A little disappointed. Second time at the restaurant. First time it was wonderful. Today is seemed less flavorful. Halibut fish taco was good. The halibut fish and chips were dry.

If you like fish, this is the place! Very tasty. Visited in the middle of the afternoon, in early December, rather quiet and nice. It's kinda weird that even though they serve beer and wine they don't have a restroom, which I thought was required. Oh well, you have been warned. Thankfully there is a Trader Joe's across the parking lot. Not cheap, but worth it. Fish and chips are recommended along with a $6 beer! Enjoy!

Seafoods are fresh. Ciopinno was sour and salty, red snapper was ok. Mostly outside seating so dogs r ok.

Ordered a salmon plate and clam chowder bread bowl. The veggies on the plate (broccoli and cauliflower) were old with that grayish mold that forms on the edges of the cuts; not great. Food was good aside from that though, and the side of fries was massive and quality. While there is outdoor seating, there is also a huge number of wasps that LOOVE eating your food, even more than you do. You basically can't sit outside. Inside is fine though.

What a great place for seafood lovers. Fish is fresh and cooked perfectly. We had the Calamari Sandwich and the fish tacos. The sandwich was perfect and made me want to come back for another one. Tacos were large with generous portions of fish. We had one fried and one grilled. Both excellent. Counter service is casual and friendly. Outdoor seating. Highly recommend a stop here.

If you like seafood this is a great place to eat. However the lobster rolls are small, and another downside is that this place is also a fish market so the inside smells of raw fish and the outside patio has mass amounts of ants. Was not the most pleasant eating experience.

Shrimp nachos are amazing, and very large. Fish and chips are very good but they give you almost no tartar sauce. The shellfish that they serve tastes like mud but their fish is always of good quality; take care though, they don't remove pinbones.

A nice little park in the middle of Templeton. Great for barbecues.

The sweetest park, with gorgeous big trees. I took a group of kids & we had a picnic & played for hours on the beautiful lawn. It felt like a simple, joyful, old-fashioned day.

Very nice and quiet. Nice green grass. The playground is very clean and my kids enjoyed it. There's also a pool facility adjoining here.

I go every Saturday for the huge farmer's market, my kids play at the park while I shop and then we usually grab some lunch from the food vendors! They have flowers, cheese, butchers, fish, vegan cheese, hummus, olive oil, salsas, watermelon 🍉 all the fruits and veggies with some specialty stuff ( micro green guy) Juices and baked good with some of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! Year round!

On Saturdays, (9-12:30)they have a Farmer's Market with lots of local farmers and fun foods!

Love this park. Great for kids, music festivals, barbecues, weddings! Easy place to bring a picnic and relax under the well maintained trees. The firehouse across the street is a so nice for the little ones. The fireman are kind when the little kids want to say hi!

This is our third visit to Jack's Bar and Grill, and it's been fantastic every time. It's our go-to spot when we're in the area and want delicious food. The salads are excellent (the salmon is cooked perfectly) and they offer a great selection of beers. One suggestion for the owners: the BBQ chicken is only available for dinner. It's a bit disappointing because we often come for lunch and would love to try it then. We'll definitely be back!

Food has always been delicious here. We frequent this place on regular basis. Last time we went, server was ok, but did not ask how we like our burger cooked, did not tell us there was a charge to split my hamburger and ahi tuna salad. My husband and I each ordered an entree and told our server we were going to split it. She said, ok. The food came and it was all delicious but burger was well done. I like mine medium but did not say anything to our server. I figured she was new and it was tasty so I just ate it. The bill came and there was a split charge of $11.00 for splitting the ahi salad and the burger. I asked the server why was there charges for splitting food? She told me that is the way it is. We have been there before and server split our food and we never were charged extra for it. I said, this must be a new rule and she said no it was not. I just wished she would have told us and I could have cut my own hamburger. Also, they do need to do something about the flies in the patio area. That did make it quite unpleasant to eat swatting flies.

We sat on the patio, but seemed forgotten. It took a long time to get a water, food and check, but servers were friendly and like a lot of restaurants may have been under staffed as it was busy. The fish and chips was lightly breaded and very tasty. The Philly had a bit of tangy kick to the flavor and the bread became soggy quickly. Other items may have been a better choice.

Although I come to Templeton at least once a month this is my first time to visit this restaurant. Now I kick my self in the butt for not coming here sooner. First thing through the door we were greeted by a ultra friendly waitress who expeditiously got a table for us and had us seated. Short time later another friendly waitress came and took our drink order. I couldn’t resist trying in the dirty margarita. It has everything in it including pickle juice olives in an assorted array of condiments. It was awesome. My food order came in a timely manner. The fish and chips and french fries pile a mile high. Barbecue chicken was super tender and Bathed tasty barbecue sauce. The green beans are cooked to perfection in butter and garlic in the mashed potatoes were to die for. All in all I’d say a very excellent experience and will be back.

If you're within 50 miles don't miss Jack's! This place is amazing. The staff were super friendly and really made us feel welcome. Kandice was an incredible server. After a couple weeks I still can't believe how great it was. The food was delicious. The nachos were delivered in a coffee can! They're a must! The cheese sauce is super creamy. If you're not into nachos, try it on the "filthy frys"! Many thanks for an awesome experience.

After visiting Santa Margarita. Stopped by Templeton for a quick lunch. The appetizer pretzel cheese sauce was delicious. I had the BBQ burger was decent. My good friend she had Philly cheesesteak sandwich and she enjoyed it.

BRO!!! We found this place on a total lark. We were actually planning to eat across the street (super cute spot with a fire pit), but the menu just wasn’t calling to us. So, we wandered over to Jack’s—and thank goodness we did. I ordered the ribeye steak burger with a fried egg and roasted jalapeño on top, and I swear I was high on food. I’ve never had that experience before in my life—absolutely insane flavor. If you go, you HAVE to try it. The kids devoured the chicken strips, we also tried the shrimp pasta, tri-tip salad, and a few other dishes—and every single one was way beyond our expectations. This place is a hidden gem in Templeton. Cozy vibe, knockout food. 10/10 recommend.

Ian and his family should be quite proud of this place. We are visiting friends from Arizona and they said McPhee's was the place to go for our dinner out together. We had such a great time. The atmosphere was so nice (lightimg, decor, etc). Noise level was great. Our server Stephanie did a fantastic job. The food was amazing. Everyone walked away happy.

McPhee Grill is a great spot! We really enjoyed our visit and the food was fantastic. Here's what we tried: Warm Goat Cheese (8/10): This dish comes with tasty herbs and is perfect with toast and garlic. Burger (8.5/10): The burger is half a pound, cooked to a perfect medium, and really juicy with awesome flavors. Lamb Rack (8/10): The lamb is cooked medium and pairs really well with the mint sauce.Vanilla Ice Cream (9/10): This homemade ice cream is the best I've had in a long time. Don't miss it!Keylime Cake (8/10): It's more like a cheesecake with a light keylime flavor, but it's very good. We'll definitely be back!

Beyond 5 stars. This family restaurant is the best. Big thanks to our driver Bruce that new people to get us in. He talked us into this so we changed our plans and went here. So glad we did. Service was impeccable. Ambiance was wonderful and the food was delectable. We enjoyed our wine choices. The artichoke appetizer was amazing. The 32oz porterhouse was amongst one of the best I’ve ever had. Thanks to the chef and all the staff as we felt like we were treated like family and wish there were more places like this one.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and upscale comfort. The food? Incredible. We started with a few appetizers that were perfectly executed—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The steaks were next level —juicy, expertly cooked, and full of rich, smoky flavor. You can tell they source quality cuts and know exactly how to treat them. Their wood-fired pizza was also a huge hit at our table—crispy crust, delicious sauce, and premium toppings. It’s not often you find a place that does both steaks and pizza this well! Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and on point. You can tell the team takes pride in what they do. If you're anywhere near Templeton, McPhee’s Grill is a must-visit. We’re already planning our next visit. Five stars all the way!

