Wellsboro in 1 day

If you only have 1 day to spend in Wellsboro, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Wellsboro offers a classic small-town atmosphere, with gas-lit streets, Victorian-style storefronts, and a walkable downtown anchored by the historic courthouse and Green. Just outside town lies Pine Creek Gorge, often called the “Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania,” with overlooks at Leonard Harrison and Colton Point State Parks. Visitors come for hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing along the Pine Creek Rail Trail, as well as seasonal events that highlight the region’s rural and historic character.
With favorites like The Green, Native Bagel, and Red Skillet, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like The Main Street Creamery and Café 1905 so you can get the best taste of Wellsboro while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

I mean seriously who doesn't love the Pennsylvania Grand canyon? There are so many trails and so many amazing vistas, I've been going here for years and still find new stuff every time I visit. The amount of wildlife that's visible on this trail is truly special as well as how well maintained all the trails and the canyon are.

Rode our bikes utilizing the Darling Run access. Went to Tiadaghton Access and stopped for lunch. So beautiful and quiet. Drive through Colton state park and stopped at several vistas which are not that well marked from the road but I would suggest getting out at the pavilions and taking the trail to the rim of the canyon. Beautiful views.

We hiked down to the lower part , it was beautiful . Definitely a beautiful time of the year . There are bathrooms and a gift shop at the main look out . They keep the areas very clean , there is a campsite , magnified telescopes to look out over the mountains . Recommend heading there to get the best colors first /second week in October.

We visited the PA Grand Canyon during the fall season, and it was absolutely beautiful! The fall colors were stunning vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellowing & with green everywhere. We really enjoyed the trail walks and spending time near the waterfront areas with a few lovely waterfalls along the way. It’s a peaceful and scenic place, perfect for hiking, photography, or just relaxing in nature. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in Pennsylvania, especially in the fall! 🍁

I'm not sure I would drive 3.5 hours to get here again, anytime soon, but it was worth the trip to see. And would be pretty amazing to plan a weekend or something in the area. Great staff at the park, not a lot of people, but the main two trails are rather short. There is a rails to trail path where you could walk a long distance and may be the better way to experience the park and surrounding area.

Beautiful scenery, made for great photos. Walk up from the otter spot was very steep & had to take breaks on the way back as I am still receiving Cancer treatments. Although we didn't see any otters it was still a very nice hike & I am proud of myself.

We visited both Parks at the Grand Canyon of Pa. Colton Point State Park has limited parking but has a great view of Pine Creek. The Lenard Harrison State Park has camping and a new visitor center, handicap parking is available. The views of the gorge are beautiful and there are trails from the viewing platform.

Very scenic area. Lots of wildlife. Trails can be VERY steep so plan accordingly. There is an awesome visitor center and overlook too.

Park
Rugged trails, campsites & picnic tables are features of this canyon park with fishing & hunting.
Colton Point is on the West side of the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. A little more out of the way than Leonard Harrison on the East. Like the North Side of The Grand Canyon, it is more rustic, less visited, and has more and better vistas. You can easily identify the large vista at Leonard Harrison from here, but I didn’t see the vistas here from that side. (Though we visited the other side first, so it could be different if I had started here.) We didn’t stay at this campground, but the sites are much farther from each other, preferable if you love peace and privacy. Most sites are very well laid out, with well-constructed tent bases, made of railroad ties and sod/grass, plus spots for large campers. This campground has mature trees and less sunlight. Bathrooms are older and more rustic too. It has four big pavilions, that are beautiful. The views from the vistas are amazing. It takes longer to get to various access points on the rail-trail path from here than from the other park too.
Scott R — Google review
Beautiful old school state park, well kept. Turkey path was great hike down into the gorge, with views of a lovely waterfall. We also did the Rim trail, which connects some tremendous vistas - it just took us awhile to figure out that the Rim trail was actually a loop, and different from the West Rim trail which is not a loop. Overall, a fantastic time there!

