Restaurant
The Historic Dimmick Inn is a charming, family-owned bar and eatery located within a historic hotel. It offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with outdoor seating where guests can enjoy American cuisine while being entertained by local music. Visitors have praised the delightful thin-crust pizza from the on-site pizza oven and the Bavarian Pretzel served with smooth cheese. The establishment is also commended for its excellent service and kid-friendly environment.
This past weekend, 7/5/25, we held a small bridal shower for our daughter in the Loft area. It was absolutely amazing. We felt like we had the entire place to ourselves and loved the outside deck area. There were plenty of attentive staff who made sure each detail was taken care of! The food was amazing and we all enjoyed it so much. Thank you for being a facility that takes pride in what you offer and truly want to have happy customers.

We moved to Milford PA eight years ago and visited this charming eatery on a recommendation from a neighbor. From the minute you walk in to the time you leave it is a dining experience from the warm friendly staff to the delicious food right down to most fantastic steak knife you will ever hold in your hand. It’s run by a family that is bursting with kindness from nana down to all the grandkids…beautiful. We stop in frequently and last night my wife and I wanted a small bite so we had the pretzel (my favorite) fish tacos (also, my favorite) and salad with grilled chicken (my wife’s favorite) I was so excited I ate one taco and dug into the pretzel before I took the picture. Highly recommend this restaurant. PS try the Pizza..

Such a great experience! We stopped here for lunch as we were attending an event at Grey Towers, and are glad we did! We ordered a "Pig and Fig" pizza and a smoked trout appetizer. I can't wait to go back! Our server was lovely and attentive as well. We sat by the fireplace, so warm and cozy. Loved this place! Prices were very reasonable too.

Been wanting to come here for years and finally made the time to come. I’ve been missing out for a long time, absolutely fantastic experience. Atmosphere is wonderful and clean, spacious. Bathrooms were spotless. Food was incredible, we started with the soft pretzel appetizer, outstanding. I ordered the Veal Chop special which was delicious. Wife ordered the bucatini pasta which was delicious and the vegetables were very fresh. Service was fast and friendly. Place is a solid 5/5.

Sophia is so awesome, excellent kind and helpful customer service!!! The chain smoking 80 looking-yr old lady at the table outside next to us smoked 7 cigarettes right at the steps in the front by the ash tray on the sidewalk, it was awful. The food & service was great tho! They really do need to have no smoking signs , that is totally unacceptable.

Terrific service. Awesome atmosphere. Delicious mussels, calamari and pig& fig pizza. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant with superb staff.

My wife and I were passing though town and decided to stop by for lunch. Great choice! I ordered the Vegan Beyond Burger was delicious! I believe the chipotle aioli dressing that extra flavor. My wife ordered the Braised Short Ribs and was very HAPPY with her choice. If we ever pass through again, this will DEFINITELY be the first placevwe would choose.
Mike R — Google review
Dinner at the Historic Dimmick Inn was fantastic. The *Fig and Pig* stole the show—perfectly balanced sweet and savory flavors that I’m still thinking about. We sat on the porch beneath candy-striped awnings and soft string lights, which gave the whole evening a warm, welcoming glow. From the attentive service to the charming historic setting, every detail felt thoughtful and relaxed (though there is a lot of bustling traffic—which fades if you’re in good company). If you’re anywhere near town, treat yourself to the Fig and Pig and linger under those lights—it’s the kind of meal and atmosphere you’ll want to savor long after the last bite.

Mexican restaurant

Restaurant
Tequila Sunrise is a Mexican restaurant located in Milford, on the east side of Hartford. Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior transports you to a small Mexican village with its decor and music. The owner, Jacob, also serves as the head chef and provides a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
We had a Burrito, soft tacos and Chicken Borracho and everything was super fresh and delicious 😋. the place was very traditional in all its aspects what makes you feel in Mexico. The tortillas are the best of all, freshly made at the restaurant!
Chilixification — Google review
Best Mexican food and I can tell it is all freshly made. I ordered the Chimpachanges and it so tasty. I had both the chicken and beef. Love the yellow rice and beans. If you are not a big eater you should share this because it is quite a big plate at a very reasonable price. The only downside is no water served. Bring your own water. Get the chips to share. And if you ask for non spicy they will made it that way.
Gilbert A — Google review
This was such a treat. The food was delicious. The meats had the Mexican authentic flavor. It almost brought me to tears because I could taste my abuela's (grandma) food through his food. Jacob Hernandez and his daughter were so nice to us. We will be back when we visit.

I’ve been here twice and the food was amazing both times. Love a good chili rellenos plate! Service was super friendly and efficient. Highly recommended if you’re looking for real, authentic, quality Mexican food!
Clayton L — Google review
You always hear, don't judge a book by it's cover.... well the same goes for this place. It's small and nothing fancy. But what the lack in appearance, they more than make up with the staff and food. Super friendly staff makes you feel welcomed. And the California Steak Burrito was the best burrito I've had a a very long time!
Mike C — Google review
Stopped here on a beautiful day and as it was so nice I ate outdoors at the covered tables. Excellent selection of dishes. I had the chili relleno and found a bit of heat (spice) within. I'll be returning to try another meal soon. Very friendly staff. Good portions and value.
Mark J — Google review
Small place but their food is oh so delicious. Large groups (8 or more) should call ahead for seat availability, order takeout, or eat outside. Fresh, made-to-order guacamole and chips. The shrimp tacos were sooooo good!
Cherilyn K — Google review
You haven't had real Mexican food until you've eaten at Tequila Sunrise. I eat lunch here at least twice a week because it is that good. I've come to know the owner, Jacob, pretty well now and he's very friendly and open with his storied past. Walking into the place for the first time, you will likely have a lot of thoughts like I did. But, as they say, don't judge a book by its cover. Dining in, you'll feel like you've all of sudden ended up in Mexico with the decor and music. Bottom line is, if you haven't been here, you really need to get here! You won't be disappointed at all!