This is my second experience at McPhee's, and I can hardly wait until my third, fourth, etc.!!! The place is beautiful, the staff is ultra accommodating, and the food is out of this world! This time I had the salmon for lunch. I asked that it be under done as much as possible. It was like butter and it melted in my mouth! So delicious!!! The only reason the photos show it pretty much empty is because they close at 2 after lunch to prepare the place for dinner. I highly recommend this place! *UPDATE* Just went back yesterday (April 8, 2019) for my third visit! I swear it just gets better! This time I had a lamb burger. My husband had a chicken mushroom dish, and my mother had a swordfish tostada. All three were amazing and presented exquisitely! Just moved back up to the area after 20 years away and I'm looking forward to visiting more often!

Just went to McPhees new to area, I will not be returning. Service was just OK, food was over priced. DON'T order the aged Rib eye very thin and flavorless. I can buy a better steak at Costco. Very disappointed for the price. The only highlight to the dinner was the dessert.

My only complaint is that prices aren’t listed on the menu. It worked out fine though. The shrimp tacos were lots of big shrimp! Grab a cold beer next door and enjoy.

Good tacos, good place to get Mexican food. Just go up to the window and order they bring it out to you. The kitchen is all ladies and the salsas are good. The desserts like flan are made by them. Also they have a cover sitting area and a few benches outside under tree.

Came into eat some fresh oysters as stated out front on their sign. The oysters were not fresh, In fact they were discolored and tasted disgusting. I would not recommend this place to anyone…

Never to return! My dad ordered take out. First and last time we'll be purchasing. We didn't like the taste and portion in comparison to price. Burrito was mainly lettuce and tomato. Didn't feel like authentic Mexican food. Not much flavor. Maybe I'm spoiled and have grown up with authentic Mexican food. My grandparents also have had a restaurant for close to 50 years. A lot of recipes passed down throughout our ancestors. What made us feel bad was the service. As a precaution due to my mom having a low immune system we wear a mask for precaution everywhere we go. And the lady that took the order acted as we had the virus. It was just an awful feeling. Thankfully we've never had the virus.

The food is good, but nothing to get excited about. However, they don’t serve drinks (you have to go to the market next door), the outside dining area was covered in flies, and it was pricier than most taquerias. We unfortunately didn’t share the rave reviews which lured us in. Maybe it was just an off day?

We had a variety of meat tacos the shrimp , the salmon was amazing👏 Carne asada cooked perfectly! We didn't get a picture of the shrimp or salmon we tore it up lol!

Staff is great for the most part sometimes you might get a grumpy employee while rush hour is in full swing, other than that they are awesome. Food is one of the best chicken and mojo spot around as well as bomb deli sandwiches. They can be extremely busy as they also have great gas prices.

Went for some fuel and snacks very busy place that seems to do well. I wish they would sell it to me. Fuel was decent priced for a small town the snacks were good mono's are always good here. The ranch is a tad watery. Corn dog seemed old.

I took my daughter here to buy some deli sandwiches and some of their awesome fried chicken. One of the girls behind the register noticed that it was her birthday and she said, hey, is it your birthday? And my daughter said yes, it's my birthday and she went ahead and bought my daughter one of the homemade cookies on the counter. I thought that was the sweetest thing for her to do for my little girl This place is absolutely awesome

My first time here and they have such a delicious food 😋 we really enjoy eating at the patio... was kind of windy, but they have a fireplace on the back 🔥... makes it cozy. Fries 🍟 we're my favorites 😍😋 all the bar was clean and enjoyable 😉

Super cool vibes and a killer outdoor setup! Pig Iron has an awesome atmosphere…laid-back, stylish, and perfect for hanging out. The outdoor area is spacious and inviting, with a full bar that keeps the energy going. Great spot whether you’re grabbing a drink or settling in for a meal. I ordered the tri tip torta with fries. The torta was decent…flavor was a bit mild for my taste, but still enjoyable. The fries, though, were a standout: super thin steak-style fries with a crispy snap that made them surprisingly addictive. Menu has plenty of tempting options, and the vibe alone makes it worth a visit. Definitely a place I’d come back to, especially for drinks and that outdoor scene.

I used to really like this restaurant but it has really gone downhill. 1: Food and Drinks First off we found two hairs in our food The menu has shrank. They used to have a bigger menu that varied and super high quality food.The quality used to be amazing. Now the menu is small, the food is mediocre and it doesn’t come with a side like it used to. The cocktails used to be hands down the best on the coast. They were beautiful and elegant and tasted amazing. Now they are very mediocre and take a long time to get. 2: The Service This used to be a very nice restaurant with great servers. Now you order your food up front at the counter and take a buzzer. For your drink you have to take a receipt and go to the bar wait 5-10 minutes for a drink. Then go get your own food. For one this eliminates local jobs I used to be a server so that offends me. But also if I spend $50-$100+ I expect to be served. This isn’t The Habit. 3: The Atmosphere I will admit the patio is still nice but the restaurant is empty and clearly for a reason.

This was a culinary masterpiece. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed an evening on the Pig Iron patio. Everything from food to service to atmosphere was an elevated experience. I would dine here again in a heartbeat. Thanks to our waitress Heather for the phenomenal service! And hats off to the chef and bar, every bite and sip was a delightful experience. Highly recommend.

Went there today for brunch with a huge group and we had the best time!! The food was absolutely delicious and crazily affordable (really though). Quite possibly the best French fries I’ve ever had. Great mocktails, too!! Will definitely be back.

Ok service was good but was our server buzzed? /: Honestly everything about this place was AMAZING. Personally I love the exposed wooden beams, the out door area, the restaurant and the bar side! The food truly shocked me, I don't know what I was expecting but it was soooo flavorful. Please try the onion rings, so full of flavor and so crunchy! Moved from LA, and I can't wait to bring friends and family here! Vegetarians also have some options here!

Martin's is a great little local place and their food is top notch. Contenders for my favorite burgers in the county. The crinkle fries are also a must. It has a really unique feel with it's outdoor diner-style seats right on Main Street. This place is always high on my list when I'm back home in Templeton.

I just ate an awesome Ortega Chili Cheeseburger from Martin's on Main. Our family was hungry after a long day of visiting and shopping. My daughter suggested getting take out, so she went and picked up some burgers. When they got home, the burgers were not greasy and the the buns were not soggy. They were just right! The big bag of fries were still perfect. I think we will make this place a definite place to eat every time we visit. Thanks Martin's on Main!

The Chipotle Chicken sandwich was the best sandwich I've ever had! Every ingredient was excellent. ...the bacon, the grilled onions, the sauce, and the bun was so fresh and soft. Highly recommend! Friendly staff rounded out a great casual dining experience. :)

This burger stand recently changed hands and the new owner (Tina I think) seems to be doing a wonderful job! I like to start with the basics, so a hamburger and fires it is! Well this place is now on the lets come back list and try a few more variations! Add a bit of mustard and the burger was satisfying. The fries were crispy and hot, and just right. The BBQ Bacon burger was rated well by my son, and we will be coming back. Thanks Tina!

We were visiting San Luis Obispo and saw this place had really good reviews and the people were right! This place was amazingly good! The burger was huge and the fries were very good as well! Definitely recommend if your looking for a good burger spot!

