The food is exactly the southern fried Louisiana specialties you desire. The shrimp po boy was huge and stuffed with perfectly fried shrimp. All of the appetizers we tried were delicious, and the drinks were flowing for a late lunch. Service was pretty fast but curt vs warm. The atmosphere was bar patrons and families with lots of children so it was pretty loud inside. Overall I'd recommend this for a sure lunch to be remembered!

October 4 was my birthday. But since it is now OK to celebrate your birthday throughout the month, my friend invited me to celebrate my birthday at her favorite restaurant to my surprise her favorite restaurant, which to my surprise was the restaurant that I had passed many times on my way to different parts of Louisiana was one in the same “The Francis“. I was elated!!! Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess asked us where we wanted to be seated, and, I said wherever we will be served the quickest! So she directed us to the patio. The patio was delightful!!! In the center of it is this large oak tree with long limbs covered with thick leaves to shade you from the sun, but yet provides a cool breeze when needed! I loved sitting out there! Within five minutes or less, our server came she was amazing! Funny, sweet, attentive, she was everything you would want embodied in your server! She had us laughing so much I’ve felt she needed her own sitcom!! but in the mist of all of that humor and laughter, she paid attention to our needs and addressed them. I have never been so well served. I think her name is Alicia and if you ever have the pleasure of eating at the Francis, you must request to be served by Alicia. She, is worth a visit to the restaurant!!! For appetizers, we ordered fried eggplant with a marinara sauce, absolutely delicious crunchy on the outside soft on the inside delicately seasoned perfectly accompanied by a marinara sauce I ordered for my entrée, a ribeye with asparagus and a friend ordered a chicken fried steak. Both were absolutely delicious the meal portions. Well if you close your eyes, you thought you were you were visiting your mom, and she had just fixed your plate, and put it in front of you. Yeah, they are that generous!! My ribeye was a thin cut, but large and cooked to perfection! Tender, juicy, and delicious!!!It came with asparagus, perfectly seasoned and crunchy. A dinner salad and garlic bread! I am so well please with my birthday meal that I’m thinking about going with my friend next month on her birthday. It was just that good!!! If you are ever in the Saint Francisville area and want to treat your face to a wonderful meal, you must go to “The Francis “ you will not be disappointed!!!

I had never been here before. We had a FANTASTIC time!! Our server was AWESOME! She was very attentive, and answered all our questions. The food was DELICIOUS! I would go back again. The corn and lobster bisque was my favorite!! 🤤

First time visiting and I was not disappointed. The shrimp po-boy was exactly what I was looking for. Plenty of great shrimp paired with a solid bread made great eats. Staff was very friendly. Only drawback was the seating which is predominantly stools with bar tables. I'm not big stool person, but we made it work. Definitely want to go back and try more of the menu.

First time here and the food was absolutely delicious! The oysters were perfectly charbroiled! Redfish and crab was delightful! I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m around.

Homemade salad dressing was fabulous, hamburger steak was fabulous hoagie was fabulous. Catfish was fabulous. Everything else was OK.

I've been wanting to try this place for a LONG time... I passed by it last year and decided I'd catch it another time. I finally stopped in today! It's a neat little place with a pretty chill atmosphere. It kinda feels like a shotgun style house with an open floor plan. I looked up the menu and decided I wanted to try the salmon toast. It looked really good in the photos 😋 I was so disappointed to find out they were out of salmon, but I understood... I decided to get the traditional breakfast instead... You get eggs, cooked how you want them, bacon or sausage, grits, and toast, biscuit, or croissant... My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly, the grits were good, the bacon was super yummy, and that croissant was super delish. Next time, hopefully I could catch the salmon toast!!

Great spot to stop in St. Francisville! Super cute decor and great coffee. They also sold fresh flowers.

Quaint and funky little coffee shop and eatery! Breakfast menu is surprisingly robust (stops serving at 11 though!) and the espresso is delicious. Feels friendly and welcoming - the Deep South can be scary for queer and trans folks, but we felt safe and welcome here! ❤️

This place is only open in the morning. It is no longer an "eatery", just a coffee shop. It used to serve full breakfasts with eggs cooked to order, grits, bacon, sausage, etc. Now it just sells cookies and tea cakes, along with coffee. So no point in going there any longer.

Sweet potato waffle was great. Sausage was way too salty. Great local atmosphere.

Passing thru town this coffee shop popped up on my map, so I just had to stop. And I’m sure thankful that I did! The richness of the espresso in my latte was amazing. And the upbeat energy of everybody made the Birdman Coffee shop the highlight of my drive.

Adorable restaurant in historic district. BIKER NOTE-gravel parking lot. Hubs had the Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya special. I had the Turkey Special on pita and a side of sweet potato fries. *Fries are separate. Both were very good, but I think I’d get that sandwich on the po boy bread next time.

Nice little place to have lunch in St. Francisville. The food is very reasonably priced and quite tasty. I had the Mag Burger and can highly recommend it. We will be back.

Stopped here with the family on a Saturday for lunch. Sat outside in the screened patio to avoid the wait for an inside table - it was warm but comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food and drinks arrived in a timely fashion. We had a spicy shrimp poboy, french dip, a small pizza, and chicken tenders. Truthfully, the food itself is nothing out of the ordinary (ok, the tenders were surprisingly high quality - move out the way Canes), but this visit was all about the sum of the parts. The food, staff, and no frills quaint environment made it a great stop during a road trip. Keeping this on my list when in the area.

We had a really good meal at the Magnolia Cafe and Saint Francisville, LA. The restaurant is larger than it appears from the outside and has several dining and drinking areas. The menu was varied, with several choices. The service was good and the food was very good. The decor of the restaurant is nice and it is in a very good setting.

Love this adorable little restaurant so much I went back a second day. Their homemade sensation salad dressing is top tier. I even purchased a bottle for home. Their crab and corn bisque was heavenly. Highly recommend and will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Stop by with a party of five today and everyone loved the food. My wife and I both had the specials, steak and fish. All flavors were amazing. The only thing that I could criticize is my medium steak was well done but still juicy tender and delicious. Was a bit pricey for four people and a 4-year-old at lunch time. A little over $90.

Made the trip to try out the restaurant. Such a nice experience. Great service, delicious meal and loved our cocktails outside on back patio. Very relaxing among beautiful plants. We will be back.

Oh my. The St. Francisville Inn embodies all the best of the South. The Inn is surrounded by huge oak trees with hanging moss and well-kept gardens. The common areas are exquisitely decorated, rooms where you could comfortably spend hours. The bar is as well laid out as any I've ever seen, with a truly outstanding wine collection. People come from Baton Rouge to have dinner here, so you'll need a reservation, but you won't be disappointed if you dine here. The food is some of the best I have ever had, and its reputation is regionally acknowledged. Best of all, the staff is unfailingly courteous and kind. Manager Charles Rodrigue made us feel like long lost family. I can't recommend the St. Francisville Inn highly enough. 6 stars.

