the vibrant spices of Thailand with the comforting dishes of the Philippines. The diverse menu features delectable options like Pad Thai, Adobo, and Kare-Kare, all prepared with a focus on authenticity and taste using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The restaurant provides a memorable dining experience that immerses guests in the heart of Asia.
I have to say the wings are amazing, the season and crunch is just right. I also had the yellow curry at a level 2 and the spice and flavor was perfect. I had mine with white rice, I would say you just need some more rice I didt feel like it was enough. I will definitely be back to get some more wings and try more of the menu items.
C P — Google review
I ordered their wings because there was a sign that said best wings - it’s not the typical Thai flavored wings I’ve had anywhere else but rather more of a BBQ and Cajun cross taste. The wings were nice and crunchy with a good flavor but kind of too sweet for me (I believe it also had brown sugar in the rub). My husband got their chicken pineapple fried rice and I was able to sample some- the chicken breast pieces were a bit dry and bland, the rice was just too wet with sauce and it’s way too sweet with brown sugar. We’ve had authentic Thai food from Houston and Thailand, the Thai food served here did not do a good job representing. I’d say it’s not a terrible place to eat at but my one visit here enough for me to say I don’t need to return to this place for Thai food.

Food is always amazing! I love the coconut based soup and the fresh spring rolls. When going out to eat I love having something made that is fresh and I feel like I’m getting a healthy meal. I’m addicted to the peanut sauce served with the spring rolls as well. The staff is always appreciative and kind.

I recently had the Thai Basil Noodles with Shrimp, and it was nothing short of amazing! The dish was bursting with flavor—the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a touch of heat from the fresh basil and chili. The shrimp were plump, juicy, and cooked to perfection, pairing beautifully with the chewy noodles that soaked up all that bold, aromatic sauce. One standout detail? The food arrived piping hot, which made the experience even better. You could tell it was made fresh and served right away—no sogginess or compromise in texture. Every bite had that just-cooked feel, with crisp veggies and tender shrimp bringing it all together. Definitely a must-try for Thai food lovers or anyone looking to spice up their usual noodle order!

I had a wonderful experience at Arroy! We came to celebrate a work anniversary, and I enjoyed the slightly upscale feeling of the restraint and the light through the windows. We first ordered a couple of their featured cocktails, mine was a blackberry drink that tasted amazing, and was sweet and tart in just the right way. After that, we ordered an order of the Thai spring rolls, which were an amazing contrast of crisp greens and carrot to the gummy and chewy wrapper, paired with an incredibly savory peanut sauce. I didn't even get pictures, they disappeared so fast! My entree was the Bendana's Pancit, at a level 4 in spice. It was wonderfully spicy and tangy, with cabbage and garlic being the best notes, and served with lemon wedges to squeeze over the top which really made the dish. I had it with the tofu, which was well marinated and prepared. This place does spice the right way, with complimentary flavors instead of just pure burn, and the service was smiling and friendly. They even invited my spouse and I to an event the following night, which we couldn't attend, but really appreciated the gesture. Thank you to all the Arroy staff, and I'll happily eat here again soon!

DO NOT hesitate to eat at Arroy!! The staff answered all my questions and our party had multiple levels of spice tolerance and they made our food perfect!!!! The pork bites are a must and the Yellow Curry Catfish is perfection. I will be back cause now I have to try everything!

Restaurant
The White Horse Restaurant & Bar is a charming American eatery that offers a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for enjoying hearty burgers, sandwiches, and other satisfying dishes. Established in 2008 by Brian Lee as an alternative to the numerous chain restaurants in the area, it pays homage to a historic downtown bar. This contemporary venue features an all-scratch kitchen and has become a beloved gathering spot for both students and faculty from St. Cloud State University.
WOW!!!! Excellent choice for something freaky. I loved that everything was fresh and from the area. We decided to order from the seasonal offering and we were not disappointed! Love the chefs creations, which made it a challenge to decide on what to order. Our waitress was fantastic! She explained what the chef was trying to achieve with each dish we were interested in. We will be going back next time we're in the area. If you're a local, this has to be on the top of your list!

We decided to try The White Horse at the last minute, and it ended up being a fantastic choice! Our waitress, Kayla, was absolutely amazing – friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The food was incredible. We had the Thai Green Curry Pasta and the chicken wings, and both were delicious. I’ve been coming up to St. Cloud for conventions for years, and I’m honestly wondering why this was my first time here. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Stellar dinner in St. Cloud, we were immediately greeted and seated. NOT wheelchair accessible but accommodating. The portions are quite large so definitely take a box, you don't want to leave any of the delicious food. 5/5 🌟

No wait. Food was delicious! Loved that they put a twist on traditional/standard items to stand out from other places. Wait staff was awesome! Definitely one of the top 10 places I've been to service-wise. Will defibrillator go back next time we're in that area.

This place is called Sea food Boil . Food was very good if you like it a little hot. We had the crab and shrimp boil, it came with potatoes and small corn on the cob. Plenty of shrimp and crab. My brother And I shared it for dinner and we had plenty, it said for 1 or 2 . Food was very good.

I stopped in for a quick dinner before a show downtown. The menu had some tempting options, but I went with a classic cheeseburger and tater tots. The burger was excellent—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. The tots, however, were a major letdown. They were so oversalted and overseasoned I couldn’t get through more than two. My tab for the burger, a side of ranch, two Coors Lights (one discounted for happy hour), and a 20% tip came to $33. For that price, I expected more. The atmosphere felt like an old dive bar that hasn’t put much thought into creating an experience, and the food didn’t measure up to what they’re charging. On the upside, the staff was outstanding. I was greeted right away, and the bartender delivered excellent service, which is why I still left a generous tip. This place has potential, but until the food and atmosphere rise to match the prices, I’d call it a one-and-done stop.

In the big picture, they get 4 stars. For St Cloud, they should get 5 stars. After being disappointed at many locations in St Cloud, these guys were a refreshing retreat. The area doesn't have much on the "high end" to offer, but here, the food was good. Good quality and good portions. They have a large beer selection. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Jimmy John's is a fast-casual restaurant chain that specializes in sub and club sandwiches, along with their signature potato chips. This counter-serve establishment efficiently manages large crowds, ensuring prompt service. The sandwiches are prepared swiftly without compromising on quality or taste. Visitors can expect quick and efficient service throughout the day, making it a convenient option for multiple meals. Customers who have previously dined at other sandwich shops were pleasantly surprised by the superior quality of Jimmy John's offerings.
Great staff, great service, everything has always been good here, food is fresh employees are great. The only thing I would have a recommendation for is the side room with the sunlight in it to be open. Never have had this good of service at a sandwich place before !!!!!

Every time I order anything from this location, they're missing at least one item. Last time it was a pickle. This time its both bags of chips. Normally wouldn't bother me, but when its ripping me off over almost $5 worth of food, I need to complain. They give you no way of disputing the order online, so have fun playing order roulette.

I ordered a little John veggie. No guacamole. I drove away and opened the sandwich and much to my dismay I found guacamole. 🤮I don’t order the guacamole because I think it tastes artificial. Even though got my sandwich order wrong the service was great. I would order there again but I will make sure there is no guacamole BEFORE I leave. Also we found a small piece of extra bacon on a sandwich that didn’t have bacon. Nice bonus

Terrible Management & Service… I requested extra cheese and easy on the meat, but got no cheese. They sent out a replacement and I had the same issue. I finally just sliced my own cheddar at home and added that. The manager was absurd and argued with me stating there was cheese on both of them… I looked and looked for that cheese and I promise it was not there unless it somehow disintegrated into my sandwich. Did not request a third sandwich as I knew it would have spit on it based on how truly unprofessional that manager was.