I love this place. We order to go and eat in the park nearby. The burgers are great. The buns are always fresh which makes the burgers exceptionally good. I order the ortega burger with no salt added to the patty. Order ahead if you are in a hurry.

Standard hearty breakfast burrito, however it was the brown rice bowl that was very impressive! Very flavourful, very balanced. Perfect way to start your day. Highly recommend!

Amazing place! Me and my wife were exploring the area and found this hidden gem 💎 The food was amazing (both breakfast and lunch plates), the service and environment were awesome, and the coffee was one of the best ones I've had in a long time!!! The place is a little over an hour from our house, but we'll definitely be making the drive to eat here again ❤️

Food is DELICIOUS. We ordered the mushroom polenta, Reuben, and the ricotta pancakes. My only critique would be that the polenta was chunky instead of a smooth mashed potato consistency and I reallyyyyy wish that the pancakes had more lemon sauce because it was just that good! By the end, the pancakes felt a little dry because there was no more sauce left. Overall, we were very happy with the taste of everything we ordered. Service is very friendly as well but there’s a bit of a waiting time to order, nothing crazy though. We will definitely be back in the future. FYI, you can order a half stack of the pancakes for half the price.

The largest group of Farmer's in North County doesn't disappoint! So many fresh veggies and fruit.

Love this Farmer's market, great veggies, salad mixes, fruits esp. now, all kinds of food vendors: bread, tamales, sausage, frozen meat, eggs, and much more!! Best in the county!!!

My favorite of all time. Small and quaint. I buy corn tamales every week from a gentleman. Delicious.

This is my favorite farmer's market. There is a great variety of produce, plus specialty coffee, high quality meats, a knife sharpening service, baked goods, and prepared foods. If you go often enough you can develop a friendly acquaintance with the vendors/farmers. The venue is beautiful, being located in a small town park with a playground for the kids, and a weekly dog training class. It opens at a reasonable hour, so you can get a little extra sleep, but still have most of your Saturday for fun activities. Also, Trader Joe's is in the same town, so you can get all your shopping done.

Fresh produce. Good variety. Love the orange honey. Strawberries if caught at the right time of summer are amazing and reasonably priced. Good deals on avocados in May and June. Friendly vendors. Some prices are crazy high though.

Great Dog Park!! We are visiting from Las Vegas, and brought our two dogs with us. We stopped by here while we were out running errands with our local family. This is the first dog park I’ve seen with a fee, but I can see the money is put to good use. This park is in great condition with lots for the dogs to do. We were the only ones in the big dog park at that time, but that gave our pups time to explore on their own. This was also the first time they have come across wood chips, which was entertaining to watch.

My doggos love it here! This place is safe, not too crowded, and has a great clientele of friendly locals.

Clean, pretty and great! They have several tennis racquets with balls everywhere. So much fun sending the ball flying for your doggo to chase!

Divided area for small dogs and larger dogs. Self filling water bowls, potty bags at the gate, double gate to go in with your dog. Wood chips kind of large but not really a problem. Our Mini Aussie loves it.

Uberroth redefined Zins for me. Great wines! Great tasting room. Super knowledgeable staff. You can keep it simple, or get a full on geological lesson. Either way, they have great wines!

We've been coming to Paso Robles for a coupke of decades, but had never visited Turley. After seeing them featured in Food & Wine magazine, we decided to make our first visit If you're interested in great Zinfandels, Turley is the place! We tasted seven Zins from different vineyards, and each was a new experience. Some of their Zins are from the oldest vines in California. I would call Turley a hidden gem. The tasting room and grounds are pleasant and relaxing, with have indoor and outside seating. Brook, our host, was a excellent and knowledgeable. She introduced us to the library wines that revealed the ageability of Zin. All I can say is mmmm! We accidentally joined their wine club because of the amount of wine we purchased. I recommend this spot.. cheers!🍷

When you find good wine, you make time to enjoy it over and over again, and Turley is a place where you can find good wine….like their Petit Syrahs n Zinfandels….estate wines from Paso and Unique vineyards from Nor Cal. We enjoy visiting this place because they have a cool rack of tasty vino….so we stock up to enjoy at home. The young Italian guy who helped up on our last visit was superb too. Very funny and down to earth. We’ll be back.

The staff, food, wine, and atmosphere were all wonderful! The weather was nice and everyone was seated outside. While it appeared to be a busy day, I do not feel like we waited for an extended time for anything. The wine was excellent, and members of my party even made comments on how there were types they enjoyed that were not ones they normally go to.The wasn't an option I was made aware of to avoid the tasting fee with a wine purchase and while the food was good, it was expensive. Overall, I'd recommend AronHill for tasting and lunch.

This was an amazing experience. First, the location is stellar. A lovely little sun wash patio next to a gorgeous Italian building. It is up on a little knoll, so we overlooking the grapevines. Very relaxing and serene. This winery is woman owned, woman run and has a woman Vintner! Unusual. The wine of course was amazing. Primitiva was new to me. It is like an Italian Zinfandel. It is award-winning and I can see why. For food, Bucatini stole the show. The Italian round pasta with a meat sauce that had clearly simmered for hours. So rich in flavor. I had a chicken salad sandwich that was quite rustic with nuts, cranberries and bits of celery and apple that made it quite complex. The bread was amazing. We will definitely return

Good wine, good food and a great view on the outside deck. The bistro we had a beet salad, baked brie and the mushrooms. All fantastic. We will be back. Oh yah and our person walking us through our tasting was knowledgeable, full of enthusiasm and super funny. Made it fun

The winery's outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and taking in the scenery. While the views are breathtaking, the wines themselves leave much to be desired. While not unpleasant, they lack the complexity and character that define truly exceptional wines. The accompanying food, however, is a pleasant surprise. The menu features a variety of well-prepared dishes that complement the wines, making for a satisfying dining experience.

Where to start with the praise for AronHill and the magic they have created. The winery itself is perched majestically on a hill, radiant and proud. The atmosphere, the culinary masterpieces, and of course the life force that is its wine, sings to my romantic heart and dances with my soul. Gorgeous vineyard with #4 best Disc golf course in the state, throwing over and through the vineyard. Pinot Grigio was excellent!!

Outstanding disc golf course and beautiful venue for wine tasting! My husband and I have been here a couple of times now and plan on returning. BYO ice water for the disc golf course and then head to the winery for a refreshing glass of wine after! This winery has a lovely patio and does events sometimes like live music so be sure to check out their website.

Gorgeous vineyard. The service was excellent. I sat outside on the beautiful grassy area. Pet friendly. Enjoyed a flight and bought a bottle and some honey. They offer a charcuterie plate for snacking or bring your own. The entire outdoor area is covered with large oak trees, so it provides wonderful shade in the hot summer.

One of the best wineries in Paso Robles. We have been members here for several years. Angela is our favorite hostess. The wine's our spectacular. Highly recommend

One of the Best! We love Castoro’s sustainable winery and vineyards! Wonderful wines, great outdoor garden to relax and have your wine tasting, or indoors if you’d rather. We love that we can bring our own snacks to enjoy with the wines while soaking up the vineyard view. Friendly servers too!

This is the only winery & vineyard in the country that has its own disc golf course on the property. The experience I had here was great. The thought that went into designing the disc golf course really shows. I love how they incorporate the wine barrels into the course. I love seeing all the huge oak trees. The best part is after (or before) your round you can drink wine from the tasting room. My favorite was their Zinfusion. I wish I lived closer by so that I could play here more often.

Great wine tasting experience. Laid back and not rushed. August did a fantastic job explaining the different wines on the tasting list. Outside seating arrangements are pleasant, clean and well shaded by the beautiful large trees on the property. A very enjoyable Friday late afternoon date with my best friend and husband! Thanks Peachy Canyon, oh and the Petite Sirah and Port are THE best!