Our stay at the St. Francisville Inn was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is absolutely lovely—charming, peaceful, and filled with beautiful furnishings that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a serene Southern dream. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. Charles went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. He was incredibly accommodating and helpful, always ready with a kind word or thoughtful suggestion. **Shirley** was also wonderful—she truly made my young daughter feel so special, and her warmth added such a personal touch to our stay. We especially loved the Inn’s restaurant, which was simply incredible. The food, ambiance, and service all made it a standout experience—definitely worth visiting even if you're not staying overnight. One suggestion: adding a golf cart rental is a great way to explore the charming streets of St. Francisville more easily. Traveling with my mom and daughter, this was the perfect place for us to relax, reconnect, and enjoy some much-needed quality time together. I highly recommend the St. Francisville Inn—it’s a true gem and a wonderful way to experience the heart of Louisiana.

We've stayed here several times on our way to Florida - mainly because of the restaurant and bar - great food and great drinks. We've always enjoyed our stay - except for one issue on our last stay in July, 2025. In our room was an envelop for a tip for the cleaning staff. I'm not surprised when I see something similar in a chain hotel with rooms costing 1/3 of what St F charges, but considering what I'm paying at St F for a good but not super great room, I think they could pay their cleaning staff an adequate wage so that they don't have to rely on tips.

Great tour and well worth the price of admission. I have lived in the area but for whatever reason have never done this tour until now. Well preserved and maintained. With 90% of the original furniture, and restored to a really close facsimile of what they feel is historically accurate. The tour guide was EXTREMELY passionate and knowledgeable of the place. A must see and worth it. It was going into winter when we visited and the gardens weren't that well tended would be my only real criticism....

The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the staff outstanding. The lady running the gift shop was so kind and helpful and our tour guide was unbelievable knowledgeable, cordial, and fun! Definitely set aside 2-3 hours for the tour + time to explore. Tours were on the hour when we went. Also bring money for the gift shop, it is fantastic!

Ask for a tour that is led by Brok Veod. He's like a living encyclopedia! This is by far the best historical home we've ever visited along the Mississippi River. We stumbled upon an oak tree growing out of the middle of a cedar tree. The grounds are beautiful.

Such a stunning plantation home. So much of the original furniture and the porch view is breath taking. Our tour guide, Kate, was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun, we really enjoyed her. I highly recommend going view this Plantation and the grounds.

My wife not absolutely loved it. So much of this house is original including the furniture. It is amazing. We have toured dozens of plantations and this is one of the most well preserved. You can tell so much money has been put into the restoration. Excellent job and reasonably priced. Currently owned and ran by the state of Louisiana. At time of this review it is $12 per adult for the house tour. Well worth it. Beautiful gardens. I recommend February or March when the Camellia or azaleas are blooming.

Absolutely loved it! Hidden gem! Only $7 for ground or $12 for grounds and whole house tour! STUNNING! Would totally recommend if you want to feel transported back in time and see 90% of the original furniture in the house! Our tour guide, Sasha, was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of history about the family and house! Lots of pictures as well of the family.

This was our first time eating here. We walked in shortly after they were open and were not immediately greeted. There was no music on and it was a little awkward initially. We had grace given that it was about 15 minutes after open but it would have been better had they been ready to go after their opening time. Immediately after walking in, we smelled a sewer smell that was strong. We almost considered leaving but we weren’t sure what the smell was initially. The restaurant didn’t have signs about the smell or mention it to us. I eventually asked the waitress who disclosed to me that there was a plumbing issue that has been going on for a while and the restaurant hasn’t been able to resolve it. The smell was bad enough that I would not return to this restaurant unless I knew the issue was fixed. The service was okay. Given how slow the restaurant was, I would have expected a little more attentiveness when we walked in and in our first 20 minutes. When the waitress did come by she was sweet and polite. The food was fresh and tasted delicious; however, we didn’t feel great after eating it which I thought was odd given that it is Mediterranean food. They had markers for our kids which entertained them but also made a mess. I would have loved for them to have the option of crayons instead. The restaurant looked clean including the bathrooms.

Our waiter was so kind and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, and even the little almonds were a surprise hit…I normally hate almonds, but these were incredible.

Clean and sharp with the coolest light fixtures. Extensive menu. Petra Sandwich and Gyro were very good. Enjoyed the Lebanese Iced Tea. Service was pleasant but periodically disappearing.

Very good food, although somewhat pricey, especially the cracklins (which are often sugared, so not recommended). There is also a good selection of fancy meat cuts to take home and cook yourself. It's very popular so often crowded and you might have to wait for a table.

I didn't have high expectations since Louisiana isn't known for BBQ. And being a Texas native, it is interesting to see how different states make their own twist on it. When I stepped into the smokehouse, I love the decor. The employees were really nice. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato waffle fries. My boyfriend ordered the brisket sandwich with corn pudding and baked beans. BBQ is expensive. When it's done properly, there's no regret on the purchase! Bread was soft, bacon wasn't overcooked, and the hamburger patty was juicy. I love those fries! Hot and fresh. I took a bite out of the brisket sandwich. It melts in your mouth! Housemade sauce had a balance of sweetness and a little kick at the end (not too overpowering) Almost wished this place was close by, it's that good!

Good food in the heart of St. Francisville! We stopped in after touring the Audubon State Historic Site for a meal and it was really good. The boudin balls are HUGE and very tasty. We also tried a 2-meat, 2-sides barbecue meal with a half chicken and brisket. The chicken, while juicy, just didn't have much flavor to it. It somehow smelled smoky, but really didn't taste smoky or barbecued. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't very memorable. The brisket, however, was amazing! I'm not a huge brisket fan so you've got to have some pretty serious brisket to get a thumbs-up from me, but this lean, tender, juicy brisket is something worth going back for. As for the sides, we got baked beans and corn pudding. The meal also came with a piece of garlic toast. The toast and corn pudding were wonderful. The beans were good, but they were too sweet. I love sweet baked beans, but these were just a bit too sugary. They weren't really bad, just overly sweet enough for us to avoid them on future visits. Their menu a fairly huge selection which is nice, but it seems like they're trying to offer too much at once. When places do this something usually suffers, but since this was my only visit I can't say that's the case here. They have tons of prepared meats along with boudin balls, boudin links, meat pies, cracklin, and more. You can grab a snack, a meal, or meats to cook later at home. It's the kind of place I'd stop in frequently if I lived in the area. A big plus for us were the picnic tables out front since we brought our dog along. You can bring your best friend and still enjoy a great meal! I recommend trying The Francis if you get a chance. You won't be disappointed.

Everything was delicious. The lasagna was a little too cheesy though and not enough meat in it. The wings were great. The waitress wasn't too informative on what the best things they had to eat . She was like everything be frozen and they heat it up. 🤣..Our pizza was tasty as well.

My friends and I sought a relaxing, pepperoni-and-cheese-filled evening. Our desires led us to Sonny's, the last bastion of Italian cuisine this side of the Mississippi. At the door, the lovely face of Eddie met us, and he provided excellent service all night. The service, spectacular. The food, divine. The atmosphere, comforting like a father carrying his child to bed. The stars aligned for this phenomenal evening. I recommend everyone come here as soon as possible. I'll never forget this experience. Thank you Sonny's.

1 star for the food, because i’ve yet to try it considering i eat an my table for over an hour waiting to get it. this leads me to the service. i understand the struggle of being busy, i don’t understand only seeing the server once tk get our original drink. atmosphere is not good compared to watching other who arrived after me get their food before me.