If you're on the hunt for a satisfying meal in the heart of the city, look no further than New York Gyro. This gem serves up an enticing array of Middle Eastern delights, from savory shawarma and crispy falafel to mouthwatering kababs. The best part? You can indulge in these flavorful dishes within minutes of placing your order! With a menu that caters to both lunch and dinner cravings, plus a tempting dessert selection, there's something for everyone.
I had an amazing experience at New York Gyro. The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Their gyro platter was outstanding, with tender, juicy meat and the perfect blend of spices.I like chicken rice and samosa chat. The service was very good. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and quick making sure everything was just right. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere, making it a comfortable place.

Overnight stay and hotel clerk recommended NYG. It’s a fair trek & sits back off the corner. 2 menus- 1 has trad burger deep fried foods, 2nd Med style including Falafel etc. Tzatziki sauce w/ lamb and rice to go. First the taste. Sauce weak to bland. Lamb excellent. Rice could use help & rest were all veggies. Meat shown was what experienced in Euro yet what received was noticeably smaller and ground up burger not cubes. Baklava very good. In end mediocre with great potential & too many workers who could do more to improve yet do not/will not. Complacency will be the eventual undoing. Try it bc it’s better than fast food just carefully order to your taste. Sit down or order out

LOVE the food! Great variety and HUGE portions! Come here if your really hungry! If your not that hungry, they still have small portion snacks or get it take out too if full! American food is served here, so if you have friends looking for a place to eat that don't like this type of food. They will enjoy the large portions of American food variety!

Food is very flavored with the Brand amount of spice. The gentleman that are there every time I go are very kind and sweet. Prices are well. Every time I'm in the same cloud area I stop there
Jabru — Google review
What they are serving is not traditional lamb gyro meat. I did not see them cut it or anything like you would normally see in a shop that serves gyros. They dug some mystery meat out of a container. It looked nothing like lamb gyro meat. The sauce was not traditional tzatziki sauce that is served with gyros. Idk what it was but it tasted nothing like it should. It was weird. The pita was weird too! Like what was that?!?! It tasted old and it wasn't warmed up or toasted or anything. Overall the place was not clean. I dont travel to St Cloud often, but it looks like the city does not inspect their restaurants often or their standards are far lower than the Twin Cities. I spent close to $40 and I had to throw the food away. Horrible, over priced food. Dont waste your time or money.

Great service, fun atmosphere, I got a lamb gyro 7.99 so reasonably priced. Good size portions, good flavor, but not the flavor of a gyro I was looking for, still good just not what I was expecting.

Bistro
Jules Bistro, located in Downtown St. Cloud, is a charming spot that transforms from a coffee cafe during the day to a wine bar at night. The bistro offers a menu featuring delicious sandwiches, salads, and pizza made with locally sourced ingredients at affordable prices. The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by the display of local artists' works and tabletops adorned with old postcards and drawings.
Stopped in on Saturday for some lunch! It was my second time here. First time was great and I had the Tuna Melt. This past Saturday I had the Grilled Turkey Pesto Sandwich, add avocado! So so good! It was steady with customers but we were sat, greeted and received our food within a great time frame. We enjoyed some great cheesecake too! Definitely will return again and again!

A few years ago, my husband and I discovered we had some food allergies. Once we changed our diet, our lives improved greatly, except we could never really go out for dinner. We both had different allergies and it was really difficult to find places to dine. Then we heard about Julie’s Bistro and everything changed. We randomly dropped in thinking we’d go over the menu and take some to-go stuff, but they recommended that we sit down and order all proper-like.  We explained our sensitivities and they created a meal unlike any we’ve had. It was so good and fresh and made just for us! Our waitress was fantastic. She was so caring and understanding and explained how everything worked, that everything was made from scratch and that we can have it how we need it to safely eat our meal. The manager came out a couple times to verify our list of sensitivities and was always so polite and concerned. We felt valued and understood. There was no judgement. Our food was so good!! We’ll definitely be coming back (even though we’re an hour away). Next time, we’ll make their lives easier and let them know before we come so they are prepared with our list of sensitivities. Reservations and such are definitely a good idea if you have a lot of sensitivities and allergies

The atmosphere of Jules' Bistro is tasteful and comforting. The art placed around the establishment is a testimony to their support of local artists. It is very clean, the staff is friendly and relatable, and the service is top tier. The menu is abundant, which can be overwhelming, but there is something for everyone! I could tell that the food was passionately made from scratch. Absolutely no complaints. I will be returning again and again!

First time at Jules Bistro and we might now be weekend regulars. The team was great, friendly, attentive and fast. The Lavender Honey Latte is absolutely amazing ☕ Wife, being from Kentucky, loves to try Biscuits and Gravy anywhere we go and she Loved them at the Bistro! A little savory herbal mix and a fantastic texture although she said It could use a little more sausage in the gravy (with a smirk) but it was a 5⭐ edition. The Monte Cristo French Toast sandwich is a great way to start the day! It's tasty but once you add a dollop of that jam to your bite... Forget About It 🤤 You will not regret trying out Jules Bistro, we can't wait to come back for breakfast again and to try out the Lunch Menu.

In addition to being one of our favorite brunch spots, Jules’ Bistro also provided bar service for our October 2024 wedding at the River’s Edge Convention Center. From the very beginning, the process was smooth and collaborative. The staff were friendly, professional, and easy to work with, and the flexible contract options made planning simple, even as our guest list and needs shifted during the process. On the day of our wedding, the bartenders were fantastic—attentive, welcoming, and quick to serve our guests. Everything felt effortless, which allowed us to fully enjoy our celebration knowing the bar service was in great hands. We’re so grateful to Jules’ Bistro for bringing the same warmth and quality we love from their brunch into our wedding day!

Let me begin by saying that this was a life altering experience. We were unsure of where to go for breakfast, and THANK GOD we chose to come to Jules Bistro. We luckily ordered the steak and egg sandwich on a whim… thinking we wanted one savory item and one sweet item. Now when I tell you that this steak and egg sandwich was the most mouth watering, jaw dropping, beautifully made breakfast sandwich I have ever had in my life, I am not exaggerating. Make sure you load that puppy up with the sauce they give you, because that ish is insane. Upon first bite, prepare to be taken out of your body, and to perhaps forget where you are for a moment. I would almost encourage ordering a second sandwich if you truly an eater. I am truly left speechless in this seat. The best breakfast sandwich ever. We even had to personally thank the chef, but make sure you go before 11, because that’s when the sandwich says goodbye for the day.

I frequented Jules when I lived in St Cloud and have always loved their food and drinks. When we were looking for a caterer for our wedding they were recommended by our venue. After seeing prices and how many delicious sounding vegan/GF options they had, they quickly became our top choice. Angie, the catering coordinator was organized, communicative, and very helpful throughout the whole process. We have only good things to say about the food and service from start to finish. They also packed our leftovers up and we are excited to enjoy the food for a few more days! Our guests LOVED the cakes and cheesecakes as well, an excellent option if you’re looking for a slightly less than traditional wedding cake buffet.

Wife and I have been coming here weekly since we were dating for a quick bite to eat. This place is a great little hole in the wall, it’s small so not much seating or room inside but we usually get sandwiches to-go anyway. Delicious! GIANT sub + chips + cookie for the same $$$ a certain national sandwich chain bills for their measley "footlong". Do yourself a favor and come here. Maybe Bo Diddley's should get the Walmart gig instead. Yum! And it's local! Friendly kids working. The bread is flavorful and perfectly chewy without breaking one's jaw. I'm usually rather leery of ham but they have delicious thin pieces here. I will become a regular. Thanks Bo Diddley's for brightening my Wednesday

August 2025: First time here. Ordered the Italian full size sub at $11 (available in half at $6 & 1/3 at $4 as well). Sandwich was made quickly and nicely assembled. The full size is HUGE... definitely two meals. The bread is good but nothing too exciting. The contents was very tasty. Overall its a great value. The night before I spent $40 somewhere else for 2 snobby wraps and this sandwich is just as tasty for $12 (and its plenty for 2 people). Goodbye snobby wrap shop, hello Bo Diddley!

Quick reliable service with a cozy atmosphere and plenty of delicious beers to try. Great for a quick drink in Saint Cloud.