Nice little historical house serves as the tasting room. Nice place and the hosts are knowledgeable and willing to share. The wines are superb (I hope you like Zins). Most wines are on the ‘bold’ side of the spectrum.

One of the originals in Paso! Thankfully a place that still does great Zin's in addition to their others like the excellent Ms Behave Malbec. Great Rose' as well, very light and easy to drink, perfect for the hotter days. Jessica was excellent as well as was the yard cat who greeted us.

The drive to Peachy Canyon is beautiful! All the wine is delicious and very fruit forward. I highly recommend this Winery if you're in the Paso Robles/Templeton area. There's also a large cross area and set up a picnic and just relax.

A great little spot with a cozy atmosphere, pleasant staff and some good wines! The flight of wines isn’t 5-star across the board but there are some def gems in there. This was my 4th visit and it’s worth visiting. The girl serving us the flight was polite and attentive. The outdoor seating areas are in need of a good cleaning/upgrading (the tables and chairs were filthy) but overall I love the wines and atmosphere at Peachy. Check them out on your next tasting trip.

Upon finding this place and seeing the great reviews my girlfriend and I were very excited to try it. The red sauce was stellar and so was the creamy white sauce. The shells were nothing less than perfect practically swimming in sauce, with perfectly melted cheese. The garlic bread was amazing as well as their personal pizza with linguica. 15/10 will gladly eat here again.

Food is delicious, except the pasta it tasted like the microwaveable ones great customer service, small and cozy, however we did find a hair in our Calzone, we didn't say anything because it was literally the last piece that we found it in.

I was very excited to take my family to eat some pizza. Ones we got there we looked over menu, ones we where ready the cashier was taking are order and almost everything that we wanted she said sorry we are out of that. Why didn’t they just tell us what they didn’t have before i placed my order. My daughter and son wanted a pizza so we got the Hawaiian instead of ham since they didn’t have that we did sausage with pineapple, they said 15min so we left. My wife got the pizza and we opened it in the car and it was all burnt, kids only had two slices that looked ok.

I was craving something with bread while visit my friend in Templeton. Griff's seemed like a promising option. Nice friendly staff, cozy environment and a pretty good looking menu. They sadly only had 3 sandwiches on the menu so I went with the Dipper since it sounded like a French dip and should be bread heavy. When it was brought out to me I was surprised to see the sandwich that was on something like a mini baguette instead of a French roll, but hey looked delicious. Well, it was. The carmelized onions and cheese on their beef was so good. The beef wasn't completely brown like so many I've had and still had some nice tasty pink beef. Their au jus I'm assuming they make, as it was much less salty than most I've had which was quite pleasant. It just gave a nice depth of flavor without being a salt bomb. The bread also was really good, that said, not for this style of sandwich. Something where you get a dip for the sandwich needs something with more bread and that is more absorbant. This, while being a delicious mini baguette wasn't up to the task, it wasn't able to soak up much of the au jus. Definitely a good experience, I'll be back to try more for sure, and I would order the Dipper again.

AFFORDABLE SURPRISE, what a find, great food, reasonable prices and very accommodating staff. Getting harder to find these days. Location is calm and peaceful something I personally look for. Will be returning!

I went here for lunch today with a few friends. The staff was very friendly, the salads were fresh & had lots of ingredients. All the hot food came out perfectly cooked and delicious. Everybody, in our party of 7, was very happy with their food.

The cheese “simpleton” pizza was delicious!! The stuffed shells were disappointing and the side salads were good but not great. Really kind employees.

My $21 burrito was made of mostly soft, bland potatoes and beans. I struggled to find the chorizo and eggs advertised on the menu. Very disappointing, especially for the price.

I stopped by Chulo's for a quick lunch to-go. I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered a carnitas taco with rice and beans. I'm conflicted about this review because the food was delicious, the service was friendly, and my order came out quick. But with a small tip, my order totaled just under $20 for ONE taco, rice, and beans. The portions were not small, but even so, I just don't know if all the positives outweigh the fact that it was overpriced. Worth is determined by what one is willing to pay for something, and at the time, I was willing to pay $20. But I don't think I will be willing to pay that again in the future.

If you are in Templeton either visiting a doctors office or Twin Cities hospital give this nice Mexican food restaurant a try. The people and family that run it are very nice they have a relaxing patio. The food always taste great. Everything tastes fresh. Enjoy cheers!

I cannot think of a more perfect location for a winery and a wine tasting experience. The area is so serene, off the beaten path and beyond beautiful. Factor in delicious, and I mean delicious wines, friendly, customer-oriented staff and knowledgeable wine personnel, you will not be disappointed. The facilities are immaculate, the tasting rooms comfortable and inviting and the staff....every single person we came in contact with was happy to be there and passionate about the brand. They are definitely doing something right at Epoch. Can't wait to go back for the fall release.

Outstanding winery with excellent wines! Their estate is huge and tasting room is gorgeous — modern but still has elements from its own history. All the wines that they had on their tasting menu were fantastic. I really enjoyed the Ingenuity blend that was Syrah forward. We also got the Charcuterie platter as well that had a good selection of cheeses and a unique mushroom pate. Service was friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine and history!

My family and I are here on vacation and had an amazing experience at Epoch thanks to Taylor and team. We brought our own picnic lunch and they were super accommodating to our children. Wines are fantastic but the whole location is just beautiful.

Such a wonderful tasting! The wines were fantastic and the service was incredible. The wines were already poured for us on arrival, making it easy for us to taste each and revisit certain ones as we pleased. Our server sat with us as she explained their wine making process, which made for a unique and intimate experience. This was our favorite stop of the day!

I cannot believe anyone could ever say anything negative about Epoch. My husband and I love them so much. They easily have my favorite zin and rose. And I usually wouldn’t even try the rosé. Their hospitality is wonderful and they are always accommodating. Hands down top 3 most beautiful wineries in paso. They give big pours so either tell them to do less or get a dump bucket. We will never stop being members!

Wow. Just an overall perfect experience at this winery. Sarah and Breydan were incredible and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the winery and all the amazing wines they produce. There was never a moment we felt unattended. We were traveling in from North Carolina, and they were so helpful giving us recommendations around town as well. Went to Donati Family Vineyard for the first time and I have to say I that we were very impressed with how nice it is. Small, but very nicely done and kept. They have bocce ball here (we didn’t play though, maybe next time) But, the most impressive thing was the hospitality. Our server was so nice, friendly and made us feel welcome the entire time we were there. She was knowledgeable about the wine and was pleasant to talk to as well. We loved the wine tasting and we were very glad we came. We will definitely visit again.

Donati Winery is a lovely spot with a great atmosphere and welcoming vibe. The host was knowledgeable, and we really enjoyed the wine tasting experience. The charcuterie board was a nice touch. Overall, the wine was good, we especially enjoyed the Roar and the Cabernet.

Fantastic visit. Great wines, beautiful setting, and super friendly, knowledgeable staff (thanks Jennifer!). Will definitely make a second visit here, especially for the Pinot Noir, which was perfectly balanced and had all the right nuances.

My wife and I did a wine tasting at Donati Family Vineyard approximately 15 years ago. Back then I was not able to order wine shipped to Arizona. There was a law that did not allow shipping wine from California to Arizona. Since then the laws have changed. So now I can order great tasting wine from a great vineyard. The wine I just ordered is great! I always think of our wine tasting adventure on our anniversary trip 15 years ago. Thank you, George

We had a fabulous time last Saturday at the Pizza and Wine Pairing event. The food, the wine and the atmosphere was perfect. Annie and the Venteux staff did such an amazing job coordinating and arranging this event! We love all of the Venteux Vineyards events and the wonderful people that make it happen. Thank you Venteux Vineyards.