This park is loaded with trails. The Colton point side of the canyon is a true state park. You just have nature and nature activities to do. There is so much hiking so many beautiful views in the park is well maintained with great roads and lots of parking. There is also plenty of trash cans and outhouses to use.
Jeremy B — Google review
This is a really great park that I definitely recommend visiting. There are tons of trails that you can hike, and plenty of pavilions for barbecues and parties. I didn't see any places to dispose of hot coals though. Anyways, this place is worth having its own journey. Hope you have fun like I did!
Twilight_Lupine S — Google review
I hiked the rim trail - it was advertised as 1 mile but it was definitely 1.5 miles and some parts are not labeled and very muddy. All the 3 overlooks on the rim trail are reachable by car and have parking spots nearby, so you can drive to see it instead of hike it. In my opinion, the first overlook when you first get to the park is really the only good one worth a picture. There is no park office and no spot to get a stamp in your passport. You need to drive to Leonard Harrison for the stamp. I drove around looking, but hopefully I can save someone else the time. The campground looked primitive with boxes to put your tent, and you pay by the honor system: envelope in a locked box.
Ania B — Google review
I was visiting from New York just for 2 days, one night. It is super pretty, however I will say its not very well marked as for what trails are where. When I was driving down, I had no idea where to go, so I just chose a spot on the western side of the canyon. I soon found out that there was only a trail down to the bottom of the canyon and then interweaving trails closer to the northern end of the gorge. My first day was just me guessing at where I thought I wanted to go. My AirBnb was on the eastern side of the gorge, so I drove over there later in the day. I found out that that side is the more touristy area, which is the side that everyone gets pictures on, and I also believe it has the 7-mile trail (don't quote me, as you can tell I was confused this whole trip lol). I didn't get to do any trails on the eastern side, just take pictures of the canyon. Overall, I might visit again with my parents to show them around, but it's definitely not a place you can spend more than two days at.

This is a great viewing area of Pine Creek Gorge. My favorite spot. Across the road is a spot to park several cars. From the parking area you can walk the short trail that takes you to a port-a-pot.

Nature & Parks
Hiking area
This park encompasses the east rim of Pine Creek Gorge & offers hiking, camping, fishing & hunting.
My son and I camped three nights at Leonard Harrison, the more developed of the two State Parks on either side of the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. Definitely the better campground if your whole family isn’t into roughing it. Very well-maintained park with very friendly staff. Just ask & they’ll give you as much helpful information as you want. Bathrooms are modern (my wife would call the one at the campground adequate, although my son and I considered it luxurious) with hot water and showers, plus a separate dish washing sink, all thoroughly cleaned each morning. The visitors’ center is a worthwhile and fun stop with good info for experienced outdoorsmen and children.

Love what they did to the entrance, parking area, and visitor center since the last time we were here. The center was closed since we were there late in the day. Closed at 5pm. Plenty of parking on the upper and lower lots. Views of Pine Creek Gorge (PA Grand Canyon)!were wonderful. Pictures are of the upper lot. Bathrooms in the upper parking lot and entrance way to the gorge (toward left of building). They are older but were clean. Worth the drive if in Wellsboro area.

Best park I've been to in PA! The views are amazing, the hike is challenging but very fun and the campground was super clean. This is a wonderful place that everyone who enjoys the outdoors should visit!

Beautiful park to really take in all the views of the canyon. There’s a really nice observation deck that gradually lowers into other deck areas so you can get a full view at all different angles.