This was something I'd never thought I could do. The history peaked my interest & the grounds are filled with energy! The stories, the pain, I in no way wanted to be disrespectful to the history. The whole story of events I'm sure will never be totally told... that being said this is my 2nd time staying the night in the main house! I am very spiritual & sensitive & there are no ugly or ugly energy that I've ever seen or felt or heard. You can feel the chills, all the left side & sounds & smells... many things to see & stories to hear! At least worthy of a visit to the tour or to stay or just eat or walk around totally take pictures! See if you capture in any👀✨️ Aslo ppl start coming around 3am especially on the weekends 💫✨️🔮 So Kool!

Sadly no ghosts, but a fun ghost tour! Rainy was a great guide! Entertaining, informative & genuinely happy doing her job. Audrey was training, she gave us a little insight, as well. We stayed in the Caretaker’s cabin. Beds were clean & comfortable. Only suggestion I would have is they give the floors a thorough cleaning. They are rustic & although I have no doubt they clean them, stuff drops between the cracks. It just doesn’t feel as clean, as they may be. FYI- your free breakfast is 1 mini muffin, 1 mini croissant $ free juice, milk or coffee.

We didn't stay at the Myrtles, but took a tour & it was so much fun. Our guide, Marissa, was very friendly, knowledgeable & left it up to us as far as believing the 'ghost stories'. We love visiting antebellum homes/plantations & the Myrtles was one I really wanted to see ever since I saw the episode of Haunted History, lol! It's a beautiful home, the tour lets you see quite a bit of it & the grounds are very pretty. I saw the mirror with the hand/face prints & they are definitely there-I won't say I believe in ghosts, but I won't say I don't either. I think this world is full of things that we can't/don't understand & it just makes life more interesting. Before our tour, we had lunch at the coffee shop & the food was very good (the chicken salad croissant was excellent!), my iced latte was perfect & the brownies are yummy! Overall, our visit was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon & we highly recommend taking a tour.

Been here a couple of times. It’s beautiful and worth visiting. For anyone saying it’s not haunted I can assure you it is. I have two different pictures 100% unaltered. One of a Native American near the gazebo and a lady walking in the pond. I never believed in it until this happened. The lady’s was always nice and it was worth the money to me. Now for the people that complain about it being only 6 rooms it’s not a mansion so I’m not sure what you expected. Also I see a lot of people complain about kids not being allowed in on the tour, why would you think it’s a good idea to bring a child that could break something that literally can’t be replaced? As far as the stories I enjoyed hearing them. Obviously there’s no one alive today that actually knows what really happened so for those that want to complain about accuracy please remember it’s history it could be wrong or right but as i stated there’s no one alive to verify it so while you’re free to have your opinion stop ranting as if you was living at that period in time and witnessed it first hand.

Went there for my birthday get away weekend. Stayed in one of the Garden Room ( main was booked), but had a nice room. Anyone saying it’s NOT haunted, they must not believe. Have several pictures especially one with the butler and Chloe in the same on the end of the front porch, I was touched in the dining room, along with a 13 yr old, and I also touched in the children’s dining room. I AM GOING BACK NEXT YEAR!!

Our tour guide, Rainy Day, absolutely lit up the experience—she is simply awesome. She didn't hold back on the chilling tales, telling some truly spooky stories of things that go bump in the night. If you're looking for a tour that delivers on the ghostly atmosphere, this is it!

Great experience. Guided tours were informative and entertaining. Very friendly staff and inclusive environment. They had an evening movie showing in the courtyard with food and drinks to purchase.

Took my family here on a Sunday afternoon. What a great experience! We started off with the fried brussel sprouts and the rabbit liver mousse! I like trying things I've never seen on a menu before and 1796 didn't disappoint. Then I had the smash burger. 10/10 burger I would recommend to anyone! I also tried their sour beer on tap, AMAZING! I didn't care for the cranberry one but that's okay. The bartender said they change them out frequently. Our waiting stuff was decent, could have been a little more happier to be there. Our daughter loved the place. We loved the cook in the hearth, Francis! He was amazing. I will definitely be coming back, this place stole my heart!

Our reservation was at 7:00 p.m. We arrived ten minutes early to ensure we were prompt and on time. Despite that, we were made to wait until 7:10 before our table was ready. Upon sitting down, we promptly ordered drinks. I ordered a Dr Pepper and waited about ten minutes for it, even though I could see the soda fountain from where we were seated. We quickly ordered a beet salad and lettuce wraps as appetizers. We then waited another 35 minutes before they were served. When ordering my entrée, I chose the redfish and was informed that they were out of broccolini. That was fine — not the end of the world — but the replacement offered was carrots. I asked if there was a reasonable substitute. I was told, “We can do grits.” Two issues with that: first, grits aren’t exactly a vegetable; second, there are plenty of other vegetables on the menu, why weren’t any of them offered, when the restaurant ran out of the item I originally ordered? I said whatever and asked for them on the side knowing my companions would eat them. Our entrées didn’t arrive until 8:13, and my plate still came piled with carrots — a lot of them. For a place charging $40 per entrée, you’d expect the kitchen to either offer a reasonable alternative or at least follow a simple request. I understand that a busy night can make consistency difficult, but I can’t fathom how they justify such high prices for this level of service. To make matters worse, halfway through our meal, a bartender approached our table mid-bite — without saying “excuse me” — and asked, “Did y’all have any drinks at the bar?” My two companions had, and the restaurant typically keeps track of that information, especially since they funnel waiting guests to the bar before seating. At that point, we were done. We promptly asked for the check and left, disappointed and frustrated by the entire experience.

We specifically went for happy hour. When I asked the bartender about the happy hour, he just stated that it was one side of the menu but gave no information about the pricing. When I asked him to clarify, he just repeated himself. I then ordered a martini with blue cheese olives and I was not informed there was an up charge for those olives. Better communication would have been nice. Our waitress, however, once we were seated for dinner, was lovely!

My boyfriend and I went for his birthday and toured the plantation after. The ambience was very romantic and we were sat by the window looking over the patio and garden. We got a snack trio, a dozen chargrilled oysters, and a couple of steaks. All of the above were delicious. Joe, our server, picked a nice cabernet for us to share. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back for more if it wasn’t so far.

We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our honeymoon dinner at Restaurant 1792, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make the evening special with thoughtful touches that made us feel truly celebrated. The food was phenomenal—every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour, showcasing the chef’s creativity and attention to detail. It was a perfect balance of elegance and comfort, making the experience unforgettable. The service was exceptional. The entire team was warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our night perfect. They anticipated every need without being intrusive, which made us feel completely relaxed and cared for. If you’re looking for an extraordinary dining experience with incredible food and outstanding hospitality, Restaurant 1792 is the place to be.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner that consisted of Caesar salad, filet mignon, and a pistachio “Mille Feuille ” for dessert! Our server was top notch with his wine pairing and service! Be careful when booking reservation online. If it states “hearth” then you will be sitting at a bar by the fire. Luckily they were able to move us to a quaint table!

A sophisticated cottage vibe with seriously elegant and delicious food. While traveling home from a work trip we decided to visit the famous Mrytles plantation and decided to get some brunch from the restaurant there.  What an unexpected treat. The atmosphere was that of a small cottage with the wood and open hearth in which they prepare many of their dishes. The service was excellent. The mimosas were truly bottomless with the glass never emptying due to the prompt service. The food was as exquisite as any restaurant I have ever been too. Everything we had was a flavor explosion that would be extremely hard to find a complaint for. A place you must try, and we are excited to return to.