I really liked this art gallery. The artists featured there are beyond talented, and everyone's style is so different and unique. You have something for everyone any age there. Not only do they have paintings and sculptures, but they also have cards, jewelry, smaller prints, and homemade bookmarks, which I couldn't pass up. The woman working here was very kind also. The artwork generally changes every month or two, the worker said, so there will always be various different artists and styles featured there. I'd recommend checking it out!

With fresh ingredients like homemade sweet cream and seasonal fruits, each crepe is crafted to perfection, evoking fond memories for patrons. The warm atmosphere and friendly service create a welcoming environment where guests can enjoy their meals while soaking in the charming ambiance reminiscent of days gone by.
What a great place! Food and service was amazing! My sons even got a look at the kitchen by the chef/owner, and he came to the table afterwards and chatted with us! They have created a cool atmosphere in a small space. Thanks for a wonderful experience, we will never forget your hospitality!
Megan D — Google review
The food and service is good but the food is a little dry. They try hard to please customers. They just need more flavor in the crepes and then it would be 5 stars.
Trevour T — Google review
Visited with a friend. The menu is limited and the food was decent. I got the apple and cheese crepe. The flavors were good but they were not really combined. The cheese was in large chunks so it was hard to get all flavors in one bite. While the food was okay, I'm not sure if the quality was there. The atmosphere left much to be desired as well. I do not plan to return.

We went here for Mother's Day and absolutely loved it! Not only is the food delicious, but the ambiance is amazing as well! The owners are so warm and kind that it is difficult not to leave that place with a smile on your face. If you are looking for a place in Milford that still has the old world charm that so many others have abandoned, definitely check this place out! Our family will certainly be returning very soon.

My and my mom's FAVORITE place to eat in town..George and Elizabeth are wonderful, and the crepes are out of this world! We usually go for the sweet crepes, because they remind us of Hungarian crepes my dad used to make years ago...but everything fine the soup to the wonderful service is top notch! Feels like home!

Holy Crepes is a gem. The food is fantastic, certainly on a par with better European eateries. Superb crepes served with either savory vegetables or homemade berry sauce and delicate cream. Delicious soups. All served in a personable atmosphere. Both owners George and Elisabeth are super friendly and attentive so is their stuff. We can't imagine a visit to Milford without stoping at this place.

My wife was upset at home and called me to come home asap. They were making sweet crepes and suggested they make a couple for me to take to her.I took they're advice and returned home stat to my wife. She devoured all three and when I asked what happened to the crepes she replied they were delicious. I realised what terrific products these hard working great people had. They turned my wife's mood to happiness because of the quality of their crepes. If I sound a little biased it's because I am. We've been living in Milford for 17 years and this business and the owners are a terrific addition to this town and area. I love these guys so please come and support them you won't meet any more genuine loving people than them.

I cannot say enough about Holy Crepes! My mom and I stop there monthly, and their sweet crepes are absolutely amazing! Fresh made sweet cream, fresh berries and fruit, and beautifully made crepes that remind me of my fahters. I hadn't had a crepe since he died 101/2 years ago until I met George and Elizabeth. They also have a large selection of yummy savory crepes, and a nice specials board with tasty soups in the cooler weather! Along with the lovely server who works with them are wonderful...and their crepes are even better! Quaint French interior, warm and charming! Best crepes EVER!

Stopped in on a weekend and spent ages looking through all of the antique, interesting things this spot has to offer! I personally LOVE post cards, and there are so many, most of which are filled out with love letters, letters to families, etc. dating back quite a bit. The woman working at the register, I believe she is the owner, was very kind and answered all of our questions happily. Nestled in the charming town of Milford, The Columns Museum of the Pike County Historical Society is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts. Housed in an elegant neoclassical mansion dating back to 1904, this museum showcases a variety of artifacts and artwork that celebrate the rich history of Pike County. A highlight is undoubtedly the Lincoln Flag, stained with President Abraham Lincoln's blood after his assassination—a poignant reminder of a pivotal moment in American history.
Wonderful museum facility and collection! Lori is amazing at helping with research. Visiting Milford and the museum helped develop my family tree vastly beyond researching what is available on-line.

This little local museum was well worth $5 for admission. The docent was friendly and informative. The most impressive piece is the 36 star American flag that Lincoln's head rested on after he was shot.

It was a great honor to visit this museum to pay homage to one of our country's greatest presidents-- President Abraham Lincoln. There are many interesting artifacts and displays about Lincoln and the assassination of him. The flag stained with his blood was, of course, the main display. There are other historical displays in the building. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Dunkin' is a beloved chain known for its signature breakfast offerings and an impressive array of coffee beverages. One standout location has garnered rave reviews, particularly for its delectable donuts that are freshly made on-site. Patrons can't get enough of the cream-filled varieties, which are generously stuffed and simply irresistible. The staff at this Dunkin' go above and beyond to ensure orders are accurate and service is prompt, making it a favorite spot for both food and drinks.
Dunkin never disappoints, especially this location. I usually order some food and a beverage then go next door to The Shop to catch up with the staff or get whatever I need for my vape devices. By the time I'm done checking out, Dunkin has my food and drink ready to go for me. They are fast, friendly, and they keep the joint clean and organized. Tell them Sark sent you 🤘❤️‍🔥