One of our favorite spots in Northern Pennsylvania. This Tioga county grand Vista is absolutely amazing. As you look over the thousands of acres of State Park and watch the leaves blow up following the canyon draft, it’s absolutely amazing. with facilities for every need, lots of hiking trails, a visitor center with excellent bathrooms. This is one of our favorite places.
John S — Google review
Beautiful area, there are tons of trails and the views go on for miles. It was a little hazy when we went so I felt like there wasn't as much perspective depth but we still loved it. Very accessible at some points and we will be back soon. Do a little research first to figure out where you want to start but the options are plentiful.
M J — Google review
This is a free park so I can't be too upset with some of the changes they made. However the parking lot changes where they chop down all of the trees around the parking lot and change the layout of the parking lot and move all the parking a little bit further away from the park was in my honest opinion a poor decision. I don't know if there's new management there or what, but even the gift shop seems lesser and I'm not sure if there's even possible to get any kind of drinks or snacks up there. Every time I go I can't get anything to drink from like a booth. There used to be a wonderful food truck here that sold Maple related products and maple syrups, however the management here decided they did not want to renew the contract so that's not even an option anymore and to me that was kind of like one of the little highlights of this park. A couple years ago this park was absolutely amazing wonderful and perfect but now I feel like something else has changed, whether it be new management or a change in the times but this isn't what it used to be. There are some great well-maintained trails here especially the turkey trail and the overlook trail is pretty good as well. I feel like they need to cut back some of the trees that are up near the viewing platform so you can see more of the surrounding area.

The Green

Park
The Green is a well-maintained and beautiful park located in the charming town of Wellsboro. Visitors can enjoy the sight of people dressed in formal attire from the Charles Dickens era, adding to the historic charm of the place. The park features old-fashioned gaslights, a statue/fountain called Wynken, Blynken, and Nod, as well as other memorials.
Google didn't record that I visited Wellsboro. But I did. And darn glad that I did. For being a small town they have a nice hospital, a vibrant, robust business area, and a 4-screen vintage movie theater. People say hi to you on the street, and all the business owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. This is small town done right, and I didn't see a bad section. This would be a great place to retire to.

Very relaxing and well shaded little Park. Sometimes I like to come by here and just take a little nap on the benches. Something about the shade, the quietness of wellsboro and the fountain make it just a nice little place to catch a quick nap. There are a few bits of History in this park if you take the time to walk around it and see everything.

The Green is a beautiful small gem of a park and worth the trip. We took a leisurely walk around before heading to dinner.

A beautiful small park. Being from out of town we were looking for a nice place to sit and take a break. We enjoyed the scenery and watched cars go by while playing cards. They do have power which we used to recharge a cell phone. Would definitely come back !

A beautiful park space set in the center of the quaint town of Wellsboro. Was particularly colorful during October. In June the Laurel Festival takes place at The Green. A Juried Arts & Craft show with many food vendors and live music. Plus a parade and crowning the Laurel Festival Queen.

Just prior to sunset, on a warm summers night... I enjoy sitting on one of the benches there, and letting out a huge cry. I then ride my bike home before it gets dark. Tonight I rewarded myself with a chunk of Cadbury dark chocolate. I feel pretty good after all that. This thing was next to me while I sat, I named him Rick. He listened to everything I needed to talk about :)
Tricia — Google review
Beautiful, well maintained park in the middle of town. The Wynken, Blynken, and Nod statue/fountain in the middle of the park is not to be missed. There are a number of other memorials on site as well. The old-fashioned gaslights located throughout the park and town really add to the historic charm!
Jarryd B — Google review
This was our 1st time visiting there and we had an idea of what we were to see and experience. The very 1st thing I saw were these 4 ladies dressed in formal outting attire from the Charles Dickins era. They were gorgeous!!! From the hats they wore to the dress, coat and muffs they carried, distinguished from head to toe! There were quite a few people that were dressed that way. Each outfit was just as nice as the next one. Although there was a man dressed as a chimney sweep that looked authentic. People everywhere, vendors all down the street. All the shops were open. The smells of the food being prepared in the air...awesome!!! The feel of Christmas in everyone's mind of an era gone by, took you back to a time where you wanted be. It was cold that day and it didn't seem to matter. We were in a time that was meant to be. People were so friendly, all you had to say was hi and a conversation took place.