Beaver Island is a nice little brewery in St Cloud. It is in a strip mall but they have a patio and did a good job giving it a woodsy feel. They had 16 of their beers on tap for my stop including a imperial porter, smoked porter, chocolate oatmeal stout, peanut butter oatmeal stout, cherry doppelbock, maibock, oktoberfest, Vienna lager, coffee cream ale, pilsner, blueberry kolsch, kolsch, ipa, west coast IPA, dagger IPA, hazy IPA, session IPA, and they had a bloody beer, 2 hard lemonade, and lemon tea. The doppelbock and Vienna were my favorites (didn't have time to get to the IPAs.) The service was very friendly and music was decent. For food they have pretzels and beef sticks. At least 4.5 stars, I think I will stop back next time I am in town.

This was a great place the waitress was really nice and very timely on checking in. The atmosphere was really nice and there was a live band playing at the time that we went. I enjoyed both pints that I had tried and would recommend them. The bathrooms aren't as evidently posted. There are games in a cabinet near the entrance that are good for all ages!

This brewery knows how to craft amazing beers. I was a little disappointed no food was available. However you are encouraged to grab some food at the Chinese restaurant next door or the pizza place two doors down and bring it with you. Again they know how to brew amazing beers.

Nice place. I am not a big beer drinker so described what I like and don't like and asked for a recommendation for a flight to try. Great selection. Atmosphere is nice. Attended the Grey Face Dog Rescue Chili Contest fundraiser and it was a fun night.

Pioneer Place On Fifth is a historic performing arts venue that has been hosting plays and concerts since 1998. It offers a diverse range of musical performances, from indie solo artists to larger regional acts like The Fabulous Armadillos. Visitors can enjoy signature craft cocktails at the renowned Veranda Lounge music bar, which boasts an impressive selection of aged spirits. The venue's intimate atmosphere and rich history make it a popular spot for live events.
We had tickets for the second row, but they were cafe chairs. The larger, more comfy chairs were in the back. So we asked if we could change seats and they were most accommodating!! And the venue was great for a music concert!

Hitchville was playing, and they were doing their tribute to Shania Twain and Garth Brooks, and they both sounded absolutely incredible, this might be crazy but they sounded better than the original singers. The whole band was amazing! they know what they're doing! I will definitely be back they're there!

Great little venue to see a performance. I was fortunate enough to get to be a part of the last performance, by the Fabulous Armadillos no less, before the remodel and another afterwards.

Clemens Gardens is a stunning 14-acre garden located along the Mississippi River in St. Cloud, MN. Established in the 1930s as part of the Works Progress Administration, it comprises Munsinger Gardens and Clemens Gardens. The latter features over 70 varieties of roses in its Virginia Clemens Rose Garden and a Perennial Garden with a replica of a pre-Civil War fountain.
This garden is delightful to stroll along or lounge on the grass. Two levels of gardens. Parking spots all along the roads around the gardens. Brick red and dirt paths throughout the gardens and river side. Lots of fountains - some functioning, others not. Beautiful figure statues. Unfortunately this time of spring flowers are lacking.
Allana M — Google review
This is a stunning and thoughtfully laid out public garden! The rose garden was so fragrant. Each bush was labeled and made me appreciate the uniqueness of each variety. The water fountains are majestic and create a serene calm over the whole place. There are plenty of benches to sit and the grass is lush and soft to walk on. There are walking paths down to see Munsinger but they are not handicapped accessible. The trees create the perfect amount of shade. I truly enjoyed my time here.
Beth H — Google review
We highly encourage everyone to experience the stunning beauty and profound history of the Clemens Gardens. While the adjacent Munsinger Gardens offers natural, winding paths, the Clemens Gardens (developed mostly in the 1990s) provides a breathtakingly formal, European-style experience that stands as a testament to the remarkable generosity and love story of William and Virginia Clemens. The origins of this beautiful seven-acre space are rooted in Bill Clemens' devotion to his wife, Virginia. Virginia, who suffered from multiple sclerosis, was confined to their home overlooking the river. Because she loved roses and formal gardens but could no longer travel, Bill purchased the land across the street, donated it to the city, and funded the development of the Virginia Clemens Rose Garden in her honor. She was able to enjoy the beautiful view from her window until she passed in 1998. This initial act of love led the Clemens family to donate more, allowing for the creation of the additional formal gardens, including the Rest Area Garden, White Garden, and the iconic Treillage Garden. They also established an endowment to ensure the gardens' long-term maintenance, creating a lasting legacy for the entire community. A beautiful bronze statue of Bill and Virginia strolling through the grounds commemorates their monumental gift. Today, visitors are treated to an immaculate display featuring thousands of annuals and perennials, elaborate fountains, and detailed ironwork. It is a stunning, tranquil place to spend an afternoon. Whether you are admiring the nearly 1,100 roses in the Virginia Clemens Rose Garden or finding peace in the soothing White Garden, you are walking through a true act of civic love.

Beautiful gardens including upper and lower areas, from cacti to native prairie plants. Gorgeous landscaping and refreshing fountains. Paved walking paths. Free 90 min parking near the gardens, but there is also unlimited parking in a parking lot and on the street. Scenic walk along the river that connects to Riverside Park.

Right on the next level in walking distance above Munsinger Gardens rest this beautiful walkway full of the most precious and prettiest flowers and fountains I have seen in MN. I love coming here, and today was my first time walking the entire garden. I got to the rose garden this time because the weather was great. If you ever ride past St. Cloud or visiting this is a MUST SEE in person.

Outdoor spot with a huge water slide & bumper boats, plus go karts, mini golf, batting cages & more.
I took my grandkids for wristband day, and they absolutely loved it. I also enjoyed myself. There was a nice variety of things for the whole family to do. I like that there are things for all ages. There were bumper boats and even go carts that the 4 year were able to drive, so he didn't always have to ride with me. Great time will be going again next month.

We had a great time at Summerland last Saturday July 23. The only things open we're the go karts, mini golf and batting cages due to the weather but it was still a lot of fun. It's a little expensive but well worth it. The employees we dealt with were very nice and helpful we played mini golf on the Bear Country course and had players from 12 to 39 and we all enjoyed it.

FUN for the WHOLE family! Bring out your inner kid and zip around on go carts, beat the competition in mini golf, fly down the water slide, whatever you do - it will be fun!

Go carts were a blast. Everyone had a great experience. Staff/owners were very friendly. We are definitely going back.

I’ve been here 3 times with my family over the last 3 summers. It’s a small park, which is nice because you can do it all in a few hours, for not a ton of money. Also, there are no lines and no crowds on weekdays, which is huge. You practically have the place to yourself. There will be other people, but not a lot. The water slide is the best part. It’s not the biggest, but it is FAST, the ride down is intense. I’m no youngster, but even I think it’s fun. The staff is friendly, although they look bored, no different than any other water park I’ve even been to. The mini golf is good. I wish the cups were deeper, because the ball will literally bounce right back out of the hole sometimes, which is frustrating. But other than that, it’s good. Bumper boats were up and running for the first time since I’ve been there, which was nice, we tried them out and enjoyed it. The go-carts are decent and fairly young kids can drive their own, or ride along, which is nice. The tracks are fine, but it seems like you don’t get a lot of time to drive. They do have good deals to save you money, such as you can ride the waterslide unlimited for $10 from 3pm - 5pm, among other deals. All in all I recommend. It’s a fun place, and if you can’t have fun here, I guarantee your kids can.
Scott — Google review
Fun! I like mini golfing. They have two courses, we went to Bear Kountry. The other one looked pretty cool, probably more for adults and older kids. Definitely want to go back and try it out. Bring your own sunscreen! $15/bottle
Victor V — Google review
It was...ok. Batting cages featuring baseballs that were pitched at ankle level. Be advised that people can and will reserve batting cages for up to an hour, so don't expect to simply wait for the party in "front" of you to finish. Children from a local summer program were allowed to run wild without proper supervision, including through the mini golf courses that we paid to use. The facility should have better policies for large groups. Overall, it was a $40 I wish I hadn't spent. The only reason I am not rating the place lower is that it could be a fun place if there was better oversight of the facility.