If I could give it no stars I would. First I witnessed the customer in front of me get treated so incredibly rudely. He was asking a couple of questions and the guy behind the counter was getting short with him and rudely hurrying him along like he had something better to do. Then the bagels I ordered were absolutely disgusting, hard as a rock, dry as sand and with barely any cheam cheese on them. 2 bagels, 3 hash browns and 25 munchkins for $25, not worth 25 cents!
Tom M — Google review
Unfortunately, this is my local Dunkin’ Donuts. I go here every single day. I don’t even know why at this point. I guess it’s because I live in the country and there’s nothing else open. If they never get my food, right. My order is not even difficult. It’s just a bagel scooped out with butter. They toast it until it’s basically cremated. I find myself picking off the burnt pieces every morning. The coffee is always on point and that’s the only reason why I keep going back. I would really appreciate if management trained the staff to be a little kinder they really rush people and talk back.
Erica A — Google review
This is the nicest dunkin I have ever been to. The workers are very thoughtful, my order has never been wrong and there donuts are always fresh and baked in store. This is now the only one I will go to
Ashley C — Google review
Absolutely, undoubtedly, the BEST Dunkin I've ever been to. But the donuts... oh those donuts. THE BEST! They make their own, I was told. The cream filled donuts are packed to the brim. It's not your typical Dunkin Donuts. This place is a gem. I drive 20 minutes just for those vanilla creams. I really hope they stay the way they are. So good job everyone! See you soon!
Jake E — Google review
Was there last Sunday and the staff was more worried about helping the people at the drive thru and not the people waiting in the store. I asked for 25 munchkins and the guy just thru them in a bag. I asked him don’t they go in a box and he said no. I told him that was very cheesy that I always got them in a box. It is very embarrassing when you go over someone’s house and hand them a bag of munchkins.
Elizabeth B — Google review
Bought two donuts . The Boston creme was not fresh. The other one was. Wish we hadn't left before biting into what was supposed to be a treat. Two bucks for a stale donut.
E E — Google review
This is usually my favorite Dunkin but the last 2 days have been not so great. I was skimped on my sandwich twice. The first time they forgot the egg and on my makeup sandwich both egg and cheese were missing and there was no mocha syrup in my iced coffee. I'm hoping the usual manager isn't permanently gone and is just on vacation or something because when she's there my order is always perfect.

Diner
The Milford Diner is a classic spot offering traditional diner fare for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a retro setting with colonial decor. It's a popular choice among locals and visitors alike. The diner features large booths, a customary counter with stools, and has expanded to create a more modern atmosphere. While some find the prices slightly high, the menu offers a wide selection of dishes and sandwiches.
I had a fantastic experience at Milford Diner! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. The service was prompt and attentive, making the whole visit smooth and enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh and flavorful. I was especially impressed by the variety of omelets on the menu — so many unique options to choose from, each one better than the next. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. Overall, a great experience all around!

Clean, quiet and friendly with Typical Diner decor and plenty of seating. The portions were large and the service was quick. The food was average - my italian sausage with onions and peppers over rice had been cooked too long or too many times - it was kind of mushy and not very flavorful. To be fair I am basing this review on one item - if I'd had eggs it may have been better tasting. I'd come here again to give them another look (maybe this was an off day). A nice place with nice staff.

This dinner is clean, friendly, with fast service and delicious meals. Stop here for breakfast 🍳I had fried eggs with bacon, grits and toast. I like my eggs fried over hard and they were cook perfectly. Grits were flat wish I had ask with butter or something. Crispy bacon and my whole wheat toast I had it strawberry 🍓 jelly and my coffee. The location is perfect, right off the Main Street with ample parking. It looks crowded but parking lot it’s manageable. Stop by!

Diner food seems to hit the spot while traveling. My partner and I stopped at the Milford Diner on the way to NY and enjoyed our dinner. I ordered an American Cheese Grilled Cheese with Fries, and liked the sandwich and the fries. My partner ordered a Baked Potato with a side dish of Broccoli and thought the broccoli was fantastic with a hint of garlic. Our friends ordered fries and the Avocado Village Salad and enjoyed the fresh vegetables. Overall, great service and the food was fine.

Wow. Great food. The unexpected texture and flavor of the pancakes. Yes, I am a pancake snob and this place is one of my favorite spots. Even the pup enjoyed the visit. I will have breakfast here if I am within the 50-mile radius. Love this place.

I had been in the area a few years ago and stopped here every day to eat. Passing through again this year with friends I was so excited to take them there. We went there today and I was really embarrassed. It took a very long time to get our food and the restaurant was not busy. I ordered the salmon dinner with a baked potato and broccoli and salad. My salmon was way overcooked, my broccoli was cold, the potato was very small. The salad was a good size portion of iceberg lettuce with four cherry tomatoes, and two slices of cucumber and one slice of green pepper. I brought it home. I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with it. My friend ordered trout. She could not even eat it. She said it tasted bad. My other friend ordered the lasagna and he was very disappointed with the flavor and left most of it untouched. So very disappointing.

This was a very clean nice diner. Breakfast all day and tons of food dishes for the grand kids to chose from in kid size portions. Great prices and nice size meals. Even the sides were nice size dishes. Food was very fresh. Will definitely go there again. Included our son in a bday song as the entire restaurant sang to him.

Nestled in the heart of charming Milford, Hotel Fauchère is a delightful blend of history and modern luxury. Established by Louis Fauchere, a renowned chef from the early 1800s, this elegant hotel offers beautifully appointed rooms complete with complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi. Guests can indulge in fine dining at Bar Louis, a stylish speakeasy-style restaurant that serves up delicious cocktails and bites in an inviting atmosphere.
My wife and I stayed at Hotel Fauchère this past Sunday night for a little weekend getaway. What a lovely hotel rich with history. Wonderfully updated and thoughtfully decorated. The service was great and our room was pretty much perfect. Our bed was a bit uncomfortable, but that's us being picky. Our room had a balcony with a fire pit which we took full advantage of despite the chilly night. We had the pleasant surprise of complimentary breakfast the next morning as well which was perfect. We would definitely stay here again when in the area!