The Arcadia Theatre, located in Wellsboro, PA, is a historic 4-screen cinema and performing arts venue that has been entertaining locals and tourists since the 1920s. This Art Deco treasure offers first-run films and hosts live theatrical shows, including local musical productions. The theater has been well-preserved and updated over its 100-year history, making it a must-visit for those interested in old architecture.
Beautiful vintage theater, delicious buttered popcorn, great staff and the best part is a reasonable price for the movie and refreshments! 🍿🥤🥰👌🏻 Mike... you're the best! 😁👍🏻

I had a wonderful time at this theater, I went and saw Megan 2.0 and I was in a much smaller viewing area but it was beautiful nonetheless. The staff here was very friendly and helped me figure out where to park. In case you are curious the hotel next door owns the movie theater also so you can actually park in the hotel parking lot I confirm this with a manager at the penn well's hotel. The restrooms are clean, the theater was clean, and I had a great experience here.

Everything was great! Movie started on time. Can’t beat the price. Took one star away just because there were a lot of quiet parts in the movie, appropriately, and you could hear the sound from the other movies. For eight dollars, though it was good! Just hope they fix the hole in the screen in theater 3 soon!

This was a really cool little theater! My husband and I went to see Killers of the Flower Moon during our weekend away and it was the perfect end to a perfect day. They really did a nice job preserving the feel of this small theater and keeping it alive! We were excited to be able to have somewhere to see this movie while we were away in a place we didn’t think we would have access to a movie theater.

My husband and I were visiting Wellsboro after going to the grand canyon of Pa...we were outside sitting after getting Starbucks and I struck up a conversation with Mike. He told us all about the theater and gave us a tour of it. It was fascinating to see so much history in an 102 year old movie theater. Next time we're there we will definitely catch a movie! Thanks Mike for being so friendly and the tour and all the info about the theater!!

Nestled in the heart of Wellsboro, the Wellsboro Diner is a charming throwback to classic American dining. With its vintage diner car-style interior, it serves up a delightful menu featuring hearty breakfasts and mouthwatering sandwiches that are sure to satisfy any appetite. This historic eatery has been part of the community since 1939 and adds to the nostalgic ambiance of Main Street, which boasts an array of other historic structures dating back as far as 1835.
Loved this unique dinner! It was busy but the staff got us seated and served quickly! We were on a time limit and they accommodated us in a friendly way. Drank our coffee which was very good. Took our sausage, egg, cheese sandwiches to go. Thank you for the delicious breakfast and your hospitality!

Arrived to a pack house that said, it didn’t take to long to get a table. As for a restaurant it’s about what you could expect to a mom and pop shop. It was good but not the best I have had. Staff was very friendly but seemed like a side thought. I can’t blame them definitely feel like they could have used one or two extra people the day I was there. I would go back, would like to see it on a less busy day. Last thing, is the main restaurants very narrow for the walk way, don’t think it’s big enough to hold as many as it had in there

My breakfast I rated a '3.' One piece of toast, eggs; ordered soft scrambled- were greasy, the corned beef, incredibly salty--I like dark on outside, not burnt. My homefries; not the usual sautéed, were cubes & actually deep fried. So, I was truly Disappointed. We have been coming to Wellsboro for 25 years. The FOOD was always a '5.' Currently the staff were busy & efficient. The floors & the diner ceiling-- sparkling & Shiney, as always...

Visited Wellsboro Diner the morning following 1000 miles of motorcycling on the Cross Pennsylvania Adventure Trail with 4 other friends and 2 teenagers. This was my 2nd time, having visited with my girlfriend, my twin sons and a good friend in 2013 for my son's upcoming 21st Birthday . Breakfast was outstanding! Service was the best! I look forward to returning in the future for pie, which from my visit in 2013 was extraordinary!