Great soccer, baseball, playground park! Lots of free parking. Clean bathrooms and concession stands. Enjoyed watching my grandsons play!

I love this park because there are so many different things to do for children & adults and they are free. There are batting cages, tennis, pickleball, & basketball courts, soccer, baseball, & open fields, skate park area right by the play ground, hiking & bike trails, archery area, get wet area for the summer heat, a nice size pond, covered picnic areas, and marked walking & bike areas. It is also pet friendly as long as the pets are on leashes. I personally love the hiking trails & the play ground area for my grandchildren. Another nice thing about this place is the fact that the restrooms are centrally located by the tennis, pickleball, & basketball courts which is near the play ground area.

Great spot to hike. Looked great for mountain biking too but I was just hiking. Beautiful even in the winter time. Also, I mostly hooked the riverbed which is where the pictures come from.

It was hot!!! And humid but man I been going to the park since I was 2-3 years old and that’s where I been all my life so I love the sports park.

The staff does an outstanding job with the upkeep of the entire facility. The grounds are well-maintained with the grass field always cut, playground, basketball pavilion, tennis & pickleball courts & walking track all clean, safe & secure!! Definitely an A+++ facilty!!!

I recently bought my wife a St. Valentine's Day gift here, and she loved it! The jewelry is a unique concept and beautiful, as well as reasonably priced. I was pretty offended, though, by a display of socks, of all things. Cuss words, like the f-word, were actually embroidered on these socks very near the store's center AND not far from the children's section - what are they thinking?? Like I said, the antique button jewelry is very nice, as are many of their other unique items, but I think they might have gone too far trying to seem unique.

I ordered an initial necklace button for one of my daughters for her birthday. It came without a chain. I thought okay. I can find or buy a chain... I wasn't upset. It was a beautiful button and the history of it was not something I had expected. So when a few days later what comes in the mail ....an apology that they forgot the chain. I received the chain plus a free pair of earrings that matched. What service!!!!! I will definitely be doing more business with your company Thanks for your outstanding service!

Google says they're open. The sign on the door says they're open. Its Friday at 5:30pm. We drove way out here to eat subway for my daughter just for the door to be locked when they should be open.

Let me start with how filthy the establishment was.. the tables were nasty, the floor was disgusting, the walls were even gross ! There was grime and food crumbs literally everywhere, not to mention the bugs. I ordered a wrap off the menu, asked for it to be exactly as mentioned on the menu, yet for some reason they couldn’t figure out what they had on their own menu! They put it all on flat bread and folded it like a taco, last I checked that is not a wrap.. she continuously asked what I wanted on it, and I again said “exactly as shown on the menu”, yet instead of looking at what should be on it, she just asked again, “what do you want on it”. They asked if I wanted it toasted and I said yes, she put it in there and didn’t even toast it (also did the same with my boyfriend’s sandwich). Our toasted food, felt like it had come straight from the fridge. We asked for 1 wrap, 1 6” sub, 3 cookies and 2 large drinks. We never got the cookies and our bill was over $30?!?!? If I were you, I would not waste your time here and if we are being completely honest this place should absolutely be shut down. I recommend a health inspector take a visit here, this place is not suitable to serve food

So today I made a mobile order (my first mistake), simple 3 sandwich order and I tipped 15% on the app. Wife picked up the order and came back home, I took 1 bite into my pretty much plain sandwich and I tasted pickles! Open it up and I can see where they messed up the order and instead of starting new they just picked off half the veggies. I drive 15 mins back to subway and 1 of 3 people where helpful and fixed me a new sandwich. The guy that was working today doesn’t need to be anywhere near the front to deal with customers with his attitude. Also if you mess up why not just start over instead of covering it up. Hell it’s just a sandwich!

They are pretty quick with their sandwich making. I usually have a double meat tuna on flat bread about once a week. Sometimes they don't staff enough during lunchtime, (not the staff's fault at all). The chip selection lacks variety. Look, it's Subway and it's pretty good for what you pay for.

This used to be an excellent restaurant but since covid it went almost totally to rakeout. There are still a few tabls to eat inside. However, food is served in takeout dishes, drinks are bottled with no fountain so no refills, plastic utensils, no placemats, etc. And the food is tasteless. No umami from MSG, incredibly mild mustard and hot sauce. Everything tastes like cardboard. I do not recommend this place at all.

I ordered roast pork and noodles with cabbage and carrots. I have a HUGE box of noodles maybe 6 slivers of meat a couple of pieces of carrots and and the same for the cabbage. When I asked about the meat I was told I could purchase more but there's no way to say how much I would receive. I stirred it around at the counter so the young and the lady could see what I was talking about but it didn't matter. I guess that's how it goes when you don't have competition That's all of the meat that you see. I've only been twice since I moved here and this is my last visit.

Used to be decent but my last few orders felt flat. Not horrible, just tasted like my food was reheated, not fresh. There is no other competition for Asian food in the area unfortunately. The inside is a complete no-go for dine in. On the plus side, the woman who works there is very nice.

The food tasted fine but there was nothing too it. The fried rice was only rice. The sweet and sour chicken was only chicken with sauce. No pineapple or onion. Its like they used the least amount of ingrediants possible in the dishes. Very underwhelming

Perfection! Have stayed at many B & Bs and this one is #1. Rooms are quiet, spotless and luxurious and have every amenity imaginable. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. The grounds are indescribably beautiful and guests are free to wander. A wonderful tour of the mansion is included. Hosts Julie and Hal are very hands-on and available in case you need something. Conveniently located to restaurants and area attractions. We stayed two nights and the highlight of our trip was sitting in the rockers with a glass of wine, taking in this little piece of heaven.

We had an amazing time. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff is a true representation of Southern hospitality. The owners have thought of everything. The rooms were beautiful decorated and very clean. Cabinets were neatly labeled. Outside of the rooms near the rocking chairs is a citronella candle and lighter. They provide bug spray outside a common area for the guest. The common area included bagged ice, homemade cookies, bottle water, granola bars and microwave popcorn. We were greeted in the morning with a full breakfast to include a choice of beverage, scrambled eggs, bacon, homemade biscuits, grits and fresh fruit. The breakfast was delicious! We can’t wait to go back!

We always go to the beach or the coast for our anniversary, but this year we decided to do something different — and we’re so glad we did. Words truly can’t express how much we needed this escape. Life is busy with kids, work, and constant schedules, so to be able to completely unplug just two hours from home felt like such a gift. The property is absolutely stunning. The grounds are meticulously maintained — something most people don’t realize takes an incredible amount of care — and it shows in every detail. The location was perfect: tucked just far enough outside of town to feel peaceful and private, yet close enough to easily explore the area. The B&B itself was everything we hoped for and more — quaint, cozy, and wonderfully quiet, with beautiful views of the main house. Breakfast each morning was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. Our only regret was not staying longer. We left feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already dreaming of when we can return. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the hospitality and care that made this stay so special. We will absolutely be back.