Chinese restaurant
Great Dragon Buffet is a bustling eatery that offers a wide selection of traditional Chinese dishes in a cozy setting. The food and service are generally commendable, with flavors that are delicious and satisfying. Occasionally, the cook may be heavy-handed with cinnamon in all the recipes. This restaurant used to be frequented by the person's girlfriend when they lived in St. Cloud, where they could enjoy two buffets along with drinks for just $27, which is quite reasonable these days.
The Great Dragon Buffet in downtown St. Cloud is a hidden gem! The buffet is not only clean and well-maintained, but it's also incredibly affordable. The variety of delicious Chinese dishes makes every visit a treat. What truly stood out, though, was the amazing hostess—her warmth and welcoming attitude really made the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a fantastic, casual meal with a side of excellent service, this place is a must-visit!
Aditi D — Google review
The food wasn't bad but it wasn’t fresh like most places would be. The restaurant was clean and quiet but it was kind of awkward just to eat with my husband and son. I’m not the type of person to waste food but this time I did because I found a piece of hair in my food and it wasn’t MINE. I know what my hair looks like and the hair I found definitely wasn’t mine. Maybe I’ll try the food again since it was my first time being here so I’ll give it a second chance but if I find food in my hair again then I’m not coming here again.

The food and desserts were delicious,it blew my mind! The Service was honestly better than most restaurants I've been to. Atmosphere was great, the people were a bit loud, but what do you expect.

I do not recommend this establishment. I should have left when they had me paying at the door! They removed desserts 40 minutes before close with eating customers inside. Food was barely filled in the trays and tasted pretty mediocre. Customer was begging for more egg rolls to be put out and they said there were none 30 mins to close. They didn’t put out enough for 3 tables of customers. Their service was horrible. Everyone in the restaurant was getting their drinks refilled besides me until the very end. What was suppose to be a fun outing with my daughter ended up sour because this establishment didn’t meet my bare minimum expectations. I do not recommend this place, there are plenty of better buffets in town!

me and my friend have been going to this location for years— it has always been a wonderful experience, nice staff, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. but something about it today was not right AT ALL. we got to-go, and we ordered what we normally do, the crab wontons, egg rolls, vegetable lo mein, general tso chicken, and a few other things. we enjoyed our first box of the wontons mixed with the sugar donuts, and then we opened the second one and filled our plates, we already were weary about it because they substituted the lo mein noodles for fettuccine and it didn’t look the greatest but we wanted to try. i had rice and general tso and it tasted great— but my friend bit into her egg roll and immediately knew something was wrong with it, she had to spit it out and actually ended up throwing up. as she got up to puke i opened up the second egg roll and it did not look like it should’ve, the meat was red looking and it did not smell good at all, like it had some sort of stench, and after my friend was able to compose herself she explained that it tasted absolutely rancid. the rest of the food was pretty bland except for the wontons, broccoli, general tso chicken, and the sauces. for the first time in YEARS this is the first time we’ve had a terrible experience with them, and it’s crazy because just a few weeks ago we went there and it was great! and the noodles were actually lo mein noodles. this experience was enough to make us not really want to come back, and if we do it won’t be for a long while

I had the Greek Philly Gyro - I've in my fifties and I can honestly say it's the best Gyro I've ever had. The meet was so tender and flavorful. The serving size was beyond what I expected. Hadn’t been here for a while and after eating the humongous gyro which was overflowing with vegetables and Tzatziki sauce, I will add Greek Cravings to my restaurant rotation. The lamb was cut from the spit and was seasoned to perfection. Lots of salads, plates and vegetarian options too.

Thai restaurant
Sawatdee Thai Restaurant St.Cloud is a well-established local chain that offers a diverse selection of authentic Thai dishes. Some branches even provide lunch buffets. The cuisine provided is outstanding, with perfectly seasoned meals that are prepared by the friendly and courteous hostess and chef. One customer highly recommends their Pad Thai with pork, which was exceptionally delicious. They also appreciate the heat rating system, usually opting for a moderate level to enhance flavor without overwhelming spiciness.
The staff are friendly. The store is quite clean. Lots of seats of the restaurant. Meanwhile they don’t have pho anymore. All the pho in St Cloud are too sweet. The authentic pho won’t have calories that much from the sugar in the soup. The Tum Yum Soup is just fine, best thing is they have tofu. No bad thing for the restaurant and all they people are kind. I have to give full stars. The food is not awe full but also not attractive.
Moqu L — Google review
If you want to try authentic Thai food, this place is fantastic! The beef curry was amazing which definitely tasted homemade to me. The chicken laab was good however, I did notice that there were a bunch of onions in there was wasn't expected, I would have preferred just a bit more meat. The papaya salad was mediocre however, didn't have every much going on for me so I didn't care too much for it. The pad Thai was more of a sweeter dish than other pad Thai's that I've tried which I actually really enjoyed. The fried rice was great especially throwing curry on top of it. Our server was friendly however, our entire time there, even though it wasn't very busy, we had only gotten our drinks refilled once which was not very pleasing as the food did have a good kick to is as well as having good portions of salt causing thirst. Overall, the experience was above average and I definitely will go again if I'm in the mood for Thai food!
Xong X — Google review
Not a bad place. We were seated right away once we entered. The first dish I ordered was the Panaeng beef curry. I ordered with the spiciest they could make it. The green peppers were the main spice but sadly they only add chili powder that is not spicy at all. So I would say this is American level spicy which is spicy like red pepper flakes. Second I ordered the pad Thai with beef. The portion is great but sadly the protein portion is not that great. There were like 5 thin pieces of beef in there. I wish they could give more beef because noodles & Co gives the same portion with a whole top layer of the bowl of protein for the same price. I like that it was very saucy though. Sadly for a Thai restaurant, the food is catered towards the American community. So do not expect anything to actually be spicy. Overall, great staff and food. I would definitely go for a few more visits to try the rest of the menu.

It can take a while to get your food, so make sure you visit when you have time to spare. They offer vegetarian options. You can choose the level of spice as they have a scale of 1 to 5. Order a 4 or 5 if you want a kick!
Nadia C — Google review
Great food and perfectly seasoned dishes. Both the hostess and chef are polite and have warming personalities. I ordered the Pad Thai with pork and it was very very good. For the heat rating I usually get 3 out of 5. Which is typically just enough heat to give you more flavor with out it being to over whelming that lead to bites of food between sips of milk.

I wonder when they will fix the intercom in the drive through, its hard to hear them, they have trouble hearing the order. I ordered 2 mediums, 1 came small. This place usually hits but this time soemthing was so off about the ice cream. It was kinda runny and a little lumpy. I got the new Pumpkin Pie one, I could have drank it. It was gross!! Really fun to go to a Rox game. The food is typical ballpark food, including nachos, hot dogs, ice cream, pretzels, cheese curds and many more delicious items. The game was really fun and the entertainment between innings was also fun and brought an extra thing to the game.

If you are a Rox fan or not, their fan experience is great. $12 General Admission beats the trek and cost to go see MLB games, and I feel like you see more hits. The players are elite college players in this summer league ( Northwoods League). Many players get drafted by the end of the season. 2024 saw a Rox player go 3rd overall in the MLB draft! Great hometown ball vibe, and the players are great at interacting with the fans when they aren't playing. There is plenty of grassy area past the gates to throw around a baseball. An inflatable bouncy house and pitching backstop with targets makes it easier to keep little ones engaged and busy the whole game. The staff are awesome esp. David the Event MC/coordinator, they keep the crowd engaged even when the team is losing which hasn't happened a lot the past few years!! GO ROX

Interesting little museum covering local history of Pan automobiles, World War II, the Vietnam War, the 70s, and quite a few local animals. Don't expect something like MOMA, but if you want to learn about St. Cloud from locals in an interesting way then definitely check it out.