What a lovely venue and winery! This was our first time at the winery, we came for their Friday night music. They offer a nice selection of red wines, a chardonnay and a rose`. We really enjoyed our evening! The music was great, the grounds are well kept, spacious, pet and kid friendly, and nice views of the vineyards. We will be back to enjoy another night of music!

Venteux is by far our favorite winery! Not only do they have the BEST wine but they also have the best staff around! We have three kids and the Venteux team is always so sweet and happy to see them. They even took time out of their day to introduce my sons to their resident cows and gave him a whole lesson on how to feed them and care for them.

Kevin made our experience at this winery! After 5 other wineries I would go back to this one first! The wine was awesome! We brought our own lunch, there were the cutest puppies, and Kevin made this Visit amazing! I recommend this winery! Great wine, people, vibe, and scenery!

Wonderful wines, really nice people, scenic and comfortable venue! They often have live music on the summer weekends. Being just a few miles from 101 is convenient too. We like these folks enough that we're wine club members

A beautiful place and all the wine is fantastic! We're not partial to white wine but even the white wine hits the spot here. The cab and petite syrah is out of this world! Turns out they distill brandy but you can only purchase it if you're a club member

We had the most idyllic Vineyard Tour and Tasting with Heidi at Onx on Sunday! The 4 of us joined her at the Tractor Shed for a ride in an off-road vehicle through the vineyards stopping at lovely places to taste and talk about the wine. We had so much fun with Heidi! She is delightful to be with, and very knowledgeable about Onx wines which were delicious. A wonderful and different way to tour a winery with an excellent guide! Highly recommend!!!

Had an amazing time on the Vineyard Tour and Tasting experience. A lot of places in Paso Robles have great wine and beautiful estates, including Onx. What separated our experience here was having Heidi as our host. She elevated the elevated the private tasting experience to a whole next level and we had so much fun learning about wine (and other topics!) with her. We'll be coming back soon.

We just participated in their Harvest Experience which was absolutely amazing! On Friday we had a wonderful Tour from their win maker and learned all about how wine was made, followed by delicious apps from Chef Amy paired with their awesome wine. Saturday morning we had the opportunity to taste, pick and stomp grapes out in their vineyard. Their staff were friendly and accommodating. We went home with lots of Reckoning and tons of fun pictures. Thank you Onx!

My family and I did a tasting on the recommendation of a few locals, and we had the best time with Paula! The wine was awesome (some of the best we had in Paso) and the experience was so cozy and warm that we will 100% be back the next time we're in Paso.

Heidi was the best ever. She taught us everything there is to wine. If I was the owner I’d giver her a raise.

Three of us stopped in on a Monday night at 4:40 PM. When we walked in there was a fairly large group of people doing a tasting, but other than that the place was pretty empty. We were promptly greeted by a hostess, who immediately told us that we would not be able to do a tasting, but we could have a glass of wine because they were closing soon. Seemed kind of odd since we were there 20 minutes before closing. I got the general vibe that she wasn’t really excited that we showed up 20 minutes before closing because she obviously wanted to leave right away at 5. I would not call it the greatest service considering we typically spend $100-$200 when we go into a winetasting room. And often buy several hundred dollars worth of wine. But I guess she may have had somewhere to be at 5 PM. She did come over and chat with us a bit when we were sitting having our glass of wine, but again it just felt very mechanical, and not the best experience. I just feel she could have been a little more warm when we first got there, and been a little more tactful explaining they close at 5 PM.

Chesebrough Farm is a hidden gem among pumpkin patches! While it may not have all the flashy decor of some other farms, the quality of their pumpkins and the unique experience make it worth the trip. The pumpkins here were some of the largest I’ve seen, and the pumpkin cannon is a must-try! It’s a bit of a wait, but absolutely worth it for the fun and excitement. If you're looking for a place with big pumpkins and a one-of-a-kind attraction, Chesebrough Farm is well worth the visit.

Cute farm. All the had was a ton of pumpkins and a pumpkin shooter. Prices on pumpkins 🎃 were good compared to other patches. If you're looking for a lot of activities, this might not be the places. I loved the variety of pumpkins. They had a lot! Would go back for that!!

Huge selection of pumpkins, off the beaten path, no crowds, beautiful property. The kids enjoyed picking out their perfect pumpkin. Lots of interesting squash and gourds for purchase as well. My only complaint was the pricing. We were actually told by an employee that the price all depends on who you ask at the farm. They have a display of pumpkins with pricing determined by size. But it’s a ways off from the cashier, and you wonder if you’re getting a fair price. And at the last minute, a pumpkin I picked out jumped up in price by $3. I was told it had an interesting stem, and so that causes the price to go up. I don’t like this pricing scheme. It feels shady. Didn’t purchase all the pumpkins we planned to because of this. Trader Joe’s has pumpkins for $2.99.

We love this farm! Every Halloween this is the place for our family to go! Friendly, family ran farm! Templeton tradition and a must see! The pumpkin shooting cannon is Must Do!! So much fun

I love the assortment of pumkins and squash! So many to choose from! My kids enjoyed seeing all the animals. They have a bunch of wagons to shop with also, Neat idea, I stuck my youngest in the wagon he enjoyed watching everything.

Wow! Another hidden gem on the Central Coast! We love our Avila Barn, but there were more people than pumpkins, so we went on an adventure. About 15 miles north of Avila out of Templeton, you find this family farm that had every version of pumpkin and squash you can ask for. Friendly helpers and carriage rides available. Bonus found no crowds and plenty of room to maneuver. We selected our carvers and took many family fall photos!!!

Been going there for many years! Donna and her hubby have been growing pumpkins for Halloween so long I can't remember! See you next year as they are only open oct 1-31. A piece of gods country! 🎃

Great spot if you like reds! A very cozy, indoor and outdoor seating! The host was so friendly, provided fantastic conversation! Reservations are recommended as it gets quite busy. Pets are allowed as well!

There are several wineries in the area but this one has left an impressionable mark on our small group. We popped in a few years ago just because we were in the area for another event. No reservations, no nothing, we just pulled up without the desire for a pretentious experience. We got welcomed like we were family. We left the event having exchanged contacts with the owner. This is an amazing place, family owned, great wines, great people. Put it on your list if you really want to go to a winery that actually gives a shit.

Really enjoyed my visit of Bella Luna. First of all, the wines are great! I'm generally a red guy, but they had this white wine that they aged in a concrete "egg" (it's actually shaped like an egg, he showed us the contraption in the back) that was super crisp and refreshing. We ended up buying two bottles, looking forward to popping them open in the summer. The reds were also tasty. On top of that, we really loved chatting with Lucas the winemaker there. Besides being extremely knowledgeable about wine, he regaled us with stories about the history of the winery and his own personal anecdotes. One thing that I liked about this place is that they put a lot of heart into their plants as well as their blends. Lucas showed us the test tube he uses to try out blends, and he's not afraid to be a little non-traditional with his mixing. At one point his kids came into the room and handed out little oranges to everyone there. The oranges were delicious. In terms of the ambiance, there's a little table outside and a few small tables inside, but this place isn't particularly big. Definitely a small, family run vineyard, and it has the hospitality of a small family run place. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended as a stop on any wine tasting trip!

Me and my fiancé Skylar went to this beautiful winery, this was her first time wine tasting, and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere gives the place such a warm and inviting feeling. We were able to bring our two fur babies, one being a pit Bull, and everyone was so kind to us. Make sure to try the fighter pilot red🍷.