We stayed at the Hotel Fauchere for Valentines weekend to celebrate. We recently just had a baby so it was extremely nice to get away without her and relax. We booked a room with a balcony and loved it. The food downstairs was top notch. We will for sure be back.

We went for brunch on Mother’s Day ,This restaurant offers a fantastic brunch experience, from the delicious and creative dishes prepared by Chef Johnny to the attentive service and cozy atmosphere. Great breakfast, lots of good choices and delicious food!my favorite meal was the salmon with dill dream sauce delicious! I highly recommend!!!

Without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. As a very frequent traveler I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and quality in the place. Rooms not cleaned unless to personally ask at the front desk. Breakfast was shocking. NO coffee, overcooked scrambled eggs, limited (2) bread options . Coffee maker would not stop and sent water everywhere Temperature setting was ignored and room stayed at 63 degeees Mirror in bathroom was set for people over 6ft tall Shower was set inside a very high tub that for anyone over 70 or limited in anyway could not get in. Plugs did not have usb socket Cold water never ran cold always Luke warm

We were satisfied with our stay at the Hotel Fauchere. The location was great - Milford is a very cute, quaint town. The room was clean and comfortable, but the lighting and decor left something to be desired. We had our pup with us and loved that the Hotel was pet-friendly. There seemed to be a lack of staff at a few points when we were in need of service. Around 6pm on Friday evening, we decided to try the restaurant on the lower level, Bar Louis. We did not have reservations but it did seem to get busier throughout the evening, so it might be best to consider making them. Our meals were fantastic- I got the vegan au poive (pictured) and my husband got the mussels. The service and atmosphere were both well done. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Hotel is always great. However, dinner at Bar Louis was very disappointing for the first time. In the past, BL has been our favorite part of this great hotel. This particular time....substantially below par food quality and, zero atmosphere. Nothing lasts forever.

Beautiful, scenic, several smaller falls, one grand fall with several levels and different viewing points. Not a long hike but some spots can be intense, especially for those with little legs. Found a cool cave... did not explore... looked like bones laying in the entrance.. so you know, enter at your own risk 😏

Short walk to the falls from the upper parking lot. Beautiful, lush forested area. I love the sound of rushing water the closer you get to the Falls. Beautiful. My only caution is there can be a lot of raised rocks, roots and other vegetation along the trail that can be dangerous for Senior Citizens. Use the railings and watch your step.
Susan P — Google review
A nice view. A small hike for those interested. There are two observation platforms. One up top and one below. There are two ways to get to the lower platform. A hike down from the top or a straight path from the additional parking area.

What an incredible hidden gem! Raymondskill Falls is the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania, and it’s absolutely worth the visit. The trail is short and easy, making it perfect for families or anyone looking for a quick nature escape. The views from the upper and lower platforms are stunning—you can hear the power of the falls as you get closer. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and a perfect spot to relax, take photos, or just enjoy nature. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area or planning a weekend getaway in Pennsylvania. Don’t forget your camera and comfortable shoes!

Fantastic trails and waterfalls! Easy walk up or down. Plenty of parking. Tons of different birds. No fish though. Great for photography! Safe area with clean restrooms. 10 out of 10! Totally recommended! Just beware of possible bears. I encountered none during my visit.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen! Raymondskill Falls is located at the north portion of the Delaware Water Gap! The hike to see the falls is very short and easy. I highly recommend anyone visiting the Delaware Water Gap to check out Raymondskill Falls!
George F — Google review
The largest falls in PA i am told. It was really beautiful and worth the visit. I was surprised it was flowing so fast in September!
Nina ( — Google review
Raymondskill Falls is the tallest and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Pennsylvania. The falls consist of three different tiers. The trail leading to the is only a third of a mile long and has two sets of viewing platforms to view the falls. The platforms offer ample room and are a safe way to view the falls. The trail leading to the falls is wide and easy to follow. Just be cautious with your footing here. The trail is a loop setup so you can get to both viewing platforms. The lower of the platforms offers a better view of the falls, in my opinion. There is a parking lot for about ten or more vehicles. There are other trails nearby as well. At the beginning of the trail there is a set of restrooms. It is easy to access a trail map online or you can just view the map board in the parking lot. Best of all this wonder of nature is free to see. So get out and enjoy it!

Nature & Parks
Milford Beach is a popular spot during the warm months, offering swimming, sunbathing, and various summer activities. As one of three lifeguarded beaches in the area, safety is ensured. The beach provides picnic areas, pavilions, restrooms, boat and canoe launches, and access to the Joseph M. McDade Recreational Trail. It's well-maintained with a clean environment and offers a nice view of the Delaware River.
🤩 a nice place to spend with the family the picnic areas and the bathrooms are always clean, there’s a lot place to play sports, you can walk along the routes in the middle of nature and if you are lucky you can eat wild grapes depending on the season, hopefully the rules for having your pet in the picnic areas someday they will change 😏

Was hoping to see a calm and serene place to be with the nature. Beautiful river, but the beach is completely taken over by a bunch of obnoxious people that play loud music, bbq the crap out of the place, and litter everywhere. It’s funny that you need to pay an entry fee to get in.

Milford Beach was great I had a great time enjoying barbecue and parking is just 10 dollars. Took a swim at the river beach. You can bathe on the Delaware River. This River Beach is in the border of Pennsylvania and NJ but is on the Pennsylvania side. Great place to relax and enjoy nature.

Small beach but is very well maintained & super clean. Nice view of Delaware River, wonderful place for picnicking, kayaking, & canoeing. There’s access to McDade trail, bathrooms, covered picnic area, large parking area & plenty of space to have an amazing day! $10 car fee. Bring your water shoes there’s a lot of rocks so it’s a bit difficult to walk barefoot 🦶 We got lucky and saw a cub 🐻 swimming!!!