This was a GREAT overnight getaway from Baton Rouge. Just spent 1 night with my wife for our 'babymoon' before baby #3 arrives. Hal and Julie (and Stacy) were all amazing. Informative and easy check-in, super interesting tour in the morning. And the 2 outdoor cats were great also! Breakfast was delicious - served in a restaurant style seating area (but can also eat in room!). We will be back!

The room was big and very clean, the breakfast was wonderful, the place was beautiful and peaceful, the owners and staff were welcoming and always smiling, cannot say enough good things about our experience, at the end of our stay we felt like we were leaving home instead of going back home.... on top of all that, St. Francisville was a great little town with friendly people and many good places to eat!

We were looking for a quick get-away for our 50th anniversary and Greenwood did not disappoint! The grounds, mansion and inn are absolutely gorgeous. Our room was beautifully decorated, very roomy and incredibly clean. Bathroom was kind of small but the vanity was separate which gave you plenty of room to dress. The view from our room was breathtaking, especially at night, looking across the pond at the mansion all lit up and during the day when the sun is shining through the trees reflecting on the pond. The owners were so gracious to let us stroll around the property among the moss dripping oaks, so very pretty! Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed visiting with Stacy and watching scenes from North and South which was filmed on the property. The history of the plantation is very interesting and Julie and Hal (the owners) loved talking about it. The tour of the mansion was very interesting, you can tell the owners love the place and love sharing it with others. They thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We definitely plan to return, hopefully in the spring when the azaleas are blooming. This beautiful property is a must stay if you are looking to experience a little piece of plantation life, a quiet relaxing place and wonderful hosts (the kitties are oh so friendly too!). It is a bit off the beaten path but that is part of its charm. Did I mention the grounds and our room was very, very clean?? So glad our search led us to Greenwood! Saint Francisville is a neat little historic town with lots of little shops and good restaurants along with other plantations to tour (don't miss Rosedown if you enjoy that). Thank you Julie and Hal for sharing your little paradise with us!

Fantastic B&B. Great extensive beautiful property with a wildly interesting history. Great breakfast and the staff and owners are the nicest most accommodating folks.

GOOD: The gardens were nice, but of course, at the end of October, nothing is in bloom as it would be in spring. BAD: Everyone that visited the sight wanted to know about the 40-room mansion that burned down. ABSOLUTELY nothing was given about the structure, steps, or the three story outline of the home. I had to go to Wikipedia to get the outline and pictures. The gardens are OK, but it is the home everyone wants to know about!

Probably a bad time of year to visit, but there was almost nothing blooming and the grounds were very plain. The only flowers were in pots. The estate felt neglected and a bit sad. It was not worth the cost of admission.

Beautiful place. My niece and her family were visiting. I've been there a few times before. I always bring my camera. I love taking pics of nature. However, I will not be back! I thought my niece and her baby looked cute. So I started taking pics of them. One of the workers came up to me after about 20 minutes and said another worker went told him that I was doing a photo shoot. And that I had to pay $125 or leave. No where on the website does it say anything about a fee if u use the grounds for photography!!!! But no worries. I won't be back.

The only reason I’m ok with paying $12 per person is because I prefer that this land stay privately owned as a natural habitat rather than being developed into some commercial center. There is a ~30 minute audio tour that you can take to learn about the grounds. We happened to visit when the tulips were blooming, which was nice. Otherwise I think the cost should be $12 per car. It’s a bit overpriced for the foundation ruins of an old home and mostly grass.

Nice garden area. We toured right after a heavy rain came through the night before, but the grounds are beautiful. You have to pay $5 for 12 and up, and you get a brochure with the information about the House that burned and the gardens.

This is a beautiful well cared for place. Great place to visit. The staff is friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Butler Greenwood is a lovely place to spend a relaxing, quiet day ir two away. I love the drive in to start, the canopy of Live Oaks frames the old house and property, it's just lovely. The cottages are cozy, and every time we've visited, they were comfortable, clean and stocked.

Well....I don't know where to start! First of all, the elder woman was rude! We stayed in the pond house. The sheets were dirty, we had to fill and run the Jacuzzi tub 3 times before all the junk and bugs finished coming out of the jets! My son stayed in the chase cabin, wich was horrible, they had soo many flying ants it was ridiculous, so them and the dogs hurried up and ran out before they landed on them! The dogs ran out the door and straight into the truck, she called fussing that the dogs weren't on a leash, her not knowing what was happening, but was really rude about it! They were trying to tell her what was going on! So after they sprayed, they came back but still had to vacuum up ants the whole time they were there. There's at 3 BIG cats that run free there, they got into the trash and walked all on our vehicles! We will not be going back!

Was told I couldn't rent there after a beautiful stay previously they had availabilities but the owner told me to find somewhere else. Sadly I was looking forward to the serenity don't believe I'll visit again sadly. Never been told that with no reason as to why I couldn't stay.

Louisiana history from the 1700’s still standing. Place is beautiful if you love historic places with character. Enjoying my stay and the outdoors. Room I’m staying in also has a sealed water well it’s very unique. Would definitely come back. Also has wifi and cable for the “new world” aspect.

The plantation is a beautiful place. The grounds are beautiful, well kept with so many trees and rolling hills. Perfectly quiet. The cabin we stayed in was pretty old. Some people might like that but I guess I'm spoiled, I like to stay in something up to date, more modern. There were nicer cabins of course, but they were already rented. The owner is a wonderfully nice person. If you're looking to get away for a weekend, I highly recommend Butler Greenwood

We loved our stay at Butler Greenwood. We had the pool pavilion. The kids thoroughly enjoyed having the pool to themselves. Luke the goose was a treat. He was pretty fond of my husband and seemed to enjoy sitting with him at the beautiful pond. The trees are absolutely gorgeous and it was so peaceful & relaxing. Breakfast consisted of oatmeal, croissants, juice & milk. I was hoping for a better breakfast but that's because I was comparing it to others we've experienced. Overall our stay was beautiful and I recommend it.

For a disabled person it was tough to get inside but once inside the people who were running it we're extremely Pleasant. My wife had the opportunity to speak with the president of the Historical Society who shared lots of information with her. She lives across the street and was born and raised in that building. There's lots to do inside, a small gift shop, and don't forget to check out the tiny garden to the right of the building.

A small but very nice and informative museum about the history of St. Francisville and the West Feliciana parish! Also, there is no wait and no tickets needed.

Very interesting small museum. However it is totally silent on the issue of slavery in the area other to say that the brave settlers came with all their belongings and their slaves. Free labor from slaves built the enormous wealth of the surrounding plantations and to totally ignore this is a travesty. The plight of the slaves, so integral to the community, needs to be acknowledged and discussed.

Really helpful staff who suggested the Natchez Trace parkway and campsites along the way. Told me about the re enactment the next day so I stayed 3 nights. Met great people and experienced southern Louisiana hospitality.

Small museum but you can easily spend an hour or more here reading through all of the displays and watching the video. Well worth the stop. Completely free unless you purchase a souvenir.

288.00 for a shirt was absolutely ridiculous. I thought this would be a small town shop to pick up some Christmas items. I didn't see anything under 40.00. Quite a price for a stocking stuffer. I did not purchase anything, nor will I go back.