We got there an hour before closing, the seats were full, and the staff was exhausted. Friends of ours slid over and we sat with them. Food came out within 15 minutes of ordering and was delicious. However, the staff voiced out loud several times they were done, exhausted, out of food items, and they locked the doors 25 mins early. I felt for them, however, it didn't make anyone feel welcome or comfortable to eat there. Let alone ask for a refill on my coffee. However, I did...a few times. Finally, my delicious diner coffee was refilled, we finished our meal, left and still gave a generous tip. I'm praying that using kindness was extended towards those around them.

The Main Street Creamery is a must-visit spot in Wellsboro, offering a diverse menu that includes soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, seafood, and delectable desserts. The restaurant also caters to kids with an exciting menu. Visitors rave about the vegan ice cream option made from coconut milk which is described as delicious. The friendly staff provides excellent service and the charming indoor, outdoor, and porch seating options make for a delightful experience.
This place has the best ice cream in the game. Honestly I have tried so many of the flavors here and never once have I been disappointed. Everything is made with such care and the staff that they have working here are always so delightful and friendly and they seem like they genuinely enjoy helping you pick out your ice cream. I am telling you if there is one place in wellsboro to stop at it is this ice cream parlor.

Atmosphere- 4 stars- located in an old stately two story house on Main Street- this ice cream shop claims to have Homemade Ice Cream. Beautiful inside with hardwood floors and a feel of early 20th century America. There is an old fashioned soda bar in a separate room and ofcourse the ice cream parlor in an adjacent room. Some seating inside or you could sit outside on the front porch and people watch. Service- 3 stars- young lady behind the counter was friendly but when you pay she flips the payment screen and says if you want to leave a tip you can. This is a pet peeve of mine to be constantly expected to tip and I find it inappropriate to basically ask for one. Food- 4 stars- not sure if this is actually Homemade ice cream but either way it was still really good. I got the salted caramel Kit Kat which I have never seen. I enjoyed it while sitting out on the front porch.

They don't charge you for the aromatherapy you receive by walking into this place. It is heavenly. The staff are wonderful: courteous, friendly, and prompt. The interior js filled with warm natural wood tones and comfy places to sit. I felt like I was in a day spa instead of getting ice cream. The ice cream was delicious: well balanced, not too hard, generous portions. I happily ruined my appetite for "real lunch food"- sometimes, as adults, these are the choices we make. Flavors tried: strawberry cheesecake & butterfinger. We did not get to try the floats (pictured) but we really wanted to!

Very good ice cream! Unique flavors and they have samples! Plenty of seating. I went on a weekday and the wait time was minimal. Very happy with PB butterfinger, chocolate and strawberry ice creams. They went a little heavy on the sauce and toppings kinda ended up with a banana soup instead of a banana spilt but it was still delicious!

Forgot pictures! Sorry. The ice cream was excellent, nothing too crazy flavor wise. I enjoyed Moose Tracks which had a lovely caramel stripe throughout in a fresh, crunch waffle cone. Hubby had a maple ice cream which he said hit the spot. Definitely worth the stop! The building is one of the many well maintained old homes in Wellsboro.

I KNOW I KNOW...it seems really weird to post a picture of the toilet but I got your attention. They have the CLEANEST bathroom. They are super nice and the ice cream and other treats are simply the best. Don't pass this place up. So so good

Ice cream is always awesome at the creamery. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy our cones. We had chocolate and salted caramel cone and a strawberry and vanilla cone. We are always met with a smile.

Cafe
Café 1905 is a charming dining spot that offers a diverse menu featuring salads, signature sandwiches, breakfast options, an array of beverages, and freshly-baked treats. Whether you're in the mood for a delightful breakfast croissant paired with freshly-brewed coffee or craving a satisfying lunch like grilled tuna and cheese or turkey, avocado and bacon sandwiches served with tasty macaroni salad, this wonderful establishment has got you covered.
We had great breakfast croissants and coffees before hitting the town. My wife’s ham, egg, and cheese had a monster slice of ham, certainly surprising and wasn’t expected, but tasted great. The bread was fresh and flaky. I had the bacon, egg, and cheese and was also pleased. The macaroons were so good that we went back for seconds. We visited Sunday morning and the attached department store was closed, but it would have been nice to be able to shop through there before leaving town.