Took family there first time this 4th of July and we love it , entrance charge is very cheap and what we like most is that they don’t allowed dogs. Water was great kids love it .
Kriss P — Google review
Super nice for a quick hop in the river and skipping a few stones. Bathrooms/Porto pots were available, and for the most part everything was clean and inviting. It was $10.00 for an all day parting pass when we stopped in for the day.
Emily D — Google review
Nice place nice staff but the boat launch is always with people that don’t have a boat they are there with kayaks when there is a kayak ramp but the kayak ramp is washed out but still usable, people taking up the parking lot that clearly says boat parking only and the ranger does not give out tickets. Lots of trashy people get some manners people and respect. Other then that it’s a great place.

Fantastic place to watch sunrise as the view is spectacular. Very quiet and tranquil beach to enjoy sunrise. Some people went there especially for the sunrise while others went for jogging and walking their dogs.

Waterwheel Café, Bakery & Bar is a charming restaurant located in a historic setting with a deck and restored grist mill. It offers a blend of American and Vietnamese cuisine, making it a popular spot for both tourists and locals. The menu features a variety of dishes including omelettes, bacon, vegan power bowls, banh mi sandwiches, salads, and more.
Came here for dinner, the food was so good I went back for brunch the next day. The vietnamese noodle soup with chicken (coconut curry type) was maybe the best thing I’ve ever had. Pastries were excellent. Service was also very good. They really know what they are doing here. Do yourself a favor and check them out for any meal.

Walked into the café and has good but extremely busy vibes. Baked good smelled delicious! Sat by the water wheel in the side room. Service was terrible slow, not enough staff. Working so fast things were being dropped on the floor and not cleaned up after. My meal had a over powering flavor, not of a good kind. We were pretty much ignored. A cup of coffee was in a 6oz mug not even all the way filled and trying to get a refill was redicliously long. As the table next to us with 4 locals were getting the 5 star service. I mentioned to whom I presume was the manager when asked "how was my meal" and made a suggestion. His response was that they come highly. recommended??? Not going back if in the area again.

We love stopping by here to pick up desserts before visiting with friends. All the desserts we've tried so far have been terrific(5 for food). The staff is really nice and accommodating. They get an overall 4 because of the way their space is set up and for lack of posted pricing. The way the space is set up makes for a little bit of crowding at their counter, and if there are more than two people it's hard to tell who is next(4 for atmosphere). Also, their pastries have no prices posted, they only have a piece of paper behind the counter for their staff to read (4 for service). We recently stopped in for brunch, the food was terrific and service was also great.

Great food in a charming water wheel mill. You can walk through the partially functioning mill to. This place was featured on the Food Network a couple times. The food is really terrific and plan on taking away something from their fresh baked goods. So delicious

Very nice location with historical significance. The ambiance is quite nice. We liked the bakery area but were seated in the bar area due to space limitations. Nothing wrong with the bar room with the exception of the foul smell coming from the restroom. Service was nice and the food was mostly enjoyable. We liked the Burger and Chicken & Waffle. However, the Vietnamese sandwich was disappointing - good quality bread and veggies but the roast pork was stale. Also, you won't find 🍟 here. Overall, I'm willing to visit again.

Grey Towers National Historic Site is a stunning estate featuring a French chateau-style mansion built in 1886, surrounded by vast, landscaped lawns. The well-maintained grounds and the beautiful building offer visitors a glimpse into history. The staff is praised for their professionalism and dedication to preserving the site's significance. This former home of the Pinchot Family in Milford, Pennsylvania, now serves as a preserved museum with free outdoor visits and guided tours inside the mansion for a fee.
This was a last-minute stop as we had not heard about it before but it was fantastic! There is something for everyone, history, beautiful gardens, hiking trails, and a nice, clean, small downtown nearby. It was pouring on and off the day we stopped by so we didn't chance the trails but we toured the home, did the Jr ranger program, watched the videos, and took some time to sit in the rockers and take in the view. Everything was clean and all the Rangers were very nice and knowledgeable, we stumped one with our questions but another ranger was able to answer for us. Well worth the stop, you could spend an hour here or a whole day. Enjoy!
Laurie F — Google review
Beautiful grounds. The inside of the house was breathtaking and worth the cost. The informative video in the bait house was very interesting. All of the rangers and volunteers were friendly and very knowledgeable. Make sure you look at what time the tours are, the grounds are open all week but the gift shop and tours are only on certain days. Tickets can only be purchased in the gift shop.
Joann L — Google review
This place is incredible! One of the best of hundreds of historical sites I have ever been to. Didn't get to take a tour or go inside cuz it was closed due to government shutdown (thank you Dems), but the outside of the house and the grounds were unreal. Just a short few miles/minutes off 84 close to Milford, definitely worth a stop on your travels. So much to see. Even the bathroom facility in the parking area was a tower. Plenty of parking and great bathrooms with water fountains. Came during fall, so got added bonus of fall decorations, including pumpkins. Can't wait to return for a tour of the inside!
Jimmer W — Google review
Quiet and vast area filled with history. We walked around the perimeter and soaked in all the beautiful flowers, sun and landscape. There's two levels of parking available and there were tours happening. It was an enjoyable afternoon roaming around.
Babs V — Google review
Wow, wow, wow!! This place was impressive beyond belief. And, it was a complete surprise find while road tripping through the New England states. While we were on time constraints and didn't get to make it inside the house, just the outside is a site to marvel at. I love seeing these types of places and imagine myself living there in times gone by. Hard to believe JFK was here shortly before he had gotten assassinated. Lots of history in the video. Make this a stop on your travels, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful home full of history of an early time of US history and the begginig of the US Forrest conservamcy movement. Pinchot family involved after they, very ironically, made their fortune in the logging industry and significantly deforested the area. Apparently one of the progeny, grandson, i think, became upset witnessing the ravaged woods in pennsylvania. This personn became the first US forrester after studying in europe. He ultimately was govenor of pa twice and established the US Forrest Service. Mansion built by famous architect of the gilded age. Can only tour the first floor for $10 but it is worth it. Nice picture of life then. Some interesting touches outside home as they entertained some big time dignitaries like a stone table with a water center where food would be floated for dining guests to sserve themselves.4 stars because there were part of the gardends that looked very interesting but were locked off without explanation.
Ricardo F — Google review
We would 100% recommend visiting. We were passing through the area and decided to stop on a whim. It was a Thursday so the grounds were open but the house was not, which was okay with us - we needed to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. The grounds are simply gorgeous. As we were walking we passed a woman who looked like she might work there but we didn't say more than a passing hello. She came and found us ten minutes later and gave our three kids Smokey the Bear gear and told them that if they come back they could be junior rangers. She was incredibly kind. We are already thinking about when we might be able to come back to tour the house.