Didn't get to taste the wines , left after being told that wine tasting is limited to the courtyard. 90F and no shade. With plenty of empty tables in the shade in "private" area...

A great small winery with a lot of it's own vineyards. Mostly working on Italian style wines. Well crafted, small production, worth a visit..

The people there are really friendly and the wine was so good. I liked it much more than the bigger wineries around. Go there and taste!

Super nice staff. We start with little nachos and loved them. Then had burritos, they were large and we should have shared one. The salsa was tasty and guacamole was next level. Nice small town location. We will be back!

Foods always good, service is always great, prices are reasonable. Salsa and chips are the best around. I pretty much live here. Been going here since they opened, I was about 5, I am now 33 and take my kids here. They are like family at this point, they know our names and orders by heart.

. The lady waitress was very nice and helpful with everything. But I was a slightly disappointed by the food quality. I had the chicken enchiladas and I said I want them without the rice and beans but both of them were present in my food. Also the first beer I had there was months past expiraton date and that taste was awful. Luckily the waitress brought me another one, which was good.

Whenever we are in Templeton, we would make it a point to eat here. The food are great and reasonably priced. My favorite is the street tacos...yummy!

I personally was not impressed by the food. To me it was just basic. Prices are reasonable which probably makes it a good stop for most people to swing by and pick up somethingnto go. Service was quick to get the food out however there was never any follow-up after for more to drink or anything like that.

My wife and I ate here a week ago. Although the waiter gave us both the wrong orders the mix up turned out delicious. Great Mexican food on the central coast, and I grew up on Mexican food so I'm rather picky. We enjoyed our meals and the service. We plan to go back again as we have eaten here for many years. Highly recommend this tiny mom & pop restaurant.

Giving two stars because the sandwich was at least edible. After about a 6-month break from Subway, I decided to go back to this particular location. Not sure if there was a change of ownership, major staff turnover or what, but it definitely WASN'T the previous rockstar team who knew how to make a sandwich. I ordered my usual footlong "Spicy Italian" (though the name had changed to something else a while back). Now I've had many Spicy Italians over the years, and this one sucked. There was barely any meat, and a ton of cheese. The sandwich was sloppily assembled and the "sandwich artist" clearly didn't give a damn about his job. Like I said, the sandwich was edible, but it was like I was eating a cheese sandwich... and a pretty crappy one, even by cheese sandwich standards. What also struck me as really odd was they installed a metal "screen" at this location to shield the meats from view (this is in addition to the glass that is already covering the meats, so not like it's a health code thing). Not sure what's going on there, but one of the reasons people go to Subway is because you can see what's going into your sandwich. It's suspicious, to say the least. Ok, fast-forward about 2 weeks and my wife asked if I wanted Subway for lunch while she was out running errands. I told her if <name redacted> (the aforementioned "sandwich artist") was working, just turn around and leave. Unfortunately, he was there and she didn't leave! She came back with another footlong Spicy Italian. As I unwrapped the sandwich, I paused, and in a moment of sympathy for my fellow man, I thought "Hmm, maybe he's new and my last experience was a fluke... a product of inexperience and poor training." I looked within, and reflected on my own experience in retail, my own mistakes throughout life, and considered that while I made mistakes, I always had another chance to course-correct and do better. I found solace in these thoughts as I proceeded to unwrap the sandwich. Well, like a kid on Christmas, hoping for a pony from Santa, I was sorely disappointed. The sandwich was assembled exactly the same way as before. Same poor assembly, same meat deficiency, same cheese overdose. The sandwich sucked just as much as the last one. At least they're consistent. This location used to consistently churn out good sandwiches from a staff that seemed to care about their jobs. This guy doesn't, and with the odd metal screen covering the meats, I suspect it's due to a change of management, extreme cost cutting, and low quality. I've given this location more money than they deserve and won't be going back until the next management change.

I would have given this store 5 stars, but management is screwing their staff over by not allowing tips when using a credit card. This needs to change pronto! Every other Subway allows it.

I don’t typically leave reviews. I ordered a 6in sandwich online. (Yes maybe I could’ve drove and watch them maybe they would’ve not done such a poor job but I trust they’d do their job) I payed almost $20. Ordered the “Titan Turkey” which is supposed to have 33% more protein. Tell me why my sandwich has 2 THIN slices of the turkey? And 1 tiny cheese triangle. This was very disappointing. Some of us are working as well and can’t make the drive so we pay the extra $ only for this to happen.

The older Hispanic woman at the 2290 El Camino Real Subway in Atascadero CA. is very rude, disrespectful & very impatient. I asked her kindly and clearly for my sandwich ingredients, she sighed and acted put out. She got my request completely wrong. She does not respect her customers nor does she provide a positive environment. Her negative attitude made me lose my appetite..I will never return to Subway again. Ever!

My wife and I got lurred back to Subway with their new Series menu I had seen on commercials. Talk about over promise, under deliver! They forgot the bacon on my wife's All American Club, and as she put it best, there was only "a hint of meat and condiments" on it. If you love the taste of bread and a "hint of meat and condiments" than pay the $11 plus tax. From now on, we'll be sticking with the far superior, same priced subs at Jersey Mike's. Here is a picture of my sandwich, 'The Champ'. They should have named it, 'The Chump' Shame on you Subway.

Nice small cozy tasting room. 3 different flights - wine, port style wines, and hard liquor. Had an amazing experience, ended up buying camomile and plum liquor. Chamomile is unique - cannot buy anywhere. Really recommend this place.

My husband likes ports so if you like ports this is the place, they have a great selection of wines and ports a little bit of everything to please your palate. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. The guests here are fun.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place before! We've found PasoPort during our first trip to Paso in March of 2018. They have been another favorite since then. We joined the Port Club this past March, because no one does port, as well as, PasoPort. This past trip we brought friends and introduced them to both the port and the wine. They bought two bottles of port and a white wine. The atmosphere is friendly and casual with beautiful views all around. This is a MUST visit whenever we visit Paso.

Slightly out of the way, rustic winery and distillery. Don’t let the narrow dirt road or rough-looking front fool you - hiding behind the front of the building is a cozy tasting room and a beautiful patio overlooking the oak valley below. Five tastes aren’t enough here, as you’ll want to sample all of the wines, ports, and spirits, and all of them range from very good to outstanding. The wines are made with finesse. I really liked the high end Cabernet, complex, fruity, and very drinkable now. The ports are all very good, the Tawny Port should be excellent with aging. The distilled products are what sets this place apart and worth going for. My favorite is easily the Amaro Liqueur, which starts with a fruity, spicy nose and finishes with a long, satisfying aftertaste, giving you plenty of time to think about all the things you could spike with some Amaro. Very friendly service. Dog friendly. Would be five stars but for the small parking area. Tasting room and patio is accessible if you can drop off at the front of the building. I’d recommend calling ahead for an appointment and let them know if you need the spot.

Family owned and run, Winery and Distillery. High quality wines, port wines and spirits. They have everything hidden between Templeton and Paso Robles... If you are a fan of Port wine, please look no further than Pasoport. My goodness, these are delicious wines! The customer service is excellent and friendly! The wine club definitely makes you feel welcomed, with a personalized card. Also the artwork on the bottle labels are divine. They make it more than just top notch Port wine, it's an experience! OK, so the wine is good, it was some really good Zins. Among my favorites of the week. Room is small, but did have some outside seating. Owner was rocking a Trump 2028 hat, so that could affect if some go there or not. The wine is good though, and you can tell the owner loves making wine.