7/3/2025: I didn't really visit, but I am aware of what they do and fully support the idea that we should remember the history, not just of our own county, but our country. Many of our ancestors have toiled and sweated, and bled so we have been free of tyranny. May we learn of and remember their sacrifice and emulate their dedication to freedom. We rejected perpetual Presidents in the Constitution as we rejected being under king George. A government "of, by, and for the people." Vote like your freedom depends on it—it does!

If you want to see the history of Stearns county this is the place to be. From pantown cars to mining history they have some amazing exhibits. I went as a kid a lot and still like to go every few years or when friends/family visit as it's a unique local place to go. Would be a fun first date place if you're into history.

St. Cloud is lucky to have this gem of a museum! There is something new every time you go, they do a great job of creating new exhibits and keeping history interesting! There is a lot of green space outside where you can picnic as well.

Love Kinder! My go-to is a lavender London Fog 🤤, but we also get their beans to brew at home. So good! My personal fav is Wobegon Medium. The staff is friendly and positive. The coffee shop has an awesome atmosphere. Very bright, with lots of windows and plants. A great spot for working solo, as well as some booths to meet with others. Highly recommend!

Stellar coffee. My husband and I are out of town and decided to stop in. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The barista was kind and efficient with our order. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with whole milk and my husband ordered the iced salted maple latte. Both were delicious. We also ordered the bagel sandwich and the burrito which were also very good. Thank you!

Kinder is the perfect name - the staff is uniquely friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our breakfast. Had a chance to talk with one of the owners and she was the kind of genuine you only experience at a local place. Great to see people passionate about their work. Had the St. Germain Dark Roast - amazing. Got some beans to take home too. Great location: easy access and ample parking. Particularly convenient for those of us who like taking 3rd Street.

Kinder is one of my main go-to coffee places in town. I absolutely love their coldbrew plain and they are the first place I've come across that I actually like it at all :). I switch between several drinks, whether it be iced, hot, or blended. I love their GF baked goods. The barista's are great and I've gotten better acquainted with some of them over time which makes the experience there that much better. I can't say enough awesome things about this place. I hope they continue to thrive and expand the Kinder Coffee love 😊❤️.

Boulder Tap House is a relaxed sports bar and eatery known for its diverse menu that includes burgers, wings, tacos, and more. They offer over 40 beers on tap, including local and regional craft options. With a dining room filled with TVs, it's a great place to catch all the latest games and matches. The restaurant prides itself on catering to different dietary needs, including offering gluten-free options and having the necessary knowledge and supplies to serve those with gluten allergies.
I don't know where to start except that I had a wonderful experience. I can't say enough good things about the service here. It has been the best I have found so far in St. Cloud. The food was delicious. I had one of the tastest burgers in my life and opened my eyes to something different and amazing. I love the build your own burgers 🍔 😋 Definitely a great dinner with excellent service. 👏

I was disappointed in this Boulder Tap House Location. I’ve been to multiple locations and always loved their food, especially the cheese curds. I ordered these right away with our drinks and they came out only a couple minutes before the rest of our food. The cheese curds appeared to have been forgotten about and were burnt and had thicken cheese on the inside, not the usual melty cheese that they have. The burgers were also burnt as well. It could have just been a bad day, but definitely a disappointing experience here.
Katy W — Google review
4 stars. My wife and I stopped at Boulder Tap House in St. Cloud looking for a quality burger, and it didn’t disappoint. We appreciated that they offer a gluten-free bun option, which is great for those with dietary needs. The weather was nice, so we enjoyed dining outside on their patio—clean and comfortable, though still being fully set up for the season. Service was fast and friendly. We started with cheese curds, which come in three cheese options, though one wasn’t available. The deep-fried cheese cubes were unique but didn’t quite match the flavor of traditional curds. Our burgers were good, and the sweet potato fries were especially tasty. Prices are slightly above average, but the creative menu makes it worthwhile. I like that this place takes risks with its food—it’s not always a home run, but it keeps things interesting. We’ll definitely be back.
Jason B — Google review
Place is run down looking for how nice it looks outside. Appetizers were good but the rest was not. Over sauced wings, sauces were not as listed. Burger was dry, chicken tenders and fries were fried so long they burnt. Had to have waitress take items i didn't order and she had an attitude and tried making excuses. Used to love this place but apparently good help is hard to find.
Fred J — Google review
Let's get right into it. I got the crispy chicken wrap with fries. The fries were very well seasoned and crispy but were a little bit cold. The wrap was good. Not great, good. It IS mother's day but the food took a while to come out. The music in the back wasn't great. Good food, bad environment.
Elijah R — Google review
One of the best places in town for Burgers! But also has many other options like the Philly or the lettuce wrap or pork tacos!
Zach L — Google review
I love BTH! The staff is always so great, especially Shane B. He’s exceptional! He’s funny, witty, and knows a ton about music/bands. I always ask for him personally when I visit Boulder. If you’re looking for top-notch service, waiters with faded Mohawks, and yummy sweet potato fries, Boulder Tap House is where it’s at!

Worst bar I have ever been to. No exaggeration, this is the worst bar experience I have ever had. Wife and I stopped in for a quick drink and bite before a concert. There were 2 bartenders working and maybe 6 customers at the bar. One bartender was chatting with a group of 4 at the corner who she may have known and making cocktails for just them. We sat down and were not greeted by anyone for at least 7-10 minutes. Not the biggest deal, but we did not have menus the whole time and the tap list is not visible anywhere. A couple sat down directly next to us a few minutes after we sat down. When the bartender finally came over and greeted us, the couple next to us ordered one drink and got one of those tablets to gamble on. They came in to eat and knew exactly what they wanted, they said. The bartender did not check back with either of us for nearly 15 full minutes. By this time, the couple lost their money on the e-gaming thing and were done with their drink. The couple's wife told the husband to get the bill and not to tip. She walked out. We ordered a whiskey neat (terrible tap list) and some cheese curds. The bartender serving us asked the other bartender working how to make my drink. The cheese curds came before I got my whiskey poured into a glass. Cheese curds were super greasy and tasted bad. Not real cheese curds, just cubes of low-quality cheese, deep-fried. We had no napkins/roll-ups and no bar napkins anywhere on the bar either. So we're stuck wiping our hands on the greasy wax paper. The bartender left the bar to chat with the host, then they both went into the back for about 10 minutes. The manager was hanging out by the service well, doing literally nothing. They didn't check on guests, staff, make or run drinks or food. Overall, we were there about 40 minutes to order one drink, one app, and wait on the check to arrive. 3 visits from the bartender over those 40 minutes. We will never be back. (Note: I have worked in bars/food service full-time for over 10 years so I am very tolerant for slow/bad service.)

Mexican restaurant
Giliberto's Mexican Taco Shop is a casual eatery located in a strip mall, offering a variety of classic Mexican dishes and beverages. Customers praise the restaurant for its authentic flavors and generous portion sizes. The menu features favorites such as tacos, burritos, chimichangas, churros, and fried ice cream. Diners appreciate the homemade quality of items like chips, taco shells, and tortillas. The establishment is known for its extensive drink selection and diverse hot sauce options.
Being Phoenix born and raised this place is a true taste of home. I grew up eating at Filabertos regularly and this has the same DNA. When I order a carne asada burrito I don't want it full of filler, rice and beans, I want a steak burrito full of steak. If you want a hefty burrito that ain't full of fillers this is the spot to hit up! Did I mention they are open 24 hours!

I have been to Giliberto’s multiple times and the food is always good. This time I ordered the street corn, one shrimp taco, and two quesabirria tacos. I assumed the quesabirria tacos would come with the dipping sauce like the picture but it did not. All was delicious.

The food is excellent! It's so good I have ordered, a shredded beef burrito, weekly since spring. Their sauces are great! Their red sauce is literally 🔥 as it's that hot! The green is milder and equally as good! The most impressive thing is their customer is top notch! I ordered a similar burrito from Chipotle, online for 45mins later, and still didn't have my Barbacoa ready for another 20mins. These guys will have it ready in under 5mins.