Beautiful walk on the Cornelia trail and back using the may loop trail. Pet friendly, must be on leash. We stopped by early Saturday morning and there were only two other vehicles in the parking lot. Heard a lot of birdsong and the trees and plant life were thriving. Definitely coming back for a look in fall. There is a map showing all the different trails you can access, quite a few to choose from. Nature is awesome. There is a restroom at the top of the Cornelia trail and a picnic area. Restrooms and trail were very clean. There are markers naming some of the trees and plants along the trail. Nice to get out and stretch the legs. The Cornelia trail was gravel, the may loop was unpaved but mowed down. All trail markers very clear and visible. There is a bit of a grade but nothing to strenuous. If you are in the area looking for a beautiful place to walk stop by and see this gem.

I felt like I was walking down the yellow brick road trying to find the great and powerful Oz. In the beginning of the walk there are little signs telling you the names of the different trees and brush. At the top of the hill you come to a covered pavilion and bathrooms. I visited here in the fall but would like to take my grandkids and have a picnic lunch in the summer. The walking path is level and well maintained.
Mary C — Google review
Beautiful trail with multiple different paths that vary in terrain. The trail is well shaded with an open grassy area next to the terrace and bathroom. The trail is easy to walk and dog friendly, with multiple dog waste bag dispensers.
Nick R — Google review
Gentle walk to the Pavillion from the parking lot. It took about 20 minutes to walk leisurely to our destination. Stroller friendly. There are several picnic benches under the roof.
Trish W — Google review
Beautiful preserve with main trail that's well taken care of. Side trails offer a good work out and tougher terrain. One huge note of caution: while exiting the main trail by the parking lot, into the woods was a very large timber rattlesnake eating a very large gartersnake. The rattle sound caught our attention and thankfully it was pre-occupied with a meal. Nature at its best. These were both very large, very healthy snakes. Just a note of Caution to be fully alert especially with young children or pets. The snakes were probably there when we entered the trail and stopped to look at the trail map that's posted just a few feet away. Be alert to your surroundings at all times and have a phone with you when hiking.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience, look no further than John's of Arthur Ave. in Milford, PA. This casual eatery specializes in classic Italian-American dishes and is particularly known for its Bronx-style pizza that transports you straight to New York City with every bite. During my recent visit, I was welcomed into a warm atmosphere perfect for family gatherings. We kicked off our meal with their Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce—an absolute classic that did not disappoint!
So good and so many original flavors to choose from. The lady behind the counter was very kind and patient while we decided what to get. Definitely recommend the graffiti pizza, was a fan favorite in my party.

During a recent visit to John’s of Arthur Ave. in Milford, PA, my family and I enjoyed a truly memorable meal rooted in authentic Bronx-style Italian cooking. The welcoming atmosphere made it an ideal place for a relaxed family outing, and the food lived up to its reputation. We started with the Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce, which was a hit—simple, fresh, and classic. The pasta was perfectly cooked and generously coated in a house-made tomato sauce, sprinkled with just the right amount of cheese and herbs. One of the highlights was the Eggplant Parm Hero. It came out hot and hearty, with thick-cut eggplant fried to perfection, layered with rich marinara and creamy mozzarella on a fresh Italian roll. A must-try, especially if you love traditional Italian sandwiches. To finish, we shared a Cannoli for dessert. It was everything a good cannoli should be—crispy shell, sweet ricotta filling, chocolate chips, and a dusting of powdered sugar. Light yet satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were generous enough to please everyone at the table. From the warm hospitality to the quality of the dishes, John’s of Arthur Ave gave my family a dining experience we won’t soon forget. If you're looking for authentic Italian food in a family-friendly setting, John’s of Arthur Ave is a gem. Great for locals, travelers, and anyone craving real-deal Italian flavors.

Finally, a place that feels like I'm having BX pizza. They do seem to be understaffed. Maybe calling ahead of time before stopping by! Tuesday afternoon seemed super crowded, and I waited about 45min for my order. Other than this, the staff is friendly, and they seem to try very hard to get everyone's food out. Check them out and try the Graffity pizza.

Cute pizza shop near the NY border. We stopped here on the way back to CT from TN. The pizza was good, mostly due to the cheese. The mozzarella was excellent. The wings were pretty good, standard Frank's Red Hot with some butter. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly cooked and had the same cheese as the pizza, likely the same sauce. The garlic knots were also good, although due to being jarred garlic it wasn't quite as potent as I was hoping. The service was quick, the food came out super hot and fast. I would definitely stop here again if I was in the area.

I’ve tried all the other Pizza/ Italian spots in Milford and haven’t been in a few years and noticed this place opened. Great spot. Had their Detroit style pizza. I was expecting the dough to be thick but wow it was airy and crispy, it was very good. Got my Dad a Grandma slice and he said it was very delicious as well. Tried their garlic knots, also was expecting the dough to be dense but it was light and chewy and there was good garlic and parm flavor in every bite. We sat outside on the patio, seats are very comfy and there’s shade so you aren’t burning up in the sun.