Frank: Just opened 2018. Cork was questionable. I couldn’t believe how smooth with cherry notes. Loved it!!! Susie and I miss you Frank and Bob. We hope to be there at Thanksgiving. Miss coming over for the weekend, but too far from Idaho! Keep up the great wines!

Convinced this is the best Zinfandel I’ve ever had. Frank was extremely knowledge and passionate, I’m so glad I stopped in. Will definitely be coming back on my next trip to Paso!

My wife and I went there over the President's Day weekend on a lead from another winery down the street. We did not have a reservation, but we took a chance to see if we could do a tasting because we love zin. Frank was there with another gentleman doing a tasting with a small group of about five people. We know that they saw us and we waited for about 10 minutes. There was no one else there. Neither Frank nor the other gentleman ever acknowledged our presence. We do not know why. Maybe we needed a reservation? Needless to say, we were very disappointed. When I read all of the other reviews, I do not doubt that the wine and ambiance are probably great. I am just unsure why it was different for us? Would be willing to try again, but will probably try a reservation this time as I would not want to make the trip from Sacramento again just to be ignored. Regardless of this disappointment, I wish Frank all the best.

I have been going to Zin Alley for 20+ years!! Love Frank and Bob!!! Best Port Ever!!!! Will be visiting next month in June! Can't wait!

I have been drinking their wine in one form or another (Pesenti) for the better part of 30 years. Good people and they are friendly and laid back. They treat my daughter who is 6 like a person, not like an inconvenience like other tasting rooms. We visit every Thanksgiving week and will continue to do so until the big corporations finally buy up all the water and the little guys are forced to close. Boycott Justin.

All of their wines were outstanding, but a little out of my budget. $5 for a wine tasting as well, which was kind of expensive considering they only have 4 wines (Rotta winery for example $5 tasting and 13 wines). We visited 7 wineries that day and Zin Alley definitely had the best wines.

This was a very personal and unique wine tasting experience provided by the owner in his private estate home. The wines were outstanding, they were very delicately balanced between fruit, acidity and tannins. The owner was hospitable and presented his guests with a large charcuterie board. The charcuterie board had a quail eggs with small pickled pepper on top of the of the egg, an assortment of cheeses, prosciutto, chorizo sausage, and so many other delicious nuts and olives to enhance the wine. I forgot to mention that the bread and the Parmesan cheese and homemade olive oil was incredible.The owner explained how the wine was cultivated and it was his life’s passion. I would highly recommend Guyomar to anyone who visits Paso Robles.

Guyomar Wine Cellars is an amazing experience. Wonderful wines, Ishka insights into making wine makes it a have to do experience if you going to be in the area. Can't recommend them enough!!

The most exquisite tasting I've ever experiencing. Tastings take place in Ishka's gorgeous hilltop residence which could easily be mistaken for a south east asian museum. Tastings are intimate, educational, and Ishka's knowledge is second to none. Most importantly, the quality of wine is impeccable. Each release has been intentionally farmed and there are no weak performers. I especially loved the Editor and the Prioress.

Excellent in every way. Including the dogs. Highly recommend scheduling a wine tasting.

What a great concept. I had the cheeseburger and it was good. I know the idea here is healthy food but if they put corn dogs and fried burritos back on the menu I would give them 5.5 stars! :-)

Solid and well priced. During July they have a 10 dollar cheese burger combo w/ an extra topping. Outdoor seating in the front and back which makes for a nice atmosphere, they also have a dining ‘shed’ if you’d rather eat air conditioned. Burger was solid, nothing to rave about other than it’s just good. Wouldn’t say the meat stands out in anyway but still nice they’re focusing on local and sustainable. Fries were some of the best I’ve ever had; a nice layer of crispy but not too crunchy outside, and super fluffy and not dried out inside, seems to be seasoned with seasoning salt rather than plain salt if you’re into that. Though the size seemed more akin to a kids size fries. They forgot to remove pickles even though I was one of two others there, but nothing a quick dissecting can’t do, but others may be annoyed since the pickle taste would still be there. I would come back if I was along the way and would choose it over In-N-Out, which might be a controversial statement in California but take that for what you will.

We've been here several times since moving to Templeton 6 months ago. Some of the best fries you'll ever have are here. Also liked their salads and chicken tenders sandwich. Burgers are usually good and love the local grass fed theme. Unfortunately today their burgers weren't good. My wife and I both got cheeseburgers and both said the same thing- buns were stale and way too 'bunny'. That's all I was tasting was stale bun. Fries, of course were great!

The Burger Station, which Grassfed used to be, was much better. Even when it became Martin's on Main, they kept most of the Burger Station menu and upped a few details to improve already great food. Now, they are trying too hard, priced too high ($45 for 3 burgers, 2 fries, 3 drinks!), introduced weird flavors (and I'm a foodie), with no kids menu. They've lost the pulse of Templeton and I don't think this is a successful formula. However, service was great and ingredients were quality. Bring back the goodness of the original food, please...

These hamburgers used to be so very good. We got burgers today and they were way smaller and overcooked from the last time we visited. Both burgers had very little seasoning, were overcooked and dwarfed by the huge bun. Not sure we'll return again.

Grassfed is a classic roadside burger stand, but subtly elevated in every way. Expect delicious, just-the-right sized burgers made with grassfed (obviously) beef, actual fresh toppings, and homemade sauces on a soft brioche bun. Reasonable prices, great fries, plus a few picnic tables in the back.

Tried out the new place, great seeing they kept the previous staff. Really enjoyed my burger, very fresh and just the right amount of pink in the patty. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience. Incredible service with the friendly and helpful Blake. Beautiful location, lots of pleasant seating choices and amazing wines. We ended up purchasing and would recommend to anyone wanting a wonderful experience and some terrific wines.

We had the most wonderful wine tasting at mid point winery. We brought our dog, and we were warmly welcomed to a table out in the patio. The host, Blake, is knowledgeable and professional. He took his time to explain the history of the winery, of the Paso Robles wine growing region, and each wine served (as each of the mid point wines has a story behind it). Truly a hidden gem of a boutique winery in Paso Robles.

The most wonderful tasting we have been to, the wines were also delicious. Also Blake did a wonderful job explaining to us the stories behind each wine bottle. We had so much fun and we will be definitely comeback 👌👍

We visited Rotta Winery on a recent trip to Paso Robles. It is one of the oldest wineries in California, having been founded in 1908. The winery is set on beautiful grounds with grass and trees. There are vines on the hills all around. There is comfortable seating outside that is spaced out so you will not feel crowded. The tasting room inside is small, but nice and comfortable. Our hosts, Brian and Channing, were super. They took time to describe each wine we tasted as well as to chat and answer questions. The wines were good. I especially liked the Zinfandel and the dessert wines. We bought several bottles to take with us. Brian and Channing also gave us a lot of good information about restaurants and other places to visit in the Paso Robles area. We had a great time and plan to return soon.

We originally went to Midpoint a month ago. Blake was such an amazing host. My cousins and friends had a trip to Paso and decided that they wanted to go wine tasting. On my list was Mid point since our first time there with Blake was a blast. He had been such a great story teller to every wine he poured. So the day came and we went and I knew he would deliver. Everyone wanted to take him with them to continue wine tasting. They all enjoyed his company and stories. They really loved Blake and the wine. Thank you for hosting all 10 of us and giving all of us a great wine tasting experience.

A really nice find off route 46 and an added bonus as this place is both a distillery and winery. Found this on the SLO Distillery Trail map which is so cool! The spirits were great especially the Nocino and Orange liqueurs. The Nocino was a real treat as it has a walnut, cinnamon and clove flavor which was very unique. The Orange Muscat brandy was also a real treat. The wines all were great, especially the Syrah and Primitivo. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable, spending time sharing the history of the winery as well as going over the origins of each of the wines and spirits in detail. It is well worth doing a tasting of both the wines and spirits while enjoying the stunning view from the patio.