Very nice place to visit and find home decor and gifts! The place smells wonderful and has a wide selection of sents in various formats. They have an assortment of things including silverware, furniture and decor. My girlfriend was in heaven. Staff is very friendly.

Sage Hill is a wonderful place to shop with a variety of gift items. The smell in the gift shop is wonderful. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend to shop here.

This is the most precious store! Has everything you need from a new couch to the perfect pair of sandals! Cutest owner ever! An absolute must if you’re in the area..or not. Gotta go!

Lots of very unique gifts, home decor items, and fun Louisiana kitsch in a classicly preserved local historical building. Many of the prices were more than fair, and I can honestly say that we seen things here that we have never seen before. We made a few purchases and in sure we'll be back because it's a lot bigger of a store than it looks like from the outside. They have lots of stuff!

Sage Hill is one heck of a lovely place to shop. They have everything from furniture to jewelry to clothes and children's toys. Great place, great people. I highly recommend stopping into Sage Hill Antiques if you're looking for something special.

An absolute must visit when you’re in the area!!! Beautiful and unique items, helpful and friendly staff with great taste that can assist with anything from picking out a gift to redecorating your entire home. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best state historic sites that I have been to. The walking trail is a good one--along with the certain designated buildings that they have on the premises. The lady in the building (cute brunette) is so friendly and informative. She's in the museum building where you purchase tickets. The Audubon home guide is a great storyteller. I really enjoyed coming to this spot. You won't be disappointed. I learned so much about Audubon. If you have seen the movie "Where the Crawdad's Sing", Marsh Girl's illustrations in the book she sends off are very much to Audubon's style.

This was our first visit, but won't be our last. First, there's Oakley Plantation if you're into historic buildings (we didn't tour it this visit). Second, there's a very easy walking trail that's only 1 mile long where you can see a lot of interesting nature. Depending on the time of year you'll see tons of flowers, other times not many flowers, but the flora and occasional fauna is visible year-round. It' was very peaceful, the visitors' center was nice and very well kept, and the restrooms were absolutely spotless.

A great place to visit a lot of history there. The Rangers and the guides are quite knowledgeable and share a ton of information with you.

OMG it's amazing!!! The history you feel in this house and on the grounds!!! Did the mile hike which could have used a little more upkeep but absolutely peaceful!!! The history of the house is pretty cool. Definitely recommend if you like the historical sites...

We went for a Jane Austen Christmas presentation. It was freezing, but my kids had lots of fun playing the vintage games, learning about pheasant hunting, drinking wassail, and touring the grounds. Beautiful property. Rich history. Enjoyable and memorable day for sure!

This site is one you’ll definitely want to go to. It is owned by the state so they have put a lot of effort into the restoration and upkeep of the property. We arrived for a tour of the house which was absolutely stunning and was mostly all original. I loved they didn’t water down the history by leaving out the most important people of Louisiana history: The enslaved. There was a big focus on it and the tour guide and person at the front did a great job. It also was an inexpensive tour and well worth it. It’s a huge property, honestly, you could probably get lost on it! I enjoyed seeing the house and being able to pay my respects to my ancestors who once were forced to live there. They also have reenactment events from time to time, and while I was there they were shooting cannons! The lady at the front did warn us but I wasn’t prepared for how loud it would be I almost jumped out of my skin!! 😆 It wasn’t as loud in the house but outside—yeah, just make sure you’re aware of that stuff!

Great spot to see . Very nice to visit . Enjoyable. But beware of River Boat Tours groups being in the area . You as a drop in looking for a house tour may get denied because the tour group company has tours booked up for a bus load of folks for the time you show up and want to see the house . Very nice place and house to visit however .

My fries had debris on them- an obvious sign that the fryers need to be cleaned. The dining room- all tables were dirty. All of them. Service- where to start- super slow and several acted like they couldn't be bothered. Those that were helpful were very helpful (thank you to those 2). Bathroom was DISGUSTING. I think I'm glad I just got a tetanus shot. Seriously.

I went through the drive thru. The employee who took my order was polite but sounded like he really didn't want to be there. I purchased 2 double cheeseburgers, cheeseburger meal, 20 pc. chicken nuggets, large frie, & drinks. I had to pull up and wait for my lg. fries. I looked through the bag, and I was missing the med. fries that came with the meal. A very nice older lady brought my lg. fries out, then went back in to get the med. fries. When I returned home to with my grandchildren, the nuggets were excellent, the cheeseburgers were dried out and burnt, & one double cheeseburger didn't have anything on it but pickles. This was absolutely the worst McDonalds, I have ever been to.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would everytime you go you wait waited 20 minutes for a McDouble small fry and 4 peace nugget heard the McDouble be called back plenty of times to be made when he was told the final time to make it he had a smart remark I could understand if you where under staffed but 6 to 7 people in one kitchen get new managers who know how to run a shifted went Monday was no wait but to my surprise open my hot and spicy bread so hard you could knock somebody out with it and had NOTHING on it . Do better you don’t want to work quit .

stopped on my way back home from the Angola rodeo with my boyfriend and his family to use the restroom and grab something quick to eat on the road. absolutely worst experience at a mcdonalds ive ever experienced. FIRST OFF, the bathroom had no toilet paper and the counter by the sink was filthy along with the stalls, which the floors were covered in toilet paper. SECOND, the service was very disappointing, multiple customers, (most of which had also stopped in on their ways home from the same rodeo), had been waiting for well over 30 minutes. most of our family was literally able to eat their food (which was terrible by the way) before they finally gave my boyfriends sister her and her child's food. THIRD, the workers were cussing in front of everyone and talking about refunding every customer and clocking out. the workers also forgot multiple things on nearly everyones orders, as well as not filling the receipt paper on the kiosk so my boyfriend and i didnt get a receipt nor our order number, LUCKILY i saw it within the 2 seconds it was on the screen and memorized it. if i could leave 0 stars, i WOULD. 0/10000. do NOT recommend.

Hot in dining area. Used kiosk and paid at kiosk. After waiting awhile we were hollered at to come to the counter. Was told two items (already paid for) were unavailable and the discussion to refund was ridiculous. Tables dirty. Ketchup packets on window and floor. Food on floor. Gross.

UNBELIEVABLE…I’m 2 for 2. Pulled up at 9:59 pm, ordered a quarter pounder, and am told… “We’re out.” First time I just drove off and thought that was weird! Tonight, after getting told the same thing, I had to ask…how are you, McDonalds, out of quarter pounders? Apparently they clean grill, at least, two hours before they close and just quit making them. She told me it’s the managers decision to just quit making them since they’ve already “Cleaned the Grill”. 2 hours early!!!??? I ordered two cheeseburgers but am now worried bc obviously the didn’t put them on the grill 😳. Fries have no salt and am gonna trash the burgers. No idea how they have 3.1*. Will NEVER go back.

Hometown place on Sunday morning. Seat yourself and waited quite a while for service. Ordered the Mac&Cheeseburger. It was huge and looked delicious. The patties were cheap and grisly like the cheapest from Sam's or Sysco. Crab and corn bisque was OK. The alligator sausage was very good.

Went here during lunch, just after 11. On Google maps, it is notated as a breakfast restaurant. But noticed on the menu they stop serving breakfast at 11 or until they run out. So, I was real disappointed and ended up ordering a cheeseburger. I read reviews that pricing was reasonable, but it was $13 for a burger with small bag of chips, which for me is expensive. But, WOW!!! The burger was great, especially the bread. WOW, WOW, WOW! I am so happy I stopped!