Anton's Restaurant is a family-owned steakhouse nestled in a riverfront log cabin, offering a sizable scotch selection and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The menu features delectable dishes like the Tres Shrimp with stuffed shrimp, jumbo broiled shrimp, and shrimp linguine. Additionally, they serve high-quality steaks, seafood, award-winning ribs, and enormous popovers.
Anton's famous popovers are AMAZING and they are served with a honey butter that puts them over the top! Everything on their menu is tasty and done with care and detail. The drinks are always on point too, grab one and walk around their beautiful grounds, and you'll be transported to a different time with their wagon wheel decor, the flowing Mississippi river and the ducks and geese. When dining inside, the geese like to come right up to the window and say hello! Anton's is truly a delicious and unique experience.

I was told that the lobster mac n cheese is one of the popular dishes. Was disappointed, pasta wasn’t bad but wasn’t great, for 29$ you get mostly pasta and like small shreds of lobster that you had to dig around to even see any and the texture felt like imitation crab. The three little pigs thou was good flavour and good portion for 23$. The sausage was honestly the best, the ribs fall off the bone, and the pork chop was good. Avoid the lobster mac and go for this bad boy.

Our favorite place to celebrate birthdays-- Margaret was our waitress and she was fabulous-- she took great care of us! We LOVE Anton's!
Joyce M — Google review
I had a very mixed experience here. I grew up going to Anton's. However, as I have grown up, and traveled, and been to many more places, Anton's doesn't stack up. But, for St Cloud, they still are good. We had reservations, we chose to sit outside. Beware, if you sit outside, there are pesty geese and there is a slight smell too. However, that did not bother me at all. I enjoyed interacting with the feathery beggars. But not all will enjoy it. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came looking like a mini football. It was very rare. They replaced my meal, and I got the Cajun pasta instead and it was yummy! However I confirmed with them that the dish did not have onions... and the description said that it had red peppers, and my dish came out with no red peppers, and I don't know if that was a misunderstanding or just them not following the menu. My husband had the roasted duck, and I tasted it and it was very good. We ordered two desserts... and one was just average and one was really good (the chocolate pie). I always enjoy the popovers at Anton's but recently I've had popovers at other establishments that I like better. My husband ordered a scotch and I took a sip of it and it was a very good scotch. I had to Paloma and it was enjoyable. I probably won't go back as it doesn't meet my expectations for fine dining, but for the area I do think that it is still fine dining.

One of their standout dishes is the award-winning Juicy Lucy, a mouthwatering beefy-cheesy burger available in several different varieties. In addition to this signature dish, the menu features tempting items such as jumbo pretzels, cheese curds, and delectable desserts.
This was our family's first time going here, and we were absolutely shocked at how amazing the food was! My husband and I and our two teenage kids all loved our meals, which doesn't usually happen! Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly, we had fast and very friendly service, we will definitely be going back!

Exceptional atmosphere, food, and reasonably priced drinks. The reason it is not five stars is because of the slower service. The food was so good and perfectly seasoned!

I ordered for delivery; the Saucy Double Cheese Lucy with cheese curds and the boneless bourbon chicken wings. Due to delivery the food was warm and slightly soggy (to be expected) the flavors and preparation however were totally on point. The flavor of the wings were amazing and still crispy with just the right amount of sauce. The Lucy was medium cooked just how I prefer a burger and great flavor with fresh toppings; and the curds although small hit the spot for a side order. I would definitely recommend the Crooked Pint for good eats and preferably in house. Skip the delivery and enjoy the food fresh from the kitchen. 5***** rating from me.

We arrived at the perfect time because there was a line later when we left out the door at this popular place. So we got in right away. Social distancing snd masks were worn by staff. The place was clean and sanitary. The burgers and flat bread pizza was amazing. I had the Tator Tot Hot Dish, served with huge tator tots! This was served uniquely in a skillet. It was good. The service was good and they do have wifi, but you will have to ask for the password. The drinks were good! Come hungry as the portion sizes are large.

Go Huskies. I loved the time I spent at this college. I was lucky to have the random mates become my mentors as they were seniors, and a graduate student or soon to be. The Garvey food buffet excited me the most during my tour after high school, but it took me awhile to get there as I had to earn 24 credits at SCTCC before an automatic transfer so I didn't have to worry about ACT shit. My boss roommate Jeff snagged this memory photo when we crossed paths. Miss them days. Go Huskies!

It is a college campus... take what you want from this review. They have less amenities they raised prices and it does not feel very welcoming for families. They often times do not have the classes needed to graduate on time. Be very Vigilant and stay on top of your courses! The advisors work for the college not for the students.
Colleen O — Google review
I have heard so many other talk about how St. Cloud State screwed them over. My school counseling internship just said they couldn't keep having someone spend time advising me (Princeton High School) and the program was like "well that's too bad" and didn't do anything to support that. I was forced to get a Special studies masters and science then they have not let me come back to take ONE class that I need for my Licensed Practicing Clinical Counseling licensure. So again they said "you can't, cause your not in the program, and you have to jump through all the hoops again even though we are the ones that screwed you over in the first place." So they have screwed me over again. Some of the faculty in the department were god awful (either Mayhew) too, and my adviser was less than helpful (Lepkowski)

I wasn't able to get a tour with St. Cloud State University on the day that we happened to be near them, but I loved seeing the campus and going on the walking trail! The architecture is beautiful and the city life seems so nice! I plan to book a campus tour with them soon, so I can get the full experience!

Don't come to st cloud State University as a personal experience, I'm saying, I'm a transfer student from SCSU. Firstly the food in Garvey is so disgusting and there is so much competition to get a on campus job and living in on campus for and int std is so expensive and for the fall semester std its mandatory to stay on campus till 1 year and when you take transfer they dont refund your insurance if you have paid insurance of one year and take transfer after on semester they keep making some excuse while refunding. The education system is also so bad that the advisor forces you to choose unnecessary subjects that don't even get transfer
Udip B — Google review
The Univeristy is pretty good. The unfortunate part is that they are in St. Cloud, which needs a lot of work to make it safe and traffic system must have been built by Santa becuase there's nothing but red lights. There's plenty to do If you just get out there.
Joseph P — Google review
There's not really much happening on campus. There are all these student organizations on campus they claim, but they’re all inactive or have 1 or 2 people in them at most. They also promote departments as organizations you can join which should have been a clear red flag. The only thing people show up to is bingo otherwise nothings happening but hockey games. If I could go back in time I would go to a different university. I really regret going to this college a lot. If they discontinue your graduate degree while pursuing it they don’t keep the program running until you graduate, they expect you to attend other universities and in order to apply to graduate they expect you to be taking an SCSU class your final semester, even though the graduate degree you were pursuing was discontinued. So I have to take an extra graduate course which is irrelevant to my degree just because they have that rule. I really regret going to this college a lot. I’ve heard so many good things about Mankato and tuition is so similar.
Tanner — Google review
So many negative reviews by individuals not really understanding what college is. St. Cloud is great. Atmosphere, culture, location (river is awesome) and other benefits. A lot of reviewers want post grad degrees handed to them. You're not paying Harvard, MIT tuition. Education is about effort you put into it. If you have complaints about faculty, outcomes and expectations, look inside. Please leave food grades out of it. Irrelevant.

Riverside Park is a large and beautiful park located along the Mississippi River, offering a variety of activities for visitors. The park features lush grass fields, enchanted forested meadows, and mature trees perfect for hanging hammocks. It has amenities such as a children's playground, summer splash pad, reservable picnic building with bathrooms available, and a newly redone disc golf course.
It has parking lot and there is no entrance fees. It has very large playground and picnic shelter. It does not have any walking trail however you can access the power dam. It is good small park with nice view of water dam.