The best Calzone and some of the best pizza we’ve ever had!! So cheesy and soft and perfect flavor combos. The place had a great aesthetic and super friendly staff as well! My only complaint is how hot it was in the restaurant due to the ovens- making it an ideal takeout/delivery place but not good for sit-in in hot weather. Probably fine in the winter though! Was the perfect road trip rest stop- will be making coming through Milford to stop here a travel priority in the future when possible.

Always thought this place was mediocre, but the last 2 pizzas this summer were awesome! Not sure if it's a new pizza person, new owners, or new recipe l, but they definitely changed something for the better! Pricing is a bit high but definitely worth it in Milford. Thanks for the solid pizza!

I would’ve been embarrassed to hand this over to a customer after they paid almost $29. And when I reached out once I got home and opened it to see what I bought for dinner, I got no response.

Stopped in here for the first time after years of driving by. I was greeted in a polite and friendly manner and taken to my table quickly. It was in between lunch and dinner and so there wasn't a big crowd, which was kind of nice for once. Sarah came quickly to my table to take my order, smiling pleasantly all the time. I ordered the Cobb salad. Boy, there sure was a lot of food. The blue cheese dressing was chunky and the chicken was tender. The greens were fresh but the tomatoes were just a little mealy. All in all, a great meal at a good value. I'm finally escaping New York and heading into Milford to live and so will be back regularly. 6\25\25 Stopped in today and am dropping my rating slightly. I ordered the fish and chips. Still same great service but the meal was lacking. One piece of fish and a handful of lukewarm fries. The problem with serving food in a metal bucket (the fries) is that the container acts as a heat sink and pulls it from whatever is stored in it. $20 was too much.

I've spotted this restaurant and have meant to visit for several years. I'm so glad I did! Sarah was a lovely waitress, our meals were delicious and the portions generous, the decor was lovely! It's also located in a little shopping village with a garden and pond. I'll be back!

I dined at Apple Valley for many years since moving to the area in the late 1980s and, under it's long-standing family ownership, always enjoyed the fare it provided, the friendly well-trained staff, the extensive menu (including an array of dinner entrees), and the affordable prices. Sadly, none of that was to be found tonight, my first time back since it became another outlet owned and operated by Milford Hospitality/ Rosado group. I ordered the brisket dinner, which came with salad, mashed potatoes, and coleslaw (add a soda and it came to just under $30). I should have known it would be mediocre when the menu featured a reminder that brisket is fatty. The meal came out in less than 10 minutes, at which time the waitperson said she could bring my salad out when I finished the meal or make it to go... when I declined, a better place would have offered dessert instead since they missed delivering my salad. Nope. Then I realized I had no silverware except the unnecessary steak knife that came with the plate. Staff told me just to grab something from another table. Great service, huh! The meal was less than mediocre... think Denny's on an off night. Blah! What a shame that this once beloved, formerly locally owned, Milford institution has fallen. There are better options to be found. I won't be back.

It’s Octoberfest and I tried their sauerbraten…. It was so delicious I think they stole my mom’s recipe. LOL This is the first restaurant to make it the way I love it. What makes it special is it’s made with ginger snaps. Hubby took me there for my birthday today. We are going back as our Anniversary is in Oct too… gotta have this again before waiting another year to have it. Hubby is getting it too. We have eaten there before but it now seems our go-to spot when we go to PA.

My 26 year old grandson recommended this restaurant because he's eaten here before and likes it, so my wife and I met him, my daughter and granddaughter for lunch for my wife's birthday. I had the brisket sandwich and it was by far the best brisket sandwich I've eaten and I've had many from many other restaurants. The BBQ sauce is amazing. I wanted to purchase some to take home but my grandson said they didn't sell it. They'd make a ton if they sold the BBQ sauce. The restaurant even gave us a discount for coming there for my wife's birthday. I live in NY but I can't wait to return anytime we go to Milford again. Our waitress was excellent. I thank you for your service. Highly recommend.

Stopped in today for lunch during a motorcycle ride. Warm atmosphere but could use a little updating. Our service was very good with Lily. Food was pretty good. We had Italian wedding soup, Philly cheese steak egg rolls and smoky mountain brisket sandwich. Would stop again if in the area.

Bar & grill
Restaurant
Nestled just a stone's throw from the historic Milford Theater, Jive Bar & Lounge offers an inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements a sunny day. With its open garage doors, this lively spot is ideal for unwinding with a refreshing glass of wine or a chilled beer after your outdoor adventures. The weekends come alive with live music performances, adding to the vibrant ambiance. Patrons rave about the attentive bartenders who ensure your drink never runs dry while you soak in the fun auto-themed decor.
Fun auto-themed atmosphere. Good food. Good drinks/nice beer list. The crab fries actually had crab meat! (As opposed to Chickies and Pete's "crab fries".) Burger and shrimp tacos, very good!