This may just be my favorite place to eat here. My son got the macaroni & cheeseburger with slaw & he said it was fantastic! I got Nana's breakfast (2 eggs, bacon or sausage, & toast or biscuit) & it was pretty good. It's a quaint little place with a tiny kitchen you can see in as you pass by to sit. They are affiliated with the antique mall behind it so they have antiques inside to look at &/or purchase. The wait staff is friendly & professional.

This place is great. It is like stepping back in time or maybe like going to a friend's house for dinner. I saw one lady get a sample of the casserole before she ordered it. The food was excellent and we got great service even though we were not a locals. We will certainly be back.

Let me start off by saying, what a refreshing sandwich to start the day! I got the Audobon's BLTC with chips. It's basically their version of the BLT. It had just the right amount of bacon, and everything was fresh and delicious! Really nice and quiet atmosphere as well.

It’s like going out to your Maw Maw’s house out in the country…and you wake up in the morning and smell the bacon she has frying up on the stove. I love it.

Great store. Great price point for the product they carry. The owners work the store and are there to greet you. Food is always hot in the deli. Corporate event catering as well as personal event catering and rentals as well. Family company with great people!

Get some fried chicken!

Wife and I got a couple of oyster Po-Boys. Oysters were well cooked, not too done. Could have put about two more oysters on the Po-Boy to make it look full. A bit more seasoning also could be used. They did have a lot of business at the time and the food smelled good, not burnt. The fresh seafood look good too. We will return.

I love going in there and seeing all the fresh seafood...fresh boiled shrimp, fresh boiled crabs, even oysters and seafood platters with stuffed crabs. So many different options. Gets a bit busy sometimes so call ahead and order for sure!! But definitely best seafood place around!

This is BY FAR the best Mexican restaurant in West Feliciana, although Jalepeno's in Jackson is better. The menu at El Mayor is the usual Tex-Mex plus quite a few traditional Mexican dishes. It's all good and reasonably spicy, and you can get actual Mexican hot sauces if you want more heat. Service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere is nice, and sometimes there is live mariachi music.

El Mejor is a Mexican restaurant about five minutes outside of Saint Francisville, Louisiana. Driven by it several times wanted to try it and finally did tonight. The food was amazing!!! I had chicken and steak fajitas and my date had steak fajitas. The steak was so tender and full of flavor. The margaritas were really good as well. If you find yourself in this neck of woods, I definitely recommend stopping by.

First time. Made kind of a specialized order. Asked for side of veggies. Wow did they deliver a beautiful sizzling plate of chicken and gorgeous veggies with sauce on the side. Server (Taylor) was fabulous- quick & attentive without being too much. Drink was yummy, good was tasty. Thanks so much, we will be back! Well worth it

Our server was Wendy and it was her second day, she did a great job and our orders were perfect. The manager even made rounds to confirm everything and to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. We love stopping and eating here when we get the chance the food is AWESOME and service is always fast. I had the Steak & Chicken Happy Plate, my sister had just the Chicken Happy Plate, Dad had the Mexican City Combo it looked so great that I will be trying that next time! Lastly Mom had the Smothered Chicken without mushroom sauce. Also the Large Guacamole is so fine! We had that as the appetizer and it was plenty for all 4 of us! Great service, portions and food! Come check this place out.

They absolutely crush the competition on frozen drinks… The mango margarita is so dang delicious. The female bartender in the back is very helpful and always looking out for her customers. Highly recommend checking out El Majors!

I love this place! If you don’t like it, you don’t like Mexican food haha - it was very good, large portions. I got the enchiladas suizas and they were very tender and delicious. We also had a taco salad and it was huge and tasty. I love the salsa that comes with the chips. Service was good - servers were very sweet, if a little slow. They came very quickly with our food though! The restaurant itself has a very charming atmosphere. I always really enjoy the music that they have playing which is usually a mix of some Latin pop and bachata.

A wonderful chill spot to get a sweet treat while walking under the oak trees in St. Francisville town park. Staff is super friendly. Love getting ice cream and relaxing after a week of working.

My first time here. I had the pistachio ice cream cup and found it to be okay, but nothing special. I would go there again.

Shopped with 3 friends this weekend. We spent an hour trying on clothes and enjoying ourselves. Susan gave the best customer service and offered honest opinions about how clothes looked on us. Great selection. Lots of variety in style and price. Will make the drive from Baton Rouge again soon!

Fabulous new boutique! A must see.

Drove from Baton Rouge to eat here and it was a really good experience. Our server was great, she was laid back and friendly which I appreciated a lot. The dining rooms and exterior were stunning. It’s a really beautiful place. The food was great too. Unfortunately for me though, eating here made my girlfriend want to stay at the inn.

I dined here three times and always have had great service and great food. The Saint is a very unique and elegant restaurant and one of a kind.

Beautiful rooms with excellent attentive service. Unfortunately it was rather crowded and loud in each room which made it hard to hear the others at my table. However the lamb appetizer and veal dish more than made up for that, and it was a delightful delicious dinner.

Beautiful dining room and excellent food. My only less than stellar note is that our server Shaya kind of griped about us ordering desert to the kitchen. I overheard and it just soured the note to what was a fun and special dinner. I understand that we were the last customers in the restaurant. I tipped generously. And I even asked to take the dessert to go. It’s unfortunate that an amateur and unnecessary comment had to be made to make us feel unwelcome. We avoided the restaurant the next morning for breakfast as a result even though breakfast was included in our stay. 🙁

We just had our first visit to The Saint and it was absolutely wonderful! The food was amazing. The service was wonderful. And the ambiance is straight out of the pages of a Eudora Welty story. All of the charm of the south with the quality of a high-end meal and a perfectly paired wine. We will absolutely be back!

Everything about this restaurant is perfect. From their staff to their food. The service is excellent and the hospitality is out of this world. They were a constant for us during the biggest event of our lives and we cannot thank them enough. Larry went above and beyond for us and he became more of a friend than just someone helping us. They created special menus with our names on it, accommodated us from day one with clear communication and never once was hesitant to help us make this the best day ever! We are forever blessed to say we will be back for the rest of our lives. This is not just a place to stay, it’s a place to call a blessing!

I can’t say enough about this restaurant!! Celebrated birthdays here and everything about this place was fabulous! The food, atmosphere, the people! I got to say our server MS. ANGELA is the absolute best ever!

I place simple order t44 ocean water with nerds and a coney no napkins no utensils and I said easy ice but no I had no nerds and a bunch of ice and when ask to correct it she gave me a big smile with a sarcastic face and they were trying to charge me for nerds after I told them like three times placing order no good I very unwelcoming coming here having employees like that

My husband and I came to get a cookie dough blast with hot fudge. When the “blast” came out, there were about 8 pieces of cookie dough and a Glob of hot fudge on the top of the blast. Once those few pieces were eaten…we quickly realized that the rest of the blast was nothing but vanilla ice cream. NOTHING ElSE! My husband hit the button again and asked the lady for some more cookie dough because there was none. She came out to our vehicle and was very rude and said if we wanted more we would have to pay extra. We explain to her that we took one bite of the blast and there was nothing else left the vanilla ice cream and she would not help and said we had to pay for anything additional. Worst service and blast ever. Like I’m not really mad that it wasn’t full of cookie dough and fudge, it was more about how they responded when we explain the situation. Money down the drain.