Fun and challenging 18-hole disc golf course in a large city park. Multiple possible basket locations on every hole. Elevation in play. Rollaways possible on some greens. Water not in play, but drop-offs near certain baskets pose a risk. Hard to tell where/how to throw some of the longer holes when the baskets aren't visible from the teepad.
Aaron W — Google review
This course is definitely one of the better ones I've played (Disc Golf Course Review Only). With free parking and bathrooms, it gets a great start right away. The mix of holes is perfect, with some shorter ones that let you dream of aces and some longer ones where a par feels like a victory. I love how it's designed so you don't have to spend your round on a disc safari—it's a course where you can focus on throwing, not hunting. There is plenty of shot shaping required and most of the time, you don’t have to be luckier than a salmon on its way upstream. The course is very pretty and was busy but flowed well. The baskets and signage are good, and while not every tee pad is perfect, they're mostly in great shape. This is the kind of course I'd play all the time if I lived nearby. Simon Lizotte said it was one of his favorite courses, and frankly, who am I to disagree? It's one of the best courses I've played in Minnesota.
Timothy O — Google review
Riverside Park is home to one of the best disc golf courses in the state, featuring 18 holes with diverse elevation changes and challenging designs for players of all skill levels. If you're looking for family fun, the park boasts a popular splash pad (perfect for cooling off in the summer), large playgrounds, and extensive green spaces ideal for picnics. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of the nationally recognized Munsinger and Clemens Gardens. In addition to its recreational features, the park hosts community events and provides rental facilities. The large Riverside Park Pavilion is available for gatherings, and the area includes amenities like tennis and volleyball courts. When winter arrives, the park transforms, offering fantastic groomed sledding hills and trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. With its excellent amenities, vibrant atmosphere, and prime riverfront location (right across from the St. Cloud Dam), Riverside Park is a must-visit destination for both locals and visitors seeking quality outdoor time.

I have loved using this park all my 45 years , so far. They have the best sledding hill in the area. And it's totally free to use. There is also groomed ski trails in the winter. During the summer they have disc golf, playgrounds, and plenty of space to roam. The river is right there for fishing or boating. They have a portage for canoes going around the dam. Plus this park is connected to Clemens Mungsinger and some wildlife areas. A great place to visit.

The water feature is a great place to take kids on a hot summer day. There are picnic tables and grills available for use and lots of large trees to enjoy. The park is home to a very nice Disk ⛳ Golf coarse which is mostly shaded by large mature trees.

Solid little splash pad, good playground equipment. Need to be careful as they use wood chips under the equipment and that can be tough on little feet.

Bar
Blue Goose Speakeasy is a hidden gem located in the basement of the Veranda Lounge in downtown St. Cloud. This secret bar offers a prohibition-era ambiance, taking guests back to the 1920s. To gain access, visitors must discreetly inform the staff upon entering the main building. The speakeasy boasts an impressive selection of creatively crafted drinks, including one made with the unique Buzz Button flower.
The food here is incredible! The drinks are made with great attention to detail and delicious taste. The bartenders are very skilled and knowledgeable. The historic venue really adds to the ambience. The Blue Goose is a St. Cloud hidden gem!

Great selection of cocktails, the nachos are excellent. Personally I love espresso martinis and Moscow Mules (picture), the old fashioned is a great choice if you're into whiskey. We've been here a few times and still have yet to get through the entire drink menu.

This is probably the coolest place I have ever been too. The drinks were so amazing. The food was delicious, I definitely recommend the gouda dates. Our server was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I sought a speakeasy experience, and this establishment certainly met our expectations. The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was remarkable, and the cocktails were delicious!

Amazing atmosphere. Bartenders were very friendly. Great drink selection. Specialty drinks were fun. We had dragons blood, lavender fizz, bourbons galore Next time we went we had left to right (Verbenna, Violets Ghost, French 75, and Dragons Blood) . We also indulged on the nachos.

Hands down, the most fun we’ve had at a place to eat and drink! It was such a fantastic experience that we recommend them to everyone we know when we find out they will be in St Cloud! The Blue Goose, in our opinion, was the closest to an authentic speakeasy experience one could have. Around Minnesota, at least! I don’t want to give away too many details and spoil your visiting experience, but I will say when you walk into the main building you DO need to let the staff know you are there to visit the speakeasy. And then they direct you to this hidden gem! It was so much fun! The food was delicious. Our service was impeccable. The drinks had such an impressive attention to detail. Right down to the clear ice stamped with a goose! (PS: the smoked Old Fashioned was terrific!) And wow! Just such a great time!

My spirit finds its deepest resonance not merely in the hallowed halls where nostalgia breathes, but in those rare sanctuaries where the echoes of yesteryear are profoundly elevated by the very essence of human grace. In such cherished enclaves, the meticulously preserved relics of a bygone age, themselves imbued with the silent stories of generations, transcend their materiality, becoming vibrant through the crucible of genuine human interaction. The attentive care, flowing with an almost poetic rhythm, ensures every need is met with an anticipatory kindness that feels less like service and more like an embrace of shared history. This is further amplified by a truly friendly attitude, a radiant welcome that transforms a simple visit into a profound communion, dissolving the barriers between stranger and kindred spirit. And when this warmth is coupled with a deep, insightful knowledge—each detail shared not as a fact, but as an illuminating narrative that breathes life into forgotten tales—the past ceases to be a static exhibit and becomes a living, breathing tapestry of understanding. This sublime synergy doesn't just create a pleasant outing; it forges an indelible connection, elevating a simple visit into a timeless communion, a profound affirmation of shared heritage and the enduring beauty of the human spirit

Used to be one of our favorite spots. Went last night and had the WORST experience ever. It took nearly 15 minutes for anyone to come over to take drink orders and it was nearly empty. Our waitress then rudely asked if we had “papers” to go with our ID because they were vertical. Hint hint WI and ND IDs stay vertical until 27. The manager then came over and made up some law that they would get fined if her served us with vertical IDS and was very rude and snippy. Mind you we had been served their many times before and this is completely untrue. On our way out another staff member cursed at us due to using a wrong door. Overall a horrible experience that ruined our night.

St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud is a stunning Gothic-style church with a rich history dating back to 1855. Despite a fire that destroyed the original building in 1920, the cathedral stands as a testament to its enduring beauty and spiritual significance. Visitors of all backgrounds can admire its mesmerizing architecture, including intricate stained glass windows and marble pillars. Whether attending services, exploring the building, or simply taking in the tranquil atmosphere, St.
I can’t speak for the congregation, but the building is beautiful. We went during the day to see if the church was open, and it was. The architecture is absolutely incredible, but stained glass windows, marble pillars and multiple confessionals. If you have a chance, I would recommend stopping by to have a look and/or pray.

St. Mary's Cathedral is absolutely amazing. The architecture, arches, and stained glass windows are beautiful and very well laid out. And the decorations and music during the Holydays are simply stunning, especially from the balcony! I have known a lot of Priests over the years, and I must say that these Priests in St. Cloud are some of the best. They offer Adoration every Tuesday at 1 pm and Confession every Thursday and Friday at 4:30 and Saturday at 6 pm. I would highly recommend spending an hour with Jesus while you soak in your surroundings.

I'm a spiritual person, but do not believe that going to a building (church) brings you any closer to God than praying at home or in nature. I went to this beautiful place for a funeral, the event was sad, but the beauty in this building was extraordinary and the woman from the church who sang at the funeral actually had the voice of an angel. While I still don't feel like a building brings you closer to God, the beauty of the building and that angelic voice was very calming and memorizing.

Such a great tea shop. I had a hot peach ginger white tea. I asked for a low sugar option with low caffeine and she helped me choose the white tea peach ginger. It was so delicious, quality tea and calming for my morning. Great for calming my vacation over eating fog. It's in a historic downtown area. They have a lot of amazing pretty tea sets too and other products. I hope I can visit there again someday.

I always appreciate how knowledgeable the girls that work there ate about the teas and herbs. They always give out information about the teas. They are also very helpful on giving tips and Instructions on how to prepare them at home. 10/10 buisness! Definitely the place to have on your list if you are a tea enthusiast and/or herbalist.