The food was amazing, the bartenders fantastic. Every drink was on point and each one better than the next. Unfortunately we won't be returning. We had a good size group with us and an altercation occurred at no fault of ours. Our friends motorcycle got hit. The bouncer either needs training or he did exactly what he believed to be right. When the situation was already calm and some local idiot comes out screaming at everyone the bouncer let him be. And then he decided to start screaming at my niece who was just sitting with our belongings. The man should have been tossed out. But no he let him stay. No need to spend our money there when there are so many other good places. Don't waste your time because he is apparently there all the time. EPIC failure Jive Bar. 👎🏻

I hate giving 1 star reviews. I really do. Maybe this place was understaffed. They should have more bartenders and more servers working. It took over 40 minutes to get our food, and I had to walk up from my table to the bar to order our drinks and food, and then he left our drinks at the side of the bar for me to walk up and get it. Fortunately it wasn't late at night, so I wasn't worried about someone spiking drinks, but it's still unfortunate for the dining experience. I paid $57 for 2 decent drinks and 2 small and stale chicken sandwiches. We got the speed bump and the antifreeze drinks, and they were good, but it would have been nice to have more servers and it would have made the experience way better to have more attentive and faster service. The atmosphere and bar facing the street were fun and we enjoyed hanging out, but ultimately, everything else really ruined it. Sorry :( don't want to get anyone in trouble, but I hate chasing down workers and paying $60 to get my food and drink and then not even really enjoying it. Overall impression and final takeaway, not coming back unless they improve two things: lower prices or get better service. Parking is fine if it's not too busy.

Went with my husband and our friends - even though no live music (Sunday), the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Ashley, who managed the bar and tables, was funny, engaging and offered great service. Food was basic but delish! TV’s everywhere but not obnoxiously loud. Ashley also makes a great sangria! Not on the drink menu but she whipped one up at my request. Cost was very reasonable, and the burgers were top notch!

This was our second time here. I highly recommend that you DO NOT EAT HERE. The kitchen staff were eating in the kitchen while preparing food and were not wearing any gloves. (See photos). The kitchen also seemed a bit dirty. We were going to order food but after observing this we decided not to order anything. The one man band was good. The bartender was attentive but the drink prices were a little high.

This place is really nice. Bartender was very friendly and her suggestions were pretty good. We had appetizers and everything was very tasty 😋

Food is great, service sucks. Manager tried to be helpful and I’ll give her credit for that but the bartender had a nasty attitude
Casual O — Google review
We are newly local to the area and we were really excited to try Jive bar. We had a group of about 10 people to celebrate two birthdays. The night started out great. The bartenders were wonderful, the food was very good, the service was quick and there was even live music. Unfortunately our experience was ruined due to a poorly handled altercation that occurred and we will not be returning. Our friends motorcycle was hit by another customer at the bar. Everything was calm until his friend started yelling and threatening us. Rather than de-escalate the situation, the bouncer allowed him to continue yelling at various people in our group, including my female cousin who was inside by herself. It is clear that you will not be helped if you aren’t a “regular” if any type of incident occurs. Your business would’ve gained 10 more loyal customers had this incident been handled better and had our female group members felt safe. But a business that chooses to protect drunken “regulars” over safety and protection of its other guests is not somewhere we want to be.

The website said it was open, but it's closed for the season. Should really update your facts. Now my meds are upset and I have to find a new place. Oh well.

Restaurant
RAY-N-CHARLES is a no-frills establishment that serves classic diner dishes, including breakfast options and burgers. The staff is known for their friendliness and attentiveness, making customers feel welcome and appreciated. Many patrons appreciate the delicious food and reasonable prices. Some have mentioned minor inconveniences such as a surcharge for using debit cards, but overall, the restaurant has garnered positive reviews for its homey atmosphere and great service.
This place serves the absolute best Caesar wraps I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The presentation was a huge step up from what I expected, and the quality of the food truly impressed me. Highly recommend!

As a self-proclaimed breakfast connoisseur, I consider myself a credible judge of a good morning meal. When I visited, the owner was behind the grill. To be fair, the menu described the breakfast platter as including home fries, but what we actually received were potatoes—check out the picture! That said, the price was reasonable. I’m happier to have a new establishment. I didn’t like the previous owner since they were extremely over priced and were left wings. I hope this feedback will help make improvements.

My Family and I had Breakfast at Pocono Beer and Deli. The Food was Amazing! Sal the chef made me a Delicious Ham and Cheese Omelette! Brittany the Manager was so accommodating and made us feel so Welcomed! The Staff was Friendly and Professional! Markeisha was Amazing so Polite and Efficient when taking our orders! The Place is Renovated and looks great! I would highly recommend this Restaurant!

What used to be a great quality deli is now vice central. Long gone are the Ray n Charles days where one could get delicious food and friendly service, something I proved to myself after 3 subpar visits to this place since new ownership. Their bagels and pastries are not made in store anymore. The grill cook has been different in every visit, which killed consistency. And the counter service… well, it hasn’t been the best on either visit, but today was the worst. I stood by the counter for almost 10 minutes without being acknowledged, even though the girl up front walked by me 4+ times and even dispensed tobacco to people that came in after me. But I think this is not a staff problem. Ever since the new owners took over, the overall experience quality has gone down. The workers that everyone in the community knew are gone, allegedly because of poor pay and unsustainable hours. And I believe it, because it shows. This is 3rd strike for me. It’s sad to see that this place is now geared towards giving people more of what they don’t need (booze and cigarettes), and less of what they do (good food and good service).

New owners of Ray & Charles thst I think are PERFECT for our area. Brittany runs a tight ship and is always running around taking care of details. Hailey makes the most amazing hero’s and I will NEVER go anywhere else for my favorite hero! Their attention to customer service, changing hours to accommodate locals who have dealt with the location closed early every day! They really do care and is a local business with supporting! 💪💪❤️Tom

Ain’t gonna lie, I had an amazing Philly cheesesteak and waffle fries. Everything was cooked to perfection and with love.

I went here last week and again today because the service and food and staff were outstanding. The staff Brittany, Lauren, and Ashley were so friendly and spent time talking to us. The food was very good and a great value. I was so impressed and came back again today.
Liberty B — Google review
Walking in just felt sad. The atmosphere was sad and the place was empty, one person behind the counter, three cooking and still took 20 mins for two eggs home fries bacon. Place is a shell of what it used to be. Also not kid friendly… they have bottles of alcohol everywhere including in front of the counter. Way to accessible for small kids to reach. Overall disappointed with it all.