I got here at 9:25 pm It’s now 9:56 and no one has taken our order. I saw other people getting served and now they’re just inside cleaning. This car came well after me and got served while I was still ignored. Thank you for wasting my time, appreciate it. This location is garbage, don’t waste your time.

I’m usually not the person to do these negative reviews but this place is just no good. I ordered a large chocolate shake with whip cream. My shake came out about 3/4 full , tasted exactly like vanilla ice cream , and had no whip cream. This place is ridiculous. Service is rude as well. This is a continuous problem. I won’t be coming back.

If I was like one of three places to eat for miles away, I would have a staff that cares about the success of my business. Your staff is weak. Waited forever and even flagged someone down and no one cared to take my order. Luckily there is a McDonald’s next door.

I ask for a sweet tea that wasn’t sweet I told them to taste it they said is ok. Then they offered me a different drink. The Burguer was way too thin thinner than the bread, and was a machine of frozen coke that was out of order too! They just robbed me here for 11.00 Nothing like the advertisement picture I WILL NEVER WALK ON BURGUER KING

It's a Burger King like any other. However, as I eat there fairly often, the staff knows me and is very friendly. One caveat, however, is that the ability to place orders through the app is only available about 50% of the time.

The most horrible, filthy, broken down fast food restaurant I have ever been in! The girl with short hair working the window and the young guy with s white ski hat were polite and recognized the slow service when the place was empty. The short young man was a waste of an employee. As a result of the slow service, I had way too much time to look at the whole scenario: greasy floor in the kitchen, sticky floor where i was standing, food on floor throughout the kitchen, trash on tables and floor in dining area. Bathroom was gross n sink faucet literally broken off. I appreciate the workers, who seemed to have no leadership to help them along the way. Whoever is the franchise of this location should be fined or have their franchise pulled!!!!

This was my first and last time visiting the Burger King in St. Francisville. The service was absolutely horrible from start to finish. First, I couldn’t order on the app, so I went through the drive-thru. I asked for a small frozen blue raspberry Fanta, and the cashier told me the only flavor available was cotton candy. Fine. Then she said, “Well, the machine is still freezing, so it’s not available.” (Really?) Next, I ordered a ham, egg, and cheese croissant with a 3-piece French toast. I was then told, “Oh, I don’t have ham ready right now.” At that point, aggravated, I just asked what they did have and switched to bacon, egg, and cheese. At the window, I tried to give her my code to get points, but she said it wasn’t working. Okay, fine. I gave her my card for the transaction—no receipt was given. When I asked for one so I could enter it later to get my points, she told me it didn’t print and offered to take a picture of her screen with my phone. The screen only showed my total—nothing else useful. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and unwillingness to provide even basic customer service is enough for me never to return. Extremely disappointing.

Negative Stars. 'If' they have 1/2 a menu available, it your lucky week. Service is beyond slow and quite possibly the rudest I have ever experienced. Just close the doors already and make room for a proper establishment.

The worst service I’ve ever had at a Burger King. I had to call the location to get them to take my order in the drive thru. Say they’re open at 6:00 am, but still can’t serve you at 6:30 am. Always out of supplies. Service is terrible

Wouldn't trust these folks to correctly fill an order for a glass of water... Waited 20 minutes in drive-thru line and mistakenly didn't check order before leaving. Don't know if they're just short handed or don't care.

Love going to Our Lady of Mt Carmel. Father Cary is an outstanding pastor and the church staff is great! In fact, the entire congregation is so friendly and helpful, no matter what you need. It's really like a wonderfully extended family.

Catholic Hill is a wonderful little place. The church is warm and welcoming to visitors. We enjoyed celebrating Holy Mass with this faith-filled congregation.

Visit St. Francisville and experience the beauty of Catholic Mass by Father Brad. Catholic hill and Mt. Carmel worth the visit. Wonderful gift shop behind the church.

A very nice historic church with a great hill top overview of the surroundings. I really liked and used the prayer garden on each visit.

A beautiful Botanic Garden with an amazing story. Mr. Imahara and his family are an interesting testament to the American spirit and remind us that there are many origins to this spirit. It is an amazing place.

Beautiful gardens, well kept and authentic. Imahara-san has done an amazing job with the grounds and I recommend it!

So Great ..

The West Feliciana Railroad Caboose is a very good display of railroad history. My wife’s Dad was a freight train conductor and the caboose brought back fond memories. What would be better is if they had not used plexiglass to replace the end windows. They are too cloudy to see through and the interior is not really visible. Otherwise it’s a great display.

Nice little stop off on our way through St. Francisville. You can’t go inside, but can look through the door. My kids enjoyed seeing it.

Cute and historic stop if you are in the beautiful town of St. Francisville! Train is kept up well and clean on the outside. Also has a covered picnic table to the side. Louisiana needs more of these historic sites preserved!

A blast from the past I.C. railroad it looked great for its age.

It was cool and all until when we looked at the yellow caboose, there was wasp orHornets. They stung us good. I feel like they should keep those out in case a kid got on there.

The people are great, living here is the best of any where. Super place to live and raise a family, in my case granddaughters.

This is free and open to the public. Excellent spot to take awesome pictures!

Stunning church & graveyard. I have a love for old graveyards & this one was perfect!! Stunning architecture & history!!

The Grace Episcopal Church of West Feliciana is a beautiful and historic place. Built in 1827 the Grace church is one of the oldest in the area and traces its roots to the Church of England. The architecture is straight forward but lovely and the interior is tasteful and reverent. This a lovely structure on a beautiful setting.

When we visited The Myrtles and Rosedown Plantation, I asked where were the people who built these great houses buried? I thought there would be family burial sites on each property, but apparently not. We were directed to this picturesque and quaint church and cemetery. We walked towards the back, behind the church and found who we were looking for....The Winters, Stirlings, Turnbulls and Bowmans. The cemetary itself seemed to be a quintessential representation of just what a southern cemetery should be....iron work, massive oaks dripping with moss, neat and orderly rows and gated and fenced in groupings of family plots. We would have liked to have gone inside the church, but it was closed for renovations. This cemetary is well worth the visit when you come to St. Francisville.

It's definitely a must if you are tooling around St Francisville LA. We enjoyed the beauty of the church and peacefulness of the grounds and great oaks. I am spoiled by Nola cemeteries.. Nothing compares.

The grounds, trees and surrounding cemetery are absolutely gorgeous. It’s definitely a place you’ll want to visit while in St Francisville. The church is currently being renovated inside so it’s closed but the grounds are open. 2020.

Very historic fantastic experience. Free entry. Pre civil war. Awesome historic pipe organ and bell tower. Graves circa 1800. Great for photography. Very nice of the church to allow visitors to see the buildings and grounds.

So Beautiful and Picturesque. You will want to take pictures or video when you see how lovely this place looks all around the grounds. Both sets of pew are divided down the middle. I thought it was to segregate male from female or color but have learned it was to divide young from old. Still not clear on the purpose.