Second time here and a great stop for some lunch and shopping. The salads are great but we went for a grilled tuna and cheese and turkey, avocado and bacon. Both served with a simple but tasty macaroni salad. They have an array of coffee offerings but this time iced tea was my choice and it was so good! Great service, great location. Reminds me of the department stores we visited as a child that had places to grab a bite inside. Well done!

Lovely service! While visiting the area I needed good coffee, and was so happy to find that they sold Starbucks coffee. I've had their ham and cheese panini, and their buffalo chicken soup packs some heat and great flavor! My dad had their chicken salad-really was big enough for two. Giant chocolate chip cookies are delicious... And prices are reasonable.

Cute cafe with great lunch options. They also carry Starbucks drink options. We really enjoyed the turkey avocado sandwich and the cookies!

I have been getting coffee from here for a little over a year now, and its always a yummy experience, however this morning Miss Leah made my salted mocha and it was above and beyond how I remember it from last season, do yummy! Great work Leah, great training team!

A nice place to sit down and relax in Dunham’s on Main St in Wellsboro. Food is good and there is a choice of baked goods and Starbucks coffee.

Very disappointed to discover 1905 made our turkey/cheese sandwich using the heel of the bread.
Andrew S — Google review
Coffee's watery, food's overpriced. Not worth it, but it's one of two coffee spots in town, so you're kinda stuck.

Beck's Bistro is a family-friendly restaurant known for its delicious and unique cuisine, making it a great choice for breakfast. Whether you prefer the outdoor seating or the warm interior, you're in for a delightful dining experience. The restaurant offers an inviting ambiance and delectable dishes that keep locals and visitors returning. Its rustic yet elegant decor sets the stage for memorable meals, from casual lunches to romantic dinners.
Fun, good cteative selection on menu that is reasonably priced. The service is friendly and quick and very attentive. I stayed for the trivia night game, and the other patrons were fun and enthusiastic. The town itself is very nice, and Beck's Bistro reflects the quality and community that one sees in the town. While not immediately close to highways, Beck's Bistro is worth the ride for a good meal and a fun break.

Usually food is good or great, I love that sushi is a special here sometimes. However, today I was so disappointed. My roll was mostly rice, and the only thing I tasted was that and the veggies. As you can see in the photo there was a laughable amount of salmon and this is supposed to be a salmon roll! Don’t know what changed. Service was slow, but it was busy. She didn’t ask how I liked my food or I would have told her. Dessert (butterfinger cake) was great. Hoping sushi was a fluke as I hope to try their new menu soon and be back for sushi.

Fantastic experience! Food was fantastic! Highly recommend the brisket quesadilla! Came in last minute, but staff was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating! Worth a visit when you're in Wellsboro! Kirsten & Brittany are the best!

The service here was absolutely terrible. Our waitress was friendly, but nearly completely absent from our table the entire hour and forty-five minutes we were there. Most of that time was spent waiting on our food. We also spent most of that time with empty drinks because no one came around to check on us or refill them. The food on the other hand was fantastic. The menu had a great variety, the presentation was beautiful, and everything was cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself was clean, well maintained, and had a fun feel to it. If it wouldn't have been for the terrible service this would have easily been five stars.

We've had only terrific experiences here. The menu has lots of excellent options, and everything we have ever ordered at Beck's has been really tasty. The brisket quesadillas are our favorite thing on the menu. Their drink menu has lots of good options and cocktails are an affordable price. The servers and owners of the place are welcoming, attentive, kind, and personable. We also love the ambience, especially being attached to the Deane Center and having outdoor seating in warmer months.