It's part of a small Minnesota chain that started in Duluth in 2012 and now has four locations across central Minnesota. The restaurant boasts over 50 domestic and craft beer taps and serves a wide range of classic American bar food in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere.
Wowww… I can literally say this place has THE best burgers and fries in Saint Cloud, MN. I have been here for a long time and I’m just now eating at this place and it’s AMAZING. Especially if you like good seasonings.. omg the Cajun, buffalo and ranch mix for the fries dipped in the chipotleranch sauce is incredible… if you want a great burger go and check this place out TODAY ps as you can see in my photo the fries are completely gone gone gone that’s how good they were…

A burger for under $10 that you would actually want to eat...now that's a tall order. In my opinion 7 West Tap House has got it!! Granted fries are extra, but it's a very solid 🍔! No complaints. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was crazy fast!!

I had a lunch club going back in 2018-20 and was told I should rate 7 West Tap House. Well, that day has finally come 6 years later. This is a downtown building which is really narrow and deep. We were seated right away, and served even faster. Our Chicken Tacos, Double California Burger. and Jalapeño Beer Cheese Wantons were delicious. If you’re ever in the area, give this restaurant a try, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy…

This past Saturday, our baseball team stopped in at 7 West Taphouse, and we were genuinely blown away by the experience. Traveling with a big group of kids isn’t always easy, but from the moment we walked in, we felt taken care of. Our server was absolutely incredible. She was kind, patient, and so thoughtful — constantly checking in to make sure drinks were full and everyone had what they needed. She even helped us organize our orders by the boys’ jersey numbers, which made things so much easier for our team. It may seem like a small gesture, but it made a big difference. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was perfect for our group. It’s not often you find a place that’s both fun and family-friendly, but 7 West nailed it. We’re so thankful for the warm hospitality and great service. It turned what could’ve been just a quick team meal into a special memory. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

One of the must-try items on their menu is the shrimp tacos, which come with avocado, cilantro lime slaw, tomatoes, and roasted garlic aioli.

The peanut butter burger is next-level — seriously one of the best I’ve had. Definitely a spot to remember!

We and my girlfriend stopped here for lunch and it was our first time eating here. Since the weather was nice, we decided to sit at the outdoor patio. We were greeting by a friendly waiter who was happy to give us some suggestions on their popular dishes. I decided to get a pickled loon burger and my girlfriend got the Rueben. We got the dill pickle cheese curds as an appetizer. The food came quick and looked great. The cheese curds were hand battered and were very light tasting. Not drenched in grease and were very good. My burger was pretty good but I think next time I’ll get something a little more different than just a bacon cheeseburger. The gfs Ruben was delicious! I was lucky enough that she shared a few bites with me and it was phenomenal! Prices were great as well. About the same if not a little cheaper than fast food but tastes wayyyyy better! This place is a fun hang out. A very cool atmosphere inside and nice and relaxing and a good place to people watch outside. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area! I can’t wait to go back and try some others!

Hit and miss on some things. The staff are very nice and friendly and the food is actually very good when you get what you want. I have ordered from these guys two times and the first time everything was right and I was very happy with our food. I have pictures here of the Philly cheese steak with no onions and the Cali Burger. My fiance also ordered the Pickled loon with no pickles but was basically handed a plain burger as they forgot the bacon and some other dressings. My Cali Burger, was fantastic. The mixture of the cheese, sauce, and generous avocado slices made it worth ordering. I made time to order it one more time before leaving town. Personally, I don't like how there is no online ordering. I'm very awkward and don't like having to call a place to place an order. That being said, everyone who I've spoken with has been very polite and understanding of my awkwardness. The estimates for food pickup are not very accurate. I ended up having to wait an additional 25 to 30 minutes for our to go burgers. I was honestly so very excited that I could have a Philly without the onions. I know it's practically sacrilege, but I just don't like them. If you are in St Cloud, and tired of chain restaurants, give the Pickled Loon a try.

Me and my girlfriend went here on a Friday evening and it took about 45min -1 hours to get our food after asking the waitress 3xs and threating to cancel our or order food arrived and the food was lukewarm we told the waitress and she took our pop and drink off the bill to compensate for wait time and not warm food. Overall it was decent experience here and we will come here again in the future just not on a Friday evening

We had a wonderful bartender, Billy. Went above and beyond for us. Lizzie, the waitress, supposed to be one atleast, was acting inebriated. She was not paying attention to any of her tables, was crying, and being obnoxious. Made Billy pick up after her table when she was sitting down at a table with customers. Not impressed by her at all! Billy deserves a raise for doing his job AND hers. Then she took about a 15 minute "break" with her "friends" while on the clock. Making Billy fully responsible for the whole bar & restaurant. Kudos to him! She needs to go :)

Disappointed for first timers. The atmosphere is nice and cute but the service was very lack luster, inattentive and slow when it was very slow and not busy and the food all came out like 5 to 10 mins apart so we didnt really get to enjoy it together. The food was average but even the fries were not seasoned and like most of the menu items were sold out/unavailable.

Jet's Pizza is a fast food chain that specializes in Detroit-style pizza, offering a variety of crust flavors and also serving wings and subs. When contacting them to place an order, customers have reported receiving friendly and patient service from the employees. The quality of their food, particularly the sweet chili, mild, and honey barbecue wings as well as the all meat hand-tossed pizzas, has impressed many.
Took my kid here to try, we always see it when going to the comic book store. It was really good, and she approved of it also. Guy working was super cool, and our slices were done in no time. The special was a great deal too. I like the pizzeria atmosphere, but a TMNT or Street Fighter 2 arcade would just top it off.

Ordered a 4-corner specialty pizza delivered. I thought I accidentally ordered some of their bread because the bill was $27, but I hadn't... $27 for this is just crazy IMHO. Update: the pizza is delicious. I will pick up as opposed to delivery to avoid the delivery charges and tip.

This is a place where if you can you should eat in store when the pizza is still fresh and hot from the oven. I would recommend the four corner pizza, with turbo crust of course to maximize the delicious crispy, cheesey edges. Detroit style pizza is now my favorite type and no other pizza chain really compares with Jet's. Also the cinnamon sticks taste just like the center of a cinnamon roll if you're into that kind of thing.

Extremely poor customer service throughout the last ten years of being at this location. I was told I ordered wrong and they don’t read special instructions because they are to complex and it’s only for delivery instructions. The issue is I normally have this problem when I call over the phone and place an order so that excuse the turbo crust always gets forgotten is because I didn’t click the right button that argument clearly doesn’t hold up. I’ve never made a complaint to the store and felt like I was being heard or that I wasn’t being a nuisance for wanting the one reason we order pizza from here to be correct… The turbo crust.

Whether you're stopping by for a drink or indulging in their tasty wings and crispy fries, you can expect quality service in a clean environment. While the lighting may be dimmer than some prefer, it adds to the cozy bar vibe that patrons love.
Stopped for a drink and some food. Troy is an excellent bartender who makes the customer feel at home. He's very attentive and keeps things clean and tidy. Very knowledgeable about what they have to offer both drinks and food. The wings were delicious, hot, and tender; cooked to perfection. The fries while they are the skinny ones were hot and crispy with not too much salt. The prices were very good as well. This is a well run business and one we look forward to visiting often.

Decent bar food, friendly, attentive server and bartender, fun atmosphere (when karaoke is happening) just wish the bums on the street would stop hanging out around the entrances asking for stuff. You guys are very rude. I come there quite often by a couple drinks. I paid $85 for two drinks and three different orders of wings. I pacifically asked for my wings to be extra extra crispy. I get home and my wings are not extra extra crispy is a little still slimy I called and the lady was very rude and she hung the phone out. It’s OK I won’t come there and spend no more of my money being part of St. Cloud and part of this community. It really sucks I really don’t even go to bars, but I thought this was a nice one.