Wines are amazing and unbelievably well priced. Especially loved the rosé, had to get a bottle for myself! The view here is absolutely stunning. We brought a deck of cards and loved every minute of our time at Bethel Rd. Blake was awesome and took great care of us :) Bonus points to this place because the owners’ dogs sat with us. This is place is a must-go!! 💘💘💘

We were recommended this place by our hostess from another winery. They do wine tasting which I would skip and liquor tasting. We enjoying tasting different gins, brandy and grappa. Totally worth it.

Pup friendly location with grappa, nocino, gin and brandy to taste. Today was pretty busy but the tasting room attendant did really well spending time with each group AND their pups. He even went to the cellar to grab what we wanted to purchase and came back so quickly! We love the scenic views from this location. Our fave is the walnut nocino. We came up just to refill! Thank you for the great time today!

Great place. Compared to other places around, totally not pretentious and relaxed. Prices are very reasonable and variety offered for tasting includes spirits. Will definitely come back again.

My dad and I visited here and were immediately met outside by the most delightful docent named George. He was a wonderful host and very informative. He made every effort to answer our questions and was very accommodating. He took great care to every detail. My dad and George were swapping stories and reminiscing about growing up in California. I loved hearing their memories. The museum itself is quite charming, with many local artifacts and photos. A beautiful flower garden surrounds the area. There is so much to see in what at first appears to be a small place. So many beautiful antiques. There is a lot of wonderful history here. I highly recommend this gem.

Great little museum, and much more than meets the eye. There are a few buildings with well-curated displays and antique vehicles. But the best part was how knowledgeable and friendly the volunteer docents, Steve and Jim, were. This was an afternoon well spent.

One of our favorite smaller wineries off the beaten path. Leslie and Victor are the wonderful hosts that make you feel comfortable and serve you world class wine. Well worth the trip that far out of town, highly recommended.

One of the finest wineries out there! A small family winery, with Vic & Leslie Roberts crafting gold medal winners. Don't be afraid to call them and set an appt for tasting their wonderful wines, as they are busy tending to their winery and will gladly open their tasting room if they are around and know someone is coming. They are also very reasonably priced compared to others in the area.

Victor Hugo is a great winery. We love all of their wines. Enjoyed a great tasting outside today. They did a great job of distancing, masks etc as appropriate. Can't say enough good about this place. Add it to your list of must visit wineries.

I happen to stop for coffee at the little shop in Creston when I bought this lotion as well. I tested it and I liked it so I bought a bottle I finished the bottle I absolutely love it. What I love the most is the pure natural ingredients. I'm so happy that this family member decided to continue making this home recipe lotion. In my opinion, it's the best!!!! I can't wait to go to Creston, grab my coffee and stock up.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The food and service are both off the charts. Reservations required and recommend booking well in advance. The wine list is impeccable and expansive, and Marc the host is incredibly knowledgeable with recommendations based on food ordered. The escargot and oysters were great on our last visit, as were the peach Melba and rice pudding desserts. Dinner specials rotate and haven't had a bad one yet.

An amazing experience at BL Brasserie! We had just arrived in Paso Robles after a long drive from Healdsburg—and needless to say, I was hangry. We wandered around downtown Paso looking for something that sounded good, but nothing was hitting the mark. On our way back to the car, feeling a little defeated, we passed by BL Brasserie, glanced at the menu, and kept walking. But the smells coming from the restaurant literally stopped me in my tracks—they drew me back in. We were seated immediately and warmly greeted by multiple people. It feels like they work as a team rather than assigning one specific server, which made the service feel seamless and attentive. Marc is an absolute gem—his lovely French accent made it feel like we were dining in a charming Parisian bistro. He offered thoughtful recommendations, and everything we tried was spot on. The burrata salad was fresh, and the burrata itself was outstanding. The salad was a bit overdressed, but that didn’t stop us from devouring it. I ordered the crispy risotto with crab and shrimp—so good! My husband had the gnocchi and thoroughly enjoyed it. And the beignets—oh my. We already love beignets, but these were next level with a surprise apple crème filling. The soft pastry and light cream inside made every bite a delightful surprise. If you're in Paso Robles, don’t hesitate to add this wonderful spot to your list. You won’t be disappointed!

Found this amazing Gem on a corner of downtown Paso. Stumbled in just for a quick bit and ended up cancelling our other dinner plans. The service was exquisite!!! The wine, the oysters , the quail was breath taking. The quail was so delicate, crispy and covered in a sauce I can only describe as savory Carmel. The beef tartare. Oh the beef tartare!!!!! Can’t wait to come back to Paso and spend many more nights at their 4 person bar.

It was VERY DELICIOUS ! I would definitely recommend this place if you want to try a really delicious food. Do not expect huge portions, do not expect cheap vines, but you can expect a high quality evening. Or lunch. It’s not a Michelin type of serving, it’s just a nice ambient, great chief and food!

This place is authentic French cuisine! From the foi gras to the entrees, it was just amazing taste and freshness plus cooked perfectly! The wine list is awesome!! C'est magnifique!!

We got to this place last minute, they were nice to accommodate our big group, the service and attitude of the server was great but the food was very average, it lacked the flavor , the very basic mango salad was made out of literally raw mangoes , with too much cabbage,it was so bad , the rest of the food was the same . This was my $29 Thom Kha shrimp soup. You have to be kidding me. It wasn't even very good. How dare you charge someone almost $30 to be delivered this "cup" of hardly anything? Shame on you Basil. You used to be a good restaurant. What happened??

I have been enjoying Basil for years. I have also been meaning to write a review for years- they have been so good for so long! Their food is fresh, clean and the flavors really pop. They do a great job with spice level requests and the kitchen always sends out delicious food quickly and hot! They also have vegetarian and vegan options so that helps when I hang out with my veggie-loving friends.

Nice Thai food restaurant. Staff were pleasant and friendly. We ordered the shrimp dumplings, Panang curry with chicken and Green curry with chicken. The flavors were typical for a a Thai restaurant and appropriately spiced consistent with our request. The place got busy and we were handed our check and told there was no hurry but we were not asked if we wanted dessert. Overall a good meal.

Delicious Thai Cuisine, Lovely Environment. PROS: The food was excellent and served in very aesthetically-pleasing ways. The staff and service was great; they were helpful, accommodating to a changing reservation, and treated us well/attentively the entire time. The place was busy, but we never waited long for anything. And the overall atmosphere is nice, given the decor and arrangement. CONS: It was busy (Mother's Day/Sunday), so it was perhaps hard to hear over the volume of other voices at times - but not enough to sway from eating at the establishment. ((Two Thumbs Up)).

Incredible atmosphere and great service, got seated fast and got our order in quick. All the food came out at relatively the same time and it was all really good. We had the Thai sampler and every item on there was good! I ordered the Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the spice level was great, flavor was there, but maybe the chicken was a little dry. Overall satisfied with what I got but, it is on the more expensive side for most main entrees compared to $10-20 range of other spots; this place is $15-25

Freaking awesome Thai food. This place is very very clean. The food has that spicy Thai taste you look forward to in dining on excellent Thai food. It's also located downtown Paso right at the park. Parking can be a pain but the food is worth the drive and parking space search or wait. If you enjoy Thai food look no further. Staff here are also very friendly and on time without having to ask for water or soy sauce or whatevs you need. The menu is also very simplified which makes ordering quick and easy. Check it out if your in the north county.