We are from Albany NY and had dinner two days on a row as the restaurant was close from the hotel. We had sushi for appetizer, sliders, Korean BBQ tacos and sweet potato gnocchi. Everything was so good! The servers are friendly and nice, the atmosphere has a very contemporary vibe with nice bar and music. If we were near we'd definitely go back!

The food here is delicious. Everything is made fresh including the fries, bread, and chips. The fries are the best fries that my family and I have ever had and they come in mini fry baskets. I had the salmon BLT and I really enjoyed it. There wasn't a long wait on our food. The prices are really good. Our sever was very friendly and was always there when needed. I would definitely come back here again. I recommend. The inside is really clean and kind of a modern rustic feel.

Walking in to the restaurant could not help but notice it was very clean and taken care of. I sat at the bar, the bartenders were very helpful on the recommendations so I Ordered a build your own burger Requested med. and it came out PERFECT Sweet Potato Fries were on point The staff was very nice cannot remember their names. But I do know one of them was in training and she did a fantastic job. Sorry I did not take a picture of My food as I was very hungry and could not wait to eat.

Red Skillet is a cozy and inviting restaurant that offers great food and fast, friendly service. The ambiance is charming with good social distancing measures in place. Visitors rave about the delicious portobello mushroom burger with runny eggs and pesto. The premade grab-and-go salads are also highly recommended for a quick lunch option. For dinner, the high-quality ingredients and generous portion sizes make for an excellent dining experience, complemented by attentive and friendly service.
BLUF - GREAT FOOD, cozy atmosphere, fast and friendly service! We were visiting from out of town and after working up a hard core appetite from mountain biking, we decided to try Red Skillet (and use the Wellsboro Bucks from the Bear Meadows Lodge). Up front- cute cozy ambiance, good social distancing enforced, and friendly customer service. As far as the food, I got the portobello mushroom burger (comes with runny eggs and pesto) and it was DELICIOUS. Ar first, I was surprised with how s small it is but it did a great job filling me up! I got a side of the well-reviewed broccoli salad, great flavors and texture! I tried my husband's local beef burger and MAN that's what beef is supposed to taste like!! Great job sourcing your beef, Red Skillet!! The only thing that would further impress me is if they chose to use more eco-friendly food containers/straws.

This place was fantastic! Quite the selection of beers, excellent food with high-quality ingredients, and a cheesesteak that was totally unique! Shout out to Angie for the excellent service!

Recommended: The skillet dog. Bacon wrapped hotdog with pulled pork bbq, coleslaw, and corn chips. Perfect meal after a hike. They had ~4 outdoor tables and a small selection of beers.

Needed to pickup a suit in town and realized I had not had anything to eat all day. I ended up walking over to Red Skillet due to the lack of a strong signal and read their menu outside, the Local Beef Burger looked like a fit to cure the rumbly in my tumbly. Tremendous choice. Delectable burger, well prepared on a brioche. Not going to lie, looked a little like a hot mess when it came out, but that was quickly quashed when I took a bite and then another, and then realized it was gone. Tip of the hat Red Skillet. Job, well done.

Deliciousness!!! My 20 year old daughter and I have specific diet choices with her being vegan and me needing to be gluten free. They offer many lunch choices that made it hard to decide what to order. We were very pleased with our food, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was great. Hopefully we can return soon.

Great food, great atmosphere, and even better drinks! The prices are beyond reasonable for the quality you get.

Eclectic selection of foods. From Thai to Italian and burgers. Onion soup was excellent. Try the “Adult Milkshake”

I go here regularly for lunch for their premade/grab and go salads - which are always 10/10. But my husband and I also went here for a date night dinner this weekend - another 10/10 experience. The food was delicious with good portion sizes, and same for our cocktails and craft beer option. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Overall a great date night place. We’ll definitely be back!
